Manager Wanda is problem solver and a people person and cares about your company to make sure your customers return to your store. I came into the North Brunswick store with concerns about the damage sofa she took care of us so well. I was never coming back to Ashley but that’s not so true now. Because of her I’m shopping for a Nectar mattress

Where do I even begin. What an awful experience that I don't know if my review will be sufficient in explaining the horrible experience I had not only with this individual store but the entire customer service experience. We purchased a bed in-store to be delivered to a condo - we specifically asked the salesperson AND the manager in the store if they can deliver it on a weekend, because our schedule doesn't allow us to be there any other time. They reassured us they can make it happen. So we paid. About a week later customer service called telling us they were ready to schedule our delivery for a WEDNESDAY. That obviously wasn't going to work so we asked if they can check with their dispatch to work with us to delivery it later in the week. They called back and said no. So we asked if they can cancel the order. They said we would have to go to the STORE to cancel the order. Huh? So we succumbed and said ok, we will go to the store to cancel. In the meantime, we asked they please cancel the delivery. Then a manager called me (I think his name was Matt) from the store and said they can cancel the order but we would need to come into the store in order for them to send us a refund check. While on the phone he mentioned a cancellation fee we would have to pay and I wasn't happy about that. Once he heard I wasn't happy he said "If you listen dear, we will waive the cancellation fee." I felt that was completely rude after already spending about an hour in total on the phone with them to CANCEL AN ORDER. So we canceled it...or so we thought. The next week (on Monday), we got a notification that the delivery was happened on Wednesday. What?!?! We canceled. So another HOUR of phone calls, being left on hold, being hung up on by the store associates, we are now expecting (hopefully) to receive a check in the mail in 2-4 weeks for our refund WHICH has a cancellation fee taken out of $135. Despite the problem of falsely promised delivery dates being given to us by the store, we STILL have to pay this dumb fee for a mistake we didn't even make. WE ARE SO TIRED OF TRYING TO GET THIS FIXED - that we are not even going to keep trying to get this fee waived. That's how horrible this experience has been. Instead, we're sharing our story in hopes that someone else can spare themselves from dealing with this awful customer service and store.
Want to thank Nore & Wanda for helping us get our bed set. We are soo excited for our new bed and giving us such a great deal. Thank you so much ladies!!!

From the moment I arrived, Kay provided an outstanding level of professionalism, knowledge, and care that truly made the entire mattress buying process smooth, enjoyable, and stress-free. It’s not often you come across someone who takes such pride in their work and genuinely puts the customer’s needs first, but that’s exactly what Kay did from start to finish. I walked in looking for a mattress that could specifically help with my ongoing lower back pain, and Kay immediately took the time to listen carefully to my concerns. He asked thoughtful questions to better understand what I was struggling with, what my sleep habits were like, and what level of support I needed. He then used that information to guide me through several options, carefully explaining the differences between each one in clear, helpful detail, without ever making me feel rushed or pressured. Meesha highly recommend, she was great w sale and afterwards. However, now I am still waiting for my furniture. Worst case was 3 weeks, it is going on 5 weeks. No response. Called store, not entirely sure what the man said but I believe it should be in before March ends .
Nore was excellent. We were welcomed as soon as we entered and everyone was friendly the entire time. Nore asked what we were looking for and actually took notes and found what they had that matched our numerous specifications. She was patient while we made up our minds and showed us around the show room. We left very happy and with a great price! Beautiful store with very helpful and friendly sales associates. I was considering a large piece of art and the salesman lent me his measuring tape so I could see if it would fit in my vehicle before buying. I wasn’t sure just by the measurements, so before I made purchases, he went above and beyond by bringing it out to my car to see if it could be squeezed in. SO helpful. Also their non-furniture clearance was incredibly well priced. Art and mirrors were $40 each, with many different styles/sizes, and accessories were $10 each. The art in the photo was 4’ x 4’ - still just $40.
Today we arrived at your store in North Brunswick to look at mattresses. Your staff of Sonia and Ed were so helpful, polite and courteous. Their professionalism was incredible. After showing us many choices and spending over an hour with us , they helped find the mattress that was best for us and in our price bracket. Thank you for all

Absolutely horrible service. I was promised delivery in 3 weeks. Its been 4 months and counting. I tried cancelling the order and they said they cannot cancel. I told them i will refuse delivery and not pay. Worst company to shop from hands down.

We bought a new house for which we bought considerable furniture from Ashley, North Brunswick. Last weekend, we returned to the showroom with a minor issue concerning the sofas. Had the most unpleasant experience with Wanda, the store manager. As soon as my husband registered the complaint, she entirely turned it into an overbearing one-way monologue. Every time I tried to open my mouth to say something, she invariably talked over me. Happened 4 times. By the end of it, I no longer cared about the issue with the sofas. I gave her the feedback that as the manager, the least she could do is to LISTEN to the customer. To which she said, "My job is to talk!" Left me appalled. Her conduct throughout reeked of arrogance and inconsiderate high-handedness simply because she is in the seat of decision-making and authority. We went there with very genuine intentions, not in the least looking for an exchange, return or reimbursement. But the TREATMENT was downright nasty, disrespectful and unprofessional. Not fair, not acceptable.
Somewhat decent collection but priced too high and takes a long time to give customer the total price. Do enquire details clearly as they keep adding up. Delivery cost is incredibly high.
Walked in to browse clearance and left with a Tempurpedic mattress! As my wife and I told Store Manager Eddie, we’ve bought a lot of mattresses during 40 years of marriage, and we’ve NEVER received such a thorough education on what we needed to help our sleep and back issues. Thank you Eddie for your professionalism, courtesy, and respect for us, our time, and our investment!

Absolute horrible store manager, lying salesman. Manager share no accountability and doesn't let customers talk at all. We informed how salesman misquoted about returns , the manager agrees that salesman lie and emphasizes that's its not Managers responsibility if salesman lie!! Who says that?? They lied about return policy and of everything they are being very rude. No wonder this place going to ruins over years, horrible staff for sure!
Wanda took care of us the first time we visited but we weren't ready to make a decision yet. She didn't pressure us about it and gave us some options to consider and to come back in a week. When we did, she took the BEST care of us. Really friendly staff, super efficient, and helpful. I loved my experience here. 😄

Awful customer service. Unfortunately ordered bedroom set from this location, after waiting for a month, delivered with missing parts. Called customer service to get them, they said 2 to 6weeks, and it might take2 months to fix it. I do not have place to sleep since the bed is occupied without fixing, now my guests are sleeping on the floor, very inconvenient situation. Customer service pathetic and terrible. I asked them to give floor sample parts, they denied. I do not recommend this place at all. Worst service ever seen.

Store was great but they delievered two pieces that were not with my set and a totally different color I called customer service 3xs today is my 4th to ask when will they be coming he said yes it’s past the 72 hours please hold while i transfer you to the store then hung up on me 20 min later then I called back and I’m away with my kids on a getaway waiting now to speak with someone again this is just ridiculous.

We have not received our Sofa on time and still waiting , there is no assurance being made for a timely delivery. What was suppose to be Nov15'24 is now moved to Nov29'24 without any notice in email or SMS, we took a new Creditcard for this at the store too, with the part of the amount paid already and posted to our CC. Am surprised at this digital age there is such a poor communication maintained and the will not to keep the customer trust.

The sales team was great. But their deliveey team sucks. They went to the wrong address, called me to confirm my address, and still did not show up that day. They lied on me to the store and told them I gave them the wrong address. When the driver called me and asked me to text them the correct address. Which I did. And they still did not show up! Then the next delivery time was not compatible with my schedule. I needed my purchase that day and their awful delivery team caused me to lose out on a good deal for my bed. The only way I would order from them again is if they have a competent and reliable delivery team.
I purchased a new bedroom set from Ashley’s. I was helped by a women named Lynette. She was courteous and very helpful. We were able to purchase the set we really wanted.The price and quality of the furniture was well worth it. With a lot of furniture stores no longer in business, I think we have found our new go to store. Thanks Again.

Worst experience…. I bought items with a date committed to get them delivered. When I call them on delivery date, they just plainly refused saying the order has partially are arrived and ot would take a month more to deliver. While purchasing it was committed to 6 weeks and later it was extended to 12 weeks standard delay. Its very unprofessional
Unprofessional. Bought a sectional and agreed on a price I was ready to take. Turns out they didn’t put all the pieces that I needed on the invoice - so I ended up paying full price for an incomplete sectional. Found that out when they tried to schedule delivery. When I called, they said the store will call me back. Haven’t heard from them since, can’t reach anyone over the phone either. Avoid Enrique at all cost. Nicest scammer I’ve ever dealt with. A great comfortable shopping experience
I was at Ashley's this morning with my wife. Enrique A. was our sales person this morning when we purchased a sofa. He was truly outstanding. To find a salesperson who strikes a great balance between being friendly and personable, one who spends time with you and is available, and yet at the same time gives you space to check things out on your own, and discuss things between ourselves, is really unusual. A young man with a beautiful West African accent (I was jealous with my New Joisey accent) he was professional and a great pleasure to work with. The place is nicely displayed and their were lots of choices, and I think we got a really great price to boot.

This place is an absolute joke, and maybe Ashley's in general. The sales team/staff, I have no words lol, they are unprofessional, do not seem up for the job or sharp, and purely incompetent, let's just say it that simply. They lie a lot and will use any sleezy tactic to come off as nice to you and sell. The manager isn't better and literally walks around with a cigarette in hand, and not the most accommodating. Try to call them on the phone, after you finally manage to get a hold of them after talking to like 4 other people, and their call always just disconnects and they never call back. Had to go in person like 5 times just to get a hold of them. Had to wait longer and longer for a dining table I ordered, to find the chairs may not even come, rescheduled it, decided to just buy a floor sample, said a delivery would be within a few days, just to have it be later when scheduling it, just for them to cancel and not even be able to deliver it that day, yes the floor sample that you could literally see in the store. Went to the store to find they hadn't even touched it or tried, and at last had to literally pick it up myself and assemble at home.
So. I’m not a person to be mad over stuff but this was 3 weeks of run around that was pure hell. Alyssa was so nice when we first came in, went back and fourth with our issues, and was so informative! As soon as this order was placed? GHOSTED. no information, no times, calls to corporate instead of the store was the only way to get answers. incorrect times told to us, incorrect shipping information, and a bunch of hell. Was ready to leave a solid 6 reviews from everyone in the house for being so happy, that all went down the drain really fast. Won’t be coming back to this location sadly. Wish the end half went better, the buying process was nice, horrible communication.
update: store manager promised me refund, hence I am updating rating. I will update further if I get full refund. Very unprofessional store. They forced me to pay for furniture which was not ready to buy before my wife see it with assurance that I can cancel anytime and get full refund before it gets delivered. Later they refused to cancel the order and didn't refund me anything. They didn't even deliver it.. no less than an scam. I am trying to resolve it with them and if they will - I will update my review accordingly Update : they refund me full without further difficulties in dealing on this.

Horrible 1st time experience. They are unprofessional and quick to take your money but give you a run around when it comes to delivery or an exchange. I will never shop at this place ever again. Thank you Param Singh for actually taking the initiative to help me and getting me a delivery date after 16 days of waiting. Sal and Jay should do a better job with confirming the delivery date when taking the payment.

After a month of waiting to schedule delivery, learned they never ever deliver to my address. Manager Sal is a class A jerk. Do not buy from these people. Inept fraudsters with sham customer service.

I went into the store just to look and saw a sectional I liked. Alyssa greeted my daughter and I and was very friendly and helpful. When I showed interest in purchasing the sectional, she took us to the back and was very helpful and told us "I got you" and said would do anything to help us get the sectional. I told her what my budget was which was $83 a month interest-free and, she assured us that's the deal I would get. She involved her manager, Mike, who called 2 people to assure us we can get the no interest for 12 months. When it came to check my credit she and the manager, Mike, assured us no matter what it was, they'd help us to get approved. After the approval process, and when it was time to finalize deal, Sal DiGiovanni reviewed the contract and told us we'd have to pay $253 + interest on biweekly basis until it was paid off. It went from Alyssa and MIke assuring us we'd be paying $83 interest-free for 12 months to $253 biweekly. I immediately told Sal I am not interested and he canceled the contract. I DO NOT RECOMMEND Ashley Furniture in North Brunswick. I DO want to Thank Sal for being honest with us. Wasted almost 2 hours of a beautiful Saturday at this store.

I am very disappointed in this store currently—I purchased a new bed set in December of 2023. Two days ago the bed completely collapsed for no apparent reason. It started with two posts under the bed and now every post has collapsed. When I called for customer service, the person at the store forgot to put in a service ticket the first time. The second time I called, I got told I would receive a call back within 3-4 hours. I didn’t. I called the store back and was then told I would receive a call after they review the photos in 7-10 DAYS. I currently do not have a bed to sleep on. The customer service representative was less than helpful. The bed is only three months old. My friend got service from raymour and flanigan for two small parts within a day. I am so disappointed by this customer service.

Gave this Ashley franchise store more than 2 weeks to sort the delivery mixup and to get an ETA on delivery of their own mattress brand that they had recommended. I guess once you make the payment you are nothing but a sitting duck ! What was a good experience initially has turned to become a massive disappointment ! I ordered a sofa in November and while placing the order I had a good customer service and they promised me to deliver by first week of December. Later the order was delayed and each time when I called the delivery date was pushed and I am still waiting for the order to be delivered. I understand with all the holiday season and orders but the lady who called me over the phone regarding my order was very rude and not polite. You cannot disrespect someone after you placed the order. I highly encourage the management to look into this.

Do not buy furniture here. The furniture is decent but I spent 5k on couches here and the ottoman had a defect that surfaced after about 8 months( it literally started to cave in middle and turned into a bowl) and when I called they told me they could not replace it. On the other couch the leg was not put on properly and they wouldn't fix that either but I was able to fix myself. Lastly it is near impossible to get their customer service and store on the same page. The service is just awful so I will never buy furniture here again.

Everything they sell is of a low and cheapest quality. We bought a dining table, china, matress and a bed paying big bucks and unfortunately nothing lasted long. Cheapest quality any store can sell. Don’t waste your money and time by buying anything here

I'm currently walking through the store and have been for about 25 minutes now not one hello, do you need any help?, are you interested in anything particular? NOTHING.... I came in and priced the Altari about a month ago and waited for the black friday special and was greeted with smiles and helped immediately. A short statured guy with glasses walked right past us (he was helping other customers) not a smile I'll be with you shortly or anything. We may have been invisible... another lady with black straight hair sat at the main desk did not move a muscle.. Well I guess I'm on a hunt to another location or possible another retailer for my sofa to remodel my new place... Happy holidays!
By way of update, furniture delivered and waiting for response from the manager on issues relative to mattress sizing and issues regarding same. Day 2 and still waiting. Left a message last week and did not receive a call back. Rather I had to go into the store to get a response. Not good customer service at all. Wanda and James were friendly and helpful. Poor and rude attitude by the Manager. He also had just smoked and came to interact unnecessarily. We had very similar experience as few others mentioned in their reviews. Sales representative had a good attitude with us but Manager unnecessarily tried to interject and showed disrespectful behavior as if he thought that we didn't have intentions to buy and his staff is wasting time with us. We just bought a new home and require tons of furnitures, next went to Raymour (still amazed with what we experienced there!) and booked $10K+ order. Also, I have no opinions on anybody smoking, but shared here only because it made my wife very uncomfortable, and I personally never experienced any customer-facing store staff to have just smoked & interact with customers.

DO NOT BOTHER. We bought a full bedroom set from this store. While the salesman was nice and helpful the problems started as soon as things were delivered. 2 of 3 pieces were damaged. I would not accept the bedframe and had to send it back. It then took another 2 weeks to get a replacement. Our dresser drawers arrived not closing properly. Customer service swears the dresser must have been damaged in shipping because they don't send out broken items. If the tracks of the drawers weren't put in properly, how can you claim it was damaged in transit? It came from the manufacturer that way. If the replacement of the tracks doesn't work, they will have to remove the dresser and replace it completely. I'll likely have to take the day off work for this, also. Customer service claimed they were ordering new tracks and to call them when they arrive at my home to schedule a technician. It would take 7-10 days. Here we are 32 days later, and nothing has arrived. I called and spoke to customer service for a 2nd time today. As far as I can tell, the part was never ordered the first time and I don’t believe it was ever truly ordered the 2nd time either. They are now involving the “escalation” department. They called my boyfriend and left a message saying the part won't arrive until MID OCTOBER. The dresser was delivered in August. I asked for a phone number or email to the “escalation” department and was told that is for internal use only. Customer service at the store AND at the service location are beyond rude. From the store customer service telling me it's too bad they won't reschedule a delivery until the broken piece is scanned back into their warehouse (apparently that’s the consumers problem) to the service center clearly not ordering the parts needed for repair and refusing to provide even the most basic information. This entire experience has been a mess and has added an unnecessary amount of stress to moving into our new home. They can hold a master class on bad customer service. If you'd like to order broken furniture and have the company refuse to do it's job to rectify it, Ashley is the store for you.

