I ordered a sectional from Ashley Furniture in Henderson on 6/27/22. The order was supposed to be delivered in 6 weeks but wasn’t delivered until almost 9 weeks (after multiple calls). My husband accepted the delivery but the sectional we received was entirely entirely different than the one we ordered in store. My husband works till late in the evening and I am busy with school. Calling them doesn’t help as you are placed on hold for hours. My husband also didn’t want to wait another 8 weeks but I was not happy because it was not what I wanted nor ordered. We finally went there in person to talk to them (it’s been a week) to tell them that these are different couches and they told me that their policy is 3 days and only for damage/defective items. The item was neither damaged nor defective but we received something other than what we ordered. The 3 day window was in the fine print but we didn’t read that nor did anyone accuse us verbally of a 3 day window. We talked to the office manager Alicia and the store manager Sabrina but they said they can’t do anything. Initially, they kept insisting that the incorrect sectional was, in fact, what we had ordered in the first place. Then they agreed the wrong sectional was sent to us. After they noticed the three day window was up, they kept referring to that. I am making payments for something I did not order and I am stuck with it. As we were about to leave, the office manager Alicia and store manager Sabrina started laughing loudly at something. Could’ve been anything, but obviously I didn’t find anything amusing in our interaction. I am just angry because I am spending my hard earned money on this couch every month but its not even what I wanted. They said we can try calling corporate but we know nothing will happen. This was the Mall ring circle location near Galleria mall. Just wanted to vent and let everyone know about it. I will never shop from there as they are not honorable. It was a bait and switch. I am attaching the pictures in store and the one on their tablet that they showed us versus what they gave us. The quality and design are subpar to the one we liked. Be careful of where you spend your money and just because it’s a big name-brand store doesn’t mean they are honorable with keeping their word. I just wanted to spread the word.

I was lied to about delivery details and a couple other things. They assured in store that it was a miscommunication and that my wife and I misheard them or heard this from another store. Talked to someone over the phone from corporate after delivery they said it is a recurring situation with this location and deliveries. Love my mattress but will go around the corner to Walker Furniture to pick up new bed set and mattress for my parents this weekend.

My experience doing the sale was fantastic, after the sale was completed is where the disappointment came. The bed was delivered with one the short legs for the slack to hold the up missing also a missing screw, call the store only to be on hold for more than 30 minutes with no resolution. It’s a furniture store you have to have extras for situations like this. Bad customer service, leaving me to feel that now the sale is done no need my concerns do not matter
