We came to Ashley for furniture for our new home. The store was huge and clean. Everyone who worked there was so nice & helpful. Maryann spent hours with us. She was so kind, knowledgeable, honest and patient! We will return to Ashley for future purchases!
I cannot stress enough how unhappy I am with this company. We recently bought a house and went to Ashley to buy a couch, dinner table and chairs. Left with a decent deal and a promised delivery of all the items three weeks later. On delivery day, only the table arrived. After talking to customer service and driving to the location of purchase, the only response I get is, "somebody screwed up in the warehouse." No effort to try and get it delivered that day, the next day or day after that. One week wait to get the other items delivered because all the trucks are "booked" until then. Oh! And somebody has still yet to reach out and give us compensation for the error of some incompetent person in the warehouse. This company does not care about its customers. I will not stop letting people know on here and everywhere else how bad this company is to deal with.
The process was flawless and the associates were great at getting everything we needed. We have a few pieces left to deliver, but sure everything will go smoothly.
Linda is my sales representative. She made sure I got the merchandise I wanted. She is pleasant and polite. Made sure I received help in putting my product in my car. Linda stayed with me from the time I walked in until the time I left. She made sure I was satisfied and pleased before I pulled away. Linda is an awesome sales lady!

Erin pursued the client! I appreciate her for that. I was in a rush. I have a delivery coming on Tuesday and no mattress. She sprung right into action and took care of me. She added on the protection cover so I can protect my investment and made sure it was included with my Tuesday shipment!!!! She even had me scan her QR code so I can come back and shop w her! I am in retail and take in client service . She lived up to my expectations. And they’re aren’t easy! ☺️Thank you so much Erin!!

Worst furniture ever purchased! The store even refuses to help with anything after 72 hours! Less than a year old, went to put sofa cushion cover in washing machine and discovered how 1 of 2 cushions were extremely dirty. One was black from the dust/dirt and filled with wood chips, obvious filth from a warehouse, not from someone’s home. Unbelievable how they could sell furniture in that condition and not even do anything for us! Note to self, inspect furniture inside & out at the time of delivery. Based on their customer service and quality of product, I cannot give more than 1 star!

Shawn is the best !! He got me everything I needed for my new house!! I went to Raymor & Flannigan first and they only had the furniture I wanted online and were much more expensive. I went to Ashley Furniture after and my set was in the window! I was so excited to see it in person! Ashely furniture has a beautiful selection of furniture and their employees are super friendly and welcoming. Definitely will be coming back to purchase more furniture in the future.

Just recently went to Ashley’s to order new bedroom furniture and was so appreciative to have our salesperson Linda! She really helped with what worked for us, and the furniture is also beautiful and inexpensive which was also great. Will definitely be purchasing from Ashley’s again in the future.

Another Ashley furniture moment. I don't know why I keep buying from them just for continuous disappointment. I was promised a mattress delivery tomorrow and now it's Thursday. My first purchase was bedroom furniture and the complete wrong set was delivered and I had to yet wait again. Over promise and under deliver. I still have not received a call back as promised last evening.

Everything was great until I find out that I need to wait 3-4 weeks for delivery. I should stopped the order and go some place else but the people in the store were very nice and Is not their fault, so I didn’t it. I can’t understand why so long. I know other places deliver right away.
My experience was wonderful from the beginning to the end. Allen met me as soon as I walked in and helped me purchase the best pull out sofa I’ve found after visiting 3 other major furniture stores on Route 35. I concluded my choice with meeting the nicest finance department. When I get a new home , they will be my choice to furnish it.
Walked in the store and was greeted by many associates. I walked around a few minutes then a sales associate introduced herself. She let us look then helped us with sale prices. She was very helpful and didn't harass us.We had great service.
Good furniture and lots of options. Can be pricey
My 8 month pregnant wife and I RAN from this location after being constantly pestered by an older saleswoman with glasses. After following us around the store for nearly an hour, remarking on every couch we sat on to try, she didn't take the hint that we were just looking. We found a couch we loved at this store and planned on making a purchase. The woman told me that the price would be $900 and change for the sofa. I found the same sofa in a store in the same state about an hour away for $50 less. She told me they would not honor that price. Fine. I made her aware that we are one month from giving birth to our first child and that every cent counts and I would try my luck at the other store. She walks away to her coworker within earshot and has a rude conversation with him out loud about how dumb we are to think we could get the sofa elsewhere for less, and how we were foolish to think the store would have the sofa in stock, and how silly it was to think we could save a few bucks. My wife, again, 8 months pregnant heard the whole thing and got up, incredibly uncomfortable, and said "we're out of here." Never in my life have I been blatantly talked about in such a negative way within earshot. We would have bought the sofa right then and there if this woman hadn't been so rude. Customer service is key to make a sale. Sad.
Last experience was awful, sales man had horrible attitude, they tried to switch out chair we actually bought and then blamed it on us. I highly do not recommend this store
Bought a Sofa from Ashely, but while the sales service was good. the product is CRAP. Sofa basically broke down in less than a month, has 0 support, and the cushions are degraded. Reached out and had a conversation with a representative, who emailed me to send photos , which i promptly did. And i never heard back. have called and followed up and have only gotten silence.
Stopped in to look for a couch with very specific length restrictions. It's been very difficult to find something to fit in the limited space I am working with. Linda greeted me as soon as we got to the store and showed me a few options that would work, and she helped me find a nice couch for a great price! I really appreciated that Linda was not overly pushy and didn't give obnoxious salesman vibes. I was also very surprised to learn that she was a new employee at the store, as she was extremely knowledgeable!

I found something I like at Ashley and was willing to give them a shot. I had heard from several people that the quality is poor and that they give unrealistic timelines for delivery. This includes former sales people for Ashley. My sales person said that Ashley had gone and changed everything to better support the furniture with some trampoline material. Cool, that solved that problem. The timeline for delivery was about 2 weeks out which wasn’t ideal, but could be worse. I figured I would give them a chance and if what I heard was true, then I’ll just cancel the order. The sales girl told me my furniture would hit their warehouse by today and they would schedule a delivery for likely 5/8. She even looked it up in front of me and proved it was scheduled. When I called today to confirm it was delivered to the warehouse, I was told that only ONE of the 7 pieces I ordered arrived. I am now looking elsewhere. If this situation isn’t remedied before I find something else, then I will be canceling the full order. If this was incorrect information or they offer a solid remedy, then I will change my review. Until then I will leave as-is. Very disappointing.

Spent the whole day looking for the perfect couch and at the point I got Ashley I was already tired and not very hopeful. Monae met us at the door and she was nothing but EXCEPTIONAL. She took so much time to walk us through the whole store, show us different things based on what we wanted and got us the best price 10/10 recommend!

My husband and I went into Ashley Furniture today and was created by Dwight with a big smile on his face. We went in to "casually look" for a new bed for my son. As we walked thru the conversation was great. We ended up buying an entire bedroom set and a new sofa and ottoman for our living room. Honestly we would've bought everything bc Dwight was so great. I had the opportunity to be assisted by one of the most pleasant sales associates in life. I have yet to complete my order but I meet a young man,Dwight Sutton. I came up with an ideas to fully furnish my entire down stairs area. I sent Mr . Sutton a few pictures and told him what I wanted to do. Some way somehow Mr. Sutton was able to help me come up with a better solution to get everything I wanted and also talked about buying complete bedroom suite. I had a budget in mind but after he helped me rearrange a few things I was now able to fit in furniture for 2 additional room. I visited a few other Ashley’s store and never had this experience. Mr. Sutton is very patient and made this experience one of my best. I know if I was talking to someone for over 3 hrs and not spend anymore I would run the next time I seen me coming. The fact that he came up with a better solution for me and was able to get me to spend over my budget, that was amazing. I have yet to make my purchase but the fact that he never lost his cool didn’t skip a beat in my stressful moment is what counts. I guess it’s safe to say he got a thumbs up and I can refer my family to shop At Ashley’s furniture instead of Bobs or any other store. He got a 5stars for my experience.

I had one of the best experiences ever with Dwight Sutton. I didn’t fell like I was forced into buying things I didn’t need. Mr. Sutton went over every piece of furniture I purchased. He also made sure I got insurance for all of my items. I’m currently looking to buy another home and Mr. Sutton is will to assist me with this entire process from start to finish. I’m currently in the process of sending out referrals based off my pleasant experience. They need more people like Dwight who seems to always go above and beyond for his customers. I know people can be difficult as I was but he took his time and walk me through this experience as if I was a new born baby. I gave Dwight 5 stars based off my overall experience. Keep up the good work and I will be sending in everyone I know to make a purchase with you.