My husband and I went to the North Brunswick location and had the pleasure of Alyssa helping us. She went far and beyond with her great customer service. I highly recommend asking for Alyssa .
So at Ashley…we invested a considerable amount of time in selecting a sofa set and associated furniture that we were pleased with. During our visit, the agent assured us that the furniture could be delivered to our basement without any issues, and even mentioned that if there were problems, we could decline delivery without cost…giving us confidence to proceed with the purchase. We placed our order and were told it would take one month (!) for the delivery. Patiently awaited the delivery for a month. Upon arrival, the delivery team unfortunately decided not to attempt bringing the furniture into our home due to sizing concerns, despite the fact that it could have fit with some effort. Although they did not attempt delivery inside, we understood the situation and contacted the store on right after to initiate a refund. The same day our experience took a frustrating turn when we were asked to visit the store in person to process the refund, only to find out that when we got there the items had not yet returned to the warehouse, delaying the refund process (waste of time and effort). A day later when reaching out to the manager, he totally pushed back and stated we can’t obtain a full refund due to a corporate policy that imposed a 25% penalty for "rejected" items. This left us with an unexpected cost of around $400-450 for furniture that we couldn't even receive, despite our good intentions. While the customer service during our shopping experience was commendable, the attitude and policies post-purchase were disappointing. I hope that Ashley Furniture takes this feedback constructively and works towards enhancing their customer service approach in the future, as some of their furniture is indeed nice.
I like to recommend the sales person Wonda. She gave an outstanding, excellent customer expertise and services and she new her stuff. Wonda was honest and very supportive helping me pick out my furniture. She also gave me a 30% discount and when the other manager passed by he was trying to get the credit by saying where here to help you that why we have you the 30% but it wasn't him that offered or helped it was Wonda that offered & assist me on me buying the furniture. I was very surprised.. but at any rate ask for Wonda, she's very knowledgeable on the furniture & deals...😊

Will not visit - Rude General Manager We recently got a new home and have tons of furniture to buy, we went to Ashleys and were checking out different furnitures, the sales person was good and everything was going good, all of sudden the store manager named Mike came to us and started talking in threatening tone and was trying to insult us on our choice and how nobody is buying from his store, he even passed personal remarks which was unnecessary. After he left furiously, we spoke to the salesperson and even she was baffled on why he intervened and behaved like this. We immediately left the store and while leaving another manager came outside and apologized. This whole thing was so shocking that it is still confusing us on why we were treated like this? Anyways we went to Raymor and gave our business to them. I hope senior management from Ashley’s read this review and take appropriate action. I am going to write it to Ashley’s corporate office too on such inferior treatment!

It was like having a human furniture encyclopedia right by my side, how impressive! My husband and I couldn't help but feel amazed by her dedication to our needs, it's such a rare occurrence to find a salesperson who actually cares about what we wanted and made sure that we found it. And let's not forget how effortless she made the whole experience. I mean, who even needs to put in any effort when Alyssa is there to hold our hands and guide us through the oh-so-difficult process of choosing furniture? I'm torn with how I feel about Ashley. We bought quite a bit of stuff here and Tony our sales guy and I think manager was very nice and helpful. We had to return a rug and a lady there was super rude but the head manager, an Indian guy I can't remember his name but he was friendly and helpful. They are rude! We wanted to purchase a sectional recliner and were quoted a lower in maryland store. The store manager kept laughing in our face and basically called us a liar multiple times for saying we were getting a lower price. When I said I want to call and check if the Maryland store would be willing to give it to us for the price they had quoted and will deliver, this guy just shouted in my face that I will not sell it to you then. Guess what, I do not want to buy from a store whose manager behaves this way either!
Visited the store on June 2nd, 2023 and purchased a 4-piece queen bedroom set + box spring, sofa, and other miscellaneous items. Our sales associate stated that we would receive two separate deliveries: (1) queen box spring and sofa, and (2) 4-piece queen bedroom set. We were told that the first delivery would arrive on June 6th, and the second delivery would arrive on June 24th. We were told that no other action was needed on our end. Fast forward to June 5th, one day before the first delivery was supposed to arrive. I call guest services to confirm delivery date and they tell me that there is no such delivery scheduled for these items. We were told that we would have to schedule a delivery ourselves, and once we did that the fastest delivery date would be around June 20th. Confused, I call back this specific store to get in contact with the sales associate to discuss this. Once we get in contact with him, he stated that there was an office error with scheduling our first delivery. He said that the staff member that completed our purchase at the front desk was supposed to have scheduled a delivery date for us, which she had not. After some back and forth, he is able to provide us with a June 8th delivery date for the sofa and box spring. Fast forward to June 23rd, one day before the second delivery is supposed to arrive. I call guest services to confirm delivery date and they tell me that the 4-piece queen bedroom set will most likely not even arrive at the warehouse before July 3rd, let alone when it will be scheduled for delivery (likely the week of July 10th). I am disappointed with my experience shopping at Ashley's. There is a lack of communication on delivery issues/delays, I would have no idea what was going on with my purchase had I not called both times. There is a lack of communication between staff members (1st delivery issue), as well as unclear information given to customers (2nd delivery issue). Based on my experience, I do not recommend shopping at Ashley's Home Store. Instead, I recommend Bob's Discount Furniture Store as they were very communicative and delivery was super fast and convenient.

Very very very bad as a customer service point of you . He is a manager or not sure but if Ashley’s really care about it’s store then really need to work on it.

Cory, our salesman went above and beyond for my fiancé and I after buying our first house. Had a small miscommunication on the order of a certain bed frame that we wanted but he fixed it right away with no extra cost. When our furniture was delivered we received a smashed headboard for the bed. Also our reclining couch and loveseat have broken numerous times. We have had the repairman to our house multiple times. And now they are saying that we have to pay for the repairs when we PAY FOR THE INSURANCE on it!! With no calls returned by the store manager Michael, I drove to the store to speak with him. He was very nice and tried to work with me despite all of the issues we had with our order. He told me we would receive money off of the damaged headboard and have yet to see that refund on our account. My furniture is broken and now he is no longer accepting my phone calls and multiple emails. I was really looking forward to furnishing the rest of my house with furniture from here, but after this disaster and just straight abandonment from the manager I refuse to come back to this store. CHEAPLY MADE FURNITURE AND BAD MANAGEMENT!!!

Based on my experience and from what I observed - if the customer is good, respectful and understands their staff and manager, then the entire purchase will be very good. If not, they know how to take the customer on a roller coaster ride. I bought almost 11k worth of furniture. Mike, Beatrice and Tony assisted me. There were few returns, re-ordering and refunds. Throughout the process I stood in their shoes understood them and was respectful to them. In turn, they were sweet, gave me the max discount and also a discount for any purchase at any time in future. Coming to furniture quality, service and design, in two words- very satisfied 😊

Great selection of furniture, but the employees of this store need a crash course in customer service. 1) They NEVER answer their phones. 2) When you bring problems to light, they all shy away from taking accountability. When my family and I went to purchase a bedroom set, we were welcomed and greeted by Wanda (Manager apparently) and she was so wonderful that she shared her cell number with us. Of course we checked our invoices before leaving only to discover that she had mistakes on our entire order. The GM, Mike, spent another 1.5 hours after closing hours to fix the mistake Wanda made and still freaking messed up our order. Unfortunately, we didn't end up finding out until day of delivery. So we were told to call the store... of course no one picks up and if they do, they don't give you straight answers or let you speak to anyone. We walked in and conveniently Wanda was there but pretended like she didn't recognize us. We later found out that Wanda had fixed our order prior to us driving the 30 minutes to the store but didn't bother calling us or apologizing. The GM Mike also straight up told us that he "generally" doesn't remember people, but still managed to come up with remembering that he was the one who fixed our order. I gave 2 stars for our review because although we were compensated in some minor way, you never forget how someone makes you feel. Mike didn't make my husband nor I feel any better by coming in. He was arrogant and made us feel like he was doing us a favor. And Wanda? She hid away from us in different areas of the store, rather than holding herself accountable for her mistakes. Ridiculous behavior from adults. I would NEVER tell anyone to go to this location. Look at the furniture in the store and then order everything yourself online. Train your employees better or get rid of them and hire competent, compassionate people.
Jessica was amazing!! She was really good at helping with the measurements and ofcourse discounts!! She let us take as much time as we wanted to figure things out and finalize the pieces!
In November We bought white marble top dining table set and on the delivery day it came out having yellow scratches on it whicg looks like low quality of marble or may be it is not a marble so I told to the delivery guy that I want to refuse the delivery but he is like call to the customer service first and they left so then guest services tried to replace it with brand new similar dining table three times and all the time it came out with scratches and yellow marks so I had to refuse the delivery. Reselection and refund were not the option until this point and Then finally after 3 failed attempts they approved the reselection and we went to the same store and than store manager Mike Peterson approached to us while we were checking dining table options and then I described him my situation about defective and average quality of dining tables and chairs such as marks of vessels/glass/cups on the table even after using table cloth and hot plates then he started responding so negatively saying different things like “why you will put glass of water on dining table?” Than I said it is a dining table where people put their food plates to eat and drink and you’re telling me to not put glass of water on that table??? Seriously? I felt like discrimination at this point or he might be intoxicated not sure what was wrong with him as he was talking so meaningless and was so rude. Now it’s been only 2 months and the staplers or whatever material they have used to apply the fabric on the chairs is coming out and I got hurt by that material while trying to pull one of the chair. Second Incident- Then he walked down to the customer service/payment desk area where all computers are there, he opened my order and checked all the pictures of defective dining table and he is like I cannot see that yellow mark with my real eyes and said if he was in charge he should have not allowed to even exchange that table. I was like so surprised that he was talking like that with us and than he is like you only bought dining table from us , I said yes than he is like you complained about the sofa , I said I never mentioned sofa as I bought sofa from Bob’s furniture than the lady (cashier or store clerk) behind him laughed at us , I don’t know why but I felt so humiliating and insulted while having this conversation. I think her name is Jeanine. All the time I was smiling and giving my reasons being a customer and he was so rude since the first word he spoke to me. I don’t know why? At one point I thought this person has some mental issues or what as he was talking so baseless. I will never recommend to buy the furniture from this store or I would say just don’t buy it from Ashley if you have second choice then. For us we found white marble table top dining table only at this store out of 20+ different stores we checked in New Jersey. I’m still waiting for any resolution on this issue. And it’s been now more than 2 months dealing with it. Horrible experience.
We came down to order furniture for our new home. Stewart was very polite and honest with us, which made the sale smoothly. We ended up purchasing all we came to get. Management was very nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place.

I went in this North Brunswick Ashley store due to back pain to find a mattress and bought $7,000 worth of bedroom furniture and mattress. The mattress was delivered and after sleeping on it, made pain worse and wanted to return. The store said call the number which handles return (a different department), after the run around said all sales are final. I said where does it say it, he said because it doesn’t state it, all sales are final. Unbelievable! I should have gone to Macy’s or JcPenney’s to buy my mattress and furniture l, at least they are honest. The only way these thieves will learn if they are sued and are forced to write their return policy on all the forms they make us sign.

Pathetic service. They treat you well until you place the order. After that, you see their true color. I was told that once you place an order, if your items are in stock at the warehouse, they would be marked and kept aside for delivery so that they don't show up as available for other customers. However, when I went to the store to schedule my delivery date, they told me that one of the items in my order was out of stock as they gave it to another customer who ordered the same (model) item. Another example of how pathetic they are is their 72 month 0% financing. Its only when you get to the store that they inform you about the 25% down payment that needs to be paid upfront to qualify for the 72 months 0% financing. They also do not price match their website price for this 72 month financing. Its all a big time waste.
We paid in full for a couch and its been few days. No one even bothered to call us to inform us about our delivery date. Its only us who called back. We were promised to get a call back on 11/29. We called again and no one picked up.What kind of customer service is this? Above all that we noticed that when we paid at the bill desk, the guy did not even thanked us for the payment and not even a gesture to welcome us as a new customer. Man please learn some sales skills and do not make customer to feel like a stranger or not respected at all.I hope you deliver our stuff soon and value our money because the customers are the reason why any business works on this earth.

Beatrice gave me the best experience I could've asked for at the most horrendous time for a salesperson-black Friday weekend. She made literal miracles for me with pricing financing etc and helped me accessorize. In one stop I went from zero furniture for the past two months to the couch setup of my dreams complete with dining table coffee table end tables and accessories.
Had a great experience with Mohammed, He was very friendly and honest with me and my girlfriend! We came in looking to spend 1500 and left spending 4000. But it was def worth it because everyone there was nice to us and treated us with respect! We will def shop here again! Ask for Mohammed, trust me!
Stuart has been very nice in dealing with customers and is very patient and courteous towards us throughout many visits I made to choose the right one and all time he worked with us and his communication was fantastic. Over all liked the shopping in Ashley with his help and support.
My parents and I just ordered 2 living room sofa sets from Ashley Furniture in Brunswick on route 1. Our sales associate, Jessica was very helpful both days we went into the store. She was very informative and very patient. Not only did she answer all of our questions and provide detailed responses, but she also did not hound us to buy something. I would 100% recommend reaching out to her if you go to that store.
Limited inventory for tall people
I have been a customer of Ashley Furniture having spent well over $6,000 in the last two months at your store. I came with a friend today looking for a couple of pieces for my home. Imagine my surprise as to the condescending attitude I received from one of the salesperson. I had specific dimensions I written down needed for an entertainment center, and 2 storage pieces. I asked the salesman if he had any pieces related to these dimensions and he curtly told me and I quote, “I don’t know what sizes we had so can’t help you and proceeded to walk away. My friend and I quickly left the store and he did not apologize just said goodbye ladies. I can privately send you the description of the salesman if you want.
Shopping in Ashley Furniture, salesman Khoury was very helpful, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. The assistant manager, Mike could not do enough for us. We are very pleased with our selection, and would go back again.

Extremely frustrating and disappointing service. Sales people are selling and updating incorrect details in the system and blaming customer for everything. Changes in the management every month so no helping hand or escalation point. First time in my life I received used sofa delivery by paying amount for brand new piece which was horrible experience. I am following up with the team since last 2 months to fix it and no support or help provided till today. Managers are very unprofessional and arrogant. I am very sorry to say but I never expected this service from Brand like #Ashely. So not acceptable service team. 😡😡

Not surprised by the low stars this store received!
If zero stars was an option I would leave that. I purchased furniture back in March and the store advised that it would be ready by the first week in May. It was not, fine I accepted that. Then I was told that my bed would be ready the last week of May. Again, it was not. By the end of June when it was ready, I advised to cancel the order. I was told that it would be refunded by my next billing cycle. Three months later, I still have not seen a credit and I do not have the furniture. No one at the store answers my calls. When I text the manager, I am given the run around. At this point, I'm going to file a claim with the BBB because this is absolutely ridiculous. Online customer service can't help since it wasn't an online order. Everything just keeps going around in circles.

If it wasn't for our sales person, Tom Villalva, I probably would have left. The GM of the store, Mike Peterson, is the most arrogant person I have ever met in sales. He has no people skills and tries to be downgrading when talking to you. He is definitely in the wrong profession! Thankfully, my sales person was kind and patient and really did his best to provide good customer service. Now let's see how long before I get my furniture!
Ashley Home has a great selection and the North Brunswick store is truly massive. BUT, the most amazing part of my experience there was the salesperson, Jessica. This woman has the perfect sales skills to learn what you want, to show you furniture that fits within your tastes and budget level, all with a friendly, warm, and highly professional style. The prices were good, the furniture I bought is excellent, and this salesperson was crazy-good!!! :) All of this translated into the best buying experience I can remember. Jessica is the best, make sure to ask for her when you visit.

The store Manager Mike is a very difficult person to work with. The store has a nice collection of items. But how would I leave a positive review when the Manager of the store becomes grumpy when you approach him with an issue with the delivery. He wouldn't even let me complete my sentence. Really bad experience. I would suggest anyone looking for Ashleys furniture to visit the route 22 store at Green Brook.

We purchased a dining room table back in April 2022 at the North Brunswick NJ store. Paid with CC in full. On the Invoice it states clearly Promised by such and such date. Called to check on status and they changed to another date NOT honoring what they promised. We wanted to cancel and get our money back. They do not call back, sales rep and store managers will not call you back. They took our hard earned money, and giving us 101 excuses not to return our money. Be aware of this location as they also stated they are short staffed and delivery problems. We made a mistake using Ashley. Should have stayed with Raymour & Flannigan. Never again!!!!!!!!!!
No idea why anyone would feel good shopping somewhere that forces a worker to stand outside in 90+ degree heat to hold up a sign about a sale. Couldn't find anything else for the poor guy to do? Hope someone in leadership rethinks the marketing strategy.
If I could rate zero, I would. Customer service is horrible. Ordered a dining table back in November - understadable that due to the supply chain issue the things have been slow. However - when spoke to Wanda - she was very rude and had no idea what is going on in the store, ask her anything and her reply is I don't know! Please have someone speak to the customers who knows what is going on! There are many other furniture stores in the area, this store is definitely not worth the time.
We had a very very bad experience. Our dining table had scratches and when we called the store Wanda spoke to us and I asked her what can be done and she was completely clueless. I asked her what my options are and she replied- “ I don’t know “ and later when i asked who I could speak to regarding this since she was clearly no help, she just hung up on me. If you are looking for furniture - there are more Ashley furniture stores near by. DO NOT buy from here, no help whatsoever. My boyfriend Erick and I had spent the whole day looking for a couch. This store was the 4th one we went to. Chris, the sales person was such a great help. Very knowledgeable and friendly. We were able to find exactly what we were looking for with his help!

This store is huge, and well decorated. I happily was able to purchase exactly what I was looking for, and at a great price too! Not to mention the staff is wonderful! I was guided the whole time by Tom. He made great conversation while supplying me with any questions and needs that I had. Very willing, helping, and I won’t forget him because of how he treats his customers. Plus who doesn’t like a firm handshake it was a pleasure meeting him!

