AJ is probably the first and only sales person that was totally helpful without being aggressive. Most sales people we have dealt with were so over powering and really never helped us. My mother Barbara and I were greeted very pleasently once thru the entrance by Danielle . She walked us along as she asked what our shopping interest were today . She carefully listend and inquired about a few more details . Danielle proceded to escort us along to where we most likey would locate our intrest of couches and recliners . She left us to our looking over the extra large space of products which was nice , it allowed us the time to be thorough with our check over the choices . She was timely with returning to see how our shopping was coming along which made our shopping at Ashley a fantastic time . Danielle service for us was very kind and caring with prompt service with a friendly smile and a great personality .
I was acknowledged upon entering the store and greeted by Vicki. She immediately informed me about available promotions, "free delivery", finance options available $50 gift card,etc. Made herself my sales associate but lmk that she would not follow me around but would be available for questions. When I was ready she was ready to complete the process. She was very pleasant to work with.

My husband and I are building a home and needed quite a bit of new furniture. We stopped in one Sunday afternoon and were greeted by Angel who was super knowledgeable and explained the layout of the store. He gave us plenty of time to look around the store as there is so much to see. We were really impressed with all of the options the store had. We kept in contact with him throughout the week and gathered a list of all the pieces we wanted to purchase and when we came back in the following Sunday he had a printout of everything we chose and walked us around so we could take a quick look over everything one more time. We also decided that day to purchase a mattress and Angel helped guide us to pick what would be the best for us. He was never pushy or too “salesy”. He made the process so smooth and seamless. Absolutely wonderful experience!

Zero stars. New store manager does not put the customer first. Don't give people store credit, and then not allow them to use it the day of purchase. He is making us come back to pick up a small cart that we are buying from the showroom floor, that we could have easily walked out with right then and there. All because it was STORE CREDIT, which we earned for not using their warranty. RIDICULOUS! Shame on you!

Have had nothing but bad experiences with Ashley furniture. Just bought my second mattress from the cherry hill location in 10 years and it started sloping within the first few months I purchased it. I bought one of their “premium mattress” to prevent the same thing that happened to my first mattress, but that was not the case. Since I’m locked in to a 5 year financing, there is no getting out of it. Ashley furniture sends a 3rd party company to check your mattress and the technician will tell you everything you want to hear, then writes a report that is completely the opposite. I am over a decade in on bad mattresses from this place. I strongly recommend you buy your mattress from another place so you don’t have to go through the same problem. Their customer service simply just does not care once the mattress is in your home and makes you go through this never ending circle that does not resolve your problem, as I am now stuck with another terrible mattress that I “paid up” for their premium line

Good selection, reasonable prices
More like 3.5 stars due to Ashley’s quality and ease of payments and financing. That being said, I was told 2-3 weeks on my furniture. It’s been over two months with an empty apartment. I guess things can be worse but c’mon man. Always quality product at Ashley so it’s worth the wait, but its frustrating when they give you a time frame to get the sale and do not really care when it gets delivered, or at least it seems that way. All the folks over there are nice too, but the Delivery is extremely delayed.
Honestly can't say much. The recliner sold to us was defective. Luckily we bought insurance on it, however that isn't even being fixed after 2 tries. So we're waiting for that to be taken care of. The store says they can't do anything about it. It has to be done with services. So we can't even return the faulty EXPENSIVE piece sold to us and plus the insurance money that we paid are being wasted due to it not being fixed. We also ordered sofas and were told they'll be here mid Sept. It's Sept 25th, I called and now they'll be arriving at the store on Oct 21st. I have to keep calling to inquire about my furniture when I should be getting updates by the store regarding my orders. It's just frustrating to deal with this.

I visited Ashley hoping to take advantage of Labor Day sales to buy a sofa for my new place but left without making a purchase due to poor customer service. Upon entering, I wasn’t greeted, even though I saw an associate leave the front kiosk as I approached. As I continued to shop, two more associates walked by without offering assistance or even acknowledging me. However, these same associates gathered at the front to greet another couple who walked in. As someone with extensive retail experience, I understand when staff are busy, but this was not the case on Friday evening. The experience was disappointing and led me to take my business elsewhere.
Our salesman Angel was so helpful in showing us different options and explaining about the different fabrics. He didn’t rush us and wasn’t pushy with the sale. Great experience!

Had a great experience at Ashley furniture today! We worked with Angel DeJesus and ended up purchasing so much great furniture for our new home. Angel helped us get the best deals and we left with a bedroom set and mattress and spent much less than we had expected to. He really listened to our plan and we sat together and outlined how we wanted the room to look. Angel had great ideas in terms of color/style and we left with exactly what we needed!

Doubt for the rest of what I want and need, I am going somewhere else. Can't see ashley store hopping. When they are 30min to hour apart.

After three days, you are not permitted to return anything. I spent roughly 7 thousand dollars on furniture at this store, which included bedroom furniture, and living room furniture. The couches for the living room didn’t fit right, and the wrong color was delivered. By the time 7 days had elapsed, the manager of the store was unable to honor the 30-day return policy that Ashley stores have in place online. He told me that his shop is privately owned and that it has a return policy that is 72 hours….72 hours? That is ridiculous. They do not honor Ashley’s store policy. I would recommend that you go to a different store, such as Bob's Furniture Store - customers are treated reasonably. At Ashley's, I will never make a purchase of any kind. I recommend you really think about buying anything at privately owned furniture stores. This 72 hour period is a scam.

I want to preface by saying they have a fantastic sales team everyone in the store is super kind and very patient. I don't feel pressured to buy and everyone I've spoken with has been super upfront, helpful, and knowledgeable about products in their store. Here's the kick. I went to purchase a piece of wall art I had seen a couple weeks back and couldn't stop thinking about. Finally decided to spend the money. Made the purchase, and went around to the warehouse doors to have them load it into the trunk. About the size of a 65" TV, it was a full glass piece with no frame. Unfortunately, it was leaned on the wall on the short side (would never do this to a TV😂) and when they went to move it, it bent like a recurve bow (it was in bubble wrap). Long story short, the piece was mishandled and ended up shattering. I would otherwise give 5 stars to Ashley furniture, I just purchased furniture a month ago and had no problems, but after spending hundreds of dollars on something I was very excited to have on my wall, I was really disappointed in how everything played out going home with an empty vehicle. They said they have another at a different location so hopefully I arrives in one piece. Will update

Learn from my mistake and never accept an incomplete couch from Ashley. The couch was delivered missing the chaise’s back cushion, which the 3rd party delivery technician noted and called customer service for a replacement. Ashley does not provide email confirmations or estimated delivery times for replacement parts so I called in for updates and waited and wondered when the cushion would arrive. Let it be known that your replacement cushion will come in 2 boxes - stuffing and separate cushion covers - which you get to put together yourself. 4 phone calls later you will still have an incomplete product but making full payments.

If you purchase furniture at Ashley Furniture in Cherry Hill, do not purchase the warranty. Deceptive business practices are used to encourage you to buy the warranty, but when it's time to use it, there's a problem. The sales agent continuously bugged me about purchasing this warranty because my dresser has mirrors at the bottom. He said, "If you have any problems with this dresser, we will replace it." Lies! I noticed very fine scratches all over the top of the dresser. Ashley Furniture sent an incompetent repair person to my home who ruined my dresser by applying an uneven coat of paint that bubbled up. It looks horrible! Now my dresser has to taken to their warehouse for 10-15 business days. Hello?! Where are my clothes supposed to go? Then, the repairman used an extremely strong paint spray that could send anyone with lung issues to the hospital. He left the top of my dresser wrapped in plastic and told me that he didn't know when my dresser would be repaired. He obviously was unskilled because he had to keep going to his truck as if he were trying to figure out what to do. Then he called someone for assistance telling them that the paint bubbled up on my dresser. The warranty company had the nerve to try to offer me the warranty money back as a store credit instead of fixing my dresser. Are you crazy? My dresser looked better before this man showed up. The customer service is lacking, and when I tried to speak to a manager at the Cherry Hill location about how their agent deceived me into buying this warranty, a manager is never available. I will never shop at Ashley Furniture again! They had the nerve to send me a pre approval for a credit card. Go kick rocks!

I bought a sofa and loveseat in store, the salesman reinsured me that the warranty would cover damages, cleaning and rips. I've called several times and have been told that my warranty doesn't cover these things, call again now they do cover these things and furniture doctor will be out again to fix issues (they don't take stains off back pillows) They already restuffed pillows and they are horrible looking within a month, back pillows are literally detaching from sofa and the wood that hold the back cushions are broke in several pieces, so I have pillows under them holding them up. When I purchased this furniture I was told I would not have a big issues having the furniture replaced if needed but Ashley Furniture is doing anything they possibly can to not replace my furniture and not fix it all the way. My furniture is completely uncomfortable now, no back support at all anymore with the wood being broke. It's a shame that I cannot have this furniture replaced with the condition it is in when the warranty states that I can.

