Do not trust Ashley’s. They charged me full price for an item after they gave me a receipt saying it was half off. Manager at the location clearly doesn’t care because I never got a phone call back or resolution, even though his associate gave me a paper stating the price I was going to pay.

Bought a mattress from Ashley in Joplin, MO in February! The sales rep said it would take up to 6 months to adjust to our bodies. It was had from day one and I kept saying we have to give it time, but I didn’t think it was the one we chose. We went to the store and I had taken pictures of the mattress number and sure enough it was not the mattress we thought we were getting. The new sales rep sent it in as incorrect mattress and they called today and said there is nothing we can do. So needless to say my back, neck, and hip still are uncomfortable and mattress will not help, like the sales rep said it would since we received the wrong bed!!!! Not happy with Ashley furniture, will not step foot in their door ever again, due to miss representation of a mattress that was to provide a good nights rest! I guess I am thankful to have a bed but the only thing different from the bed and the floor is the bed is off the floor!!!!😂

This store in Joplin deserves a zero star! We bought a new matress and were delivered the wrong matress. The matress we received was like sleeping on a solid floor. The salesmen told us to give it 6 months and it would/should become much softer. After 6 months, there was no change and we visited the store about it. The store stated that this was a "broken promise" transaction and filed a complaint/warranty which was has been denied. The salesmen who sold us the matress has since moved to Florida working for the same company so there is no direct contact with him. Ashley's cusomer service is pathetic at best. They offer no discounts, options or even want to try to help us with this. We will never ever buy anything from Ashley Furniture again!

Nice selection, salesman wasn't pushy, good prices for Labor Day. Furnished our living room & dining room, haven't gotten them yet but free setup and delivery makes me happy. I will update if I encounter any issues. Whelp, it didn't take long to encounter an issue. The salesman promised me it would only take 10-14 days for my furniture to be delivered. Over 1 week after placing our order, I received a text asking to set up delivery. Nearly 4 weeks out!!! We are Furious! We absolutely would have gone somewhere else since we are living on an air mattress at the moment! Nope. Won't be going back there with lying salesmen named BRAD! Update, 1 week later and we received our loveseat only. It is falling apart after 3 days. One seat is sagging, we looked underneath and the frame is bent. We called and they said they would send out replacement parts. We can already tell it is junk and we will be replacing everything in 5 years. I do Not recommend Ashley Furniture, I regret purchasing from them. Save yourself the time and aggravation. Go to Bob's Furniture, they have much better quality furniture.

Went in just looking at their sectionals. Find the perfect one. Christy was an absolute delight to work with. She made everything so fast and easy. If you are looking for any furniture I would highly recommend going to see Christy to get you taken care of!

What a pleasant surprise to find that Ashley had what we wanted in stock and for a better price than what we had seen at other stores! I thought the setup fee was extremely high so I did not do that and then when the delivery drivers wanted to just leave our purchase on the porch and the salesman said they would bring it in the house. I was a little bit upset about that. The drivers did finally bring it in the house

I had a very good experience at the Ashley store, everyone was very helpful and nice. Marcus Dickinson was my salesman and very helpful with all my questions .

I called to see what sleeper sofas were in stock anywhere in the area (I needed one ASAP!) and Christine went above and beyond to locate one for me. She also followed up to make sure I had all of the information needed for the warehouse pickup after the transaction.

Landon was very helpful and showed us lots of options and all the different ways to build the couch we wanted. He took in ALL of our likes/dislikes and wants to build us a couch! We walked out very happy!

When I entered the store, I was greeted, but then left alone to browse, which I loved. The salesman must not over my shoulder the whole time which was nice. I found the couch I wanted, and the purchasing part was easy And fast. Cannot wait to get my couch.

I will not use Ashley furniture again. I purchased a king size mattress and boxsprings and arranged delivery. They informed me it would be here Wednesday. Before I left the parking lot I realized it said queen boxspring and king mattress. I went back in and they said that was fixed, though it was now more expensive. It was still supposed to be delivered on Wednesday though. I was told they would be texting bit did not receive a text. My husband called, and it took multiple times to get anyone to answer. Eventually they say it is on the truck and will be there sometime today (Wednesday). Crickets. Eventually after several calls later when it didn't show they Eventually they say pur salesman screwed up on entering the financing paperwork and now we won't be delivering for at a week. The fact that this was their error meant nothing and they absolutely refused to deliver sooner. The fact that we had already gotten rid of the old mattress meant nothing to them because it would be too inconvenient to deliver to our area on a day they didn't want to. Multiple attempts to reach them again and eventually we got another mattress elsewhere and several tries later were finally able to tell someone to cancel. We will NEVER buy from Ashley again. Now we just have to make sure they actually did cancel because it wouldn't surprise me if they screw that up too. If I could give negative stars I would.

