The sales experience was good and easy but delivery is a nightmare. They use this awful AI system and it's impossible. I ended up with 5 different delivery dates and finally canceled. And I'm sure that all of the responses to these reviews are AI generated as well!

Our Sales rep was great! Moving fees are horrendous!!!! I was not informed up front about the moving fees because I did not ask. The more you buy the bigger the moving fee! YOU NEED to let the customers know up front about the fees!!!!! The fee chart the sales rep use needs to be posted as a huge sticker on the front door when you walk in and put it through the store for all customers to see! It's the right thing to do! It is a make or break deal for some! Customers need to know UPFRONT what these ridiculous moving fees are BEFORE going in! Again, the sales staff Cindy in the Tesson Ferry store in St Louis was great. Save out middle class, remove the fee or at least make the fee FAIR! Was a 5 star rating until I was hit with the fee!

I was waiting on right away. Everything was explained to me to my liking very well. All of my questions were answer. The store manager made sure that the gentleman who had waited on me before got the credit for my sale. I would recommend Ashley furniture to anybody. Ashley has wonderful furniture and I have bought from there before and everything is holding up very well.

Very helpful, but not pushy.

So originally, I was thinking I should’ve gone to Ashley furniture first. I was purchasing a power lift recliner for my mother, and had invested many hours looking on Amazon, provider plus, medical west, value city furniture, MediEqip, and Lift inc. Ashley furniture had what seemed to be good quality chairs, and reasonable prices. I ended up in the store for a total of two hours while the salesman and the manager bumbled around with printers and phones and computers that were allegedly not functioning properly. I was able to remain pretty patient and understanding during this. But when my sister went to pick up the chair at the warehouse today, and was told we were given the wrong paper work I am beyond frustrated. She had to drive back to the store and waste even more time, once again, trying to get the paperwork, and then back to the warehouse. We have to hire a sitter to be with my mother when we run errands like this, so it would be really amazing if anyone could do their job competently.

Will never buy from again purchased a $900 reclining sofa less than a year ago. It is now peeling cracking. The stitching is coming out. There is a one year warranty from the store and even though it’s within that one year they won’t warrantee anything on the couch. 🤷‍♀️

Review of Ashley HomeStore—I Had to Sue Them to Get My Money Back If you’re thinking about shopping at Ashley HomeStore, do yourself a favor and don’t. What should have been a simple furniture purchase turned into a months-long nightmare. After I paid, Ashley HomeStore failed to deliver on what they promised. I called, emailed, and followed up endlessly — nothing got resolved. To make matters worse, I made three separate trips to the store in person trying to sort this out. Each time, I was met with excuses and zero accountability. This dragged on for so long that I finally filed a small claims case in Jefferson County, Missouri (Case No. 25JE-SC00008). Only after suing them did Ashley HomeStore finally refund me the money I had been owed all along. And because of how poorly they handled everything, the judge awarded me an additional $1,100.00 in damages. Let me be clear — Ashley didn’t resolve this because they value customer service. They did it because they got sued and lost. If you don’t want to waste your time, money, and energy, I’d strongly recommend shopping somewhere else. This company only reacts when a courtroom and a judge force them to.

Ashley doesn’t even deserve 1 Star honestly. We spent way too much on a bed but it’s what we wanted so we went with it. The bed specialist Kevin (No Specialist that’s for sure) will get you to lay on every bed that he can sell that’s the highest price he can. Set you up with overpriced pillows and bed covers. When you get them of course they were wrong. We purchased a storage bed and lift base and mattress. Again at a price way over what we hoped. Long story short. They delivered a week after they said they could, got the wrong lift base. After leaving with base they said it was the right one and would return by 3 to install it. Didn’t show and after several calls I got a hold of delivery. He said “Oh they didn’t call you ? Appears it was the wrong base. So back to automated run around after going to store and discuss with the worthless store manager. They eventually came out with the same base and installed it on slats ( well bottom side and top legs are just hanging there.) Called, went to store many times and purchased it Feb 4th and they won’t come out and even look at the worthless installers work.DO NOT BUY FROM ASHLEY!! Unless you enjoy major run around and no solutions when they screw it up. Sorry couldn’t make long story short. Horrible experience and still dealing with it as of April 10th.

Would not exchange a defective lamp , lamp not broken BUT clearly was a defect in manufacturing . After a few phone calls I gave up . On the other hand my sales guy Jacob was fantastic for sure , no fault to him .

2 stars because everyone is nice. A lot of bait and switch goes on. Went on Sat. Was told all accessories, pictures & bedding 90% off because they want to close for remodel & don't want to pack stuff up. 3 people said that to us. We spent hours in the store picking things out. Time for check out & those people are nowhere around. Now we are dealing with 2 others & a manager who was extremely lazy. Suddenly a lot of what we picked out was not 90% off. When we said that 3 people told us that & even took stuff off the walls for us, all we got was "oh sorry you were told that." Even the manager who didn't get off of his butt, didn't really care. So we wasted 1/2 the day. Fast forward Mon. morning, called the store to see if the sale was still on. "Yes it is until the 21st when we close." Go back there. New people & different Mgr. Now say 50% off even though big signs in the windows clearly read 80 & 90%. Bait & switch mess! Nobody seems to know facts & you never get the same answer twice they just make crap up as they go.

My most recent purchase has been horrible. I purchased a replacement side rail for my son queen size bed. I ordered this piece back in December. I was given so much misinformation on this piece such as it's at the warehouse to it's at the store to now it's still with the manufacture with a estimated shipping date of Mid-March. I have never experienced anything like this with Ashley.

Ashley's had a large inventory of bedroom and living room furniture. Our salesman was Paul Chaffin. Paul pointed us in the right direction of the furniture we were looking for. Once we found the furniture we were looking for, Paul was able to get us the best price possible. Highly recommend seeing Paul when you visit Ashley's Furniture. Their pickup facility had fast and friendly service. Ashley's-- Definitely five Stars!!!!

I have never wrote a review on Google until now. My boyfriend and I worked with the salesperson, Kevin. We have a small basement with tight measurements. We were assured that the backs came off and would fit within our measurements. After waiting a week for delivery day, we got a text we were stop 11 for the day. Our estimated arrival time was between 2-5ish. We sat at home all day and night waiting. However, it just kept getting pushed. They did not come until almost 8:30 that night. This is in no way the delivery guys fault but the stores fault for making their customers wait way past delivery times and that is a lot of work to put on the employees delivering. When they arrived (in the dark) the furniture was not as promised. The backs were stitched on and did not come apart. None of the couch fit through the door forcing the delivery people to take them back. My boyfriend and I were incredibly disappointed and very upset after waiting 6 hours for delivery. I called the store at 8:30 that night and spoke with Jason. I was told there was nothing that could be done that night till he talked to our salesperson. The next morning we got a call from Kevin. He stated he didn’t realize that they didn’t come apart and offered for us to come in and pick out something different. We asked for a refund and decided to go elsewhere where we got much better service. We will never shop at Ashley Furniture again.

I had a gift card and because you don’t allow that on your website I had to go in the store to purchase my recliner and didn’t get the 15% off what I bought, which is $127 and that’s a lot of money. I would have expected that it would be honored but it was not.

We had a wonderful experience shopping for our new sectional. Andrea answered our questions and we didn’t feel pressured to buy at all. I would highly recommend Andrea to friends shopping for new furniture.

Jeffrey was our salesman. He greeted us quickly but wasn't pushy (I'm honestly turned away if a salesman is pushy/too 'salesy'). He gave us all of the information we needed without question and was glad to help. He grabbed us waters and a candy (for my daughter) as well. He was knowledgeable, quick, friendly, and successful! We finally bought our new couch!

I bought some furniture from them and immediately the drawer slides broke, using cheap and inferior part. I was able to fix that myself so no big deal, the part that gets me is I bought a coffee table and 2 end tables and the second end table will not fit in the room. The furniture was never opened but they will not take the return, even if it is in the box still they say absolutely no returns. How does someone do business like this, I will never spend my money there again. Not to mention the said I would have my furniture in one week and it took nearly a month!!! What a joke.

