We went to Ashley Store/Outlet looking for a sectional sofa. We were so impressed with the selection. We were greeted by Alex who was very helpful. We returned to the store a few days later to make our purchase, although Alex was not there the salesman contacted Alex that we had returned for a purchase. I thought that was so nice. Our purchase went nice and smooth and can’t wait to get our new sectional delivered.

Tiffany helped me get a new mattress. She really knew all the furniture and features, including sizes of things so it could fit through my door. Really excellent nice and I liked she was not pushy ☺️

We had an amazing experience, Milena guided us through all the process of selecting the best furniture for our house! Definitely coming back!

I visited the Outlet in Linden NJ. I went in simply browse bedroom sets and nded up purchasing 2 pieces. ENRIQUE was both patient and listened to my vision and concerns. He was multitasking between two other customer at the same time. His following and care is what made me ultimately decide to purchase at Ashley vs other shops. This is not our first time working with Enrique, and there’s a reason we keep coming back. I’m always upgrading furniture and he’s consistently helpful, honest, and never pushy. He makes the whole process easy and comfortable. My husband even told him, “sell her on a kitchen table while I go find couches,” and Enrique pulled it off 😂. If you want someone you can trust, ask for Enrique!

The store was massive & very organized. The Linden location had a huge variety of everything including mattresses, bedroom sets, living room sets & lamps. Enrique was the sales person that worked with me. He was so helpful & patient. With his expertise and suggestions, I was able find the perfect furniture for my home.

I came into the store to order some tempur-pedic pillows, and left with a lil extra. My sales rep, Tiffany Tucker, was very knowledgeable about the products she showed me. I was in search of some accessories for my livingroom table and she took her time to show me several contenders until I was able to decide on a set. It was customer service at its best.

The staff has zero training; it seems like they're doing us a favor by selling us their furniture. The customer service is terrible, and the manager is even worse. They think they own the place, but they're nothing more than mediocre employees. You have to get change because they can't even do that. They serve you reluctantly. Maybe they don't care about the reviews until you experience it firsthand; then you realize how bad this store is. The manager should be fired—or rather, the entire staff. Hewitt was extremely helpful, kind, and knowledgeable about all the furniture in the store. More importantly, he was exceptionally patient throughout the process. I believe he is the best salesperson in your store, and I highly recommend that other customers ask for him.

Big showroom. Lots to choose from. Great prices

My partner and I bought a couch, with help from Enrique. Before purchasing, I mentioned that the couch was listed online as backordered with an 8 to 14 week wait. Enrique checked his computer and told us it would arrive in 2 to 3 weeks, so we trusted him and placed the order. Two weeks later, we checked the tracking ourselves and found out the couch would not even reach the warehouse for another 7 weeks, making it over nine weeks later from the original sale date. Enrique had clearly misled us just to make a sale. We contacted Ashley’s corporate customer service multiple times and were told we would get callbacks, but we rarely heard back and were offered no help or accountability. It took almost two months before we finally received the couch, and only after weeks of trying were we able to get the delivery fee credited back to us. Overall, this was an incredibly frustrating experience from being misled by a salesperson to dealing with unresponsive customer service.

This company was not honest. When I brought the bedframe, I asked the salesperson if it’s stuck out and the sales person told me that it did not. Also, I didn’t know that there was a clause in the receipt that once you receive the merchandise it’s a final sale. I was told that if I wasn’t happy with the merchandise that I could return it, but that was not true. I was told I could exchange it but not return. As the merchandise was being delivered, I told the driver, as he was unpacking, that I wasn’t happy with the merchandise and he told me I had 30 days to return it. But he wouldn’t take it back. So now I’m stuck with a bed that I don’t even like. To summarize The bad things about Ashley furniture is that 1) Inadequate sales person description, 2) and the clause in the contract stating that once it’s delivered, it’s a final sale. The sales people who sold me the bedframe were only interested in making the sale.

We had such a great experience at Ashley! Albrahim, the General Manager, was super helpful and made the whole process smooth and easy for us. He made sure everything went perfectly, and we couldn’t be more excited for our new furniture!

Noor and Alex were very helpful and friendly. Choosing the right mattress is a very hard decision to make especially for someone going through a lot of back pain. They were very patient and gave is a pretty acceptable deal. We chose a 12 month financing plan and the process was quick and easy. We are very satisfy with the service and hope to be as satisfy with the product especially with the price for it.