Best customer service I’ve had in a long time!!! I never had to wonder about anything, I was always informed, and provided with link with immediate up to date information. Including the location of driver on his way. I didn’t have to sit there and wait all day not knowing. Over the phone and delivery people were both kind, professional, and throughout!

Edit: i contacted the number given immediately after, and included dates given by Protectall that they stated that they sent the request. The proof is in the screenshot about how it went. Same as before. At this point, I'll wait another month and see if anything happens. Again. I'll absolutely change this to a higher star count if I can get this resolved, but as of now, it remains a 1. They claimed to not see my account until the screen shot went through with the information. Then they found it. With the information that i had sent the first time. I don't understand why this is so difficult. It really doesn't have to be. Just reminds me that companies today, don't put forth the effort that we hope for. I get it. Money to be made and lost. But false statements are still false statements. The furniture is nice, but I had purchased the warranty on a nice couch and love seat. When I asked the salesman if the extra protection warranty covered frame damage, he had no problem telling me multiple times that it did. I'm a bigger guy with some rather rambunctious dogs. Lo and behold, laying on the couch one day and I'm jumped on by the pack. We had minor structural damage! Cracked the frame with the combined weight and pressure from 80 lbs of dog. Tried to file a claim and get the couch repaired. It isnt covered. My mistake for not reading the finer print and trusting someone who works for commission. Lesson learned. Upon reading it though, it states that a refund for a pro rated amount for the warranty could be obtained if canceled. HERE'S THE PROBLEM. I've been trying since November of 2024 to get this situation taken care of. Both parties, the store and Protectall, the third party that issued the warranty stated they need to hear from the other party to confirm cancelation. I've made phone calls, sent emails, physically went to the store for the last 6 months to continuously be told the other party has to be contacted. It's INFURIATING. It's not a small chunk of change either. We threw nearly an extra 800 dollars into garbage. I get an apology and told to contact the other business. Roughly a 20 minute wait time with terrible music. And after over 40 attempts since November, it's not worth it. Ashley claims that if you purchase the insurance and don't use it, it can be used as credit for another piece of furniture in the future. Tried that. They have my information of the claim number when I'm trying to get it refunded, but magically it isn't there when I try to use it to put towards another piece of furniture, paperwork in hand. I don't like throwing the term "scam" around, but I genuinely feel slighted in this situation. Again, the furniture is great, but be wary, read the fine print, and if they tell you any of their plans cover frame or structural damage, ask to see it, and hell, i should have got the salesman to sign it.

We purchased a large area rug, but received a different one. We went to the Ashley store and the Manager, Brendan, told us he agreed that we didn’t get what we ordered, and to call a number to get the return approved. We called the same day, on Friday, and were told they would call us back within 24-48 hours. The following Tuesday pm we had no return call. We called again & were told that we have to get Brendan to put in the paperwork. We’ve left word for him to call us. It has been a hassle thru no fault of our own. This process is very aggravating to a customer.

The men who delivered my recliner were professional. They did not leave until I was fully satisfied with my purchase. I recommend Ashley to anyone who needs new furniture

2 Stars - Great Store, Awful Delivery Experience The in-store experience was perfect—the staff was helpful, professional, and made shopping enjoyable. Unfortunately, everything fell apart once it came to delivery. "Chatbot Jenny" from Ashley HomeStore is useless, and getting help from the customer care team was beyond frustrating. We eventually got so fed up that we sent our own team to pick up the furniture—an hour away—just to finally get our order. While we’re happy with the furniture itself, the delivery and support process was so dysfunctional that we won’t be shopping here again. It’s a shame because the store team deserves better backup.

