Purchased a sofa set with 5 year warranty and within timeframe of warranty I want to replace parts (cushion fabric) that warranty won’t cover. Will happily pay. The parts can not be found and I’m told my parts and sofa may be discontinued. Well warranty won’t cover damage and I can’t buy new parts so just screwed out of a 3 year old sofa to do anything?

very disappointed, walked in no one said hello, my boyfriend and i walked around for 20 minutes and still no one cared. there were ladies at the desks and they didn’t say anything. and about three men, two of which were talking at a table and one wasn’t paying attention. sucks we are closing on our apartment next week, saw a few things we would have loved. we’re better off going elsewhere since we felt looked at as less since we are in our early twenties.

3 weeks, still waiting for delivery

We had Tyler as our salesperson and we can't say enough about what a great guy he is. We came into the store to look for new couches. We went to another furniture store to do a price comparison and we weren't impressed. What we were impressed with was Tyler...his personality and the way he handled himself is what brought us back to Ashley Furniture. We left with new couches and a painting. We are very impressed by the ENTIRE staff at Ashley Furniture in Manhawkin.

*Edited* Do not Buy From This Location!! Changed from 5 star to 1 Star due to false advertisement and information. I was specifically told that I had dissemble and assembly included in my order and here is the delivery and they won’t do it without an additional $450. Customer Service was awful when speaking to the store and now my couch is being sent back and have to go through a refund process. The Manager should have taken responsibility for their employees mistake and credited me the amount for assembly. They would of save their sale and made a customer happy but instead lost thousands of dollars and a lost a customer.

Sales rep Damonn was great, very knowledgeable, not pushy and looked for ways to save us money every way he could. Many times when i make purchases i feel like i may have gotten taken advantage of but i know this was not the case. He advised my wife and i about a sale in a few days rather than get the larger commission. He understood the value of doing right by your customer and getting repeat customers. Thank you, Damon.

Danielle was fantastic! She helped me find exactly what I needed!

Bought a few beds over a month ago including a bunk bed. They came to deliver the products and they realized when putting the bunk bed together it was missing the ladder, so the guys showed me that they were putting in a work order saying the ladder was missing and should be in within the week. Well over a month later, still waiting for the ladder or even a phone call back for that matter. Been calling every other day about the status and all they do is send an email to call me back and I never hear from them. I even told them to deliver to the ashley store in Manahawkin and will pick up from there but still nothing. I called the store and one of the managers picked up and basically told me it wasn't her problem after I told her it has been over a month and she didn't want to be bothered. I told her that I was very disappointed and I would not go there again and she just said well sorry you feel that way and basically felt like I was bothering her. Yes they are very nice going through the door but once they make their sale, they are done with you. If there is a problem good luck getting any help. They should of made sure all the parts were accounted for and it was their fault for not having all the pieces, which I understand it was a mistake but they should be going out of their way to make it right. Seriously over a month and still nothing, very disappointing and very disgusted how the manager talked to me over the phone as not to even try to accommodate me for a mistake they made. Last call I made was today to customer service yet again and yet again they promised they would call back sometime today and still nothing, very shameful how they treat people after they make their money. Will NOT buy anymore furniture from there!!

Bending over backwards for the customer RARELY happens POST sale but I have been blown away by the FABULOUS customer service from those in the Manahawkin NJ store- Emily, Angelina, Bruno, Sara and Suzette. We have been in 3 separate times for large purchases: bedroom set, living room sectional and mattresses. Each time during the purchasing process they were warm, friendly and accommodating. Angelina even offered to help get best sale pricing for a possible out of town sale for my parents. With each sale, we purchased the extra warranty and are so glad we did. Oddly one piece had some wear issues on our sectional this team went out of their way to make it right. And they did it quickly and efficiently. They were very communicative and provided us a replacement. We are so thankful we did business at Ashley and we will be back! Top Notch Customer Service! Thank you thank you thank you!!!! We’ve been round and round with Ashley because the set we bought would not match up after several days of taking off work for new pieces to arrive, I finally requested to exchange for a new set and the general managers manager said “no” and they wanted to send yet another piece that wouldn’t have worked. I dealt with the GM who did the right thing, they exchanged the set and he recovered quite nicely just by doing the right thing. Together we called Ashley guest services and they finally granted us an exchange. The only thing that would have made it better was for them to take the matching end tables back but that was not granted. I will say Bruno is a great guy who went the extra mile not much was in his control because his boss is a word I can’t say on here. Bruno made it right for us thanks to him Ashley is a place I’d still buy furniture. We got stuck with two end tables for a sectional that we no longer have but it’s better than every other option offered to us. Thank you Bruno for making it right, customer service isn’t always the situation but how you recover. Ashley should be glad to have him. Also, Tami helped us for months she was the sweetest even when I was angry with the lack of service. Thanks to Bruno and Tami for resolving our situation.

