Vincent (Vinny) is awesome. Bought a sofa and loveseat for a great price during a holiday special. Came back later for a coffee table and got a holiday special AND used a coupon they gave me. Just now bought another loveseat and sofa (reclining) for an awesome price. ALL with Vinny. He helped us out tremendously. Also, the store will price match the website because apparently the online website is a different LLC!
Not happy that I have to wait 3-4 weeks for delivery. Otherwise, they had exactly what I was looking for.
It was great. We did not feel pressured by sales personnel and we were able to wander around the showroom and take our time choosing our pieces. The selection is amazing. Our furniture rep, Vincent, was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Mike took care of the financing and we took advantage of some great deals due to the holiday. The whole process was easy and stress free. Would definitely recommend to family/friends! Planning on returning in the future.

Went in ready to purchase a sectional. 3 sales people looked me in the eye and did not even greet me. One sales person found me 10 minutes into me strolling around and said to ask if I have any questions and walked away. I guess they missed out on their commission. I saw others walk I. And get instantly greeted and give a tour of the sales floor. Maybe I wasn't dressed for the occasion.
TAKE. YOUR. MONEY. ELSEWHERE. Yes there's some good reviews on here but if you can spot the trend - those people luckily never had to come back to the store with an issue to be resolved. The way the SM of this location treats his paying customers is jarring. I literally receive better problem solving skills and customer service from workers at the Dollar Tree. I simply wanted to exchange a mattress protector that sounds and feels like I am sleeping on a wind breaker - completely mitigates the pillow cushion top mattress that we paid $5,000 for. He had no empathy in his "dialog" with me. Yes I spent over $10k here throughout the years and I feel that is crucial to note because I CHOSE to spend my HARD EARNED money on him & his business - but in return I have ONE SLIGHT issue with a SMALL $150 product I purchased and he shuts me out with absolutely no resolution just SOL. It's simply not about the $150 mattress protector anymore, but the fact that he didn't even ask my name, pull up my account, or ask to see what I was talking about with the mattress protector. I am a Store Manager of a business too, Manny. And NEVER, EVER, could I imagine in a million years turning a loyal customer away for a small exchange of an item that YES, will have to get damaged out because we "slept on" it one night. I have returned items for consumers more expensive then this stupid mattress cover, because that's how you treat loyal customers. I will NEVER be back and luckily my headboard still has not been delivered so I will be able to cancel that. The kicker? I asked Manny where the return policy is posted for this incase I was wrong.. he said "It's not written anywhere". Sick. Thanks.

This place is a joke. I found 2 barstools I fell in love with online and went in to check it out for their HUGE MIDNIGHT SALE. The salesman Dave told me it was $205 per chair… it was $150 on the website. I walked out of the store. I called to see why there was such a big price difference, especially since they were having a huge sale, and the women on the phone said “because we deliver to your house and set it up for you”. For $110? I called a different location and they matched the online price and delivered and set up for free
Furniture you'll love at prices you can afford. Raymour is ok but so expensive. Bob's has well known quality issues and poor customer service to address those issues. Ashley offers furniture that will make you smile without breaking the bank. They often have great promotional low to no interest finance options. They make buying furniture, a stress free experience.

We had a good shopping experience at Ashley until we got home and went to their website to double check dimensions and specifications for what we had purchased. Their website price for the exact same recliner was $500+ less online than what we had been charged in the store. That was before delivery, protection, and taxes. We like what we selected, but we certainly won’t be going back to Ashley in the future given their questionable pricing tactics.

Stopped in today thinking I’d see what they had to offer as a repeat customer who recently sold their home. Not 1 employee came up to us during our 20 minute stay. Not only that, we walked past several employees and only 1 spoke. 1 employee who was closest to the entryway completely ignored us but warmly greeted the couple who walked in right after us 🤣. The final straw was we had actually found a sofa we liked and another couple was eyeing the same sofa. One of the employees actually greeted them and asked if they had any questions about said sofa but still we were not acknowledged. Not sure what was going on today, but I’ll take my business elsewhere

I've worked the sales industry before, so I get the need to engage with customers and follow your script to sell a product, but holy hell, do these salespeople HOUND YOU DOWN. With all due respect and no disrespect meant to the friendly people working here but certain customers have boundaries. I understand trying to make a sale, but I ask you to leave me be like 3 times, you should probably leave me be. Like, I had found something I wanted (for reference the Soletren Ash Gray sofa and love seat) but wanted to explore my options ON MY OWN, which I expressed 3 whole times. Now, instead of giving an employee who doesn't nearly get paid enough a good sale, I'm buying it online because screw that noise. Screw the sales industry and screw chain corps that make their employees into hounds so those employees can barely feed themselves.
Nice furniture setup, lots of appealing groupings. Our sales lady was so helpful and not pushy at all. I bought this living room set and i wasn't even going in to buy anything, my daughter was.

We have been using Ashley Funiture for years because of the great customer service and quality of the furniture. Jeff, our salesman today, showed us a number of options for mattresses, and made recommendations. It was a seemless transaction. We will be back, when we are ready to buy a master bedroom set.
Horrible! This has been the worst experience and continues to get worse. We waited months and months for our sofa set to come in after being told it would be two weeks. We purchased a warranty, when my sofa needed repair they sent out a member of their team, who spray painted my sofa, while my children and I were in my home once I was having a hard time breathing I realized it wasn’t a cleaner I told him I was pregnant and he responded “ it’s okay the baby will come out a little crazy like me” I have home surveillance and caught this encounter. I called Ashley, they never had the manager return my call. I have called many times , still awaiting someone to call. This sofa is now flacking and gets all over our clothing, on my children and Ashley has yet to respond! Please if anyone endures this response so we can take this further!!!

Purchased a bed that damaged my wooden floor. The bed does not come with any type of rubber protection between the floor and the bed or parts of the bed. Not was it even offered. Just called customer service and pretty much said that’s your problem even after I spent over $6,000 for there furniture. They put the blame of there manufacture they purchased Thousands of units from. Pretend they have no say in the inventory they purchase. Won’t be seeing me there again. Rather pay more for better care else ware.

I was previously in earlier this week and saw a sectional I really loved and was treated rudely so I left I kept thinking about the sectional and decided to call to see if it was still available it was a floor model. I spoke with Aiden over the phone and it was there she put it aside for me and we went to look at it. Aiden was such a sweetheart she was kind and friendly and very professional. Thank you Aiden for being so kind and redeeming Ashley Furniture for us we appreciate good customer service.

It is a 3rd party that repairs but the prompt service and prompt ordering of parts is phenomenal!!! We had Tyler come out 2 different times and what a GREAT guy . Very patient and very honest. Jordan was our salesperson and he was too cool!! He was very professional and patient. He didn’t hover over us, he let us look around, shop and anytime we needed him he was within an earshot, again didn’t hover!! We left buying our dinette set. He is definitely our guy next time we come back!

I purchased a bed frame from them & not even 5min after my frame being put together by them the frame collapsed. I contacted them they said someone would be in contact that day to schedule a day to come out & fix it. The fact that it just happened I didn’t see why it would take days but ok. Only problem was no one contacted me that day. It took 2 days for someone to finally contact me about fixing my bed. & once they did I informed them since no one ever got back to me I went to Lowe’s & fixed it myself. They answered me back with an unprofessional text in my opinion but that’s just my opinion. I decided to call Ashley furniture back & inform them about my bad experience & the text message I just kept being told that it wasn’t them it was a company the sub contracted out to & that I didn’t answer my phone when that subcontracted company contacted me multiple times. I explained to them that that company was lying that they didn’t call me. (I informed them I have a screen shot of my Voicemails & deleted voice mails if needed.) I received a call back from the CS Manager Lauren we got into a heated discussion because she kept insisting that they did call me & leave a voicemail when I was telling her they didn’t her response was “They are not allowed to lie” well I’m telling her that is a problem because they did. I told her all I wanted was for her to speak to the company they are subcontracting out to because they are doing bad business I didn’t hire them I hired Ashley Furniture it was Ashley who decided to subcontract out to people who do bad business. She tells me if I have an issue with what they did I need to contact them. Other than that all she could offer me was a 50 dollar gift card. I spent 175.00 for deliver & labor 80.00 for the product at Lowe’s to fix the bed 40.00 for the tip for the original workers who delivered. So honestly that 50.00 gift card isn’t nothing compared to what I had to pay when it comes to the money I lost. But all I wanted was for Ashley furniture to speak to the company they hired!!! And all I kept getting on the phone was insinuations that I was just careless with my phone by not answering my phone which is false. At one point in the call she keeps insisting they are not allowed to lie so I say but they did then she says they can’t sooo I say YOUR CALLING ME A LIAR THEN. on this call at one point I did say a explicit word which I apologized for and I’m wrong for that. I just feel like as a returning customer who has paid like 3k at least total to Ashley this was handled wrong. No paying customer should deal with bad service like this but definitely not a returning one. I Speed threw this just a tad bit but all in all I will definitely never step foot in Ashley Furniture again.

