The shopping experience at Ashley was overall a good experience until it was time to receive the furniture. During the sale of the items, the salesman scheduled our furniture for a specific day. Once inching closer to the date of delivery, I was contacted saying that the furniture had not even been scheduled and it would be 4 days after the original date for delivery. Disappointed and frustrated as we removed all of our current furniture to make room for the new. Currently sitting on the floor for Super Bowl Sunday. Thanks Ashley Homestore for ruining our weekend.

Andrea was so helpful. I had initially came in to look at a sofa I had found online. When I decided I didn’t like the fabric of that sofa, Andrea listened to my concerns and helped me find my ideal furniture. She took her time and showed me several options . I finally found my perfect sofa, chairs, ottomans, and rugs for my family room. I will definitely ask for Andrea when I’m ready to add a new piece of furniture to my home!
My wife & I found dinning room chairs on the Ashley website. We called our local Ashley store in Springfield through which we were able to close the deal, pay online and pick them up the next day at the SGF warehouse. Jay Wasson guided us through the entire seamless process 👍.
Went to Ashley Furniture in Springfield, MO with the living room pieces I had in mind. The salesman, Chas, got me a great discount (20% off) and was so patient as I had to call my bank TWICE to authorize the payment. Although it was embarrassing to have my card declined (the funds were there, i just needed my daily spending limit raised), Chas was sympathetic to my dilemma and never made me feel bad. 10/10 would recommend him as a sales person!
My experience was very good. I needed a recliner. I wanted a certain kind that was not on the floor and we looked through. I don’t know how many recliners looking for the one that I wanted I knew exactly what it look like everything and we did it until she found it. She got it ordered. she was very sweet. We even had her own little conversation just sitting there talking about whatever If I need something else id go back to Ashley store. I’d want to use her again. She was amazing. Sorry I can’t remember her name.
Our salesman Kyle Josephsen was very knowledgeable about the furniture and went the extra mile to make sure we were taken care of with everything. So, all in all it was a great experience. Bailey and Amber were really great. Plus, some of the coworkers kept joking around with us making the whole experience enjoyable. If I buy anything else, I will go see Bailey.

We purchased $8000 of furniture from Ashley 2 weeks ago and scheduled delivery for today. We were assured that the delivery people would put our old furniture out at the curb for us. For full disclosure early this morning, my husband had a TIA and is currently in hospital. Tonight at 630 delivery crew finally arrives and tells us they absolutely will not move the old furniture out for us. They told us to reschedule the delivery and drove off with MY furniture. I called the store to find out why the salesman and delivery were not on the same page. The "Manager on duty" informed me that the salesman was wrong and I could hire their third-party company to come and move it for us. I wouldn't have had a problem if the salesman had told us that up front and would have happily paid for the service. But since I wasn't informed upfront when we specifically asked, why should I now have to pay for this. Again, full disclosure, I actually had a hefty tip in my pocket for the delivery people as it is a tough job under any circumstances This supposed manager then failed to take responsibility for the actions of any of it. Yes I told him he was a piss poor manger who clearly needs to find a new line of work . Yes I questioned his customer service skills, yes at the top of my voice. No I shouldn't have yelled and I could have been calmer . I make no excuse I own my crap, I lost it on them and shouldn't have. We spent a similar amount last year with them as well, but next year, someone else will get my money.
Just needed a new couch. I was in and out quickly. I bought what I needed and was on my way out. Came back to pick it up same day only cause they sold me what they had on the sales floor couch is nice.
We knew what we wanted and the gentleman who helped us made it quick and easy! Now if the sofa and chair is delivered soon, our experience would be great.

If you want to be wheeled and dealed like buying a used car from a shady lot, this is the place for you! They will not listen, just push to make the deal. And if you dare to ask for the manager (Amber), be prepared for her to come out of the gate angry and hostile before even speaking to you.

This is the worst company to do business with. If you need any type of service they will give you a toll free number to call instead of trying to help. You would be better off buying online than giving these people your money. They are just awful. Ive never seen a business treat their clients so terrible. If you want better furniture at a better price and superior service go to Furniture Row. Anytime I needed help with anything they go out of their way to help, they are such a breath of fresh air after being at Ashely Furniture and being treated so poorly on several different visits. There are furniture stores who want your business and will treat you with kindness and make you feel like they appreciate you. Ashley Furniture is NOT one of those stores. They will treat you great when they think you might buy something and as soon as they have your money you are stuck with terrible support and next to no customer service. Read all the reviews, they treat anyone who needs assistance terribly. DON’T GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR MONEY!!! THESE PEOPLE ARE TERRIBLE!!!
I called the store and got a guy named Sean. He was great customer service help me order an item online. The online payment system is terrible, but the customer service was great.
they delivered furniture it was wrong color called them and no one cares or at least no one called me back or text.
We had a great experience! Went in to get three kids beds and the sales rep CHAS HEATH was easy to work with! He checked prices of multiple items and let us know our options he wasn’t pushy and made the experience smooth! We set up for delivery that weekend the guys showed up first thing had all three beds set up in a hour and made sure we were happy with everything! Thank you for the easy experience we are happy customers and the kids love there new beds!

Before THIS time we loved doing business with Ashley. This time N̈O, came down in Service. N̈o longer take away what is being replaced, and NOW YOU need to text, and if your phone is messed up in texting they do NOT call you and do not get a regular phone call. You do NOT get your item on the day you are supposed to.

Lewis is probably the worst salesperson I've ever had the displeasure of working with at this store. I was interested in one recliner and shot him a price, he said he couldn't do that and that he was "transparent" with the sales (like I don't know how the margins work at a furniture store). I said thats alright, I'm gonna look at a few other stores and then left. Came back about an hour later to snag a photo of the recliner I was interested in and as I was walking out he said "That's fine they are more expensive online" to his coworker but just loud enough for me to hear, despite me not even interacting with him. I turned around and confronted him about his snarky remark and he said that I was rude previously. I explained to him that I had spent plenty at that store and understood their discounts and had gotten 35% off before and he told me that they have never done any sales at 35% off and to please buy it somewhere else. Honestly, I think I'll take his advice and just go to literally any other store that actually sells quality furniture moving forward. I don't even want this review to count negatively towards Lewis as I truly hope he has a very long career as a furniture salesboy with his little doctors lab coat costume, theres nothing I can think of that would be more of a punishment than that.

Wyatt was a rock star in helping us. Met us when we came in store and let ua go thru as we were just looking. Reengaged us at the end and gave us a card. Came back as also the Ashley seemed to have more of what we were coming to like. Wyatt was wonderful on closing the deal with us and was very knowledgeable, wouls buy here again!

The Ashely Furniture in Springfield Mo was nothing but a joke. We were lied to and mislead. We waited over a month for the other part of our furniture and still never received it. Sean lied and told us things that were never true. DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM!!!
I bought a couch Saturday 12/21/24 and went to the distribution Center in Republic, Missouri I was told to be there before 3 PM when they closed to load and take my couch. I arrived at 2:58 any man came outside and told me to go around back to the ramp to load it, when I went around back to load my couch, they had already locked the door and nobody ever came out so they took my money and wouldn’t give me my product. I’m really disappointed.

My wife and I went into the Ashley store in Springfield, MO to look at recliners. We did find a recliner that we bought and then decided to look at some tempur-pedic mattresses. Jason and Greg both helped us and were great to work with. We ended up purchasing the recliner and a mattress. UPDATE #2(1/15/2025) I'm so DONE with Ashley HomeStore. This is the nightmare that won't end. If I could give them ZERO stars I would. After selecting a replacement piece on 12/19/2024, I was ASSURED by Jason that the furniture was in stock, but the delivery schedule was full until 01/04/2025 I accepted that. 1st Delay - January 11th; 2nd Delay January 18th; now "maybe" it will be ready to deliver January 25th. I'm not holding my breath. I STILL have a horribly defective loveseat that nobody can sit on because it's ROCK HARD. I will NEVER shop at ASHLEY again and I will make it my mission to tell everyone I speak with to avoid Ashley at all costs. I don't know if I'm ever going to get my furniture because I've been lied to over and over. UPDATE #1 (12/19/2024)...After some wrangling and back and forth Ashley stepped up. They allowed us to do a reselect and we picked out a different style. They will deliver new set and pick up old set simultaneously. My faith in Ashley is better. My husband and I purchased a lift chair, and a power reclining loveseat which we spent a lot of time sitting on prior to purchase. It was very comfortable. Our purchase was delivered on October 12th. My husband's Lift Chair is very comfortable and works for him nicely. Unfortunately the very expensive power reclining loveseat has been a nightmare. Almost immediately I noticed the cushions were rock hard and the furniture was extremely uncomfortable. After a week I contacted Ashley and was told to let the cushions break in and it would be more comfortable. After 4 weeks nothing had changed except for the fact that this uncomfortable furniture actually aggravated my pre-existing arthritis condition. For the past 3 weeks I have been trying to work with Ashley to exchange the furniture. I wasn't asking for a refund I was asking for an exchange. My issue has reached the escalation Department at Ashley where no additional progress has been made. I'm hoping that Ashley will make this right, but I'm ready to throw this furniture off my second floor balcony. I actually went to the store and spoke with the salesperson who said yes we've had many complaints on that set because it takes 3 to 4 months to break the cushions in. This is horrible customer service and if Ashley doesn't make it right I will be shouting from the rooftops

Billy and Andrea stayed with us the whole way as we bounced back and forth trying to make a pretty important decision on which mattress would be our best fit in our lives. Our current mattress was firm and given to us a few years ago and it was making our bodies feel horrible! We went with the Tempurpedic Medium firmness. Can’t wait to get it to our home. Great customer service. Made us feel at home and felt like we were important and you could tell they would sell us what we wanted but Billy wasn’t afraid to be brutally honest either which helped us. We want to sleep better so we feel we made a great choice.

Great Sales staff. Lewis helped me find the right living room furniture to deal with 3 dogs in the house. Only issue was amount approved for financing was significantly under what DTI should have allowed. Had to use their 6 month same as cash and affirm to get the package I wanted. Their payment station struggled with using an Affirm Visa. Will be paying off ASAP.
We bought the Rawcliffe 3-Piece Sectional with Ottoman, this sectional is an amazing! It is so comfortable and we have a large family and it seats 8 to 10 easy! Best part we was able to ad match and got over a $1000 off there price in the store! Great deal! Thank you so much!

Went here first to look at couches then also hit all the other stores on south side and up to furniture row havertys Spent an entire day looking but should have just bought it here but you have to know whats out there and the price before you make an informed decision, I told myself Ashley’s is where I end back at for my couch The price was great and the service was also great JP helped us in the beginning and when we came back he was busy and had Jake help us check out BOTH guys where great to work with and next time I am not wasting a day, I’ll just goto Ashley’s knowing they had the best price and service we received

High pressure from one of the salesman to buy the most expensive mattress types they sell even though I told him multiple times we didn't want that type because it was not comfortable to us and we had it before. He wouldn't listen and just kept insisting. He made fun of me saying I was the only one in the US that didn't want that mattress so I must be "special". Will go elsewhere. Do not recommend.
Was there 1 hour and 15 minutes waiting on my order. Not the man’s fault that was coordinating things…he was running himself ragged. He explained they were down a forklift and it was himself and one picker. Weird part, I saw multiple people coming in and out of the front area. If you ask me, they should have chipped in and helped out. Must have been “managers”.
Went in yesterday and worked up a deal on a sofa, loveseat, and king bed frame with Amber and Wyatt. Went back today, after telling them yesterday that I was going to weigh my options, just to find out the “promotion ended”. That would have been nice to know the day before. Either Amber and Wyatt are bad communicators or they are crooks, or both (most likely scenario). If you like being deceived and lied to by crooked sales people. Go here. If not, go to slumberland, or furniture row, or literally anywhere else.

Turns out, the "promotion" for free delivery ended the day before and they wouldn't honor it. Either they are very poor communicators, crooks, or both. If you want to deal with people that lie in order to gain an advantage... Go here and see Wyatt and Amber. If you want to deal with honest people, look at the other 4 furniture stores in Springfield.

Edit: contacted number like response asked. I was told it was outside of year so I would have to pay out of pocket. Asked what was the purpose of the protection plan if I had to pay out of pocket. The rep hung up on me. This place is a joke!! Buyer beware do not purchase protection plans they are a scam. Bought new leather furniture in February of 2023 purchased premium protection plan that is supposed to pay for anything outside of normal wear and tear. On 11/22/24 noticed a spot was peeling on arm contacted store they gave me number to warranty company to file claim filed claim that same day. Today 11/25/24 received email that protection plan does not cover peeling and cracking. But I could have it repaired out of my own pocket.

Overall we like Ashley and somehow that’s where most of our household furniture is from. We always appreciate the variety of options and the knowledgeable staff. On the negative side, don’t swarm me with smothering sales people after I’ve been in the door less than a minute. We were only in the store probably 5 - 7 minutes and FOUR salespeople approached us. This is AFTER we told Wyatt that we wanted to look around. I really don’t feel like we even got to look around bc there was always a salesman interrupting us. I actually was getting ready to just walk out but my husband found the living room set he liked and we ended up getting.
We went to look for a new couch and recliner, not sure if we would find something that fit our needs. Bailey was fantastic and helped us look at all of our options, as well as get all of the financing taken care of! Bailey was a great help, and was easy to talk to. Ashley store in Springfield, MO was a pleasant experience with zero high-pressure selling. The products presented are of good quality at a reasonable price. The salesperson was exceptional and friendly.
From beginning to end my experience purchasing my dining room table and chairs from Ashley was wonderful. Even though I had to hold off on my delivery more than once, they worked wonderfully with me. My salesman, Aaron, was extremely patient and helpful to work with me and provide me with all the information I needed. The delivery process was fantastic as I received texts on delivery time before and during the delivery truck traveling to my home. It’s the best tracking system ever! The gentlemen, Stephen (Steven?) and Barry, who handled the delivery were careful with the items. I was especially impressed with their curtesies and helpful tips on caring for the products. They took time to show me how to appropriately level the table and chairs if and when needed. I am FULLY impressed!

