Purchased a reclining love sofa at the Ashley store in Paramus NJ Bryan was our sales representative and we had a extremely pleasant experience dealing with Bryan, he was very very helpful, professional, knowledgeable, and made our decision to shop at Ashley a real " NO BRAINER". This will not be our last purchase with Bryan and we recommend working with him highly. He really bend over backwards to get us the right sofa at the right price.
The sales person Jeffery was very helpful, low key, not pushy, gave me plenty of time to decide on the purchase.

Had a great experience at the Paramus Ashley Furniture. My Mom was in the market to replace her family and living room couches. They had a great selection (There is one closer to our house but the showroom was much more limited). Our advisor, Franklin Payano, was very knowledgable about all of the products, including exactly where everything was in the store and the different features and options for each product. There was no pressure to buy and they offered free waters. I appreciated not feeling like we were at a car dealership (which is the vibe we got at some other furniture stores). Franklin was very patient with us and my Mom got exactly what she was looking for with a nice discount. I would definitely go back for furniture in the future.

The problem is the poor quality of Ashley Store products . I bought 2 Angleton Sofa from them and after 1 year their seat cushions collapsed and its very hard to get up from the sofa due to a low quality. The other product I purchased Isanti dining table just 1.5 year ago and I had these major cracks which you can see them in the pictures. I called customer service and the told me that I didn't have protection plan so they cannot do anything about it. I bought a dining table and after 1.5 year later I had these major cracks this is unacceptable. I strongly recommend that please make sure to pay for the protection plan because their products looks good at first sight but the quality is really low.
Locations is nice and convenient, they don’t have military or first responder discounts unfortunately. Customer service is nice too

They do not stand by their 60 month no interest finance offer and will instead find ways to discreetly discount the furniture you’re buying such that the longer 60 month finance period won’t apply to your purchase. This company has no integrity and seeks to take advantage of unsuspecting consumers. I have to pay a significant amount of interest because of their deceptive sales practices. I love Ashley Furniture! I have visited the Paramus location twice and both times received excellent service! Kleny assisted me both times and she was wonderful! Two months ago, we decided to stop by Ashley Furniture store for a couple of new pieces for our bedroom. Thanks to our salesman, Frankie, we had a positive experience. He was knowledgeable and friendly and helped us find the perfect pieces. Today, 5/24, I returned to the store for the Memorial Day Sales event. Frankie helped us get the right Stearns & Foster mattress. I highly recommend asking for Frankie if you visit!

DO NOT VISIT THIS LOCATION!! Scammers: worst customer service I have ever received. They sold us a defective mattress, horrible customer service showing attitude and rude. Instead of being helping they made us call them every day for a month. Took 1.5 months to return defective product, then call them everyday to return money. Now they still haven’t given us the full money. Now we’ve given up. They showed us one product and sold us something different. These people are scammers. We have been trying to reach the store everyday on call, they are useless!
Probably the worst customer service I have ever experienced from a furniture store. I ordered a mattress, a base and a bed frame. When I was trying out mattresses in the store, I asked if I could exchange the mattress if I wasn’t satisfied and was told that I had 30 days to exchange my mattress. When the mattress arrived it wasn’t as comfortables and was too high for me but when I called customer service, they informed me there was NOTHING they could do for me and that Ashley brand mattresses could not be exchanged or replaced. I would have never bought that brand had I been told that information up front. And I have NEVER heard of buying a mattress that can NOT be replaced or exchanged. I checked around to other furniture stores and mattress companies and every single one of them had return/exchange policies, some of them up to 150 days or more to try out the mattress to make sure you are satisfied. To be told false information in the store when I specifically asked about their mattress policy and then told by their customer service that they have no policy like that and they would not be able to help me in ANY way was beyond disappointing. The bed frame I purchased did not sit around the adjustable base appropriately there was about a 6 inch gap where you could see the slats when you got close to the bed. Not at all how a bed frame should look when set appropriately. The adjustable base needed to be lowered to fit inside the frame but the delivery people did not take any time or care to recognize how poorly everything looked and they wanted to leave as quickly as possible. Again, when I called customer service with pictures of how poorly set up the bed frame and base were they told me that there was nothing they could do about it and that was how it was supposed to look with the huge gap around the mattress. Their customer service team were rude and so unprofessional. I had to research the situation myself and ended up having to buy shorter legs for the adjustable base (which should have been brought with the delivery of the base) to make sure it was at the correct height for the frame and for ME. My feet were literally dangling from the bed with the legs they set it up with! This situation could have been fixed by the customer support team if they had cared about their customer. Instead I had to fix the problem myself, order parts from Amazon and have friends come over and fix the issue on our own. Again so so disappointing. I had also purchased a sofa from Raymour and Flanigan (I do NOT work for them) at the same time. Something was off with the sofa and I called their customer support line regarding the issue, a technician came out a few days later and they replaced the sofa! No trying to argue with me or tell me their was nothing they could do, they issue was fixed seamlessly. Night and day from my experience with Ashley. Needless to say I will never buy anything else from Ashley furniture. Hopefully my experience helps someone looking to buy a mattress or another piece of furniture from having the same frustrating experience I did.
Horrible customer service and after purchase support. Takes for ever to resolve any issues.. The store never picks up the phone. The nearby Secaucus store is much more professional and responsive.

Nice store, good choice
We went in for a couch and left with exactly what we wanted, but it took almost 2 hours and that was entirely on us. I say that because our salesperson Toni exhibited endless patience with us. At one point we were talking like were were leaving, and he never changed his tone, it was more like he was "in it" with us. Ultimately the 3 of us (me, my wife, and Toni) made a choice and we'll have it in time to host Christmas. The attention we got from the manager in finalizing the paperwork is also worth noting. This is the 2nd couch we've purchased here, we'll definitely be back. PS ask for Toni!

I only want to express my bad experience with the mattress that I bought a week ago at Ashley. My husband and I tried the mattress for a week, we gave our body time to adapt to the new mattress but after a week we realized that it was not a good choice. I called Ashley's customer service and they told me that there is nothing they can do for me, not even because I wanted to exchange for another mattress of their own that is worth twice than the one we bought. They practically told me that i throw my money in the garbage because now I will have to buy it again elsewhere, throw away or give this away. The sales person who assisted me at the Paramus NJ store, a very nice lady, did not inform me about their replacement policies, if she would tell about it I would be more careful when choosing the one we need. I spent $8,000 at Ashley that day, and they let me down with their policies that don't help customers. The saddest part is that even few days after visiting the store and before I got all my furniture delivered, I went to a different store and quoted my furniture with them and they gave me better prices. I was saving with the other store $2,000 with the same items I purchased at Ashley. I had the chance to cancel this order as it was not delivered yet and go with the other store with better prices and I decided not to do it because I rather to buy from well-known companies like Ashley because of security and better consumer experience, big error. I am very surprised to see that this company has policies that do not accommodate their clients when I thought that it was a very prestigious company and I felt safe buying with them, not any more. I regret not going to another place to buy all my furniture. However, mistakes only happen once and I promised not to buy anything from this place again and express my bad experience with Ashley to everyone around me.

1 Nightstand- got a new one 2 Nightstand – had stain for tissue box. I just kept it. 3 Draw Dresser- Replaced 3 times. Holes, pealing and scratched. Drawers not closing. Had to report them to better business bureau to get a new one. Had to record a video of me sticking finger nails in cracks because they didn't believe me. 4 Chest- had problems with one draw and my husband fix it. Got 2 new ones that did not fit. Wrong gliders. Only fit on the original drawer Ordered bedroom set in July 2022 but furniture got delivered in October 2022. Had all the correct and new pieces by the end of July 2023. Which took exactly one year. Overall, -They did not believe me about the dresser I had to keep recording videos. - Bad communication skills. Said were coming and were not. -Said I closed and opened cases which I did not. -Said called and left messages and they did not. They emailed me instead. -Pieces keep getting delayed for months. - One time the workers delivered a damaged piece they were supposed to take damaged pieces back and did not. -Scheduled appointments and cancelled 2 days before and said I never made one.. I ordered a sofa from Raymor and Flanigun and there was a little scratch on it. I just emailed them and sent two pictures and didn’t even talk to them on the phone. Ashley is a big project when you do this. Order from Raymor or a different place. Just not Ashley.

The sales staff was good and the items appear to be good. But, the delivery system needs help. Don't call it a 'courtesy time window' if it is set in stone and unable to change. 6am is not an appropriate time to deliver furniture. Especially for coustomers who don't get off work until midnight. All the reasoning fell on deaf ears when I tried to change the delivery time. After explaining my wife works nights they had the balls to tell me she better be up by 6am because we were first on the list. All I was asking for was a later time slot.

By the way the mattress I want to return is not even three weeks old.

