Great customer service.

Can’t get anyone on the phone (not totally uncommon these days but still frustrating) Spent 35+ minutes shopping around in store and couldn’t get attention from any of the 5 workers we saw. Not a “welcome in” “can we help you?” Absolutely nothing. Found the couch we wanted and were ready to purchase. Ended up leaving, checking out Slumberland (they didn’t have the couch for us but A++ customer service.) Ordered from Ashley online and saved 900+ dollars verses in store. *adding now that we’ve received my order to compliment the three guys who deliver and got my sectional unloaded quickly. They were so friendly and helpful.

worst customer service I've ever experienced. they put the wrong bed rails in our order and it's taken nearly 3 weeks to even schedule the right rails for delivery, now delivery is gonna be another 10 days out. this whole time I've had to sleep on the floor and get nothing but a "sorry for the inconvenience" from every one I talk to

Prices are crazy but the service is really good.

Bought our daughter an expensive bedroom set for her graduation gift. Almost a month later, the slats for her bed have still not arrived. No one will even deal with this. I have always recommended this store, but never again.

I purchased a couch a year and a half ago and also purchased the extended warranty. My couch is literally falling apart. All the seams have come undone and all the stuffing from the in the pillows is falling down. I spent $400 on an extended warranty and Ashley And the warranty company said there’s nothing they can do. I called her. They hang up on me. I was on the phone for over four hours from switch from department department. Don’t buy furniture for them. There are nothing but scammers rip offs.

Salesman Andy greeted me as I entered the So. County store and asked me what I was looking for. I told him a decent sofa that wasn't too pricey. Andy showed me several beautiful and comfortable sofas and told me to take my time checking them out. No pressure!! I really liked that. I found what I was looking for and Andy and I were satisfied. I had a great experience!

NEVER BUY FROM ASHLEY!!!! We made a large purchase almost 3 years ago of over $10,000 worth of furniture. We spent all that time exchanging damaged merchandise and asked for returns several times! They insisted the only way to go was by exchange due to it being delivered. We accepted those terms and spent years trying to get furniture that was in like new condition. It consistently arrived with significant damage including a nail sticking out the bottom of a dresser that scratched my hard wood floor. The exchanges took so long that we moved multiple times and had a baby. While my wife was days away from giving delivery, she called and informed them that we were having a baby and moving. They told us since it was past the normal 14 days, we would have to call back to reschedule when we were done moving. We called a month later and was told our exchange was cancelled and that there was nothing we could do. They told us we were stuck with the damaged merchandise. We asked to speak to a supervisor and were told someone would call us. They never did. We called back a week later and were told the same thing. No call. We called a 3rd time and finally got a call back. The gentleman could barely speak English and when we told him our story, he hung up on us. This is the worst customer service I’ve ever seen in my life. I WOULD RATHER PAY DOUBLE SOMEWHERE ELSE THAN TO EVER SHOP HERE AGAIN. Never buy from Ashley!!!!!

My partner and I were looking for our sofa/sectional couches for our new home. We were greeted by the staff. Andy Williams was an excellent agent/ staff working with us while looking for options. Neighbor rec'd furniture legs seperate. Went to put legs in no holes in bottom where legs go! Has called and total run around. They offered him a 50 gift certificate!!! Still waiting to hear from them about repair or?? Beware if buying from Ashley

Our salesman Andy from the South county store was fantastic. The store manager Scott was absolutely terrible. Treated us like we were dirt in the ground and definitely doesn't know how to speak to customers respectfully. He shouldn't be the manager at all. We were told we could pick up our furniture after we initially scheduled delivery which we tried to do to save $400 and they let us know we could go to the distribution center to pick it up and then Scott tells us we can't. So rude and ignorant. Then our delivery was scheduled between 3p - 6p and our furniture didn't arrive until 7pm which was dinner time. That's completely uncalled for. I had to take a whole day off waiting for this furniture. I'm extremely unhappy and I won't be coming back for future purchases.

We were met by Cindy, who was very friendly and helpful. She pointed out all of the features of the furniture we were considering, then left us alone to decide. After visiting two other stores, we came back to buy from her!

Salesman was very dry. Didn't explain we had to put down 10 percent of the 60 month free financing until we were ready to leave and papers signed. Shady!

Trash trash trash! Customer service is nonexistent! They flat out lie and don’t disclose information or change the story on “their policy “. The delivery drivers are shady and refuse to take away agreed to old mattress because it had a small soda stain said they couldn’t put it on the truck with new furniture. (I was never told the old mattress must be pristine)(the mattress was wrapped in plastic and taped up as they instructed me to do at the time of my purchase and this was all I was told to do ) then tried to make money off me by saying “they could take it to the dump for $30.” Jason the store manager is rude and argumentative. In the last year I’ve spent $10 thousand dollars at this store and this was the third time I’ve bought a mattress from I’m here! never again! Trash

INSTEAD OF REPLACING THE DAMAGED FURNITURE WITH NEW UNDAMAGED FURNITURE THAT I PAID FOR. CUSTOMER SERVICE - THATS A JOKE. THEY DON'T STAND BEHIND WHAT THEY SELL...

We've been back twice and dealt with Anthony each time. He's knowledgeable and friendly. We're set furniture wise. The prices are great and dealing with someone like Anthony, who put our needs first, is fantastic.

Cindy was amazing and helped me find the perfect recliner. Edit...the recliner was substandard workmanship. Upholstery staples were not flush with the side board and when my 11 yr old grandson reached between the cushion and side of the seat to retrieve the remote it shredded the back of his hand. This was less than 24 hrs after the chair was delivered. Delivery guy had said I had 72 hrs to report issue. Went to where I bought the chair and was informed 1. they did not do customer service at stores or at Ashley period they out source it to a non Ashley company 2. I was informed the drive who said 72 hrs was wrong and instead the moment I signed for delivery Ashleys responsibility for the defective chair or any furniture was non refundable PERIOD wth apparently it was in the very small print of the computer form I signed. At NO time did anyone tell me this at Ashley or I would have bought it somewhere else. Scammers...dishonest...should be under a lemon law offense...like a slimy used car salesman

Andy helped us with the purchase of a new couch, ottoman, rug, and table. He was super friendly and helpful throughout the process and I definitely would recommend working with him if you get the chance! His manager, Jason was also very helpful and was able to give us some nice discounts that really helped out with the price a lot. Really a fantastic experience overall!!

I have shopped and purchased at this location several times. One purchase 5 years ago I spent over $7,000 and purchased the warranty($649) and was told if I didn’t use the warranty in those 5 years then I would be able to use the value of the warranty to make a purchase in the store. The value is good for 180 days after the warranty expires. I have been in the store several times since the warranty value became available to look for something to buy and was told by several different associates who I had shown my warranty card to that I could use it to purchase ANYTHING in the store. I came to the store to finally make a purchase and when the associate greeted me I showed her my certificate and once again asked if I could use it on ANYTHING in the store and she said YES. I picked out several decor items and a filing cabinet. It took 40 minutes of her and the manager ringing up my items; apparently decor items are not in their system and the manager had to manually enter them so the associate could ring them up. Makes me wonder how they can possibly do inventory if so many items aren’t even in the system… She said she wanted to scream every time she had to call him over so he could take an item over to his computer to add it to the system. When she was done she picked up my warranty certificate which had been by her computer the whole time and the manager said oh that can’t be used for any of this. He said everything I picked out was clearance; nothing had a red tag or a price marked out or came from a special section indicating that it was clearance. He said clearance items couldn’t be used and I said I didn’t know these items were clearance, and that I had been told I could use it on anything in the store. He said whatever I wanted would have to be put on layaway before I could purchase it with my certificate. I was quite upset after having spent over 2 hours in the store already and asked where it said this and he said it was policy. He read through my certificate and no where on it does it indicate that decor can’t be purchased or anything about layaway. He could not show me anywhere that these “policies” were in writing. I explained that several employees told me I could use it on ANYTHING in the store and he said, no my employees know the rules. Apparently not because the associate who was helping me didn’t tell me these “policies.” He said he guessed he could try calling his regional manager and walked away and I walked out of that store. An exception shouldn’t have to be made for me to use my certificate. The “policies” should be clearly written out for employees and customers to understand.

We just purchased a new mattress. Our sales associate was Andrea Ammonette. Not only was she extremely informed about mattresses, she had an amazing personality. It was a pleasure shopping with her. She made our decision easy & pain free.

Bought two recliners. Delivery was on time but one of the recliners is defective. Customer service in this area is a joke. We had to send pictures in an email and they would see if they could get a service technician to come out in a week or ten days. Absolutely unacceptable! They should bring us a new chair and take back the defective one. Unbelievable! For a national company this is the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

The only reason why I'm giving three stars is because the manager that work that night that greeted us as we came in and the older lady with the purple leather jacket that greeted us as we left, checked on us to see if we needed any help. That's the only reason why the three stars are there. Those 2 actually deserve five stars. But the bald head guy with the beard I understand it was the end of the night, but it's still your job until you close (which was in 45 minutes) to help us. He seem as if we were bothering him because we were looking for someone to help us. So we ended up just walking out. The older lady, she did a very wonderful job of asking if we needed any type of assistance. She's the sweetest little lady that you can ever run across. A true gem if you ask me and the manager that night I forget his name, but he was very informative and helpful and at the time when we were looking at something we were interested in, he was busy which was understandable the bald head guy was not. He was very agitated because we called for him to come over and see if he could help or get somebody to help us. He did get on his mic and told somebody to help us but his attitude sucked camel *ss. So whether it was closing towards the end of the night it doesn't matter you still have to do your job and treat customers with respect.

The warranty policy was sold to me as if the Ashley Store would work with me to replace any damaged items. This is untrue; they use a third party company ProtectAll who finds any cause to not approve a claim filed. Learn from my mistake and DONT BUY THE WARRANTY

The associate we spoke with on the phone was very professional, knowledgeable and helpful. We were very pleased in our interactions with her.

The showroom is very nice. No one bombarded us when we walked in, which was nice to settle in and look around a bit solo. Sales person was kind - they pushed the protection plan repeatedly even after we declined but overall, pleasant, easy and quick experience!

Update Jason went back on he’s word to give me and my wife what we purchased, he came up with something like we investigated and found out it was no wrong doing on our in??? I’m like excuse me?? He stood me up for to days had me thinking he was on my side helping me I had to tell him I will contact police I tried calling all the bogus numbers they gave me but they kept sending me back to the rip off store , Thank god Lisa from corporate called me before It got ugly , she said they ordered it and it will be here in a month , still inconvenient tho I’m just glad they understand and care about the customer, it’s sad I had to get it ok from someone who’s all the way up smh . I hope no other customer have to go through what I went through we are American citizens living at hard time, why would our own stores go with ripping somebody off putting us through so much trauma!!! This manager is very rude and should not be doing customer service a Jason McKee. He refused to return two unopened pillows and then got into a verbal arguement with me. I attempted to cancel the rest of my 3000 dollar order which he also refused to do. I will never do business with this store again. Ashley corporate needs to fire this man as i have seen other complaints on him as well. I wish i would have tapped this conversation to bring to an attorney and sue this place.

Update (4 months later): Tim is still awesome but Ashley’s products are not!!!! Barely 4 months old and our $2600 couch is breaking down. Didn’t get the warranty because it only covers accidents and not structural issues. Buy your stuff off Amazon, it’ll last just as long but a fraction of the price. 5 starts: Tim was awesome!!! Very helpful without being over bearing. 10/10!

If i could give negative stars i would ! We bought two beds LAST CHRISTMAS! They didn't have the proper rails for one of the beds but put it together anyway and said we'd have the correct rail in a week or two.... It's been over a year now that we've ordered the bed ... Guess what NO RAIL ! and the bottom drawer is not accessible because of this as well.... We've called, texted, emailed, went in store .... We continue to pay them but, they REFUSE TO BE ACCOUNTABLE AND FIX THE BED THAT WE PAID OVER $2000 FOR ! I'M IRATE TO SAY THE LEAST

I was not given white glove delivery as indicated on my invoice. Delivery workers were courteous but said they do not put things together when I asked them if they install the shelves on my shelving unit. Also, the legs were not installed on my server piece. So.. if those things are important to you.. make sure they do them.

Bought a recliner today and Jason was very helpful and informative.

