Terrible... they convinced me to take the insurance on the furniture and told me if I had no claims in 5 years I would get a credit of the same amount on my next purchase. Twice I called to get this credit and twice I was told I would be called back about it. No return calls were made and I never received the credit on my last purchase. I will never shop here again.
Everything was easy and comfortable for me to buy, the seller with a lot of experience and knowledge helped me get a good mattress and dresser. Thank you very much for your kindness and attention.
I went to Ashley in Ledgewood looking for furniture for my new apartment. Joe Scafa was beyond incredible to work with. His knowledge and expertise on all the furniture, past and present at Ashley's, was second to none. He spent almost 2 hours reviewing all the options, moving furniture around on the floor so I could get a visual of how things looked together and coming up with alternative pieces that fit what I wanted. He made the entire process a pleasant, fun experience. I ended up finding pieces I liked better at another Ashley store but went back and placed my order with Joe because of how wonderful he was. I would recommend this spacious, clean location and Joe to anyone looking for good quality furniture pieces and someone passionate about them to trust during the buying process.

Worst company to ever deal with, they are happy to take your money but never help at all. Go elsewhere, this is your warning

Shopper Beware!! Ask questions, get everything in writing and take pics of all signage. Our salesperson was lovely and unfortunately for her, we cancelled our entire purchase due to horrid customer service. "Once it's in your home, it's yours," that's the quote of their return policy. We were told we could remove items from our order before delivery and when we did that, they wanted to charge a restocking fee. No thanks and never again!!

I been customer for so many years with Ashley never have problems with my orders my daughter purchased sofas they came bought defective so my daughter called customer service the guy was so rough so disrespectful doesn't have no idea what is customer service I work at retail un bolivabe he's hendeling customer service positions so we sende back both sofas he said he will change my daughter restacking fees for they mistake shi have to pay so that's the reason I geve Ashley one star because they have an educated person working

The experience with this store was terrible. I have been purchasing furniture with Ashley’s furniture for years and never had a problem until now. I purchased Sofa, Loveseat and a half. They sent moving men out that didn’t know how to properly bring my items in my household. They told me it’s too big n wide when I have a Sofa in my house right now that I moved in. I was listening to the one guy complain about he couldn’t push the sofa up and one is saying push. They were even struggling bringing the other items up also. I spoke to someone on the phone they told me to refuse the delivery so I did . I went to the store personally and spoke to The Office manager Regina told me that if I wanted my money back I would have to pay a 25% fee says who where in my paperwork does it say that no where. the General Manager Mark didn’t have a clue at all. They are all clearly getting high in that store I walked out before I got angry. I have tried to call n speak to someone everyone gave me the run around. I don’t even want any service from that store but for them to run me my coins $2400.00 worth. I shouldn’t have to look for another item because I paid for what I wanted and that’s that. The last time I spoke to them was 4/11/2024 and haven’t heard anything since. Terrible service and the people that’s delivering the furniture are not professional movers at all they are weak.

Customer service is HORRENDOUS! We ordered a new dining room set which had a manufacture’s defect upon delivery. They sent TWO separate service people out to try to fix the problem, but they determined about 4 weeks ago, that they cannot. We are waiting to see when they are sending out a replacement, but they are not calling me back and every time I call them, I am told their system is down and I am kept on hold for quite some time. This is absolutely our last time ordering from them. It has been 4 months and we STILL have a defective, unusable piece of furniture!
I just had a great experience at the Ashley Homestore in Ledgewood NJ. Bolu (aka Blue) was the sales associate on the floor. He was so helpful and so so patient. My elderly mom will be moving in with me and I needed to buy a bed for her. She was feeling all too well today and he really show genuine concern for my mom. He took the time to explain all the different options that were available (height and firmness). Blue made sure that we took advantage of all the sales available for Easter. This not for the Ledgewood store, but for Ashley as a company. Worst furniture purchasing experience of my life! I ordered a couch online that showed available. They took my money. They gave me a confirmation number and a delivery date. When I called a few days prior to get a delivery time window, they proceeded to tell me the couch was no longer available and my order was cancelled. What if I didn't call? I'd take a day off of work to be sitting home waiting for a couch that never comes. Meanwhile, it still shows in-stock online! Their customer service is terrible and of no use. Buy elsewhere!

My husband and I just bought and new living room set at Ashley Homestore in Ledgewood. Our sales representative, Erica was extremely kind, patient and knowledgable and helped us to customize a set to be exactly what we were looking for. I had a wonderful experience at this Ashley furniture store. Joe met me at the door and walked me through to find the tables I wanted. Once we did Joe put together a nice package and Regina and Carl were excellent when checking out.
Bolu helped us to pick a very elegant furniture for us today. He was very patient with our questions and the experience was smooth. Definitely recommend! Update : we initially chose a product and came to know that it is not in stock . So we opted for a product that was in stock and the sales person clearly told me the delivery would be on 26th . Fast forward to 26th , they say they don’t have the exact date of the product availability . Not at all happy with this ! Update : called on 1st of April and they say their systems are down and don’t know when they can deliver the products . Seems like whoever sold us the stuff had no clue what’s going on !

Came in for a sleeper sofa and Bolu was super helpful. Took us right back to the area and opened each one for us. We have space limitations and he measured each couch so we could see which would be the best fit. I would definitely recommend the store and Bolu again.
purchased the second cheapest queen mattress in the store and they sold me a non refundable box spring for 300 dollars that I ended up not needing. Found out the 300 dollar box spring is the most expensive box spring they sell so why sell me the most expensive one for a cheapo mattress. Also there is no direct number to the store and you can only talk to people that sound like they are in an international call center.

Struggled and saved and shopped around and finally decided on Ashley for dining set (with six chairs) and twin bed (and mattress). Was told they would work with me on price, but that did not happen. (What else was I expecting?) Delivery men damaged both pieces which I did not see until after they left because they were in a hurry (after gracious tips and drinks for the road). Called immediately about damage and set up redelivery. Had to kick and scream to get another Saturday delivery (I work during week and needed this corrected asap bc family in town for an event). Was told between 12:00 and 4:00 pm (the use of the word “estimate” was not mentioned). Planned my day accordingly. After 5:00 pm still not here. After many phone calls was told that 12:00 and 4:00 pm is an “estimated” delivery time and it could be up to 8:00 pm. Guess my punishment for complaining? NO FAULT OF MINE. I WILL NEVER ORDER FURNITURE FROM ASHLEY AGAIN AND WILL BE RETURNING FURNITURE AND GET REIMBURSED. Regretfully, Sandra G.

The 1 start is not so much for the store itself but Ashley's furniture overall. I recently bought a dual power recliner. It showed up hard as a rock. I know it takes time to break in but this things is never going to be comfortable. Ever... Tried calling to return and there policy is 72 hrs. We didn't even site on it during that time frame. It's now been 3 week and still unbelievably uncomfortable. They 100% have different models on the floor. Now I'm stuck with unusable furniture..

My daughter is very picky but she finally found something she liked with the help of a wonderful associate, Sarah, (pls ask for her when you go) who is well informed on both items, and worked with our price range! Although the mattress she wanted was over our price range the manager brought it down, with much ease, to something we could well afford. Everyone was very helpful and I am grateful for their assistance in helping my daughter create a cozy bedroom she will love!

We went to pay and his manager informed us that they made a mistake and gave us the wrong price. They would not honor the agreed-upon price, and our total of the door went up by hundreds no regard for customer service or satisfaction.

Our salesperson was very nice. But they could not and would not give us any ETA whatsoever on when we could expect our couch. We were originally told 12/22, then it was end of December, then it was "could be January, it's hard to say." So we canceled our order and bought a couch from raymour and flanigan, which was delivered 3 days later. Again, the staff was nice but I don't like paying for something that you can't even tell me when I'll receive it.