This is the worst experience I ever had dealing with a reputable company such as Ashley. I purchased a reclining power sectional about 6 months ago. When receiving the couch, the delivery guys were in such a rush upon putting the pieces together that we were not able to try out each piece of the reclining furniture. After the delivery team left, we discovered that there was an issue with the reclining function on one of the pieces. The recliner would get stuck halfway through the opening motion. There was a loud bang noise every time we tried to open it. Additionally the arm rest was not set correctly on this one piece compared to the others. On top of the rushed delivery service, one of the delivery guys was very rude to me as I opened the door to receive them, the first thing that was said to me was "Is your man home?". Anyway, we let Ashley know about the malfunctioning piece and the issue with the opening of the recliner. They sent us a service technician to look at the piece. The service technician stated that he would need to replace the motor on this piece. We accepted this solution until Ashley contacted me and told me it would be a few months until they can get the new piece. I waited with a broken couch for a few months. Then, 6 months later Ashley contacts me and informs me that they will actually not be replacing the motor because the entire sectional that we purchased has been discontinued. Thanks for waiting 6 months to tell me this. After many exhausting phone calls and emails with Ashley, they finally agreed to exchange my entire sectional for a completely different piece. We went to the store and picked out a different reclining set. After waiting another 2 months for the delivery, the delivery team arrives and then drops the new couch onto my coffee table that was already pushed out of the way of the setup area. This resulted in a large piece of my coffee table physically breaking off. Unfortunately, my phone calls and emails with Ashley will still be ongoing as I have to submit my coffee table damages to Ashley's claims department. Ultimately, I've had a terrible experience and will inform all of my friends and family about the bad service and terrible quality of furniture from Ashley.

Bought few power recliner back in November 15,2022 and within a week one of the power recliner stopped working. Opened the case on November 23,2022 to get the motor replaced. It’s been more than 2 months now and till today the issue is not fixed. There is no proper updates from the customer service. Yesterday, I went to the store and updated them about this issue. No update from them as well and today they saying once the order is completed there is nothing the store can do and everything is done through customer service which I am being dealing since the last 2 months. Will never buy anything from Ashley anymore.

Shady salesmen here. Went in a week before Black Friday and asked if they do BF sales - one of them said no they don't and don't worry the prices won't go lower. Sure enough BF comes and I see that there's a big BF sale on their website. Salesmen will also awkwardly follow you around with the most random things to talk about.
Nightmare experience! My sectional was due to be delivered this morning. Upon arrival, the delivery team explained that it could not fit. I spoke to a customer service rep who informed me that my only option was to opt for a service that would deconstruct and reconstruct the product in my home at an additional cost ($170) and an unknown amount of time. I asked to speak to a manager/supervisor which after 4 hours never called. I called back l, the customer service rep finally connected me to the supervisor who informed me that the sales rep at this location marked that I waved the measurement fee (something that was never brought to my attention, didn’t even know it existed). After being bounced around for about an hour, I was finally put on the phone with someone named Juan at the location who finally offered guaranteed delivery but because the experience had been such a nightmare I asked to cancel the order. I was made aware that I would still be charged 220 dollars for their failed attempted delivery! As I tried to reason with him, I could not hear him because of the noise in the background and when I told him I could not hear him because of the background noise Juan HUNG UP ON ME! I had to recall customer service who then had to stay on the line as they connected me once again. All in all, I waited 2 months for a couch that couldn’t fit, wasted half of a day, was hung up on, and lost over 200 dollars for their error. Absolute worst customer service experience ever. FOLLOW-UP: I reached out to the email address to see if Ashley’s response to my review was a genuine attempt to make the situation right. The response I received was the very same. They kept attempting to depict me as someone who didn’t want the drivers to be compensated which couldn’t be further from the truth. They admitted fault in the email correspondence but still would only cover a redelivery fee rather than the initial failed delivery which makes no sense. I believe the response to my review was strictly for public relations and not a genuine attempt to rectify the situation.
Our salesperson Doug was very helpful and we were in and out pretty quickly. Didn’t expect to purchase anything that day, but we found a bed we loved and with delivery time less than a week, it was a no brainer for us.
Jonathan was able to assist me over the phone efficiently whereas the customer care center was not! I was able to get the item I needed at a more reasonable delivery rate than the website! I am very happy with the service!
Byran was absolutely the best! I’ve never shopped at Ashley’s before, He had been so patient and understanding and helping me figure what couch would work for my apartment. Then when I found one online and had a ton of questions he answered all my questions. Definitely would shop there again everyone in general is so kind at this location.

My mother and I purchased a new home and of course, we needed furniture. From the moment we arrived in the Ashley Paramus show room we were pleasantly greeted by Laura, she was extremely welcoming and enthusiastic to help us furnish our new home. My mom is extremely picky and indecisive and Laure was able to make her feel confident and happy with all of her purchases. She truly went above and beyond. Had a great experience yesterday with Doug H. Very helpful and not too "salesey" while I was looking for replacement dining room chairs. He was knowledgeable and didn't rush us. Everyone in the store had patience with my energetic 3 year old that was along for the trip Ha! Carly at the main desk was also pleasant.
Worst experience of my entire life. Everything from the start to finish was immensely difficult. Terrible customer service, do not ever interact with Frankie. He will make your time miserable here. He scammed us with selling defective unusable furniture and they have an absolute zero return policy. When you try to call customer service, they will keep rerouting you to a different representative every time and they won't help at all. We are stuck with broken furniture that is defective from the start.

I had a horrible experience with Ashley Furniture and would not recommend them to anyone. My husband and I bought furniture from them back in 2018. We bought the warranty service for $300, and were told in the Paramus store (on route 17) that it covered everything (the salesman that we worked with told us it covered scratches, wear and tear, etc) and that the warranty lasted for five years. Now we know that that was a scam and it was falsely advertised to us by the salesman. The quality of the furniture is terrible and everything is starting to break. Our bed’s headboard is completely disconnected from the bed itself, all of the supports underneath are completely broken, and our chaise lounge ripped at the seams. We reached out to the warranty service (Platinum Warranty Service) and it was absolutely terrible. No one would give us a straight answer and they would never tell us or update us on anything about any of our claims. I had to have called them on ten different occasions. Even though it was within the five years, and after having to go back and forth with them numerous times, almost nothing was covered by the warranty. The only thing that was covered was our headboard and it took almost a month and a half of fighting with them in order to get it. It was a total scam and a waste of money. We will never be buying anything from there ever again.

I am extremely happy with the service I received from Ashley Furniture. Jen is amazing, she is knowledgeable and friendly. She walked us through the store to help us pick out a couch, mattress and coffee table. She probably spent two+ hours with us. She even gave my kids goldfish and water. Then when we were filling out the paperwork, Juan also came over to help and he was amazing as well. The delivery was smooth and on time. When the delivery men noticed that the legs for the chaise were missing, they called it in on the spot. I spoke with the rep while the men were still there. The rep then called me back the next day to confirm the legs would be on the way in 7-10 days. The service is top tier and the furniture is great too! 11/10!

We ordered a one seat sofa and one of the legs broke (the day after delivery) because of faulty manufacturing. Ashley Furniture is refusing to help in anyway.. not even coming to take a look to help fix the situation. We would highly discourage ANY purchase from this company. You’ll be scammed and left with non-functioning furnitures.

We loved our experience at Ashley furniture. My husband & I recently bought a house and was just going to “window” shop and get ideas of things we wanted to get. Our sales associate was Kleny and she was wonderful to work with. She gave us the space we needed to walk around narrow down our options. she never made us feel pressured or pushed us to pick a style we weren’t 100% happy with. She was extremely friendly and gave us her opinion when my husband and I couldn’t decide. We ending up spending 2 hours at the store and we are so happy to fill our new home with all the furniture we bought.

Buyers please BEWARE when purchasing ANY mattresses from Ashley Furniture specifically the Ashley brand!!! There’s no satisfaction guarantee! No warranty at all! None!! I just purchased a couple if things at Ashely almost totaling $5,000.00, one them was the Ashley Sleep Gruve 12 Inch Hybrid Queen Mattress. This is by far the WORSE mattress ever and the worse purchase I have ever made! Poor quality, EXTREMELY uncomfortable! Its Just a bad mattress!!! Ive had this mattress for 15 days and have been waking up with back pains every single day! This is causing me more medical problems then what I already have to deal with on a regular basis! Customer service was terribleeeeee!! I called them to start some type of claim so that I can exchange it for a different one and to my surprise there is no guarantee/warranty on the mattress! They refused to assist me in resolving the issue. They will not do anything about it, instead the rep suggested I resell the mattress to some else so that I can purchase a different one! I am now stuck with something that is causing me pain! At this point I rather sleep on the floor! Personally, I think that Ashley Furniture Store doesn’t care about their customers nor how satisfy they are with their products, they only care about the money! This was my first and last time I will buy from them! Very disappointed!

Made a number of purchases over the past month for the new house. Antonio has been excellent through it all and the delivery teams have always showed up on time and been very clean, quick and professional. I had a minor issue with the first delivery on one of the beds but the delivery team made sure they corrected it to my satisfaction prior to leaving. I'm extremely happy with Ashley and their entire operation.

Buying my sofa in the store was a very good experience and my salesman Kevin was a total doll! Even brought me a coffee while working out the details. Delivery was half hour earlier than expected and driver actually asked me for a tip for him and his 2 men before they even took my old sofa down to the street. Then they rushed the entire delivery barely giving me a chance to clean up under my old sofa before they put the new one in.