Prior to my arrival a firm luxe mattress was delivered my apt. in error by another popular store 2xs. 🙄 an xtra firm was sent in error by another company in 2017 & they convinced me to keep it ughh 😔!!!! I just wanted a medium mattress 😩 & electric frame!! No more aches & pains!! Thank you Mr James!! I have a Beautyrest Harmony Lux hybrid medium w/ gel cooling!!! I appreciate your patience & willingness to assist with the best deal & I was determined 💪 about interest free for a a term or two! We came looking for a recliner, my husband has issues with sleeping and sleeps in his recliner. The wonderful sales team gave us all the information we needed to get us a Tempurpedic b bed so my husband can sleep in our bed again as well as a new recliner BUT the recliner has to match the love seat, so we got that too, they were all so helpful with all the information we needed and were just amazing! My boyfriend and I were looking at couches and had gone to a few different store. As soon as we walked into sofa city Chris walked up to us and greeted us. She walked us around and showed us options and took into consideration what we liked and what we didn’t like. Will definitely be coming back here for future items we want.

In 2022, I bought a power recliner from Ashley Furniture. At their sales person’s recommendation I purchased a five year extended warranty from ProtectALL by GBS. In April 2024 I had a mechanical problem with the chair. I was having difficulties with the extended warranty company and called Ashley for help. The local Ashley store was less than helpful and immediately referred me to the corporate Ashley location. When I contacted them, they said there is nothing they could do for me. The extended warranty company was not through Ashley and I would have to speak with that company for any recourse. It was obvious that the extended warranty company Ashley recommended was doing everything they could do, not handle the repair. Multiple times I felt they were making it as difficult as possible in the hope that I would give up and it was a company tactic to not pay out money. However, I did not let it rest. I made call after call to the extended warranty company and I made calls to Ashley Furniture as well. Of course, Ashley said they could not help or contact the warranty company on my behalf. On one occasion, when I spoke with Ashley corporate, I said, I shopped at my local Ashley store and bought the chair at the recommendation of the sales person. An Ashley employee talked me into buying an extended warranty. I paid Ashley for the chair. I paid Ashley for the extended warranty that they recommended and now Ashley won’t help me? Without hesitation that Ashley employee on the phone said, no sir. There’s nothing we can do for you. At that point, I decided I would never do business with Ashley furniture again. After six months of dealing with the issue and with dozens of phone calls, the extended warranty company replaced the chair with a new one. There was absolutely no help from Ashley furniture. These are just things to remember as a consumer. Be aware.
The materials are good but it took too long to deliver. Sales man said 2 weeks but it took almost 2 months before receive it.

We purchased outdoor furniture at Ashley online in June 2023. We had gone into the store to purchase, but they had very limited inventory. The salesman helping us told us there was more inventory online and they would ship directly to us. We did this and received the three piece set July 2023. We had to assemble, but were expecting that. We have been happy with the furniture until a month ago, when I discovered that there was a corner of a back cushion at the top that was unraveling. It actually was very strange looking. It was past the one year warranty and we expected to pay for another cushion cover. (The cover zips on the cushion, so we thought this was a simple order fix. This furniture is in a screened in patio with no kids or animals. We are in our mid- 60’s. I called customer service and after almost 45 minutes of holding and talking, I received 3 emails from him telling me here is the link to order replacement for your problem. It had nothing to do with my cushion cover. So a waste of time. I then tried chatting with customer service, she asked for serial number/ model number. I gave that and waited 30 minutes with no further response. She never said sorry for the wait or anything. So another waste of time. Today I took the cushion to Ashley furniture store in Springfield, Mo. The same store we went into to purchase an outdoor set. I walked in and no one said a word to me. They looked at me and then back to doing what they were doing, they were not busy. I went straight to the large customer area at the back. I stood and waited for 15 minutes and no one came to the area. I finally walked to one of the gentlemen that ignored me when I came in. I explained what I needed. He told me they don’t staff that back customer area anymore. I explained what had happened to me so far by calling, chatting, etc. I explained that I just wanted to order a replacement cover. (They are still selling the set online). He told me that they could not help me that the store itself and Ashley Furniture online are completely different entities. I explained that the salesperson before advised us to go online and didn't say anything about them being completely different. He just walked off. We have purchased at Ashley in the past several times, we will never again. We spent 2500.00 for an outdoor set that now looks bad. If you decide to go ahead and purchase anything there, be aware that if something goes wrong, getting a replacement is impossible and they really don’t care, they already got your money and are done with you. Terrible customer service is an understatement.
Store visit was good and thought we had everything covered. Delivery day came and never got my items. Took off work to be there so missed out on a days worth of pay. Couldn’t get anyone to help me and stores number was automated couldn’t get to a sales person. Turned out salesman turned all my information in wrong. Phone number up to how i financed was wrong. Said I owned money. Finally got through to someone through text and got my furniture 3 days late. Delivery guys were great. Only good part about this situation. Ashley really dropped the ball and they could have got me my items. I only live 5 minutes from the warehouse.

An excellent experience. Just bought my wife a new home and trying to furnish it. We've been all over town looking for a few specific peices. Ashley was the last place we checked. It should have been the first place. The showroom is clean. The sales staff are courteous, knowledgable, friendly and very helpful. We found most of what we needed. The sales staff actually offered suggestions where we could find the peases they didn't have. I don't give recommendations often. When I do, it's because someone I've dealt with earned it. Ashley is a nice place to shop for quality at an acceptable price.

Was in there looking to buy furniture until I found out the delivery fee was $459. From the store to Battlefield would take no longer than an hour to unload it and be moving on to the next order. The place I bought it from instead charged me $110.

Make sure you really calculate your actual monthly payment. They say it'll only be 50$ or 75$ but in the end you're going to have a 600$ payment that you aren't expecting. If you can't pay it then they tack on months of interest lucky we caught it and paid it in time.
I feel like I was way over charged. I found the same table with chairs for 750.00 even in Ashley website it's way less then the price they sold it to me. The tablet is 1389,99 and they sold it to me for a bit over 500.00 . Very disappointed !

Terrible customer service. Once you buy furniture it takes weeks to deliver. They deliver parts of your bedframe in installments which can take upto 16 weeks as per their contract. None knows whats happening with your order. People keep transferring you from operator to operator and very hard to get hold of the sales person who sold you the furniture. Get ready to sleep on floor for 16 weeks if you buy new bedframe from here!

My husband & I have been trying to get management of this store to call us back for almost 2 months. We NEVER get a call back. Extremely disappointed in the quality of the furniture and their “resolution”. We live almost 2 hrs from this store and can’t just drive back up there. Bought a bedroom set and a chair. Received a damaged bedroom set. Store management told us they would give us $500 off the price. It has been 2 months and that has not happened. We have contacted our salesman several times & called asking for management. Every time we hear a “a manager will give you a call back” and they never do.

Our delivery is not for another 5 days so this review is solely for our service within the store. Jake was very knowledgeable. We told him what we were looking for and he immediately showed us several options. We were sold on a sectional that is super durable after he literally took a sharp object to scratch and poke at the floor model. It was more than we originally planned on spending but it is something that looks like it would hold up against our kids and dogs.

We bought a sectional from Ashley’s on Labor Day and they waved the delivery fee for us which was much appreciated (however our sales person Louis rescheduled the delivery three separate times and lied about switching over the delivery from pickup to delivery.) I had to call the store eventually after a week of not receiving the furniture (as told I would) and asked when I should be receiving the furniture, and they told me “it looks like you’re set to pick it up.” Then when delivery FINALLY came, the delivery people told me they would unwrap the furniture in my driveway for me to make sure we received all the right pieces/wasn’t damaged….they did the complete opposite and told me to take it out on Ashley’s not them… Safe to say after talking to MANY people I will never be buying furniture from Ashley’s again!

I would give ZERO stars if I could. STAY AWAY and go somewhere else. Purchased 3 piece MATCHING set 3 months ago.Ashley delivered two pieces and told us the other was on backorder, set up multiple deliveries and never showed . 3 months later, no desk THAT I PAID FOR, no refund. NO CONTACT. I am still out money on a desk I haven't received, now they said it's discontinued. Now they want us to take a damaged desk they refuse to take photos of and text us and told us just have it delivered and decide then? Over 10 days we have been waiting for photos of a found matching damaged desk. OR we can pick a desk that doesn’t match. At no point while I was shopping for my three-piece MATCHING set did I look for anything else. I never looked for a bed and nightstand and a desk that was close or similar. I wanted a three-piece MATCHING set. I have a purchase agreement which is a binding contract that they failed to fulfill. Sadly we are going to have to take legal action because Ashley will not refund or respond. Update: They responded to this complaint asking me to reach out to them however, it’s a bot once again asking me to set up delivery for a damaged desk I’ve never seen. I have even offered to drive to the local fulfillment center to view which they will not let me do There is no customer contact when you call they put you on hold. I was on hold for over 2 1/2 hours yesterday. Once again DO NOT SHOP here. It’s a ripoff.
This is the second negative experience we've had with Ashley's in Springfield, and there won't be a third. We are done shopping with them. This is not a "walk in and buy" store. Whatever you purchase has a 3-9 month wait time on delivery, if they even still have it in stock. It is never delivered at the time they tell you in the store, if at all. The quality of their items are good, and a bit pricey. I dont mind the priciness, I would just like to receive the item so I can enjoy it before I die. I know I'm being a bit dramatic, but you get the picture. There is literally zero customer service. Don't expect to get the local store or person who sold you the item on the phone. All calls go to a call center and they have very little ability or willingness to assist you. All I'm saying is if you buy from them, expect it to be a very frustrating experience. Since I do not need the additional stress, I will purchase my furniture elsewhere in the future. Good luck to you if you decide to buy from them.

One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. I ordered a matching Bedframe, nightstand, and desk, and was told that all of them were in stock but the desk would be delivered later than the rest. That was five months ago, I am STILL without a desk. I have called the customer service 15+ times, trying to figure out what is going on and I got a different response everytime, until finally, they gave me a delivery date the first week of September. When I called the next day to confirm the delivery date, customer service informed me that the item was discontinued. After 5 months of waiting and getting lead on they discontinued the product I bought, AND they won’t even pick up the Bedframe or night stand. I STILL haven’t been refunded for the desk, and am currently working on trying to find a display model, once again, with TERRIBLE communication and not a single employee is trying to help. I would NEVER recommend anyone to use this Ashley Furniture, literally go to anywhere else. I will never shop at Ashley’s again. Update (after their last comment): still have not received the desk, have not heard back anything from Ashley regarding the desk in a week after I decided to stop constantly calling, and I still have not received a refund.

If I could give this place zero stars I would! Imagine buying a couch and the protection plan that they offer and say that damages will be covered no matter what, kids, dogs and accidents. We went and called in to the warranty place they directed us to. Come to find out that they won’t fit our couch we spent $2,000 + on. This place is a joke and we won’t be coming back.

The day after placing this order we realized that we did not order a platform bed as expected. We were ensured that they would take care of us and get the box spring order. On 10/6, I messaged my sales person to confirm everything was properly ordered and she assured me multiple times in that conversation. Where was my foundation, you ask? NEVER ordered and then tried to act like this was my fault. As a retail worker I hate to even do this, but it’s truly not okay the lengths they went to just make a sale. Bailey, Billy, Keegan, and the whole staff were super helpful and nice! 11/10 would recommend They helped us get our dream bed!!
Updating my originally five star review to let y’all know to please ensure everything about your purchase is correct and if a store employee tells you you’re ordering a platform bed and don’t need a box spring, they are probably incorrect and don’t know the product in the store and won’t do anything to rectify the situation. They will lie to you and tell you the situation is fixed multiple times, and then when your bed, that requires a box spring or foundation gets delivered, act like you were supposed to pay for one the entire time. These people will do anything to get a sale, so just make sure to do your own research before purchasing.

Recently purchase some night stands and one of the drawers did not work properly. They sent me a replacement part and scheduled a date to come out and repaired. They never called, never showed up, never followed up.

I’m not one to leave a review but I hope this helps for future reference. I purchased items 7/11 and payed for the White Glove Service (delivery+setup). My items were supposed to be delivered 8/10. I got a call Thursday from a 3rd party (delivery team) letting me know that he saw I purchased the “White glove service” and that he could not assemble one of the items due to how it’s stated as a non-assembled item. I called my salesperson Cody that day and he was only able to bring down the delivery price to $50 keep in mind I payed $199.98 for them to assemble the items. I told him I would let him know Friday 8/9 to see if I wanted to go forward since I was never told that it was going to be an issue and neither does my receipt show that it is stated as an un-assembled item. If I wanted pick up or choose door service I would have chosen those but I payed for the White Glove service for a reason. I called Friday as I told Cody 20 minutes after they opened and Cody was not going to be there until noon but she was going to relay the message. I waited and received no call. I called them back at 1 and I was able to speak with Aaron which he stated that Cody was with costumers and he would relay the message. I told him it was urgent because I was going to miss my confirmation deadline at 2. Long story short my delivery got canceled for 8/10 and now I was needing to reschedule and never did I get a call back from Cody. I was able to get ahold of a costumer service representative over the phone after 6 hours of trying to reach them due to the fact that Ashley’s furniture store was no longer answering any of my calls. Neither was costumer service able to get ahold of them as they were trying to figure out what went wrong. Don’t waste your time because they DO NOT care about you as a PAYING costumer. I’m waiting to see if I could get a full refund from costumer service , give your money to who appreciates it. Save yourself from unnecessary stress.