We went in to just look and ended up buying a king tempur pedic mattress, box springs, a beautiful king bed, night stands and all the accessories. The sales person was Maryann, she presented endless options, wasn't pushy and took her time with us from start to finish. The manager was also very helpful and involved throughout this large transaction. We definitely will be back.
Bought a queen sofa sleeper about four months ago . It started out ok and then about two months in I noticed a metal piece when it was opened just sticking out from nowhere , also the mechanism had a loud squeak which was getting louder . The mattress grew mold underneath . I contacted them and sent them pictures , they refused to do anything for me. Very poor quality and they do not stand by their warranty .I would not advise shipping with them .
If I could give ZERO stars, I would. My husband and I came to Ashley in search of a sectional for our home. We were met by Shawn, who offered his assistance. Two sales women were nearby, and barely looked up for whatever they were doing. We told Shawn that we were just doing some research and if we needed help, we’d let him know. Shawn then FOLLOWED US everywhere we went in the store..didn’t say anything.. wasn’t pushy.. Just FOLLOWED US. Downstairs.. upstairs.. around the corner… It was a bit weird, to be perfectly honest. I mean, we were pretty up front that we would let him know when we needed assistance. On the website, We had seen a particular modular couch that we were looking at… When we saw it in the store, at first, it didn’t look the same.. wrinkled, flat, dirty… When I finally asked Shawn were the couch was that I saw online, it just so happened to be the couch we had already crossed off the list…the dirty wrinkled one. He said it was the “cloud dupe”… ummm… No, it definitely was NOT. My friend has one of those and it’s GORGEOUS. Not a wrinkled, flat MESS. But that wasn’t the bad part. The BAD part was this one old saleswoman who chimed in and said something to the effect of “You already saw it and didn’t like it” with an extremely RUDE tone. I ignored her.. My husband and I continued to look around, and then I asked Shawn what the rub count was on a particular couch. He had NO IDEA what I was talking about. A RUB Count is a gauge to see how well the fabric should hold up.l after wear and tear…anything over 30,000 is preferred. He referred me back to the rude old lady and she had no idea either. My husband and I continued to look around and sure enough, there’s Shawn LURKING…my husband politely asked him for some space, and that’s when Shawn snapped at him.. “I’m just standing here” Well, that was it for me. I told him that he just lost a customer and he stated that he “didn’t care because I was “rude”.” Sorry, Shawn… that you don’t know your job well enough to know what rub count is. You SELL furniture. You SHOULD Know. I, unfortunately, called him a rather nasty name and also called the cackling old women who were LAUGHING, nasty names as well. I can say that it’s extremely uncommon for me to do that. And it’s a shame it happened. AVOID this store and these “sales people” at all costs. It’s just not worth it.

The sales person Anthony was very kind but the other guy at the kiosk (probably the supervisor) was extremely rude. I will never shop the Ashley stores let alone the Eatontown one. I couldn't care less about the products or discounts but the tone and attitude of that guy was enough to drive me out of the store and never visit again.

If I could put zero stars I would. I would avoid this store if you enjoy your peace. Below is my experience in the nicest way possible. In store experience was pretty good, however I was given a quote for a sofa and a chair which I agreed to. Somehow I get invoiced for the sofa and ottoman no chair (at the pay desk they don’t show you the typed invoice they just simply say sign the pad and here’s what you pay. The price matched but as u will see the items did not). Later the sofa and ottoman are delivered. I refused the ottoman and called the store for the correct piece of furniture. Shawn my sales associate. Attempts to tell me that I am incorrect and 100% asked for an ottoman (later proven wrong by his own hand written invoice which clearly stated chaise and chair with the given price ). He then berates me by telling he does not care what I will do. I can do whatever I want but the price will not be honored. Proceeds to hang up on me twice. If I did not continue calling I’m sure I would’ve just been left in the dark. I call back a third time and I am immediately forwarded to the store manager as I requested from Shawn on the prior two calls. I believe her name was Sharon. Sharon, unlike Shawn, listened to what I had to say and let me break down the evidence I clearly had to back up my accusation. It ended up that she agreed to honor the price and send me the chair, however it was currently out of stock and due to be received in a month and then a delivery will be scheduled . I will update this review then and if the promise is fulfilled I will add a star or two. The customer service experience was intolerable and horrible, until Sharon of course. I hope she comes through!

Had a couch scheduled for delivery and confirmed the date with their Guest Services. Didn’t get a phone call on the delivery date so I called back and the employee just rescheduled the delivery for the following week with no explanation. Wasted my vacation day waiting for delivery for no good reason. I’d go elsewhere if you could help it.
Wow, just WOW!! Today I was looking for a bedroom dresser and chest for my nephew who lives in another state. Had an older guy that seemed to be impatient! I went in knowing exactly what I wanted because I checked the website prior to going in. He showed me something that was of no interest to me. I said no thank you because the drawers were flimsy looking. He pulled out the drawer to step on top of it which was just weird. I still didn't like it because of too much movement it was making when opening and closing. (felt like it would fall out if pulled out too far) I said no thanks. He showed me something else on my list that I actually ordered 1 yr ago but never received due to "supply chain issues". Actually, I'm glad I never got it because the quality was worse looking than the photos. I asked about another product and wanted to know how soon and what the shipping fees were if any. He quotes $400 something. I was like no way because the website showed $199 for no hassle deliver and $109 for doorstep delivery!! I told him last year my order had a promo of no shipping. He along with another woman proceeds to tell me they NEVER do that which is incorrect because my order had NO SHIPPING! I just looked up an Ashley Furniture Youtube video from that last year that showed no shipping. Either way, doesn't matter because I will not be purchasing anything from them. That older guy never even had the courtesy to introduce himself or to even ask what my name was. After checking the shipping and me questioning about it, he just walked away without a word!! UNPROFESSIONAL! There were several other young men there that was helpful explaining what the promo may have been and apologic about not being able to accommodate me. They are the ONLY reason I gave any stars!

My couches and recliners are barely a year and a half old. First, the reclining mechanism on my won’t work. Then the same thing has just happened with my couch. I had warranties on the items, and when I called to see if they could repair, I was told they do not handle mechanisms breaking. I bought a sectional at big lots that had much better quality than what I purchased at Ashley’s. Horrible quality furniture and they won’t even take accountability to have it repaired properly. Horrific!

BOB was our salesman and I have to say, he was the best! This was the first time we've ever worked with a salesman that knew just when to provide information and presence and when to step away and allow us to discuss our thoughts. I truly appreciated that he didn't follow us around and hover over us the whole time. We will return to this store for two reasons...great selection and Bob! Ask for him if you go there. It really doesn’t give me pleasure to write this because our salesperson Dave was very nice and helpful from the start. But everything from there was absolutely horrible. You would expect when a 2k dinning set comes damaged there would be some level of customer care. NOPE! The store branch refuses to help me, guest services is being non helpful or responsive, the main customer service number hangs up on me when I call. I wouldn’t buy a pillow case from this company again. Still no one has reached back out to me after 3 weeks. The guest services department is a joke. They need to take a lesson is customer service from BOBs furniture. -Zero response from customer support since they told me to contact them a week ago. What a shocker.
Horrible a nightmare, I received the delivery. the furniture had flaws and for more than a month and they don't fix it for me, they have me from department to department and nobody does anything. I'm wilI buy or recommend nothing on this store

This place is hardly ever busy which is a shame because it's such an amazing store. They have a HUGE selection for reasonable prices. The staff are so nice and very helpful. If you go to the Ashley's in Eatontown, ask for Allan, he's phenomenal!
We went to shop for a new island for the kitchen and also a dresser for one of our rooms. Saw this dresser and thought the price was fair! I saw the corner of it was damaged badly. I asked our rep could we speak with the manger to see if she would take more off of it, since we also would have to pay to have it delivered to our home. The manager over the walkie said are those people asking for more money off. We continued to the stairs to meet her and she went up the other case and would not look at us while she was walking. I’m highly disappointed she would not even look at us in the face to talk about it or even consider taking more off. She can trust we will never shop Ashley again or recommend them!
I’ll never forget the lady with the super thin blonde hair and smoked a bunch of cigarettes . !! Worst experience ever . She started spitting at us , called the police because we were complaining about a furniture order . Eaton-town police were very nice to us understanding to the situation and told her she can’t make false police reports because customers were up happy about merchandise. I’m not sure if she still works there but beware . I hope she doesn’t work there anymore , Ashley’s in Eatontown could be SO much better if she didn’t work at this location .