Went to the outlet first had great costumer service was redirected to main store for better selection. Went to main store the salesman was a great help he moved furniture around so I could visualize my room layout and drew out my design on paper!
Not only was I happy when I purchased my furniture 7 years ago (2 living room, 1 bedroom set). I had to call last week in reference to my adjustable bed and the warranty company wanted the original receipt & the copy of the warranty. I called and spoke with Manuel who was able to get copies and email them to me within a day. I praise them for their customer service and will be a repeat customer for sure. I highly recommend this store

I DO NOT recommend this Ashley Furniture store at all or any of the ones owned by the same person. We made a purchase for a new home and told it was okay to order even though the home would not be complete for several months. They told us they would hold the furniture for us until needed. Fast forward and we call to have the delivery scheduled and the furniture was no longer available at that time because they decided it was ok to lend our furniture to another person from another store that needed it. They NEVER DISCLOSED to us that there doing this either. We then were told our delivery would be in 3 parts. Our house was not local that we had built and they told us no problem they still delver to that area once a week, but now because of their screw up we had to keep taking off work to go up there. On the second delivery we were told the day before that it wouldn’t be delivered because they didn’t get it on the truck in time. Then we went to another Ashley in PA for some other stuff we needed because we were not giving this store any more of our money and they price matched from what the website had plus the store deal on top of that and if a new deal came up that would be less they call you to tell you of a better deal. We DID NOT get that from our salesman here in Turnersville. And we could of saved ourselves over $3000 if we ordered from PA store instead of the Ashleys in Turnersville. We received a fake apology and they have now just lost a long time customer plus the business of a lot of our family and friends for how they run a business.
We went to the store today to buy a replacement sofa using our extended warranty claim. It went smoothly and we were able to find a great new sofa. Our salesperson Ada was so patient with us as we ask about several different sofas/sectionals before coming to a decision. Customer service handled the paperwork fast and easy! Fingers crossed that delivery goes as smoothly.

I liked how when we got there, someone greeted us without making us feel like they were pouncing. She told us to feel free to look around and she’d be available if we needed help, which we did. Carolina was awesome!. She listened to my husband’s needs and my needs, and knew exactly what to show us. She knew which pieces would match other pieces, and even carried around pillows of certain colors so we could see how the fabrics and colored woods blended. We found exactly what we needed. She made us feel like we were walking around with our friend. And she sure knew her stuff! We will definitely be back to see her again!

Such an Awesome experience with Ashley Furniture in Turnersville NJ! I initially picked a different set out with my husband and son, ( The Man- Den). They loved all the bells and whistles it offered, however it really wasn’t what I was looking for. After talking me into it, we ordered the set that would take two weeks to come in. Within the two weeks, I made several visits back to the store matching paint and rug colors and checking to see if any new sets had arrived in store or online. I voiced my concern to Steve, my salesman, who was so patient and understanding with my indecisiveness. While scrolling threw Ashley’s site I found a NEW reclining sectional that was exactly what I was looking for, problem was it was New and not in any of the stores yet. So of course I had many questions on dimensions, comfort and colors. Thanks to Steve and his Manager (who also was extremely patient and informative) I canceled my original order and purchased the online set (Leadman).I am super excited and can’t wait for it to be delivered!

She would not put Him on the phone. Total mess had to call the police, electric company and Verizon. I had furniture delivered. The Company that was delivered the furniture. Tore down the wire on the house. The Trucking Company was easy to Deal with. STILL NO RESPONSE FROM ASHLEY'S FURNITURE . UNPROFESSIONAL .

We came here on a whim to look at sofas. The showroom had so many options, it really helped us nail down our preferred style, color, and material. Vincent helped us out, even moving furniture around the store so we could see how pieces of different sets look together! We called the store they sent out service technicians found the trampoline support broke away from frame. They fixed it but it concerns me that a new piece of furniture wound do that I hope it stands up through the years

As far as in store and delivery experience by far excellent. However after delivery I realized a bolt was missing from my table. I have reached out to Ashley so many times I've lost count . Even though I bought the extended warranty I still can't seem to even get the 1 simple bolt that's missing . I will not purchase anything else from Ashley since their customer service is so awful .

Spent $4000 for a coffee & end table, a power recliner and a chaise sofa. To say this is terrible furniture is being generous. I sold the recliner at a $1000 loss 6 months later. Unfortunately I’m stuck with the worst couch I’ve ever owned, or sat on for that matter. I don’t care what the reviews say, Ashley is awful quality and terribly uncomfortable

Background - It was my 75 year old mother and I shopping one evening as mom had already determined she wanted a set from another furniture company - Howard Hills it was already picked out from our visit 2 days prior. However after asking around at work for another recommendation Ashley Homestore was recommended as having a great selection and reasonable pricing. My mother was not interested but agreed to entertain the visit so she could make her actual purchase with the other company that weekend. The Service: Ms. Ada Romano was amazing! She greeted us with a smile upon entering the store and asked questions about what we were looking to purchase. The best part was Ada provided the level of support based on our answers, we wanted a specific sytle because again mom already knew what she wanted to purchase. Ada directed us to the section and let us chat, sit, recline and was close enough to pop over when we had questions and provide additional information on different options available. Ada was patient and she always spoke with both of us making mom feel seen and heard. Yes we did find something even better than what mom originally picked out and it was in stock rather than the 3 month wait for the other store or the in-stock option of the “wrong” color. The Products: There was a great selection, different fabrics, power vs manual, size and of course comfort level. It was a pleasure to see so many options that catered to so many different style tastes. All the items we liked were available and ready for delivery within - wait for it 3 days! We did go with the Ashley financing because it was a great rate 0% for 5 years and the application and approval was done within 5 minutes. I think it was actually quicker. The Result: We purchased the set and it was delivered within 3 days just as promised and setup was flawless. The furniture looks and feels amazing and was the perfect end to a great year for my mother.

Love the furniture we chose but was never told of the exorbitant delivery charge until my card was in their hand. Was told they could and would do a partial delivery of the sectional, then after payment was completed, was told they could not.

Got a postcard in the mail from Ashley for 60 month special financing plus free local delivery " no minimum purchase required ". After placing the order the sales rep insisted we needed to spend $1,000 in order to get the free shipping. She checked with the manager and he said the same thing. It's only $70 so I let it slide, but I probably won't be shopping at Ashley again.

I went to Ashley looking for a specific table and chairs set. They did not have the exact color in the specific set; however, Mark went above what I expected moving chairs from one set too another for me to get an idea of what I wanted. It was a very non pressure shopping experience that made browsing very pleasant!!

10/29/2022 I went to Ashley with my grandfather to help him purchase and new bed for him and my grandmother . We were instantly greeted by sales associate Ada . Ada was very high strung and immediately took us the more expensive beds. My grandfather is in his 70s so I did some of the talking for him and explained wile wanted to pay a certain amount and didn’t want to spend thousands of dollars . Ada assisted and gave us quotes that we were satisfied with . Ada stated to myself and grandfather that delivery , installation and removal of mattress and old bed were FREE several times . She even gave us a plastic bag to cover the mattress stating that if the mattress was soiled the delivery team wouldn’t take it . Our mattress was not soiled but we still used the bag . She also said she would get the correct attachments since we got a special bed they need to connect with the headboard properly. What seemed like a seamless transaction yesterday turned out not to be today . At 9:30am I get a call from my grandparents stating the delivery team is refusing to take the old bed and threatened to leave it on our front porch stating that salespeople lie all the time and they do not take old furniture and that in order to do so it would cost $60. So we pay the $60 to have the old bed and mattress removed but also find out the brackets to connect the headboard don’t fit and they can’t connect the headboard so they had to push the bed up against the headboard and the window in the bedroom to keep it in place . So it’s clear we need to go back to the store . Myself and grandfather go back to the store and the young lady at the front greets us and says we can go back to customer service after I asked to speak to the manager . But before we can get back Ada is standing by some furniture and giving me a dirty looks and says “ I guess there was a problem so go back and talk to Ethan “ . For someone who lied , cost us additional money and a second trip to the store which is not close to our home she was extremely rude and didn’t bother to ask what’s wrong how can’t the situation be fixed or anything . Ethan the manager basically said he’s sorry and the earliest we can get the new brackets for the headboard is Wednesday 11/2. He said he would speak to Ada about her behavior and that technically the delivery company was right . Ada is a shady salesperson who cost my grandparents extra time and money and there seemed to be no real resolutions to her behavior or shady business practices . Don’t EVER work with her !!!!
Worst experience ever ! Ordered a bedroom set . It came in 3 deliveries but before I could have the prices delivered they would make me drive to the store to sign . 3 times k had to drive 1 hour to sign for delivery . How ridiculous!? The bed came with a stain and they could care less . Never again !