The company delivery personnel absolutely suck, actually rating is no stars. They didn’t set up the sectional and didn’t even plug in the chair, they told my wife that they would continue setting up the furniture but they left with the front door wide open on a 20 degree day and then the real pain started and that was dealing with customer service and the delivery warehouse. I will never ever never buy another product from Ashley

I was told that my item was in stock and then filled out the credit info to do payment interest free. Then after my credit was ran I was told not all pieces were in stock. So now I have a credit hit because the staff is not educated. I do not recommend. You cannot undo a credit hit.

We bought furniture on July 4 th 2 of the 3 pieces are already leaning and the recliner jams up when closing , now Ashley sends you to a third party for the returns, the third party tells us Ashley never sent my info. It’s really a joke we spent good $ and we bought local. But the furniture is poorly built and I’ve been trying to get someone to replace them for over a month.

We were impressed when we first arrived. Someone greeted us right away and answered all of our questions. In less than an hour, we bought a chair. Since we left the store, however, we've had nothing but problems. We were given a date for the delivery two weeks after we purchased it, but our order has been changed three additional times since then, and counting. We were informed that we can no longer work with this store because we have to go through the warehouse. After weeks of automated calls, sometimes daily, I called Ashley Furniture again and asked to speak to a live person. I was given a different number to call, and that's when I learned that deliveries can take 2-16 weeks! Apparently this information is on the form we signed, but no one at Ashley explained this to us. The new delivery date is one month after we purchased the chair--assuming it actually arrives. If we knew it would take this long--or possibly longer--we would have gone elsewhere.

Being a Veteran there should be Free delivery on all our purchases no matter how much we spend.

Salesman Paul was great but the rest was horrible. First, sent Black Friday coupon that was worth nothing. If you tried to buy something at sale price, not allowed 0% financing. If you wanted the “0% financing” then an additional 2% added to original price. So you are now paying even more for “0%financing”. What a scam. This use to be a good, honest company. Appears to be a greeedy, money hungry company now. So sorry Paul lost out on his commission, but I will not do business with a company charging for 0%financing

Was told we would get delivery 11/25. Received a message from Jason the general store manager that someone entered the ticket incorrectly and delivery would be several days later. When we tried to call back it’s impossible to speak to the person you need to. We were routed to the distribution center who told us that delivery was indeed scheduled for Monday 11/25. We have received a text to confirm delivery. Called the store manager to confirm since he was the one who called stating delivery had been pushed off. He then says it is a pick up not a delivery. The general manager is very rude and as a manager has no regard for customer service. Our salesman was great. The managers could care less if they get your business They make no apologies for error or try to make it right. It’s like ATT no one knows what they’re talking about and everyone has a different story. Customer service is dead. Our experience definitely does not have us wanting to go back.

The purchase went fine. Your text system for delivery isn't working well and I never gave permission to bombard me with promo emails. Tried to unsubscribe from email but it just takes me to more shopping options which I believe isn't in compliance with regulations. Edit. 0 stars. If you have any issues, nothing is handled by the stores. I would highly highly recommend going to a different furniture store

Had an excellent salesman & large selection

We bought a couch last week and paid for delivery. It was scheduled for delivery on the 12th however when we got home we got a text saying great news we can deliver your couch sooner text 2 for the 7 so I did. They text back great we will see you then. So I got rid of the old couch and took the day off to wait. Just to find out they never rescheduled my delivery and now I have to wait a week with no furniture and a day unpaid. They said even though it's my fault there's nothing they can do!

I had a really great experience with Lawanda at Ashley in south county. I needed a new mattress for my daughter and she looked up what my son has that we bought last year. We got the same one that we got for my son and the service was so easy and Lawanda was extremely nice. I will definitely ask for Lawanda when we go back for our living room furniture.

The sales person I dealt with was Paul Chaffin. He was extremely patient; I had been in the store twice as I was undecided on which bedroom set I wanted. He priced out two complete five piece sets for me - he was very accommodating. He was knowledgeable in assisting me with mattress and foundation choice as well. My furniture is scheduled to be delivered in a few weeks per my request. I am happy with the aesthetic of the set and am hopeful I will be happy with the sturdiness of the set I selected. There are a wide variety of styles and price points at the Ashley South County Store which is helpful in making a choice.

Furniture was a good price and employees were very nice and efficient at the store. However the delivery experience was Bad! A handle was broken off my Furniture and I was told by the delivery guy I would receive a new one in the mail, that's how they do it. Never got a new handle. Called manager and got the run around as he said they don't handle that and I will have to call customer service. Not professional!

10/15/24 Update: Still having issues. The last pieces of my bedroom set were brought, yet again damaged, and I had to send back. They also nicked the dresser I already had in my room and the door frame. Along with leaving a mess throughout my house, driveway and yard. Horrible service. Plus no one from the store or higher up has called me about my issues and I've talked to multiple people who "assured" me someone would. I have emails and text even saying someonen will call. They all lie and no one actually cares. Once they've made the sale and got their money, they are done being helpful. Original post: If I could give a -5 rating I would. I placed an order in the store around the end of August. The salesman, Chris, was amazing and I ended up spending over $9,000 to furnish my house. But from the moment the first part of my order was delivered it has been nothing but a nightmare. In the first order the one night stand was damaged so I sent it back and asked for a replacement. I waited a week or so and when the replacement came it was the same exact piece I sent back the first time! I was blown away that they'd try to pull one over me. Then I called and scheduled for a replacement, again, to be sent. We set it up to be delivered on the same day as my bed frame set. Which took a month to get delivered. But when they showed up with my delivery all they had was a night stand, no bed. To top it off the night stand was in worse condition then the original one. Multiple spots were nicked, scratched, and on top of that it wasn't even leveled. It rocked when you touched it. How did no one notice? So I had to send it back again. The delivery guy told me he put in a request for a supervisor to call me in no more than 5 minutes. It's been over an hour and no one called. That's now 3 night stands that have came damaged and I had to send back. So it's been over a month and I don't have the night stand or my bed. When I call customer service they said the bed wasn't delivered because it didn't arrive in time to make it on the truck and that someone should have called to reschedule the delivery and apologized for them not calling. But she stated they have it ready for delivery but I have to wait 5 more days for an opening. If they have it now, someone should have put it on the truck today or brought it out once they realized THEY messed up! Since it was supposed to come with the night stand. Plus I don't have time to keep taking off to be home because when you schedule the delivery you won't get an estimated delivery time until 24hrs prior. So I have to take off the whole day so I can be available! I have spent so much time and energy on trying to get what I ordered and it's been a nightmare and horrible customer service. My mom was with me when I ordered everything and she even wrote a review for Chris because he was great. Because of him she was planning to go back and buy multiple pieces to refurnish her house but now she is not going to order anything. Their customer service and delivery process is horrible. I should have read the reviews and looked on BBB before going there because I see this is common for them. Lesson learned on my end.

Just called and spoke with a guy to see if they had a certain couch in store so I could get my order sooner. He seemed annoyed that that’s what I wanted and said he’d transfer me to someone who could help. Of course I was transferred back to the same automated system I had the first time with zero answers to my question.

The salesman was very helpful and took time to help us with we needed and explained everything on what the cost would be we are very happy.

Too many out of stock itens

Andy was amazing to work with. We came in to get bedroom furniture and that’s what we got. He was easy to talk to and helped us get the set we wanted. He helped us get the right mattress and foundation to fit our needs. It took us a bit to find what we wanted but he was very patient with us through the whole process. Thank you so much.

My fiancé and I tried to visit this store. As soon as we walked in we were bombarded with sales people. Understandably so, we heard them out and were reassured we wouldn’t be bugged anymore. Only to be followed around the store and spoken to twice more by the same person. This time we made it even obvious we aren’t interested in their credit card or other products. Trying to ignore this, we continued looking & tested out a STOOL. Only to be interrupted by more sales people who are trying to sell us on a new mattress. Which we didn’t even come for. The fact that you cannot walk around peacefully is by far the worst part. The salespersons made this the worst experience. We walked out of that store with intentions of spending money.

Our sales person was Lawanda! She was incredibly helpful, showed us exactly what we were looking for, and didn't veer off the path! Did I mention how sweet she was and has a great sense of humor! One of the BEST sales floor rep I've ever encountered! We love our new furniture! Thanks, Lawanda, and kudos to you for a job well done!