Ashley Furniture has THE ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE OF ANY COMPANY I'VE EVER DEALT WITH. Have the warranty, can't replace the cushions (they don't make them anymore???) Then as per their warranty I should be able to return the couch - but they promise you they'll take care of it, and stretch you out over the long run. HORRIBLE PLACE TO DO BUSINESS. Would give zero stars if I could
Maryann was so great to work with while shopping for a couple of sofas. She was honest about the inventory and very responsive in our communication. The couches came in about a week since they were in stock and delivery process was easy. The guys showed up on time and the sofas are in great shape, with no damage. I went with the Dandrea model and they are very comfortable, but do need to be broken in a bit. They do not show the dog hair and easy to clean (one minor spill so far.) The sofa bed is easy to setup and breakdown as well. Would recommend all around!

Absolutely horrible experience, I ordered furniture from this Ashley store and it showed up damaged. The delivery drivers told me that it would be no issue getting replacements and to keep the damaged ones. I’m currently on month 3 here with absolutely zero help from Ashley furniture customer service and the store itself. I’ve talked to the GM Sal and multiple times he said it would be taken care of and it’s not. I Had anticipation of buying a brand new bedroom set from here and a new coffee table, but with 0 help on the back end I’ll be shopping elsewhere
The power touch couch has each end recliners and 1 side is sagging i believe the wood underneath is broken and every call say not covered this is yrs now and horrible insurance company waste of my

Nice deals..just reduced my 5 star to 3 star review..I was charged 139.00 for delivery..they give you a 4 hour window..9am to 1 pm..its 1:13 now..they said I'm the 1st delivery on truck 4..So what gives?..Ashley hired these outside contractors then Ashley will get the brunt of it..if it was Free Delivery then I will waste the day sitting at home...I paid for a service and recieved nothing

Went to Ashley to get furniture they bought it to me broken…then guys came out to fixed it…it then broke again they…they now will not repair is again and going to replace the couch….I’m waiting 13 weeks and it’s still not it supply I will never ever shop at Ashly’s again not worth my money time or aggravation….why sell something that is not even in stock take it the hell off the floor.
I bought my furniture Labor Day weekend of 2020 I ordered living room set ,rec room set ,kitchen set and all extras .they told me it be eight weeks as of March 2021 I still didn’t get all my furniture and the furniture I did get a lot of it was damaged and had to be sent back and be replaced again I finally called and canceled the pieces I didn’t get they are terrible to work with their rude nasty and liars. Never never never order from Ashley furniture in Eatontown!!!!!

Bar none the worst experience I have had with customer service. My wife and I were moving after purchasing furniture from their store. I called to cancel the order on three occasions hoping to shop for new furniture suited for the new house. None of the associates cancelled the order and it was delivered to my house forcing me to wait an additional 3 weeks for my reimbursement. Needless to say, I will not be shopping here for my new set and highly recommend others don’t as well.
NEVER AGAIN!!! I've bought furniture from Ashleys before and I understand, due to covid, there are issues but this is ridiculous. We purchased a bedroom set in February 2021 and were told it would take up to 12 weeks because of delays. Understood. 12 weeks go by so we start calling for status and were given a different story every time. They also would tell us that a manager will get back to us. No one ever called us. It's now August and no furniture - not even an estimate for delivery. Highly disappointed
Went to Ashley “just to look”. Was greeted by Elizabeth Rafferty. She asked us a few questions in what we were looking for and she went above and beyond to show us all the different styles of sectionals around the store. She was courteous, helpful in designing and style. We wound up purchasing the sectional. She even went as far as carrying pieces of furniture to help us design what we wanted. lol. Thank you again Elizabeth for your help. 😊
Absolutely terrible experience. I bought a dining room set with an Accent bench.The bench was $471 All items were supposed to be delivered. 1st delivery date was canceled truck broke down (I get it that happens). 2nd delivery date Table and chairs were delivered the the accent bench was broken I received a phone call they would not deliver it they were ordering another one. About 3 weeks go by have not heard from them. I call them they tell me it's ordered another week goes by. I received a phone call from a woman asking if I still wanted the bench. Explains to me it's no longer available I'd have to take the floor model and I would have to pick it up. I asked why none of this was explained to me when I called. Her answers were just I don't know I asked what the discount would be now That I'm picking it up n taking a floor model. Again she had no idea. I get to the store They offered me 20% off of the floor model. (which is broken) so I said I just want my money back (this was Saturday) Now I have to go back to the store on Monday to get a check. Again something else that could have been explained on the phone and saved me 2 hours in the car. AND THE BEST PART if I wanted to return the table and chairs because now I have an incomplete set I'd have to pay a restocking fee 25% on each item a table and 8 chairs Customer service is an absolute joke!!!!

All I can say is horrible!!! I was promised that after paying for my order in full I would receive a call in a few days. Then, my furniture would be delivered in 10 days. I’m currently on month 3 when it comes but then they forget my handles to dresser and bed wasn’t fully assembled right. After I noticed and called back. They acted as if it as my problem now to fix. then told me it would be 10 days before I would get those…. How am I supposed to put my clothes in?? Use a knife?
Ashley HomeStore Eatontown is the place to go! They are very friendly, knowledgeable, and really treat you like a person. We went out of our way to go to Eatontown after having two horrible experiences with the Ashley HomeStore in Freehold. The Freehold location has some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Check out the Eatontown location only for your home needs. I also want to give special thanks to MaryAnn at Eatontown who was wonderful.
We purchased a love seat, sofa bed and twin mattress in February 2021. They said it would take 10-12 weeks, but we should definitely have it by Memorial Day. Well, long story short, furniture is still not delivered and it is now July 2021. We asked if they could deliver the mattress and loveseat since those are in the warehouse. Assured us they would get back to us, and of course, no call, no delivery. Do yourself a favor and stay FAR away from this place. Empty promises and no communication. Maybe we’ll have our furniture by Christmas, but I won’t hold my breath.
Greedy sales people and TERRIBLE service. We ordered a couch that didn't fit down our basement steps. Completely our fault. They gave us a store credit or a cash refund less 25% of the cost. We went back to pick out another couch and NO ONE helped us because they wouldn't get a commission on a store credit purchase. We stood there for about 45 minutes and watched as they slithered over to other customers. So we asked for our money back and they took 25% of the purchase price even though we spent a bunch more on furniture we kept for other rooms. They kept our money just so they can restock the couch back in the warehouse to resell at full price. The people that work at this Ashley are disgusting.

My family is in the process of moving, which the manager of the Eatontown location was aware of and ok with. They told us our furniture can stay in warehouse as long as needed so we paid in full for a floor model accent table only to find our table BACK FOR SALE on the floor when we came to schedule delivery and denial of any such agreement. HIGHLY unprofessional staff with poor notes and clearly will twll you anything to make a sale. Do not come here!

I called to find information about w couple of pieces of furniture and was greeted by a nasty, horrible attitude from whoever answers the phone. If that's how they answer the phone, i don't wanna know how they treat customers in store Didn't even want to experience going to that store.
Very kind and helpful sales associate sold us a leather sectional couch in early Fall 2020. We were given an estimate of 6-8 weeks for the couch to arrive at the local warehouse and then be delivered a few days later. We had to call ourselves for updates each month, to find out starting in November when we expected the delivery that it was delayed due to COVID and inventory issues. Each month, the expected delivery was pushed out by a month. In December, the sales associate I spoke with on the phone told me she would check and make sure that the newest updated date (mid-January) was accurate and call me back to confirm. She never called. I called back at the end of January and spoke to a sales associate who told me that she “didn’t see much” when she pulled up my account, so would have a manager call me back. I asked if this could be done today, since I was told the same thing a month ago and no one returned the call. She promised yes. No one ever called us. I just called today to find out what the deal is... the phone just rang and rang mid-day during business hours with no answer. We will be canceling our order as soon as I can get ahold of a live human to do so. This is really a shame because I’ve had great experiences with Ashley in the past in other regions that I’ve lived in - not here.
Oh man, where to start... extremely pushy sales associate. Just the whole attitude of "you will like this one" when it didn't meet any of my criteria. He pulled down his mask while on the computer multiple times and while we were walking. And the nerve to suggesting prices that were higher than advertised on their own websites AND charge for shipping when free shipping is provided online as well? Absolute nonsense. If you really like the furniture, skip the trip and buy online. No sense in patronizing this location.
So my wife and I go to Ashley Furniture in Eatontown on October 2, 2020. We pay $1,900.00 for an Entertainment Center and was told 4 to 6 weeks for delivery. After 6 weeks and no unit, I needed to call them. I was then told delivery would by prior to December 26th. I again had to call them to find out we had to wait for inventory and we should have it by January 20. Well, I called again and was told hopefully by February 2nd. I said no way give me my money back. After some talking back and forth, I demanded my refund. They credited my card with a full refund. My wife and I and then drove to Raymore and Flanigan, bought an entertainment center and a complete living set. With guaranteed delivery by January 27th. Here it is January 27th, 9:30 AM and we have our furniture, Delivered, Set-up and No Hassel.