I purchased an entire bedroom set. The footboard had flaws in it. I told the delivery person before he left. He told me to call Ashley. I did and a service order was put in. After a few weeks the “repair” company came. The tech couldn’t fix the flaws. He said he would note that in the ticket that it can’t be fixed as he can’t sand out and repaint. Instead the tech just closed the ticket as if he had repaired it. Now Ashley is saying they have to send the same company out again to do the same thing. Because until that company, SAW Furniture repair states it can’t be fixed Ashley won’t do anything. SAW Furniture has a D rating with the BBB and numerous complaints. I was still planning on getting some additional new furniture but at this point it won’t be from Ashley.

The customer service is terrible the manager Jason hung up on me. I will never visit another Ashley store.

Terrible experience with brand new loveseat that needed servicing. Tech had no idea what he was doing and was watching YouTube videos trying to fix it. Took him 3.5 hours and the loveseat is now in pieces all over my mom’s floor. They can’t come fix it now for another month and my step dad just fell off of the loveseat and hit his head due to the mess that was made. I’ve tried calling the service department 10 times and they tell me a manager will call me back and they never do. My next step is hiring an attorney which I’ve never done my entire life. Zero stars for this company.

I have bought several things from them over the last two years. The delivery time is never when promised. They keep pushing it further and further back. When you call to check on the status they said they can’t even find my order with my phone number or with the sales order number on the receipt so I gave them 7,000$ and they can’t find the order? You have no clue when you are getting it. Stay away from Ashley on Lemay ferry in St. Louis Missouri. Review edited. I was able to get a hold of a manager named Anthony. He said your order will be there on time I don’t know why they kept calling you and changing the delivery date we have everything for your order ready to go we will see if it comes in time like he stated.

LIARS, waited over 3 weeks for delivery, it's not happening anytime soon, all we get is excuses for spending 2k cash on a living room outfit, now they claim they did not give a delivery date and may take another 6 weeks, ether the sales person lied or we are liars and it's not us, even got a bot texting us lies 2 days ago stating it was being prepared, we have city clean up 2 days and wanted to get our old set out for it, now will be stuck with it till next April

Do not buy any furniture that needs assembly from Ashley's. We bought a bedroom set in June and have had nothing but problems with the Ashley's team ever since. We are STILL waiting for pieces to be fixed and the whole situation has been a nightmare. Once the set was delivered and setup we found that one drawer did not open, the bed frame itself was not setup correctly so it is slanted, and the dresser door and drawer was bent during install. We reported these things to Ashley's. A month later they sent someone to take a look. He then had to put in a work order and order a new drawer slide. The parts arrived another month later and it took multiple calls and emails to the store before being assigned someone to actually come and fix it. The soonest someone could be assigned to our work order was October and something tells me not all pieces will be fixed at that time. Incredibly disappointed with Ashley's and would never buy another thing that needed assembly from them. After paying for the "white glove" service we've found it's not worth the hassle.

The driver and the other young man, helping him both did a great job bringing in the furniture and getting it set up with no problem. They seemed professional and courteous as well.

Von was amazing!! She helped me pick out the perfect set. She explained the benefit of several bedroom sets that I looked at. She was patient as I thought about my options and how I wanted to proceed. Never pushy and always helpful. Everyone should go and ask for her!!

So let me 1st say my sales lady was so sweet and we had no issues with her. We purchased because they assured us we could purchase and think about it and as long as we canceled the order before delivery all fees would be reversed. We were concerned about the base and I tried calling but didn't feel it was clear that we they wrote up the correct base. We wanted to ensure before it was delivered. When I called the store they would not look over my receipt, they would only tell me that it had all the features I wanted by what i told them when online is said differentplus the price was off. How would they know if they are not looking at my actual receipt and checking item numbers.. next I found the mattress protector at a cheaper price so I decided to take that one back since nothing had been delivered yet and mattress protector had no reason to be opened or used since we didn't even have the mattress yet. When I walked in to ashley to inquire in person about our base and return the maytress protector they pointed me to the store manager, who could assist me. I told him I had questions and wanted to return my matress cover still secured and unopened in the bag just as it was when we walked out of the store. He instantly became so hasty with me and said we don't do returns on matress covers. We cant help you. hmm but I haven't even opened this as u can see and I don't have the matress or base yet and speaking if i have some questions, but before I could even ask about my base, he said- well I don't know what to tell you, we don't take returns on matress protectors. I felt so upset that he had such a hateful stern grouchy attitude with no eye contact and he wasn't hearing me and ignoring me, so I handed him the full receipt and told him to cancel the entire order. At this point I choose to shop elsewhere. His mouth dropped. He now wants to talk and is interested in why??? He ask me why I wanted to cancel an almost 7,000 dollar order. I explained at this point his attitude was the reason. I did try to explain how we were wanting to check on the ergo smart base we were purchasing to make sure ours had massage and Bluetooth. He ignored and walked away as i spoke to another sales lady whom was kind and understood what i was saying. I asked her why he walked away and She told me he was calling synchrony bank. He was so rude and gave no response. He walked back to the table where we were, he said - I reversed the entire order and I'll take the mattress protector too, since it was also reversed. I said okay great he still said nothing. I asked for a receipt or some kind of proof, but he rudely ignored us and wouldn't give me anything and started working on something else.. I left and went out to my car and my husband and I called synchrony bank credit and they said there was still a $279.00 charge which turned out to be the matresss protector. So the manager tried to steal the protector from us knowing when he walked away he reversed the charges except the protector and then lied right to our face. We went back inside with the proof and told him we knew what he had done and he rudely handed us back the matress protector and didn't say a single word. No apology nothin!! This man should not be the south county store manager, He is very rude and caused this store to loose an entire sale because of his attitude from the start. We will never purchase from Ashley again. I will have a credit card with then I'll never use. We went somewhere else and are looking into buying the bed and base from them and it's cheaper. I feel sorry for people who have to work with him. I would have not canceled my order if he would have just kindly said we can't take back mattress covers and then kindly listened to my questions. Now he ruined it for everyone. I can't deal with a store that isn't trustworthy

Very friendly atmosphere.

Honestly, we didn’t have the best experience at first. The salesman had accidentally written the wrong item number down and it wasn’t caught until the wrong couch showed up in our living room. I ran up to the store to get it straightened out and the manager Jason Mckey helped me. He was very nice and professional. He listened and filed the paperwork that needed to be filed it get it fixed. He was very thorough and did not rush me. He gave me his full attention and it felt like he really cared and wanted to make things right. The salesman also came over, admitted he had made the mistake, and he gave an apology that felt very sincere. Even though it didn’t go perfectly, the way this situation was handled made up for it. We got our correct couch and it’s very nice. Good quality and comfortable. Thank you Jason for fixing a situation that could’ve gone very wrong and doing it in a timely matter. You went above and beyond to make sure we got what we thought we had originally purchased and we are very grateful for that.

My wife and I found a nice sofa, I set up delivery date in the store for 9/1/23, our move in date for our first new place. Sales associate said "we can do that" I also set delivery time through the text, and phone call as it was crucial to have it on this day. Yesterday, 9/1/23 I have recieved no info on delivery and sofa never came. I called and go through automation to find out delivery is estimated in 2 weeks? I set delivery for 9/1/23 3 different ways. Now my wife and I have no furniture and I guess are expected to sit on the floor for 2 weeks. I feel totally ripped off by delivery charge since we didnt recieve our sofa when we needed it. Great selection and great sales associates. I visited a few times within the past few weeks trying to pick out a couch. Each time, they greeted me at the door but also gave me space when I told them I needed to look around and think. We worked with Andy through most of the process and he really took care of us and gave us a great deal on the couch he knew I loved. Their furniture is high quality and I know we will be enjoying our new couch for many years to come!

I went here with great intentions but after I put a down payment on my furniture. I was called several days later by another associate whom was helping me & told me that he looked at my paperwork & it was incorrect & they would have to change my finance terms his name was Greg. Now Greg didn't make the sale it was another associate. After being harassed by him several weeks. I received an email & I was made aware, I couldn't get those terms I was buying furniture for my mother whom I brought with me, which takes alot to bring her out. I was told the bedroom furniture was available in a full size for my 88 yr old mother. When I arrived back i was informed that it was not available, I should've ran then. But I was helped by a nicer gentleman & he was present & available & helped me. I don't know what's going on with these two men. But l was sent an email and was told by the interim manager Jason Mckey they couldn't honor the signed contract on 8/5/23. By this time I asked for my down payment Bottom line if they make an error, you have to deal with the consequences They don't take responsibility.

Beware!!!!! Was told furniture would be delivered on 7/12 delivery did not happen and no phone call to explain why . Went in store to get refund was greeted wiith anger and told I needed to call in to a different office to get refund have been calling for 2 days no answer. Will reach out to corporate if I do not get through in the next day or 2 . Wish I had read the reviews prior to going to Ashley furniture. Coincidentally, I spoke with my sister, not knowing she had purchased furniture with them also and she had the exact same issue.!!!!!!

First time buying anything from Ashley Furniture and lets just say it will be my last. Paid for a brand new coffee table and received it damaged. Within 8 minutes of delivery (the time it took me to unpack it) I contacted customer service about receiving an exchange because this one was damaged (their policy is 72 hours within delivery as stated by TWO of their delivery personnel). It is now the end of Tuesday and three customer service representatives and a supervisor later, along with countless texts back and forth and calls - they are doubling down now and saying the best they can do is send a technician out to repair it and if it can't be repaired, then they will exchange it. Mind you they did not reduce the price of the table but sold and took money for a BRAND new table and now want me to keep a DAMAGED table for repair. In what world do you pay for something brand new in which the price reflects it but have to deal with a repaired item. I would not be writing this if I paid for a repaired table and the price reflected it - but I don't believe it is unexpected for me to get what I paid for; which is a brand new table. The sales people are quick to sell and delivery people are quick to drop it off and get it out of their hair. Apparently there is no concrete policy that every employee is aware of. But everyone says what they need to to either make the sale or get it off their hands. I have NEVER experienced such hardship and a worse overall company in my life. Rest assured that I will NEVER buy another item from this company and will advise everyone I know against buy from here as well. Absolutely disgusting.

I am giving a 1 because unfortunatly I usually really like their stuff. Evertime I place an order it is delayed . I needed this Item for july 4th weekend. My scheduled date for my item was 7/1/2023. It is now 7/10/23 and they are saying two weeks . Unacceptible!!!!! I upgraded to a 2 star because I recieved my ottoman and I love it! The process is still messed up I was grounded the whole day for the delivery. They send you the delivery date and time before thay even have the item THAT IS A PROBLEM. AND SEEMS TO ME AN EASY FIX. QUIT DOING THAT!

Customer service is nonexistent with Ashley. They sold us a kitchen table and a 5-year extended warranty through GBS, telling us that no matter what may happen to it in the 5 years, we would be covered. No one provided warranty paperwork or specific details. We were just told that any damage would be covered. We’ve had the table one and a half years and the finish is coming off. This table is rarely used and should not be doing that. The warranty company refuses to cover the claim because we did not call within 30 days of noticing the issue. The thing is, NO ONE told us about this 30 day window until today! GBS will not work with us to reach resolution on this and Ashley won’t work with us either. Ashley says it’s out of warranty and that we need to contact GBS. We are getting the runaround and no one has stepped up to assist us with this. We spent $239.99 for a 5yr plan that isn’t helping us. We have a damaged table and GBS, who should cover the repair, offered to provide a list of local service technicians we can pay out of pocket to repair the table. This is unacceptable!

Our sales person, Cindy was awesome. We went there and told her what kind of table we were looking for and she took us right to the perfect table. She also explained the different kind of stools and we purchased 3 based on her recommendation. After that purchase we decided we wanted this chair and she took care of that for us too. Manager welcomed us to there store. Cindy was professional and very helpful. I will definitely shop there again when I need new furniture.

I do not recommend anyone to shop from here because they do not keep their promise. They said we can return or do exchange the sofas and loveseat within a 24 hours notice without problem when they were trying to sell the seat. After that promise we bought 2 sofas and a loveseat but when we put the two sofas in our living room we didn’t like one of the sofas and decided to exchange with same brand sectional. We called them within 24 hours but they said that they will not accept any type of return or exchange. So we went to store and they said same thing. We won’t give up until they keep their promise and find a solution for this problem. So be aware when they said something don’t believe their words and make sure you write that down on the agreement.

We were shopping for a new mattress. Ashley had a great selection. Our sales rep couldn't have been better. Daniel Scanlon was knowledgeable, answered all of our questions, and most importantly to us, did NOT apply any heavy pressure. We made a purchase that day. Would go back to Ashley Furniture for future purchases. Ask for Daniel!