Pushy sales people. Walked in within 2 minutes a sales woman Carmen came up, politely informed her my wife and I were looking and if we needed anything we would find her and talk to her. 2 minutes later the manager came up, informed him the same. Then the entire time we were looking at furniture the 2 were like hawks waiting to pounce a dead animal. They again approached together about 5 minutes after the second encounter to see if we wanted any help again. At this point we informed them that we will shop elsewhere as I don't need to be hassled the entire time we're looking at an expensive purchase like this. If you don't like being hassled and like to take your time to figure out what you like this isn't the place for you.

Having gone to three furniture stores in one day, I can say I had the worst customer experience here today. Upon walking in and explaining to the front door salesman (Joe S) how I’m here to browse couches and will come find him if I have questions, I was told that I can’t be ‘left alone’ as his manager and other leadership members are here which made me feel oddly uncomfortable but understood the meaning behind his poorly chosen words. While browsing, I was approached again by the same point who stated he can “help me with my math” in determining my room size while I had yet to find a couch I liked. My experience here was uncomfortable; safe to say I do not see myself coming here again. Post visiting the store, I called customer service to provide feedback on the service. Regina from customer service listened to me and said she will call me back since it was ‘getting busy at the desk’ and did empathize, but never called me back. I repeat I will never step foot in this store again.

Pros: store employees are great. Cons: Ashley furniture quality control standards and delivery people need serious improvement. I ordered a lot of furniture from this store recently. My first couch was damaged so I sent it back. I had to wait several weeks to get the second one. My second couch was defective. The wood for both arms of the couch was sticking out and my son got hurt on it. They had to send a tech to fix it, which took a few weeks. Also, my headboard was a different color than the rest of my bed. That went back and the second one is better, but still isn't right. It's off-white and the bed is white. The rest of the furniture and my rug is nice. Some delivery people are good and some bad. The first one gave me a really hard time. He pretended not to see the headboard color problem, and tried to minimize the couch damage. He didn't want to take back the furniture. He didn't install the doors correctly on my TV stand (which the service technician came and repaired). He also didn't clean up his mess and left packing material all over the furniture and the floor. So much for white glove service. The second delivery team was great. Based upon my experience, I will think twice before buying Ashley furniture again.
Best store, best furniture, best prices, and best experience! My wife and I were back at Ashley furniture store for a second time in two weeks. Brendan did such an amazing job helping us narrow down and buy our bedroom set and our awesome king mattress last week that we decided to head back today, find Brendan again, and buy our entire living room set. I highly recommend Ashley furniture in Ledgewood. Find Brendan, find your ideal furniture, and then tell Brendan that since he gave Danny & Beth their 20% off, now you want yours too! It truly was a pleasurable experience!
Buy from this store if you want to lose money, and time, have frustration and put your life in dangerous. _Yes , you will lose money if you need to go to work and they do not have a delivery day according to your schedule. You will need to be all day waiting for the delivery and the delivery will not have your furniture or it will have an incorrect part which will be impossible to assembly it. In my case 5 days. Do you calculation and see if you will be able to handle it.The only thing that they will do it. I am sorry about that, and promise you a credit of $100 but you will never receive it. The seller “Sarah” promised me a credit of $ 100 but she never returned my calls after the inconvenience. _Frustration , and put your life in dangerous. You will have to give a complete information of the order, your address, name, last name, phone number when you call about anything, they say that is for security but they do not act like that when they send a delivery to you home. If you are calling from the same phone number that is on the order they still will make you say everything before talk to you, but the delivery will not call you telling about the delivery time, it will show on your door without any identification, and want you to open your door. They will walk to your home with a duty shoes and you cannot ask to clean because they will scream at you and intimidate you with body language making you uncomfortable on your own house. After that they will open the windows and put their music loud(inappropriately) without your consent. They will take off the Tshirt .If you have an stranger doing all things like this on your house and you alone with your kids. Are you will feel comfortable? It happed to me. _The furniture is okay but after 5 times bringing it on the truck and removed the boxes. It is not stable and shakes a little bit but I had to keep it because I was sleeping 18 days on the couch because the delivery team asked me to remove all the old furniture and have space for the new furniture but what they did not explain is that it will not delivery the new furniture, and took more than a months to get my room set on my house. Never follow their instruction because they do not care about your situation. They care to get your money.
Had a great experience with Joe Scafa… took me a few visits to decide exactly what I needed. He had the patience and the knowledge on what I was looking for with some added humor to lightened up the stressful decision. I now have my new sectional and love it!

Horrible customer service! Our bed frame broke within 2 weeks. We called multiple times to report it. We sent the required emails and pictures. We have been reporting this issue for 2 weeks now and still have not gotten ANY response! We spent over $4000! We also bought our mattress through Ashley and the mattress handle was defective.

The worst place ever, I couldn't believe to what happened today.... I have purchased a sectional sofa and a oversized chair with ottoman As I was told I have to wait 3 weeks to get it and around another week to get it delivered I have asked if we can pick it up from the warehouse to get it faster, as my son's Bday was coming up...they said yes... So the day we were told that the sofa arrived to warehouse as soon as my husband arrived from work, he drove all the way from Arizona he went strayed to Philadelphia PA (2 hour) drive as our sons B-day next day and we invited friends and we had no sofa as we recently moved... As he arrived to PA he showed an invoice and his driving license and he was told he cannot pick it up as he has different Last name and Address on his license... I called the store, I called the warehouse explaining that it's my husband and I have 2 year old and 4 year old and why do I have to be there as u have all the info and permission from me and you asked me bunch of questions to prove that's that my husband....no They said as he has different Last name and address on his license no way he can pick it up without me....I asked for an manager they said they have no manager...Succasunna srore people stopped answering the phone when I called... So I have had to drive for an hour and half one way with 2 kids....and only then I got a call from someone on the warehouse saying that he can pick it up with my permission after he was waiting there for 4,5 hours..... I understand that there are different policies but Noone mentioned at the store that if my husband has different Last name and that if we moved 4 weeks ago and he didn't have chance to change to new address on his license as he was in Arizona for 3 weeks , they were gonna make our experience so horrible I cant explain...won't ever buy anything from Ashley ever again + I compared prices , Raymond and Flanigan has exactly same stuff but at least 15% cheaper!!! ...they have furniture in stock, I was able to get kitchen table in 3 days not 3 weeks, great communication and no problem picking it up...

Rachel is fantastic!!! So friendly and super helpful when we bought our new couches. Top notch customer service from her! UPDATING MY REVIEW !!!! The wedge I bought with my couch set didn’t fit, I tried to return it and after getting the run around for WEEKS, I am now stuck with a 1,000 dollar wedge with nowhere to put it!!! I was told the restock fee would be waived, then I was told all I needed to do was pay the 150$ pick up fee, then I was told I needed to buy something else equal to the amount of 25% (250$) of the 1,000$ wedge, then I was told I needed to buy something FIRST for 250$ before they could pick up. THEN I was told I needed to buy ANOTHER wedge for the equal price of the one I have and I will get a 250$ credit. Their guest services are a bunch of FRAUDS and you will get scammed if you want to return ANYTHING! After 10 years of buying furniture here I will NEVER spend another dime on anything.

So, after an exhaustive search of some outdoor furniture, we landed back at Ashley Furniture of Ledgewood. We did stop there during “Round 1” of searching, where we met our salesperson, Rachel Byrne. She was polite, knowledgable, and showed us a few pieces of furniture. We ultimately left and continued our search as we are super picky, however, found ourselves back at Ashley of Ledgewood the following week. We again spoke with Rachel and had a specific idea of what we wanted. She was engaged and tirelessly worked with the GM and manager to get to where we wanted to be price point. We did nothing other than say no or finally a yes to [very fair] terms she worked out with management. Couldn’t be happier with Rachel and the management team which they provided us a seamless route to victory. It’s nice to know that they do have the consumer in mind and not just a pushy ‘let’s make a deal now’. She fought hard and definitely would return to give her and the store business.