Ashley Furniture in Linden had beautiful furniture choices and working with Alex was a pleasure! He answered every question and was kind and extremely knowledgeable. We are excited to receive our new dining room set and will absolutely see Alex again for any of our future furniture needs!

I went to Ashley’s furniture in Linden NJ to buy a couch with my mother and father & Dante was the person who helped us. He was absolutely phenomenal, from start to finish. My parents and I shopped around to different stores and locations, and no one was able to provide us with the time and attention and quality service that Dante did. He was wonderful. He was patient, very knowledgeable, and he answered all of our questions. I wish all representatives could be exactly like him! 10/10 can’t recommend him enough. He deserves a promotion!!

I visited the Ashley Furniture store in Linden twice over the past week, and my overall experience was fantastic—thanks in large part to the store manager, Alex. From the moment I walked in, Alex was incredibly patient and never once made me feel pressured. He genuinely wanted to understand my vision, helped me find the right pieces, and worked hard to give me the best possible price. His professionalism, attentiveness, and calm approach made all the difference. I do want to note that my first interaction was with a salesman (H) who greeted me at the door and initially seemed eager to work with me but it was apparent on both visits that he was easily distracted & more focused on trying to engage with every customer who walked in, likely to maximize commissions, rather than truly helping me with my needs. He did not see my purchase through and walked away both times. That said, there are many other great and vested sales people there. The store is well-managed, and Alex, who’s clearly running the show, creates an environment that’s both customer-focused and respectful. I’m really happy with how everything turned out !! I will return there for all my furniture needs.

I paid for 3 seat covers for my furniture, they never called me. I called 15 days ago and they told me they were almost ready. Yesterday, Saturday I stopped by Ashley Linden and a young woman, making fun of me, told me that she knew they wouldn't arrive. I need my refund.

First, the salesman Allen was extremely helpful and patient without hovering over our shoulder. There was a delivery issue on my end but the store allowed us to make a new purchase without any hassle. They didn't try to keep my deposit nor charge me an extra delivery. It was handled smoothly and classy. THAT will make me go back again.

We went there a couple of times. They have jacked up prices by 2 to 4x and then the sales people will try to negotiate based on that. Beware of Melvin, don't go with that salesman. There are others who are reasonable and will atleast not try to cheat you. I ended up buying our sofa set from another store as they were 4.5x cheaper to what Melvin quoted. This was their most expensive sofa set.

Horrible Policy and Customer Service. Furniture was delivered right before a holiday, I was sick right after. Called 4 days after delivery with an issue and was told it's nothing they can do. Ashley refused to do anything about it, so it continued to get worse and now the fabric is coming apart and I have holes because it is so cheaply made.They told me it is not covered under warranty nor the extra money I spent for the protection plan. Been battling with them for 8 months now. I have filed a complaint with the BBB which they barely responded to, now I'm going to Consumer Affairs and getting a lawyer involved to get my money back. Furniture isn't even paid off yet.

I took off of work for this & had been home ALL day, did not leave my house for 1 second & nobody called us, nobody communicated with us, until we reached out several times. Then the person who contacted us said they were 1 stop away and nobody came. Then when we tried calling that number back they shut their phone off. This place is a joke and to charge such price for a scheduled delivery date and not show up is ridiculous and inconsiderate of others. I hope this place goes out of business.