Rob was great. Gave us space to look for what we needed but was there when we needed him. Greeted us as soon as we walked in. Wasn’t pushy.

Very bad customer service and bad management they don’t know what they are doing. I bought 2 sofas and 1 loveseat. They told me that if you refused anyone one of them or if they don’t fit you can call us within 24 hours and we will exchange or accept return without any problem. After I got my items I decided to return one of the sofas and buy a sectional within 11 hours. But when I call them they refused to do it. I do not recommend to anyone to purchase anything from this store.

Horrible after-sale service. I have been trying for months to get some parts fixed under warranty, and so far, it's not fixed. Also have been trying for months to cancel the additional GBS protection plan since I found out how horrible the after-sale service is when my furniture is still under warranty. The furniture is not fixed, and the protection plan is not canceled or refunded. I don't recommend this place.

We have been buying from Ashley for years!!! We went to buy a sectional and their advertisement for the alleged sale is complete nonsense. Wednesday we were their and were told 25% discount this weekend. We return today and the sectional was only 25% discount if you financed for 12 months. All other financing would require a 10%, 20% or 30% down payment. And no discount full price. It’s not about the down payment it’s about not being clear of what the offer and or the sale entails. The sectional showed one price and it wasn’t that price we were sitting on that had extra pieces. So it was more money. So the sectional which was $3499 turned into over $4400 This is not the Ashley we have known for years. Rest assured we will never go their again. So people read and understand what you are buying, do not get taken.

I wasn’t greeted when I walked into store. Which isn’t a huge deal to me, however when I was finished looking around the store and needed assistance all the salesman were just huddled around in a circle talking and not paying attention to any of the customers. I spoke with one of the salesman regarding a couch and I was hesitant because of price and unsure if it would fit in space with the amount of pieces I wanted (modular sofa). He was quite pushy on getting me to purchase that day and kept insisting that “I didn’t need that many pieces for couch.” I was in between getting 4 or 5. Didn’t like that he was trying to tell me what to do with that.

Will NEVER buy from Ashley furniture again!!!! My husband and I bought 2 sofas from there a year and a half ago. The base is a trampoline style. This holds the cushions in place. We were talked into buying a $600 extended warranty to cover ANY damage that would happen. This fabric that holds the cushions up ripped on both sofas … after only having it for a year and a half. Ashley will NOT cover it and told us there is nothing they can do. So now we have spent thousands of dollars on 2 sofas we can not even use!! It’s disgusting! I have heard they used out sourced vendors during the pandemic so they could have supplies. Except what they got was TRASH!!! This is unacceptable!!! I will make sure everyone I know knows not to go to Ashley!! The mistreatment we have received since that purchase. There is more we bought and were told other promises that also did not happen. So for anyone that will listen DO NOT go there!!!!! Buyer Beware!!!!!!

My boyfriend and I were looking for some new furniture for our new house. We found that Ashley had so many options, different prices, great deals, and a great staff. We entered thinking we would be lucky to buy a couch that day and left after buying a new couch and a new dining dining set. So happy and excited!!

We orderd a floor lampfrom this store and asked the sales person if we could return if we were not happy with it, she yes as long as we kept the rewciept. Not so!! Ashley refuses to accept our return. Due to a company no return policy. We were not informed of this, We are very upset with Ashley. I spent 3 hrs making phone calls to get this resolved and it did not happen. Shame on Ashley!

Ashley furniture should have been our first choice but Weekends is going out of business so we thought it would be a great option. We were wrong. Went to Ashley after weekends and Danial greeted us, gave us our discount paper with his name and walked away (did not hover!!). We found our 3 piece living room furniture cheaper than a couch at weekends, also came with 5 year protection plan and if not used we get a $500 store credit. It’s a no brainer to go to Ashley and please ask for Danial, he’s a great person!!

Chair is to big for my body type. Wanting to return it but was unable. I had a few people tell me they never would buy anything from there. So disappointed. I wouldn't even give it a star.

We ordered a twin bunk bed from here and has been a complete nightmare. They ordered and shipped queen mattresses with a twin bunk bed. The manager by the name of Lori had me come down to the store to set-up the exchange for the twin mattresses. When i got there she tells me she was unable to process the payment through my lender due to no available funds. The mattresses they ordered wrong was holding up my credit. Said the only way they could guarantee the earliest delivery i would have to pay out of pocket. Which makes no sense because i have already paid for these mattresses. The new order is actually cheaper than what they originally ordered. She told me well you didn’t pay for anything your lender did. Very rude once again!!! Why would you have me come down here to tell me this? I told them i should have a early delivery no matter what because i should already have these mattresses. Its not fair my son has to sleep on the floor because of their mistakes. She than said i have 3 sons and they sometimes sleep on the floor. Really??? very rude!!i The other was i didn’t buy the items my lender did. She hung up on us once over the phone. The delivery company who brought the items stripped out 2 bolts to the bunk bed. When I noticed they took off in a hurry littered their trash in my neighbors property and also forged my signature on their completion documents. It seems corporate is impossible to speak with with no actions being taken. I advise anyone to spend their money anywhere besides Ashley home store

We found the perfect table and chairs. Our salesperson let us wander and only checked us on as we needed help.

So the store ordered the wrong mattresses for our twin bunk. They sent out queen mattresses. This experience has been a complete disaster. Manager of the store told me the soonest they could get the new mattresses out is 3 days which would be on a Tuesday. The problem is the pending mattresses won’t remove from pending until the truck comes back to the warehouse. So i would need to buy them in order to receive the mattresses on Tuesday. Otherwise i can wait until they come back and remove from pending. They can’t guarantee that i will be able to still receive them on that Tuesday. So now my son has to sleep on a floor until further notice because we already donated his old bed. After all this i will never recommend or use Ashley furniture ever again. Wish there was a option for 0 stars. Thanks Ashley furniture for this terrible experience.

William was excellent! Very helpful and quickly got me just what I wanted.

I didn't receive service right away but after I got cleared for a credit of $4000 by Acima. I became the most important man in the store. I purposely went in my work clothes to show I had income coming in. I felt out of place and alienated until they saw I was able to purchase that amount of furniture. Needless to say, I haven't did business with them yet and I may take my loan elsewhere. Hopefully I feel appreciated somewhere else.

Ordered a sofa sleeper on line. Everything moved quickly & delivery was scheduled. The day before the delivery, we had a large heavy desk & our old sofa removed.(Same dimensions, just not a sleeper) out of our front entrance with no issues. We have had other furniture & even large refrigerators delivered & removed from front entrance & informed delivery guys more than once. They refused to use front entrance without us signing a release in case of damage to our home or the furniture. Finally, with comments made under their breaths, they attempted to bring sofa in our back entrance, with no success, so they took sofa back & left. They told us that someone would contact us about what we wanted to do within 24 -48 hours. I received an automatic email informing a scheduled delivery date for next week, like the failed delivery attempt never happened. I found the same Ashley sleeper @ Midwest Clearance Center the next day & sleeper was delivered two days later, IN THE FRONT ENTRANCE WITH ABSOLUTELY NO PROBLEMS. I never heard anything from Ashley so I called to cancel & talked to a very foreign speaking gentleman who did finally cancel my order ( I think) after much repeating back & forth. Never received a cancellation confirmation as promised. Not a very good first ( and last) experience.

Will Never Shop there Again! Do Not pay the 170 dollars for White Glove delivery, because that’s not what you’ll get. The experience literally left me in tears, and Ashley Furniture won’t help you once the furniture is delivered. They told me they don’t except returns, or handle issues with delivery, or give you a refund when the furniture went down 300 dollars in less than a week. Once it’s delivered they basically tell you it’s not their problem, call customer service, who say they make a complaint, but yet NO one ever calls you back. Worst experience I’ve ever had buying furniture and I will never shop there again!!

I would give this company zero stars if I could. Our couch came damaged. It was small so we didn’t make a big deal. Now we have noticed our table is cracked. My husband has called MULTIPLE times and is always told someone will come to look at it and a supervisor will call him back. No one has ever called him. Then he gets an email today stating that they can’t help him even though we were given a sheet in store saying cracks are covered up to 5 years. We bought this furniture for our first home and spent 8K yet can’t even get a call back. This company is a joke and doesn’t care about their customers. Horrible experience. Spend your money elsewhere.

They do a great job not coming back out after calling for over a week fixing things now our bed split in half the delivery guys are lazy

The staff was nice and accommodating upon entry. The store had a wonderful selection of furniture and the sales representative, Susie Eichholz, even found the exact sectional we were looking for online. It was not in the store, but ordered from her and went on our way with a delivery date of 7-8 days out. We were in the middle of a military move across country and just closed on our house. My kids 2-4 years old were staying in a hotel (only covered by government for 10 days) until we received furniture. Due to the sales representative not processing our payment we did not receive furniture for nearly a month rendering our family to use blow up mattresses and lawn chairs until we received furniture. The mistake is excusable but the lack of ownership this sales person displayed when I brought the new delivery date to her attention was unacceptable and will tarnish the relationship I have had with Ashley’s since my first purchase in 2004. I wish you a better experience at the Lemay Ferry Ashley Homestore. Update: there was a response to this review stating to send information to them, so we could discuss further. Sent email and after 10 days, nothing. Awful customer service.

Everything was good and I appreciated Williams help and knowledge. The one thing I did not like, is when he explained the protection plan. I wanted it but he made it sound like I got my money back, after 5 years if I did not use it. Reading the fine print, I discovered that Ashley only issues an Ashley credit for the protection plan money. That is a fairly bid issue and I would have liked to informed of that.

It's a learning experience....

Communication is absolutely HORRIBLE. You'll almost never know when your delivery date is because they have you pick a day for them to not even confirm it so you've wasted 3 days waiting on furniture for it to NEVER be noted in the system. The store did not even apologize for the inconvenience.

1 star not for sales staff but for delivery and customer service site complications. First off, I have tried multiple times to speak to someone over the phone about the status of my order (last week and just now). I just waited 10 plus minutes on hold, the line than rang as if I was about to get through to someone and then no response. I stayed on the phone for 1 1/2 minutes with no line of communication. This happened last week as well when I tried to get through as there was a miscommunication about the delivery date. Today, I received a text message about my order being delayed and needing to reschedule a delivery. I had questions about the delay and did not want to just confirm a new date so I tried texting back asking for someone to call me to talk through the details. No response yet as I am sure it is an automated system like everything else. If you have to reschedule or change your delivery date good luck trying to get through to anyone other than a computer.

Absolutely terrible. We were completely lied to about the terms of a warranty program. We were very disappointed after spending quite a bit of money with the company. We really had problems from start to finish with this company. I would not recommend working with them.

Our salesperson was good and took a lot of time with us. Unfortunately 4-6 weeks for delivery turned into 5mo for part of our order and 8 mo for the rest of it. Every piece came in with some type of damage from manufacturing. Still working for repairs or replacement. I was really disappointed in the quality of this product and the delivery timeframe. Our delivery drivers were good though.

We purchased a couple sofas and an end table from the South County store. We were helped by David. He was very knowledgeable about the current promotions as well as thr products. He made our buying experience very enjoyable. We feel like we got a great deal as well as taking advantage of their 0% interest for a year. We'll be going back soon for a new table and chairs for our kitchen. I highly recommend our salesman David for your furniture needs.

I ordered a new remote for my husbands lift chair. The remote doesn’t work anymore and my husband is handicapped, this was in June I still haven’t heard anything or received it. I try calling but never NEVER get an answer.

Never buy gift cards from here unless you/the recipient are planning on using at the specific store you bought it from. Cannot use it online either, no returns of gift cards, and absolutely terrible customer service. Avoid at all costs.

My girlfriend and I were looking to buy a sectional last night, and we didn’t have a great idea of what we wanted. Daniel greeted us promptly upon our entrance, and was very friendly. He was extremely helpful when it came down to the financial aspect of things! All in all a great visit.