Emily Van Blarcom was our sales person and was assisted by Angelina. Both were very informative, professional and helpful. Emily spent all the time we needed to thoroughly review and understand the various different types mattress and manufacturers. Neither Emily or Angelina put pressure on us to buy or push any thing we didn’t need or want. After explaining our likes and dislikes to them they showed, demonstrated and let us try the different products they carried and gave us information on each so we could make an informed decision. Because of the sales staff at Ashley’s (Emily & Angelina), product knowledge, low pressure and willingness to work with the customer, I would highly recommend to anyone if looking for a mattress and bed to go to Ashley’s in Manahawkin and ask for Emily or Angelina for assistance.

Awful I don't recommend this place even if they're giving stuff away for free. I order bed furniture from them it came missing stuff and not the same thing I paid for it and the delivery people took off before I even sign the paper. I called the store the manager told me that was nothing she can do about it.

When I arrived at Ashley’s I was greeted by GiovannI. He was pleasant and enthusiastic and took me right to the patio set I was interested in purchasing. I wanted to see the color in person before I was willing to pay for it. Returns are expensive there, especially with large items. Giovanni answered all my questions and if not sure he took the time to verify it. I was browsing the store and Giovanni and the store manager came over several times to offer help. I appreciated that. They also gave me the space to continue browsing on my own. Giovanni was considerate, knowledgeable and easy to work with. The staff was also helpful and and accommodating. If you are looking for ideas and/or furniture to decorate or upgrade your home I would highly recommend starting at Ashley’s in Manahawkin NJ.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Ordered a couch from this store. Delivery team shows up with a dead drill and the couch was delivered with large indented hole in arm of couch. Delivery company told us we will have new couch delivered within 3 days. Customer service was contacted, they wanted to send a piece of fabric to cover up the hole, then tried to deny taking the whole couch. Finally we came to agreement that the whole couch needed to be taken and replaced. We are then told someone would contact us in 48-72 hours with new delivery date, we wait the 72 hours and no call. My husband goes to the store, our sales representative was wonderful but the manager is an absolute disgrace could care less that we didn’t have a couch to deal and only wanted to give us 5 % off with no delivery date. Meanwhile we have a 9 week old baby and no living room couch, so we cancelled the order. First time ordering there and will be the last. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.

I stopped into Ashley’s furniture to just look around. I just recently moved to a neighboring town and was curious what they had to offer. As I walked in I was greeted by Christopher. I explained I was just looking at the moment. To be honest I was nervous to walk in and get hounded by a sales rep. Chris simply said ok please let me know if you need anything “my names Chris “. I walked around the store inspecting sectionals and I had a question. I see Chris three sofas away and he walked over and calmly answered my questions. I asked him for his card and hours he worked.I have to tell you … I will be back. He read the room correctly and allowed me my space all along keeping enough distance to be a look away. We usually hate shopping for furniture because of the feeling of being scammed or not being told the true price of things. But our sales rep Cathy was very accommodating to what we were looking for and did everything she could to help us get a couch by the holidays. Frank the manager was also very helpful. The whole experience was refreshing after some awful experiences in the past!

Christopher was excellent! So patient and helpful with showing all kinds of pieces to fit our home.

This store has the worst ever customer service. They are all smiles when you are buying and paying. Laugh with you then tell you how wonderful it’s to serve you. Then we get the sectional. What a disappointment. Two of the back pillows didn’t have enough stuffing in them. Then where I sit, after a week it look like it was ten years of wear and tear. I called up the store and sent them pictures. That’s as far as it went for weeks. Then I called again and one of the nasty women said you have to call this number. And they would fix it. That’s your job I paid you. Then that number no one spoke English or very little, if they answered the phone. Called the store she tells me let me help you and gives me the same number. Then I called another number and it’s the furniture doctor. After many nasty customer service girls at the store . They are going to fix it after months of trying. I even asked to speak to the manager and he never got back to me. Also for some reason when I call the store it keeps ringing with never a answer. I guess they block you if your not a satisfied customer. They never really wanted to help with the problem. They just pass the bucket. They have my money in full. Then it f u I guess. I’ll never buy from Ashley’s again as long as I live.

I had the very best experience at Ashley Furniture I went in and bought a bed and box spring and Mattress got it home decided that it was not comfortable for me went back and they were able to exchange it for me Frank McGarry was such a huge help he went above and beyond and because I am living in a senior apartment he personally came over and set it up for me and then when I changed my mind he came back and took it all apart and removed it for me I now have a hybrid Posturepedic mattress with the power base and I love it I'm so happy that I chose Ashley and I'm very blessed to have received such great service especially from Frank McGarry I highly recommend you stopping at the store on Route 72 in Manahawkin New Jersey

Ordered a table and chairs in November 2021. I was told it would take three months to arrive. After multiple times being told it was on its way I’m finally getting it delivered Thursday August 4th!!!!! 9 months later
