My wife and I keep trying to get someone at the store to answer the phone with no luck. This store is clearly not interested in any business over the phone.
DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! ITS TAKEN HALF A YEAR FOR DELIVERY. With how high the delivery cost is for the store one would expect the deliveries to be on time and all accounted for, the fact that they are not indicates poor management and salesmanship. If you cannot deliver on the day that was set, don't charge such a huge amount for deliveries. Or instruct your sales team to give an accurate idea of how very long the delivery windows can be, and to discourage special order products if your having warehouse issues. Update: Chairs to dining room table were rotten on delivery so the delivery guys took them on their request. Then our couch was delayed again for another two months. I have never in my life dealt with a worse buying experience, you cant call for help, both corporate and local phones ring endlessly, the store manager is on "Vacation" every time we go in, on different months, 3 different times. and to top it off with a very very BIG WARNING, you cannot get a refund without applying for it! YOU HAVE TO WAIT FOR A REFUND, DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY MONEY!!!
Today I was given some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced by the Ashley Furniture Home Store! On August my wife and I purchased a new bedroom set from the store in Reno NV. We confirmed the set we wanted was not backordered with the sales representative and schedule the delivery for Saturday, September 19. The sale rep told us the delivery warehouse would call us prior to delivery to give us a time frame. On Wednesday 9/16 I received a text message from Ashley asking me to confirm my delivery for 09/19. I replied to the text and they said the delivery was confirmed and could no longer be changed. On Saturday morning I had not received any further communication from Ashley so I called and spoke to an associate who confirmed our delivery was still scheduled and provided the time frame between 11 and 2PM. As you could guess 2PM arrived; however, our set did not. I called back and spoke to a new associate who told me she could not even see a delivery for me scheduled for September and said she saw one for October 13th. I requested to speak with a manager. After waiting about 40 minutes on the phone the manager told me 4 of our items where on backorder and they did not expect them to arrive at the warehouse until October 22nd. Now how can I be schedule for a new delivery date of Oct 13 when the items won’t even be available? The manager told me he could request a new delivery date of Oct 25th; however, the warehouse would have to accept that and the warehouse which delivers for our area only comes about once a month. I am extremely disappointed in the service we have received. We paid someone to be at our home for the scheduled delivery due to my wife and I being unable to take the time off. We cleared out our entire bedroom so the new set could be brought in and assembled by the delivery team and now we are left with an empty bedroom and no new delivery date. The company needs some serious help in their customer service department. I was not even offered an apology for the great inconvenience this has now caused and will probably continue to cause. We have attempted to reach out to the store; however, have not gotten anyone to answer the phone yet. We're unsure at this time if we will seek a refund or move forward with receiving the items.
Recently visited this location to purchase a dining room Set and a bedroom set. when are first arrived a rep approached us and we expressed to him what we were looking for and told him to give us a few minutes as we browsed. After a little bit of looking around and eventually we found what we wanted and we showed the rep who of course started to help us out. First of all, we showed him the dining table set (A 6-piece set: a table+4 chairs & a bench) that we wanted and he "noted" it on his iPad/device. Next we showed him the bedroom set and he took note of this as well. When time came to checkout I honestly do not know what or how he entered our stuff in the system but somehow we ended up with a 5-piece dining set (missing the bench). I was very upset at the rep who helped because he screwed up our order by not adding all the items, charging our card twice, and also giving us a delivery date that apparently "they don't deliver" and on top of that the contact info he gave us did not work. Our delivery date was also somehow magically changed without our knowledge and nobody notified us. When we contacted the store they gave us some lame excuse despite us expressing our frustrations given that we had already sold our old furniture and I am currently pregnant. After this experience I do not think I will be making any more purchases from any Ashleys furniture store. This was a very unpleasant experience and the way it was handled was beyond unprofessional.
UPDATE: Canceled my order and am now awaiting refund. I purchased a couch from the Reno store on July 19. I was told the delivery would be delayed because of Covid19 but I would be contacted to set up date. I have never been contacted and today (8/10) spent the afternoon trying to contact the manager of the store directly and no one has picked up the phone. I called numerous times and the phone just rings and finally goes to call center. Real person at call center told me that as of today there are no available delivery dates in my area until after October and that my couch was available and could have already been delivered to my home. I paid $119.00 for premium delivery which is a joke. My issues were forwarded to another office with with a promise of them calling me back today. I have received NO phone call and at this point will be driving to the store and canceling my order.

Horrible Horrible Horrible! Would Give zero stars if I could. Sold us a chair that was discontinued. Nobody bothered to let us know. Waited six weeks for a chair that was never going to show up. This is the last of several customer service issues we have had with Ashley. Based on other experiences with Ashley, it will be a battle to get a refund on our down payment too. I will shop elsewhere going forward. I should have made this decision a long time ago.