Edit - dropping down rating. - First delivery wouldn't even try to get the couch into my house. Had to visit the store, then call and reschedule delivery. - Second Delivery was able to get the couch in, however the store ordered the wrong layout for the sectional. I had to refuse delivery and visit the store to get another re-order. - Also I was assured the couch had a queen sleeper, when I'm fact it is only a full size sleeper. Rachel was super helpful and made it an easy process to find out couch.

What a world of difference having the right set of people makes to a shopping experience. Put an order at another Ashley location on Labor Day 2022 and almost 5 months later was still without my furniture so cancelled. Thought of trying my luck at this location with very little expectation but then met with Ray. Not only was he very patient - understood my issue with the previous order - he was also extremely helpful in reordering all my cancelled items from the other store - saving me a ton of time. This store also price matched to boot - thanks to Mark, the manager on duty, who truly leads by example. I have been provided a two week delivery time frame; fingers crossed. Will update this review again once everything is delivered. I usually don't include names in my reviews but both Ray and Mark deserve a special mention for the exemplary service they provided. Update: Everything was delivered on time per the original commitment, finally putting 5 month prices to an end. I suddenly don't have anything to do...... 😀😀!!

NEVER buy from this place - furniture is nice but service is TERRIBLE Bought the extended warranty on a large order and when it was time to call in a claim, took 2+ months just to get the replacements shipped to the warehouse. First they couldn't find my info, then they were unable to file a claim with the warranty company. When I called the warranty provider, they said they never got paid from the store so they couldn't help (my problem again). After over a month they gave me a new wty company to call. Then they wanted to charge for me to have the items shipped to my house and assembled or they were nice enough to have me drive to the warehouse in Philly, pick it up and get it assembled myself. They couldn't even waive the $90 to ship it after putting me through the ringer for 2 months.Thought when you buy nice furniture you would at least be taken care of when it breaks and you pay the insurance. Just order from IKEA - least you will pay less for furniture and to assemble it yourself......

I plan on returning a purchasing from Nick after visiting other furniture store options I returned today and although Nick already working with a new client he suggested I work on the final choice and sale with Ray his associate. Ray was just as knowledgeable and helped my wife and I on the finall arrangements including an additional discount and financing arrangements. We were in and out in about 30 minutes and never at all felt rushed or sitting around waiting unnecessarily. Kudos to Ashley for having a nice selection of furniture and a great team of friendly and knowledgeable customer experience personnel. At point of sale, was told delivery of the sectional would be 6 - 8 weeks and now they are saying 8 - 12 weeks. No updates have been given - every week or so I had to call in to hear more severe delays customer service has been next to zero. I would not have purchased had it been said to be that it was going to be 8 - 12 weeks. For an in stock item????? It doesn't make sense BE AWARE before you purchase.....

Edit: Ashley warranty and customer service is a joke. They promise your purchase will be covered for 5 years with an extra fee. Our couch broke within the first year and the company took forever to get back to us and then denied our claim! Tried to offer us a part for $150 dollars! Will never make another purchase! Farnell was very helpful and attentive. He even carried an ottoman across the store so I could make sure it matched the couch. We love our new couch. The manager was also extremely helpful and personable. Definitely will go back for future purchases.

I had a great experience purchasing a new mattress set at Ashley Furniture. I had an idea of what I wanted and my salesperson, Rachel, was friendly, knowledgeable, and helped me make my final decision. The entire purchase was easy and pleasant.
Please be aware that Ashley furniture will not be bothered by the fact that you received a delivery with missing parts and were unable to put the furniture that you paid for together. I signed an agreement to pay a certain amount for a bed set, including all the parts it was meant to come with. Ashley essentially violated that agreement by delivering the bed set with missing hardware. Here I am 2 months later writing this review and still waiting for them to send me the missing hardware. According to them, it may take an additional month for me to get that missing hardware. How is this acceptable? When I called and asked for a delivery refund, they told me there are no guarantees that I will get one. I'll have to wait a few more weeks most likely for them to officially call me back and decline any sort of refund. Again, how is this acceptable for a paying customer? I will not do business here again.

Ordered a bed and was able to get a delivery date the following week, the bed came- wrong color and a ton of chips all over the headboard. It was sent back, the salesman refused to acknowledge his mistake on entering the wrong time number on my invoice. Had to reorder and reschedule. And then they tell me they are delivering the time at 630 in the morning! Did not take into consideration at all that I live in an apartment building with neighbors. The delivery driver was extremely rude and basically said too bad this is the time now or never. What company delivers to be put together at 630 in the morning??? Terrible experience overall. Will never shop at Ashley furniture again

Sometimes furniture showrooms can be very annoying and follow you around everywhere, but Joe gave me plenty of space to shop, sit, and discuss with my husband, and he was so helpful whenever we had questions. He was professional, very friendly and knew so much about each product off the top of his head. He really did make the whole process of purchasing multiple rooms worth of furniture alot less stressful and much more fun. He was kind and extremely patient as I was pretty indecisive between a few different things, and we really valued his opinion on the coordinating of 2 rooms to make the design flow easier throughout our home. Definitely ask for Joe the next time you shop in the Ledgewood store, you will not be disappointed! I hope the company values the employees like him as much as we do.

I purchased a living room set and a dining room set in July. I also purchased the warranty. I discovered a defect in the dining room chair. Neither the store, corporate, or the warranty company would take responsibility and correct the issue. Hours on the phone with no resolution. I came to the conclusion that it is All defective and low-grade furniture. Warranty is useless, customer service is scripted and useless. They do not stand by their furniture. I gave them another chance even after another previous failure. They lost a sale of a bedroom set I bought through Bob’s Furniture. What an effortless experience with a company that values their customers. Rooms to go was top-notch also.

Ashley furniture store in Sucassunna is great.
Had a very bad experience with them. I ordered and paid for a sleeper sofa that I loved. After 3 months no one contacted me to let me know the couch was discontinued and they weren't going to get it. Held my money all that time. They asked if I wanted to pick a replacement. I refused...just wanted my money back. They lost my business.
I’d give 0 stars if I could. Truly awful customer service. I’ve had a few issues and it takes many call backs from me to get anything straightened out months later. The protection plan is useless- it only covers minors things that you could likely fix yourself and not pet incidents!

Purchased furniture in November. Did not complain about a projected delivery date of April. It's now June. No furniture. Just got a letter, dated from a month ago, INVITING, us to cancel our order because now we are projected to get the furniture sometime in August. Would love to cancel, but have now spent almost 6 hours on hold on the phone. Callback system does not work. Chat does not work. Worst experience I have ever had.

