Was so excited about the purchase of a great new mattress and adjustable base about a month ago. Initial service in-store was fantastic and the delivery was scheduled promptly. Unfortunately, the delivery came with a missing component. Over a month has passed and after 12+ hours of phone calls and several scheduled deliveries (only to be cancelled last minute on their end), we are STILL waiting for a delivery date. We have been offered zero compensation, including that for delivery fees, and now have a $3000 mattress/adjustable base combo we are expected to begin payments on, when we still do not have the item in our possession. May I add that our household has taken now two days off of work to accommodate delivery scheduling, then to have the delivery cancelled with no notice after hours of waiting around. I really wanted to share about a great experience here but we are shocked and disappointed with this purchase. Looking forward to a solution, hopefully soon.
Save yourself 12+ hours on the phone, hundreds of $$ in delivery, expect incomplete deliveries, expect to take days off of work for deliveries to cancel. No compensation and overall egregious experience. Still dealing with this over a month later. Good luck purchasing from Ashley’s!! Salesman PJ was great, along with Cameron at the front desk. Despite multiple attempts starting in June of 2023 to resolve an issue related to my purchase, I have encountered numerous problems that have yet to be addressed satisfactorily. 1. Poor Customer Service: I have repeatedly reached out to your customer service team regarding my furniture warranty, but no one has returned my calls or emails. This lack of communication is unacceptable and has caused significant frustration and inconvenience. 2. Warranty Problems: There has been a significant issue with the warranty that was supposed to cover the furniture I purchased. When I attempted to utilize the warranty, I was given conflicting information and denied the coverage that was clearly outlined at the time of purchase. This has left me feeling deceived and disappointed with your company. I would not recommend Ashley’s Furniture.
We had purchased the 5 year protection plan on our first purchase. About 6 months ago we had made a claim and Ashley delivered. We received a full credit and returned to make an additional purchase along with the replacement. Working with Ricardo Heredia was effortless as well as pleasant. He answered all our questions, made some great suggestions and helped us with the warranty credit. This is my 3rd purchase from Ashley and we will not shop anywhere else. Customer service along with pricing makes a great experience. Highly Recommend Ashly as well as Ricardo!!!

Buying the couch was an easy process. It was after they got my money when the issues started. My couch was delivered and the delivery men rushed as fast as they could to get the couch in and assembled (which is a service you pay extra for). They screwed the legs to my ottoman on crooked and they ripped the material on my couch coming through the door by pushing it through the doorway. When I called customer care they said it would take a week to receive a call back (which it did). The gentleman said he had to call the warehouse and put me on hold. When he came back he told me no one answered so they would call me back in 72 hours. This was on a Friday. I did not receive a call back until the following Thursday. To which the gentle said he had to call the warehouse and told me they did not answer and someone would call me back in 72 hours. I told him I was already told this. He said he would escalate my issue. No one called me back so I called them the following Tuesday. I was told the warehouse was already closed for the day. It has now been 3 weeks and for some reason the warehouse is always closed or they do not answer. They took my $3,000 but can’t resolve getting me a replacement for their sloppy work. This is beyond unacceptable at this point. I will never purchase from this establishment again. I now have to wait another “72 hours” to hear from someone. Let’s see if a bad review gets someone’s attention. This is the poorest customer service I have ever encountered.

I bought my last couch here forever ago, and it finally in need of replacement. Showroom is large an jam packed, but I didn't find a single piece that was of any interest. Salesman that greeted us was, I hate to say it, but a little creepy. Said he wouldn't harass, and he didn't, but I felt like I was being followed. I even made a game of it, like a Where's Waldo, when I moved to a different section of the floor. Ultimately absolutely nothing piqued my interest.

And now when asking for a replacement they said it won’t come until the end of January which is crazy. They only treat you good before You pay. I purchased the 5 year furniture protection plan in May. I filed a claim in July, someone came to clean the cushion and only cleaned the top of the cushion. After cleaning, I noticed the stain had seeped through to the bottom of the cushion. I contacted the furniture protection company and advised of the issue and was told that the bottom of the cushion was not covered under the fabric protection warranty. Total scam in my opinion. Still trying to get issue resolved. Update just told it was not covered but they would provide me with the names of fabric cleaners at my expense. Buyer beware>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

I just wanna start by saying that I’ve bought multiple pieces of furniture from Ashley’s. I ordered a living room set as well as a dining room set, as well as a set for my sunroom. Every time I’ve been in the store, they always promise me that they will match any price. So I called the store and unfortunately, got Aaron on The phone saying that he was a store manager. I told him that I found the set cheaper somewhere else. He started getting rude, saying that they only price match online which is a lie because that’s not what they told me before. Aaron was extremely rude on the phone and was not helpful in anyway. I don’t think I will be shopping at this store anymore.
I had 2 visits to Ashley store at Kelly Road, Salem, NH. I have to say nothing except this place has an extremely Excellent service and great furniture collection, thumbs up to the sales associate Annette Tibodeau who helped me with choosing all what I needed, she was patient and spent long time with me on selecting my furniture during my first visit. The second visit I was assisted by the manager Mr. Obie, who was more than willing to help and provided me with all needed time and guidance to make sure I am selecting the right and suitable furniture collection for my house. Both Annette & Obie made my experience with Ashley a great and memorable one. I would strongly recommend contacting them directly once you get there, you will never regret it.
Absolutely love my new bedroom set that Aaron helped me find! He didn’t pressure us at all, just made his presence known, and let us look around. He left such an impression that we can back and asked for him! We will be back to get our living room set in a few weeks!
This review is a little delayed, but I had to make sure to write it. Our sales associate, John, was so really amazing. We had very strict restrictions with the dining table that we needed, specifically with the delivery date and John went above and beyond to make it happen for us. He also always double checked the prices and ensured that we get the best deal possible. I feel like if we had anyone else, they would've just given up, but John didn't and explored every avenue to help us with our purchase. He also wasn't a pushy salesman, but was always around when we had questions or needed him. Thanks John!

Please, STAY AWAY! Read previous comments from other customers too. Is REAL.The materials used on these furniture are of absolute low quality, and deteriorate with light usage. I have purchased many different kinds of furniture over the years to be left disappointed and dissatisfied. The store also has new ownership and they don’t care about customer service. If you ever have a problem; good luck on finding anybody to talk to. Lastly, don’t waste your money buying the “Furniture Insurance” is a SCAM!!! Just another reason to make you spend more money. All of the starts in the sky have to align in order to get a claim approved for poor quality materials braking down on you. Stay away!!!

Update: It has been 2 months and we still have no bed put together. The wrong parts have been sent 5 times. I hate to write a “bad” review, but we have been let down. I am not trying to be mean about this. I do want to provide constructive feedback. We have bought from Ashley furniture for years. Dining table, dining nook, bar stools, coffee and end tables, decor…you name it. We even purchased during the pandemic and though the wait was long, the quality was unmatched. It feels like quality control has gone downhill. We would certainly like to continue purchasing from Ashley again as they have been our go-to, but something needs to change…on the other hand, our experience at the Salem store has always been great. Very helpful sales representatives. We recently bought a couch and bedroom set. Communication was the first downfall. Ashley did not communicate that our items would be built for us on delivery day, so we already expected to put everything together on our own. However, the delivery men wouldn’t have been able to build our furniture completely anyways. Bedroom set was missing pieces and one part of the headboard was missing an attachment slot. Couch was damaged on delivery, but oh well. Things happen. We called and they sent us repair items and the missing pieces, but the pieces for the bed were incorrect. Some of the anchors were falling out as well so we couldn’t even put in the screws. Waiting on a repairman to come and fix up the couch. So, it’s been about 2-3 weeks and my husband and I are without a finished bed. The pieces are all beautiful, but it’s upsetting we’ve been building weekend after weekend with no furniture to enjoy.

