In a recent trip to Ashley’s me and my wife were looking for a new mattress and we really had no idea of what to look for in a mattress. All we knew is that we wanted something comfortable and affordable. Nevertheless, we were assisted by an associate by the name of Dion. Dion, thoroughly took the time to walk us through what to look for in a mattress. He was kind, professional, and very knowledgeable on this particular subject matter. His expertise really helped point us into the right direction and we really had a pleasant experience.

Furniture looks great! …but is low quality, and to get it delivered was a complete fiasco. I had my furniture delivered over 2 years ago, and recall the fiasco to get it delivered to my new home. I went days without a bed, because the promised delivery date and time was not met on Ashley’s end. In addition, take the warranty! This furniture is low quality. My bed has squeaked from day 1. Today I dissembled the bed to do home renovations. Upon disassembling the bed I noticed that on the bed board, where the side rail is inserted, the would is damaged very badly and needs repair. Hence explaining the squeaking. This was pre-existing damage, but more likely occurred after assembly as the delivery men or man slid the bed to meet the wall. Had one man been on each side and slid the bed together this may have not occurred. I can not think of any other reasonable explanation. Furthermore, I shopped at another Ashley that claimed to be having a “BIG SALE”, only to find out that the this Burlington store was offering the same price without a sale. The whole “sale” thing is factious. I will now be repairing my furniture in addition to working on my home.

spent $2,900 on a sectional and another $500 on a 5-year warranty from Ashley Furniture. After just over one year, the particle board frame on one section broke. This is a major structural issue, not cosmetic. Ashley refuses to fix it, even though it’s supposedly covered under warranty. What’s the point of paying for a warranty if they won’t stand behind their product? Cheap materials, overpriced furniture, and a warranty that doesn’t actually protect the customer. I won’t be buying from Ashley again.

My husband and I came in to browse couches and Abraham was great to talk to and informative. We came back when we were ready to purchase, when Abbigail told us everything we needed to know as we were finalizing our decision. Abraham was there again as well for anything we needed. There was always someone nearby for any questions or information to give. We were able to use our coupon for signing up for A-list texts and we enjoyed their pricing already as other places we shopped at didn’t have as much to choose from nor sales. We will be back for any future home furnishings when the time comes.

We went in to get living room furniture. And Deon was so wonderful we explained what we were looking for and what we needed and found the perfect fit. Not only did we buy furniture but seeing my husband with his handicap Deon set us up with a mattress that fits all his needs. The mattress arrived yesterday and my husband said he actually slept better. I also had a restful night's sleep. Thank you Deon for all your expertise!!!

I love the furniture I purchased here and the staff, Jared specifically was wonderful. 5 stars on the quality of the items and in store service. 0-1 stars for the wait/delivery process. However, I was told my furniture (it was simply a couch and two stools) would be in within 2 weeks. I just moved here and had no furniture so I was clear I needed something to be delivered quickly. I kept seeing the delivery date change in the online system every few days, then I called twice about the product, and was continually told it was on its way but must’ve shown up broken and that’s why it kept getting pushed out. No one was notifying me that there was a delay, anything was broken, etc. the stools sat at their warehouse for over a month while they waited for my couch. I finally called and said I want my money back to order a new couch if it was just not coming in and to deliver my stools. It took a month and a half before I got my furniture from purchase date. Had I known it would have taken so long I’d have gone to Jaron’s where they deliver as promised. Also, I didn’t realize they give you a crazy must deliver by date (3 months after purchase) until I wanted to get refunded to go elsewhere. The products are AMAZING and I am so happy with them, but the delivery process was TERRIBLE and the customer service when I’d call for information was rude. I was treated like I didn’t know what I was talking about and that they couldn’t help me. Once they actually delivered the furniture the delivery team was awesome, so helpful, and kind.

Ashley team showed the power of hospitality, caring and knowledge of the business. The store manager; Janice, the sale person; Abraham and the front staff; Abigail and those at the front desk financial team made our shopping a success. These staff members were so present, willing to listen and answer questions as they come either in humor form or actual questions. My wife and I felt like being part of the business. Save yourself the time and headache. I don't typically write a bad review, but customers need to know. I was approved for a 12-month 0% interest promotion IN-STORE, yet just two months in I started getting hit with fees and interest charges. If Ashley offered me this and promotes this offer on their website, they should stand by it. Instead, they pass customers around, telling you to “call another number,” with no accountability. After multiple calls and dead ends, it’s clear Ashley’s customer service and store support don’t care about resolving issues or honoring their promises. There are plenty of other furniture stores that actually value their customers—do yourself a favor and shop there instead.