Omg have been so much in my life lately I had to get a sofa and I walked in and Austin said hello and he didn’t follow us around he asked what we were looking for and gave us the time to look and see what we liked. He asked in what color scheme, plush or firm and immediately took us to see what turned out to be our ultimate purchase. Rimon, took his time to make sure we saw different price points, slight color variations and set ups and allowed us to make our minds up. Rimon was a gentleman and a true professional. When we explained that we had come there at check out because Bobs store of Paramus completely blind sided us with a cancellation of delivery the day before promised delivery of 7/30/22, Rimon spoke to his manager and returned with an additional discount for us to make our experience the best furniture purchase in a very long time. We thank Rimon very much. Can’t wait for our new furniture to arrive in three days.

Rude staff. Visited this store on a very hot day over the weekend. Greeted by a staff member, Jeni, who asked us why are we there and we said we are looking around. To that she responded sarcastically, “oh well enjoy the AC.”. Made us feel terrible as if we were there to enjoy just the AC. We decided to leave the store and stopped at another furniture store on our way home for our furniture needs. I guess the cancel culture is real lol.

BUYER BEWARE! I’ve been a long time customer of Ashley Furniture from bedroom set to living room. This was my first time purchasing at the Paramus store as I just moved and needless to say they will not be getting any more business from me. Not only did they sell me an item that is defective from manufacture but they have refused to assist me in resolving the issue. I purchased a nightstand to complete my bedroom set and the color doesn’t match, the craftsmanship is horrible, and the piece isn’t even completely painted! Aside from the fact that they lied to make a sale, they also have horrendous customer service. I even brought the piece back to the store to show them in person the issues and they still refused to make things right. Pictures are attached so you can see the quality of what you’ll be getting if you shop here. Don’t waste your time at this store!

The sales personnel are friendly and worked with us to find is waht we wanted. We had the two separate orders of furniture delivered on the same day and assembled by an Ashley team. Ashley's delivery department made sure we were notified of the delivery specifics well in advance of the day of the delivery and narrowed down the delivery window as the day approached. The delivery and assembly team were polite, efficient, knowledgeable, and clean. Overall we had a great experience and would recommend this store and delivery team to friends and family.

Went here after work with my roommate, and noticed that the prices are twice as more expensive in person than on the website. Delivery times are too far in advance and don't appear to be accurate. Tried to persuade me to finance and get a store credit card. Ultimately left and went somewhere else!

Donna Heskins was an amazing salesperson- she was personable and knew exactly which pieces fit my style. She made the whole process so easy & downright enjoyable. I felt like I was being helped by someone I had known my whole life, which is truly what makes the experience that much better.
I am giving one start because of the product they have. But I am taking away all the stars because their delivery system and customer service is horrible. Also they are very good in keeping the important information to fool the customers. We bought a sofa and bed from them. They did not delivery on the promised time. We wrote a bad review which triggered them to help us with our order. They requested us to delete the review and give them a chance to help us. Trust me not worth it!. They did not tell us that they will be delivery the sofa in one piece and would charge us extra if we want the sofa sent in pieces and then assemble. This we got to know when the sofa arrived and they could fit the sofa in the elevator. We had to return the sofa eventually. The delivery guys were literally throwing away our bed. Thankfully nothing broke. We had to do so many follow up for our refund. We did get the refund but guess what, they never refunded the protection plan. We took protection plan for the sofa since it was white color. The store said it is for sofa. When we again spoke to them they said insurance was for both sofa and bed. Well, we never asked for bed and they never informed it was for both. Its been 3 months and we haven't received the refund for our protection plan. I would never ever recommend anyone to buy from here. Horrible experience!

Joe Marrara is hands down the most patient, knowledgeable salesman at ashley furniture. Upon entrance his warmth was felt and he i never felt like i was being pushed to buy something. His honesty and overall knowledge about the products that i bought today was superb. He also introduced me to Juan Estevez whom was also so genuinely nice, patient and knowledgeable about purchasing a mattress. He really got in depth about my sleep patterns and how we could better them and which mattress was the best for me. My son and I entered the store about 30 minutes before closing last night. We recently leased a 2 bedroom, 2 bath duplex and needed to get furniture as we are moving in next week. Doug, the salesman who greeted us upon entry, was great. He worked to understand my budget and helped identify some great options that offered high value without being the most expensive items. He was also quite good with my son who has autism--very patient and engaged him so my son could feel like he was part of the process. While I don't expect I will need new furniture for quite some time, I will definitely return to this location and work with Doug again if the opportunity arises.

Went to Ashley furniture in paramus to buy a sofa for our basement. The moment you walk in you feel very welcomed but not overwhelmed which is my opinion is huge. The salesman Joe was super friendly and helpful. The prices are competitive with all the major brands.He didn't try to oversell us on anything and was very accommodating to all our requests. He even got our 3 year old paper and pen to color with😀. Overall great experience i will definitely be going back there in the future.
I have originally given three stars because of the store experience when I purchased my furniture.1 star is an over rating but a requirement in order to post a review.. Unfortunately, for almost 2 months now I have been given the complete runaround by Ashley home stores. I contacted the corporate office, only to find out each store is on privately, And just transfer me to every other department! This is regards to damages that were caused by the delivery team, and numerous emails and phone calls to not only customer service,but claims, delivery company,management team, etc..including a signed agreement that I would receive my reimbursement for the repairs since April, 2022. Even in this site..”Duran”being Concerned asking me to complete a feedback form, which I have already done at least eight times! It’s a joke !So no responseTo the date, I still have not received reimbursement. As I mentioned, the sales team was favorable, but they do not back their products or really care about the customer after the sale is made. For the past two weeks, I was told I would get a response within 24 hours and still have not heard back. Be cautious!…sales experience 3/22.I was pleasantly welcome by sales rep Debbie upon entering the store (unlikeR&F &10 minutes looking for a rep .)She was excellent & professional &because of her ,the sale was finalized. Just one little obstacle was I thought they would honor online pricing which was not correct.update :almost two months since They are delivering which caused damages to my home. Michael was outstanding, definition of excellent customer service. We appreciate that fact that he even approached us because like we told him, many other places overlooked us because we look young. And to be honest when we walked in other did not approach us but Michael stood in spot where he knew he could greet us. This was a very good day at Ashley Furniture. My mother and I came in to look at a bedroom set along with mattresses. Frankie Payano greeted us and immediately made us feel welcome. Laura helped my girlfriend and I pick out furniture such as couches, dining room tables, end tables and bed frames. We basically picked out our whole apartment with her help and she even convinced us to get a new mattress for a good price. Financing is great here and I recommend anyone to go here if they need furniture.

My husband and I bought a couch from Donna/Juan. Good experience. Not giving 5 stars because we got home and found the couch for $500 cheaper on their website. Luckily they price matched for us but it did feel a little slimy that they never mentioned the online price being different. My advice is to check prices online before visiting store and be prepared to discuss any differences. Donna was a sweetheart.

At first we were approached by a very pushy salesman. We explained that we didn’t need any help but he continued to be almost in our way while shopping. He informed us that was his job he wasn’t going anywhere. I explain to the bed was too Big to fit in my purse and I wouldn’t be stealing anything he didn’t need to follow me around. He took it upon himself to get me the manager which was the best thing that could’ve happened to me. Juan was nothing but a gentleman and so incredibly helpful… While waiting for Juan, Another sales woman who unfortunately I don’t know her name approached us and asked to help. She not only helped us but totally closed the deal and between her and Juan they will make repeat customers out of me. I only furnished one room today there’s plenty more to go…

Only ashley store doesn’t get return of any product they sold so if you wanna buy ashley furniture buy online or another store but never ever paramus one!!! and some furnitures they sold us we supposed to have them a month later but we got some after 3 months and some other furniture they told us another 3 months we gotta wait. So they lied to sell and also ashley quality so bad it’s even much worst then ikea. And also check prices online websites they have much better prices and you can return if any problem.
We went into Ashley Homegood Furniture to look at some sectionals, and were immediately greeted by Frankie. He helped showed us a bunch of them, and at the end, he even helped us find what we were looking for in another store that was not available in his location. We really appreciated his effort and you should go see him when coming to the store.

First it starts with Al at the Paramus store. Great guy goes out of his way to help you and shows you other options to make you aware of whats out there. He helps you only and you get his undivided attention. Top notch. I didn't realize it until the near the end of the sale that Al help us purchase a new bed a few years ago and it was the same level of service. Next was the delivery. Was emailed, texted and called to confirm my delivery date and time window. The day of, right on time. The delivery guys were pleasant and made a quick but careful delivery makeing sure that they didn't damage anything including my home. I have made several purchases before with Ashley and has always been treated great. They care about you. The only complaint I have is that there phone system is horrible. Really should hire someone to answer a phone and direct your call. That is one thing that not just Ashley but all companies should do. I will be shopping again with Ashley Furniture. I did shop at other furniture stores prior but I didn't not feel like they cared about me but only the sale so they never got my business. Thank You Al and Ashley Furniture.

