When taking my granddaughter to Funzilla in Delran NJ I happened upon an Ashley furniture store. I’m so happy that I decided to pop inside and have a look around as I am trying to furnish an entire apartment. I was greeted from the door to feel welcomed. I like that after the greeting, I was allowed to walk around the store without the sales person following me, however, I like the fact that he was always available when I had a question. He was very professional and yet very friendly. Of course the store was clean and inviting. I was able to look around on my own to see what I like and to make my purchases, in other words get in and get out. Ashley furniture store is my go to store now when searching for not only large furniture items. I’ll be back for lamps, pictures and other accessories that makes your living space complete. I bought a dining table with four chairs and a bench. The delivery was scheduled for Friday, June 14, 2024, between 8 AM and 11 AM, but they arrived 50 minutes late without the courtesy of calling to inform me of the delay. I left for work at 11 AM, and my son received the delivery. When I came home that night, I noticed that the chairs were light brown while the table and bench were dark brown. Whereas I had purchased the set in light brown. The very next day, I visited the store to complain about the issue. They asked me to contact Ashley's main number. As per their request, I submitted several pictures to show the color difference, but they refuse to acknowledge that there is an error. I now have to visit the store again, and I am still going back and forth to resolve the issue. It's been a frustrating experience.

I went to this store to purchase two recliners-one was on sale with the Scratch Off Card program, the other was regular price. One recliner with Scratch Off deal was $449. After the scratch Off, I received the No Sales Tax Discount which reduced the price to $421. The clerk was a trainee who did her best but she needed help a few times. They wanted to do two separate transactions which was fine. On the above transaction, delivery was $69. So after adding up everything-the $449 minus $31 (sales tax) plus the $69-the price would be $487. However, after the trainee asked Aaron for help, the total was $523. When I asked for an explanation I was told they had to tax the delivery fee which is fine but should have been $4.90 not $36. Again, I asked for an explanation and I was told they had to charge tax on the item even though I had a No Sales Tax discount. Now, maybe I just didn't understand but they either couldn't or wouldn't provide an acceptable explanantion. In fact, one of them had a condesending attitude towards me. I finally said that this wasn't worth it and walked away with nothing but aggravation. So very poor customer service was given and I don't think I'll be back. I appreciate the response-please tell where to text or who to call. Please tell me who to call or text................

My only request would be for the weight capacity ratingd for furniture to be a standard part of the information available. I am a X4 returning customer to Ashley Furniture ( different location). The quality of the furniture is much better than most competitors in the area.

They told me that in a week if I didn't get a call, to call the Ashley store. I did not receive any calls after 3 weeks, and I went to the Ashley store, but they told me that the sofa was not in the store and that they did not know anything about what was happening, and that they could not communicate with the warehouse because they have no communication with them. They told me to wait another week to see if they received information; But I let 2 weeks pass and no information I received, no call. So I decided to go to the Ashley store for my money back. And there a representative told me: ahhh the sofa is here in the store, you will have it in 7 days, then the manager told me: you can have it in 2 days and then the same young lady representative said: it can take you to receive it up to 6 months and I told her What???? I want my money back, I see that your words are not sure or concrete. It hurts me, as Ashley has the best quality in products, but the worst service of any store. Sincerely, Rosa ilia Montañez

Went in looking for sectionals and kids bed. I was pleasantly greeted by Shante at the Delran location. She let us browse on our own and checked on us as needed. She wasn't pushy either. She provided printouts of our favorite items before leaving as well. I would definitely recommend her seeing her if you are looking for furniture!!!

I purchased a living room set back in late July at the local store in Delran and it was a super easy, no pressure situation. The staff was very attentive and helpful. I was just there again recently to browse and brainstorm and the staff was once again very attentive and helpful.

My experience was very pleasant, considering I just came from a workout adjacent to Ashley's Establishment. I was Greeted with a Courteous smile, along with Professionalism from a beautiful female named Niemah. She was able to assist me with all the questions and concerns that I had towards a dresser that I was inquiring about for my daughter who lives in North Carolina. If this particular store was able to ship there, I would have purchased on site, I would refer my friends & family to stop by and get a wonderful experience like I witnessed.