Dion the sleep coach is the best! He clearly explained why this mattress was the right choice for us, and he was absolutely right. Ever since we bought it, we’ve been sleeping so much better and I no longer wake up with back pain like I used to. The mattress is extremely comfortable, and we’re very happy with our purchase. went in to order a bed for our toddler waited 3 weeks for delivery just for the delivery men to leave us with a half put together bed apparently missing hardware but they told us was “ still able to use “ before leaving.I went through the process to order the missing hardware had to submit pictures and sit on the phone for hours, to be told the hardware would arrive in 1-2 weeks .. it’s been over 3 i call for an update they now tell me it’s going to be over a month before we have the hardware then we have to wait for another appointment for someone to come out and put in the hardware.. So for 3 months my toddler is supposed to sleep in a half put together bed that this store and their delivery crew thought was okay to leave here and “ still able to use “. Everyone you speak to no matter the department gets an attitude like we shouldn’t be upset about this and tells us there’s nothing else they can do for us. Absolutely will never buy from another Ashley Furniture ever again

Absolutely horrible customer service from this store. They don’t know anything about who is responsible for certain parts of a warranty process. A headache every time I have tried to call them. They sell you on a deal for warranty damages and stains then they send out a cheap cleaning company and lie about there being no stain when there clearly is. None of these clowns know how to do their job, and they definitely don’t care to help the people they’ve scammed.

Do not shop here. They make promises to push a sale. We were told by the general manager we had 72 hours to return a mattress if we didn’t like it. The mattress came completely different quality then we bought and they refuse to help us. They bully their customers and have no disregard.

This may be my 1st negative review. I don't typically write a bad review, but customers need to know. WARNING...do not shop from Ashley. They do not honor their warranty or products. I bought a sectional less than a year ago and already have issues with both ends. The chase is sunken in and you need to be pulled or roll out to get up. The end recliner has no cushion when you open it and put your legs on it. I called to report the problem and they told me its normal wear and tear and since I have had it for almost a year theres nothing they can do. They tried to send me a frame for the chase, but said if the frame is not broke then my issue is again normal wear and tear.The extended warranty is only for spills, who knew. Unless you have money to waste find another retailer. You will be better served shopping at a yard sale than at Ashleys Furniture. Total junk!!

Awesome! Is how we would describe the sales associate experience given to us today by Dion. After we searched throughout the store looking at the bedroom furniture that we were interested in purchasing, he had us sample the comfortability of the mattresses. He explained the scientific reasoning why mattresses offer comfort for various body parts. My husband had a knee issue and he elevated the foot of the mattress to show how sleeping in this position may relief his pain and give him a more enjoyable night's sleep.

I won't be going back. I was promised a 2.5 week delivery at the time of purchase. I called after 2 weeks for an update and was told two more weeks. I called after another week for an update and was told 3 more weeks. A manager (NOT David- thank you for your help, sorry I do not have your name) found the missing pieces from my order and David called to schedule my delivery for today. I was told I would receive a call yesterday to choose a 4 hour delivery window. I did not receive a call so I called the store at 9am (when their automated message suggested customer service hours began), no one answered. I called every 15 minutes until David finally answered at 10am and told me I scheduled the delivery for next Wednesday, which was not the case since I can not be out of the office that day and it's my birthday, I would have remembered that date! He also mentioned he had no record of me calling prior to 10am. He stated he was there, available in the store. He gave me the number to the "Corporate Office" to try to move up the delivery HE improperly scheduled, choosing not to own his mistake. They could not move up my delivery said I should have contacted the store I purchased from.... I put my old couch out by the curb last night.....to cancel my order I will have to go into the store which should be a real treat. HAD David just said, 'oh my goodness! My error, I am sorry I was not clear, let me see what I can do' I would not be canceling. However, the level of customer service is appalling.

Great customer service. Alexis greeted us at the door, asked what we were looking for, told us where to find it, and gave us space to look around. She popped in every now and then to answer questions and continued to give us space instead of being overbearing. EDIT: this Ashley is a joke. Would give 0 stars if I could. Do NOT shop here. They took my money over 4 months ago and just keep pushing back the delivery date. I have yet to receive half of my pieces and the ones that were delivered were all damaged. The staff at the store don’t care and customer service is no help. This is completely unacceptable. Buyer beware!