Great spot for looking at various types of home furniture. It's a clean quiet showroom and the best part about it is those sales people pretty much leave you alone until you decide to initiate a conversation with them instead. So much more pleasant that way.
DO NOT. I REPEAT DO NOT GIVE THIS STORE ABSOLUTELY ANY OF YOUR BUSINESS. This has been by far the absolute worst experience I have ever had with any furniture store ever. The incompetence of the staff from salesman and women to managers has been absolutely dumbfounding. The lies are innumerable. From “yes your delivery is scheduled and due on Monday,” to never showing up and offering an apology and 25 dollars as compensation for a whole day off of work. “Missed deadlines,”Or perhaps “managers unavailable,” should be the name of the store. Dont forget these are all franchises and the person who owns this one along with maybe 6 or 7 others clearly doesnt care about staying around long. Go to a different Ashley thats owned by another franchisee. I ordered my couch from them (which I was told was in stock) and another couch from a different Ashley (which i was told was not in stock and I would have a delay) within a few weeks of eachother. Well finally after over 3 months wait I got the “in stock” couch while we have already been comfortably enjoying our “might have a delay” couch for over a month. Again, DO NOT USE THIS STORE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. You will not get your furniture under any plausible timeline, you will not be able to get a hold of them, you will be ignored but hey they will kick you 10 bucks for their incompetence
Ray was a nice salesman who had plenty of promises to make the sale. We felt we got a fair price on a President’s Day sale in January and he said he just sold the same set to another couple who were getting the couch three days later that weekend. He said we’d likely have the same experience and assured us the couch would be in by the time we were having a party two months later because they had a 6-8 week wait time max. Two months later we had one piece of the couch and no updates on when the other two pieces would arrive. I called the store weekly and Ray was always unavailable. I spoke with the manager several times and she offered a credit of $50 for the trouble and said the couches would arrive by the end of March. We scheduled a delivery date of March 30th and I was told it could be one piece or it could be both. March 30th we got a call that the pieces were delayed yet again and they would not be delivering. We called the manager multiple times and were repeatedly told she was unavailable but would call right back. She never called. This was after we had moved all our existing furniture and took off work to be here for them. They then came April 1st and refused to allow us to unpackage the pieces to check that they were correct. He wanted us to sign for delivery without confirming the pieces. We had previously received a shipment with incorrect pieces and refused to sign. They also refused to remove the garbage if we opened the pieces ourselves although that had been previously promised. The manager, who was previously unavailable, called us within two minutes of the driver leaving. She said it was standard procedure for them to deliver packaged and offered $75 for the inconvenience and would not ask the driver to return for the garbage. For three days of work missed (one for the piece that was delivered in January, one for the missed delivery and one for the second delivery), that was all they could do. In February we went to Ashley’s in Linden for a second couch and it was delivered within a couple weeks and the pricing was better. I would highly recommend using another Ashley’s for your furniture. Edit to add: Shortly after speaking to the manager, she called back and agreed to send someone the following day for the garbage they had agreed to take previously.
Absolutely horrible experience with this store. We ordered our new bed in November and now have to wait until April to get it delivered. I understand things are delayed right now but there's no excuse for the lack of service the store has provided. We were told last week that our bed was actually at the store and the only things preventing delivery was a hold on our credit card. So all this time no one called us to tell us about the hold. Ok fine. So we resolved the issue with the card and were told delivery would be this weekend. Now we get a call from the store saying our headboard is actually not there, and it will be another 3 weeks until it can be delivered. When I asked how this happened or what they could do to accommodate us with a credit of some sort, all they could say is the problem was the CC hold WHICH WAS RESOLVED ALREADY. The best they can offer is a $50 gift card store credit for their horrible store. Never shopping here again and I wouldn't recommend to anyone.

I went into Ashley Homestore for the first time Saturday March 5, 2022 I was greeted and asked what I was looking for. I told the gentleman that I was looking for two dressers and he directed me to where I should go look. Within minutes, I was introduced to a salesman named Mark Schuckman. Mark was beyond helpful and spent time showing me many choices, he was never anything but friendly and helpful and listened to what my needs were. He showed me many options and helped me find exactly what I had been looking for in the three other stores I had visited earlier in the day. Mark told me about the incredible sale they had going on zero,zero, zero and I thought what a great deal. I ordered my dresser and can’t begin to say how pleased I was with Mark as my salesman. He’s a credit to the store and really couldn’t have been more accommodating! I highly recommend this store and salesman!!
Miguel at the Ledgewood location is great. My husband and I were looking for a specific type of TV stand, which we knew would difficult to find. Even though this sale was pretty small scale, Miguel really went out of his way to help us find exactly what we were looking for.

Do not shop at this store. I have never had such horrible costumer service in my life. The sales person was great taking my money and then never heard from her again and didn’t help with anything! I got delivered a dirty stained couch and when I called to talk to someone .. I got transferred to 5 different people then got hung up on. One of my pieces didn’t come with the rest and I was told end of January then changed to end of February. Then the night before it was suppose to be delivered they called to cancel because the piece didn’t come in. How do you schedule delivery when you don’t have the item being delivered? Everyone I have talked to has been rude and not helpful at all. I’m close to returning the whole set and going somewhere else. ……. Thanks for the response but I spoke to someone this morning and they could not provide me with that information .. and it’s not about the delay it’s about the rudeness of your staff when you call to discuss issues. I ordered the furniture in October and completely understand the delay but delivering a dirty couch and not being able to help resolve that issue besides giving me a credit? Do not trust a word any of the employees say. They are extremely disorganized with zero care for customer service. Even if you fully pay for an item months early to prepare they will give your items away to someone else so they can make the next sale and not check with the warehouse if that item is spoken for. No outbound call was made to notify me items were in stock before selling it to the next.

We had a phenomenal experience at Ashley. My fiancé and I are first time renters and went in to the store to find a mattress. Jamielie was extremely patient with us and explained each type of mattress to us thoroughly. She allowed us adequate time to make a decision and we never felt pressured. Making large purchases such as a mattress can feel overwhelming and daunting. Jamielie helped us to feel extremely comfortable and more confident in our decision.
Came on the Sunday before Super bowl and Eric helped us pick out a loveseat for our basement. Eric then entered us in a Super Bowl pool and our numbers hit the 2nd and final score. We got a $750 Ashley gift card and we were able to furnish our basement even more. What an amazing experience!

I recently bought some furniture from Ashley Furniture at the Phillipsburg location. The price was great and the customer service was outstanding! It is so nice to go to a store to see and touch what you are purchasing. Thank you to Pete, Diane, Lauren and Cholly for a great experience from finish to start.
DO NOT BUY HERE! I made an order to furnish my house in the first week of august and spent thousands of dollars. I was told I would get my order within 12 weeks or receive a discount. It has been over 12 weeks and the discount they offered was $200 off my thousands of dollar order and it will still need another month but “subject to change”. Also the pieces of furniture that have arrived came either broken or missing parts like screws and caps. This is horrendous management. Not to mention they never follow up when they say they do and they can’t get my name right at all. They call me by my wife’s name they call my wife and I told them multiple times to save my info as a contact and I’m always told it’s saved. Save the headache. Mind you. I purchased a rug for ~$200 so they offered a free rug for waiting over 3 months for my bed and other furniture.
Ray is by far the best salesperson I have ever dealt with! If you go to Ashley furniture in ledgewood, ask for him. He’s the best!

Do not shop here. Salesmen (Joe S and Raymon) were very personable and took their time working with me. I can appreciate that. Also, the furniture we have purchased there has held up well and we like the pieces a lot. But we will never shop at Ashley again. We had two very poor experiences with them more than a year apart. Salesmen on the floor don't always lead you on the right track in terms of what their "assembly/ shipping" services entail or how the materials are assembled on deliver (i.e. does the couch arrive in sections or fully built). That happens, we understand. HOWEVER customer service is awful when you try to get things back on track. They completely contradict eachother so that you get stuck paying more. An example: online sales showed free shipping (delivery only). We were told we would need additional assembly services ($90) due to reasons reasons with the upholstery. Later that day, we learned that the salesman was mistaken and that upholstery would not be an issue after we read the assembly instructions from the ashley website pdf file. When we called customer service and the store to cancel the assembly and just do delivery only, they told us that even canceling the assembly wouldn't change the price because that is how much shipping would cost. We then tried to cancel the order and they said we would have to physically come into the store to cancel. When I arrived, the manager tried to talk me into not canceling by "waiving" the shipping cost like I had asked for originally to customer service on the phone.

Terrible communication and follow through after the purchase was completed in store. We had a firm request on a larger order to at least get our bed on a certain date. In store they were adamant that we'd get our mattress on time, and gave us a smaller selection of furniture sets that would have an expedited delivery. After getting our money, the mattress was scheduled for the wrong delivery date, and our "expedited" delivery was at the far end of their delivery window if not beyond. Sales reps dodge phone calls and no updates are available regularly throughout the waiting period. Certainly not returning to this store.