I felt pressured to buy something and stalked to the point where I left and immediately went to Bob's and bought a couch from their friendly and respectful of space staff. Would not recommend.

DO NOT BUY FROM ASHLEY'S. I would give it ZERO stars if I could. I have never experienced such poor customer service when it comes to addressing a warranty issue. I've been trying to work w/Ashley's Customer Care in regards to my white leather sofa & recliner for far too long now. I purchased the set in 2022. The problem started within the 1st mo. or so. Here we are in 2023 & still unresolved.I have 2 sections that immediately were color stained within the mo. or so, by normal usage (people just sitting on the sofa or recliner). Pretty sure the sofa & recliner had not been pretreated before leaving the warehouse. Quality leather shouldn't stain from clothing like that. I've owned a light buttercream leather sofa for 5 years that I purchased from Jordan's furniture in the past & it never absorbed the colors of clothes.I've asked Ashley's several times to help resolve this matter because it's covered by warranty, all I continue to receive is the run around.Every time I call, they say someone has called & left a message. Not true. I've only received 1 email & 1 voicemail from Ashley's & that was in the very beginning of this ordeal. They requested pictures. In response to their request, I had sent 2 emails with pictures, & a follow up phone call. Nothing came about. I called over & over & kept getting the same response which was that someone will get back to me.On 1-24-23, I had to forward that same email w/pics to Ashley's again because they couldn't find the 1st email (both emails sent to emailus@ashleycustomercare.com & GuestServices2@ashleyhs.com). I did receive confirmation from an Ashley Customer Care rep that the email was received. Still no resolution. FYI- all I did was forward original email to same email address it was originally sent it to, all while I was on the phone w/the rep. Funny how they can see emails when you stay on the phone w/them to confirm that they receive it.This is embarrassing. I won't let anyone sit on the middle or left section of the sofa worried if someone sits on that side of the sofa with any colored clothing, the sofa will absorb the colors. No one should have to worry so much about what guests are wearing while they sit on your furniture.Ashley's - Salem, NH had the same white sofa on display for a while. I didn't see it color stained & I'm sure plenty of people have sat on it. I was one of them.3-4 mo. ago Ashley's finally sent out a 3rd party co. to supposedly resolve the matter. Guy shows up at 8pm (when he was supposed to arrive no later than 6), saying he was told to come clean it. He didn't even clean it. He only came in with a cell phone. No cleaning products of any kind. He took pictures & said he will report back to Ashley's within 10 days.Since the pointless visit, I called Ashley's a couple of times & was told that they still haven't heard from the 3rd party co. All they did was continue to give me fake apologies & lies about how they're going to have someone call me back to resolve. Nothing was been done. Before anyone says "Maybe she's not a clean person", my entire living room is mainly white with black, gold, & grey details. I keep it sharp looking.Called again today (8/4/23), was told they called and left a vm back on July 11. Which is a lie. I did not receive a voicemail from Ashley's that day. I check my vm daily. Ashley's tends to be the only co./people that claim to leave me a voicemail & somehow I never receive one. I have no problem receiving voicemails, or any other msgs from anyone else. I kept asking what number they're calling. Reps don't answer me when I ask. They carry on w/ the "I'm sorry".BTW, they just informed me that there is nothing they can do. They're claiming it is heat damage based on that unprofessional useless visit from their 3rd party contractor. I have central AC/Heat. I keep the temp in my place between 68-72 degrees all year round. Make that make sense.It was never a heat damage issue. It is an Ashley QC issue.Anything not to hold themselves accoun

Came to the store a couple of weeks ago to buy a sectional. The wife and I found one we really liked and it was decent price. A week later got a disappointing email stating that the piece was being discontinued and was no longer available. So we came back looking to find an alternative and as luck would have it we found another one that we both really liked. Unfortunately, it was almost 2 thousand more than the original one which was disappointing. However, we had a great sales team of PJ and Obie and they both taught hard with upper management for us and ended up honoring the original price of the sectional we had originally purchased. They really made the experience enjoyable and I'm happy we decided to come back and to be treated with such great care. Thanks Ashley.

This is the scammiest business model where the company takes no accountability for the store and when the franchise sells the business without delivering the goods they took money for, no one is accountable. We had bad experience throughout with this chain and this location in particular, from the quality of their products to the customer experience. We are going to avoid dealing with such shady operators and stick with big brand chains who care about their brand, reputation and customers.

Buyer Beware!We bought a Sterns Foster mattress! After a few months there is a Giant pothole in the middle of mattress! Customer Service rub around for six months! The mattress quality is poor quality! I am thoroughly disappointed with Ashley customer service! Don't buy anything from this store! The $2000 dollars for a mattress that has a ten year warranty and We cannot sleep in this bed!. Sterns and Foster warranty is useless at Ashley's furniture! Customer service is horrific!

The quality of the furniture sold has really done down in years. I purchased a sectional with reclining seats. The handles all broke within the first year and now after only 2 1/2 years the recliners are now not closing. One of the recliners must have been damaged upon delivery but was hard to tell. And over 1 year slowly began to have more and more issues. The fabric zipper failed after 1 year only to find out they don't cover zipper replacements. Huh? Their warranty department is not very helpful and the service people don't seem to care much either. So I will be now purchasing yet ANOTHER sofa in less than 3 years. We were so frustrated we have thrown out the broken sectional piece. When we moved the piece of furniture a broken Aluminum bolt (Or at least it felt like Aluminum) fell out. REALLY! Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else for furniture.

Ready to purchase a bdrm set with the presidents sale price of a little under $1200.. was aware that delivery and assembly was gonna be an extra charge, fine with that, but price came out to $1900 and salesmen himself was confused and told us to call corporate to complain. Not salesmen fault at all, but we should be given the advertised price. And only should have paid the extra assembly and delivery fee, which definitely wouldnt be $700.

Originally thought I was getting a good deal. The sales person kept pointing out a flyer for 25% off everything in the store, BUT the sale ended that day... I ended up getting one of the floor model couches for almost 30% off. Decent deal. I also paid cash (not financed) and picked it up myself, the following day. I got home and checked the website, and the regular price was the 25% off price... It's still that price several weeks later. They artificially inflate their store prices and claim large in-store discounts. Ultimately, I got 8% off a floor model couch, which I would not have gone for if they weren't so deceptive in the actual price of the furniture. I followed up the following day to ask what that was all about. Not irate, just wondering if I misunderstood something, or if there was something they could do to make this closer to the deal I was told it was, and was told all sales were final, and now they won't return messages. I would not recommend a store with business practices like this, and I won't be shopping there again.

Previously, I have had 2 amazing experiences with Ashley. And honestly, this one is not as much the stores fault as corporate. Their msiled advertisement showed a full spread of mattresses on 1 side of a flyer with 30% off "furniture" written over it small in only some places....then went in to find out 30% didn't apply to the mattresses at all!Mattresses aren't furniture they are bedding? Felt like a huge bait & switch....walked out without wasting my time. Sad because it would have been an easy sale that day too!