I recently purchased a powered reclining sofa. At Ashley there were many nice models to choose from with alot of features and color choices, the sales people, cashier and even the guy that helped me load my furniture in my truck were pleasant and helpful. I have purchased from Ashley before and will again in the future.
Absolute scammers. Found the same couch online for $500 less, then he takes down all of the info regarding it, walks away to enter things into the computer, and suddenly the price online matches the in-store price. I believe his name was Brandon or Cameron? In any case, please do yourself a favor and go anywhere but here. If you absolutely have no other option, I’d recommend checking online and keeping the price to yourself

This is a fairly average, lower-cost (and lower quality) furniture store. I was searching for a powered recliner and there were few suitable choices. I searched four other stores, but found what I wanted at Raymour & Flanagan in Cherry Hill. The staff was very friendly and the stood was well-lit and clean. Parking is also quite ample. Like most furniture stores, the interior is a maze (and I have not found any furniture that isn’t set up this way) and would probably be difficult navigating to all displays while in a wheel chair.

All I have to say is bob’s furniture is Ashley’s knock off. come to Ashley’s if you want authentic I didn’t know but I’ve bought furniture at bob’s and it broke so easily it was a joke and I come to Ashley’s and it felt like all that bob’s furniture does is take pictures of Ashley’s furniture and makes the cheap version of it and I don’t mean as far as money goes but as far as materials goes if you want good furniture Ashley’s is the place to go and I’m talking from experience

My wife and I purchased a mattress in 2019 and the sales person assured us that it was a great mattress with a 10 year warranty as long as we purchase an almost $200 cover for it. We have since moved to another state. Our mattress has began to sag in the middle. It is worthless. We called Ashley's where we purchased it. They said since we moved out of state the mattress warranty is void. Really??? Ashley's Furniture are thieves. Do not shop at any Ashley's Furniture. They are LIARS.

Save your money and time. This store sold us the protection plan for our dinning table. We got some scratches, they took our table to the warehouse to "fix" it when it was returned the table was worst they use a different sealer so the table didn't match the chairs and on top of that everything you would put on the table will get marked even the placemats. When I called to complain they gave me some excuse and didn't do anything. Then my table started bubling and when I called they said my plan didn't cover bubling so my protection plan was voided! I called different numbers from ashleys until finally I spoke to a gentleman I explained the situation long story short the money I paid for the protection plan he gave it back in store credit. So here we are I'm trying to use the store credit and it turns out there's no store credit because my table was "fix" and plan was voided. I've spent several hours on the phone for weeks on multiple occasions to get this resolved. I just give up. They lied to me, took my money, took forever to get back to me and the last person I spoke to aka MaryRose was rude and hung up the phone on me. I don't even think it's worth trying to call anybody else at this point.

Totally get it, there are supply chain issues. However, we are still waiting on furniture that we ordered last September (so, over 10 months) and their customer service has been the pits. Unlike other furniture retailers, like Raymour & Flanigan who we love, Ashley has you pay up front for your order if you're not financing through them, so they've had my money for close to a year and I do not have the items. Other places will take a deposit and you pay upon delivery. In addition, I have not received one proactive update from the store regarding delivery. I have had to call about 5 times now to check on everything. Don't let the prices fool you - I will happily pay more at any other retailer for better service in the future.
In march me & my husband bought a bed frame, the salesman said it would be in & ready to come to us in the second week of may, we said okay. The second week of may I call the store and the woman on the phone gave me an attitude and proceeded to tell me that we did not hit our 90 day mark and our bed frame wouldn’t be in until the second week of June. I called last week and the man on the phone said that everything except the headboard was in and the headboard wouldn’t be in until the beginning of July. 🤦🏻♀️ We regret buying it now. HORRIBLE SERVICE.

Loved my experience @ Ashley furniture. Ariel was extremely helpful with measuring the dining table I wanted and price matching with the online price which was cheaper. (Btw, always check online first before going to the store, prices tend to be cheaper online and store price matches) just a great experience.

Barb is an awesome sales person and has taken the time to call me multiple times with updates for my furniture despite my upset with supply chain delays. She’s the person you want to work with! I would post a lower star rating but it would be unfair to the work she’s put in. Regardless of the major delays, any product I’ve ordered has always come with great quality and efficient movers who did no damage to my home.

Well I had it just one year and the seat which is made out of wood caved in..Now only two of us live here so there was not alot of wear and tear. This should not of happened..I called there and was told I didn't buy the warranty which I really didn't think I needed so I would have to buy another chair.another $190.00. This was no fault on my part..I will not buy from them again...

Customer service is absolutely terrible. They tell you what ever they want and then when you call back it's a different story. I will not be shopping at Ashley any longer. I haven't had a kitchen table since the 2nd they told me it would be back in my home within 14 business days and here we are and I still don't have the table and haven't heard one word from them and when I call I get the run around and am told the person I need to speak to is not in. Absolutely ridiculous.

Recently just purchased from the Cherry Hill location and had a fabulous experience with the sales guy, David. He was able to explain every question I had about the pieces and pointed me in the right direction for the things I was trying to find. Couldn't have asked for better sales service. Typically when you go to furniture stores they are constantly pushing you and following you around but David did not. If you are looking for furniture at Ashley's ask for David.
My girlfriend and I purchased a sectional sofa plus an ottoman from Ashley Furniture about a month ago. Eventually last week they called and scheduled a delivery for March 10th. On March 10th, the driver called and spoke very angrily at me on the phone and kept asking "which building of the complex I need to go to?" although they had the precise address. After several phone calls and guiding him on the phone, eventually he found us and as soon as he got off the truck, he started yelling at us and threatening that he would not deliver the sectional if we didn't behave and kept talking loudly and angrily. He then said OK I am done and I have other deliveries and obviously you don't want the couch. No matter how many times I said where are you going, he left without delivering the couch. My girlfriend had a panic attack and cried due to the aggressive behavior and close face-to-face angry talking of the driver. I also videotaped the incident. After calling Ashley several times on the following Friday, Saturday and Sunday and not managing to talk to the delivery manager, on March 15th they called us and offered an apology and said they have talked to the driver and handled the situation internally as well. They also said that the driver already had the accurate address with the exact building and apartment number and did not have to ask you. They also offered a $100 discount as an apology and also a new delivery date, which I declined. I cannot forgive this behavior and the panic attack they gave my gf and also the discriminatory business practice for $100. So they have taken our sectional hostage now. Do not buy from them. Very unprofessional behavior! UPDATE 3-27-2022: Two months since we purchased the sectional and still they refuse to deliver the sectional or return our money despite admitting their mistake and apologizing on the phone. Very arrogantly, they have taken our money and sectional hostage and basically they say sue us, you can't do anything about it. UPDATE 4-6-2022: After months and abusing our trust, time, and energy, they still haven't delivered what we paid for. Really, do not buy from them especially if you're minority. UPDATE: After talking to them again, they gave us false stories about us causing the issue while they had previously accepted they were at fault. After delivery, they also didn't honor their word and didn't give us the $100 they had promised to pay for their mistake. Terrible experience, terrible customer service, pro liars, and extremely aggressive. DON'T TRUST THEM!

Before you buy in store, check online price cause it's usually cheaper online and they won't tell you. They're like car salesmen and will fast talk you if they can. And they claim everything is in stock but it's not and my delivery came days late.

The sales manager was who we worked with. They didn’t have exactly what we wanted on the show room floor but she went out of her way to find a piece from the collection so we would feel comfortable with our decision. Even after that, she found a comparable size sectional to measure so we could visualize the size of the entire set. Really pleased with the service and wasn’t afraid to make a big purchase with them.

I ordered living room and dining room furniture in October. I was told when ordering that the living room sectional would be in mid-November. I have YET to receive any of my furniture. Every time I call, I get a new story, different possible dates, another excuse. Totally disgusted.
I was so fortunate to come into your store when I did tonight. We are having a stressful time right now caring for two elderly parents at home. We ordered bedroom furniture for a live in caregiver from another merchant that was supposed to arrive in their warehouse on Jan 24th, then delayed until Feb 7th. The caregiver moved in today and will be sleeping on an air mattress until the furniture arrives. We received an email this morning that the furniture has now been delayed until Feb 22nd. I frantically have been online looking for furniture. I stopped into Ashley furniture on my way home from work and fortunately was met by a salesman named Ron A. While he didn’t have any twin sets in stock, he came up w the idea of selling me a mattress and a mattress foundation that will be delivered in the next day or two just so we can at least get the aide off of the air mattress as soon as possible. During a time that is so stressful, Ron was so kind and helpful I was in tears telling my family of his help. We will definitely be back when we are in the market for furniture and will ask for Ron. Please give my thanks to him again.
Bought a table set from them at the end of November. When purchasing, we were told that until the table is in our home we can refund it WITH NO PENALTY. As of 1/27/22 we still do not have our table, as the chairs are not in. Recently, we found the same exact table at raymour and flannagan for not only a cheaper price but, fully in stock. When we called to cancel the original order from Ashley’s, we were told it would be a 200 dollar charge. Ridiculously bad customer service. Do not recommend shopping here.

So originally I rated Ashley 5 stars because I had a great experience during the purchase of a dining table and couch. I am now changing my rating as my experience has changed since then. I was told my dining set would be in stock in March. It is now May and I have been given no updates as to a delay. I am being told it will be delivered in July or August now. It is ridiculous that I should have to wait 6 months for a set to he delivered. No one at the store has been helpful at all in helping correct this issue.