Due to his efforts to help us with so many questions we had, we both will be purchasing a lot from Ashley. I would highly recommend Chris. He put forth a huge effort to help us both. Great experience I was not approached by a salesperson until I had questions about their sale. I ask an associate who was very helpful and actually found me exactly what I was looking for. This particular sofa was on sale and I had not seen it on my walk through. I bought it and it will be delivered on the date I requested. I can’t write about using it/or quality since I don’t have it yet. The salesperson was outstanding and it was a simple process for purchasing.

Can’t get anyone on the phone (not totally uncommon these days but still frustrating) Spent 35+ minutes shopping around in store and couldn’t get attention from any of the 5 workers we saw. Not a “welcome in” “can we help you?” Absolutely nothing. Found the couch we wanted and were ready to purchase. Ended up leaving, checking out Slumberland (they didn’t have the couch for us but A++ customer service.) Ordered from Ashley online and saved 900+ dollars verses in store. *adding now that we’ve received my order to compliment the three guys who deliver and got my sectional unloaded quickly. They were so friendly and helpful.

Wanted to buy a bed but the salesman hovered over me and didn't give me a chance to figure out what I even liked.. So I went somewhere else

Von was a wonderful sales associate! Knowledge, thorough and personable! Answered all of our questions and gave us the best deal possible. Her managers, however, seemed a little inpatient with some of her questions. If I go back to this location, I will only deal with Von.

worst customer service I've ever experienced. they put the wrong bed rails in our order and it's taken nearly 3 weeks to even schedule the right rails for delivery, now delivery is gonna be another 10 days out. this whole time I've had to sleep on the floor and get nothing but a "sorry for the inconvenience" from every one I talk to

Prices are crazy but the service is really good.

Bought our daughter an expensive bedroom set for her graduation gift. Almost a month later, the slats for her bed have still not arrived. No one will even deal with this. I have always recommended this store, but never again.

I purchased a couch a year and a half ago and also purchased the extended warranty. My couch is literally falling apart. All the seams have come undone and all the stuffing from the in the pillows is falling down. I spent $400 on an extended warranty and Ashley And the warranty company said there’s nothing they can do. I called her. They hang up on me. I was on the phone for over four hours from switch from department department. Don’t buy furniture for them. There are nothing but scammers rip offs.

Andy showed me several beautiful and comfortable sofas and told me to take my time checking them out. No pressure!! I really liked that. I found what I was looking for and Andy and I were satisfied. NEVER BUY FROM ASHLEY!!!! We made a large purchase almost 3 years ago of over $10,000 worth of furniture. We spent all that time exchanging damaged merchandise and asked for returns several times! They insisted the only way to go was by exchange due to it being delivered. We accepted those terms and spent years trying to get furniture that was in like new condition. It consistently arrived with significant damage including a nail sticking out the bottom of a dresser that scratched my hard wood floor. The exchanges took so long that we moved multiple times and had a baby. While my wife was days away from giving delivery, she called and informed them that we were having a baby and moving. They told us since it was past the normal 14 days, we would have to call back to reschedule when we were done moving. We called a month later and was told our exchange was cancelled and that there was nothing we could do. They told us we were stuck with the damaged merchandise. We asked to speak to a supervisor and were told someone would call us. They never did. We called back a week later and were told the same thing. No call. We called a 3rd time and finally got a call back. The gentleman could barely speak English and when we told him our story, he hung up on us. This is the worst customer service I’ve ever seen in my life. I WOULD RATHER PAY DOUBLE SOMEWHERE ELSE THAN TO EVER SHOP HERE AGAIN. Never buy from Ashley!!!!!

My partner and I were looking for our sofa/sectional couches for our new home. We were greeted by the staff. Andy Williams was an excellent agent/ staff working with us while looking for options. Neighbor rec'd furniture legs seperate. Went to put legs in no holes in bottom where legs go! Has called and total run around. They offered him a 50 gift certificate!!! Still waiting to hear from them about repair or?? Beware if buying from Ashley

Our salesman Andy from the South county store was fantastic. The store manager Scott was absolutely terrible. Treated us like we were dirt in the ground and definitely doesn't know how to speak to customers respectfully. He shouldn't be the manager at all. We were told we could pick up our furniture after we initially scheduled delivery which we tried to do to save $400 and they let us know we could go to the distribution center to pick it up and then Scott tells us we can't. So rude and ignorant. Then our delivery was scheduled between 3p - 6p and our furniture didn't arrive until 7pm which was dinner time. That's completely uncalled for. I had to take a whole day off waiting for this furniture. I'm extremely unhappy and I won't be coming back for future purchases.

Salesman was very dry. Didn't explain we had to put down 10 percent of the 60 month free financing until we were ready to leave and papers signed. Shady!

Trash trash trash! Customer service is nonexistent! They flat out lie and don’t disclose information or change the story on “their policy “. The delivery drivers are shady and refuse to take away agreed to old mattress because it had a small soda stain said they couldn’t put it on the truck with new furniture. (I was never told the old mattress must be pristine)(the mattress was wrapped in plastic and taped up as they instructed me to do at the time of my purchase and this was all I was told to do ) then tried to make money off me by saying “they could take it to the dump for $30.” Jason the store manager is rude and argumentative. In the last year I’ve spent $10 thousand dollars at this store and this was the third time I’ve bought a mattress from I’m here! never again! Trash

We've been back twice and dealt with Anthony each time. He's knowledgeable and friendly. We're set furniture wise. The prices are great and dealing with someone like Anthony, who put our needs first, is fantastic.

Cindy was amazing and helped me find the perfect recliner. Edit...the recliner was substandard workmanship. Upholstery staples were not flush with the side board and when my 11 yr old grandson reached between the cushion and side of the seat to retrieve the remote it shredded the back of his hand. This was less than 24 hrs after the chair was delivered. Delivery guy had said I had 72 hrs to report issue. Went to where I bought the chair and was informed 1. they did not do customer service at stores or at Ashley period they out source it to a non Ashley company 2. I was informed the drive who said 72 hrs was wrong and instead the moment I signed for delivery Ashleys responsibility for the defective chair or any furniture was non refundable PERIOD wth apparently it was in the very small print of the computer form I signed. At NO time did anyone tell me this at Ashley or I would have bought it somewhere else. Scammers...dishonest...should be under a lemon law offense...like a slimy used car salesman

Andy helped us with the purchase of a new couch, ottoman, rug, and table. He was super friendly and helpful throughout the process and I definitely would recommend working with him if you get the chance! His manager, Jason was also very helpful and was able to give us some nice discounts that really helped out with the price a lot. Really a fantastic experience overall!!

I have shopped and purchased at this location several times. One purchase 5 years ago I spent over $7,000 and purchased the warranty($649) and was told if I didn’t use the warranty in those 5 years then I would be able to use the value of the warranty to make a purchase in the store. The value is good for 180 days after the warranty expires. I have been in the store several times since the warranty value became available to look for something to buy and was told by several different associates who I had shown my warranty card to that I could use it to purchase ANYTHING in the store. I came to the store to finally make a purchase and when the associate greeted me I showed her my certificate and once again asked if I could use it on ANYTHING in the store and she said YES. I picked out several decor items and a filing cabinet. It took 40 minutes of her and the manager ringing up my items; apparently decor items are not in their system and the manager had to manually enter them so the associate could ring them up. Makes me wonder how they can possibly do inventory if so many items aren’t even in the system… She said she wanted to scream every time she had to call him over so he could take an item over to his computer to add it to the system. When she was done she picked up my warranty certificate which had been by her computer the whole time and the manager said oh that can’t be used for any of this. He said everything I picked out was clearance; nothing had a red tag or a price marked out or came from a special section indicating that it was clearance. He said clearance items couldn’t be used and I said I didn’t know these items were clearance, and that I had been told I could use it on anything in the store. He said whatever I wanted would have to be put on layaway before I could purchase it with my certificate. I was quite upset after having spent over 2 hours in the store already and asked where it said this and he said it was policy. He read through my certificate and no where on it does it indicate that decor can’t be purchased or anything about layaway. He could not show me anywhere that these “policies” were in writing. I explained that several employees told me I could use it on ANYTHING in the store and he said, no my employees know the rules. Apparently not because the associate who was helping me didn’t tell me these “policies.” He said he guessed he could try calling his regional manager and walked away and I walked out of that store. An exception shouldn’t have to be made for me to use my certificate. The “policies” should be clearly written out for employees and customers to understand.

We just purchased a new mattress. Our sales associate was Andrea Ammonette. Not only was she extremely informed about mattresses, she had an amazing personality. It was a pleasure shopping with her. She made our decision easy & pain free.