Sales people are nice enough. The problem with the Joplin Ashley store is that once you pay there they are done. They have a 'no return' policy storewide. They don't mention that to you while shopping! Any issue you have will go through a corporate location. The delivery people will bring you stained mattresses and furniture. Nothing comes wrapped. Other stores deliver furniture wrapped and people wear gloves. We had a horrible experience with the Ashley delivery. We all know that Ashley carries lower quality, lower priced furniture. Our expectations were low considering Ashley's reputation. Even with that, we are still very disappointed. You should still receive what you ordered without grease lines across your mattresses and wheels that don't damage your floors from chairs you bought from them. They will apologize over and over and then deliver it again with pollen and grease all over everything again. Don't call the store, they can't do anything... Also, their wheeled chairs will damage wood floors. Would have been nice if they had trained sales people that know this. To get decent quality you just have to go to Springfield or Bentonville. We thought we could grab a few pieces of non-essential furniture pieces from Ashley. Nope! The place is so hard to deal with. They have a 'No Return' policy on everything you buy there. Just do yourself a favor...go to a real furniture store.

I bought a durapella reclining sectional 9 months ago. When I told the sales rep that I wanted this, I changed my mind after I filled out the paperwork for fiancing. He said that it was too late that I had already filled out the papereork. At first I was ok with it. I can be a little indecisive. But the reason I wanted a different set was because of not being able to find anything on how to clean it, manage it..I have dogs and the only thing that was listed that I could use on this material is water. Needless to say, Im feeling scammed, taking advantage of...I was going to buy from your store regardless but I wanted to be able to keep it clean. I will never trust a salesman again. That was bs. I work hard for my money and would NEVER tell someone that they couldnt change their mind on what theyre paying for!!!!

Went into the joplin store today and found new reclining sectional we loved priced at $3849 without tables or accessories. Went home to look it up on their website to get dimensions and double check that it would fit. The price online NOT discounted was $2999. A difference of $850! No thank you joplin ashley store. I think I'll keep my $850 and order online.

Payed for furniture, scheduled a uhaul, picked up the uhaul to get my furniture on the day they said to pick up. When I got to the store they told me their system messed up and didn't process the payment, couldn't let me have furniture even though my account showed the money was gone. I then asked for a refund and they said yes and acted like they were gonna fix the problem and said to wait 7 to 10 days to recieve. did that and still nothing. Called up to the store to ask and they said they didn't even processes the return! Now I have to wait 2+ whole weeks to see if they actually send my money back. Very disappointed. Wasted more money trying to buy from them than I would if I would have just went somewhere else. The employes were nice but obviously don't do their jobs!

Purchased a sectional couch and an entire bedroom set in December of 2019. Delivery was absolutely terrible with dates being pushed back, partial deliveries, non-functional battery packs and getting sent parts to finish building furniture that they wouldn't come to complete. Then I get to 4-5 month mark on the sectional and it begins failing internally. I thought no big deal since I paid over $500 dollars for a warranty that the salesman so generously convinced me that it would cover absolutely anything that happened to it. Called the warranty company and they advised the damage on the couch wasn't covered under warranty but don't worry it won't be a claim against you so you will be reimbursed for your warranty after 5 years of not using it. Fast forward to early 2025 when the 5 year mark is up and I've not been able to use a recliner on my sectional since I purchased it, I call the warranty company. They inform me that there will be no reimbursement for the warranty but they will offer me an in-store credit. Why would I want to buy more product from a company that failed miserably within months of owning it and absolutely terrible customer service? I will NEVER buy furniture from this company again. I just hope this review saves one person from purchasing furniture from this store. But if you do, please don't waste the money on the warranty that will be completely useless to you. 1-Star because it refuses to let me leave them ZERO!!!

Spent over $10,000 on new furniture for new house. Paid most in cash. Purchased extended warranty. One of our kitchen table chairs is broke. Tried to use warranty and was told by warranty company the store canceled it. Store say no we did not. No body at the store or at warranty company can fix the problem they just blame the other. So decided to try and cancel the warranty on everything and get refund back. Was told that our refund would take 7 to 10 days after 12 days called and they said it had never been canceled and I need to call the warranty company. Called the warranty company and they call Ashley’s with me on the phone. When call is done I am told by both companies that the warranty is canceled and our refund will take another 7 to 10 days 11 days later call again and told no the warranty was canceled wrong and now it is correct and I can call back in two day to confirm call back and told no warranty has never been canceled at the warranty company. I will never do business with any Ashley store or products again and I am seeking legal halo for my $1,399.99 I have been told more then 6 times has been refunded then never get it and then told it was never canceled.

This store hands down has the best customer service out of all Ashley’s around. I drove all the way from Arkansas to come specifically to this store. Seth was a fantastic salesman and extremely knowledgeable about all the product in the store. Marcus was a great manager too! Extremely sweet staff - this will forever be my go to Ashley store for all my furniture and decor needs for my home.