The in store representatives were wonderful. Andrea and Aaron were very helpful, informative, and really great to work with. Following purchase is where the issues were. Our order has been delayed multiple times, and once called to reschedule our delivery so we could get all of our furniture at the same time, the service rep. didn't schedule our delivery and now it has been delayed AGAIN. If you have to deal with customer service on the phone, good luck getting ahold of someone on the phone that's not an automated voice message (unless they call you). Very frustrated with the delivery system, especially when we were told "fast delivery" and by the time we get it, it will have been weeks since we were told it would be delieverd.

Pros: we got the mattresses and bases we wanted Cons: they did not remove our old mattress and box spring, because of mild staining, citing that they donate mattresses to children. The alternative was for them to charge us $40 to take them to the dump, even though their website says they take and recycle mattresses free of charge and our city has a recycling program. Also any restrictions on what could or could not be picked up were never mentioned when arranging for them to be taken away Somehow after making our order, the delivery of our bases was changed to pickup. I caught the error due to an automated text system, but the texting system did nothing to fix it and when I spoke to the sales people they just blamed the texting system for causing confusion. But then they said that our bases had actually been changed to pick up, but they got them changed back to delivery. In the store, they told me the mattresses would be delivered two weeks before they were actually delivered. I think this was due to a mixup in the ordering process which happened while we were in the store, but the change of delivery time was never mentioned until I called on the day I expected delivery and looked it up in our paperwork. The “sleep expert” didn’t understand the mattress sizing difference between a split king (twin xls) and a split California king. All of the paperwork was completed for twin XL’s even though I had said split California king from the beginning of our conversation. I caught it in the paperwork, but it wasn’t until I insisted on measurements a few times that he realized that he was misinformed. He apologized and honestly that didn’t bother me as much as the sales guy who chuckled when I raised the issue and suggested I should just google mattress sizes if I wanted measurements. I don’t know if it is just this store or all Ashley stores, but I doubt I ever purchase from them again or recommend them to anyone. I had to be an absolute harridan to just buy what I wanted to buy.
Purchased “in stock” item on 7/22 and sales person said delivery arrival would be 7/26. When I got the text to schedule delivery item was out of stock and could be September before item would be available.
JP lied throughout the entire interaction in an attempt to make the sale. He started by slandering other stores and saying Ashley’s was the only one with stock. (Ashley’s was the only furniture store in the strip who didn’t have any stock and consistently never has stock). He lied about delivery time frames and delivery windows. He verbally stated that it would be no later than 2 weeks, but probably sooner (within 3 days) but then preschedueld a delivery date for a month out from date of purchase. He rushed through the paperwork and never gave an opportunity to review it because all of the coworkers huddle up there to try to pressure you to hurry and sign I guess. It was like making a deal with rumpelstiltskin. JW fixed problems with our order and review adjusted to 4/5 stars. If you go here go with JW. He was very honest and forthcoming about delivery timeframe, and explained how the discounts work.

This was a very long process to get a clearance priced floor model. I picked it out fairly quick. The check out time was extremely long.
Be warned: there are employees here that will tell you that Ashleys online is a completely different company and they cannot price match nor can you do up to 60 month financing. This is a lie. Check your prices online before going in store as I assume they are bumped up for salesman commissions. Our first associate was a total fraud. Told us that pricing on a dining table couldn’t be matched and told us “good luck ordering online”. In our most recent experience, our associate was honest and super helpful. Ashleys has great quality furniture, but depending on the associate, you can lose out on big savings.
A very pleasant, unagressive experience. The sales person was very knowledgeable and friendly. Disappointed that both items weren't available currently, but it is what it is.
Let me start with this. Will never ever make another purchase from this location. Paid for 9000 dollars worth of furniture in cash on a Saturday morning. Asked the salesman and manager repeatedly if the items were in stock and can be delivered Tuesday. They both said absolutely no problem, you will get a txt Sunday with delivery time. Sunday came and went and nothing. Called the store Monday and was given the transfer run a round for 2 hours before they bellied up and said nothing is in stock. And then said we could wait another week and they will try to get it all here then deliver. I asked for an immediate refund and again got the run a round with them stating it will take a couple days. This store has no integrity but can lie very good once they have your money. The absolute worse experience in 50 years making a purchase of this amount to be treated and lied to like this. Never again and be forewarned.

We purchased a couch from Ashley less than a year ago and have had horrible experience. We purchased the warranty after being told by the salesman that our couch would immediately be replaced if there was any damage. That has not been the case they have sent out technicians and each time the couch seems to get worse. The arms of the couch have fallen apart, it’s completely sunken in and it’s probably the most poorly made couch we’ve ever had. We will never be purchasing from Ashley’s again. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra $$ to purchase a well-made couch that will last.
They open at 10, Monday-Saturday. I got my days mixed up due to my work schedule, so I forgot today was Sunday, which meant they didn’t open until noon. I got off work from the hospital at 7am, ran a few errands, then went to Ashley to wait for them to open. I got there around 9. I took a quick nap, still thinking they opened at 10. Wound up sleeping until about 11. Didn’t see anyone else around, which is when I realized what day it was. So I hung out until they opened. A couple minutes before noon, one of the managers (or so he claimed), Jeff, and another guy, approached my car. Jeff came around to my driver’s side window while the other guy stayed on the passenger side, looking around my backseat. Jeff didn’t ask me anything, like why I had been out there for so long, or anything like that. He told me that the other customers who had shown up *after* me were saying that I was making them uncomfortable. When I tried to explain the situation to him, he raised his hand and talked over me. He accused me of being homeless and just using their lot to sleep in my car. When I told him that I was there to buy a recliner, he raised his hand and talked over me again. He told me they were getting ready to call the cops on me. He told me to leave and go park in the Walmart parking lot instead. But I said “screw that, I’m here to buy something”, so I went in. The salesman JP who sold me my recliner was really nice and helpful, and while I was getting into my car, another manager (I didn’t catch her name) ran out and apologized for Jeff’s rude, unprofessional, childish behavior. Because Jeff is too much of a loser to apologize for himself.

I had a great experience with Andrea in Springfield, MO. I needed a recliner that could be used as a bed, if necessary. I have limited funds. She was so patient, kind and a good listener. Normally I would need an electric recliner because of lack of strength and mobility issues. Andrea went out of her way to accommodate me and we found a manual recliner. The side handle was light and didn't take a lot of strength. The bottom of the chair would fold undered when I leaded forward without me using my legs. Andrea made mine my day. She wasn't rushing me or pushing me to buy something I couldn't afford. She was "present" and attended to my needs both medically and financially. I had been to several other stores beforehand and the manual recliners were too difficult for me to maneuver. I am a very happy customer who was luckily enough to be treated with kindness, dignity and respect.

We purchased a lovely front room couch with 6 pieces. The salesman was professional at that point. We could have it delivered on Saturday the but chose the next week on Tuesday the 2nd of July. We didn’t get a call or contact as to the time as we expected. We contacted the store customer service and was told our delivery date was the 5th of July which was not the agreement. We tried to reach our salesman who said the furniture arrived to the store broken and they had to reorder. If that is the truth why were we not contacted but no one bothered knowing this was a 25th wedding anniversary’s surprise for my daughter in law on the 2nd. It took hours of calling to finally reach our salesman. He was not returning our calls. The communication from Ashley salesman was really poor on the verge of rude. We understand things happen but after 2 days of dealing with this we placed one last call and cancelled the entire nearly $5,000 order. When Louis finally returned our call Tuesday we requested a cancellation and repayment in full. He assured us our refund would show in 24 hours so far two days and no credit has been received. Guess what, it has not, nor would I expect any place of business to be able to refund that quickly and see this as just another mistruth. The bench we got has powder-post beetles, so we put in a claim because we got the extra protection plan. They denied it because in the contract it states rodent or insect infestation will not be covered. This is a manufacturing defect it is from the wood not being kiln dried correctly, it's only in one of the boards on the bench, you can see in the picture it's the lighter colored board only. DO NOT BUY FROM ASHLEY!! Google Ashley powder-post beetle apparently it's a thing with their real wood furniture!!!

I paid for furniture in full at the time of selection. They never delivered, and never contacted me. I had to spend over an hour on the phone trying to rectify the situation. They took my money on furniture that was no longer available and failed to contact me about the situation. I asked for another piece of equal value because I didn't feel I should have to pay more. Offered me another piece, but more expensive, expecting me to pay the overage. I do not recommend them at all.

I am disappointed and dissatisfied with the product and service I received at Ashleys. Despite the salesman's great performance, the item arrived in a damaged state, and I didn't notice it immediately due to my busy work schedule. It was delivered midweek and I opened the following week on my day off. When I finally had time to fully unwrap the dresser, I discovered a significant indent on the top. Unfortunately, when I contacted Ashley’s, they requested photos, a time line, and Miscellaneous information. The following day they reached out and told me it was too late to report the issue, and they couldn't do anything about it. I am appalled they refused to take any action when I contacted them. If I wanted to buy something that needed fixed I can assure you I wouldn’t have purchased a dresser that was a grand!!!!! I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with the product, customer service, and overall experience.

I wish I could rate 0 stars. Super shady business practices. They have charged us $1600 for a table and chair set that was only $869 on their own website. When we went back to raise the issue they continually said “we aren’t Ashley furniture” and “we’re a different business”. They told me the protection plan was $150 dollars, but charged me $349.99. They’re doing business as Ashley Furniture but charging twice as much for the same items due to “having a storefront and over head”. Save the time, order the item online. This is why businesses are going under. Slimy used car salesmen feel.
Aaron wasn't pushy or arrogant. He showed me several options of exactly what I explained I was looking for. He then helped me narrow it down to just the right item. The entire experience was easy and non stressful.
We just moved to Springfield and didn’t bring our old living room furniture. We chose Ashleys because we have had great success with there furniture in the past. The Ashley’s in Springfield is a great place to get furniture. Our sales reps were great to work with and they know the products very well.

Very unpleased with my most recent experience. Went in for a mattress. Knew our budget before we entered the store. Upon our initial greeting, the salesman brought over the TemperPedic specialist. We immediately made clear we were not interested in that particular brand or the price point. The salesman still made his pitch for the sale and wasted much of our time. We had three children with us ranging from 2 years to 10 years. Even as a potential buyer, we are parents first and had to keep watch over our children. This was not important to the salesman. When we finally made the decision on a different brand, now began the up sale for a very expensive mattress protector and new pillows. Upon our choice to purchase a protector, we were then given instructions on where to sign. During this process it was made clear to me that I had 48 hours to cancel my order. I asked a few questions and continued on. When finished, I grabbed my family and went to our vehicle in a downpour of rain. Along with me, we took the mattress protector as well. After the evening, to take more time to consider the necessity of the protector at the price point we paid, we made the decision to return the protector to save money and buy one for ourselves elsewhere. The next morning I returned to the store to return the protector. I was told by the salesman that had me sign the documents that it could not be returned once it left the store. I said “excuse me?” “You told me we have 48 hours to cancel our order, that’s what I’m doing with this protector.” She then says again that their policy is that it cannot be returned after it leaves the store. At this point I leave very upset. I called the store later that day to speak with a manager about the lack of knowledge about this very unfriendly customer service policy. Of course there was no manager available. I then called the store operations number and voiced my concerns to her. I was told she would email the store directly and have the manager contact me. Three days passed and I never heard a word. I called the store operations line a second time, gave my story again and was once again told I’d be contacted. Same experience. Never received a call, email, text, apology or anything. I am extremely disappointed in my experience. I have spent thousands of dollars spanning over a decade. After this experience, I will no longer spend my hard earned money at Ashley Furniture. They have lost my business over an absurd and unfriendly customer service policy. This needs to be looked into for future customers. I will never go back!

UPDATE: My delivery was suppose to be Tuesday. They canceled and reset for Thursday. They again canceled and offered Saturday. I've canceled the order for a refund. xxxxxxxxxxx I visited on a Saturday morning looking for specific items with a specific budget. I was immediately swarmed by salespeople and it felt like a car lot complete with a finance manager and store manager introducing themselves. After declining a "test drive" of the premium mattresses that I had no interest in, I finally purchased a sofa and a bed-in-the-box mattress that I had already found on the web site for cash. I can't give 5 stars because of the sales atmosphere that is a turn off to me. But they do have a lot to see if you must feel and touch before you buy.