BUYERS BE WARNED! A few years ago we bought a bunch of furniture from here including a leather sectional that ripped at the seam. No problem because we bought the insurance (that they practically force on you), right? Wrong! They just refuse to fix anything. The insurance is a nightmare to talk to and they go against their own policy that clearly states "Separation of seams & joints" are covered on leather furniture. Don't trust the quality of the furniture here or the fact you have insurance on it. It's a scam. But luckily for us we are going to pursue this further with a lawyer.

I will never purchase anything else from Ashley Furniture. I made two big purchases with this store and I have had items delivered broken and unrepairable. Purchased a sleeper and waited several months for delivery. Conveniently the location didn't have a sample in the showroom but I needed a sleeper. Now I know why they didn't have any sleeper samples. The sleeper squeaks (like a whoopie cushion) when you sit on it because of the space between the cushion and the metal frame. Ashley Furniture technician came to inspect and said there is nothing that they can do. Received a call from the rep and was told the same thing. There is nothing that can be done because some sleepers make that sound and they don't know which ones do and don't make the sound. "I asked to return the sleeper for a non-sleeper (same brand) and was told I needed to do that 3-days after it was delivered. It, honestly, sounds like a whoopie cushion. It will be never-ending embarrassing to have guests sit on it. I paid over $1K for a whoopie cushion. I have had issues with the furniture I purchased from Ashley furniture since day 1 of receipt. I am extremely disappointed with Ashley Furniture and will never purchase another item from this furniture store. The quality is low standard. Buyer Beware. If its not in the showroom don't buy it. There is a reason.
My wife and I liked what we bought this past weekend. Everything is extra delivery, warranty, etc. stores should have there in home delivery services to reduce costs. it was almost an extra 300 or so . companies should automatically warranty what the sell like the old days.
I’ve been a customer for about 10 years, the customer service is a 5 star for me from my initial phone call to meeting the sales representative very professional and knowledgeable he(Vincent) was even able to get me an additional discount! Sean Klein of Ashley Furniture of Turnersville, NJ was a great salesperson. He was very informative about the products. He found everything we needed and even a bookcase I had my eye on for awhile. He let us know what was in stock so we didn't have to wait. Ashley has a numerous amount of options in stock, which made finding a living room set so easy. I had only wished we had gone their first.

Vince was great! My fiancé and I both work commission sakes jobs and we hate to take up someone’s time when we are “just looking”. I can be very indecisive which drives her nuts lol. Our mattress marked higher than what we got it for, he made sure we were able to get the same mattress without paying out of pocket expense and on top of that was able to get delivery right way without charge! We went in the late morning then decided to check at another brand name store but ultimately came back to make our final purchase, the same day. He was very helpful in moving a piece so we could see if it matched the set we were intent on buying. My husband & I went in looking frumpy & we were not discriminated against which lead me to be comfortable ultimately making a somewhat large purchase with them.

My family and I came in to look for a bedroom set after looking at all the different types that we liked I checked the bottom and there were these thin wooden support beams that I know would break quickly. We decided to not buy them here, we then started to look at the temperpedic mattress. We bought one, after one day of sleeping on it it was horrible i have never slept on something so bad in my life and I am a combat veteran I have slept on the ground in cots on top of humvees you name it. I called the store to get the items returned the store manager refused and said they dont have a return policy but if I wanted to return the mattress and the base I would have to wait 30 days I have lower back problems and herniated discs in my neck and have to see my chiropractor at the VA all the time for this. The store manager also said that we would have to sleep on it for those 30 days to break it in. I told him I can't do this because of my conditions he didn't care so now we are waiting it out to see it they will return it or not. They are not friendly after you purchase here in my own opinion I would find another store to buy furniture or mattresses.

We ordered a bedroom set on October 22, 2021 and was told it would be in by February '22. The dresser came in on January 11 and was delivered, but damaged. I accepted it because Ashley told me that they would be delivering us a new drawer. I have been paying for a damaged piece of furniture for the last 3 months and still No dresser drawer. We got notification that the bed would not be delivered until the end of May '22. At that point wanted to cancel that whole thing but the manger said that I could not return the dresser if I cancelled.
We had a great experience at Ashley’s today. Carolina waited on us and made sure me got exactly what we wanted and needed. She was excellent!!
I hate dealing with stalker furniture sales people until I met Jordan Ganteaume who was the most helpful & personable person. His professional knowledge & willingness to answer any question was a great help.. He took time to find me the best deal & explained all of my options in detail. My husband and I were in need of a new reclining couch. Patrick helped us from start to finish. Super nice guy, explained everything we needed to know. We look forward to receiving our couch once it gets delivered! Thank you Patrick! UPDATE: I removed a star only because of the long wait and lack of any updates. Now, they do state furniture may arrive up to 90 days late due to worker shortage. In my case, it was basically just that. It was estimated to arrive December 6th. We didn't get a call until March 11th to schedule the delivery. So yes, don't listen to the estimated date at all. Just add 90 days to it and assume that I'd your true estimated date. If you call to check on the staus, like we did in January, they will tell you "next week" only for next week to arrive, and no update. They will NOT call you, or email you, or text you ever UNTIL they physically have your furniture ready to be put on a truck for delivery. So just be super patient and wait. So yes, other than the LONG wait and 0 status updates, we love our new couch and are very happy with it now that it is FINALLY here.

I would give zero stars. Bought living room furniture October 2, 2021, paid in full. I was told it would take 3 months. The 3 months came and went, I called, they didn't call me. I was given no answers of delivery or expected arrival. I waited another 3 weeks, I called again, no answers. At 5 months, I had enough, I cancelled the order and received a full refund. The salesman, manager or someone should have called to update me from the start and they should tell customers of the serious delays, NOT 3 months. I will never go here again.

I am HIGHLY disappointed in this company’s customer service. They transfer you to service, nobody answers EVER, so I leave messages. Just to get no call back. I call back again, they lady’s at customer care will take a message for service.. I get no call back from service. The lady’s downstairs are easy to talk to but the other departments do not get back to you. It’s a shame because I LOVE, LOVE their furniture. It’s always great quality but their customer service makes me not want to buy from them again. When I have issues, I can’t get into contact with anyone to get it fixed. They were supposed to reach out to the manufacturer about my couch & I got no call back about it. It’s been months since I talked to someone about getting a replacement part for my couch.

This is now the second time they have messed up my order. Not sure why I gave them a second chance to do this.. but here we are. Last year I went into the store and selected a couch that I loved. They then delivered the wrong couch. Nice quality couch but. Not the correct style or color that I ordered… This time around I went into the store to select a desk and chair for my home office. Was a beautiful L-shaped desk with the L on the right, which was super comfy as I’m right handed. They were building the desk and it looked off so I mentioned the L was on the wrong side but they did not understand me and kept building, so I walked away. Once they were done I went to inspect the finished product and it is in fact on the wrong side, the top glass is not secured to the desk… and the legs are screwed on very crooked. The white chair has many black dingy marks on it.all around atrocious. Called customer service, sat on hold for 40 minutes, was next in line and then they disconnected the call. I called right back and of course there’s now 6 people ahead of me. Very irked.

The whole visit was easy and efficient. We were ordering the items selected by our daughter and inly really needed to order and leave, but the sales manager went out of his way to help us understand what we were purchasing for our adult daughter (as a gift) and the options available. Ordered a kitchen set first week in September 2021 from Carolina our sales rep. A week later I looked over the receipt to see I was charged the wrong price and they ordered the wrong table and chairs. I wanted standard height and they ordered pub height. I went back to the store and they made the corrections after arguing with me that I told them that it what I asked for. They also at this point promised me in writing December 05 or sooner. I asked the manager Ethan to write that in his handwriting on my invoice and sign it, and to do the same on his copy so he would also have a copy of what he promised me. He went on to add, as he looked at the computer, it is in distribution and I should expect it much sooner. Therefore I called today Novembęr 26, 2021. I spoke with Carolina who them cowardly had Ethan call me back to tell me, I could expect it 2nd week in January 2022. I asked him if he remembered the conversation we had, he said yes, and then stated I could have a refund if I wanted....really??? I can have my money back fir the items that I paid for in full months in advance and do not have ???? This is no way to do business. They should not be selling items they can not get. Yeah I know COVID-19, no excuse for poor business practices, and if I didn’t call, I would still be waiting like a fool. I will never ever do business with Ashley and certainly tell anyone who asks about my poor experience.
When going into Ashley HomeStore in Turnersville I had no intention on buying anything. We were approached Ada who told us to have fun and take our time. No one followed us or stalked us! Because Ada was so awesome when we did need her help we, we ended up buying a living room set!!!

