The first time we went we had a bad experience with customer service, we were not satisfied with it but we returned for the second time and even though we bought things for my room they did not give us good service. I didn't plan to come back again and I went for the third time and it's still the same terrible customer service, they should have more friendly people, just that, they should be kinder and have more empathy to receive the customer, I don't know if it was because my mom doesn't speak English and I translated for her but what bothers you? I translated everything for her, not them. Of course I will never return, all three times we had a bad experience.
David was amazing! Had To come in and change my order due to my apartment being smaller and he showed me other options just to make sure I was extremely happy with my new place and furniture! Super easy and helpful here!

Came in on a whim looking to replace a 2 year old sectional that just did not work out as well as I had hoped. Nick immediately took me to the sectional I had been eyeballing on line and very professionally explained the Ashley difference when it came to servicing the client post sale, especially with any coverage issues. We made the deal happen and I was on my way. Lo and behold once getting home and taping out the area (yeah...I'm that guy) I determined I wanted to mirror image the configuration I ordered. Worrying all night that this would be a huge fiasco, I walked into the store the following morning with doubt weighing heavily on my mind. Nope, one of the managers (pretty sure it was David, I failed to get his name again as my brain was mush) handled MY goof up expeditiously without a shred of frustration during the process. Yesterday's original transaction was great, today solidified that Ashley in Reno is there for the client (the client is NOT always right) and further cemented the fact I made the right choice. Shop with confidence at this location!

I came in to get a mattress and was helped right away. They had a variety of options in my price range. Nick and David helped me and made the process really easy for me. Gave me pointers on what is more beneficial for my sleeping type. The whole process was very great from the moment I walked in. I ended up getting a mattress and they even suggested pillows and covers to make sure my mattress stays in good condition. Definitely recommend going here for furniture. Not only do they have good stuff but they also have good deals.

We purchased a beautiful sectional that due to our own miscalculations, didn't fit correctly in the room. Fortunately, store manager, David was able to switch out the two end pieces so that the long piece didn't cut into the middle of our fire place.It's a huge relief for us, looks beautiful, and is so comfortable!!!
Horrible service from their delivery people, and the sales person we worked with lied to us. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

My mom & I were shopping for a recliner & AJ really went the distance to find exactly what we wanted. We were happy with his service to us. We ended up buying 2 recliners.
My husband and I came in looking for a sectional couch set and this was the first store we went into to gather information. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by Andy and the layout of the store was explained to us. Andy showed us how to read and interpret the specifications sheets for every living room display. We were able to go around the store on our own, but Andy would check-in with us from time to time. We went to a few other furniture stores in Reno, but we either received no service or the furniture was way out of our budget. Ashley Home Furnishings was on budget and provided us the guest experience that we appreciate. We came back to Ashley Home Furnishings to make our purchase for the perfect sectional and ottoman for our needs. Andy wasn’t there, but another gentleman (sorry for not remembering his name) was able to complete the order with ease. He made sure that we understood the entire process and gave us all of our options before completing the sale. He also assured us that Andy would receive the credit towards assisting us with the purchase. All-in-all, it was a wonderful experience and we will recommend others to go to Ashley’s for any new furniture.
We came to this store because of the good reviews that we researched. Well, our experience thus far has not been great. Our deliveries are partial, the beds in the store is NOT the same as delivered! We have a loveseat that arrived two weeks ago, but the loveseat still hasn't arrived. We have a bed that doesn't adjustable platform, but it was together in the warehouse. We can't get answers, whenever they do answer the phone. The salesman and manager gave us their number, but never answers the phone when we attempt to call them. Then we have an upcoming payment that's due, and haven't even received all of what we purchased! Terrible way of doing business Ashley store. To think that we were searching for more items from this store is illogical. Lessoned learned!
AJ is a true & excellent rep for Ashley. He not only is very knowledgeable, but also a pleasant person. He guided me thru all the paper work that was required, as well as answering any questions I had. All in all, my Ashley visit was very smooth.
This store is a nightmare. I’ve already had one bad experience but gave it another chance and they’re still the worst. Delivery was scheduled and they moved it without notifying me. Then they had my order shipped to the store and said I was in charge of figuring out how to pick it up. I said multiple times that I don’t have a trailer and to keep the next delivery date…They said they’d look into it but now I can’t get a hold of anyone. They never answer the phone— I’ve been calling repeatedly for 6 days. Funny how they take your money but don’t actually deliver the product. Should have never gave them a second chance

This place has terrible customer service . Bought a rug in store and 3 weeks later it still did not ship . Kept following up , it was sent to wrong address . When they finally did give us a new ship date they cancled it and pushed it back two weeks . We still have not received the rug ... Do not shop here
Have been calling the Reno store for two days, a total of 15 calls and letting the phone ring until it stops on it own. NO ANSWER. I strongly question Ashley’s commitment to customer service.
I bough several pieces from them, the dinning room chairs and bench fall apart and Ashley says that swiveling is normal. My family and guest have fallen from the chairs several instances and this is normal for them. Save some time and money and get your furnitures somewhere else, my warranty does not cover any of this damages why idk, trash furniture that’s what it is. Edit: Furniture is not covered my the manufacturer warranty even though the chairs don’t work and people have fallen, never buy furniture from here
Andy was a great help, showed where recliners were, how the pricing was, let me look without following me around, explained the 5 year plan, delivery, etc. He was easy going, very professional. I am happy with purchase!
Went into the store looking for a new recliner. Found one within 15 minutes that was on sale. Did paperwork with Linda and out of store. Great experience.
They didn’t answer their phones and I was told the store had what I needed on the online chat. So I drove from truckee to pick it up Unfortunately they only deliver and count meet urgent need for replacement for an incoming guest. I would have bought a show room model at that point. Not really impressed with the customer service. Just understand this is more a showroom and sakes center
Warning. The furniture smells like a toxic soup of chemicals...good luck getting a response from the local store. Their movers put a stain in my carpet, said they would cover the cost to clean it, but after I paid over $200 to get it cleaned, they are ghosting me now. I emailed, texted and called asking for a refund and to return the furniture, as it was causing serious reactions like sore through, eyes and headaches, but no one would get back to me. Very dissapointed in my investment.

Made a purchase in store with an associate for over 5 thousand dollars. Scheduled my items for delivery about a week later. When my items arrived, I noticed the accent cabinent that I paid over a thousand dollars for was damaged. I immediately reported it to Ashley and was met with an offer for an even exchange. A couple weeks later, I recieved the replacement which was in even worse condition than my original cabinet so I refused the delivery. We made another order for an even exchange and same story. The delivery men informed me these cabinents come pre built and so they will probably all be the exact same. After 4 attempted cabinent deliveries and me changing my work schedule to be available on random days, I had enough. I reached out to the store as well as the sales associate who assisted me and requested a credit to keep the item damaged. It took WEEKS to get an answer. I then recieved a voicemail offering a puny $150 on a cabinent 9 times that price! I have now been calling back for weeks and weeks to discuss this offer further and see if we can come to a better agreement but the store either does not answer or when they do - managment/those who can assist are never available. I'm requesting Ashley contact me and provide a credit of atleast $350. I believe this is reasonable to keep a damaged item that is half it's value now. Also reasonable as I spent over $5k!! Otherwise Ashely will have to take the item back and (hopefully) resell it at an even bigger discount than this. I do not like a single other accent cabinent that Ashley furniture is offering so a credit or a return is the only options for me.
Great experience. Jerry our sales associate was wonderful, helpful and not pushy. She stayed around for questions but didn't hover making you feel uncomfortable or rushed. We had a great experience and will shop again there for our next home furnishings and ask for Jerry.
Raja was incredibly helpful. I got exactly what I was looking for and got out the door. I will be back.

Had a very poor experience purchasing a bed frame and mattress from this store. We worked with the salesman named Raja (on the receipt his name is Karan). We were pretty clear in our requirement for a FIRM mattress. We sampled 7 different FIRM mattresses before deciding on one. The bed frame and mattress were delivered Feb 3rd. The delivery crew did a shoddy job assembling the frame. One of the legs is crooked and the headboard feels loose and creaks like hell when you put any kind of weight on it. We noticed the mattress felt soft but attributed it to adding the pillowtop option. A month goes by, we had a baby, spent a lot of time in the hospital so not much time sleeping on the bed. But we notice our backs are killing us so we go back to the store and analyzing the receipt codes, we realize Raja sold us the SOFT setting on the mattress, the exact opposite of what we wanted. I tried to call him because he provided a personal line, left a message, never got an answer back. Went back to the store and he seemed to avert his eyes and pretend not to remember us. We had to go into the store to talk to a human being because their customer service line is absolute garbage and will keep looping you through different menu options and eventually hang up on you. The customer service representative was nice enough and created a case number for us but we were told we needed managerial approval. It's now been over two months of waiting for this approval. We have checked in over and over again only to be told this manager is "hard to get a hold of" We are having to accept that we wasted 1500 dollars on a mattress that we didn't want. Ashley's has taken no accountability for their actions and doesn't seem to stand behind their products. We should have gone to another store with better return/exchange policies. Hopefully you don't make the same mistake. Other places let you try out your mattress for 100 days, Do that instead.

Pleasantly surprised. Salesperson were not pushy at all. We worked with Sean and he was very kind and patient. We found exactly what we needed and the ordering and payment process was seamless and easy.

Not satisfied with the service, it was supposed to be deliver on 4/25, they reschedule 5/2 due not having the furniture in warehouse, they came 5/9 and called the day before saying everything was fine. Came to my house missing furniture and when they set the bedroom frame I told them it didn't look right, told me to call costumer service which I did and they weren't helpful, told me on the phone there was nothing that they can do because I bought it in store, when turning to the technician they have left without notice, I'm not sure what to, is a really unpleasant experience they lied and make an awful installment and no one seems to help. I hope you don't have to live the experience that I'm going through
Chris did an amazing job. Talk about knowing your craft! He explained everything so well and in full detail. I feel that he really made our visit an actual EXPERIENCE! Purchasing a new mattress felt so easy and we were able to make an informed and confident choice with his help. He was very personable and made trying every mattress comfortable! Do not use this store they don’t call you back or care to get your issue resolved. I purchased a couch in march was told it would be delivered in April paid extra for delivery since I’m in a rural area got a call the night before delivery saying couch was damaged and wouldn’t be delivered to call Reno store. It’s now May and I still don’t have a couch the store doesn’t call you back when they say and doesn’t care cause they already have your money.
I purchased a bed from Ashley. I really disappointed with the purchase. I called there technician came out measured the bed it doesn’t qualify for replacement. The bed was not even 30 days old and it’s concave in the middle. There is a 1/2 inch dish in the middle. The customer service representative is rude and condescending. Talks down to you and in circles. I will not be buying anything from Ashley Furniture again. Plus I will be sharing my experience with anyone that will listen. Completely dissatisfied with Ashley Furniture. Today is 5-8-24 Still no call for the store manager. I asked the customer service representative to have the manager call me to discuss my issue. There is no customer service after the sale.

No thanks. Edited: The Thanks for your feedback response and request to email customer service is for optics only. FYI, I emailed, no response. A missed opportunity to keep a customer. Ashley's wont help after 72 hours, Good Quality Bed and Furniture Set, Part of the set, the dresser is white, the rest is light gray, it was a mistake, they were all supposed to match, the dresser doesn't match the night stands, bed or larger dresser, customer service wouldn't allow us to swap dresser to match the set it as after 72 hours and because we didn't buy their protection plan. I'm color blind and didn't notice at delivery, delivery team didn't say anything. This was reported a week later which is too late. Next time I will go to Costco.
Literally, everything you want from this store can be found online for half the price. Same exact item! They are just middle manning. Save yourself some money and look online. Found the lindyn couch we bought through ashley for 3600, online for 1900.. same couch.

They delivered a damaged sofa so I requested a replacement sofa. I just received email they are mailing me a replacement part - so I paid a lot of money for a refurbished sofa! The customer service line is a complete joke all you get is the runaround.

Purchased a couch and recliner on 12/31/23. Today's date is 2/29/24 I had a delivery date of 2/8/24 but the order for delivery wasn't complete. It was missing the recliner which was still on backorder. I didn't want a partial delivery in case the recliner doesn't come through. I have a new delivery date of 3/16/24 I'm doubtful that order will be complete either. Customer service is terrible You can't get anyone on the phone. You have to drive there to get anything accomplished. Why does it take so long to get an order delivered? Either they have it or they dont. I found the same exact couch and recliner elsewhere for 800 dollars cheaper than I spent with Ashley and they could deliver in 5 days. I would like to update my feedback of Ashley Funiture. The last date I mentioned of 3/16/25 also didn't see a delivery of my furniture. At this point I went to Ashley customer service and asked them if I was ever going to see my furniture. I was given yet another delivery date of 4/3/24. I also told them I wouldn't accept the delivery if it wasn't complete and included the rocker recliner. I wasn't mad, what's the worst that could happen? I'd get my money back after waiting 4 months and 4 delivery date changes. Two days before my delivery I went back to customer service to ask if I was actually going to see my furniture. I was assured I would. I think I was the first delivery of the day. After 4 months and three days I finally had my furniture. The delivery guys were great. At no point during this whole ordeal did I get angry or threaten to cancel my order. I was patient and nice to them and for that I got 150 dollars refunded for my trouble. I love my new furniture. It's perfect I couldn't be happier. Its finally over. No more waiting. Thank you Ashley for the long awaited furniture. I have upgraded from 1 star to 3 stars.
This is the worst customer service I have EVER experienced. They take your $ then NEVER answer their phone. I have been hung up on 3 times today trying to reach ANYONE regarding my delivery tomorrow. It just rings and rings then hangs up. They were supposed to contact me with a time...no call, no notice. NO time! But they have my $. I am forced to now drive across town to this store and I will cancel the delivery all together.

We picked out a sofa that we loved during the Presidents’ Day weekend. We then went home to compare prices online. Ashley Home Store in Reno beat all online prices, so we called our salesman and ordered it through him. It was delivered in 5 days. Delivery was on time and easy. We had a very good experience with the purchase.

Terrible customer service! I was delivered the wrong furniture. Told the delivery driver it was wrong yet they left it and would not return it. 5 days later I can not get a response from anyone and they refuse to put me in contact with management. There is still no plan to get the issue fixed and I have no couch and the wrong Furniture still in the boxes in my garage.
We were met at the door by Anders and asked if we needed help. We told him we were looking for some bar stools. He took us over to that section of the store and we found exactly what we were looking for. Anders was friendly , very helpful and we are very satisfied by the purchase.

The delivery sucks they change me the date 4 times i had to ask for 2 days off 2 times at my work for nothing when i went to the store to ask i saw an other person with the same problem at the end they end maked delivery 4 weeks late

We had a great shopping experience at this store and especially with Teri who went over and above to help us with our purchase. We went to many (10+) other furniture stores along the way and came back to and purchased from Ashley because of Teri and the selection options and pricing. Our furniture will arrive in 2 weeks. We're very hopeful that it will be perfect for us.

I am very disappointed in the customer service. March of 2022 we bought a whole living room set and a dining room set. 1/2 was delivered and the other half took 3 months to get to us. Once delivered, they put together the furniture so poorly that my husband had to fix it. A few weeks ago we reached out because the zipper on the middle cushion on our couch became detached. Like it wasn’t sewn on properly. All of the stuffing came out! We reached out to customer service and we were told that the EXTRA $650 that we paid for the extended warranty didn’t cover that, but they would give us information on where to find someone to pay to have it fixed. I am very disappointed with the outcome of this. Basically all warranty $$ is just something else for them to collect and not follow through on.

Nick was very friendly, funny, and patient while we shopped. He worked with us and got us a wonderful quality bedroom set.
Stopped in looking for some new pieces to furnish our new home but unfortunately felt very uncomfortable the entire time. Jodie, the sales associate just followed us around the entire time making it feel extremely awkward! We let her know if we had any questions or were interested in anything we would come to her but she continued to follow us, didn’t smile, and was not very friendly. The whole experience was just uninviting and uncomfortable. We ended up going to RC Willeys and had the total opposite experience and found exactly what we were looking for.
Should have read the warranty terms before the purchase and should have the avoided the misleading words from the sellers at store ending up purchasing useless warranty.

The salesman walked fast and talked fast. He was bored. I didn't feel like he cared what we were looking for. The showroom was nice and clean. We have bought most furniture here because of the great salesman and prices but think we might look somewhere else this time. Looking to change my living room and dining table.

We went to just look at couches. Went to two competitors then came to Ashley's in Reno. Mind you were just looking. Then AJ approached us and a full living room later we didn't have to go anywhere else. We purchased a couch, love seat, recliner, end tables and a coffee table. AJ was an excellent salesman, not pushy, but persistent enough that we didn't have to looking for him. This was our first purchase at Ashley, we will be back to see AJ.
The store is absolutely ridiculous trying to call them . They never answer the phone and it always says that they are closed during open hours. The stupid virtual assistant is a pain in the a$$ to get through to anyone. I have been trying to get a refund on an item that has been discontinued and no one is able or answers to get this done. Filing a complaint with bbb and consumer affairs because they took money from me and haven't refunded it or will. Last time I will do business with them

HORRIBLE!!! Never got my delivery as promised because they forgot to load them on the truck. Now they’re telling me I have to wait another week & I ordered them a week ago. I got the run around on the phone…HORRIBLE customer service! I’ll never go to Ashley again! I’ll be going to Macy’s for sure! I’d rather pay a little more & get excellent customer service. As a matter of fact I’m headed there now along with Lovesac to get the rest of my things.

We needed a couch and chair. The salesperson was direct with us and we were in an out in about an hour with a new couch and chair. it arrived on time and they set it up for us. They were nice with the installation too.
Deliver on the date that was planned and the delivery guys were really careful with my furniture clean and respectful they assembled my kitchen table set nicely with care
Although, I found the sofa that suited my need's, the store is very generic and not appealing at all. It appear's to solicit a basic contemporary style market, therefore, not providing any tradidional style's all. There's very little colorful artwork on the wall's and the customer checkout area is very bland.
AJ was cool to work with. Made it quick and easy with no in your face or over the top “typical” salesman tactics. Would recommend him to help you out.

