They had what we wanted.

This place is a joke. I placed an order that kept being delayed (by months). When I called to cancel and get my money back, the customer service rep said they "I cant reach the cancelation department, but I will note your account and they will call you back." I called and had my account noted 3 more times over a week before going into the store. A salesman immediatly approached me but tried to wash his hand of me by offering me the same number I had been calling. After trying to explain I cant get ahold of anyone at the number he walked away because "I told you I cant help you. You need to call the number." When I asked to speak to a manager. One salesman said there wasn't a manager at the store and the other said "his door is shut so hes in a conference meeting." Still no resolution. I've had my account noted 4 times now but they still havent canceled my order or refunded my money. Poor customer service and lies after they get your money. Take your money elsewhere.

John Clark listened to me, helped find the item I wanted, adjusted the price to match internet price and I got just what I wanted in 10 minutes.

Never will I buy Ashley furniture of any kind. You can't even speak to an in store person. The local store number rolls over to India. I don't want to talk to some foreigner about my loveseat or recliner.

It was a horrible experience, sales people do not know what they are doing or how to complete paperwork correctly. There is also no integrity there is only I am sorry or you hear the blame game! We bought a Loveseat paperwork was not completed right.we found out latter from delays on our delivery. We were to get our Loveseat 3 days latter on Saturday it never showed up. They cancelled the delivery and never informed us,so it took another week. Sales people only are concerned with making the sale but forget customer service! Will not buy from them again

One. How are they an Aplus rated business with so many complaints.? How is it none of these issues actually get a resolution? My parents (76 years old at time of purchase) bought an electric reclining love seat. The day it was delivered it was not working - the charger was overheating. They couldn't return it. Said once it left the store Ashley's wouldn't take it back. They came out five weeks later to fix it. Then a few months ago one of the recliners got a tear in it. Mom and dad purchased the extended warranty for 450 for five years coverage. They filed a claim and no review. Just denial. They were told at the time of sale the coverage was for any reason. But now they say no wear and tear. No coverage for delivery issues. What's the coverage for then? If the fabric wasn't made to hold up for five years of normal wear why are you selling a warranty for anything? It's not like they have pets damaging the material. I will never shop at Ashley's and actively discourage anyone from shopping there. They are unethical in dealing with seniors. Not giving them time to read or explaining what they are buying.

Absolutely the worst furniture buying experience I've ever had! In store, they were friendly and got done what we needed. Days went by after our order was supposed to arrive at the warehouse and we were never contacted. We finally got a hold of them and they let us know some of it was on back order and was going to take a couple more weeks to receive. When that day came and went, we had to get a hold of them again and they confirmed that our order was ready to be picked up. My husband made a trip to the warehouse on Saturday morning to pick up the bed and came home with what we thought was our bed, just to unbox the footboard and realize it was not what we had ordered and the numbers on the box didn't even match our order numbers. (The warehouse had made the mistake and loaded the wrong items) We tried to take the footboard back after talking to customer service and being promised it was there, and -shockingly- it wasn't! Warehouse wouldn't accept it, so my husband had to go to the store and they took the footboard from us and got the correct one on order and said they would have it expedited to our house. That has been almost 2 months ago and every time the alleged delivery date comes up, the footboard never shows up and we have to call and wait on hold forever to get a hold of somebody just for them to tell us that the date has changed. We purchased this set in NOVEMBER 2025 and 3 months later- we still don't have the correct footboard to make our bed complete and we have boxes of half-built headboards and bed rails in our spare bedroom while the mattress & box springs just sit on the floor waiting to be used. I've called multiple times and talked to multiple people and cannot receive a refund or a matching footboard for the bed set. Thankfully this was just a simple spare bedroom set and not the master! I'm considering dropping all of this crappy furniture off in their beautiful showroom and cutting my losses. Buyer beware, this is not the company to go with!

We went in with the intent to purchase a couch after having a terrible experience elsewhere. Louis was our salesman. He was so helpful, took great care of us, and we left the proud owners of a beautiful living room and also a mattress!! Best experience furniture shopping ever! Highly recommend!!!

Terrible experience. The sales team was great but we had a delivery to scheduled at our new home. After taking off work and driving 2 1/2 hours both ways they told me they couldn't deliver that day. When calling in to inquire what's going on you can't get the local store to answer their phone and the customer service goes to a 1-800 call center overseas. I have requested multiple times today to speak to someone local or a call back with nothing.

On January 11, 2026. I went to Ashley Furniture store in Springfield to purchase a mattress. The salesman By the name of Louis Taylor, helped me on the purchase. The whole process took about 20 minutes, which it was great. I asked For the Delivery to be on Thursday, January 15th His answer was no Problem, you will have it by then. He told me that I will be getting an email and a phone call later on the week to confirm the Delivery , Wednesday came about and I called to inquire about the Delivery and they told me that The delivery was canceled without notifying me either way No phone call no email. So I called him, and he said that it could be deliver the following Thursday and that didn’t take place either. So, when they did deliver the mattress, they delivered the wrong item, much much less of a quality item that I purchased So I called Louis, and I told him that the wrong item was delivered. It went on four weeks. I had to go to the Store four times, and on the fourth time I went and asked to see Louis Taylor . Another employee said he was with a customer and could not help me at the moment. My answer said I will wait for him. I asked for a manager first and they said no Manager was available, then when the employee saw that I was not going to go anywhere, but to speak to someone all the sudden a lady Manager appears out from the Sky. One, She didn’t introduce herself by name. She didn’t address to me by name nor she was hospitable or friendly. She got on the phone with her laptop to try to get it delivered as soon as possible. So when she was done, she said you will have it Thursday. No one apology. First of all she didn’t introduce herself or greeted me and address to me with respect and politeness . I said to her no one apology, or an explanation? . You guys are unbelievable, and I just said WOW, and I walked out that night. I was not going to do the review until I got THE MATTRESS I BOUGHT, Louis Taylor didn’t have the courage nor the balls to face me and look at me face-to-face because of all the screw up from Ashley Furniture stores and that lady to be Frankly she is a B+++++ C++++++.

I have bought several sets of furniture from them. The loveseat on my last set started having issues with the recliners and now the couch. They are 2 years old. The mechanisms are covered however parts wont show up. They said they would trade out now they want to send parts. I going to have to replace my furniture because its sat broken to where the cushions and all are warped, and ashley furniture wont stand by their words and trade out like they said.

Delivery drivers left all of the packing material AND DIDNT PUT ON ALL THE LEGS, despite what they were told to do. Then, when when I spoke to the supervisor, they lied and said they were told to leave it that way. Salesman wouldn't take my calls after this took place. I won't be shopping at this store in the future and I won't be accepting deliveries from Ashley again.

Bought a TV stand with electric fireplace online, it was delivered with the cabinet broken on the inside wall. Bad construction. I contacted Ashley Furniture. I even tried returning it to the store after failed delivery of a replacement. Been emailing, calling and even have a business ard from store employee. They refuse a refund & return now. Say it's past their 72 return policy time. Of course it's past, I've been fighting with them for 4 months !!!!!!

Delivery was on time and the guys were great and very nice! Ashley’s is one of my favorite furniture stores!

