After going to a multitude of different stores and franchises, we went to Ashley's Toms River location. Upon entering, we were greeted with the kindness and customer service that we thought didn't exist anymore. Kevin went above and beyond to help us make a purchase for my dad, and Juan expedited the delivery to ensure that we would receive it in time for our situation. We can't thank them both enough for all of their help, and we are so grateful to have been treated so well in the process. In addition, the delivery staff had great communication and genuinely cared about our delivery. They were prompt and kind, delivering our order with valued service and care.

We recently purchased a double recliner couch and matching chair. The salesman was very friendly and helpful without being pushy or stalking us. The price was very good, the delivery time reasonable, and the setup service well done. Half of the couch was perfect; the other half looked as though it had been made after someone had a liquid lunch. We immediately called customer service. Elyza was fabulous in walking us through the process to request a replacement. She quickly followed up my emails and helped me forward photos. About two weeks later, we received a call that a replacement was approved. Our new couch arrived yesterday. We are delighted that this issue was handled so well and so nicely. We’ll definitely shop Ashley again!

Everything was going good when I walked into the Ashley store that has been advertising a “store closing sale”. I found a few items that I looking for. So I went to finalize the purchase and was told the delivery charge for one loveseat and two bar stools was $199! Oh, then found out that the people delivering these items do not take the old furniture away!!! I went through with the sale because I am disabled and don’t get out often to make purchases like this. However, the $199 delivery charge and the fact that they won’t take the old furniture has really left a “very bad taste” in my mouth!! I felt like I was scammed. I have bought a good amount of furniture over the years and NEVER BEEN CHARGED for delivery, and never been told that the drivers cannot take my old furniture away! I just hope the items I bought are not damaged in any way, as they have “no returns, no exchanges” policy, and the floor models of the bar stools legs were wobbly. I will never buy any furniture from Ashley’s again. Also found out it is just this one store closing, not all of them.
