Corbin (I think that’s his name) was our salesman. Very 1970s used car salesman vibe. He did the typical sales tactics, “I have to check with my manager,” “this price is only good for today,” and “why the hesitation” were all thrown in. I told him that I do not borrow money or use credit, and he still pushed financing and leasing the couch a lot. I asked him for a pamphlet on the extended warranty and his response was, “I’ll get it to you with the paperwork as you’re heading out.” My guess is that he didn’t want me to see how useless it is for $550 extra. (Btw you have to pay an additional $60-200 charge in order to activate it from the third party warranty company and an additional charge to actually use it.) Once I asked him to remove the warranty, he seemed perturbed, and standoffish. He ordered the wrong color on one of my sectional pieces. I’m not sure I’if this was intentional for cutting into his margin, incompetence, or a genuine mistake. In any case, there’s an additional 3 week wait for them to fix the mistake. The delivery guys were great. They were respectful of my home, friendly, and worked quickly. The couch is great. I hope it lasts a long time. I don’t think I am going to buy from here again. I will probably go in to find what I want and just order it online, unless the salesman can give a lower price.

In store experience was great. Our salesman, Garrett, seemed to be great and let us know he would personally call us when our new sectional came in and made it feel like a very personal experience but then when it came down to it, it took 2 months for our sectional to come in instead of the 2 weeks we were told. We couldn't hardly get ahold of our salesman and every person we talked to had a different story. Every week we were told it was being delivered that Friday so we would adjust our schedule to be able to pick it up, only for it not to show. We would get told they would call us back only to receive no call and have to call them again a couple days later to follow up. The experience was very frustrating, communication lacked from the store and we will not be purchasing another item from Ashley Furniture in Farmington.

Corbin was a great salesman to work with. My main disappointment is with the delivery system. I was given a date of 3/20 for delivery and then the day before I receive a message saying that my new table is delayed by 2 weeks. I found this to be very disappointing. The delivery of the chairs and bench went ok once the driver adjusted the chairs to remove the wobble. One chair had to be sent back as it was damaged.