Vince was super helpful, he brief us on discount, delivery, how to look for listing of other colors available, also credit with 0% interest x 24 months then left us to explore the showcases furniture throughout the store, however, when we had a question he wasn't far away to answer our questions. Sales lady was amazing! However, the delivery dates were over a month late.I am VERY unhappy with the delivery service. On the day of delivery, I was given a delivery time of between 11am-3pm. I called the store at 2:50pm for a status update and they were in the process of loading my furniture at that moment and still had two deliveries before they even get to me. The store is literally less than a mile from my house. A complete waste of my day. I have been waiting for this furniture for almost 3 months. Delivery service is unsatisfactory. Suggestion: Give people more accurate times or call them half way through their timeframe with a delivery status update. Common courtesy and better business practice.Update: When told it would take a month and it takes three to have a chest "made to order", I expect it to be perfect and functional upon arrival. The sliding door on my daughters chest was made with cheap plastic parts, not metal! The plastic "rollers" didn't align with the door to where the door fell off and would not stay on the plastic track. Thank goodness I got the piece on sale and not full price. If it were made with metal hardware and the back was not two pieces of nailed in cardboard, it would be worth the full price. It's not.

Warminster PA location -Horrible experience started out bad ended bad. First piece of furniture was late on arrival and went to the wrong address had to call customer service just to relay message to deliver driver Last piece of furniture my pool table guys delivered it didn't install it and when I opened it days later since you need a few people to help it was broken. Called customer service very rude offered no help wanted to speak to a manager and they refused told me to take pics and email it it in well its been weeks no response made a complaint with the credit card department and will write to the president of the company Do not shop there go to Raymond and flannigan

We came to Ashley's to look for recliners. Mark met us at the door and directed us to the areas that we wanted to look. My wife Trudy found what she liked almost immediately. We decided on recliner loveseat electronic for easy up easy down. And also a lamp that my wife liked. We have up to 36 months after receiving all the furniture to pay back at 0% interest. I really like that! Thank you Mark and staff we're helping us to choose the furniture my wife really likes.

I bought my living room and kitchen set in April and I’m not getting them in full until late august. And I was told 6-8 weeks delivery time, and when I called them they said no it’s coming in august and my kitchen chairs are coming in July. Chairs with no table smh 🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️

Ada was lovely and tolerated my partner and I wanting to look all over the store for every piece we wanted! We liked a wall unit that came in another color that was not showcased in the store, but there was a bedroom set from the same design set in the color we liked. In order to help us envision our living room set, she offered to take some cushions to the bedroom set, to see how our couch would look. Also the reverse, to take a drawer from the bedroom set to the couch. While picking a coffee table, she ran all over the store taking measurements for us to help us narrow down our search. When we found a table with dimensions that matched the shape of our couch, she offered to have the table moved to the couch so we could see everything together! We felt like royalty, getting such excellent treatment. Her enthusiasm was refreshing, and I would definitely recommend her as an associate.

All I can say is I have been a loyal customer for 20 plus years and to have the manager strong arm me for money is unacceptable. We go in to buy a sofa and are told that shipping is going to cost $180.00...because were $ 50 short of free shipping....however if we buy a pillow for $50 we will get free shipping. I told our sales rep I didnt think that was fair so she hung up on me. I called back to speak with Manager and he thought it was perfectly fine what she did. I also offered to pick up sofa and he said pick up would be in North Jersey which is 1.5 hours away from us...... As a business owner, I must say totally unprofessional and unacceptable.

I have purchased a number of items from Ashley's over the years. Unfortunately my most recent experiences were not good. I needed to purchase a sleeper couch and after shopping decided to purchase from Ashley's. The sales rep indicated that while a sleeper model was not available to test in store, she owned one herself and it was extremely comfortable. Tl;dr Ashley's sold me a horrendously poor quality product and indicated there was nothing they could do about it after delivery. I ordered the couch, which took about 3.5 months to deliver due to backlog orders (many suppliers are dealing with COVID-related issues, so this was expected). I had to call several times to get an update and force a scheduled delivery, but that's a minor thing. Once the couch arrived we found it seriously lacking in quality. The couch itself was comfortable (saving grace), but the mattress and fold out for the sleeper are extremely poor quality. The "mattress" is a thing topper-like pad, not attached to the couch, and covered in a floral gold-thread sleeve like something out of the fifties. It may as well not be there, flattening from it's ~2.5" thickness to perhaps a 1/4" thickness from just laying on it. It's cheap low density foam that is horrendously uncomfortable when combined with the mechanical supports under the cot fabric. It is more comfortable to sleep on the floor than the couch. I called to complain and was first told I should have upgraded (which was later clarified to not be an option) and then was told there was nothing that could be done since the quality is as intended, not a defect. I was clearly lied to by the rep and there is no accountability for the sales folks, company, or any apparent interest in addressing customer concerns after sale. After years of buying, I won't buy more from a company that handles issues like this. Unfortunately, I also ordered an end table to match another I have in my house. This was supposed to be delivered in a week to the store. I arrived only to be told the sales rep ordered the wrong part (initially I was blamed, frustratingly). They did offer to resolve this and that they'd call me back in a week when the right delivery was in. It's been 2 weeks of course, no call. At some point in the future, probably initiated by me, I suppose I'll receive this. Hopefully it's a more satisfying experience than with the couch. 2 stars since at least the customer service department picked up the phone and the couch part is comfortable, not because I will willingly buy more from Ashley's.

Ordered my couch back in October and it’s still not here and it’s February. They sent me an email and said it will now be here in March. When you go to the store they will tell you 12 weeks. I’m telling you right now it will be longer than that. Go to raymour and flanigan it’s much faster.
Got stiffed on a matching recliner for our sectional that we were assured would be fulfilled. Waiting for a bedroom set that we purchased before getting stiffed on recliner 1.5 months after projected delivery. Staff are rude. They don’t return calls, lie and said they did- managers are never on-site when I call, or they just left. Save yourself the aggravation- they blame their delivery issues on covid but they have reviews like this long before covid. Maybe they should stop taking people’s money until they can fulfill orders.

The worst experience ever in a retail store. Salesman Rich T. was unbelievable rude and arrogant. I was shopping with my grandmother for a kitchen table and she was deciding which table to get. I guess because we were looking at a table that was $500 or below he didn't want to help us because he wouldn't make good commission off of it. After about 10 minutes of looking at the table, he comes over and says "come on, this is taking way too long for a little table like this" in a rudest way possible and hands me a paper and tells me to fill it out myself. In disbelief of what he said, we walked out immediately. Coming from a person who works in a sales position, I would NEVER talk to someone or treat someone so disrespectfully as Rich T. did.
If there was a rating below 1 Ashley would get it. This is the 2nd time dealing with them and getting screwed for MONTHS without our furniture. Shame on me for going back but the first time was a couch, that we never received after waiting more than 5 months, and this time was a simple kitchen table that we really liked and fit our house perfectly. It was Supposed to be in by Jan 15th. They just told me that the table might be in by the end of January BUT THE CHAIRS WONT BE IN UNTIL AFTER MARCH!!!! How does that make any sense?! Extremely displeased with their lack of follow through. The sales people in the store seem helpful upon purchase because they need the commission but don’t tell me something will be in on a date and then come at me with MONTHS later than agreed. Ashley Homestore should be ashamed.

The service was good but the electric reclining sofa seating went down so much, that I felt like I was sitting in a torture chair because of my back issues, which was explained to our salesmen, who also talked us into a 5 yr worry free warranty that was useless to us because every time we called and sent pictures to customer service, we got the runaround! We always bought our furniture from Raymore and Flanagan and never had a problem and they replaced it with a new sofa. STAY AWAY FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE, AND GO TO R+F, because they STAND BEHIND THIER WARRANTY AND THE BOTTOM LINE IS, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! It lasted about 2months, endless unanswered calls to cust service to replace it or fix it, as we were told by our salesmen never got resolved, what a waste of money 1500.00 went out thr window when we finally went back to Raymore and Flanagan and bought a beautiful sofa with a free replacement warranty 13 months later! They lost my family's business and I tell everyone I know to stay away from ashly and go to Raymore and FLANAGAN BECAUSE THEY STAND BEHIND THIER WARRANTY and they call you back!! I put this electronic sofa in my family room downstairs and the funny thing is my dog even knows its uncomfortable because he won't sit on it but he loves the new one!
Ordered a couch almost 3 months ago that was supposed to come in 4-6 weeks that i still have no definite date of delivery. After the estimated delivery date passed & not a single email, text or phone call was made to me, i took it upon myself to reach out & try and get a status update. Still didnt recieve accurate information. Every 2 weeks ive called for an update with empty promises of it should be arriving soon. I know everything is being pushed back because of covid & ive tried being understanding, but this is just un acceptable at this point. After i finally recieve my couch, (which will probably be around 3.5 months after initial order date) i definitely wont be a returning customer.

