Cholloy went above and beyond to help me find the bedroom set of my dreams. He was humorous and patient. I had an amazing experience with him!

If I could give zero stars I would. My wife and I spent over $8,000 on a new bed only to be treated horrifically by the staff. Beyond rude whenever we called, never could give us answers and constantly would try to send us to the corporate line rather than actually help us. The first time they delivered our bed the entire thing was ripped down the side so they had to leave. They then scheduled the second delivery and gave us a delivery window of 3pm-7pm. When the 7pm window came and went we called the store to make sure they were actually still coming. The store was once again beyond rude to us and told us they even though our window was until 7pm, they could actually come as late as 9pm but that they had no way to contact the delivery company. Seriously? The bed then showed up an hour later than the given window and the drivers tried to leave without taking our old bed and claimed they were not told that they had to take it. We had to physically show them that we paid for the haul away before they eventually took it. We will absolutely never shop at Ashley furniture again and they should be embarrassed by their staff .

Cholly, once again came through on our purchase at Ashley in Phillipsburg, NJ. We can’t wait for our new sectional! Very excited! Thank you for taking very good care of us as always.

I have had a terrible experience with Ashley’s. I bought goods from the store about two months ago. Was informed of the 3-4 weeks turnaround however till date I have not received all goods. Story time I received the first batch of goods to be precise couch it arrived stained and broken. Pictures attached. Called customer service case opened then no action was taken. Today 08/28/2025 a bed set arrived And it was broken. Had to send it back. Wish I could’ve shopped somewhere else.

If had an option to rate zero I will rate a zero. Very frustrated, I did purchase the entire house furniture for my new house but I have I the worst experience ever. First my furniture took longer than I was told during purchase. During delivery my furniture was damaged I immediately called customer service and they provided me an email to send the photos but they never replied or take an action. I called to make a follow up and customer service told they don’t handle such situations the store manager will contact me, it was end of July and we heading end of August and I have not heard from Ashley about my damage furniture. The set had nine pillows but they only delivered eight decorative pillows.My furniture was white it was stained. The delivery team was unprofessional they would not figure simple trick to get the furniture through the door. We tried to explain to them they would not listen and started breaking my door. Very shameful after my husband help them and the furniture get through the door without struggle within a second.It was delivered not covered exposing it to dust and stains. Am worried with the amount of money I spent during the purchase and the kind of treatment am receiving by Ashley very frustrating and I can’t recommend it to anyone. Very bad customer service.

Cholly was our sales associate today. He was friendly and very helpful. He mentioned financing several times and showed us how pricing worked, where to find more info on what we were looking for and answered any questions we had. He kept things lighthearted and let us shop around without being any sort of a nuisance. Selection was decent and manager was willing to negotiate a small amount on price. Overall happy with the experience.

When I called the store to see if they had a particular couch in stock, I was told they did, and if I came in the next day to order it, it would be 25% off and no tax. When I went to the store the next day, I was told that it was not on sale or tax exempt because of the price. Because I traveled an hour to get there, they honored the tax exemption and I was told it would be delivered in 2 weeks. I called for a delivery update and was told that it will not be arriving for an additional 2 weeks. There was no attempt to make any amends on this except for coming in to find another couch that is in stock. I am extremely unhappy with this level of service. I needed this couch as soon as possible, and if I thought I had to wait a month+ to get it, I would have gone else where. The customer service is less than satisfactory, and I will not be ordering from Ashley again.

Recently stopped in to Ashley Furniture to purchase a new sectional, and we were warmly greeted by Cholly. He was so kind, professional and quick to assist. We will most definitely return!