Purchased a Recliner, Loveseat, and couch, Love seat was missing the ends of the seat (factory sealed) and a bunch of stitches are coming out, after calling several times to get help we are now waiting for parts to come in the mail.. said it would take up to 5 weeks.... and then they would send someone out to look at stitching... we spent right at $6000 for set.... (on sale).. wait 5 weeks for the parts that should have been with it to begin with. I understand missing parts... but dont make someone call in 6 times before someone talks to you. I have left several messages with my salesman and no call backs.

I ordered a sectional and chair on January 17th. I was told they would be delivered within 2-3 weeks. When checking on my order, I was told it wouldn’t be available until April 9th. When I tried to cancel the order, the company wanted me to go pick something else out instead of refunding my money. I finally got it canceled and am now waiting on my refund… DO NOT purchase unless you can take it with you or they can guarantee their delivery time frame.

We purchased a beautiful sectional last week. We were leery to order from Ashley due to my sister's multiple previous issues with ordering furniture from Ashley. However, we found one we loved and at first our salesman, Ben, said it would only be a week to receive. His words " oh I can get it to you in a week" Great! Sold! When it came time to do the paperwork and purchased, I asked again and verified a week on delivery and he said closer to two weeks, expect the first week in February. Ok that is fine. He said he would call us last Friday 1/23 to confirm shipping. We had new hardwood floors put in and gave our couches away to someone who needed them. We never heard from him so we called customer service today. He told us our delivery date is March 24th. He said it was a 8 week delivery time frame upon order. That is INSANE and not what we were told by Ben. He was great in store, nice, confident, and patient while we made our decisions. Communication, honesty, and follow through is not what we received from purchasing from this store AFTER we left. We are beyond frustrated at the lack of transparency. Customer service is escalating the claim to hopefully receive sooner but 2 weeks and 8 weeks are not even close! We are beyond frustrated.

⭐ 1 Star – Dishonest Sales, False Claims, and Zero Customer Service I had an absolutely terrible experience with the Ashley Furniture store in Springfield, MO, and I would never recommend this company to anyone. I was extremely clear with the salesman, Sam, about what I wanted. I specifically stated three separate times that I wanted: Solid wood only NO particle board Full-extension, telescoping drawer guides for smooth open and close on all drawers Each time, Sam confirmed and assured me that this was exactly what we were ordering. Two weeks later, my dressers and nightstands arrive — and they are the complete opposite of what I ordered. They are clearly not solid wood, do not have full-extension drawer slides, and feel cheap and poorly made. To make matters worse, Ashley Furniture claims they manufacture their furniture in the USA, yet there are large stickers on the back clearly stating “Manufactured in Malaysia.” That alone feels misleading at best and dishonest at worst. Since then, I have spent five days in a row calling and getting nothing but the runaround. The local store refuses to let me speak to a manager They push me to a customer service number that never answers No one takes ownership No one resolves anything This ordeal has now wasted over three weeks of my time, and I am left with no dressers or nightstands for my bedroom. This is one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. Misrepresentation, broken promises, and total lack of accountability. Shame on you, Ashley Furniture.

We spent Just short of $2500.00 on a leather couch. at the Springfield, Missouri store on Independence Ave. (Well, We were told it was leather). We'll let you be the judge........(See photos) Their "Leather" furniture consists of a MICRO thin layer of (possibly leather?) over fabric. A short time later, this is what we have after providing regular leather care and very light use. All we were told was that "There is a one year warranty on our product." In my opinion, Ashley Furniture is not in the furniture business as much as in the "Ripping their customers off" business. This Couch is SO BAD that we tried donating it to two shelters and they refused it There is a better chance that I would spend 24 hours in a dark room full of rattlesnakes than I would EVER purchase from this company again.

Louis, and Jason were phenomenal when it came to helping me get the couch I wanted they went above and beyond to help me get what I wanted and at a reasonable price! I definitely recommend taking your business to Ashley's for getting furniture. Thank you guys for making this experience nonstressful and easy!

Been waiting on a refund since October 2025 they refunded some but not the full amount always same excuses we have to create a case there has got to be 50 cases on the return items and 1 to 2 billing cycles i am done talking to these agents that all say the same thing. This is very poor business. Think it needs to be reported to BBB and the Attorney Generals office. I will never buy anything from this place again. Be careful. They are also trying to not give the full refund. They have lied to me and just keep putting the rest of my refund off. I am so stressed out I have been having chest pains and my blood pressure is way up. Don't trust them.

Go see Mitch super nice guy!! When we first went in no sales person would help us so after about a 1/2 hour we left and came back an hour later. Still everyone stared us down but no help. Then here came Mitch and worked with us through the process of buying our new couch and loveseat!! Thanks Mitch!!

Sam was really great. I only have one complaint. We were not informed that we would have to assemble the chairs we purchased. This was a bit of a surprise when we picked them up. My husband was able to put them together but warning customers ahead of time is important.

Good experience in store. Nice selection ...made one purchase of a bed frame but had to buy living room set online as they couldn't match prices...but overall great experience nothing like feeling and sitting in furniture

Purchased a sectional, dining room table, and bedroom set from the home store. Furniture was great and performed well. Attempted to use the 5 year platinum warranty we paid extra for but due to the store coding our warranty for our Furniture as outdoor unable to do so. Still no resolution or refund from Ashley ona $949.99 warranty that is useless.

I had A pleasant experience while in the store placing my order. I purchased a table and four chairs. I was told at the time of purchase the table and three chairs would be delivered to me on January 2, which was great because I was off work, and the fourth chair would be delivered to me on January 6. On January 3, I received a call five minutes prior to the delivery, while I was at work, and informed they were delivering my table. The delivery person informed me that he did not work for Ashley and could not help me With the remaining portion of my order. I have not received a notification of delivery for tomorrow January 6 so I called Customer support and was informed that my four chairs will be delivered on January 15th. I’m not sure what the miscommunication is when I purchased the table and chairs, I was told they had three chairs in stock. The communication is horrible. Response: I appreciate your response but why are you putting this back on me? I’ve already spent more time than I’ve wanted on the phone trying to fix this. It’s your job to fix it, not mine. Again, your store employees were great. They had no problem signing me up and taking my money, but after that, this has been one of the worst experiences I’ve had purchasing an item.

The couch we'll ordered was out until March so we went back for another couch....found one, then found it for $600 cheaper...they wouldnt honor it exactly. Manager managed to bring the price up to almost the selling price. Needless to say we walked out..boo Ashley..nobody was a winner today

My daughter went in to the store on independence in Springfield Missouri and there was a very inappropriate salesman. I have tried to get in touch with that store but am told it’s against policy to give out the direct number. Told my daughter it was a good thing he was at work because he had some non pg-13 things to say to her. I would like to think this is not how you guys want your business ran. But wanted to bring it to your attention that this is your front man at that location. Do better!!!

My wife and I have been shopping for weeks to furnish a new home we are building on Table Rock and have been to soo many furniture shops. We stopped into Ashley Home Store today for the first time to look at a sectional we saw online and were greeted by Greg Kraatz who was AMAZING. What was supposed to be just a quick pop in turned into an almost a 5 hour visit where Greg helped furnish our entire home and we just kept adding items to our order. We ended up canceling a few orders at other stores because Greg and the Ashley team were so amazing to work with and the deal the gave us was too good to pass on. Thanks Greg for the awesome customer service and the time you spent with us today and listening to what we were looking for. You never showed us anything we didnt want and you always made sure you were working inside our budget. 5 stars.