Cherry Hill Ashley Homestore has a vase beautiful selection of furniture in a variety of taste and style at reasonable cost. I wish i had come here first when purchasing my bedroom furniture rather than BOB's whose is nice; but not the same quality or service. Andy was my salesperson. He was excellent, friendly and so helpful. Talking with and getting to know him was a pleasure. The ladies at the desk were great too. When i need an UPGRADE this is where i will come in the future. Sale guy was excellent however the delivery people are the worst ever! I live in a 114 units building and the delivery guy indicate that the sofa wont pass through the door WITHOUT TRYING. Ashely reschedule my delivery, The same guy came over and again told me I WONT EVEN TRY! so my order was cancelled making me to waste my time, unable to speak with a manager and with the WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. 0/10 If Ashley will hire this type of people for delivery the name of the company will go to the floor, I will make sure that I spread the word enough of this bad experience

I was in the store for about 30 minutes looking at dining furniture. Walking all over the store. Not once did any associate approach me to ask if I needed help. It was around 7:30PM, store was sort of dead. So no excuses for the employees at the store. Terrible impression of customer service.

When we inquired about an item with him, he was able to answer all of our questions, which helped in our decision to purchase. Had a horrible experience. Ordered bedroom furniture mid August. They sent us two of the same legs for the headboard. They ordered us new legs, we waited 2 months to get the new legs. .. THE WERE THE SAME TWO LEGS WHICH ARE WRONG. Customer service didn’t offer any discounts for this inconvenience and said they’d have their manager call back … never got a call. Extremely disappointed in Ashley. Definitely won’t be ordering any other furniture from them. Their customer service is horrendous and they truly don’t care about their buyers.

I left and came back after sometime of being indecisive about my decision . Ron again was helpful and patient. In this time of the world climate choosing furniture and having it delivered in timely fashion has been challenging . Thank you for your helping make my house a home .
We had a very pleasant shopping experience at the Cherry Hill Ashley Homestore. We spent a good bit of time looking at all the dining tables that were set up throughout the store. We were offered help if needed but not pressured at all. When we had made our selection our salesperson, Hunter, was available. She explained the process, took our order and had us checked out in less than 30 minutes. She was very knowledgeable and offered helpful advice.great experience!

The showroom has lots of choices and our salesman Frank was not pushy. He let us explore after we were there for a bit he came over asked us if we had any questions he could answer. It was just enough time that we did have a few questions. Frank answered them and got us all the information we needed to make our decision. Unfortunately there will be a delay in getting our new livingroom set but it will be worth the wait.
I went into the Cherry Hill location and Ben helped me pick out the perfect couch. He took his time and explained the entire process and was complete transparent with pricing and what I should expect with shipping. Ben made the whole experience really nice and comfortable.

I have purchased many items from Ashley’s over the years and also purchased their insurance protection plans with them. When it came time to use them they will not let us. We are a military family and have moved away from NJ. They never mentioned when they took our money that the insurance wouldn’t be able to be used if we moved from the area. They knew when we bought from them that we were a military family bc they delivered all our furniture to the Air Force Base. They were happy to take over $500 from us for insurance. Our leather sectional has rips all over the cushions and we paid quite a lot for it. I am extremely disappointed and disgusted how they don’t have any mention in their insurance paperwork about how you have to stay in the area. We have hundreds of dollars in store credit there after some of our insurance wasn’t used that we won’t be able to use. I will 100% never recommend your store!

These furniture are terrible specially customer service for repair . They charged me 700 bucks for guarantees. I called them 20 times for repair and no body call me back . Finally after my calls someone came and fix just 2 items with tight screws for 10 min and left. Don’t waste your money for these brand special for guarantee. They are ridiculous.
I was impressed with the amount of displays available to test out. And how easy it was to find a representative as I walked around the enormous building.
Our salesperson Moulay at the Cherry Hill, NJ location lied to us and manipulated us - he told us the couch we were buying would be delivered mid to late September. After we went through all of the paperwork and purchased the couch, he said “Remember, you won’t hear from me until mid to late November”. My wife and I both immediately responded with the September date. He attempted to act coy and play it off as if he said November the first time. He was not convincing. He gave us a series of half hearted apologies and chuckles as he refunded our order. He wasted our time and lied to us. He tried to swindle us and made sure we new the “November date” after the order was completed. Do not shop here.
Needed a lift chair for my father post surgery and Frank Ryan was already looking for available stock and delivery times before we even asked him. Then with the help of management , he was able to set up delivery quickly so my dad would have the chair before he is able to leave the hospital. Thank you, you helped take some major stress away. I had texted Nono and she responded immediately and assured me she would make the change as soon as she got to work the next day, which she did. The last time I was at Ashley in Cherry Hill was two years ago with my friend who was buying a couch. I felt like I was at a car dealership. It was nuts. Leary about going back, my husband and I stopped in there first on our way to three other stores. And then we met Larry. Larry Ditkoff is the perfect salesman. He’s knowledgeable about what he’s selling but leaves you alone to try out your options. No pressure. And he’s friggin funny! Very personable. We never even bothered going anywhere else. We went home to discuss and remeasure and back the next day to purchase our sectional. I cannot wait to veg out on our new couch. Everyone we met at Ashley is so nice and friendly. The showroom is humongous and super clean. Larry is the best. We’ll get all of our furniture from there for now on.

My husband I ordered furniture for our new house and we’re quoted 90 days. 90 days later we still don’t have our furniture and are still telling us it will be another 3 weeks. It’s been nothing but frustration and I would not recommend shopping here.

Decent price for decent furniture
First time here, and first time purchasing a couch for myself. They have a pretty extensive selection to choose from, and although it is on the pricier/ (?) higher end, I was able to find something affordable and of good quality. I was pleased with our choice. Also, I like the fact that they don't hound you in the store. They let you browse and check things out yourself.

I purchased a sofa and loveseat and had a scheduled delivery 5 days later. They were scheduled to come between 10-2pm. 2pm comes and no call, no nothing. I call and was told that the driver had one more delivery and that I was next. Two hours later still no furniture, no call, no nothing only to find out that my delivery was canceled and that I had to reschedule with the store. The next delivery date is 5 days from now. So much for the get together I planned this weekend, and I missed a doctor's appointment today and we know how easy they are to get these days. Besides the botched delivery how the hell in 2021 with multiple ways to contact people nobody could pick up a phone and tell me anything. My whole day is basically shot waiting for a furniture delivery that was never coming.

Worst customer service ever. Furniture is delivered damaged and can’t get a hold of ANYONE for replacement. Call and get put in hold, hung up on, and transferred back and forth between 2 departments over and over again. Tried emailing the salesman and he couldn’t care less after he got his commission. Absolute worst treatment I have ever received as a customer anywhere. Avoid this place at all costs!

I pretty much had the same experience like all the other reviews for them have described. I ordered a sectional on September 1st. They said, and the receipt I have said it would be delivered Mid-end of October 2020. I had to call week after week to get any answers. They said they were waiting on one piece and to call back at this date. Then I'd call again and they said they're waiting on two pieces and to call back on this date. Round and around they never once called me, I had to reach out. I ended up finally getting the sectional TWO DAYS BEFORE Christmas. And when I tried calling Monday and Tuesday because I was suppose to get a call confirming a time, they said they didn't have me scheduled for delivery on that Wednesday. I told them no. I spoke to a manager that past Friday and he said Wednesday will be the day it is delivered. I told them they will find a way to deliver Wednesday. I was so fed up at this point. Over and done with now and will not be buying anything from them again.

My in store experience was fairly decent. The store is clean and spacious. The sales rep helped me around and gave me enough space and time to make a decision. I decided to order a dresser so I asked how long will it take to be delivered and I was told 4 weeks. Soon after I paid for the dresser with my debit card the receipt read it will take approximately 6 weeks to be delivered. I waited 6 weeks before I called and requested for a delivery updates. The customer service rep was very rude and unhelpful. He basically told me just wait until they figure it out and stop asking about my order. I waited 8 weeks and called back for another update and once again the customer service reps were being very difficult with me. I asked if there is discount if I don’t get my dresser in the new estimated time. He tells me no they aren't accommodating to any issues that arise because of their own negligence. I then asked about the cancellation process and refund policy. The customer service rep stated I can have a refund but I have to come in to the store, cancel the order, insert my debit card and sign off to get the refund. I then told him I’ll just be a little more patient and give it another 2 weeks. After another 2 weeks I called for an update and was told that they canceled my order; even though I never came to the store nor did tell them to cancel my order. They never contacted me to let me cancellation was approved they didn't refund my payment. I had to go in person to receive my refund. DO NOT BUY HERE IT'S WASTE OF TIME, MONEY, & ENERGY.
Updating my review from December when we were supposed to receive our couch and loveseat. We've had our set for a month now. We are very pleased with the pieces! They are everything we imagined and have been looking forward to. Their furniture is great, however, expect the absolute bare minimum from their staff. As far as customer service goes, it doesn't seem to exist off the storeroom floor. They only want to make a sale and will not reach out to you to communicate anything about your order unless they absolutely have to (ie: scheduling the delivery). I'm sorry I invested in them and wish I took my business elsewhere... But again, this furniture is great.
Order my bedroom set in July, still not recive anything yet, the worse it’s they never call always I have to call ask what’s going on with my furniture, my delivery was for the first week of September later after thanksgiving weekend, after never receive any call from them, have to go to the store and figure out, now they say middle of January, let see after that what else they come with. If not delivery by that time I will cancel and never buy anything from them anymore. I understand about the pandemic but damm 6 months that sucks