Ordered furniture in Feb. 2022 was told it would be in by beginning of April. Every month I have to call them and see if it is on schedule- every time they tell me no, and they give me a date for another month away that it will be here. Still waiting, end of July.

Staff maybe great but of course , they want the sale. We paid for a dining room table OCTOBER 2021 and as of today March 1st the furniture has not been delivered. In order to find out any information on the table we have to keep calling for updates. Last update I was guaranteed delivery first week January, then February now March and now TODAY they are “ not sure.” Worst part they already delivered the chairs (November) and won’t take them back

Extremely impressed with the Ashley home store on route 130. Staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the products they’re carrying. Aaron and Katie went above and beyond to help my girlfriend and I pick several sets to move into our new place. Bill was very attentive and informative as soon as me and my wife walked in. The store was super flexible with financing given the supply shortages they have. We have to wait about 90-120 to get our complete order, but in the meantime if a better prices comes up they'll price match. And if we change our mind on anything they'll swap or cancel anything in our order. The 5 year 0% interest financing can't be beat.
Walked in and was helped by Aaron. Needed a new bedroom set with all the trimmings for my 3 year old son. Was in and out in less than an hour and super happy.

Placed an order my sales associate told us everything would come this Saturday except our bedroom set would be delayed…which that would have been fine…except he did not mention that our sofas would also be delayed he said over and over the only thing that was delayed was one part of our bedroom set which would delay the whole thing…nothing about our sofas being delayed…then I call and they say there was a miscommunication and there’s nothing they can do. Nothing I hate more than a company or it’s employees lying to you.

I was able to quickly make a decision of which sectional would work best for my family and even got to examine options on a large screened kiosk. Couldn’t have bad a better home buying experience than at the Delran Ashley. We were greeted promptly with such a welcoming air. We went the the Maple Shade location earlier in the day and didn’t wnd up purchasing there because i just wasn’t sure enough. The help provided was wonderful at delran for us to feel confident in making decisions about the furniture we were looking for. We had come in with the intention to purchase a dining room set. I had also been wanting a bedroom set but couldn’t quite find just what I was looking for. I was guided through what they has to offer and when the frame I liked wasn’t in store so I could see fabric, Our sales person was able to find me a couch which has a similar feel and color. I was interested in pairing it with a white dresser they had on the floor but was guided to another set that would complement the bedframe I was interested in. Stellar customer service and knowing their product enough to make sure when I finally receive my furniture im not disappointed with the pairing. Im very excited for our upcoming move and even more now for our furniture to arrive so I can see it all together.

We needed new couches and had somewhat of an idea what we were looking for style and color wise. Sales associate Margret asked us questions about our decor at home, size and preferences and she found us the PERFECT set of couches that we absolutely love. She was very knowledgeable and fun to work with. I went in there expecting to spend 3 hours and "settle" on a set that would be "close enough" to what we wanted. How silly of me. With Margret's help we found EXACTLY what we wanted, got all the paperwork squared away, and we were out the door within an hour. Now THATS how to you do it! I had a really great experience shopping at Ashley furniture in Delran. When I first entered the store, I was immediately greeted by by a a very welcoming voice. Bill Warner the guest service member they worked with me, made my shopping experience easy. Bill listened to why I was shopping and he didn’t waste a minute with showing me the items I came to see. He valued my time and was tuned in to what space I needed to furnish. Bill helped narrow my choices down to exactly what I needed. I didn’t experience a bit of stress. He is very knowledgeable about all the products. He gave me the space I needed to talk over some of my options with my family. Most of all, Bill is extremely nice, calm yet he walks you around showing many displayed options, he has a positive attitude, overall great demeanor. Most importantly, he delivered! This the ONLY furniture store with furniture in stock and can be delivered in a few days! And it’s really nice furniture, just like Bill the NICE furniture guy!

Mattina was super patient with me as I explained the life circumstances and the layout off the room to upgrade. She explained how to arrange the room and how to accent different portions of the oddly shaped living room of mine. We used the measurements of the Alesandra - Parchment selection to specify where each one could fit into the room and what combinations should be or could be used. Mattina and her associates that helped really thought outside the box to help explain interior design to me, who doesn’t even know where to start. Highly recommend. Even for a visit to get yourself thinking about what you can do with the spaces in and out of your house.

