Just wanted to share my experience with this Ashley Furniture location My sales ladie was amazing Esmelay Mendoza she was kind an so patient with us. But the store Manager truly came through and was absolutely Amazing and kind, Mr. Omar Flores Thank you, so much again. Will be doing business with them again!!

All the staff very friendly and helpful.

Omar Flores and Esmelay Mendoza were very nice! They took their time to help us, we picked out what we wanted and they made sure to take care of us in every way! We don’t usually leave review but me and my mother appreciated them. Very helpful! I would ask for them!

Isaiah was great, helped me as soon as i walked in and i walked away with a great couch ! The only reason i gave 4 stars is because i was originally quoted a price of around $500 and then was told the price was actually around $900. Definitely sucked cause that was more than I was hoping to pay but Isaiah was very sincere in apologizing for his mistake and if that wasn’t the case I probably wouldn’t have continued with the purchase. Overall a good experience , Isaiah and Dre helped a lot !

I saw a dining table I loved in Lubbock Ashley…they had sold theirs (it was waiting pickup), so I called Hobbs to see if they had it. They had it in stock and the sales gal sent me a couple pictures. Their price was much higher than Lubbock and at first they didn’t want to match the price of the Lubbock store. I called Lubbock and the manager called the Hobbs manager and she agreed to match the price, so I was grateful. I paid online…it was delivered fine a few days later. This table was the last one they had and was a discontinued table. Sadly, the two sides with and without the butterfly leaf don’t line up correctly and it’s really obvious. Terribly flawed. The chairs were also dirty. I vacuumed and cleaned the chairs, but I have no idea how to fix the table’s poor quality. Super sad. I really love the table…the one in Lubbock I touched, sat at, crawled under, etc. and it lined up fine. I assumed the table in Hobbs would be the same. I should not have trusted it, I should have gone and looked at it. I’m sad the sales person didn’t point it out to me.

I went to look at bedroom furniture and mattress. After deciding to just get the mattress, the deal was adjusted with the store manager. Then the saleswoman comes over as says she changed the mattress type and mattress base without coming to me. I definitely wasn't happy about this after having a deal made. So I left.

I wish it would let me post without stars at all. This is the worst place I have bought furniture from in 30 years!! Never buy here. Not even in emergency need it now type situation! They will screw you around! I paid cash and got a check when they messed up my order! They refused to take back an item I didn't use and picked up myself!!! This is the worst place to do business!!!! DON'T BUY HERE THEY ARE TERRIBLE!!! Let me add that the store in Hobbs NM with Omar (management) and Cynthia was the WORST customer experience EVER! He pushed me off onto her when he realized how badly I needed the bed. She never helped me at all in fact messed my order up. And disappeared when I went back to have it corrected. Omar was rude about fixing my order. Horrible horrible customer service. NEVER GO HERE!!

A little disappointed. I got home and looked on line prices were much cheaper. I called the sales person she said they do price match but I have to wait till friday to talk to manager. So will be calling Manager Friday and hope it gets fixed.

We bought a bedroom suit from Ashley. The one recieved was total different color than the one in the store. They said the sun must have faded the one in the store. We actually took a piece of furniture up there and showed them it wasn't even the same color. I watched one of the managers roll her eyes at my husband when he turned his back. Just showed how much they Respect their customers!! Then after multiple phone calls from us it was apparent this problem was not going to be resolved by Ashley. We stained the furniture ourselves after spending $1000's on a new bedroom set. I sure wish the old owners were there. The new owners will not stand behind their products!!

I ended up choosing the payment plan that was going to be $59/mo for 1.5 years. After signing the contract the sales rep then told me “oohhh I forgot you are differed interest, that paper and payment plant you selected doesn’t mean anything. Your payment might just be a little higher than what we selected.” Well my first bill showed up saying I owe $100/mo for 3 years. That is double the price for twice as long! So after speaking with the store manager her response was “it was explained to you that you were differed interest, there’s nothing I can do” and I explained to her that all I was told, prior to signing the contract, was that my interest would accrue immediately, there wouldn’t be any “same as cash” grace period and that nothing was mentioned about my payment being hire or for a longer time frame than we had discussed. I then told the store manager that due to the misleading on their behalf, I would like to return my furniture at which point the store manager said they do not do returns. This team is a bunch of thieves! They knew full well what they were doing the entire time! I have reported this incident to the Better Business Bureau. STEER CLEAR!