I actually enjoyed buying furniture! Jamey was very pleasant, showed me many options, measured everything for me, and there was no pressure to buy. I came for a couch and ended up getting a dining room set, too! Can’t wait to get them next week!

Sam Moore was very courteous and helpful in helping us choose the furniture I wanted, as well as describing all the features of the recliner I was looking for. As well as explaining the charges and how the protection works.

Our sales person was Louis. He greeted us as soon as we came in. We told him what we were looking for, he listened and showed us several pieces, answered our questions and we found exactly what we wanted. Took less than an hour and we were on our way home. Now waiting for delivery. Thank you Louis! We have bought several pieces of furniture from this Ashley store and have never been disappointed.

Excellent selection and knowledgeable sales staff. The biggest challenge is getting a clear picture of sales start and end dates "we'll honor this price through the end of the month" becomes "we'll honor this price to the end of this month IF you buy a $200 protection package." Didn't get any savings, but got a decent couch. Also, minus 1 star for the delivery AI that keeps threatening to cancel delivery no matter how many times I confirm that we will be there.

We’ve used Ashley before and had a great experience. This time, however, was NOT great. We found a dining table in their showroom in Springfield that was exactly what I wanted and it was right in the front. They then told us that there were none available anywhere and we’d have to wait for it to be manufactured.. you should have a couple ready within the US if you’re going to have those tables right in the front of the showroom. So we missed having our new table for the holidays and it took a month and a half for it to come in. Then they gave us a delivery window of 9:15-12:15 and showed up on our doorstep by 8:40. BE WITHIN THE WINDOW! My husband had to run to the pharmacy just down the road and would have had time to be back if they arrived within their FOUR HOUR WINDOW. Then, we hadn’t had a chance to move our other dining table since it was the day after Christmas, Dec.26th. Our daughter told them to just put it together behind the couch, there was room, and we’d move it over later. They did not. They left all the parts and just propped the dining table against the back of my leather couch, which I’m praying isn’t damaged in the process. This entire process from start to finish was awful. If I didn’t like the table so much, I would’ve just canceled prior to the delivery. I’m super disappointed with Ashley and this entire experience from start to finish.

DO NOT BUY Ashley warrenty: bought some expensive furniture zero gravity and puncture resistant. Supposed to be able to hold up to 1000 lbs. No way!!!! One broke in less than a year. Had to order parts they shipped to house. Sat there forever bc you can't schedule appt until your part has arrived then it's weeks out from there. We have 2 other ones broken currently and it's been less than 1 yr 4 months- it's the recliner metal under is VERY weak( metal under that extends recliner). So would not recommend for anyone. We baby this furniture and it is broken. My parents ordered the same furniture shortly after us and Ashley furniture keeps ordering them the wrong parts and it's been MONTHS! As of 2-19-26 parents furniture also still broken and can't use. Parents are disabled and I'm standing there while Ashley furniture is giving them the run around. Disappointed and would recommend going elsewhere. So I'm gonna have furniture that is constantly getting fixed I fear and after the warranty I'm out of luck I guess? Warrenty after 1 yr you call a number and file claim. Then they send a text and email you have to send photos. Bc the love seat and sofa are similar they wanted me to resubmit photos. Then we were sent to schedule a video call from warrenty. If you cancel it says you have to start process over. Video call pics are taken etc. They said on video they don't show the loveseat so not sure what happened there? Then you wait for them to decide. So far not an easy process as the pics had to be sent within 24 hr or process starts over. Watch your messages closely. So I'm over 1.5 months out and still not fixed. Ashley warrenty does not call you like they say they will to schedule appointment. *The solutions email below I did contact and still has not been resolved. *2-19-26 called ahm furniture and they state they cannot make appointment bc Ashley warrenty closed the case(which they have not fixed). Call Ashley warrenty( Alex) and they can't now find the claim! Supposed to call back within hr? Meanwhile another recliner is broken but you can't have more than 1 claim out at a time sooo maybe in a year we start next claim? *Got a call back within hour. *Text to set up appointment many weeks out but guess what 1 day as an option and you need to be available from 8am to 8pm( they are assuming we don't have lives and that date better work for you). Definitely don't tell you that in the warranty.

They sold me the wrong bed for the base I have and then it was an act of congress to fix the problem. They pass you around and 1 month later I have 1/2 a bed. Horrible customer service!

We bought sectional with 3 power recliners in February 2025 and was set up in home by their staff. It looked like the wrong color but they swore it was the right color and it seemed such a hassle to send it back so we kept it. By September two of recliners are making rough noises when reclining and appear to be leaning to one side. I have listened to my husband repeatedly-- I mean at least 20 or 30 times-- call their AI customer service and then whoever else they want us to talk to. I have watched my disabled husband crawl on the floor to take video at least 2 times because their company they contracted for repairs couldn't find the other videos previously sent. They finally shipped parts to our home. We waited for more weeks before a tech arrived only to say the wrong parts were sent to us. It's been another month and today they tell us more parts are on the way. I will believe it when I see it. It's December. Staff are sometimes rude and unhelpful and arguing about which claim number we are using and we didn't send pics. All this could be avoided if they use a tech to assess damage, order the part, and repair the part. I will shop at a second hand store before I buy new furniture with a so-called warranty again.

Great experience. Sales guy took us through the features and benefits of our Sofa and love seat and was will to warehouse it until our floors were completed, which took more time than expected. Also it's a great product. 5stars

Everyone nice and welcoming! Leah was so helpful and pleasant to deal with! I will go back! Haven't had my delivery yet so can't give yoy pics but, if the delivery people are as courteous as the Sales team, they'll get 5 stars as well!

First, I don’t care for the way that the chair I really wanted was an online only item. I want to know that it feels comfortable to sit in and I like the true colors before purchasing. I found another chair that I liked enough, and it was off in someone’s office (apparently it was an old floor model). When I decided I would settle for that accent chair, they worked with me to price match and get it delivered to my home for free.

The salesman listened and understood our wants. We appreciated his time and the information he provided that made the sale seem flawless. Thank you.

Bought a sectional we were excited to receive. One of the selling points is that the warranty, if unused at its expiration in 5 years, would be reimbursed in store credit. We waived the $300 delivery fee and chose to pick it up ourselves...go it home and took the first section out of the box to find the wooden plywood frame is completely broken through. This is when we discovered you arent able to call the store where you purchase the furniture....the listed 417 number routes to a customer call center staffed by people who are struggling with English as a second language and arent empowered to assist in any capacity. Their advice - file a warranty claim. A couple problems 1 - Filing the warranty claim negates the cash benefit of the warranty package we purchased and 2 - will take "between 30 and 45 days" to get a tech onsite...that doesnt include repairing or replacing the piece we received broken. In the interim, we've sold our old furniture and are left with unusable broken pieces in our living room during Christmas when we were expecting to host family. Can we return to the place we picked it up for an exchange? Of course not - what a stupid idea, they arent enabled to accept returns, only fulfill new orders. Can't express our anger enough. Edit: nearly 4 weeks after filing our claim - still no response from Ashley furniture - we have called to follow up and been told our claim is being processed and should hear back shortly. The phone number provided in the response from Ashley is the call center and is the same waste of time cycle we've already spent too much time in. Selling us an un-usable product and then refusing to take any effort to resolve is absolutely and wholly unacceptable.