Shopping for furniture can be a nightmare. Ashley furniture store in South Brunswick was the fourth store we came to yesterday. As we entered the store an energizing, bubbly, young lady named Amanda approached us. She made us feel so comfortable about being there and very informative of every bedroom set we looked at. We were not exactly ready to buy but her pleasant personality made it easy to order right then and we also bought a new mattress and box spring as well. In time we are coming back for kitchen set. Just came back from a very bad customer service experience at Ashley furniture at North Brunswick. At the time of purchase, the store manager promised a sectional sofa as top grain while apparently it is not. Although he tried to explain options for protection plans and even able to give additional discounts, in the end it doesn't help because the main ask from us which is top grain leather was not satisfied. THe the next day when we found out from their website that it is not leather, I called the store and requested for cancelling the order and I was promised that the money will be refunded in 24 hours. Unfortunately I did not track after 24 hours if the refund was indeed processed. After 25 days while reviewing the credit card statement found out it is still not processed. Here comes even worst experience when I visited the store for refund, the floor manager in-charge for that day simply excused that although she see the notes for cancellation they still can't issue the refund until the person who took the request for cancellation is available. How can this be possible? what if the person that took the cancellation request quit the job and no longer available at work? So today, been calling them thrice to ensure the refund has to be processed the response was, they need some time and then again an hour and keep pushing. I decided to visit the store and they still tried to delay that the manager has left for the day due to an emergency that I couldn't accept and asked that i really need this to be processed today and got it done through another manager available. This store is not professional. Costco is the best, got our sofa delivered today from them.
Was greeted by Amanda as I walked in. She was so helpful and patient as was shown many different couches and mattresses. She was great and friendly and professional without being pushy or overbearing. I liked the store and met the general manager who was just as nice. Really pleasant experience at this store…
My money is stuck for the past 5 months with this store. The delivery date was pushed out by 3 months beyond the originally promised delivery date so I had to cancel the order which their terms permit. But their cancellation process is archaic and requires 2 store visits to get it done. I had requested a refund check which as per their written policy should be delivered within 14 days but it is nearing 2 months and I am still waiting. In the past few months I had to visit the store on numerous occasions because they don't answer the phone. Needless to say how I feel about my experience.

The salesman (Anthony Reyes) had stated that the delivery people would take away our old mattress, provided the size fit. When the delivery folks came, they said they would not take away "dirty" or "ripped" mattresses. We called back the store and the duty manager would not accept that Anthony did not specify this condition when we bought the mattress. We had to haul away our old mattress and get a new one elsewhere. Ashley refunded the money after we went to the store . Had we clearly been told about the specific conditions of mattresses they will take away , we would have bought from somewhere else . Ashley Furniture is the best! They have everything and the store layout is so easy to navigate. Best of all their staff are so helpful. They are also a leader in the community. Mr. Masood (GM) is the best person and he personally help me for finding furniture for my new home,He guide me for doing choices for style and colour for my deferent furniture sets. I will categorize furniture and car salespeople as idiots, arrogant or helpful. Unfortunately, Ashley has mostly former categories than later. Feel sorry for some of the good people working here.
Our dining room set was discontinued and Wanda called us to offer the floor model. Unfortunately, it was 2 chairs short so Wanda helped us find replacements that looked great. She was very helpful and super friendly.
It has been 12 weeks since I put in an order for furniture for my new home. This expectation was set when the order was placed and was agreeable. I then received and email stating that the furniture would be at the local warehouse today. I contacted the location to schedule delivery and instead was told that there was another delay and there was no expectation. The woman who answered the phone said that she would send an email to get an update. I attempted to ask for her to contact me today either way so that I could have some sort of update. Instead she would not allow me to finish my question stating "I cant promise you and answer today". When I attempted to explain I was simply looking for a call back, she hung up. I attempted to call back and my calls went unanswered. They have caller ID so I take it personally that she refused to answer the phone. I have dealt with Ashley for years, and this is the worst experience I have had with them. If and when I receive my furniture, I will not be going back there for future service.

Totally disappointed by the customer service, rude behavior and not friendly. We never expected. Mike didn’t want to even acknowledge that he had interacted with us when we purchased our furniture three weeks back. An unprofessional approach and not an attitude expected from a store manager. I was furious and felt insulted when I left the store. Never going back and would recommend others think twice before going to the store.
I have never been so disappointed with a company's customer service and manner of business. I purchased a home in June 2021 and purchased quite bit of furniture and large appliances from multiple companies. All of which were dealing with backorders and long wait times to receive our purchases. But our experience with Ashley, in comparison to every other company (Raymour & Flanigan, Wayfair, Home Depot, Loews), was so much worse. And we are still trying to get issues rectified (furniture finally arrived and it is damaged). They just cannot seem to get it together. Once this ordeal is finally finished, I will never recommend or shop at Ashley Furniture again. I WSH I COULD LEAVE ZERO STARS
Pathetic service, bought a couch and during the delivery we realized it’s not the right size, so we had to send it back, this happened on Saturday, Monday I went to the store to choose the replacement and manager said the return is not reflected in the system from warehouse. After 1 day got a call from the store and the lady called me and asked for my credit card and she didn’t even know what was original price. I wouldn’t recommend this place

He moved furniture around so I could see what table I liked with my couch! He helped load my smaller purchases in my car. The price was right. The delivery was on time and I love my furniture!! Ashley’s furniture is good and we have been purchasing from this store from the past 13 years, however we had a very bad experience with the current store manager. He came as extremely rude and obnoxious.

Worst shopping experience ever! . This is the 4th time of delay. I have purchased s sofa on August 13 . No update for delays if I don’t ask. Today is November 5 and the next expected date is December 30!!!!! I am tired of waiting. I just cancel it. And purchase a sofa from Amazon.
I have never posted any reviews.. this is the first ever review I m posting for any store. All I have to say is that store manager Mike.. when we approached him with our issue, he started walking towards back office and essentially directed us to continue talking while his back was towards us… and then he continued calling customer service meanwhile pretending to listen to us… he had already made a biased decision on not working with us and kept on saying he was listening to us patiently and gave me phone to talk to the customer service manager on the phone.. no role was played by him and was very disrespectful to customer sentiments.. essentially they delivered product after 3 months and it was defective to its core on multiple avenues .. no option to have product re-delivered.. accused us that we never told delivery guy about the defects, which we repeatedly mentioned.. and now it is over 3 weeks with no resolution . We basically told someone will contact us and they will fix the product (when and where we have no idea)… for something we paid for a brand new product and received low class product… just overall horrible experience.. not only from product perspective but also how the management made us feel… will never ever go again..
Very bad experience don’t buy furniture king bed here anytime they sent a junk furniture to home .with in one week it was reported to replace as it was in bad condition would hurt physically and might cause a spinal cord injury if it were used they made us waited for more than 2 months to fix now they were saying that we can’t replace it very insane and a bad customer service not even polite . It is simply cheating selling junk for money don’t buy
This is my first review with a company when you feel you have been treated unfairly. I bought a dining room set and coffee table back in September and l paid off immediately and put warranty on them. Their delivery team came to deliver 3 weeks after the purchase. They delivered the dinning room set without tools to set the dinning table. A call was made to their office, they said leave the chairs without table due to back order of merchandise. They made another appointment for the dining table and coffee table to be delivered. Two of their staff came back to my house to deliver the dining room table after two weeks . They did not know what they were doing, they told me that they were not trained and they go by the manual that comes with furniture when they deliver. They cracked the dining room table in the bottom. The coffee table was assembled from their warehouse with a piece loose in the bottom . As their staff was putting on the piece of wood that was loose, he scratched the wood. It was a disaster and very bad job that was delivered to me. l made calls to their office. I was told they will make appointment to check it and check the dining table that was delivered. They told me the warranty team will contact me for repair. They ordered tools to be delivered to my house pending the repair. I took pictures of the damaged furnitures and sent to them. The warranty department sent someone to me after two weeks to check the damage and fix the furniture. When the repair staff came, he didn’t touch the coffee table or fix it. He stated that the coffee table was delivered damaged. I went through a very bad experience with this company. I am waiting for another team to contact me in a week to set appointment. It is ridiculous.
I recently purchased a living room and dining room set at Ashley Homestore in North Brunswick NJ and I would like to thank the staff that assisted me, Tony Jeanine and Michael, on their exemplary customer service. It was a pleasure doing business with them. I will definitely refer my family and friends to them!!
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. So that is my 1st experience with ashley which has became a nightmare to me . I'm regretting my decision to get my furniture from a brand which has got a name . We've ordered a dining table & 6 chairs like 3 months ago . Twice they scheduled delivery & then canceled because they received defective item. When I went to the store manager to complain about their service. He said he'll look into this . Anyways they said it will be delivered in a week but then it took more than 2 weeks ,thats OK . But here is the worst thing that after waiting this long time they sent us the DEFECTIVE item. Which has 4 chairs & table defective , 2 chairs with stains , 1 chair is the used one the floor sample (as it has its cushion in different color) , expandabletable table has its leaf fixed by a stick & screws underneath . I called the store right when it was just delivered, they gave me guest service contact. They asked me to send pictures & then they will respond in 7 to 10 days. Today I called back to get some response as they didn't send yet . And they said they decided to fix the items , I mean why would we pay such handsome amount for something old , defective & used . We didn't went to Ashley for the furniture which needs to fixed in the 1st place. When I asked them to take it back & send us new item which is not defective, as this is a customer's right to get a new item atleast. They said its not their policy & they will try to fix the item . Why would a customer purchase a defective item ? This is really disappointing & traumatizing experience we had so far . Now again we put on keep waiting for their call back .
Let me start by saying this is the first review I do where I feel the need to just express my dissatisfaction. I ordered a sofa and chase in June/21 delivery was on 7/19/21. I realized the cushion was not the right one a day later. Made the call, sent the pictures and I was told it would take about a week to hear back from anyone. I never heard anything until I called 2 weeks later. That phone call had to answers for me. After about 10 calls and 2 1/2 months later I am still without a cushion and answers. I emailed my complain, asked for a manager to call me back and I have received no call back, no email. I tried to be understanding because of covid and things are slower than usual. But almost 3 months later I am still getting the run around and no cushion. Customer service has been a hit and miss. I am frustrated, sadly I NEED another piece from them and I can't imagine the nightmare It will become if I do.
This review is only cause of manager Hady, he went above and beyond to resolve the problem with our delivery. Only cause of him, I would highly recommend people to purchase from this particular location. We bought the entire house furniture from here and loving it ❤️❤️❤️

We purchased our furniture on June and we waited for 2 1/2 months for our delivery date on Sept. 17. We called the store only to find out the sectional we chose still hasn't arrived. We didn't even get a courtesy call!! I called on the 14th of Sept., After several long waits I finally got someone. She had a matter of fact attitude. Not very professional. I will be telling family and friends not to shop at Ashley Home Store in North Brunswick, NJ
DO NOT BUY AT THIS STORE Ordered two sofas in April (7 months ago) and still not delivered. Every month I would call them and they'd ask you to wait an additional month. Got sick of it. Today I walked in the store and canceled my order. They had the audacity to lure me with "we just confirmed that the order will definitely come in October".
I was helped by Toni. He was very helpful with everything. With the pandemic going I’m and many items on back order, he was able to help me find a living set.

I walked Into Ashley and was not bombarded by workers which was a plus. I walked through the store found what I was looking for. Tony La was very helpful. Even walked me to the back of the store where they had floor samples they were selling and I got some nice tables for cheap. I ended up buying a complete sofa set with some tables and a nice bed. The overall price was great, customer service top notch. I will Definitely go back. Recommend you pass by the North Brunswick Ashley. You will not be disappointed. Ask for Tony. Tell him Jose sent you.
DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. Ordered a couch 9 months ago, kept getting told that it will be delayed a month after another month after another. Finally get a call that it will be delivered. Took off of work for the delivery date, and it wasn’t delivered. Not possible to contact the delivery service because apparently Ashley furniture doesn’t handle the delivery. Staff has no urgency to help or apologetic. Absolutely unprofessional. No idea where my couch is or when I’m getting it. Will never get furniture from here again. Update: The couch arrived at 8pm that day, 2 hours after the timeframe. It was wrong and there is a piece broken. Couldn’t even call the store about it because it was 9:30 when they finished and the store was closed. I now have a random broken piece of couch sitting in the middle of my living room and no one is helping us. Now I’m scared that we are stuck with it. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS STORE. It’s not worth it. I should’ve cancelled this order months ago.

For a week I tried to order cushion covers for my couch. I went to the Green Brook location numerous times and no one could help me. Today I called the North Brunswick location and Amanda answered the phone. I told her about my experience at the Green Brook location and what I needed. Amanda told me to come into the store and she would order the item's for me. When I arrived she was assisting a customer when she was done she called me over. It took less then five minutes for her to placed the order. She had my order pulled and ready to submit once I confirmed the order. There need's to more employees like Amanda she was amazing and because of that I will be only using her stores location going forward. Thank you so much Amanda!!

Well I have good and bad news with this store. I had a horrible day the day it was delivered. And to top off that bad day I see my bedroom set all nice everything beautiful, except one thing. IT WAS THE WRONG COLOR.

My parents bought a bed, a frame, and a mattress. The store delivered a frame that was too small for the mattress. When my parents asked for an exchange in the store, the rude manager called them liars and refused to give water to my elderly mother who was about to faint. Run If you're dealing with manager 'Mike'.
If I could give this store 0 stars I would. My mother purchased there an entire bedroom set with a mattress. She also bought a sofa bed and a loveseat. When the furniture was delivered the sofa bed was completely damaged and the bed frame was the wrong size. My mother went to the store and spoke with the manager, Mike. He blamed her for the wrong bed frame and kept refusing to replace it. My mother is an elderly person and when faced with such rude behavior she almost fainted. When she asked the manager for some water he refused to help her. We have never experienced such treatment. Please do not let your parents shop there lest they be treated in such way.
I am so upset with the service of the location at North Brunswick, New Jersey. I purchased living room furniture since February 2021, and till today 7/27/2021, have not received my order. Customer service cannot provide me the date I will receive my order!!!!
Our sales rep Tony was fantastic. Super friendly, knowledgeable, and not pushy at all. We went to two other stores prior and found items we liked but were back ordered and because of the horrible experience we chose not to buy from those other places. Because of Tony, we ended up spending more then we originally planned to on a couch that’s back ordered because he made our experience so pleasant. Tony if you read this, thank you brotha. You’re the man and we appreciate your help. Make sure your boss reads this. Tony deserves a raise or some kind of special reward.

I have never seen such a poor service. I have purchased Sofa Bed from Ashley store on May 17, 2021. I knew furniture deliveries are impacted because of Covid so i ensured i select the item which is available so that i can get the delivery asap. I have compromised on the color to ensure i get early delivery. Store Manager confirmed me that the selected product is available in the warehouse and can be delivered in 2 weeks. I didn't get anything in 2 weeks so i called them and they said it will take another week. After 1 week i called them again and they said that product is not available so it will take 4 more weeks. Again i called them today after completing the wait for 4 weeks and they have told me it will take another 2 weeks. I am not sure whether it will be delivered in 2 weeks or i will get another ETA for delivery after 2 weeks. I am certain that i am not going to buy again from Ashley after this kind of service experience.
I enjoyed my experience at Ashley's because the staff on 6/21/21 was Excellent Tony La was exceptional.He made us feel comfortable and explained the products to us. Ashley is Blessed to have great staff especially Tony La.
The Ashley store in North Brunswick is nicely laid out to encourage easy browsing among complimentary groups of furnishings. Our salesman, Tom Villalva, was especially helpful, exhibiting a broad range of knowledge of all aspects of the furniture, including construction, options and availability. Tom was friendly and a pleasure to talk with. He kept our interaction low-key, with no sense of pressure to hurry into a decision or to buy something that would not be 100% suited. And best of all, he gave us a great price!
We bought 2 furnitures couple of years back along with the 5 years insurance. We had problem with them and we were told to reach out to montage insurance. Our claims were rejected by montage for no reasons. There is no point in spending for insurance and the furniture quality is also bad.

Had a great experience inside the store. Great salesman Tony La that helped us out tremendously and answered all of our questions and helped find the perfect set of furniture. Couldn’t ask for a greater person. The delivery side of it is horrible! We had to have 2 separate deliveries because some furniture was in before others, which was perfectly fine. But their 4 hour window should really be a 6-8 hour window because apparently nobody there can tell time. Our first delivery was over 2 hours late, no calls no warning or anything. Our second deliver which just came today was another hour and a half late. I guess the company doesn’t care about people wasting a day off of work to sit around for the deliveries to be 2 hours late.

Pushy sales people. Gives you vibes like talking to a used car salesperson. To make matters worse, we liked something during our visit and called them back to place an order after our visit and the sales manager on the phone was extremely rude and was totally disinterested in helping us place an order. As we all know any shopping experience entirely depends on the sales person. We got lucky and had Tom Villalva to help us. He is very knowledgeable, patient and gives you space to discuss. He did not overwhelm us. We took our time to make a decision and he gently guided us along and gave us a great deal. We highly recommend him. 5 stars are because of Tom only!!

We were fortunate to have a decent experience with Ashley Furniture so far. Trevor was our sales representative, and he was amazing! He answered every single question with the utmost patience, and gave us plenty of space and time to discuss the purchase amongst ourselves. We appreciated his warm welcome and helpfulness throughout the process. The couch took longer to arrive than the anticipated 12 weeks, but we understand that production lines are overwhelmed this year, and that's true for any furniture company. Delivery went smoothly. We noticed the fabric of the couch was puckered on one side, but Ashley Furniture sent a technician out to fix it--and they did! Communication while we waited for delivery was pretty difficult, but we did eventually get the answers we needed--it took a lot of patience and waiting for call backs. We are overall pleased with the service from this store.

