Ashley Store Cherry Hill, NJ

Cherry Hill Store was fantastic, especially Sam Davis! He respected that I asked for space so I could look on my own> He did not crowd me, or follow me like a dog on a bone, as so often occurs in furniture stores. I did seek him out and that fast he directed me to what I was looking for. In and out of store in about 20 minutes, purchase completed. So happy!!!

I’m disappointed with how this company connects with and retains returning customers. Every time I order online, I run into the same issue where my address is not accepted. The first two times this happened, customer care was able to help resolve it. Unfortunately, this most recent experience has been very different. I’ve had to speak with multiple representatives, repeat myself several times, and jump through unnecessary hoops. It has now been two weeks, and the issue is still not resolved. The process has been frustrating and time-consuming, especially for a returning customer. At this point, it feels like my business isn’t valued, which is disappointing and not the experience I expect from a company I want to continue supporting.

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience purchasing an Ashley couch. Customers should beware that if you have the couch delivered to your home, you cannot return it. This was not made clear upfront, and it has caused a lot of frustration. Two weeks ago, I spoke with an Ashley representative who told me they would help me with returning the couch and that I would hear back within 48 hours. It has now been two weeks, and I still haven’t heard anything from them. Customer service has been terrible and not helpful overall. I’ve been told a lot of mixed and inconsistent information, which only made the situation more confusing. I’ve been on the phone with them twice now, and no one has been able to help or provide a solution. I will try reaching out again because this couch does not fit in my home at all, but this whole process has been exhausting. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I don’t see myself purchasing from Ashley again.

I bought a sofa and paid extra for the protection plan. A repair tech came out in September and said parts needed to be ordered. It is now mid-December, and nothing has been fixed despite repeated calls and follow-ups. Instead of repairing or replacing the sofa, Ashley tried to refund the insurance, claiming the sofa is no longer made. That is unacceptable. I did not pay for insurance to be ignored after months of delays. I have also been waiting over three weeks for a manager to contact me, and no one has bothered to follow up. Poor communication, zero accountability, and no resolution. I would not recommend Ashley Furniture.

For mattress shopping, their selection was great and Vicky was a wonder to work with. Setting up the purchase and delivery was very simple. My only complaint was that when we asked if our mattress was an actual mattress or one that arrived in a roll and needed time to set, we were told it was a full mattress but it arrived in a roll and needed 24-72 hours to set come to shape. Luckily we had an earlier delivery so it came up a lot the first day but it took all 72 hours to get a comfortable nights sleep. Wouldve been nice to know ahead so that we could've kept our old mattress while it set.

Moulay was a very knowledgeable salesman and a pleasure to work with. He explained everything in a frank manner. We returned to Ashley to update our living room and dining room furniture. Excellent quality merchandise

Our sales woman was very courteous friendly and new her product. There was a sale going on which helped a bit. . I felt the delivery cost was high .

I love the items we purchased and had an EXCEPTIONAL experience with our salesperson Angel. His approach is helpful and patient, we never felt pressured. I would come back to Ashley just so he could be the salesperson. Thanks Angel!

Barb was insufferable. She pestered us during our whole visit, asking incessantly if we were ready to buy a couch that we were looking at. We explained to her, per her request, that we were torn between one of their floor model sofas and one we had seen at IKEA. She then said we should just by the IKEA one. Wouldn’t recommend this location, and if you do have to go; Do NOT talk to Barb.

My husband and I just moved to Delaware to furnish our new home we just bought. I had seen a bedroom set online that I liked. No other store in Delaware had it in person on their show room floor to see except this location closest to us. We drove 1 hour last night to look at it. We liked it and decided to purchase it. Mo was super helpful and kind to us during this process. This store is huge and has a lot of inventory. We are very happy with the in store service, so I hope the delivery and setup service is just as good when we get everything next month.

This is the second time my family has used him and he is THE BEST! I will always send referrals his way because of his excellent customer service.

Ive been with ashely for so many years for all my furniture and this by far has been the worst experience ever, i ordered a modern dining room table set and it came dirty, scratched up and furniture was chipped off, i sent the back and demanded for a replacement. 1 week later “new” furniture came in and i wanted to flip because why were these worse then the first ones, and the delivery people were so rude and being rough with the furniture and one guy hit my plant and almost broke the pot ,Its so unbelievable i ordered this piece on time and expected them to be perfect for thanksgiving for my family. NEVER EVER will i order from Ashely's again very disappointing

I have a great time picking up my new furniture. The sales person (Vicky) introduced herself, told me about the discount, pointed to the clearance section and give me the freedom to see everything in the store. Help me to move some pieces around to be sure that I can see my vision in the store.