Nice folks to talk to but they really need to get their act together and deliver. They over promise and under deliver. Ordered furniture in late July (for late Aug move in), were promised delivery late August, now it has moved to early Nov. When we requested cancelling the order they throw the book at us stating delivery lead times can range from 4 to 12 weeks as per invoice! Is it unfair, unethical, illegal or incompetence!? You decide. Also, we requested a loaner which cannot be delivered till late Sep. What good is a loaner coming so late 😂? We deal with their salesman Mark S.
writing this for my Mom bought a lift chair in April they delivered a broken one. it's now Sept 2 and no one has fixed it. she has lunch , heart and walking issues. she got stuck 12 times in the chair. I am always left on hold and she is always told part should be in a week. I am now on hold 35. min. and it's past 6pm still caller #3 for this whole time. shame on you ashley!!!!! every time they come on and say your caller 3 the wait times goes up lol. what a joke.
I recently moved into my first apartment and needed some furniture and Raymon was so helpful to me and my family and showed us everything we were looking for. Liz was also very helpful and kind to us. Such an incredible staff would highly reccomend anyone to come to this location!

terrible customer service, I ordered 2 full size bedroom sets/mattress, but I received full sets with twin mattresses. I contacted customer service and now is going to take another week to have the correct size deliver to our house.. Not worth the headache.

Ashely HomeStore is one of the best places to get high quality furniture at more affordable prices. Raymond S (Ray) and Jasmin G were helpful thought out the process as well as Jerry C who I spoke with when I first went into the store. I was able to get a quality mattress, storage bed, and coffee table for a reasonable price given the quality. Jerry and particularly Ray spent a lot of time understanding my needs given the space I had and the functionality I was looking for and were knowledgeable on all of the products and additional warranty information. I was able to receive a significant discount and I have noticed they often have events that can lower prices on items and are willing to work with you on dates if you cannot get into the store that specific day because you work. Overall, it was a great experience and I look forward to reviving my products.

We’ve been using Ashley for our furniture for years now. It’s always been a great and pleasant experience. This time we worked with a new salesman, Raymond S. He was real a great guy, we shared some laughs, and he really went above and beyond to get us the best deals possible on what we purchased. Julia R. took care of our financing on the furniture(12 months at 0%). She was very sweet and pleasant and got us through the process and out the door nice and quickly. I ordered a sectional, coffee table and a dining room table set on March 6th, was told it would be 4-8 weeks for delivery. When I called them about two weeks ago, it’s now turned into “mid to late June”. really disappointing how it was pushed out so far and we have no furniture in our new house 😔. Don’t think we’ll ever order from here again.

Anthony led us to our options and by the 3rd one, I was sold. He narrowed it down with my descriptions like a true professional that knows his product. Having done my homework ahead of time, I understood the timeframe for delivery would be longer than usual due to our current climate. When it does come, I know my daughter and I will get many hrs of comfort out of our new couch.

We went to Ashley Furniture knowing we wanted to redo our porch/all season room. We weren’t sure exactly how we wanted to arrange the room. That’s where Joe comes in. He was fabulous in helping us find the pieces and their arrangement. I’m not sure my husband and I would still be talking if it weren’t for Joe’s help! Go to Ashley in Ledgewood and ask for Joe! PS. Whereas Joe was helpful, dealing with the people at Ashley after the purchase was horrible. In fact, we ended up canceling our order because we felt that if they couldn’t return our phone calls after 3 days, what would happen if there was a problem once our furniture arrived.

Bought a “custom” table pad for my dining room table. Was supposed to be a hickory color (same color as the table). Returned to Ashley’s in person as no one would return my calls. Ashley’s accepted and had another sent to my home of the exact same WRONG color. I gave up. Finally used the table extension to accommodate everyone for Thanksgiving (immediate family only in case you are wondering). Realized not only is the table pad the wrong color, the extension leaf section is the wrong size. Started calling Ashley’s again and got them to acknowledge on 12/3. They sent a note to the manufacturer and every time I call I am told they are waiting to hear back. I am out of patience with this company. Overall their furniture quality is average at best, but is OK if you only plan on keeping it for 4-5 years. But the customer service is truly horrible should you experience an issue. I have purchased well over $20,000 from Ashley’s in the Ledgewood and Manahawkin NJ stores over the past 2-years, but that doesn’t matter to them once they have the sale. This seems to be the only way to get their attention. 1/26/2021 UPDATE: Received a call about 2-weeks ago informing me they are “working on it”. I am still waiting. Unbelievably frustrating.

With covid-19 it's been hard finding a furniture store willing to deliver, assemble and literally put wherever I say the furniture to be. They do it all deliver assemble and you just point where you want it to be. Such a relief.

Extremely unprofessional Sales associate. We tried to go LOOK around and NOT purchase anything for now. We told Joe (rude sales person) which greeted us with so much excitement. We took his energy in a positive way but we did mention from the start that our goal was not to purchase anything today. He mentioned that he will look for us and check on us in a couple minutes. He did and he tried to help by showing us similar living room sets, he found a couple options BUT he started talking money and how we should go by it, his sarcasm started to come out and he made extremely unprofessional comments specially when he said “ I don’t want to waste my time” and other things that made us extremely uncomfortable. This isn’t the first time I’ve had a bad experience with a sales associate and I completely understand that it is important to make a sale but sometimes us customers come in to look around and see what models/ options we have and if we even see anything we like!! We actually own furniture bought from this Ashley’s location. NEVER EVER AGAIN going back. Learn to respect people’s needs, and if we are clear from the start, understand that and back off.

Cheap looking furniture that is sooo expensive. Ridiculously over priced. Also if you come to this location make sure you don't mention where you live. Associates "price" you based on your neighborhood. Especially if you live in the area.

my boyfriend and i purchase a couch in august. we have still yet to receive the other half of our couch and they are doing nothing about it. ITS BEEN 4 MONTHS!!! they had told me i would have my couch in 6 weeks at the latest. i will NEVER purchase from them again. they refuse to help me, nor give me a new couch, nor take the couch back. what a terrible place. Phenomenal experience with Joe and John again today. I’ve learned more about mattresses and the contour of the body than I ever thought was possible. We were fitted for an unbelievable mattress, purchased a bedroom set and living room tv furniture. They definitely treat you like family and make you feel warm and welcomed.
This store is absolutely trash and communication with customers is very subpar to say the least. Very unsatisfactory and would never ever recommend anyone shop there.
Went to Ashley on a whim because we were in the area. Our salesman was helpful but not overbearing. We found an entire living room set, tables, lamps and pillows for less than just a couch at other locations. The only downside is the length of wait time to receive the items we purchased, other than that, were very happy with our choices. Thanks Joe!

Good service and selection and great price
The pricing is different from the website to the store so I would shop on the website before you go to the store and bring the print out of prices with you. Customer service is really bad with Ashley especially if you have warranty work that needs to be done on your furniture or replacement of items that are broken or damaged. Also some of the furniture I received look like it was a used at the store or returned and was put together wrong and bolts are stripped out so you could make the adjustments to be level out the dinner room chairs correctly so they rocks. Also almost all the furniture has nicks, scratches or is damaged. Delivery guy broke open the silicon bead pack which is the size of Palm of my hand and I had all little beads all over my living room on my new hardwood floors and I have cats. And did not put the recliners together correctly I had to redo it when they left. Extremely disappointed would never buy another piece of furniture from them again hopefully they’re gonna honor their warranty, but I doubt it. Because I’ve been on the phone with them multiple times and left messages for three weeks and they still haven’t returned calls after I sent them pictures of the damages to the mirror to them.