Ashley's has disappointed multiple times. I placed an order over Labor Day weekend for platform beds for a new house I'm moving into but when delivery day came they brought me a damaged piece for 1 of the 4 beds and they didn't bring the slats for the other 3 beds. I guess they expected the kids to sleep on the floor with the mattress.Anyway then they told me they will send it but when the guy came a second time for the delivery he said he didn't have the correct pieces, so did nothing and left. Called and complained again they said they would reduce my bill by $150 but haven't seen that happen yet on the card activity online and they would send out this time the right stuff.Lo and behold on the 3rd time the delivery comes and again they don't have the right slats. Maybe it's too difficult to send the right stuff from the Warehouse I don't know. Must be a complicated process. To top it off the piece they brought to replace the damaged piece itself is damaged. Now I called and I'm waiting to hear back hopefully on the 4th attempt they can get it right but I wouldn't make that bet. They need to make this right. It's been over 2 months now. Unacceptable.

I have never left a bad review before but I have never had a worse shopping experience anywhere. I purchased a bed frame in late November of 2021 and was told I was receive it in 3 months. After 3 months I called and was told it would be another month. This continued every month with the date continuing to be pushed out. Most of the times I called and was told I would receive a call back and never did. Never once was there an offer to compensate me for the inconvenience, only that I could cancel the order for store credit. Today, nearly one full year later my bed frame arrived, and it was so badly broken the delivery drivers put it right back in the truck and took it away. I called the store again asking for my money back and was given excuses as to why it may not be possible to get a refund. I was told I would get a call back and shockingly I have not. At this point they have basically just stolen my money as they kept the payment and have not provided the product. DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!! There are plenty of other furniture stores that will give you what you pay for when you pay for it.

I purchased a set of two couches in May 2022 and have received only one as of end of October. I have called the store multiple times. The store manager, Matt Heighes, has argued with me over the phone and has been aggressive with me about my situation. The store office manager, Paula, has been impatient, rude and has hung up on me after I requested several times in different occasions that the couch be delivered. I will sue the store, the manager and the office manager to get the couch, for damages and for the emotional distress they have caused me and my wife.
This is a dying store! Managers are very unprofessional, didn’t look me in the eye and didn’t want to shake my hand and they talk bad about customers who don’t buy, both managers especially Steve was bad

The Manager of this store 14 Kelly Road Salem NH 03079 named Matt is the worst when it comes to customer service. He is not trained to work with customers and hates his job. I do not recommend this store because of Matt's poor customer service.

I wish I could give this place zero stars. Originally I gave a great review of my in store experience, my experience QUICKLY changed once I left the store and gave them my money. I received an item missing several pieces and it has been a battle for weeks and weeks just to get the product I paid for. PLEASE BEWARE - once they have your money they DO NOT CARE about their customers any longer. They have no pride in the quality they put out, and if you have any sort of issue post purchase, GOOD LUCK reaching any sort of resolution. Management is an absolute joke, unprofessional, ignorant and not there to help the customer. They will lie and promise resolution and never deliver. Shop elsewhere with a company who will value your business as this place certainly will not. Read the other reviews yourself, don’t take the chance, this place is a disgrace. I wish I knew just how terrible this place was. They will never see a dollar from me again.

I paid Ashley furniture 109.00 to deliver my kitchen set, the chairs were already assembled but they had to put the table together, after they left I noticed they left all these heavy staples hanging straight down under most of the table. I am far from young and had to get my pliers and lay under the table and pull them all out so my cat and guests would not get hurt. This delivery was called the white glove treatment.
I would not recommend purchasing from Ashley to anyone. Customer service is not professional, and treat their customers poorly, as if we were not paying for the items... I've been waiting now for over 8 months for a delivery, and when I asked to speak to the lady that was "helping me", all of a sudden, "she doesn't work there." Please keep in mind that I had spoken to her the day before when they told me that. I tried to be polite and understanding, but everything has a limit. Never again buying anything from here. Very unprofessional.
Poor Quality Furniture. Spend the extra thousand somewhere else. Pieces came damaged 3 weeks ago, still nothing from customer service. When I call the store they say they cannot help"I just sit at the desk" was an actual quote from whoever picked up the phone. Do not be fooled by the rating, most of the 5 star ratings have no explanation, definitely friends/fake accounts, or people who are absolutely clueless. Ashley has gone downhill. Imagine going to a car dealership buying a car, and it gets delivered damaged and nothing is done. This is what happened to me and many others. No response from store management, hence why they manage an Ashley furniture store. I paid full price for new damaged furniture. You are better off going to goodwill cause at least then you get what you pay for.
Never shop here. They are REFUSING to give me my money back for furniture that was never delivered. I have attached a copy of my cancellation invoice where it clearly says I paid CASH, and a check in the amount of $2,609.96 was issued on 02/22/22. I never received this refund check. Matt, the manager told me the new owner is refusing to write any refund checks. I have contacted Channel 7 News and Solve It 7. With the recent reviews on here, looks like there is a lot of bad business happening at this store. Avoid it. And if you read this review and would like to be a part of a lawsuit please contact me here on Yelp.
We buy all our furniture from Jordans. We should have continued to do so but we liked an Ashley bedroom set and weren't thrilled about any at Jordans. Bad sales process. Incorrect delivery estimate. Terrible expierience during the delivery of the furniture. Damaged furniture. No response to damage furniture claim after 9 days(and counting). After sending Ashley pictures they requested of the damage the same day we received their request, they resent the original email asking for pictures 8 days later with no acknowledgment of the pictures already sent. Called the store and they can't help, "different department". Read the reviews and understand this is the type of place that doesn't try to improve their service. Once you swipe your card they do not care. This may sound crazy to some but spend the extra money at Jordans and buy something you might not like as much. In the end you will thank me. Take note how all the negative reviews have ZERO responses from management. This is because they do not care, are lazy, and lack customer service skills which should be the foundation of any retail environment. "That place and other locations are the laughing stock of the industry." - Jordan's Employee UPDATE: Still no response, no call from store manager. No resolution. No Money back. Thanks Ashley! UPDATE: 8/25/22 Still the worst service ever. SHOP ELSEWHERE. UPDATE: 9/21/22 Received my replacement dresser because in the first delivery the dresser was brough with damage. Guess what? Hopefully nothing goes wrong because there customer service is horrendous. I had an agreement it was written on my invoice to have my old mattress taken away. They delivered the new one and the delivery guys said they had no info about that and they left. After about 8-10 calls they said they would be picking it up and they never showed. I have purchased a few things from this Co. before. This will be my last time.
My husband and I purchased $500 worth of gift certificates for this location for my parents, who just purchased a home in New Hampshire, at the end of February 2022. Less than six months later, the store is refusing to honor the gift certificates for my parents because of an alleged change in ownership. The gift certificates are not expired and do not mention any carve out for changes in ownership. Do yourself a favor and avoid this dishonest store.As an update, my husband emailed the business owner as suggested here with proof of purchase and all that happened is the business confirmed it won't honor the gift certificates we paid for. Again, don't bother with this place. They do not care about their customers.