Don't buy from this place. You will wait forever for your delivery that will never arrive. "6-8 weeks" turned to 7+ months and the furniture I ordered is still not even in the USA. Their phones "don't work", so the only way to contact them is to go in person. Also, good luck trying to get your refund. Credit card machines "don't work" either, so you either have to come back, or leave your credit card information with them. I went in person and cancelled my order but the money is still not in my bank account.
I ordered a couch back in July, the expected delivery to my house was max 6-8 weeks. They charged me the day I placed an order, which was odd to me. Most places charge after they ship the item, not before. However, I was told this is the only way they take orders. It's now December and I still haven't gotten my couch. Not only that, but every month since July I've been told that the couch is scheduled to arrive "first week of next month". It was finally supposed to arrive at the warehouse Dec 4th. It didn't. I tried calling multiple times but nobody ever picks up. I finally went there in person to request my refund. I was told that phones as well as their credit card machine don't work "today"(they haven't been picking up calls for the last month). The "manager" also told me that I could still wait for the couch and only pay for the taxes for now... a little too late since you've been holding my money hostage for the last several months! Also, how come you charged me to begin with! They were supposed to process my refund later that day (Sunday) or Monday. It's now 11 pm on Monday and I still didn't get my money back. Don't ever buy anything there. They stole my money and wasted my time. Don't believe them when they tell you delivery is 6-8 weeks. Go literally ANYWHERE else. This place should be shot down for fraud. Ashley HomeStore, stop blaming "covid" for your horrible customer service and fraud.

Never buy a mattress from this place! I bought a mattress for $ 3,997.36 highly recommended by the sale representative on 8/14/2020 ( a Friday when my credit card was charged). I was told to call on Monday ( 8/17/2020) to find out the delivery date. Today is 9/28/2020 and despite numerous calls to the store, no mattress, not known delivery date, cannot make a cancellation without to talk to Mark ( the manager) who was supposed to call me but he never did. I called on 9/26/2020 again for cancellation. The person I talked to said she will get in touch with the manager and call me back immediately. She never called. My husband called again today and he was listening to the same story. I called afterwards and my frustrations were high and I ended up with the person at the other end hanging up the phone on me. I called again and an other representative answered. She told me frankly that she cannot do anything about my situation until Mark, the manager is going to call me. I am still waiting ....
Called over phone asked them questions give answer you wanna hear get down to the store and it’s a whole different story. Worse furniture store out here. Can’t use your store CC if under 600$ purchase and hasn’t to be delivered. Stay away from these scammers

Decent sized showroom...poorly lit (their fault) largely darker furniture (not their fault) .. like most furniture stores the salespeople are on you like mosquitoes immediately upon entering. (My wife and I have a "split up" strategy..seems to throw them off.. I had to firmly state that I was not interested in the sales pitch, just looking for something. She backed off and eventually came over to apologize/reconcile which I thought was very professional. The biggest problem with Ashley is that they are usually overpriced and as a result their sales are not great either...however this time I found something and we are going back tomorrow...stay tuned
This place is the worst customer service very poor. Prices are over priced same furniture at Value City Furniture and Raymour & Flanigan up the street for over half the price and they get it from Ashley whole sale. Terrible business and when you show them items on another site their response we can't match. However it is your brand!! Very poor services!!

Hello I’m writing this because I’m not getting the answers I need about my items I purchased 3/5/2020. One I haven’t received not one piece I got one call saying everything was all in I would get a call on delivery day. After that no delivery day I didn’t receive my items I purchased. I called and was told they are waiting on head board. So my 2nd call that I made was the same answer they are waiting on the headboard ok I get it but I also was told it’s a epidemic going and store are closed fine but on this paper I have it’s Says if I do not receive my items before 3/16/2020 “ If merchandise ordered by you is not delivered by promise delivery date, Ashely Homestore must offer you the choice of (1) cancelling your order with a prompt , full refund of any payments you have made, or (2) accepting delivery at a specific later date.” So back to the person I talk to on the phone with epidemics one stores wasn’t closed down around 3/16/2020 everything with store just took place 3/20/2020 it would be nice to get some real answer cuz I paid for my items in full!!!

Very Friendly never once felt pressure to buy anything & the prices are amazing.
Incredibly disappointed with our experience. Our salesperson was decent and helpful, and we actually left the store (after purchasing an item) feeling pretty satisfied. When we got home to measure out where and how it would look, i found the same item on the Ashley website for $250 less. I called to ask about the discrepancy, and they said it was to cover the cost of overhead, etc. When we turned down their offer to "meet us halfway" on the price, they told us we only had 3 days to return to the store if we wanted to cancel the order--almost intentionally inconvenient on a weekday. All in all, this was about as enjoyable as buying a new car.

As most, I was driving & saw the great deal advertised on the window. I have a beautiful Ashley maghonay bedroom set that I absolutely love so decided to stop in. I was greeted by Dina immediately & told her I was just there to browse. She gave me my space & let me roam. I loved many of the pieces & as soon as I was ready, she wasn't too far which I liked, as I had many questions and although juggling a few customers she made time & adequately answered them as well as helping me sort through what made sense. I made plans to bring my husband in the following week, received no pressure or sales ending pitch, she understood. Dina's been a great help in assisting us & made the experience pleasurable & fun for my husband & I. Looking forward to working with her on accessories. The 5yr protection with more than reasonable prices made our choices easy.

Stopped in this store on a whim as we found ourselves in the area. We've been looking for a very specific reclining sofa in a certain color with no luck for months. We had already been to all the name brand stores. We explained to Maryann exactly what we wanted and she in return showed us the only four sofas in the warehouse (which by the way, is HUGE) which met our requirements. To our amazement, the last one she showed us was EXACTLY what we had been searching for! The bonus...in our price range with free delivery. Super happy & satisfied verified customer.

First off the service was lackluster at best! I can not wait until the day im do not have to deal with ashleys furniture! took them almost 2 months to deliver my order and when they came they only gave me the head board and matters with no box spring. had to wait another 8 days until they completed my order. They have been charging me interest for the past 3 months even when they said it will be interest free for 12 months (my account started 8 months ago) Hands down the worst furniture store on the market. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
Gave it a 3 because we were the only customer in at the time. Not overly excited. So much to look at but put all over.. upstairs. Downstairs.. this corner or over there. Just overwhelmed.
Zero stars. DO NOT buy anything from this store. Purchased multiple items for entire house and waited forever for delivery. Never called to follow up when they said they would. Customer service rep scheduling deliveries was rude af and you could tell right away she has no interest in helping anyone. Get another job lady- preferably one in a secluded cubicle with no human interaction. You have to speak to a manager for a civil conversation. Delivery team was the worst on the planet. Only brought up half the furniture and claimed the other items wouldn't fit up the stairs. Didn't even make an attempt. If you make the mistake of ordering from Ashley and get the dynamic duo of Louis and Louis, God help you. Two older dudes who don't want to take furniture up the stairs. Infuriating!
We bought a kitchen table from them for about 2K. After 6 months the surface started to peel....they replaced it under warranty....the replacement started peeling after 8 months but they refused to do anything because warranty only allowed once....can you imagine that? STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE
Literally terrible. Ordered $4000+ worth of furniture, was told everything would be in and ready for delivery in 4 weeks. 6 weeks later, still missing two pieces and delaying my move in process. Customer service is awful and prices are significantly higher than online. Don’t shop here, I’d rather pick my furniture off the side of the street
I ordered my daughters bed on November 8 2019.I am still waiting for it .6 weeks later still no bed.Now my daughter will not have a bed for Christmas..😡😡I will never buy anything from this company again.I should had went to Raymour and Flanigan or BoBs.Also your Manger’s in your Eatontown breach is very rude.Very disappointing
Great experience while shopping for a couch. Frank was our sadness salesperson. He was extremely helpful throughout the whole process. Frank had a wonderful personality as well. We got a great price on our couch and a delivery date that was under 2 weeks. Perfect experience. I'd recommend and shop there again.

