The salesperson needs to tell customers to buy a mattress cover when they purchase one. My experience was awful. I bought a sofa and paid extra for the protection plan. A repair tech came out in September and said parts needed to be ordered. It is now mid-December, and nothing has been fixed despite repeated calls and follow-ups. Instead of repairing or replacing the sofa, Ashley tried to refund the insurance, claiming the sofa is no longer made. That is unacceptable. I did not pay for insurance to be ignored after months of delays. I have also been waiting over three weeks for a manager to contact me, and no one has bothered to follow up. Poor communication, zero accountability, and no resolution. I would not recommend Ashley Furniture.

For mattress shopping, their selection was great and Vicky was a wonder to work with. Setting up the purchase and delivery was very simple. My only complaint was that when we asked if our mattress was an actual mattress or one that arrived in a roll and needed time to set, we were told it was a full mattress but it arrived in a roll and needed 24-72 hours to set come to shape. Luckily we had an earlier delivery so it came up a lot the first day but it took all 72 hours to get a comfortable nights sleep. Wouldve been nice to know ahead so that we could've kept our old mattress while it set.