Went in to browse as we are moving but ended up outfitting the house! The deals and incentives were too good to pass up and Gamal was incredibly helpful and patient. He let us roam for hours without nagging us, none of the employees at Ashley’s are in your face or following you around the store. He even helped us move end tables to see what color matched best with the couch. Highly recommend Ashley’s in Salem, it wasn’t our first time there and it won’t be our last!
Horrible experience with Ashley furniture. Figured this store would be better than Bobs but I thought wrong. Let me start by saying this the employees treat you like a king or queen once you enter the store in an attempt to make you spend a fortune. Once the fortune is spent good luck in receiving your product or let alone the right product. Slept on an air mattress for 2 weeks because Ashley furniture dropped the ball and my back is killing me now 😫 they should pay for my chiropractor appointments 😒. The manager doesn't seem to know anything and doesn't keep his word he should look up the word integrity and live by that definition. The customer service employees are mostly miserable when you call 📞 and they treat you like you haven't spent a dime there but in reality I brought the brinks truck for my purchase so show me some respect. In the end i will never buy from them because their service is horrible and they do not keep their word. Ps Jordans furniture is better
I had the pleasure to work with Gamal. As a first time buyer he was more then helpful! I was able to find the couch I loved at a great price. He even was able to help my parents figure out what kind of mattress they need that best suits them. We will be back for sure! 10/10 stars

Purchased mattress at reasonable price
I don't general review places like this and we have purchased items at this Ashley previously. This review has nothing to do with the sales people or products. It has to do with the fact that this location has a new owner and we had a credit so the plan for the visit was to use the credit. Well, guess what...the new owner is not honoring any prior credits and the store is saying the system has been cleaned up so no previous credits show. Again, people working there are very nice but we will certainly not shop there again.
Never ever again!! Purchased furniture Feb 2021 ans still haven’t received it. Was told to just cancel if I wasn’t happy!

Horrible customer service. I have had to walk into the store 3 times this past month(which I do not have time to do at all) because no one answers the phone. Any time I got someone on customer service they are just trying to get you off the phone saying they “don’t have answers right now but furniture has been re-ordered.” We ordered a bed frame in December. I was called in March to say my delivery was in, then an HOUR before I was scheduled for pickup, told they “lost” the bed. I’ve been in the store 3 times the last couple weeks and the best they can do is now give me free delivery. The woman Paula told me she would get me an ETA for the bed with a PROMISE to call me back the following day- which of course I never received. She even acted sympathetic towards me a little bit that I’ve had so much trouble trying to get in contact. Today she couldn’t even be bothered to even look up from her computer screen to help me. Just staring at her computer screen saying “I’m sorry I didn’t call you and I can’t do anything I’m on the phone all day it slipped my mind. Your furniture has been reordered. I’m so busy with other things i forgot.” Ummm… what?? As a customer who has purchased from Ashley before and as a person who owns a business personally in customer service, I’m horrified how me, and apparently many others are being treated. This is ridiculous.

Worst experience ever. Ordered sofa and two chairs 9 months ago. They still have no idea when or if it will ever show up. They have a poor relationship with their suppliers and zero visibility into order processing and delivery. Take your business else.
Terrible customer service. It’s been a month of me trying to contact someone to figure out when my couch will get delivered as it has been delayed 4 weeks. No one answers my calls or emails - do not do business with them.
Rant: So I am putting this out there, I know there has been a pandemic and because of that pandemic supply chains have been severely compromised however, there comes a point when you just want the stuff you paid for. On August 8, 2021 I went to Ashley’s Furniture in Salem, NH and purchased a coffee table, two end tables and full size storage bed. I was told 8-10 weeks for delivery but because of the pandemic it may take a little longer. I waited the obligatory 10 weeks and the first week of November called and asked for an updat on the delivery I was told end of November. On the last week of November I called to inquire about the delivery and was told because of supply chain issues it would be the last week of December. And this patterned repeated every month. Call at the end of the month and being told at the end of next month it is now almost the end of April and I am not being told it will be the first week of June. I have to continuously call Ashley’s. They don’t call me or send me an email or anything there is no communication what so ever! I tried calling on Monday April 18th but was told their systems were down, I called Tuesday and was told the same thing, I called on Wednesday and was assured that I would get a call back as soon as their systems were back up. I called today and they had their systems up but couldn’t find my order. Today I talked to Matt the Store Manager. He asked if he could me back when he couldn’t find my account in 20/30 min top. I called them an hour after I called them the first time specifically asked to speak to him. When he got on the line he said ”Well what I can help you with? I’ve had so many calls I can’t keep track of what you called for.” I advised I was calling to check on the status of my order and I got “so it looks like it’s the first week of June”. I then asked you do realize that it’s been been almost a year and I received the following response “yep I can see that August 8th. It might be sooner check back sometime next week.” Now I have received a refund on the delivery charge but nothing else. Why in the hell should I be. Hazing them? The customer service, manager and personally every person I have spoken to has blown me off. This will be the last time that I shop at Ashley’s. I would spend a little more and already have my furniture in hand with a better attitude! My Mom ordered a living room set and a bedroom set in Mid December for her home. The anticipated arrival date has changed 5/6 times. Here we are in almost May and another email comes in saying possibly end of May. But that might change. Thats not even a possible arrival in store. Meanwhile shes sleeping on a mattress on the floor and is sitting on a cheap futton couch. They keep saying its manufacturing delays. We have tried to be very understanding but this is crazy. Almost tempted to cancel and try another store. We have friends that ordered from a different furniture store for things in January and received them in March. Everytime we call apologies… manufacturing delays ….Trying to be patient but its getting very frustrating!

My husband and I shopped at the Salem, NH store today. We came in to look at mattresses. One of Your sales associates Gamal Kotb helped us. He was very knowledgeable and took his time to answer all questions we had and never once made us feel pressured to buy anything. He helped us find a mattress that we feel very comfortable with. We will be coming back to look at bedroom sets and a living room set soon and hope Gamal will be there to assist us again! We were very happy with our experience at Ashley Furniture😊

Looking to spend $6,000 on furniture and walked in and everyone sitting on their phones and they wouldn't do business with you if you won't wear a mask. So discrimination is how they do business there. I will cancel my credit card and will never step foot into my that store again.

Poor customer service. The salesman promised a delivery date which was 8 weeks out. And when I called 5 days after the promised date to check why I haven’t got it, they are giving another date which is one month further. And when I ask why I wasn’t even notified, the customer service representative was really rude. At this stage I have waited for 8 weeks and I have no other option. But this is the last ever time I am going to this store all because of the poor customer service and rude response of the associate.

Worst experience ever!!!They will never deliver to you what your purchased,lies and lies.Purchased from them more than 7 months and now till the end of December, they didn't deliver to us what we bought.Every time,on delivery date,they called saying one of the items is damaged.Will never buy from this store,they are so bad.I advise everyone to never buy from them.They gave you the worst experience ever.So disappointed. DO NOT BUY FROM Ashley Homestore! It's a nightmare. Their furniture is not even that cheap... I bought two items: a counter height table and a sideboard (~$500) just to have them arrive both with damage. It was also a hassle to send them back- they won't even schedule a pick up for you (they are assuming that UPS will pick it up when it does). But how am I supposed to know when to put it out/ when will they come if they don't schedule a time? I had to call them back to issue me another tracking number to have UPS pick it up because UPS had already attempted 3 times. Also as a warning-- they only give you a 15% discount if it has any damage (regardless of the type of damage it has). The damage on sideboard was so visible (top front) that I would've only kept it if they gave me 75% off, but they only offered 15% off, so it wasn't worth it.UPDATE: It was such a hassle to get a new tracking number from UPS, the guy told me- "You are all set- you can just discard the item"... ???? I WAS ON THE PHONE FOR 1 HR and he told me to JUST DISCARD THE ITEM... and that I will receive the refund 7-10 days from now, but no confirmation. I guess I'll have an update in the next couple of weeks...