My fault for trusting. We ordered furniture and manager was typing it all in. He typed in wrong color. Was talking to us that on how we got the best discount there is. We were so engrossed in this discount we were getting, I never deviled checked the order. Furniture came and was accepted, again my fault and because it’s in my house there’s nothing they can do about it. I called the store and I said I will never trust your manager again. I assumed he was typing in the correct information
I will start off by saying , this was the first but last time i will purchase furniture from this store. I decided to give Ashley furniture North Brunswick a shot because of all the nice furniture they offer. Back in November 2020 I placed an order close to $20k financed for a year, we we’re moving out of state in December and agreed to pick up the furniture in the Philadelphia warehouse since they could not deliver it to upstate NY and delivery will cost me $1200 at my old address in Jersey. I was warned it was going to be 2 to 3 months before I get my furniture because of the pandemic. Three months went by so I started calling since nobody had call me but they would give me a different dates, finally gave me a date 3/15/2021 called that same day they were still waiting for three items but were scheduled to arrive 4 days later 3/19; called on that same day I was told the same thing but everything was going to be there on 3/24. At this point I’m ready to cancel my order it’s been too long and I wasn’t getting it for free so I told the receptionist I wanted to cancel my order. I left a message for sales rep who called me right away saying he heard I wanted to cancel so I explained the situation and he tells me my order was scanned in the warehouse the night before and was ready to be picked up, I said ok I’ll pick it up. My work schedule is Tuesday - Saturday and so is the warehouse. So I scheduled that Saturday off, woke up really early, rented a U-Haul, drove 2 1/2 hrs each way to get to the warehouse just to find out as per credit card policy they could not release my furniture cause it was over $2000 which I respect but nobody explained this to me and made me waste a day of work, $400 on a U-Haul plus tolls and gas money. Contacted my sales rep who apparently didn’t know about this policy . The manager wanted to take $750 and basically wait another week to deliver the furniture which by the way I was getting charged $1,200 reason why I rented a U-Haul to save $900. I was so furious I didn’t care about the money at this point I wanted my furniture delivered or released that same day but they failed to do so. What a way to have a consumer buy in to your product again. I think its crazy how Ashley furniture is suppose to be so highly prestigious but yet they lack in customer services and in communication with customers. All Ashley furniture North Brunswick cares about is having people sign that contract and nothing else, not even a decent email trying to apologize or to make up for the info that a customer very much deserved and didn’t receive. Will be contacting the bbb and letting them know my experience with Ashley furniture store North Brunswick.
BEWARE - ITS FRAUDULATENT PLACE. I purchased furniture back in 2016! Ashley store had don't use don't loose insurance promotion where we pay about 700 dollars extra to purchase protection plan and if we didn't use the protection plan services within 5 years we would be reimbursed money back as store credit. Fast forward after 6 years, Ashley guest services and store goes back and forth with fraudulent info that we used protection plan, where I also have confirmation from the Montage insurance company that we never used their services. This company illegally took away our money and now when its time to get back the credit they are providing false info. This company is a full fraud. Even Ashley guest services are just there to make these frauds and not ready to handle the situation. TOTAL SCAM!! BEWARE everyone.

I can't begin to APPLAUD & COMMEND, the unreal customer service. I went to EVERY furniture store in NJ some parts of PA. I'm the kind of person that would pay 2x as much for better customer service. But I payed 1/2 price for 5 star service. Trevor and my husband and I felt like friends talking. Mike, went above and beyond to cut deals. smelled. Didn't know what more to do, then buy the store lunch after my great experience! I have no idea what these 1star people experienced, they must have definitely reviewed the WRONG store! We just bought a house and furnished every room with them. Prices, quality &SERVICE superseded even the most pickiest shopper like me! I would purchase more if I had more house. Lol. The staff felt like family! P.s. Trevor also gifted me the best soy candle I have ever smelked.
In the past 2 days I've been there twice as I have to ponder my decisions. John greeted me day 1 answered my initial questions and checked with me periodically as I browsed. Nick, saw me wandering at some point and offered his assistance. Day 2 and it was AnnMarie's turn. All 3 were super patient and very helpful. I also interacted with the manager, Mike, both days and he was always pleasant and personable. I haven't purchased yet but had nothing to do with the service or selection.

This has to be the worse furniture store I’ve ever ordered anything from. I ordered a couch set since last November and got part of my order. After calling many times and get a nasty attitude from the workers answering the phone, I stopped. They gave me an excuse every time I try to find out about my orders and always had a different date from my original delivery date. I will never recommend or advise anyone to buy from here. I will be contacting their headquarters to report them.

I try not to leave 1 star reviews because we are all human and someone can be having an off day. However, my experience here needs to be shared. I have two tales one about mattresses and sofas. There is a "hotshot" mattress sales rep that apparently trains all new hires on mattress sales. Why do I know this, well this individual likes to condescend customers with his so called mattress knowledge. A certain level of arrogance can get you far in sales but this guy was trying to beat me down with it. Additionally, beyond the incapable salesman who should go back to mattress sales school or whatever, their markup on furniture should be scrutinized by future customers. I had paid a visit to Raymour & Flanigan Outlet in Princeton prior to going to Ashley. Two exactly same sofa sets at R&F were far less expensive than Ashley's. We need to be smart consumers and give our businesses to establishments that treat us with respect and have fair market prices. My recommendation is stay away from this place unless you like rude, pushy, know-it-all salesman and overpriced furniture.

This company is horrible. They sell you garbage protection plan and when you put in a claim with GBS ITS DENIED!! Ashley is garbage I will never spend another dime there and advise you guys not to as well. And for GBS FURNITURE PROTECTION THEY ARE GARBAGE AS WELL !! Stay away from both !!
When I booked my sofa they told it will take 2 weeks or max 3 but after one week when I called checked they told 3 months. Double check on delivery date. Person sitting front entrance was rude.

I was “promised” my entire bedroom set was to be delivered in 12 weeks. I patiently waited, called Ashley on the 12 weeks mark for an update and the furniture was pushed back 2 more months!!! No one called me with this update, I will be canceling and never ordering again. Buyers beware don’t spend your hard earned money here!
Mary was the salesperson I dealt with and she told me that I will be signing up for a 36 month no interest credit card. Well that was a lie, because I am being charged interest. This is ridiculous, it's a lot of money! I called the credit card company and they said I needed to show proof from Ashley's but Ashley's never sent it over. You guys are leeches, while we are here struggling to make money and wanted to buy a nice couch for once. You guys just care about money and commission. I will never recommend you!
My experience there was great initially. The sales representative we had was nice and attentive. Until there was a dark skin guy with glasses (I think he is the manager) said to my friend "I appreciate it, no one ever does that" while she was moving the pillow and see how the sofa is assembled. This is so RUDE and I have NEVER experienced this kind of disgusting service.
BE WEAR OF THIS STORE. THEY ARE NO CHEAP NOR HONEST !!! I got this sofa last night. I couldn’t inspect because was too dark. And this morning. Look. This is what I got for $1400..... I went back this morning and the guy was very rude..... They were confusing me when I purchase this floor sample as they told me is same as brand new........Then I got this garbage. Worse than second hand. I don’t know how a big company can sell such staff to customer. $1400 is not cheap. Very sad and angry. Be careful of this store. They are not honest !!!!

I bought furniture from this place on SEPTEMBER and I’m still waiting for my dining table, this is incredible, they didn’t tell me this was going to take this long to be delivered, today I called and they told me that maybe it’s going to get delivered by the end of January 2022 this is crazy. l had to spend thanksgiving and now Christmas dinner in a plastic table take you ASHLEY furniture. Worst experience ever. I regret getting my furniture there.
Terrible customer service. Any issue is met with a strong, "oh well" attitude. Was unable to have anyone answer my calls for days. Finally someone calls back with, "we were busy and couldn't answer the phones" excuse. Then, they can't even quote u a delivery time. They can only give u a hopeful date and 2 days prior, they can give u a time. The process just repeats itself until u luck out with matching schedules. No delivery Sunday or Monday. Would never buy anything here ever again and may even return what I purchased if I can't get lucky with their delivery system.
We had the most pleasant experience this past weekend with Manager in Training Matt! Along with his personable attitude and surprising wealth of knowledge, he provided us with an excellent shopping experience and helped us get exactly what we were looking for. We may not be getting it soon because of the issues around the world right now and how it's affecting businesses but I am sure that we will be well looked after throughout this process.

BEWARE :( We purchased the furniture from this store in 2012 and also got the furniture protection plan of $550 for 5 years. We were told that if we don't use the repair service, we will get the refund/store credit. And today when we called them they are saying that we had to get this refund with in 120 days once 5 years are over. But at the time of purchase NO ONE informed about this clause and also it is not written anywhere. Now, the current manager is not cooperating and not ready to listen to us. We spent almost few hour to resolve the issue by calling bunch of numbers but of no use. We purchased this plan due to the fact that it will be refundable. Finally, we have lost $550 .On top of that the leather sofa set was really expensive($2800) based on the quality and comfort. One of the sofa recliner never worked and ripped from side of the seat in first few months. This is very disappointing. And I wish there was a option of 0 star.

My dad bought a dining table the day before but the car we had arrived in could not fit the product in. We said we would come back tomorrow with a bigger van, and can pick it up if we have some help from them to lift it and the employees agreed that this would be possible. My dad comes back the next day and the employees on the floor refused to help him pick up the product that we purchased from them. Are we expected to bring a whole team of people on our own to transport product or just leave it in the store after we paid for it? What a terrible attitude to have towards someone who has purchased from the store. Employees need better etiquette towards customers even if they will not be making a sale, extend a little compassion and be decent people.

This was the least professional furniture store I have ever seen. The sales reps were rude and unknowledgeable. They turned to insults and turned us off from furniture we might have bought had they been respectful. I would recommend shopping at any other store. IKEA has better service and quality then this awful place.
I bought the sofa last year and recently the sofa has started sinking, and its not usable at this point. I have not used this sofa in a way that would cause any damage. The fabric that supports the cushion is ripped. So I called the customer service, since it is covered in the warranty, but they denied to help, instead they told me to contact GBS and file a protection plan claim, and GBS also denied to help saying that they only fix damages above the cushions. This has been a very bad experience, I'd not recommend buying from Ashley Home store. The customer service is horrible and I wouldn't buy anything from Ashley anymore in the future.

Horrible customer service experience! My fiance and I were at this store location last Saturday, Aug. 22nd. The store associate that assisted us was extremely rude, with zero customer service etiquette. After he gave us pricing for shipping and handling, my fiance expressed to me that those #s were not going to work and opposed to having the sofa delivered, we would just pick it up ourselves.. The store associate challenged my fiance by sarcastically stating "oh yea and how are you going to pick it up!?" Rather than explaining to us properly that we wouldn't be able to do so. Also we explained that we would find the same sofa cheaper. He mocked us and laughed in our faces. He told us we would not be able to get it and certainly not for that price. When he asked where we saw the sofa for a cheaper price, we told him we wished not to share that with him and he persisted on laughing at us and prying the name of the store out of our mouths, practically harassing us.. It is as if this man was having a bad day and looking to pick a fight. I am appalled and will never recommend any of my friends or family to visit this store!
Was able to get a good deal on a low cost bedroom set
This experience has been HORRIBLE! We ordered our sectional in June, we requested a delivery for August 3rd, was told "no problem, a week before the delivery department will call you to confirm". End of July I hear nothing so I called, "oh we're sorry you won't get your couch until the end of August because the manufacturer is backed up". Fine, then I check again to get a more definitive date..."Sorry it's still backed up through September"........Call the next week......"Sorry now backed up through October"...WHAT! Why would the time keep pushing back if people are now back to work???? BUYER BEWARE!
My Sales Associate Paul was very helpful and knowledgeable of his products and stock. He offered us 0% financing and easy delivery and setup in our house. The experience was unlike any other furniture store interaction i have had in the past week. I had visited 4 other stores and left each one upset and aggravated. Paul was a breath of fresh air compared to others in his profession.
Purchased an " in-stock " sofa on line, then found out it wasn't even in line for production in China. Returned it and went to the store to buy something off the floor for faster lead time. Sales guy said its "in stock, in Philly". 3 months later, still waiting and they said it was actually " In stock in China " ....
Beware that NO RETURN once it is delivered to your home. I bought a $700 mattress, didn't even open it but the manager said their policy is no return.

I wasn't planning on leaving a negative review because I don't want to see another business hurt because of a negative review until I read another person's review with EXACTLY same experience as mine. I ordered several items but one item never made it. Took 6 weeks to deliver. Spoke to salesman and manager. Manager could see the bill didn't match with what was delivered. Also I was told by a manager that if an item is delivered to you, ABSOLUTELY NO RETURN!!! Buyer beware! Good bye Ashley after $9000!!!

I wish I could give it zero stars for there worst sales/customer service.we ordered items worth more than 20k. Firstly they didn’t deliver all the items after 1 month of waiting. Other thing is there sales person first create a draft bill where he includes all the items and there prices however the person who was entering the items into there system to create a final bill forgot to enter dining table , so they decided to increase one of the item price to include the dining table price and they assured us that they will deliver all the items but at the time of delivery that said as it’s not included in the bill they will not deliver the dining table. We try to reach the same salesperson and he is not responding to any of our calls or msgs. Finally we need to pay additional amount to get the dining table.horrible people not at all trustworthy!
Subpar customer service at best. Terrible follow up on purchases and pathetic compensation when Ashley's does a poor job. Also calling the store has to be one of the most pointless things to do as they never pick up. Highly recommend any other place but this one and its hilarious that all bad reviews get ignored but the good ones the owner will comment on and say thank you. What a joke.
I wish I could give it zero stars. I came in needing a sofa soon and found one with firm cushions and available as a futon. It took 5 weeks to arrive and came with soft, sagging cushions that only got worse with time. It took months of trying to contact their unhelpful customer service before they finally agreed to send a replacement from a third party (supplier in PA) without bothering to figure out what the issue was or trying to fix it. The replacement was exactly the same - soft and sagging, obviously improperly assembled or delivered with the wrong cushion foam. I went back to the store and found the same sample there, still with nice firm cushions despite a year or more as a floor model. In-store customer service promised to call back and never did. To add insult to injury, the model we got is widely available online at a cheaper price than the 'sale' price we got it for at Ashley.

Within 18 months, three separate pieces of the sectional purchased in Nov 2018 have broken. Three thousand dollar couch that doesn't last as long as anything made at Bob's! Customer Service won't help. They ask you all types of questions to avoid responsibility for the junk they sell. Despite the upsell of the "warranty". DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I liked everything about this place I was going to give them 5 stars, but when they sneak something you don't need and refuse to take it or give you a refund, this is not acceptable and I will stay away from the place and I will try to keep my family and friends away from this place thet only care about the sale not the customers.

Be advised that Ashley HomeStore is NOT the same as Ashley Furniture on line. They do not match online prices or honor discount coupon codes or provide Free Delivery. They charge even to pick -up Furniture at the Store plus have outdated procedures when paying by check. Delivery updates keep changing even when the furniture is in stock at their warehouse since it has to be shipped to the store to have it put together then delivered for many items. It took over 6 weeks to finally be able to pick up a table in a box, otherwise, there would have been an $85.00 charge to have it put together and delivered for an piece of furniture that was under $300.00. Would NOT order again from an Ashley HomeStore.

Very good experience shopping at Ashley Furniture. I went in the store to purchase a sofa. The salesman was very helpful. He provided all the information I needed to make a decision on my purchase. The Customer Service Representative, Jeanine D., was very pleasant and efficient.
Ms. Dina was very rude, arrogant and the way she communicated with us was not very pleasant. Her intention was not to satisfy the customer, it was only to get her part of the commission from the purchase. They do have great products, but a great product does not guarantee that customers will come back.
We went to Ashley store in North Brunswick it was an amazing experience. Our sales person was Dina M. She is an excellent sales person she knows very well her work. She listen to our needs and requirements and then show the one which suits our needs. Also she provided best options for us. We bought master bedroom furniture and we were very happy with the entire sakes. We have 2 kids and they enjoyed the buying process. I would 100% recommend this store. She was extremely knowledge and made our shopping for a new sofa effortless. She listened to what we were looking for and showed us examples of what we wanted. I bought a bedroom set from here. The bed frame cracked up the sides. I reached out for warranty within 1 year and nobody ever got back to me. Out of everything I bought, 1 bed frame is cracked in 4 places, 1 dresser drawer has broken track, 1 dining room chair has uneven legs, and 1 chair has split leg. I was going to do a living room set, but I'd prefer it lasts. Also I hope ppl realize just how bad a place has to be to get below 4 stars on google. It's basically 1 star at that point, between fake reviews, incentivized reviews, and the occasional happy as of now review....
Bad quality products. Sofa spring underneath is broken and aligning incorrectly within 9 months I bought it for $1800. The warranty and customer service is not all responsive. Though we have taken protection plan for 3 years, they don't even respond to your calls or emails. Sales folks are good. Once sold, you are done. No customer service. Next time, I bought furniture from BOBS Furniture. Excellent sales and service from BOBS Furniture.

The worst place ever to shop for furniture. It took 4 months to resolve an issue. In the show room they show you a different product than the one delivered. Then they ask for more money. Unprofessional crew. The manager (Mike) is always busy when calling, and he won’t return my calls EVER. If you go in the store, you will find him vacuuming, instead of returning calls. Worst experience ever.
Pathetic sales people. Store looks like run down as if they are getting ready for a liquidation sale. staff is mostly indifferent and some are rude when asked for help. They have a 50 percent off sale but they already marked up the prices so I don't see a deal here. I went to buy a sofa amd loveseat and they didn't offer much help at all and I left. Fortunately there are some better stores nearby. Even a low end store like Bobs has better service than this sorry mess of a furniture store.
Visited this store on a quiet day. There is a sales person by name Dina who was very arrogant, rude and insulting to the point of being obnoxious. Upon enquiring about price of a side table she acted was selling Lamborghinis and said she doesn't tell us approximate prices but only interested in design aspects. What a wierd argument. Anyway she has difficulty speaking English, was shouting loudly for no good reason and tried to insult my wife and me multi times just for asking the price of certain items. Too bad for the store manager, Dina's attitude costed them a few thousands worth of business that we gladly took it to nearby competitors. It all takes one person like Dina to spoil the store's brand image.
Do not go to this place if you need the furniture by a certain date.. I actually recommend Bob's over this place; at least BOBS can deliver the entire furniture set in time. Stressed from the start I needed everything by X-MAS eve..Showed up 12/23 with ONLY a love seat and no explanation as to why the sofa was missing..Was lied to about receiving same on x-mas eve, had to run out an hour before company showed up and spend $100 on folding chairs..DO NOT go to to this place.

