I ordered furniture from Ashley Furniture Home Store about 4–5 weeks ago. Last week, Ashley called me about scheduling delivery. I missed the call, but they left a voicemail and sent a text. I responded to the text the same day, asking if delivery could be pushed one additional week due to travel and ongoing work in my home. The text response explicitly agreed to this. When I called back the following week to finalize delivery, I was suddenly told my order isn’t ready and is now 6–7 weeks out. Let’s be clear: this is not a minor delay. This suggests my items were reallocated to another customer the moment I didn’t immediately schedule delivery—despite Ashley knowing full well that delivery windows can conflict with travel or home projects. I specifically mentioned this when ordering and was told by the store manager that I could wait up to four months for delivery. Apparently, “four months” actually meant four days before my order was given away. This feels like a bait-and-switch inventory practice, not a supply chain issue. If items are at risk of being reassigned, customers should be told that upfront. Otherwise, honoring written communication (texts) should be the bare minimum. Extremely disappointed and would not recommend unless you are ready to accept delivery immediately—or risk starting over at the back of the line.

A $1,400 Masterclass in Corporate Incompetence Don't let the friendly sales staff fool you. They are the "bait" in a classic bait-and-switch operation. Once I handed over $1,463.69 (SO #041J963617), I ceased to be a customer and became the target of their broken logistics and nonsensical bureaucracy. The "No-Chair" Holiday I was promised a full dining set by 12/19/25. Instead, I got a table and a series of lies. I spent months calling them every single week because they couldn't be bothered to update me on why my chairs were missing. They finally crawled through the door on 02/11/26—nearly three months late—and one was arrived broken and defective. Weaponized Inefficiency This is where the "service" becomes a circus. I told them I didn't need a technician—I just needed the part. Their response? "If you don't take the tech, it’ll be another week delay." They literally held my repair hostage to satisfy a pointless internal process. Did I mention that I have to do this through text messaging only. I'm a tech-savvy elder-millennial, but seeing the grammatic slop thrown back at me made me question if someone can actually help. Then came the logistics failure: They shipped the replacement parts (FedEx 495139408944) to themselves at their distribution center instead of my house. They told me the technician would bring the parts with him. The poor technician—who was actually professional—showed up and asked me where the parts were because the company never gave them to him. The Nightmare Continues After all that, they finally "ordered" the parts again, only to contact me today intending to ship the wrong items. Verdict: This company is a vertically integrated dumpster-fire that is ripe for an acquisition. They force you into "technician visits" you don't need, fail to provide those technicians with the tools to work, and then try to ship you the wrong inventory to fix their own mistakes. Avoid this place unless you want to spend your free time managing a company that already stole $1,400 from you.

Great selection of furniture, and it is SO nice to be able to sit on a real sofa and touch the fabric vs. ordering on line. Really made me feel more confident in purchasing large ticket items. Salesman Jaime Membreno was just perfect for me. Quiet and soft spoken, but very knowledgeable and helpful. We talked, measured, talked, walked around the store some more, and then when I asked him to let me think, he walked away and gave me the space I needed. Excellent. Furniture was delivered on time and installed by Bayardo and Anthony. They are fast! The level of communication from Ashley on the delivery process is fantastic! An excellent experience from start to finish. Thank you!
