This was unfortunately our first and last experience with Ashley Furniture. We visited the store, liked a couch, and decided to purchase it. While buying, we specifically warned the sales representative about the stairs in our home and told her we were concerned it might not fit. She repeatedly insisted it would fit and never mentioned the option of breaking the couch option which would have been important information for us to know upfront. A week later, when the couch was delivered, the delivery team said they couldn’t get it up the stairs — and honestly, they barely even tried. We called Ashley Furniture and spoke with another representative who finally told us about the “breaking the couch” option, saying it would cost $170. At that point, we had no other choice and agreed. We were told we’d receive a call back, but hours went by with no response. That evening, we went back to the store in person, and only as we were walking in did they finally call us. The original sales representative approached us, but we felt she wasn’t going to help, so we asked to speak with a manager instead. The manager said, “She doesn’t know everything yet,” which was frustrating but at least he tried to help. He recommended a few people who could break the couch and did not charge us for delivery again, which we appreciated. However, when the couch finally arrived today, the workers who came to “break” the couch ended up damaging our walls instead. At this point, I honestly don’t even know what to say anymore. Between poor communication, lack of transparency, delivery issues, and now damage to our home, this experience has been extremely disappointing. I would not recommend Ashley Furniture based on our experience.

Alex was absolutely wonderful to work with. He was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and never made us feel rushed or pressured while we were choosing our couch. He really took the time to listen to what my husband and I were looking for and helped us find something that fit our space and style perfectly. The whole experience felt easy and stress-free because of him. We’re so happy with our purchase and grateful for Alex’s help — highly recommend working with him!

If I could give this store ZERO stars I would! I ordered three sofas on 11/7 and was promised they’d be here in time for the holidays! This Fairfield store has lied to me multiple times giving me four different delivery dates!!! I drove to the store in person THREE separate times only to be given the run around, etc. manager Tim Houston finally helped me while I stood there for close to an hour and told me they’d be delivered 12/23 and I have the print out as confirmation. Well guess what, yesterday was 12/23 and I got an email that my order was being delivered for only ONE LOVESEAT to arrive! The delivery guys were clueless as to where the other couch and loveseat were. So I drove to the Fairfield store for a separate manager to tell me that they aren’t even in stock!!!! And they aren’t showing as available until 12/30! I had no couches for Thanksgiving and now I have one loveseat for Christmas. Your company lies and you don’t call any customers back!!! This is unacceptable and for any customers out there stay away from this store at all costs!!! All they do is lie and avoid you!! So glad I spent $5k on furniture just to have NO CLUE WHEN IT IS ACTUALLY COMING! 8 weeks and nonstop lies is absolutely unacceptable and disgusting. You should be ashamed of yourselves to leave a customer hanging like this. I wouldn’t be so angry if I was told from the beginning it would take 8+ weeks to receive my order and I even offered to come in and pick out a new one and I was told no don’t worry about it. You guys literally are the absolute worst. Thank you for ghosting me and leaving me with no furniture for the holidays.

Amazing service and very genuine people! Make sure you try their hot chocolate, and my only critique is that all staff should also get to indulge - it’s delicious!! Adolphy was fantastic and a huge help. Highly recommend the location on Rt. 46 on Fairfield.

I went into Ashley after going to several different furniture stores not sure what I wanted to get, but had something in mind and I was welcomed By Delvin Who was not only friendly, but was willing to hear what I have to say and to point me in the right direction. Between Delvin and Alex, They were determined to ask the necessary information to help me get the sofa that I needed for the holidays. Alex was very informative of providing me the details on the final sale and I am happy that I made the purchase with them.