Bought a $399 coffee table, was talked into the protection plan to protect the mechanical features. Was told today that none of the hardware or mechanics are covered. Those are the most important features on a lift top or any heavy coffee table! Deeply sorry I purchased through Ashley. Delivery was difficult on both purchases, everytime I have called I found staff argumentative and honestly seemed irritated that I was complaining at all. Would give a 0 stars if I could. Will never shop with Ashley again. This product did not hold up as you can see.
RACHEL was amazing!! My son and I went in today to purchase an L shape shape couch and they didn't have it in stock to try out. I was going to leave, but Rachel said I should look around incase something different caught my eye. NO PRESSURE from her which I enjoyed. I already liked her from the start. Would give 0 stars if I could. We bought a couch in March and received only half of it so far and no one at the store can tell me when I will receive the other half or has been willing to help me at all. I have made several calls to the store with managers saying they will call me back but they never do, then I call again get put on hold, leave a message with no call back, or reach a full voicemail. They are charging me for a couch I do not have and are completely unwilling to help me. I have asked to return the piece I do have and was told they are not taking any furniture back. I will NEVER buy anything from Ashley Furniture again and will tell EVERYONE how terrible the store is.
I went in expecting to browse, no immediate purchases planned. A lovely gentleman named Guy helped me out TREMENDOUSLY. I ended up buying a bed and couch on the spot. Not only that, but he has been diligent with follow up pertaining to delivery which is invaluable during this epidemic. I will gladly return for further purchases in the future primarily due to this great service. Would recommend!
I was there today and found Mary to be very pleasant and helpful. I purchased quite a few items and she worked very hard to accommodate me. I bought a lot accessories and they bagged everything up and packed them very well and brought them to my car which was very nice. I am a repeat customer and my whole house is furnished from Ashley and will continue to do so in the future. If i could give the staff 10 stars i would and Mary would get 20.
I bought a dining room set from Ashley Homestore in Ledgewood during the quarantine. I had such excellent customer service from Brooke- she went above and beyond! I would honestly buy lots more furniture again from her because of her excellent customer service. The table is beautiful and the process was so easy!

Having an issue with the 3rd party they use for their furniture waranties, Platinum Services. Not very responsive. Ashley's takes your money for the warranty, they need to make sure the company they use to fix your furniture is legit. I'll change the review if Ashley's steps up. Time will tell.

We buy from Ashley because the furniture and prices are nice. We have had our living room and kitchen furniture from Ashley for 2 years and it still looks great. We just purchased another beautiful living room set (recliner, sofa, love seat, cocktail table, and end table) from them for the Man & Cat Cave. It arrived before the scheduled time and was quickly (less than 30 minutes)set up.
My mom has ordered a sectional, ottoman, recliner and decorative pillows to match the ottoman and counter height table and chairs. The order was placed in December. 2 weeks ago we got a phone call saying that the decorative pillows has been cancelled due to we didn’t show them a credit card when we placed the order. We went in to try and figure out what was going on and the floor manager refused to help us. The lady at the desk looked up our order and got the paperwork out she said that there was never any decorative pillows. She said that there is nothing showing that we ordered them. When I asked why we got the phone all saying that they were canceled she couldn’t give an answer. Today the couch was delivered without the legs. It’s going to take another 2 weeks for them to come in. We can’t get an answer out of anyone.
Today we purchased a new sectional couch, recliner, pillows, and rug at your Ledgewood Mall location in NJ. Brian Mahoney was our salesperson, and our experience was really wonderful. The layout of the store enabled us to browse quickly and comfortably, the prices were excellent, and Brian was so knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. I would absolutely recommend to others and shop again. We are really looking forward to delivery of our new furniture.

I have bought furniture for two homes from this store in Ledgewood. I have had horrible experience with the second order. Went to the store in person last night to straighten things out. The floor manager did not care about my issues. He hid while we were in the store trying to find our sectional sofa, ottoman and recliner. Our special order pillows had never been ordered. The first part of the order was delivered over a week ago. We said if the rest is not delivered by this coming Tuesday, then cancel the entire order that remains. No one should have to wait 6 to 8 weeks or more for furniture. If you tell them you want special ordered pillows to match on the same day as the initial order, then they should have been ordered. We were told that we would have to pay an additional 30 dollars for shipping four small decorative sofa pillows (plus 20 dollars per pillow). We said forget it. The sad thing is I had spoken to the store manager when I was buying for the first house. He said he would give us great service on the next house. NOT SO. I do not recommend this store to anyone. Once you place the order their customer service ENDS. If I get any proper service on this order (they are saying mid March for the recliner), I will change my review. But that remains to be seen.

We came into the store with very specific and convoluted ideas for our sectional. Rachel assisted us and did her research and found exactly what we needed and we could not be happier we Will and have been recommending her to anyone that needs any furniture. Ordered 2 loveseats and needed the center console removed in both. Paid $50 each to have them removed, and was told they would take my old couch to the curb..no charge. When delivered, truck only had one loveseat. After several calls to Ledgewood and warehouse it was finally confirmed I had ordered 2! Accepted the one love seat and was told by driver they could not remove old couch. Few days later I was told delivery of 2nd loveseat was on its way. When it arrived, center consoled was not removed, so would not fit in my room. Sent it back to warehouse so console could be removed. Had to stay home and wait another day for delivery. Terrible communication between sales and warehouse. Total 3 days waiting time plus cost of having old couch removed. Would never deal with Ashley again. Would give Zero stars if possible.

We recently bought a sofa from the Ledgewood store, we had been to a few stores in the surrounding area with no luck as the sale people made us feel so uncomfortable. We walked into Ashley furniture and was greeted by a very nice employee Cece she said if we needed any help she would be walking around. She ran into us five minutes later and asked if there was anything we were looking for, we mentioned we were looking for a sofa and told her what the space was like and what I was interested in. Not even five minutes later she showed us a sofa that was absolutely perfect just what I was looking for! She helped us open a line of credit and asked if there was anything else we needed since we were just moving into our new home, she told us to walk around for a little while and we ended up finding a rug we liked too! She was so helpful and was very sweet she walked us through everything and helped us till the very end! She made buying furniture a fun experience and not stressful at all! I will definitely be buying furniture from there again!!!!! 😊
My wife and I had a great experience at Ashley while shopping for a comfy reading chair. We were greeted by Nic who at all times was very professional, had great product knowledge and never gave us any pressure to purchase. After discussing some of our likes and dislikes he guided us to a few pieces and helped us select the best chair for our needs. We ended up liking the chair so much that we bought two. As to the Ashley store; we found the store very clean, well organized, there were plenty of samples on the floor, the quality appeared to be above average and there was never any employee hovering around us. I would highly recommend Nic and Ashley Furniture.

This is by far the worst customer service I have experienced. My family and I went in and they looked right at us and we weren’t even greeted not even a simple, “hello”. Finally a sales rep came and asked us if we were being helped and we told her no and she proceeded to help us. As soon as we showed her what we were looking for she said yeah you can order the online and left us hanging. We were also interested in looking at the clearance area, which you need to be supervised. We asked at the desk and the told us that our rep has to assist us. She told the front desk that she will be a few mins, which we understand and we waited. Finally she came over and told us that she’s too busy to show us.