Bought two recliners. Delivery was on time but one of the recliners is defective. Customer service in this area is a joke. We had to send pictures in an email and they would see if they could get a service technician to come out in a week or ten days. Absolutely unacceptable! They should bring us a new chair and take back the defective one. Unbelievable! For a national company this is the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

The only reason why I'm giving three stars is because the manager that work that night that greeted us as we came in and the older lady with the purple leather jacket that greeted us as we left, checked on us to see if we needed any help. That's the only reason why the three stars are there. Those 2 actually deserve five stars. But the bald head guy with the beard I understand it was the end of the night, but it's still your job until you close (which was in 45 minutes) to help us. He seem as if we were bothering him because we were looking for someone to help us. So we ended up just walking out. The older lady, she did a very wonderful job of asking if we needed any type of assistance. She's the sweetest little lady that you can ever run across. A true gem if you ask me and the manager that night I forget his name, but he was very informative and helpful and at the time when we were looking at something we were interested in, he was busy which was understandable the bald head guy was not. He was very agitated because we called for him to come over and see if he could help or get somebody to help us. He did get on his mic and told somebody to help us but his attitude sucked camel *ss. So whether it was closing towards the end of the night it doesn't matter you still have to do your job and treat customers with respect.

The warranty policy was sold to me as if the Ashley Store would work with me to replace any damaged items. This is untrue; they use a third party company ProtectAll who finds any cause to not approve a claim filed. Learn from my mistake and DONT BUY THE WARRANTY

The associate we spoke with on the phone was very professional, knowledgeable and helpful. We were very pleased in our interactions with her.

The showroom is very nice. No one bombarded us when we walked in, which was nice to settle in and look around a bit solo. Sales person was kind - they pushed the protection plan repeatedly even after we declined but overall, pleasant, easy and quick experience!

He stood me up for to days had me thinking he was on my side helping me I had to tell him I will contact police I tried calling all the bogus numbers they gave me but they kept sending me back to the rip off store , Thank god Lisa from corporate called me before It got ugly , she said they ordered it and it will be here in a month , still inconvenient tho I’m just glad they understand and care about the customer, it’s sad I had to get it ok from someone who’s all the way up smh . I hope no other customer have to go through what I went through we are American citizens living at hard time, why would our own stores go with ripping somebody off putting us through so much trauma!!! This manager is very rude and should not be doing customer service a Jason McKee. He refused to return two unopened pillows and then got into a verbal arguement with me. I attempted to cancel the rest of my 3000 dollar order which he also refused to do. I will never do business with this store again. Ashley corporate needs to fire this man as i have seen other complaints on him as well. I wish i would have tapped this conversation to bring to an attorney and sue this place.

Update (4 months later): Tim is still awesome but Ashley’s products are not!!!! Barely 4 months old and our $2600 couch is breaking down. Didn’t get the warranty because it only covers accidents and not structural issues. Buy your stuff off Amazon, it’ll last just as long but a fraction of the price. 5 starts: Tim was awesome!!! Very helpful without being over bearing. 10/10!

If i could give negative stars i would ! We bought two beds LAST CHRISTMAS! They didn't have the proper rails for one of the beds but put it together anyway and said we'd have the correct rail in a week or two.... It's been over a year now that we've ordered the bed ... Guess what NO RAIL ! and the bottom drawer is not accessible because of this as well.... We've called, texted, emailed, went in store .... We continue to pay them but, they REFUSE TO BE ACCOUNTABLE AND FIX THE BED THAT WE PAID OVER $2000 FOR ! I'M IRATE TO SAY THE LEAST

I was not given white glove delivery as indicated on my invoice. Delivery workers were courteous but said they do not put things together when I asked them if they install the shelves on my shelving unit. Also, the legs were not installed on my server piece. So.. if those things are important to you.. make sure they do them.

I purchased an entire bedroom set. The footboard had flaws in it. I told the delivery person before he left. He told me to call Ashley. I did and a service order was put in. After a few weeks the “repair” company came. The tech couldn’t fix the flaws. He said he would note that in the ticket that it can’t be fixed as he can’t sand out and repaint. Instead the tech just closed the ticket as if he had repaired it. Now Ashley is saying they have to send the same company out again to do the same thing. Because until that company, SAW Furniture repair states it can’t be fixed Ashley won’t do anything. SAW Furniture has a D rating with the BBB and numerous complaints. I was still planning on getting some additional new furniture but at this point it won’t be from Ashley.

The customer service is terrible the manager Jason hung up on me. I will never visit another Ashley store.

Terrible experience with brand new loveseat that needed servicing. Tech had no idea what he was doing and was watching YouTube videos trying to fix it. Took him 3.5 hours and the loveseat is now in pieces all over my mom’s floor. They can’t come fix it now for another month and my step dad just fell off of the loveseat and hit his head due to the mess that was made. I’ve tried calling the service department 10 times and they tell me a manager will call me back and they never do. My next step is hiring an attorney which I’ve never done my entire life. Zero stars for this company.

I have bought several things from them over the last two years. The delivery time is never when promised. They keep pushing it further and further back. When you call to check on the status they said they can’t even find my order with my phone number or with the sales order number on the receipt so I gave them 7,000$ and they can’t find the order? You have no clue when you are getting it. Stay away from Ashley on Lemay ferry in St. Louis Missouri. Review edited. I was able to get a hold of a manager named Anthony. He said your order will be there on time I don’t know why they kept calling you and changing the delivery date we have everything for your order ready to go we will see if it comes in time like he stated.

LIARS, waited over 3 weeks for delivery, it's not happening anytime soon, all we get is excuses for spending 2k cash on a living room outfit, now they claim they did not give a delivery date and may take another 6 weeks, ether the sales person lied or we are liars and it's not us, even got a bot texting us lies 2 days ago stating it was being prepared, we have city clean up 2 days and wanted to get our old set out for it, now will be stuck with it till next April

Do not buy any furniture that needs assembly from Ashley's. We bought a bedroom set in June and have had nothing but problems with the Ashley's team ever since. We are STILL waiting for pieces to be fixed and the whole situation has been a nightmare. Once the set was delivered and setup we found that one drawer did not open, the bed frame itself was not setup correctly so it is slanted, and the dresser door and drawer was bent during install. We reported these things to Ashley's. A month later they sent someone to take a look. He then had to put in a work order and order a new drawer slide. The parts arrived another month later and it took multiple calls and emails to the store before being assigned someone to actually come and fix it. The soonest someone could be assigned to our work order was October and something tells me not all pieces will be fixed at that time. Incredibly disappointed with Ashley's and would never buy another thing that needed assembly from them. After paying for the "white glove" service we've found it's not worth the hassle.

The driver and the other young man, helping him both did a great job bringing in the furniture and getting it set up with no problem. They seemed professional and courteous as well.

Von was amazing!! She helped me pick out the perfect set. She explained the benefit of several bedroom sets that I looked at. She was patient as I thought about my options and how I wanted to proceed. Never pushy and always helpful. Everyone should go and ask for her!!

