We just moved from California to New Jersey and we needed a bedroom set. From the moment we walked into Ashley we were greeted with friendliness. Abraham really took care of us and was very knowledgeable. Not only was he friendly and professional but took care of all our needs. Needless to say we were impressed! I highly recommend asking for Abraham if you plan to visit the Ashley store!

Bought a double chaise couch, and it's great. I'm giving Ashley furniture a low review because the purchase/delivery process was a mess and took six weeks: 1. The sales rep that entered my purchase order input the wrong parts, so I had to reject the first delivery attempt that took 2 weeks to arrive. 2. After waiting 48 hours for the pieces to get back to the warehouse, I got a new delivery estimate that was nearly 3 weeks later. I was told by one of the floor reps there was nothing they could do. One of their coworkers at the front desk said "Well this is happening because you CHANGED your order", which I never did. It was input incorrectly the day I bought it. 3. They went ahead and pre-scheduled a delivery date 1 week AFTER the correct pieces got to their warehouse, promising me that they were only scheduling it so much later because it would give them the ability to move the delivery date UP once they got the parts. Turns out they couldn't. They said they'd give it a hail mary to move up the delivery date and call me with the confirmation...and never called. I had to follow up with them to confirm the date couldn't get moved up. I worked in customer service for 5 years, I totally get it: there are things beyond the sales rep's control, and they have to be the bearer of bad news all the time. What irritated me about the whole process is almost every single person working at Ashley Furniture couldn't be bothered to even PRETEND to care. I know they're probably not paid enough to care, but at least humor me. An interim furniture rental or discount or gift card to make up for my time would have been a kind gesture, but I didn't even need THAT. I just wanted someone to actually put forth a modicum of effort in fixing the situation. I love my couch from Ashley, but a six week timeline after a full upfront purchase is just unacceptable. This company will not have my business again.
