I am so NOT happy with the experience that I had. I purchased a hybrid mattress on December 15th. The original delivery date was January 20. Received call saying now it would be delayed. With no eta. I was unsure if I was going to choose another mattress. This was a purchase for my daughter . She chose to wait, knowing she was happy with what she picked at the union store location. Finally got a delivery date and today was delivered. 2-13-24 What a mess. The salesperson victor figueroa lies to us. Never disclose that the hybrid mattress I waited for over 2 months was a mattress in a box. I would have NEVER purchased , especially what I paid for it. This was a gift for my daughter new apt. Now that she accepted delivery. With no clue it was not the correct mattress . It’s a final purchase sale with no returns. What a bait and switch move. No where on my receipt stated bed in a box, or was disclosed to me by my salesperson . I would never buy anything from Ashley again!! What a disgrace!!!!

When we pointed out the discrepancy, he happily matched the price, saying he didn’t know it was available as a dining set, and that the increased price resulted from him charging for each individual piece. We believed him at first, however, we later overheard a different associate do the same thing to another customer! Just be careful & check the online prices before over-paying by hundreds.

They gave us a 15.00 gift card for their error. ALL THE CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVES DONT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE. Shaq was an excellent sales person! He gave me the space to look around without making feel like I was being followed or harassed. This was important to me because the first time I went in there (several months ago), the associate followed me to the point where she was invading my personal space and I felt very uncomfortable. I told her that I would let her know if I needed her and she disregarded my request and continued to nearly walk on my heels. I decided to go back last week and before I went into the store I prayed that I would have a better experience. Due to Shaq's customer service skills, I did have better experience! The only reason why I am not giving this a 5 is because when the furniture arrived, it was the wrong color. At that point, I decided to go with something different. Nevertheless, kudos to Shaq for helping me change my perspective of the store!