The store was good they have nice furniture it's not cheap $$ but it seems to be quality I would have spent another half an hour or more there if the salesperson wasn't literally walking around on my heels trying to be part of the conversations my wife and I were having while looking at furniture !!!!

I was told I could pick up my table and chairs but the warehouse never pulled my order and I took a day from work for nothing but they were kind enough to say they would deliver it latter in the week but still that is time out of my schedule but what can you do. Latter in the week they dropped it off and took off fast and never waited for me to inspect it or at least look for scratches etc. One chair is short legged and has a terrible wobble and it has a little marring on the backrest. If they change out this chair I will change my post here and give it a higher rating. I hope they get back quick and give me a new chair .

My sales consultant was Gamal Kotb. I had come to the store with a bed in mind, but while he was writing up the paper work I found a one I liked a lot better. He could not have been nicer or more accommodating. I apologized for the extra paperwork and he replied that he had plenty of paper, no worries! It was overall a very positive experience.

don't waste your time or money here. cheap products, Customer service is horrible. I have called so many times and everytime I get a different answer. I think they are trained to lie to you as this is an ongoing problem not just at this store from what I have read. Thank goodness it was just a cheap headboard. I got my couches from Jordans furniture who are the best. The customer service at Jordans furniture is the Best with follow ups and communication. So if you need furniture shop as Jordans furniture.

Went to buy with cash in pocket, was never greeted, ended up buying at Jordan's.
Went in attempting to find nice end tables. Could not tell who worked there and didn't. Must of passed the same employee 3 times I found it off that a customer would rearrange pillows. Never got a hello or can I help you. I went up to the front to get a salesperson some came out in a hoodie and went and asked that same employee. Over priced if you ask me. 1time in and won't go back for lack of customer service
DONT ever shop at Ashley Furniture Homestores NH! I purchased a bed frame in which their delivery and setup team broke while assembling. The bed was identified as broken by the tech who came here. He couldn’t even remove the bolt because it was stripped so bad. His boss is now insisting he fix my broken brand new bed in my home as opposed to just replacing the piece their movers broke. So I’ll be canceling the rest of order and i don’t care if it results in me waiting until November for a couch, I rather receive the furniture I paid for and have it assembled properly. I basically just paid for a bed I’m going to have to throw away. The two men they sent to deliver and assemble were also extremely unprofessional and rushed the job which is what resulted in the bed being broken. This company has taking no ownership I’ll also be filing a complaint with the attorney general’s office.
Worst Company cause there workers are so sweet talker when you are going to purchase Furniture and once you made the purchase. Then the real face comes. If you got damaged product then they don’t care what so ever they talked back to you like. They gave all the stuff free to you. Guess what no customers pay for that and why should get damaged product and you send someone 2 months later to fix it? Like what the F is that. Specially so ignorant at there warehouse. It’s just unbelievable. And at the showroom they just wash up there hands to put on everything at warehouse. Will never suggest anyone To buy the furniture from Ashley furniture’s!!!!! Don’t waste your time with this company. I have ordered furniture from many stores and never have I had issues like this. It’s been five months and I still do not have my furniture. One piece had to recently be reordered. Delivery has been canceled three times. Never again will I shop here.
Be careful. They tried to slide an extra warranty into the sale. Plus insulting military discount of 5 %. Lastly, $109 delivery charge for 1 piece and will Not remove old piece. Thanks, but will be taking my business elsewhere.
Today was our 3rd time coming here!! 👏👏👏 From the moment I called the store to see about availability on a lift top coffee table, Jacob reassured me it was on the floor to view! He showed us where it was and explained all the features once we arrived! He is one person that right from the beginning was very personable and knowledgeable. Excellent experience (again) with Gamal. This is our second time with him and there is a reason we go back to him, he is very helpful knowledgeable and he is very understanding and not aggressive about the sell at all. He was fine with us thinking about the purchase and leaving, very kind and extremely intelligent family man. We of course came back the next day at 1:00 which was his start time that day and looked for him and made an incredible purchase. He even went above and beyond to get is the best price available and even managed to get an extra 50.00 off. Great experience I cannot recommend him enough. I know the next time I need furniture I will pull his card out of my wallet and find out when we can come in and meet with again. Thanks again it was a pleasure.

I definitely would recommend going in and seeing Gamal he was a very pleasant and honest sales representative and really helped me out on making the right decision on buying a quality bed for my older son and did not push or rush me to make my decision to buy right away if I was unsure.. it was a great experience a d I will definitely return for my future purchases.

Today I was in the store shopping for a mattress I did not buy anything but the sale man Gamal Kotb was great every sales man should look at this man and learn from him
I should have read the reviews before buying from Ashley because I would never have bought from them as the reviews are all true.I was okay waiting months for my couch & chair as it is covid but after calling multiple times I was told my couch was in the warehouse and I was able to schedule the delivery. So far so good except that I had to call, you would have thought they would have called me. Now the missing chair. Multiple calls - will have it beginning of Dec (purchased Sept 5), next call, end of Dec, next call mid January - you get the picture. Finally the chair is in the warehouse and we have a delivery date of Jan 26. I take the day off from work & no chair. When I call I was told the computer sometimes just cancels orders - when asked how does it happen - we don&'t know we have had IT look at it and they can&'t fix it. Really a computer glitch cost me a vacation day - no apology!!!! I left a message for the store manager - no call back. Eventually I do the chair but they need to fix their computer glitch and train on customer service.

If you’re gonna buy at Ashley’s just be prepared to get your order push back every time, not the 8-10 weeks like they say when you first buy. I went there with my husband on Sept. 5 to purchased a full king bed set and told us if was gonna be delivered the first week of November, I called to ask what happened with our order and told me it got push back to December, called them back in December told me it got push back to January , called them today and told me it got push back to February. I called customer service and a lady from the warehouse took my called, I explained to her what was happening with our order and she apologized and told me they don’t have a specific delivery date yet.. I just think that Ashley’s receptionists shouldn’t give a week or date of delivery if they don’t know if the warehouse has gotten the orders ready. Not even Bobs and Adams furniture took this long to delivered our mattress, living room and dinning room set and we purchased it 2 months after we purchased the bed set.

This was the best furniture shopping experience my wife and I have ever had. Gamal was very knowledgeable but not pushy. He would answer our questions and then leave us alone for us to be able to discussion between the two of us with no added pressure. The furniture selection was amazing and the quality and price were very reasonable and affordable.
You can feel the wood thru the leather. Broken pieces and it’s just over a year old. I’ve called numerous time reversing the extra warranty we paid for and I have still not received any info back 3 weeks later .. Do Not Buy from here ! Rip offs
Horrible at dealing with returns. If you speak Spanish, you’re screwed because they give you the run around with inconclusive answers. That’s what my poor spanish speaking parents are dealing with. Ive tried helping them to get the issue resolve but it has been an epic fail.
I bought a new sofa this weekend and my sales person Gamal Kotb was great he was patient with me and very helpful when it came to making the decision on my new sofa. I usually don't do recommend any stores or sales people but if you are looking for new furniture Gamal will help you and make it a easy and pleasant experience. Thank you again for your help.