My sales person, Laura, was lovely. She was patient but she didn’t hound me. She pointed out features I had not thought about and got my credit limit increase for financing. I came to the store to see something I saw online but I didn’t like it in person. Laura helped me find some alternatives and then I found the one. Love at first sight with this sofa sectional. I must’ve looked at 300 sofas online and I never saw this one there. So that was a beauty of this. By going to the store, I found something that wasn’t available online and the price is excellent. It will take about six weeks to have it delivered but that timing is actually perfect for me because I just moved and I have a room full of boxes right now. Plus, six weeks is a lot less time than many people are waiting for furniture delivery these days. So all around a great experience, I’m happy with my find, I’m pleased with the process thus far and Laura is lovely!
Today I had the most pleasant experience. My salesman was Sam Brooks. He is by far the best salesperson/ customer service person I have ever met. He is courteous and really listened to this customer. I must admit, I am not always the easiest customer to please! Sam showed such patience with me as well as respectfully answering my myriad questions, including, when necessary, having to go back to the computer to find answers to my more obscure questions. He showed interest in my concerns, tried to help me feel at ease and made this customer feel important. Sam showed all of the qualities, and more, of what you would hope for in a salesperson. He should be training other people in your workforce. This is not meant to slight them, rather it is how to help each of them to reach the top notch service I received from Sam Brooks today. These accolades are real. You have my information-feel free to confirm with me. Again, I am not easy to please-admittedly so-you solved that with the wonderful treatment I received. Buyer beware!!! Furniture looked great, hence why we bought it. 2 years in - bed frame supports broke and chaise leather straps broke. 5 Year Protection Plan didn’t cover it. Ashley wiped their hands of it saying it’s outside their control. Is it though??? It’s their choice to contract with this useless warranty company. Take your business elsewhere!!

The deliverers arrived within that window and were great, working to get my couch through a smaller-than-expected entryway.

I never do reviews..and most folks like to provide negative feedback rather than acknowledge a positive experience. My husband and I went in to Ashley Homestore Paramus looking for a sectional with the hopes of not having to wait months for a delivery which seemed to be the case when shopping around other vendors. Doug was AMAZING!!!!! The moment we walked in Doug was attentive, patient, knowledgeable, not overbearing and extremely helpful. I know we drove him crazy and the fact that he just went with our craziness was awesome. The experience from start to finish exceeded expectations.
Antonio was very helpful and extremely nice and sincere. Updated, we received some of our furniture yesterday. Some items were damaged so we couldn't accept them and will have to be redelivered. And one item was completely wrong, but we decided to keep it because it was similar to the one we picked out. The furniture is great, the salesman is awesome, but this whole experience is just average.

I just visited this store on 9/24/2021 at 7:00pm, the sales associate, Courtney (tall and thin woman) was very nasty and had a nasty disposition about herself while I was conducting business with the other sales associate. I had my two children with me and she had no patient and tells me this is not a playground. I was trying to juggle the kids and trying to make a potential purchase. I haven’t been in the Ashley store in years due to the poor quality and decided to come and give it a try. She has made my visit today very uneasy and had to remember that I am professional and had my children with me.

I’ve had a long history with Ashley furniture and most recently went into the Paramus location for a mattress. Needless to say it was quite an ordeal which included me having to redeem a credit for replacement merchandise, and select a new mattress only to turnaround and figure out a replacement mattress for the original one due to a funky entryway which prevented the mattress from clearing my stairs. Trish (I believe a sales manager) offered unparalleled service and support. She went above and beyond to ensure that I was provided an optimal experience from start to finish despite multiple setbacks. She texted and called me several times to follow up throughout the process. She sent countless emails and navigated what seemed like endless hurdles to get me what I needed and again to ensure that my experience exceeded expectation. Truly superb.

Terrible Experience-Never have I dealt with a company like Ashley Furniture. They kept my money and failed to issue refunds for items I never received. They still have my money and I now have to file a dispute with my cc company. Their lame excuse is that the sales representative was supposedly terminated for reporting sexual harassment within the company. No resolution just a bunch of excuses for items never delivered and wont be delivered for months.
Went into Ashley furniture today for the first time and was greeted warmly by one of their store associates Miguel. He made me feel welcomed and escorted me to the bedding section of the store to help me find a pillow and bedding sheets I was looking for. He went above and beyond, explaining the ergonomics of the pillows they had and also their mattresses which I appreciated. Miguel was very knowledgeable, personable, and really cared about connecting me to the furniture pieces that he felt would be best for my living situation and preferences. I walked out feeling very satisfied with the purchases I made and value, and will absolutely come back for my other home-related needs

This store has always been our first choice for sofa purchase. They always have good quality within affordable price. We received our new sofa yesterday. It looks good. Lina Morales was our sales person. Due to Covid, there's delay in furniture availability everywhere. However , Lina made it sure that we get onto priority list and we got our furniture way before expected time. The 5 stars are for her. Just one bad experience, The ottoman when it was delivered, it was stained in one corner. Not blaming anyone, but I have a feeling the delivery guys put the ottoman in a way that we can not see the stain. However I noticed the stain within an hour after delivery. contacted customer support. Now waiting for Ashley's to send out their professionals to clean up the stain or replace the furniture. Update: I am going to have to change the ratings to 3 star due to their after sales services. it is bad. I am struggling to work with them regarding fixing the stain issue. They made appointment to change fabric. They never called to tell me the time window or confirm the appointment day before (which they usually do), never showed up ( I was at home and I have cameras at the door )and when I called , they put blame on me that I missed the appointment and the case was closed. When I asked , how I missed appointment, did the driver ring the door and no one answered?, they had no explanation. The same sofa and Ottoman set was cheaper by $400 when a looked online on day of delivery. I spoke to the sales person from store to find out why it was cheaper? was it going to be discontinued?. I was told that , they will talk to their supervisor and call me back. I never got a call. I am going to have to think twice before going back to Ashleys. Update: My stain issue is still not fixed. They keep giving me a run around by either canceling the service calls without informing me (3 times) or coming home and take a look/pictues for 2 mins and say that this can't be fixed. Ashleys doesn't care about after sales services. Changing review to 1 star. Will revisit if they really fix the issue. Update: My stars still don't change. Based on my review here, I got approached by Austin( as seen below). He reviewed my case, was very approachable . He sent a person home to check the status and try to remove the stain. That person came, just talked for 30 mins, did not even touch the ottoman and left saying he can't do anything. To my surprise, I got an email from Austin saying issue is fixed. Upon talking to him, I came to know that, the person wrote in his report that he removed the stains completely. WHAT A LIE. I told Austin that the person did not even touch ottoman and I Offered him view from Nanny cam, present in the area as a proof. Austin believed me and came back with an offer to give $100 store credit for all the inconvenience. At this point, I was tired of going back and forth and replied to him that I would accept the store credit. I NEVER heard back from Austin again. NEVER received the store credit. he STOPPED responding to my emails and when I call he would not come on the Phone. What a pathetic customer service:(( Sharing my reviews to warn people who have issues with Ashleys furniture. be prepared to be bounced around like soccer ball and expect that your issue will never be solved or you will never be compensated for all the inconvenience.

They are unprofessional, sold me a couch, expected delivery on first week of February. Because of storm they cancelled but didn't call me to inform me delivery date was cancelled. So I had to call them and say what's up with my delivery.... then I reschedule for the following week with there representative. I then Call again the day its suppose to be delivered to confirm delivery today and guess what they tell me we don't have you scheduled at all for today or any other day. Then when I ask when can the couch be delivered at the earliest date the representative tells me March. A whole month out when I was suppose to get the couch in February. Wow.... poor customer service, I will be canceling my order and requesting my money that they have held for over 1 month. Will never do business with Ashley's furniture store for their poor customer service and scammy ways.

Their prices are much higher then their own prices online. The protection is also double the cost in store vs online. I guess if you like being sold something then it's good. Otherwise I wouldn't do it. Quality of the furniture is also pretty bad. Check the materials. They use this cheap polyester on some of the nice looking stuff.

If you’re ever in the Ashley Furniture Home Store in Paramus please go and see Samy(Girl). She is so in-tune with what you like and fits your personality when it comes to choosing your furniture. If your a piece person like me; she even helps you to put your pieces together instead of choosing the typical displayed sets. I have encountered many sales reps on a consistent basis; but I have never met someone like her. It was like we’ve known each other for years!! She is prompt in answering all questions and concerns. The topping on the cake is that she doesn’t push what you don’t want. This was ultimately the reason why I came back to complete my purchase. Thank you so much Samy for the great experience.
I originally left this place a 5 star. Service at the store was amazing. I ordered this cabinet on December 14th. Came in and one drawer did not work, they said they will send a drawer and to call them when it does to make an appointment. I just did and earliest is February 3rd. And if he/she cannot fix it i will have to wait an additional 2 weeks for a new one. Last time i shop here.