There were 3 sales people in the store that were more interested in what was on their cell phones than helping any customers. We walked around for 20 minutes, passing each sales person, none of them offered any assistance, so we left. I won't be surprised when this location closes.
We agreed on a deal, I signed paperwork and then I waited forever in their seating area only for them to go back on their word. After waiting for an hour and half as they “prepared their paperwork” they ended up telling me the system wouldn’t accept the pricing that we agreed on. WHY WASTE MY TIME FOR THAT LONG!!??? WHY NOT TELL ME THAT IN THE FIRST PLACE?!?! So I left but then didn’t have a chance to keep furniture shopping because It was getting late in the day and I was annoyed! I do not have time for games and do not recommended them.
Good offers on Black Friday. We had sales rep Khoury who was very receptive and polite to begin with. However, the moment he felt we were not interested, he started showing his true “salesman” colors. We were shocked to see his contrasting behavior in such a short span of time. When we approached him with a question “ Hey Khoury, do you have a minute” His answer was “No! I am busy with another customer striking a deal. What do you need?” I replied “we want to buy”. And he responds “ let me find someone”. I heard salesmen could be chameleons. But never expected this drastic. No wonder he was a salesman. The only reason why I gave two stars was due to the branch manager Cary. She was helpful and honest. May be folks like Khoury get some training on customer service skills. Understand sales amount is important. But one does not age. To stoop down this low for that.
On 11/16/2019, I purchased a sofa and love seat. I received great customer service from C.J Wise and Mike T. and that is why I am giving my experience a 2 and not a 1. I was excited about my purchase and was told that my furniture could be delivered any day after 11/26/2019. I wanted the furniture to be delivered before Thanksgiving so I selected 11/27/2019 as my delivery date. I was advised that this date was open and available for my furniture to be delivered. I was also told that the delivery company would notify me 2 days in advance to give a time frame of when I should expect delivery. On 11/25/2019, I received a text message confirming that my delivery would come on 11/27/2019 between 10am and 2pm. On 11/26/2019 I called customer service to see if they could notify me 30 minutes before the arrival time. I was told by 3 different reps that my furniture was not going to be delivered on the scheduled date. They said the pieces were not in. In the end, I cancelled my order because everything was very unprofessional. I received a text message saying my order was going to be delivered as scheduled and when I call I am told that the furniture is not ready. No one from Ashley Furniture called me to let me know that the furniture was not going to be delivered in advance. I did not feel that my business was appreciated. There were no solutions or offers made to me to show that the company was truly apologetic for not delivering on the agreed upon date. I had to make changes to my work schedule to accommodate the delivery that did not take place. If there was more effort put in to trying to find where things went wrong and if I was notified in advance, then I would be fine with the delivery coming at a later date. I was not happy and cancelled my credit card with Ashley Furniture as well as the furniture set. As a company, you need to do better with communicating with your customers and making sure that you deliver on agreements. I know your company would want customers to pay you on time so customers should expect the same thing.
Horrible staff...I was told it’s okay to sleep on the floor until my furniture arrives. Poor communication. Mark in sales sucks!!!! The whole store is very misleading. Beware.... Go elsewhere!!!!!
I purchased a mattress on Saturday and advised the manager that I was moving on Monday and needed it delivered either prior to Monday or on Monday. He told me that they do not do delivery, but that they have a third party source that will deliver my mattress for a cash payment of $130 which is to be paid at the time of the delivery. He also advised that the person who delivers my mattress will handle installation. I impressed upon him how important it was that my mattress be delivered prior to or on Monday, he said it wouldn't be a problem. On Monday morning, I called Kenny (the third party source that was to deliver the mattress), he advised that not only was the order not sent to him, but that he cannot deliver it until NEXT WEEK. What am I supposed to sleep on for the next week? As if that is not bad enough, I have called the store FIFTEEN TIMES today, and not once was I able to get someone to ANSWER THE PHONE or LEAVE A MESSAGE. So basically, I spent $1,000 for a mattress and now have am not going to be able to sleep on it anyway. The WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. Never go to this location!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Horrible, Horrible,Horrible customer service , i ordered a sectional they had on display on October 14, 2019 , the salesman promised me 2-4 weeks delivery, once the order was made i saw that he wrote 2-6 weeks and said it promised delivery on or before November 25, 2019. Not only did i think that i would't take that long , but it's not even in stock yet as of November 24, 2019. Why sell me something that's not in stock . i Try to call and they never answer and when they do they tell me they don't know when it's coming in and keeps getting pushed back week after week. How does a business not have track of their inventory. I Will be going to get my refund this week i have waited to long and patient. *** THEY ONLY RESPOND TO POSITIVE REVIEW AND NOT NEGATIVE, WHAT A BUNCH OF COWARDS AND SHADY PEOPLE*** BUYER'S STAY AWAY !!! I went into this store this morning looking for a recliner had the name and item number, the sales person that met me at the door looked it up and told me they have it in stock. Another person came up ( I can only assume it was the manager) and said they don’t have it in stock. After looking at other items I decided to order the recliner and asked what the delivery cost was they told me $150.00. The chair is $289.99 I told them no thanks that’s half the cost of the chair. I came home to order it on line the delivery charge is $30.00 with the same set up and placement in my home. WHY WOULD THEY CHANGE ME AN EXTRA $120..00 FOR DELIVERY ????? I’ll never enter that store again.
Customer service is awful. I ordered simple parts through customer service. 2 weeks later I called to find out the status of the delivery. Customer service never submitted the order!! 2 more times this happened to where I went to the store and had a sales rep call customer service and place the order. I still freaking here waiting....17 days later and at least 4 hours on the phone! Incompetence at best!!

Horrible customer service. The salespeople at the store were nice and helpful. But the customer service for delivery took over three months and when they finally did show up they only brought half the order - the rest will arrive in two weeks ! I do not believe in righting reviews publicly. However I was tossed around from customer service from one person to another , told management was not available and would get a call back. I have still yet to receive a call back. The furniture quality is nice that’s the unfortunate part. In this day and age with this lack of service they will be out of business before you know it. Buyer beware.

Their phone doesnt work and they are impossible to get in touch with. I've tried speaking with the manager multiple times to find out why I have not received any delivery date as of yet even though I ordered everything 3 weeks ago. Even though I'm currently living out of suitcases, I am strongly considering canceling my order and purchasing from somewhere else. Hugely disappointed in this place.
When I went into the Ashley Home Store I expected to be attacked as you are in other furniture stores with the vulturous salesmen not even waiting for the door to close behind you before they start tearing into you. Pleasantly surprised we were greeted by our salesperson Mike, who guided us to exactly what we were looking for in Living room sets. We liked what we saw but told him we had one more place to look. He gave us a card with all the information we needed and if he was not there when we returned to see CJ. Well we did return and we met with CJ who was just as friendly, courteous, and pleasant as Mike was. We made the purchase and he showed us how he was making sure that Mike was getting credit for the sale. We returned two nights later to purchase some other items, accessory tables, a desk and other items. Again CJ who had a great personality and presentation, took care of us. We will be returning again to purchase our other needed items for our home. Overall the experience we had with Ashley Home Store from the sales people to the cashiers behind the desk, to the store manager were extremely friendly and welcoming. Great People, Great Store, Great Experience!!
It's a great store in North Brunswick with great furniture variety. You will find high-end and low-end types. It's a huge store, so you have to spend some time looking here and there to finally buy something of great value. Sometimes, you also find amazing last-minute deals with no-returns. We found such a deal for $750 for dining table and four chairs (originally $2550) and didn't think twice before buying it. We spend nearly 90 minutes looking for such a deal. I felt the overall furniture was shown off to be overly expensive just to advertise big discounts to attract potential buyers, which is fine in this country I guess, but sometimes people get trapped into buying something expensive with lesser value.
Terrible customer service. Overpaid for poor quality furniture. They delivered half the furniture and “couldn’t find” the rest for 1 week. Finally delivered 3 weeks later with grease stains! Customer service always promises to call back and never do. Terrible experience. Buyer beware!
Went in today I knew exactly what I wanted .. my sales representative Mohammed seemed helpful at first .I asked him a few times to speak to his manager Mike about the prices especially when I saw it cheaper on line. Mohammed refused!! When it was time to pay the price increased extremely. When I asked Mohammed again to speak to the manager he refused and told the young lady who was doing the paperwork to cancel the order ! My jaw dropped I have never been treated like that way! I was ready to walk out till the Manager Mike took care of everything and even apologized.. I hope Mohammed does not get commission he was horrible salesman..
Salesperson was very nice and helpful, but we have waited over 3 weeks for 1 (one) mattress and was told it might take 4-5 weeks! Unacceptable. The corporate office says each Ashleys is individually owned and can't help us! The number for the store online and through the corporate office is not a functioning number, so you can't get a hold of anyone from the store by phone! First time customer and last time customer!

I had the order estimated delivery in by September 11th 2019 and the customer support just informed me the date was pushed to end of the month, too much delay and I'm thinking in cancelling this order and go to another vendor.
Worst place ever! I bought a couch and I did not notice the hole in it until 2 weeks later. I called guest services and spoke to Claudette who kept asking me to send all these different pictures of the hole at different angles putting me on hold too. Then after wasting all my time doing that she tells me they can not do anything. Really what a joke! I spent $500 to get this couch and waited 3 weeks for delivery to get a damaged couch and because I did not notice the hole in 72 hours because I had just recently moved to area and had a million things to do they won't replace it. NEVER BUY A THING FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE!!! I see they don't respond to bad reviews either only to the good reviews. WOW!!!!
Buyer Beware! Do not patronize this location. Lies from beginning to end. Abysmal customer service!! O On July 25th, my wife and I ordered a couch and was told that it will be in the warehouse within 1 week and then set up for delivery in 2 days. When we called a week later to follow up on our couch, we were told it was still at least another week or 2 until it's expected. When we complained that we were told other wise, the girl that we spoke to was curt and couldn't get us off the phone fast enough. Today we received an automated call that delivery will be Friday evening. This time was inconvenient as we are not going to home Friday evening but since the call was automated, we didn't have the option of speaking to a person. We called the store who gave us another number to call. That next call told us the only option was to rearrange delivery for a later time. We are cancelling this couch and going to another store.
Do what you want, but learn from my experience. Do not go there. Talked us into getting a full warranty about a year ago that they will not honor now because they stopped using that company. This is after going back and forth with them and this company for 8 months!!! Ashley's customer service would literally put us on hold for 30mins then just hang up. This happened constantly. My wife would call back right away and it would just happen again. We emailed and called multiple times and they do not reply or just hang up on you. It's insane how bad they are. Go if you want, but you were warned. I just had to add that its hysterical that every reply to a bad review is to just email their support address. This is the same one we've been emailing for months! Are you kidding me dude! They never reply so you're basically saying tough luck.
This email request was sent to me on 7/5/19, the day after I purchased my furniture, while the salesman was very good and showed me the items I was looking for... I have yet to receive my furniture and today is 8/10/19. I have spoken to numerous people at Ashley Furniture and I get the same response... "Let me email the warehouse and I will get back to you"...There has been one person that has called me back and that was Korinne (sp?), the general manager Chet said the same thing and that was Wednesday... he has yet to call me back and today is Saturday. I asked to have the 1 item that is in stock to be shipped... I was told that is not possible. I am perplexed as to how long a customer is supposed to wait for non-unique furniture. I am confused as to why customers are unable to get return phone calls. I am puzzled as to why customers can't be accommodated, instead of being punished for choosing furniture that is not in stock.
Sales man was very rude, the whole store has sign for 65% off and when asked salesman he would say he doesn't know what item that would be!!! All prices were marked more than double to show they have a sale.
For some reason we had a horrendous customer service lady attending us, her attitude was rude and argumentative over delivery fee questions and her demeanor was so unhelpful so we had to ask for a different customer service representative. They also informed us that the minimun amount purchase to be able to use their credit card is $600 and over, and there is certain fee of $38? the sales person also mentioned we would have to pay.... still confused about this fee, still not sure what is it for. The delivery time is 2 to 3 weeks. Raymour and flannigan and many other furniture places delivery is within 3 to 5 days of purchas. Thankfully GM was in the store that day and was able to correct and override a lot of NON SENSE coming from this store, otherwise we wouldn't have purchaded one item here.
The BEST FURNITURE STORE IVE EVER BEEN TOO! They accommodate all tastes and genres! Mike the manager is amazing and goes over and above to meet your expectations!

Although the sofa looked nice in the store, the fabric and shape wore out very quickly. I live alone and rarely use the sofa, but one day about a year after I bought it, the wood frame broke along the back—seemingly out of nowhere. I called customer service because I bought the $250, 5-year warranty... but found out the warranty doesn’t cover the frame! Wait, what?!? Only wine spills and things of that nature. Waste of money... very cheap furniture!! I’ll NEVER go back and I would NEVER recommend their products. I wish I could give 0 stars. Worst purchase. Worst customer service experience. You’re better off going to IKEA.
A couple of months back we bought a whole bed room set and mattresses from this store. The staff who attended to us was very knowledgeable on the products. However, the queen mattress was defective and we went back here last week to have it replaced. The staff who attended to us showed our options and we ended up buying a more expensive one to ensure we get a better item. Difference as fine however we were asked to pay the "Delivery Fee" of $150.00!!! I emailed the customer service and was told they couldn't waive it. They said it is not related to the product and I emailed back asking for a call from their Manager and until now, I have not received one. It was not our fault to receive a defective material. Moreover, we spent more than $4K++ with them and I don't think this is excellent customer service. I would rather buy again from Raymour & Flanigan next time.

We have always been buying our furniture from this store and recently had the opportunity to visit this store to buy Sofa Set.Mr Moudi Hamdar was the Sales Associate who really took care of us and did his best to help us in selection.But unfortunately when it came to finalization of the purchase he could not meet what he promised/assured.He requested his manager to help him in keeping up his promise.Surprisingly the manager Mr Mike Abihzer instead of putting in efforts to get the deal done, he projected could not care less attitude.When mentioned,that we have been regularly buying from this store and returning customer,shockingly his response was why are you mentioning that.It appeared he had no motivation to do the business and gain customers.Just for the efforts and hard work put in by Mr Hamdar we did not walk away.As regards paper work and delivery we had a pleasant experience. Special thanks to Mr Kevin Jones and his partner who took pains and ensured smooth delivery .
SCAMMMERS!!! under a new management and the customer service is THE WORST! bought a new couch set and the cushions started sagging within a month. Here I'm 10 months later and they are still "trying" to send their technicians. Someone came in twice but nothing after that. They dont stand behind their products. They will keep delaying your service call so that they carb tell you you're out of warranty. Stay away from these robbers. Do you really want to deal with a company that can't even fix their own products?
Been over 10 months of complaining of a broken sofa, not willing to refund. They’ve come to our place 3 times and they keep sending materials. It’s the couch that is broken and needs to be returned. Horrible service, never buy from here!
DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! Bought a leather recliner for my elderly in laws. Less than a year the leather is wrinkled, getting firm and tearing at the wrinkles. It's almost like the leather on the chair is at least 5 years old and this is happening all over the recliner. Called the insurance and it's not covered because it's not accidental, called Ashley for a manufacturer warranty and they asked for photos to their Philadelphia customer service center which I send. After sending these pictures 4 times (they never call you back either) their management informed me today that leather is not covered under the warranty. The best they will do is ship the leather to me and I have to PAY SOMEONE TO GET IT INSTALLED. This company is terrible, I will be taking legal action and I'll make sure to tell everyone not to do any business here.

The service, to help us find exactly what we needed, was excellent. Ruby went out of her way to personally track down a missing chair from a discontinued set. She organized, with the assistance of her manager Chet, the entire transaction via cell phone. We have bought other items with Ruby's help, and will continue to do so in the future.
Take your business elsewhere. I own a mattress from Ashley HomeStore and it is sinking. I contacted Ashley customer support and after numerous conversations they finally sent their 3rd party company to my apartment to test the mattress. The 3rd party determined that the bed was in fact sinking 1.5 inches and that a warranty replacement should be issued. After more back and forth Ashley management decided that they did not want honor the warranty and now allege that they do not support Sealy mattresses anymore even though they were the ones who sent the technician to our apartment in the first place to inspect the bed. Upon further review I discovered that this location has a "F" grade with the Better Business Bureau and I can see why. The owner of this store should sell it to someone who knows how to run a business. I look forward to taking them to small claims court when this issue does not get resolved.
Purchased the Calamine Couch and Loveseat. Had it delivered in 5 days. No flaws or scratches in the leather. Excellent price. If you see something you like, don't leave without speaking to "Mike", the store's GM.
Sales person were not ready to provide support to their potential customer. They were busy with discussion within themselves. Everytime we had to look for sales person to help with our questions and queries. Not a great place to shop for home furniture. Prices are pretty high with markup. Did not feel comfortable and our 3 hours we're wasted.

Starting with the young salesman at the store - he was polite and very helpful and the information he gave was more than satisfactory. The delivery notification and subsequent delivery of my recliner could not have gone smoother. Set up was fast and professional. I have already recommended this "chair" and Ashley's to friends and family.
This review is intended for this location only, not for the quality of products. I walked into Ashley HomeStore with every intention of purchasing my couch there. (I had been to three furniture stores before here). The salespeople are SO pushy it’s insane. They jump all over you, at one point I was looking at measurements and a salesman asked what size I needed to which I replied “Nothing longer than 8 feet” to which he laughed and replied “Good luck with that!” And walked away...I would like to point out they have MULTIPLE modes that fit what I need. I was baffled, the salespeople hovering and constantly making aggressive comments was a horrible experience and I walked out. I’ll just buy my couch online.