After Ashely HomeStore sold me a defective mattress, I had to go through the warranty process to get it replaced. That wasn't so bad. I received a call a few days ago confirming a delivery of the replacement mattress and pick up of the defective one for Saturday. I was told that I would get a call the day before to tell me the delivery window. This morning, I learned that my situation had changed and it was clear that we couldn't be home if the delivery was after 10 AM or before 2 PM. Ok, I thought, Ashley will work with me. I'll wait for the automated call and go from there. Sure enough, the delivery window as 11:30 - 3:30. I called Ashley HomeStore right away to see what could be done. In speaking with a woman named Kim, I was informed that if I rescheduled, I would be charged a 25% of the original purchase price rescheduling fee ($299.75). I asked Kim if she could work with me since this was a warranty exchange and people have lives that don't run on clockwork. Her response was that it was already on the truck and that since I had previously ok'd the Saturday delivery, I would be charged the $299.75 if I wanted to reschedule. Better still, she suggested I give my house key to a "neighbor" to let the delivery team into my house! This is the WORST customer service I have ever received! I told her to keep the damned mattress if that's Ashley HomeStore's policy. I then called my wife to tell her about my interaction with Ashley's team. So, my wife called the store back and spoke with Adrian who rescheduled us at no charge, so that takes some of the sting off of this situation but I can guarantee that Ashley HomeStore will never see another penny from me. I am beyond irate and frustrated that this situation even occurred. And for the record, I rated this review a one-star because there isn't an option to rate it lower.

I was told when I purchased the furniture on August 17, 2019 that a matress was on back order and my full delivery of 2 bedroom sets a couch, tv stand with electric fireplace and accent cabinet could all be there as of september 12,2019. On Sept 5,2019 and sept 9,2019 I received confirmation calls that all furniture would be there then on sept 10,2019 I receive a call my tv stand and couch will not come till end of sept or beginning of Oct. I moved into a new place and have no furniture for my living room now. The accent cabinet came and it is missing a handle, has a broken handle and broken drawer. Called customer service to complain and have it taken back to get a new one and was told no we will send you parts for me to fix it myself. I went to the store in ledgewood nj where I purchased the furniture to be told by the manager that the items on back order is not his problem that delivery dates are estimated times. I spent over $5000 to furnish my new place and now it's going to take 2 months to get all my stuff and I receive broken items. This is not acceptable I came to ashley as I heard they are reputable and I have yet to see this and have been treated terribly
First off I want to start by saying I was blown away by the staff at the ledgewood location. My girlfriend and I are taking the big step to move in together; the staff at Ashley, ledgewood, couldnt have made it easier! My girlfriend and I had very different visions of what our home would look like walking in. I am a huge fan of a modern look with dark leather and cherry wood- she couldnt be more opposite wanting a nice country cozy. I've been in sales all my life so I'm naturally a bit skeptical and cognizant of sales methods and tactics so I'm typically (as most people are) very critical of someone in the same profession, naturally. After browsing for a few minutes we were greeted by Joe, a salesman at Ashley. Joe is absolutely fantastic- he was very well informed on all products they carried and was very patient over the 2 weeks it took us to finally decide on a nice cross between our two vastly different styles. Joe was an expert at finding our perfect sleep solution, which happened to be a medium tempurpedic breeze king, but he showed all furniture and bedding unbiased of price and was truly focused on what was our perfect fit for both comfort and budget. I felt at ease throughout the entire sales process and Joe even kept the mood light and fun with his witty humor and amusing anecdotes. We got an amazing deal at Ashley over the extended labor day specials and couldnt be happier! As first-time home furnishers the process couldnt be easier, we felt cared for the entire time, and for the entire apartment to be under $200 a month for 5 years with 5 year warranty on everything- what else could you ask for!?! So if you're still reading this review, quit scrolling, jump in your car- head to ledgewood Ashley's and ask for Joe- you'll be glad you did.
Extremely disappointed in the customer service level. Our beginning experience was great - went on Black Friday and had a wonderful lady helping us who was very helpful. Once it actually got delivered is where it all went downhill. Half of our couch was missing in the delivery along with the legs of our new bed, so the delivery guys left without putting our bed together. We spoke with customer service who said they would be able to deliver both the half missing couch and missing bed legs via UPS and would be there in 7-10 days. This was extremely frustrating since we had family coming in for the holiday weekend and didn’t have a bed for them or a full couch for us all to sit on. As of today, we have received the missing part of the couch, but 2 1/2 weeks after our initial delivery we still have no legs for the bed. Called customer service and they basically said ‘oops, they’re on there way - should be there in another week’. So another week sleeping on the floor bc they can’t seem to figure out how to get us the legs to our bed. Talked to customer service again and they offered us $75 for our inconvenience - doesn’t seem like even an attempt to help us since we bought an entire living room and bedroom set from them. Extremely disappointing and frustrating. Won’t be shopping from them again, a shame since I do think they have great furniture, but struggle to give great service.

I cannot express enough how important it is to go to Ledgewood location compared to any other location. We went to Middletown ny first. They did not match prices, lied about shipping prices stating that their shipping is more because cheaper shipping was curb side which was not true and were over all very pushy. A week later we went to Ledgewood and had Rachel help us. We were in and out they matched the price we got online and shipping no issues. GO TO LEDGEWOOD it makes a HUGE difference. Customer service and prices were great! Thank you Rachel!

I just purchased a full-size sleeper bed at Ashley Furniture Home in Ledgewood, New Jersey. As I walked through the door the manager greeted me with a friendly hello and “How may we help you today.” He directed me to my sales person Joe who was amazing! As soon as I showed him a picture of what I wanted he found the exact sofa and without pushing me into other pricey items he made it an easy stress free purchase! I definitely will be back in the future for all of my furniture needs. Don’t forget when you go in the store ask for Joe you won’t be disappointed!

Never again! My daughter purchased 2 rooms of furniture from here about 2 years ago. When she went to move from the apartment it was delivered to, it was very difficult to disassemble the bed. All of the Allen screws were stripped. Got it disassembled but naturally couldn't put it back together in the new apartment. Reluctantly they sent a repair guy who was fantastic. We were promised a gift card for our trouble. Haven't seen it. Its been almost a year. Some of the excuses were, mailed to old address, need to cancel and reissue, returned in mail, lost, no forwarding address. The excuses go on. They had the new address, my address, and phone numbers for both of us. Customer service is poor.

When we walked in we felt a little ignored by the sales people. People saw us and we walked by others and no one asked if we needed help. Maybe we didn't look like we were going to by because we are younger. However when Amy walked by she asked if we were being helped so we said no and she was kind enough to help us. She answered all my questions and if she didn't know the answer she made sure to ask others that would know. She was great and pleasant to work with. We went to 4 stores and always walked away not really feeling like yeah we should but that there but with Amy and the manager we did. They both helped out a lot and were very fair with the price. We ended un buying a tempurpedic mattress and adjustable bed and we felt like we got a great deal so they definitely did their job well. It would have been 5 stars if at the beginning we didn't like we got a bit ignored.

Great in-store service. The after sales service needs a lot of improvement. We had a lot of issues with delivery, and it was only resolved after a lot of fights and complaints, and finally threatening to cancel my order.

My boyfriend and I purchased a couch and ottoman from the ledgwood store in November. We had originally wanted a different one but was talked into this one by the sales man who said that the couch was one of their best. It had been tested numerous times to ensure that the cushions never flattened and gave good support. The cushions are made of feathers which sounds super comfortable and it is until you sit on it for fifteen mins and then the cushion flattens to about a half inch. it is so flat that i can pinch it between my fingers and feel my fingers through it. Although it looks great we are extremely unhappy with the quality of the couch. I did purchase the 5 year protection plan which i was told would take care of any issues that may arise and would even replace the couch if need be. I called and spoke to a woman, i did not get her name and explained my concerns and unhappiness with the product. After all we spent almost 1600$ in the store and planned on buying more furniture. Anyway when I called the woman who worked there told me that the couch is supposed to flatten. I told her it felt like cardboard and she basically told me oh well. I asked to speak to a manager which she told me would return my call. It has been a week and no call. So now I'm stuck with a HORRIBLE couch, and buying the 5 yr plan was completely pointless. I will be calling again and hopefully they will make right of the situation. I would not recommend this store, or product to anyone because unfortunately it isn't worth the money and the staff isn't very helpful
We went in yesterday 3/13 to look for furniture for our family room. We didn’t really have an exact idea/color scheme of what we wanted. Brian took us around the store, showed us every piece he thought we liked and helped us make a decision. We bought a sectional, ottoman and a recliner, which wasn’t part of the set, but Brian showed us how it matched perfectly. My husband was especially happy with the recliner! Brian’s patience and professionalism will sure bring us back to Ashley furniture.

