My sales person was Scott Wright, Very knowledgeable, very kind and friendly went over and above found an item similar to the one I was purchasing. I did purchase a couch with him. It went smoothly. I was in and out very kind man I worked with him before, and I got lucky and got him again. Get it I got Lucky 🍀 on St. Patrick’s Day!!!☘️

I shopped at Ashley furniture because I wanted white glove delivery of furniture put together beforehand or on site. My husband was moving into a care facility, and I am in my senior years and unable to put furniture together or handle big boxes. The furniture (sofa, bed, and dining set) delivered was great. However, there was a lamp delivered separately, and it arrived broken. When the truck arrived with the furniture to be set up, there was also a TV stand I had ordered. I had been told in the store that it might arrive put together, it might arrive partially put together, or it might arrive not put together at all, or the deliverers might put it together for me. However, I was told I had the option of refusing it, and it would be returned to the store, and I would be credited. It arrived in a box whose shape guaranteed that it was in small pieces. I told the movers to not take it off the truck. They left it on the truck and showed my delivery bill of sale, taking off the price of the TV stand. All good I thought. When I called about the broken lamp. I was told I had to deliver it to the store – not possible because it's in a very large box and heavy. They offered to send a new lamp, and I declined. I said I didn't want a lamp that would break so easily in shipping because I think it would break if I used it. Well, much to my surprise another lamp was delivered into my husband's very small ADA accessible apartment when we were not there. So now I have two large boxes and 2 lamps-- one broken and an identical one I do NOT want, totally in the way of a wheelchair. have called Ashley Furniture twice, and I've been connected with the cancellation department, but I still have two large boxes – one with a broken lamp and one with the lamp I declined before it was delivered. Every day since delivery which was over a week ago, I receive a message from Ashley to schedule that TV stand. I have talked to two different people, and another person in what they call the "cancellation department. " I don't think Ashley's people are listening to me. Or, even scarier, perhaps Ashley's furniture is trying to bully me into accepting a couple of pieces I do not want for valid reasons. I have no patience left whatsoever for Ashley furniture.

My daughter and I visited the store about 10 times before we decided to make a decision when my daughter and I saw that there were items on clearance. We decided to look at them. We found a living room set that we loved. She purchased the set. It was beautiful we loved it. When they delivered it they brought the loveseat, couch and chair in the house right away and it took them another 30-35 minutes to bring in the tables. When they brought the tables in they placed the tables at the door and left. When I went to place the tables where I wanted them to go both of the end tables fell apart. I mean they collapsed onto the floor. The coffee table was missing screws and it didn’t stay together. When the store opened we immediately took them back to the store. Three people came out to the car to see the tables and one gentleman said I can see if I can fix them for you which was very considerate. We appreciate him for that. This was horrible service. They didn’t even apologize. I don’t understand why they offered to fix instead of giving me my money back. I left the tables and when the guy had them ready we went to pick them up. I have NEVER had service like this before. Surely you wouldn’t have accepted this type of service. We end up making 3 different purchases and not one time they offered me compensation.

Sales lady was very pleasant and I was able to find what I wanted within my price range. Was able to secure a delivery date within a week of my purchase. I was very pleased with my over all experience. I will be a return customer.

Bought a recliner recently, and was told by the salesman at the Ashley store on Lemay Ferry Rd., that when I go to the distribution store to pick it up, the chair would be put together and in his own words "just as you see it here in the store", and to inspect the chair for any damage or blemishes on site prior to taking the chair with me. When I got to the distribution center, the worker brings my chair out in a box. When I questioned it, he stated that is the way they always come from the distribution center. Chair was not assembled, and I couldn't rip the box open to inspect it without signing off on the form. So I had to take the chair home as-is in the box and had to put the recliner together. If I had known that was the way it was going to come, I would have paid to have it delivered and assembled to insure it wasn't damaged. When I called the direct line to the store, I spoke to another salesman who said that I was lied to. Won't be purchasing anything further from Ashley.

Terrible customer service & service in general. I ordered a sectional couch online, and only received one half of the correct couch. On top of that, I was told that the couch would be delivered at 2pm and didn't get here until 10pm. One of the delivery workers was asleep in the truck and my husband had to assist in carrying the couch when we paid for delivery and setup. Lo and behold the couch is 1/2 wrong. Waited 2 weeks for the correct delivery (after they called on the right delivery date to say the item was defective), and got the WRONG COUCH AGAIN!! I am now many days and hours wasted. Called their help service and the first person told us we had to "cancel the order and re-order". No mention of a refund. I am not reordering a $700 couch to be $1400 in the hole with NO FULL COUCH. WTH! Spoke to HIS manager, gave them the item code so they could order the right 1/2 of the couch and was only offered a 10% discount- which I probably could've gotten anyway with a discount code. Such trash of a company with terrible customer service. I expect a full couch and compensation at this point! Absolutely ridiculous!

Sara provided an excellent, smooth experience for us!! She was very nice and knowledgeable!! Would definitely recommend her for your future purchases!! She answered all of our questions, which made us feel confident in our decision.

Delivery team was wonderful, friendly at got it inside before the rain. But unfortunately 1 of pieces had a slit on section of the sectional. Which was NOT from the delivery team. The slit was already there. Waiting on to see when my replacement piece will arrive .

I came there to get a bed,the salesman was quick,didn’t offer any discounts for presidents sale and didn’t mention warranties,I am in the process of buying a house and I was going to get everything there but now I’ll wait to receive one of their coupons in the mail

Everything was really great! Milo was fantastic and helped me every step of the way. Ordering was a simple process as was signing up for the Ashley credit card. Very happy!

*Edited at the bottom" Laughably bad service. Got a message saying I would have a delivery from 5-7pm the next day. Then a text the next morning saying estimated around 3pm. Didn't get there till 930pm. When they got there one of the movers was asleep the other over worked. I had to help move the couch which made spending the delivery money pointless. Gets worse. They brought the wrong half of the couch. Now I have half a sectional and no notice of if this mistake will be fixed or if I will have to stay up waiting until 930 next week. And I'm pretty sure it will be me calling in the morning to get this settled. Comfy couch but infuriating service. Hope the one driver doing all the work gets paid more. Edit: Thought they fixed it called me on delivery day saying they don't have it waited two weeks and they brought the wrong couch side again. I can't make this up what a joke. Then had the nerve to say they would just cancel the order and I can re order after they charged me for half a couch already. Like I'm gonna pick this couch up my self and get rid of it now. Offered me 10% off this place isn't serious. Edit even after owner replies. They didn't apply the discount until I called again don't use this company they will screw you over. Gonna request a full refund after weeks of back and forth.

The experience in store was fine but once we decided to purchase, it all went downhill from there. Everything is automated with delivery and you cannot even speak to a real person. We were so excited to receive our delivery. However, through the automated system, they could not guarantee delivery at an appropriate time, which is now is delaying our delivery. Very disappointed.