We went to the store in Reno first Sean was really friendly.But when we had some questions we noticed Sean and the other employees were standing around and not helping anybody. So I went up to him and told him we had some questions. He answered a question then looked down at his phone and started playing with it. I guess we weren't buying high end furniture so weren't important. Never going back. We will buy are furniture some where else.Where we be treaded better.

Came to store to look around ,nothing in particular, but we liked a table so much so we bought it right away. I sold my old table I rescheduled an event party I had planned for today since it's my delivery date ,now it's saying error in the tracking number at the exact time my order should be delivered. I heard a voicemail saying my order was pushed back??? And now I'm without table for my event and lost a day of work for this delivery I called many times to the store and they told me something different. I called the sales representative directly,I called the number that left me a voicemail (no answer).. the delivery said 4 stops away to make it even worst .now it saying delivery not found very unprofessional, I payed set up and delivery for this . Also I confirm the deliver so many times ,like if they wanted me to re scheduled or miss my delivery.

Told item is in stock, called at 6pm the night before delivery stating don't have it in stock. Unable to get a hold of anyone, had to go in store, told will deliver in a week, still not in stock. Unable to help or offer any sort of solution since we got rid of the old couch day before delivery.

I recommend that you check the prices online before purchasing in store. We went in to look at tables last night and found one we wanted to purchase. The sales associate told us they were able to take $100 off of shipping costs, and the final cost would be around $1.6k for the dining set. We weren’t ready to pull the trigger on the purchase and the sales associate started to become more pushy telling us that we absolutely got the best price that they can give. This was simply not true as we went onto the Ashley website and purchased the dining set for $1.3k. Saved $300 by going online! I understand the sales associates make commission but this isn’t the first pushy experience we’ve had at Ashley and the dishonesty is really obvious with a quick look on the website.
This is my 2nd buy from Ashley. It's always a could decision!

Frank was very friendly, but overly overwhelmed with too many customers for one person to give personal attention to too each customer. I love the Ballister stand -up recliner I purchased. I also purchased an end table. I was told it would come already assembled. It did not come assembled. Please let people know that it comes in a kit to be assembled. It isn't something that a 80 year old woman can manage.
This was my second purchase. My sofa and couch are perfect. The TV stand was very damaged so I refused this piece. Customer service is horrible. I still have no delivery date for this item despite calling. The staff at the store in Reno were great. Carlos was very helpful in assisting us in finding the best items for our new home.

We are moving to Reno from out of state and needed bedroom furniture for our new home. Jennifer from the Reno store worked with us over the phone and made it so easy! We were able to order our furniture, arrange for delivery and pay for everything...it was fantastic! Jennifer went above and beyond to help us. We came in and found a set on clearance and I was able to get a Pod over and I was told they had people to load it in the Pod and take it to their storage service for a week. When we opened it up they only had a sectional and my receipt said I was supposed get a coffee table that had a lift top and two end tables. I spent hours trying to get someone on the phone in the Reno office to no luck and your 800 numbers said they couldn’t get them on the phone and she couldn leave a message but it would be quicker to go to the store. Luckily we were in Sparks and it was a quick ride so we went to where it was and apparently they had sold them after we made our purchase and we spoke to a very angry supervisor because I had proof of purchase so he had to pull full from a new stock and get them delivered with no charge. They are delivering these items on Oct 14th so there is more time to screw up

Assisted and was very friendly and patient even though we were undecided on delivery date and if we wanted the set up or not. Not a customer friendly company All sales are final and everything requires delivery. So all purchases are actually a minimum of $40 extra. Customers cannot pickup their own purchases. I will not ever shop here again. I will go to company’s with better policies such as amazon.

Too bad. Great show room. But horrible high pressure sales. Came in there looking for a loft bed for my kid. And you don't have anything at all for her. Ok fair, cant have everything. Decided to look at other stuff while there. Sales person kept pushing for sales on alot of different pieces . I kept politely declining that we already bought living room furniture last year. So he recommended a recliner for football season. Again declined. He's response was " must not love my husband very much." Unacceptable.

The absolute worst furniture purchasing experience I've ever endured. I won't ever be doing business with Ashley Furniture again! All of their customer service people have such heavy accent that you can't understand 90% of what they say! Finally just canceled my order after an hour of getting the run around, 3 days after my furniture was scheduled for delivery!

There did not appear to be anyone on the floor to help. When they finally came, they appeared irritated because I said that all I wanted was to redeem my $100 cards. I am sure they are good people, perhaps I got them at a bad time. You need more people to help with sales and to help find items. I have bought a lot of furniture from Ashley’s over the years and this experienced surprised me.
I worked with a representative named Franklin Buckner, and was extremely disappointed by the service and overall experience from him and this Ashley store. The only reason I purchased the furniture was because he told me it would arrive by July 15th. July 15th came and went, and still not furniture. When I reached out a few days later to check the status, he said, "sorry, it's not arriving until July 31st." No apology, no attempt to correct the situation. I was willing to accept even a different color or model, but that never happened. After that, I asked for a refund, and he just ignored my calls and texts instead of handling the situation. I ultimately had to call Ashley's customer service to have the refund processed. I won't be using this company for my furniture needs in the future.

The customer service at this store is laughable. I had an issue with my couch and filed a claim with the extended warranty company. The claim got approved and I am supposed to receive a new couch. I have now called my store 15 times and not a single person has answered the phone. Additionally, the chat option for Ashley is a joke. The person I spoke to told me to call the warranty company after I had already stated that they approved the claim and it was in Ashley’s hands now. After I explained this to them AND told them that representatives at my store weren’t answering they told me to try again. I’ve been on the phone going on three hours trying to get this resolved with various different customer care numbers and I keep getting transferred and told to call a different number.
We were greeted, shown the area we were interested in & said what we were specifically looking for. The salesman looked info up on his computer, talked to the row of collegues at the back of the store & then walked out of the side door with no explanation. We spent a total of 20min in the store.
Be helped by frank at Ashley’s was by far the best experience I’ve had buying furniture!!!! Highly recommend going to see him at Ashley furniture Reno.

Um, I usually love this store.. well maybe the one in Vegas. Here, the sales people need to listen..I asked for a specific brand and type of mattress. What does he show me, a foam one. After, I specifically stated I only wanted innerspring due to back issues. And yet, there was innerspring mattress right there..in front of him. Not the brand, and they didn't have anything in stock and has to be shipped from the warehouse in California for $160 🤯 to the store.. That's ridiculous their own warehouse doesn't ship to their store for free...what a joke! So, I asked where some other mattress stores were close by. And the sale guy tells me then says he has to pee. I was a little 😲 shocked. Thanks for over sharing and sucking at your job. I think they make commission, I dont know how he eats...lol

UPDATE! According to the policy, I am still waiting to receive my return on the furniture that was picked up. It has now been 19 days. Here is the policy: Refunds are made based on the payment method used at the time of purchase. Please allow 7–10 days following receipt of the returned item(s) for any credit or refund to display on your credit card statement. NO RETURN YET! I did get an email that stated that the chair was missing from the order to pick up! Yeah, so for the 19th time, that was the problem, to begin with! But now, the company is stating that I will only get store credit for the chair. This is beyond unacceptable at this point. Not to mention that I have to keep calling to get anywhere, and still, NO ONE IS DOING ANYTHING! And here is the return policy concerning the chair in my living room: they will NOT give me my money back! Can I return Ashley furniture after delivery? Not completely satisfied? We accept the return of Standard Shipping item(s) within 30 days of delivery. For Standard Deliveries where a manufacturing defect is discovered after the 30-day return period, consult the manufacturer's warranty, if any. This company charges almost $400 to deliver and does not follow its policies. Let me start by saying that we are so disappointed in Ashley furniture, the quality, sales, and service. We purchased a Sofa/Loveseat and chair. In the store, the set was super comfy and seemed well-made. Also, when I asked the salesperson if the Ashley extended warranty covered the cushions, she "Terry" stated, and I quote, "yes, I just used it for mine." I asked for the brochure to see what was covered, and right on the back, it does not cover cushions... WT? The manager came over and read it and just said, "Oh." Really! That should have been my clue not to purchase the furniture, but I liked it and let it go. However, upon receiving this in my home, it was very cheaply made, felt like a gunny sake material, and had no back support. I spoke with customer service the following day, stated I wanted to return the furniture, and she gave me a case number and said someone would call for a pickup. A week later, I had to call and schedule, and the kicker..... when they picked it up, they didn't take the chair. I got a manager, and the driver's dispatch said it was missing from the list to be picked up. I have called 4x in the last 19 days and have been told every single time that someone would call to schedule. Oh, and yesterday 2/1/22, I was told that it was not in the system to be picked up. This company charges $360 to deliver your furniture across town, and you must fight them to play by their return rules. I am still waiting to get my money back, and they stated 7-10 business days. Well, if my math is correct, you picked up on 1/19. That is ten ten business days as of today. I have tried repeatedly to reach the store manager, and nothing, so now it's time to escalate this further. Do yourself a favor and stay away from Ashley Reno. Does anyone know a lawyer who deals with this kind of situation? SMH

We were really impressed with the customer service at Ashley in Reno. We shopped in store and had a great experience with Nick, giving us the pros AND cons of many couches and helping us find one that was not too hot in the summer. We also saw an entertainment center on sale and ordered everything to be delivered and assembled. Once delivered, we had a few problems, couches were awesome but the guys said that our entertainment center was NOT covered under the assembly and we would have to assemble it ourselves, which was disappointing since we paid extra for that Premium service. Then when we tried to put it together, one of the Piers was damaged and the stapled part and hinges pulled apart, causing us much frustration. We went to the Customer Service desk in store and started to explain everything to the agent, Pam, the Manager, heard us and stepped in. She explained why that particular product wasn't an "assembly" product and offered to let us pick out any other entertainment center. We actually really wanted that one so she refunded the Premium delivery fee and took care of replacing the Pier that was damaged (putting a rush on it). A lot of companies will just refer you to the 800 number or to the original manufacturer of the product, but Pam stepped up right away to make it right and make sure we left happy! We didn't have to argue or complain. One of the best experiences I've ever had! As Pam and Nick explained, Ashley makes their own products and has their own warehouses, so they were able to replace our product ASAP, another Plus in addition to their excellent customer service, and the entertainment center was actually pretty easy to put together with both of us working on it. We would just advise that if you really want your product assembled by the delivery guys, that you tell that to the salesman and make sure it can be done. Otherwise, We love love our couches and tv center, and want to thank Pam and Nick for their Customer service skills!

My sales associate Andrew suggested a different configuration. I went home and shared it with my husband. Once we returned another sales associate Prit helped us and was very patient. My daughter and I visited the Reno store to test a certain reclining sofa and love seat set that we saw on line. We had tried calling the store for over a week to find out if this set was on the floor. But, no one EVER answered the phone. So, we had to go to the store. It was NOT on the floor and we were told we would have to order it on line and have it shipped to our home. It could not be returned if we were not happy with it after testing it out in our home. I don't know why a person would order a $2,400 set of furniture without first sitting on it and being able to feel the texture of the covering and whether it was comfortable to sit in. It makes NO sense. We decided Ashley doesn't really care about their customers, only pushing furniture on the floor and making money. No customer service offered. So, we're now looking at other stores and their options. Very sad. Very disappointing. 😒

We came in looking for a reclining loveseat where the leg rest extends and has a high back (the hubby is very tall). He knew right where things were and showed us his favorite. Sean Knight is the best. We started looking to furnish our new home back in June 2021. Sean was very patient with us. We must have went to the store at least a dozen times before we chose everything we had wanted. Everything was in stock and ready to be purchased. Then we found out our home was delayed for about 4 months. Sean was very relaxed about it and said these things always happens. We were very angry about it. We came back 3 months later. Most of what we picked were out of stock or not in inventory anymore. We had to start all over again. Found what we wanted again. He got us a GREAT price and most of all it was ( our furniture ) delivered a day after we got the keys to our new home. He’s awesome ! There were a few little problems with the delivery of our furniture. I call Sean. The came to our rescue, he make a few calls. Called us back and said they we’ll be sending out another one. He went beyond the call of duty for us. We will be coming back in the near future to buy a few items that we had forgot. See you soon Sean.

My husband and I purchased furniture at the Reno, Nv location. We had some issues with a couple of pieces of the furniture. David Blaylock helped us to get all of our problems taken care of immediately!! David's customer service was amazing, he listened to us and responded immediately in resolving all of our problems!! We had problems with a shift manager previously and I vowed to never shop at Ashley's again. BUT because of David Blaylock we have gone back to Ashley's and are once again happy customers! I also want to give a 5star rating to José the technician that came to our home and repaired 2 chairs. He was very professional, courteous and efficient!!

Our Salesman Sean Knight was great. We where looking to fully furnish our brand new 3 bedroom home. Sean spent many hours over a 4 day period helping us and taking the time to help us pick out the best furniture for our needs. As a result we where successful in fully furnishing our new house for $14,000.00. Sean worked with us on the financing all the way to the last delivery. In these days and times it is difficult to find true customer service over bottom line.
I bought from Sean Knight. What a great salesman. WE spent more than what we planned. He was fun and professional. He is a keeper. He went beyond. We will be back.

Attempted to contact the store to get information on a couch seen online. Got the all associates are busy so stay on the line if you would like to hold. I did stay on the line as I was willing to hold until someone was available System then transfers me to customer service. I thought it was Reno store but it was not. They have no answers and told me that I needed to contact the store to get assistance. Basically, they put you in a do loop with no assistance and no answers. If this is how you treat potential customers, it's not looking good once you actually have my money. We will be spending our money elsewhere.
I went in today to lease a couch, Teri was so wonderful and assistive. The women at the customer service desk were also just as great! They were very accommodating and all around friendly. I had the best experience! Thank you ladies!

Go anywhere else but here. I would rather sit or sleep on the floor than go through another furniture experience with this company. Products are defective. No one communicates with one another at the store or with their centralized customer service team who opens and initiates claims. They do not follow up timely on any requests which puts you in jeopardy with your agreements, and they schedule deliveries and exchanges without your consent . Horrible.
My husband and I just walked into Ashley Furniture Store to look at bedroom furniture and Pam Wilding helped us!! She was extremely helpful and able to help us pick out a beautiful bedroom set along with a new mattress!! We absolutely love everything!! Absolutely worst customer service I've experienced. Being a repeat customer, they sold me a couch they didn't even have. They told me it was going to be delivered then then they no call no showed. I had to call in to find out "it was damaged." They said they would have the another delivered the following week. They called the night before to say they didn't have the couch and it wouldn't be in for over a month! I bought the couch for the reason it was in stock and going to be delivered the next week! I even got rid of my old couch in anticipation of the new one arriving because they said they had it in stock! Now I'm left with no couch and no customer service has reached out to me to right the wrong at all....

Spent almost a $1000 on a lift recliner, after we had to grab a sales person, who turned out to be the manager. 2 salesmen who ignored us interrupted the manager as she was ringing up the sale twice with none business conversation. I had to walk away, I was so apalled. My daughter concluded transaction. They sent wrong color. I accepted it. Now I own a chair that is darker than all the furniture in the room. On wrong day, with 30 minutes notice. I was in middle of telecon. Otherwise I wouldn't get chair until Jan. Risky doing business with this store.

This place is the worst place I have ever bought a couch from, what they have on the floor is completely different then what they sold me, my hole couch is stuffed with this weird Cotten , even in the seats of the couch has this weird cotten very uncomfortable ,the seats are supposed to have nice foam an they don’t,They will not reimburse me, they will not fix the problem at all, they ripped me off for $4,000 dollars, im so disappointed an upset , how this place is as a business,I will never shop hear again an I hope no one else gets ripped of as bad as I did, in my pictures you will see the stuffing they used in the hole couch

I ordered back in June, they are promised to deliver in October. I called to cancel, they told me it’s canceled, but later I found out nobody cancelled my order … what a mess

My family and I are disgusted with the inhumane treatment we endured while in this store. My grandmother recently had surgery and her doctor recommended for her to sleep in a recliner chair to help her recover. My family immediately thought of going to Ashley’s because we’ve been loyal customers and have never been disappointed with the service or products. Until the employees discriminated against my family and tried to use the language barrier to their advantage. My family was lied to by the manager, an Asian woman who we weren’t able to get the name of, and told they needed to buy an optional 5 year warranty. My family was never made aware of this and once they realized that they were being taken advantage, they politely let them know that they weren’t going to follow through with the purchase. Once the store manager realized that my family knew that she was lying and trying to overcharge them, she rudely ripped the invoice and forced my family out of the store. We understand that they have the right to refuse service, but the fact that they were being rushed out and yelled at as if they were animals, while being aware of the fact that my grandfather is handicapped and has a hard time walking, is completely unacceptable. While they were being rushed out, one of the employees, Mike, had told my family “Get out of here. Go eat your Pollo Loco”. My family and I are outraged with the racist, ableist, and unprofessional behavior of the employees. We hope that you all keep this in mind the next time you think of going to this store.

I like Ashley but the prices seem high compared to other places. Nice items tho. 1 thing I don't like is how they follow u thru the store in case u find something. I know they r try n to get sales but it's a little intrusive....itsme itsme
Frank was great. He showed us to the furniture we were looking for and stayed close by for when we had questions, but did not hover or push like a typical sales person. Will definitely recommend Frank and this Ashley Furnitute location to others

We went to Reno store looking for furniture. We were looking for a new couch and a dining room set. As soon as we walked in, the sales person approached us with the most arrogant attitude and I hate when the sales people aggressively following you around. So I say: thank you, we will take a look around. The guy responds: you need to understand something… like what???? Excuse me? Is this how they approach every customer? So we turn around and start to leave and the guy says: ain’t gonna hurt me! Wow. What an attitude after you just lost a costumer. So I turn around and ask for the guy’s name, and he says I ain’t telling you. Long story short I spoke to the manager, she seemed indifferent, we left, went to Scandinavian Designs spent $5000 on a cute couch and a beautiful dinning room table and bench and had the most wonderful and sweet service there.