Stopped in to look around for a couch took us around through the whole showroom showed us around saw many different things. We've settled for a loveseat and a couch it was a very decent price atmosphere there was very good people knew what they were talking about very helpful and sociable and also talking about the warranties to take for the two pieces that bought. Paying and setting up the appointment for the furniture delivery was easy.
Buyer beware. I purchased several pieces of furniture here along with a "warranty" for my couch to be cleaned. My furniture took over a month to get delivered! To top it off at the time they stated that if you purchase the warranty and it's not utilized within 5 years you will recieve a $500 credit towards new furniture. 5 years passed and I never had a chance to utilize the service (it was very difficult to get an appointment for cleaning within 2 weeks time). Now I'm told you have to have the original receipt in order for it to be honored. This was not the original agreement they told us to just call the phone number - everything is on record. When I called they have everything on record, the representative specified my furniture BUT because "Ashley Furniture" has been bought out by Regency Furniture they wont honor it without a receipt. Despite seeing my purchases including the warranty in their system. What a scam. I had intentions of buying more furniture prior to the holidays but won't be spending another dollar at any Regency Furniture/ Ashley furniture place again.

Had a wonderful experience at the Ashley Homestore in Eatontown, NJ. I had the pleasure of working with Maryann C. this busy labor day weekend. My husband and I recently purchased a new home and I was excited to start purchasing our new living and dining room furniture. Maryann was very patient and accommodating, and even picked up a few heavy pieces and moved them around to help set "the stage". Deb, a manager at the store was great to talk to and work with. I am extremely happy with my purchases.

Spent 3k on a mattress. We were told it would be in on Monday and delivered by the end of the week. Turns out we were misled to close the deal I assume. Just found out the mattress we bought on 7/20/19 still isn't in to be delivered. They said we won't receive delivery until 8/3 at best. They also said the price of the mattress was set by the manufacturer and couldn't be reduced but Raymor has it for $100 less. They use up pricing and then say everything is on sale, but there is no sale. You're paying for what Raymor has as regular price. Avoid these people. They are unethical. Case in point, for months they would pay people to hold up going out of business sale signs, yet they are still in business.
Unless you find pleasure in waiting 4+ weeks for furniture you ordered after being promised a ETA then DO NOT SHOP HERE .l
Terrible Customer Service. If you want any sort of communication and furniture delivered in a timely fashion, do not buy from here... We purchased a couch, throw pillows, bed room set, and a large picture for our living room. Upon purchase, we were informed that the couch could be delivered that Thursday (5/30) and the bed room set set is back-ordered (fine). We had to call three separate times to confirm that the couch would be delivered on 5/30 and ultimately were told they couldn't make it happen (as they promised). Two weeks from purchase the couch and bed room set was delivered... Fine. I called after the delivery of the couch and bedroom set wondering where our large picture and throw pillows were. The girl at the receptionist desk told me that the sales person must have "forgotten" to put in the order for those as they had to be drop-shipped and "thank god" I called otherwise we never would have gotten them ($300 in merchandise)....... She told me she would call with a status update the next day and it should take an additional 3-4 weeks for them to arrive. Might I point out, we are already 2 weeks+ into this mess. The next day goes by and I don't receive a phone call. I call and she tells me that she still has no update. I call back again later in the week and speak with a different gentleman. He says "You have my word. Tomorrow. I will call you with an update." The next day, he never called. I called again today (6/12) and the same gentleman who said "You have my word," picked up and told me that he has been out for 5 days in the hospital.... I spoke with him yesterday... Then, he proceeded to tell me that their email systems are down and another sales person will reach out by days end. (Really?) Two hours later as I am writing this review I still have no update and no idea where my large picture and throw pillows are. If there was an option to leave "0 stars" I would have. Poor customer service, lies, excuses. Not worth the hassle. Go to Raymour & Flannigan or a different furniture company if you want any type of professional service. Never again.

Terrible customer service. Nobody knows what the other one is doing and they promise to get right back to you and no one ever does. Took a month get my dinning room set and another 2 months for them to track down 2 of the chairs that they claim were broke in the warehouse. Turns out the set was discontinued right after i purchased it.
Horribly managed company and pathetic customer service is an understatement! We were told 4 weeks for delivery for a dining set. 6 weeks pass and not even a phone call to let us know it was delayed. Fast forward to 4 months later!...still no word on when we could even expect delivery. Only that the chairs were back ordered with no ETA. Makes no sense since they are supposedly the manufacturer! Apparently, their system doesn’t notify them of back orders and they don’t even take the initiative to run a report and call their customers. Finally, after I had to call several times, they gave us a delivery date. Here’s the kicker...after 4+ months delay due to back ordered chairs, they shipped us the wrong chairs! Two weeks later we eventually receive our dining set that we waited 18 weeks for. Then after taking the time to calmly voice my dissatisfaction to the store manager, he makes an attempt at a “make good”. He offers us a discount on an ottoman we were interested in, but we would have to go pick it up at the Linden store. A week later, I go to Linden...and guess what, they don’t have it! Three weeks later...I eventually get a call telling me that all he can do is refund my money since corporate told him “it’s not worth it” to do anything else. So, in summary, Ashley’s will gladly take your money immediately, lie to customers about delivery estimates just to make a sale, not notify customers of back order updates, order wrong items and not even notice when the customer calls at least 6 times asking for eta, and can care less about taking ownership of and making good on their mistakes. Do yourself a favor and just stay away from this business. You couldn’t pay me to shop here again!
I bought a beautiful new sectional from Ashley Furniture and I couldn’t have been happier with my purchase. From the moment I walked in I was greeted with a big smile and the staff was very attentive and helpful. My salesman was Jeremy Glassmacher and he made the whole experience a pleasurable one. He knew his stuff and and is exactly what a salesman should be. Courteous, friendly, knowledgeable, and honest. Thank you Jeremy! I highly recommend if you go in that you ask for Jeremy.
Good Morning: My husband and I purchased the Bolanburg dining table, 4 side chairs, 2 end chairs, a book shelf and the server, all from the Bolanburg collection. Needless to say, I have not had a great experience with Ashley. I absolutely love the furniture, however, after less than 1 month, one of the end chair legs cracked in half (whole my friend who is no more than 120 lbs.) was sitting on the chair, causing her to fall to the floor. Upon this happening I decided to inspect the other chairs and noticed that one of the chairs is extremely wobbly and uneven. Now the furniture was delivered on January 24, 2019 and the chair broke on February 22, 2019. This is less than 1 month from delivery. Regarding the server, one of the doors is loose at the hinge. While this is something that we can easily fix ourselves, I do not believe I should have to do this 2 months after purchase. Back to the broken chair, it has been a month since I have contacted the customer care number, after back and forth, well after me calling a few times, because I never received any return calls, I was told last week that I would be mailed a leg for the broken chair and when the leg gets to my house I should call the customer care number and they would send out a technician to repair the chair and look at the other pieces. I have not received anything and no one has been in contact with me. I have been calling for the past month and still have a broken chair! Also, I did pay for the extended warranty insurance because at the store I was told that the insurance would cover the furniture for 5 years and upon calling them was told that the insurance only covers "bubbling and discoloration". I was then told to call the store customer service as this should be under manufacturer's warranty since it is well within 1 year old. Why cant the chair just be replaced? I am extremely unsatisfied and this could have been fixed a month ago but I am still waiting..

I purchased a sectional 6 weeks ago, no one has yet to call me as to delivery date. I’ve called no less than 10 times - always issues with their phone line busy, not connecting or ringing with no answer. No other professional furniture store take 6 weeks to deliver a paid for product. Go elsewhere for your needs!!
The store itself had a pleasant experience. I did not feel pressured to buy anything nor did I feel like salespeople were lurking around corners ready to pounce but they were readily available for any questions I did have. I do have to say though DO NOT BUY Ashley HomeStore 's insurance, it's a SCAM! When it comes time to have a repair or replacement made they give you a number to contact their third party merchant, TriCounty Furniture, to handle the claim. Low and behold, TriCounty furniture does not show up... not once, not twice, but three missed appointments where they give you a window of 3 hours to wait for them! First appointment I was 38 weeks pregnant and had a window from 1-4 and had to move a Dr's appointment to accommodate the first no show... 10 mins to 4 I received a call that the technician was having vehicle trouble. Reschedule. 2nd appointment I now had a newborn and received a window of 4-7 pm ...at 20 to 7 I received a call that the technician was running 45 mins behind schedule and would be at my house around 7:45pm.... no show. 3rd appointment the 2:45-5:45 window came and went with no call at all and at 6pm when I called the girl said, "oh, he'll be there in 2 minutes." No show. AND I receive an email "Dear Protection Plan Customer: Following your service appointment, our professional technician has provided us with a report on the inspection/service performed. We will process the report within the next 5 business days and notify you of any additional service steps, if applicable. Sincerely, Customer Service Center" THE TECHNICIAN NEVER CAME!!!