I am aware of the delays due to covid and am completely understanding of it but businesses need to stop blaming all mistakes, carelessness, and poor behavior on covid. Placed an order on July 4th for dining set and sectional. Dining set arrived within the 6 week time period given to us. Sectional... the sectional was set to arrive August, September, October, November, you see my point obviously I cancelled. A few weeks after the dining set was delivered I received the statement and notice that I was still being charged for the sectional I cancelled, I report to the store and they fix the issue. Couple weeks after the first statement some charges appear on my synchrony Ashley's account, these purchases weren't made by me so I called the store and synchrony. The store has no idea what's going on, a few minutes after the call ended someone from the store called and told me a sales associate made a mistake and put someone else's purchase on my account! How this can happen is beyond me, the address needs to match the account and or drivers license. Next statement my minimum payment goes up by double what its suppose to be. Again we make another call and synchrony tells us it's because of all the unauthorized purchases and all the back and forth the store is doing with our account. After receiving a new card, new statement also, now my payment has not only doubled but I am being charged interest on a purchase that was suppose to be 0% interest for 60 months! The store blames synchrony and synchrony blames the store, and no one is taking accountability for what's going on.
If i could give a 0 I would. I understand we are in a pandemic and things will be delayed, but their communication and customer services is appaling. I was told the LATEST our deliveries would come in would be a few months from purchase which, again, I was understanding of. I'm now almost 3 months past that date and still waiting. I have had to call myself for updates on the furniture AND to ask what had come in to schedule delivery, even though that's what they repeatedly promised they would inform me of. It wasn't once or twice but EVERY time we've had to call for any informaiton/delays/updates/availability for delivery. I was never connected to a manager and never received a call back from one. They keep trying to appease with "I'll make a note of that in your file" and "I'm sorry, that's unacceptable, that will not happen again" but has remained the same routine. I'm beyond disappointed I invested my time and money into them and now feel stuck waiting for the rest.
I as many others have been waiting on a living room set for over 3 months. Mind you I paid for it in full. Believe me I understand a by iut the delays with covid. But as soon as it gets close to the day for deliver here comes a call . Your set has been pushed back to January. Oh hell no, I'll take a refund today please. Now another issue, you want to give me 4000 credit on my credit card. We came to the conclusion that you would send me a check. I spent 1/2 hour in your store to get this resolved. You call me again to inconvenience me on a Sunday. You need me to fill out paperwork and copy of my driver's license. You didn't know you needed this when I was in person at your location. This is not good customer experience at all. You all need to be on the same page when you make decisions to try and rectify the issue while I was in the store to avoid bring the person back or cause more anger within the person. Be warned go elsewhere for your furniture needs

We are in unprecedented times and COVID is driving major delays across all supply chains. I’ve been waiting on my furniture for 2 months now. The biggest problem is not the delay, but their lies! First They say they are waiting on one piece and then they say they waiting on 3 pieces. The manager Amanda told us she would take care of us and keep us informed about our situation but she obviously doesnt care at all. I will never buy there again. I placed an order in July for three bedroom sets, and understandably with Covid we expected delays. Our Sales Rep told us our furniture would be in early September. At the beginning of September I received an email from the rep saying is was looking more like end of September. At that point I had waited so long I figured a couple extra weeks wouldn’t be a huge deal. Well it’s the beginning of November and still no furniture. I had to reach out for the last update, responses to emails and phone calls take an unreasonable amount of time to be returned. I cancelled two of the sets almost two weeks ago and still no refund. I received an email from the Sales Rep this Monday saying all three sets would be in in two weeks. When I tried to reach back out to confirm my cancellation (sales rep didn’t respond to multiple emails and phone calls to the store manager were not returned) they didn’t have any notes in the system! I have a receipt for the cancelled items. So they have $4,500 of my money for almost 4 months and I still don’t have furniture and it’s proving difficult to cancel and get a refund. Do yourself a favor and save yourself the headache and shop elsewhere.

Bought a sectional from them back in August. Been calling the past few weeks trying to get an update and they've been giving me the run around and keep delaying by two weeks. Spoke to a manager who escalated me to Michael, the area manager, who finally called me back sunday just to give me the run around. Can't give me a date, can't give me a discount for the inconvenience, can't tell me anything useful, with a rude tone to boot. We spent weeks trying to find the perfect sectional for our new place and the guy is quick to throw a refund in your face as if he's doing you a favor. "Family" chain of businesses that are quick to take your money but slow to deliver any kind of product. Avoid them and go to Raymour Flanigan.
Do not believe the delivery times given. I understand we have a pandemic going on and that things have been delayed but we ordered our furniture back in June. Our delivery dates have been pushed back 8 or 9 times now. We have been more than patient. They have had payment in full for more than 19 weeks and we have no furniture to show for it. When we were told our furniture was on the way to be delivered we sold the furniture set we had. We have been without furniture for months. The communication is horrible. We have had to constantly call for updates and depending who you speak to the story is different with broken promises. Last week the manager told us it was at the warehouse and would be delivered this week. Now that manager is out and I get another manager and they said the furniture just arrived but cant be delivered till end of next week. Go elsewhere if you can. Last time we ever purchase from Ashley's furniture.
My mother in law needs a recliner and we take her to get one. She has her medical letter that she cannot wear a mask due to her medical condition. As we are walking around trying to find a chair the hostess went to call on someone else. This man told us we had to leave the store. He was extremely rude and escorted my mother in law out and us as if we were thieves. He kept saying rude things and that he didn’t care she had a handicap. The rudest place we have ever been at!

I had a horrible experience with Ashley. I order furniture at the beginning of August, now with the pandemic I was fully prepared to wait 6-8 weeks to have my furniture delivered and that was not the fault of Ashley. What is their fault is the lack of communication that occurred leading up to my delivery. We were given a delivery date of mid September, this week rolls around and we have no confirmation of delivery. We had to call them to confirm. They said we would receive a call the night before delivery. Again, no call. We had to call again to confirm. Then it is now the day of delivery, they gave us a timeframe of 8am-12pm. It is now almost 12pm and there has been no communication. We call AGAIN and they say they are still not their first stop. The cherry on top of this is that we are still waiting on one more piece to be sent to the warehouse so we are not done with this headache yet. I suggest you go somewhere that has even adequate customer service where they dont leave you guessing or hoping your delivery comes when they said it would.
Barb was fantastic! She was so helpful. She aloud us to take our time without bothering us. When we had questions she was close by to answer. She gave us space which is a super plus. Would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for furniture!

I came into Ashley looking for a mattress and box I was greeted at the door by a salesperson who told me they were having a big sale on mattress the salesperson was very professional and knowledgeable the problem was I feel Ashley did not have a big selection of mattress I've been shopping around for a while I've been to raymour and mattress warehouse who have a huge selection of mattress I was also told also by Ashley's also that if I did not like the mattressi could not exchange it for another one both Seymour and mattress warehouse told me I could I spoke with the store manager and asked him about it he apologized and told me that is not Ashley's policy
This store or Ashley as a company sells a 5 year protection plan that covers nothing. Dont get sold on this 450.00 plan because its worth nothing. When you call in for a reapir for your fabric they will play it off that it is not something that is covered or wear and tear This furniture is very sub par and very cheaply made save your money and spend it elsewhere such as Raymour and Flanagan where they actually honor there warranty and stand behind there protection plan Most of the reviews in here are about the experience in store with the sales people who butter you up and treat you like gold. But you dont see many reviews after people get there furniture home and own it for a few months. Trust me it falls apart

Don’t buy furniture from Ashley’s. They sell cheap products and the products not come from Ashley. All the furniture was coming from value city furniture. I bought 2 twin bed from Ashley 3 month later the beds broke. Really really bad quality. The wood was so soft and you can break it easy with your hands.

The staff was friendly and actually left us alone to wander and look at stuff. Like all furniture stores there was too much to look at if you don't have a specific thing in mind. However, the selection was varied and we found a few things we liked. I would recommend this as a stop for anyone shopping for new furniture pieces.
Sadly our experience has not been stellar. Inside the store was fine, sales people were friendly, if not a little over eager. But that's when the good part stopped. Furniture was delivered, and we found 3 chairs had scratches on them. Also, the base of the table was not on the truck, so the top of the table was left on my dining room floor. Many calls to customer service took place and eventually they agreed to deliver the base of the table the next day. After the base was delivered, another inspection revealed 1 chair had a set of holes in the upholstery that looked like they came from a staple, and another chair we found was not even assembled correctly - it was manufactured incorrectly, and somehow got through I assume several inspections. And so we continue to wait for the set to be correctly addressed. Customer service folks (all but one), have acted and treated us like they dont want to be on the phone with us. All we want is for the set to be what we paid for. Would not recommend this experience to anyone.