Our sales representatives Seth and Alex at the Ashley store in Joplin Mo. were extremely down to earth and very knowledgeable. There were no high pressure sales tactics or pitches. They were patient and helpful in every way.

Too much pressure but it was kind and friendly. Also, read the fine print on the warranties package. You get the warranty price back if you don't use it but they don't mention that you must make a $500 purchase, and you get it back in store credit.

We bought bought a couch only half of it was delivered. The bed table dresser and other items we bought we had them paid to put together after the installers came and put the bed together we realized it was loose and missing parts: customer service was not any help at all. This place is just a joke I wouldn’t waste my time here

What a joke of a store! My dad James Carrington bought a couch and paid to have it and other furniture delivered and put together (Bed,tables,other misc items). After while when James went to see the brand new furniture put together, he noticed half of the couch was missing(L shaped). He then went to inspect the table and misc items that the installers put together and legs were lose,hardware was missing and looked terrible. i do not reccomend anyone spending any kind of money at this store. BAD BUSINESS. DO NOT GO HERE. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE

We purchased furniture with assembly services, but the delivery was incomplete and the installers left without finishing. The bed was assembled loosely with missing parts, and customer service was unhelpful

Absolutely worest experience I've ever had with a business. They advertised same day delivery, when I went in, my mattress was not in stock. The employees told me be few days and I'll have delivery time, week goes by and I get a call saying it be 2 weeks, OK I can handle that 2 weeks go by and delayed again another 3 weeks, wow ok. The employees insured me my old mattress will be taken away, 3 days before delivery I called and made sure they will be taking my mattress away and I was told "yes it's part of the deal" great no worries. When my new mattress arrives they refused to take my mattress because of a stain. I wish they would have stipulated that cause then I would of planned accordingly. Will never come here again and will try my outmost to warn other customers of there horrible practices. You have be warned.

I had a wonderful experience at Ashley. Largely because of the salesperson I was working with, Shane Kieffer. He was exactly who I needed to work with to get my shopping done. I do not like when a salesperson follows me all over a store. Shane picked up on this immediately and let me shop around first by myself. If I had any questions, he was there immediately to answer them. He was, in fact, what I would call the perfect salesman. The store manager also came by to introduce himself and could not have been more pleasant. Overall, one of my better shopping experiences for furniture I’ve ever had!!

Will NEVER purchase from this chain ever again! I wasn’t expecting Lazy Boy quality but for the love of all things holy I would have made a better choice picking up a free sofa off the side of the road! There is nothing worse than low quality mixed with a horrible warranty! When things break, which they most definitely will, it will take MONTHS to get anywhere at all. Will require weeks and weeks of contacting customer service only to have the work order sent to companies that do not service your area. Followed by reps insisting the order was never created at all. Ashley’s is an absolute waste of money! Do yourself a favor and purchase from ANYWHERE else!

Furniture was nice I like the store and people at store but they sold us a terrible insurance policy and when I went for refund the communication dragged on and on with no refund as promised, months have gone by. The No credit for insurance as promised and no follow up just drives you crazy. And when I mean terrible furniture insurance I mean it. Had a tear they wouldn’t fix, had a stain on couch they took 2 months to show up and made me take off work to clean it, didn’t clean it, said they needed more supplies, then said couch look soiled and they would no clean it, despite just saying in person and they just needed supplies. Had I not been sold on insurance and had to deal with corporate Ashley and the insurance, would have been solid 4 star.

We purchased a couch and love seat. We'll start at the beginning. We took delivery of the love seat 3 weeks late then the couch came 2 weeks after that. We've had structural issues with both. They said they would replace both. We got the replacement for the love seat but the couch never came. I then called about the couch, they said there was never an order and it was "out of warranty". They referred me to the 3rd party repair company who replied saying they couldn't replace or repair anything structural.We are now stuck with a VERY uncomfortable couch and a love seat that is a different shade. This company is the biggest scam out there! This is the short story, not including the HORRIBLE communication and terrible words said to me by the management, the runaround I was given and the poor corporate customer service as well as local. If you're considering buying an ASHLEY product, please save yourself the problems and go with another company!! -10 out of 10 stars! A BBB complaint was filed and the company NEVER responded! If you would like to throw your money away, you'd be better off burning it than giving it to ASHLEY! Let me go farther to say, Ashley, you can look up my order number and I'm not spending another millisecond on the phone with your HORRID customer service! Your product is TERRIBLE and the local (Joplin) sales and customer service is not any better! As a consumer, we deserve better for the prices we're paying!