I found the same table at Mor Furniture for $399... they wouldn't price match and wanted to charge me $99 for a 2 mile delivery. Avoid, very pushy sales person and the manager was too busy to help a new sales person.
This store is honestly horrible. It seems like they find a way to not help you and take care of you with customer service. Many hoops to jump through just to get simple things taken care of. I haven’t got furniture from them in a while and didn’t want to leave a review because I tend not to just get mad about 1 experience but it’s been every time I interact with them there’s issues. They’ve delivered broken furniture that’s obviously shattered and still make us go through extended warranty claims. They have forgot to deliver items that come with an order. I was missing half of a couch for months. And this seems to be everyone else’s experience. When I went in to get these things taken care of there was a long line of more and more frustrated customers. The reason I wrote this review now is we had to make another warrant claim on something we realized broke on our bed. They tried not to fix it at first until we spoke with a manager. Months later after they finally fixed our bed, they wouldn’t take the entire broken bed frame. So we have two bed frames in our house now. It’s just problem after problem with these people. Bad experience. Very low class. Will never shop here again and you shouldn’t either. Go to a store that will actually get you taken care of instead of abandoning you.
So far... sort of Meh. Was supposed to get delivery today, of about 5.5K in bedroom set pieces. was confirmed by Ahsley text 3 days ago. Arranged my work day to be home. Half way through the day, no word from Ashley. I called them, and learned I won't be taking delivery today. Salesman was fine, in store experinece was okay, but this non-delivery delivery business is remarkably unprofessional. Quality and value? Guess I can comment again, if I ever get the furniture. Addition- delivery arrived 3 days late. Delivery guys, Will and Pedro, were super. Efficient, professional, polite, and tidy. Ashley's quality control, if they have such a standard, is lacking. There's a glaring, and unattractive flaw, along the bottom edge of the mirror that should have been detected and made right before Delivery. Am no told an Ashley representative will be in touch, regarding the matter. Could not get a clue as to when. Would like this to be resolved so that my wife (and I) can rest easy.

I went shopping for a couch and a love seat the staff did help me find a couch and a loveseat. I admit I'm very picky so I'm more inclined to find something gently used and I encourage you the consumer to shop around.

One star because Zero is not an option. My Wife and I spent over 4000 dollars on a sectional. I wanted to just look around for a bit but that is impossible at Ashley, a salesperson latched onto us early and never really left us alone the entire time we were looking, always within a dozen feet or so. I get that people have questions but most are capable of asking for themselves. We were supposed to get a $360 "reward" back, it came as a series of FOUR different numbers that I had to enter seperately on the website. I had to enter my info FOUR times and then supposedly there is a way to get an actual card with the whole amount on it. I have been in contact with customer service to find out how to get MY money and they tried to help buy sending me more codes that had to be entered seperately. I feel like they make the process ridiculously difficult so you won't claim the "reward". If I hear back from support and my issue resolved, I am willing to amend this review but for now I will not be recomending Ashley to anyone. EDIT: i will have to get FOUR different cards. Officially done with Ashley.
I’m a Mors costumer but decided to give it a shot and since some of my friends purchased from this store , why not I went in to buy a mattress a sale clearance just to try and look around 1. No one acknowledge us , not greeted us , look at us so I knew they knew we where there 2. I after 15-20 min had to approach them that look as they were trying to ignore us and hide rather than make a sale. The representative said this to us yes most of our sales comes from online this is just a showroom . My husband discreetly said I wonder why !!!! That makes total sense. So I bought a clearance mattress for on er $300 for my sons bed . Immediately my husband said Nope we aren’t buying anything else with this Service , we walk out and went to Mors we’re we have always been notice the minute we walk in. A very noticiable costumer Servise And bought me an entire bedroom furniture. Set including mattress and a lamp spend over $3500 . NEVER JUDGE ANYONE BY THEIR LOOKS Respect and be humble

Went in search of a new recliner. Salesman showed us 15 or so chairs within the parameters we gave him. Then he asked to show us new technology in a bed. We bought both.
Just left Ashley Home Furniture on 750 E Moana Lane in Reno, NV. If you are BLACK do not come here! We were greeted at the door by a Hispanic man named Carlos, and assumed we were a BLACK couple from the previous day. After informing him that wasn’t us, and presumed shopping. He then followed us and attempted to apologize and stated that we were wearing a mask similar to the previous couple and that’s the reason he mistook us for them. Mind you, we are wearing hospital masks. After that we preceded to shop around, we noticed Carlos was following us around the store as if we were going to steal furniture. Carlos made us so uncomfortable we left the store after being harassed for the fifteen minute duration of being in the store. It’s crazy to see that profiling still occurs, but it’s more crazy how blatant it can be. I’m a six-figure blue collar individual who works hard for everything. I was ready to drop a serious bag on a couch, with money I earned. Instead I was profiled, and decided to leave because of the circumstance. Once again, if you are BLACK I would stay clear of this store! Money won’t change the way you are perceived, RACISM is still real!
We ordered a sectional, bar stools, and an area rug from this location on July 2nd. The sectional arrived when we were told it would, but they had rang up dining room table chairs instead of the bar stools we picked out. So we had to wait until August 4th to get the correct items and have them pick up the chairs. No one answers at the store which made correcting the issue very complicated. You have to submit a form online and someone from HQ contacts you 3-5 business days later. As for the area rug, they told us it would be delivered in 3 weeks. Today is August 15th and we are still waiting on it and are unable to get in touch with anyone to track it. Overall lousy experience and not worth the headache.

Do not waste time at this store. Do not buy the warranty as well because it’s a waste! The warranty company is terrible and so is the unhelpful management at this store. Our 4,000 dollar couches were worn out in 1 year and had worn out metal frames within 2 years. RC Wiley has way better customer service and actually cares about their customers so I definitely recommend them over this terrible, rip off store. FYI the sales manager, Pam, is the most disrespectful manager and makes you seem like you’re a waste of time. She is sarcastic and passive aggressive. But don’t expect to have any reason or help from her because she’s been there for 3 years as sales manager and seems to still not care about customers.
DO NOT BUY FROM ASHLEYS I went into Ashley’s to find some furniture for my apartment. The salesman was friendly and nice. But he was relentless. After telling him multiple times I was just looking and didn’t need help. He would still come over every 5 minutes to try and convince me to buy something. Anyways, I found a nice bedroom set that was expensive, but I figured it’s from Ashley’s, it’s a well known brand! After deciding on buying the bedroom set, the salesman spent the next 30 minutes trying to sell me on things I didn’t want or need. Eventually I got out of there and had 3 weeks until delivery. Delivery driver arrives and in the truck it’s one younger man, and an older man with only one hand. The older man assembles a few items outside while I go inside to help the younger man put together the bed frame and nightstand. As I’m inside I’m making small talk with the younger man. He tells me that they drove up that morning from Stockton, and they won’t be done for another 2-3 hours. That would mean that the two delivery drivers won’t be done until around 8pm, then they have to drive back to Stockton! He then tells me, they left Stockton at 6am that same day. I try to mention the silver lining by saying, “jeez, atleast you’re racking up that overtime.” This is when he tells me, “WE DONT EARN OVERTIME PAY!” He tells me that they get paid by the day, and he regularly works 12-16hr days. The young man was clearly exhausted, and tells me he thought he would be making $25-$30/hr. But because of all the extra deliveries and ridiculous commute from Stockton to Tahoe, he usually makes half of that. I was floored, I paid close to $1000 for a bed frame, box spring, and a bedside table. And Ashley Home Furniture is skimping on paying their workers (contractors) a decent wage?! On top of all that, the bed frame did not assemble as well as the one in the store. There’s multiple gaps and impurities in the wood that makes it look cheap. Ashley home furniture offers garbage products and doesn’t pay their workers. I also went to MOR furniture for my kitchen table and chairs. The experience was 1000x more enjoyable
(I’m writing this again because Google deleted my earlier post). In December 2021 we bought 13k in furniture at this store , we plan the delivery for May 2022 because our house was be in built and I always called to make sure they follow the date that is promises to us and unfortunately it didn’t happen. I call to the store manager and she told me nothing that they could do , because the sold my furniture to someone else. They didn’t gave me a call and now I don’t have any furniture in my home. I’m really frustrated and disappointed with this store and the people who work there. I canceled my full order and bought with different store. Definitely not be shopping there ever again , I really this situation doesn’t happen to anyone else.
They really worked with me to get a price on a recliner that I was comfortable with and set up a pretty fast delivery date. The sales Rep (Ren) Andres Herzberg was great to work with David the Manager worked hard to get the deal done. Kudos for them both.
Not much variety in their furniture lately. They literally have only two versions of bookcases for sale and neither is that appealing. Their furniture is fairly overpriced for what it is now. I miss the Ashley's of 10 years ago where they focused on quality rather than mass producing for more profit.
I probably won't be shopping at this location ever again...

We were helped buy some kind people. We've bought couches, entertainment center's and bought an electric reclining sofa last year. Some sales are better than others. This visit, I couldn't afford the prices on a leather reclining couch for our living room. Even for a repeat customer, they couldn't give me a good discount. The plus side is their furniture has lasted awhile. Our entertainment center purchased 14 years ago is still in great shape. Couches still good after 15 years of wear. Our newest purchase of the electric reclining couch with faux leather is terrific. We were disappointed about buying a smaller electric reclining couch, but we found an Italian leather reclining couch at another store. I wish Ashley would've given us a better discount for real leather, but my furniture is good0

Do not buy furniture from this store!! They will promise you perks just to make the sale and rip you off at the end. I purchased two sets of furniture at the end of April and spent a considerable amount of money. The store manager and sales associate both said that I would receive a refund for my delivery and set up charges of $159.99 via a Mastercard electronic gift card via email IMMEDIATELY after signing for delivery. I didn’t receive anything. I called and texted the sales rep that provided me his personal number to call to answer any questions and he didn’t even bother to respond or call back. Reaching the store over the phone is impossible, I called several times and the call would get redirected to the corporate call center where the agents are incompetent. On one of my many calls, the phone agent stated the would refund the $159.99 and I would see it back in my account in 3-5 business days. I called over a week later to check on the status and the phone agent said there weren’t any notes related to my previous calls and that they weren’t authorized to process refunds because it was purchased in store and I told them I couldn’t reach the store and they stated I had to go in person. I stated that I didn’t live near the store where I could just walk in anytime when they’re the ones that made false claims. I filed a chargeback with my bank and a few days later I get a call from someone in corporate stating that the store gave me the wrong information regarding that promotion, that it can take up to 6 weeks to receive that gift card, at this point it had been 5 weeks already and they asked me if I wanted to remove my chargeback and wait to see if the email would arrive, I said no because I didn’t trust their shady company at this point and would continue with my bank claim. It’s been almost two months since I made that purchase and I didn’t receive that gift card and they denied my claim with the bank. They are thieves!!! Beware!!!
Senior citizen purchased very expensive dining set. paid for assembly. Chairs broke within a month. They did not honor warranty.
The staff was rude. They wanted to charge me $70.00 for delivery of a clock I could fit in my lap.
Couldn't shop here. Was being followed the entire time by a salesman. Asked to be left alone till we picked something out and was told they are required to follow people as they shop. Made trying to be relaxing while picking out furniture impossible. Will not be back.

When we walked in.. all the sales people were in the front and seemed ready to pounce🤣 There was a gentlemen who introduced himself and said if we had any questions about anything to let him know. That was nice he didn't hover. Most of the furniture we were looking for seemed way over priced and the couches that we were wanting to get wouldn't fit our needs size and comfort wise. So we have to look elsewhere
I wish I would have read the warnings and stayed away. Placed in order in February and in March, was told it was going to be delivery in April, checked in for our timeframe in April and was told May, checked in again now they are saying June. Reading other reviews I am not holding my breath. There is no communication from the store and you can't even get ahold of them over the phone as when you go in person you can see the long line of people also wanting to cancel their orders. I can only get communication from the online chat center which just keeps telling me its being looked into. The sales people have no problem upselling you items that they must know are months out.

More mad about not being able to reach anybody by phone. Phone number put you through a major sales pitch and then doesn't connect you anyway to Ashley furniture. Not just by phone by fax by text message the salesperson's phone number never even called me back. Not really happy with my service at this place
This is based on past visits and recent interaction with manager. The manager was available for assistance and in the past employees were more helpful and friendly. One lady was there for helping, while she was helping others. Wanted to recognize these two people and talk anything negative for this location.
I'm not sure who you bought my information from in order to mail trash to my house. Do not send unsolicited advertisements. It is just garbage for people to have to throw away. On ac side note I would never buy from you anyway since you did not back up your product or offer a refund when my sister's couch started coming apart after 1 month.

Customer service was fantastic. The individual that provided us with assistance was very acknowledgable about all the products the establishment carried. They offered great discounts on tops of sales. Which was great. So thank you.. However it would have been a better experience if staff workers weren't as determined to sell every item you looked at. Personal boundaries need to be addressed when customers are shopping. It would great if staff would give you more space to look on your own. We cant shove a couch down our shirt and run. Products are very nice. Staging was done very well. Facility was clean for the most part. However the bathroom not so much.
These people will lie to you to get your purchase and then just lead you on for months! Then call and give you a 4 hour window of delivery which they show up early and n leave. They lie and waist your time! The sales manager and sales persons should either tell the truth or have to compensate people for they're lies and deception!
The sales team is great at selling you as much as they can and give you the best prices “deals” to get as much furniture as possible. They give long time delivers to cover “worse case scenario” and that deliver date gets pushed over and over for months without notifying you (9 months). You have to be calling to costumer service and then they just tell you to go to the store. Customer service at the store is not polite at all. no solutions or help is provided, they just keep offering more furniture. Options like go and select something else when you already spend so much time selecting one already, is not a solution and the only thing you can do is cancel your order and they do not allow you to return all your purchase “just things that are part of the set that hasn’t been fully delivered (2 parts delivered out of 10). really bad experience buying at Ashley. Saving you time. Go to a different store.
We were greeted at the door and given directions to the items we were interested in. From there we were free to shop around the store without interruption. When we had questions about the items that we liked, our sales person was readily available to answer them. There was no pressure at all to make a decision, but when we did decide on the items we liked, she was very good at getting our order processed and completed. Everything was explained to us before we left the store, and now we are just anxiously awaiting our delivery on May 14th.

I would strongly recommend NOT buying furniture at Ashley Furniture in Reno! The customer service is some of the worst I have ever dealt with. In regards to getting your furniture that is a whole other issue with this store. We ordered our furniture on January 15th with a delivery date of March 6th and have yet to still receive our furniture. We never received a call or email that our furniture would not be delivered on March 6th. When you call customer service it is extremely hard to get thru and the calls are often dropped. Calling the Reno store and getting someone to answer is even more difficult. I spoke to centralized at Ashley Furniture and they told me it is really hard to get through to the Reno store and that they have a hard time getting someone to answer. We eventually had to go to the store to get a straight answer and get our ordered figured out. We spoke to Diana Gutierrez who was very helpful and friendly. we thought we had it figured out but no. Today I was able to finally get through and spoke to a Lily who was not as helpful and told me something completely different then Diana. She assured me that it would be taken care of but I am definitely not holding my breath. Three of my friends have ordered furniture and have had nothing but problems as well. One wrong item was delivered not once put twice, the other friend had her items delivered with defects. Please save your time and frustration and order from another furniture store. Our experience has been anything but pleasant. I wish I would have read the reviews for Reno Ashley Furniture before doing business with them. Please take the time to read the reviews and you will see many of the same experiences. No wonder they have such a horrible rating.

The couch is awesome. The reason I gave it two stars is because the experience isn't. They don't have the couch there so you can't take it home with you. This means you have to have it shipped which they charged 400 dollars for. I told them I would be out of town on the 12 - 15 so any other time is good for it to be shipped. The only day available if I want it this month, which is already a week past purchase is on that day. They told me they would handle it and so far it is that or wait for longer for my several thousand dollar couch. After this I canceled my order by calling their customer service. They told me that it would take 24 to 48 hours to get my money back unless I went in person with the same card. I did and they refused to help or give me my money back at the store. This place is a joke go to Costco. Shipping/handling/setup all free.
Ashley has always been our go to furniture store. They have a great selection, good quality products, and some unique pieces. The sales staff are always friendly and very helpful, but do not pressure. This visit they had exactly what we wanted and Nick, our salesman, was very knowledgeable and made everything go very smoothly.
Do not purchase unless you are willing to wait a year or more for your delivery. They are not committing to delivery dates stating "Covid" and wait time to reach these people on the phone is around 2 hours usually. Clearly there are a lot of unhappy customers. I ordered a bed 7 months ago. I keep being told windows of months when I will receive the product. First, December, then March, now May. No one will call me back or give me any answers as to where my items are. I did a lot of business with this company a few years ago and they were adequate. Now they are ridiculous, not helpful, and extremely rude. Definitely will never do business here again.
Fouth day of spending 4 to 5 hours a day on the phone... goes to CS.. in Florida... they tried several time with same results.... I'm 100 miles away guess I'll have to make the drive..at 5 dollars a gallon... just to make sure my order is dealt with.. Would have awesome to have been able to address my issues .