Purchased a sectional back in September 2019 for our new home. Was advised to select a date for delivery advised that it probably won't be until December 2019. The sales person advised to call 10days prior to my schedule date to request the delivery date. In the meantime purchased another item from Deptford location. Called on November 27, 2019 to cherry hill advised that i would like to have both items delivered on December 7, 2019 was advised that would not be a problem. Received a call on 12/3/19 advising that only the bed was being delivered when i asked why they said because the sofa had not come in yet. Asked to speak with manager of Cherry Hill spoke with Michael who was extremely unprofessional and told me its because i initially picked a date in December for later in the month. I explained to him that i called back in October advising that our settlement got moved and I wanted an early date for delivery was advised it was to soon to do that and to call 10 days prior to. Which i did and now there is an issue for item that was paid for back in September 2019! When i asked to speak with the general manager he advised he was the general manager as well. This is extremely unacceptable. How can an item that was ordered later have no issue but one that purchased back in September be an issue!

Horrible business experience where no one there really cares about customers starting with Manager Mike Wheat. This company is not serious, they don't honor their delivery times, quality or customer service. They want your money, that is it..!!! I spent more that $ 5.000 and over all the problems, my delivery came defective. Please, respect yourself and find a better place for your business.
Me and my husband went there on Friday and sales person and his manager told us there is going to be a sale on Wednesday 11/27 gave us a paper made an appointment sales person wrote how much we will be going for which is higher then I wanted but he said we will try for lower. We went back on Wednesday and guess what NO SALE! He didn’t even go for the price he told us he would and he didn’t even try to keep us there. I asked him how come online price is cheaper I showed him he said I should buy it on line it is cheaper there. Disappointing!

The worst customer experience possible. Took 8+ weeks to receive a couch we were told would be 2 weeks delivery time. Continuously received calls saying our order was delayed due to “shipping issues” and there was nothing they could do. When our couch finally arrived they said it would be delivered any time we would like with 2 days notice. When our call was transferred to the delivery scheduling service they were extremely inflexible told us they couldn’t do it for 4 more days and would not allow us a time that worked with our working schedule causing our couch to now be delayed 1 more week. The sales associate in Cherry Hill just said sorry there is nothing we can do about that. Making it almost 3 months living in our apartment without a couch. Do not recommend ordering from Ashley or the Cherry Hill location specifically. Extremely poor customer service.

The miniature parking lot is exasperating. Turns out that Ashley is a franchise operation that does NOT makes it easy to place an order at this particular store, but then have the furniture delivered to a geographical area (such as Manhattan) that is served by a different franchisee. So we ended up spending our $3k at Raymour and Flanigan, which made the process seemless. Too bad, Ashley!
Decent furniture and staff. As the store has policy of price match, but they’re are not happy to do that. It a hassle to deal with them if you’re asking to price match. Been there a few times for different purchases, every time the price match policy was differently stated. Would appreciate if they have a consistency.
Everyone was very personable and more than willing to help me choose the right couch set. The entire process was smooth and I felt comfortable. I have shopped at Ashley before and will again in the future.

Stay away from shopping with Ashley. They have turned to selling cheaply made items that aren't worth what you pay for them. Went in once and was pushed around by highly pressured sales guy. I made a complaint. I was contacted by a manager who apologized and asked me to come back in and consider buying the couch at a discounted rate. I took them up on it; my mistake. Since I've purchased the couch it has had nothing but problems and now I know why they wanted me to come buy this couch so badly, it came with no warranty. Again, I live and learn, but it also shows me that the Ashley Furniture that once was, is no longer. They sell cheap stuff that falls apart in less than 2 years (a $1000 couch should last well over 2 years) especially in a home with only 2 adults who take care of it, no pets or children. But steer away from buying Ashley's cheap chinese stuff, or you'll just be buying another...sooner than later.

Awful Experience! In store was fine but the worker don’t know what they are talking about. They told us that our bed set would be at our house on Thursday. NEVER SHOWS UP FOR WEEKS. We call and they are problematic and unhelpful and very inconsiderate. When we got our bed set, dresser, and nightstand the whole left side of the dresser had messed up drawers!!!! EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED

Came in to just get a general feel or some couches and sectionals since we are military and moving in 3 weeks, want to get something ordered online. It was quiet and very nice. Nobody stormed me and followed me around, they just let me look, I was in there for an hour and never pressured to anything. Found someone to answer a question I asked and continued on. One of the best furniture store experiences ever. Very clean and well kept store.
My invoice number 53265485 bought from Ashley furniture, cherry hill I have received maysville 3pk occasional table set on Saturday July 6, 2019 When table top is looked under the light, it reflected sequence of scratches in the middle part of the table. The scratches are permanent and is not getting wiped off. We complained about it after 2 hrs of delivery We got a reply after 48 hrs stating that the scratch is actually stress marks and are not manufacturing defect. The Ashley team said if we go for replacement we may get a table which has more stress marks. We spent around $300 and we got in return is a defected furniture. The sales lady didn’t explain about the manufacturing stretch marks on the table. We are highly disappointed about the product that we have got and here by want to make everyone aware that think multiples times before you buy anything for them. The customer service is for namesake and all Ashley cherry hill sell is defected furniture.

Really wish i could give them no stars. I bought a couch in January. When the workers arrived the couch was broke on the bottom so i told them to take it back. I got a new one weeks later and after using the couch for 3 months the couch broke. I bought the insurance and they came out and fixed the couch. Literally 2 weeks later the couch broke again. It is so cheaply made its a sin! I keep telling them i just want my money back and they can take this junk but they refuse. The insurance only covers repairs for up to three claims. I’ve had the couch for 5 months and I’m about to put my second claim in. I will never buy from them again.

Delivery service was horrible. The driver called and said he will be delivering with 40 to an hour. Didn’t delivery until 1 hours later, no courtesy call to say he’s running late.

I knew what I wanted when I arrived. No one greeted us at the door but several salesmen were talking amongst themselves. We found what we wanted and had to find someone to write us up to be sold .The Gentlemen was very nice and he was quick about but not in a rude way. Do not deal with Ashley Furniture. The store itself in Cherry Hill is quite nice and the salesperson who helped us, Danielle, was lovely. We placed our order for three pieces of furniture totaling ~$1,500 and got a delivery estimate of about 3-5 weeks in the future. Fine. This was all well and good with us. All of the problems started once delivery was attempted the first time. My girlfriend and I were at work when the delivery was scheduled but my mother-in-law was at the house to intercept the furniture when it arrived. We live in a 5 year old apartment building with ample space and we never thought getting a couch in the door would be an issue since we had just moved in a month prior and all of our things were moved in without issue. The movers could not get the couch in through the door--not because the door wasn't wide enough, but because "the turn radius" was not big enough. The movers refused to give my mother-in-law the dimensions of the furniture and told her it was "not their job." They left with our furniture and knocked over a potted plant at the front of our building, and didn't bother to clean the mess up or bring the mess to anyone's attention. We of course called Ashley Furniture over the situation and were told multiple times that we signed a contract and that we should have measured properly. When we asked how one could measure a turn radius, we were not given an answer. Let me tell you that the customer service was virtually non existent. They threw the entire situation back in our faces and basically blamed us for the issues. We were told we only had three options: we could pick out a new set, we could request a refund and pay a $300 restocking fee (for a couch that wasn't in stock in the first place!) or we could pay some tech $225 to disassemble our furniture and reassemble inside our apartment. When we asked to speak to a manager, we were told he was on lunch break and he would call us later on. Needless to say he never called us. This was on a Thursday. Saturday evening rolls around and we finally get a call from someone at Ashley Furniture. Is it a manager? Hell no it wasn't! It was a customer service rep looking to reschedule our delivery. We were out of town at a family retreat with my company and we told the rep to call back when they had a manager on the line. Sunday rolls around. My girlfriend and I both have missed calls from Ashley Furniture. Is it a manager? Nope! Customer service rep again! We arrive home from the weekend retreat and call back. All they keep asking us is when we want to reschedule the delivery for. We get passed around to different people reading off of notes from previous phone calls. We ask for a manager and they tell us a manager can call us back in two days. Two days? To discuss a delivery that was supposed to happen on Thursday, we need to wait until Tuesday to discuss the situation with a manager. Makes sense, right? We hang up and decide to call Cherry Hill store directly. We get a manager! We explain the situation and have to listen to him basically tell us it isn't his fault and he was not involved with any of the conversations. Great. We mention the turn radius issue and he tells me that they just came out with instructions on how to measure this. "Unfortunately," these were released AFTER we purchased the furniture. He tells us the best bet is to pay the money and get the furniture reassembled. We are told that "the tech puts the furniture together stronger than the manufacturer." Wait, what?? Long story short, this is a week later. We got the furniture delivered and the tech has been here for two hours putting the furniture together. Funny enough, the tech tells us our type of couch is manufactured with a faulty wooden brace that would eventually break had we not elected to get the furniture dissembled and reassembled and that Ashley Furniture is well aware of the issues. WHAT. IS. THIS. DO NOT DEAL WITH ASHLEY FURNITURE. THEY ARE TRASH.

Its nice and clean. The salespeople really pitch those warranties with every item that you are getting. Overall they were really helpful and so nice. I would definitely buy there again.

She saved me from my pit of despair after I found out that that particular couch was not for me. She greeted me and I explained my situation and she was able to escort me around to pieces that fit my requirements. Hi Charles here. I had went to Ashley furniture to buy couches and dining table. Had a budget in mind but only a couple thousand in cash but talking to a saleswoman she offered financing the rest which was a great idea when i went over my budget lol couches came yesterday which were awsome well made and great quality but the miss labeled one on delivery and still waiting on one piece but the icing on the cake was they are not sure when the table is going to arrive and we really didn't look at the final paperwork. She only charged us for one chair said the warehouse so who buys a large dining table with one chair i said. So look carefully at your paperwork because their trying to make us buy 3 more chairs ha ha ha i guess the jokes on us.. i told them they could pick up their stuff i don't want any it we'll see what happens when we go up their so i gave 2 stars for experience and customer service the delivery guys were great and quality of couches too.