The salesman (Enrique) also found out, once we decided to buy the couch from them, what I did for work and wanted to give my family a discount (I am a paraprofessional in a behaviorally disabled classroom). He was told no by the manager. We can't lower the price that much and refused. It was literally $100 off the couch, I was already paying $2100 for it. They did price match to a certain extent but $4000 for a couch @ Ashley that costs approx. $2000 at another chain, doesn't seem right.) I ended up calling to get an update on the couch a week later and was told 2/2 or 2/3 it should be available at the warehouse and ready to deliver after that and to call in a week. So I call today, and now it is not to be delivered until 2/24. How? How did we just jump 3 weeks? I was very unhappy and told them I would like to cancel my order. I've purchased a king bedframe with mattress and box spring back in April 20th 2023 I was guaranteed that the delivery was going to take 2 wks for the whole set to arrived to my house. Happened to be that the delivery took a whole month to arrived.Not only that when I received the bed etc, The bed frame was stained all over the headboard and foot board, the mattress wasn't the one I tried in store or purchased. Then I called the store where I purchased the bed in linden new jersey, to let them know that they've sent the wrong mattress being that the mattress was on sale they couldn't replace it with the one I chose in store and bcus that delivery guys already had opened it. Then I had to called guest services to let them know as well my concerns about the bed being stained and the mattress not being the one that I bought in store they said they'll gonna let me know in 7-10 business days to call me back to arranged an appointment for someone to come and clean the bed frame. After 2 wks the person came with a bottle of upholstery cleaner and a rag smh. Now a 2 wks ago I called guest services again bcus the damn bed has a HORRIBLE SQUEAKY NOISE LIKE IF THE BED IS 20 YEARS OLD! 😠 I explained AGAIN MY CONCERNS THEY SAID IN 7-10 BUSINESS days were gonna contact me here we go again a wk and a half later I called to see the status because this noise it's really bothering me at nights and keeping me from sleeping. That there policy says that they have to give it a 7-10 business days in order for the "ticket" order to be reviewed by thesomebody in the office. 5 days later I received a call that the box spring cannot be replaced or fixed because it was purchased as a sale tag item. Meanwhile I'm still paying for the stupid bed 🛌 that has given me so manny troubles and have purchased protection plan for the whole entire stupid bed!!!!!. I will definitely bring this up to corporate.

Had a very bad experience shopping for furniture here yesterday. The staff member was not at all welcoming and had a bad attitude since we started talking, it was the old guy in blazer - not sure if he was having a bad day or was just grumpy in general. I requested to change the sales associate and started working with Anthony, he said let me check on my computer and get back to you. To my surprise he never got back to us, we were waiting on the floor for 20 mins, called other Ashley store in Green Brook and picked what we wanted from them! Avoid this location at all times if you want good customer service and shopping experience.

Extremely disappointed with the service at Linden location. DO NOT SHOP HERE. On 8/18/23 @1pm me and my wife went shopping for living room set, GG sales person was very polite and professional during this time, after 45 minutes of looking through the various sets we picked out the furniture we wanted. We asked GG to crunch the numbers with sale price, we also comfirmed with her that if we see same furniture cheaper that she would match the price from reputable site. As a long time Ashley furniture customer, we are fully aware of their price match policy. She confirmed and we took measurements and headed to the counter to make the purchase. During this time, I'm researching the furniture and found the same set online for a lower price, GG said okay and asked me to put the furniture set in the shopping cart so she could see final price. I did exactly that and during this time the so called manager, comes and says can you I see where the furniture is listed for less. I showed him and he asked to take a picture of my phone with price listed for same set $3,502. At this time, so called manager stated it might be an additional $20 compared to price I found listed online because their margins, I said no problem. So cled Manager says let me call management to have it approved, he returned 5 minutes later stating I can't match the price, we asked why not, he stated we only match our own Ashley online prices which makes no sense, I informed him my entire home is furnished with Ashley furniture and that we've used same reputable online site to match price for our bedroom set without any problems. He stated if it's cheaper online why are you here, which was very insulting. At this point I felt totaly disrespected, his is attitude was unprofessional, demeaning toward us and he was totally misrepresenting store policy, he was contradicting himself because he had just agreed to match now and now they don't match. I requested to speak to a supervisor and he said that no one was on the premises in a dismissive tone. GG appeared to be totally imbarrassed of his actions. We had just developed a rapport with sales person and so called manager destroyed that rapport within few minutes. I walked away feeling very shocked and disappointed about the service we received. No respect for our time, our money and he outright lied to our face. After driving 30 minutes to this location, and being disrearded as a long time costumer. I will never shop at this location again and I'm advising others to BEWARE. HE Literally shut GG sale down and lost a potential retuning costumer. We have an Ashley card which we've had for many years, we've made serveral purchases from Ashley over the years and never been treated this way. I'm alerting potential costumers and corporate of the terrible experience i had at the Linden location. His behavior was totally unacceptable. After leaving the store we both felt extremely insulted and discouraged from shopping at Ashley Furniture in the future .