BUYER BEWARE!! As a current business owner myself, I usually prefer to let customers make up their own minds rather than write reviews, as every business is entitled to have bad days…. But my experience in this instance is one of the most disheartening, most unprofessional, dishonest experiences I have ever had when ordering a product. My husband and I went to Ashley for their Black Friday Sale 2021 looking for a new dinning table. It so happened that we didn’t find a table small enough, but I fell in love with some dinning chairs. With that, we also found a sofa, loveseat and bedroom set we liked as well. At that point we decided that for our 25-year anniversary, we should take advantage of the sale and do a little refresh of most our home furnishings. I even went back and ordered bar stools a couple of days later to add to the order. I was ecstatic when we were told that everything was in stock (we had heard rumors that most items were taking months to come in) and we were informed that all could be delivered within a few weeks. So we scheduled delivery for the week after the new year. To keep a VERY long story short; when it came time for the delivery in Jan, Ashley sold the furfure (that was already paid for) to someone else. We were told it was because we didn’t schedule an earlier delivery date and that now we would have to wait anywhere from 3 to 5 months for our items. The only items that were delivered were the bar stools, but to make matters worse, they ordered the wrong size. It has taken me 8 weeks and countless hours to get an exchange, only to have them send the wrong ones a second time… Management could care less, acting as if somehow it’s my fault and that they were doing ME a favor to fix it. The amount of time and money I have lost over the last 4 months is beyond ridiculous to try and work with them… I did end up canceling my entire order and still have yet to receive a refund. And, because it’s been over 3 months, the credit card company cannot dispute the charges... so now I’m out the money unless I take them to court… I didn’t lose my temper, I didn’t yell or scream, but I do plan to tell everyone I know NOT to buy from them... and M*F* them until the end of time.
Ashley Reno store is very poorly managed. The prices are negotiable for some and some get the set price. Their management is more like a used car lot than a furniture store. Please don't waste your time. Go somewhere else!

Our Sales person- David P. was Spectacular! We just moved here and needed a dining room, bedroom, living room, outdoor set and a TV console. He was so accommodating! I would truly recommend that if your go to Ashley ask for Dave. He is the best. Remember that name Dave P!!!!!

We went into the store today and had someone new help us. The previous guy who helped us on our first visit, when we weren't quite ready to purchase anything yet, was pretty rude when we came back. My boyfriend said he gave some "not so kind" looks towards us. I understand they get commission from their sales, but we tried to message him about the $4800 in furniture we were wanting to buy and he never responded. Had sent him 3 messages with pictures of items.Then to be made to feel uncomfortable in the store like that was ridiculous. If he wanted the sale he should respond to his customer that he gave his phone number to. So we figured he wasn't interested in helping us or he no longer was employed there and went with the another sales person. The new sales person we got was fantastic, but we won't be returning to Ashley because of their uncomfortable commission based sales. Being competitive is one thing, but making your customers uncomfortable is another. Mor furniture or RC Willey will be our new shops for home furnishings from now on. Also, the prices online are wayyyy cheaper than they are priced in store at Ashley. Ridiculous how they can price adjust things so extremely from one sales platform to another.
It's been over a month and the "Regional Manager" still hasn't gotten back to me and little to no communication from the store. This is outrageous to say the least 🙃 what would you do if you were me?
We are waiting for our delivery since December, and they keep delaying it. My newborn will arrive home before my furniture does, looks like.

First, our sales person, Carlos, was excellent. He was knowledgeable, not pushy and very professional. The store was beautifully laid out, not so crowed that you couldn't easily walk around (like many furniture stores) and an excellent selection of furniture.

Sorry, my experience could not have been worse. Even after multiple reschedules of my delivery dates, my canceling of the order, I am informed that it will take 2 weeks to get credited for my purchase. Two weeks! Really?

Ordered couches online which originally going to be delivered the 28th of December. When they called to confirm they told me I had to be there to sign for my order I asked if it was okay to change delivery date to a weekend she rescheduled to the 1st of January. Monday the 27th they call me and state they will be closed the 1st if it was okay to change me to the 31st of December. I said that's fine I'll get the day off. The 31st comes and around noon I call to check on the order status the man on the phone tells me my order isn't coming that its scheduled for the 5th of January I told him that I never agreed to that date even my email states the 31st he said that's not on our system you were scheduled for the 5th if that doesn't work I can reschedule you for February. I told him just this Monday they changed the date to the 31st and if there was an option to cancel he said yes. I told him I'm looking at the confirmation email and it shows the 31st he said I canceled your order already nothing is coming if there's nothing else I can help you with you can hang on the line to take out survey and then hung up. Sorry Ashley's but this is the second time I deal with horrible customer service and not getting my order!
Shopped for a couch at several places before going into Ashley in Reno. So glad we didn’t settle anywhere else! Nick Sharpe the sales rep was AMAZING!! Helped us find exactly what we were looking for! He was professional but so friendly and personable! We almost left with nothing and his attitude towards us didn’t change (as some of the sales reps at other stores changed their tone when we were leaving). Decided to purchase from Nick and my couch was delivered in 3 days, today on New Years Day! The delivery drivers arrived very prompt and we’re also super friendly!! They got it moved in and set up in a breeze! I will definitely be going back to Ashley in Reno and Nick for anything and everything in the future! When shopping on Black Friday the rep helping us was Karina she was nice at first. I was about to purchase $4000 dollars of furniture but saw everything was much cheaper online $2000 difference Ashley’s mangers we’re great about adjusting price and I noticed Karina rep was very rude at the end she had entered all the incorrect information for address name and phone number even though I had given her my iD with that info and my number was written down. She said she would call me about my delivery date never got that call. Might go back but definitely not with Karina.
Went into Ashley’s and finally found a sectional that worked for our house. Fast forward a month and a day before our delivery we received no phone call/ email or anything stating when our delivery time would be. I called and they said our order wasn’t even in the system. We headed down to the store to figure out what was going on and they stated there’s been a glitch in their system. The lady who was helping said no your not getting anything delivered(Dec 11th delivery date) because a piece wasn’t even in stock. I stated the sales men told us it was and that everything was good to go a month prior. The lady at the customer service was rude and trying to be smart with us so we decided to cancel our entire order. Our salesman never even called us about our delivery not coming or anything. When I told the lady at customer I want my money back she said no sorry we send emails out for that and you have to reply to us even wanting a refund.. needless to say I had to file a claim through our credit card company and dispute it because of their actions. People do not shop at Ashley’s! They will try to scam you.
The delivery on my items kept getting pushed back when I was told I would get it in a week. Now I finally got it and still can’t sleep on my bed because I was told it didn’t need a box spring but it does. The dresser was also damaged so now I have to wait for them to send another one. The customer service isn’t helpful. I don’t know what I’m supposed to do now. My fiancé went to the store from Fernley to talk to someone, and the sales guy there starting cursing at him and threatening to physically assault him. The manager came out and de-escalated the situation and said we would get our box spring free of charge for the inconvenience. Then the same guy pushed my fiancé out the door and threatened to harm him. Considering there is a furniture shortage, I understand a delay. But to keep promising our furniture can come when it can’t, a salesman telling us we don’t need something when we do, and the awful (to put it nicely) customer service, I wouldn’t recommend Ashley’s to anyone.
We had the pleasure of working with Theo and he was awesome! They were having a really good sale but he went above and beyond for us and we were able to purchase our dream furniture. I would highly recommend this store and ask for Theo!
Worse , Worse furniture ever, I bought 4 furnitures 3 of them was damaged I bought 1 sofa that Less in 3 months All the Cushions sink and are not comfortable And the others 2 came with damages That They already fixed wrong
This experience was worse than buying a car! Their 40% off sale is a scam that gets chewed up by add on's like delivery and furniture damage warranty. Salesperson (very pushy) kept saying that he would add extra discount to offset these charges. That's all they speak, discounts. Never asked if we wanted those extrs, just typed them into the invoice, which increases his commissions. Went home, checked online and our whole invoice came to 50% less than their 40% off sale total! I know their is overhead in a showroom and Ashley's furniture is of good quality, but do yourself a favor, go in, look around and then buy online with free shipping and delivery! (setup not included) Online even tells you the amount of time it takes to assemble pieces, or still cheaper to hire a local handyman to assemble than to pay their showroom prices.
I purchased a living room set in January and half was delivered in February and I was told the rest would be directly shipped to me. Then a month later they called and said I wasn't home for the delivery when nobody called to set appointment. I was then told I would have to pick it up myself from the store after I have paid in cash the delivery charges. I then take off work rent a truck and hire some help . We get to the store and they don't know where my furniture is and now at this time I would just like a refund and its been 9 months and nothing. If you have any sense you would not use Ashley furniture.
Our salesman was very helpful, knew what I was looking for and led us right to the furniture I bought! Very fast delivery 3 days!! Very efficient delivery and great set up.

Trying to add pieces to the living room furniture I purchased previously. Talked to a bot, a text "person," waited on hold 3 1/2 hours never got through to someone, finally got a store rep that said they can't look up orders I have to come in. I will just buy a love seat from Overstock or Amazon at this point. What a joke.
Great store here in Reno Nevada. Sean is very helpful at finding what you need. We recently bought two chairs and unfortunately one came broken, waiting for replacement item. Professional as times like these we need patience and many things come in half made or broken from all over including appliances. We have a new home build so it’s been a process. Ashley’s has been great.

I’m going to start this off by saying I never leave bad reviews, ever. So doing this should say a lot. My husband went into the store to order a dresser and 2 night stands we saw online. He was advised by the salesman it wasn’t in stock but he could have ordered and delivered for us, great! Once time to pay, it was almost DOUBLE what it had said online. My husband showed him the link. He then only took a portion of the price down, with that my husband was going to say never mind we’ll find something else that meets our budget. The once friendly guy gets his manager over, they agree on the online price and start the order process (at that point there was not the best attitude, maybe because of commission?). My husband asked if this would be delivered already built, he said oh yes, it arrives in the warehouse, the guys build it and then it’s shipped to you. Which is the whole reason we went there in the first place so we could get something already put together. My delivery came today, still in boxes. In the grand scheme of things, it’s not that big of a deal. I didn’t refuse the delivery. It’s just upsetting feeling lied to just in order to get a sale. Also, just the feeling of someone changing their demeanor towards you because the price isn’t as much… just very disappointed with the whole experience.
It is so difficult to get ahold of the Reno store and the answers differ by person. I filed a claim and had to follow up multiple times rather than being contacted by the store. The quality of the furniture is also the worst I have owned. Do not get your furniture from this store.

The store location has good customer service. The company as a whole is garbage. I bought a coffee table. Delivery was 6 weeks. I waited 6 weeks. Nothing happend. Called the support number. Waited on hold for 40 minutes after being routed through the call menu 3 times. Finally got through and my order had been delayed 7 months without my knowledge. Canceled the order and now am being charged 58 bucks to cancel an order they never fulfilled, never even planned on fulfilling. I would rather have just paid 58 dollars to not have to wait 6 weeks to be disrespected.

First I want to say that my whole experience with Ashley Furniture was terrible. On 7-5-2021 my wife and I were in the store, we picked out furniture with our salesman Sean Knight. He said that he would let me know when to expect delivery. We texted back and forth on 8-19-2021 and he said I was set for delivery on 9-21-2021. I texted him on 9-20-2021 to check on my furniture delivery because I had not heard from him or Ashley Furniture, he told me he wasn’t sure and that he would talk to his supervisor, he told me that my delivery date had been changed to 9-28-2021, so if I hadn’t texted him I would have sat at my house all day on 9-21-2021 waiting for my furniture to be delivered, when he told me my delivery date had changed and it had been almost 3 months since we had ordered the furniture that I was very unhappy with their communication and that I wanted to cancel my order, Sean told me he was sorry for the problem and to have a nice day. So I called the store number and talked to a lady names Racheal, told her I wanted to cancel my order, she said she would take care of canceling my order and refund my 400dollars, never asked what the problem was, and didn’t seem concerned that I was canceling a 3200 dollar order, terrible customer service and terrible communication
Really upset bought a bunch of stuff for my new apartment. Which is supposed to get delivered just when I called to get my new delivery date because it got changed, the lady was very unprofessional. She was talking to other people while on the phone multiple times, rushing me when they had nobody on hold. I’ve worked in customer service for years and that is not how you treat your customers, you need to treat them with respect and be ready to answer questions in a good manner. But the furniture is nice. I do believe customer service is what is the most important thing in a company.

Just don't do it. It is not worth it. I am currently on hold with the store ( I know I will never get through) As I got a random txt this am saying our stuff would be here in 10 mins. Ya they didn't show up. We have a rug out somewhere that was a direct ship, which they apparently cannot track, refund or cancel. Or maybe they can, it depends on who you talk to. the run around is crazy. This is after they blew off an order we are actually waiting for a few times, and then blew us off yesterday. So honestly we have NO IDEA where or when anything else we ordered months ago will show up. We will have to go to the store and deal with it, again. Which trust me is not a 15 min trip, eat food and have a snack when you go because you will be there a while getting different answers from different people. For a company that says they do it all from start to finish, they have NO CLUE as to what is going on or what they are doing.
They over sell everything so it’s always back ordered and constantly back pedal and reschedule. I’ve been waiting around all day for a delivery that’s already been rescheduled twice and just got a call that they need to reschedule. Now they’re throwing shade at ME because I’m not available tomorrow. Terrible business, shop ANYWHERE else if you ever expect to actually receive what you pay for.
Do not purchase furniture from this store. They will tell you one thing but do another. They make promises and break them, and their customer service is terrible. Plus many of their items can be found on Amazon or WalMart.com for much more affordable prices. As an example, one of the pieces I was waiting to be delivered for two and a half months was an Ashley signature coffee table. It kept getting delayed and delayed on the delivery date. They’d make excuses like “It’s still being built.” Or “They ran out of room on the delivery truck.” Finally I got so sick of them continuously pushing the delivery date back, so I cancelled the order. Went on Amazon and found THE EXACT SAME ASHLEY BRAND coffee table for less money and it was delivered in three days from the time I purchased it. The same thing happened with my daughter’s bedroom set. I originally bought her entire set at the Ashley store. But then after two months of waiting for it to be delivered and them changing the delivery day numerous times, I finally just cancelled my order, found the exact same Ashley brand Paxberry set on Amazon and had it delivered in three days. Ashley Furniture is a joke. And I’m STILL waiting for my refund … and the sofa I ordered two months ago still hasn’t arrived. Thinking about cancelling that too.
Im so glad i went into store in hopes of them making things right. I was loaded for a huge arguement as all previous attempts of a refund over 90 days, the months of corporate run arounds, and never any refund, call back, etc ever came. Was finally treated with respect and a resolution and sincere apologies from stores new manager. If your having problems with non delivered purchase, wrong items, no refund, i highly recommend you reach out at least 1 more time to new sales mgr Ross S. He is working hard to fix our Reno, Nv Moana Ln store. And give him a chance. I was a lost customer to this business, and was ready to take legal actions. Had a very unpleasant experience while shopping for a bed in September 2021. A salesperson planted himself in front of me while we were entering the store and became very rude when I asked if I could just look around. He then proceeded to stalk us through the entire store, never more than 20-30 feet away. It was honestly one of the creepiest experiences I've ever had while shopping for furniture, and I won't go back to that store. I thought that super-hard sell approach was dead and gone, but no, it's alive at Ashley's. I've had excellent experiences at Lazyboy and Basset's by comparison.
Couldn’t be more upset with Ashley HomeStore as a whole. The only reason I’m giving it a 1 star is because I had a so so experience in store, otherwise it would be less. I ordered my furniture in July and still haven’t received everything I purchased. I’ve had possibly 15 different phone calls with them pushing dates back of when I will get my furniture and every time it’s somebody new giving some type of attitude acting like I’m the inconvenience to them because they are incapable of giving a clear answer or provide any type of quality customer service. I just had two pieces of furniture get delivered today, to my surprise, because I’ve had 5 different phone calls about how the furniture that came today out of nowhere was suppose to be pushed back 6 days. I go down to meet the guys and they only have half of my order that wasn’t even suppose to be here in the first place. I was informed that I needed to call a number to let them know I only got half of the order today and to zero surprise as soon as I call the employee, Dave, he starts right out of the gate giving attitude. Couldn’t have been more unprofessional and hardly had the know how to track down my order to figure out what’s wrong. At this point, if I ever get my furniture it will be the last time I ever order from any Ashley HomeStore.
Run from this store with you money. Bunch of crooked people. They will overcharge you every single way possible. If you ever have to cancel an order, you will have to suffer big time. It will waste so much time of your life that you will have to regret forever. Worst company I have ever encountered in my life.
We went to Ashley’s in search of a living room couch. The store was well kept and the displays were attractive. I ended up finding a couch and coffee table that I liked. The only thing I was disappointed about was that I thought I was getting this great manager’s price, also since it was Labor Day weekend. When I got home, I looked up what I bought online and the prices were pretty comparable. I couch I bought was posted at the store for $1299 regular at half off. Online it was $849 on sale for $764. The table I got was $599 regular, which they sold to me for $300. Online it’s $349 regular on sale for $242. I would have done a price comparison, but reception was bad in the store and they didn’t have guest wifi.
Jane was efficient and thorough. I gave it a 4 star and not a 5 is because I tried calling the store for days and no one picked up.

I had a wonderful buying experience. Walked out with a whole bedroom set and a little more for a wonderful price. The service was really the best part of it tho. Mr. Buckner was very friendly and easy to talk to. Never did I feel pressured into buying something. There was also another lady and gentleman that help but I didn't get there name. They listened and ingaged in fun and enjoyable conversation. Recommend to go and ask for Mr. Buckner to help you set up your home. Thank you to these three people will be back. Well have to up date. So like I said it was a great experience, but it was all for not they are trying to not honor what they said. Evertime we call or go in they have an excuse of why we haven't or why we are not getting all that was in the package they made qith us. So if you would like to be lied to and deal with being ignored go to Reno Ashley's store.
Sean is an awesome Sales person. No pressure, gives honest opinions and very helpful. However, they delivery took forever. 3 times they rescheduled and when I finally got my furniture it smelled horrible. Smelled like chemicals. My house smelled for 5 days.
Nice Furnature at good prices the delivery experience leaves something to be desired. Scheduled then they called to say delivery was only 3 days after stuff arrived at the warehouse so they needed to reschedule moved it back 4 days due to the holiday then the next day sent an email saying I could move my delivery up. I then looked at the schedule to move up and there are no open days listed until October? Let's hope it arrives on time.
I received a phone call from Ashley Furniture to schedule my delivery for today. I was told that it would be scheduled for this afternoon and the time frame has come and gone. With reaching out to customer service, I was lied to and given the run-around. At this point, I just want to be refunded and shop for a coffee table somewhere else.
Staff needs to be better informed of warehouse shipments ie; store vs customer location. I was told 50% off to buy there vs online but the price given wasn't 50% off. Since my item wasn't in store to view I asked if delivery was made to the store and the color was not as shown in advertisement, could I refuse, I was told no, it's mine. Needless to say this was my second time attempting a purchase here, I won't return.
I ordered furniture from the Reno store that was going to take approximately 3 weeks to deliver. I changed my mind a few days later and called to cancel my order, but it has been impossible to get a hold of the store directly. Every time I tried, I would ultimately get transferred to the corporate customer service line. I told them to cancel my order. They said no problem, but after a couple weeks I received a call from the delivery people attempting to deliver the furniture. I checked and the money had not been refunded to my credit card. I called again and got a hold of a corporate customer service representative. They apologized and said that it is up to the local store to do the refund, but they would attempt to ask them to cancel it again. Corporate seems fine but the locally owned Reno store has issues.
What a terrible experience! I would give below a 1 if I could. The short version is we didn't like the height of the bed foundation we selected after delivery. Both the store and the sales person (Sean) would not pick up or return our calls. We called the national customer services people (each time was 30-45 minute on hold), they took our information and then strung us along for 2 weeks before saying they don't do exchanges or refunds on bed foundations or mattresses and we would have to deal with the LOCAL store. When I told them about the Reno store not answering their phone they said they would have the regional manager direct the store manager to call us. Never heard from them and have completely given up on Ashley furniture. We bought another foundation from a different store and are currently trying to sell the original foundation ourselves. I will never set foot in an Ashley store again!