I had a wonderful experience. I ended up with Angle as my salesman he was amazing and really went out of his way to find what I was looking for. I bought 4 pub size bar stools am still shopping for a living room set. Angle helped me measure sizes of sets , printed them out so I can decide which will work best . I will be back this weekend to place my order with him…

Probably one of the worst run businesses I've ever encountered. The sales people in the store are pleasant and knowledgeable, but outside of that, the customer service is worthless. The in-store warranty is a scam. Do not buy it. They'll tell you it covers a bunch of things but then when you try to make a claim, you cant get ahold of anyone for weeks. When you ask for their replies in writing so you have proof of what they're lying about, they tell you they can't send emails??? (After youve already emailed with them). Not worth the headache, shop elsewhere.

I had a horrible experience with Ashley's. The manager is very unprofessional and customer service needs to be addressed. I ordered a box spring, it took three deliveries for them to get it right. However, when we received it was damaged. When we tried to address it the manager had so many different versions of how to make it right. But never made it right and after a week of him not reaching out ; I called the store and still was not able to speak to him. They were happy to take our money but when things went wrong he dropped the ball. Ashley's need to understand without customers you would not be employed. Appreciate you're customers and make it right please and thank you

My experience at this store has been a nightmare. The salesman was excellent but the delivery and the prices and the management ain't been nothing but a big mix-up and every time I turn around and ask them to fix the problem...Every time I try to fix the problem..they make it worse...the problem multiplies and get worse. My $1000 order is now over $6000 with over charging, double charging and pending charges.. It suppose to on clearance and closing..and you can go almost anywhere and get Ashley furniture from other distributors... WHATEVER YOU DO DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THE ASHLEY OUTLET CLEARANCE STORE in Maple Shade, NJ!!!

Bought a couch from this location during a Memorial Day sale. When I bought my couch, the promotion was it would come with a free espresso machine. They said it would get delivered in the mail 2-3 weeks after the couch. I was supposed to get a confirmation email from Best Buy saying the espresso machine was on its way. Never got it. Called the store and they said they sent an email to the distributor and said to check back in a week. Heard nothing. Called once more a week later and was told they would send another email to the distributor. Finally got a confirmation email from Best Buy that the espresso machine was being shipped, but I was not given access to the tracking information. 2 months after the couch was delivered, I got a call from a Philadelphia FedEx shipping center that they had a package for me that they were going to return to sender by the end of the day if I didn’t come pick it up. It was the espresso machine. They promised me a free espresso machine and instead of sending it to my address like a normal company would, they: 1. Forgot to send it 2. Didn’t respond to an email reminder for a week 3. Didn’t give me tracking information 4. Sent it to a totally different address (FedEx shipping center) 5. Never notified me of its arrival 6. Sent me the machine 2 months after my original purchase Terrible experience. They really tried everything in the book to not let me get this bottom-line espresso machine.

Terrible experience. Zero stars! Purchased dinette set with two chairs, and a recliner. Extremely overpriced delivery charge. Within a few weeks, dinette chairs are peeling, buckling, chunks out of leg. Store refuses to replace or refund, disputed charge with credit card. Complaints filed with NJ Attorney General and BBB too. Keep getting runaround, next step lawsuit!

The selection here is very good, but the business practices left a lot to be desired. After finding lower prices online, we were met with vague promises during negotiations. We paid for our order under the impression that the units would be delivered within two weeks. However, the paperwork revealed a delivery date nearly three months out, with a minimum delivery time of 45 days. Our salesperson, Zohab, seemed inexperienced and was unable to resolve the issue. Ultimately, we requested a refund and decided to shop elsewhere. Unfortunately, due to this experience and the delivery delays, I would not return. Our new sectional will be delivered in 4 days… thanks for a headache!

Angel/ Ashley Cherryhill store - Angel was extremely knowledgeable about mattresses and the furniture at Ashley in general. He gave us time and space when we first came in. Didn’t crowd us. Wasn’t pushy. Gave his honest opinions when asked but didn’t try to push us towards anything we didn’t want. He made a mattress shopping experience a good one.

I was delivered a bed from Ashley two weeks ago and immediately after sleeping on it one night all of the supports were cracked and falling off. I called support and was told parts would be mailed and could take 7 weeks to arrive. However, they seemed sure it would be much faster. After calling for a week for updates, the parts have not even been mailed. I tried calling the store which was not helpful, and recalling the service line to make it clear our bed is dangerously broken. Our mattress is nearly about to collapse onto the ground and no one seemed concerned. When we called to return the entire thing we were told we were outside of the return window, for a broken bed that was broken night one. I will never use Ashley Furniture again and will warn others. I am extremely disappointed in the lack of concern or service.