I have purchased furniture from you multiple times in the past 6 years or so. I have been very happy with it until today. When moving my buffet because a wire became unplugged one of the legs bent. We laid down the buffet to see what was wrong with it. There was a big chunk of wood missing from around the broken leg and the screws were only able to be screwed in a very little bit do the one corner leg was hanging by a thread. We unscrewed all 4 legs and found that the one broken corner had a fatter acre put on it I am assuming that when it was put together the person assembling it knew it was broken and put a fatter screw. I am just shocked to find this years later. There was never a reason to look under the tv stand or to move it before now as we can clean under it without moving it. We were planning on coming in to purchase new living room furniture as well as outside patio furniture now that you sell that. Please contact me with some kind of resolution to this issue please. We purchased all of our furniture at the Ashley’s on the black horse pike inTurnersville nj This really has me upset because what if it collapsed and the tv fell on our little one. Someone obviously thought they could put a fatter screw in to get away with it. I sent a private message with no reply also.

I’ve been buying from Ashley Furniture for over a decade and recently had the worst experience at this location. I purchased furniture for 2 rooms based on a promotion I was told about but then I never received the promotion. It took months of getting the run around from the store manager Manny, etc. and then finally speaking to the VP for me to get the promotion. I will never go back to this location again. Go to the cherry hill location. I didn’t have any issues at that one.
Once again my furniture is paid for but no sign of it. Paid for a desk 2 months ago and it keeps getting pushed back even further than that. Why have a furniture store if you don’t have furniture. I’ll never use them again. No communication either I have to keep calling. Hopefully you aren’t in any hurry to get your furniture after they get your money. Delivery takes weeks and when you try to get updates you here different things from different employees. One the Turnersville location they are super pushy and the one manager is so unbelievably rude. I’d go to Raymour and Flanagan our experience there was much better.

The customer service ladies here are so rude, especially the woman Jeannie. Her tone is nasty, she talks to you like you're a child, and has no respect for your concerns. I said to her, I'm sorry to bother you, I will never use your store again". She laughs and says, " oh I know you won't". That was very unprofessional and flat out nasty. My recent experience with this company has only shown me they don't care about their customers concerns at all. You basically have no right to be upset or dissatisfied with their service or they find it funny and tell every staff member in the store you're a bad person. 2 years of customer loyalty means nothing to Ashley's.

Upon my first visit to Ashley Furniture in Blackwood, i was in the market for a mattress set for under 2k total. James was my salesman that day. He was nice in helping us get to decide which one was best for us. I couldn’t figure out what i wanted so i wanted to leave to think about it. He pulled me aside from my family and told me, i know you’re going to go to other stores to check prices but i promise you we have the best around and blah blah. I felt pressured and found myself picking something just to get out of there. He told me I’d have 7 days to decide if i liked the mattress once we got it. I also picked out a headboard and frame to go with the mattress. After 3 days with the mattress we decided we hated it and wanted to pick a different one. I called the store and James told me that they don’t do returns on used mattresses. Wait what?! He tells me to call customer service to see if they’ll help me out at and and that it’s a shame because it’s a really good mattress... Customer service gave me the 30 day comfort guarantee as a courtesy. 30 days go by and i call. Someone came out and inspected the mattress and i got store credit for it. We ended up getting our money back on the headboard and foundation because the date for delivery kept getting pushed back. When we came back to pick out a new mattress, Fran helped us and she was very honest, patient, kind and answered all of our questions. If you’re going there for a bed, make sure you have Fran helping you! I don’t think i would go through this process again if i had another choice. Customer service is nice and they do have decent prices and mattresses but i didn’t appreciate James manipulating me into finalizing a sale.

Although my in store experience was good, things changed with the delivery. 1.The delivery people gave me a hard time about taking the old box springs, which I was told would be taken. 2. The heads up bedframe was supposed to fit inside the old bedframe. It does not. It is actually larger than the mattress. I cannot use a headboard. I was told by the salesperson that there would be no issue attaching a headboard because the frame would fit inside the old one. 3. I was shown in the showroom a frame that had a flush bracket to hold the mattress at the base. The one on my frame sticks out and falls forward sticking out even further. I have bumped my legs on it consistently since it was installed. 4. All of the frames I was shown had a support piece under the mattress, my "free" frame does not. I am not happy. I was told my heads up frame was just like the ones in the store; I was not shown the model I received. I was misled. I would like to find a resolution to this matter.
I am a first time home buyer and Richard L made the furniture buying process as smooth as it could be. Very knowledgeable on each product and very customer friendly. This was my first time purchasing furniture and Richard made me very comfortable with the buying process. I was trying to place an order online for bedroom furniture for my children, but had an issue processing the order so I decided to go to the store to place the order. Bob greeted me as soon as I walked in and took care of my order quickly and made sure I got the lowest prices possible. Excellent customer service and I will be returning soon to purchase living room furniture.

Purchased Furniture November 2015, We purchased a dining room set coffee table sectional and loveseat. We were told by the sales person at the time that most of the sectionals do start to peel after a while and if that were to happen to call when we see it peeling and that we could use our warranty to have it replaced. We were OK knowing that it might peel but understood that it’s not going to last forever it wasn’t the most expensive furniture in the store but that sounded reasonable to us at the time that if something did happen that it would be covered under the warranty. In September 2019 the sectional did start to show very small signs of peeling I contacted customer service immediately and spoke to Sylvester on September 22 who automatically assumed that I had waited for months to call in and before I could finish my sentence told me that my warranty was not good anymore on the piece of furniture because it had been too long I told him that I had just noticed it and that I had actually called him right away he told me that I had to send in pictures of the damaged furniture. I said that was fine. On the same day my husband and I drove to the store that we purchased it at and wound up speaking to the same sales person that sold us the furniture his name was Pat and he was now the manager of the store he said he remembered selling me the furniture and then he remembered telling me that it was eventually going to peel and he said that he would honor the warranty. I followed the procedures that they wanted me to buy sending the pictures on September 23. I called and spoke to Pat again on September 24 to let him know that I sent everything he advised me to speak to a man named Ray who is in charge of all the warranties through the customer service department. After being advised that my warranty was not valid because they determined that the damage had been there for “years” so I had called back to speak to a man named Ray who Pat told me to call saying that he was such a nice guy and that he would help me, I told them that the damage was not there for years that I had just noticed it and the person did not believe me I spoke to Ann at customer service, she just kept insisting that the damage was there for “years” and when I asked to speak to Ray she put me on hold tried to get him on the phone and he literally told her to tell me that he did not want to speak to me at all that the claim was closed and he did not have time to talk to me. Worst customer service ever, and don’t expect them to ever honor a warranty. I spoke with several people in the claims department and each one was in a rush to tell me my warranty was not going to be honored as if reading from a script, seemed to be what they say to everyone. I will never shop there again. I left messages for Pat at the store and messages through the corporate office and no one has ever returned my calls. Update: after this review posted my warranty was honored

Alex was professional. knowledgeable and polite throughout the entire process. He wasn't pushy or aggressive which made me buy through him twice as fast. If you're looking to purchase furniture for your home, Alex is the man!

We have bought a ton of stuff at Ashley over the years. Dennis was our sales guy, made the process super easy. There is a huge selection there. You'll definitely find something regardless of what room of your house you are trying to furnish. They regularly run specials so the prices are always reasonable. Plus there is always interest free financing which just sweetens the deal. We have been buying stuff here since it opened and will continue to do so unless something changes.
I’ve purchased all my furniture here over the past few years and each time I come in I always have a good experience. Whichever sales representative I’ve worked with at the time has always been patient and helpful through mine and my boyfriend’s decision process. Yesterday we worked with Alex and he was great! We appreciated that he gave us time to browse the showroom ourselves (while still answering our questions) and not making us feel pressured. He helped us price everything out and even carried different chairs around the showroom so we could decide which we liked best with the dining room table we purchased. The delivery process has always been smooth too. Thank you Alex! We’re excited for our new furniture and will be back again!

She took me right to the sectional and told me about their promotion they were having. Didn’t pressure me, asked if I had any questioned and she would be not too far if we needed her. My roommate and I loved the couch! I would definitely recommend this store and Fran if you’re looking for furniture for any room.
I had a great experience shopping for a loveseat and couldn’t be happier with my purchase. Nicky was very knowledgeable and patient as I reclined in almost every chair repeatedly. This has everything I was looking for and they have great no-interest financing options.