Ashley has did a make over! I visited both the Cherry Hill and Deptford stores. The furniture arrangements is very pleasing to the eye. Very color coordinated. I was free to look around the store without a sales person trailimg me. I was very pleased with the new look and the employees I encountered.

Do not purchase anything from there, this particular store deserves to be closed down. I ordered a bed in February and it is almost April and I have yet to receive my order. They never follow up with you, and you have to call them. Also, if your unsatisfied with your services there's no refunds. DO NOT purchase anything from this store horrible service and customer service.
I had the worst experience with Ashley Furniture in Cherry Hill NJ. I ordered and paid for my bed in February I was told that the bed would be in the warehouse on March 4 and someone will be giving me a call once in the warehouse. March 4th came and went and I called on March 6th for them to tell me it will be in the warehouse on march 15th. Again someone will give you a call. No one called me I called the store and was told the bed was there and it will be delivered that Sunday. the bed was delivered but it was the incorrect bed. I called on Sunday to let them know and was told someone will give me a call to set up a time to deliver the correct bed the next day. NO CALL so I called the store and was told they can deliver the correct bed on Sunday. I will never deal with Ashley furniture again.

I paid for a couch almost a month ago on Feb 9th and it still hasn’t arrived as of March 8th Delivery was pushed back twice and no one even bothered to call me when it was delayed again for another week. I had to call them and ask where my couch was. We asked the sales person three times if it would be delivered February 23 which he said it absolutely would be. I now have no where for guests to sit on my birthday.

I purchased a table and a set of chairs for $1500 and bought a five year Warranty on top of that, and every year they have been giving me trouble. They became damaged quickly with very little use. Ashley told me they would refund my warranty but will do nothing to replace the furniture. Products are cheaply made and poor quality for the price. Be wary when buying that a warranty will not protect you at this company.
salesperson named Saif gave me and my dad an outstanding customer service. he went above and beyond to make sure we get what we want. we went around the store for 3hrs not knowing what we really want to get, but he was very understanding and continued to stay calm and helpful. We asked a favor if theres anyway we can get our furniture faster atleast some of the furnitures that are most important. everyday he gives me an update that he's still trying and he didnt forget about me even if we didnt get our furnitures yet, just by letting me know that everything is being handled and hes doing his best makes me feel satisfied and happy that we chose to buy our furniture at ashley's furniture because of him. he was also very friendly all the questions and concerns we had was answered. thank you!

Very nice furniture for those who can afford it and those who are working with a budget. Our sales associate Moulay was wonderful. He helped us from the time we walked in to the time we left. He helped work with our budget and if we needed him, we didn't have to look too far. He made us feel comfortable and didn't pressure us into buying anything which made our transactions go by that much smoother. We will definitely buy from Ashely again. We wanted to take the whole store but we was on a budget. We will definitely be shopping there in the future for other rooms in our home.

We already had seen on line the Ashley entertainment system we wanted as the centerpiece of our living room. Mulay was a great asset throughout our Ashley experience. He knew the inventory cold and was able to save us time and mileage in the showroom as we looked for complimentary furniture. He really listened to us and was able to direct us to items within our budget and right on point stylistically. He was patient and gave us all the space needed to debate the pros and cons of each item. Mulay was professional, attentive, knowledgeable and wonderfully personable. Run away, Don't walk from this place. Purchased a table that was scratched by a contractor. As the table comes with a 1 yr warranty. Called Ashley's 5 or 6 times and was met with rude customer service folks who informed me they had no record of my calls /inquiry. I was told a rep would call me back within 24 hours (which never happened). Finally, once a tech came to repair the scratch it was made worse and the tech put a new scratch in the table. All while complaining about the chemicals used on the table and to clean my floor. Spoke with Credit Card company and filled a dispute. As a new home owner I have several empty rooms and was going to purchase additional furniture from Ashley...but now never again. Lost a life long customer.
I love ASHLEY furniture! The décor and furniture are all beautiful and they are always running great discounted promos. 5 YEAR PROTECTION PLAN is a USELESS-- I have purchased a new couch from here 4 years back on a sale. The couch has completely lost its leather and in between I had to relocate to a different state. When I called back and raised a claim and they did approve the refund.But later they claimed they just carry the Ashley store for branding and I cannot get this refund in any other Ashley store. PLEASE keep in mind that this 5 Year protection plan is just for this store (based on my conversation ). I had to loose the couch /refund and this 5 year plan cost as well. Double loss for me. I had made close to 10 to 15 calls to them, but they asked me to check with Corporate office but there is no direct number to talk to someone in the corporate office. It is so disappointing for me to loose money in here. My best advice is DO NOT GO FOR THE PROTECTION PLAN. I even asked for 80% value of my money as GIFT Card and I have told them I will handover the couch to near by Ashley store or even donate it. They REFUSED. Finally I will donate the couch to some needy. End of the day, Corporate is a corporate. They dont care after your purchase is done. Thanks!!!!

Scam of a business . I purchased my bed set for my second room from here. This was my first and last time purchasing from here. Ordered the bedset utilization a promotion and found out that upon shipping that I didn't get the night stand. I was at their store for couple of hours and was tired as hell and my fault was I didn't check the final sheet. The sales guy screwed me and he pretended to have gotten me a deal of my life. After arguing over the phone with sales rep, he said their way nothing he could do and I had to purchase the night stands separately, there goes the promotions. Another $300 out of the pocket, I should have returned the furniture. Purchased warranty as well. Filed a claim after two years for scratches and was told that it is normal wear and tear and warranty doesn't cover it. I all current going back and forth with these people about this scam they are running. Where a sales guy promoted that I can call into warranty for minor things but they reject it. I'll not be purchasing Ashley Brand ever again.
Had a great shopping experience at Ashley Furniture!! We worked with Vicki. She was available to help answer questions on our browsing trip without hounding us and chasing us away. Today on our return trip- she quickly and efficiently helped us place our order- all while making us feel comfortable and at home.

AWFUL customer service. Will NEVER purchase here again! My fiancé and I had purchased several thousands of dollars worth of furniture. After a year and a half, the mattress had abnormal indentations so we called about this issue and they sent out someone to do an inspection. Within the report they noted that it was clearly a defective product they sold us. However, they denied the warranty and replacing the item because law tags were missing from the bed and the store itself would not get refunded by the manufacturer without this. How can you sell a defective product, note that it is defective and still DENY a claim? As a retailer - you should take accountability for products sold and take the loss if you want continued business and customer retention and satisfaction. Terrible business people! They are not part of Ashley Furniture Corporate (they are a franchise) so unfortunately corporate was unable to assist me. I've been sent in circles for months now between the different HQ offices, retail store and the direct manufacturer trying to resolve this issue. Very disappointed that a store can sell a defective product and choose not to replace it. I should also mention that I believe the tags were removed during delivery and installation - of which they also denied and told me that I should have called immediately to address that. What average consumer would notice that and become aware unless they actually had an issue with the product? The store manager and it's customer service department were no help at all. Will not recommend anyone to shop here.
In 2015 We bought an expensive 3 piece leather couch set with 5 year extended warranty. We have had to get the leather replaced twice as it turned out to be cheap crappy leather. The third time I called, I was told we’re not covering that as it’s animal damaged, I informed them I don’t even have animals and they all of a sudden we weren’t covered due to accumulating damage. The middle console is completely broken too (I guess it was the invisible dog we had). The customer service lady was beyond rude and truly didn’t care about my situation. I would NEVER buy from Ashley again. Now I have to go out and buy another couch set, less than 3 years after purchasing one from Ashley.

I came into Ashley HomeStore looking for a dining table. Janeen who was our sales associate was awesome. Great customer service and conversation. She was very helpful throughout the whole process. I definitely recommend her to anyone that is looking for furniture.
Great customer service. The only part is its taking over two weeka to get our couch. But thats not the actual stores fault so im still giving it 5 stars for letting me know in a promptly matter. The price was amazing and i used their synchrony bank credit so i dont have to put a big dent in my savings. I am 24 and on my 2nd apartment and getting rid of the hammy downs so i wanted something modern and durable. Also they have a cheap protection plan that replaces or fixes your couch for free even if its stains from kids, a loose leg, torn fabric or your dog pees

Great shopping experience. Went back a second time. Just the right amount help. They greet you and check in on you to see if you need help but don't overly pressure you like some furniture stores do. Nice variety of furniture as well.

I forgot how much I hate furniture stores until I walked into this place. I understand that much of your pay is commission based, but I also don't want you to follow me around trying to make small talk about the same things for 20 minutes. The salespeople are overeager and impatient.

Sales people are ok. Front desk is terrible. Made a purchase, cancelled it 2 days later - no one bothered to tell me that I needed to come in to get my money back. Had to call 4 times to get my order cancelled, because they want the sales guy to cancel it. Didn't get a confirmation that my order was cancelled, so called back to get that. Front desk staff told me I needed to come in to get my refund. If I didn't call to get a confirmation my $3500 order was cancelled, they would've just stolen my hard-earned money.