I would love to share the wonderful experience I had at the store while buying all of the furniture I needed. As soon as I walked in the door, I was approached by a wonderful lady named Rachel. Rachel spent almost 2 hours with me making sure I was making the right buy. Rachel had her input on some things which was great and made me decide faster. She was patient, friendly and overall helpful. Retail needs more people like her. She did a great job going over everything and making sure I left without any questions or concerns. We've shopped there many times in the past 10+ years that we've been buying furniture. We met Dave when he was a salesman and continue to go to him for all our needs. As a manager, he doesn't forget when he came from and is always willing to help the customer. he helped us buy a mattress recently after 4 different ones from Mattress Firm. His first question was, "why didn't you come to me first?!?!" We like this store because sales people do not hound you. We'll always recommend Dave, his team and Ashley Ledgewood. Thanks again
Originally I thought everything with this order was great. Couches delivered quickly and two other pieces came a few weeks later as expected at that time we were told out coffee table was out of stock and expected to be delivered in a couple weeks. No big deal, I'm patient... get the call that it going to be delivered later in the week, rearrange my personal schedule to be there, and two days later get the call that it's still out of stock and wont be delivered for another month... frustrating but things happen. Except that the same thing happens the next 2 months in a row... it's going to be delivered and then oh no not... so I finally give them a call. Talk to a manager who says come on in to the store and he'll "make things right." Drive the hour to the store the next day and there's a different manager there. He tells me to give him a day and he'll find out for sure when it will be delivered. So I wait... and wait... and wait. Two weeks without a call. So i call today to see what is going on. None of the previous people I spoke to are around so I get to explain my story to a 3rd person. She puts me on hold for a while and then comes back on and tells me the piece should be delivered on March 2nd. No guarantees... no promises... just that it "should" be delivered. The same thing I've heard every month for 4 months... so in short decent furniture that you may never ever get and they will promise delivery on items that they dont have and then wont do anything for you to make it right. We will see if this $500 table ever gets delivered but I can tell you that I will never shop there again.

Do not order from them. I ordered furniture from them 11 weeks ago and my furniture was supposed to be delivered this weekend. I had to call and confirm and found out that part of my order will not be delivered. After several phone calls, I found out that my ordered was marked fulfilled. How does a company stay in business with these type of errors. My furniture orders from other stores will all be delivered on time as promised and they called me to confirm without me calling them.

Service in store was ok. Rep informed us we would receive a call about the delivery date in two days because the date provided (late Dec) is not always accurate. I never received a call so called mid-week to check. Rep told me they were still working on a delivery date. Called me back the next day to say we were scheduled for 12/29. A little annoyed by the lengthy wait time but all good. Received a call this morning (12/27) from Tanya sharing that both pieces are now out of stock and delivery has been moved to January 17th. I called the number back and spoke with a friendly Cindy. She shared that the main warehouse does not inform stores of stock until stores pull inventory, so when the store pulled for our set, it was gone. Cindy offered a gift certificate which I declined as I will not be returning to any Ashley. I asked for credit, and she agreed. She informed me the store will be calling within 48 hours to obtain my credit card information for the credit. I will be calling if I do not hear from them within this time frame. I appreciate the credit, but $100 does not make up for the 2+ months’ wait for a set I paid a few thousand dollars for. Very disappointed at this process for what I thought was a solid brand. Communication and planning are very poor. I do not recommend! Guess I’ll be sitting on the floor for a little while longer... 12/27 update: Obviously no couches yet, but store manager (Mark) called to apologize. I asked about the 17th, and he said it should be delivered so only time will tell. I asked if I could provide my credit card info. now to have my credit processed, so he had one of his associates (Jazmin/Jasmin) enter it. Should take 3-5 days for me to see it. Again, I appreciate the service recovery but does not make up for my empty living room and notification two days’ prior to scheduled delivery. 1/15 update: Lisa - I am currently waiting on a call back from you. One of your store managers informed me you are in a corporate meeting but will return my call before 5pm today. I was informed our sofa would be delivered on Thursday, but our loveseat will not be available for delivery until February. This is absolutely unacceptable. I am requesting a $500 credit as I already took off work for delivery on Thursday and now will have to take another day in February for an item that may not be in stock in February either. This waiting game is growing very old. I will be filing a formal complaint with the BBB and the FTC regarding the scam that is occurring with this organization. Taking my money upfront and then waiting for an unknown time frame. Lisa called. Only a $100 credit can be offered again. Therefore, I am paying 800+ for an item I do not have. Lisa will call back Monday with an update. I urge you all never to purchase an item from Ashley. Their supply chain system is extremely flawed, and while the customer service manager would like to say the below only happens to a slim percentage, Ashley’s corporate site begs to differ based on the reviews posted there as well. Please take your business elsewhere. I do not gain anything from you going to another store - all I can say is that you should not come here. 1/26 update: I have received the loveseat this morning completing my order I initially paid for on 11/10. If you are interested, there is a segment on News 12 NJ discussing my story. The investigator shares that there is not much recourse to take when someone is treated like I was here. However, any furniture purchase above $100 in NJ should have a contract (which I have) listing a delivery date. If the order is not delivered by that date, the customer is to be given the option for a full refund or a later delivery date. On our Ashley contract, the section that outlines this was left blank. Instead, we were provided a secondary delivery date sheet. I was not ever offered a full refund, just a later and later delivery date. The investigator shared that I could try and ask for more credit, but as I shared, Lisa denied anything beyond $200 because then Ashley would lose money.
I don't much like shopping but over all it was a good experience, didn't mind spending my money.

When I was In store I was promised my bed would be delivered with in three weeks after the second week I called and was told my bed is now 7 weeks out and that they only deliver to my area once a month both the sales man and store manager made calls promising it would be three week delivery upon the time of purchase I told them it’s time sensitive issue and if they can’t I will take my business else where now after 4 week still no bed every person I talk to tells me they will call me back needless to say still no phone call back and now to get my bed I have to drive two hours to go pick it up this is honestly the biggest joke I my self run a multimillion dollar store we don’t over promise and under perform that is not how you run a business at all at this point I’m having a hard time now even getting a refund I would steer clear of Horus furniture if the manager is going to lie straight to you face to make a sale they don’t deserve any business at all no matter how good the sales are if I could give them a zero I would you people need to work on under promising and over performing specially with customer service and in my opinion honesty is the best policy when it comes to running a store funnier part my mother and aunt were also there to buy furniture after this incident they will not be purchasing anything and will be going else where way to go Ashley’s furniture
We walked Into the store 1/2 before they close and Brian was very helpful and did not pressure us. They had many choices for what we were looking for and we were able to have it delivered to our daughters house in South Jersey.

Sharon Q went above and beyond to help us style our farmhouse style home . She spent a few hours w us getting everything correct. She didn’t rush us and even sent me photos to my phone of accessories a week later thag I purchased over the phone and picked up . Everything was absolutely perfect . One item was on backorder and the store worked w their processing staff to get a date for it . One piece had a longer wait so we simply swapped it for another piece to fit my timing . Thank you . We just had a fun shopping experience at Ashley Furniture in Ledgewood. Our sales guy Joe S was awesome. I have his card and will work with him again!!! He tolerated my (grumpy) husband and we all 3 laughed the whole visit. Thanks Joe......perhaps battle pay for dealing with the husband lol!!!!

Bought our last couch at Ashley's over 5 years ago, so of course when I decided to redesign our living room we came back. All of the staff including our sales person Tony were great and very helpful.