We purchased home furniture 3 months ago and they said it will be delivered in December. We called them today and they said its not delivered until January or Maybe February 2021 !!!! We’ve been waiting for out furniture for 3 months! Living in an empty apartment!!!! Unbelievable !!
Just went into Ashley HomeStore in Salem NH. Emily was great. Answered all my questions. I did not feel pressured to buy. I am very excited to receive our new furniture.
Gamal greeted is a soon as we arrived, asked a couple of questions to know what we were looking for, and within minutes found the right pieces for us! He was a pleasure to work with and there was absolutely NO pressure.
Gamal was an experienced salesman who allowed us to shop after introducing himself to us. When we were ready to ask questions he provided us with answers in a pressure free environment. He also informed us of the current sale at Ashley Home Store, protection plans available, and did all of this with genuine kindness. Great experience and we will be back.
Do not purchase from any Ashley Home stores.This is a fair warning. They are one of the most unprofessional stores I&'ve ever shopped at. First when I purchased my furniture they said I would receive a call back for the delivery day. That call never happened. I had to call a week later to book a delivery date. That was the first Red Flag. I made a online account to track my package and stay up to date only for there website to not work and it literally doesn&'t allow you to ever log back in or rest your password. They say they are having so called website issues. Third today I had a delivery day marked for delivery. The time was set from early morning hours to noon. I waited all morning going into mid afternoon only to call Ashley Store and be told the delivery wasn&'t coming. They where supposed to call me and tell me this and guess what, no call again. My time money and day was wasted. They had no care in the world. They said someone would call back To reschedule an appointment for delivery which I know is a fucking lie. I&'ve never delt with such trash of a company. A bunch of clowns working in Ashley. Don&'t waste your time or money!

This company has held my furniture order hostage. They have sent me several dates for delivery and none were correct. I have lost a day of work. I have given my old furniture away and last but not least I have no furniture for Xmas. they will not even let me go to the warehouse to pick up my order. Till Jan 5th. They state warehouse is shutdown due to COVID .. I get it but you are a business and you could hire from temps from the community to pull orders. It’s fishy that I can’t pick up my own and you can still keep the 250.00 “white glove” delivery fee.. Thank you for you Christmas Spirit..

I got all furniture's from Ashley store and every piece has some or other defects. Back side of TV console broke in 8 months, they delivered defective coffee table twice and after than its 1 year I have been following up but no answer to email or phone

Bought a couch set many years ago and it's still in great shape. Happy with that purchase. Recently visited the store and liked our salesperson but not quite sure about the quality. A few salespeople were a little unprofessional as we walked in but this won't keep us away.

I wish i had read the reviews before ordering. They are like used car salesmen. They have terrible customer service and sketchy ways of adding up the total cost. I would have been out $500 had I not gone online and checked prices. I am still waiting for a promised call back. Kelly's is trying to charge me a 50% restocking fee on a light I can buy anywhere. They did not have me sign anything. What should have been a fun experience buying 2 complete rooms of furniture has been such a hassle. I wish this would have been a good review. LOL

I would not reccommend ordering from Ashley HomeStore because of the poor customer service and inconvenience in trying to return online orders. I have unsuccesfully been trying for 3+ months. The store does not accept returns of online orders and i have called the corporate number many times, waited on hold, and left a message as prompted (with no returned call, even though the recording says it will be returned within 48 hours). I suggest that anyone considering buying from Ashley Homestore, reconsider and spare yourself the possibility of having the same experience.

I recently purchased a living room set at Ashley's home store in Salem, NH. Upon entering the store I was greeted with a warm welcome from some of the staff. Gamal helped me while I was there. He was very knowledgeable about the products. When it came down to my two final selections, Gamal gave me a honest opinion, that I felt good about when I left Ashley's. I also want to thank Joe who had helped me the week before.

When I arrived at the store there was a gentleman that came from the back of the store to greet me when there was already four if not five salesman right at the door. I know they work by seniority. But I was not into feet and he was like right there on top of me. Then followed me and asked me two more times if I needed help. I love Ashley furniture HomeStore! I have bought many times from the store and the furniture is beautiful and great quality! I dealt with another gentleman Joe Coffill Who is excellent very knowledgeable, personable, and not pushy and was very efficient I highly recommend Ashley home store and I’m sure that my experience at the doorWas a fluke but that sales person should know that when a customer the first time says they’re all set they will come back to him or her when they do have a question

We have been looking to buy a set of end tables so we went to ashleys in salem nh were greeted by an employee as we came in and asked what we were looking for? Told him two living room end tables in black! So he started to show us around and all the brown ones then told us if we find something it would be 8 to 10 weeks before are order could be filled! Is said your kidding he said no because of the virus no one is working to fill orders,so we looked around and found 2 in, black but it was a set in clearance that came with a coffee table ,we told him don&'t need the coffee table he said we wont break up a set take it all or nothing so we said good by!!!! Really you would let a sale walk out over a coffee table?? As we were leaving he followed us to the door and watched us from the front of the store,not only making us feel very uncomfortable !!! felt like we were going to steal something oh yah stuff a oversized couch under your top!!! never again will we go to this place and be treated as we were.I hope other see this and keep clear of this store.

Cheap junk for an expensive price. Horrible customer service. Bought a dining table and chairs for around $1400. Chipped within a month or two then a big bubble appeared on the top. Something must have spilt, and their response was that the table should not get wet.(thank god I don&'t have kids). Then after finally getting a hold of someone who I thought would help, they asked me to send pictures of the damage. I did, and never heard from them again... even sent a few follow up emails and nothing. Tough to find good quality anywhere nowadays, certainly not from them.

I bought two coffee table sets and other stuff that was on clearance and sale .... I came next day to pick everything up with a help of a friend ... they told me that I had to get everything out and load it in my van ... no one helped ... there were 3 employees standing by the entrance... they did not even bother helping with the door .... very disappointing!!!!!! Will never go back there again !!!

Salem location has nice staff. They are a franchise and seem limited on what they can do for price. The website is awful. I went on the website and saw a 50% off sale on the mattress dept. I added a mattress to my cart and then went to look at the foundations as the mattress page said your warranty was voided if you didn't have the correct foundation. I selected a foundation and when I was brought back to the checkout the mattress went up in price (the promo ended). I talked to the online chat and not willing to help and told me to talk to my local store. The store rep was willing to help me but was advised by a manager they can only match their website and any promo codes. Because I was buying more from them they ended a sale on me and won't help rectify the problem.

My husband and I went in looking for a new kitchen table set and the salesman, John, was extremely helpful and courteous. He wasn't a very pushy salesman, which we appreciated. He let us have time to browse and checked in a couple times to see if we had any questions and answered them when we had questions. Their prices were also decent, less than we originally expected. We would definitely recommend furniture shopping here and to request John.