An absolute JOKE! My Ashley furniture experience was terrible. -Went to the show room & the sales associate was rude & told me that I was unable to use a coupon or discount with the current sale. WRONG! So I went online & not only was it cheaper but was able to use a coupon. -Scheduled a self pickup through the automated service & they stated that the distribution center was open until 6pm. We showed up at 3:30pm & again Ashley was WRONG! It's only open tues-sat until 3pm. (upon further research, google says they're only open until 2pm, this is also wrong) -Due to they're confusion, an online rep was kind enough to schedule us a delivery for free. Well, they screwed that up too! It wasn't delivered on the day promised & when I called, an online rep lied about the reasoning. He stated that it wasn't at the distribution center yet & that had caused the delay. Sooo, due to being out of town on the rescheduled day, I decided to drive down to the distribution center, that same day & was able to pick up the item that "wasn't at the dist center". -I was finally done with this disaster, right??? Nope, one of the sections was missing the legs! I went online & chatted with a rep & she was absolutely clueless & couldn't find the legs we needed. So I called & finally there was one helpful person who works at Ashley & he found the correct legs, within a few mins & now I'm waiting 7-10 days for processing + whatever time it takes for shipping. -Uhhhg, what a joke! My family, my friends & anyone else I ever meet will be warned. -final thoughts: the folks at the distribution center were very kind & helpful. It's not their fault that the company as a whole is poorly run. A shout out to the lovely woman who helped me get my order & to the gentleman who expertly helped me load my truck. But, they should probably look for employment at a better company.

Sara Swein helped us today and i was very impressed with her service she was very nice and professional sales lady She answered all our questions with respect and even got back early from lunch to help us as we asked for her, we already had her Business card so to start from the beginning Week before we visit Ashlee furniture on Lemay ferry Road in South County We seen Sara on the floor and asked her if she willing to answer some questions that we have because we were looking for a furniture and she stopped whatever she was doing to help us around after that we told Sara we will look in more stores and we may be coming back she said ok then she offered us her Business card and said please call me or visit if you need any more help We left that day and we decided to go back this weekend to buy furniture!! So we recommend Sara to be your sales person!!!

We stopped into the Ashley Store after visiting another popular local furniture store while shopping for my father‑in‑law, and the difference in experience was night and day. Brian, our sales associate, was informative, helpful, and genuinely committed to finding us the best value and price. The entire interaction was exceptional. He wasn’t pushy at all—in fact, as my husband pointed out, his ability to relate and simply be a good person wanting to help his customers made the purchase easy. We’re confident my father‑in‑law is going to love his new lift chair, bedroom set, and full family room set. As a bonus, the delivery time is quick (week) —especially compared to the 4–6 months quoted at the previous store for similar items. Highly recommend working with Brian Owens and the Ashley team.

TERRIBLE DELIVERY. Scab drivers. Truck not an ASHLEY truck so they hire scan drivers. Having a recliner delivered. Driver entered my residence and IMMEDIATELYasked to use my bathroom. The minute he walked in. Would not allow. Guess he was pissed. The store is less than a quarter mile from my home. THEN they told me they were taking cardboard box with them. They LIED. Dumped at our dumpster area and I can't break it down. NEVER AGAIN ASHLEY. SERVICE DELIVERY IS PATHETIC. BEWARE!!!!

Our experience at Ashley’s was amazing. Brian was extremely helpful and the selection of lounge chairs was terrific. Will definitely go back again.

Sales people were great up until we purchased the furniture. The salesperson said are you prepared to take the stuff today. I said yes and she I get you a flatbed to wheel the stuff out. They didn’t even bring it to the front. I had to wheel the stuff from the middle of the store to my truck. No one even opened the door. Several workers were standing around watching and didn’t even offer a hand.

I bought couch and love seat, was supposed to be delivered first of February. Would be nice if you did follow up haven’t heard from anyone

We just bought a new couch and chair through this Ashley store and had an awesome experience. We were helped by Brian, who was super friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable! He didn’t hover but was always ready to answer questions when we had some or help us with the final details of our purchase. The store had a wide variety of furniture and the delivery process was super easy. We were able to book the delivery day we wanted with no issues. Overall would definitely recommend purchasing from this location!

We recently made a purchase with this location and had a great experience! We worked with Brian and he made the process very smooth and easy for us. Wasn't pushy in any way and gave us space to make our own decisions. When we had a question regarding something, he was happy to answer and provide clarity for us. We also lucked out and had all of our furniture ordered in stock, so we are officially getting our furniture tomorrow (Jan. 6th). It will be a little less than 2 weeks from the time we ordered to delivery.

My sales person was Brian. He was very knowledgeable extremely helpful and very attentive. I was very happy that I went to Ashley and will go there for future needs. Ask for Brian if you go because he was very helpful. There were a few other salesman that came over to help with different questions and assist us when needed.

Totally disappointed in Ashley I had a great sales person and I bought a sofa that's was not in the store to try out got it home and it sat kinda low for my taste and they would not take it back. After fighting with these guys I later realized the dimensions of the the sofa were also inaccurate and they still wouldn't let me exchange it to also learn the manager has no authority to make decisions. Check your purchase thoroughly..

Ordered a bed frame specifically because the sales lady told us it didn’t need a boxspring. Got it delivered- they were missing pieces. Came to pick it up the next day and it turns out the sales women never placed the bed slats on the order and the warehouse is out of stock. Was offered a 5% discount and after lots of convincing was able to get a 10% discount added. Awful experience

Very disappointed with Ashley furniture south county having an issue with our new adjustable bed rubbing on our new headboard and Ashley don’t listen or won’t do anything.

We went in for a new bedroom set, mattress, and couch. Everyone there was very helpful while also allowing us to shop in peace. My only complaint is when it came time to purchase she automatically put in “white glove delivery” which we didn’t want but she never asked up about it. So we unfortunately had to pay almost $600 in delivery fees because she never asked us how we wanted to receive the items. We even asked the manager, who came up to greet us, what our delivery options were before we started shopping. He went through all three options but when it came time to pay she never said anything about choosing a different option and by that time we had spent 2 hours in the store and forgot to say otherwise but I don’t think the “white glove delivery” should be what is assumed.

Very friendly, respectful and quick to complete the delivery while making sure we were completely satisfied. Great delivery team!

After looking at everything in the store, she wrote us up for the first couch she showed us. Lawanda was easy to get along with and she is well versed in her products. Honestly not even sure what the furniture was like. I went in looking for something and the staff would NOT leave me alone. Three different employees came up and when I said I didn’t need any help, they lingered for 5-10 minutes each just trying to strike up a conversation. Left before I made it out of the mattress room because I couldn’t get away from it and I was so irritated. Will not be retuning simply because they cannot just let you shop. Told me their entire life stories

**UPDATED** Please read entire review! HORRIBLE! Purchase experience was fine. Took longer than I wanted to get a sofa and recliner. When I finally got it the recliner was damaged from shipping as the box was not even intact when delivered and fabric was torn. Getting it repaired is an absolute nightmare. Taken over a month and still can't get it repaired as they are trying to send the tech to their own distribution facility instead of my house. I have confirmed the address with them at least a dozen times over half a dozen calls to their foreign call center. I am DONE with this company and will NEVER buy from Ashley ever again. It is NOT worth the hassle. ***UPDATE*** In response, you want me to call the same number that is an automated A.I. or speak to an entire staff of incompetent fools that can't get my address correct when it was confirmed multiple times? So, start it all over?!? This just further highlights why I will NEVER do business with Ashley Homestore ever again. It is very apparent that you do not and will not repair the furniture that was delivered damaged.