The Delran store lied to me as to why the johnelle extension table was sold in the store as $539.99 for the table “top” & $250 for base of the table. I asked why is it sold separately she said that is just how ashleys sells this specific table. Then gave me a story about a customer buying it on wayfair and not realizing it was sold separately. I went home and did my research and realized she lied to me. The johnelle table is an ashley exclusive table and they do not sell it at wayfair. And if you buy it on ashleys online it only cost $539. And it is not sold separately!

Well we ordered a sectional back in October 2020 . We were told that it would come in about 8 weeks. Here we are 4 months later and we still don’t have the sectional or any update when it should come in . If you are given an ETA what it really means is -We Have No Idea ! Don’t bother ordering anything it’s a big waste of time .

I do not recommend buying at Delran Ashley Homestore. Furniture is nice, but if you have any issues, customer service/claims department provides ZERO help. Furniture was delivered ripped, they had someone sent out to look at the furniture. They said they couldn't fix it. 3 months later, still have damaged furniture, they do not want to replace the furniture, instead I am waiting on a piece to replace the damaged portion of my furniture. They have no tracking information and they have no idea when the piece will be shipped. Worst experience dealing with this company.
I went into the Delran, NJ store to make a purchase. I was greeted quickly & the sales woman placed my order & my item is scheduled for delivery this week.
Kaila at Ashley’s in Delran NJ was awesome to work with. She answered all of my questions and was able to price match the dining room set i ordered. Can’t wait for my new set to arrive! Well after waiting well over 4 months the set arrived 3 different times with issues such as huge gashes in the tabletop. After the 4th time i just kept the table they originally offered money off but never followed through and we never received a thing. The table would be gorgeous if it wasn’t damaged. Paid a lot of money and really disappointed in Ashley’s customer service as a whole. Never again will i purchase another thing from them.

Ordered furniture in august and was told it would all be in within 4-6 weeks. It is now the middle of December and we are still waiting. Customer service was absolutely no help at all. Not getting any discount for their mistake. Basically said “You will get it when you get it”. Beware of ordering from this place. Better off going somewhere else.

My fiance and I went to this furniture store and immediately we found something we liked but the staff in this store would not come over and help us out. My fiance just retired from the millitary and only wanted to find something he could sit back and enjoy. The staff just didnt want to help. All one lady said to us as we left was goodbye and never asked if we found anything we liked

I placed an order at the beginning of June for a sofa set and paid in full. I was told 3-4 weeks turn around time due to COVID. Ok, No problem. I understanding the situation. And everything is not back to normal. Then they call me back 2 days before the date they were supposed to receive delivery our furniture in June and we are told that because of everything it's being pushed back to no later than August 15th. And would provide us with a gift card they don't know the amount yet. But will give us something for our troubles. Again being understanding because of the situation, but mind you, we have no furniture in our house. Now it is August 7th we decided to call to confirm we would be receiving a call for delivery before the 15th. We were told that it was pushed back till the end of SEPTEMBER Maybe. And that the manager would give us a call today to discuss it (Still no call). I am so unhappy and honestly becoming upset. I am trying to be understanding but 3 MONTHS is crazy. And this still isn't guaranteed. I have a home with no furniture. I can't even sit down. I have children who start school and nowhere to sit. And now to try to offer me a refund is even more upsetting because I will be back in the same boat with another company. If they knew they didn't have the furniture then why sell it? Why are they currently opened taking people's money? Making them pay in full?

Do not buy anything from this store! You can not talk to a live person. I paid extra for home delivery...only 2 pieces came via home delivery...the others via UPS and they came damaged. Queen bed and nightstand damaged...box damaged...missing parts. I have tried to contact someone since May 6th. I keep getting a record to leave a message and someone will return my call within 72 hours. I mailed with pictures...nothing. Now I have a queen bed and nightstand damaged. Stay away!
I ordered a bunk bed about 3 weeks ago. Never received a confirmation and can not get ANYONE on the phone. I know there a pandemic going on but not to able able to get someone on the phone is ridiculous. Will NEVER order from them again. If this order went through I'm canceling and ordering from someone else. Horrible customer service!