I went to the Burlington, NJ store off of 541 with my mom because she wanted to order a new dining room table. As soon as we walked in, Tynaria greeted us. I don’t write reviews often, but I am today because Tynaria was ABSOLUTELY incredible. She was super friendly and very personable (and a fellow Gemini). Furniture shopping can be tedious, but she made the experience so wonderful for me and my mom. But there’s a catch … she admitted it was only her SECOND DAY working there. I was blown away. You’d think she’d been there for months or years! She’s knowledgable and honest and doesn’t try to force sales, but I will say she almost convinced me to buy a $2k bed set. That’s how effective she is. We didn’t feel uncomfortable or as if only the sale matters. She is just wonderful. I also want to spotlight Maureen. I don’t know if she’s the store manager, but since it was Tynaria’s second day, she ran and got Maureen to help punch sale numbers for us and I saw how sweet, helpful and respectful she was to Tynaria. The entire experience shows me how great this location is, and how solid the dynamic is amongst workers. My mom and I plan to come back now. We used to show at Macy’s/Home Goods/Wayfair/IKEA for furniture, but this experience is worth coming back for, and also worth the money! Many thanks!!!

Gave misinformation about billing, sales reps pretty pushy and promise things they can’t deliver on. Miscommunicated about estimated delivery, didn’t receive updates. Tried giving them the benefit of the doubt post covid but this is now our second less than satisfactory experience with Ashley furniture.

This store gave me the worst customer service I have ever dealt with in my life. Ashley in Burlington Township, NJ had a delivery of furniture promised for Thursday, Jan. 25. On Wednesday, Jan. 24, I get a confirmation for my delivery the following day. But it was going to be delivered to my billing address in NJ, rather than my new Philly address. I was on the phone all day trying to rectify the situation. None of the customer service reps were any help and it took until about 3pm for them to tell me that I needed to correct my Sychrony credit card info to match my updated address. This was never communicated to me during the purchasing process despite me telling the salesperson several times that I am moving and have a new delivery address. The folks at Ashley also tried blaming it on Synchrony, claiming that this was new information to them. But when I called up Synchrony to update my address, they said this should not have affected my delivery whatsoever. I was willing to be flexible with Ashley and try to coordinate a delivery for the following day but they told me my furniture would not be delivered until Wednesday, Jan. 31, six days after they were supposed to arrive. The salesperson, to her credit, penciled in that date just to make sure something was in the books but said she was going to follow up with the distribution center to see about it getting delivered even earlier. That did not come to fruition. I am now moving into an apartment this weekend. An apartment where I was planning to have a few guests over this weekend. All I have for them to sit on now is a queen size bed and a desk chair. I am highly disappointed in how this whole situation shook out and I don’t believe I can trust Ashley to meet my furniture needs in the future.

We will be be back for more furniture. **UPDATE** I knew i should have waited to do this review until the furniture was delivered. We were told the delivery was set up for Saturday, and we would get a call Friday to give us a time frame. 730 pm Friday came and with no call, i called the store. I spoke with Rich, who said the delivery was set for Tuesday. I disagreed, and he asked who told me Saturday. I was not sure. Rich said he would try and get it switched to Saturday, but could not promise. I told him we just got rid of my Mother-In-Law's bed, now she has nothing to sleep on. Maybe this store is too new to understand delivery schedules. They need to realize people make plans on what they are told. If you need furniture, i would try another Ashley store. As for my Mother-In-Law, Saturday, tonight, and tomorrow night she will be on a couch. Still awaiting a phone call. Thanks Rich, thanks Ashley. **UPDATE** Delivery was now rescheduled for today (11/14/2023) between 3 - 7 pm. Here it is 7:40 pm, and still no mattress. The number they were told to call, was never called. I would definitely think twice about dealing with this store. NO communication with the customer.

Service was great, Ms. Wendy was fantastic. Gave us space but was quickly available when needed.

I had such a great experience at the Ashley Burlington store branch. I entered for a mattress and platform, and left with a comfortable mattress and knowledge on current options. If you enter and see Abraham- insist he's your sales consultant. He is thorough, knowledgeable and attentive to the desires you came in for. He also goes out of his way to ask for a discount. The store manager also is funny and educational. If you're looking for bedding or home furniture, please be sure to stop in.

I will never be buying any furniture from here! The staff is so not reliable. Themselves they don’t know the store/ return policies. I had a very bad experience where they made be go back and forth to the warehouse and to the store. Calling customer care and not getting any straight response from them. The entire staff needs training on customer service. Very disappointed with the store members/Ashley furniture store.