We purchased a really expensive couch from Ashley's. Within weeks the cushions started having problems. They said they would send us 2 new cushions to replace the defective ones. We only received one! We called 6+ times and everytime they said it will be shipped out in 2-3 weeks. Then it would never arrive! No matter who we talk to, THEY ALL LIE!!! It has been over 5 months now and we still keep getting the run around! No one with this company has been helpful. The one year warranty is total BS! THIS COMPANY LIES SO BUYER BEWARE!

I worked with Sarah. She allowed me time to look around, then once I gave her my thoughts of my likes…she took time with me and had lots of patience with my indecisiveness. Bottom line, was very helpful and made the whole process a breeze.

Yusaf from Ashley Furniture was such an amazing worker! He was personable as well as honest! He took the time to understand exactly what I was looking for and made the whole process easy and stress-free. His product knowledge and genuine care for customers really stood out. If you’re shopping for quality furniture and great service, definitely ask for Yusaf at Ashley Furniture @ the South County Location. Btw- I did choose a sectional and ottoman !

It was a pleasant experience! Ann was knowledgeable, not pushy, she gave us choices to decide for what we liked. Also she was very helpful in determining the sizes by measuring the love seat to see if it would fit in our apartment doorway. She gave us payment options which was very helpful. All in all I love the reclining loveseat and color.

*Can’t say enough good things about Damien!* Editing this review to show my increased dissatisfaction with my Ashley experience. Delivery date was insinuated to be lining up with our move however we have received no word as to when that will be and the deadline is fast approaching. There is also a culture of sales dishonesty in relation to their credit card that I would wager starts at Ashley corporate, is passed to sales managers, and then gets pinned on sales people. It is incredibly unlikely I shop at Ashley again despite my good “day of” experience. Leaving a second star because I really did like Damien.

Excellent service!

The sales person was great. The customer service that we have received from Ashley has been horrible! There was a issue with the furniture that we received. Someone finally came out to look at it and tried to fix it. It is not 100% but they still marked the issue as resolved. I do not recommend Ashley Furniture. Edit: I would like to point out that I have emailed and texted them and they have not been helpful. I will try calling again on Monday.

I am updating my review because we have had a terrible time here. Several months ago, we bought some furniture and I posted on here that it was damaged and nobody returned my phone calls in regards to this After somebody at corporate, saw it, they reached out to us. We came to a resolution and they told me it would take one billing cycle. It has now been three billing cycles and Ian from customer service will no longer return my emails. I have sent him three more following up that the things he promised did not happen and he quit responding to me. So for three months now, even though we came to a resolution, they never credited me for the damaged furniture and they will no longer respond any of my emails I do not recommend anyone buying furniture here, if they make a mistake, they will lie to you and not fix it This is exactly the type of place you hope you don’t end up buying furniture at. They literally do not care about consumers. They just want your money. I gave them more than a fair chance to right what they did wrong. I only came back here to edit my email because I don’t know what else to do. Do yourself a favor and do not shop at these stores they do not care about you

My husband and my experience here was a positive one . We went in to buy a recliner for my husband. Our sales lady was very helpful and showed him exactly he was looking for. She was patient as he took time to sit in various recliners and try the different features of each chair. He found one that suited him. She informed us that it was on sale and so we saved over 300.00 dollars. We will recommend this store and buy from them again.👍.

Nice furniture and decent prices, though they tout that it is made in 7 American factories yet the piece I bought was made in Vietnam. Also their robo customer service is horrible. I spent almost an hour trying to reach a real human at the distribution center. If you want a person, use the prompt for a new purchase, then you can be assured you will reach a person instead of a machine. That is a good trick for most robo machine customer lines. They don't want to miss a sale, but once you've made a purchase you are on your own trying to navigate useless AI machines.

Towards end of July we visited Ashley store, Lemay ferry road, the purchase experience was good, we bought 2 full beds and 2 mattresses with an agreed date of delivery on 8/19/25, however, the delivery guys arrived late inconveniencing us, the most disappointing bit is that they only delivered 2 beds without mattresses “lol who delivers and fixes beds without mattresses, I would rather you delivered the mattresses and left the beds”. On contacting the store they now say the mattresses will be delivered on 9/2/25, yes almost two weeks from the original dates of delivery.So Ashley did not find it important to inform/discuss with us prior to delivery changes, now that I had already gotten rid of my old stuff to create space are the children supposed to sleep on the couch for two weeks??? horrible experience to say the least, very disappointed.

Purchased a chair on 10th of August. The pattern I wanted wasn't available for 4 to 6 wks. So I settled for the one in stock. Was told delivery would be on Tuesday 19th (today). My husband got a text on Sunday (when they're closed) that now it wouldn't be here till 26th thru 30th. He called on Mon to say those dates were no good. We needed the chair now. So they transferred his call and no one answered. He kept calling and on 3rd try gave up and called delivery dept, thru cancelation dept and no one has called back. So he called credit card company to cancel payment. This IS NOT WHITE GLOVE SERVICE as they claim. Would NEVER recommend this store. So disappointing. Went in to buy 2 recliners that were seen online. They were not available but the person helped us by suggesting another set and we love them after picking them up ourselves

Bought a new sofa and loveseat last week and arranged for their white-glove delivery to come 2 days later. All was good until the delivery. The delivery drivers damaged my wall trying to force the sofa in instead of just tilting it slightly to easily bring it in. When the driver saw the hole in the drywall, there was no apology or anything, just a simple “someone will reach out to you within 3-4 days about that”. The loveseat had a slight tear on one of the corners and when I pointed it out they just picked it up and took it with them and said you’ll get a replacement. The following day we arranged for delivery of the replacement loveseat for Saturday. When it finally came we realized it was the same one that we had sent back during the original delivery. The tear on the corner looked like it was just glued back and very poorly touched up. We did not feel like waiting any longer or dealing with any more headaches so we just accepted it. We submitted a claim about the wall damage and have not heard anything back in 4 days regarding it. For paying over $300 for this “white glove delivery” I will say I am extremely disappointed in the service I got. I have bought almost all the furniture in my house from Ashley and after this I will not be buying anything more from them.

Even the store manager was involved and said they would pick the old mattress up. They didnt do anything they said they would do during our sale. Now I have a mattress sitting in my hallway. I suggest not using Jacquoline B. she will straight up lie to you. Or go elsewhere and not have to worry about being lied to during a sale. Since your the owner and want to fix it. Send a truck out tomorrow morning and pick it up. That is how you fix the problem you caused

Recently bought a Signature series bed frame from our local Ashley Home store on Lemay Ferry. We opted to do a customer pickup from the local distribution center. The next day we picked up the items on our order. Immediately noticed two of the three boxes had been previously opened, the boxes were stamped with a different part # than what we ordered. Upon unboxing, one item had missing hardware and multiple damaged pieces. The other repackaged box was the completely wrong part with missing pieces. Called for a warranty exchange which they honored. Returned to distribution center following day and exchanged. Got home and started unboxing and once again one of the items the box had been previously opened. Inside all the parts were at least there this time but multiple pieces damaged because of the shoddy repack job. At the least the second item exchanges was correct, brand new in factory sealed packaging. Called warranty exchange for yet another replacement and was told I would need to wait to receive a call back. I am sure they will but beware...they tried to pass me what amounts to trash as brand new, high quality Signature series furniture twice now. Update: Ashley eventually got it right. The third visit back to the local distribution center they finally presented a brand new, factory sealed part that was damage free. Moral of this story, if you purchase for self pickup do NOT trust any packaging that shows any sign of being preopened or items repackaged. Who ever is doing this obviously does NOT care about the customer or Ashley's reputation.