Ordered a dining room set on 7/25/21 that was not in stock. It was scheduled it for delivery on 8/4/21. They rescheduled my delivery 4 TIMES!! Here it is 8/17/21 and they are pushing it out another week! DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING NOT IN STOCK! 😡🤬
The sales person was very helpful but the People at the end of the payment part was unorganized, the store had a 50% off cash sale but Exact change only. How Who carries $687.48 an exact change on them

Zero communication, zero follow-up, zero customer service, and zero resolution. Worst part is neither on-site team nor their remote customer service employees care about helping you, or even trying to keep you as a customer. Very robotic and unresponsive. It’s a shame, because I’m sure if I ever received the furniture, it would have been great. I feel bad for the employee that lost the commission on my order cancellation, but they also need to give realistic expectations on delivery process.
I had ordered a hibred bed. I had no idea they came in a small box. It was a surprise to me. . Anyways. It was a few days late but it did show up. Surprise!
Worst place i have been to buy my furniture. Super rude staff and not helpful at all. Furniture never gets delivered on time. I am still waiting for my furniture which i ordered 5 months ago. They neither pickup the call nor replies to emails. Manager Pam is a very arrogant and disrespectful lady. Employees here Make big commitments while customer is buying and once they get money they and their commitments vanish . Very unprofessional business in this competitve world . The sales person Austin was really good and the mgr on duty with him was good, but the furniture we received in delivery was damaged, the night stand was returned and the new replacement is also damaged, the dresser has a big gash in it, the footboard has a crack in it, trying to get the customer service to help is terrible, they said to get a person to come out to look at the damage would be a month away because as she said “we don’t have help for Carson City because we don’t have the business there to get a person out there to look at the damage pieces” then if the person decides they need to be replaced it will be another month or so to get the replacement pieces. This is not acceptable, poor customer service, when I said how about just taking everything back she said oh no once it’s placed in the house no return is allowed. You can believe we will NEVER do business with Ashley ever again.

Very friendly and helpful salesperson. I was surprised to hear that once you buy an item it can’t be returned. It would also be nice if there were a warehouse locally so that I could pick up my merchandise instead of paying quite a bit for delivery. The chair that I purchased seems to be of good quality.

Unfortunately a year ago I purchased a whole bedroom set, which was fast delivery and the staff was really super nice. It just that their bed is made super cheap wood. It broke. They said they were going to ship to replace the piece that broke off the bed in like 3 months. The bed just keeps breaking more. Dont waist your money in a bed. It's cheap. I don't recommend.
This is a terrible company, do not order anything from them because you will never seen your items. They will lie about the delivery date, then change it without your knowledge. They will use BS excuses like back order and covid. If I was able to give them 0 stars or negative star I would! They will also lie to you about submitting a "case" and they will give you a number too, but after all that, they will say wait 24-48 hrs. and someone will contact you...FYI no one will contact you!
What a nightmare of a store. Ashley in Reno. Austin, the sales guy was very good. From then on, POS place. We ordered a sofa, dining room table with 4 chairs then added a mattress and foundation. We were promised a specific delivery date, which we paid for, for 2 weeks into the future. 2 weeks came and went. We were then contacted our mattress was back ordered and everything would be delayed an additional 2 weeks. We talked to the ever elusive manager who then referred us to customer service which arranged to have everything but the mattress delivered the next week. It was. We received a message today saying we won’t get our mattress for another 3 weeks. Only an apology from customer service lady. No offer of compensation of any kind. We will pay a visit to the store this weekend and get our mattress money back and buy elsewhere. DO NOT buy anything from Ashley. They lie and cheat you then pretend you don’t exist. They will know I exist on Monday!!!

Sales is great and provide great customer service,but I am so disappointed in the amount to time their furniture gets delivered. We fell In love with a couch set and some coffee tables and purchased them back in May. We were told our furniture would come in by June. June comes around and they never called us for updates and we called them to make sure we were getting our delivery. They pushed it back to July. It is now July and we called them again only to be told we won't get it till August. So ridiculous and honestly after this we won't go to Ashley's again. The same thing happend to my sister.
I had a very positive experience with my salesperson Theo Williams. He patiently answered all my questions, and helped me find what I wanted. In addition to the sale going on, I also received further discounts with approval of his manager, who was also very friendly, professional and helpful. GREAT COUCH, ARRIVED A MONTH EARLY!
Had a good experience in store but was told my furniture would be delivered the next weekend. Then told 3 weeks later after I went online to ask. Then went to double check date and was told another month. No calls or anything. When I finally called got my partial order delivery date and have to wait more then two months for the rest. I understand there are back orders but the communication is the worst.
David was great to work with. He helped us figure out which furniture best fit our room and was able to give us a fair price. We never felt pressured or obligated to purchase. Very nice experience.
I had a great experience with my salesperson, Don. I would highly recommend him. However, the manager on duty was a nightmare to deal with. After dealing with her in-store, I arrived home to find that she did not print my second invoice (they split my order into two orders). I tried calling the store to no avail, so I contacted Ashley Furniture through the online chat feature. They confirmed that the second order was placed, but the chest of drawers for the bedroom set was not ordered. I finally was able to reach the store to have the error corrected. The manager told the individual who answered the phone that the chest of drawers was not part of the set, despite the fact that it was clearly listed in-store as part of the complete set. I was so shocked by the response that I could not respond at the time. The next day, I called them 15 times to no avail. I ended up using the chat feature again and canceled my complete order.
Terrible Service! If you have to shop here DO NOT BUY the furniture protection. It took 3 months of back and forth with their insurer for a broken bed slat (easy repair) and their solution was to give a credit that had to be used in less than a month that only covered a fraction of the replacement...and then didn't cover delivery/removal or the protection plan on the replacement for the remaining term
Store was slow when we arrived. Staff was friendly but was never asked if needed any help or questions! To busy doing there own thing/ sitting/ walking away.....Customer service sucks!! Walked out, took business elsewhere.
Do not shop here. They sold me a couch on June 12. Not only has it not been delivered, they can’t tell me when it’ll be ready. The customer service guy was nice, but didn’t know anything either. I went to the store in person to get a refund and they couldn’t even do that. “Our refund girl called out.” So I came back the next week and she was in. I explained the situation, showed her my receipt, and she said, “Oh that model has been discontinued. We don’t have it any more.” She gave me the refund, but only after I came there in person twice.
No stars....Worst customer service I have ever had. Ordered furniture back in March. Went back to store re: 2 nightstands. Typo - number doesn't exist. Waited all this time for delivery. Now have spoken to 4 people in 2 days about changing delivery I set up yesterday as I will now be out of town. No one can change the delivery and they say they can't deliver because the order is not complete - the 2 night stands that don't exist. I've now explained that to 7 people. I am now on eternal hold waiting to speak to a supervisor as Justin with Customer Service suggested I just go down to the store and cancel my order!!!!!!!!!! Seriously??????

No one should EVER shop here. We ordered a bed back in early May, and after the delivery date got pushed back multiple times due to a “back ordered part” we finally got it delivered. However, the sales representative only sold us ONE box spring for a cal king bed which clearly requires TWO. I have tried calling the hole store, the customer service line, and the delivery team line multiple times over the past two hours and have not gotten any resolution. I managed to speak to one person who worked in California and wasn’t able to help me, but DID tell me that I would probably have to pay for a new box spring and wait for delivery to fix it. The customer service here is AWFUL. I will never give them business again.

David has great attention to detail and took time to look at our photos to offer the best options available. He also worked out a great deal for our living room! 10/10 would recommend the reno store!!! We are from lake tahoe.

The absolute worst experience I have every had with a company. I order a sectional October of 2021, it is now June of 2022 and I’m still missing the main part of my sectional. The managers will lie straight to your face and tell you the item will be there next week and have the balls to tell you they never said that when you come to pick it up that next week. Please, if anybody is reading this, run away as fast as you can from this Reno store. They are a bunch of crooks and liars.

Salesman was polite. Left us to shop. Quickly responded when we had a question. That was the good part. Service / delivery after the sale was terrible. I received an email requiring a response within 24 hours to confirm the delivery date on Saturday around 4pm. I called to confirmed Sunday morning before 10am. The delivery never happened on the scheduled day. We waited at home for the delivery. Hours later we called and was told we never responded. We set another delivery date. That was delayed. 6+ weeks later we finally get our order. Meanwhile, I received a message every days saying; "Good News, would you like your order sooner?" Repairs take another couple of weeks. Spoke with the manager about the situation. I was simply a bother to her. Nothing she could do.

Would give ZERO STARS if possible. We bought our furniture 2/15 and were told 6-8 weeks for delivery. We waited the entire 8 weeks without any word so gave them a call 3/12, were told another month or so. Once again no word the whole month. Called 4/12 and were told we were finally having half our items delivered 5/6 and the other half 5/26. Once again, no updates or scheduled delivery confirmations in the meantime. Called 5/14 which the rep put me on hold for 25 minutes before hanging up on me. Called right back and was simply told by management that the phone lines do that sometimes, they could give me a gift card for the inconvenience. Absolute BS. This time they said we’re looking at 5/29 for the couches and 7/6 for the barstools. How can they constantly change delivery dates like that?? I understand manufacturers having issues keeping up with orders especially during covid but don’t lie to customers and drag them along like that. Called 5/21 and now told 6/14 estimated delivery. I can’t stand this company. Initially told 6-8 weeks so that they can get your money, and then more then double the amount of wait time later still no scheduled delivery date or apology for the neglect on their part. Do NOT do business with this company.
I have had two awful experiences with Ashley furniture both with shady lying salesman and horrible customer service. The most recent issue my wife and I went to go get a bed frame which they were having an awesome sale and when we didn't end up going with the more expensive bed frame the salesman started getting pushy. When we finally decided on the bed frame we wanted I made very clear that I did not want any insurance (last issue I had was over this). I had to take my son outside and have my wife go inside to finish the process to which the salesman told my wife I wanted to get the insurance. Later after saying no so many times he told my wife this is where he gets his commission and really wants us to get it. Finally he said he could get it for us for free and that our bed frame would be in in a month but never gave us a specific date. Called in to customer service to find out when turns out it won't be in for a couple months at the earliest and we were charged $99 for insurance on the bed frame. Shady as hell all around. Do not buy furniture here!

Would give 0 stars if possible. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. Everyone I know has had similar horrible experiences here. Bought a new home so decided to go to the Reno, NV location to buy some new furniture for the house.The ONLY good thing was the 60 months no interest financing, which I don't believe is something they always offer. Bought a bed and living room set in September 2020. Was told everything would be delivered in a month except for one piece of the couch which would be in two months. Was okay with that. I believe they hire third parties to do their deliveries since the truck that pulled up was blank, was two guys who didn't work directly for Ashley, showed up after the delivery window I was told, dropped the box with glass and shattered on my driveway, didn't offer to clean up all the glass, we didn't speak the same language which is fine except for it was hard to communicate with them and ask them if the glass will just come when the second piece of the couch came. (which it didn't) and the poor guys still had 9 deliveries to do that day! Tried to call Ashley and when you call it says if they don't answer in 15 minutes leave a voicemail (ridiculous) so i had to go online to the website to an agent (super disorganized different people would tell me different things each time) and explain what happened. The first glass replacement set they sent MONTHS later was damaged so i messaged them again explaining what happened.They seemed confused and sent MULTIPLE pieces of glass. THEN somewhere in the midst of confusion I never received the rubber pieces that kept all the glass from slipping. I had to go on their website and chat with an agent well over 5 TIMES and FINALLY got the rubber pieces in APRIL 2021. Buying from Ashley has been such a LONG & PAINFUL experience. I do not recommend you go there. They never offered any discounts for the hassle they put me through. The warehouse is out of California so you can't go pick it up yourself either or get same day delivery. Please heed my warning and save yourself the stress and go somewhere else.
Customer service is awful and they will lie to you about your delivery date to make a sale. Then as the date approaches they'll call and say its delayed another month but offer no options to compensate or at the very least return your calls. Had to cancel our order online with their chat feature because I couldn't get through to an actual representative. Do not go to this place! Still no furniture in our home because we got rid of it to make room for our delivery that obviously never happened!

Online store is a disaster. I went to Reno store and we should have went there first. Although online is same company they are independent of one another. Online gives you run around they promise things they do not follow up on. It was nice to deal with actual people that give you honest answers
My son and I went into the Reno NV store to buy furniture. We picked out a sofa and mattress. The sofa delivered was not the one we ordered. I called three times to get it corrected. No one was capable of helping me resolve the situation. I talked to the same woman at least two times and she could have cared less. I’m stuck with the wrong sofa and I’m very dissatisfied. I’ve, since bought five area rugs and several pieces of furniture all from other retailers other than Ashley. They lost all my business. I would highly recommend not buying anything from this store.

Great sales guy, good stuff. Reasonable prices. One big problem: there is no option to pick up furniture. They only deliver... this makes all pricing a lie... you must pay delivery - no choice in the matter. If you live in a rural location you can not buy here. They do NOT deliver at any price to more distant rural locations... and can't pick up anywhere... so you just can't buy from them. I chose what I wanted to buy, went to pay for it and ended up leaving with nothing as there was no way to take delivery / pickup anywhere.
Great deals and quality of furniture. If you can get past the normal floor salesman shadowing you and asserting themselves in your conversations out of nowhere then you'll have a great experience buying furniture with great deals. We found a simple full living room set with couch loveseat and tables with accents for $1100!!
Carlos was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the bedroom furniture and mattress I purchased. Pam (I think that is her name) went above and beyond to give me a good deal on my purchase. The furniture I purchased seems solid and good quality. I will be back to furnish additional rooms.

Buyer beware! Ashley has a no returns policy, which they failed to mention as I was purchasing furniture. You better make sure your furniture will fit in your space and/or it’s exactly what you want. Once it’s in your house, it’s yours. I will never shop at Ashley again.

Went into the store in January the salesman was very kind great customer service but we were told we would get our couch April 1st since we hadn’t received a call or text I had to call and ask and they said they pushed it back to April 12th I had to call again today to make sure we were going to receive the couch and they told me they pushed it back AGAIN to May 5th but they aren’t completely sure because it could get pushed back again.
Very large showroom. The ratio of sales people to customers is off. I went in one day to look at some recliners to purchase. A nice gentleman was helping me and mentioned he could get a good deal for me. He went to help someone else and by the time I was leaving I couldn't find him. Went back a week later and didn't see him. We ended up with this other person. I mentioned about getting a deal since I was buying 2 chairs. I was told that the price is the lowest already. We still bought the chairs but I felt like no one is on the same page. A week after the purchase I saw online the same chairs but cheaper. I was able to get a price adjustment.

This was our second visit to Ashley Home Store because the first time we did not bring our measurements with so it has been about 3 months and we are back. Looking at all the new arrival we went back and got the sectional we wanted the first time. The sales people were quite nice about leaving us alone so we could look around. When we made the decision if was fast and easy.
Yay! so excited to walk out with our new couch today! Great selection of all furniture and decor so we added a nice rug to our purchase! Frank was awesome! Cant wait for delivery!

I am not one to give one star reviews lightly, but I have to say in this case it was absolutely earned here. My wife and I purchased a chair and a dresser here in January. We were told they would be delivered early February. That’s a perfectly understandable time frame. A week later we found a faster way to get a dresser so we canceled that and still kept our order for the chair. Our delivery day comes and goes and we were never contacted. I called up the store and was told the chair is back ordered and now it will be delivered to us in March 15. March 15th comes and goes and still no contact. I call them today, a week later and was told it was back ordered again. Now they are telling us “it will be here some time in May”. Again no contact and it seems like they were just hoping we forgot we bought it. I completely understand supply chain issues, that’s just a part of business; but to just not contact your customers and be transparent with them completely destroyed any faith I had for this company. It’s ridiculous to treat your customers this way. To top it all off, the dresser that we canceled back in January has still not been refunded. This company has been keeping our money for months and every time I speak to someone about it they pass the blame onto another department. I highly recommend you take your business elsewhere. There are plenty of places in town to buy furniture with much better communication and customer service. This company has no accountability and giving them your business only makes them think they can get away with it.