I typically don’t leave reviews however when a person does an outstanding job I feel like it’s only the least I can do to help encourage them to keep helping others and help other customers feel at ease when looking for assistance. I am currently moving and really wanted to vamp up my bed. I had browsed on Ashely’s furniture website but had never stepped foot into their store. To be honest it was a little overwhelming because there was so much to look at and even if I had a general idea of what I wanted it was still a lot to process. That’s when Louis approached me and my sister and really took the time to get to know what my end goal was as far as what I wanted to leave Ashley’s furniture with. From someone that struggles with anxiety and feeling a bit stressed out about purchasing new furniture, Louis was so reassuring and very chill. I loved his ability and knowledge to inform me about the payment plan that I decided to go forward with as well as his overall kindness. Thank you Louis for making this one of the best experiences I’ve had with a sales representative. I most certainly will be coming back and encourage all my friends and family to check out Ashley’s with Louis!
I went to 4 different stores on 2 different occasions looking at loveseats and sofas before deciding. Bailey was by far the best sales rep and ultimately the reason I purchased a sofa from Ashley Furniture.
I wish there was a way to give no stars, one star gives them WAY to much credit. Nothing but issues. Picked the couch out and said he has them in stock at the warehouse I can go pick it up tomorrow 8am or the day after for home delivery. Cool I will go rent a trailer and be there at 8am. Not only did they make me pay up front with out seeing it in store. They had the same couch with different material ( different model ). They called me on the way home to tell me my card didn’t go through the system glitched I needed to come back. I have already rented a trailer I said I will come by in the morning and see what’s going on before I pick the couch up. Next morning I get a text “Did that charge ever fall off? “ like ok that’s real professional. Remind you I paid in full, they said I was good gave me paper work and all. Next morning all this is happening remind you before 8am, they text saying will have to refund you. Terrible service. If you think your life is good and want a headache and love dealing with lying salesmen go see my boy LOUIS TAYLOR! He is there 24/7 to ruin your day! Honest review I’m sure it will be removed soon! Ask for LOUIS TAYLOR if he works there save your time and money go elsewhere!

My wife and I stopped here to shop for a new living room set. There was ample supplies to choose from. The employee who assisted us was not pushy and was very helpful. When we informed them that we were going to shop at the stores next door to Ashley furniture, two different employees stated that we would be back in 10 minutes. We did not come back in 10 minutes, we purchased from another location.
I didn't intend to buy any furniture today when I went into Ashley's to look for a reclining loveseat. But the process was seemless. I sat in the loveseat I was considering while I filled out the credit app...knew in less than 30 seconds how much I was approved for and I had already decided on the loveseat and before I knew it...I not only decided on the loveseat but the matching couch along with a new table and chairs. Andrea, the sales woman was kind, helpful, and very friendly. I appreciated her assistance and answering all my questions. Thank you!

Great salesman Billy. When I ordered my bed, I asked for it to be delivered as soon as possible. That was Tuesday, now it's Friday night and I still don't have a bed. This late delivery issue has caused me a lot of problems. I cannot recommend Ashely, certainly not delivery, to anyone.
We have been purchasing furniture from Ashley's for years, but they have really gone down hill. About a month ago we purchased two new sofas, two glider chairs, and new cabinet for our record player. They delivered the cabinet with pre-existing damage to the top. I noticed the damage as they were carrying it in. They refused to take the item back, and rather, insisted I call customer service. The item had to be totally replaced. Today, after having the gliders for over a week a piece of the arm is coming loose. It was clearly never stitched. I called customer service and was redirected to a webpage to file my claim with an automated assistant. I did try calling our sales rep who provided me us no value other than to call customer service. Beware, as soon as they drop the furniture at your house you're on your own. You will get zero help from the sales team or the local management. They have lost a very long time customer.

I thought it was ok. I was impressed with 5 year warranty until I learned I had to pay for it. I passed on that. One item on floor had a broken floor recliner lever.

Avoid this store at all costs. I paid over $1600.00 for a recliner with the lift in it. I'm a combat vet with a jacked up back and hip. I received the recliner and the metal frame is broken. The store employee said they were sorry but that's it. So, I'm stuck with a broken new recliner. Avoid this building of liars and cheats at all costs.
Our sales man was Jeff. He did an excellent job. He was honest, did everything he could to work with us and get our furniture. I know I was skeptic, it may have seemed like I was doubtful of Jeff. But, I believed Jeff to be honest. He genuinely wanted to see us through the sale. He did a fantastic job, and I will ask for him in the future. If the rating was just Jeff. I would have given it 5 stars. I rated 4 stars, because they have all contracts read through on the day of sale, instead of giving the customer time to go over the contract. Which creates pressure on the customer to sign things recklessly. Thats not the employee's fault. Its the company's fault. They say no pressure sale, but that can be a high pressure situation, and wastes time of the salesman. Which isnt fair to them. Jeff understood my concerns. He set up an appointment with the manager at the time of signing to ask questions. I appreciated it. Unfortunately, I cant recall the managers name. She did great as well.
One chair is broken. Haven’t even owned it a week No one has even sat in this chair! Second time with Ashley! Both times horrible experience! Only came back as my parents got a nice set that has lasted. First set didn’t make it a year! No in store customer service! Now I’m being told I’ll be called back. Will be returning the set and going elsewhere!

I typically only buy my furniture at Ashley's and I just recently just bought 2 rocking recliners. They will be delivered this coming Saturday and we can't wait. He came highly recommended by two of my friends and he did not disappoint. This store is the biggest scam. I have no idea how they could be considered “reputable”. They will send you broken furniture and tell you it’s not their problem. You’ll have a peice of furniture break within a year and somehow your warranty doesn’t cover anything. Head my warning, especially if you spend much money, you will not get your moneys worth. Go to lazy boy. They will take care of you now and later.

Service was great Jeff was very helpful , selection was pretty good too , value is horrible. When you spend 6 or 7 hundred dollars on a TV stand it should come assembled not in a box like Amazon. Apparently they put it together if you get it delivered otherwise you might as well save some cash and go to ikea or Amazon.

Ashley Furniture in Springfield MO is terrible. You can never get anyone on the line for customer service. They only care about sales not customer service. I ordered a mattress & they're talking about delivering it in 3 weeks. I'd rather it be shipped to me directly & not through they're horrible delivery service or warehouse. I could get it faster if I ordered it from China.

My husband and I had a GREAT experience at the Ashley Store. We were "just looking" when we went in and Billy greeted us. We knew we were not ready to have something delivered but found exactly what we wanted at the right price and found out they would deliver about a month later when we were ready. And no charge on our credit card until delivery! There was NO hard sell, just a friendly talk about what we were looking for and Billy directed us to the part of the store where we could explore the options. He let us wander and then showed us the exact chair we wanted/needed. This is our second purchase from Ashley (a love seat 2 years ago) and this will be the only store we visit when we need furniture. We know they have great advertised sales and had not seen one lately, but got 20% off, even though there had been no announced sale. Normally we don't buy the warranty but if you don't use it by the time it is up, you get what you paid for it in a store credit. How fair is that???

Sales Scam 101: The Misery I went through.. As soon as I signed the dotted line and committed to paying… They gave me the wrong bed frame & the one that they did give me had missing parts. After 2 months of hassling with customer service, NOBODY was able to fix the broken bed frame i had received, not too satisfied i went to this store to talk to the manager and she said “she wasn't going to feel threatened in her store” because i quote on quote “threatened”. a bad review if they would be unable to help me.

My wife has brain cancer and it has been a brutal fight. A few months ago she was hospitalized twice for both memory loss and loss of strength. When she was discharged from the hospital her mother and sister chipped in to buy her a lift chair to help her regain some level of independence. By the time the chair came in, my mother in law had returned to her home in Colorado. Because the chair was purchased with my mother-in-law's information and the incompetence of the store and their policies it took me over a week and multiple phone calls. Now, only a few months later the chair is having mechanical issues. I called the warranty department and they decided to send parts and then schedule a repair tech once the parts arrived. They arrived yesterday. I called to inform them of their arrival and to make sure nothing happened in error I asked to make sure that the repair tech was sent to the right address here in Missouri where the chair actually is. Well, back down the we can't do anything because someone bought a piece of furniture for someone else rabbit hole we go. This isn't rocket surgery, the chair is here and if there's any question that this is the same chair, I'm certain there's a serial number on it somewhere that can verify it. I never thought I'd see a private company as incompetent as the DMV but here we are, living that dream with Ashley furniture. Also, o don't know if you only have one person that answers the phone with the warranty department or if you just get too many calls because your furniture is junk and breaks that often but you should consider hiring more customer service reps. I started calling yesterday to inform them that the parts were in but twice had to hang up because I had other things to do a d was on hold for over 30 minutes. Today, I was placed in hold for over 47 minutes and when someone finally picked up they were so garbled I had to ask what they said and was immediately put into an automated system asking of I was satisfied with the customer service then hung up on immediately. After another 30 plus minutes of holding on the second call I finally spoke with someone who really couldn't help me much because what she cited as company policy. All of this because someone purchased a chair for someone else. It shouldn't be this complicated.

Quality of furniture has really gone down hill. Over priced for the lack of quality. Doors on cabinets won’t shut right due to hinges not being properly placed. Boards are warped. Drawers have cheap rollers. High school kids in shop class can make better quality

We brought our 2 youngest kids and she was amazing with them! Our kids are shy and they took right to her and even hugged her as we left!! The staff were so friendly and made us all feel welcome. They had a good selection of affordable recliners and we had two delivered. Their delivery men were also nice and understanding of my son who was extra excited to see the Ashley logo on their shirts and the big truck. Such a great experience.

The sales team was great to help us out, especially while we were there with our 4 kids. Unfortunately, the surprise extra charge when it came time to pay left a pretty sour taste. They also had a BOGO on pillows, however they only had one in store which will require me to drive another 2 hour round trip to pick it up, because for some reason it can’t be delivered with the furniture we purchased.
I was told by Cody Elwood and another salesperson that the leather automatic loveseat with a console could have the console removed. They told me their delivery men could do that for me. Then when the men arrived today, I was told if it was not removable because there would be a gap remaining where the console had been. I don’t care for consoles. I think they cheapen the look of the furniture. I also dislike being mislead by people. I’m not a happy customer and will be sharing my experience with friends and the internet.
When you walk in just ask for Louis. This guy still know what "customer bliss" is! Such a refreshing experience compared to so many brick & mortar businesses these days. Louis was an excellent salesman and I will return!!

Found a couch that was on sale for $700 that was comfortable and the wife approved of. That alone would have been worth the trip. What surprised me was how thoughtful the salesman was. He told my wife and I that he was going to be close by if there were any questions but he wasn’t going to bother us. He was always close enough for me to flag down but never bothered us or tried to sell me anything. He treated us like people and not just customers. Nobody likes a pushy sales person. He just rang me up and answered my questions about the warranty and where to pick up the couch I purchased. A wonderful experience. I will be shopping here again.

If there were a zero star, I would give it. More than$1000 for a reclining couch and it didn't last 6 months before becoming so broken it's unusable. This is after our furniture was not delivered on the agreed schedule. After repeated calls to get warranty covered repair over two months, there has still been no repair and no response from Ashley other than they are looking in to it. They have lost us as customer's forever, and we'll be exploring a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Do yourself a favor and spend more at Haverty's, and make sure the furniture is not made of particle board, aluminum, and pleather like this one. Update 3/6/24: after 4 months of waiting, wrong parts being delivered, Ashley employees telling us if we wanted good furniture we shouldn't buy from Ashley, automated text responses that make no sense, and a couch that gets more broken by the day Ashley informed us that because we moved 4 days ago, months after filing the warranty claim, our warranty is voided. Their last response was, " if there's anything else we can do, don't hesitate to contact us. " No, thank you, you did enough when you ripped us off with crap furniture and refused to honor your warranty. We don't need anymore of your"help". We're off to buy better furniture!

Ordered furniture 21.2 months ago still no furniture had to take off work to schedule delivery and they didn’t show up. Didn’t get advertised Black Friday gifts either. I am now canceling my order as nothing has been completed as promised.

Ashley furniture has nice furniture at reasonable prices but has the WORST customer service. No one knows what department handles what. I had a 2 month old power recliner break and it was horrendous to try to talk with someone about it. Got the run around (too long to go into here). It took two months and several trips to the store and phone calls. Now my sister who bought the same chair as I did is going through the same thing. HORRIBLE> Wish I could give negative stars.

Worst experience I have ever had. Took forever to purchase a couch, my car purchase took less time. They lied about delivery, they lied on shipping and they lied on credit back to my card for an item they could not guarantee. Run away from this store, it's not worth it.
Everyone at Ashley Furniture was helpful. Jake K., Bailey and the Sales Manager. Showed us all of our options and made us feel we where educated on all the choices. Then the sales manager went out of his way to provide us with the best price. He spent a lot of time helping us find an affordable option. - Bought TV stand & Dining Table/ chairs in store- were told one item would be available on a Monday, next item available on the following Saturday….. and that we’d get a text 48 hours prior to that as a confirmation. - Never got a confirmation text. SO, we called the Friday prior, and they confirmed items would be ready Monday to be picked up. - Called again Saturday to confirm again- they said everything would be ready Monday to be picked up. - Monday- still no text. We looked online and saw the warehouse was closed on Mondays. SO, we called and they confirmed warehouse is closed on Mondays, so we’d need to schedule another day. SO, we scheduled for Tuesday to pick up. - Tuesday my husband shows up at designated time and had to wait an hour for items. He brings it home, and most of the parts to the TV stand are broken/ damaged. He calls immediately and was asked to email photos of all damaged parts- so he did. The lady says it’s too late to submit the warranty tonight, so it would be submitted first thing next morning and that he’d get a call regarding the status…… - Wednesday- NO confirmation call. I called mid day and was told nothing was ever submitted, but that she would submit it while I was on the phone, and was told she’d request an entire replacement for us, and that we’d get a call the next day with status update. - Thursday- NO confirmation call. I called and the guy told me nothing had ever been submitted and requested photos to be sent! I explained my husband already emailed photos 2 days before!! I asked to speak to a supervisor due to multiple mixed messages, he told me a supervisor would be calling me soon. - I waited an hour and called back….. lady told me we had called multiple times and multiple warrantee requests had been submitted and that it takes 72 hours to get an answer on those. - Friday day a supervisor called me, I expressed our horrible customer service experience. He told me we would be getting replacement parts, NOT an entire replacement, despite already being told we’d get an entire replacement… and to call when we received the parts, and that they would then send out a person to put the TV stand together for us. - Saturday we received the replacement parts. - Monday I called to request someone to come put it together and then we were told “they don’t come put it together when we didn’t have it delivered, and it was originally a pick up…. and that we’d have to put it together ourselves.” When my husband opened the boxes they were ALL the WRONG parts AND almost all were damaged!! - What a horrible unprofessional customer service experience this has been!!