Our Sales rep was great! Moving fees are horrendous!!!! I was not informed up front about the moving fees because I did not ask. The more you buy the bigger the moving fee! YOU NEED to let the customers know up front about the fees!!!!! The fee chart the sales rep use needs to be posted as a huge sticker on the front door when you walk in and put it through the store for all customers to see! It's the right thing to do! It is a make or break deal for some! Customers need to know UPFRONT what these ridiculous moving fees are BEFORE going in! Again, the sales staff Cindy in the Tesson Ferry store in St Louis was great. Save out middle class, remove the fee or at least make the fee FAIR! Was a 5 star rating until I was hit with the fee!

I was waiting on right away. Everything was explained to me to my liking very well. All of my questions were answer. The store manager made sure that the gentleman who had waited on me before got the credit for my sale. I would recommend Ashley furniture to anybody. Ashley has wonderful furniture and I have bought from there before and everything is holding up very well.

So originally, I was thinking I should’ve gone to Ashley furniture first. I was purchasing a power lift recliner for my mother, and had invested many hours looking on Amazon, provider plus, medical west, value city furniture, MediEqip, and Lift inc. Ashley furniture had what seemed to be good quality chairs, and reasonable prices. I ended up in the store for a total of two hours while the salesman and the manager bumbled around with printers and phones and computers that were allegedly not functioning properly. I was able to remain pretty patient and understanding during this. But when my sister went to pick up the chair at the warehouse today, and was told we were given the wrong paper work I am beyond frustrated. She had to drive back to the store and waste even more time, once again, trying to get the paperwork, and then back to the warehouse. We have to hire a sitter to be with my mother when we run errands like this, so it would be really amazing if anyone could do their job competently.

Will never buy from again purchased a $900 reclining sofa less than a year ago. It is now peeling cracking. The stitching is coming out. There is a one year warranty from the store and even though it’s within that one year they won’t warrantee anything on the couch. 🤷‍♀️

Review of Ashley HomeStore—I Had to Sue Them to Get My Money Back If you’re thinking about shopping at Ashley HomeStore, do yourself a favor and don’t. What should have been a simple furniture purchase turned into a months-long nightmare. After I paid, Ashley HomeStore failed to deliver on what they promised. I called, emailed, and followed up endlessly — nothing got resolved. To make matters worse, I made three separate trips to the store in person trying to sort this out. Each time, I was met with excuses and zero accountability. This dragged on for so long that I finally filed a small claims case in Jefferson County, Missouri (Case No. 25JE-SC00008). Only after suing them did Ashley HomeStore finally refund me the money I had been owed all along. And because of how poorly they handled everything, the judge awarded me an additional $1,100.00 in damages. Let me be clear — Ashley didn’t resolve this because they value customer service. They did it because they got sued and lost. If you don’t want to waste your time, money, and energy, I’d strongly recommend shopping somewhere else. This company only reacts when a courtroom and a judge force them to.

Ashley doesn’t even deserve 1 Star honestly. We spent way too much on a bed but it’s what we wanted so we went with it. The bed specialist Kevin (No Specialist that’s for sure) will get you to lay on every bed that he can sell that’s the highest price he can. Set you up with overpriced pillows and bed covers. When you get them of course they were wrong. We purchased a storage bed and lift base and mattress. Again at a price way over what we hoped. Long story short. They delivered a week after they said they could, got the wrong lift base. After leaving with base they said it was the right one and would return by 3 to install it. Didn’t show and after several calls I got a hold of delivery. He said “Oh they didn’t call you ? Appears it was the wrong base. So back to automated run around after going to store and discuss with the worthless store manager. They eventually came out with the same base and installed it on slats ( well bottom side and top legs are just hanging there.) Called, went to store many times and purchased it Feb 4th and they won’t come out and even look at the worthless installers work.DO NOT BUY FROM ASHLEY!! Unless you enjoy major run around and no solutions when they screw it up. Sorry couldn’t make long story short. Horrible experience and still dealing with it as of April 10th.

2 stars because everyone is nice. A lot of bait and switch goes on. Went on Sat. Was told all accessories, pictures & bedding 90% off because they want to close for remodel & don't want to pack stuff up. 3 people said that to us. We spent hours in the store picking things out. Time for check out & those people are nowhere around. Now we are dealing with 2 others & a manager who was extremely lazy. Suddenly a lot of what we picked out was not 90% off. When we said that 3 people told us that & even took stuff off the walls for us, all we got was "oh sorry you were told that." Even the manager who didn't get off of his butt, didn't really care. So we wasted 1/2 the day. Fast forward Mon. morning, called the store to see if the sale was still on. "Yes it is until the 21st when we close." Go back there. New people & different Mgr. Now say 50% off even though big signs in the windows clearly read 80 & 90%. Bait & switch mess! Nobody seems to know facts & you never get the same answer twice they just make crap up as they go.

My most recent purchase has been horrible. I purchased a replacement side rail for my son queen size bed. I ordered this piece back in December. I was given so much misinformation on this piece such as it's at the warehouse to it's at the store to now it's still with the manufacture with a estimated shipping date of Mid-March. I have never experienced anything like this with Ashley.

Ashley's had a large inventory of bedroom and living room furniture. Our salesman was Paul Chaffin. Paul pointed us in the right direction of the furniture we were looking for. Once we found the furniture we were looking for, Paul was able to get us the best price possible. Highly recommend seeing Paul when you visit Ashley's Furniture. I have never wrote a review on Google until now. My boyfriend and I worked with the salesperson, Kevin. We have a small basement with tight measurements. We were assured that the backs came off and would fit within our measurements. After waiting a week for delivery day, we got a text we were stop 11 for the day. Our estimated arrival time was between 2-5ish. We sat at home all day and night waiting. However, it just kept getting pushed. They did not come until almost 8:30 that night. This is in no way the delivery guys fault but the stores fault for making their customers wait way past delivery times and that is a lot of work to put on the employees delivering. When they arrived (in the dark) the furniture was not as promised. The backs were stitched on and did not come apart. None of the couch fit through the door forcing the delivery people to take them back. My boyfriend and I were incredibly disappointed and very upset after waiting 6 hours for delivery. I called the store at 8:30 that night and spoke with Jason. I was told there was nothing that could be done that night till he talked to our salesperson. The next morning we got a call from Kevin. He stated he didn’t realize that they didn’t come apart and offered for us to come in and pick out something different. We asked for a refund and decided to go elsewhere where we got much better service. We will never shop at Ashley Furniture again.

He gave us all of the information we needed without question and was glad to help. He grabbed us waters and a candy (for my daughter) as well. He was knowledgeable, quick, friendly, and successful! We finally bought our new couch!

I bought some furniture from them and immediately the drawer slides broke, using cheap and inferior part. I was able to fix that myself so no big deal, the part that gets me is I bought a coffee table and 2 end tables and the second end table will not fit in the room. The furniture was never opened but they will not take the return, even if it is in the box still they say absolutely no returns. How does someone do business like this, I will never spend my money there again. Not to mention the said I would have my furniture in one week and it took nearly a month!!! What a joke.