BUT - they proceeded to take the headboard and put it in front of the closet and place the LED light hookups in a box on the dresser. Then they just left. And Ashley’s is refusing to refund my money because they’re going to send someone by to “fix it” in a few days. As though I could leave a headboard that can fall on people just leaned against a closet I need to get into. 🤦🏼‍♀️

This is an update for my previous three star review. Ashley is now a one star. Still have not been contacted by their tech to fix a broken door on the media cabinet delivered three week ago. Contacted the customer service department and they said a ticket was created. I, apparently, am not important enough for them to at least give me the courtesy of a phone call. Plus, the other half of my furniture has been delayed for delivery until July. I can cancel the order but it will cost a 10% fee. Do not use Ashley for your furniture needs. Order it online through Amazon. They have better connections for shipping than Ashley. You may need to do some assembly but it is less expensive and faster. That is how I have furnished other rooms in the house. If I could give Ashley less than one star I would.

Placed order on Friday and payed said I had 3 days to pick up items. No biggie came back Saturday and said they can not release my furniture because they’re financing department has a hod on it which this was payed for on the spot. Asked what was going on and nobody could give me a answer ask what happens if they can’t release it by my 3 day mark was told by Erica the “manager” I’ll cancel the order

The delivery guys were good, but one of the pieces was damaged. I requested a tech to fix the damaged door on the media cabinet. It has been a week and nobody from Ashley has reached out to me. I tried calling the local store and was put on hold forever. I called the 800 number and they told me to call the local store. Very frustrating!

Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had dealing with any business my entire life. Placed furniture order in January 2021. In February 2022 was finally able to convince the store in Hobbs NM to cancel the remainder of my order since we still had not received it. When we originally purchased the furniture we used their 0% interest 12 month financing program. In addition to the 0% interest a free tv was included in their promotion. I was told that the TV could not be delivered until I had received all the furniture. (ha ha). As I agreed, I paid the original order in full within the 12 months timeline. To whomever the problem solver is at Ashley Furniture- My third ticket number is 601943. Please send me my $2544.28. plus interest. Thank you. p.s. one star because it does not allow a zero.

This was my first time shopping at Ashley furniture and it was a wonderful experience because of Dre, and Hector Navarette. Hector was exceptional, very kind, advantageous, a very hard worker, very knowledgeable, and very, very patient , this guy was all over the place, back and forth, here and there, just a wonderful salesman, we couldn’t make up our minds, we needed a tape measure, he went and got it, we needed sofas plugged in, he went and found a battery pack and made sofas recline, he could tell we were thirsty and there was, Hector bringing us water, I think I sat on almost every sofa and recliner there was, I changed my mind a 100 times but it didn’t bother Hector he just smiled and gave us our time and space to make decisions, we ended up purchasing two power recliners and a plush sofa, and Hector matched the online prices and gave us a discount, can you believe that, I walked out of Ashley feeling like I got an awesome deal. I purchased several furniture pieces from Ashley Furniture. The queen bed which I purchased for my bedroom had the footboard break and the entire bed collapsed. I have been calling Ashley Furniture customer service since it is still under warranty for over a month now trying to get a technician out to my house to fix it with no luck. Every time I call, which has been more than 10 times now, someone tells me a technician will be in touch within 48 hours and one customer service representative even told me a service technician was scheduled to come today but no one ever came or called. My bench to my vanity also snapped a leg this morning and my bed has many chips where the bed collapsed and my son’s dresser also has a large chip in it. It is incredibly frustrating how many times I have tried to get a technician here to fix these issues, all of the furniture pieces are still under warranty, but because of the lack of customer service I doubt I will ever purchase from Ashley Furniture ever again. The furniture is cheap, will take forever to come in once ordered and will break or fall apart after just a few months. Update on this issue: The manager is refusing to fix the footboard to my bed even though have purchased over $10,000 worth of furniture from Ashley over the last 5 years and despite purchasing the Purple Cow protection for all my furniture which is seemingly useless. I will never purchase from Ashley Furniture ever again. They do not care about their customers at all and have poor quality and customer service.