Absolutely terrible customer service, put in a repair request for furniture purchased from this store on the 9th of June was told to send pictures. Never received a call back called on the 18th. No one even looked at the request yet and was told I would be called back in 72 hrs 9 days and nothing from the terrible store. I will never shop at ashley again we will go to anyone else.

If i could give no stars I would. We purchased our couch with the warranty. They have had to come out twice to fix the fabric ripping at the seams. Now they are refusing to fix it again even though the warranty is still valid. We have called the store manager and talked with several people and they are unable to help.

I strongly recommend avoiding this franchise. Beau Graves sold me a 5-year protection plan for $100 with the promise that if no claims were made, I could get my money back. When I requested the refund, I was told it would only be issued as store credit within their franchise. As an active duty military member now stationed elsewhere in the U.S., I can't use the store credit, and they refuse to offer a merchandise credit or send a check to my current address. Extremely disappointing experience and poor customer service.

We came in for a sleeper sofa and Angel was very helpful in helping us find and buy one. We had a great easy experience.

Purchased a couch a few years back that’s still under warranty but somehow the couple things we have going on is not covered. Of course right that’s how it works pay hundreds of dollars for a warranty and can’t use it. We will never buy another piece of furniture from Ashley F.

My husband and I are building a home and needed quite a bit of new furniture. We stopped in one Sunday afternoon and were greeted by Angel who was super knowledgeable and explained the layout of the store. He gave us plenty of time to look around the store as there is so much to see. We were really impressed with all of the options the store had. We kept in contact with him throughout the week and gathered a list of all the pieces we wanted to purchase and when we came back in the following Sunday he had a printout of everything we chose and walked us around so we could take a quick look over everything one more time. We also decided that day to purchase a mattress and Angel helped guide us to pick what would be the best for us. He was never pushy or too “salesy”. He made the process so smooth and seamless. Absolutely wonderful experience!

Zero stars. New store manager does not put the customer first. Don't give people store credit, and then not allow them to use it the day of purchase. He is making us come back to pick up a small cart that we are buying from the showroom floor, that we could have easily walked out with right then and there. All because it was STORE CREDIT, which we earned for not using their warranty. RIDICULOUS! Shame on you!

Have had nothing but bad experiences with Ashley furniture. Just bought my second mattress from the cherry hill location in 10 years and it started sloping within the first few months I purchased it. I bought one of their “premium mattress” to prevent the same thing that happened to my first mattress, but that was not the case. Since I’m locked in to a 5 year financing, there is no getting out of it. Ashley furniture sends a 3rd party company to check your mattress and the technician will tell you everything you want to hear, then writes a report that is completely the opposite. I am over a decade in on bad mattresses from this place. I strongly recommend you buy your mattress from another place so you don’t have to go through the same problem. Their customer service simply just does not care once the mattress is in your home and makes you go through this never ending circle that does not resolve your problem, as I am now stuck with another terrible mattress that I “paid up” for their premium line

Good selection, reasonable prices

More like 3.5 stars due to Ashley’s quality and ease of payments and financing. That being said, I was told 2-3 weeks on my furniture. It’s been over two months with an empty apartment. I guess things can be worse but c’mon man. Always quality product at Ashley so it’s worth the wait, but its frustrating when they give you a time frame to get the sale and do not really care when it gets delivered, or at least it seems that way. All the folks over there are nice too, but the Delivery is extremely delayed.

Honestly can't say much. The recliner sold to us was defective. Luckily we bought insurance on it, however that isn't even being fixed after 2 tries. So we're waiting for that to be taken care of. The store says they can't do anything about it. It has to be done with services. So we can't even return the faulty EXPENSIVE piece sold to us and plus the insurance money that we paid are being wasted due to it not being fixed. We also ordered sofas and were told they'll be here mid Sept. It's Sept 25th, I called and now they'll be arriving at the store on Oct 21st. I have to keep calling to inquire about my furniture when I should be getting updates by the store regarding my orders. It's just frustrating to deal with this.

Angel is Awesome!

I visited Ashley hoping to take advantage of Labor Day sales to buy a sofa for my new place but left without making a purchase due to poor customer service. Upon entering, I wasn’t greeted, even though I saw an associate leave the front kiosk as I approached. As I continued to shop, two more associates walked by without offering assistance or even acknowledging me. However, these same associates gathered at the front to greet another couple who walked in. As someone with extensive retail experience, I understand when staff are busy, but this was not the case on Friday evening. The experience was disappointing and led me to take my business elsewhere.