The company delivery personnel absolutely suck, actually rating is no stars. They didn’t set up the sectional and didn’t even plug in the chair, they told my wife that they would continue setting up the furniture but they left with the front door wide open on a 20 degree day and then the real pain started and that was dealing with customer service and the delivery warehouse. I will never ever never buy another product from Ashley

I was told that my item was in stock and then filled out the credit info to do payment interest free. Then after my credit was ran I was told not all pieces were in stock. So now I have a credit hit because the staff is not educated. I do not recommend. You cannot undo a credit hit.

We bought furniture on July 4 th 2 of the 3 pieces are already leaning and the recliner jams up when closing , now Ashley sends you to a third party for the returns, the third party tells us Ashley never sent my info. It’s really a joke we spent good $ and we bought local. But the furniture is poorly built and I’ve been trying to get someone to replace them for over a month.

We were impressed when we first arrived. Someone greeted us right away and answered all of our questions. In less than an hour, we bought a chair. Since we left the store, however, we've had nothing but problems. We were given a date for the delivery two weeks after we purchased it, but our order has been changed three additional times since then, and counting. We were informed that we can no longer work with this store because we have to go through the warehouse. After weeks of automated calls, sometimes daily, I called Ashley Furniture again and asked to speak to a live person. I was given a different number to call, and that's when I learned that deliveries can take 2-16 weeks! Apparently this information is on the form we signed, but no one at Ashley explained this to us. The new delivery date is one month after we purchased the chair--assuming it actually arrives. If we knew it would take this long--or possibly longer--we would have gone elsewhere.

Being a Veteran there should be Free delivery on all our purchases no matter how much we spend.

Salesman Paul was great but the rest was horrible. First, sent Black Friday coupon that was worth nothing. If you tried to buy something at sale price, not allowed 0% financing. If you wanted the “0% financing” then an additional 2% added to original price. So you are now paying even more for “0%financing”. What a scam. This use to be a good, honest company. Appears to be a greeedy, money hungry company now. So sorry Paul lost out on his commission, but I will not do business with a company charging for 0%financing

Was told we would get delivery 11/25. Received a message from Jason the general store manager that someone entered the ticket incorrectly and delivery would be several days later. When we tried to call back it’s impossible to speak to the person you need to. We were routed to the distribution center who told us that delivery was indeed scheduled for Monday 11/25. We have received a text to confirm delivery. Called the store manager to confirm since he was the one who called stating delivery had been pushed off. He then says it is a pick up not a delivery. The general manager is very rude and as a manager has no regard for customer service. Our salesman was great. The managers could care less if they get your business They make no apologies for error or try to make it right. It’s like ATT no one knows what they’re talking about and everyone has a different story. Customer service is dead. Our experience definitely does not have us wanting to go back.

The purchase went fine. Your text system for delivery isn't working well and I never gave permission to bombard me with promo emails. Tried to unsubscribe from email but it just takes me to more shopping options which I believe isn't in compliance with regulations. Edit. 0 stars. If you have any issues, nothing is handled by the stores. I would highly highly recommend going to a different furniture store

Had an excellent salesman & large selection

We bought a couch last week and paid for delivery. It was scheduled for delivery on the 12th however when we got home we got a text saying great news we can deliver your couch sooner text 2 for the 7 so I did. They text back great we will see you then. So I got rid of the old couch and took the day off to wait. Just to find out they never rescheduled my delivery and now I have to wait a week with no furniture and a day unpaid. They said even though it's my fault there's nothing they can do!

I had a really great experience with Lawanda at Ashley in south county. I needed a new mattress for my daughter and she looked up what my son has that we bought last year. We got the same one that we got for my son and the service was so easy and Lawanda was extremely nice. I will definitely ask for Lawanda when we go back for our living room furniture.

The sales person I dealt with was Paul Chaffin. He was extremely patient; I had been in the store twice as I was undecided on which bedroom set I wanted. He priced out two complete five piece sets for me - he was very accommodating. He was knowledgeable in assisting me with mattress and foundation choice as well. My furniture is scheduled to be delivered in a few weeks per my request. I am happy with the aesthetic of the set and am hopeful I will be happy with the sturdiness of the set I selected. There are a wide variety of styles and price points at the Ashley South County Store which is helpful in making a choice.

We had a wonderful sales lady who helped us in our search for a new couch and loveseat. She was friendly, super helpful, and not pushy (as many salespeople can be). We love Ashley Furniture!

We had a five star experience today at Ashley Furniture in St Louis South County. Our salesperson, Brian Owen’s, was knowledgeable of the furniture we were shopping for, presented options and gave us time to decide on the products we selected. Brian’s customer service skills were solid and really appreciated. Great job, Brian.

Furniture was a good price and employees were very nice and efficient at the store. However the delivery experience was Bad! A handle was broken off my Furniture and I was told by the delivery guy I would receive a new one in the mail, that's how they do it. Never got a new handle. Called manager and got the run around as he said they don't handle that and I will have to call customer service. Not professional!

10/15/24 Update: Still having issues. The last pieces of my bedroom set were brought, yet again damaged, and I had to send back. They also nicked the dresser I already had in my room and the door frame. Along with leaving a mess throughout my house, driveway and yard. Horrible service. Plus no one from the store or higher up has called me about my issues and I've talked to multiple people who "assured" me someone would. I have emails and text even saying someonen will call. They all lie and no one actually cares. Once they've made the sale and got their money, they are done being helpful. Original post: If I could give a -5 rating I would. I placed an order in the store around the end of August. The salesman, Chris, was amazing and I ended up spending over $9,000 to furnish my house. But from the moment the first part of my order was delivered it has been nothing but a nightmare. In the first order the one night stand was damaged so I sent it back and asked for a replacement. I waited a week or so and when the replacement came it was the same exact piece I sent back the first time! I was blown away that they'd try to pull one over me. Then I called and scheduled for a replacement, again, to be sent. We set it up to be delivered on the same day as my bed frame set. Which took a month to get delivered. But when they showed up with my delivery all they had was a night stand, no bed. To top it off the night stand was in worse condition then the original one. Multiple spots were nicked, scratched, and on top of that it wasn't even leveled. It rocked when you touched it. How did no one notice? So I had to send it back again. The delivery guy told me he put in a request for a supervisor to call me in no more than 5 minutes. It's been over an hour and no one called. That's now 3 night stands that have came damaged and I had to send back. So it's been over a month and I don't have the night stand or my bed. When I call customer service they said the bed wasn't delivered because it didn't arrive in time to make it on the truck and that someone should have called to reschedule the delivery and apologized for them not calling. But she stated they have it ready for delivery but I have to wait 5 more days for an opening. If they have it now, someone should have put it on the truck today or brought it out once they realized THEY messed up! Since it was supposed to come with the night stand. Plus I don't have time to keep taking off to be home because when you schedule the delivery you won't get an estimated delivery time until 24hrs prior. So I have to take off the whole day so I can be available! I have spent so much time and energy on trying to get what I ordered and it's been a nightmare and horrible customer service. My mom was with me when I ordered everything and she even wrote a review for Chris because he was great. Because of him she was planning to go back and buy multiple pieces to refurnish her house but now she is not going to order anything. Their customer service and delivery process is horrible. I should have read the reviews and looked on BBB before going there because I see this is common for them. Lesson learned on my end.

Just called and spoke with a guy to see if they had a certain couch in store so I could get my order sooner. He seemed annoyed that that’s what I wanted and said he’d transfer me to someone who could help. Of course I was transferred back to the same automated system I had the first time with zero answers to my question.