We purchased a sectional sofa at this store on May 21, 2022. The employees in the store were friendly and helpful. However, when the sofa was delivered, it was discovered that an error had been made at the factory and two of the legs could not be installed. We had the choice to have a technician come out and fix the issue, or send the sofa back to be repaired. We elected to have the tech come out and we were assured that within 24-48 hours someone would call to schedule the repair. As of June 8, no one had bothered to call. Mind you, this was after multiple calls over multiple days to the store and being transferred over and over again to people that did not know how to fix the problem. We called again yesterday (June 8) and were assured that we would receive a call today (June 9) to schedule the tech to fix our sofa. What we got was a robo call which told us the EARLIEST a tech could come out was July 20. That's right, 2 months after the purchase of the sofa we might get someone to fix it. Maybe. We actually scheduled a repair for the 28th of July since the 20th unfortunately wouldn't work. Now supposedly someone will call on July 27 to schedule a 3 hour window for the tech to arrive. That's 9, count 'em 9 weeks after the sofa was delivered. At this point, I can't say I would ever buy another piece of furniture here. Is the furniture quality so bad that the tech is that busy that they are 2 months behind making repairs? Yikes. We really like the sofa, but the service has been terrible.

Horrible Experience. I wish I could give a store/company a negative star review. I ordered 2 brand new beds mid APRIL and was told I would have them both MAY 19TH... When the beds didn't show up then, I was told Yet Again That I would have the both beds on a later date of JUNE 5TH.... AGAIN I STILL DONT HAVE THE BEDS FROM APRIL! At Ashley Furniture HomeStore, we live by the slogan, “This is home.” When it comes to our employees, we know that work is a 'second home. This Slogan is Complete Rubbish and I'll never use, refer or send anyone to this store or company ever again...

Bought a queen mattress. No idea I’d drop $5k. The sales person, Susie, was great. Took plenty of time with us and gave her personal recommendations partly based on her time with the company. She also had a credit background that was a plus. The only downside was arranging the financing with the holiday sale. I am an existing customer who bought prior goods online. The the bank that financed that purchase couldn’t find me as a customer now that I walked in to buy in person. Luckily, Susie figured it out and after 2 hrs, my $5k mattress will soon be on its way.

We had the pleasure of working with Kourtney and she was great to work with in store as well as via text or email as we were out of town and service was not great. Over a holiday weekend knowing it was busy in store she gave her attention like she did in store. Thank you Kourtney for the easy effort of buying our whole house.

My husband and I went for a sofa and the selection was awesome. Jimmy was our sales rep and we told him what we wanted and our restrictions and he was on point. He sold us on a small sectional with a chaise lounge and an accent chair that will fit perfectly in our home. I highly recommend Ashley for your furniture needs.

I was support for a friend who has been furniture shopping. The experience was wonderful and my friend found furniture she really likes at very reasonable financing. The store welcomed my older 17 pound dog so Barkley got to come with us.

We walked in knowing what we wanted to look at. Both items were on the floor. Made a decision and walked out 30 minutes later. No pressure to purchase anything else other than a reminder that when we are ready to buy mattresses, they would appreciate the opportunity to help us. Will update if we run into delivery delays or service issues.

This company is in a tail spin operationally. I ordered furniture there in June 21. It is now May 22 and I don't have it and they can't tell me when it will be delivered. They have had my 4k for a year. They have a sales team at the store that his helpful... But I don't know how anyone can have confidence that the overall company will deliver what they're selling. The furniture I still haven't received is still on their showroom floor so someone else could go purchase it today. Be advised.

Every payment I make is adding money to my purchase instead of deducting it. It’s been 4 months, haven’t missed a payment and I owe MORE than what I originally financed. When I use their online customer service they deny it. When I call they put me on hold for 45 minutes! Stay away from Ashley furniture, you’re going to get robbed.

Hi so this is my second time here! As I walk thru the doors no one approached me and ask me for.any help! Two out the five employees was busy and Cindy as she was with someone ask me do I need help but was helping someone as well. So she assisted me and told me that she's helping someone but she will get me help right away! So while Walter was finishing up with the other customer he came over and helped us!! He was getting off of work when helped us with our purchase!! I really thank him for taking the time out great attitude help us get the bang for our buck and was patience and kind!! If it wasn't for them two I would just walk out the door!! FYI don't judge a book by its cover which mean how they dress doesn't mean the money don't spend either!! I was told my order would be delivered by may 14 never received a call I called and said would be delivered by the 31st so I called again and now won’t be until June 15 all while most of it was in-stock when I ordered in April why the continuous lies

The shopping experience at Ashley was wonderful. Kourtney was patient, easy to work with, and friendly. I ordered a living room set, bed, and mattress. The delivery team is awful. My first delivery went smoothly, I received a text, called to schedule my delivery date, and received a confirmation phone. The delivery driver came out, delivered my chair, and was courteous. My second delivery was not so great. I went through the same process. The drivers came to my home to set up the bed and deliver the mattress. During the installation process, they realized that my adjustable bed will not fit with the style of bed I choose, they stated that they will have to "cut holes in the drawers" to get the adjustable base to fit. I told them that would not work and that they would have to take the bed back if there was not another option. I stepped out of the room and her one driver state that he us "not taking thus bed down" he had a nasty attitude. One of the drivers called the distribution center and they stated that they would work with the store to get this rectified, the drivers left without completing the setup and stated that someone will call. Days went by and I never received a call. A week and half later I received a text stating that my order is ready for delivery. I called the customer service line on 4/11 to schedule delivery ), I was informed that the bed would be completed and the sofa would be delivered on 4/13, no one showed. I called the customer service line stayed on the phone for 4 hrs and was told that there was nothing they could do and that the set will be delivered on 4/15. I called today and was informed that the items is not going to be delivered until 4/19. This run around is getting ridiculous. It takes hours to speak to a supervisor and when you are transferred the call "gets disconnected".

We went to the Ashley store in South County(St. Louis,) and found three wonderful employees! Von, Susie and Michael. Each of them was extremely helpful - we felt like they cared more about our happiness with our purchase than “making a sale”, as we have experienced elsewhere. Our purchase and all the options were explained to us in great detail. This was also close to their closing time and at no time did we feel rushed. Michael, the manager, greeted us and assisted in the sale and made sure we were completely satisfied. We will definitely be back to this Ashley store in the future as we anticipate purchasing additional pieces for our bedroom set and for all future furniture purchases. Great job Von, Susie and Michael!

I purchased some furniture from them and purchased a warranty on the furniture and they suppose to give me my money back if I don't use the warranty and I didn't use the warranty so now they do not want to give me my money, they told me have to use the $250.00 and I gose to spend the amount now they said that have have to spend $500.00 more with that.

We bought furniture back in August of 2021. Still have not received all of the pieces but they have all of our money. Every time I call it’s pushed back another 2-3 months. The manager told us it would take 6-8 weeks. Today 3-22-2022, the girl told me now June or July for our bench 2 chairs and a server. I want a full refund and for them to pick up the table and 2 chairs. Today the girl told us they have a no refund policy. When I called a couple minutes moths back, they told us we could have a full refund. Never will we buy from Ashley again! They take your money and do this. You can never get thru to the store, it’s a call center. They never answer their phones because they don’t want to hear about the complaints. Don’t buy from Ashley Furniture!!!! 6-7-2022. We’ll we still don’t have our furniture that has been paid in full for almost a year now. They have someone that sends us a email saying it will be in soon we will contact you. Ashley Furniture is the worst place to buy furniture. Don’t do it. Buyers beware of them.

When I came in the store I was immediately greeted. I was able to walk around and look at everything with employees checking in with me. Just bought a sofa with Ashley furniture store. Was very impressed with salesperson. Very helpful and very nice. Would definitely recommend.

I had been searching for a couch for months. I walked into Ashley's and found that they have a wide variety of styles and sizes to choose from. I ended up choosing the Kananwood sofa because its firm, has soft fabric, is a neutral color, and appeared to maintain its shape (after being on the floor for a year). It will be delivered at the end of the month. Delivery is free for purchases of $800 or greater. One reason I ended up choosing a sofa from Ashley's is because they use high resiliency 3.8 density foam. Weekends Only and Bob's Discount Furniture use 1.8 density foam. The higher the density of foam, the longer the couch should last. I also got the protection plan for $150. It covers stains, burns, rips, structural damage, and manufacturer's defects. The protection plan lasts 5 years. If you dont use the protection plan, they refund the price of the plan back to you as an ashley gift card (after the 5 years). Daniel helped me out on the floor. He was great at answering all my questions. I took off a star because when I got home, I looked up the couch. I was able to find a promo code that would make the purchase about $80 less than I paid in store. I called the store to ask them about it, and they didnt answer. I left a message, and no one has called me back. Other than that, a recommendation I'd give is to have some sample fabrics so people can take it outside and see the fabrics in different lighting, or the sample fabrics would be helpful to continue decorating. Lighting in the store is very yellow so it's hard to tell the true color of the couches. Overall, I'd return here, and I'd recommend others check it out.

Purchased a sofa back in December and have yet to receive it. First attempt the delivery guys came, saw it couldn’t fit in the elevator, suggested using the stairs and then mysteriously left. They didn’t even bother to tell me they were leaving and also left the doors of my apartment complex wide open free for anyone to break in (fortunately this didn’t happened but still). The second time they never showed up.. so now we are waiting for a third delivery attempt. I called and told them if they don’t deliver I will be canceling so stay tuned. So much hassle for a 700usd couch.. 2 months in and nothing yet. I would have prob been better off by buying something from wayfair or Amazon.

We have had the most awful experience dealing with Ashley Furniture. We purchased a large amount of furniture and the cocktail table top started peeling within 3 months. This table sits in a room where we don't even sit on a regular basis!! I filed a claim on September 7, 2021 and it took them 5 MONTHS to come to our home. The technician told me he could touch up my table with MARKERS, but that it would likely continue to peel up. He showed me how it was manufactured out of the Country and the furniture is notorious for peeling up at the seams. After hearing nothing back following his visit, I contacted Ashley and was told they closed my claim. This was without providing me any response on their actions. I was told he couldn't help me any further. I contacted the Assistant Store Manager and was told that clearly I received a piece of defective furniture and he would have reopened and someone would follow up. He wasn't sure if they would completely refinish the table or if they would replace but that he agreed it should be resolved. Today I received a text message that peeling is not covered under our manufacturers warranty. Absolutely ridiculous! I have spent hours on the phone with incompetent Ashley Furniture customer service reps who clearly do not care about their customers. This table should be replaced under warranty as it is not acceptable for a table to peel for NO reason and at no fault of ours. We will never shop here again and we will make sure every single person hears about our experience including the BBB.

Had a great experience at the Lemay Ferry store. Kourtney worked with me to choose the perfect mattress for my sleep pattern at a great, economical price. And then they also had the bed that I've been searching for in stock. I cannot wait to experience a better night's sleep! Would certainly recommend Ashley HomeStore and Kourtney!

Ashley furniture made it possible for me to furnish my home with new pieces after my divorce. I couldn’t believe I was able to get such a beautiful living room furniture set with such affordable payments. Since then, I have remarried and we just remodeled our new home. Of course we purchased our new furniture from Ashley, but also found amazing decor that looks fantastic! Cindy and Walter have been extremely helpful! I’ve always used Ashley and now my friends do too!

Attempted to deliver furniture and it didn’t fit. Reorder of Furniture never delivered. Literally a no call no show. I cancelled the whole order. The delivery driver the first order said my daughter in law had a “Juicy Ass”. Management fully refunded but never tried to make anything btr.

We’ve been in twice and both times worked with Doris. She knows her stuff! She took into consideration our situation and made recommendations according to what we needed. All this to help our son, who was from out of state and shopping for furniture. She didn’t get the sale (he had to buy from a local Ashley), but she still treated us like a buying customer. Do not shop here. Not only do they lie about what they have in stock. But they also force you to take possession of a incomplete order and start paying on your synchrony credit card even though you still don’t have your complete order. Told almost a year later that the piece was no longer available and there was nothing they could do because I took possession of the couch. No refunds , no one to talk to on the phone or in the store, and then told they would not take it back since I took delivery on it. Even though I was told I would not be charged on my credit card till the last piece was delivered. If I could give this a zero I would.

Buyer beware. Check the Better Business ratings before you buy. We ordered a media cabinet Aug 2021. We picked up our cabinet in a box Nov 2021. When we opened the box, the cabinet was damaged. They told my credit card company I could not get a refund and they would reorder the cabinet and I still have not received Dec 2021. Their customer support is nonexistent. It is now Feb 16, 2022 and I still do not have our furniture. After I posted this review they acted like they were concerned. All they did was tell me the replacement cabinet was on its way and they would not refund our money under and circumstance.

