Very informative, good service, no pressure

I recently moved to Ruidoso and drove down to Alamogordo to look for new furniture. The staff was amazing! They didn’t hover, but were always available to answer questions. I ended up finding exactly what I was looking for and then some. I highly recommended visiting this Ashley Outlet location if you’re in the area.

The delivery people came in, set up all the furniture, cleaned up the mess and made sure to check with me to make sure I was happy with everything.

They don’t have anything on there floor in stock you have to order it and it takes 3-6 weeks to come in and when It dose they still make you wait 4-5 for delivery. The first time I did business with them, they included the boxspring to a bed a purchased but when they delivered it they didn’t bring it and said it was a separate charge for it.

Actual purchase of chair lift recliner went OK. unfortunately the chair died within just a few months. Working with the warehouse manager - Robert for the last 4 weeks to get parts to hopefully get it working again has been a nightmare. He makes promises he doesn't keep. He says the parts have shipped or at least he supposedly has a FedEx tracking number which he won't share with me. His failed promises include a discussion last week about keeping me informed but I haven't heard from him sinc e our last phone conversation. BUYER BEWARE! IF ROBERT TREATS ALL CUSTOMERS LIKE THIS CONSIDER BUYING ELSEWHERE.

UPDATE! Mattress was replaced with one that doesn’t smell bad. THANK YOU!!! This store is awful. I spent almost $1400 on a mattress and warranty. Yes you have to purchase a warranty separately. I was not given a copy to read at the store. The mattress arrived with a horrible strong musty smell. Was told it was probably the protectant used on it and smell would be gone in a week. I called to tell them the smell is not going away and promptly received in the mail a copy of the purchased warranty. It does not cover smells of any kind. I will be purchasing my furniture elsewhere. Warranty is useless. So is the mattress.

Great customer service, they will help you find the perfect mattress and pillows for your needs. It is also a great place to walk around and just pick things out to go in your home.

My experiences with them have been horrible I bought a chime mattress that was supposedly 10 in it ended up being 8 in it's not very good I bought a sofa set from them for $1,500 and then add the text to that and delivery it's not that great then I bought two

Lady with long hair and cardigan was very rude and not let us shop 👎🏽

I’m not happy. The purchase and delivery was fine. The recliner that was delivered was lopsided and forced the user to slide to the side. The chair was delivered on July 5th and I called customer service a couple of days later. It is nearly October and have yet to get help with the issue. Through a text I was informed that when a tech comes to Albuquerque, he will repair the frame. No one can tell me when that will happen. I went back to the store and was told by a manager that he would get me some help w/I hours. That was August 31st. Again , no action. I have texted him last week and asked to have the chair replaced. Silence. I am ill and need the chair to sleep. I’m not getting as comfortable sleep as I need when I find myself in the corner of the chair. I would NOT recommend Ashley to a friend!

The two young gentlemen that came to my house had a huge job, doors small , furniture to large for the turns in this house, I want to commend Patrick and Jason they did a stupendous job,, with no grumbling,, they got 5 stars and a great tip from me,, you have two great workers in these two men,,, sincerely deb Delaney

Recently my husband and I bought a new sofa. Its actually more than a sofa. It has two Chaises and plenty of space to sit. You see Ashley's furniture being a bit higher. A 100 or 200. Come on. This is the meaning of; you pay for what you get. I purchased an extra 5 yrs warranty. Know one's gonna tell me I can't. Because i will. If you purchase the extra warranty. You're in control. I've given three sectionals away in the past year. Because i didn't do that. We went to Ashley's in Alamogordo. Renea was perfection. She knows her furniture and she knows her rules. She was kind and fun. We went all over that store. She was fantastic. But she found what i wanted. Then when delivery came. The young men were phenomenal. They were professional. I Asked them to put trash bags on over their boots because of the mud. . No problem. They were very Professional.. very very professional .The place was very clean and the decor was beautiful. This manager can be very proud of her staff. Renea and the boys delivering. FANTASTIC. I GIVE THEM HUGE 5. HUGE FIVE. If you want trash furniture, go somewhere else. Because this furniture is the best.

Renee is absolutely fabulous, my husband and I were so lucky to have had the pleasure of meeting her and working with her to buy our new couch. She was so helpful and incredibly informative about deals, financing options, etc. she’s absolutely wonderful and she was so patient with us since it was our first time purchasing and financing furniture. I highly recommend her if you have any questions or concerns about anything. I’ll definitely be seeing her again in the future!

Great and friendly staff! Not pushy. Renee helped me with purchasing my mattress, power base, and couch. She was very professional and well informed! Prices are a little steep but I am a cheapskate soo don’t take me word for it lol

I had a pleasant experience purchasing my sectional that wasn’t at their physical store, as they ensured me they could get whatever I found online. The sales associates were very nice. But once it finally arrived, it was not what I was expecting. They were quick to mention their “all sales are final” that’s printed boldly on the invoice, and quickly wiped their hands clean of the situation. My sectionals chaise was on the wrong side; not at all what I remember discussing with the sales associate. However, to fix their error, they would have charged me a 15% restocking fee, and for a sectional nearly $2000 that’s not cheap. I’m not sure if all Ashley’s stores operate in this manner, but this stores’ policy was obviously created in a way to maximize their profits while limiting any and all liabilities…meanwhile the customer may not always get what they paid for. Go somewhere else. It’s not worth the gamble.

Do your shopping elsewhere. You can find the same furniture online for cheaper. They show items at a “discounted” price, but that discounted price is still more expensive than online retailers. I was also told that when our mattress arrived they would remove our old mattress and box spring. On delivery day, they stated it would be an additional $50 fee to dispose of the old mattress and box spring. Shady sales tactics all around.

I absolutely loved this store! The ladies working there were incredibly helpful, the store was very clean and organized, and there was a wide variety of furniture to choose from!

Like the furniture in the store, staff is friendly and helpful. Prices seem to be high. I have ordered their furniture from Amazon for much lower prices, for the same items.