The salesman was very helpful and took time to help us with we needed and explained everything on what the cost would be we are very happy.

Andy was amazing to work with. We came in to get bedroom furniture and that’s what we got. He was easy to talk to and helped us get the set we wanted. He helped us get the right mattress and foundation to fit our needs. It took us a bit to find what we wanted but he was very patient with us through the whole process. Thank you so much.

My fiancé and I tried to visit this store. As soon as we walked in we were bombarded with sales people. Understandably so, we heard them out and were reassured we wouldn’t be bugged anymore. Only to be followed around the store and spoken to twice more by the same person. This time we made it even obvious we aren’t interested in their credit card or other products. Trying to ignore this, we continued looking & tested out a STOOL. Only to be interrupted by more sales people who are trying to sell us on a new mattress. Which we didn’t even come for. The fact that you cannot walk around peacefully is by far the worst part. The salespersons made this the worst experience. We walked out of that store with intentions of spending money.

Our sales person was Lawanda! She was incredibly helpful, showed us exactly what we were looking for, and didn't veer off the path! Did I mention how sweet she was and has a great sense of humor! One of the BEST sales floor rep I've ever encountered! We love our new furniture! Thanks, Lawanda, and kudos to you for a job well done!

My daughter and myself were both looking for some new furniture. Our sales person, Chris, was an awesome sales rep. Due to his efforts to help us with so many questions we had, we both will be purchasing a lot from Ashley. I would highly recommend Chris. He put forth a huge effort to help us both. Great experience I was not approached by a salesperson until I had questions about their sale. I ask an associate who was very helpful and actually found me exactly what I was looking for. This particular sofa was on sale and I had not seen it on my walk through. I bought it and it will be delivered on the date I requested. I can’t write about using it/or quality since I don’t have it yet. The salesperson was outstanding and it was a simple process for purchasing.

Can’t get anyone on the phone (not totally uncommon these days but still frustrating) Spent 35+ minutes shopping around in store and couldn’t get attention from any of the 5 workers we saw. Not a “welcome in” “can we help you?” Absolutely nothing. Found the couch we wanted and were ready to purchase. Ended up leaving, checking out Slumberland (they didn’t have the couch for us but A++ customer service.) Ordered from Ashley online and saved 900+ dollars verses in store. *adding now that we’ve received my order to compliment the three guys who deliver and got my sectional unloaded quickly. They were so friendly and helpful.

worst customer service I've ever experienced. they put the wrong bed rails in our order and it's taken nearly 3 weeks to even schedule the right rails for delivery, now delivery is gonna be another 10 days out. this whole time I've had to sleep on the floor and get nothing but a "sorry for the inconvenience" from every one I talk to

Prices are crazy but the service is really good.

Bought our daughter an expensive bedroom set for her graduation gift. Almost a month later, the slats for her bed have still not arrived. No one will even deal with this. I have always recommended this store, but never again.

I purchased a couch a year and a half ago and also purchased the extended warranty. My couch is literally falling apart. All the seams have come undone and all the stuffing from the in the pillows is falling down. I spent $400 on an extended warranty and Ashley And the warranty company said there’s nothing they can do. I called her. They hang up on me. I was on the phone for over four hours from switch from department department. Don’t buy furniture for them. There are nothing but scammers rip offs.

Andy showed me several beautiful and comfortable sofas and told me to take my time checking them out. No pressure!! I really liked that. I found what I was looking for and Andy and I were satisfied. NEVER BUY FROM ASHLEY!!!! We made a large purchase almost 3 years ago of over $10,000 worth of furniture. We spent all that time exchanging damaged merchandise and asked for returns several times! They insisted the only way to go was by exchange due to it being delivered. We accepted those terms and spent years trying to get furniture that was in like new condition. It consistently arrived with significant damage including a nail sticking out the bottom of a dresser that scratched my hard wood floor. The exchanges took so long that we moved multiple times and had a baby. While my wife was days away from giving delivery, she called and informed them that we were having a baby and moving. They told us since it was past the normal 14 days, we would have to call back to reschedule when we were done moving. We called a month later and was told our exchange was cancelled and that there was nothing we could do. They told us we were stuck with the damaged merchandise. We asked to speak to a supervisor and were told someone would call us. They never did. We called back a week later and were told the same thing. No call. We called a 3rd time and finally got a call back. The gentleman could barely speak English and when we told him our story, he hung up on us. This is the worst customer service I’ve ever seen in my life. I WOULD RATHER PAY DOUBLE SOMEWHERE ELSE THAN TO EVER SHOP HERE AGAIN. Never buy from Ashley!!!!!

Neighbor rec'd furniture legs seperate. Went to put legs in no holes in bottom where legs go! Has called and total run around. They offered him a 50 gift certificate!!! Still waiting to hear from them about repair or?? Beware if buying from Ashley

Our salesman Andy from the South county store was fantastic. The store manager Scott was absolutely terrible. Treated us like we were dirt in the ground and definitely doesn't know how to speak to customers respectfully. He shouldn't be the manager at all. We were told we could pick up our furniture after we initially scheduled delivery which we tried to do to save $400 and they let us know we could go to the distribution center to pick it up and then Scott tells us we can't. So rude and ignorant. Then our delivery was scheduled between 3p - 6p and our furniture didn't arrive until 7pm which was dinner time. That's completely uncalled for. I had to take a whole day off waiting for this furniture. I'm extremely unhappy and I won't be coming back for future purchases.

Trash trash trash! Customer service is nonexistent! They flat out lie and don’t disclose information or change the story on “their policy “. The delivery drivers are shady and refuse to take away agreed to old mattress because it had a small soda stain said they couldn’t put it on the truck with new furniture. (I was never told the old mattress must be pristine)(the mattress was wrapped in plastic and taped up as they instructed me to do at the time of my purchase and this was all I was told to do ) then tried to make money off me by saying “they could take it to the dump for $30.” Jason the store manager is rude and argumentative. In the last year I’ve spent $10 thousand dollars at this store and this was the third time I’ve bought a mattress from I’m here! never again! Trash

Cindy was amazing and helped me find the perfect recliner. Edit...the recliner was substandard workmanship. Upholstery staples were not flush with the side board and when my 11 yr old grandson reached between the cushion and side of the seat to retrieve the remote it shredded the back of his hand. This was less than 24 hrs after the chair was delivered. Delivery guy had said I had 72 hrs to report issue. Went to where I bought the chair and was informed 1. they did not do customer service at stores or at Ashley period they out source it to a non Ashley company 2. I was informed the drive who said 72 hrs was wrong and instead the moment I signed for delivery Ashleys responsibility for the defective chair or any furniture was non refundable PERIOD wth apparently it was in the very small print of the computer form I signed. At NO time did anyone tell me this at Ashley or I would have bought it somewhere else. Scammers...dishonest...should be under a lemon law offense...like a slimy used car salesman