And today, March 18th makes the fourth (4th) delivery date they have failed to meet, and of course they never even bothered to call that they will not be showing up. Constant excuses, like greyhounds forever trying to catch the mechanical rabbit. It now has been 8 weeks since they were paid. They have repeatedly missed my delivery date, did not even call to let me know, on each occurance, and when I asked what options I had I was told I could always cancel the order....a polite way to be ignored? You also can not call the store where you made your phrchase. Major thumbs down on their word and their customer service. Purchased and paid for on January 8, promised on February 22, then again on March 8, now moved to March 30....
I’m only giving one star because I had no other choice. Came in on Presidents’ Day. Had a sales person, Sean. Had to many customers. Was waiting at least 30 minutes. He was dealing with two other customers. I had a super nice other sales person ask if I needed help. Told him about my wait. Asked me if I had any questions while waiting. Oh my goodness Sean high tailed over and basically said to him that’s my customer. Sean could not show me other colors of what I wanted to purchase. Computer issue. Said he would get back to me in a couple days. Nothing!! Called and left a message for a supervisor to call me on February 26. Today is March 5 and I still have not received any calls. Not a happy camper!!!!!!!
Do not expect your furniture anytime close to the delivery date they give you! I got lucky and they did bring my mattress, which is on the floor because they have not delivered the foundation or the actual bed. So disappointed! It will be almost a month later than originally scheduled! Nice furniture..terrible delivery schedule!
I love Ashley furniture! The salesman that helped me was really nice patient with my indecisiveness! He was really helpful and knew the product thru and thru! The best part is he worked hard to get his manager to help me a little extra on the cost so I could get everything I needed! Thanks Sean! This store does not deliver what you order. My daughter placed a huge order with them in November 2020 and yesterday they canceled the order.
Purchased a couch from Hayes, who was fantastic. He showed me every model they had with a reclining feature. He knew right where they were and didn't have to search around, proving to me he knew what he was doing. I settled on the last one he showed me (sorry), which was extremely comfortable and affordable. I recommend going and seeing him as he knew a lot about more than just sofas. Thanks bud.

I was greeted by a salesman upon entering that's fine it's a furniture store, however I wasn't expected to be badgered. I was asked why I had a backpack, and why I was taking photos, directed to me in quite a harsh and accusatory manner. Considering that furniture is kind of a life choice it helps to have a visual representation. The guy acted like I was going to walk out of the store with a love seat cramped in my tiny backpack. I won't be going back, apart from the customer service the furniture didn't look anything better than the standard Walmart affair.
I’ve never been so disrespected in my life. Sean was way too pushy to begin with. Didn’t even allow us to breath or look around. Rushed us to make a decision. Had no manners. He actually looked bored and frustrated to be there. He started working on the paperwork before we were able to make the decision we wanted. When it came to the time of the sale we decided to not buy the desk (we were pressured into to begin with) he said we could “just pay $10 that day so he wouldn’t get talked to”. Still said no. He laughed in our face. Said “wow can’t even put $10 down.” Proceeded to crumble the paper work and laugh in our face as he walked away. Talked to his manager which I honestly felt like she could care less. Said she “would talk to him”. Honestly disgusted with that place. I’ve been a loyal customer for years and have never been treated like that. I’ll be buying from other furniture places in the future. If you decide to go there DONT GO WITH SEAN!
TAKE YOUR MONEY AND RUN LIKE HELL! If I could rate negative I would. We ordered a couch and the delivery date was pushed back twice. Then when the couch was finally delivered it was not what we purchased! After two months of not having furniture in our living room we find it’s the wrong couch but we had been charged for another. Plus $250 for delivery. We have spent hours on hold with corporate and then the line goes dead. We have left messages and no call back. Our salesman “Frank” said he would “take care of us”. All calls to his phone went straight to voicemail. We will never buy here again.
Absolutely the worst costumer service ever. They have zero respect for the client. Their lack of professionalism is speechless. Please take your money somewhere else where they give you the respect and time that you deserve for the price and quality of produc that you are paying for.
I didn’t get my delivery on the date they told me and when they suggested me to apply for the credit card they offer never mention that the “special” 12 months without interest didn’t apply on the credit card so I end up paying more because neither Genesis the company that is the one who gives the credit card inform the client that they don’t give the special that Ashley offered at the store, is a nightmare to go and try to speak with the store customer service because they treated us like if we are the responsibles of all the issue and they never accept the irresponsibility, they even ask me the name of the first supervisor I spoke with when I went to complain the first time and they never introduced themselves at the customer service, they offered me as a compensation to remove $100 from the delivery costs and I never got that discount, I never will go back to that store, they lied and never gives the promotions they offered and you will find out that until you got the bill. Worst store in town

I have absolutely no idea how people got 5 star service from them. There’s nothing I can say that someone always hasn’t said, constant rescheduling without notice, no communication what so ever, when you finally get someone on the phone be prepared to waste hours of your life for no results. Incomplete deliveries after promises with months of waiting of “this time they’ll all be there”. I truly wish I could go back before I ever stepped foot in their store, just a downhill experience the whole way. Someone should make 0 star reviews a thing, I can’t think of anyone more deserving. Granted their sales reps should get a 5 star review for their acting, I spent 5 grand and walked out thinking I was actually going to get my money’s worth.
Horrible experience... I hope the manager reads this because I will not be going back. My order was delay. Been calling multiple times about my last item and it’s dam near imposible to get a hold of someone. They really need to work on their customer service because buying something shouldn’t be a burden.

If I could give 0 starts I would. This place has the worst costumer service they never answer their phones. They also lie about delivery dates. Lost 2 days of work because of false delivery dates that they kept escheduling just to change it after I had freed my schedule. Ended up canceling my order after 2 months of waiting and Ashley changing my delivery date 4 times just to tell me my couch is on back order an they will let me know when it arrives. Which at this point is just easier to get a couch from somewhere else that will actually have it. Glad I cancelled all my almost 4k order. This place should not be open at all.
After waiting 2 months. Getting told by a different person each time we went to the store why our furniture was held up and a few emails saying the same thing, we have had enough. Canceled the order and will never shop at Ashley again. Absolutely the worst service ever.
I hate writing bad reviews but I'm beyond angry with Ashley Furniture. I've never been lied to like I've been lied to by this company. Hands-down the worst experience I've ever had with any retailer. Buyer beware. All Ashley Furniture cares about is getting your money.
So first off I am aware that there is a pandemic going on and because of that certain things are not prioritized so one will have to wait longer. What I am questioning is why isn’t Ashley’s customer service also aware and up front with that. I ordered the couch during the first week of October and was told that delivery would be similar to Halloween by the on-site sales and leadership team. Halloween comes and goes so I reach out to the CSR team and they advise that now it will be after Thanksgiving due to a back log. Once again I understand the back story but never hear Ashley furniture acknowledge it and then blame the manufacturer for shortage with their resources. We adapt and overcome with the situation. Thanksgiving comes and goes and this time the CSR team reaches out to advise delivery will not be until after December 13th but can guarantee it this time. They advised once closer to the date they will call with exact time. I am easy and merely ask that it is placed in my account info “customer is unable to accept delivery on December 22nd due to son’s birthday.” The CSR team is able to work with that and advises it will be before. Now as someone who is an Ops manager and has handled internal escalations due to customers interactions with CSR teams I understand there is sometimes things that can and can not be done. So guess when I get the text message advising delivery for December 22nd during the time of 3p-7p how thrilled I was. Guess when I called the CSR team and was told it is either that day or another week how thrilled I was. When the rep who was on the phone that got the attitude told me I could cancel the order and go somewhere else to get what I needed how thrilled I was. When I advised in the sales order it was actually written when delivery would be made and being told they didn’t care how thrilled I was. Look this company is not in a position where they can honor their commitments, which is putting a strain on their CSR teams and causing them not to care. I know this probably won’t defer from a good deal or something but unless you don’t care about being punk around and have all the time in the world to wait then please go somewhere else. The company no longer cares about the customer, does not care about agreements or contracts they previously entered into or much of anything else.
DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! ITS TAKEN HALF A YEAR FOR DELIVERY. With how high the delivery cost is for the store one would expect the deliveries to be on time and all accounted for, the fact that they are not indicates poor management and salesmanship. If you cannot deliver on the day that was set, don't charge such a huge amount for deliveries. Or instruct your sales team to give an accurate idea of how very long the delivery windows can be, and to discourage special order products if your having warehouse issues. Update: Chairs to dining room table were rotten on delivery so the delivery guys took them on their request. Then our couch was delayed again for another two months. I have never in my life dealt with a worse buying experience, you cant call for help, both corporate and local phones ring endlessly, the store manager is on "Vacation" every time we go in, on different months, 3 different times. and to top it off with a very very BIG WARNING, you cannot get a refund without applying for it! YOU HAVE TO WAIT FOR A REFUND, DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY MONEY!!! Update 12/18/2020 We have gotten 2 new shipping dates and each time the table we ordered came broken in the box, which is about 3 months of waiting for this table plus the original waiting time on the furniture has accumulated to about 1 year of waiting on Ashley shipping. I would advise strongly to get furniture elsewhere.
Sadly I can't put 0 stars cause the they keep giving me different dates to deliver a bed set that I purchased back in July now we are waiting to see if they deliver in January and that is a maybe wow terrible they can't even call me I have to keep calling to see why it hasn't been delivered and they tell me oh we changed delivery date terrible
Worst place to buy furniture! Don't give them your money! They don't deliver on date listed on contract, when they do deliver the do in portions... 2 months and still waiting. What good is a partial delivery when it comes to furniture, this place is clueless to what they are doing.

I want to emphasize that the in-store customer service I received was exemplary. Unfortunately after that things have gone steadily downhill. Moved to Reno in early October and bought a sectional at this store. The salesperson informed us that due to COVID disruptions in supply chains our delivery date would be in mid-November. Not optimal, but these are hard times for everybody. Two days before our scheduled delivery I received a call telling me that the item we'd ordered was on backorder and that our original delivery date would be pushed back 10 days. Ok, fine. Two days before the rescheduled delivery date I receive another call telling me that delivery has been postponed another 10 days. Today I receive a phone call telling me that delivery - which has already been rescheduled twice - has been pushed back another 17 days. I spoke to someone on the customer service line and all they couldn't tell me when or if the items I ordered would be back in stock and available for delivery. They suggested I call back closer to my new delivery date in mid-December. I'd be willing to stake a sizeable sum that when doing so I'll be told about another two-plus week delay. At this point I wouldn't be surprised if delivery doesn't take place until February or March. I understand that COVID has made everything chaotic but I ordered several other large appliances (and a bed) from different vendors in mid-October and all were delivered promptly and without incident. Do better guys.
Customer service is terrible and unresponsive Disputed charge with VISA, who also tried to contact, and Ashley did not response. Bank credited my account for purchase due to Ashley's failure to respond (to bank) Ashley is now trying to collect full price from me for the damaged furniture they delivered. Unbelievable incompetence!
We purchased our furniture out right and confirmed items were in the warehouse. Scheduled delivery 11/18/2020, confirmed appointment the sunday prior within 10 min of getting delivery confirmation email. And received notice it was confirmed. Wednesday cane and gone.....no furniture.....thursday morning......no furniture. 6 hrs spent thurs trying to get a hold of store. Custoner serbice through 1800 is useless. We have been told our items are at the warehouse (mind you spent enough to get free shipping) and no one knows why it was NOT delivered we are secheduled for Dec 3rd. We needed the furinture for the holidays which is why we selected them for furniture. NEVER EVER AGAIN. Employees ignore the phone even when the store is empty and when not with customers. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!! Review will be updated to let you know how this turns out!
I recieved defective furniture, and they damaged my floors when assembling. Neither the store nor Ashley Customer Care has resolved the issues, despite dozens of calls and emails. Customer service is as bad as the furniture itself - that is to say, pure garbage.

I was blatantly lied to! By multiple sources, explanation below... Purchased a recliner on October 1st, 2020 with a delivery of Mid-November. Around the first of November I messaged Ashley Furniture to verify delivery ETA. Was informed at that time the delivery was scheduled for the 13th of November. On Tuesday, November 10th, I received text/responded accordingly for confirmation of delivery scheduled for the 13th. On Thursday, I had not yet been contacted with a delivery time slot, therefore stopped by the store to verify. At that time I was notified the delivery was scheduled between 12:30 PM and 4:30 PM. SO.... I took time off work to be home for the delivery. Lo and behold, the delivery never arrived. In addition, I received no communication advising a delay. I submitted multiple requests via message as well as a request for a return phone call for delivery status. It is now Sunday, November 15th. After numerous attempts to find out the status, I was informed by a message technician that it was found out on Friday, November 13th, the item was not available for delivery and that the item is on back-order until January 10th, 2021.

If I could rate this place a zero I would. I payed in cash for my sectional, and bought sectional the first weekend of September, they told me it was back order and they will be available to deliver the sectional on October 8 that to me seemed liked a really long time. I was understandably due to the pandemic so I was like okay that’s fine the 8 came by and I got called they they still haven’t received the sectional that they had to wait till the 16 8 more days is not a long time the date came by and they delayed once again, this time they said the 28, so we are here today I got the confirmation of the sectional arriving today I was great I’m so excited, and hour before my estimated time of delivery I get a call saying they can’t deliver its back order but they can deliver it on November 19, this is ridiculous this is to much hassle, I need the delivery fee to be completely waved, I’m never buying from this place again terrible customer service and delivery times, not worth the hassle
When we first came, the people working was nice but our problems came after purchasing. Waited a month for it to come, then it was delayed another week. When it did finally arrive part of it was broken on the inside, you can feel where the wooden borads have snapped. Also the wrong brackets was installed so the side part won't attach with the rest, and they also sent the wrong sofa cushion. The delivery guy knew some of these problems and said a tech would call us back in about 30mins which never happened. So we called the next morning and they said it will take up to 2 weeks for a tech to show up. Which most likely will be just to inform us that it has to be replaced which will probably take another month. So its gonna take about 3months to finally get what I paid for. Update: Was told that parts where coming so I can fix it myself, its been a month and nothing so far at this point I should just return it or try to get a refund.

This store is ridiculous, poor phone system, they disconnect you while waiting to speak with someone regarding an order. Been waiting 2 months and can't speak with a manager to resolve issue. They are quick to take your money but no accountability while seeking explanations or assistance.
They have great furniture. A bit pricey but nice. They don't take the old furniture though.
I purchased living room and bedroom sets from then including a heating furnace. Within less than a year the coffee table started shaking and is ready to fall apart. The fire furnace does not work and we’ve never used it. Tried to get them sorted out and nothing can be done about the coffee table and no one has contacted us about the fire furnace after they sent someone to look at it and even after we went to the store. I was told someone will contact me within 48 to 72 hours and now it’s two weeks. Still nothing. Ashley furniture is a very big company and they are sending defective items to customers know they are defective and when you try to get help you are being sent around the corner.
This place is a disaster. It took 4 attempts spanning 70 days to deliver everything that we ordered. The installers damaged about 1out 3 items. The quality of the furniture is terrible, most of it is particle board and super flimsy. If you need to spend double the price to get your furniture from somewhere else, please do it and don't make the same mistake we did.

Ashley's furniture is quick at taking your money. I have a refund pending in which nobody wants to help process the refund. Nobody answers the phone. They keep passing the buck. The corporate office only has a voice mail line. Im so upset.
The sales rep was efficient and quick to process my order. She also thanked me for asking for her as I had been in before and had her business card. My experience was easy and I.appreciate that.
I had a lot of problems with the corporate Ashley Home office. However, I went to the Ashley HomeStore in Reno and found a really excellent Sales representative (Toni) who quickly learned what we needed and wanted. She went right to work clearing the problems with corporate and worked out a furniture purchase that was much better than I expected. My wife and I will be purchasing additional items for our new house and will definitely contact her first.
I came to the Reno Ashley with the purpose of buying a couch and love seat with electric foot rest. I found the one I liked in there showroom.Toni the sales lady new I wanted a electric foot rest the couch had all I wanted. When it was delivered 2 months later but can agree that wasn’t stores fault. I got it home tried figuring how to plug in no plug on either couch or love seat it was Manuel ok so I called Toni sales lady who was rude told me that’s what I ordered, she new what I wanted said the manager would call me he must have no backbone because he never called never buy from Reno I plan on buying more furniture from different location Toni lost our sale very rude and a weak store manager
My wife and I keep trying to get someone at the store to answer the phone with no luck. This store is clearly not interested in any business over the phone.
Recently visited this location to purchase a dining room Set and a bedroom set. when are first arrived a rep approached us and we expressed to him what we were looking for and told him to give us a few minutes as we browsed. After a little bit of looking around and eventually we found what we wanted and we showed the rep who of course started to help us out. First of all, we showed him the dining table set (A 6-piece set: a table+4 chairs & a bench) that we wanted and he "noted" it on his iPad/device. Next we showed him the bedroom set and he took note of this as well. When time came to checkout I honestly do not know what or how he entered our stuff in the system but somehow we ended up with a 5-piece dining set (missing the bench). I was very upset at the rep who helped because he screwed up our order by not adding all the items, charging our card twice, and also giving us a delivery date that apparently "they don't deliver" and on top of that the contact info he gave us did not work. Our delivery date was also somehow magically changed without our knowledge and nobody notified us. When we contacted the store they gave us some lame excuse despite us expressing our frustrations given that we had already sold our old furniture and I am currently pregnant. After this experience I do not think I will be making any more purchases from any Ashleys furniture store. This was a very unpleasant experience and the way it was handled was beyond unprofessional.
UPDATE: Canceled my order and am now awaiting refund. I purchased a couch from the Reno store on July 19. I was told the delivery would be delayed because of Covid19 but I would be contacted to set up date. I have never been contacted and today (8/10) spent the afternoon trying to contact the manager of the store directly and no one has picked up the phone. I called numerous times and the phone just rings and finally goes to call center. Real person at call center told me that as of today there are no available delivery dates in my area until after October and that my couch was available and could have already been delivered to my home. I paid $119.00 for premium delivery which is a joke. My issues were forwarded to another office with with a promise of them calling me back today. I have received NO phone call and at this point will be driving to the store and canceling my order.
Horrible Horrible Horrible! Would Give zero stars if I could. Sold us a chair that was discontinued. Nobody bothered to let us know. Waited six weeks for a chair that was never going to show up. This is the last of several customer service issues we have had with Ashley. Based on other experiences with Ashley, it will be a battle to get a refund on our down payment too. I will shop elsewhere going forward. I should have made this decision a long time ago.
Came in for a sectional prices were so great and great selection left with a dining room too ! Still saved a lot of money downside it’s taking almost 2 mo to have all of it delivered. :( I’m sure i won’t care once I have my stuff.
We drove from Bishop California to Reno. Salesman talked a good talk got the sale and that’s where all customer service stopped worst communication, customer service, never returned call. Then had the nerve to say before refund had to review ehh my sister wanted her money back Don’t shop there unless you want to get tobbed

The staff here are always so very friendly and helpful! We are able to browse without much hassle but the staff can always tell when we're looking to buy for real. This visit we were helped by Frank and he was very friendly, patient, and helpful when we expressed the need to buy multiple pieces of furniture.