If it werent for our sales woman I would probably give this review less stars. Amanda in the Delran, NJ location is AMAZING and one of the most patient people I have met. After spending about 3+ hours in the store with 2 kids picking out bedroom and living room furniture she answered every question, was not pushy and never gave up on us or got one bit annoyed. (I was getting annoyed with myself, lol!) Now onto the delivery process..... that experience was not as pleasurable. What was supposed to be 3-5 weeks max, turned into almost 8 weeks but luckily we had the best saleswoman and she always kept in touch with us and did everything she could to help speed up the process. I will also say that the furniture is great and worked well for the spaces we needed. Overall I am happy we decided to wait it out since we were close to cancelling the order due to the delay. If you're in the area and decide to use Ashley Furniture make sure you ask for Amanda Brown.
This is a great location all the sraff are friendly and helpful. Margaret was the person who worked with me and I am so pleased. She was very patient and understanding. She understood what I was looking for and help me pick out great pieces. She was very friendly and I am very please with this store.This is a great place to purchase your furniture.
Our sales representative, Matt Edwards, is extremely helpful and patient. Even though we ultimately would not be buying from the store he works at, he still spent over an hour going over furniture with us, trying to find the best pieces for our needs. He is a wealth of charm, personality and knowledge and we would recommend him to anyone going to the Ashley's Furniture store in Delran, NJ.
I bought a recliner for my 92-year-old grandmother and when it arrived it was too big for her and she wanted to get something else. I was told that we could not return the piece of furniture and I will just have to eat the $800 that I spent on it. This place is a disgrace. Do not buy your furniture here.

My sales rep’s name was Aaron in the Delran, NJ store on Rt 130 S. Aaron did a wonderful job helping me with my purchase. I’m not the type of shopper who wants the rep to be right next to me the entire time I’m shopping especially since I had my mom there and we were having a conversation. But I also don’t want to have to go searching the entire store to look for the rep either. Aaron did a wonderful job keeping the right amount of distance I needed. He was near by but not crowding me. He could hear when I had a question and was ready to answer, but he left me and and my mom to our shopping. Which was great! He was personable and very friendly. He was knowledgeable and professional. This allowed me to get exactly what I wanted and without that feeling of being pressured by a sales person. I would shop there again and ask for Aaron to assist me. Great job!

If I could give it negative stars I would do so. Our sales rep "tiara" lied to us from the beginning of the process. When I questioned about the delivery times and days I was told, that they deliver in the weekends and I should be receiving a call within 48 hours to step up a date and time for delivery. I placed the order for my furniture on October 27, 2019 on my way home while looking over the paper work she put on my form a delivery day of January 20, 2020; we immediately when back tot he store. I had to speak with the store manager about my furniture and had to get the date changed. Like really who waits almost 3 1/2 months for furniture. About 3 days later I received a call from Ashley's stating only one portion of the sectional would able to be delivered and I would have to wait u til January 20, 2020 to received the rest. I went in to cancel my order the next day and all of sudden they Said the entire couch is in. I would never again shop at this place or any of the other locations.