My experience was very comfortable. I was greeted with respect and never felt pressured to buy. Me and my wife were able to check out and test every piece before making a deal. Dave was very respectful and really helped us find what we were looking for. We will come back here for sure!
Shopping for furniture is not an easy thing to do, the people at Ashley made it pleasurable. They worked with us and showed us what we wanted. We wound up buying two bedroom sets and a top of the line mattress, all for a very good price.
The absolute worst customer service I've ever experienced in a furniture store. I will never recommend anyone to shop here. I think the lady who helped me was named Katie. She had zero personality and I don't think she smiled once in the 2 days that I dealt with her. The only reason I bought the furniture was because it was such a good deal. I was hoping to get a different employee when I went back the next day to purchase the furniture but she was standing right there when I walked in. She did not deserve my sale at all! To make matters worse, I was told that I would get a call the day before delivery to set up a time. By 8pm the night before no one had called me. I called the store multiple times from 4 different phone numbers and I could not get a connection. Their phone was not working. I had to get in my car and drive there before 9pm, when they close. I was very upset. I asked what was wrong with their phone and no one seemed to know what I was talking about. I called while standing in front of them from my phone and my daughter's phone just to prove to them that I wasn't just an irate customer. They still played dumb. I called the next day around noon and the phone was working. I'm going to assume that after 8pm they take it upon themselves to shut their phones down somehow. That's very mean and unprofessional. As far as delivery goes, I was very disappointed. I didn't get a call about delivery until 12:20 pm, on the day of delivery. My delivery time was between 1pm and 5pm. They didn't get there until 4:45pm. The guys came in an unmarked truck, they smelled awful and no one spoke English. This is America, our native language is English. Ashley Furniture has left a comment bad taste in my mouth.
I recently purchased a livingroom set in the Eatontown store. Later found out the set was discontinued. The store manager Bill went above and beyond to satisfy and get me my desired set. I'm very pleased with the solution that Bill came up with. I will purchase and tell my friends to purchase from Ashley

Jeremy was our salesmen very professional and nice was very helpful, we have yet to schedule a delivery date for furniture we just purchased, this is our first time shopping at this Ashley Store, we purchased at Ashley Store in Toms River with absolutely no issues when our recliner cushion was ripped it was repaired under our 5 year plan so hopefully our purchase here at this Ashley store in Eatontown is the same as our experience in Toms River. Today is 7/11/2018, this is a update of the first review I left sadly we never received our dining room set we paid for in cash from this Ashley Store here in Eatontown, we are still waiting for our refund in the amount of $3326.52 which according to their policy says and I quote "Checks may take up to 14 days to process from the date of cancellation", 1 order was canceled on 6/13/18, the other on 6/20/18. Was told refund was processed on 7/5/18 and that it takes 7 to 14 business days before we would receive our money. Will give a couple more days if no refund check, then small claims court here we come, I will leave the 4 stars because our project specialist at the time was a nice gentlemen, thanks again Jeremy its not your fault. 7/15/18 received refund in full.
If you have the option don't go here. There customer service is not responsive at all. And if something is missing in your delivery, you will not get it. Overall, if you have a better option go somewhere else.
Purchased a bedroom set and let them know there were restrictions on delivery from my building. Told me it was no problem for 3 weeks, call me the day before with a time outside of the delivery for the building. When I called to complain, I was informed they do not guarantee delivery and it was my building's fault for having the rule in the first place. Biggest scam I've ever dealt with. Paid for furniture, never showed up. They keep telling me "next week, next week"....13 weeks later still no furniture. They ignore calls, hang up on calls. Finally they told me it would be delivered and gave me a day. I had to stay home from work that day, and they never showed up. I call them after and they said it wont be ready for another 2 weeks!! This place needs to be put down - what a bunch of lying scammers
I’m not one to publicly bash a retailer as I recognize sometimes there are things that are beyond the control of others however, when a store send me an email that says “please rate us”, I believe they need to hear the honest truth. After all, they asked me. After multiple attempts to get “customer service” from this store, I can confidently say it’s a nonexistent term for them and based on that alone, it’s enough to avoid Ashley Home Store on Route 35 in Eatontown, NJ. A few weeks ago I purchased a piece of furniture. At that time, my credit card was charged 100% for the purchase and I was told someone would reach out to me in a day or two to confirm delivery. After a week with no call, I called the store. The phone rang and rang and rang until it eventually disconnected. After many tries, the phone was finally answered by someone who found my order but told me there wasn’t a purchase order associated with the sale, he’d look into it, and get back to me within an hour. A full week passed and I never heard from anyone so I called again. Same drama with the phone not being answered and having to call multiple times before getting a person on the phone. At that point, I was told it takes about two weeks to process and I’d be hearing from someone any day now. Another full week has passed and you’ve guessed it: nobody has called me about my delivery. (Did I mention that my credit card was charged in full at the time of purchase?). Again tonight I called and again, I had to call multiple times before the call was answered. Tonight, I was given an excuse that the warehouse has moved and they’re very behind but getting caught up and if I call tomorrow afternoon, they’ll call the warehouse for me and find out more info for me. You can imagine how excited I am to call again and listen to a phone ring multiple times, get disconnected, call back, and repeat. I’m short, there is nothing redeeming about this store. With online retailers who can get stuff to my home in only a few days or stores like Raymour & Flanigan who schedule the delivery at the time of purchase and know if something is in stock, why would anyone shop at this store? Horrendous isn’t a strong enough term and if there was a way to give negative stars, I would. Do yourself a favor and stay away!
My sister &I took our mom to Ashley Homestore to look at living room furniture. We were greeted by Denzel. He was amazing. Mom choose an 11 piece living room set that was on sale. Denzel did not pressure us. He offered advice based on what we was looking for and helped with setting up the delivery of furniture. When we first walked into the store none of the other sales associates came to us, only Denzel. He was professional, nice and courteous.
BUYER BEWARE. I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve been lied to. I purchased furniture at the beginning of February to be delivered no later than April 3rd. I have been told it arrived in the warehouse to be told a day later one of the pieces “left the warehouse” and they didn’t know where they went. Bill Foley and Omar Rosen will say anything to get you off the phone. No lie is unreasonable AND they charge your credit card in full at time of order, NOY delivery. After the date of gaurenteed delivery came and went, I expressed my desire to cancel the order. According to the contract you can do that “with a prompt, full refund.” What they leave off the contract is that you must be at the store in person to cancel. Ofer Rosen said it was genuinely an “impossibility” for them to cancel. The computer did not have the capabilities. To avoid the headache of going back to the store, I went through 3 other dates of gaurenteed delivery. *spoiler alert- I never got the furniture* When I told them I was coming to the store to loudly complain and cancel- guess what they magically found the capability to do- cancel my order. They will lie and evade. Avoid, avoid, avoid.
Went looking for a dinning room set. They hound you the second you walk in, and then was offered $2,900 for a set we liked. They "went to the manager" and got it down to $2,500 but made it seem painful on their end. I looked up the set online and it was available for $1,799 with an additional chair to boot. Quality of their furniture is nice but don't trust the sales people/managers there. Trying to rip people off.

The WORST. DO NOT SHOP HERE. I have been buying Ashley furniture for years and will never again as the last two have been terrible. First, you can not call the store you buy from. The phone system is a loop that will not let you get to them. Secondly they cancelled the delivery on me 3 times. When hey finally showed they we're missing two pieces and broke a third. Tool 40 minutes to talk to someone who basically said either accept the furniture or get a refund. Meanwhile I have a 3 year old who now has no furniture. When I asked to speak to a manager I was told, you need to email the board of directors. What a joke. Company has become a scam. Don't do it to yourself. Buy somewhere else.
I knew which sofa I was buying. Sherry the sales rep was accommodating and friendly. Seamless transaction. Delivery smooth. Delivery guys made it even after the snow storm. Wow!
I called the store and spoke to Trevor, who went out of his way to text message me pictures of a hutch I was asking about. He then gave me information on a table pad to fit my table. Trevor was professional, friendly, and did not rush me with my many questions. I will definitely use Ashley Furniture again, for my future furniture needs, because I came away from this experience trusting Trevor that he will work hard to have me remain a satisfied customer.

