We bought our new sofa from Ashley Furniture about two weeks ago. The purchasing process was easy and the young man who helped us - Juan - was attentive but not pushy. He showed us quite a few options until we found what we wanted. Check out was also easy and the delivery schedule was discussed. And as far as delivery is concerned, Ashley’s communication was simply outstanding. Every step of the way, we knew what was happening. Today we were notified where in line we were and we could see where the truck was with an ETA. When the truck got here, they set it up efficiently and were on their way in a matter of minutes. We couldn’t be happier with the process and our new couch. Excellent experience!

My husband and I went to Ashley today to purchase some dining chairs. We have shopped at Ashley previously, but this was our first experience with Austin. He greeted us right away and was so efficient with getting us to where we needed to be within the store. He was kind, professional, and gave us some space to figure out what set worked best. We found our set pretty quickly and Austin made the process so streamlined and easy to finish. We didn’t feel awkward, pushed into anything additional/unnecessary, and secured our confidence with returning to Ashley for any future purchases. Thank you so much, Austin! We will touch base with you when we need to back for another new piece of furniture.

I had a very disappointing experience with Ashley’s HomeStore in Reno, NV. I placed my order and paid for a specific delivery date (Saturday, January 10). I also took a day off work to be home and receive the sofa. However, I was notified late on Friday that the delivery would be delayed until the following week. When I contacted customer service, I was told there was nothing they could do and that no refund of the delivery fee was possible, even though the delivery service I paid for was not provided as agreed. I understand delays can happen, but last-minute notice and refusing to refund a paid delivery fee is unacceptable. This caused unnecessary inconvenience and lost time from work. I hope management reviews how delivery issues and customer concerns are handled, especially when customers pay extra for a guaranteed delivery date.

Doesn’t matter what part of the country I’m in, I’ve always had problems with Ashley furniture. This time we waited a month on a couch that we put a full payment down on and we knew there would be a wait on it. We had them double check it was not discontinued and they went back to check and assured us it was “definitely not discontinued.” A month later they refunded a partial amount of what we paid into my account with NO communication, I didn’t even know where it was from. Someone there caught the mistake and called me days later to say they discontinued the couch and gave me a partial refund for SOME of the pieces because they could still send PART of the couch…. I asked for a full refund and I’m not taking another chance on Ashley Furniture again.

I purchased a Larce sectional in November. The good: -The sectional is beautiful, comfortable, and high quality. -My sales associate (Gabe) was friendly, helpful, and competent. -The delivery was efficient and professional. The bad: -The manager had to get involved in order to finalize the purchase. It felt like buying a car and this step was unnecessary. -There was a feeling of a bait and switch when the price they quoted was different from what I had found online. I had to show them the online price in order to get it at that price. -The showroom was dirty and a lot of the furniture had stains on it. It was off-putting to spend a lot of money on a sectional when the one in the store looked so bad. Yes, it’s a busy store! But have regularly scheduled upholstery cleaning so your product looks worth buying. Overall, I love my furniture and would buy it again. Just be aware of the good and the bad.

Update: emailed them 6 days ago and have yet to receive any kind of response. HIGHLY deceptive, be aware! We purchased an oversize recliner through the store. They did not have it in the store to see so they ordered it through their website for us. It was finally delivered a month later, yesterday. We called today because it is not comfortable, the leg rest doesn't pop open as it should, and just not happy with it overall. We called to setup a return and the person we spoke with told us that they do not accept returns on store orders, but if we woukd have ordered it online then they could do a return. The agent should have told us all of this when we purchased this chair. So basically because they ordered it online and we did not, they are refusing to take a return. Ive never heard of such BS in my life. If you buy something you cant see in store and its an uncomfortable, not properly functioning item they dont care at all. Going to take this further due to the circumstances if the store manager does not give us a full refund on this. The guy on the phone stated that the o ly thing they could do is pass it up to the upper management and IF they approve a "return" on the item we can go pick out different furniture in store and they will pick this up, but only if they agree to approve it. This was the only thing we were shopping for and the only oversize recliner they carried, so we have absolutely no use for anything else there. Not to mention after all of this bs why would we want to give this place our business, and I suggest you think twice before going here also.

No real complaints about furniture or sales floor help. Furniture is great, especially for the price, and the staff is super helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, won’t be going back because their delivery guy, the “Machete” lookalike, is rude and resentful as hell and makes the whole delivery process painful, and there is no choice but to deliver, unable to pick up yourself. After the second event, realized was gonna keep happening and just not worth inexpensive quality furniture.