They will harass you & blow up your phone everyday I make a payment every month & if I’m a little late on the date they’ll call me & my family over & over again but won’t tell anyone whose calling when leaving a voicemail.. it’s seems illegal to harass people

Jesse who is a manager at this location is one of the worst people I have ever dealt with. Went in to by a bed and this gentleman unfortunately was the one who helped us. He didn’t know anything about their pricing or the items on sale. He kept falling asleep while standing and taking to us, almost like he was under the influence of some kind of substance/medication. We ended just walking out will never go back to this location… would not recommend to anyone not even my worst enemy.

Great customer service!

We purchased 2 recliners a little over a year ago. The other day the back on one fell backwards. We stopped sitting on it and took the back off to see what happened. The back wood frame had busted and has now made it unusable. We contacted Ashley assuming we were out of warranty, which we were but we’re told for structural frame and mechanical issues things could still be fixed possibly. After chatting further with them we were told that the back of the recliner-specifically the part of the frame that keeps the back upright when not reclined-was not in fact considered part of the frame. Only the bottom is part of the frame. It’s highly disappointing that we paid $600 EACH for these recliners and they didn’t even make it 2 years. They offered zero options on anything and when I asked if I could purchase just the back was told possibly but nothing more until I specifically asked who to contact to find out. When I asked what is considered the frame they stated the bottom. These aren’t even fully paid off yet and our options are Hope a repair shop can fix it, buy a new back, or buy a new recliner.

Very professional, great customer service and they go out of their way to help you save money and find exactly what you are looking for. I always shop at this store!

I placed a furniture order several weeks ago and was told it would be delivered June 2nd. After not hearing anything I called and was informed that my order is now back ordered and might be here in the 16th. Why didn’t someone call to let me know. Very unhappy. The gentleman that I spoke to was very hard to understand, not even a sales associate.

We ordered a sectional with ottoman and ottoman table in store back in May. We received the table, which was late, and then received the sectional which was also late. The sectional was dirty and damaged so we refused the delivery and attempted to cancel the order. I was told they could cancel the order but was still charged full delivery for all of the items. I was told they couldn’t cancel the delivery fee after part of the items were delivered. And that they could only give a small discount off of the table. I have yet to receive that discount. Overall the process with Ashley Homestore has been a nightmare.

Marcus was great and made the purchase work out and it included 5 year extended warranty. I’ve been doing business with Joplin Ashley for 2 years and I highly recommend if you’re looking for furniture I’d go there to purchase, you won’t be let down!! Christina D.

The amount of nonsense I am having to go through after receiving what look like used couches... I received what looked like a used couch and love seat. Instead of sending them back immediately, I opt to wait for a 'tech to come out, make everything look new' because I have a baby and I'm not trying to sit on my hardwood floor all day, while I wait for a second set of possibly new couches. The manager of the store tells me I'll get a call for this tech to come out and fix everything, but if he thinks they need to be replaced, they will replace them. Instead, I get a phone message asking me if I ordered 'parts' and to call back if I need parts. I have no idea what this means and assume it's a mix up. There is a language barrier with customer service and I didn't understand the message well. I call back today asking when the tech is supposed to come out and they tell me they closed the ticket because I didn't send pictures. I never knew I was supposed to. They say I received an email about it. I didn't. However, I did receive plenty of sales emails. The manager, the delivery guys who saw all the damage, called a number and had me explain to a lady the damage, on their phone, and explained the process, never mentioned I'd receive a request email, or I would have called sooner, not having received it. So, now, they have supposedly reopened my ticket and sent an email... So, how much longer will this process take? I guess we will see. What a huge disappointment on a set that looked so beautiful in the photos.

Walked the complete sales floor in Joplin 3 times looking for leather furniture and a new adjustable base and mattress on my way home from work. Absolutly NO assistance. Passed a lady sitting at a desk on her phone several times and nothing. Another man in the back doing the same. I will never return. There are other furniture stores interested in my business.

I purchase 2 full bedroom sets, and a couch, loveseat, and recliner on 2/26/23. I spent $8000. The sales man said all pieces were in stock except the couch. He told me it would be delivered 2/14/23 except the couch. The ETA for the couch was 4/5/23. I call the day before the expected delivery date to be told it would be another 2 weeks, and they were not in stock when I made the purchase. My 9 year old daughter and I will be sleeping on the floor for 2 weeks and have no living room furniture. I am highly disappointed and will not be doing business, or referring anyone to this company.