Apparently this business thinks that customers are most available during 10am-5pm mon-fri to pick up furniture - because customers don’t have jobs themselves. They don’t staff folks in operations to process pickups...even on a Saturday. Terrible customer service! No options offered as alternatives.
Beautiful showroom. Prices reflect that, the sofa and chair I wanted was $1600 plus taxes and delivery. I just went on Amazon and got the same two for $957 with taxes and delivery included. SCORE

Very bad at customer service
It was a clean and well displayed and structured store. They had so many options and the person let us chose the right stuff we wanted and explained everything about the deals available, furniture combinations with prices and dimensions, warranties and delivery charges. It was very good experience.
My experience was awesome. My sales rep was Ruhi. She was the best. Good listener, made it a fun experience, and did not try to force anything on me. Ask for Ruby if you go. The young lady who rung me up was also very pleasant and was able to answer my questions. I do not remember her name unfortunately. I recommend this location. Ask for Ruby.
Delivered a broken bed last week, And mentioned that I should speak to customer service to fix it. And every time it took 15 to 20 minutes or sometimes keep on waiting to reach them. And finally when they pick up the call, they will ask u to send the photos , which they never receive in their inbox due to their email storage limit. And will continue to have this discussion and no conclusion so far!!!!! Very disappointing and will no more purchase in Ashley . Customer care @ Online stores like Amazon and wayfair are lot better than these stores.
I don't recommend buying from Ashley's unless you have a flexible schedule for delivery. Its take long time and also worst customer service in the store

During this years thanksgiving 2018, me and my wife wanted to get a dresser that was due for a long time. We were looking at a dresser in ashley furniture store for about 8 months online and during thanksgiving we went to two ashley stores (this one and the one in north brunswick) to check it out in person. They marked the price to $2100 and had 60% entire store which brought the price down to around $1000 which was higher than the regular pricing. Online pricing was $750-800. This place is such a rip off. Do your homework before you buy at these kinda places. Then we came to Bobs discount furniture and found an exact dresser for a reasonable price. I would always trust bobs. They have best pricing and good quality.
We shopped on Black Friday. The place was very crowded. We weren’t greeted at the door by anyone, which was fine by us. As we were looking around Mike asked us if we were greeted at the door, we said no. He proceeded to introduce himself and asked if we needed any help. We said we were just looking. As we were looking around he’d find us an check in I asked a couple questions regarding a set I saw in online which he answered promptly. Mike was super friendly, not pushy and put up with my husband’s humor. Lol. We ended up buying 2 recliners & a love seat in a micro fiber. Waiting for them to call to set up delivery. The date on the receipt said delivery by 1-9-19. We knew they were back ordered on this particular set. As for the salesman Mike he was A++ I highly recommend
We have had the most horrible furniture shopping experience at this store. Had ordered a day bed back in April which was delivered with an entire side missing and hence had to be returned. They came back with the same three sides again and yet again for the 4th time and it has been 6 months since. We finally decided to cancel our order and will never shop here again after this experience. The customer service is extremely unhelpful and disconnected from the store management. Will not recommend to anyone.

Prices are good but it takes far too long for delivery. They say 2-6 weeks and it is always 6 or more weeks. Makes no sense as a furniture company that you wouldn't have items in stock ready to ship and make your customers happy.
If you want a couch or any furniture within a week or two do not go to Ashley’s. There expected delivery time is 6-8 weeks. Better going to Raymour or Bobs furniture for a faster delivery.
Pray to god that your furniture gets delivered without any issues the first time. No damage, no missing parts. Unfortunately, I had a missing part and it took them three attempts over a period of 5 months to get the complete piece delivered! The first delivery itself takes 4 to 6 weeks and then you will end up waiting similar times for each delivery attempt. And on top of it, they will keep bringing bad / damaged furniture again and again! So logically you will think, the store will help you with your issues; WRONG! They will simply blame it on customer service. The store's job is only to sell you the furniture. No responsibility afterwards. The customer service on the other hand is not trained at all to handle these cases. They would not understand what you are talking about. They will not be proactive in scheduling another delivery. You will need to BEG, request, YELL to get their attention. Overall, it was a complete nightmare for me! Never again Ashley!

I have purchased Blairstown PWR REC sofa and love seat from Ashley New Brunswick. While purchasing, as the product does not have any details related to the type of leather, I asked the question about what is the leather type, the lay who was selling is not have any idea about the leather type and pulled other guy saying her manager which he said is the top grain leather where the body touches. Later, after I purchased, I checked online which is quoted less than what they sold in the shop and does not say anything about leather type. I called today to the store and asked them online does not indicate anything as its a top grain leather, they say its NOT top grain leather which is exactly opposite to what they said yesterday. I FEEL CHEATED WITHIN 15 HOURS AND A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AS I FEEL LIKE BETRAYED

We just made our purchase today, so cannot comment about the delivery or received product yet, but our experience in the store and with the sales reps was exceptional. Mike, C.J., and Trevor (sp?) were super friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful throughout the experience, without ever being pushy. Working with them made us very happy, and the information they were able to provide to us gave us confidence and comfort with our purchase. Definitely happy with the selection of furniture, and am very happy for the expert and friendly help we received. Thank you! Update: Shipping worked great as well! The estimate was for 2 to 6 weeks, and we received all of our pieces intact and within 4 weeks! A pleasant shopping experience from start to finish.
Sales person was nice. The store is very dimly lit, which makes choosing colors difficult. This store has no return policy, so choose very carefully or shop online. Edit to add: and obviously they don't read reviews. This was not positive.

What a nightmare! Still waiting for the horrible store in North Brunswick NJ to return my call. They delivered a bed with no rails and can't find the rails, no handles for my dressers, and they broke the mirror for my dresser and never brought it. Customer service is the worst I've ever experienced. Three days later nobody calls back or acts like they care at all! I call the store and they don't answer, if they do they put me on hold and leave me there. TERRIBLE COMPANY!!!!
Tldr- horrible store stay away. I got a queen bed, king bed, dresser, night stand, of which dresser came damaged. Also during delivery and installation delivery guys damaged my wall. When i came back to store to check my delivery of new dresser, they asked me to reach customer service. Customer service was unable to give me estimate of delivery. So when i went back to store, they said they dont care about delivery as customer service can only handle this situation. They were all very courteous and friendly before payment. Sales representative tone changed after payment when asked about delivery. This is horrible place to shop when you are spending few grands for your furniture. Stay away from this place at all costs.

This is the most unprofessional establishment I have ever dealt with. If it wasn't for the Mike (very helpful from start to finish) in sales I would have walked out an ordered everything online. I had a sales duo, the other sales person in the middle of pretending to help me tell me he had to go pee. He came back and was missing a writing instrument and proceeded to disappear for another 15 mins. When it was time to place the order he missed a whole dining room set so when they request the line of credit they didn't request enough money and I had to use a personal credit card. There is no deal on the 0 interest, they work the price of the interest onto the price of the furniture. The rolling of eyes and sucking of teeth made it a pleasurable experience when dealing with billing area. Please ensure you read the sarcasm. So I had sever damage to my home and need them to hold my order, in doing so they restocked my furniture so when it was time to have it delivered, 2 of my chairs where discontinued, the offered me the floor samples. Which meant I was responsible for getting the chairs to my house on my own. I had to rent a van to get them ( more money out of my pocket) I highly recommend going to the store and ordering online!!!! If you do not feel my pain and go, see Mike he is at least professional!.

BUYER BEWARE! Ashley Furniture became a 3rd world country corporation.My issue's been going on for over a month now with no solution. I ended up calling my bank to file a dispute. Long story short I bought $10.000 worth of furniture from this store. My entertainment center came with a missing piece.No problem I understand people make mistakes. But after a month and half and several phone calls later they still don't know what they are doing. Every time I call them they tell me a different story. They source their furniture from a 3rd party company and that company will deliver the furniture to your home. So please do yourself a favor and take your money somewhere else. Their sales team will quickly try to sell you something and take your money and once your money is gone it will be really hard to get it back.

i placed order may 13 for dining set and 2 carpet and i waited 2 months then i told this model discontinued ? took 2 month's to tell the customer i end up buying floor model with 10% discount and $150.00 deliver fee ( should be free delivery ) last week i was in the store again try to figure about my carpet. store manager told i will get the carpet delivered Sunday before noon ( lie ) i waited until 2pm of course no delivery end no calls . just now i called the store and manager don't want to talk to me lady answered the phone telling me this is special order :) what special order only f....k carpet 75 days already. never ever deal with this store bunch of liars , bad service.

Sorry for giving them 1 ⭐️ They really don’t deserve it but I had to so I can post my review, It’s the worst company and service ever, I ordered 3 bedrooms and dining room I received them after a month and everything was damaged so I returned everything back and after That is figured out that 1 room from my order is discontinued and they emailed me that they sent it with my orders which is ridiculous and after trying to call them more than 10 times and of course putting in on the hold for hours and switch me from sales to sales to managers and going back and forth to the store they deliver them again damaged after another month so I had to cancel everything with them except the mattresses but this time they said that i already received the mattresses and after waiting almost 3 months they said that they are waiting until they receive the returned items And then they will deliver the mattresses because it’s not only me who having problems or returning items which means that it’s really sucks company Then the customer service scheduled delivery date and when I called the store to confirm the delivery the day before I found out that they didn’t set any delivery date. I advise no one gets anything from there not the quality not even the service. #NOT-RECOMMENDED #ZERO-STARS #ZERO-SERVICE
Sofa only buy 3 months or so, so bad, call the customer service, they said the parts mailed to your home first, and then make a phone call, I received the parts to call the customer service, they speak staff will call me an appointment time to my home repair, a week passed didn't call me, also did not give me a replacement, so disappointed with this company!
Our sales rep in store was amazing I forgot his name but he was extremely knowledgeable with our pieces and gave us a great deal for our whole order...HOWEVER! I was told that my bedroom set and all other pieces were in the warehouse but my mattress was going to be in by a certain date because it was not yet available ,I was also told that I would get a phone call on the date that the mattress was “supposed” to get to the warehouse and that day came and went, so upon me calling this location which I called SEVERAL times in the same day with no answer until about the 10th call, The rep was very short and ill knowledgeable and didn’t seem to want to be bothered..if there is a 2-6 week delivery gap don’t tell me you will call me next week when the mattress was “supposed” to be be in the warehouse to set up a delivery date!! Love the furniture just simply an unorganized staff!!

worst customer service in the industry. Got an adjustable bed base and king size bed furniture delivered on 05/05/18. Adjustable bed base has damage on the cloth and inside cushion is exposed. Bed furniture frame is scratched and damaged. Delivery guy said to call customer service and they would fix it. Called customer service 5 times and every time I am put on hold and call is dropped. Finally spoke to a woman that said she would forward my case to the supervisor. I also emailed the customer service email address multiple times and sent pictures of the damage. It has been almost 2 months and still no one from customer service has reached out to me to fix the damaged furniture even after multiple emails and phone calls to customer service. This is unacceptable. DO NOT BUY FROM ASHLEY. I also ordered furniture from Raymour & Flanigan and they also had some damage to the furniture however they contacted me immediately, set up appointment for technician to fix the issue and fixed it within 2 weeks. Ashley really needs to get their customer service fixed and learn from Raymour. When you spend thousands of dollars on furniture you expect it to be in perfect condition on arrival and even if it is not then the company should fix the damage as soon as possible. I basically paid a premium for damaged furniture. I even bought an extended warranty on the bed base but I doubt they would even honor it or take action to fix anything if I put in another claim in the future. What a waste of money.
The Ashley store in North Brunswick has to be one of the worst Ashley experiences I have never expected. I called the store looking for an specific tv stand that online is priced for $600 and said was available only in stores this was Saturday when I called ( After many holds ) I found that it was discontinued, but Moe said they had a floor sample that could sell to me , he told me it was $300. Another sales rep C.J. confirmed this with me after my called with Moe got disconnected. I told C.J. that was i was going to buy it next day (Sunday). So I threw my old tv stand out and went to the store to pick up the stand, only to find that they lied. C.J. at the store said the he had "made a mistake" and changed the price from $300 to a whooping $800 (keep in mind the online $600). From such an outrageous price, I called in the store manager, his name was Michael, to see if he could sort this out. Instead of giving us a fair discount, he had just subtracted $45 from the $800 price that the C.J. pulled out of no where. So $755 for a scratched up floor model, when the ORIGINAL, NEW, online model was only $600. Of course I was all sorts of pissed of telling him to please lower the price reasonably. Instead of doing that, he treated us like garbage, saying things like “this is my store. I can do whatever I want with the price." and “I'm going to call the police, leave my store” just because I was asking to give to price match online price of $600 at least. I told him that my tv was on the floor that I threw my old one out and that I leased a van to get the stand. What kind of disgraceful man like this would be in an Ashley store treating a kind, sensible customer like this he even wave his hands at me he did not respected my kids and my family at all I fought with him until I knew there was no hope in his unruly actions. So we went to another Ashley store. GUESS WHAT! We found the same TV stand for a reasonable and fair price. We called them and the guy said it was $600 (because of the online price... duh) and he decided to give us a $100 discount because it was a floor model. Now that's what a person with a brain would do. We got the TV stand and I couldn't be happier. BUT With the experience I had with the North Brunswick Ashley store, I swear I'm never stepping a foot in there again and I suggest you do the same.

From start to finish everything went perfectly! Janice helped me choose a kitchen set and answered all my questions and concerns. Then customer service sent me an email to see if everything went well. I scheduled a date and the installers were curteous and professional! I love my set and will gladly do business again with Ashley Furniture! Thank you so much!!
I bought my furniture for my apartment from The North Brunswick NJ location. I will never ever buy any furniture from this store and will definitely recommend my friends to stay away! I was told I will receive my furniture in 4-8 weeks after I bought it. That in itself is ridiculous. Then when the 8th week rolled around I called to confirm delivery An was told my furniture won’t be in for another 2 weeks. Nobody called to notify me about this. My furniture for this reason was delivered weekly over the next 3-4 weeks as it came in which I had to call about an follow up about. Definitely the worst customer service I have experienced. Do yourself a favor and don’t shop here! If there was a rating for minus 5 I would’ve clicked that.
The delivery for the bed was on time..however i ordered a rooftoplamp with it and it wasn’t delivery with the bed bundle...waited another 4 weeks to see if they could delivery it,the person who attended me stated i would of have to wait 1 or 2 more weeks to try to see if they have it ready if not i would have to wait another month ..at that point i saw no interest on them getting the lamp..so i decided to cancel the order..Also the persons who are in charged of picking up the phone are terrible..called two days in a row and nobody answer me..
Worst customer service - they absolutely have zero customer service or professionalism ; i had to call them 10 items to get status on an order which was delivered incompletely. They exceeded the 6 weeks max ETA they gave and they had no explanation and was very rude. I would never shop here again and will do everything in my reach to spread this message and put them out of business - terrible management
DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE. Ive bought furniture from Ashely for my entire house. We went in and bought 2 complete sets of sofa, 2 additional sofas and a dinning table. When we paid, they notified us the delivery would take 2-6 weeks. Additionally, the sales person told us that we can return anything the day it gets delivered if we don't like it, as we weren't able to look at the dinning table we bought as it was not in stock. I bought over $4k plus on April 15th. I called on April 29th and they told me everything was there except the chairs to the dinning table and that they would arrive on April 30th and we should expect a call to schedule delivery. We didn't get a call so I called back on May 1st. They told me the chairs got delayed another week. I do not understand how they can get delayed the day before they were supposed to arrive. That means they were never in route and I was lied to. I called back 1.5 weeks later and then they told me they were waiting for 3 pieces now: a sofa, dinning table and chairs and they are all arriving on May 14th. I told them I wanted to cancel my order. The representative put me on hold and told me they "found" the sofa and the table and my chairs will arrive on May 12th. Its amazing to me how she lied to me on the call and just happened to find my furniture after I said I wanted to cancel. Nevertheless, it is May 17th now, and we still haven't received a call. The management doesn't care if you get your furniture as long as they charged you for it. It is actually ridiculous. Do not go here or any of the other six stores they own. It is not worth the headache.

Extremely Disappointed to say the least! All the excitement of Furniture shopping vanished! What's the point if you don't get your furniture even after 2 months! Pathetic! Why do you even sell if the items are not available in the warehouse??? UPDATE: We ordered on Feb 18th, half of the stuff arrived, bed base hasn't so can't use, one item was broken, not replace yet, rest of the stuff "May" arrive end of April or May UPDATE: On May 7th we are told that we may get the Mattress base on May 24th!!! Surely, delays happen sometimes, but it's the way you handle and take care of customers that's more important. In my case, it's sheer callousness and total disregard!!! Don't care attitude!

Fake commitment, bad quality products and horrible after sales service. We ordered a complete bedroom set from the South Brunswick store in February but its May and we still haven't got all our products delivered. Its been 3 times the mirror of the chest came broken, side table delivered was broken... which shows how the quality of products is. On top of that, we STORE WILL NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY OF ANYTHING after sale is closed. You have to call multiple numbers to file your complaint customer care, delivery company, etc etc. and there is no guarantee that you will be helped. Buy from Ashley if you have nothing better to do in your life!

There are too many other competitors out there to settle for being treated badly. when order they say furniture available. We got a call after two days saying that furniture is not available i finally called back and cancelled the order. i will never shop at this location.

Worst customer service ever !!!!! My love seat's leather came out in an year and I've been trying to get it resolved from last 5 months. After 5 months the technician comes by and replaces leather but does not put the cushion under the love seat. Now I sink in to the sofa when I sit. When I call them back, they say it was one time courtesy and my ticket is closed. I'm never ever going to buy anything from these guys again and I strongly recommend anyone not to. Went shopping for new furniture spent 7 minuets in the store and when asked for the final price on 2 sofas and a love seat Trevor. Prescott who claimed to be the manager told me if I don’t make a decision right then and there to purchase the furniture he wouldn’t be able to give the final prices and asked me to leave.

Bought a sectional sofa and also purchased a warranty on it because the sofas reclined electronically. It broke in November. And to date is not fixed. Even though repair people came to the house twice. With wrong parts. I gave them one last shot today and was told by the store they cannot help me. Very poor service. I am so upset
So far HORRIBLE!!! I bought a bed and mattress on March 10. I requested for an expedited delivery if possible. The manager and sales person ensured me that they will try their best and call me within 2-3 business days to let me know of the order status. It has been 18 days now, I have not heard a peep from them. I have called numerous times and every time someone says that they will check the information and call me back - to no avail. I called as recently as yesterday and spoke to one Karin/Karen and she said that their systems were down and she would call me back in 2 hours to let me know the status - again a LIE! Nobody called. I am at my wit's end. I need a bed ASAP. But I also want to cancel this order and buy a bed from a different vendor even if it means waiting 2 more weeks for my bed! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. UPDATE: 04/10/2018 I canceled my order at Ashley. Because they kept delaying the delivery. I placed an order ONLINE (did not want to waste my time in the store for hours like I did with Ashley) with Value City Furniture - Greenbrook, Somerset yesterday. Today, I got a call from their delivery department. The delivery has been scheduled for Sunday! My faith in furniture shops has been restored. Ashley is just one bad apple - that's all!
Mid-market furniture store. I ended up purchasing several pieces but did it using their online site as the pieces I wanted we're not on the floor. Delivery was quick and courteous. Price reasonable.