We are all going through difficult and trying times. People are quick to complain but do not often take the time to thank or commend. Due to the ongoing pandemic we have been spending a lot of time inside. As such, I have been doing my best to update and upgrade our home. I tend to be a shopaholic. I have made a number of purchases this year and have shopped at several furniture stores. Unfortunately I have had bad experiences at some of them. I visited your Ashley Furniture Store in Paramus, New Jersey earlier today. My intent for today’s visit was simply to look around for some accessories for my home. I was fortunate to have been greeted by your sales associate Jackie Walsh. She was kind, professional, patient, and helpful. Although I was looking mainly for decorative throw pillows she devoted time showing me around the showroom and pointing out a variety of options on the floor and online. She provided me with her business card and told me that she would search further if I had any ideas or items in mind. I feel that she went the extra mile -above and beyond, provided great customer service, and represented your brand, company, and store in a very positive manner (especially in light of an ongoing pandemic). If the CEO, or member of the team, were to appear on Undercover Boss and visit this location they would be quite pleased. There should be more Jackies within your organization. They say they are going to deliver a certain date, we take time off from work, then they don't show up. Trying to get anyone to help you is a nightmare.

I was hesitant of doing business with Ashley’s Furniture after an underwhelming experience at the Linden store the day prior. After reviewing options online I decided to give Ashley’s Paramus a try and I’m happy I did. I made an appointment online and was called by Antonio who was welcoming and kind. He didn’t prey on us and allowed us to review all sectional options. Once we selected a couch, he matched the online price and discounts +. The hospitality and buying experience was top notch IN STORE. Just wait for it. 2-3 months later: STILL WAITING. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM ASHLEY’S. SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE. DON’T SAY YOU WEREN'T WARNED. 4 months later: They delivered my item only to have to put it back on the truck because they altered a sofa piece instead of the chaise (which I paid for separately) . My husband went directly to the store where they tried to offer $100 for inconvenience. While reviewing the order he finds that the item that was supposed to be delivered was wrong! The chaise was on the wrong side! So now we had to wait longer to get our furniture. They FINALLY delivered a sofa and ottoman a week later. I contacted them (not the other way around) 3 weeks later regarding the Chaise. They scheduled the delivery just for the delivery date to be cancelled on the day they were supposed to deliver it. Now I have to wait AGAIN. 5 months later: Received the Chaise after additional delivery cancellations. The “manager” Angel stopped texting me and ignored my texts. One of the couch covers came damaged however they replaced it within a week. Like my sectional, hate the service. The inconvenience refund received was not enough. Overall was not worth the headache. I’M GONNA SAY IT LOUD AND CLEAR... YOU ARE SIGNING UP TO BE STRESSED OUT AND ANNOYED.

My customer experience has been horrendous We purchased living set on 10/17/20.. after waiting 5-6 weeks for delivery The sofa was sent defective 3 times with no eta on 4th attempt we requested cancellation. It’s 01/16/20 and we still haven’t received our refund The store lacks proper basic skills to complete a simple refund transaction.. I would high recommend anyone thinking of shopping at this location to avoid them. As our frustrations not knowing who to speak to or when things will be resolved
Tanvir and Jeni were so amazing! After a horrible experience at the Poughkeepsie Ashley’s we came to Paramus with low expectations but wow!!!!! Not only did we find the exact living room set we’ve been looking for but she also got us a kitchen set that we’ve been looking for. They both listened to what our needs and wants were and gave AMAZING ADVICE! We will now only shop at Paramus Ashley with Tanvir and Jeni even though it’s over an hour drive for us! Let me break down the reason for the 1 star rating. I would give 0 stars if I could. We purchased a full home of furniture for a 2nd home almost a year ago and to this day repairs to some pieces have still not been made. The sales experience was good overall - sales person was polite and helpful, however the full details of the process post the purchase were not fully explained. First upon delivery the delivery service was frustrated that they had a whole house full of furniture to deliver to a distant location which we arranged in advance and was told was no problem. We had a few pieces to be moved to allow for the new furniture and the delivery man threathened to leave and not delivery the furniture. We had to get the customer service on the line to resolve this and they finally did. There were 3 or 4 things to be repaired we noted post the deliver that are not resolved to this day. We were not told that to get repairs done the customer has to call the 1800 # and send photos of teh serial numbers and the damages. Even though this seemed like alot for the customer we did not once but 3 times. The customer service reps are uncooperative at best and read off a script. They finally sent some of the parts, but not all, and after going to the store and complaining they called to say they didn't order all of the parts and the service date had to get moved again. I asked if they could expedite the parts and set up for February and they told me no they have to wait until parts arrive. Not accomodating at all and will not try to make good for their terrible process. It is a self service model which is not told to you upfront. As such I'd rather spend more at RH or Raymour and have better followup. Not honest and not worth it!!! Stay away!!

My husband and I had a wonderful experience at Ashleys in Paramus. Our salesperson, Samy, approached us after we walked in and showed us multiple items that fit the description of what we told her we were looking for. She was patient and answered all of our questions. Samy was knowledgeable about what was in the store, where everything was and the protection plan. She went above and beyond sending us measurements and pictures when I realized I forgot to while I was there. She helped us pick out a great kitchen table set and living room sofas. We had a such a great experience that we will be back to purchase more in the near future.
How lucky am I that after trying every local furniture store i was able to call an out of state furniture store and get the most incredible service! Lina was amazing , she was able to get me information quickly and offer alternatives on the spot. When my couch was going to take too long for delivery she found me almost an identical couch, and got my shipping within the week... which is unheard of in these times! She sent drawings to my phone, she broke down prices and was extremely patient with me. All of this on the phone!! I received better service over the phone with her than in person at any of my local stores! Make the call , take the drive, do whatever you have to to get to the Paramus Ashley store and ask for LINA, you will be so happy you did! Even the manager was helping to measure for me, at other stores the manager never even comes out of the back! Great Store, Great service, incredible salesperson!

Update: originally I gave this store a 5 star rating. The sales process was flawless until we soon realized we were being just sold to for the salesperson to make their numbers. The sales person gave us a time frame of 2-3 weeks for delivery, it is now 2 months. Waiting for something in the current state of the world is not the problem, the being lied to for the salesperson to make a sale is. Informing us of the correct timeframe or with the correct information would have been the correct thing to do. Lying to us was not. If the salesperson would have told us from the start that he was not sure how long the items can take and we decided to go ahead with the purchase, that would have been on us. But instead he took the decision away from us by lying about time frames. Now we have run our credit, still have no furniture in our new home.

Swung by Ashley to look at a sideboard that matches our dining table we bought a couple month ago. Ended up walking around the store with Jon (our sales rep), and buying a number of additional pieces, as well as a bunch of artwork and other accessories that they have staged. What I like most is that everything is staged very well, so it’s easy to picture what things will look like in your space. And the folks am who work here are fantastic! Friendly, helpful, and intent on making the process seamless. Great value, all around.
The store experience was great and this is my 2nd time at this location the first when I brought my family member to purchase their living room furniture. This would have been a 5 star review but the delivery experience was horrendous for the times that we find ourselves in. The drivers did not follow instructions as to where in the home to not step and did not wear the booties I had provided and advised prior to entry in my home. To top it all off the middle piece to my sectional was delivered without the legs so They couldn’t complete the build and I now have to wait an additional 2 weeks for the legs to arrive. Not to mention the drivers did. It wear gloves but at least wore masks
Do NOT shop with Ashley. I purchased a high top table, accent chair and ottoman on July 17, 2020. The table was delivered in August and the chair and ottoman were delayed due to the pandemic (understandable.) We ended up canceling the chair in August because we needed it sooner than later and after multiple phone calls & trips to the store we got refunded 8 weeks later (we were told 10 business days.) Our ottoman FINALLY got delivered on October 2nd but guess what, they didn’t send the legs! We spoke to the customer service team while the delivery driver was still here and were told the legs would be shipped directly to us in about 7 days. Received the delivery with ONE leg!! I called back and they apologized and were sending 3 more legs right away. Received the delivery 10 days later with ONE MORE leg! At this point, we went to the place of purchase, Paramus store, at the end of October because we hoped they would help. Our sales woman Jen was no help with that or our refund, I guess she already got her commission so what did she care? Then I spoke with a manager and she apologized issued our refund and claimed she placed the order for two more legs. The legs never came and I made multiple more calls to customer service. It is now December 26, and I am currently on hold with customer service AGAIN trying to figure out why they have not sent me 2 more legs for the ottoman and when I will get them. The store has not been helpful, customer service has not been helpful. Overall a terrible experience! I have had a piece of furniture for over 2 months that we have not been able to use.
We were helped by Antonio today at the Paramus store and he was super helpful in helping us find the furniture we wanted. He made suggestions in terms of what style would suit our house and found us the best deals. Very happy with the service provided! Make sure you ask for Antonio when you go!!

Great experience, I was helped by an associate right away and they helped me find the perfect couch for me. My associate, Ivy, was extremely knowledgeable about all the pricing and configurations of the sofas in the store. She helped me find the perfect sofa with the correct configuration, she also helped find a great price for me. There were a few bumps on my side and I had to move my delivery date 3 times and each time Ivy was very helpful and got the date changed within minutes. Also, the sofa I bought was on back order but Ivy helped find the pieces i needed and got it shipped much earlier than the expected date which was very helpful. I recommend you go here and ask for Ivy.