They bribe you into a 5-star review before services are complete so they can gain commission... take those reviews with a grain of salt. Do not use Ashley. The whole process from scheduling our delivery to delivery(and haul away) was a disaster and less than desirable customer service at all levels. After over 2 weeks from purchase date, I followed up with the store as to status of our items and when we can expect then to arrive at the store for delivery, only to be told “oh the items have been here”… great, missed my window of delivery that week as a result and had to wait over an additional week to finally receive mattress, base, mattress protector, pillow. The mattress was damaged upon delivery, but decided to keep the mattress protector and pillow. We sent mattress and base back (no place to store base in interim without haul away of old mattress, yet that baffled customer service). Wish we never kept the pillow from the 1st delivery because there is a 72-hour return window they refuse to budge on, even though we didn’t test it until the new mattress finally arrived AND we tried to return within 72-hours of the new mattress delivery. The second mattress delivery arrived after the 4-hour delivery window and they refused to haul away the old mattress (even though we paid for that service) until we basically had to demand they take it. Customer service says they’ll get back to us, they never do. Says they’ll look into things, never do. Avoid at all costs. Should have purchased the mattress directly from the company. Please look elsewhere for furniture and spare yourself the headache!

I was told to expect my sofa on 7/31. I voiced with sales consultant what I would need it sooner. She said she would reach out to the warehouse to see if she could expedite it and would let me know. It has been one week and have not heard from anyone. I tried to do the tracker with the website provided off of my receipt and it gave me an error message. I called the number on the receipt to be told my sofa is now expected on 8/16 and that no sales associate reached out to the warehouse. I’m disappointed and frustrated by the way everything was handled.

In-store team was amazing, very knowledgeable and helpful. Delivery experience was not stellar - terrible process, conflicting communications, multiple emails and phones calls with different points of contact, and several delays/reschedules after they had already confirmed a delivery date.

If there is an option to not to put even one star, I would have done it. Customer service doesn’t care about our issues, you would call someone, they will tell you one moment please and they keep you on the line for hours, even if the call disconnected, they won’t call you back because they don’t care. I have received a wrong package, it took me a month and half to return it and get the right item I purchased this is after 15,000 calls throughout the month with people who don’t want even to answer the calls. I had the worst experience with Ashley. I don’t like the people being unprofessional and careless.

Not only was this one of the best in-store retail experiences I ever had the pleasure of enjoying; but she also truly cares and is passionate about her work and it shows. After shopping numerous stores it was such a breath of fresh air to speak to someone who really knows their stuff and cares to listen. 10/10 would recommend anyone to this store, ask for Christianna!

Salesperson Christianna outright lied to my face on not one, but two times. First she stated a sectional we wanted was "in stock". When I pressed her for a delivery date, she had to put me on hold, then came back and said she would have to place the order first and then would get a shipping date. I again asked if it would deliver this week as the display sign stated IN WRITING, and she again said it might not be immediate but I had to place the order first. Then I asked her to match a price I saw from the "largest Ashley seller in the tristate area", and she proceeded to LIE AGAIN TO ME, stating that the material as "different". I explained to her it was exactly the same as it was an authentic Ashley Signature Seller. I even showed her proof. She then said "their" material was "inferior to her material" but could not tell me why. Then she even got the material wrong when she said "microfiber" instead of faux leather. No one wants microfiber since it is a cheap product. So I told her that and told her I don't appreciate being outright lied to on two occasions in the span of 10 minutes. DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE. NO WONDER PHYSICAL STORES ARE CLOSING THEIR DOORS. This store clearly wanted to profit OVER $2000 on one sectional since that is how much more expensive since they were than an ONLINE ASHLEY DEALER! I hope their doors close!

I was eyeing a table online for about a month. I went to the store just to see if they had it so I could see it in person. Ashley knew right away where it was and even helped us search for other chairs since the ones that come with it didn't work for me (kids and fabric chairs). Passed on the chairs but got the table and a protection plan for a great deal. I really recommend working with Ashley. She was very resourceful, knowledgeable, and laid back. I didnt feel pressured or persuaded to make a purchase.

I bought 2 rocker recliners from Ashley. I had then about 9 months and I had a problem with the one. More stuffing was needed for 1 and if you sit in it your feet don't touch the floor due to weak springs. I had a technician come and Ashley says it's normal eat and tear so it's not converted under manufacturers warranty. BUYER BEWARE......