We were greated by Denzel in our quest to find a new sofa. Best salesperson, hands down. Knew his store, knew his products, guided us with options we didn't think of. We made two trips and Denzel was patient knowledgeable and kind both times. We loved his attention to detail and to us. He wasn't pushy and we liked his pace. If we didn't like something we quickly moved on. No hard selling, which we so appreciated. Denzel is amazing, personable, funny and smart we both clicked with him from the start. I would do what you can to keep him, maybe a raise, because he is going to go far and someone will scoop him up because of his smarts, personality and professionalism. I wanted to comment on my experience at Ashley's in Eatontown, NJ and a special representative that I had the pleasure of dealing with there. I had started to post comments and since I am not a savvy computer person, I do not know if it posted, so here I go again. My husband and I have been looking for a certain look for our new home. After going to Ashley's, we met a charming designer Katie Bettencourt. At first I was given the impression that Katie was a district manager by her knowledge of the all the styles and manufactures details. Katie's patience and her creative eye give me ideas that I never even dreamed of. Her vision has inspired me go in a whole different direction. Her insight and recommendations has me thrilled. Did I know that Ashley's has home interior decorators come to your home and for no additional charge. Our experience with Katie was delightful. I look forward to her ideas, recommendations, designs and anythings else she can shed to bring to my new French county design to reality.

I purchased a set of six chairs when they were delivered one was broken. I took the broken chair back to the store the next day. The manager tried to give me a floor model which I did not accept. He said he would order a new chair for me and I would have it in a week. I opted to pick the chair up from the showroom. A week past I got no call from anybody so I called them. You cannot call the show room directly rather you call a customer service Who gets in touch with the showroom. To make a long story short I emailed the manager and called customer service about a half a dozen times. To his credit the manager called me back twice but left no information on the message just to call him back? Of course when did I got customer service where one person said why are you so upset, it's just a chair. In any event a month later I still did not have my chair. The manager said it just takes long to deliver from the factory warehouse funny because when I bought six chairs they delivered in a week now that they have to replace A broken one there is no chair a month later. So I made arrangements to go back to the showroom get my money back for the chair and go down the road to value city to buy the same exact chair without any headaches. I will never shop at Ashley furniture again and recommend that you do not either.
Vanessa (sales rep) is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The staff is frienly and not too pushy. They give you time to look around and see your options. They help with lowering prices to help you save some money. We all know that new furniture is not cheap. They knock down the price and make shopping on a budget seem comfortable. They also have a wide variety of style and taste.
The best and shining star in this store is Katie Bettencourt! What a unbelievable furniture expert. I only will by from her, she knew her product, features and benefits of all things on the floor and best of all dealing with her was like dealing with family.... Good family. I'll be back for more, it was worth going to this Ashley and meeting her. Don't buy from anyone else......she is honest and sincere.

I recently purchased over $3000 worth of furniture and when I called customer service because one of my brand-new lamps stopped working they told me we don't honor accessories and that was their answer. They said they were unable to replace it and I highly recommend no one shop at this type of the store unless you only want to have a product that last two or three months.
Katie was our saleswoman and she was the absolute best. She listened, could Invision what we wanted and took care of us. Quality furniture as well. Very happy!

Our Design Specialist Karen was extremely helpful. She took us around the store to make sure we saw all of our options but wasn't your typical pushy sales person. She pointed us in the right direction without being overbearing and really listened to what we were looking for. She took note of what we liked about certain pieces and then made suggestions according to what we wanted. Overall, we were very happy with our experience.
Great assortment of furniture for evey room in the house. Prices are comparable to other stores but the salespeople are really friendly and not pushy at all. They actually take the time to understand what you're looking for so they can show you the right furniture. I was surprised to see outdoor furniture as well which was really nice. Even though I'm closer to the toms river store i drive to Eatontown simply because the staff is so great.

TERRIBLE! 1st they delivered the wrong furniture. THEN, I was forced to buy the 5 year extended warranty because of the sale they were having. I actually ended up needing it only to find that I was provided NOTHING about it. No company name, number or specifics. I called and got the info only to find that the 3rd party company they use is WORTHLESS! It takes weeks upon weeks for anything to be resolved. I did not have that time as my issue was that the side part of my table was popped up and sticking out with jagged sharp edges. I have a toddler who bumps into everything and it could cause her harm. There was nothing I could do to help fix the issue during the claims process or I would jeopardize the claim, if they covered it at all. I called Ashley for help and was told they could do nothing as I purchased the warranty and its my job to deal with the company. All they could do was send an email. I asked to be refunded the amount of the warranty and was told no. So now I have a dangerous table that I have to do something with so no one gets hurt and in turn null and void the warranty I didn't want to begin with. DON'T BUY FURNITURE AT ASHELY AND DO NOT GET THE 5 YEAR PROTECTION PLAN!!!! IT IS WORTHLESS.

A few months back, my wife and I went to an Ashley Home Store in Freehold NJ with our three kids to buy a new living room set and a mater bedroom set. We were ignored the entire time we were in the store, about an hour. Not one salesperson, not one associate approached us while we walked around, measured furniture and tested out beds. We ended up leaving and vowed never to return to an Ashley store. This week, my wife and I randomly drove by the Ashley Home Store in Eatontown. We decided to talk through and look at a few dinning room tables. We expected to walk in, get ignored, quickly walk through the store and leave. As soon as we stepped through the door, we stopped at the first table we saw and within a minute we were greeted by Karen. Before Karen even tried to sell us the table we were looking at, she asked us what we were looking for exactly, our style, what furniture we have in our home and how big of a piece we needed. She actually took the time to understand our style and taste instead of blindly walking us to each table that they carry. She showed us four different tables that were exactly what we would want. Karen never left our side, showed us how to operate the leaf of the tables we were looking at, helped us decide if we wanted a drop leaf or one we had to store, chairs v. benches, bar height v. formal dinning. The entire experience was just amazing. Once we decided on THE table, she did everything she could to make sure we remained in our budget. Karen did not try to push us into a more expensive set or talk us out of a cheaper set. She was just focused on which we both liked better and let us take as much time as we needed. There is nothing worse then a pushy salesperson, and Karen was the furthest thing from that. She actually took the time to listen to what we liked, kept us away from things we weren't crazy about and didn't focus on unrealistic price points. Karen doesn't know this yet, but I am about to give her a call to add a dresser that we saw on the way out of the store. She is the only person I will buy furniture from here forward. Next, we need a living room set and new bedroom furniture. Ashley Home Store has a customer for life as long as Karen is our salesperson!
My husband and I began the search for a new sofa about two weeks ago. We used Ashely Furniture in the past and decided to go back. We were approached by a wonderful sales Associate, Katie B. She was absolutely WONDERFUL! We did not know exactly what we wanted and Katie walked around the entire store taking us through each item we "maybe" liked. My husband is 6'5 and finding furniture that is comfortable for him is quite difficult. Katie NEVER once rushed us or made us feel like she was "stalking" us as we walked around the store. Not only was she wonderful the first day we went in but she showed us the same courtesy the next two times we went. FInally by the third visit we had decided on the sectional we wanted and we ended up getting a new coffee table and tv stand! For anyone interested in purchasing anything from Ashley Furniture of Eatontown make sure you ask for Katie B. !!
Okay furniture selection I didn't find anything that interested me, pushy sales techniques typical buy now the sales are going to end without notice, blah blah blah buy buy. Just kinda seems silly
I placed an order for a bedroom set in October. I was told at the time I placed the order some items were delayed but I would receive a phone call in a few days to confirm availability of all items. I waited 3 business days and received no call. So I reached out to customer service. They were very polite but were unable to assist as this matter is apparently handled by the store. They advised me they would reach out to the store and I should receive a call the next day. Again I waited, no phone call. So I reached out again and received the same response. Finally, when the manager of the store reached out to me he gave me an update on the information. The bed, mattress, dresser, and chest of drawers would be available in a few weeks. The night stands would be available in early December. I agreed to this delivery schedule and waited. I received no call backs in November to schedule the delivery date. When I finally reached out to customer service, I got a similar run around as before. Finally the manager reached out to me to schedule the exact delivery. He also informed me that the night stands were delayed further but promised them before Christmas, a full 2 months after I placed the order. I received the first shipment without incident. The delivery crew was very nice, quick, and quiet (important in an apartment building). They delivered, setup, and were gone in about 20 minutes. I was very happy. Now I waited for the night stands. December 20th rolls around and I don't hear anything. So I reach out to the store and I am informed the night stands won't be available until January. We schedule a delivery for 19 Jan 2017, almost 3 months after I placed the order. At this point, I am extremely unhappy. However, there isn't anything I can do to speed things along. So I wait. On 12 Jan 2017, unbeknownst to me an email is sent to my email address requesting a signature to release the nightstands for delivery. It ends up in my spam folder and do not see it until 18 Jan 2017, the day before my delivery is scheduled. I have already received confirmation phone calls from the delivery company confirming the date and time of the delivery. I quickly print out the form, sign it, and email it back. I expressed my displeasure with the way the situation was handled. I requested that they remove me from their marketing database and to have no further contact as I no longer wished to do business with them. Their email response was extremely dismissive and simply stated "When I wrote the email it is stated that until the form was signed you wouldn’t receive your furniture. Now that we have it, we can process it." Funny thing is, I received this response AFTER the delivery team showed up and delivered the furniture. They didn't bother to confirm that I received the email. They didn't think it odd that, the day before the scheduled delivery, they still didn't have release authorization from me, and yet they STILL released the furniture. Once again, the delivery team was very nice, quick, and quiet. Overall, I was extremely dissatisfied with Ashley Furniture, not for the delays per se, sometimes delays are unavoidable. I am dissatisfied for their lack of customer service, dismissive and uncaring employees, and poor ability to communicate. The delivery guys get all 5 stars and my thanks for a great job.