Not only did the delivery team just basically dump the new chair in the living room, I don’t think they even plugged it in to make sure it worked. They left the old chair in place after being directed to put the new chair in its place. They’ve left my mom with a broken electric lift chair and no good way to get rid of it. Other furniture stores I’ve dealt with have no issues with taking the old furniture. Horrible customer service and will never buy from them again. If I could give a negative review, I would. Update: After calling the number provided in their reply, there absolutely is NO resolution. They told me they would call me today (12/9/25) and I had to call in. Ashley will not take the old recliner, even through they said they would and had classified it as an exchange. They changed that after they gave my mother a gift card to a new sale and that’s the abyssal excuse they’re using as to why they won’t take the old chair. Basically, don’t believe a thing this company tells you, all they’re interested in is your money and after that, they’ll lie and string you along. The delivery team is supposed to call me tomorrow, but based on their actions from the 8th, I highly doubt they call since I’m the one that had to make the call. This store or company is the absolute worst to deal with and I really think I’d get better customer service from a third hand store that sold trashed out furniture from a dumpster.

We have been shopping for new living room furniture for almost a year! Went in to Ashley's and Chris Cox helped us. Very professional! Not pushy and answered all of our questions. He helped get the best price for what we were looking for. Not only will we be back to Ashley's for a future mattress purchases, Chris Cox will be the guy we ask for.

Came for the “biggest sale of the year” but only left with a bad taste in my mouth. The biggest part of the sale seemed to be no interest on financing for X amount of days but this was useless as we wanted to pay in full. John gave us time to browse and we found a bed we loved, but not for the price ($1600). John checked in and we told him we wanted to stay closer to $12-1300. He asks 12 or 13 & I say 12. John told us he could do that but then back tracks & says he needs to see if that’s something he can do. We walk back over to the bed and John points to some icon on the price tag and says that icon prevents certain discounts he could do. He tells us there’s something else he could look at but wants us to be sure before he “jumps through hoops.” We half agree and he takes us to a computer. After collecting some info and clicking around we’re at $2000+ with white glove delivery and 5 year protection. HUH? All things we did not ask for and he failed to mention the 1 year warranty, 3 year protection option OR the alternative delivery option. My husband and I chatter back and forth about dropping some of these things but it’s still sitting around $1600. John shows us that he gave us a $250 discount to get us closer to $1350 (not $1200) and waits. We decide to check out the other stores nearby and see if we can find something similar. In this time I found that you can get it online for $1500 when you pay in full but you HAVE to have it delivered, no pick up option. So we go back & this time John is clearly annoyed. He pulls up the numbers but without any of the frills, just the bed & his discount. $1450. Closer. We ask about the online price & John asks us why we came back then. Two reasons: 1. We didn’t want to pay for delivery and 2. We obviously liked the $250 off that he offered. We asked if he was able to do the $250 off of the online price, but he cheesed ear to ear & told my husband “no can do brother.” Even though I was the one who asked the question. We thanked him for his time and left. I’ll admit I don’t receive being told no well, but John initially saying “I can do that” when we stated $1200 was our budget and then not delivering was frustrating all on its own. Next time I’ll man up & ask for a different salesman that doesn’t over promise. UPDATE: I returned a week later and was met with much better assistance from Dante. Did not over promise. Clear communication and options. Dante was excellent to work with & I’m glad he was able to secure the bed frame that I loved!

We went to Ashley looking for a regular couch to replace our dual recliner but we haven’t had to buy any furniture for about 10 years, so we were a little nervous about upselling and pressure. We went on Black Friday because of the sales and to our surprise we were not swarmed when we entered the building. Yussi casually came up and exchanged pleasantries with us asking if we needed any help. I showed her the couch we wanted to see (and others like it) and she took us right to it as well as two others like it. She knew we didn’t want a light colored couch so she showed us the other colors they came in so we could narrow it down. We decided on one and she set up the delivery for us and offered financing and another product (reasonably so after listening to my Nana) but did so without pressure. Yussi talked to us for a while and listened to my Nana’s stories and shared some of her stories with us as well. My Nana walked out of there happy with the service and she told me “she was so nice” at least 3 different times last night. Everyone we interacted with there (Greg(?) in mattresses and Amber(?) who reviewed our order) was nice and not too sales-y while working a sales job! TLDR: they’re so nice and not pushy. We didn’t feel obligated to buy the whole store or anything aside from the item we went in for, and the sales price was too hard to beat elsewhere!!

Called the Springfield store to inquire about shipping and delivery since we live in a remote area. Store associate Yussi was amazing. Not only did she reassure everything could be delivered, she placed the order on her end, re-adjusted the price to reflect the online Black Friday sale price and scheduled a convenient delivery date. All this done in a warm, friendly, yet professional manner. This is how customer service should be modeled after! Thank you for being so kind. Ask for Yussi. You won’t be disappointed!

I recently worked with Jordan T. when purchasing a new couch, and he was excellent to deal with, professional, helpful, and made the buying process smooth. The pickup at the warehouse over the weekend was quick and easy, and the couch itself seems well-made and good quality. The price was on the higher side, but it wasn’t a deal-breaker since I really needed the piece. Unfortunately, assembly completely ruined the experience for me. The sections simply slide together with no real locking mechanism, so there’s nothing holding them securely in place. While moving the couch into position, it came apart just from scooting it across the floor. Overall: outstanding salesman, seamless pickup, solid product quality, but the assembly design is frustrating and poorly thought out.

Gives no personal space to look without a salesman. Very high pressured. Keep the store so hot the salesman had beads of sweat dripping down his face while he followed me around the store after specifically asking for room to browse on my own. I felt like I was in a very corny horror movie with all the greedy smiles ready to latch onto my wallet. I loved the kitchen tables but won't even consider it after that experience. Do better Edited to add : after leaving the store and visiting the website without entering my information in - I still got emails about going back to finish my purchase. Admitting to watching what I'm doing is not a way to get me to buy from you. I got my couch next door

I was in the store yesterday and had my mind set on buying a new couch. At first the sales person was really nice and explained everything well, until I told him I was going to use my credit card. I have an Ashley card for a reason. He treated me and my husband as if we couldn’t afford the couch we were looking at and started making comments like “do you even have enough limit on your card to buy this couch?”. I have never been treated that way in a furniture store before and it was super insulting! I stopped listening to what he was saying at that point and my husband and I got up and left. The whole experience was really disappointing and I will never be back. I actually went to a different furniture store today and bought my couch.

If I could give negative stars I would. This place is absolutely horrible. Bought an 8 person dining set and paid for white glove delivery service. Minutes after they left I noticed stains on most of the chairs, none of my chairs were put together correctly, and there’s a scratch on the table. The store says not their problem and I have been referred to a dozen different departments all claiming it’s not their issue. This place is a joke. You buy junk from them and then do not care at all to assist you after you give them money. Update: even more of a joke. The response left from The “store” doesn’t help and continues to direct you to a few other numbers where you just spend more time going In circles over and over again

Super relaxed atmosphere no pressure and easy to buy.