So let me 1st say my sales lady was so sweet and we had no issues with her. We purchased because they assured us we could purchase and think about it and as long as we canceled the order before delivery all fees would be reversed. We were concerned about the base and I tried calling but didn't feel it was clear that we they wrote up the correct base. We wanted to ensure before it was delivered. When I called the store they would not look over my receipt, they would only tell me that it had all the features I wanted by what i told them when online is said differentplus the price was off. How would they know if they are not looking at my actual receipt and checking item numbers.. next I found the mattress protector at a cheaper price so I decided to take that one back since nothing had been delivered yet and mattress protector had no reason to be opened or used since we didn't even have the mattress yet. When I walked in to ashley to inquire in person about our base and return the maytress protector they pointed me to the store manager, who could assist me. I told him I had questions and wanted to return my matress cover still secured and unopened in the bag just as it was when we walked out of the store. He instantly became so hasty with me and said we don't do returns on matress covers. We cant help you. hmm but I haven't even opened this as u can see and I don't have the matress or base yet and speaking if i have some questions, but before I could even ask about my base, he said- well I don't know what to tell you, we don't take returns on matress protectors. I felt so upset that he had such a hateful stern grouchy attitude with no eye contact and he wasn't hearing me and ignoring me, so I handed him the full receipt and told him to cancel the entire order. At this point I choose to shop elsewhere. His mouth dropped. He now wants to talk and is interested in why??? He ask me why I wanted to cancel an almost 7,000 dollar order. I explained at this point his attitude was the reason. I did try to explain how we were wanting to check on the ergo smart base we were purchasing to make sure ours had massage and Bluetooth. He ignored and walked away as i spoke to another sales lady whom was kind and understood what i was saying. I asked her why he walked away and She told me he was calling synchrony bank. He was so rude and gave no response. He walked back to the table where we were, he said - I reversed the entire order and I'll take the mattress protector too, since it was also reversed. I said okay great he still said nothing. I asked for a receipt or some kind of proof, but he rudely ignored us and wouldn't give me anything and started working on something else.. I left and went out to my car and my husband and I called synchrony bank credit and they said there was still a $279.00 charge which turned out to be the matresss protector. So the manager tried to steal the protector from us knowing when he walked away he reversed the charges except the protector and then lied right to our face. We went back inside with the proof and told him we knew what he had done and he rudely handed us back the matress protector and didn't say a single word. No apology nothin!! This man should not be the south county store manager, He is very rude and caused this store to loose an entire sale because of his attitude from the start. We will never purchase from Ashley again. I will have a credit card with then I'll never use. We went somewhere else and are looking into buying the bed and base from them and it's cheaper. I feel sorry for people who have to work with him. I would have not canceled my order if he would have just kindly said we can't take back mattress covers and then kindly listened to my questions. Now he ruined it for everyone. I can't deal with a store that isn't trustworthy

Honestly, we didn’t have the best experience at first. The salesman had accidentally written the wrong item number down and it wasn’t caught until the wrong couch showed up in our living room. I ran up to the store to get it straightened out and the manager Jason Mckey helped me. He was very nice and professional. He listened and filed the paperwork that needed to be filed it get it fixed. He was very thorough and did not rush me. He gave me his full attention and it felt like he really cared and wanted to make things right. The salesman also came over, admitted he had made the mistake, and he gave an apology that felt very sincere. Even though it didn’t go perfectly, the way this situation was handled made up for it. We got our correct couch and it’s very nice. Good quality and comfortable. Thank you Jason for fixing a situation that could’ve gone very wrong and doing it in a timely matter. You went above and beyond to make sure we got what we thought we had originally purchased and we are very grateful for that.

Outstanding Customer Service, Makayla was Awesome. I have a Ashley furniture by my home but drove 30 mile to that location because of her Profesional manner.

My wife and I found a nice sofa, I set up delivery date in the store for 9/1/23, our move in date for our first new place. Sales associate said "we can do that" I also set delivery time through the text, and phone call as it was crucial to have it on this day. Yesterday, 9/1/23 I have recieved no info on delivery and sofa never came. I called and go through automation to find out delivery is estimated in 2 weeks? I set delivery for 9/1/23 3 different ways. Now my wife and I have no furniture and I guess are expected to sit on the floor for 2 weeks. I feel totally ripped off by delivery charge since we didnt recieve our sofa when we needed it. Expensive. I feel like I'm being watched very closely in this store. I do dress like a vagrant at times so there's that to consider. They didn't have what I was looking for either.

Salesman was great

Great selection and great sales associates. I visited a few times within the past few weeks trying to pick out a couch. Each time, they greeted me at the door but also gave me space when I told them I needed to look around and think. We worked with Andy through most of the process and he really took care of us and gave us a great deal on the couch he knew I loved. Their furniture is high quality and I know we will be enjoying our new couch for many years to come!

I went here with great intentions but after I put a down payment on my furniture. I was called several days later by another associate whom was helping me & told me that he looked at my paperwork & it was incorrect & they would have to change my finance terms his name was Greg. Now Greg didn't make the sale it was another associate. After being harassed by him several weeks. I received an email & I was made aware, I couldn't get those terms I was buying furniture for my mother whom I brought with me, which takes alot to bring her out. I was told the bedroom furniture was available in a full size for my 88 yr old mother. When I arrived back i was informed that it was not available, I should've ran then. But I was helped by a nicer gentleman & he was present & available & helped me. I don't know what's going on with these two men. But l was sent an email and was told by the interim manager Jason Mckey they couldn't honor the signed contract on 8/5/23. By this time I asked for my down payment Bottom line if they make an error, you have to deal with the consequences They don't take responsibility.

Beware!!!!! Was told furniture would be delivered on 7/12 delivery did not happen and no phone call to explain why . Went in store to get refund was greeted wiith anger and told I needed to call in to a different office to get refund have been calling for 2 days no answer. Will reach out to corporate if I do not get through in the next day or 2 . Wish I had read the reviews prior to going to Ashley furniture. Coincidentally, I spoke with my sister, not knowing she had purchased furniture with them also and she had the exact same issue.!!!!!!

First time buying anything from Ashley Furniture and lets just say it will be my last. Paid for a brand new coffee table and received it damaged. Within 8 minutes of delivery (the time it took me to unpack it) I contacted customer service about receiving an exchange because this one was damaged (their policy is 72 hours within delivery as stated by TWO of their delivery personnel). It is now the end of Tuesday and three customer service representatives and a supervisor later, along with countless texts back and forth and calls - they are doubling down now and saying the best they can do is send a technician out to repair it and if it can't be repaired, then they will exchange it. Mind you they did not reduce the price of the table but sold and took money for a BRAND new table and now want me to keep a DAMAGED table for repair. In what world do you pay for something brand new in which the price reflects it but have to deal with a repaired item. I would not be writing this if I paid for a repaired table and the price reflected it - but I don't believe it is unexpected for me to get what I paid for; which is a brand new table. The sales people are quick to sell and delivery people are quick to drop it off and get it out of their hair. Apparently there is no concrete policy that every employee is aware of. But everyone says what they need to to either make the sale or get it off their hands. I have NEVER experienced such hardship and a worse overall company in my life. Rest assured that I will NEVER buy another item from this company and will advise everyone I know against buy from here as well. Absolutely disgusting.

I am giving a 1 because unfortunatly I usually really like their stuff. Evertime I place an order it is delayed . I needed this Item for july 4th weekend. My scheduled date for my item was 7/1/2023. It is now 7/10/23 and they are saying two weeks . Unacceptible!!!!! I upgraded to a 2 star because I recieved my ottoman and I love it! The process is still messed up I was grounded the whole day for the delivery. They send you the delivery date and time before thay even have the item THAT IS A PROBLEM. AND SEEMS TO ME AN EASY FIX. QUIT DOING THAT!

Customer service is nonexistent with Ashley. They sold us a kitchen table and a 5-year extended warranty through GBS, telling us that no matter what may happen to it in the 5 years, we would be covered. No one provided warranty paperwork or specific details. We were just told that any damage would be covered. We’ve had the table one and a half years and the finish is coming off. This table is rarely used and should not be doing that. The warranty company refuses to cover the claim because we did not call within 30 days of noticing the issue. The thing is, NO ONE told us about this 30 day window until today! GBS will not work with us to reach resolution on this and Ashley won’t work with us either. Ashley says it’s out of warranty and that we need to contact GBS. We are getting the runaround and no one has stepped up to assist us with this. We spent $239.99 for a 5yr plan that isn’t helping us. We have a damaged table and GBS, who should cover the repair, offered to provide a list of local service technicians we can pay out of pocket to repair the table. This is unacceptable!

Our sales person, Cindy was awesome. We went there and told her what kind of table we were looking for and she took us right to the perfect table. She also explained the different kind of stools and we purchased 3 based on her recommendation. After that purchase we decided we wanted this chair and she took care of that for us too. Manager welcomed us to there store. Cindy was professional and very helpful. I will definitely shop there again when I need new furniture.

Scott made our buying experience enjoyable, and it was flawless. We never felt pressured to buy anything. But he listened to our request and took us to the perfect sofa. Very satisfied. Update: Worst buying experience we ever had. The loveseat we got didn’t work like the store model. When we started to recline, the back went down, but the footrest barely went up. They tried to fix it twice and gave up. Didn’t work. Gave us a new one. It did the same thing. They said it’s just the way it’s made. So we went to another Ashley’s and the sofa they had there worked like it should, but not the loveseat, just like ours. I had to take videos of both pieces to make our point. FINALLY we were allowed to buy something else, which is barely better than the previous one. This took approximately six months. Be very careful at Ashley’s.