This is now the second major purchase I’ve made from the Ashley furniture store. The team at the South County location on Lemay Ferry rd were all very helpful and polite . Walter was great he gave me all the information I needed and even with delays due to Pandemic he was able to help us find furniture for our new place that would deliver within a few weeks of moving in. We had an all together smooth experience and everything went pretty quickly . If your looking for quality furniture I highly recommend they have lots of sales and financing options .So I would like to send a thanks to the team there and look forward to my next purchase at that location .

The customer service at the south county store is the reason for my rating(not the quality of furniture). It was one of the worst experiences. I worked with Shelly, her follow up skills are non-existence even after telling me multiple times she would call me back(never did!). It took about 5 phone calls, 5 voicemails AND 2 in person visits(even after talking to the store mgr) for me to get this partly resolved and then found out my order was cancelled. I am still trying to get the rest of my refund and have emailed her twice with ZERO response so it looks like I will have to make another visit to the store. Extremely disappointing! I will really have to think long and hard before I consider buying anything from here again.

My fiancé and I discussed getting new bedroom furniture and we went to Ashley. Once we got there, we walked around the showroom, and as we turned the last corner, we found our new bedroom. We worked with Cindy Walsh at the South County St. Louis, MO location and she was the most sincere, knowledgeable and caring salesperson we’ve ever worked with. That night, we bought half of the set. On the way home, and throughout the week, we talked about the remaining pieces, did the additional measurements and ultimately we needed to get the rest of the set. Upon our second trip to the store, Cindy was working and she once again provided her expertise and made the buying process incredibly easy!! We now had purchased our first bedroom set and the first big purchase of our lives together. A few weeks go by and now we need to get our new mattress for the new bedroom set. We researched, tested out our options, went to other stores, however, we needed to go back to Ashley!! We go back (on Black Friday of all days) BUT, it was another great experience!! We got our mattress (Temper-pedic!) and once again we’re helped by Cindy! EVERYTHING about the buying process was smooth and effortless. The deals were amazing and we walked away knowing we made the best choice and we’re extremely happy!!

Not happy. In November, 2019, I purchased a leather sectional for $4k, and also purchased a 5 YEAR WARRANTY FOR AN EXTRA $550. At the time of purchase, I was told that the warranty covered everything. It made good sense, so I purchased the warranty. Last week, I noticed the chaise lounge looked like it had a slight dip at the footing. Upon inspection, it appeared the frame had somehow buckled underneath. Bear in mind that this is a couch that is in my finished basement, and is used about once a month. I’m not claiming the damage was not our fault, but as much as the couch is used, it could just have easily been assembled in such a way as to compromise the structure. I called Ashley HomeStore Monday of this week, and they told me that they were going to send someone out. I was supposed to have received a phone call yesterday with a time window confirmation for the repair. No call yesterday, but today, I received a text message from someone that I could not call back that said I was outside of the one-year warranty and that I would have to pay for a service call and subsequent repair. When I called the store manager, I told her what had happened, she told me that she was sorry, but the warranty did not cover everything, and that I should have read the multiple pages written by a lawyer that actually explains the warranty. On top of all of this, we ordered a sofa and loveseat last year from the same store, and we received one that looked like it had been torn and repaired on both pieces. It took us about nine months or so to get the sofa and loveseat initially, and now we will have waited another 6 months, or more, to get the replacements, assuming those are going to be on time and right. I will never do business with this company again. I am very dissatisfied, and have spent a load of my hard earned money to be treated so poorly over a piece of furniture that is nearly as much to replace as what the warranty cost me. Literally about $100 difference. I am still in awe of how I was treated after being a loyal customer. Never again.

And within 10 mins of walking in, she had me at one I had already seen online, and fell in love with. Hopefully it gets delivered on the date I need it, and all will be perfect! Update: 11/2021 My table was delivered a week later than promised, that’s fine, I was just happy to get it by Thanksgiving. There were 2 delivery guys, both very personable and nice, but said they normally work in the warehouse, they don’t normally deliver, but like everyone, they’re short staffed, so they’re filling in. When it was delivered, I noticed a huge black “marker” spot on the one end. I asked the driver about it, he took a picture of it, said he was going to send it in and see what they say…..he walks out, comes back in and says, “So there are no more in the warehouse, but they said to keep this one, they would send out a repair rep in a week or so, he will determine if he can fix it or not, and if not, they will replace it when they get one in stock. In the meantime, the other delivery guy pulls a furniture marker out of his pocket and says let’s see what this does….it was a DARK marker, and it wiped off, but did not budge the original mark. Needless to say, 3 weeks go by, I have yet to hear back from anyone at Ashley. Apparently the drivers did not report any of this, they did not make any calls or send any pics to anyone regarding my issue because when I reached out to the customer service, they had no record of anything! I finally get a text back a couple days later, she asks for some pics to determine the problem. I sent her 4, a day goes by, I get a reply telling me that that is a warranty issue and because I didn’t purchase a warranty with it, it’s not covered! HOW IS SOMETHING THAT CAME STRAIGHT FROM YOUR WAREHOUSE, to my home, not considered a problem on Ashley’s end?? I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN, I will tell everyone I know, to never shop here again, and I will NEVER BUY A PIECE OF ASHLEY FURN FROM ANY OTHER STORE!!! Which sucks, because I did have such a great experience in store. I thought I had found my new furniture go to place! And I buy a LOT of furniture! 😡

This store receives ZERO stars! I purchased a dining set on 9/05/21. My delivery was scheduled on 10/02/21. The delivery man informed me that only 2 legs of the table were in the box, he recommended that I keep the set because the other 2 legs would be delivered within 7-10 days. Today is 11/01/21 and I am still waiting on 2 legs for my table. Is this normal practice for your company to delivery incomplete sets? When will I be contacted about this order?

My experience at AHS was positive. Staff team members were helpful upon entering the store and also while I browsing. I was asked occasionally have you been helped? I was also introduced to the manger of the store. It was pleasant experience. The team members didn't mind giving an opinion, when asked for their input. I was shopping for a table and chair set. I didn't like the chairs that came with the table. I was shown alternate chairs. The sale person moved different styles of chairs over where the table were located. Because I asked and the person appeared not to mind doing it. I wanted to see how the color scheme and style would match the table. The table was selected because, it was a good fit for the area in my kitchen.. Honestly, I had been looking for a table and chair set to meet my expectations for nearly a year and a half. Ashley had an exceptional amount of displays on their showroom floor. Lots of different styles to choose from. Scott, the salesman that we worked with was extremely helpful and did not pressure us or rush. It was a great experience. Pricing was reasonable and fortunately for us the pieces thst we wanted were in stock. We inquired about other pieces that did have a bit of a lead time. But we're shorter than Ashley's competitors!

We had the best customer service and didn’t feel rushed. The sales associate didn’t mind all our questions and was very sweet and fun to work with!!

Honestly the in-person service was lovely, although I was told I should receive a TV stand, fireplace, coffee table and end tables by November at the latest. I finally called customer service to see what the delivery eta should be and was told January. I ordered these items in JULY. I understood I'd be waiting a bit but now being told two months later than I was originally told and I had to call to find out is incredibly unprofessional and I'm deeply annoyed and disappointed.

Found everything I needed easy and fast

I only wish I could rate my experience with Ashley as zero stars - while the service at Lemay store was fine and the salesperson Scott was very positive, the follow up service with Ashley customer service was intolerable. I ordered a couch and loveseat set from the Lemay store in May of 2021, after multiple delivery attempts of the wrong furniture I finally received the set I had ordered in late July. After 3-weeks in my home I noticed significant wear and pilling of the fabric on the couches. After multiple calls to the service center I was finally told to send in pictures of the wear and fabric pilling and was told that it could not be repaired and that I would need new cushions or order a different couch. Based on the terrible experience with the current couch I requested a refund and just wanted to return the set. I was told that this was not possible and was moved up a so called 'escalation chain' at the customer service call center. After speaking with an extremely rude manager I was then told there was no remedy and that I will have to just keep the couch. It seems the further up the customer service chain you go the less responsive they are. I am now stuck with a couch and loveseat set that continues to show significant wear and now looks worse than the 14 year old couch I replaced. I strongly recommend you avoid any dealing with Ashley Home Store and furniture - poor customer service and no accountability on their part to take care of their customers - especially when obviously defective furniture set is delivered. STAY AWAY!!!

My wife and I were looking for a power reclining sofa and love seat for our family room and stopped to look at Ashley HomeStore we were greeted when we entered and asked if we needed any help I said we were just looking. The staff said if we had any questions to let them know and let us look in peace. Once we had found something we liked we asked Kourtney (the sales person) some questions we had about the pieces we were interested in. She was very helpful and answered all our questions and explained the pricing the delivery dates and about the warranty. While my wife and I discussed it Kourtney excused herself so we could talk it over. There was no pressure and Kourtney was very patient we were very pleased with our experience and would buy from Ashley's again and have Kourtney handle or transaction.

Salesperson introduced himself and did not follow us around the store which is exactly what I like. When we had questions we went over to the salesperson, they nknew the answer to our questions etc. Excellent service

Overall had a great sales experience. Josh was fantastic. He was very helpful and professional. He was in no way pushy, which was what we had been experiencing all day. The only down side was that the delivery team is unable to the old mattress and box spring.

Kourtney with a “k” was the best sales gal I have ever had! She listened to what I was looking for, showed me my options and gave me several finance options. She never pressured me to look at something that I wasn’t looking for. She didn’t even try to up sell. That’s huge!! She has the patients of a Saint and is just a sweet person in general. Great service with quality products, couldn’t ask for more!

When shopping for a new children’s dresser, my daughter and I visited Ashley home store as our first choice. Not only did we find a lovely piece of furniture, but our sales person, Scott, was first rate. We were in and out of the store, with the transaction completed, and delivery date confirmed, in less than 45 minutes! I will be visiting again as the store had some beautiful furniture and groupings that inspired me!

The only reason I am giving a 4 star rating is for the lady who initially helped us (Niecy) and told us that the furniture would come 4-6 weeks. We knew there was something off about that since online it said the bedroom set was out of stock. When we came back the next day we were fortunate to get Scott Wright (Sales Manager) who was really honest and told us the main part of the set wouldn’t arrive until March. He also went with us and took the time to walk around and see other alternatives to what we could get in a little sooner than March and made sure we were accommodated in the best way. Thank you Scott Wright for the honesty and professionalism that you presented us the whole time!

Work really hard to get me what I wanted

I visited the South County store yesterday and I did not have a great experience with the sales associate. As I was leaving I found something for my home office I thought would work. Went home and decided to go back today. Upon entering I was approached by Kourtney. Well let me just say this, she is a gem! I couldn’t have been more pleased. The worst experience possible. We were openly told we were lied to in order to have sale made. They delivered all pieces broken after our order had arrived, and they shipped to another customer. Then showed up with delivery with no notification. Then, Instead of taking broken items, they conveniently leave them and give you a number to call to deal with it yourself. Go back into store, and they do not even attempt to resolve issues, and tell you to call Customer Service. Everything about experience was terrible. I already have used two other furniture stores to complete my order that Ashley failed to deliver, and both got job done with no issues in 1/3 of time. Do not waste your time and money here. I feel sorry for the nice sales people, and that they work for such a horrid and putrid company.

Ordered a frame and bed about 6 weeks ago. Was told at the latest, my delivery would be delivered May 27th which worked out perfectly because I'm getting married in 2 weeks and my in-laws are coming to town after the wedding to stay at our new house. We had even picked a time for delivery. May 27th came and went. I called to see what was going on and now they are saying I can't schedule delivery for another 3-5 weeks. Now I'm not going to have anywhere for my in-laws to stay.

I had a great experience with them especially young man by the name of Daniel was very pleasant very understandable and communicating in what we wanted, it was just a very pleasant individual to work with and finding out what you want it I highly recommend him when you walk in to the store the only downfall I have with Ashley delivering my furniture is that they were supposed to deliver it on 25 June 2021 and now they pushed it back until Friday, June 28, 2021 and which really cool inconvenient me because I had something to do and now I have to cancel and work around their schedule

Ashley Furniture had our living room furniture delivered on Saturday and it looks AMAZING! Their salesman, Kevin Smith, recommended the perfect accent chair and table lamps!

I worked with Bobby today with bedroom furniture for my daughter and couches for the basement of my new home. He was very knowledgeable, patient and offered a variety of different ideas to find something I liked within my budget. I’d definitely recommend going to him.