This store should just close if they can’t do their jobs right. I understand covid is a thing and it’s effecting everyone but I purchased a couch well over a month ago. I was given a scheduled date and time frame it would be delivered which I was told was going to be far out do to covid. Well the day has came and I have not received my couch, which I took the day off for, or any notifications on why. I called the call line and they told me that the couch won’t be here for another month. Why wasn’t I told this? Why was my tracking available on the couch until around one in the morning the day of the delivery? They had over a month to notify me if something was going to be delayed or postponed and I haven’t heard a thing from them. They even sent me a notification to review them online but they can’t even tell me where my $1800 couch is. Absolutely unprofessional.

Nice store and furniture but you can't buy anything there and take it home. You have to order it from California and they don't deliver to June Lake. Unfortunate situation as I have gift cards that are usable. Very disappointed.
I liked a few items in the store. My sales person really didn't have a personality. You kinda feel like a prey and sharks are all around you. There's more sales people than customers.

I give them a point for being friendly and professional however that is where the praise stops. I went in looking for a couple accent chairs. After looking around at a extremely limited selection, I found an unmarked chair that fit my needs. This chair had no information on it though so I had to go find an employee to look it up so I could get a price. And what they told me could only be described as unrealistic. $350 for 1 accent chair before tax. Plus an additional delivery charge over $100. Now let me be clear here. I needed 2 accent chairs. The only requirements were I needed two simple chairs with arms. I wasn't looking for anything super special. And this store wanted a little over $900 for them. I'm not looking for a fully automated lazy boy recliner with built in massage system and heater that will recline at the push of a button. I need a simple chair. It doesn't have to do anything other than allow me to sit in it. And they want almost a grand for 2!? Those chairs better do my taxes for that price. After shopping around a bit more I ended up in a better furnishing store and found 2 similar accent chairs for $150 each and a $50 delivery charge. It was almost the same chair but it had a different material for the fabric which I actually preferred. I paid $350 and got 2 chairs I am happy with and am also happy with my purchase elsewhere over spending a ridiculous amount at Ashley. And to Ashley themselves, maybe reconsider your prices. You are charging high end prices for even low end furniture. And at this point I would not be likely to return my business to your store.
We wait over a month for our furniture to be delivered and when the delivery dates came no delivery after the 3rd failed delivery we asked for our money back and it was pain try to get that back.
I ordered a new bed last month to be delivered tomorrow 7/22/2020. When I made the in store purchase, I had to update my address. I signed multiple documents stating there was a change in address. The old address they had was from 4 years ago. I got my text/ email and call confirmation today for my delivery tomorrow. The call came in before 8am. I called immediately, as that address they had was incorrect. I was on the phone for 45 min correcting the issue. After dealing with that, I got another 3 calls, text and emails again confirming the wrong address. So I called again. When I spoke with the second person. They stated that my delivery for August (for a couch) had been updated but not the bed. I was on the phone for another hour again fixing the incorrect address. He confirm my delivery for tomorrow for the correct address. So I was surprised when yet another call came in and the person told me the bed would not be delivered until Friday. I explained that I had already got rid of my bed and was going to have to sleep on my floor (I don't have carpet, its a hardwood) for several days if they didn't deliver tomorrow. Not only that but I took off work for the delivery. They stated that even though the updated address is only 10.7 miles away from the old incorrect address, that they would not be delivering tomorrow. The lack of customer service in their delivery department and zero accountability for their mistake will keep me from making future purchases. As well as making sure to tell people about the horrible experience I have had with them. I only pray that my couch delivery is not the same. UPDATE 7/23/2020: I was very upset that my delivery was pushed to Friday. But in the end, I accepted that change. But today is Thursday and I have not received confirmation of my delivery today as I did before. So, I called the store again to confirm my delivery for tomorrow. As on Tuesday I did get one text and phone confirmation stating it would be delivered Friday July 24th (on Tuesday). When I get someone on the line after holding for 20 min. I give the lady my information. She stated she has a note that I was suppose to call the Reno store. I told her that I spoke with Eric who called me about the change in delivery. But was never told I needed to call anyone else. She puts me on hold and after about 10 min I get hung up on. So, I again call back. I speak with a different girl who got my information and stated I am in fact NOT set for delivery for tomorrow. I told her I need to speak with someone who can fix that. She asks me to hold. And again i get hung up on. I am beyond angry at this point. And I am currently on hold again waiting for someone to pick up.

Toni was expecting me and could not have been More gracious as I looked throughout the entire showroom . I selected one that wouldn’t be available for over a month. She arranged for me to purchase the floor model- increasing my savings!!

Shady practices going on at the Reno store. Was told we would have our furniture in 3 weeks, on a certain date. Certain date came and nothing. Gone and past. We called customer service and they now say it won’t be delivered unfortunately 3 MONTHS. We donated our couch in anticipation for the date we were told. So we requested a refund and even that is apparently a challenge. They don’t just refund you, no they open a case. Over it. Spent way too much money to be lied to and taken through a game.
Bed set came in much later than expected and with missing parts. Calling over the phone will just leave you on hold for 20 minutes before it takes you to voice mail.
I was very pleased with the attention and assistance I received at Ashley. I was happy with the sale pricing, but more so when I was encouraged to compare other vendors. But I respected how confident my salesperson Was that I’d return for the deal offered.
This is the absolute worst company to deal with. We ordered furniture on their website May 30, 2020 and were set up for delivery June 20. We waited around all day for the delivery after we had received multiple messages via email, text, and automated phone call that we were confirmed for delivery. Nothing showed up. After days of calling Ashley Furniture’s phone number (where you never speak to a human) we had left multiple messages and no one called us back. Finally, we reached a human who told us that our delivery date had been changed to July 2. No one at their company bothered to tell us of this change. Now July 2 rolls around and we have confirmations again via text, email, and a REAL HUMAN that our delivery would arrive between 12:00 and 4:00pm. So we waited...and again NOTHING. No show, no call...nothing. We have left over 8 messages with their “customer service” voicemail and have yet to receive a call back. At this point I feel like we have been swindled out of $4,000!
We were looking for a large seat recliner. I checked a couple of furniture stores and none of them had them. I checked online and Ashley Furniture had several different types of chair. We made an appointment and the service was great. The sales person knew exactly what and where the type of recliner was located in the store. We looked at a couple and sat in them. Found the one we wanted and bought it. Had a great experience in a short time.
I needed assistance with an item I ordered; the Reno store manager called me back promptly even with low staff during COVID and went above and beyond to help me.

We had such a wonderful experience at the Reno show room. Frank helped us out and he was the BEST. He listened to what we needed, he worked with our price, he was friendly and knowledgeable. Any time we need furniture in the future, we’ll be coming back to see Frank.
Went in to buy a recliner. The salesman tried to upsale me on the delivery service. Said I couldn't assemble chair by myself. Cost an extra 80 dollars. Also couldn't deliver chair for 2 weeks. I go to the website and get the chair faster and without the assembly. Assembly required 0 tools. The back just snapped onto the seat. The salesman must work on commission and upsell. it was an awful experience being taken advantage of. The chair is nice. Go to store to find what you like but buy it online. They don't deserve your commission if they don't treat you with respect.

I was informed my furniture would be here on June 17th, 2020. I even received a text message and phone call stating my furniture would arrive on the appropriate day........... June 17th is here and my furniture is not. I called the store 10 times and corporate 20 times today "NOT KIDDING" and finally 8 hours later I spoke to someone. I was informed my furniture would be delayed another 30 days delivery on July 14th, 2020........... SO I AM NOW WAITING 60 DAYS FOR MY FURNITURE...... I DEMANDED MY FURNITURE BE DELIVERED AND THE RESPONSE I WAS GIVEN "MY HANDS ARE TIED I CANT HELP YOU" A formal compliant has been filed I will never ever conduct business with Ashley furniture again...... DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID..... GO SOMEWHERE ELSE FOR YOUR FURNITURE THIS COMPANY IS HORRIBLE. I AM SURE THEY HAVE ALREADY SPENT THE MONEY I PAID......... AND YET NO FURNITURE FOR ME........ 60 DAYS what a joke.

We bought a bedroom set here last week and the sales lady assured us that the set up and delivery guys would carry our dresser and mattresses down to our garage as my wife just had a baby and my back is shattered. Well.... the delivery guys show up and say "it's not our job". I had family members warn me about Ashley and they will tell you anything in store to get you to buy then it all changes. We refused the furniture and sent it back and next time we need furniture we will build it ourselves before even considering Ashley. Bad business practices all day!
Delivery charge is too high. A $700 chair is $1000 out the door, delivered.
Do not go to Ashley for anything. LONG STORY.. We have spent well over $10,000 here, furnished 3 different apartments and our now house. Always bought the extra insurance. When our dog chewed up our year old couch cushion, we called their insurance and they said they don't cover pet damage, witch is fine. They said we would have to go to a store to buy a new cushion. So we went to this store and they said we had to buy one through insurance, and that was a 5 phone call loop we went through of the store and insurance saying we would have to go to the other to buy one. Finally a "manager" at this store basically tells us they can't sell us a cushion for a couch they still have on display and that we basically have to buy a new couch. Just the whole process is annoying, and if the cushion got torn through an acceptable insuarnce claim they can send us a new cushion. so clearly they have the ability to make a single cushion but refuse to sell one. So we did replace our couches just not with Ashley.

I stopped here for a look-see. I'm thinking about getting an easy chair that fits me. I haven't furniture shopped in years so I'm really out of the loop. I was greeted when I walked in. Told the gentleman what I was looking for. He knew the merchandise because he took me right over to the section I needed. I 'tried on' a lovely chair but it didn't really fit as I'm such a shorty. I am able to have a better idea of what to look for now & have an idea of prices. Thanks .....
I wish there were negative star options, as this was a miserable experience! Purchased a bedroom set online April 3rd, still don't have all the pieces. Delivery has been scheduled, take time off work to accept delivery, but no delivery, which has happened 3 times. Each time, after waiting on hold for over an hour to speak with someone, they put us on hold to "check on it", then hey hung up on. We have no idea when the remaining items will be here. No response, just keep getting emails to accept the delivery day/time, then never see delivery arrive. It appears, this is the case with many other customers as well by reading reviews. We just got an email stating the remaining items aren't available until June 22nd and delivery will be scheduled as thedate approaches. Meanwhile, we have or living room full of random boxes and pieces to the set, thus, having or living room inaccessible. This has been the worst experience ever. I highly recommend not purchasing anything from Ashley Home Furnishings, just as so many others.
I am very disappointed!!! I purchased a bedroom set as a divorce present to myself a few months back. I was 2 weeks late. I was promised a certain payment date but they can't correct it. I had made a call to Ashley and never received a call back. EVER. I will never do business there again.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Everybody is sooo nice when they are trying to make a sale. But the next day I had to get a price match refund and try to add a furniture protection plan because they screwed me. It has been 3 weeks since I bought it and the manager still hasn't refunded me, and refused to sell me a protection plan/warranty because it was after-the-sale.
I WENT THERE YESTERDAY AND PURCHASED A BEDROOM SET. THE SALES ASSOCIATE CARLOS WAS HELPING ME. MY CREDIT WAS RAN AND I WAS APPROVED FOR $1,000. ON MY PAPERWORK HE LISTED ALL THE ITEMS EXCEPT FOR THE VANITY SET WHICH I CLEARLY STATED I WANTED IT. THAT WAS THE SOLE REASON FOR ME PURCHASING THE BEDROOM SET. ON TOP OF HAVING MY CREDIT RAN ONCE (WHICH I JUST REPAIRED) I HAD TO HAVE IT RAN AGAIN THROUGH THEIR IN-HOUSE FINANCE COMPANY “ACCEPTANCE NOW” WHICH APPROVED ME FOR $2,000. NOT ONLY DID I HAVE MY CREDIT RAN TWICE IN ONE DAY. BUT NOW I HAVE 2 DIFFERENT AUTOPAYS SET UP FROM 2 DIFFERENT LENDERS WITH 2 DIFFERENT INTEREST RATES. THE SALES ASSOCIATE WAS NOT OUT TO HELP THE CUSTOMER. HE WAS SOLEY OUT “TO MAKE THE SALE”. WHEN MY HUSBAND BROUGHT THE UHAUL UP THAT WE RENTED CARLOS WAS LOADING THE FURNITURE UP ON THE TRUCK BY HIMSELF. NOT TO MENTION THERE WAS OTHER SALES ASSOCIATES AVAILABLE THAT WAS DOING ABSOLUTELY “NOTHING”. THEY WATCHED ON AS HE WAS LOADING IT BY HIMSELF. ANOTHER EMPLOYEE THAT WORKS THERE SENSED MY IRRITATION FROM BEING THERE MULTIPLE HOURS AND HAD THE AUDACITY TO MAKE THIS REMARK “OTHER ASSOCIATES HERE WONT HELP HIM BECAUSE THEY DONT LIKE HIM” . WITH THAT BEING SAID IT INCREASED MY IRRITATION BY 100 BECAUSE OF THE CHAIN OF EVENTS THAT LED UP TO MY PURCHASE AND THE UNPROFESSIONALISM OF OTHER STAFF THAT ARE THE FACE OF A MAJOR FURNITURE COMPANY LIKE ASHLEY. THE ONLY THING THAT THE MANAGER WAS ABLE TO OFFER ME WAS $50 OFF OF MY PURCHASE. $50 OFF DOESNT REALLY MEAN ANYTHING WHEN MY CREDIT HAD TO TAKE AN ADDITIONAL UNNECESSARY INQUIRY DUE TO A SALES REPRESENTATIVE “MAKING A MISTAKE” THAT SHOULDNT HAVE HAPPENED BECAUSE I CLEARLY TOLD HIM SEVERAL TIMES THAT I WANTED THE VANITY. THE WAY THE FURNITURE WAS PLACED IN THE TRUCK BY THE TIME I GOT HOME THE MIRROR TO THE VANITY WAS BROKEN (I AM LIVID). I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS STORE TO ANYONE AND I WILL NOT BE PURCHASING FROM THEM EVER AGAIN. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Worst experience I have ever dealt with! We ordered our furniture in the store in October 2019. When we ordered the furniture we were told it was ALL IN STOCK. This was not true. The majority of our furniture got delivered in November 2019 minus the backordered items which were bed rails that keep the whole bed together. The delivery team left the box with the bed set and told us not to open the box until the backordered items are delivered. The bedrails were backordered until FEBRUARY 2020. When the delivery team delivered, they told us if there was any damage to the bed set that was in the box untouched that they were not responsible. When they opened the box the hardware to build the bed was not packed and there was a footboard frame that was completely cracked in half. The delivery team refused to take the damaged pieces even though they were the first people to open the brand new box. In addition, they could not put the bed together because of the missing hardware kit. After several calls to customer service and a personal in store visit, we STILL don't have our bed set completed. USPS attempted to deliver the damaged/missing pieces from the second delivery, but because Ashley did not insure the package we were unable to file a claim with the postal service. After multiple calls to Ashley, we have yet another claim for replacements, but it is still under review and I will not receive a call back for another 48 hours. This is absolutely ridiculous! DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THESE FRAUDS!
The price was over 100 more then qoutes because of delivery and they don't have a pick up option. I think they should have options. Staff was not rude, but struggled to connect with us, not a lot of rapport. When asking questions about pieces interested in, no tags or prices were out, had to flip over one table to find out.
John was very nice. And not at all pushy. I took my time looking and he answered questions or responded to comments when I was ready. . The purchase was very easy and quick!

Have bought all my furniture at Ashley . I’ve had the worst experience ever. I will never purchase anything from Ashley furniture. I bought a bed and a mattress and the mattress was delivered but not the bed . I was promised the bed will be deliver on a specific date (lies) I was promised a phone call back on the update of the bed (lies) never called back . I was promised a delivery on a Saturday never came and they never called to let me know that they were not going to deliver the bed I had to call and ask them . Wasted my Saturday waiting on the delivery and not even one phone call to let me know that they are not going to be able to get the bed . No communication what’s so ever sad . The competition is high and next time I need to buy any furniture I’ll make sure I’ll go to the competition!!!

We purchased $12k worth of furniture on 11/19/2019, it all had delivery date of 12/21/19, with the exception of (2) night stands that were to be direct shipped from factory on 12/21/19. We were now informed that night stands will be on backorder until 1/24/20. We asked their customer service to at least provide us the floor model so we could have a semi complete set, they refused. We asked to speak to manager and received the same B.S. Apart from this issue, we had other order errors that are supposed to be corrected 1/3/20. Not good customer service at all!!!

Worse experience in my life... I received a defective condition from manufacturer sectional recliner living room set... it was delivered by a 3rd party agency who lied about the process and procedures and nockdown a curtain also got my carpet dirty ... There no customer service at all no body helps everyone wash there hands.. Merchandise is dangerous loose hopefully none of my kids well get hurt in that thing until they do something about it, we'll see how long it takes to solve this since they refuse to do a refund... Looking for help it seems it's the same story of bunches unhappy customer that at the end they get no help at all... High prices low quality! Good to sell and lie about they items, and rude and dishonest solve any issues it seems none there was we'll train to perform their position

I have gotten pieces from Ashley through out the years it's over priced for the quality but I like the style. Recently I cancel an order they seem to not know how to get my money back. One day it's 10 days refund, then 14, then 21, and after the fourth time I call about my money, they have not a clue why they can't find a tracking number to my check. 46 days and counting! Its been a sh*t show with this company and I will never EVER purchase with them again. Unorganized, over priced, and lazy. Just get my money back already!!!