This isn’t a reflection of the product but of the pick up system. They sent a text telling me our item was ready for pick up and requested I respond when I’m 30 minutes away from picking it up. I did that and drove the 30 minutes it takes to get to their warehouse. They texted back that they were preparing the order for pick up. When we arrived, the business was closed and had been closed for two hours. I understand there is an automated text system but the least they could do is include the hours of operation. There was no notification of the hours or when to pick up by. The automated texts need to reflect business hours.

John was cheerful and helpful with my purchase and the remodel of the store looks great!

Recently purchased a bed here. Jamey was SO incredibly helpful and personable. Jake was easy to work with and didn’t Hoover over us while my husband tried to find the perfect couch for us. The in house financing is so easy and altho they were remodeling they had a great selection.

My initial buying experience was smooth and pleasant. The salesperson I worked with was friendly, professional, and helpful. Unfortunately, the positive experience ended there. The real issue began when I received furniture that was significantly damaged. All post-purchase support has to go through an out-of-area customer service center, and that’s where things took a frustrating turn. The representatives I spoke with were consistently rude and unhelpful, continuously put me on long holds throughout the call, and several representatives told me that they'd have to call me back to continue the exchange process but never did...this all made resolving anything feel nearly impossible, and my original desire to exchange turned into a desire to return. In an effort to get better assistance, I went back to the store in person, only to be told that they couldn’t help with anything and that all issues still had to go through the same unhelpful service center. Essentially, I am stuck with a rather expensive piece of furniture that has broken drawers, a daunting amount of missing hardware, and looks like whoever owned it first (this had clearly been a return) was quite hard on it overall. To be fair, the furniture itself is of decent quality. However, potential buyers should know: if you encounter any problems after your purchase, don’t expect support. Unfortunately, customer service after the sale is where this business really falls short. UPDATE: I've called the Customer Service line suggested - the bed is now backordered. There is no definitive timeframe that I will receive it, but I am unable to return it so that I can replace it with another bed- absolutely no returns regardless of circumstances. I offered to pay the difference for a Queen size if that's available - not an option. I asked for any solution - there isn't one outside of waiting an unknown amount of time. I asked for a Supervisor - unavailable, indefinitely. Please just beware. I'm so disappointed.

In store was GREAT and easy to work with. However we purchased a mattress first from them with a warranty mind you paying extra for the warranty only to find out they wouldn't stand behind their warranty!! Then in 2023 we purchased a couch n love seat from them again paying for a 5 year warranty. The love seat is broke I've been dealing with them now for a week only to be told yet again they won't stand behind that 5 year warranty!!! Why charge me extra if you're not going to up hold your end!??

We visited Ashley Furniture on October 12, 2025, to look for a new sectional and recliner. After browsing the store, we found the Acklen Place Next-Gen Nuvella™ Performance Fabric Dual Power Reclining Modular Sectional and matching Recliner in navy blue. Our sales associate, Yussi Lazim, was friendly and helpful at first. After discussing prices and explaining that we wanted to stay around $2,500, she brought over her manager. He offered both pieces for $2,700, excluding taxes and delivery. Yussi explained that to receive this discount, we would need to use Ashley’s financing. She asked if we wanted to get pre-qualified, and after entering my information, I was approved for $16,000 in financing. I asked what the monthly payment would be, and she initially quoted around $700 per month for 6 months, which I said was too high. After some adjustments on her iPad, she said she could do $88 per month for 16 months. We told her we needed to go home and measure our space before committing. She asked what she could do to earn our business that day, but we reiterated that we needed to confirm the fit first. Yussi gave us her business card and said she would email the measurements of the sectional. Unfortunately, we never received that email. Within an hr, we returned to the store to ask about insurance and the delivery fee. Yussi explained that we could choose a 3- or 5-year protection plan, and if we didn’t use it, we’d “get our money back.” When we asked if the plan covered pet damage (like a dog chewing a cushion), she said no, but added, “just don’t tell them it was the dog and they’ll cover it.” ⚠️ Red flag #1: Advising customers to lie to the insurance company. We continued asking about the insurance, and this time she said we’d receive store credit, not a refund, if it wasn’t used. ⚠️ Red flag #2: Conflicting information about insurance benefits. Next, we discussed delivery. She quoted two prices — one for drop-off at the front door and another for full “white glove service.” I asked if she could include delivery for free if we moved forward with the $2,700 total and $88/month financing she had previously quoted. That’s when things changed. Yussi told us that $88/month would actually be over 60 months, not 16, and that the total cost would be $5,288, not $2,700. I asked for a manager, as this was not what she had told us before. The manager came over and said Yussi must have “made a mistake” — claiming that because she “has a lisp,” I must have misunderstood her. I explained that we clearly heard 16 months, not 60. Even after that, he said we couldn’t have the $2,700 price with $88/month financing, because that would “remove the discounts.” At that point, the entire experience felt dishonest — like dealing with a used car dealership rather than a reputable furniture store. We were misled about pricing, financing terms, and insurance coverage. When a company quotes a price and payment plan, then later changes the terms, that’s misleading and unethical. Based on this experience, I will not do business with Ashley Furniture again and will warn others to be cautious if they choose to shop there.

Furniture we got was amazing no issues the movers were kinda sketchy one of the night stands had a chip on it and I noticed they put some kind of solution on it to blend it in I told them to return the nightstands and the movers wanted to argue other than that it was great

The furniture is okay so far. 1. Told one price on couch and changed multiple times, and then different amount on credit card. 2. I requested to pay in cash, but somehow got signed up for an Ashley credit card. 3. The salesman had to consult multiple other “bosses “, each time I got more confused and later realized that I didn’t know what happened. LIKE A GREAT DEAL ON A CAR THATS A LEMON. 4. Don’t try & call store in Springfield, all calls go to a call center. You have to go through multiple people to talk to anyone, and they have to call back. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!

We needed all new furniture. We picked the pieces off your website. Went in. They were perfect. THEN, we asked for delivery prices. OMG. THEN we asked for warranty prices. THEN, we went next door and bought a $5000 la-Z-Boy. It was the same price because delivery is free and they warranty their furniture for free. Don’t know if this is a local or nationwide issue.

Lucas was very helpful good salesman even when he had other customers the only SU Ihad was buying the set on Thursday before Labor Day, it sit on the floor all weekend, which I didn’t mind if they would’ve marked sold on them so everybody wouldn’t have set on them and use the remotes I ask about three people when I was in there at different times please, mark sold on them so everyone wouldn’t be sitting on them. They told me they would remove them from the floor Thursday. which never happened until Monday and it was Labor Day weekend iwent a head picked up the two recliners so they wouldn’t be sit in any longer they were supposed to deliver all

I went to the store on 08/18/25 and picked out a rug that we liked and went to use a store credit for not using the insurance on a previous purchase and had to pay some cash as well. I was told it would be delivered in 4 to 5 business days. Here it is 3 weeks later and I haven't received anything from them not even the receipt which was supposed to be emailed to me so I call customer service and they tell me it's scheduled for delivery in the year 2029. They then tell me they don't know what's going on and can't or won't tell me anything except that I can cancel the order. If this is how they handle a small order I would hate to see how they would a whole house of furniture.