Vanessa was so pleasant during this stressful time, I can't say enough of about Eatontown's Ashley HomeStore. Very pleased and grateful for such a great experience with such an awesome staff!
They have a nice selection of furniture and we found plenty of things that we liked. Customer service plays a big part in how I rate my experience. This store has proven they appreciate their customers. Would gladly return and recommend this store.

Please save yourself the trouble and do not order from them!! The worst furniture experience of my life. First we order a couch a month away from when we expect it to be delivered. Then two days before our delivery date, we get an EMAIL, not even a phone call, that our couch is out of stock and won't be in for another 4 months! So we had no other choice but to pick out another couch, had to wait another two weeks, and when the furniture got here, it didn't come with the pillows we were promised. When we called the store, we get a nasty girl saying the couch didn't come with pillows nor did we buy them. Absolute chaos and will never be ordering from them again.
Buyers Beware! I purchased an entire home's worth of furniture at Ashley's. We were sure to purchase the warranty in case of any problems with our pieces. Our couch continually breaks over and over again and Ashley's will not replace it. We called customer service this morning and were laughed at over the phone. (I know this is hard to believe.) If you want a quality product and to be treated with respect do business elsewhere, after less than a year it looks like we will have to invest in a new couch.
Negative Stars. The WORST customer service, not only did I catch a manager in a lie, the only thing she admitted that she could do was WASTE MY TIME. You can be certain I have cancelled my order and will NOT be stepping foot in one of these stores again.
Letter I wrote, still did not receive a response. A woman left a message just a name no extension. When I called back several times she was still away from her desk: On January 7th, I took the day off work to wait for the delivery. They had called an hour before my scheduled time and asked if it would be ok to deliver now. It was not an issue, because like I said I had taken the day off work. The men arrived and I showed them where they would be setting it up. One man put together the bedframe, while the other brought the boxsprings up. I was speaking to one of the men, and I asked if there was going to be an issue bringing the mattress up, and how they fit it through a standard size door. He looked at me and said they could manage, and went back out to the truck. When he came up he informed me that the mattress was not on the truck. Now this posed more than one problem for me; one I had already cleared out my old bedset that morning in preparation for the delivery, and two; I had to take off work to get this delivery and basically forfeited a days worth of pay to do so. He came back up with another man; I'm assuming a driver, and he said that dispatch would call me to arrange another delivery. Dispatch called me about 10 minutes later. The service member Corrine apologized and said I should have been notified that the mattress did not come in earlier and at that point could have rescheduled the delivery. She said that the earliest she could get it to me would be next Wednesday. That was completely unacceptable to me, and would be to most people, because again I had lost a whole day of work and already given away my only bedset. At that point, I explained what I mentioned above, and she said unfortunately that was the only time I could get it. I responded with have your delivery drivers come get the boxspring and frame and I will take my business elsewhere. She put me on hold for about 10-15 minutes and came back with “will Sunday work”? I said no, but today will work. After I was put on hold again, she came back on and asked if Saturday would work? Again, I said no. Finally she said we could have it to you tomorrow Friday January 8th. I accepted that, and gave her my mothers contact information because she would be the only one that could be here to receive it. Now, with all that said; how does your delivery service actually work? How can you have someone say, “Thursday is the earliest,” and then, after a little effort have a truck deliver it the next day? To me that just spells LAZY. If I never made a big deal about this, your customer service rep would have done the easy thing and sent it on the next truck in my area. It almost makes me think I could have got it the same day; which would have been the right thing, if just a little more effort were put forth. The bottom line is that I will never purchase another thing from your store. I have bought all of my large furniture items from your store after I purchased my first home, and love your selection, but the truth is, Value City Furniture, or Bob’s Discount Furniture will be will be getting my business from now on. I don’t understand how this problem/issue could not be remediated in the same workday, seeing that it was 11 AM and your North Brunswick store is only about 45 minutes from my home. I was offered no discount for my inconvenience, simply and apology, 20+ minute phone call with your delivery company, a missed day of work, and a night sleeping on a blow-up mattress. If you plan on keeping your customers, especially with other local furniture stores running similar deals, I suggest you do a little more to keep your customers happy.
Trashed my house on delivery with garbage on the floor and a massive hole in the wall trying to bring in a sofa (the crew tried to talk me into not reporting them), I was promised a new sofa, which never arrived, and nobody *ever* answers the phone--no matter what time of day I try calling. To have any sort of communication with them, you have to literally go to the store where they will tell you any number of lies just to get you out of the building. Of course nobody followed up to fix the damage to my home or to bring me the sofa I paid for, so they basically stole my money as I paid for a sofa that never materialized. Getting the damage repaired that they caused is probably a lost cause. Horrible business. Will be contacting consumer affairs.
I went in the store 2 weeks ago to browse, and came up on a great sale. Of course the saleswoman was extremely helpful and we took most of her time that day. We ended up purchasing a beautiful bedroom set and an amazing dining room set which seats 10 and is just what we were expectantly looking for. The manager was great and had a wonderful sense of humor and made us feel like our business was important to him. He went over and beyond. Thank You
Amazing experience! Great customer service and attentiveness from staff from beginning to end. They are not too pressuring like other stores, but are willing to walk around with you and answer any questions you have. If you want great service, amazing quality furniture, and reasonable prices - go to ASHLEY! The delivery was on time and they set everything up perfectly in less than an hour! We will be going back!
We have now bought two pieces of furniture from Ashley, a sectional sofa and most recently a dining room table. After scouring the area, we found items we liked, the salespeople were friendly and helpful, not pushy, and the price was affordable. Great value for the money. People are "surprised" we got them from Ashley!

They have a very large showroom which encompasses 2 floors in a convenient location across from the mall in Eatontown. Since it is a large showroom we noticed they had more selections than almost any other furniture store, including other Ashleys. The salespeople there spent a great deal of time helping us and were knowledgeable. They also worked with us to give us the maximum discounts possible. I definitely recommend taking a trip to check out this store.
In a survey Ashley asked me to rate the store on family friendliness. I gave it a 9. Then it asked me to come and give it positive review here for a $50 gift card.
purchased a cocktail table... was told to pickup on 2/12... arrived to pick up...customer service said piece was not in due to snowstorm.....however it had not even snowed yet and the last snow was 1 1/2 weeks prior to this date. I advised them that my little Honda has been getting around the state all week and that I find it hard to believe their big delivery trucks weren't getting around. she told me at that time she would call me with a new date...never received that call......called back...lack of call back was blamed on email....I was under the impression email was even faster....must have a dial up service....called back again...now they will call me tomorrow......we shall see......sure wish they would have used that thing called the telephone to tell me the piece wasn't in....instead they let us drive there for the disappointing news....loosing faith that I will ever get the cocktail table....will definitely follow up with tomorrow's expected call from Jara at customer service..I will say that this is a new experience....have bought here before with much better results...I am an angry consumer today
