I was not given white glove delivery as indicated on my invoice. Delivery workers were courteous but said they do not put things together when I asked them if they install the shelves on my shelving unit. Also, the legs were not installed on my server piece. So.. if those things are important to you.. make sure they do them.
Against my better judgment I purchased from them again. We had an awful experience with them in late 2019/ early 2020. The delays were all blamed on Covid. I expressed my concerns when I went back into the Stl store on 11/16. The salesman assured me this had all improved. He showed me on the system the two recliners were in stock and set up delivery for 11/24. On 11/21 I received a call stating ONE of my recliners were in and the other was supposed to be arriving on 11/24. Delivery would call to set up a time on 11/25. Of course no call. I called the customer care line today and was on hold for 1 hour and 31 minutes before speaking to a representative. I'm now being told NEITHER chair is in stock and now expected 12/6. How do we go from both being in stock, to one and now none? Ashley continues the consumer games. They are very fast to take your money and then not deliver. I spoke to the salesman also today who was supposed to talk to the general manger and call me back. Again a broken promise. I have not received a call. When making a purchase a consumer should not have to chase the items. This is the exact same thing that happened in 2019. Ashley stop over promising and under delivering. There needs to be a serious shake up in policy and leadership at this company. Buyers beware.
Bought a recliner today and Jason was very helpful and informative.
I purchased an entire bedroom set. The footboard had flaws in it. I told the delivery person before he left. He told me to call Ashley. I did and a service order was put in. After a few weeks the “repair” company came. The tech couldn’t fix the flaws. He said he would note that in the ticket that it can’t be fixed as he can’t sand out and repaint. Instead the tech just closed the ticket as if he had repaired it. Now Ashley is saying they have to send the same company out again to do the same thing. Because until that company, SAW Furniture repair states it can’t be fixed Ashley won’t do anything. SAW Furniture has a D rating with the BBB and numerous complaints. I was still planning on getting some additional new furniture but at this point it won’t be from Ashley.