Rich T. answered all of our questions and walked us through the checkout process to finalize our purchase. Went in just to browse and found a three piece sofa we loved and Mike helped us through everything with ease! Mike is a great sale person while so not making us feel pressured about buying. We also found a bar high top table we liked and bought it; however, the next day we found one we loved at the Ashley outlet in deptford and we called mike and asked him to help us. Bought a dresser , took off work , I never got my call about the delivery this is not the first time that this has happened. When I call to find out why I did not get a call they said they did not even have me down for a delivery date. Sales people are very pleasant and probably don&'t have much control over this but it&'s very annoying and it discourages me from buying more furniture
So....I’ve been asked to leave a review. I go to the store in deptford Nj and buy the mattress, which was definitely a quick process. As we were finishing up the sale I was informed that I was eligible for “next day delivery”although it was about 8:30 pm when we did this transaction. My thoughts..”that’s awesome!”. I was told..I’d get a phone call in the morning informing me of my 4hr window period in which they’d arrive. Now...the fun part lol. Next day: I’m at work(since it was a bit last minute I couldn’t get the day off however, my position gives me flexibility to leave and then come back to work if I need to). No phone call until around noon. They say they have my delivery,I say “cool, what’s my 4hr window?”. The delivery man says “no 4hrs, we’ll be there in 20 minutes or less”. I say “I’m at work and 30 minutes away,I can’t get there in 20 minutes, you guys were supposed to call with my 4hr window”. The delivery driver, seemingly nervous,says..” oh,umm,if you’re not home then you’ll have to reschedule”. Disappointed,but understandable,I say ok. After I hang up the phone I get a phone call, which I didn’t answer Because I placed my phone on the table while I went and grabbed my receipt, with the number on it, from my car. The person leaves a message and it is someone form the delivery company,a woman named Maria,saying that she “just noticed my delivery is on its way and will be there shortly, if you have any questions then call her at___________(the number she said to reach her at is my number,I still have the vmail,cuz I couldn’t believe it THAT much.). After that, a woman from the furniture store calls me and I tell her everything. She gives me instructions to call the store I got it from and talk to them, which I do. Was I disappointed and upset?..a bit. The woman I speak to from the store I got it from was seemingly putting the blame on me since I wasn’t home..then said they wouldn’t be able to deliver my mattress until the Sunday after the Wednesday of which all of this happened. At that moment, I voiced my dissatisfaction and said..”it was their fault because I never received the call giving me my 4hr window, had that call been made, I would’ve made sure I was home”. At that point I was placed on hold and upon their return,I was told I’d receive my mattress that Thursday and to call Thursday morning for my 4 hr window..since they don’t know until the day of delivery. Thursday 11/21/19: I can be at work anytime between 8 and 10. I chose to go in later Incase my mattress was early. I call at 9:33 from my Bluetooth as I was heading into work, phone goes to vmail cuz the store doesn’t open until 10. I call at 10 and after asking the woman about my 4hr window I’m told “there’s no delivery scheduled and says that it was for the previous day. At this point, I just laughed followed by a sigh and proceeded to tell her everything that happened prior to that day. She scheduled me for a Friday delivery and said she’d call me back in a few hours to make sure I received a call to confirm the appt..I said great and if I don’t,the. I’ll call you. As I was contemplating canceling my order and getting a refund..I FINALLY got a phone call asking you confirm my spot. I did..and now..I have my mattress, it’s wonderful..I love it..they need to work on their customer service but the mattress is fantastic. I know nowadays we’re all on the move so please pardon my short story. Take care

Came in looking for a sectional. Mark greeted us at the door and gave us our options as to location of different types of sectionals they had available. He gave us time to look around at our own leisure. Met back with us after a while to see if we found anything we liked and even helped us lay out options for rearranging to fit into our space. There was no pressure or nagging and he even gave recommendations for measurements to assure our couch would have the perfect fit! Highly satisfied with their pricing and service.
I purchased furniture from Ashley furniture in Turnersville NJ and they scheduled my delivery for a Sunday between 12pm -4pm. After waiting until 3:30 I called their delivery company and was told they are running behind and some other customers ahead of us had pieces that were damaged. (I was only told this after I called to check the status of my delivery)They said, they should be arriving soon. So, I waited again and around 4:45pm I called the delivery company back again and was transfered 3 times and had to explained what was going on and then was told my paid in full delivery is not coming and that I need to reschedule b/c the truck broke down. I asked when was I going to be notified b/c not once did they call me after waiting around ALL DAY. The rep said, someone should of called you and I just need to reschedule. I told them cancel my order they told me very nastily to call Ashley to cancel..Fyi- this a supervisor of the delivery company and NOT once did they apologize for my time lost or the inconvenience it caused. This was the most horrible experience. Unless you can pick your furniture yourself please think twice before using their delivery service!! AWFUL HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE NEVER AGAIN!! SO SAD B/C OF THEM I'M NEVER BUYING FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE EVER AGAIN!!!!!

Update: After a lengthy correspondence through the BBB, store owner followed through with the warranty claim. Was able to get a replacement. Thank you! WILL NEVER SHOP AT ASHLEY FURNITURE AGAIN! I have been a loyal Ashley customer for well over 9 years now...no longer! I purchased a complete bedroom set in 2016 and was forced to buy the 5 year worry free extended warranty because the purchase was financed. Last week, while trying to pick up the dresser to move it 1 foot away within the same bedroom, one of the legs completely ripped and broke off (because it's made with cheap particle board). I sent in pictures for the claim and they denied it saying that they do not cover moving damages.....REALLY? I didn't move residences, it was a foot over and they denied it. I will be contacting BBB about this and also filing a claim in small claims court against this store and also Value City. BUYER'S BEWARE - do not buy their poor quality furniture and especially do not pay for a useless extended warranty that they'll never honor!
No pressure sales. My salesperson, Dennis, told me where to look for what I wanted. He didn’t follow me around When I had a question he came over to answer and looked up items on the computer for me. The only problem I had was when I returned to purchase the item he was not there and had to share the sale with someone else.

I purchased my dining and bedroom sets from Ashley’s a year ago and was excited to make another purchase from them again! This time around it was the starmore bookcase. I was told that the bookcase I purchased would be assembled upon delivery, which was perfect since It would have to go up to my 2nd floor. Before leaving I even asked AGAIN about set up, knowing how my stairs are made. After coming back to Ashely’s the following night to ensure my measurements were correct, and calling to confirm my 4 hour window... I ended up with no bookcase!! Why? Because the bookcase came assembled from the warehouse. It couldn’t fit up the turn (the bookcase is 76” tall and 58” wide). The costumer care rep said that I didn’t indicate for their notes that I needed it assembled, however this contradicts the conversation I had with the sales rep (Ms. A.R) two nights prior. But what stairs in a townhouse would a bookcase that size fit appropriately up fully built anyway? What’s more frustrating is that my dining and bedroom sets were BOTH put together in my house!! The customer care rep hung uo the phone once I mentioned contacting the BBB. It’s a shame, because I actually like the company.

Shopped around for about an hour seen a few pieces I liked but they were on back order. Finally found a piece that I liked and was supposed to be delivered 7 days after my purchase. Well 6 days went by and I haven’t heard anything so I called the store to get some answers. They tell me it won’t be back in stock for over a month... didn’t call to let me know, didn’t apologize when I called. just took my $600+ and that was it. Since I paid cash I have to wait for a check. It’s now been over 3 weeks and I’ve called about 5 times to see we’re my money is. They give me the run around every time. Absolutely disrespectful to tie up $600 of someone’s hard earned money and still after 5 calls not even a simple apology. So I went to raymour where the salesperson wasn’t speeding around like the one at ashleys was. And we found a nicer piece that was delivered and set up 6 days after purchase. Go to raymour or bobs.