After hearing the horror stories of many friends I researched the store and company as a whole. Seems the issues are rampant and nationwide. When the furniture gets partially delivered it will be damaged. And you will not be able to return it. The stores are not allowed to deal with any issues at all after the sale. They also do not sell of the sales floor. Every single item must be ordered. They will deliver knowingly damaged items. They will deny any responsibility. They will not return or refund. They will instead keep giving lies and vague answers. But from literally anywhere else. You will not be happy. And since I don't have the order information of other humans I can't do anything with the company. But I can tell them that their customer service representatives will hang up on you if you have an issue. Even if you are not being rude. Offered discounts are not honored and they are the most unprofessional company I've ever heard of. Go look them up online. It's horrible.

Have been having issues with a headboard I purchased a year ago. Tried calling gyo get it resolved and still nothing. I have to get rid of the headboard and I am still paying for the bedroom furniture. I will never purchase from Ashley furniture again. No customer service, no resolutions provided. I would do zero stars if I could. Once paid off will close my account.

We bought 6 pieces of furniture on September 9th at the Joplin MO store. We paid $399 to have it delivered to our new home in Kansas City on October 27th. Their automation is awful. Here it is October 27th at 11:30am and we get the text saying our delivery will be here in 45 minutes. Great!!! It is now 3:37 pm and after numerous attempted phone calls , NO ONE can tell us anything. Are you kidding!! It’s 2022! You can track things in real time for heaven’s sake. This huge company can’t locate your order for delivery or contact drivers???? Will never buy from Ashley Furniture again. This was also thousands of dollars of furniture too.

If I could give a negarice star rating it would be to the Ashley Furniture Store. Horrible experience. My furniture was delivered broken on the day of delivery, a year later they picked up my furniture. The manager tried sending me new drawers and sent me a set from a different dresser. The manager told me to use the other drawers for kenneling. I have called over a hundred times in the last two year to get this resolved and still haven't received any resolution, two year later I am seeking legal counsel still have received a refund.

Anthony at Ashley did great. He was friendly and informative. I came in to look a few times for furniture. He was the first person to greet me and offer his assistance. He was patient with me needing to wait to check the measurements of the house I will be moving to, and offered me many solutions to accommodate the concerns I had. His helpfulnesses made me want to get my furniture from Ashley and have him as the person I would go through. I came back twice more to look at my options again. Once Anthony was not there. This time, with Anthony’s help, I picked the perfect couch and was even able to have it scheduled to be delivered the day after I get into my new home…. One less big thing for me to move. All around, Anthony at Ashley, is what made my experience what it was. Previous experiences there were not what I would say was a positive shopping experience. In the past, I went home and ordered my furniture online to not deal with sales reps.

Worst experience buying furniture. Took lover 2 months to get delivered and couch creeks because the frame isn't put together correctly. It also arrived damaged and didn't see until the driver left. They were quick to drop and leave and no time to inspect. Last purchase for me

Purchased a bedroom set from the Joplin Store. Went to the warehouse to pick up our products and the headboard was missing. Had to have it re-ordered, and when it was finally delivered 8 days later the hardware was missing. We contacted the store on July 5th and have yet to receive our hardware to be able to put our bed together (July 23rd) . We have a brand new bedroom set and are still being forced to sleep on the floor because noone will follow through to get the stuff we need or call us back about it. #worstcustomerserviceever

We placed an order for this power reclining sofa in December 2021 after raising a GRB claim for our old damaged sofa. We paid 650$ in addition to claim amount received by GRB. They did deliver this new power reclining sofa on December 15th 2021. During delivery the driver noted that one of power reclining seats is not working and that they will raise an incident request and get it fixed as soon as possible. Even today I.e., on March 2022 , we are still waiting for right parts to arrive and for the service team to fix the sofa. Ashley sucks at post sales support. I would never ever recommend buying anything from Ashley ever again. It hurts that these people take money and never be bothered to fix things which were delivered defective even though they are supposed to be brand new pieces. They deliver old showroom on the floor models. That’s why it was defective when delivered. And worst of all is…. Whenever you call customer service , you have to explain everything from start as though they don’t have anything about your order in their computers.

Came in to buy a furniture set for my daughter. Our salesman, Jason was very friendly, knowledgeable and it was overall a relaxing experience. No high pressure sales. We will definitely be back in to purchase more furniture from Ashley.