First of all, I still cant believe how crooked the managers are at Ashley Furniture in Springfield. First they added a $950 Protection Plan without my consent, charged $459 delivery maybe 8 miles from store. I ordered living room furniture which was delivered without a problem. But no lamp. I called was informed it would come by mail and I would have to put it together. I tried to cancel the lamp as it was more than we wanted to put together. When We get it there is a chip in the side when i get it. After nearly 2 weeks I am told, only because I kept trying, they never got back to me, that I would have to bring the lamp to store and order another one. At this point I just want to return it. But no I cant do that without ordering another one. I cant get anything that would be easier for us to handle or apply to bill. I have bought Ashley furniture before in other areas of the country. No problems. This is the poorest customer service I have ever seen. Take my advice stay away from them.

Went to Ashley Springfield to purchase a new bed for our home. Our salesman was very helpful in getting us what we wanted; a queen bedframe, mattress, foundation (box spring), and side table within our price range. The problem was when our bed was delivered there was no foundation included and Ashley said we never bought one when we called about it. So we ordered another foundation over the phone with a different salesman at Ashley Springfield, an unexpected additional cost and additional wait for another delivery. Lo and behold new foundation gets delivered, and its the wrong size! They charged us for a twin and delivered a twin. So now we have to go back a THIRD time to spend MORE money to wait LONGER to get out bed. Eventually. Maybe. Two stars because their delivery people were top notch.

I felt like I been at a used car sales place. I talk to one salesperson about a couch and get a specific deal. I return later and that salesperson is off that day. Then I got to deal with one person & 2 necessary supervisors who juggled my deal around. I got a credit card”deal”, and a 3 year service contract that I didn’t want. READ THE ENTIRE WRITTEN SALES RECEIPT before you sign. Furniture is NOT returnable. Plus if you try to call, there is only one phone number for everyone. Simply the worst. Salesmen Jason was the worst. We bought a bed, waited 2 weeks. They delivered but Jason ordered the wrong bed. Having to sleep on floor. Then they delivered table and it was damaged and they won’t fix it. No apology no customer service. My father in law bought bed and Jason promised him things and didn't fullfill. Nothing but lies. Once they have their money it’s over. This happen 16 years ago and we thought we would give them a second chance. No third chance. I will be doing everything to close this business

Bought an $700 recliner. When it arrived it was broken, the footrest catches and won’t open or close all the way. We called and they said they would fix it, ordered the parts and the parts were delivered. It’s been over a month of back and forth with them to get a repair guy out. The parts have been sitting in a giant box in my living room for weeks and whenever we are given a day scheduled for repair they never show up. We have been scheduled three times and no one ever shows up. Last time we tried to get an appointment time set up again we were told their computer system was down and to call back later. That went on for two days. Today was the third appointment and still no one is here. This is exhausting and I just want it fixed or my money back and they can come get the stupid broken chair.

Spent some time looking for a couch, and Louis Taylor helped us a bunch. All staff were friendly and we will be shopping there when the need comes!

I was convinced to do a soft credit check that I was told WOULD NOT be a hard inquiry and go on my credit report when in fact it did hit my credit and was a hard inquiry! These people lie and will do anything to get the sale! Deceitful credit checks is NOT the way to gain me as a customer! JP is liar and can be trusted as much as that sleasy car salesman at a sketchy dealership. JP is that sleasy guy and Ashley is that sketchy dealership. Apparently management approves of this as they refused to take my call and never called me back as I was told they would. I said I would return to make my purchases after the purchase of my home is finalized. Also why I requested no credit check as I dont want new inquires to impact my loan status but no one at Ashley cares about that! I had a new living room set and bedroom set I was going to purchase from this store after my home finalized but they now lost me as a customer forever! Im going further up the chain to ensure this ends with me! At Ashley you get to buy today and get it 3 months later! Meanwhile make sure to make your monthly payment on that couch you still don't have and maybe you will get it one day before it's paid off. Zero apologies, zero compensation, zero responsibility. BUY YOUR FURNITURE SOMEWHERE ELSE

The confirmation text for delivery wasn’t sent, delaying the arrival of our furniture and causing frustration. However, after much time spent on the phone, a lot of effort went in to making it right and in the end, customer service proved to be a priority and we would shop there again.

We spent $4,000 on a couch and 4 of the 7 pieces showed up damaged. The company refuses to refund me. Will not be buying from Ashley ever again.

JP couldn’t have been more helpful. He quickly assessed exactly what I was looking for and even though I wasn’t planning on purchasing my new furniture until this fall, he helped me “lock-in” the today’s sale prices and my furniture is being held for me until I am ready for it! You can’t beat that! I’m very pleased with Ashley and the fine young man that made it all so easy for me. Thanks JP!

Helped my friend purchase some things for their living room and unfortunately this was a mistake. Customer service in the store was ok, but items on the floor were actually priced higher than the same items online on their website. Took hours to check out in store bc mistakes were made and their systems are weird. We should have been in and out bc we knew exactly what we wanted. The sofa was delivered and the delivery guys said the sofa would not fit through the doorway. I showed them how to do and they got it in. Then they said it would not make the turn in the hallway. I measured and it should have fit but they were afraid it would damage a wall so they refused to continue so they took it back. The end tables that were ordered were instock when we ordered but later found to be backordered until Oct so we canceled them. They said all the lamps were being delivered but we only got 2 of the 4. The ones we got the shades were damaged so I had to replace them myself. The other lamps, they said were returned but we didn't return them! We just never got them! They charge a delivery fee and they sell you on warranties which are really hidden fees so be aware!!!! I was fine with a delivery fee but it was not clear what I was paying for really. I kept calling to get help with returns and it was impossible. Everyone would say they were busy and would call me back in 24-48 hrs but never did. Finally, I got through and I believe that refunds are coming but who knows. I feel bad for people that work there and I feel even worse for the people that have to endure this type of customer service and then just to get cheap furniture. I never give bad reviews but I just had to get this off my chest.

We went in an wanted to buy a sleeper sofa we found one we really liked so we purchased it however Lewis Taylor put in the wrong order we got delivered a regular sofa we did not want now we're getting run around between customer care and store it shouldn't be that difficult to figure out it's really disappointing for a business to take care of there customers in that manner I highly recommend not to shop at this location

Terrible, spent almost 20 thousand dollars. They delivered items and 3/4ths of them were broke or defective. Can't get them to make it right, just exchange me the right things. Delivery fee is more than what I am paying for a delivery from NFM in Kansas City. I live in Nixa. Also, so many fees added , it would’ve been easier to order online as that is what I did anyway. I was told I had to have it delivered and could not pick it up.

We bought a mattress from here. Was told if we didn't like it that we could return it. Not true at all. Then was also told we could exchange it for a different one if we didn't like it after a week. That to had no truth. Now we have to wait 30 days after having to do anythingabout it. Im sure after 30 days there will be another way for them to not follow through. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Up date. So I called and text the number the animated owner gives . To only be told that there is nothing they can do . Ashley furniture just keeps their word on doing nothing they promise.