Our salesman Angel was so helpful in showing us different options and explaining about the different fabrics. He didn’t rush us and wasn’t pushy with the sale. Great experience!

Had a great experience at Ashley furniture today! We worked with Angel DeJesus and ended up purchasing so much great furniture for our new home. Angel helped us get the best deals and we left with a bedroom set and mattress and spent much less than we had expected to. He really listened to our plan and we sat together and outlined how we wanted the room to look. Angel had great ideas in terms of color/style and we left with exactly what we needed!

After three days, you are not permitted to return anything. I spent roughly 7 thousand dollars on furniture at this store, which included bedroom furniture, and living room furniture. The couches for the living room didn’t fit right, and the wrong color was delivered. By the time 7 days had elapsed, the manager of the store was unable to honor the 30-day return policy that Ashley stores have in place online. He told me that his shop is privately owned and that it has a return policy that is 72 hours….72 hours? That is ridiculous. They do not honor Ashley’s store policy. I would recommend that you go to a different store, such as Bob's Furniture Store - customers are treated reasonably. At Ashley's, I will never make a purchase of any kind. I recommend you really think about buying anything at privately owned furniture stores. This 72 hour period is a scam.

I want to preface by saying they have a fantastic sales team everyone in the store is super kind and very patient. I don't feel pressured to buy and everyone I've spoken with has been super upfront, helpful, and knowledgeable about products in their store. Here's the kick. I went to purchase a piece of wall art I had seen a couple weeks back and couldn't stop thinking about. Finally decided to spend the money. Made the purchase, and went around to the warehouse doors to have them load it into the trunk. About the size of a 65" TV, it was a full glass piece with no frame. Unfortunately, it was leaned on the wall on the short side (would never do this to a TV😂) and when they went to move it, it bent like a recurve bow (it was in bubble wrap). Long story short, the piece was mishandled and ended up shattering. I would otherwise give 5 stars to Ashley furniture, I just purchased furniture a month ago and had no problems, but after spending hundreds of dollars on something I was very excited to have on my wall, I was really disappointed in how everything played out going home with an empty vehicle. They said they have another at a different location so hopefully I arrives in one piece. Will update

Learn from my mistake and never accept an incomplete couch from Ashley. The couch was delivered missing the chaise’s back cushion, which the 3rd party delivery technician noted and called customer service for a replacement. Ashley does not provide email confirmations or estimated delivery times for replacement parts so I called in for updates and waited and wondered when the cushion would arrive. Let it be known that your replacement cushion will come in 2 boxes - stuffing and separate cushion covers - which you get to put together yourself. 4 phone calls later you will still have an incomplete product but making full payments.

Had such a wonderful experience this week. The sales associate, Angel, was unbelievably knowledgeable, kind, patient, and funny! He rolled with all the punches we threw at him and was looking out for my best interest. The associate who took my payment, Collin, was also an absolute gem- personable, warm, polite, and so friendly. They made a big purchase feel much more comfortable!

From the time I walked in the store, until the time I left, it was an enjoyable experience. I was free to browse around the store without a sales person hounding me. But she made it known that she would be available when needed…which she was. She was very helpful.

If you purchase furniture at Ashley Furniture in Cherry Hill, do not purchase the warranty. Deceptive business practices are used to encourage you to buy the warranty, but when it's time to use it, there's a problem. The sales agent continuously bugged me about purchasing this warranty because my dresser has mirrors at the bottom. He said, "If you have any problems with this dresser, we will replace it." Lies! I noticed very fine scratches all over the top of the dresser. Ashley Furniture sent an incompetent repair person to my home who ruined my dresser by applying an uneven coat of paint that bubbled up. It looks horrible! Now my dresser has to taken to their warehouse for 10-15 business days. Hello?! Where are my clothes supposed to go? Then, the repairman used an extremely strong paint spray that could send anyone with lung issues to the hospital. He left the top of my dresser wrapped in plastic and told me that he didn't know when my dresser would be repaired. He obviously was unskilled because he had to keep going to his truck as if he were trying to figure out what to do. Then he called someone for assistance telling them that the paint bubbled up on my dresser. The warranty company had the nerve to try to offer me the warranty money back as a store credit instead of fixing my dresser. Are you crazy? My dresser looked better before this man showed up. The customer service is lacking, and when I tried to speak to a manager at the Cherry Hill location about how their agent deceived me into buying this warranty, a manager is never available. I will never shop at Ashley Furniture again! They had the nerve to send me a pre approval for a credit card. Go kick rocks!

Angel went above and beyond to find us our perfect sofa and loveseat. He made sure to us every option possible that fit our criteria and that would fit our space comfortably. We’ll definitely be back!