Andrea was super helpful and friendly. She pointed me in the right direction and let me browse without interruption and then helped answer all my questions. Highly recommend this location and Andrea.

I do not recommend anyone to shop from here because they do not keep their promise. They said we can return or do exchange the sofas and loveseat within a 24 hours notice without problem when they were trying to sell the seat. After that promise we bought 2 sofas and a loveseat but when we put the two sofas in our living room we didn’t like one of the sofas and decided to exchange with same brand sectional. We called them within 24 hours but they said that they will not accept any type of return or exchange. So we went to store and they said same thing. We won’t give up until they keep their promise and find a solution for this problem. So be aware when they said something don’t believe their words and make sure you write that down on the agreement.

We were shopping for a new mattress. Ashley had a great selection. Our sales rep couldn't have been better. Daniel Scanlon was knowledgeable, answered all of our questions, and most importantly to us, did NOT apply any heavy pressure. We made a purchase that day. Would go back to Ashley Furniture for future purchases. Ask for Daniel!

Rob was great. Gave us space to look for what we needed but was there when we needed him. Greeted us as soon as we walked in. Wasn’t pushy.

Very bad customer service and bad management they don’t know what they are doing. I bought 2 sofas and 1 loveseat. They told me that if you refused anyone one of them or if they don’t fit you can call us within 24 hours and we will exchange or accept return without any problem. After I got my items I decided to return one of the sofas and buy a sectional within 11 hours. But when I call them they refused to do it. I do not recommend to anyone to purchase anything from this store.

Horrible after-sale service. I have been trying for months to get some parts fixed under warranty, and so far, it's not fixed. Also have been trying for months to cancel the additional GBS protection plan since I found out how horrible the after-sale service is when my furniture is still under warranty. The furniture is not fixed, and the protection plan is not canceled or refunded. I don't recommend this place.

We have been buying from Ashley for years!!! We went to buy a sectional and their advertisement for the alleged sale is complete nonsense. Wednesday we were their and were told 25% discount this weekend. We return today and the sectional was only 25% discount if you financed for 12 months. All other financing would require a 10%, 20% or 30% down payment. And no discount full price. It’s not about the down payment it’s about not being clear of what the offer and or the sale entails. The sectional showed one price and it wasn’t that price we were sitting on that had extra pieces. So it was more money. So the sectional which was $3499 turned into over $4400 This is not the Ashley we have known for years. Rest assured we will never go their again. So people read and understand what you are buying, do not get taken.

I wasn’t greeted when I walked into store. Which isn’t a huge deal to me, however when I was finished looking around the store and needed assistance all the salesman were just huddled around in a circle talking and not paying attention to any of the customers. I spoke with one of the salesman regarding a couch and I was hesitant because of price and unsure if it would fit in space with the amount of pieces I wanted (modular sofa). He was quite pushy on getting me to purchase that day and kept insisting that “I didn’t need that many pieces for couch.” I was in between getting 4 or 5. Didn’t like that he was trying to tell me what to do with that.

Great experience at SoCo Ashley. Friendly and helpful staff. Not pushy like some furniture stores. We Will definitely shop at this location again.

Will NEVER buy from Ashley furniture again!!!! My husband and I bought 2 sofas from there a year and a half ago. The base is a trampoline style. This holds the cushions in place. We were talked into buying a $600 extended warranty to cover ANY damage that would happen. This fabric that holds the cushions up ripped on both sofas … after only having it for a year and a half. Ashley will NOT cover it and told us there is nothing they can do. So now we have spent thousands of dollars on 2 sofas we can not even use!! It’s disgusting! I have heard they used out sourced vendors during the pandemic so they could have supplies. Except what they got was TRASH!!! This is unacceptable!!! I will make sure everyone I know knows not to go to Ashley!! The mistreatment we have received since that purchase. There is more we bought and were told other promises that also did not happen. So for anyone that will listen DO NOT go there!!!!! Buyer Beware!!!!!!

My boyfriend and I were looking for some new furniture for our new house. We found that Ashley had so many options, different prices, great deals, and a great staff. We entered thinking we would be lucky to buy a couch that day and left after buying a new couch and a new dining dining set. So happy and excited!!

We orderd a floor lampfrom this store and asked the sales person if we could return if we were not happy with it, she yes as long as we kept the rewciept. Not so!! Ashley refuses to accept our return. Due to a company no return policy. We were not informed of this, We are very upset with Ashley. I spent 3 hrs making phone calls to get this resolved and it did not happen. Shame on Ashley!

Ashley furniture should have been our first choice but Weekends is going out of business so we thought it would be a great option. We were wrong. Went to Ashley after weekends and Danial greeted us, gave us our discount paper with his name and walked away (did not hover!!). We found our 3 piece living room furniture cheaper than a couch at weekends, also came with 5 year protection plan and if not used we get a $500 store credit. It’s a no brainer to go to Ashley and please ask for Danial, he’s a great person!!

Chair is to big for my body type. Wanting to return it but was unable. I had a few people tell me they never would buy anything from there. So disappointed. I wouldn't even give it a star.

We ordered a twin bunk bed from here and has been a complete nightmare. They ordered and shipped queen mattresses with a twin bunk bed. The manager by the name of Lori had me come down to the store to set-up the exchange for the twin mattresses. When i got there she tells me she was unable to process the payment through my lender due to no available funds. The mattresses they ordered wrong was holding up my credit. Said the only way they could guarantee the earliest delivery i would have to pay out of pocket. Which makes no sense because i have already paid for these mattresses. The new order is actually cheaper than what they originally ordered. She told me well you didn’t pay for anything your lender did. Very rude once again!!! Why would you have me come down here to tell me this? I told them i should have a early delivery no matter what because i should already have these mattresses. Its not fair my son has to sleep on the floor because of their mistakes. She than said i have 3 sons and they sometimes sleep on the floor. Really??? very rude!!i The other was i didn’t buy the items my lender did. She hung up on us once over the phone. The delivery company who brought the items stripped out 2 bolts to the bunk bed. When I noticed they took off in a hurry littered their trash in my neighbors property and also forged my signature on their completion documents. It seems corporate is impossible to speak with with no actions being taken. I advise anyone to spend their money anywhere besides Ashley home store

We found the perfect table and chairs. Our salesperson let us wander and only checked us on as we needed help.

So the store ordered the wrong mattresses for our twin bunk. They sent out queen mattresses. This experience has been a complete disaster. Manager of the store told me the soonest they could get the new mattresses out is 3 days which would be on a Tuesday. The problem is the pending mattresses won’t remove from pending until the truck comes back to the warehouse. So i would need to buy them in order to receive the mattresses on Tuesday. Otherwise i can wait until they come back and remove from pending. They can’t guarantee that i will be able to still receive them on that Tuesday. So now my son has to sleep on a floor until further notice because we already donated his old bed. After all this i will never recommend or use Ashley furniture ever again. Wish there was a option for 0 stars. Thanks Ashley furniture for this terrible experience.

William was excellent! Very helpful and quickly got me just what I wanted.

I didn't receive service right away but after I got cleared for a credit of $4000 by Acima. I became the most important man in the store. I purposely went in my work clothes to show I had income coming in. I felt out of place and alienated until they saw I was able to purchase that amount of furniture. Needless to say, I haven't did business with them yet and I may take my loan elsewhere. Hopefully I feel appreciated somewhere else.

Ordered a sofa sleeper on line. Everything moved quickly & delivery was scheduled. The day before the delivery, we had a large heavy desk & our old sofa removed.(Same dimensions, just not a sleeper) out of our front entrance with no issues. We have had other furniture & even large refrigerators delivered & removed from front entrance & informed delivery guys more than once. They refused to use front entrance without us signing a release in case of damage to our home or the furniture. Finally, with comments made under their breaths, they attempted to bring sofa in our back entrance, with no success, so they took sofa back & left. They told us that someone would contact us about what we wanted to do within 24 -48 hours. I received an automatic email informing a scheduled delivery date for next week, like the failed delivery attempt never happened. I found the same Ashley sleeper @ Midwest Clearance Center the next day & sleeper was delivered two days later, IN THE FRONT ENTRANCE WITH ABSOLUTELY NO PROBLEMS. I never heard anything from Ashley so I called to cancel & talked to a very foreign speaking gentleman who did finally cancel my order ( I think) after much repeating back & forth. Never received a cancellation confirmation as promised. Not a very good first ( and last) experience.