Salesman said he scheduled our order for a certain day. Called the day before the delivery because I hadn't heard about delivery time. SURPRISE he never scheduled it. Not really too surprised though as he was SUPER unprofessional, dropped a curse word by accident and we said "no worries" so then he proceeded to take things up a notch and use curse words that would be perceived as worse. I have been waiting on this furniture for six weeks thinking that it was out of stock. Its been in the warehouse for a few now according to customer service. No email notifications for scheduling, no phone calls no nothing. So big shout out to Kevin for ruining my weekend and making the pregnant lady go another week without bedroom furniture.

We purchased dining room and great room furniture at Ashley on Lemay Ferry. It was a very good experience. Our salesman, Bobby, was pleasant and very knowledgable. He answered all of our questions and concerns. He went out of his way to make sure we had the best prices possible for our purchase. I highly recommend this Ashley store.

The service was good but the salesperson was pushy regarding selling us a warranty. My gut feeling told me it was unnecessary, but she convinced us so we spent an additional $200. She said it was good for 5 years and they would clean it or repair it if needed. I called the warranty company today because the spring on our loveseat is very squeaky after 3 1/2 years. The warranty rep said it could be replaced, but first a technician would come inspect it for $65 and then decide if it needed repair. If they come back to fix it they charge $135 per hour. I should have stuck to my initial gut feeling and never purchased a warranty. And the salesperson, Cindee Richards should have given us all of the info, but obviously she probably gets commission from selling the warranty and didn’t let us know all the details. Very high pressure to sell it and I should have known better, but I trusted her. The furniture itself (a loveseat recliner and dining set) is made from pretty cheap material. The cushions on the chairs sink in and have no support now, and the loveseat material is very thin and doesn’t hold up well.

Update: I reached out to see about my order pick up date and was now told they didn't know when it would be in and that there wasn't a set pick up date. When we purchased, we were told a set pick up time- which was on a Tuesday. I didn't see this on the paperwork so reached out to confirm because according to the distribution center online, they aren't even open on a Tuesday. The days/hours are completely different than what we were told. And we have no idea when we will get our item we purchased and it was already paid for. I would never have agreed to pay for this or order this if we didn't know when it would be available. Good customer service, didn't hover but available to help as needed. Check out purchase was fast and easy. Big price differences online vs. in store, especially with warranty, but they will price match so all good. Delivery option was free for porch delivery but online order only, this was not price matched in store so have to pick up or pay a kind of pricey delivery charge. Otherwise all was good.

The delivery service is very respectful of your home and your new purchase. The reason I can say this is because I have purchased a mattress and 2 sofas from my local Ashley’s Home Store and will always go back to them as I need anything to fill my home with quality and comfortable furniture. I had a wonderful experience with Ashley Furniture on Lemay Ferry Road in St. Louis. I had gone in the store several times and found a loveseat that I really liked. The loveseat was the best I could find for the money, the quality and support. After looking at several area furniture stores, I went back to Ashley and purchased the loveseat I first looked at. What really impressed me was the sales teamwork at Ashley’s. The Assistant Manager (Kevin) helped me yesterday and when I went back today to purchase it, another salesman named Bobby finished the sale, he gave the credit for the sale to Kevin and when I told him to take the credit, he refused and said that they are a team and take care of each other. I was really impressed with the entire sales experience.

I would never recommend buying anything from Ashley!! It took almost five months to get my furniture. It was finally delivered on February 24. On February 25 I contacted the company about an issue with the loveseat. I am still waiting for it to be fixed and now they want me to pay $45 for someone to come look at it!!

These guys were great. I had a bad experience with Ashley furniture years ago but these guys have made it to where I'll give it a chance again. My five year old was engaging in conversation with each sales person she came across and every single person was as nice as can be. I was really impressed by the level of customer service. I will definitely be going back to this location in the future for my furniture needs.

Not very personable...oh 10 different people ask if you need help but they really don't understand that older people, not me but my mom, need things laid out a little clearer. I also don't understand why they have a store if you can order it all online. The salesperson was basically going to fo the same. Lose, lose.

If I could give the sales associate Josh five stars I would it's not the sales associates fault that all the furniture is gray all the sofas are gray all the tables are gray or brown blah. And talk about overpriced seriously! However Josh was awesome he was knowledgeable he took time to look online with me good experience with him selection not very much to choose from other than Gray brown and leather reclining sofas

Update; still waiting for furniture to be repaired. You will have better quality if you shopped at Sanford and Son. Company does not care nor do they listen. I will gladly tell anyone not to shop at Ashley.Purchased a lovely bedroom furniture set in October, salesmen was great , furniture was delivered in January, delivery men were careful and courteous. They showed me places on the furniture that was damaged. Bed rail was split, drawers were warped, The wrong mirror was delivered as well ,along with screws falling when I open the drawers. I have called several times with assurance an emergency ticket was made, I have sent 6 emails, no reply's to the emails nor has 1 person called me back. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau over a week ago, Ashley still has yet to respond. I kept my end of the bargain as far as paying for my furniture why cant Ashley stand behind the product they sell? Edit, I am still trying to get my furniture repaired. I am positive you would get better furniture it your bought from Sandford and Son. If anyone is looking for furniture, I do make sure to tell them to go anywhere but Ashley.

Sales staff was nice, got everything done I needed and worked to get me a deal. One sales member was a little overbearing and would follow me to each set, sit down and start talking so I couldn’t talk with the person I was with or think about it which was frustrating and felt very pushy

We went in Ashley Furniture expecting to be bombarded by salesman, and thankfully we wasn’t. We was able to walk around the store and find the right set of furniture for our home. The only downfall is the wait due to COVID! We purchased a beautiful living room set and hope to get it sooner than they said. Thanks Ashley Furniture

Customer service of this store is terrible. I purchased a sectional in Mid- November with estimated delivery date in 2nd week of January. Every time I called in to check on the status, I was told that the delivery date was pushed out by 2weeks and this happened for 4times. On Feb27th, I got upset when I was told that it got pushed out again from March 5th to March 23. I told that I would have to cancel it if it keeps repeating and I did hung up on customer representative (J Garcia). When I called again on March 19th, I was told that J Garcia had cancelled my order and I have to reorder the sectional with new estimated delivery date in June 2021. We never authorized or requested to cancel the order. They deserve zero stars for this kind of customer service. Also, we had little miscommunication with their manager. We bought protection service of $400 for different set of furniture in 2015. As we have not used their service, we were told that we would get back that amount as Credit amount for purchases after Jan’2021. As we got our sectional in Nov’20 (before credit amount’s maturity date), manager suggested that we open their credit card and requested us to call between Jan 1st and Jan 15th(initial estimated delivery date) so that credit amount of $400 can be applied towards the open balance on the credit card. When we called, the manager said that he does not remember working on this order. I accept my mistake that I did not take his suggestion as a written statement and I am not very upset about it. I am really frustrated with their store customer service for canceling my order without my authorization after waiting for more than 5months.

Once we agreed to purchase a new bedroom, the hunt was on! I shopped Bob’s discount furniture, Weekends Only and Value City. The quality of what I found was disappointing. We wanted a good solid bedroom. After visiting the three we went to Ashley Furniture. Their selection was much better as well as quality! We took pictures, tested the furniture and picked out several that we liked. We tried again at another retailer and ended up back at Ashley. My husband and I decided on one set and made the purchase! I’m excited! My 26 year old daughter is younger than the bedroom set we currently have. We’re extremely happy with the purchase and the sale price. My wife an I purchased a sofa from here about a month ago. When the delivery driver showed up my wife asked him to put on a mask because we are elderly and have not visited with even our own family members in over a year. The man refused, cursed at my wife, and then dropped our new sofa cushions in the snow. Once looking over our new sofa we noticed a snag and some other issues that we wanted fixed as we have a warranty on the furniture and paid a good amount of money for it. We have been in contact with the someone who has told us for three weeks that an associate would be calling us to set up a service appointment and still no one has called. They even told us they would be calling the next day and still nothing. We will not be purchasing from Ashley ever again after this horrible experience and now we feel stuck with a sofa that was not worth what we paid for it. Their customer service is horrible.

Beautiful furniture & a great staff but you can find most everything at a much cheaper cost with quility online.

If you can wait nine to 12 months for your furniture, then order from Ashley. From the beginning, each time or month I have been misinformed it will be delivered and have removed my old living room furniture (one time to the curb.) We have to make arrangements to have our furniture taken away by haulers. On top of that, we have a newborn baby. When I call, I get the same old story - "mam, it will be another month. It says in your contract that your estimated time of arrival is an estimate. If you decide you do not want it prior to our delivery, you will be charged 10% of your total invoice. You will know when we will deliver your furniture when you are notified, which will be approx. 48 hours before delivery." 6 weeks has turned into 8 months!

Very helpful, assisted me as soon as I came in the door. I got the best deals when I did purchase items with them. I got the full experience when picking out the right item and actually seeing it in person before buying it. I would definitely refer Ashley Homestore to my family and friends. Thanks again

I ordered my furniture in october of 2020 and just recieved the last of my order on 4/15/2021 I had to deal with customer service on multiple occasions out of all of the calls i only spoke with one person that was helpfull the rest of the people in the customer service department are useless. I had written a previous review and was the contacted via email by the owner I cantacted customer service and was told that the owner does not know what he or she is talking about and has no controll over anything in regards to my order. I had ordered a total of seven items and it took 5 deleveries to recieve my stuff . The lack of communication and incompetence of these people is beyond belife. I was contacted and verified one of the deleveries 4 times and the date of the deleverie was then changed because the 4 people that contacted me did not add it into the computer. I financed the furniture though them and because of my order being botched up and not being delivered on time the bank that handles their credit closed the account the bank nor ashley notifyed me of this so the last item was not delivered , I then had to go back to the store figure out what the problem was and pay for the last piece that was delivered in a box that looked as though it was run over along with missing screws. You also will want to watch your bill I was charged for the deleviry and set up of my furniture they just dropped the items that did need to be assembled and left.I thad to contact customer service and get the money refunded almost 400 dollars.

We had a wonderful experience at Ashley furniture in south county yesterday, Doris was very helpful on helping us find the perfect cabinet we have been looking for, everyone was friendly and the store had a nice selection to choose from, we would buy from there again.

My wife and I were shopping for new chairs and a couch. We stopped at Ashley Home Furniture on a recommendation from our daughter. We went in a looked around and Cindy W. asked if she could help us. She showed us several different recliners. The one we found wasn't in the color we were thinking about so Cindy looked it up and we were excited to see that they were available in a dark grey. She also said they were still available for purchase. We went ahead and looked at several different couches so replace our old one. We were about to give up and Cindy told us about the one at the front of the store and thought it might be what we were looking for. It was the perfect size, great color to coordinate with the chairs and just what we wanted. We went back to purchase the chairs and couch and the one sale had gone off. Cindy said there was a 25 percent off sale and we did even better than the sale would have given us last week! Our new furniture has been ordered with the protection plan and we got it for an additional $125 less than the week before. All the way around was a win-win!! Thanks Cindy W. and Ashley Home Store. Josh was patient with our two toddlers, we saw a few couches and as we expressed something we wanted different, each couch met more of our expectations. When we found the couch we wanted he said the soonest delivery was June, which we need much sooner! He knew right away a couch that was almost the same but wasn’t on the floor. He came back saying they could have it next month and was a similar price. Even when training a new employee our service was exceptional! Ashley furniture is always clean and inviting, Thank you!

Cindy was extremely patient when handling my requests for comparing several different sets of wall units. She was able to lookup each different collection so I could do a price comparison too. That was very helpful. She was also able to find a way to connect with me on a personal level which made my experience even better. I would recommend her to friends.

I went on the Ashley Furniture website today to order an item, and I could not find my Ashley furniture credit card. I tried to find a way on their site to get my cc number but it just wanted me to apply for a new card. This part is not the stores fault. However, I scheduled a virtual appointment for 2pm today with the Ashley Furniture location on Lemay Ferry to speak with a sales representative and complete the order with them. I did get an email response at 3:18pm for an appointment confirmation that was scheduled to start at 2pm. I have not received any calls, text, or any other emails, so I guess they do not want my business!

Had a wonderful time here. Our sales rep was Kevin. He was a pretty awesome guy laid back not pushy at all and super informative we ended up getting a new sectional that we are super excited to have delivered. Kevin did such a good job that if we had more revenue we would have bought a tempurpedic mattress the same day. Overall awesome experience. We will be back in the future.