UPDATE: Rescheduled the delivery for another day. Got a text message the day before asking to confirm the delivery date and providing me with a time window of 11 AM to 3 PM. Delivery date and time was confirmed. Received a call at 2:30 PM on the day of the delivery from the customer care center with an update that the furniture was not prepped to go out for delivery at the warehouse and will not be delivered today. Delivery was rescheduled again. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Decent customer service in the store but absolutely awful customer service after you’ve made your purchase. They don’t pick up the phone when you call, they don’t call ahead of time when delivery is cancelled, they don’t call after delivery is cancelled to reschedule, they don’t call back with an update after promising to do just that. They don’t even greet calls with “Ashley’s Furniture” just a simple “hello?” which is basic customer service etiquette. Finally, they don’t have an answering machine for you to leave a message, the line just hangs up if no one answers.
Horrible customer service! We bought a bunk bed which was installed incorrectly with the screws being stripped. And the top two post starting to split. We called customer service after days of their computers being down they finally sent replacement parts. But of course the parts were wrong. For the last two months we have been given the run around. We keep calling and no one has resolved our issue. I will never purchase from this store and I told everyone I know to steer clear!
First and foremost do not believe the 2 week delivery time. It is a lie which is not unlike the favorable reviews posted here. The reviews praising this location are solicited paid for reviews by Ashley themselves. Now, to talk about the location... The salesmen are very nice and quite knowledgeable. I didn't even find them pushy. They are great at taking their time and guiding you towards the perfect fit for you. The issues begin when you want something delivered. The showroom does't talk to the warehouse at all. This creates some serious issues ranging from the warehouse not having your product to giving your delivery to someone else because they had a bigger order. If you value your sanity and don't want to deal with ever changing delivery dates, avoid this location like the plague.
If I could give this store negative stars I would. We ordered a couch in mid February to insure that when we moved in early March we would have it. The couch was originally scheduled for March 9th, but no one ever called to schedule the delivery. When we called, no one could explain where the couch was. They then told us March 21st. We scheduled the delivery and the day came and went and guess what! No couch and no phone call rescheduling it. When we finally got someone on the phone, once again they couldn’t explain where the couch was and why it wasn’t delivered and gave us yet another date of April 1st! We cancelled the order today and will go elsewhere. She have a 10 month old and no couch in a new house for almost 3 weeks! Absolutely terrible customer service!
I have never been so bothered with a furniture store...I have been waiting for a dresser chest which was promised to be here on 2/20/18 still nothing.. I called several times since then only today to finally be told that the piece came in damaged but no one called to tell me this... so now it's on back order.. They were super friendly taking my $400 for this dresser. They didn't forget to ask for payment... And I thought maybe it was just that store so I went to the Ashley in Linden and I am even more bothered. They sold me a completely broken $900 chair now telling me I have to wait 30+ days for a refund. Because they only cut checks once a month... If I can give anyone any advise I would stay clear of these stores.. And I really was a fan of the furniture but no more.....
The prices at store are 3 times higher than online.
This is not about their product quality- which we will come to know when we get the item. This is about the shopping experience, specially related to the delivery. The assured delivery was between 2-6 weeks. They scheduled a delivery after the 6 weeks window, still charging a delivery fee. I call the delivery number and the South Brunswick store to reschedule- it takes numerous unanswered phone calls and transfers between departments. When online retailers like Wayfair offer comparable products with great customer convenience, the brick and mortar stores like Ashley should stick to their archaic systems of customer care- a guaranteed way to go out of business soon!

I would never purchase anything from them again. They promise you everything but the service is terrible. The employees are very courteous however and are doing the best they can under the circumstances.
We financed a couch and two television stands with Chet at their North Brunswick Branch. A month later, when the delivery came, they had the TV Stands, but not the couch! They had the ottoman, but not the couch! The delivery people stated that there was no couch on the order. After calling customer service (and staying on hold for a gratuitous amount of time), being informed that my couch selection was discontinued (they did not volunteer the information), Chet recommended I come back in and he would take care of me. Chet had us pick out another couch and checked stock on the couch (and matching ottoman) to make sure we could get it delivered within two weeks. It was supposed to be delivered tomorrow according to Chet, but we didn't receive any call or text. I called to ask about the status of the order and I was told that there was no order and no couch. I called and was connected to Randy (another manager in North Brunswick) after being on hold for over 20 minutes. I told him that I either wanted the couch I was promised delivered very soon or a refund. He started making excuses like "we just had a reorg". So a month and a half later, I have two very pricey TV stands and no couch. I would not recommend them. We will be going elsewhere for our couch. "Reorg" wasn't an excuse the first time and is still not an excuse the second. Two separate mess-ups on a single order two separate times is unprofessional and inexcusable.

VERY VERY BAD EXPERIENCE!! I bought a 2500$ worth sofa and love seat and within an year the leather came off.. see image .. I’ve been trying to get the leather replaced since 4 months now and it just takes forever .. first they sent my replacement leather to wrong address .. then when they resent the leather they sent wrong pieces and since then I’ve been trying to talk to them but every time I call them they say 1. We did not get report from technician we will call you back 2. Our systems are down/ upgrading we will call you back .. I’m writing this review out of frustration
Love the furniture. Would love it even more if I was able to get it delivered to my house. Purchased a dining set, 3 weeks delivery turned into 4 weeks which then turned into having to wait 2 more weeks for a chair and bench. So it's taking me over a month and a half to get my full order.
ive made 3 orders from Ashley's and every order has gone wrong. I've litterally been sitting in an empty apartment for a month and expected to wait longer. If you told me I was going to have to wait this long for my furniture I wouldn't have bought it. You can't advertise 2 week delivery and do this to me. i guess after the first time I shouldn't have gone back. Only gave it two stars because the people that work there were cool. I don't think any of it is there fault.

He sold us a bed set and promised early deleievey which never happened then the company management told me I would get my bed set 3 weeks later which is ridiculous, I asked for John to call me back and he never did. Today after waiting for 3 weeks I called the store and they told me delievery has been cancelled. No one ever told me!!!! I’m beyond disgusted by them. They are so rude and retarded. The nice gentleman named Mohamad Z. was superb and very respectful . He helped my husband and I choose a living room set. He was very attentive and gave us a lot of advice. We had a great experience buying furniture at Ashley. Salesperson Pinkey who helped us was just amazing. She has lot of patience and very helpful in Suggesting the right furniture to our taste. The best part was she was the same throughout the process of before and after the purchase until the furniture was delivered. We did have some hiccups during delivery as we bought a lot, but at last all ended up happy with all the support and help from Pinkey and Ashley Management
We were lucky to have been greeted by Pinkey, the sales person. Because, although we had walked in just to explore some furniture she spent a lot of time with us. Eventually, we wound up buying a lot more than we had planned. Part of the reason was the price that she was able to offer but mostly her friendly personality and knowledge of the furniture as well as her interior decorating skills.
We were looking for a new sofa/loveseat for a very long time and were not able to nail down the perfect piece. We just pulled into this Ashley off Rt. 1 one evening after work and were pleasantly surprised with the collection. They had a lot of options and we ended up getting an amazing powered reclining loveseat. Our sales rep Pinkey B. was really helpful and very patient. We showed her the photos of our den area and she suggested the most comfiest loveseat that we fell in love with instantly.Totally worth it!!
Our visit to Ashley was wonderful. Usually, being greeted at the door turns into a game where you're fending off a sales person; however, Mike T. made our experience pleasant the entire time. Mike was very knowledgeable. His help was a great balance information and guidance. We never felt like he was too "sales-y" (which is typically my experience, right from the very first second you walk in). He offered honest opinions, excellent insight, and, all the while, put a human touch on it. The rest of the staff was also very friendly. My only criticism with Ashley (as a whole) is that the furniture always seems priced higher than it should be.
Although the Ashley Furniture store is far from where I live it's the service I received there that brought me back. Everyone was very friendly and knowledgeable about the store and products.
My girlfriend and I needed a new bed when we moved in together. Michael took the time to explain everything to us and was incredibly knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend asking for Mike P when you go in, he won't try and sell you something you don't want just because it's more expensive. My husband and I just purchased our first new sofa set (the Axiom sofa and chair and half) from Ashley in North Brunswick yesterday. Mike T. was our salesperson, and he was great. He's actually the one who kept our business at this store. Our first experience here a few weeks ago, the salesman Dalfin was horrible, and by horrible I mean he was the absolute worst salesman I've ever encountered in my entire life, and when we went to Ashley yesterday, our intentions were literally just to see the couch one more time to make sure it's the one we wanted and then order it from somewhere else or from Ashley online. We later found out that that particular salesman was no longer at the store and had just been part of a traveling group that helps out at different locations, so Mike T. proceeded to help us. He worked with us on price and price matching, measurements, figuring out our setup, etc. He was informative and not at all pushy or arrogant or sarcastic (like Dalfin from our previous experience). My husband and I actually left yesterday without buying the sofa set to think about it and potentially still buy the couch and chair elsewhere, but we ended up returning within the hour to buy it from Mike T. I guess you could say it's Mike that win our business back. We would definitely purchase from this store and from Mike T. again! Highly recommend.
Great store. Great furniture. Great service from Gary T. I drove an hour from Philadelphia to check on the great quality furniture and found out the trully excellent and funny Gary who helped me pick my new furniture. It is disappointing that they do not deliver to Philadelphia every day.

Don't buy or order from this warehouse! I purchased a Darcy sofa and when I got to my new home the couch was dirty and damaged having tear/ puncture marks on the cushion. To make it better, Ashley's unprofessional staff tried tried to tell me I should have purchased a 5 year extended warranty however this was not a mistake made on my behalf so why do I need an extended warranty outside of the one year warranty I have.?! They are not willing to ship another couch or pay for the shipping costs for me to ship it myself. They sent covers and a new cushion but the team they have reupholster the couch cannot come to me for another 2 1/2 weeks and the cherry on top is that they do not schedule appointment times. they are soooo busy, you have to be lucky when they call you a day ahead and let you know what time they can make it. Ashley won't reimburse me nor speed up this process. Going on a month and still cannot have any housewarming event or welcoming due to the main living area being destroyed by this piece. Waste of money

Just had the best experience at Ashley HomeStore in North Brunswick while purchasing our new couch. We were greeted immediately by Mike T. who was extremely friendly and helpful but nowhere near overbearing like stores I've visited in the past. I had been to six stores before I walked into north Brunswick Ashley home store. I was suprised by how huge it was and felt reassured at the prospect at possibly finding something I needed...and I need a lot. Bed set, living room, and dining set. I felt completely overwhelmed. We were approached by Mike T as we were in every furniture place we'd been to. No lie, something about his personality felt extremely genuine, not salesy, and I told my dad, who did me the favor of accompanying me, that I knew I would "find something here today". That was a stretch because on walking in I felt so hopeless. Mike explained how the layout of the store was and didn't overwhelm us. When we sought him, he was there to answer our questions. I didn't find everything that day but I found one thing and I'm grateful to Mark for his easygoing real nature. I look forward to working with him again in the future. This is probably the first place I'd go should he still be there in the future because of the comfort he provided during a super stressful time. Thanks Mike!

The customer service we experience wad terrible. If I could give 0 stars I would. I don't know if it was because we are black or because we said were moving to VA. The sales associate Khory was not helpful at all. Every time we had a question he was very short with us and sighed heavily if he had to get up from his seat to help us. We were actually very interested in this bed set but because of his lack of interest in helping we left. As soon as another couple came in he ran to help them without fully answering our questions. I was in the middle of asking a question and he walked away. It's unfortunate. We saw other sales associates really helping their customers and being very attentive. So we'll just spend our money somewhere else.

Worst store for buying furniture, they are slow, they mess up taking the right order even if you repeat again and again and pay for it, they will mess up delivery and will give you parts of the order come back later, and all through the while the delivered stuff will be unusable. I have been stuck for 20 days now having ordered a simple thing like a bed and a sectional sofa. Exchanges are extremely difficult ... They are cheap in every sense, especially the service, which is of the worst kind. I recommend going to any other store but NEVER Ashley, if you want a peace of mind. I wish there were negative scoring I could give... I hate to even put a 1 star. If you still choose this store for your purchase, all I can wish you is "best of luck".
We waited a while before a sales associate was able to help us, after asking for assistance. Their furniture selection was not as interesting as some of their competitors along Route 1. For those looking for marked down furniture, they have a clearance section.

I never write reviews but this stores customer service is HORRIBLE!! I canceled my order. There are too many other competitors out there to settle for being treated badly. Sales person was too pushy and bottom line rude. Spoke to manager and he wasnt any better... as they say that apple doesnt fall far from tree. I will gladly take my business to Raymour or Bobs.
This review is for the Ashley Furniture's costumer service. We bought a sectional in store and requested that it be delivered on Monday 5/15 as we were moving in on 5/14. The representative confirmed this. On 5/11, we received an email saying the sofa will be delivered on Sunday, 5/14 at 7 am. My husband and I repeatedly called costumer service stating this is not the date we requested and we would need it to be either delivered later in the day, the next day. The costumer service did not accommodate any of our requests and the only option we were given was to reschedule to 5/18, meaning we would be without a sofa for 4 days. I don't recommend buying from Ashley's unless you have a flexible schedule for delivery.
Never had a problem. Quoted me and Delivered what I wanted with plenty of advanced warning . Drivers were very helpful . Made several purchases here over the last few years .
Staff gave us enough space to get comfortable and try everything. The cupcakes and singing for the birthday event were nice. We'll be back soon

I ordered a sofa here 3 weeks in advance of my moving date. The night before the scheduled delivery, they called me and told me the sofa was undeliverable due to damage. Furthermore, the sofa was discontinued, so I had to go pick out a new one. I dropped what I was doing at 8:15pm to go to this store 35 minutes away to sort it out. Long story short, they got me the same couch delivered the very next day. I walked in unhappy and left relieved. I shouldn't have had to go into the store, but the customer service was very good.
We were almost finalized on the entire sofa set and we had to ask the store manager couple of questions about the rates which was not properly explained when we compared with online price. He was totally rude and very unprofessional. Very unhappy that we had to deal with such person. Would never go there again or recommend to friends.
My sales associate Bruni was very friendly and helpful! My daughter and I went there to purchase a bedroom set for her bedroom. I ended up choosing a very nice ensemble and my daughter really loved it also. She and Bruni even found a way to bond during our shopping experience. I must say that everyone were professional and courteous from the 1st phone call to the store and during my in-store visit. Just waiting on my delivery. My only complaint is the length of time it takes to receive your purchase...2 weeks is a long time. However, this doesn't take away from the overall experience. I went to the North Brunswick Ashley several times in one week....spend a total of at least 5 hrs there. When I chose a sofa set I asked the salesman if I could choose a rug and tv table for not more than 2,000 and he said absolutely. Well after paying for the set totalling 1,956 NO TABLE....NO RUG. He was patient and knowledgable but not honest!

This place is horrendous for both furniture quality and customer service. We bought an expensive large cherry wood dining set from here with the platinum warranty plan, but when the wood started chipping off after only a couple months, they wouldn't cover it under the warranty unless basically the table had snapped in half. Joe and Pinky were also both truly awful with customer service. Pinky was super pushy and kept making up extra fees (ex: she tried to convince us we had to pay NYC taxes when we were purchasing at this store in NJ). Her manager Joe came to offer us a package deal, only to not honor it and be completely unhelpful, even though we were purchasing furniture for an entire apartment. Left without buying any of it after spending hours picking them out because he and Pinky were so awful. Ashley's isn't worth the disgusting customer service for cheap quality furniture.
Worst experience- The manager Seth had no manners and have no clue how to treat his customers. I liked the sofa i purchased but will return it just because of that rude, manner less guy. I would rather pay more in some other stores who knows how customers should be treated and do their job well. If the store hires such a person for sales job, i would rather go to next door.
Overly aggressive manager who was extremely disinterested in helping us so we continued to walk around the store, found a very helpful salesman and when he was showing us stuff the manager told him we were working with him. We would have probably purchased something, but not from him.
I came in too look for a sleeper sofa last week. Bruni approached me and with a few simple questions, she was able to guide me to what I was looking for. I ended up buying a really nice queen size pullout for an amazing deal! It came with a memory foam mattress which I must say is very comfortable. Wow went to the back and saw Jessica who was able to quickly schedule a pick up day and process my purchase. It was an easy hassle free purchase! I will certainly come back when the need arises for future purchases. Thank you Bruni and Jessica!