RUN FAR FAR AWAY!!!!!!!!!What a nightmare from start to finish. It&'s not a short story sadly. Stick with me! I Purchased a new home in September 2020. I purchased a dining set, mattress and king bedroom set from Ashley financed. Each piece of furniture had a different amount of months with financing which is extremely confusing and I also paid 10% down which is required for any financing, they don&'t tell you that until the end. The manager fixed this for me which gave me hope. But still was a mess from there.My bedroom set came quickly. Very early September. It came damaged; deep scratch on nightstand, broken chest drawer and broken brackets on the dresser so the door wouldn&'t close properly. It was always flinging open each time you took a deep breathe near it. During this delivery they smashed a light in my hallway bringing my mattress up my normal staircase. The light was left hanging and broken. They said someone would call me. I never heard from them and after two months of back and forth and very little follow up they begrudgingly took care of paying for the damage. Someone had to fix the dry wall, paint and have an electrician come to re wire the light. The damage was so bad that the light had to be moved to another location a few inches down.I made the decision to cancel the dining room table after two months and no updates on shipping status. They fought me every step of the way to cancel and tried to charge a 20% restocking fee. At the end of October 2020 a tech came to fix the damaged bedroom set. He fixed the chest drawer but said the nightsstand needed to be replaced as the scratch was under the sealant and happened in manufacturing. The dresser cabinet needed new brackets which he didn&'t have and needed to be ordered. Again I was told someone would call me.. I waited... and waited. I called after two weeks. They said my nightstand was ordered and would arrive two months, they would call to schedule delivery and the brackets were on the way. I received the brackets in December and still no nighttstand. I was patient since it was the holiday. I gave them two full months. In January 2020 I called to follow up... They had no idea what I was talking about and tried to begin the process all over again. They tried to ask for Photos, told me they needed to send a tech to assess the damage. They had no record of my previous tech appointment. After 40 minutes on the phone they apparently realized what I was talking about and said the nightstand was ordered but they didn&'t have a delivery date. They said they would folow up with the manufacturer and would have an answer within 7 days. I asked when it was ordered since it should have been in November. They refused to tell me. They Said a tech could come to do the brackets in 8 weeks... insane. I emailed multiple times after that call to see when it would be here. All the while paying each month for this furniture. I never got a response. I was going to contact the credit card company to contest the charges due to the issues and lack of communication. I received a call at the end of January from a customer service manager, the only competent person there. She informed me this issues had fallen through for months and no one followed up. She told me the nightstand was never ordered even though they said it was.. she told me the night stand needed to come from overseas and would take an additional Two months. At this point I wanted off the hell ride. I requested to return everything. Since the furniture arrived damaged they agreed. They tried to offer me a resolution which was to give me the nightstand for free and then a $100 gift card to make another purchase at Ashley furniture which quite frankly I found insulting. After this experience the last thing I want to do is give more money to that hellhole.The long and short of it- after countless hours of calls,No follow up, ignored emails, damaged lights that I later saw had ripped a hole in my mattress (was never addressed)

We walked in to Ashley’s and we were greeted with a bubbly smiled sales lady named Carol , She was wonderful she helped us pick furniture for 5 rooms for our new home and she was amazing she spent over 3 hours with us and helped us decorate our new home , we have never had exceptional service from any other place like we did at Ashley’s Great service and greatly priced furniture and good quality . Carol even on medical leave called and followed up with us checking on our delivery date and making sure everything was going smoothly and even after it was delivered to see if we were happy ,Ashley’s should be proud to have someone like Carol working for them! she is amazing and experienced and knows her stuff so if you need furniture go see Carol we highly recommend her and Ashley’s . Bait and switch scam store... u immediately walk in they swarm u like bees, lady gives u a flyer promising 10% etc if you meet the amount required.... meet the amount required then suddenly the discounts don’t apply to my products... also buyer beware they charge way differently in store vs online for the same exact thing, I’m talking about a $1000 difference on a bedroom set...oh then you try to use the SALEOCLOCK code online and boom suddenly the message comes up valid code but your products don’t qualify... stay away from here!!
If you want your furniture fast, THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO GO!! Spent 2 GRAND, 6 weeks later, the last part of our order came in, then ANOTHER 3 days to deliver it!! (Only positive is....good quality, considering it all came in off a slow boat from CHINA)!

I just bought a sofa and loveseat for a great price at Ashley. While the price was fantastic, I also greatly appreciated the service - I was greeted right when I walked in and told about the specials (for Black Friday and other sales) but then no salesperson bothered me or hovered as I was shopping. Gamal had helped me multiple times (and even offered me coffee from his own Dunkin’s stash of Kcups) but never pushed or pressured me into buying. It was quite a refreshing experience from other stores I’ve been to. He helped me buy the sofas and even gave me travel tips for an upcoming vacation. Great and service all around!

I really was excited to find the store and the extremely reasonable prices.However what a disappointment when it came to having my furniture delivered. The delivery people were not professional movers and really had no idea how to get the couch into my house.I'd actually moved a similar size couch out of that very same doorway they tried to use but they insisted the couch was too large and they took it back to the warehouse. Now the store has the audacity to try to charge me a 20% restocking fee for cancelling my order. That's just not going to happen, sorry to say will not be going back.

So disappointed by my experience at Ashley. I had such high hopes. Please take my advice and listen to the reviews. I didn't and regret it. I purchased 6,000 dollars in furniture for my new home. It has been hell ever since! I had to schedule three separate delivery's for my items which was fine with me problems started from the moment I bought. They messed up my financing and told me I only could do 36 months instead of what they told me prior which was 60. thankfully the store manager called me a few weeks later when I stated my frustration on a survey. First item- My bedroom set arrived damaged. Three out of the four pieces were damaged. A cabinet door on my dresser doesn't close and catch the magnet, my night stand has a large scratch down the center and the dresser drawer doesn't close. . . I called and had to send over a million pictures. They said they could have a tech come out, their earliest appointment was 6 weeks away!!! I agreed to that like an idiot. Second was my mattress. Mattress was fine but the delivery drivers smashed my light out of my wall. I had to call numerous times and was given little information. I had to find an electrician to send an estimate, send the estimate over and after two weeks of being told someone would get back to me they finally agreed to send a check. After trying to negotiate the cost!!! Ridiculous. Much of the work was on my end as I left countless voicemails , dearth with electricians and phone calls left unanswered. Last my dining room table was supposed to be delivered within 4-6 weeks. I patiently waited, On the 6th week I called to check in , they did not have an eta. I received a call the next day stating the furniture had not left the warehouse yet, it still needed to leave the warehouse and go to Ashley's warehouse before being processed and eventually making its way to me. After all is said and one it would add on an additional 4 weeks. I canceled the table. Take my advice and go to Bernie and phyls. Customer service is great and. They had my couch and other items in my home within a week. They are perfect and white Glover delivery I wanted to love Ashley but this experience has left me with a bad taste in my mouth. . DONT DO IT!

The best experience ever buying a couch! Walked around the store at my leisure and wasn’t accosted at all by any salesperson. Unlike Bobs!!! Picked out my couch and then asked for help. Thanks to Carol at the Salem, NH store I was done and out of there in 15 mins. Has the same wonderful experience when I bought my recliner a few years ago. And their prices are so reasonable. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.
I went in knowing what bedroom set I wanted and Carol was very busy but still helped me in record time. I also was looking for a dining set and she was very helpful on that as well. I was in and out quickly and very satisfied. Carol is very friendly and knowledgeable on what the store can offer.

If I could give this review negative stars I would. Purchased a living room set less than 4 years ago with a protection plan. Three months ago I filed a claim as springs are starting to pop up in the cushions. The protection plan company is dragging out the process as they claim they need the technician who visited my house to define what defective means. Laughable. I contacted Ashley customer service directly and was told that they no longer use this protection company and there's nothing they can do for me. Shame on me for expecting furniture to last more than three years in a room we don't even use daily. I would never buy from Ashley again as their product is clearly below standards and there is no recourse when something goes wrong. They claim to offer a one year warranty against defects, so if you only need the furniture for a year, this is the place to shop. Once your check clears, you're on your own. Poor quality, poor customer service.