We ordered two couches and two tables. The store has continued to disappoint me with their lack of service. No one has ever called to confirm anything from the order to the delivery to the return. I had to go out of my way to call every single time, despite being told that one of their associates would be contacting me. In addition, I caught one of their sales associate lying to me multiple times and had to get the manager involved. The manager was nice and gave me a credit on my account since I had financed through them. Their furniture is nice but their awful customer service means I’m never shopping here again. Edited to add: We ended up returning the couches. We loved them, but unfortunately another couch we were planning on moving to a different room didn't work and we had to send them back. Trying to return them took about a week and a half (despite calling the day after only one couch was delivered) to return them. Once again, I was told that someone would call me to schedule a time to return the couch and no one ever called me. I called in the middle of the week and the next available time was the following weekend. I got my bill this month and I saw that they charged me for the protection plan for the couches (despite me returning the couches before I was even charged). I also never received the credit that the manager had promised. When I called billing to clarify this, they were agreeable to credit my account for the protection plan, but the manager who previously helped me refused to give me the $125 credit because I returned the couches (despite him never saying this was the stipulation). 12/9: I called a week and a half ago to sort out this refund. Despite being promised it would go through, no refund has been issued. I called the store to discuss this with them and spoke with a different associate who was not even aware of this refund that was supposed to go through.

Jose helped us pick out the perfect sectional. I was really picky and he was patient and searched the store for exactly what I wanted. He really made furniture shopping easy. He was also very customer-oriented and didn't push anything on us. He made us feel comfortable which helped us take our time and not feel pressured into buying anything. Not only that, but Jose has been so helpful with the delivery process as well! Whenever we called his phone, he was happy and eager to help. My pullout sofa arrived in the incorrect color and when i called Ashley to inquire about the delivery the saleswoman, Barbra, that helped me stated “oh, i didn’t even know they came in different colors” this item was needed for my father who was visiting for thanksgiving and now had no where to sleep, so he stayed in my bed and i on the couch, needless to say i demanded a full refund and they complied

I went to the Cherry Hill store to order furniture that I saw online. There was a professional sign in the store with exactly what I wanted. The sign even said "add rug for $69". I thought wonderful, I wanted that too. Then my salesperson started looking for it. He found the sofa, coffee table and even an end table that matched. The rug was not to be found. My salesperson asked another salesperson who walked by, where can he find it. The reply was "they discontinued that line." He meant even the furniture. There was a discussion about this and the guy was surprised he found the sofa in inventory. A manager passed by and said the sign should be for the stuff on the back of the poster and turned it around. I said they should put a note on the other side that it is not available. I was a little annoyed that this sale was old yet the sign was there. Plus the salespersons were confused too. Now I wonder if I'll get my sofa.

My husband and I are both seasoned, commission-only salespeople, so we know very well how to spot a sales pitch - we did not feel like we were being "sold" at any point during our time with Barbara! DO NOT PURHASE A WARRANTY. Its a total scam. We purchased a 5 year warranty and we can't even use it. Our dog peed on our couch and I tried to wash the cover to avoid using the warranty and it ripped while in the washer. They said because i washed it, it is not covered. Additionally, I wasn't going to mention this because I was originally happy with the service but after this experience, I figured i should mention it. When they delivered it, my husband was out of town, so it was just me. They couldn't get it through the door because of the angle so they had to go through my first floor window. Before they would bring it through the window, they told me it would cost an additional $150. I said "okay so that will just be added to my monthly payment." They said "no, we need $150 in cash now, or you can't have the couch today." I did not know what to do at the time, so i paid it. It seemed super shady.

****************ASHLEYS WARRANTY BEWARE************ My store experience was excellent no issues or complaints withe the sales clerks. Ive made a few separate purchases and all where great... However, I opted for insurance after much persuasion from sales person on my sofa and love seat...i have 3 little ones under the age of 5 and so after being asked if I had any Littles and being told I would really benefit just in the event something went wrong, it woukd truly be a piecea of mind for me...and so i opted for warranty, against my personal view on warranties of any sort. Of course about 1.5 year on my purchase sure enough my 2 year toddler got a hold of a pen and scribbled all over 3 of my 4 cushions....and also managed to climb on top and had a minor accident there's a bit of a stain also present. I called in to Ashley's warranty dept which is within their warehouse and she stated if they cant see stains they would be able to help me in any way. To which i resoonded you can definitely see stains, could she please send someone to take alook. She stated they would need proof and asked me to send pics...which I replied I wasn't sure how well they would reflect on the pics being that the cushion are dark colored and the ink was very dark and hard to see on cushions but I would do my best and email photos...... she then proceeded to tell me their method of cleaning ," would be just to spot spray the mark and wipe it with a cloth"...,. I thought hmmm strange what is it my concern what you do yo remove stain, thought it but say anything.....i replied OK and agreed to send pics over. Received call Sat afternoon to the wrong telephone number not the number specifically listed on email.... they proceeded to say that these things have to be reported Immediate to which I replied we did..they have now informed us they are not sending anyone out and where questioning in a unruly way how could all those ink marks happen in one instance and that they would not be able to assist in any kind of way because their dept that reviews these matters have made their decision. She proceeded to tell me this didn't seem right and I was asked specifically once again how this came about...i felt extremely offended as judging from her words she was right out saying she didn't see how this could happen, translation, almost felt like this was done purposely or something to that effect,,....*******horrible warranty service dept**** beware I would not recommend their warranty... I'm going to purchase cushions and take them to court...unheard of .....Horrible feeling

I've purchased two bedrooms, mattress/boxspring, and a family room set from this location on 3 different occasions. I really liked the service that I received from Bill. However he wasn't there this time and I had to work with someone else. I was purchasing a mattress only and he took a long time to process it then told me that the old mattress would be removed. However, the delivery men would not remove it bc they said that the rep did not indicate on the receipt/slip that the mattress should be removed so they would not take it. I immediately called Ashley furniture and spoke with someone and he said that he would get back to me but he never did. I was not impressed this time and the star rating is really based on my previous times working with Bill. I am unsure if I will return.

Don't even waste your time or money . They are Very rude if you have an issue they come out and ruin your bed even more and won't fix the problem they came for. So I have a few month old bed that's broken and makes obnoxious noises when getting in and out of bed or moving around in the middle of the night. I was told "it meets its standards ". When the tech came out he moved the mattress and ran it across the footboard so now the finish is warn off on both sides. Very upsetting

I hardly ever post reviews, but I feel like my experience needs to be herd. My boyfriend and I just moved to maple shade from Blackwood. Our old couch was unbearable to sit on. When we moved we decided to get a new one. We googled furniture stores and on our list we went to Mealey's, Macy's, and Ashley's. Ashley's was our last stop for no particular reason. We are so glad because it was like we saved the best for last. When we walked in we knew we weren't buying at the first visit. This was our first time buying furniture and we didn't want to rush into a poorly made couch. We did research on how to buy a couch. This was an investment for us, and with our growing family we needed something that would last. Upon entering the gallery we were overwhelmed because the gallery was so big. Right as we were about to leave Jan came up to us and asked if we needed help. With some hesitation we said yes. We knew we didn't want to buy right away, and we didn't want to be heckled into a purchase. We told Jan our story and our preferences. Jan was extremely conscious about the whole store. She sifted through all the junk and brought us to different couches in the store. The whole time she was nice, informative, caring, and understanding. She didn't pressure us into a decision. She even shared stories of her personal experiences in couch buying and some family stories. This was our first couch buying experience and it was the best experience because of Jan. I recently visited the Ashley Home store in Cherry Hill NJ. I had a hard time finding specific furniture that I wanted. John G, sales consultant for the store went beyond his way to satisfy my needs. I visited the store multiple times that week looking for what I wanted and no one else but John went above and beyond. His customer service was excellent and is a great role model for other salesperson.
Haven't bought here but selection is great and the sales staff are helpful without being overbearing.

Reasonable prices, friendly and helpful sales team (not pushy) and a wide selection of styles and colors to choose from ... the reason for the 2 stars (and it's not entirely the fault of the store, value city is the company that delivered) is when the items were delivered, as the guys were bringing the items into the house they damaged the metal surround of my front door and then gouged my wood floor in two places. When trying to make a claim or gather reimbursement for the damages I would keep getting the "I'll get back to you response" ... no help whatsoever from the store itself or the delivery compnay.

ZERO STARS NOT AN OPTION**** Ordered a new bed set from this store. Seemed to have no issues besides a long wait time for the one I wanted to be in stock. 3 weeks later the delivery drivers showed up right at 9am. The only issue was they had ordered the completely wrong bed set. Guess the salesman in the showroom doesn't know how to properly use a computer. Quickly rescheduled for another delivery two days later. Waited the entire day for my delivery. The phone rep informed me i could have a morning delivery since THEY screwed up. Instead i was LAST. Now I have officially wasted 2 days on this store and not at all satisfied with my product. Go anywhere else for furniture.
Sajib was the best sales associate. Took his time and helped answer all our questions. Helped me buy exactly what I needed. Will definitely come back and will definitely ask for Sajib again.