The salesman and service was excellent. However, it was a surprise Christmas gift for my daughter, and I was told there was no way they would call or text her, and they did!!! 2 or 3x before the item was delivered! A week before it was to be delivered! Then, when I called the store to tell them, they even called and emailed and texted 2 or 3 more times!!! I am still not happy about this and would like to talk to a manager!
Jamey was beyond fantastic! We walked in was able to look around and feel the place out before being approached which was nice. Usually you walk in and someone is racing towards you. We talked, he got to know us, I was very specific on what I wanted and he took me to the correct section of the store where my family found the perfect sofa and love seat! As we were doing paperwork and sitting together, I said this is beyond perfect and my house will look amazing because of Jamey and my husband good choices! Thank you!

I had a really poor experience with this Ashley store. They were very hard to get in touch with and my table came 10 days after the promised delivery date. I was not compensated at all for this delay, and the staff seemed apathetic to the whole situation. Will definitely not be shopping here again.
I called 3 times just to get a quote. Once I received a price then I had to call again. When I finally spoke to someone that was able to get me the price we had such a bad phone connection I could hardly hear nor understand what they said. This person only said they knew the connection was terrible. I. Finally just called AGAIN. The payment email ended up being difficult to download the link to make my payment. The payment took 4 attempts to finalize. The best customer service came from Jennifer from Dufresne Customer Service dept. She stayed on the line with me until it was fully processed. Kutos to Jennifer! We finally finished it this afternoon! I hope my replacement parts come in a shorter timeframe than the order process became. The text I received stated they received an “emergency” message?? There wasn’t an emergency, only a complete lack of customer service. This really should have only taken possibly 2 calls and a few minutes to get replacement cushions. Unfortunately I’ve been working on this most of the week to simply get customer service. Everything was fine when purchasing a new chair. What I am not happy with is the fact the sales woman said she would talk to her associate and get delivery charge either no charge or a lower price. I should have looked closer at invoice. after I was away from store looked and Saw a $169.00 delivery charge. I’m only an hour away would have never agreed to this charge had I known. Was going to drive the hour and pick up chair tomorrow as they were closed Sunday and Monday. We called to cancel delivery and then told oh the chair is not available until next Saturday. Was told by sales people that all we had to do is drive to factory and chair would be available to pick up. Now it is not available for almost a week. Don’t tell me one thing and then change in less than 24 hours I’m so tempted to cancel and go with a Lazy Boy chair. I have 48 hours to cancel. I’m out now looking to see if Lazy Boy has a w I want.

About a year ago I purchased 2 sofas and ottomans and a dining room set totaling over $10,000. We all purchased the additional protection plans for each of their sets that we purchased. We discovered that the frame was broken in the oversized ottoman on one of the sofas. I contacted the company we purchased they addition protection through they declined the claim because it was a structure issue that should be covered the the warranty from Ashley Furniture. In October, I contacted Ashley customer service process about the issue and they said someone would contact me with 48 hours to come look at the damage. Several weeks passed with no contact. I contacted them again and was told the claim was closed. I reopened the claim and again was told within 24-28 hours I would be contacted. Again nothing. I tried to contact them through another channel via text. I was asked is we sat on the ottoman. I said, "It was a piece of furniture" and we told that voided the warranty. I've attempted to talk to people higher up the leadership at Ashley and each team has been denied. The customer service process at Ashley is broken. Their warranties are worthless, their follow-up is non existent. I've attempted to resolve this issue in a professional manner but their customer service process does not allow for that to take place. I will never purchase anything from this store again and will encourage others not to purchase anything again. They ottoman was only about $500 of the $10,000 total. They would prefer to lose a customer for life who will influence others not to purchase from their store again as well rather than work to find a solution to their terrible product and even worse costumer service system. Any assistance you can give to correct the issue or help others avoid making the same mistake would be greatly appreciated.

Customer service was absolutely great. Buy my sales associate I couldn’t ask for a better one. Pricing on my mattress that I thought was a little high priced. Delivery time was outrageous. And they sold me a couch that was out of stock. I have to wait two months for my couch, which I think that is absolutely ridiculous. Had they told me that I had to wait two months for the couch I probably wouldn’t have bought it. I just moved into my new place and Willard and I have no seating area in my living room. Financing was very quickly done which I appreciate that.

Worst customer service ever! I can't get anyone on the phone or to come out and fix a broken dresser drawer that was delivered defective upon arrival. It's been three months! Do not order from them!
Me and my wife recently got new furniture, everything was great the sales guy wasn't pushy and was able to be found quickly and easily to answer any and all questions. was told 8 weeks on getting it here and that was no problem, when the problems started was there was no phone call letting me know my furniture was in, my pick up date was scheduled on a Monday and the distribution center is closed on a Monday luckily I had done some research before I drove an hour to get there and seen the doors woulda been closed. I understand things happen and I'm not the only customer but I couldn't even call the store because the automation wont give you that option no matter what you say or numbers you push. If I ever come back to get anything more I will be sure to get a store phone number that actually rings into someone's phone and not a call center.

THE WORST customer service I have ever experienced in my entire life. IF I could rate them a 0/5 I would. They have done nothing but lie to me for weeks now. Every single time I talk to someone there I get lied to. between order status, "damage", on order, to things flat out sitting, and even now it's impossible to get a refund. I've been told 3 times it's been issued but when I call customer service I'm told a different thing every time.
Would rate zero stars if possible. This store has horrible customer service. We were lied to about the delivery of our purchase and then told too bad when we complained. The girl on the phone even laughed at my husband when he told her how disappointed we were in our service. They do not care at all as long as they get your money. Buyer beware.

Got approval Labor Day weekend. Took two weeks and they would never call back. Finally ordered a couch and was told it would be here first week of October. They messed up the application and the. We were told it would be October 10th. A week before it was suppose to be here we were informed it would be here November 12th. Called last week and was informed it would be here October 27th. Called tonight to verify and it won’t be here til November 22nd. Don’t bother talking to anyone at the store. They don’t call back or respond to messages. Very disappointed with the customer service and the whole buying experience. 100% would never do business here again.

I purchased almost $3000 in living room furniture on Oct 20 and I was told by the sales person to expect the furniture to be delivered NO LATER than Nov 11, that deliveries were running 2 to 3 weeks out. I explained we were having company for Thanksgiving and it was imperative we have the furniture before Thanksgiving so family would have a place to sit. Nov 11 came and went and no delivery or no call from Ashley. When I called yesterday, Nov 13., I was told the furniture would be delivered Nov 24 the day after Thanksgiving. You can imagine how mad I am. All of the existing furniture in the living room was given away on Nov 10 in anticipation of a Nov 11 delivery. We now have a living room with no furniture other than lawn chairs brought in from outside and a house full of family coming for Thanksgiving dinner with no place to sit. The sales rep either flat out lied about when to expect delivery or is incompetent. I have purchased a lot of furniture from Ashley over the years but this will be my last!! I even called the store yesterday to talk to someone and was put on hold for 20 minutes.
Dante was friendly and professional. He listened to what I wanted and showed me those options. He didn’t show me things other than what I specified and I appreciated that. He also accommodated that I needed to go home to measure and then work over the phone to complete the transaction. I would certainly visit Ashley again based on my experience with him. **update** taking my money was where the good experience ended. The first couch they delivered was broken. They ordered a replacement but no one ever contacted me to say when I’d have it. I called a few weeks later and they said it would be another 6 weeks. You have to call different locations each time you need something. The store employees are useless for anything other than taking money and they do not return phone calls even when they say they will. Bottom line: this is not a full service location that gives good customer service from beginning to end. Cannot recommend.

Really like the sales woman. Very surprised at the rate for delivery of an item that was over 2K (Nebraska Furniture offers free delivery) Got a little irritated that during the checkout process our sales person answered the house phone when there were at least 6 or 7 men standing around doing nothing. Maybe next time if there is someone with a customer, someone who isn’t helping a customer should take the inbound phone calls.

When we were shopping for new furniture we were told 5 day delivery. When we made our purchase 5 days later delivery time was estimated to be 14 days. Disappointed. Another case of a salesman over promising and under delivering.

I’m giving one star and that’s only because I liked the lady who helped us get our bed, after that everything has been awful. Two days ago I purchased a bed that was originally supposed to be delivered on Friday, they are supposed to text you 24 hours before delivery, I get a text today (Tuesday) 3 days before and they give me 10 seconds to reply before rescheduling my order for TWO WEEKS LATER I go to the store and of course nobody can help me and it also can’t be delivered to the store. I’m extremely unhappy with the situation and the fact that nobody can seem to figure out why it texted me so early or why & who rescheduled the delivery. I have documentation of the original delivery date and now, two days later, it’s not able to be delivered on Friday when it was originally scheduled for and I already purchased the bed.
JP worked with us and showed us diff options for what we were needing. He also helped us get the payment the method that worjed best for us . So far Ashley hss been a good experience.

The salesperson, Billy, was so helpful, When asked questions he answered in clear and understandable terms. This was important as my husband and I are both senior senior citizens and some people do not take the time to make themselves understood. So I was told they would take away my old twin mattress and as soon as they came with my new twin mattress, they wouldn't take my old one. I will never buy from these company again!!!

We recently bought a power reclining sofa from Ashley. It was a much better furniture buying experience than any other place we went to. The sales people were helpful, but not pushy, and they really worked hard to find just the right sofa for us. Jamey, the sales guy we dealt with at the Springfield MO Independence St location was super nice, and put so much effort in to making sure we were happy. He did a great job answering all of our TONS of questions. We took up a lot of his time, but he never rushed us or acted bothered. Overall, it was a great experience.

We purchased a table and chair set for 8, as well as a sofa and loveseat. We were told it would take a couple of weeks to be ready for pick up at the distribution center in Republic. We called one week prior to confirm the pick up time, and to our surprise, we were told that we would first need to pay for the items before we could pick them up. The surprising part was the fact that we paid for the items in full when we purchased them in store. After several hours, we were called back and notified that the salesperson who waited on us was new and that she didn’t ‘attach a file’ but that they now could see we did pay for the items. The following week we called to make sure the items arrived at the warehouse and were available to pick up, and we were then told our order was cancelled. We did not cancel our order. We were told that we would receive a phone call back from the manager at the Springfield location to figure out next steps. We never received a phone call back, so instead we called the call center. The call center rep was able to locate our order and confirmed it was not cancelled and that we could pick it up. We still have never received a call back from the manager. We rented a moving truck to pick up our order and brought it back to our new house. When we unboxed it, we noticed the table has been scuffed and glued back in on the side. The sofa’s sidearm was not flush with the back of the sofa, causing the screwed in upholstery to come out. When we called the store, we were told to speak with the escalated store operations. When we called the escalated store operations, Susan told us that when we pick up an item from the distribution center, it’s on us. Bear in mind that when we picked up the items, they were wrapped in boxes and we could not see the damage until we opened them up. Susan said that someone would call us back and then hung up on us. Given Ashley Furniture’s track record of not returning calls, we aren’t holding our breath. We will NEVER EVER purchase from Ashley Furniture again, and will make sure everyone we have ever met hears of our experience.

I went in to look at king beds I entered my current income info for approval. The sales lady at Springfield Mo did not like the amount approved so she took the laptop from me. And I am guessing increased my income considerably to get the amount she wanted to have my account approved to buy an expensive bed with platform This seems to be illegal?? Should I pursue actions?

Please read this review. My grandmother went in there to purchase a mattress a few months ago. They told her that she had a 90 day return policy. She went in there before the 90 days was up and they said there was nothing they could do. It was only 30 days I didn’t know about this to a few months afterwards my grandmother started crying and opening up to me because I asked her what was wrong. She said she hasn’t been able to sleep since she bought the mattress mattress she wanted was only $1000 in the one they talked her into buying what is 2500 non-only was she up sold she was scammed then they told her she need to sleep on the mattress for 90 days to see if she likes it or not but the thing here it is they want you to sleep on the mattress that way they don’t have to return it because you done slept on it. I would really watch your guys his back purchasing anything from this company.

My husband had to hunt down a sales person after waiting at the counter for over 15 minutes. My husband finally found one and he was nice and helpful. This was on August 24th. He informed us that it wouldn't be delivered to us until September 6th which we agreed because we had no choice. A few days before the delivery date I received a phone call saying our bedroom set furniture would not be delivered on the date we were told and that I would have to call Ashley store and reschedule. I called on September 5th and I had to deal with an automated phone system. It informed me that it was going to be 2 more weeks. This will end up being a month or maybe longer. We have an empty room and we're having family to come and stay at our house next week. It's too late now for us to go somewhere else so we'll just have to make due. Our 1st shopping experience at this store was great and our $7500 mattress that I need for my damaged spine was delivered on time as promised. I would like to think that think that this $3400 order will come with some kind of compensation

Ashley furniture is a joke. I just recently moved and I ordered a dining table from them, the next day I get an email telling me they canceled my order. I called to figure out what is going on and they said they canceled it because they couldn’t verify my address. I verified my address with them and let them know it is correct and to please undo the cancellation. They would not and told me I had to go into the store and replace my order. No thanks, I’ll just take my business elsewhere

I do not recommend buying furniture from Ashley. After going back and forth with the salesman about the correct configuration my sectional needed to be it was delivered incorrectly. The men who delivered my sectional were 3 hours early and standing on my front porch with the whole thing ready to go by the time I got home. I tried to refuse the sectional but the men told me I couldn’t. I immediately called the emergency customer service line to get it fixed. I was told someone would contact me after giving me a claim number. I waited a few days before going into the store. The sales manager Jason told me there was nothing they could do and had to wait for their operations manager to contact me. A week later I have sent numerous emails and no one has returned any of them. I have a pet who I am trying to keep off the furniture so I am confined to my small bedroom for the last 3 weeks. I am so unsatisfied and need this resolved now. I will be reporting to the BBB.