Philipsburg store- Disappointed with the sales person at Ashley. Ordered a bed for my daughter and was told (after asking twice) if a box spring was needed. Was told no by the sales person and manger in the floor, “No”. I specifically asked because it was a a slightly different model of bed. Guess what? They were wrong! Now I need to get a box spring! Disappointed in the whole process there!

I purchased the Reveon Lakes sofa on 4/19/24, it was delivered on 5/8 and was damaged during delivery. When I noticed the damage the following morning I immediately called and Ashley furniture agreed to take back the sofa and give me a full prompt refund because I didn't feel like a repair would suffice. Also upon further inspection, I noticed a hole where the warranty pamphlet was attached to the sofa and that the sides of the sofa were merely fabric stretched over a cheap wood frame. I wanted it out of my house ASAP. They picked it up on 5/17 and I still have not received my refund check and it is July 11th. I've been given the runaround for almost two full months now and I can confidently say that I would NEVER buy furniture from Ashley Furniture again. They are selling overpriced, poorly constructed garbage and their customer service is by far the worst I've ever experienced. Go online to Costco for quality furniture, great prices, swift delivery and amazing service.

Lovely service with Ashley Rodriguez, helpful and SO nice

Enjoyed my time at the store, the associate Ashley was on top of things, very knowledgeable and passionate about genuinely getting us the right furniture for pur circumstances. Felt at ease.

The entire staff was so amazing in helping us choose and even going above and beyond to stay within our budget. They were kind, generous and made us feel welcomed. I want to give a special thanks to Ashley because we wouldn't have gotten anything together without her help.

My mother and I went in today looking for a rug and a mirror and while having a bunch of different options to choose from Josh helped us choose the perfect mirror and assisted in browsing the rug options. The associates there were all amazing, but Josh truly went above and beyond.

They started off great, but finished horrible. The furniture was much later than promised. Not a huge deal. we made it work. The last two pieces where delivered yesterday and they don't fit. The sectionals do not connect to stay together. The frame on the chase lounge cracked after three uses. They offered a repair, but who wants a repair on a cracked frame? No replacement even with a 5 year warranty. Repairs only!

i have never had a good experience here. the sales people are all uneducated and unethical with their selling practices. will not let you walk around on your own. the furniture is nothing better than you can get off amazon. nothing is solid wood but they charge like it is. when i asked if they had anything that wasn’t particle board the girl with a chest tattoo said i was welcome to go shop somewhere else to see if they had solid wood.

Do not buy furniture from Ashley in Phillipsburg New Jersey. They lie about delivery dates and never reached out to let me know that the date would be 7 weeks instead of 3-4 like I was told during purchase. In the fine it says can take up to 12 weeks so the manager says becareful people. When asked for refund the charged a 25% stocking fee for something that is still not in stock. Over 500.00 dollars they charged me to put something back in stock that they did not have. The manager would not give me back the money I put down cause he wanted me to wait until whenever the furniture came in. He said it would be in my best interest to wait for the furniture to come in because he would not refund me my money back. That's a great way to try to strong arm someone.

Sara is fabulous! She didn’t give any high pressure sales when we entered the store - which we Hate. She welcomed us, asked if we were looking for anything in particular, and then provided relevant information on the sales available, and then let us wander. After letting us wander for a bit, came back to us to see if we had questions. We did, she offered suggestions and helpful advice, and was ready with pertinent price information. And we walked out buying three separate pieces. No high pressure sales pitches, just friendly superior attention and easy personality. The store is very lucky to have Sara for she knows exactly how to help customers find what they need and want, without customers feeling pressured to buy.

If i could i would give them zero starsi would. I have bought bunch of stuff due to prices but the quality is well below standard even for the lower prices. They will sell you a warranty that will not cover much if anything and they tell you you can get money back if you dont use it and i never got my money back. When i called they told me you have to call with in 90 days to get a credit.