I saw a sofa and loveseat set on the Ashley website that I wanted to see (and test out) at the store. Unfortunately they didn’t have the set but they happen to have the matching recliner which was good enough! Gamal was our salesman. He was very knowledgeable of the product and the material. He made our experience stress free and easy. This is our second purchase from Ashley and we’ll keep coming back for sure.

HEADS UP CUSTOMERS!!! 5 years ago I purchased a living room set from Ashley Furniture on Kelly Rd. Salem, NH. At the time they suggested a purchase the $99 protection plan which they explained as such....if within 5 years you don't make a claim on the set you will receive the $99 in a check. Well here we are 5 yrs later and I called to find out where my check was......the lady explained this to me....WE DONT PHYSICALLY SEND YOU A CHECK FOR $99....you need to come to the store and purchase something for at least $799.00 (minimum amount), then we subtract the $99 from your total.....I swear on my bible THE SALESMAN NEVER said that.....why would I call if he had? I feel I was taken by Ashley Furniture and now I'm out $99. Buyer beware of the language they twist around .... Very Unsatisfied with the way they did this..... Probably will NEVER go back there again Signed I WAS COUNTING ON THAT CHECK 🤐

Bought our sofa from them. We had some shipping issues, but as far as the store itself goes the staff are super nice and the place was immaculate when we went into the showcase.
My wife and I were looking for an end table. When we stopped by Ashley, we weren't greeted, had to ask for help, pointed in the direction of some tables and that was it. We noticed that almost all of their furniture was on the dark side. Very dark. Quality was questionable. And, if we bought something, we'd have to drive to Hudson to pick it up. I guess we're headed back to jordan's or La-Z-Boy. You get what you pay for.
Do not buy furniture from this store. My wife and I bought a sectional last October. Springs began to pop within 2 months and we have been strung along by their management team. They will sell you on "quality furniture" and their one year warranty. Once your out the door it's on to the next sucker. Poor Product. Poor customer service.

First time we went to Ashley we where looking for a couch. Not only did we get a couch but we also got a love seat.... All at a reasonable price!!!! We recieved them in the exact time frame they said it would come in. And delivery was quick and the couches are perfect. We just got back from purchasing a bedroom set and mattress. Even better is that it will be here in 2 to 3 weeks. I can't wait to see our home fully furnished. ❤

We already knew what we wanted to purchase having researched online, he gave me time to roam around the store and see if they had anything matching my research. We were basically furnishing an entire apartment and he was able to compare store prices with the website to give me the cheapest price. We walked in there wanting to spend a certain amount and we ended up spending exactly that. He's a great sales rep and we would definitely do business there again.

I've been in the market for a new mattress for sometime. I've done some searching because I really hoped to find the closest match to what I currently have now. My mattress is about 10 yrs old, and its about time for a new one. I've shopped at Ashleys in the past but it had been a while. Jose greeted me upon arrival and was amazing. I told him what I had in mind, and funny, although we played with all the mattresses in the store, he had the right idea from the very beginning. I could've taken a nap on the spot. I cannot wait to get my new mattress, I think Jose did a great job helping me choose. I most certainly will be returning and seeking him out for all my furniture. Stop by and definitely ask for Jose. 😊

We purchased a queen sleeper sofa At Ashley’s Home Store in Salem NH. We were greeted by Jose upon entering, he gave us directions then allowed us to search the store without hounding us during our search. He checked in now & again to let us know he was available. This approach was so appreciated by us. Nothing worse than being chased around a store by a sales person.! Ultimately we found what we were looking for, Jose help us with color choice & through final purchase which included 2 matching bookcases. His laid back demeanor only enhanced our first time experience with this store. Once our decision was made, his full attention was on our purchase & it was completed without any issue! When you visit Ashley’s Furniture in Salem NH - ask for Jose- he’s your man! Oh by the way - the merchandise is awesome & reasonably price!

TERRIBLE!!!! I bought this: Coviar Counter Height Dining Room Table and Bar Stools (Set of 5) At the end of putting the chairs together, realized that they had shipped the wrong stretchers and was not able to finish assembling the chairs. I called CS they told me that the parts would ship within a week . . . I called again and they told me that they don't have the parts anywhere in the US and I have to wait a month to get the parts that are coming from China! Absolutely insane. . . . not to mention that some of the parts were defective as well. I would not recommend this at all! DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!! I will never buy anything from this store again!
DISAPPOINTING!! First told our furniture would be in 2 weeks from the day we purchased.. Took over a month! And when they delivered my couch they unwrapped the protective plastic in my driveway and tore up the pillows forcing the couch through my door! They tell me &"You can deny delivery or we can have someone come out to repair the couch&"...hmm i shouldve denied delivery. We hace waited over 2 weeks for a replacement pillow and have to wait an ADDITIONAL MONTH for theyre tech to come out and replace the torn pillow!!! REDICULOUS! Its just BAD customer service. My wife is more dissappointed than Me! And she&'s the understanding one!

I wouldn&'t buy anything from this store again after our 1st and last experience. We bought a recliner from the salesman there and specifically asked if it was all leather because that is what we were looking for. We were informed it was and less than a year later the so called &"leather&" was wearing off and causing red spots from the material underneath on our espresso colored recliner. When called for our warranty they dont cover the material. Are you kidding me? Then when I spoke with a manager I was told she was submitting the claim to corporate to try to get it covered, no response after multiple follow-ups. Poor customer service all around and poor product. If you&'re that desperate you need to tell lies to sell something maybe you should consider another career path.

I bought a bedroom set back on Dec 26th 2018. I was told 2 to 3 weeks for delivery. so my entire bedroom set should have been delivered between the 15th - 18th. I said that was a long time, but since I liked the bedroom set, I said ok. most of my bedroom set will be delivered tomorrow Saturday Jan 18th and thats because I called on the second week just to see how it was going. My bed is still not in until the 25th. 😡 and they were going to wait over a month to deliver everything. I am pissed. I could have gone else where. Over a month to get my entire bedroom set. I have called multiple times to speak with the manager, he is never in. I leave messages and he doesn't call back. I will never recommend this place. EVER

Salesperson, Carol in Salem, NH tracked and updated us through our very large sectional delivery deadline of 12/20. Happy to say we were able to enjoy our new couch with family for the holidays. Better than expected.
Before placing our order in store on Dec 16, we told the salesman we needed it on Jan 5th and he said absolutely no problem, that it was more than enough time. It is now Jan 2nd and the furniture we purchased isn't even in the warehouse yet. They also didn't mention the fact that the warehouse holds the furniture for 3 days once they get it to check the quality. This is the last time we will ever order anything from them. We had the pleasure of working with Gamal at the Salem, NH location. You could tell right away he had a deep knowledge of the furniture business and took the time with us so that we could make an informed decision. This was important as we were looking to invest in some pieces but not overspend. When we went to the store we also had our two elementary aged children with us. He involved them in the process and was absolutely great with them - they want to go back just to visit him! Gamal gave us the support we needed without being a pushy salesperson - even when we didn’t buy anything the first night as we wanted to go home and get some measurements. We will absolutely go back to Ashley to work with him. He is an asset to the business for sure!
Helpful and friendly staff. We were helped by a very polite, amazing customer service sales rep by the name of Candy 2 days in a row because I couldn’t decide and on both occasions she was a delight, definitely would go back.