Terrible in every aspect. 45 salesman on the floor, so every 3 ft you have one of themy running up to you trying to sell sell sell. Then after purchasing... paid $80 for delivery. Told our delivery window was 10:30am - 1:30pm. 2:30pm Day of Delivery, had to call Ashley to get an update. I was told that my delivery guy hasn't checked in since he left store early this morning and they have no idea where he is. Transferred called to another representative who told me that driver was "at a standstill" at another stop (couldn't explain what a StandStill was) but they were sending a 2nd truck to get my furniture from 1st truck then deliver. They would call me within 15 mins with an updated ETA. 2 hours later... still waiting on that updated ETA AND my furniture. Entire Day wasted.

The only reason that I gave a 1 is because there is no way to give a zero or negative 100. Bought a sectional family room set and salesman Eric did not complete the correct order form resulting in the incorrect sectional style be delivered. Called the Cherry Hill store explaining that we received the incorrect set only to be told that the set we received is exactly what we wanted. Never did we look at this set when in the store. Fast forward to numerous calls not being answered or to be hung up on countless times. When we were finally able to get a manager to speak with us, he was also completely useless. Finally we were told via a receptionist that manager John stated the he would replace what we originally thought we ordered at no cost. Move forward several weeks, replacement set still not delivered. Called the store and other manager Avery informed us that we would need to pay several hundred dollars to receive to correct set. Eric, John, and Avery continue to state that we received the correct sectional set. This is complete outright lie and a cover up for their mistake. John even goes as far as saying that he didn't authorize the replacement set even though I have a confirmation number. I never seen such poor customer service and lack of managerial skills. This is the first time that I have ever taken the time to write a negative post about a vendor. Please be aware of what you may go through with these unprofessional salesman. For these individuals, the customer is not right and customer service is nonexistent.

I have been dealing with Danielle for the past three purchases I have made at the Ashley Furniture store in Cherry Hill. All I can say is "wonderful". She is responsive, patient and goes out of her way to ensure that I am happy and kept in the loop on deliveries. I will continue to shop at this particular location for all of my furniture needs. If you go to the store, please ask for Danielle. She is the absolute best.
This place is just an absolute disgrace! Be aware that it says ASHLEY FURNITURE but it is really Value City trash! After ordering, EVERYTHING had Value City on it, the furniture, paperwork and the delivery truck! They tore up my BRAND NEW DOOR, doorway and stairs. The delivery process was an absolute NIGHTMARE! All the bad reviews you see here are NOT a mistake! PLEASE GO ELSEWHERE! BY FAR, the WORST retail experience of my life! As if the buying process wasn't bad enough, it GOT WORSE TODAY! I got a crappy $75 gift certificate for all my trouble and went back to use it today! I ran into my original salesperson Danielle and got nothing but NASTY looks and an attitude! Her personality is as nasty as her looks! It took 15 MINUTES to check out with 1 thing using the gift certificate! AVOID AT ALL COST THIS PLACE! oh by the way......The sign says ASHLEY but when it shows it up its Value City Furniture! I kid you NOT! the truck, the tags and even the paperwork. Please do yourself a favor and don't buy from here. They roped me into 5 year service warranty which will service any repairs within US (Sales guy specifically mentioned you go anywhere and we will service your furniture). The customer service calls never go through and even after leaving voice message; no one calls back. Finally I managed to speak with some customer representative and he said we don't service items outside NJ area. Even though they have Ashley furniture stores all over US, they are owned by different entity and your 5 year warranty is basically waste of money! PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!

I don't like furniture shopping. Mostly because of the limited set options. I found great quality wood furniture for my living room at an affordable price and lots of options. I shopped on a Monday at 1:00pm. Frank helped me. He was patient, listened and showed me options to pieces belonging to a set that wasn't in store but in the warehouse. Walked in here looking for a specific style of furniture. Wasn't hounded or pushed. Just pointed in the direction and left to our own devices. Found what we wanted and didn't need to haggle just have us the lowest stocker price and tossed in free delivery. We also wanted to take an heater fireplace monster for a TV stand that had logs and switch out one with rocks. The staff did research made calls and came through. Will update depending on delivery. As for an update. We did check all of the nearby places but the quality and options don't compare. Checked Marley's Sears Macy's Bob's Furniture all don't compare. Worth a trip.

My girlfriend and I came into Ashley as existing customers just looking to price some beds for a future purchase. We walked in and started speaking with Jeff Chesler who helped us out with all of our questions, got us set up with some pillow upgrades, and a mattress protector and we walked out of the store with a Sunday delivery time. Jeff was a major help with the process and we couldn't be more satisfied with our experience!
When me and my boyfriend along with our 5 month old daughter walked in we were greeted by a woman name Sharon she was a lovely lady. Very helpful. We came just to look at furniture just for an idea on what we wanted. Sharon invited us back for a V.I.P special and at first I thought we weren't going to come back but my boyfriend decided that we come back. Next day we came back Sharon was so helpful very very helpful. Me and my boyfriend couldn't decide on what we wanted and she was so helpful she ended up showing us a bedroom set that we haven't seen before and we ended up getting it. I am definitely going back there.
We have been ashley customers for few years. My wife and I are happy with the bedroom furniture that was delivered on Saturday. The staff was excellent and our Sales Rep. Bill was knowledgeable and helpful.The delivery went smooth so all in all, it was a great experience.
We bought a sofa from the cherry hill clearance room. After 59 days it broke and we are putting it out to trash tonight. The manager said that's life, we took a chance on clearance and it didn't work out. I guess he's right, although I won't be shopping at Ashley ever again.
I purchased a sofa and chair one June 4th and was told that both items would have to be ordered and that after 10 business days, I would be contacted to schedule delivery. After three weeks, they never called, so I called them to check on the status. The salesperson informed me that he "was just about to call me" (yeah right buddy) and that June 29th was the soonest available delivery date. So I agreed. Then, on June 29th, I was informed there was an issue with the sofa, so the delivery had to be delayed until July 2nd (today). At 1200 I called for an estimated delivery time and was informed that the delivery was not scheduled for today. The person I spoke with on the phone was completely unapologetic and informed me that my salesperson "would call me." I am cancelling the order. This store is undeserving of even a single star.
When we came into Ashley's on Sunday Danielle was there to greet us and immediately help us with what we were looking for. She really listened to what I wanted and showed me the perfect table I had in my mind that other stores did not carry. We were able to get in and get out so quickly with the help of Danielle and we can't wait to get our new table in a few weeks. Thank you Danielle for being so helpful, friendly and professional and we look forward to working with you when we comeback.
I would put 0 if that was an option. I tried ordering furniture from here. I came in 3 times and worked with 2 different associates. I called 4 days in a row when I decided to get the pieces and got the run around. Finally I spoke to a manager who was very rude. This is the worst salesmanship I've ever seen. And the only reason I called the same place was just to make sure the sales assoc that helped me would get their commission. Finally I ordered with a different Ashley location which matched their price.
I purchase the warranty that will, "cover everything". I am still waiting 55+ days for a response from the company for service on my furniture.

We should have read the reviews first. We've been since June trying to get something fixed on our NEW furniture (it arrived broken apparently). They don't fix addresses in their system; they don't follow detailed instructions; they send parts, don't tell you where they were sent and say the part was undeliverable but don't tell their customers that. I therefore adjusted my schedule today to wait for service (who came without calling an hour ahead as they promised) only to tell me it can't be fixed because there's no part. If I treated clients this way, I would have been fired. Apparently they are linked to Value City who seems to be the culprit. Their tech was very nice but is at the mercy of their poor management. This company needs to be called to task. The furniture certainly was not free or cheap!!!!
Agree completely with the review below. Avoid this place at all costs. They simply reuse to honor their "No Worry" guarantee. After arguing with their customer service department and emailing them photos of the damaged furniture they still refused to do anything about it. I even offered to buy the broken piece and replace it myself, however that was also not an option. Apparently the only choice I had was to re-buy the entire 1200.00 piece of furniture from them, which is absolutely absurd. I have already filed a complaint with the better business bureau and will be filing a lawsuit if need be to get my furniture either repaired or replaced. I also wont even go into the fact that this place has extremely shady selling tactics, worse than a used car lot even. They lied and told me my furniture was 100% real wood when in fact it was just cheap Ikea grade particle board. I would advise anyone to avoid this place at all costs. There are so many other options when it comes to furniture in this area why waste time with the scum of the earth that are employed by Ashley Furniture.
Worst experience ever!! My husband returned from being overseas and we decided to treat ourselves and buy new furniture.. We went into the store and spent 1 & 1/2 hours deciding on what we wanted.. We picked out a dining roon table, 6 chairs, a sofa, loveseat, and a recliner. The furniture was delivered to us 2 weeks later. Upon examining the furniture we discovered a large hole in the sofa and the dining room table was damaged. We called and were told that a repair kit would be sent and that they would schedule a repair after we received the kit. 2 weeks went by and no kit was received, we called back and were told the kit should be arriving soon. Another 2 weeks went by and we called again and were told that a kit had not been ordered and they didn't know if it could be ordered because the furniture had been discontinued right after we purchased it. We went back into the store and spent another 1 & 1/2 hours picking out something different. 3 weeks later the furniture was delivered and after examining it again we found another hole in the sofa. Now it has been another month and we are still waiting for the new furniture to be delivered. 4 months total and we still do not have new undamaged furniture.. Stay away from Ashley Furniture!!!!