UPDATE: The store employees and management have been great throughout this situation. It took complaints to BBB in order to persuade the parent company to stand by their warranty. We were able to come to an agreement to resolve the faulty table. So I am happy with my shopping experience at the store and with the store personnel...but I advise if you purchase the warranty you will most likely have issues trying to put claim in. BUYER BEWARE - TERRIBLE QUALITY & WORTHLESS WARRANTY! I purchased a Dining Room set from the store in October, 2017. During this transaction, I was persuaded to purchase a 5 year WORRY FREE warranty. Recently I noticed the table top is warping in areas near the seams. I contacted Crest Furniture at the warranty number and explained the issue. Before even seeing pictures they advised me that this is not covered under the warranty. I then sent the requested pictures and they again contacted me to say this is not covered under the warranty. I spoke to the store manager as well, who said he agreed with me that this should be covered...but he too was unable to obtain warranty coverage. My 'WORRY FREE' warranty packet states that Wood furniture is covered for "Separation of Seams & Joints" as well as "Chipping, Cracking, WARPING, or Lifting of Veneers." My issue clearly falls into these categories as the wood has Chipped, Warped, & Lifted at the seams. I was even cut by a splinter when I ran my finger across the warped area while checking out the damage. Corporate states that this is 'bubbling' due to moisture (I believe their use of the term 'bubbling' is synonymous with the term 'warping'). I also find it outrageous that they now say that you cannot get the table wet. It is a dining room table where people eat and drink. Ashley Furniture clearly sells substandard products, and fraudulently sells worthless warranties to unsuspecting customers. This claim is backed on a recorded line where corporate employee Phil stated "you know where furniture is made these days,'' clearly indicating they are knowingly selling substandard furniture. I was defrauded by this company who took my money for worthless furniture and a worthless warranty.

I wish i could give this less than 1 star. We wont be shopping there again. We purchased outside furniture (our very first purchase at an ashley), and purchased the insurance plan. Unfortunately, after a couple of weeks with the furniture, there was a bad storm, and out table was damaged beyond repair. The insurance plan specifically covers wind damage... but good luck trying to get a claim filled. Ashley claims they dont get involved, and the insurance company kept pushing us back to Ashley. After weeks of trying to get this resolved (by weeks i mean months...and the requirement of us to keep pushing), the insurance company said we needed to work with the store to get a replacement, after no replies, we went in person to the store and they said they didnt have it despite it being on their website... their reason was because Ashley is like a "chik-fil-et" where they are independent stores... i explained that chick-fil-et doesn't sell thousands of dollar furniture... we finally got the table replaced, but that experience was enough to say never again...... oh, and the icing on the cake... when they delivered the new furniture, they broke my patio umbrella stand. The delivery guy responded to this with just a shrug of his shoulders... required me chasing them down to refund me (which they did).

I went round and round with the Salesperson about delivery and was told he emailed the corporate office and spoke to his operations manager about accommodating my late afternoon delivery.Stupidly trusting them at their word, I paid for the chair online thru a Value City webpay. They took my $$$ and now they cannot accommodate my request. No one will be home to accept the delivery at the time they are giving me and now they told me that I am not entitled to a refund once they attempt delivery. The manager, Manny, basically called his own salesperson a liar when I told him I had a text from the salesperson outlining the arrangement. He told me the salesperson never spoke to a manager. He refuses to refund my money and told me I had to come in. Funny that they took the payment over the phone without an issue but now that I want to cancel the order, they need me there. I also learned thru another review here that they will only issue a store credit. I was not told that and there is nothing on the receipt stating that. Now I am going to fly in on Monday instead of Wednesday get my money back.
The furniture I ordered arrived damaged twice. And the delivery people don't seem to care. When bringing your issue to the showroom they pass the buck to distribution because the showroom only handles sales (ie. The already have your money). As I customer I shouldn't have to differentiate between sales and distribution. I should have the ability to bring up my issue with someone in person and not have to spend my time following up for an issue I did not cause and already spent money on. Patients is one of the things I value in customer service because one need to explore the best and all options to the one that’s is a suitable fit for the condition. “Speaking for the moment”.

I recommend you stay clear from this store, and this company. The employees lie just to get a quick buck out of you. When we purchased our kitchen table 4 years ago we were told we would recieve a visa gift card if we did not use the warranty. That was a lie. We bought our couch their and were told everything is covered under warranty. Not even 6 months after having it, the couch starts to fray. We call and they send someone out to fix it. After they leave we found a spot they missed so we reached out again. They said we would get a call back but never did. We called again and the women told us that, that isnt covered under warranty. 1. Why would you not say that when you had someone come out before? B. Why were we told warranty covers everything? Shoppers, save your time, energy, and money on a company who actually cares, and will be honest with you

We have furnished multiple rooms in house with Ashley furniture & are extremely happy. The quality is excellent & the prices are great! We went in today to purchase a double bed mattress & box spring from our son. The salesman Mark greeted us politely, asked what we were shopping for & showed us some product. The purchase was quick & easy. We maybe spent 30 min from the time we walked in to we left. Our place to good for all our furniture needs.
Sales people were nice. Couch was nice. Back end (delivery, customer service) has been awful. I'd like to be done with the company and return my furniture, but they only offer store credit. Be careful when purchasing. Once they have your money, they could care less about you.
Needed a sleeper sofa and the space was limited (82.5 inches). Alexander was knowledgeable and helped us find exactly what we were looking for. Quick and easy process, the item is in stock and will be delivered in 2 days. We are very pleased 😀👍

2 stars because this is second time in 1 month our furniture has taken longer than we were told to come in. Both times they said it would be in on a specific day the piece of furniture would arrive at the their warehouse and that they would call that day to schedule delivery. The first time we called 2 days after not hearing from them and they said it wasn’t in yet. Then when they called to schedule a delivery date they said they would call the night before to give us a 4 hour window. We never received that call. On the delivery day we got a call saying they were 30 minutes away. Luckily we were home but this was very inconvenient. We gave them one more chance, now it’s 5 days past the day we were told it would arrive to the warehouse and it’s still not in and we are unable to schedule delivery. We just bought a house and still need more furniture. Ashley will not get our business again strictly because waiting and not knowing is a major inconvenience. What is the point of saying a specific day it will be in the warehouse if it won’t actually be there??? Update: just found my dresser won’t be in until next Monday. 11 days after the day we were told it would be in. 17 days from the day it was purchased. 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
DON&'T JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVERIm looking for furniture for an apartment and walked in the store with shorts and a baggy t-shirt and a messy bun, after getting changed from a long day at work. After I was told by the man at the door to let him know if I needed anything, No one in the whole store offered to help me, even if I found everything alright, and they just walked right passed me with no eye contact. I was asking about a couch and they didn&'t even walk with me or to it when I had a question about a sale price. They really just made me feel like I did not belong in the store. I could&'ve paid for that couch in cash there and then... but their loss...

The salesman, Rich, in the Turnersville Store was everything a salesperson who is a natural should be. I sold furniture for many years, mostly higher end, but mid road like most of Ashley sells as well. Rich knew his stuff . I was sorta testing his knowledge on frames, spring systems etc in upholstered and saw if he would like and say "SOLID WOOD' Regarding case goods. He did not lie. He respected that I knew my stuff and treated me respectfully, but in a comfy fashion as well. You Ashley should feel lucky to have him as he could make money in commissioned sales anywhere. One thing though, a saleswoman named Alma, I think, laughed in my friends face as he walked by. He is an Interesting stylish older gentleman who informed me of what she did. It's a good thing for all involved its not 20 yrs ago. As I wanted to get in so.e very loud choice words in her ugly face and heart. Also, Leslie who was helpful on the phone. Last but by no means least, KUDOS to Rigoberto Franco and Raimondo as the last face to face contact with Ashley, they represented Ashley with class and hard work and were careful not to damage. Liked those two young men and tipped them with a 20 for a sofa , 2 accent chairs a rug . Other pieces were not on yet. So overall, 9 out of 10 would a been a 10 if Alma I think didnt disrespect us and save the fact that I dont think I would like jail, I controlled myself. I called to tell but someone pretended to be the manager and He did a poor job of it as I was to receive a call from a higher up, never did. Thanks Rich, Franco and Raimondo and Leslie and Jeannie. Our sales rep Kelly M was great, knew exactly where everything we were looking for was located. She helped me find the exact couch I had searched online and made sure that I was getting the best price for it. She even went so far as to give me tips on how to keep the sofa clean because we both have short-hair dogs. I always get my furniture from this Ashley Home Store and I haven’t been disappointed yet. Great place to get a great deal on good quality furniture.

My wife and I purchased a bed over a year ago and it has fallen through 3 times (I weigh 170 pounds and my wife 120) - We've had to sleep on the floor for over a month total. Customer service has been rude, unhelpful and will not return my calls. They stated "I should be thankful they are repairing the bed at no charge." Very disappointed - We've purchased a lot of furniture from Ashley and we will NOT be back!

THIS PLACE IS A SCAM. The employees are all friendly but completely unresponsive or uncaring when it comes to being dissatisfied with service. For 3 weeks I would get 2 calls per week telling me my items would be delivered at the end of the week. Then they wouldn&'t show and I&'d call and they&'d tell me &"oh they&'re coming next week.&" REALLY?? They take your money, expect you to pay interest on it, and don&'t deliver. I canceled my order and no one cared that I was strung along for almost a MONTH.