I had this dresser delivered a few weeks ago and have called 5 times to open a case for exchange. Called the store and they refer me back to the 1-800 number. Everytime I call the 1-800 # I have to reexplain everything like they don’t have a computer they can look up notes in. My bed and nighstands are still on backorder and I have been patient. Wish they would take care of the dresser they delivered. It makes me sick to look at everyday. One drawer will not open all the way. Top two drawers are uneven. Wood is warped and 2nd drawer from the bottom rubs when opening. Highly disappointed. I wish they would just give me my money back and pick up what they delivered. I will never do business with Ashley Homestore or and Mathis Brothers for that matter.

Purchased a new Sofa and wide chair, friendly and helpful sales clerk, she took my husband's poking fun in stride. Only issue was ... it is going to take 90 days for delivery!

The best Ashleys furniture store within a 100mile radius. I’ve purchased couches once before and now a recliner and have always had a good outcome. Highly recommend Joplin location. Also, they give you your space and simply want what you want.

EmMale greeted us when we got in the store. She offered to help, but gave us space to shop. She answered all our questions and was ready to close the sale when we were. Very good experience.

Great service at the time of sale and the price guarantee is the bomb. My sales person issued me store credit a few weeks after purchase when prices were lowed and I was able to buy some additional needed furniture without blowing my budget.

I purchased a bed,nightstand, and mattress for my 2 year old son. We’re looking for something that will last him for years to come. I’m happy with the purchase but not confident in the financing. I feel like we didn’t get the best deal after looking at the online price and financing options since we’ve made multiple purchases with our Ashley card over the years. I felt confident in going into the store but after making a cart online it doesn’t look to be that way. I’m super irritated right now and may possibly cancel my order. What a let down!! 😖😖

We were in and out within record time! We found the products we wanted with help of a sales person quickly, paid for our products and were gone. Everyone was so helpful and knowledgeable regarding the products they carry! Quality furniture for a good price!

The sales person was very helpful and knowledgeable. He took his time to explain the differences between the mattresses and allowed us time to decide on our purchases. He explained the different finance options and allowed us time to discuss our choices amongst ourselves without pressuring and was very patient with us. We never felt we needed to hurry and decide. The assembly part of the deal was the icing on the cake for us. We were very happy with our choices and feel we got a very good deal for all that we bought. Not happy with service. Ordered over 3,532.00 of bedroom suite furniture June 5 2021. After frustration on the way this has been handled received part of the bedroom suite NOT all of it and here its going into October and still have not received the rest of my order.. or any information on rest of my order!! Update gave info on order to to Ashley furniture and still no help!! They gave a estimated date of oct 26. Key word estimated, so that is no guarantee I'll receive furniture by by first week of November. I highly recommend you shop for furniture else where

On our 20th anniversary we decided to purchase our very first brand new living room set. We wanted leather. We went to the Joplin store and spent several hours talking, reviewing and deciding which set we wanted. We really wanted 100% leather but couldn't quite afford it. So we got several other options presented to us by the salesperson. The salesperson had really talked up the one that we ended up buying. Telling us that although it wasn't 100% real leather that it was very good and durable. We asked specifically about peeling issues. We had seen that a lot and DID NOT want that to happen. We were assured it was a good product. We also had a 3 year warranty on it if there were any issues with it. This was going to be a purchase that might have to last us for the next 20 years! We wanted to be sure it was the right one. We bought the full set and loved it --- at first. Then about 18 months into having it We began to see peeling! I was so disappointed to say the least 😞! I called and got the warrantynumber and called it. I also called the store. No luck! Was told it didn't cover this. It was considered "normal wear" and that if it had been animal scratches or a knife cut they would have repaired or replaced it. What??? You're kidding me? So I could have taken a knife to it or let my cat scratch it up and got a new one or repaired!? Wow. So now I am stuck! Stuck with a piece of Ashley furniture that overall is pretty comfortable and the frame is durable (except on the individual recliner which has broken numerous time) BUT it looks horrible on the outside and is an utter embarrassment and eye sore to tho se who enter or home. My family and company that comes have to pick pieces of the couch off of them almost every time it is sat on. We try to keep it covered but blankets and covers just keep coming off. We spent a lot of money to have one of the most disappointing purchases ever. We waited a LONG time to buy a nice piece of furniture. Who knows how long we will have to wait this time around 😞. Oh...and the arm on the individual recliner we bought has broken numerous times. I would love to be able to leave a better review for this product but I cannot. I will tell you...do not buy a product that is "like leather" no matter what a salesperson tells you. And the warranty? Useless. You will be very disappointed and frustrated! The salesperson was nice but the purchase is heartbreaking and this is what we have with us for years. So sad.

