Dear Ashley Furniture Executive Team, I am writing to formally escalate what has been the most frustrating and disappointing customer service experience I have encountered in all my years of purchasing furniture. This issue began when the salesperson incorrectly created our order, which caused problems from the start. We were later informed that our dining table and chair set was available for pickup, so we paid a delivery service to retrieve it. However, when the delivery service arrived, Ashley staff stated that they could not locate the order in the system. Later, we were told the item was in fact available and that they were unsure why it could not be found that day. We returned to the store to resolve the situation and spoke with management. After acknowledging the errors, management apologized and offered complimentary delivery and setup, scheduling the delivery for Wednesday between 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM. Because of this appointment, I took a day off work. Unfortunately, the delivery never arrived. We were then told that we supposedly failed to confirm a delivery text message, which is inaccurate because we did in fact respond “YES.” Since then, I have spoken with customer care twice and the furniture distribution team, yet I have been unable to reach anyone in the United States who could properly resolve the situation. As of today, we are still without the table and chair set that we were initially supposed to pick up last week and then receive via delivery today. To make matters worse, during one of my calls with customer service today, I informed the representative that I would be recording the conversation. For over 28 minutes, the representative remained on the line but refused to provide service or respond. I repeatedly asked if they were still there and could clearly hear people speaking in the background, yet no one responded. Eventually the representative spoke and claimed that I had been placed on hold, which was simply not accurate, as the line remained open the entire time. The only solution now being offered is to schedule delivery next week, which would require me to take another day off work, resulting in additional lost income and vacation time just to receive furniture that should have already been delivered. This entire experience has been unprofessional, stressful, and completely unacceptable. The breakdown across your sales, inventory, delivery coordination, and customer service processes is evident. At this point, the situation has become so frustrating that it has genuinely disturbed my peace as a customer. I would appreciate immediate assistance from someone within Ashley Furniture who has the authority to resolve this matter promptly and ensure that the furniture we purchased is delivered without requiring further inconvenience on our part. Ashley Furniture should seriously reevaluate how order accuracy, inventory systems, delivery communication, and customer support are handled. No customer should have to go through this just to receive furniture they have already paid for. Sincerely, Jocelyn Heywas

We were shopping for 2 recliners, and had been to a number of different stores around the valley. I think what helped us decide the most was Bruce McClellan. Bruce was very patient and a non pushy salesperson who worked with us to be very competitive with the other stores. When we negotiated with him after being to the many stores around the valley to get what we wanted, he got his general manager helping us further. As long as shipping and delivery holds to the high standards Bruce set, we will soon have two new recliners in our house. Today Feb. 19th our delivery came. A third party company delivered for Ashley. Luis, the lead of a 2 man crew was professional, very pleasant and conversational. Our recliners were in good shape when delivered and set up for us.