I have shopped and purchased at this location several times. One purchase 5 years ago I spent over $7,000 and purchased the warranty($649) and was told if I didn’t use the warranty in those 5 years then I would be able to use the value of the warranty to make a purchase in the store. The value is good for 180 days after the warranty expires. I have been in the store several times since the warranty value became available to look for something to buy and was told by several different associates who I had shown my warranty card to that I could use it to purchase ANYTHING in the store. I came to the store to finally make a purchase and when the associate greeted me I showed her my certificate and once again asked if I could use it on ANYTHING in the store and she said YES. I picked out several decor items and a filing cabinet. It took 40 minutes of her and the manager ringing up my items; apparently decor items are not in their system and the manager had to manually enter them so the associate could ring them up. Makes me wonder how they can possibly do inventory if so many items aren’t even in the system… She said she wanted to scream every time she had to call him over so he could take an item over to his computer to add it to the system. When she was done she picked up my warranty certificate which had been by her computer the whole time and the manager said oh that can’t be used for any of this. He said everything I picked out was clearance; nothing had a red tag or a price marked out or came from a special section indicating that it was clearance. He said clearance items couldn’t be used and I said I didn’t know these items were clearance, and that I had been told I could use it on anything in the store. He said whatever I wanted would have to be put on layaway before I could purchase it with my certificate. I was quite upset after having spent over 2 hours in the store already and asked where it said this and he said it was policy. He read through my certificate and no where on it does it indicate that decor can’t be purchased or anything about layaway. He could not show me anywhere that these “policies” were in writing. I explained that several employees told me I could use it on ANYTHING in the store and he said, no my employees know the rules. Apparently not because the associate who was helping me didn’t tell me these “policies.” He said he guessed he could try calling his regional manager and walked away and I walked out of that store. An exception shouldn’t have to be made for me to use my certificate. The “policies” should be clearly written out for employees and customers to understand.

Bought two recliners. Delivery was on time but one of the recliners is defective. Customer service in this area is a joke. We had to send pictures in an email and they would see if they could get a service technician to come out in a week or ten days. Absolutely unacceptable! They should bring us a new chair and take back the defective one. Unbelievable! For a national company this is the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

The warranty policy was sold to me as if the Ashley Store would work with me to replace any damaged items. This is untrue; they use a third party company ProtectAll who finds any cause to not approve a claim filed. Learn from my mistake and DONT BUY THE WARRANTY

The associate we spoke with on the phone was very professional, knowledgeable and helpful. We were very pleased in our interactions with her.

The showroom is very nice. No one bombarded us when we walked in, which was nice to settle in and look around a bit solo. Sales person was kind - they pushed the protection plan repeatedly even after we declined but overall, pleasant, easy and quick experience!

Update Jason went back on he’s word to give me and my wife what we purchased, he came up with something like we investigated and found out it was no wrong doing on our in??? I’m like excuse me?? He stood me up for to days had me thinking he was on my side helping me I had to tell him I will contact police I tried calling all the bogus numbers they gave me but they kept sending me back to the rip off store , Thank god Lisa from corporate called me before It got ugly , she said they ordered it and it will be here in a month , still inconvenient tho I’m just glad they understand and care about the customer, it’s sad I had to get it ok from someone who’s all the way up smh . I hope no other customer have to go through what I went through we are American citizens living at hard time, why would our own stores go with ripping somebody off putting us through so much trauma!!! This manager is very rude and should not be doing customer service a Jason McKee. He refused to return two unopened pillows and then got into a verbal arguement with me. I attempted to cancel the rest of my 3000 dollar order which he also refused to do. I will never do business with this store again. Ashley corporate needs to fire this man as i have seen other complaints on him as well. I wish i would have tapped this conversation to bring to an attorney and sue this place.

Update (4 months later): Tim is still awesome but Ashley’s products are not!!!! Barely 4 months old and our $2600 couch is breaking down. Didn’t get the warranty because it only covers accidents and not structural issues. Buy your stuff off Amazon, it’ll last just as long but a fraction of the price. 5 starts: Tim was awesome!!! Very helpful without being over bearing. 10/10!

If i could give negative stars i would ! We bought two beds LAST CHRISTMAS! They didn't have the proper rails for one of the beds but put it together anyway and said we'd have the correct rail in a week or two.... It's been over a year now that we've ordered the bed ... Guess what NO RAIL ! and the bottom drawer is not accessible because of this as well.... We've called, texted, emailed, went in store .... We continue to pay them but, they REFUSE TO BE ACCOUNTABLE AND FIX THE BED THAT WE PAID OVER $2000 FOR ! I'M IRATE TO SAY THE LEAST

I was not given white glove delivery as indicated on my invoice. Delivery workers were courteous but said they do not put things together when I asked them if they install the shelves on my shelving unit. Also, the legs were not installed on my server piece. So.. if those things are important to you.. make sure they do them.

Bought a recliner today and Jason was very helpful and informative.

I purchased an entire bedroom set. The footboard had flaws in it. I told the delivery person before he left. He told me to call Ashley. I did and a service order was put in. After a few weeks the “repair” company came. The tech couldn’t fix the flaws. He said he would note that in the ticket that it can’t be fixed as he can’t sand out and repaint. Instead the tech just closed the ticket as if he had repaired it. Now Ashley is saying they have to send the same company out again to do the same thing. Because until that company, SAW Furniture repair states it can’t be fixed Ashley won’t do anything. SAW Furniture has a D rating with the BBB and numerous complaints. I was still planning on getting some additional new furniture but at this point it won’t be from Ashley.

The customer service is terrible the manager Jason hung up on me. I will never visit another Ashley store.

Terrible experience with brand new loveseat that needed servicing. Tech had no idea what he was doing and was watching YouTube videos trying to fix it. Took him 3.5 hours and the loveseat is now in pieces all over my mom’s floor. They can’t come fix it now for another month and my step dad just fell off of the loveseat and hit his head due to the mess that was made. I’ve tried calling the service department 10 times and they tell me a manager will call me back and they never do. My next step is hiring an attorney which I’ve never done my entire life. Zero stars for this company.

I have bought several things from them over the last two years. The delivery time is never when promised. They keep pushing it further and further back. When you call to check on the status they said they can’t even find my order with my phone number or with the sales order number on the receipt so I gave them 7,000$ and they can’t find the order? You have no clue when you are getting it. Stay away from Ashley on Lemay ferry in St. Louis Missouri. Review edited. I was able to get a hold of a manager named Anthony. He said your order will be there on time I don’t know why they kept calling you and changing the delivery date we have everything for your order ready to go we will see if it comes in time like he stated.

LIARS, waited over 3 weeks for delivery, it's not happening anytime soon, all we get is excuses for spending 2k cash on a living room outfit, now they claim they did not give a delivery date and may take another 6 weeks, ether the sales person lied or we are liars and it's not us, even got a bot texting us lies 2 days ago stating it was being prepared, we have city clean up 2 days and wanted to get our old set out for it, now will be stuck with it till next April

Do not buy any furniture that needs assembly from Ashley's. We bought a bedroom set in June and have had nothing but problems with the Ashley's team ever since. We are STILL waiting for pieces to be fixed and the whole situation has been a nightmare. Once the set was delivered and setup we found that one drawer did not open, the bed frame itself was not setup correctly so it is slanted, and the dresser door and drawer was bent during install. We reported these things to Ashley's. A month later they sent someone to take a look. He then had to put in a work order and order a new drawer slide. The parts arrived another month later and it took multiple calls and emails to the store before being assigned someone to actually come and fix it. The soonest someone could be assigned to our work order was October and something tells me not all pieces will be fixed at that time. Incredibly disappointed with Ashley's and would never buy another thing that needed assembly from them. After paying for the "white glove" service we've found it's not worth the hassle.

The driver and the other young man, helping him both did a great job bringing in the furniture and getting it set up with no problem. They seemed professional and courteous as well.