The worst customer service in the universe. I'm sitting here after calling multiple "customer service" numbers over the past 40 minutes and still haven't been able to reach a live employee. I have been chasing around a back-order since July and I still don't have either the item or a refund. I have spoken to 5 or 6 customer service reps over that time period and no one seems to be able to help. The item in question is lost in transit and neither Ashley, AFI (their California shipper) nor UPS wants to take responsibility. Unbelievably bad service. There are too many good furniture companies in the area to waste your time here!! PS: Finally got thru, told my story to a rep, she got off the line to "check something" and the line went dead. WOW-the beat goes on!!!

Seriously horrible. Only redeeming factor was the nice woman who helped me attempt to cancel order when it did not ship as promised. Bought mattress and told instock and would ship next day or two, never shipped and called to check in, they seriously do not answer their phone or answer and hang up. Now out of stock for 2 more weeks and no way to easily cancel. I now have to drive to store tomorrow since they dont answer their phone. Horrendous

Found there prices in store much higher than advertised online. Ended up buying the same item for much less on Amazon. Absolutely love it, but would never buy direct as it seem salesy, and a person followed you the whole time.

Don't shop here!!!! They do bait and switch. Delivery was NOT what we ordered and they "don't accept returns". We are stuck with payment on loveseat that they will not exchange for correct one.

Sales person was great and took the time to help me figure out what I wanted. Even stayed after hours to close the deal. The issues encountered were eventually resolved but a 5 star experience is zero hassles or additional work on my part to resolve problems. 4 stars are for minor issues that could have been resolved on the phone. I had to go back to the store so 3 stars. The price of the items didn't reflect what was on the show room floor. The salesperson identified and fixed it before I did. The parts required had to be manually added by sales person as the slats with the bed frame did not auto populate on the item request in their system. Luckily the salesperson identified this before I did or had to experience the bed being delivered without the essential part. The item size picked out on the requisition was wrong. Oddly, the price listed was for the correct size, queen size, but the item description and part number were for the wrong size, full size. I found this after a close review of my receipt and luckily resolved it before delivery. They had the correct size in stock so that worked out. I had to go back to the store for this. Delivery went well, very quickly and professional. Took the packaging materials with them. Delivery schedule was all over the map. Up to 3 changes to the delivery time with multiple hour windows. The communication was terrible, sometimes I was notified via text, other times a call. Sometimes I missed the call, no voicemail, and had to call the random number that called back to figure out it was Ashley calling about the delivery. I don't like having to baby sit things like this and I'm sure if I didn't followup after missing the calls the delivery would have went bad.

I was in the middle of purchasing, a piece of furniture and the sales lady got sidetracked, and started to help another customer, was not the nicest person when you spend hundreds of dollars in their store. I am happy with the furniture that I purchased.

A but pushy, but friendly enough sales team. Much cheaper on there website. great to look at in person then buy online. They sell there 12" chime memory foam mattress on Amazon. Prices are just ok, furniture looks great but is only IKEA quality. (Amazon has a return policy and prime shipping.)

Great greeter, within 2 seconds told me I was wasting her sales staff time by asking where to find futon-type small space sit/sleep options. She told me I should leave and go to Target or Walmart and they didn't have anything in my price range. She was fast and efficient, cutting me off whenever I tried to ask a clarification question. Further, she also told me that she pre-decided helping me would be a "waste of time" like so many other patrons who had bothered her for advice and were shown options but they (like me) wouldn't buy anything. "I don't even bother anymore." I think is how she put it. THANKFULLY for her, she didn't ask what my price range was, and she didn't allow me to waste any of Ashley HomeStore's time! Thus, I saved Ashley HomeStore $500 from my bank that they didn't want from me for my extra room. Instead, I took that money and went to competitor and bought the cutest couch/bed that folds and is cuter than belief! Thanks for not wanting my patronage, I will remember that whenever someone I know (which is a lot, in my line of work) wants me to make a recommendation about Ashley.
Had a horrible experience with Ashley's. Specifically asked for a bed that didnt need a box spring. At least that's what I was told I was getting. Also bought dining table set with plates, rug, and placemats. When my stuff was deliver they set up the wrong bed frame, some of my plates were broken, and no placemats. I called the sales girl Cheyenne she said she'd speak to her manager and of course she never called me back I then called her back the next day she told me to call the manager because she wasn't at work. I basically purchases furniture that I can't use because I have no box spring. I have broken plates I can't use. Never again will I go to Ashley's or recommend anyone else to go here either.

Terrible service, lied too and forced to correct the same issue 5 times before cancelling my order. They price matched an item to THEIR website and we agreed it would be shipped to my house via UPS. 2 days later the called me and told me I have to pick it up at their store and that they refused to honor the shipping even though on my receipt it said my address to ship. After talked to someone else they agreed the store messed up and said it was being shipped to my house. The next day they called me again to say I have to pick it up. Totally insane. After finally getting it to ship back to my house they tried to send it to my old address I haven’t lived in for 2 years. This went around and around 3 more times. Best part is that they don’t return items in store you have to wait for a call back to process? I was promised the manager would call me back twice and never did. Go somewhere else or order on their website where their prices seem to be wayyy less. Makes no sense.

Ordered a bedroom set and extra night stand. Delivery crew damaged my wall, left trash in my lawn and landscaping, and broke a path light, before I ever got a receipt or a chance to inspect they left. Furniture was also damaged: the night stand, headboard, desser, and footboard chest, the old mattress I was told would get taken away was left as well. My sales Rep was very attentive and I’m awaiting my replacement furniture 2 weeks later

For three days sent for confirmation of delivery date. I confirmed all requested information asked for. Then hours before delivery they called and said they didn't have the full order one of the loveseats was damaged would have to be backordered. I told them either deliver all the order or nothing. All was sent in great condition and and on time.

Now normally I like Ashley Furniture, but today I wasn't 2 feet inside the door when I was accosted in a car salesman type manner. I was with my daughter with the intention of purchasing a bed and Jodie? I think that was her name, I was so busy trying to get away...was on us in a heartbeat, told her we were just looking and still couldn't shake the ten feet behind no I'm not following you creeper! Lord stressed my kid out so we left. My advice...do away with the creepy mccreeperson!
They have a no-return policy they neglected to tell me about upon purchase. I also did not receive any copies of the documentation for the purchase that I could have read to find out about the policy. The chest of drawers arrived missing a piece, the lady tells me she'll leave a note and I don't hear back. I call again two days later, another lady tells me they'll ship me the missing piece. A week goes by, I still don't receive the piece. I call, wanting to return the item since it's still broken, but I finally find out it cannot be returned AND that they actually cannot send the missing piece, I have to have a technician come out to fix it. I will never go to an Ashley Furniture store again.
It's easier just to shop on their website since they WON'T price match the sales their own website is having. If u have the means I would suggest NOT using their delivery company. They are ALWAYS late, complain about bringing in the furniture and then curse while doing it in front of your small children. With that being said I WON'T be purchasing anything else from them in the future.
4 stars??? I don't think so! Sales associate "Tana" great but beyond that...nightmare. Bought a mattress & requested mine be disposed of. No problem we can do that and its listed on the delivery invoice...delivery made, they forgot the mattress. Oops, "Sorry" if they don't come back its your problem. WHAT? "Sorry" we can't do anything. Enjoy the $250 delivery fee...it will be the last dollar Ashley Furniture ever gets...can you say "RC Willey"? PS...truck came back and they said. "Sorry" Very unprofessional group!
We bought a sectional at Ashley a few months ago. It has already begun to break down. It's not comfortable at all! The one we tried in the showroom was a lot better than the one we got. So, less than a year later, we are buying a well made couch from Lazy-Boy.

They only care about making money. They will do anything to get a sale. You can use that to your advantage. Rc Willey sells old ashlet furniture and they have better customer service.

Nice showroom and the salesman who helped us was great! That's where the good stops and the bad starts. The delivery process was horrible and spread across 2 months and 3 deliveries. Everything was promised on a single date and only one time showed up. The others were "backordered" from a place that claims to make its own furniture. The second delivery was made by the same truck crew who delivers and installs the furniture but the only item they had was a blanket. Is it really cost effective for a truck crew to drive out of their way to deliver something which could have been delivered by UPS/FEDEX? The table set smelled like paint fumes for several weeks after delivery. Customer service over the phone was worthless and said any issues/complaints had to be dealt with through the local store. I called when no manager was available and was told they would call back. Never did. Overpriced for low quality furniture and terrible delivery/customer service.
Ordered my furniture 2 weeks ago. Scheduled delivery the following week as everything was " IN STOCK". I received a text two days later that an item(a rug) was on back order. We arranged to have the remaining order delivered on 4/6/19. Then as I prepared to have my new furniture delivered (I donated all my old furniture on 4/4/19) i received a text that another item is now on back order ( my coffee table and side tables)! And my order will not be ready for delivery until 4/26/19! I can not speak to anyone in the store, the only time I did I spoke with Angel the "Office Manager" he was supposed to "investigate" and return my call in 30 min. As of 16 hours later I still haven't received a phone call back or able to reach ANYONE when calling the store! I will be cancelling my order with Ashley and taking my business to MOR Furniture!

Went to Ashley Furniture for a bedroom set, which we found & love. Our salesman, Will, was helpful in getting the order placed as well as ensuring we received a good price on the furniture. Truthfully, there was a sale - nothing special done by Will. As soon as the order was placed, Will let us know our bed was on back order and would not be available for 6-weeks. I wasn't excited by the wait, but love the furniture, so resolved myself to accept the wait. We got a call from Will a couple days later advising us our bedroom set had an updated delivery date of almost a month earlier. Say what?! Heck yes!! Fast forward to yesterday - the day before our re-scheduled delivery date. After my son purchased a bed from Ashley and then had them no call - no show on the scheduled delivery date, I figured I'd be proactive and call the store myself to make sure we were still a go for delivery on the earlier date Will scheduled me for. Too bad Ashley does not actually have the staff to answer their phones! I spent the entire day TRYING to get in touch with the store, but kept going straight to a holding message, from which nobody would answer. After making over 10 calls yesterday and spending an hour on hold, I gave up and figured I would call again this morning. Sadly, the local store does not answer their phones because they're under-staffed, so I rolled back to their 800 line where staff sadly informed me there was never a delivery scheduled for today and, in fact, only a couple pieces of my order will be delivered NEXT MONTH on the originally scheduled delivery date. The majority of the pieces are still on back order and not anticipated to be delivered until sometime in mid May. Say whaaaat?!? How could this be?? My man Will called & confirmed today for delivery and he certainly did not mention anything about only parts of the order being delivered. You know - parts that are worthless because the key parts aren't coming til May. Dumb. So I ask 800 lady how I go about speaking with someone in my local store, where my sales guy Will assured me this stuff was being delivered today. Surely Will can settle this chaos. 800 lady says I just call the same number I called to get to her and then press 2 and the local store will answer. Nope. I called the 'local' store 5 times over the course of 2-hours, trying to get them to answer a call. Never happened - I just kept rolling to the 800 line only to be put on the Ashley Furniture 'you'll probably die here' hold line. My last ditch effort - march my a** to the store and demand to speak to Will, who would surely bust out his own truck to move my new bed to my house TODAY, as promised. I was greeted in the store by poor Sienha, who managed to bear the wrath of an angry customer (me!). She repeatedly said, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry. It was as if she's been through this a time or two before...SMH. She was kind enough to remove the delivery charge I had previously paid for, as well as make an adjustment to my order (deleting one piece of the bedroom set). I wanted to cancel the whole dang order, but can't find something like it elsewhere, otherwise I would have dumped the whole deal & walked away. While poor Sienha was 'handling' me, Will wandered into work and promptly hid in an office, never to be seen again while I was there. I'll let you know if my bedroom set arrives on my new & improved delivery date of May 15th. Yes, that's right folks - I will have waited almost 3-months for a bedroom set by the then. Pray for me.
Cheap furniture not worth the price! It felt like being on a car lot with car salesmen. I went to RC Willeys instead and couldn't be happier where it wasn't hard to make a choice.
Bought over $10,000 worth of items at this store and the one time I go in to buy $250 worth the sales associate states the amount isn't worth his time. He argues with his manager in front of me regarding who should write up the sale. The manager states it is not his job to "write up sales." The sales associate Sean states "the commission on the amount isn't worth his time." All of this while I am standing in-between them. I can't believe this is acceptable at Ashley. To fix this, they had a new person write up the sale and said they were sorry for the behavior. Thats it, that's the service I got. All Factual. The two managers I spoke with were Craig and Brett. Basically, I walked away from this knowing that unless I am spending a ton of money they don't care.
RIP off they make there own furniture and double the price
Almost all of our furniture is from Ashley. Employees are always polite and don't hound you when shopping which is one of the reasons we shop here . (Sometimes RC Willey is cheaper, but i just take a photo of the item and the pricing for a price match)

I was on hold for 15 min only to find out I had to be transferred again my total wait time on the phone was over half hour!!!! I suppose if I were to purchase anything I would have a bad experience based on the reviews and no one responds to the reviews people have made I will take my business elsewhere. Waste of my time !

Beautiful furniture, great deals, but THE WORST customer service. Went with my parents to the Reno store to help them find a bedroom set on February 25. Julia Ballehr helped us find the perfect one. She said the furniture would be deliveried Feb 28. My parents emptied our their bedroom to prepare for the delivery of their new bedroom set that NEVER got delivered. We attempted to call Julia on her "personal," cellphone several times and she did not call us back. We finally called customer service and said the delivery was scheduled for April 4th!!! We returned back to the store and instead of working with us to get the furniture delivered, they told us they couldn't do anything. We asked for a refund, and I will never return.

Great selection here and people are always nice of course. Prices are a little high but therr have been times when they are clearing out old stuff to bring in new items and that's when you see great deals. My wife and I got a kitchen table for half the price, it was perfect.
Great customer service in the store. Horrible delivery experience. Got a new dining room set and everything came messed up. Table had a nick in it. Every chair came and was wobbly. Called the store and had a new set deliverd just to have the same issues with the chairs. Horrible craftsmanship. Now have to have an actual person come out to repair all the chairs. Wouldn't recommend the company due to having horrible quality. Customer service is horrible as well. Hard to reach a live person.
Creg was awesome but had meager issues with delivery. Got a 15 piece living room set for over 3 grand. Waited over a month for delivery. Received my delivery on time but was missing 3 items. Called customer service they said I never paid for the 3 items. After 30 minutes and going in to show them I did pay for them they insured that they will ship the three items to me free of charge. After waiting for 2 weeks and have not received anything I called and they never ordered my 3 items so I had to go over the process all over again. After another 30 minutes on the phone and a mother trip to Reno witch is over 80 miles for me to show them I did pay for these items they said they will order it right now. Bit now the items are discontinued and I can't get a refund for them because they don't know how much each product cast. So I had to pull out my paper work to show them to get a refund and now who knows how long that's going to take. Will not be going back here again

Might be the worst customer service counter! They don’t answer their phones. When they do answer, 5-10 min later they seem totally clueless. The sales guys do their job... take your money. The delivery team doesn’t answer their phones, they don’t leave voicemails on when things are going to arrive. I’ve been on the phone trying to get in touch with someone who can tell me when my item will get in. I don’t want to wait all day on a delivery. Never using them again

When I initially made my purchase I left the store with a bad taste in my mouth. Craig was my salesperson and he was pushy and rude, but I went ahead with my purchase because I had done my research and knew I really wanted this specific bed frame. I was told to give them a FULL day for delivery and would receive my time window two days prior to my delivery date. I confirmed the text with the time window when it came and had to take time off of work in order to make it. The day comes around and my FOUR HOUR time window comes and goes and nobody shows up. I called the store and was informed that somebody had tried to contact me yesterday to reschedule, but I received no voicemail, text, email, NOTHING informing me that my delivery was delayed. I am so utterly disgusted at the lack of customer service provided and will never shop here again.

Purchased a dining set a little over a year ago and the sales person talked me into buying the protection plan, which I rarely do. Saw I was having issues with indentions on the table top and contacted GBS (the protection plan company) in which they asked when I noticed the issue and when I believe it began. I was honest with my answers only to be told that my time frame past on when the issue started and they wouldn’t accept my claim. Fast forward about 8 months and now I notice even when using pot holders with a warm plate the lamination is now showing heat spots. I learned my lesson from the previous experience of not contacting GBS in time and called right away. I was issued a claim number and sent them pictures. 3 weeks goes by and zero contact from them so I call them. I’m then told the are now going to deny my new claim because I previously called about about issue that was denied. Couldn’t believe what I was hearing so I called the store direct in Reno NV. Spoke to a gal who said she would contact the company for me and take care of this at the store level and call me back in 24 hours. 24..48..72 hours pass and nothing. I call again and I’m told who I spoke too never moved forward with my request. They told me they’d call me back the next day. Guess what? No phone call so I call again ...and again...and again and finally get a manager who actually did take my info and call the protection company. He did call me back says there is nothing they can but offered to sell me ANOTHER replacement table at a low price...gee what wonderful news! (Sarcasm) I already paid for the table I have that is a piece of junk WITH a protection plan but my option is to pay even more money?? Although I appreciate his efforts (if you can call it that) I will not being giving Ashly Furniture another dime, ever.
Horrible customer service. Took 5 visits and I dunno how many calls and over a month to finally get the couch we wanted. No one in the store cares. Tried emailing the website 3 weeks ago no reply. A week and a half ago supposedly someone at the 800 number emailed someone still no reply. Not even sure we paid the right amount. Have 3 receipts with different amounts. Will never shop here again.
Not a fun experience. Greeted at door. Said we were just looking nothing in particular. Just spending time shopping. He hover over us every step. Like I was going to pick up a coach and run out the door. I was so shipped by the time I got to back of one side I turned around and left the store. Super annoying!!!! I do never go to that store again. Just because of this. On out way to another furniture store as I type.....

Pushy salespeople who follow you around while you browse. Bad prices compared to the rest of the stores in town. No wiggle room on price or delivery. Bad furniture store all around.