I went there today to buy a dining room set that I really liked. I asked for a price match because it is stated in their website that they price match when it’s the same product, SKU number etc. I was very disappointed to be greeted very poorly. Ashley Furniture could not deliver what I ordered, and somehow acted as if it was my fault! I purchased an Olsberg Sectional from the Ashley Furniture showroom in South St. Louis County. Before purchasing the item, the salesperson allowed me to take home a pillow from the sectional to compare colors with existing furniture, walls, etc. The color on their showroom floor is a tan buck color. I liked the color, and purchased the item. When the sectional was delivered I noticed it was not tan at all, rather silver in color, and it didn't match my home whatsoever. I told the delivery guys the color was wrong, but when I went online to look at available colors I found there is only one color offered. Weird, huh? So I accepted delivery thinking perhaps the lighting in my home wasn't the same as the day I brought home the pillow. It bothered me immensely, so I then took one of the pillows off the sectional that was delivered and took it to the store for comparison. The color is way off!! Two salespeople were helping me, and both agree it is not the same color at all. They advised me to call/email Customer Service at their home office, and so I emailed them my complaint as well as photos the same day as delivery. I waited over seven days for a response, so I called them. They did not offer a refund, rather reselecting something else from the showroom. If I wanted something else from the showroom, I would have purchased something else. I went back to the store to talk to another manager. That is when I had the most horrible customer service experience. I spoke to Debbie, who claimed she was a manager. I brought the pillow with me and I showed her pictures of what was delivered, compared to the showroom sample. She firmly said she was NOT going to walk over to the floor sample to compare colors, she was NOT going to take both pillows outside to compare colors, and furthermore the colors looked the same to her. She must be colorblind! She spoke to me in a way that I felt like she was purposely trying to get me to lose my temper. She called another manager over, who agreed with me about the color variance. He offered a full refund or discount but advised it would have to be approved by the home office. That's when Debbie took things over again. She resent my email to customer service with a few notes of her own. She did not CC me in the email, so who knows what she told them. C/S then called me to say I could reselect, but no refund. Ashley Furniture sold me something that was not available! They should happily pick up the sectional and return my money! I do not want to reselect. What I do want is an explanation! Not once did anyone investigate the matter, and I am quite sure the same tan sectional is still on their showroom floor, waiting for the next bait and switch. This was the first and last time I will ever shop at Ashley Furniture.

We have gone to Ashley for our bedroom furniture, two different couches kitchen chairs and we’re hoping this experience would be better than the last. We ordered on October 9th. We were told a MAX of 6 weeks. While I completely understand the pandemic has pushed things back what I don’t understand is the lack of communication, the terrible customer service from the Lindbergh store manager or the fact we as of 1/12 had still not received our coffee table. We had to reach out in November to see where our furniture was which was 30 minutes on hold each time and countless times trying to use the chat to just be constantly moved around. We were then told our coffee table will not be to us until the first week of December. Ok so an extra 2 weeks with a pandemic we can handle. We take off work get our delivery confirmation and text back the date we want it to be delivered. December 5 comes and we hear NOTHING. We took off work to ensure we are home for the delivery. We call and they have ZERO record that our table will be here and it isn’t in the warehouse. They then say it’s expected December 28th. Same situation except this time we call week of and the order is delayed again. I reached out to the DSG Feedback after contacting the local manager who screamed into the phone that “SHE CANT CHANGE THE DATES ITS NOT HER PROBLEM.” Also not a single I’m sorry for your delay, NOTHING. When reaching out to DSG they apologized(finally someone did). They stated our order would be here for sure January 16. Jan 12th case come and we had not gotten a delivery confirmation. I emailed and again the order was delayed. We just cancelled. We will never come back again. The entire situation could have been solved with open communication and some customer service skills.

My salesmen were very professional and accommodating with my purchase. I will use them again for next furniture purchase. Already looking for what I will get next time. If your looking for tabletop decorations they have some amazing pieces. Well after all these months waiting for my furniture I have to change my review. January 2021 still no furniture. I tried calling so many times no one answers the phone. Left several messages. Made two trips into the store to check status. Given differ answers and times for delivery. They said 11/22 then 12/23 then I got a call saying 1/16 then a text came in I responded and asked what time on the 16th they said your not on the schedule we can do the 23rd. Well I had already taken off work for the 16th I have had such a run around I cancelled my order. So very disappointed. I purchased a new tv to go on this furniture opened a cc for Ashley and for what?? A lot of stress and no furniture. So disappointed!!

Nice people. Wasn’t able to see the upholstered bed frame I chose in person but was a good deal. Tried different beds without being pressed to purchase a higher priced mattress. Only have 4 stars because was not given a specific delivery day and it may take a month to get the mattress and bed frame delivered according to salesman.

We were looking for a dresser that had a certain style. After looking online and in other stores around the area, we found exactly what we needed at Ashley HomeStore. The service was great. All their furniture displays are tastefully done. If you are looking for fine furniture you should make Ashley’s one of your stops.

UPDATE: Ashley corrected the situation and replaced the one piece with a brand new section. Now the sofa matches and we are pleased. We ordered a 3 piece reclining sofa from Ashley HomeStore on June 7 and it got delivered July 7. After delivery, we noticed that the back of one pieces had a loose cover and that same piece made a clunking noise when closing the leg rest. It took 2 or 3 phone calls to get all of the information submitted for warranty service and an appointment. It then took 2 tries to get the service technician to show up due to COVID concerns. When we were finally able to get an appointment this week, November 11th, one of his first questions was how old was the sofa. When we said 4 months., he was instantly skeptical. He said it looked like it could have been "used" and backed it up by showing us that the one piece with the above mentioned issues did not match the other two in color, wood construction, foot rest mechanisms, the seat cushions are not in line with other 2 pieces, and the method of securing the rear fabric was completely different. We knew that we were not pleased with the construction of the furniture, but we did think that a reputable furniture store would send us a used couch while taking our money for a new couch. The contractor has been doing furniture repairs for a long time. He doesn't work for Ashley, but he assured us that his report to Ashley would have all of the above mentioned details. Unfortunately, due to the couch looking used and the pieces not matching, there was no way to adequately repair the couch and so we are left with a very costly life lesson. It appears that our only recourse is to wait for Ashely to respond to the contractor's report, which they have not done. At this point, we want the new couch that we paid for with all of the pieces being manufactured at the same time and matching, or we would like Ashley to refund our money and come and get the couch and we will look to a furniture store that does not dupe it's patrons.

Worst service ever! Ashley has scheduled delivery with us four times and have not shown up. They refuse to fix the problem. They have taken our money, but not given us our furniture. They were supposed to be here this morning at 6:45 a.m. They called me five times yesterday to confirm and now tell us that we are not on their delivery schedule. My first and last time purchasing from them!

We’ve shopped here for years, and you see the same sales person very often, here’s probably why. Our salesman was very polite, well dressed, well mannered, and very helpful. The other staff members were very rude to him with there remarks, actions, and the manner in which they responded to him in front of us. Turns out he was new, just learning how to do his job. I’ll say he did an awsome job and we were very pleased with his help, considering how his coworkers were treating him in front of customers.

We were looking for a bed and decided to try Ashley since a family member got theirs from there and had a great experience. We also had a great experience. Beds are expensive and it can be very confusing deciding what to get when you don’t have much knowledge. They have trained employees there to help with that information. Debbie was wonderful with us. Was not pushy. Did not sit and stare at us when we were trying the beds. She explained how your body should look when laying on a bed and where the support should be. We ended up purchasing and will have it by the end of the month! Hopefully the product and delivery will be great also.

We found a sofa, not in stock but not a horrible wait time. The sale price didn't ring up, so he adjusted that. Every store we went to pushed the add-ons and other products, so I can't fault them for that, it's just very frustrating to sit there for an extra amount of time to listen to all of that, when we said we didn't want anything else from the beginning. But that's the company, not the salesman. All in all for the price, it was worth the visit.

If you want to wait six months and have them change the date of when you’re getting your furniture several times and use covid as an excuse and give away my furniture then this is your place go anywhere but here rude staff bad customer service very long wait time

I think one star is fair. The products are nice. But, I ordered a table in September that was expected to be delivered on oct 6th which was moved to late October... then early November.. then late November.. then early December then finally the last straw (I know, I gave way too many chances) they are projecting late December. Now, had we not been expecting the table to be here for thanksgiving, our housewarming party, and Christmas, maybe we could have been more understanding. In addition to the push backs can I tell you how many times they called to let me know and explain!? ZERO. I had to call to keep checking although I was informed at the time of purchase that they would let me know of any changes in delivery. When I called them did they try and make it right? OF COURSE NOT. I will never shop there, my friends and family will never shop there and my entire network of over 3,000 people in STL will hear about it (and most likely never shop there). Thank you Ashley for making it easy to never waste my time in your store again. When the sign goes up that everything is for sale because you are going out of business I will simply smile.

Our sales rep was awesome! The Black Friday sales beat all others! We had went to a few other places after visiting Ashley so that we could compare and Ashley by far exceeded the quality and price and our sales rep was awesome! Because of pandemic all is on back order and it’s taking a little longer to get our furniture but that’s to be expected.

Ashley HomeStore was open late on Black Friday. I was met by Jordan who was professional and pleasant. I knew what I was looking for and Jordan pointed me in the right direction. His knowledge on the furniture pieces set me at ease and made it a quick and easy decision. Bought a powered loveseat and sofa, along with a dining room table with 8 chairs, and lastly a server piece that will go right behind the sofa. With that said once the deal was nearly done, and saw a couple of stools and Jordan was able to get us an incredible deal on those two additions. In my opinion Ashley HomeStore and Jordan hit it out of the park, and Ill be back.

Horrible customer service. I know 2 people who ordered furniture and have been waiting over 3 months. Each time they call , its a different delivery date, and confirmed delivery dates, were a lie. No one answers the phone when you call and once you get ahold of them, they will hang up on you. Take your business somewhere else, this place is a joke.

Don’t know about the quality of the furniture yet but the sales team at my local store was on point. Didn’t feel pressured at any given point. They let me look around for a few minutes before asking if I needed help instead of jumping on you like a used car salesman and that means a lot to me. Hopefully the rest of the experience goes as well. Will update.

People are friendly and attentive. We came in and found what we wanted pretty quickly. We worked out a deal we were happy with and were back outside relatively quickly. We haven’t had to deal with any delivery just yet so I will come back and update when the delivery has been completed. I can assure you that the last time I made a purchase at Ashley, the delivery experience was absolutely deplorable so I’m hoping this experience is better.

I am currently waiting on furniture I purchased in August. There has been no effort on their part to communicate. Every call I make has extremely long wait times. The salesperson gave me her “ cellphone “ number that is never answered and has no VM set up. Once I called a someone just lied and told me I had a delivery date for 10/31 and when I tried to verify the call wasn’t documented and it was a total lie. I am going to the store today and will have to possibly cancel this order and probably won’t have furniture by Thanksgiving. I am sooo disappointed because I have purchased from them before and had never had this kind of issue before but the reviews I’m reading to me shows a decline in customer service!!!

I ordered a leather power reclining sectional sofa in April of 2020. Amongst several customer service calls and follow ups, where the customer service reps said themselves “the previous rep you spoke with did not enter this correctly or did not put in the right request”, and getting hung up on before even speaking to someone, while on hold for 45 minutes....it’s 11/4/20 and I STILL do not have my couch fixed. The reclining sectional was delivered broken (wood frame itself cracked in half). I’ve had 2 service companies come out on their behalf, the first was terrible, and said “he couldn’t do anything further per the service request” the other was a lot more helpful, and ended up finally ordering me a brand new piece (which should have been done in the first place). I just called customer service again, on hold for 36 minutes before speaking with someone, and asked why my new piece never got delivered as promised/I confirmed via text on 10/28. Her response was “the manufacturer has a back order on that piece”, so no one was going to notify me? Now I’m told it will be delivered on 11/11, of what I have to put together myself, I guess. They charge an AWFUL lot for furniture to have customer service worse than Walmart. Glad I’ve learned my lesson with one piece of furniture. Take your money elsewhere, virtually anywhere else!