Came in for a sectional prices were so great and great selection left with a dining room too ! Still saved a lot of money downside it’s taking almost 2 mo to have all of it delivered. :( I’m sure i won’t care once I have my stuff.
We drove from Bishop California to Reno. Salesman talked a good talk got the sale and that’s where all customer service stopped worst communication, customer service, never returned call. Then had the nerve to say before refund had to review ehh my sister wanted her money back Don’t shop there unless you want to get tobbed
Absolutely terrible. my fiance and I went into the store in mid-July we found a bedroom set for my son and we decided that that was going to be the purchase we make. We signed the contract we were given a delivery date I made an in-store payment on that date and delivery day was late August. I still don't have my furniture I was never called or had any type of customer service explaining to me what had happened or what was going to happen or where my furniture was or what the status of my order was.my fiance called them and obviously not very happy he ended up being hung up on. I missed a phone call from Ashley home store which I returned the phone call and then I ended up speaking to a young lady at the store. I explained to her how I had not had any communication about the status of my order whatsoever since mid-July and it is now September. All she could tell me was that my order was incomplete and was it okay if we made two different shipments instead of one total shipment so they could come and make two different deliveries. So then I asked her well if that's the case then I feel the 90 days same as cash should be from the moment I take possession. she explained to me she was not authorized to approve this and that it would have to go through a lending manager(or something to the that effect)Giovanni to be approved. I let her know I was on the way to an appointment and he can call me back if he is busy. I let her know please leave a message so I can return his phone call I never heard from anybody. Friday September 4th I physically went into the store to talk to somebody as I was getting nowhere over the phone when I got to the store I actually ended up speaking to the same woman that I talked to on the phone. she said the 90 day same as class question that I asked I had been denied by said manager Giovanni. at that point I requested to cancel my entire order because I'm tired of waiting for furniture and making payments on furniture that I do not have. She said this also has to be approved by store manager Giovanni. I explained to her that I will not be paying for something I do not have in my possession nor have ever had in my possession. The girl I'm speaking to leaves the desk and goes to speak to Giovanni who had already denied the request that I had made about the 90 days and proceeds to ask him again in front of me. I cut her off and I told her and him that I wanted to cancel my order The customer service was absolutely horrible, communication was absolutely horrible there was not one positive experience that I had besides dealing with the salesman and unfortunately I don't remember his name. So this Giovanni is sitting at the counter pulls up my account and tells me that he now needs to get approval to cancel my order. He said that he should give me a phone call by Saturday letting me know that everything should be fine and he will let me know the status. I explained him that I do not want to be charged anymore for this furniture and that there was a payment coming out on September 10th and I wanted this handled before then he said fine it should be no problem whatsoever. I still have not heard back from anybody. I still do not have my furniture. I was just sent an automated text message this morning letting me know that my furniture will be delivered tomorrow unless I reply yes and then it will be rescheduled. problem here is I canceled the order I do not want anything from this store it is the worst possible buying experience I've ever had.
Ashley people aren’t very honest they have very poor guest services they promise one thing and they don’t do follow through. I highly don’t recommend people to shop at Ashley‘s very very poor customer service is not only have I went through it but mini mini people I have talked to have gone through the poor service they have.
The staff here are always so very friendly and helpful! We are able to browse without much hassle but the staff can always tell when we're looking to buy for real. This visit we were helped by Frank and he was very friendly, patient, and helpful when we expressed the need to buy multiple pieces of furniture.
Awful!! Similar to another post the staff is friendly and will help you find what you need but customer service is a joke, we bought our furniture over a month ago and I have yet to have anyone at the store actually pick up the phone, no the only way I got someone to answer a question was to get in my car and drive an hour one way! It would be great if someone could just...I don't know...pick up a phone! UPDATE: we are supposed to pickup everything in two weeks, we have no furniture at all and the store informed us that our furniture is post poned until October, but thank goodness ITS NOT THEIR FAULT, that's the kind of apology they give. So glad we have a new home with literally 0 furniture. Ashley furniture will sell you lies, don't fall for it, extremely irritated at this establishment.

When we first came, the people working was nice but our problems came after purchasing. Waited a month for it to come, then it was delayed another week. When it did finally arrive part of it was broken on the inside, you can feel where the wooden borads have snapped. Also the wrong brackets was installed so the side part won't attach with the rest, and they also sent the wrong sofa cushion. The delivery guy knew some of these problems and said a tech would call us back in about 30mins which never happened. So we called the next morning and they said it will take up to 2 weeks for a tech to show up. Which most likely will be just to inform us that it has to be replaced which will probably take another month. So its gonna take about 3months to finally get what I paid for.