Don't go here if you want your stuff now. I purchased my bed over a month ago. I was told they had it in stock when I was in the show room. Apparently that wasn't true and then I was told it would be in on the 18th (3 weeks later). 18th comes and goes with no call. The 26th I finally get a call to set up delivery time. I sit with the phone ringing abnormally long when I call back. The. I am told that they don't have set times for delivery. You pick a day and they call the day before with a 4 hour time frame. How am I supposed to plan? I was told in the show room that I could get it delivered after I was done work now that's not possible? Am I supposed to take an entire day off last minute to have something delivered a month after I buy it? They also said it was free delivery but charged me $50 for UPDATE:Bed was finally delivered and quickly built. However they built the booklet for the bed into the headboard and it is stuck. They refuse to send someone out to fix it. Spent 20 minutes on hold the first time. 12 minutes on hold the second. They just tell me "I'll look into it". I am going to the store tomorrow and if it will not be fixed I will be returning the item. Updating to 1 star.
I thought I that they had the best furniture. I was so excited to buy my kids bunk beds and a dinette set from them. Believe me when I tell you it has been the worst purchase I've ever made. They sell you on buying extra coverage, and tell you it will cover any damages that may happen, but I found out that's a lie, and they make up all kinds of excuses to not honor the contract. The bunk beds are falling apart and all they can say is children shouldn't play on them oblivious they don't have kids. So anyone who thinking about buying any thing beds for your kid I hope they just use them for sleeping like all kids do (not)
I had the guardsman insurance on my furniture which I bought at the end of March of this year. I had them out to replace two arm cushions on the couch and before they came out to do the replacements both my sons play football and wear cleats well from them rubbing and kicking back there foot it made a small hole on the bottom of my couch and the ladySaid the tech would look at it. He looked at it when he was here and said they would order a new base and call me when it's in. So I assumed ok I'll hear from them he said within 5 days. Well over two weeks went by nothing!! I called again still nothing!! And I just called on wed aug 7 and the girl said the tech said it was animal damage and because he's experienced they aren't going to fix it. I said to her I want to speak to a manager because he's not god he wasn't here and why would he tell me they would fix it and here from them within 5 days than? The girl said a manager would call that day no call bad customer service all over. I bought insurance basically on a couch that they get to pick and decide whether they feel it's coverable or not over. What happened to my warranty on the couch. What happened to customer service? I am the one who spent 1700 on two couches which might I add u didn't have in stock on a major sale!! And had to wait a week for the loveseat. I am moving In April and will need a bedroom set doU really think I want to buy again with how the follow up and customer service is here? Manager that was on the phone before when my loveseat hadTo be delivered was so smart he thought he was only right and no accommodating the customer only himself! Rude... Work in the area will for sure tell my customers and co workers no to buy he As a courtesy Ashley's manager at the store ordered my new piece of furniture and will be repairing the piece. Jesus. In the world of customer service this place doesn't seem to understand it exists, apply it in any form to customers or offer to make things right when pointed out it is wrong. Punch line - get your furniture and your customer support elsewhere. When you buy furniture you expect it to last several years. But just in case I bought the warranty on my sofa. Just over 1 year old and the sofa wood was so deformed and warped that springs broke and now I'm told not to sit on it. Let's get over the fact that a new sofa broke. Things happen, things break. The warranty technically covers it. Fine. It took weeks to get someone out to look at my sofa. It was so badly damaged that he said he will need to come back and told me not to sit on it. Then after following up for several days Ashley Furniture and their repair service provider are pointing fingers at each other with paperwork issues. Now the repair services place can book their second visit but it'll take another 2 weeks for someone to come out. I tried to ask to speak with a a manager at both the repair service AND Ashley furniture but was denied. Ultimately they told me they can't do anything for me but to confirm the booking 2 weeks from today. Meaning I have a sofa I can't use for 1.5 months. Take your money to a place that will give you good products up front but more importantly take care of you if something goes wrong.
The absolute worst! Wish u could give zero starts. Bought a couch in January of this year. The couch broke 3 times already and they are fighting me to fix it again. The cheapest furniture ever and they do not care that they are selling low quality products. I am so tired of going back and forth with them. End of the line was when my parents were sitting on the couch with my infant son and the couch fell through. Again this couch was fixed 3 times before that and is only 6 months old.
I ordered a couch in store and was told I would be able to fit it through my door. I measured my entryway to be sure and called the store with the information. I never received a call back. They got to my house 1.5 hours after the scheduled delivery window (which they never called to tell me, by the way--I had to call myself, twice after seeing they had still not arrived) and then said they could NOT fit the couch through the door. Then they said I could pay over 200 dollars for them to disassemble the couch and deliver it in TWO WEEKS. Horrendous service. If you actually want to receive the couch you picked out, this is NOT the furniture store for you.
They make the Worstttt furniture. Never buying here again. I am starting to have back problems. I have had the sectional for close to a year and you can still not sit or lay down on it, it feels like sitting on cement or hardwood floor. I do not know how they make furniture. Your bones will hurt even if you are young and have no back problems. This brand is the worst. I need to throw this out and buy something else at Raymour & Flanigan before my back gets worse and I sue Ashley. Do not make the same mistake that I did. Ashley, you should give me my money back and get this back which you claim is furniture. Either there is a defect or you cannot make furniture. One side of the sectional is higher and the other is lower, they are not even, and the higher one is the worse piece. Waited for months for this to become somewhat softer but it is the same as we first bought it. Please send this to management and respond to me.