BUY YOUR FURNITURE HERE- YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED. We had the pleasure of working with Dylan, and he was A++++ from start to finish. Delivery was so quick, on time,and efficient. Dylan made sure everything was perfect, and even called us to provide updates. We had all of our furniture (king tempurpedic bed, sectional couch, pull out couch and chair w/ ottoman) selected, ordered & delivered within 6 days. Can't say enough positive things about our experience with the Deptford Ashley Furniture Store. Top notch service from start to finish, which is rare in today's world!
This was by far my worst experience at any furniture store. Ever. Actually, it’s my worst consumer experience ever. The prices in store were marked up excessively to make sale prices seem great. Regular prices at Ashley’s online page were less than these “awesome” sale prices. When confronted with proof of this, the manager was rude and wanted to debate the difference between the online store and independently owned stores. I understand there is a difference, but when sale prices are still over $100-$300 different, something is wrong. The manager and salesman were shady, deceitful and downright rude. Shopper beware- buy elsewhere!
Horrible experience with salesman Rich. Really surprised too as he came recommended. I was a cash buyer and purchased a $2,000 sectional with table within 20 minutes of his time.I was sent the wrong sectional (the wrong direction) and when requested they swap it out, was told by Rich I had to absorb the $95 delivery charge. When I said no way, he got very loud exclaiming he’s been in the bisiness 25 years and hung up on me. His manager Manny was not much better and was completely insensitive to my plight saying I signed off on it that way. When I asked to see the diagram I signed they said they emailed it, but I never got it. Never buying anything there again. Horrible customer service and greedy salespeople mentality. If you buy they’re very very nice but if you have a problem or a return, BEWARE!!!
Excellent salesperson, we went back to see her the second day because she was so good and made an impression on us. I wasn't feeling well so I had to leave oh, I visited the Ashley website to see if I could find her profile but you don't have the profiles of the employees there. So we went back on Sunday and we bought a beautiful sofa and loveseat
I prefer to shop at Ashley Furniture because I always get great customer service, ( no bs ), great quality products and always get my merchandise when they state I'll receive it. I've never been let down shopping here.

I had a great experience at Ashley. I had never shopped here before, and found there was a great assortment of furniture - lots to choose from! I really loved my salesman, he really tried to help me to find the right furniture and stay within my budget. He was very patient and really had a warm, friendly personality. That’s important to me. I really dislike pushy salespeople that don’t care about you or what you need.

Went to Ashley because my mom saw a dining set she like online. It was one of their products. Called the local store for us and spoke with Rich L(I hope I got that right). He went over everything with us and answered all of our questions. Went in the next time he was working to look at it in person(I am a sensory shopper) and finish the process. The atmosphere in the store was very friendly not like some other furniture stores where they seem like don't care that you're there. Thank you Ashley for not making furniture buying a chore!

My husband and I stopped in Ashley furniture on a Saturday night looking for living room furniture. We were greeted as we walked in and approached by a salesman named Richard Ludwick. He was so friendly and helpful. We had somewhere to go so we found out his hours and went back the next day. Richard was so helpful and friendly. We were indecisive about what we wanted. We then decided to get a bedroom set as well as a living room set. We are so excited and can’t wait for our new beautiful furniture sets!
Richard L was my sales rep. I so happen to call early in the week to check and see if my item was in stock. He helped me over the phone told me when I come in just ask for him and he will get me what I need. From the second we came across each other, Richard gave great energy. He has great customer service and is a great asset to the company. I would like to tell Richard that I am grateful for his service and keep up the good work.

From start to finish this transaction was just awful. I was blatenly lied to by the saleswoman about WHEN my couch would be in stock and when my couch was finally delivered it was damaged! The saleswoman continually called me while I was at work even when I told her I was in a meeting. My couch is beautiful and the warehouse is sending out a replacement part for the damaged area-so they fet 2 stars instead of 1. The warehouse gave me a whopping $100 credit (on an almost $2000 purchase)...I will NOT be a repeat customer.
Our sales rep Mike in Turnersville was awesome! We showed up at 8pm, an hour before they closed, and Mike helped us find what we wanted and check out very efficiently. It was clear he was a professional and was very quick navigating their inventory system which seemed complicated. Delivery dates were moved up to fit our quick move in schedule which we loved!

The purchase of the bedroom set went smooth. The furniture arrived faster than my salesman expected. After that it went down hill. Furniture arrived in the time window but was missing a few prices needed for my bed frame. The gentleman on site called for service and the lady on the line was rude and didn't have a care in the world that me and my pregnant wife weren't going to have anywhere to sleep that night. I made multiple phone calls and they finally agreed to bringing me the missing pieces the next day. Acting like they're doing me favor by coming the next day. Then received a call saying they couldn't come the next day. I tried calling my salesman.....no response till this day. I had to get upset and threaten to return my product before they would agree to coming out the next day. Would not buy from Ashleys again!
By far the worst place to shop for furniture! Have been waiting for over a month for a couch and table that we spent over $1600. The table was set to be delivered tomorrow. Got a call today and they said the table was damaged. The couch was not coming in for another couple of weeks so we had to go all the way back full refund for that. Now we have to go all the way back and get a refund for the table. Offered us nothing for this horrible experience. We placed our order on Feb 6 with the estimated delievry of Feb 17 and now it is March 11 with no couch and table from this place. Don’t waste your time!
Stopped in Ashley looking for a living room set. We had been to over 10 different furniture stores in the last few weeks and could not find anything that was comfortable for me that my wife also liked the style. Our salesman Bob greeted us told us the store layout and about a 10% off sale with free delivery and then left us to look around on our own without following us around, which we appreciated. When we found something we both liked Bob was right there and checked to make sure it was in stock. It was and he scheduled our delivery for this coming Saturday. One quick note the delivery was still free even though they are delivering to our shore place in Wildwood a nice bonus Another furniture store said they had free delivery when we purchased our bedroom set and then charged a surcharge to deliver to the shore. So far we have had a great experience. We especially enjoyed working with Bob. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. We are hoping that our delivery goes smooth on Saturday. By the way the prices are also fair at Ashley they did not seem to have higher prices to cover the free delivery special.

I really enjoyed shopping at Ashley's in Turnersville, NJ. Sean the Rep was beyond informative and helpful. I had went to the Ashley's in CherryHill, NJ and they were cold and rude. So when I decided to try another Ashley's I was skeptical. Walking in they were warm and inviting, yet didn't hound me. Even when I left to check out another store I was set on Ashley's because great customer service is more important when I'm giving my money towards a sale as well as the quality of furniture. I would recommend Turnersville NJ Ashley's to everyone because they value their customer from beginning to end!

I'm shocked at how easy my experience was. I had been to 2 other furniture stores today, with Ashley HomeStore being the last. I walked in and avoided Mark, who was very nice, but I assumed would be super pushy because let's be real, furniture stores can be aggressive. I am not ashamed to admit I was so wrong. Mark introduced himself the best way he could as I was clearly walking away. He settled on just getting my first name and letting me wander the store. I got about halfway through when I had some serious questions but was too proud to ask. Luckily, Mark was heading my way to check on me. Long story short, he showed me the couch and ottoman that I ended up purchasing, gave me options on configuration, walked me through some rugs, and then showed me a mattress that I also needed. Mark made my shopping experience painless and easy- plus the sale and the 0% financing was pretty cool too. I'll be back- and I recommend that anyone else shopping for furniture do the same. Too often do we focus on the negative and not compliment the job well done. In this case, it was a job that exceeded my expectations. Looking forward to getting my new furniture and to shopping for more in the future.

I came in today ready to purchase a couch for our bedroom, a dresser for my kids room and a curio cabinet. I found an item on clearance and the sales lady was insistent on that I could not use my Ashley Furniture card and she called someone back a manager I believe to tell me that I could not use my card. Mean while I have spent close to $10,000 at Ashley Furniture in The Last 5 Years. The manager told me that I could use my card and they gave me a good deal. She was also insisted upon how much money was remaining on my Ashley Furniture card as revolving credit. All I wanted to do was to go in and make three purchases and leave out and the ordeal just turn me away. I walked out with the items because it was what I really wanted. I have not had the best sales people at this location but I have had excellent sales people at the Cherry Hill location. I only go to the store to go in and purchase an item and get out. The last time I went into the store to purchase an item they delivered the wrong item to my house and told me that it was the correct item I had to literally how the item back to the store to prove to them with the item number that they had delivered the wrong product. The manager on duty was excellent but the sales person was not good.
I’m a return costumer to this Ashley store. The people are always friendly and outgoing. Tom Mitchell was our salesman and he was treated us wonderfully. Very helpful and tentative to our furniture needs.

The quality here is so hit or miss. Friendly sales ladies. Review is closer to a 3.5, just because the furniture you buy is either good quality, or junk. No In between.