Laura met us immediately upon our arriving at the Paramus NJ store. She was very helpful showing me various styles of living room chairs, and explained right away the cost, discount available, etc and the chair I purchased would not be delivered for 8 weeks. My daughter is still unsure which style she wants and Laura did not pressure her at all (one of my pet peeves). I cannot comment on the chair until it arrives, but as far as customer service I'd definitely return to this Ashley Home Store.
I wish that I could give Ashley Furniture less than one star. We have 3 of the porter chests and the matching bed. We needed a bit more room, so we decided to order an additional chest. The first time it was delivered, it was not leveled. It seemed to be warped. It didn’t sit right, the drawers wouldn’t stay closed, and the top was damaged. It was a nightmare to have a technician come out. Despite my explanations to the woman on the phone, I was told that new rollers needed to be ordered before tech could even be scheduled. I’m not sure how new rollers in the drawers would fix the massive damage to the piece of furniture. When he finally did, he agreed and explained that it must’ve been “dropped”. We worked to reschedule an additional delivery. Ashley did not work with us at all. I requested an early delivery time, yet instead our time wound up being at 4pm. I had to take off of work as a result of their initial wrong doing. We waited two weeks to get a new piece. When the new piece came, I was so concerned with checking that the drawers worked properly, that I didn’t exam it as thoroughly as I should have. To be honest, if you purchase something that is $1,000 you expect good quality. I shouldn’t have to be Ashley’s quality control. However, when I was putting the clothes in the drawers after, I noticed that the top drawer was absolutely disgusting. It looks as if we got a used piece of someone’s furniture that they returned. There was spilled liquid ALL OVER the felt pad. At this point, I wish I could return this piece of garbage. I called them and they are sending an additional drawer, but now I have to wait again. I’m addition, there are tiny imperfections and scratches on the entire thing. I will NEVER be shopping at Ashley furniture again. I urge everyone to take warning when spending their money at this establishment. They are over priced and the quality of their furniture is garbage.

Just finished a sale with Joe M! What a gentleman he was! He greeted us and took our jackets and offered us coffee. He allowed us to walk around the store at our own pace without trying to “sell” or talk our ear off about each piece. He popped in occasionally to see if we had any questions, and when it came time to do numbers he made it quick, easy and light hearted!!! In store experience was excellent however the delivery has been a nightmare!!! The delivery service did not come equipped with the necessary hardware to mount the headboard to the heavy duty bedframe. Second appointment was scheduled and again the service team arrived without the necessary hardware. It is impossible to contact a manager on the telephone so we had to make an unnecessary trip to the store. We are still waiting for resolution. I would not recommend purchasing furniture at Ashley. Horrible customer service after the sale!!!
I had such a great experience at Ashley homestore! Kelvin was incredibly helpful and took the time to walk me through every step and worked with me to find everything I needed. Him and Ramon went out of their way to get me the pieces I needed at an affordable price. I had previously had a terrible customer service experience with Bob’s furniture so I was skeptical but Kelvin and Ramon were amazing. My furniture ended up being delivered faster than I expected and I love everything I got!
Dealt with Kalvin, a true professional. Didn’t leave anything out. Was more then willing to show me other Ashley furniture even when it was pretty obvious I was sold on the first option. As long as the deliver and satisfaction of the couch is in order, I’d most likely deal with him for further purchases.

My In-store experience was great, but it was everything afterwards that was absolutely horrible. I ordered my furniture in August and received it a few weeks afterwards. I was impressed with the timely delivery, but I should have known something was wrong when the delivery men RAN out of my house after dropping off my furniture. I quickly inspected the pieces and my nightstand was scuffed and not repairable and my dresser drawers were broken and would not open. I immediately called their customer service number and scheduled a technician to come out to take photos of the damaged pieces. I also had to upload photos of the pieces to their website. The technician came out, took photos, uploaded them to their database and told me someone would be contacting me about a refund and “hopefully” replacement furniture. From that moment on, I had to call 4 times to speak with someone on their team about my replacement furniture items and every time I spoke to someone it was as if I started from the beginning again. No one knew why I was calling, there was no record of my photos indicating these broken pieces, they could not find the technicians photos and I constantly demanded to speak with a manager which never happened. Three months later I called again and was able to lock in a new nightstand which I received and the woman told me shortly after my nightstand I would get my dresser. Well to no surprise, the dresser never came. I called again to follow up on my dresser and the customer service representative said “I’m sorry but it looks like someone dropped the ball and this did not get processed.” How? How does this happen after my 5th call? He then told me he did see a credit was being applied due to this horrific experience and I asked him to send me an email, which I have, stating I will be receiving a credit and also exchange. Immediately after he sent that email, while still on the phone with him, I asked him to confirm the credit amount he saw on file and he proceeded to state, “oh, I’m sorry but you’re actually not receiving a credit since you’re getting an exchanges item.” I KID YOU NOT. How does someone one minute say he SEES a credit being processed on my file, email me with this information and then two seconds later retract that statement??? How?? How, because it’s Ashley furniture. I then say well okay, can you at least proceed with my request for a replacement dresser and he said please hold. As he was working on that process, I demanded to speak to a manager. After waiting on hold for 10 minutes, I got in contact with a manager who told me 1. She does not know what the guy was talking about. All she had to do was put in a date to replace my furniture and not process any new information and 2. I could not receive a credit or refund. What happened to customer service here? What happened to respecting your customer and acknowledging when you are wrong? To sum this up, I HIGHLY HIGHLY suggest not wasting your time or money here. This was the absolute worst experience I have everrrrrr had at any retail store and I will never shop here again. Crossing my fingers that I receive a dresser one of these days.

OMG, I am amaze how good this store. Starting from when you walk in the store to ordering the product. I order a whole set of sofas, coffee table, side table and accent chair. Unfortunately my apartment wasn’t big enough to fit everything and I had to cancel some items. I thought this was going to be difficult thing to do but this store made everything soooo easy.. the people are so understanding. They issue my refund with no problem. I wish everything will be so easy.
Ashley strikes out again! You order stuff that doesn’t come ! They forgot ! Now you have to wait a month to get it and pay delivery charge? Buyer Beware!
I had a great shopping experience at Ashley Furiture store in Paramus, NJ. I needed to furnish my home with all new furniture which included bedroom sets, mattresses and dining table. Ivy was the Sales rep who helped me and offered excellent service. She was very patient and answered all my questions and made many changes on my order when I wanted to switch things around. The furniture is of superior quality. Mark who is an expert on mattress help us find the perfect mattress for our bed...He answered all our questions and was very accommodating. I would recommend Ashley to all my friends and family.

*DO NOT BUY FURNITURE FROM ASHLEY!!!!* Sales person will tell you you can try the mattress and if you don't like the mattress, you can always exchange but this is NOT true. If this is a comfort issue, they will only refund you 60% according to customer service. This place is giving you a wrong information just to get your money.

We couldn’t be more happy with the service that was provided to us, Lina was kind, professional, and informative throughout the whole process. Not only did she spend hours with us picking out the perfect match to our decor. But she stood in touch with us all the way up to delivery. She was even able to get all my furniture in on the same day and within three weeks! In the mist of a pandemic you know this is difficult, but Lina pulled it off! And we couldn’t be more happy! Came to the store with my 1 year old baby Looking for our new dinning table, Kelvin helped us and he was super friendly and very helpful, he showed me all the possible options, moving chairs from one part of the store to another one so I can pick which one I like the most. I had placed three orders on July 15th and promised that I would receive all three items by no later than the end of August. Received my dining room table in August, but have not received my other orders. Additionally, I have been called by Ashley’s on three different occasions informing me that my order was being delivered and on all three occasions the delivery was cancelled. I have been attempting to call Ashley’s, but they are having all their calls routed to their central customer service line with waits being over an hour and calls never being returned. I would avoid this Ashley’s store at all cost given that they will not keep customers updated. I understand that we are in a pandemic, but that is not an excuse to willfully ignore customers or avoid connecting. Highly disappointed!

I bought sofa, dining table and bed room sets in 2015 with extended warranty. DO NOT fall for extended warranty, it is good for nothing. I guess you get what you paid for...dinning table and sofa both started going bad after 8 months..bed room sets doing ok...

Purchased a bed frame and mattress from salesman Rimon. He seemed pleasant enough, but he was not a knowledgeable or experienced furniture salesman. He asked me what box spring I wanted, I had no idea. In the end I picked the smallest box spring- with little direction from the sales guy. In the end, the frame looks huge compared to the box spring and mattress. I’ll own not being informed, but that is why I went to the store to buy from a person as opposed to buying online. It took me a month to get a hold of a human at Ashley to help me- I actually had to go back to the store- I kept getting ping ponged around On the phone. Ashley couldn’t fix the issue once the order was delivered to my house, so I’m stuck with the decision. I’ll figure out how to fix outside of Ashley. Won’t purchase from them again- and I don’t recommend going to these stores to buy, just buy online as the sales folks are not informed
My husband & I visited Ashley in Paramus just last night. This was our first time to an Ashley Furniture Store & were pleasantly surprised. We had a very specific table size & color we were looking for. We were approached by Sam who was very knowledgeable and friendly. He showed us all the dining room tables that met our width requirements. Sam definitely knows his business and made our experience and purchase pleasant & easy. The best part is, we were able to get delivery within the same week!