My sales rep was great. Anyone involved past the point of making the sale could have cared less. Purchased 2 couches, 2 beds & a mattress. Reaching out to the Springfield store directly was near impossible, but luckily my rep gave me his cell number, so he was able to help me & even offered to come in on his day off. Couch was missing a back cushion, so they shipped a replacement to me. Mattress was on backorder, so I was told it would arrive in August (I ordered in June.) I was out of town the last week of July without access to my phone, which is when the mattress came in. I had voicemails beginning July 25 telling me it was ready for pickup & to call to schedule my pickup. I called August 2 when I returned to schedule the pickup. After discussing package dimensions & needing to schedule pickup, the call went blank. The rep wasn't responding to anything, so I hung up. Although I had verified my call back number multiple times "in case the call was disconnected" no one called me back. I then responded to an email from a rep that I had received, letting me know I needed to schedule my pickup by August 7 before they canceled my order. I responded to let them know about the call & let her know I'd be picking up the mattress the following day. The rep responded again, letting me know she would notate the order & extend the pickup window into September since I had originally requested a late pickup due to construction. I went to pick up the mattress, where I was told the mattress wasn't there. The lady at the front desk didn't bother to look into it any further & told me to look up the customer service number and call them. She had zero interest of assisting any further. Couldn't even be bothered to give me the phone number. I called customer service, where I was told the order was still in process & hadn't been delivered to the fulfillment center yet, although I have multiple voicemails telling me my order was available for pickup. I was told it is scheduled to arrive August 5. I drove an hour to pick this up. The representative I spoke with yesterday called me back today to let me know her request to have the mattress delivered to me instead of pickup (since I wasted a trip to Springfield) was denied b/c "after so many days" of me not returning calls, the order was canceled, and I would need to reach out to the store directly again. One week of me not responding to voicemails is all Ashley gives before canceling orders....even though I have an email from an Ashley Rep stating I have until August 7 before my order is canceled. I am completely baffled & disappointed by the level of service, which is next to none, we have received over this order. The only reason I am giving Ashley 2-stars is b/c of the great service Louis provided me. We had every intention of going back for 2 new recliners once construction is done, but this has been the biggest mess.

COSTUMER SERVICE AFTER YOU PAY FOR IT IS A NIGHTMARE . I have spent hours trying to get answers WHY I was told I had a delivery date and took time of of work and at the last minute was told my furniture was not there . Two times . I wish they would of said something when we brought it . We sold our other furniture . Bedroom and living room so it ready for new . We had nothing to sleep on and no ware to sit in our living room. IThe front desk transfer you back to the warehouse and he really can not tell you much but it’s not there and I asked to talk to a manager and he tell you he’ll transfer you BUT it might take a while and let me say he was so correct . It was like 2 and a half hours . He had to take care of customers in store first . I guess like us to make the sale . He was not much help either. He said he’ll make a few calls . They did give us a small check for all the problems but still could not give us a date . We finally got our furniture. But , we had two deliveries. First living room and weeks later we got our bed . I do have to say our salesman was fantastic but not to much afterwards. The delivery men where really good too . Really took the time to make sure everything was good. Tipped them the money we got back for our problems. It’s sad they do not treat you with good customer service after you spend over 11 thousand dollars with them. I hate to see how the warranty would go if I had a problem.
Where to start? We ordered an unassembled dresser from Ashley in Springfield, MO back in March. When we finally received it from back order in April, it took us over two hours to assemble it because of how poorly it was manufactured. There were serious flaws and some of the bolts given to us to hold the drawers were they need to be, couldn’t even be threaded through. We call the store and they get us in touch with the company we need to call to come out and see if they can fix it or be sent a replacement. They can’t even come until June! June finally comes and they come and say well they can’t fix it and they couldn’t even be paid enough money to put this piece of furniture together because it was essentially a piece of junk. So we wait a few weeks and I go into the store because I have yet to hear from the company. The manager puts in an emergency request to have to company reach out to me regarding our piece of furniture. It’s been almost a month now and I still have yet to hear anything. It’s truly unfortunate because we spent a lot of money on other furniture as well but this experience has been so bad that I will tell everyone I know to stay away. Customer service in the stores is a joke and they don’t even take us seriously.
The furniture we chose is built extremely well. Also the salesman was very helpful and not pushy. He gave us privacy to talk if we wanted. He was knowledgeable about the product.

I purchased a chaise sofa sleeper for $799. Got home and receipt showed he sold me a chaise sofa with no sleeper, and when i questioned it, he said that the sleeper was $999. They would not stand by their deal. I canceled the order and will never shop Ashley again despite needing a bedroom set, dining set, coffee table, and sofa. That was an expensive $200 decision for Ashley.

Received a recliner on March 21. Drivers were pleasant and the set up was okay. Had to have a service call a few weeks later because the massage function stopped working. Repair man was conscientious and it worked perfectly for him. The next time I tried it again it would not work. I called 3 weeks ago and still had not received a response as of today 7/10 so I called the store, but they are ALWAYS too busy to answer a call and a callback doesn't happen. I texted the number provided for service assistance and it took an hour and a half for a response. Finally got a response but whoever's on the other end is very slow with any response. They've now ordered parts which will take 7-14 days to deliver then I have to reach out to THEM to schedule a service call. I spent 40 years working in Customer Service and have to say this is the poorest/worst example of "Service" I've ever seen. I'd advise anyone considering a purchase from Ashley to think twice. The service after the sale is sorely lacking anything even remotely resembling "Service".

Delivered and setup as promise. Delivery crew very professional. Store was having wifi problems when I made my purchase. I got nervous when 2 days after I paid I still had no delivery date. Went to the store to ask my sales-person why he couldn't give me an estimate. He told me to talk to the person in charge at a desk in the middle of the store. That person gave me my delivery date. Gotta ask: why couldn't the sales person have gone over to that desk and to get an answer? Only reason for -1 star, everything else was professionally handled.

The drivers were great, the items were great but the bed slats and sides were eliminated from the first order while the computer systems were down. They finally came in about 2 weeks later and the slats are too big. I need my bed so my son-in-law is cutting them so they fit. So I’m disappointed in that. Otherwise everything else was great!

Bought a new 3 piece sectional about a month ago; paid for in full that day, no financing. The in store experience with the sales rep was fantastic, but everything went to poo after that. They said I'd have the full sectional delivered that following week, yet I only received 1 section. Delivery drivers said another had been there for them to pick up, but the box had been crushed and when they opened they saw it had been damaged so they didn't bring, kudos to them on that part, really. But then they said the third section wasn't even on their list so they weren't sure what was going on with it and customer service would contact me within 48 hours. Never got a call, tried calling for 2 weeks could never get an answer. Finally went through the automated service to see if the pieces were available to schedule another delivery, it said both remaining pieces were ready for delivery. Once again only had one piece delivered today with so sign of the third, and since the missing piece is the live seat that connects the other two pieces I really had nowhere to put the chaise that was brought to me today since I have to have the full couch set up differently in the meantime. Due to this they had to take it back with them and I told them not to deliver until the other piece was also available otherwise it won't fit. Very, very frustrated with the poor communication and customer service from this company right now. Where's the rest of my couch!?

We came here for a mattress and a recliner. We spent 2 hours being shown the best mattresses which I did not want. When we got to the point of getting the financing the older gentleman helping us seemed frustrated that our budget wasn’t 10000 plus dollars. We ended up finding a mattress we liked and it was fairly cheap compared to the tempurpedic. He kept reminding us that our budget barely allowed the mattress and we should try other financing companies which I did not want to do. He was very pushy and not once did he thank us for purchasing or anything. We had a younger guy named Dante who I would assume was being trained he was very friendly and not pushy. We decided to purchase our recliner elsewhere because the older gentleman was so pushy and kinda rude. My boyfriend got approved for a lot more than I did and I all we saw was dollar signs in the older gentleman’s face. He kept trying to sell us adjustable bases for as much as our mattress cost which we repetitively declined. Looking back we should’ve just walked out but we really liked the mattress we got.

Most stressful experience ever, everything started great. Staff was great first delivery went well….. it was the “back order “ delivery that was a nightmare. Still waiting. Customer service the second you leave the store is absolutely nothing. Phone tree after phone tree and every ball is dropped and and everyone blames someone else. No one calls you back and the “nice salesman”” disappears. To say Im disappointed is an understatement…. Weeks later i am still waiting for my furniture and no straight answers given.

The sales person at Ashley was friendly enough, but they were dishonest regarding their service plan. We had this BRAND NEW recliner less than 7mths when it stopped working. We first requested service April 1st and have yet to see movement. We HAVE recevied about 1000 excuses. It's been almost 2mths and we're still waiting. Update: we are still waiting! Three and a half months and counting. 10/13/2023 The repair technicians have not shown up twice now. The "next available appointment" is December 15. Is there a way to give zero stars???

Finish failed on a table included in a $2,000 dining room set within 5 months and Ashley informed us they don’t stand behind any quality issues if the day it was delivered the furniture is in good order. I have been an Ashley customer for 30 years and could not imagine they don’t stand behind any quality issues with their products, I guess we were lucky up to this point. You can see form the photos the tables finish is clearly delaminating with widespread finish failure. After we contacted Asley in January after a long delay, they sent out a repair person in April who agreed it was an unrepairable condition. After 5 weeks of no word, I called Asley this week to find out the next step and was told “we determined not to cover the damage because when we delivered the table it was in good condition and that is our standard policy”. When I asked when this decision was made, they said in April. I asked why didn’t you contact us with the result then? Response, nothing, not an apology or anything. Let’s recap; their policy is to not stand behind any quality issues and to not communicate with their customers. Is there any major store in Springfield that has such a policy? If there was would you knowing shop there? Of course not.

This is not the first or second time we have bought furniture from Ashley. We purchased a mechanical recliner not even 6 months ago. It stopped working and are being told they won't fix it. We will never go back and buy anything.

We bought a sofa from them that had a nice delivery team. It came with a rip in the back that they reported and said someone would call us and come patch it. That never happened. Then we paid the couch off and went in for a mattress. We immediately told them we were just looking and made it clear we wanted to be left alone and look for ourselves. Kristen, one of the sales reps was very aggressive in her sales pitches and doesn't let up. She never gave us a moment to think, let alone talk to eachother and never gave us space to look at what we wanted. Instead she was very insistent that we only lay on the literal most expensive mattress in the building and kept avoiding sharing the price. When she shared the cost, she was already doing a mock up of our payments and pressing us to buy right away (total 8k for only the mattress -LOL over the course of 72 months!). We asked for space and she left us alone for literally 30 seconds and was back and doing another sales pitch over our bodies while we tried to relax and think. At one point my partner said he did not want to lay on one of the mattresses while she controlled the remote and she just kept staring at us and waiting without taking a hint. This was the most uncomfortable experience I've ever had. We were actually ready to buy a mattress today and now we will be going somewhere else. As we were leaving, Kristen followed us out yelling after us that no one else sells more mattresses and that they do charity. It was beyond uncomfortable and just kind of disrespectful. I wish these people would learn that we will find them when we are ready and leave us alone. Stop acting like this is a decision you are in on making with us about our finances. You are a sales person looking for a payday, not my family.

We took delivery of damaged from the factory merchandise in October of 2022. A very expensive piece I might add. We were told they would replace it if they couldn't repair it. Three days later material shows up that is not the right material. We report that to Ashley to which they set a Repair appointment for anyway in November. The repair people show up and cannot do the repair because the right material was not sent. Plus the repair person stated this repair would be very difficult to do in my living room. We were told again we would hear from Ashley. A week goes by and we start calling. Through the entire remaining month of November and December we call and leave messages promised the manager would get in contact with us. Finally on 1/3/2023 I showed up at the store and confronted the Store manager. She assures me she will turn in a repair claim but she was having trouble getting a hold of anyone because it was right after the New Year. She told me she would call me the next day to which I never heard from her. So now my wife frustrated goes and confronts her again on 1/26/2023. This time a claim is turned in and again for February and again its cancelled because again the right materials to make the repair have still not been shipped. (We still have the original Material shipped in 2022) We again contact Ashley Home Office and again Customer Service and ANOTHER appointment is set for 4/11/2023. That appointment is too cancelled because again the correct materials have never been sent. Today we tried again three times to contact the store manager at Ashley Home Store on E Independence. Twice we were disconnected and on the 3rd time when we actually got a hold of someone we were intentionally hung up on. Today we filed formal complaints with the Attorney Generals Office, and the Better Business Bureau of SW Missouri.
Came in expecting a deal on a certain kind size bed. The salesman ended up getting me qualified for a loan with absolutely no interest, as well as getting me a great deal on the price. Gentleman was very helpful. Would highly recommend.