Will Never Shop there Again! Do Not pay the 170 dollars for White Glove delivery, because that’s not what you’ll get. The experience literally left me in tears, and Ashley Furniture won’t help you once the furniture is delivered. They told me they don’t except returns, or handle issues with delivery, or give you a refund when the furniture went down 300 dollars in less than a week. Once it’s delivered they basically tell you it’s not their problem, call customer service, who say they make a complaint, but yet NO one ever calls you back. Worst experience I’ve ever had buying furniture and I will never shop there again!!

I would give this company zero stars if I could. Our couch came damaged. It was small so we didn’t make a big deal. Now we have noticed our table is cracked. My husband has called MULTIPLE times and is always told someone will come to look at it and a supervisor will call him back. No one has ever called him. Then he gets an email today stating that they can’t help him even though we were given a sheet in store saying cracks are covered up to 5 years. We bought this furniture for our first home and spent 8K yet can’t even get a call back. This company is a joke and doesn’t care about their customers. Horrible experience. Spend your money elsewhere.

The staff was nice and accommodating upon entry. The store had a wonderful selection of furniture and the sales representative, Susie Eichholz, even found the exact sectional we were looking for online. It was not in the store, but ordered from her and went on our way with a delivery date of 7-8 days out. We were in the middle of a military move across country and just closed on our house. My kids 2-4 years old were staying in a hotel (only covered by government for 10 days) until we received furniture. Due to the sales representative not processing our payment we did not receive furniture for nearly a month rendering our family to use blow up mattresses and lawn chairs until we received furniture. The mistake is excusable but the lack of ownership this sales person displayed when I brought the new delivery date to her attention was unacceptable and will tarnish the relationship I have had with Ashley’s since my first purchase in 2004. I wish you a better experience at the Lemay Ferry Ashley Homestore. Update: there was a response to this review stating to send information to them, so we could discuss further. Sent email and after 10 days, nothing. Awful customer service.

Everything was good and I appreciated Williams help and knowledge. The one thing I did not like, is when he explained the protection plan. I wanted it but he made it sound like I got my money back, after 5 years if I did not use it. Reading the fine print, I discovered that Ashley only issues an Ashley credit for the protection plan money. That is a fairly bid issue and I would have liked to informed of that.

It's a learning experience....

Communication is absolutely HORRIBLE. You'll almost never know when your delivery date is because they have you pick a day for them to not even confirm it so you've wasted 3 days waiting on furniture for it to NEVER be noted in the system. The store did not even apologize for the inconvenience.

1 star not for sales staff but for delivery and customer service site complications. First off, I have tried multiple times to speak to someone over the phone about the status of my order (last week and just now). I just waited 10 plus minutes on hold, the line than rang as if I was about to get through to someone and then no response. I stayed on the phone for 1 1/2 minutes with no line of communication. This happened last week as well when I tried to get through as there was a miscommunication about the delivery date. Today, I received a text message about my order being delayed and needing to reschedule a delivery. I had questions about the delay and did not want to just confirm a new date so I tried texting back asking for someone to call me to talk through the details. No response yet as I am sure it is an automated system like everything else. If you have to reschedule or change your delivery date good luck trying to get through to anyone other than a computer.

Absolutely terrible. We were completely lied to about the terms of a warranty program. We were very disappointed after spending quite a bit of money with the company. We really had problems from start to finish with this company. I would not recommend working with them.

Our salesperson was good and took a lot of time with us. Unfortunately 4-6 weeks for delivery turned into 5mo for part of our order and 8 mo for the rest of it. Every piece came in with some type of damage from manufacturing. Still working for repairs or replacement. I was really disappointed in the quality of this product and the delivery timeframe. Our delivery drivers were good though.

We purchased a couple sofas and an end table from the South County store. We were helped by David. He was very knowledgeable about the current promotions as well as thr products. He made our buying experience very enjoyable. We feel like we got a great deal as well as taking advantage of their 0% interest for a year. We'll be going back soon for a new table and chairs for our kitchen. I highly recommend our salesman David for your furniture needs.

I ordered a new remote for my husbands lift chair. The remote doesn’t work anymore and my husband is handicapped, this was in June I still haven’t heard anything or received it. I try calling but never NEVER get an answer.

My girlfriend and I were looking to buy a sectional last night, and we didn’t have a great idea of what we wanted. Daniel greeted us promptly upon our entrance, and was very friendly. He was extremely helpful when it came down to the financial aspect of things! All in all a great visit.

We purchased a sectional sofa at this store on May 21, 2022. The employees in the store were friendly and helpful. However, when the sofa was delivered, it was discovered that an error had been made at the factory and two of the legs could not be installed. We had the choice to have a technician come out and fix the issue, or send the sofa back to be repaired. We elected to have the tech come out and we were assured that within 24-48 hours someone would call to schedule the repair. As of June 8, no one had bothered to call. Mind you, this was after multiple calls over multiple days to the store and being transferred over and over again to people that did not know how to fix the problem. We called again yesterday (June 8) and were assured that we would receive a call today (June 9) to schedule the tech to fix our sofa. What we got was a robo call which told us the EARLIEST a tech could come out was July 20. That's right, 2 months after the purchase of the sofa we might get someone to fix it. Maybe. We actually scheduled a repair for the 28th of July since the 20th unfortunately wouldn't work. Now supposedly someone will call on July 27 to schedule a 3 hour window for the tech to arrive. That's 9, count 'em 9 weeks after the sofa was delivered. At this point, I can't say I would ever buy another piece of furniture here. Is the furniture quality so bad that the tech is that busy that they are 2 months behind making repairs? Yikes. We really like the sofa, but the service has been terrible.

Horrible Experience. I wish I could give a store/company a negative star review. I ordered 2 brand new beds mid APRIL and was told I would have them both MAY 19TH... When the beds didn't show up then, I was told Yet Again That I would have the both beds on a later date of JUNE 5TH.... AGAIN I STILL DONT HAVE THE BEDS FROM APRIL! At Ashley Furniture HomeStore, we live by the slogan, “This is home.” When it comes to our employees, we know that work is a 'second home. This Slogan is Complete Rubbish and I'll never use, refer or send anyone to this store or company ever again...

“Estimated date” has been pushed back over 4 months. You shouldn’t have to wait this long for a $700 coffee table (especially when paying in full up front!!!) I do NOT recommend this store and their shiesty tactics.

Bought a queen mattress. No idea I’d drop $5k. The sales person, Susie, was great. Took plenty of time with us and gave her personal recommendations partly based on her time with the company. She also had a credit background that was a plus. The only downside was arranging the financing with the holiday sale. I am an existing customer who bought prior goods online. The the bank that financed that purchase couldn’t find me as a customer now that I walked in to buy in person. Luckily, Susie figured it out and after 2 hrs, my $5k mattress will soon be on its way.

We had the pleasure of working with Kourtney and she was great to work with in store as well as via text or email as we were out of town and service was not great. Over a holiday weekend knowing it was busy in store she gave her attention like she did in store. Thank you Kourtney for the easy effort of buying our whole house.

My husband and I went for a sofa and the selection was awesome. Jimmy was our sales rep and we told him what we wanted and our restrictions and he was on point. He sold us on a small sectional with a chaise lounge and an accent chair that will fit perfectly in our home. I highly recommend Ashley for your furniture needs.

I was support for a friend who has been furniture shopping. The experience was wonderful and my friend found furniture she really likes at very reasonable financing. The store welcomed my older 17 pound dog so Barkley got to come with us.

We walked in knowing what we wanted to look at. Both items were on the floor. Made a decision and walked out 30 minutes later. No pressure to purchase anything else other than a reminder that when we are ready to buy mattresses, they would appreciate the opportunity to help us. Will update if we run into delivery delays or service issues.

This company is in a tail spin operationally. I ordered furniture there in June 21. It is now May 22 and I don't have it and they can't tell me when it will be delivered. They have had my 4k for a year. They have a sales team at the store that his helpful... But I don't know how anyone can have confidence that the overall company will deliver what they're selling. The furniture I still haven't received is still on their showroom floor so someone else could go purchase it today. Be advised.