I currently have 4 orders at Ashley Furniture store on Lemay ferry that has been delayed almost three months and they cannot confirm when it is going to be delivered. They have promised delivery three times and all three times they failed to show up at my house. Every time I call no one answers and I am forced to go to the store to get an update. All sales reps that sold me product, has quit and no-one has ownership of my orders. This is the worst customer service I have ever seen in my life. This is not related to covid, it is poor management and customer service. My wife and I love shopping at Ashley and we’ve been customers for years. We tried shopping around at other stores, but Ashley always has the lowest price by over $100, and the furniture is very good quality.

Another great experience shopping at Ashley! We like the casual no pressure atmosphere, and our salesperson Reace was great - very helpful and not pushy at all. This will be our 3rd room purchase and we couldn't be more pleased. Plenty of styles and options to choose from - we had to head home and measure and wrestle back and forth on which set we wanted. There is definitely something for everyone here. It will be a little bit more of a wait this time, be we our looking forward to our new pieces.

My experience is exactly the same as the last reviewer, Nick Crouch. We spent thousands of dollars on furniture in July, and we have received a VERY small portion of our order. No one can give us estimates as to when the rest can be expected, so we are sitting in a brand new house with virtually no furniture. Our salesperson, Doris Miller, has bent over backwards trying to help us, but she is getting a runaround just like we are. Everyone is busy pointing fingers at someone else. I will NEVER patronize this retailer again, and I would highly suggest that no one else does either. I plan to ask my credit card company to reverse the charges if I don't get answers immediately.

Furniture store or professional pirates?? We ordered in JUNE! Knowing there would be a delay for COVID they anticipated we would receive furniture in September. Our date of delivery happens. We receive no communication that out furniture had not arrived. We called “customer service” multiple times, never getting a person, just a machine. When we went to the store the “manager” informed us of all the delays in the furniture business which and told us October/November would be our new delivery date. (Side note we ordered from wayfair and IKEA...no delays) I’m pretty understanding but it is very frustrating the lack of communication and effort in their part. So in short Ashley furniture has $4,000 and I have 0 furniture.

We purchased a mattress on 9/23/20 and were given a delivery date of 10/7/20 it didn’t come and then given a date of 10/14/ 20 and were notified in the morning of 10/13/20 that it wasn’t coming, and the latest date we were given is 10/20/20. We didn’t find the staff at the store or the customer service representative who we called at the 800 number to be helpful. After this experience we don’t plan to do business with them again. We have written the Corporate Office regarding this matter and will be waiting to see how they respond.

Would not recommend.. I bought a couch August 1, 2020 from here. We were very excited and the young man who helped us was great. He told us our couch would be delivered mid September and that we would get an update every 7 days on the status of our order. I never recieved any notifications. I finally called mid September to get an update. After sitting on hold for more than 40 minutes, someone told me that there was a piece on backorder and it will be the end of October before I will get my couch. I called at the beginning of October again, and after sitting on hold for more than 40 minutes again, I spoke to someone who said that I have a delivery date of October 14. We were waiting on 1 piece of the sectional. I was told I would get a call from someone October 12 to confirm and set up a time. No one ever called. My husband called Ashley Furntiture again and sat on hold for 30 minutes. He was then told that there was another delay, and there is now 5 pieces of the couch that are not available on back order (even though we had all but 1 piece when I called last). Those pieces will not be in now until November 15. Everytime we call not only do we have to wait on hold for more than 40 minutes, but they delay our order and tell us different things each time. We have already paid for the couch and delivery in full. We were told 6-8 weeks max for delivery and we are now looking at 16 weeks if it isn't pushed again. I am not happy with the delivery and the way things have been handled. I love the couch we bought, but will probably end up getting our money back since it keeps getting pushed later and later.

The hands down best furniture buying experience I have ever had. The sales rep, Von, was absolutely amazing. She was knowledgeable and quick with getting answers. She greated us quickly and allowed us to look around the showroom without being pushy. I will definitely buy from Ashley again.

Have been waiting for a comforter set for over a month, they have no tracking, no information. They don't answer the phone ever! I have called 10 times and waited on hold for over 15 times each time. Need to fix! Go to the West County store they actually will answer the phone.

My experience from sales to customer service was just awful. I purchased bedroom set in August and was given estimated delivery date of September 16th. I heard absolutely nothing so I called on Sept15th to find out it was delayed to Sept 22nd. Then I get a call sometime before the 22nd to say it will be delayed again until Sept. 29th. Then I get a bunch of text and emails saying its coming on the 22nd after all and I go out and confirm this date. Then I call on the Sept 21st and mind you every time I call it's a minimum of 30 minutes waiting to an hour on if I don't get dropped saying its coming Sept 29th again.🤦‍♂️ I call on the 28th when once again I have heard nothing from them and am told my order is delayed again till mid October. At this point I tell them to cancel my order and have been told I will not be charge restocking fee. I just called a few days later waiting again 40 minutes for a person to see why I have no credit back on my card and I am told it will take 7-14 business days to credit my order back? Really? Maybe the furniture is nice if you ever get it? 🤷‍♂️ The sales people and support sucked, didn't seem to care they were losing my business. I have had pleasant experiences with Weekends Only and Carol House in this time frame with Carol House calling to ask me how I liked what I purchased. Very disappointed.

Ashley Furniture has the worst customer service!!!!!🤬 I ordered my furniture in July, well before I moved and here I am 2 whole months later in my new house with absolutely no furniture, might I add they NEVER called and said anything!!!!! JUST HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

Ashley Furniture's customer service is terrible. I just waited on the phone for over 50 minutes to request a status update regarding replacement parts that we were told would ship in 5 business days - that was on August 19th and it is September 25th. After waiting for over 50 minutes, Bridget answered the phone and apparently couldn't hear me, so she hung up after about 10 seconds of trying to hear me...and you would think she might call back, but that didn't happen either. Very disappointing customer service.

Very disjointed ses rep. Confusing and not very knowledgeable about products. Had to get another sales rep there to help us before we placed our order and furniture is not great quality. Purchased tempurpedic mattress, adjustable base and bedroom furniture. Hopefully holds up

Don't purchase from any Ashley location. Once you make the purchase they no longer care about you. I haven't even received all of the pieces I ordered, and I would never buy from here again. Apparently all their pieces ship separately, and they do not notify you of this. The only notification I received was a text stating "your furniture order will be available for pick up on..." You would think that meant the whole order. I also called the customer service line on two separate occasions trying to ask the hours of the warehouse, and what I needed (receipt, order number. etc.) in order to pick up my furniture. Both times I sat on hold for over an hour before giving up. If they picked up their phone maybe they could have told me only one of my pieces of furniture was ready for pick up. The people at the warehouse were nice, and this wasn't their fault, but there was also no attempt to make up for this complete lack of service. You would think if you spent thousands of dollars at a place they might have their act together. This place does not in any way. I highly recommend attempting to call customer service at any furniture store before making the purchase. Make sure they are going to actually get you the info you need to receive your furniture. This place absolutely will not.

I should have read the reviews prior. I couldn’t get a person on the phone to ask a simple question before I decided to walk in the store. I even made an appointment and when I arrived nobody had been assigned to my appointment. So I picked out $3000 worth of furniture, applied for and received credit, and was told on 8/17/20 that with the covid delay I’d have it the end of September. Now it’s mid September and I’m trying to get some sort of status and I can’t get ANYONE in customer service or the store to answer the phone. I’m a planner and I’ll need to get rid of the furniture I have prior to delivery so I just need (and deserve) a status. I’ve learned to be patient with covid but that’s either made this company lazy or they truly don’t care one bit about their customers. I will not buy so much as a vase from them again.

Absolute lack of Customer Service. I would encourage the buyers to take commitments on delivery dates before you make payments. No one picks the calls including the sales team and the store. Ashley corporate Customer Service is dysfunctional.

I ordered my furniture in May. They said 6 weeks. No big deal. It should have technically been here last week but I received a text that it would be August 3red. Disappointed but I understand. They sent me a text this last Saturday saying that it is ready and can deliver next week. I was thrilled and confirmed a date. Then I get a text this morning saying now it won't deliver until after 8/20. Nobody will pick up the phone either. I'm furious and am about to cancel. I've never had this problem at other places. Update-- still waiting. Last week I was told it was ready and would deliver today. Only 1 of the 4 things showed up and when I sat on the line for 45mins waiting on customer service only to be told now the rest wouldn't be ready until 9/25 or later. No apology. I wanted to cancel and they wouldn't even let me do that over the phone. I am furious! How could my stuff be ready not 1 time but 2 times now and then all of a sudden when it was supposed to deliver it gets pushed out another month?! Unacceptable. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE.

Josh at the Saint Louis location was great. He introduced himself and let us browse without feeling pushed to buy. When we were ready he was there with the answers to the questions we had. He made the paperwork portion as painless and quick as possible. Great experience.

We were pleased with the professionalism of the sales person at Ashley. She informed us of there current sales then led us to what we where looking for. She lead us to the exact same table we had just seen at Weekends Only. Ashley’s price was higher but they met the price. Ashley provide a one year damage warranty with delivery and assembly by them. We bought the 5 year damage warranty which we get back 100% if it is not used. We mentioned we would need to get two bar stools in the future to go with the set. The sales lady showed us matching stools which we also purchased. Overall we were very pleased.

We knew exactly what we wanted when we went in the store, so the transaction was quick but the salesperson was VERY condescending. We didn't appreciate that at all. In fact, it was so noticeable, another sales associate overheard it and made a comment about it when our salesperson stepped away.

The store salesperson (Doris) was absolutely lovely, and very helpful. She did a really nice job giving us a wide variety of options and dug in to help us find what we wanted. Ashley itself however, mostly was sub par. Selection was lacking, they had very few options on the show floor, and once we did choose an option it won’t be here for 4 months (if they actually deliver on time for a change). I don’t like to leave reviews unless I really like something, but Ashley asked me to review my experience. My review is Doris was terrific, Ashley could do better.

If I could give less than 1 star I would. I ordered a sectional and ottoman almost 2 months ago and still do not have my product nor any idea when I will actually receive it. We were first lied to by our salesperson Jordan Sugrue about the process and told we would recieve text alerts every 10 days updating us on the shipping status which we never did, he also told me he has nothing to do with delivery and didn't know anything and it was all out of his hands. I also asked for a manager and he laughed. The only silver lining is my potential dealings with a manager named Ken who was very nice and has said he was going to escalate and set some of the pieces to be deliverednext week, though the other piece won't be delivered til hopefully september. I have now spoken to at least 5 different people and told 5 completely different things so here's hoping this manager can actually get us our furniture but doubtful we'll ever return to this store after so many bad encounters with the service reps who apparently don't have any real information on what is actually in the warehouse and in fact one lady today told me they probably had no idea and essentially lied to me...wow

Well, I visited the store today, Aug. 8, 2020. The salesman was very patient with me, as I took my time to find what I was looking for. He was not pushy, just made comparative suggestions. The price was fair, and the transaction went smoothly. We shall see if, in 2 weeks, I get my loveseat.

I ordered furniture on May 8 and was told it would delivered May 20. I received a text on May 18 informing me that my furniture couldn't be delivered until June 6. I had taken a contract in Chicago over that time, so I rescheduled the delivery for July 10. On June 26, I was text that the delivery date was changed to July 17. On July 3 I was text a delivery confirmation for July 17. On July 8, I received a text stating that due to COVID my delivery was postponed to Aug 20. On July 27, I was text delivery date options of July 31, Aug 1, or Aug 4, all of which I was working. I called and was told I could only postpone the delivery 7 days, so Aug 5, which was also impossible for me. They ended up scheduling for Aug 12, though I needed Sept 1 at this point for a move I had already postponed because of this. When I called to reschedule again, I was told that my phone call never happened and an Aug 12 was never scheduled. My delivery would have to be after Aug 21. I spent a total of 70 minutes on 2 different phone calls to be hung up on and then told that customer service did not care and couldn't really help me. In total EVERY customer service call was at least 20 minutes on hold to talk to someone, who was often rude and unhelpful. Come to find out the production of the furniture I had purchased May 8 had been halted and was not going to be produced again until November 2020. I was told orders before July 4 would be delivered, but was never able to get a firm date and ended up cancelling the whole order on August 11. This had to be done in person at the store. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM ASHLEY EVER. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE OUT THERE, EVEN BEFORE COVID.

Today I went into the store with a very specific look of furniture I wanted and my sales associate helped me find exactly what I asked for. I didn't feel any pressure at all! He was amazing and responsive. I ended my visit with an order for all new furniture and I cannot wait until I see my pieces in my house! Thank you for a great experience!!
