Great service and love the couch!

Shelby was great and worked extremely well with all of our wants on our couch!

My husband and I ordered a couch which we were told would be there 5-6 weeks. We waited 5 weeks, were told that the couch was going to arrive on time. Week 6 came and nothing. My husband called just to be told a part of the couch we already paid for was discontinued. We never got a call or update on our order and the sales rep knew we were needing the couch ASAP. Will not be ordering or buying from them again. Very disappointed.

I drove 200 miles and they closed the doors as soon as I got there ...I was going to spend at least $5000 dollars.now taking my business to somewhere that wants business. The north Platte store needs to go out of business...never again will I shop at Ashley stores and I'll speak to all my friends and family how bad they are.at american wheelhouse furniture it's better quality and cheaper...do not shop at this store.

Great people to deal with

I got a huge sectional get delivered today and Victor and Ryan were the ones to deliver it. They did such a great job bringing in all the pieces and putting it together! They even played with my dog!

I'd give 10 stars if I could. Jennifer and Shelby are the bees- knees. Buy a purple mattress here. Shop local.

Overall my experience buying a new living room set was very pleasant and Enjoyable. The last couple weeks I have been to three different furniture stores, and found the service at Ashley was superior as well as the quality of furniture and offerings they had in the store. I purchased a king mattress (store brand) in october. I was told I had to but the base and cover in case it wasn't comfortable I went in January cause mattress was too soft. Was told it was going to cost me almost the same as what id already paid on the first mattress. Sales lady kept trying get me to get a card through them so I'd only pay so much per month. I refused this option at least 3 times. I feel like I was duped when I bought the mattrees.

I ended up purchasing a sofa/loveseat/ottoman that I had my eye on due to NYE sales as well, and she was amazing during the whole process making it easy and smooth!

Cole (Schultz) and Brady delivered my sofa, loveseat, and coffee table today and WOW. I knew I’d love the pieces since I picked them out, but I’d been worried about actually getting them into my apartment…on the second floor…with no elevator… 😬 So not only did these gentlemen have three pieces to deliver, they had to bring them one by one down a narrow hallway, turn a corner, go UP a flight of stairs, turn a narrower corner and into my apartment. Did I mention these pieces are huge? Well, thanks to Cole and Brady, I didn’t need to worry one bit! I honestly am amazed at how easily and quickly they made the whole process go. Oh!! AND they got my current sofa out of the apartment just as easily, so….out the apartment door, around a narrow corner, DOWN a flight of stairs, around that other corner, and down the narrow hallway to their truck. So if you have a furniture delivery from Cole Schultz or Brady, rest assured you and your pieces are in excellent hands. Professional, kind, humorous, positive - these guys are real gems!!!

Just a heads up people. Don't go to Ashley home furniture in North Platte Nebraska. We ordered furniture from them back in the first week of March this year. Told they had a 12 week back order on the furniture set we picked out. The 12 weeks came and no furniture. I called them and was told we were te receive the furniture in 2 to 3 weeks. That didn't happen so I called again and just like today I was told we were put off for another month. Today I called and was told we were out until the last part of July or the first part of August. So what did I do? I canceled my order and my credit card with them. If they feel they can sale furniture but not deliver they won't be getting any of my business. GOOD-BY ASHLEY HOME FURNITURE STORE...

We purchased our Tempur-Pedic bed several month ago wherein we had 365 days to replace it. Today Valerie assisted me in exchanging only one side for a softer mattress. She was wonderful and extremely knowledgeable with this brand of bed. Sure wish she would have been employed when we bought the bed as she would have informed us that one side could be soft and the other firm and we would have saved the hassle for the store and us on needing to exchange. Thanks Valerie for all your patience and assistance.

Upon entering we inquired about delivery over 100 miles away. Sales associate informed us that they don't deliver that far and we would have to pick up. We said we would like delivery and set up so would probably have to find an ashley closer, which is still over 100 miles away. After that we looked around and she never once asked if we needed help or even acknowledged us the rest of the time we were in store. You still represent Ashley and the store could've offered to provide information on the furniture we liked.

Well Valery is quite helpful and willing to help with all your needs as stated in previous reviews, however that's where it stops. Once you purchase your furniture (which they don't tell you is ordered) that's the end. You are not contacted any further about the status of your order unless you bother them weekly about where it's at. Two months and still no furniture! Will never buy from Ashley HomeStore again!!!

Went to North Platte to look at a couch. Found one we fell in love with. Paid for it and now we wait and wait and wait for it to come I . Called every week was told one we would have is December 12 called to confirm it and was told I don’t show it for that date. Wait and wait and wait some more I guess. Learn from our mistake don’t buy furniture from Ashley Home Store in North Platte Nebraska. You will be waiting along time. I can’t give it a zero but in my book it is. Still waiting.

I totally recommend Ashley Furniture in North Platte. And ask for Valery she is amazing! I needed a couch and she showed us a few that fit our needs perfectly. Then she helped us get the best deal possible. I had my 2 teenage boys along and she really made them apart of the process! Valery made our experience smooth and enjoyable.

If I could leave zero stars I would. We bought a couch in July and we’re given the impression we were taking it home that day. The sales lady gave us a price and said “as is today” asked about pick up or delivery and we stated we would just come back and pick it up. We were not told that it was being ordered until after they took the payment and told us there were no refunds and that it would be 3-12 weeks. Although irritated, we said okay and signed the for the wait. Not once during our wait were we ever contacted with any updates on the couch. The only updates we got were those we specifically called about. 14 weeks after purchasing, we went into the store and were told that it was on track. Interesting, because on track would have meant at latest it would have arrived 2 weeks ago. We were given a new arrival date and told that it was on the truck. That date was then pushed back 3 more times before we finally canceled the order. During our wait, I contacted the store several times, and twice had asked to speak with a manager. Both times I was told they were busy and would call me back. Neither time did I receive a call back. After canceling our order and asking for a refund we were told since half was paid cash it would have to be a check by mail. They stated that it would go out that day (Monday) and we would have it by the middle of the week. I called 10 days later after never receiving it, and was told “yeah we’re finding that mail is taking longer but it will get there.” After stating that I have been receiving all of our other mail, it was quite interesting that we weren’t receiving this, she said “well we can’t track the mail.” I again asked to speak with a manager. I was told he was busy but they would have him call me right back. I stated that I have already been told that and never receive a call back. She then gave “her word” that they would. It has been 4 days and there is still no check or call back. Tomorrow the check we were supposed to have received in a few days will be on its 14th day in the mail.

We recently were shopping for a new mattress. We were very picky and were in numerous times to make the decision. Through it all Jean, our sales person, was very helpful and super patient. We shopped around and Ashley also had the lowest price online or in town. Bill, the manager, was also terrific through the process. They bent over backwards to get us the best price and to get the deal done. What a great team! Fast forward to a few weeks later, and we got a call that we had won a promotion and Ashley HomeStore was paying for the mattress!!! Great people, great selection, and great prices!
