For our online Ashley order, I mistakenly made an order where the expected delivery window would be at a time I will not be home for several days. I called within 15 minutes of placing the order asking for a delay in shipping. I was told they would cancel the order and I could re-order when the timing was better. The following day, the online order showed that it was not cancelled and was processing. So I went through the cancellation processes for the order on their website and received confirmation they were working on the request. Two days later, I receive an email saying that the order cannot be cancelled as it is expected to ship soon. Soon being within 1-2 days based on several phone calls and using their Live Chat. I am very frustrated and confused on how an order that has not shipped cannot be cancelled. How calling within 15 minutes of placing the order for cancellation was not good enough. This experience will prevent me from considering Ashley for any future purchases and does not leave me hopeful if there is a time we need to use the Protection plan we purchased with our bedroom set a few months ago.

Finally got a delivery date and today was delivered. 2-13-24 What a mess. The salesperson victor figueroa lies to us. Never disclose that the hybrid mattress I waited for over 2 months was a mattress in a box. I would have NEVER purchased , especially what I paid for it. This was a gift for my daughter new apt. Now that she accepted delivery. With no clue it was not the correct mattress . It’s a final purchase sale with no returns. What a bait and switch move. No where on my receipt stated bed in a box, or was disclosed to me by my salesperson . I would never buy anything from Ashley again!! What a disgrace!!!!

When we pointed out the discrepancy, he happily matched the price, saying he didn’t know it was available as a dining set, and that the increased price resulted from him charging for each individual piece. We believed him at first, however, we later overheard a different associate do the same thing to another customer! Just be careful & check the online prices before over-paying by hundreds.

We placed an order for over 3500.00 and they delivered three separate orders but a dresser was missing from the order. We waited two months for them to deliver the dresser. They gave us a 15.00 gift card for their error. ALL THE CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVES DONT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE. We finally found one employee that was able to reschedule the delivery and help us get the $15 gift card. I will never buy from them again.

Shaq was an excellent sales person! He gave me the space to look around without making feel like I was being followed or harassed. This was important to me because the first time I went in there (several months ago), the associate followed me to the point where she was invading my personal space and I felt very uncomfortable. I told her that I would let her know if I needed her and she disregarded my request and continued to nearly walk on my heels. I decided to go back last week and before I went into the store I prayed that I would have a better experience. Due to Shaq's customer service skills, I did have better experience! The only reason why I am not giving this a 5 is because when the furniture arrived, it was the wrong color. At that point, I decided to go with something different. Nevertheless, kudos to Shaq for helping me change my perspective of the store!