Von was amazing!! She helped me pick out the perfect set. She explained the benefit of several bedroom sets that I looked at. She was patient as I thought about my options and how I wanted to proceed. Never pushy and always helpful. Everyone should go and ask for her!!

So let me 1st say my sales lady was so sweet and we had no issues with her. We purchased because they assured us we could purchase and think about it and as long as we canceled the order before delivery all fees would be reversed. We were concerned about the base and I tried calling but didn't feel it was clear that we they wrote up the correct base. We wanted to ensure before it was delivered. When I called the store they would not look over my receipt, they would only tell me that it had all the features I wanted by what i told them when online is said differentplus the price was off. How would they know if they are not looking at my actual receipt and checking item numbers.. next I found the mattress protector at a cheaper price so I decided to take that one back since nothing had been delivered yet and mattress protector had no reason to be opened or used since we didn't even have the mattress yet. When I walked in to ashley to inquire in person about our base and return the maytress protector they pointed me to the store manager, who could assist me. I told him I had questions and wanted to return my matress cover still secured and unopened in the bag just as it was when we walked out of the store. He instantly became so hasty with me and said we don't do returns on matress covers. We cant help you. hmm but I haven't even opened this as u can see and I don't have the matress or base yet and speaking if i have some questions, but before I could even ask about my base, he said- well I don't know what to tell you, we don't take returns on matress protectors. I felt so upset that he had such a hateful stern grouchy attitude with no eye contact and he wasn't hearing me and ignoring me, so I handed him the full receipt and told him to cancel the entire order. At this point I choose to shop elsewhere. His mouth dropped. He now wants to talk and is interested in why??? He ask me why I wanted to cancel an almost 7,000 dollar order. I explained at this point his attitude was the reason. I did try to explain how we were wanting to check on the ergo smart base we were purchasing to make sure ours had massage and Bluetooth. He ignored and walked away as i spoke to another sales lady whom was kind and understood what i was saying. I asked her why he walked away and She told me he was calling synchrony bank. He was so rude and gave no response. He walked back to the table where we were, he said - I reversed the entire order and I'll take the mattress protector too, since it was also reversed. I said okay great he still said nothing. I asked for a receipt or some kind of proof, but he rudely ignored us and wouldn't give me anything and started working on something else.. I left and went out to my car and my husband and I called synchrony bank credit and they said there was still a $279.00 charge which turned out to be the matresss protector. So the manager tried to steal the protector from us knowing when he walked away he reversed the charges except the protector and then lied right to our face. We went back inside with the proof and told him we knew what he had done and he rudely handed us back the matress protector and didn't say a single word. No apology nothin!! This man should not be the south county store manager, He is very rude and caused this store to loose an entire sale because of his attitude from the start. We will never purchase from Ashley again. I will have a credit card with then I'll never use. We went somewhere else and are looking into buying the bed and base from them and it's cheaper. I feel sorry for people who have to work with him. I would have not canceled my order if he would have just kindly said we can't take back mattress covers and then kindly listened to my questions. Now he ruined it for everyone. I can't deal with a store that isn't trustworthy

Honestly, we didn’t have the best experience at first. The salesman had accidentally written the wrong item number down and it wasn’t caught until the wrong couch showed up in our living room. I ran up to the store to get it straightened out and the manager Jason Mckey helped me. He was very nice and professional. He listened and filed the paperwork that needed to be filed it get it fixed. He was very thorough and did not rush me. He gave me his full attention and it felt like he really cared and wanted to make things right. The salesman also came over, admitted he had made the mistake, and he gave an apology that felt very sincere. Even though it didn’t go perfectly, the way this situation was handled made up for it. We got our correct couch and it’s very nice. Good quality and comfortable. Thank you Jason for fixing a situation that could’ve gone very wrong and doing it in a timely matter. You went above and beyond to make sure we got what we thought we had originally purchased and we are very grateful for that.

My wife and I found a nice sofa, I set up delivery date in the store for 9/1/23, our move in date for our first new place. Sales associate said "we can do that" I also set delivery time through the text, and phone call as it was crucial to have it on this day. Yesterday, 9/1/23 I have recieved no info on delivery and sofa never came. I called and go through automation to find out delivery is estimated in 2 weeks? I set delivery for 9/1/23 3 different ways. Now my wife and I have no furniture and I guess are expected to sit on the floor for 2 weeks. I feel totally ripped off by delivery charge since we didnt recieve our sofa when we needed it. Expensive. I feel like I'm being watched very closely in this store. I do dress like a vagrant at times so there's that to consider. They didn't have what I was looking for either.

Great selection and great sales associates. I visited a few times within the past few weeks trying to pick out a couch. Each time, they greeted me at the door but also gave me space when I told them I needed to look around and think. We worked with Andy through most of the process and he really took care of us and gave us a great deal on the couch he knew I loved. Their furniture is high quality and I know we will be enjoying our new couch for many years to come!

I went here with great intentions but after I put a down payment on my furniture. I was called several days later by another associate whom was helping me & told me that he looked at my paperwork & it was incorrect & they would have to change my finance terms his name was Greg. Now Greg didn't make the sale it was another associate. After being harassed by him several weeks. I received an email & I was made aware, I couldn't get those terms I was buying furniture for my mother whom I brought with me, which takes alot to bring her out. I was told the bedroom furniture was available in a full size for my 88 yr old mother. When I arrived back i was informed that it was not available, I should've ran then. But I was helped by a nicer gentleman & he was present & available & helped me. I don't know what's going on with these two men. But l was sent an email and was told by the interim manager Jason Mckey they couldn't honor the signed contract on 8/5/23. By this time I asked for my down payment Bottom line if they make an error, you have to deal with the consequences They don't take responsibility.

Beware!!!!! Was told furniture would be delivered on 7/12 delivery did not happen and no phone call to explain why . Went in store to get refund was greeted wiith anger and told I needed to call in to a different office to get refund have been calling for 2 days no answer. Will reach out to corporate if I do not get through in the next day or 2 . Wish I had read the reviews prior to going to Ashley furniture. Coincidentally, I spoke with my sister, not knowing she had purchased furniture with them also and she had the exact same issue.!!!!!!

First time buying anything from Ashley Furniture and lets just say it will be my last. Paid for a brand new coffee table and received it damaged. Within 8 minutes of delivery (the time it took me to unpack it) I contacted customer service about receiving an exchange because this one was damaged (their policy is 72 hours within delivery as stated by TWO of their delivery personnel). It is now the end of Tuesday and three customer service representatives and a supervisor later, along with countless texts back and forth and calls - they are doubling down now and saying the best they can do is send a technician out to repair it and if it can't be repaired, then they will exchange it. Mind you they did not reduce the price of the table but sold and took money for a BRAND new table and now want me to keep a DAMAGED table for repair. In what world do you pay for something brand new in which the price reflects it but have to deal with a repaired item. I would not be writing this if I paid for a repaired table and the price reflected it - but I don't believe it is unexpected for me to get what I paid for; which is a brand new table. The sales people are quick to sell and delivery people are quick to drop it off and get it out of their hair. Apparently there is no concrete policy that every employee is aware of. But everyone says what they need to to either make the sale or get it off their hands. I have NEVER experienced such hardship and a worse overall company in my life. Rest assured that I will NEVER buy another item from this company and will advise everyone I know against buy from here as well. Absolutely disgusting.