Extremely unprofessional. Super pushy and didn't even listen to us. We said from the start we didn't want leather due to our cats, and the lady took half the time showing us the leathers. One of the last comments from another sales rep who yelled from across the store was "Don't show them that set! I'm going to have it sold by 10am tomorrow morning!"...They had attitude, and bashed other furniture stores. I will never go back. 1 star is 1 too many.
So I had just signed a lease and was told we could move in early. It was allot to deal with being as I have no furniture or time and it was just a mess. I had went to Bobs and then decided to check Ashley Furniture in North Brunswick. As soon as I went through the door I was greeted by Brunilda Soto. I told her about my situation and didn't know where to start and like clock work she jumped in and simplified my life lol. I'm the type of person that's never sure but she eased my mind by taking her time and showing me everything and I mean everything. She was patient, informative, and didn't pressure me into anything. She made me feel like I was talking to a long time friend, very comfortable. I ended up purchasing a bedroom and I am very satisfied with the purchase and she made sure everything worked for me as good as it can. From the price to delivery date. When it was time to pay she walked me over to Jessica Houston, to check out. She was so happy and alive smiling and just a cool person to deal with. Listen I never write reviews unless it's a horrible experience. Like when u go to a place of business and the employees are mad at you because they have to work and give u a crazy attitude like u made them work there smh I hate that.. I recommend this place to everyone .. because even when I was going to walk out and not buy anything. Burnilda smiled and gave me a card and told me when I'm ready she would be there. And I love people that don't pressure me into buying just for their own gain...THANK YOU GUYS!!!! Oh she also gave great tips for my condo being as we have limited space. Brunilda Soto was the sales associate who came up to me and my partner as soon as we walked through the door on friday, October 14 2016. She is amazing. She showed us everything. Literally everything. To give us different ideas and price options. When we came we did not even think we would buy from this store at all. Her persistence opened our eyes and we left leaving with a new bed and mattress for our apartment. Brunilda took her time, she got to know us creating a small relationship. I would 100℅ go back to her. We actually plan on going back asap. While we were checking out we were assisted by Jessica Houston. She was very funny, relatable. Gave us detailed instructions about the moving process. Did not take long at all. Over all Everytime we go to Ashley's it's the best experience. Love it. Keep up the great job
What a mess! My family moved to NJ mid September and we needed to furnish our new home. We first checked out Raymore and decided to give Ashley a shot, what a mistake. After spending hours in the show room, we set up delivery and the soonest date we could get was today, October 12th. The first issue was our brand new dining room table came without a base. We have all of our chairs, and the top of the table, but no base, so it's useless. When I called to reschedule delivery they told me they couldn't get it here for another week. As if that wasn't annoying enough, the driver had more bad news for me, my brand new sofa was completely damaged. There were holes all along the stitching and part of the wood broke and ripped through the back of the couch. I tried calling the North Brunswick corporate office many times, only to hear that the manager, Bebe, had left. When Bebe did finally call me back she told me that our couch was the last one and she doesn't see another one coming in for 3 more weeks. I told her that was completely unacceptable and her reply was that she couldn't help me if she was on the phone with me. The problem is, Ashley is a chain and privately owned, so when I asked to speak with Bebe's boss I was told they cannot provide me with that info. If you call the main 800 number they ask for the city and state you purchased from and send you right back. They have my money, we paid cash, in full and quite a lot since we needed 3 rooms furnished, and now they've got me over a barrel and they know it. They didn't offer me a discount on another set, they didn't offer to take a percentage off for all of the trouble, they didn't do a thing but tell me they can either try to refurbish the couch or call me back with a time in November for my couch. Go to Raymore, you'll have delivery in two days and the furniture is pretty much the same. UPDATE: The base for the dining room table arrived later on in the day, and I was given a new delivery date for the couch which is another 3 weeks out, so that will be 5 weeks in total waiting for my new couch. I received a phone call from Bebe last night and she told me that Ashley will give us a $250 refund, which is a very small percentage of what we spent, and then asked if I would delete this review in return. I told her I would not delete, but instead edit with her resolution. Customers should be aware of what happened, of how the furniture arrived, of how customer service handled the situation, and how they try to resolve these issues.

Sales team were unable to help with the insurance issue that they had sold earlier. Simply they say the contract was brought from another Ashley and so they can honour. At the same time I saw the sales team telling lies to other customers in front of shamelessly that are biggest chain and we can report and get support from anywhere...cheaters...never trust them..never buy from them
Horrible customer service, the manager Ed Jasko does not know how to work nor communicate with customers. He should not be the manager he should be in the back stocking furniture where no one can see him or consider retirement They make mistakes on there part and don't take ownership
As with all furniture stores, they have a lot of sales. Unlike most furniture stores, the sales people do not seem to try to pressure you into buying things. They are helpful when you need help, and they hang back when you clearly want to browse. We bought a bedroom set from them, piecemeal, and every time we went we had a good experience.
Dinning table set we recently purchased was beautiful and would love to visit again. They have lot of collections and are flexible on the delivery schedules too.
TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! Do not order from here! They will deliver the wrong parts and then blame you! We ordered a full bed set, and it was not assembled properly and they forgot parts. So now we have to wait an additional week because of them! What an inconvenience!!! Very disappointed in this company.

1.0 star rating 6/28/2016 The customer service shown by Ashley Furniture in North Brunswick, NJ with customer service is the worst I've seen in my life. They also own different locations in the area. I had my dining room set delivered on May 26, 2016. I was't home for the delivery but as soon as I got home and looked over the furniture I noticed scratches and wood broken on the table along with 4 wobbly chairs. I called customer service right away and they advised me to send an email with pictures as I did that day as well. The next day I had received a phone call explaining a new leg was ordered and a service technician would look over the chairs when they came to my house. From May 27 to June 22 I had over 10 phone calls to Ashley Furniture in North Brunswick to see the status of everything and also find out why I paid for warranties on different furniture which that service doesn't cover. Over 7 phone calls alone to your manager Pheebe. When Pheebe finally called me back June 22, after I called 3 times that day she told me she didn't need to call me back and that was the first time she had got my message. She wouldn't give me any names to any board members or even her manager's name. I told her I needed to speak to someone highly up and she suggested if I wanted to get in touch the only way would be through this email address. I actually find it quite funny that your manager couldn't give me her direct work email or direct way to contact her but Joe in guest relations had no problem giving me his extension. Bottom Line Is Pheebe finally put in a new order for a table and 4 legs to be delivered June 30, 2016. I have contacted Verizon for all my phone call records to be printed since I find it very strange 5 different customer service reps left messages on her desk and she got none. I believe your lines are recorded as well so that should be looked into. I honestly don't know how this franchise is still in business by the way your customer service is. I WILL NEVER SHOP AT ANY OF THESE FRANCHISE LOCATIONS EVER AGAIN. Obviously this franchise doesn't care about keeping customers. I contacted Ashley Corporation and let them know everything that happened and I have no problem putting it out on social media for people to see. I paid for a dining room set and maybe this thursday, June 30 I will get the chance to use it. 5 weeks for something to come in right with no scratches or wood missing is Totally Unacceptable. STAY AWAY

I met Mohammed at the Woodbridge location since I live near by. He had an exceptional customer service but told us that today was his last day at the Woodbridge location and is moving back to North Brunswick. I went back to the Woodbridge location to buy what I originally wanted but did not like the customer service I got so I drove all the way to North Brunswick where Mohammed was working and ordered what I wanted with a great deal he hooked me up with since I came so far. He is an amazing worker and got my business for Ashley Furniture Store just because on his amazing customer service skills.
As soon as we walked in the door Mr. Lewis gave us a very nice welcome. Also Barb Y was friendly and took care of making me happy with my choice. Priceless for my husband and I.

My wife and I purchased furniture for our new apartment recently. We had a wonderful experience. All the staff members were so friendly and helpful. I bought a mattress ( sealy culworth) from this store that was delivered on Jan 2nd. The very night I slept in it, I woke up in the middle of the night with a backache and felt it sagging. I called the store and they scheduled a technician to come and inspect the mattress on March 4. The tech measured the sag to be .75 inch. The sagging area can be seen from a distance as a dip. The Ashley store says they can not do anything about it because the dip is not more than 1.5 inch. It is extremely frustrating because I spent more than 800$ on this mattress and I am stuck with a sagging mattress that Ashley won't take back even with a restocking fee. Apparently the claim of 10 year warranty is useless because .75 inch sag with in a week of use is not a problem in their opinion.

Stay away from here, horrible service and fake warranty! We bought an Ashley mattress with a 10 year warranty. Mattress was sold to us as a FIRM mattress, as well as the description on the website that reads FIRM. One month in and the mattress was SOFT with no support. Followed Ashley s warranty procedure- third party company comes writes a report. The report reads that the mattress is SOFT and Ashley refuses to exchange the horrible product claiming no defect. Well if a defect isn't there when you buy something firm and it becomes soft perhaps they have no understanding of what a defect means! Add this to the fact that they will not release the third party company's report. Yes they won't give me the report that supposedly says there is no defect. Why won't they give the customer the report on the customer's paid for mattress? Are they hiding something? Are they hiding behind lies?! Bottom line stay away!!!They will not even back the quality of their own products! The so called warranty is a hoax. They are simply a disgrace to themselves and care nothing about customer care and service.
I purchased a set of mattresses for over $3K. Salesman wrote the wrong item number so one item was wrong. They took it back but refused to give me return paper. The returned item did not show up in their warehouse in a week and they also refused to do anything by phone so I drove to their store about 40 miles twice already. They were falling over themselves to sell but they are not available to fix their mistake. I suspect that the returned item will never show up so I probably lost about $1K. I will complain anywhere I can think of like BBB., NJ Dept of Commerce, etc. and, of course, the credit card company but I do not expect to be reimbursed. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE!!!
Couldn't find options on accent tables. Salesperson couldn't even get what I was looking for. One more thing - You should let customers spend some time to walk around for what they are looking for and stop "escorting" them everywhere they go. I was told their policy is not to let the customer without a salesperson walking next to him/her. This policy just made me just walk out.

Worse customer experience ever! Ordered complete bedset, after delivery missed item from the set. Showroom is not helpful at all. After 2 weeks missing item still not delivered. Customers service put me on hold for well over 20 mins. Issue still unsolved.
I have to admit the showroom was nice. And the sales people were friendly BUT thats all it has. Delivery that was suppose to happen did not happen. After additional fee charge for redelivery and technician to re-assemble, the re-assembly did not happen on the day promised. Waited 16 hours. They LIED. Was told technician was on his way. Never showed up and never called. Very unprofessional. Never apologized, nothing. Then our $500 accent chair of less than one week cracked!!! Defective, called customer service multiple times and email requested documentations and was told never received. Finally went to the store. Desk person asked me to send via my phone to her email...she received the documents immediately with no issues. Do not come here!!!! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!
Literally the worst furniture company that's ever existed. Purchased a couch from this store, within 6 months, the whole thing sank in. We had the warranty purchased. We called and it took over 2 months to get someone out there. He told us the couch is basically shot because there's not enough stuffing in the back of the cushions, so the seat cushions sunk way too fast. Only way to fix it was to replace springs and add stuffing to the back cushions (which he told me was about a 7 hour job and he doesn't have the time to do). He replaced the seat cushions, which took all of 5 minutes and said they would have to get someone else out there to do the other work. I've had to call to get new parts delivered, and then supposedly a person is coming to fix it. Here I am, a month later, and still no repair person sent out (after 3 attempts to call to let them know its still an issue and no one from their SAW repair company has called to schedule). This store sucks, the company sucks, do not buy furniture from here.
We got 2 high chairs from Ashley for $250each n within 2 years the seat of both the chairs started ripping n Ashley said they won't fix it Will never go to this place.They Rip u .
Total waste of time ,They don't know what they r selling they will take the order after 2 month after 2 delivery dates they say they have discontinued that told me they r a franchise and that company has discontinued making that sofa sleeper in other colours at least you should know what r u selling is still made or not. I had wonderful personal feelings and experience in visiting Ashley Furniture Home Store. Variety Range Quality elegant décor furniture of all kind of budget suits different class of people . designs displayed on the floor were really superb unmatchable. personal touch by sales associate were praise worthy too. customer service and delivery staff was up to the mark and satisfactory.
Salesperson was extremely helpful. Took her time to walk the entire store with us even knowing we were undecided with exactly what we wanted. Ultimately guided us to exactly what we were looking for and even helped us purchase some tables that didn't belong to our set. Will definitely return.
The selection is great. The quality is top-notch. We are always satisfied with what we purchase. Only area for improvement are the Sales Reps as they can be unprofessional and persistent.
We have been shopping at this Ashley store since it opened. It has always been a joy. Right from the fact that the staff don't hassle you to buy something, to the on-time delivery, all our purchases have been smooth sailing. In addition to their furniture, I have enjoyed shopping for the lamps, vases, flower arrangements & other accessories that they sell too. Dont forget to stop by the fountain at the front of the store for a look at their Koi fish. And the clearance center, to look at all the delightful little items you might find, at deeply discounted prices. This is my fav furniture store in the area.

The service was great. I worked representative named Max and he was very helpful. I bought sleeper couch and dining room table. I ended cancelling my order for the couch, and they assisted me with that, no hassle!
The store manager was great, he gave me and my fiance a great deal on a chair we were buying along with us finally getting around to getting a second night stand. At the end of it I got a better deal than the sale which was running.
First they are priced very high, make sure to do internet search for item. I found things 40% cheaper. I did purchase because it was close and convenient. My rug was delayed twice with no reason why. Then I picked it up and got home to see i was defective. There is no customer service , or i should say they dont respond they dont help or care to do anything.. Finally went in they reordered for me. Supposed ot be delivered in a week. I confirmed delivery only to get a call that it didnt come in and it could be weeks before it does.... I would not do business with them as customer service is awful.
We bought a couch for our daughter that didn't fit in her stairwell. Patricia Boyko and General Manager Mike of the North Brunswick store were so helpful in finding us a couch that would fit. For their excellent customer service alone, we would shop at Ashley again.
This is a nice store, the only issue we faced was that the day we went there they seemed to be understaffed and we had to wait for an associated to be free to answer even very small questions, which felt like a waste of time but then this was only the last time we were at this store. We have been here before and always found what we were looking for so we always return to Ashley and we got good deals every time we came.

The sales person was pretty good at try to sell you things. The 5000 bedroom set I bought from the Ashley store in North Brunswick, not even a year after, there are lot of peeling off from what appears to be the outer layer breaking out. Quality of Ashley furniture is very bad. Highly not recommended. For that price I paid, the furniture should last more than just 1 year. Beware of the quality of the furniture you're buying there, it all look very flashy and new in the beginning, in about a year it will fall apart. I called Ashley and all they want to do is to glue it back together. I paid more than $4000+ for this set and it's not lasting even 2 years.
In store my experience was wonderful the sales people were very attentive and accommodating to my wants and needs. I did not feel rush or overwhelmed while there and they let me take my time on deciding what furniture best suited me. I was overall very happy with the in store experience.

i went to get a large bookcase with doors I waited a week for it picked it up and when I was putting it together it had no doors so I called and there would be an exchange for the right one. I waited another week for it and when it came in it was the right one but the leg was broken now I have to wait another week for the right one again. I already waited 2 weeks for going on 3.
I recently purchased a reclining chair from Ashley Furniture in North Brunswick,NJ. They had many models to choose from. Their sales people were very knowledgable about their products and were professional. The experience of walking into the store to picking up the merchandise was pleasing. No hassles!

The sales associate & the financial agent were very patient in answering and working with us to get what we wanted. I went for a price quote for a bunkbed and they couldn't give me that because the computer system wouldn't bring up any prices for the bed it was the worst experience I've ever had in attempting to buy furniture and I was willing to spend closer thousand dollars so their business is not for me
The sales man was extremely professional and helpful in our search for a bedroom set and dinning table. The store has an extensive display of furniture. The scheduling and delivery process went through smoothly. I would certainly recommend this store to everyone.
Overall a good experience. Good prices for the furniture. Did run into some pricing issues as salesman made an error that was not caught until very end. They did try and fix but ended up costing me more than what was originally quoted. But again, overall good experience.
The sales man on the floor (Rich Pollschak)was very courteous and patiently answered all our questions and concerns. We were very happy with him and purchased a 8 + 1 dining set along with buffet and china units as well. Our furniture was delivered and there was a issue with the china unit and also the buffet along with 2 side chairs which I had to send back. My only gripe about this purchase is that there was no follow up call from Ashley Furniture irrespective of whether the delivery company (in this case, Cory Companies) informed them of the items not accepted or not. I had to go personally and inform the same and scheduled the delivery of the those pieces.
Our sales guy was knowledgeable and he went out o his way to get the sale made. Expecting the delivery next week of our furniture, can't wait!

Pleasant experience overall. Was able to get what I wanted. Good selection and furniture was delivered in good condition and at the time I needed it. Flexible with the delivery dates and good discounts, though cannot be too sure if prices were hiked up before hand so discounts look good. In any case I would certainly recommend this store and go there again myself.
After about a month of shopping around without good deals, my aunt recommended Ashley Furniture. I visited the New Brunswick and found a plethora of choices matching my taste and style. I went to this location after having gone to another location to look for bedroom furniture. They were able to price match the set and give me the delivery date I wanted. Since the day I purchased the set, I have had to reschedule my delivery, which I was able to do with ease. I would have given it 5 stars, but the paperwork seemed to take forever!
Quality. Customer Service. Delivery. I made two sets of purchases from this location in the past year. First time I was looking for contemporary dining table set, and the floor saleslady picked one right away from me. LOVED IT! I actually bought it the same day and it was delivered within a few days. Second time I purchased a coffee table set to go, and the delivery/packing staff was able to fit into in my small car miraculously. We spend a long time at many furniture stores looking for the perfect match for our TV stand since we have a wall size restriction. We were guided to all the ones that would fit our needs by a helpful associate. We returned again that same night and confirmed our selection. The process was painless and the sales team was knowledgeable. We are now enjoying our TV stand and it looks great!
I went to Ashley Furniture not expecting to find everything I was looking for. However, to my surprise I ended up getting a complete bedroom set as well as living room furniture. I actually came on July 4th and I went in later that evening. The people were extremely courteous and I didn't feel pressured to buy anything. I got a great deal and left feeling very confident about my purchase.
We walked in the door and were approached by sales people but once told we were just looking everyone backed off and gave us time to decide on a style that interested us. We chose a salesperson we thought would understand our style and were not disappointed at any time by his professionalism. The quality of the merchandise on the floor helped us to make our decision fairly easily. Very impressed with your store and our purchase.
My fiance and I recently purchased a couch. I've never met a customer service rep like A.J. ever in my travels. Overall A.J. made our experience fun and enjoyable. He spent a few hours dealing with us as we couldn't make up our mind. Never did he seem irritated or restless. In addition we were first looking at an item that was 4K+. We couldn't afford it at the time so we had to downgrade. Instead of some typical sales people who would get frustrated due to the lower commission AJ treated us like we have been customers of his for years. We will be back to purchase our bedroom set and we will only deal with AJ. So if your in the area and looking to buy furniture head to Ashleys and see AJ since he will make your experience one not to forget.