This is THE worst furniture store in Springfield Mo! They charged us for a protection plan & told us if it wasn’t used in 5 years it would be returned to us as a store credit. We never had to use it. Drove 2 hours to Springfield store 3 March was told we could use it to purchase a desk chair paid the difference was told they would call for pick up 7 March. Never got a call for pick up. Their sales, customer service and delivery phone system is no help what so ever! Drove 2 hours to store 15 March spoke to James “Jim” he told us chair was on back order and directed us to the desk at rear of store who said chair would be in 30 March and they would call us for pick up. Again never got a call. Called sales, delivery and customer service again no help. 3rd 2 hour drive to store 5 April spoke to woman store manager who informed me store credit was denied 48 hours after we ordered on 3 March. She was rude and condescending! They stoled and and cheated us out of $300. Not to mention wasted our time and fuel driving back and forth to the store! We have bought several pieces of furniture from this store. This is the last time I will go in that store or any other Ashley furniture store to purchase furniture! Their staff and sales people are rude incompetent jerks! Horrible store and staff! DO NOT SHOP IN ASHLEY FURNITURE!

Just left the Ashely’s store. Jamey was our helper and he was amazing! He went above and beyond with helping us find exactly what we wanted and how we wanted it. Jamey was very friendly and he goes out of his way to help you and is not pushy or overbearing, I thought he was the manager for the longest time for how well he connected with us and made us feel comfortable even though we were new to furniture shopping.

We had a pleasant experience at the store. We were greeted immediately by Melissa. She showed us the exact dining table set that was advertised online. Melissa took quick care of our transaction. We are very pleased to have shopped at Ashley Furniture.
We bought the sofa, ottoman and oversize chair at the back end of 2022 and it was delivered 12/29/2022. Within a week the cushions were sagging in the middle. This happened with all three seating cushions and now the ottoman. There is a year warranty so I called and got the cushions replaced. Within two weeks, the cushions were sagging again. I've flipped them over to try and make a difference, it doesn't. There are only two of us in the house and we work during the day so not a whole lot of sitting going on. There is not enough sponge on the arm rests so you can feel the wood when resting on the arm, there is nothing that can be done about this. Save your money and shop elsewhereI emailed the address below with all the information and photos on 3/27/23. I will give an update when I hear back as to my experience

Between the multiple sales people lying to us. Getting charged to deliver 2 items to the same house and the couch to be broke from day one...as a start. The company had a deliver date and never showed up or called. After getting the furniture the part that is broken and unable to be fixed, still is not fixed 4 months later because they ordered the wrong part. They told me two different days they would be here and never showed or called to say they are not coming. I called and the told me it is still in St. Louis as well as the manager refused to speak with me. Don't buy from here, the furniture is cheap, they are not honest and the do not fix what they say they will, management will not speak with you about anything.

My wife and I made purchases from the Springfield location before without issues. There was a living room set my wife and I were interested in. Billy helped us and said multiple times that he could give us 30% off AND get the 5 year no interest financing. He kept telling us we could have both trying to make the sale. When we went to figure out the cost he told us he couldn’t give us that deal and we misunderstood. We left and got the 30% with the no interest financing he offered us online. Not sure why he lied to us. I can only assume he wanted a bigger sale. We won’t be returning.

Delivery guys were awesome. Unfortunately I was told mis information during purchase from a sales person that directly inconvenienced and affected the delivery men, which made me feel bad. But they were very nice, I was misled by the sales department.

Do not shop here. Do not spend a dime. It is a waste of money unless you have the intention of buying their furniture and never having a problem. We purchased a 6 piece sectional set, and within the warranty the couch fabric incurred a rip. They wouldn’t do anything about it because the fabric was no longer being covered under warranty??? So, what was the point in purchasing the extended warranty!! The store in springfield wouldn’t do anything about it, and the corporate company wouldn’t do anything either until I posted a negative review online, then got a call saying they would reimburse me $150. After going through the process, the $150 was never sent and there was “never a claim”. So, to save yourself possible frustration, I recommend you do not waste your money on anything they have for sale.

If you’re looking through negative reviews to see how bad it can get because you’re on the fence, then understand that there are apparently an infinite number of ways a furniture transaction can go wrong and the only thing that Ashley’s is more committed to than producing mediocre furniture is exploring the universe of possibilities of ways that they can fail your expectations. Update: I called the number indicated in the company response below and they said that I was confused by their automated message by understanding it to mean they were looking for additional feedback or to provide additional solutions. That sounds like nonsense taken out of context but believe me it the most sensible thing that has been said by any customer service agent they have. 7/15/23 Update: i don’t recall when exactly I made this original post, but I believe it was in mid or late March. Today is 7/15 and everything is finally done, after dozens of hours, hundreds of calls, emails. Nothing was characteristically different about yesterday versus any other day working with DSG (Ashley furniture Licensee). I was at the location for more than two hours just yesterday after the solution had been submitted, approved, etc. took just that long for the left hand to talk to the right after months of back and forth. I cannot emphasize this enough - this is Spirit Airlines of furniture, and objectively the most dysfunctional organization I have ever worked with, just take up carpentry and make it yourself. You’ll have a skill in the time it takes you to work through their org chart and then you can pass that skill down to your children, who will be long born and resentful of you by the time your issue gets resolved through this company.

First off the sales woman, Leah in Springfield, was great. I’m ashamed of myself for paying so much money for a piece of junk. The furniture is overpriced and poorly made. If I were to buy from here again I would definitely get the 5 year protection plan. The item we received today was broken, I brought it back to the warehouse and they said they’ll fix it. 🤣 The item was completely broken and I requested to be sent a new piece, unassembled so I could put it together myself. I was told they were unable to do that? Why? So we’ll see how it goes, I was told I’ll get a call tomorrow to see what the next step is. The only good thing about the experience was the woman at the customer pickup desk. She treated me like a human being, and I can’t say the same for anyone else during the process. Ashley furniture is a joke. UPDATE: So on the third call to customer service I was able to talk to someone who seemed to give an honest effort to help. I received a call from the warehouse within the 48 hour time I was to expect and the warehouse had a whole new piece for me, in new condition, everything put together perfectly. The warehouse staff that helped me check and load the piece were amazing. I really appreciate the help I received from the technician and the warehouse worker who loaded the piece. THANK YOU. I still would not recommend Ashley Furniture to anyone. There are some small differences on the item we purchased from the pictures of the product online, which is total bs. PHOTO INFORMATION: The product online has latches for the doors, but the item we received does not. They aren’t even shown in the instructions.

our purchase experience was good. bought in may of 2022 received our furniture in early july of 22. we were kept informed through the process. 3 months after our purchase, one of the chairs broke the back snapped and had no support. after another 3 months we finally got their furniture repair people out to our house. they informed us the chair had been broken previously and handed us the spliced section that had been repaired. i told ashley's i wanted a new chair. not a repaired chair. they told me on 2 different occasions they would replace it. after another month of not hearing anything we contacted them again. we were then informed it would have to be repaired. their customer service after the fact is the worst i've ever seen. we'll never buy from them again.

I had a good experience while making the purchase, however the service after the sale has been the worst service I have ever experienced. If you purchase from Ashley I hope you never need service. They have given their service to a third party and offer no other options to get anything done other than this outside service. Terrible communications, cut off on phone, no reply or if they do it takes several attempts and they dont do what they say they will do.
So I purchased some furniture in this store. Got insurance for them as well, but didn’t use my insurance for it. Went back to get my money back from the insurance that I purchased. So apparently it’s a third party, and they were trying to get a hold of them but no answer or anything at all. So to sum it all I didn’t get the money back. And the store couldn’t do anything about it either. It’s just a bunch of bull. So if you purchase anything from them I would not recommend to get any insurance wat so ever from them. You would be stiffed. But other than that there furniture is pretty good.

He verified that he could order them and extend the Best offer available at time of purchase. He was able to setup a 6 month zero percent interest contract. Completely unsatisfied with the cancellation policy that they do not explain whatsoever to you when you purchase furniture from this store. Decided to cancel our purchase of a reclining love seat the next business day since we figured out how price gouged the item we found was compared to other distributors and the fact that we were having to wait so long before delivering and even though they had done absolutely nothing with our order they charge you 10% of the total to cancel an order they have done nothing with. Will not ever be shopping with them again.

We needed a power lift recliner for my wife. The local Ashley store matched the Ashley online price. We saved more than $600 on the identical recliner compared to the sofa store next door.

We purchased a new bedroom set from Ashley's on black Friday of 2022. We received our nightstands they were damaged, we are almost in February 2023 and we still have not been able to get any assistance on fixing the nightstand or replacing. Our bed was supposed to be delivered before Christmas. We have never received it. No one in customer service had been able to help. About the 2nd week into January we are told that our bedroom furniture has been discontinued, and we cannot get it anymore. We went to the store and we're offered the display model which was dirty from hands and the bottom rails are chipped and the bed is wobbly. We asked for our cash back from purchasing the bed and we were told they would send a check in 6 weeks. We wanted to return the nightstands that don't match any bedroom sets and were told that our $800 nightstands that are damaged we cannot return or receive any refund on. We are extremely upset with the customer service no one at the store wanted to help they kept telling us to call the number. But the number goes to India and they tell us the opposite of what the store says. We had previously bought multiple pieces of furniture from Ashley's and thought they were helpful before but this experience is completely ridiculous
BUYER BEWARE: NO RETURN POLICY, NO ACCEPTIONS. We ordered a large brown leather rocker recliner from Ashley and we received a grey fabric medium sized recliner that did not rock. Currently, we are in contact with customer service to see if this issue is resolved promptly.

First time visiting and was impressed with the store layout, the helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable staff. This store was BUSY yet things moved quickly and efficiently and there was plenty of staff to support the shoppers. Not a lot of color choices and most styles are updated modern but found a traditional piece that worked. Not something I see mentioned in ads often but they do carry brand name mattresses in addition to their own. I’ll definitely be coming back to check that out.

As of now we only have one couch. We purchased 2 couches and a recliner. One couch and the recliner were both damaged and we sent them back to the store. The delivery guys were fantastic and took their time inspecting and installing our couch. Hope to receive the new pieces soon.

I'm honestly just not a fan of how I'm treated at Ashley. I don't appreciate the high-pressure sales or the desparate "You have to get an Ashley credit card!" tactics. Once the sale is closed, you basically don't exist. Both deliveries we got left us with our old furniture to deal with, and I can't get in touch with anyone to figure out how to get it hauled off. I fail to see what value Ashley provides when purchasing a mattress when Tempurpedic has disposal included in their delivery if you order direct.
Edit to my previous review. We had a defect in our couch that happened during the manufacturing process. We have contacted customer service 4 times and sent pictures and each time I have been told we would hear back within 24 to 48 hours. I also contacted the local store and spoke with Ashley and she sent an email to customer service. 10 days later we still have not heard from anyone. This has been extremely disappointing that the local stores have no control anymore after spending the amount of money we did. Great experience with Greg as our sales representative. He made the process enjoyable and flawless. His follow up skills were phenomenal and I hope to do business with him and Ashley Furniture again in the future.

Ashley has the absolute worst customer service. I’ve been getting the runaround on a product exchange for almost a week now. No one will call me back. All I get is “oh, we will escalate this.” They don’t honor their product exchange policy. So scammy. I’m seriously about to rent a uhaul and unload these sofas into their lobby.

They gave me a box that's was taped up like it's new, but when I opened it it has a previous customers name, phone number, home address and such in it. It's also missing half the stuff needed to put the bed together and the pieces of the actual bed. Then on top of that they hit the other box with a tire of some sort and put a black mark on the head board. Trying to get it sorted out with them is impossible. They "don't accept returns" even though I'm within the 72 hours I agreed to. I'm sure Ive dealt with worse customer service but I can't remember when.
About 4 yrs ago, we bought a love seat and couch from Ashley. They charge 0% interest, but in return you have to buy their insurance policy for several hundred dollars. They claimed it to be such a good policy, covered most everything with defects in your furniture. So four years later, we notice the arm piece has lost its padding and the seat has not held up with just normal sitting. So I call Ashley customer service and they inform me there is only a 1 yr warranty on the furniture. I inform her that we bought the extended service that we were required to buy. She gives me the number to call and they inform me the extended warranty does not cover defective padding. It only covers the frame and mechanized parts. And anything you call them about has to have happened within the last 3 months. Needless to say, I am done with Ashley and their phoney worthless insurance that they require you to buy.

Addition to this review….. We actually cancelled the furniture after having multiple times of the delivery not happening. Also was a struggle to receive our money back. We paid in full at time of purchase with no financing etc. it took 2 weeks to finally have funds returned along with the absolute worst management teams both in store and throughout the Ashley company. I would never suggest this business to anyone. We went to a competitor and had same exact couches delivered within 24 hours and saved money. Went to Ashley furniture today to look at complete living room furniture set , my wife and I have been planning and saving for months .We were greeted by Dustin Bramley that never gave up on us ,between all our decisions going back and forth in uncertainty and confusion, the quality of the furniture was so influencing , Dustin hung in there , my wife and I were like broken record . He gave us our space ,as well as moved furniture a round to show us the look . Buying a bed is not an easy task but these two gave us the best experience with no sales pressure. My husband and I bought a cabinet today. Our salesperson, Billy, was so kind and helpful. He made our experience wonderful! I can’t say the same thing of the store manager. When we heard the store manager raising his voice, in an angry tone, towards the employees, we were flabbergasted! The manager spoke to the employees in a loud, angry, and demeaning manner, all while in front of a store full of customers. Billy was great but the store manager was very unprofessional.