My experience at the Ashley Store (South County, St. Louis location) was really good! I was welcomed as I came through the door. After being greeted and welcomed, I was immediately assisted by David W. He was very helpful in making sure I got what I wanted without pressuring me into any purchases. Go to South County and ask for David!

Every payment I make is adding money to my purchase instead of deducting it. It’s been 4 months, haven’t missed a payment and I owe MORE than what I originally financed. When I use their online customer service they deny it. When I call they put me on hold for 45 minutes! Stay away from Ashley furniture, you’re going to get robbed.

Hi so this is my second time here! As I walk thru the doors no one approached me and ask me for.any help! Two out the five employees was busy and Cindy as she was with someone ask me do I need help but was helping someone as well. So she assisted me and told me that she's helping someone but she will get me help right away! So while Walter was finishing up with the other customer he came over and helped us!! He was getting off of work when helped us with our purchase!! I really thank him for taking the time out great attitude help us get the bang for our buck and was patience and kind!! If it wasn't for them two I would just walk out the door!! FYI don't judge a book by its cover which mean how they dress doesn't mean the money don't spend either!! I was told my order would be delivered by may 14 never received a call I called and said would be delivered by the 31st so I called again and now won’t be until June 15 all while most of it was in-stock when I ordered in April why the continuous lies

The shopping experience at Ashley was wonderful. Kourtney was patient, easy to work with, and friendly. I ordered a living room set, bed, and mattress. The delivery team is awful. My first delivery went smoothly, I received a text, called to schedule my delivery date, and received a confirmation phone. The delivery driver came out, delivered my chair, and was courteous. My second delivery was not so great. I went through the same process. The drivers came to my home to set up the bed and deliver the mattress. During the installation process, they realized that my adjustable bed will not fit with the style of bed I choose, they stated that they will have to "cut holes in the drawers" to get the adjustable base to fit. I told them that would not work and that they would have to take the bed back if there was not another option. I stepped out of the room and her one driver state that he us "not taking thus bed down" he had a nasty attitude. One of the drivers called the distribution center and they stated that they would work with the store to get this rectified, the drivers left without completing the setup and stated that someone will call. Days went by and I never received a call. A week and half later I received a text stating that my order is ready for delivery. I called the customer service line on 4/11 to schedule delivery ), I was informed that the bed would be completed and the sofa would be delivered on 4/13, no one showed. I called the customer service line stayed on the phone for 4 hrs and was told that there was nothing they could do and that the set will be delivered on 4/15. I called today and was informed that the items is not going to be delivered until 4/19. This run around is getting ridiculous. It takes hours to speak to a supervisor and when you are transferred the call "gets disconnected".

We went to the Ashley store in South County(St. Louis,) and found three wonderful employees! Von, Susie and Michael. Each of them was extremely helpful - we felt like they cared more about our happiness with our purchase than “making a sale”, as we have experienced elsewhere. Our purchase and all the options were explained to us in great detail. This was also close to their closing time and at no time did we feel rushed. Michael, the manager, greeted us and assisted in the sale and made sure we were completely satisfied. We will definitely be back to this Ashley store in the future as we anticipate purchasing additional pieces for our bedroom set and for all future furniture purchases. Great job Von, Susie and Michael!

I purchased some furniture from them and purchased a warranty on the furniture and they suppose to give me my money back if I don't use the warranty and I didn't use the warranty so now they do not want to give me my money, they told me have to use the $250.00 and I gose to spend the amount now they said that have have to spend $500.00 more with that.

I was thinking all the way out here to this Ashley store saying that I have patio sets which I did not have patio sets it was a big patio set for house and I need one for an apartment

We bought furniture back in August of 2021. Still have not received all of the pieces but they have all of our money. Every time I call it’s pushed back another 2-3 months. The manager told us it would take 6-8 weeks. Today 3-22-2022, the girl told me now June or July for our bench 2 chairs and a server. I want a full refund and for them to pick up the table and 2 chairs. Today the girl told us they have a no refund policy. When I called a couple minutes moths back, they told us we could have a full refund. Never will we buy from Ashley again! They take your money and do this. You can never get thru to the store, it’s a call center. They never answer their phones because they don’t want to hear about the complaints. Don’t buy from Ashley Furniture!!!! 6-7-2022. We’ll we still don’t have our furniture that has been paid in full for almost a year now. They have someone that sends us a email saying it will be in soon we will contact you. Ashley Furniture is the worst place to buy furniture. Don’t do it. Buyers beware of them.

My frame for my couch broke and is not covered under the warranty. Only have had it for 3 years. So I spent all this money for the warranty and can't use it. Don't waste your money at this company. Everything is over priced and cheaply made.

When I came in the store I was immediately greeted. I was able to walk around and look at everything with employees checking in with me. This was very nice because I didn't feel like I was being forced to find something just because there was a sales associate by me at all times. Just bought a sofa with Ashley furniture store. Was very impressed with salesperson. Very helpful and very nice. Would definitely recommend.

I had been searching for a couch for months. I walked into Ashley's and found that they have a wide variety of styles and sizes to choose from. I ended up choosing the Kananwood sofa because its firm, has soft fabric, is a neutral color, and appeared to maintain its shape (after being on the floor for a year). It will be delivered at the end of the month. Delivery is free for purchases of $800 or greater. One reason I ended up choosing a sofa from Ashley's is because they use high resiliency 3.8 density foam. Weekends Only and Bob's Discount Furniture use 1.8 density foam. The higher the density of foam, the longer the couch should last. I also got the protection plan for $150. It covers stains, burns, rips, structural damage, and manufacturer's defects. The protection plan lasts 5 years. If you dont use the protection plan, they refund the price of the plan back to you as an ashley gift card (after the 5 years). Daniel helped me out on the floor. He was great at answering all my questions. I took off a star because when I got home, I looked up the couch. I was able to find a promo code that would make the purchase about $80 less than I paid in store. I called the store to ask them about it, and they didnt answer. I left a message, and no one has called me back. Other than that, a recommendation I'd give is to have some sample fabrics so people can take it outside and see the fabrics in different lighting, or the sample fabrics would be helpful to continue decorating. Lighting in the store is very yellow so it's hard to tell the true color of the couches. Overall, I'd return here, and I'd recommend others check it out.

Purchased a sofa back in December and have yet to receive it. First attempt the delivery guys came, saw it couldn’t fit in the elevator, suggested using the stairs and then mysteriously left. They didn’t even bother to tell me they were leaving and also left the doors of my apartment complex wide open free for anyone to break in (fortunately this didn’t happened but still). The second time they never showed up.. so now we are waiting for a third delivery attempt. I called and told them if they don’t deliver I will be canceling so stay tuned. So much hassle for a 700usd couch.. 2 months in and nothing yet. I would have prob been better off by buying something from wayfair or Amazon.

We have had the most awful experience dealing with Ashley Furniture. We purchased a large amount of furniture and the cocktail table top started peeling within 3 months. This table sits in a room where we don't even sit on a regular basis!! I filed a claim on September 7, 2021 and it took them 5 MONTHS to come to our home. The technician told me he could touch up my table with MARKERS, but that it would likely continue to peel up. He showed me how it was manufactured out of the Country and the furniture is notorious for peeling up at the seams. After hearing nothing back following his visit, I contacted Ashley and was told they closed my claim. This was without providing me any response on their actions. I was told he couldn't help me any further. I contacted the Assistant Store Manager and was told that clearly I received a piece of defective furniture and he would have reopened and someone would follow up. He wasn't sure if they would completely refinish the table or if they would replace but that he agreed it should be resolved. Today I received a text message that peeling is not covered under our manufacturers warranty. Absolutely ridiculous! I have spent hours on the phone with incompetent Ashley Furniture customer service reps who clearly do not care about their customers. This table should be replaced under warranty as it is not acceptable for a table to peel for NO reason and at no fault of ours. We will never shop here again and we will make sure every single person hears about our experience including the BBB.

Had a great experience at the Lemay Ferry store. Kourtney worked with me to choose the perfect mattress for my sleep pattern at a great, economical price. And then they also had the bed that I've been searching for in stock. I cannot wait to experience a better night's sleep! Would certainly recommend Ashley HomeStore and Kourtney!

We went to the store to browse their products. We were approached by Scott who was very helpful and definitely not overbearing. We left and visited other furniture stores. We returned the next day because we knew we wanted to purchase our living room furniture and work with Scott. It was a very pleasant experience and we look forward to getting our new furniture
