To Store Upper Management, I usually don’t write negative reviews but I have had to due to inconvenience I have had in past two months regard to my existing order for a sectional sofa. Initially, when I went to the store, sales person name Pedro Alvarez, dealt with my wife and I. We liked few sectional couches, among which one of the couches had a delivery date of one weeks to two weeks. My wife really liked the couch which had a custom ordering option and would take about 2 months of a delivery time. Since, we wanted a couch asap, we decided to order a couch which according to Pedro was going to get delivered in few days. We went ahead and ordered it so we could get the couch in a week or two since my brother was getting married and we have had a lot of guests coming over. Pedro informed us to get the estimated delivery date after 48 hours of placing an order. We called several times to Pedro and store to get the tracking of the delivery but no one was able to provide that information. After two weeks, we finally got a hold of Pedro, and he was really rude to us and he mentioned that the couches take two weeks to get delivered and will be delivered soon. I even spoke to the store manager, and he said the same thing. We waited for two weeks patiently and still didn’t get any notification of our furniture getting delivered anytime soon. My brother’s wedding was over by then, we have had a lot of guests over and they were all sitting on the floor because of this misled information provided by Ashley Freehold store. Now it has been almost two months and on 11/21 I received a call from delivery scheduler that my couch will be delivered on Wednesday the 11/26. I invited friends and family for thanksgiving dinner on 11/27 knowingly my couches will get delivered by 11/26. Tonight 11/25 at 5pm, I received a call from delivery scheduler about one of the pieces are broken due to mishandling of the shipping and unfortunately they won’t be able to deliver the couch and they would have to order that piece again and now God knows when this sofa will ever get delivered. I am giving up on this, because I have invested enough time and money as of now. At this point, I just hate Ashley furniture for their misleading information about orders. Even the customer service sucks and not helpful at all. I have never had any of these issues with any furniture stores. Honestly, Ashley team sucks from top to bottom. Usually upper management has an authority to take actions for customers, but sorry to say, no one has enough guts to step up and help the customers out. I am highly dissatisfied and disappointed with the customer service. I have had constant inconvenience since past two months. I have had to cancel my thanksgiving dinner at this very last minute and I blame Ashley for all of this. I hope this review reaches out to someone who is responsible or someone who really cares about their customers. My boyfriend and I came in to buy several pieces of furniture, and Jeff was incredible throughout the entire process.