I walked around the store for a half hour and not one sales person asked if I needed help. They looked at me but never approached me. I guess they were all to busy hanging out talking to eachother and I'm guessing that's what they are getting paid to do is social distance with coworkers not sell furniture!! Very disappointing! I'm go to Bob's Furniture where their employees actually asked me if I needed help so I will be giving them my business!!
Unfortunately there is not zero stars option to give because that is what I would be giving to this store .. on June 18 2020 I went with my husband to buy a living room set and a set of coffee tables, Antonio, one of the staff members and who sold us the living room never placed the order to their warehouse, so we went in July 22,2020 to see what was going on with the delivery since we didn’t received any email, text, or phone call to communicate what was going on. Surprisingly, another guy told us that our order wasn’t even there (even though they had taken the money already from our debit card). That day, the guy who saw us put a date for a delivery which was August 13, 2020 and the story doesn’t end here, I waited until late afternoon and I called to see what time was the delivery because it was like 4pm already and no calls or anything .. when I called, another guy told me the delivery wasn’t ready for that day and I needed to wait until September 19 .. (a purchase made on June 18).No communication at all. COSTUMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE, THEY RELY ON JUST A NAME THAT THEY HAVE BUT IN REALITY ASHLEY FURNITURE IS A JOKE.

Over a month ago I ordered a left arm facing chaise lounge with sofa love seat with JENNI at the PARAMUS, NJ location. She rushed and left me with another associate JOHN who also rushed me through the check out process. I'm a fast talker and I had to ask JOHN to slow down and repeat himself when going over the insurance, shipping info and other "fine print". It finally came time to receive my couch only to realize it was the WRONG COUCH! The couch that was delivered would not fit in the designated area of my living room. After several attempts to reach JOHN or JENNI I went into the PARAMUS, NJ showroom and spoke to the original salesperson, JENNI. Through customer service I was able to re-order the couch with TATIANNA. Upon arrival of the SECOND couch the drivers alerted me that what they had was a 3 seater sofa and chaise after they saw my living room. Obviously, a 3 seater sofa was not fitting in my apartment. I then got on the phone with MIKE the store manager of the PARAMUS location. He first tried his best to make sense of the multiple mistakes that were happening with my order and told me he would reach out to his higher ups and CC me on emails to JENNIFER OLIVERA and that the CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE SUPERVISOR would reach out to me. After a few days on Monday (now well over a month) I called MIKE to ask if there were any updates because I hadn't seen anything in my inbox and no one had reached out to remedy this absurd ripple of mishandling. MIKE described the situation as a misunderstanding and he retracted his promise to CC on the emails, and that a supervisor or district manager (MIKE claims he is both district manager and store manager of PARAMUS) pretty much someone who could personally look into this and make things happen having talked to sooo many people on numerous occasions at that point. Im just tired and have wasted SO much time trying to fix a mistake they made.. and on more than one occasion. Finally, TATIANNA reached out to me with yet another apology on behalf of Ashley Furniture and maybe, hopefully, by some chance ordered me the intended configuration of the loveseat and chaise. The couch is now backordered several weeks! I have now been waiting a few months for my couch and no one has properly compensated me for this gross mishandling and subpar customer service. I have been in communication with BIBI, the head of customer service who reports directly to the Board of Directors to see now what they will do for me. What will the Board of Directors do to acknowledge these excessive mistakes. This is not even the only grievance I have with Ashley. I have also received damaged product and true to my patient nature I didn't have the nice delivery men pack it all up and send me brand new merchandise. I settled to avoid any delays or confusion on both Ashley and my behalf, to just have a technician sent out to repair the hole in my drawer. When the delivery guy put me on to customer service I asked for a confirmation code or at the very least an estimated date of arrival for the tech. I got nothing. Absolutely no correspondence or confirmation via email or phone. As many people as I've been in contact with at the sales level and corporate I don't even think they are aware that an appointment for a technician was made! I really try to be patient but I don't believe Ashley is in the business of creating warm and welcoming homes for their customers like they say on all their promotional media, including the recorded message that plays when placed on hold. They are insensitive and not adequately equipped to create positive shopping experiences. I am truly stunned and extremely disappointed in how this is being handled by Ashley. At a time when everyone is stuck in their homes either for work or while schooling children, it is not the time to be totally uncomfortable, frustrated and uneasy in my new place. I now await my 3rd delivery for sometime between the last week of September and November. Don't shop with Ashley.

At the Paramus Ashley Furniture Homestore, Rimon Ryad, the employee who helped me today did an excellent job. He knew how to quickly find the items I was looking for (even though I didn't always clearly explain what I was looking for) and was able to answer my questions and show me samples that applied to what I was looking for.
I recently went there, not even looking to purchase something and ended up walking away buying a 6 piece bedroom set. The person who helped me out, Jeni, was very reliable in helping me acquire my bedroom set as well as answering any questions I had about said purchase. I would definitely return for any furniture purchase and talk with her as she was very helpful.
Love the sales and service team at Ashley HomeStore in Fairfield, NJ! When we entered the store, Jim was there with a warm, welcoming greeting. He asked us what we were shopping for and if we had any preferences in mind. After 30 minutes or so, we found a bedroom set we loved! While Jim was working the sale details, Sam accompanied us on our search for a new mattress. He was very knowledgeable about all the options and explained the benefits of each. After 15 minutes, we found exactly what we were looking for! We couldn't have asked for a better tandem to help us bring our vision to life. Our delivery arrived yesterday and we couldn't be happier! Thank you to all the staff at Ashley, but especially Jim and Sam! Their patience and recommendations were much appreciated. Highly recommend working with both of them!

Without a doubt, the worst place I have EVER purchased from. I spent a decent amount of money to furnish my brand new apartment - full living room and bedroom set and they had no problem taking my money, but when there came time for issues to be addressed, they dragged their feet and said that things were “out of warranty” I would NEVER give Ashley’s another dollar let alone refer any people to their store. The people at the desk are rude when you call or go in to address an issue and customer service isn’t worth $0.2. Save your money and headache - and go ANYWHERE else besides Ashley’s

Rimon was amazing! He was super helpful and patient. He was not a pushy salesman at all. He was great at answering our questions and then he would walk away, NOT hovering, and give us time to discuss it amongst ourselves. He was also very clear in the price structure and breakdown of all the costs associated with our couch and loveseat purchase. I can honestly say it was a great furniture buying experience and I can't always say that!
I just want to say thank you to both the Manager Mike and Alicia for making my purchase during this difficult time such a success..these two made my move so easy, I got everything delivered the same day for my bedrooms, living and dining room. Mike is an amazing guy, never met him in person but I can tell you, he worked on his day off to help me with my purchase and approval and on the day of me receiving my furniture I had a small glitch, he took care of it. Alicia sale rep she too is a amazing, send her my idea and she help me to pick out what she think I would like and I love love them. Having bought a new house, my wife and I needed furniture to furnish it all. When entering the store the first time, we were met by Jerris, who understood our vision and suggested pieces that met our budget and our style. When we were ready to buy, Jerris was always available by text and phone, and was able to coordinate a showing appointment for us at a larger store during the stay-at-home period during the COVID-19 pandemic. This ended up being the worst purchase experience I have ever had. Purchased expensive warranty and it worthless. It's been weeks since it has not worked. They just left amd did nothing . I will never buy from them again
I recently purchased a pull-out sofa from the Ashley store location in Paramus New Jersey. I preemptively informed the saleswoman that I had very little space in my basement to fit a sofa down there and she assured me that it "wouldn't be a problem, because they had the ability to break down the couches and reassemble" once they were where they needed to be. However, she made it seem like that would be included with the delivery. This was not the case. When they were unable to get the couch into the basement, they told us they could break it down for an additional fee of $250. We told the people if that was the case we didn't want the sofa and they could take it back. They informed me us we would still have to pay the delivery fee. I understood that it was not their fault; still, had I been given the truth from the beginning I would not have purchased the sofa in the first place. I've since tried calling Ashley's on five different occasions to get a refund of that delivery charge since it was not my error. Every time I've spoken to someone they assure me that a manager will call me back however I have not yet heard from any manager. I would strongly urge anyone who is considering purchasing furniture to stay away from this business as their sales people are very deceptive and the managers seem extremely non-responsive. I will not be shopping in the store ever again.

She has a tremendous amount of product knowledge, and was able to show us various collections and explain them in great detail in order to help us find something to meet our needs. We really appreciate the kindness and attention that Ashley furniture team members gave us. Due to the expertise of Emely, we only had to make one stop to get everything we wanted and needed. Jim, the manager was also happy to help. It’s reassuring to know that there’s places that still go above and beyond for their customers. Although we are from NY, the drive to NJ was worth it. 100% recommend!