I bought my furniture a month ago and it never got delivered. I had 3 verified appointments and on each day nothing came. After going to the store I was told I was never in contact with the store even though I could show proof of calls and messages stating when items would be delivered. They apologized and said my salesmen should have reached out and because of the remodel going on it would be about 6 weeks before I could get my stuff now. I said no thank you just refund my money if that was the best they could be done. I had always had good experiences before this and would say roughly in the last 5 years probably spent around 20,000 plus there but will not spend another dollar there.

We ordered furniture in May and were told in would be ready in 2 weeks. When we went to pick it up, they only had part of our sectional and said it would be 2 more weeks. Now after waiting 4 weeks, we have been told it will be 4 more weeks. We wouldn’t have ordered had we known it would take this long. We have events at our house that we need furniture for. This is very disappointing.

Most ridiculous company I have seen. Clearly doesn't matter how much money you spend with them, they do not care about the customer experience. This is the second review I'm leaving to inform everyone of their unacceptable customer service. This company is a joke. After spending 10 k with the business the decided to give me the run around for the next 50 hours about my delivery. Their sales guys Louis has horrible training if any. Leading people on with misinformation and false promises. I was told I would get the mattress on Wednesday the 3rd here we are the 6th and still no mattress. They have no inventory of these mattresses and supposedly one got damaged but, to secure the sale I was kept promising tomorrow. Mind you with this money I could have gotten this from another company but I chose to believe this guy. Then today finally after multiple messages back and forth with direct answer some lady named Hailey calls me today that really didn't even know what was going on. Saying well we can't get you a mattress until the 25th. It literally took you guys 50 hours to come up with that and a 2k discount. That I really don't care about I juSt need my mattress to sleep in our new house. I'm not mad about the delay to get this correct I'm mad about the poor training that ashley gives their sales team and sounds to me with talking to him they have had issues before. This is literally because they lead people on for the sale. They gave a disrespectful offer for all the issues in my opinion.i will never buy from Ashley again nor would I recommend this store to anyone. I will be taking it up with my wife but, I will most likely be asking for a refund. If I have to wait that long anyways might as well give my money to a better company. You should really look at your customer service issues. Update finally delivered but no pillows, cases, or sheets. I would advise against using this company the will tell you things to secure a sale that they have no intention on fulfilling. Louis the sales guys at the Springfield location is a snake a a lier. He is most of the issues from this experience. He lied then when customer service reached out to him he lied to them as from what I can only assume is from me calling him out on his incompetency. This place don't care about it's customers I don't recommend them at all. They "reply" acting as they will resolve it but I've talked to 9 employees now and none of them have helped me. I was told today to drive all the way to Springfield to pick up what turned out to be the wrong pillows the wrong size and one pillow case short. Now they are leaving me on hold and or ignoring my calls. They have no accountability in their company. The customer service training is god awful. Do not deal with this company and if you do I'd advise staying away from Louis and Denver in the Springfield location.i have emailed these pictures to try to get this resolved but, it's clearly not going to just hope no one else has to deal with all this. Also be VERY Leary on what they offer you and tell you as seen in invoice they hide things in promos to make it harder for you to prove it. I know lesson learned but, thing to keep in mind while using Ashley. They are now resulting to answering my calls and saying there he is again and putting me on hold. Great customer experience I will update this again with every employee I had to talk to with no resolution. Louis-sales -beginning of issue, ride, incompetent, liar Haley- core operations -Liar as well promise one thing doesn't follow through Lori- core operations incompetent untrained customer service Fide-customer service- no help talks in circles Jade-escalation- talk a big game acts like she will help and fix your problem. Also, unable to do her job and then ignored your calls even though you are told to call anytime. Rachel-customer service- untrained, no conflict management, incompetent. Iliana- escalation- liar, incompetent. They all have to reach out to "managers that don't exist or unresponsive and don't do their jobs either. Probably the worst customer service.

Horrible experience. We were promised a delivery date, then cancelled. They finally delivered a mattress without box springs. Requested a supervisor to call, waited 48 hours without a call. Very bad customer service and overall it seems like no one knows what they are doing. Will never do business with them again.

Denver, our salesman, was wonderful! He spent at least two hours with us answering questions and working with us on the pricing of our furniture. He made sure to offer us several different options with different pricing and took the time to educate us on the benefits of each option. He was extremely patient and encouraged us to look at other stores nearby - he was that confident in his product, the 5 year warranty and the pricing. He was right! We looked and compared, but returned and bought the living room set and rug through him. We are pleased with our choice and can’t wait for the furniture to be delivered!

I am angry!! I have around 600 dollars that Ashley owes me for a recliner that is falling apart! I got the extended warranty. I paid my portion for the new recliner but Ashley is dragging their feet about giving me my refund so that the Springfield store can deliver my recliner. I have a lot of health issues and I need my recliner. They already cashed my check so get with it and take care of this Ashley Corporation!!!!!!

Last time shopping at this stupid store, if you buy something online prepare to not being able to return it at any Ashley store, then you are forced to call their customer service to return which but the way does not work every time you call says the lines are busy and then hang up then finally someone answer to text and they don’t accept return within 72 hours even tough Monday was memorial day and they were closed, the if they do accept the return you will need to pay for shipping fees never again will I purchase from this ridiculous store

Edited: Unfortunately, I feel compelled to edit my review due to the recent issue I have had with Ashley’s customer service and their return policy. We purchased a Cal King bed frame way back in May 2025 and it was delivered in early November when our house was finally finished getting built. The headboard delivered was correct but the frame was not. No biggie, told them it was wrong with a day or two and they gladly scheduled pick up of wrong frame and delivered and put together correct one, or so we thought. When it came time to put the box spring/mattress it wouldn’t fit and was still too small. This was 11/18 and I called them same day to request it be picked up and refunded due to being defective because it did not fit our Cal King boxspring/mattress despite the site showing the dimensions would fit. They have since then given me the run around from saying it can’t be refunded due to being “As-Is” which is NOT listed anywhere on my invoice/receipt or can’t be refunded unless it is damaged or defective-which it is. Then they say a technician will be sent to fix it. I had already explicitly said that the bed frame couldn't be fixed because it was defective. The technician they sent, Rich, agreed with our conclusion that the frame would not fit our box spring or mattress. Andrew from Ashley called and left me a voicemail also confirming what the tech stated and made a suggestion to rotate the box spring mattress which is absolutely ridiculous considering we purchased a Cal King bed to accommodate my boyfriend's height to then to be told to rotate the bed to make it fit the frame? To make matters worse, Andrew ended the voicemail by saying if that doesn't fix the issue to deal with customer service and they have been completely useless, unresponsive, and given me excuses and empty promises saying managers are going to call me back and NOT ONCE have they called back meanwhile I have called a dozen times or more. It's really disheartening to have such a bad experience where the company is failing their customers. We found many items that we needed for our new home on sale and in stock. The sales person was courteous and not pushy at all, helpful, knowledgeable, and thorough. I would recommend and certainly come back.

I have talked to four different agents throughout the past three days to try and figure out when our couch is going to get delivered and I still do not have an answer. this has been a very frustrating and disappointing experience.