Purchased a bed with a 3 month wait. Found one else where. Went back for a refund. No refund 21 days ago. Moral is shop elsewhere 1st. 30%cancelation fee after 2 days, 3 days is false. Staff was nice.

Although they have a great selection of furniture, you have to be cautious dealing with Ashley Home Furniture. Stores are owned by different companies and they don't necessarily honor the warranty. In addition, the warranty company GBS is a fraud. They supposedly will replace your furniture and the brochure indicated that are damage was covered. We made a claim and they said that we had to repair the decking, we spent money repairing the decking to tell us that it was not covered (even though they told us it was). DO NOT BUY THE WARRANTY. It is a joke and waste of time. Since we were unable to use the warranty, Ashley does give you store credit but we had to drive two hours out the way because our local store didn't accept that warranty company credit. We drove up there and ordered furniture to use the credit in September. In October, I requested when the furniture would be available and was told the week of November 16. After waiting for that week, I again inquired who was told that we "owed" money even though we had paid for the furniture and the unpaid amount was the credit. After being told that the store would contact me and waiting, I contacted the store who transferred me to Corporate (after 30 minutes of waiting) who then told me I had to contact the store as they couldn't take payments over the phone. I called the store back and finally talked to a customer service representative who sent me a bill via email (they can't take payments over the phone) and immediately called back to try to set up a delivery date. There was no answer and I left a message. It has now been a week with no return call, no set up for delivery, and likely we will never receive our furniture. If you buy furniture from Ashley, GOOD Luck.

The sales team is real nice and helpful. If you want to look around for yourself, they are cool with that and they don't hound you like some car lot salesmen do. They have a great selection of furniture. We really liked the party time couch. It have electric operative recline and headrest. For my body I thought those were nice features because it most seats I can never get comfortable. That couch also had touch led cup holders. There is no public restroom here.

My family and I recently went into the Joplin store. We had great customer service throughout the whole experience. Brad answered all of our questions and was super helpful but also gave us the time we needed to make some decisions without us feeling pressured in any way. The store manager also helped us out a ton, stepping in and finishing up with us while Brad was helping another customer. Great team work and great customer service.

Shane is the man!! Had an awesome experience, considering it was the first time I had been in the store. He walked with me through the store and answered all of my questions, even the stupid ones. Highly recommend!

*Edited* We had set up a time for 1 piece of our furniture that was in stock to be delivered. Was told that we needed to be home, and the area cleaned for set up. Nobody came, or called to say they weren't coming. Was given another date, 3 weeks out. Nobody came, or called to say they weren't coming. Called again. Being told now, another 3-6 weeks. Enjoyed looking at all the furniture. Tons to select from. Salesman gave us space to look, but was always quick to assist when we had questions.

Update to the update... even delayed over another month now, no apologies, no concern. Update, well, unfortunately, I spoke too soon. Terrible communication, they sent a rug through FedEx that we did not order and we had to store it in our home for 2 weeks until they had time to come by and pick it up do they wouldn't charge us 🙄 Our couch is now delayed over a month and absolutely no apologies about it, extremely unsympathetic. Lowering the rating, extremely disappointed, out over a thousand dollars, absolutely nothing to show for it and no one that cares at the store. We honestly had a bad experience with Ashley's many years ago in another state, after moving to Joplin, we decided to give them another shot. So, I was whole heartedly impressed, this experience was already ten times better, patient, helpful and best delivery time windows in the area. They were not pushy, let us think without pressure, and we found a wonderful deal on pieces we weren't expecting to. We haven't gotten our furniture yet, but we are very hopefully optimistic! My only reason for not a full 5 stars, is that I haven't gotten the furniture yet, but I'm very hopeful it will go well and then I will update this review to 5!

I was greeted in a friendly manner. The salesperson was helpful and knowledgeable about the product I was looking for. I was able to order exactly what I wanted in a very efficient manner. The salesperson was clear on when I can expect the product and I look forward to doing more business with this store in the future.

My salesman was very helpful and polite. He carried cushions around to help me decide on colors that would match the sectional I was purchasing. The selection in the store was very good and he was honest with me when I asked about delivery time. All in all it was a very pleasant experience.