This store is the worst Ashley store in the country. After speaking with national customer care (who confirmed that the Springfield Ashley is unprofessional to work with) we had to deal with this local Ashley store. Per representative at the local store (name redacted for review) the Springfield store does not follow the nationwide return policy. We received damaged product and different from what was sold to us. Very disappointed with this store and company. Would not advise anybody use this business or any of their associates.

Billy Dillard and Bethany Molica had in depth knowledge of the tempurpedic adjustable bed. They did not pressure us and gave us adequate time to try out the mattress. We chose a soft mattress for my husband and a medium mattress for me. If you have not tried the tempurpedic mattress, I highly recommend you do. I have never felt anything like it for comfort. Ordered and was supposed to have delivery by Wednesday. Tried to email the delivery schedule to confirm delivery date but the link doesn’t work. Called to schedule but they say the purchase won’t be available for 2-3 weeks. The salesperson Hannah has called us and is working diligently to help resolve the problem. Hannah was awesome in store as well. If delivery happens as told at purchase we will be changing this to an5 star review as Hannah was very helpful and spent time making sure we were getting what we needed within our budget and quick delivery
I see some people are able to walk the display floor without the "used-car-dealership" reps following them around, but that has never been my experience. The quality is no better than other furniture stores in the area and the hassle isn't with it. They start prodding you for personal information as soon as they talk to you, like phone number and email address. The selection is also standard, I've never seen anything unique like the railroad-tie built cabinet I purchased elsewhere. There are better places very close by and throughout the area, I'd recommend any of them over Ashley's.

Bad warranty experience and absolutely awful delivery experience! I paid for a 5-year furniture warranty on my six piece dining room set at the time of my original purchase in Sept/Oct 2018. The set was scratched about three years into the warranty; the warranty covered full replacement. After waiting through all of COVID (they wouldn’t come into homes to work during COVID) and then calling back in for a technician to evaluate the furniture again on 10/24/2022, the technician arrived on 12/4/2022 for a ten minute visit/picture session where he stated they needed to replace the entire set. Finally, on 12/28/2022, their delivery company, DSG, brought out the replacement dining room set - two of the four chairs were scratched (they had assembled them in the warehouse and likely scratched them as they pulled them over others’ furniture in an overpacked delivery truck). They installed the table, the other two chairs and a bench. When I told them they needed to replace the two scratched chairs, their delivery supervisor, Rick, insisted all furniture be returned. At the same time, I had Ashley customer service on the phone and they said only return the scratches products for replacements because they said I didn’t need to go back through the technician inspection process which could add another 6-8 weeks to fulfillment. Rick hung up while the Ashley rep was giving direction. The driver then called Rick’s manager, Derek?, and he told his team to remove my newly installed set from the home; I told him, over the phone, I would keep the good pieces and they could replace the damaged items. He insisted his team remove them; I said no way! He then told his team to leave the damaged chairs, which they had already put back into the truck, in my driveway on a sub-freezing blustery day and pull away from my property. The Ashley furniture customer care rep was on the phone with me through the entire ordeal and said she had never heard of something like this before…she agreed it was an awful delivery experience and assured me she would replace the damage chairs and file a complaint against the delivery company, DSG. At this point, I am still awaiting follow-up for replacement of the two damaged chairs. They have not yet satisfactorily completed the delivery and I have not signed for delivery of the order since it remains incomplete. What an awful warranty and delivery service! I asked Rebecca, the Ashley customer care rep, to request an additional 5-year warranty at the expense of DSG to address all the headaches they created in the delivery; I am still awaiting that outcome as well.
Second time to purchase items here that have not arrived in timely manner. I gave them another shot, thinking the first time was just a COVID-19 delay. Purchased items that were supposed to be ready within the week (not on back order). Over a month now and no estimated delivery date. The customer service has been terrible trying to get an update on my order. I will not shop here again.

In my Opinion and that of the decorator that eventually was with me my experience was completely unacceptable. I was looking at 2 pictures totaling over $600 the salesman really had an attitude. I asked if I was able to take the pictures home to see how they looked with my décor. He said it was not their policy to allow people to do that I feel that when I said I would accept complete and full responsibility if anything happened to those pictures and that I only live 8 minutes away and would bring them back shortly, It would be a great policy for the store to allow this to happen. I will be completely redecorating the place that we just moved in to and I seriously doubt I step foot in this Ashley store.

Douglas did a great job helping us find a great love seat that fits nicely into the little spot we have for it. Now we’ll see how long the company takes to deliver it.

The second time we’ve paid up front not using Ashley Furniture credit and have had to wait for our furniture for weeks. We were told that there was plenty chairs in stock and we could get them in Dec 6th. Last order tools months to get the correct products. So very sick of the salesmen men leading us and not simply being honest. Explained what happened before to our order, he promised the 6th, then when called he said he had a family emergency and would call us regarding the status. Still no phone call.
Worst furniture we have ever encountered!! No returns either, half of our furniture ($4k worth) was damaged out of the box and all made of particle board! Wanted to return it all so we could start somewhere new. Nope, they do not take returns of any kind for any reason!! Horrible horrible service!!

If I could give zero stars I would. Ashley has the absolute worst customer service I've ever encountered. First, the store in Springfield Missouri NEVER answers their phone. I spent over $12,000 and they did not deliver the throw pillows that went with the living room set I purchased. I received a text confirming delivery and informed them of the missing pillows and was told they would arrive by UPS in 7-10 business days. Needless to say, they did not arrive. When I call customer service, they tell me to call the store. The store does not answer. After ringing a number of times, the line goes dead. This is not an isolated incident, I've attempted to call them dozens of times with the same result. I've gone on the website, and I get the same run-around. Unless this situation is rectified immediately, I will not be spending another penny in that store.

Worst buying experience. Delivery not carried out as scheduled on bed. Left me with no bed for days. When base was delivered the guys came in house like a tornado, threw wrapping all over room, threw away the manufacturer’s paperwork, and gave no instructions on how to operate the base. After multiple calls to Ashley and Glidewell the instructions were finally printed for me. They are only interested in selling.

We liked the salesperson. But was not happy with delivery information and delivery charges. On the paperwork it says no delivery fee on the second page we're total charges are is a $249 charge for delivery. When we called the next morning the young lady we first spoke to could not explain the delivery fees or what it all entailed. Had to ask for a manager. Got our questions answered but was still misleading on the paperwork. Our salesperson did not explain that part of the charge. Delivery date was supposed to be on Wednesday so we got rid of all of our furniture and moved it out on Tuesday evening because they told us it would be at our house on Wednesday. We had someone that waited all day at our house to get a text, finally at 3:20 on Wednesday afternoon saying it would be Saturday!! None of it matched up.

Wonderful staff and great variety of furniture. Update: I had a great experience 11 months ago but this weekend was the exact opposite. I ended up ordering the furniture online rather than at the store. I was there for about 20 minutes and walked the entire store- no acknowledgement of my presence from any staff member while I was there. So I left and purchased online.

I’ve had my eye on a particular sofa for years. Finally saved up enough to purchase it and the loveseat. Sales person was great. But when the sofa arrived it was damaged. I went the store to try to get it fixed but the service person was awful and my sofa is not fixed. The damage is very noticeable. I’m so disappointed.

Service is not good. Wayyyyyyyy too long of delivery times. Get told it will be a month followed by an “oops!” Now it is 2 months. Call to confirm and now it’s not even definite that the 2 month date is a correct date!
I had such a great experience with this location. The staff are friendly and are not invasive. We had just moved to St. Robert and was in need of furniture. 2 Twin beds, living room set, and king bed set. Amber is SO helpful. She is literally phenomenal at her job. She made everything a breeze and has great communication. They were able to deliver our furniture that following Wednesday. Our sofa arrived with a back rest cushion missing. We got the run around with customer service which was really frustrating. Finally, we called Amber and she got it taken care of. The whole process has been absolute nightmare, we are NEVER buying here again. We spent almost $4000 in bedroom set in June, we were told delivery would be around August, then they told us September then December, I can understand delivery taking longer due to supply chain issue but not knowing when it would get delivered is very frustrating specially when everyone you talk to give you different dates. when I spoke with a representative they just told me. Luckily we got a call to schedule the delivery, when the furniture comes the bed had a broken leg and the dresser was so damaged they didn't even take it out of the truck, its surprising they don't check the furniture before delivery. the following day I got a call to reschedule the delivery and on the delivery date nobody showed up and when i called they told me it was never schedule, I had to wait 4 more days then on that delivery day they tell me the furniture didn't pass inspections, meaning the piece was damaged again, now they are telling me I have to wait another month for the dresser. Absolutely horrible experience, for $4000 you would think they had better service.

Staff, selection and prices
Our order took forever and the local store was never very helpful. Every time we visited the store the employees were unprofessional and even cussed. They spoke poorly of the corporate office and I don’t plan to ever do business here again. The local store could never track our order and sent us to corporate and it was an endless circle. I do like the products just not the service.

On 1.2.22, I ordered living, dining and bedroom sets and was told everything will be in by end of March. With supply chain delays, I got the living and dining furniture in April. Every month, I was told the bedroom set would be coming in 4-6 weeks. In June, I accepted a job in another state and I called the store to get an update on the bedroom set. I was told it would be in by late July, so I scheduled my moving truck for mid-August. The dresser and night stand were in by mid-August. I asked the store to deliver so I could put on the moving truck. The store refused, saying they would not deliver until everything was in. I told them where I was moving to and asked if they would deliver to the new address. They responded yes, they can ship to the warehouse near the new address and then deliver to me. On 9.27.22, the bed finally came in and they called to schedule delivery. I’m told they cannot deliver out of state and I have to come pick up my items. I talked to 6 different customer service reps and kept getting the run around. I canceled the order and asked for my 10% deposit back. They told me there is a 10% restocking fee so I’m not getting any money back.

Product is amazing, hopefully the couch I pick up is the same! But it was TERRIBLE customer service, they were more worried about number and what can be made. There was little to no small talk, made for a very awkward experience. The sales manager didn’t really help either, just kind of made the salesman feel dumb and just didn’t have very good customer service either. They didn’t inform me when my payments start or how to go about doing that, they didn’t tell me when my item was available for pick up, any of that. Again just worried about the sale, not me or my experience.. Not a friendly team.

Worst experience ever! Spend maybe 6-8 hours over the course of 3 mo the trying to figure out why they said furniture would be in only to find it wasn’t. Was told of a delivery date by the store only to have a call from the company setting up a later date. Then 3 1/2 mo later got my furniture delivered only to have screws missing, promised they would come back the next day, been three days and still no one will help. I’ve called and called. Frustrating is an understatement! NO Customer Service, store rarely answers the phone.

If you want to be swindled and lied to and pressured beyond belief to make expensive purchases, please go see Dustin Bramley at this location, because he is a master at this. He added more expensive options onto our purchase without asking us or discussing it with us. We only realized once it was delivered and were then conveniently told once it’s in the house it can’t be returned. When confronted with this he gave a completely ridiculous explanation and tried to gaslight us into thinking it was okay by basically just saying well he does this to everyone and has been doing so for four years. Your lying to every customer you have for four years doesn’t make me feel any better. He gave us zero information about the return/exchange issues prior to the purchase. When we came into ask questions and discuss the issues the after we received it, Dustin completely dismissed us and wouldn’t even speak with us. Which is apparently an accepted practice here. He can lie and con you and then force the poor manager to deal with his upset customers. They have models of beds on the floor that have been there for fourteen years, so they feel absolutely nothing like what you’ll be actually getting. Not saying that every sales person that works at this location is bad because I’m sure they’re not, but if you want an honest and kind salesman, do yourself a favor and avoid Dustin at all costs. He’s a true con artist and it’s very clear the only thing he cares about is getting the most commission he can.

Worst experience ever. Massive delay in furniture then once we receive part of our order the couch purchased was already breaking down. The so called leather already showing wearing. Notice the wear in the leather in less than 3 months. Tried calling customer service the store serval times no answer so had to personally drive to the store to try and resolve the issue. Having to order new set of furniture because of how bad the couch was wore already. Then waited again for them to deliver new different furniture. Once furniture came in they was supposed to pick up the current furniture but said they had no pick up information. This no pick up information went on for weeks. Again, I had to drive to the store because they would not pick up the phone. This process of getting our furniture carried on for over a month. I had never been so upset with a company in my life. I will not purchase anything from them EVER AGAIN.

I enjoyed our experience and ultimately we bought the couch which is why I rated it 4 stars. What I did not like was that out sales rep dropped our price when he thought that we were going to leave. I wish that companies would understand that you are there to buy and put forth their best deal. Why does the best deal only come out when sales rep feels a threat?
We purchased a sofa and were told if it didn't work out in our home we could get a refund. After seeing it in our home we decided it wasn't what we wanted. Plus it was not as comfortable as the floor model. When we asked for a return we were told that the sales person was wrong and we could not get a refund. Not sure if this is the sales tactic or an honest mistake but management was unwilling to honor what we were told even though we had it in a text from sales agent. We will not be return customers.
Jay Wasson was the best representative I have worked with. Went in to buy a new diningroom set and walked out with two recliners as well. Jay worked really hard to get us the best deal. Great customer service skills in getting us just what we wanted.
Today I bought 3 items. Came home and looked over the paperwork. The sales rep never went over a 5 year protection plan for $299.99. But what do you know…it was on my bill. Called the store back and had them take that off. Ethan…I get it that it was your last day at work..but come on, let’s have a little integrity. Look over your bill a little closer than I did. What I should have done was cancel my order then went back and ordered it from another sales rep. But…I’m guessing Ethan needs the money.