We bought a living room set and a dining room set from ASHLEY PARAMUS furniture store. They sent separately 3 or 4 times, they couldn’t solve some of problems yet. We called and open case, sofa wasn’t good, some chairs had problem, dinner tables doesn’t working properly, some parts dropped while opening, when you sit chairs sound very annoying, they changed shape easily, sofas changed shape, no one calling now, we don’t know what can we do? Even tough we bought insurance, unfortunately we are so tired😡
I wish I could give 0 stars!!! The return policy is not advertised, not mentioned during the buying process and is designed to prevent you from returning or getting credit for sub-standard products. When we received our order we found that the furniture was poorly crafted, sagging seats, torn bottoms of chairs, uneven wobbly lags, the fabric was dirty and there was permanent markings on it. When you sit on the chairs you can feel screws pressing into you. We tried multiple times to work with Ashley technicians to resolve the issue, they came and only made things worse and still weren't allowed to return it. DO NOT BUY FROM ASHLEY EVER YOU'RE BETTER OFF AT IKEA!!!!
Ordered a bed and headboard, paid for Next day delivery and assemble for $80. They just sent the headboard and left. I called to get help but it's been a week and no answer. The manager said they will call me back and still no help. Very poor service and I'm left without a bed for a week.
Great selection of home furniture. The prices are very reasonable and they offer a good range of quality and cost. The service is excellent, as they offered to show us several options and have us time to discuss and decide. this will be the second couch I've purchased from Ashely HomeStore, and definitely won't be the last.
Great customer service
110 days of headaches, frustration, time consuming emails and wasting my time on phone calls to get our mattress replaced which was a manufacturer issue. No credit refund issued to customers on reselected items which is lower price than the original. Policies change everyday and staff has customer going back and forth from store to customer service/corporate. Once you purchase the items, you walk out the store doors, the store sales rep/manager do not return your calls because you are placed in the hands of customer service which is a nightmare.

Horrible furniture paid so much for my bedroom set!!! The 2 night stand came with 2 scratches and I also order a dresser it came damage a technician came and said it I was getting a new one I called customer service multiple times and there response was we don’t have a new order In the system! They won’t refund me back my money or exchange my furniture! Please don’t buy from them they are horrible don’t waste your money! I wanted to have a new bedroom set for my husband that is currently deployed and he deserves the best. I don’t what else to do!!
I had placed an order through Ashley Furniture in store in July of 2018. Sales people were good and pleasant. The process after you leave the store is a disaster. It is now almost October of 2019 and my headboards are still not connected to the bed frames (both purchased through the store) and it is embarrassing to have guests over because of it. I made multiple attempts to set up a time to have the furniture setup but they only want to accommodate during the week and I am not taking anymore vacations days...I already took 2 for this process...1st time i took a vacation day I received part of my order from a delivery person who told me that 50 dollars for a tip wasn’t enough for 3 people...he was very rude and broke my dresser shelve in the process...I did not want to address this broken piece during the initial call he makes to the store to confirm order was ok be caused he was very aggressive and I didn’t want retaliation. I called the store afterward and they told me that I am out of luck because I didn’t mention it on the initial call (I saw this as absurd because they had sent a very aggressive person into my house and wonder why I didn’t want to say something on the phone initially). 2nd vacation day, Ironically, who do you think they sent for second delivery of the remaining items? The same people I told them made me very uncomfortable. During the subsequent call to Ashley, I told them that my furniture had not been connected (bed frame and headboard) and that the delivery person told me that they do not do that because connected those pieces is a customer responsibility...Ashley’s customer service rep. said that was incorrect and offered me an appointment once the material to connect the pieces arrives...those pieces didn’t arrive from Wisconsin until 6 months later....when I tried to make an appointment they only offered weekdays with 4 hour windows...so i’d Have to take a 3rd vacation day...I got frustrated and made subsequent calls to see if someone different would help but same story... Made initial order in July 2018 and now September 29, 2019....my pieces are still not connected... This is just a warning to anyone who needs to buy furniture...not gonna tell you where you should go, just gonna say where you shouldn’t go...I wish this experience went better, but I don’t think they have the right processes in place to address these types of issues...
Horrible customer service! Damaged my walls and doorframe upon delivery and refuse to refund any delivery charge even though the couch I ordered (that I was Assured came in 2 pieces - which it did NOT) I did not accept. Spend your time, patience, and hard earned money elsewhere!

After a frustrating encounter shopping online and getting a multi-day run around, I made a stop into this store location and was immediately assisted by Sam, who was a genuinely helpful associate. After listening to my story and explanation of what I was looking for, he and the manager set me up with the exact product, price, and delivery date I wanted with no hassle whatsoever. Sam reviewed the order with me several times to ensure that I was ordering what I wanted and so I got the assurance of my purchase. 10/10 will be recommending this store location to anyone looking to buy. They aren't there just to make money, they are there to help you make the right decision. Sam is truly a great asset on the Ashley HomeStore team.

Came to this store looking for a sofa for my new apartment and found one on sale that I loved, hearing that it would be able to be delivered to me in 3 days. When I came back later the same day, I was told it would not be a problem to ship to me, but one putting in the order, they would only ship to my home on ONE day in the entire month of both August and September, 2 weeks after moving in, and with no flexibility. My sales associate on my first visit was great, but the 2nd did nothing to try to fix the problem. Once going online to speak to customer service over the phone to ask about the reason for such late shipping, I was disconnected after the representative stated it was on sale and difficult to keep in stock. I am so disappointed and will not be shopping with this company in the future.

The furniture quality is good. Customer service and waiting times on the phone and deliveries are terrible. When you go there ask for Tayler, he is the one to help you the most and solve all the problems.

The Worst Experience ever! I almost lost my job because of Ashley. They delivered all scratched and badly assembled furniture. Ordered parts for fix it. Technician came 5 TIMES to fix to find that the parts that Ashley sent were not the ones that were requested. Tech said it happens all the time with Ashley. They provide a 4 hr time bracket for tech to arrive and dont let you know until a day before. So i had to take day off from work anyway. One time they called a day before and canceled a tech saying that the one that was scheduled is not competent enough for the type of job (why scheduling him at the first place?). So I lost another work day. Customer service is HORRIBLE. They dont have a complaint department and get a hold of manager is impossible. Left million messages for store manager to call me back- never happened. At this point 3 months later nothing is fixed and the wrong parts keep on getting delivered to my house. NEVER AGAIN will I order from them. Waste of money and personal time!
Carlos was very helpful during the process. He was very knowledgeable and offered suggestions. If he didn’t tell us that he was new we would have never guessed. My husband and I were unsure of what to get for the basement. He personally drove us to our new home and took measurements for us. I love his level of commitment. You can tell he really loves his job. I would highly recommend him.

I had the worst experience ever with an annoying girl ( karen Rapp) who was absolutely rude with me as i came to the store to pick up a piece that she could not find. If she already had a mistake she should be a good person and find solutions because i am a customer and she is not giving me anything for free. She should be working at an office far from customers .... and nice people like mirna
Not so much of a fan. The stuff appears nice but as time goes by, I am not a happy customer. Quality isn't what I expected. Wouldn't go back here to refurbish my home

They were nice and very helpful until you make a payment. Then after you make a payment seems like they don't give SXXT I bought several furnitures for new home and plan to get delivered little over a month later ( on Saturday ) few days before that Saturday they called me sofa and a rug ( to be placed under the bed ) not going to be ready until another week after. I totally understand that could happened, however what i was worried, how I am going to place the rug after bed set is already placed. I went back to the store to change the rug anything available on the day of delivery, but Mr.Tyler ( store manager) told me that I don't need to worry, because delivery guys will lift the bed and place the rug wherever I want. Today they brought sofa and rug , guys hand me the rug and telling me it is my job to do it. Someone called me from Ashley, asked reason for return so I told her what happened and she said Tyler told me wrong information . Delivery guys will not touch any furnitures other than they brought
Worst delivery service ever They made a deep scratch and made big mess on hallway ( public area ) ... then left I told them soon as I found but seems they don’t really care just kept ask me to sign the paper. I could not ask them to take furnitures back otherwise i will have to sleep on the floor until ...

Service was amazing, prices are affordable but the delivery company is the worst, not the drivers but then people behind, there's constantly an issue, either missing a part or something you bought it's not coming (after been confirmed by the store that they will have it)and they're really not in a best mood to help, all you get is :we will contact you to see when can be deliver", really? Because of the warehouse people, Im not in the mood to do business with Ashley anymore, you make your choice, mine is already made up.

I have had the worst experience I have ever had with Ashley Furniture. I was told I am not able to return my item after i have signed for it but I signed before the delivery men were able to get in contact with the supervisor. The item did not fit and I was told it would from the measurements, it was left outside my apartment upon request because there was nothing else to do. I have been on hold for an hour!!!!! Every time I contact them I am on hold for more than 30 minutes. THIS SERVICE IS AWFUL. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.
Antonio was exceptional with ideas and understanding our needs for furnishing a family room. He was very pleasant and professional. He worked hard to make sure we were happy. He was honest and did not try to sell us anything we didn’t need. Antonio made the daunting task of furniture shopping very easy at Ashley Furniture.

i bought the sleight bed white wash bed night table and chest. i was a bit concernened that this color may be more suited to females i dont like cherry finish beds but i must say its eye appealing bed and strong i have queen i would advise a good quality mattress and box spring like beauty rest plush. love the rustic look.