Salesman was great. Not pushy or hovering. Helped us find the right dining set and was very personable. Couldn’t add this new purchase to my existing account, which required a different means of paying for it, but satisfied with the purchase. Delivery is expensive and takes a week. Overall we thought it was a pleasant experience and we got what we needed at a discount price by shopping on a holiday weekend.

Friendly people work here. We bought a bed frame and had to match it to some other furniture we already had. Denver was our sales associate and he was really patient with us while we looked at everything. They have a lot of sales here, but the prices are better than other places even without the sales. I would definitely recommend. We will be back to get more furniture.

I walked by 3 sales people who completely ignored me, but the 4th one (Dante) spoke to me and offered to help. Dante found what I needed, we arranged the purchase and delivery, and I was on my way in about 10 minutes. I appreciate his help! Looking forward to the delivery in a few days.

The salesman did not follow through with any of the paperwork. Talked to two other salespeople who were very helpful in getting it cleared up, but it took a month before my mattress finally arrived. The delivery people were amazing. They would get 5 stars!!

We thought that this place was great the first time we went but we have been in the process of switching our Tempur-pedic mattress for a different one . Our order keeps getting messed up and they keep trying to deliver the wrong mattress to us. We are at the point where we wish we’d never even got the first one. 90 night guaranty is a joke at this location.

DO NOT BUY anything from Ashley unless you want screwed over. They will take your money and when there’s an issue say it’s out of their hands and nothing they can do. Not only was our furniture delivered broken but items were missing and Jamie and his “lover” boss with red hair said you have to call customer service, all they can do in the store is take your money. I promise something will go wrong and you are out of luck. They say call escalation but they can’t help either. They said their accounting department is in Canada and they don’t have phone numbers and only reply with automated messages. Everyone I talk to experienced the same thing and says they won’t go back but try one more time and same bullshit. We will never use Ashley again. Oh and said our promotion was 60 months and after 12 months they started charging 35% interest. Bill went from $5000 to $8500 in 3 days.

Our sales person Leah was absolutely amazing… However, upon delivery, My refinished hardwood floor in my hundred year-old craftsman farmhouse was scratched all the heck, One piece of the frame on an end cap of my Sectional was bent… They had to take it with them, so I don’t have the end of my couch and it looks really terrible right now… So far they say they’re going to do something about the property damage claim that I had to make and I don’t know how long it’s gonna take to get the piece replaced. I guess I may give more stars, depending on how they handle it.

We helped initially by Louis who was a great help in answering our questions and showing us around so that we got exactly what we wanted. We couldn’t purchase that day so he made a record of it and hand the information at the store and sent us the information as well. When we went back to purchase the furniture Louis wasn’t there but Ben was and he could access the information, answer questions that we still had and was hilarious. We loved our experience with Ashley Furniture, both with product and the people. Have done and will continue to recommend this store. Very good experience n every way. Nothing negative at all!

Friendly people. Had a good time spending money.

A full size mattress was delivered instead of the correct queen size mattress to match the queen size bed. I was told that I must call my salesman. I do not have the paperwork with the salesman’s business card, so I am unable to contact him. I was then told to go to the store and speak with him. I live in another town and is not convenient for me to do today. I have called the store and no one answers the phone. I feel like this process is broken and I am not pleased.

From start to finish this was a terrible experience. When we went into the showroom it felt like we were hounded, but five years ago we fell for the $299 insurance plan on our new furniture and it expired so we had $299 to spend. We picked out a table and pushed against allllllll the recommendations the salesman said. We really just want the table. After ordering we waited for about a month for it to get in and then one morning after my meetings, seven text messages and seven emails. SEVEN! All just to confirm we would pick it up on the day we said we would. "Hey Jonathan, this is gentle reminder..." Once I confirmed, we got three more texts and emails. Then on the day before pickup three texts and three emails to "gently remind" me that I would pick it up. All I want is the table. But when I confirmed this time I was told that I had to pick it up in REPUBLIC at their warehouse from 8-3 pm. First, I am hearing of this location or timeframe, so I scrambled and I was able to get there before 3 the next day. I followed the process to check-in when I was headed there, but when I got there I waited for 15 minutes for an employee to speak to me then 30 minutes to get my table. All I want is the table. From the predatory sales tactics to the mismanaged warehouse this was a terrible experience and will never go back to Ashley...but I did get my table.

I purchased a table and chairs from the Springfield Missouri store. Four out of six of the chairs or stools did not set level! I contacted the store and they referred me to their customer service, which is an online over the phone/ on lune communication.They had me send them pictures, which I explained to them would not show levelness, but I did it. Approximately two weeks later, I get a email asking was it the front or the back legs this is barstool type of seating which goes in a complete circle. I told them there was no front or back. They said there was two holes in the back legs I sent them a picture there was no hose in the legs at all. Approximately a week later, I get an email saying let us know when the parts arrive to your home so we can set an appointment. Then today, which is approximately a month out I called to check on the parts only to be told. They are being sent in from another country and will not be here until the end of the month or May. Very dissatisfied with the way they handle issues with Furniture once you have it in your home. I have purchased from this store before and never had a problem Customer service at the time of sell was excellent, but this is just to let people know if you have a problem you’re gonna be dealing with it for probably months.

Sales team very nice and extremely informed. Not satisfied with the fact that I was not informed that my sheets and mattress pad were not included in the price of the bed. I misunderstood that I would be paying for them. Also asked for approximate delivery date before I left the store ( thinking it would be within 2 weeks tops) only to find out it was scheduled for about 5 weeks. I feel that is much more time than needed for bedding and support system. At present I am waiting to see if I can get delivery sooner.

We had the best experience with Leah and could not asked for more! We got everything we needed, and feel very supported even after we left and waiting for our delivery.

The mattress on the right is the one we ordered at the store, but the mattress on the left is what we got. The invoice has the same item number as the delivery sheet. What happened?

I felt very important and not pushed to buy here not like at other places I had been earlier. Briana helped me get qualified for leasing with Keegan. Then all of a sudden it felt like something or someone was more important and I was passed off to someone else. Don't get me wrong he did great and I am happy.

We purchased a lift char on Mar. 8, from Jason…as I had broke several ribs, from a fall. My husband took much time in checking the numbers on the actual chair against the chair on the order form. He picked it up from the warehouse the same day, and drove 35 miles to our home with it. A few days later, ( when he had someone to help him unload it, and set it up), he realized that it was not the chair he had picked out. After several calls to customer service, and then 3 calls to the salesman, nothing is done about it. We had even helped his Mom pick out a chair there 2 months earlier…never again will we recommend that store.

Complete nightmare! Sales person entered the wrong information for the table I was supposed to get which caused me to get billed an extra 400 dollars. I still haven't received my refund. Then to top it off my delivery date has been pushed back an additional 3 weeks.

We bought from the Springfield, MO store and the sales process took forever to write up the order. Then we said we'd pick up the nightstand and went to get it only to discover the top drawer was broken and it has taken 4 days to get anyone in customer service to help. They said they don't ship a new nightstand but we have to have them process the damage report that takes 48 hours to process before we find out if they have another drawer in inventory, and then they will ship it which will take 10 days and then a repair guy isn't available for two weeks. Our fault that we didn't open the box and inspect the nightstand before we left the distribution center. Buyers be aware of this.