We came in to Ashley’s to look for a bed and we received the most beautiful customer service from Gilbert. He went above and beyond like we have never experienced. He was very knowledgeable and professional. Definitely coming back to see him in Hobbs. I was in the area visiting from Arlington Tx.

Ordered furniture in March, was able to cancel my 2,000 after contacting someone from another branch (Hobbs refused refunds) 5 months after not receiving my furniture. Refund should take between 4-6 weeks, now at 8 weeks they have the refund processed in their system, they just don't know where the check is. Ordered here because my mom recieved her furniture in 3 weeks. I recieved various other pieces within a month of the initial order. However waiting on the couches and refund method has already reached the 9 month mark all together. I will definitely go to walmart or big lots where they don't advertise furniture they no longer have at a warehouse.

We were greeted at the door, explained a few promotions going on, asked what we were looking for and explained the ordering process if they didn’t have what we wanted on the floor. Randy was our sales man. He gave us some space and let us decide! He was so very helpful and informative on the whole process! While we waited on paperwork Gilbert gave us a tutorial of the bed technology and we fell in love with it! Although we decided to wait on that purchase he was very friendly and explained our options for when we do decide to buy. Very personable guys, and probably our best furniture buying experience!!!

Went to Ashleys looking to buy a mattress, my sales person was Jessica Sanchez, very nice lady I'm very pleased with her, by the time I went back to the office to sign paperwork, she had everything ready.

This was the best buying experience ever. I bought the Ashley Warnerton recliner, sofa and loveseat. All are dual power so no electric cords to trip over or worry about toddlers messing with. My sales person was Zulema and was so helpful. I am so extremely happy with this furniture. I am a chiropractor and I have recommended beds to help bad backs for years saying we spend 1/3 of our lives in them. I totally missed the boat on furniture. You will spend probably 1/3 of your life sitting or reclining in your home and I think now after sitting in the Warnerton furniture I am convinced the furniture you sit in may just have more of an effect good or bad on your spine than your bed. This is to me the most spine supportive furniture I have ever experienced. Thank you Ashley Furniture!!

We purchased a bedroom suite for our daughter that was moving into her new house for college on May 24, 2021. It is now August 11, 2021 and have been informed that it will be October before the order is filled. I have called multiple times and have been hung up on every time. No one can seem to help me. Melissa called with the VIP group and I was unable to take the call at the time when I called back customer service said they couldn't transfer me to her or to the group and I could email the company. Who does business like this? I will never buy from this company again and all I want is my money back so my daughter will have some furniture before October.

We ordered a new bed for our 14 year son. No big deal seeing as how he has a bed but we wanted to surprise him with a bigger, new one. We were told it would be 2 weeks. That was mid May.. here it is August and I have only had one call from them saying we would get our delivery in a week... that was 2 weeks ago. If we had known it was going to take so long to get, we would have shopped around, even Big Lots had beds in stock. We will not buy from Ashley again.

We ordered a mattress and it has taken twice as long to get it as we were told. We got this July 2 and still don't have it. Middle of August, they say. Hope so. If we had known it was going to take this long we would have gone somewhere else. We are not happy.

Takes too long to receive furniture and customer service could be a lot better! I ordered a Recliner, sectional, and ottoman on January 4th, 2021. I was told it would take 4-6 weeks to receive. I received the recliner February 5th, 2021. The delivery guys dropped the recliner off in my house and got me to sign something and left. I noticed a stain on the recliner arm and I called them and he rejected my call after we had just spoken on the phone about their arrival. I was able to get some of the stain out after 2 attempts. I was then told the sectional and ottoman would arrive the last week of February. I called the last week of February and was informed the sectional wasn’t going to arrive until March 31st. If I would’ve known it would take 3 months to receive my furniture I would’ve went somewhere else. The customer service line is almost impossible to reach someone. I’ve stayed on the phone for hours at a time before reaching anyone. So far we like the recliner we’ve received despite the stain. I can’t give a review for the sectional and ottoman because we haven’t received it yet after 2 plus months of waiting.

So we called and it had been pushed back to December 13.. then December 29.. then January 4.. then January 19.. then January 29. We were trying to be understanding due to covid and the postal services being overwhelmed. We called today (January 30th) and we were told that the couch we ordered was out of stock and would not be shipped until MARCH or APRIL. We never received any calls to let us know about any of this. We were always the ones who had to call. We will NEVER be ordering from Ashley again.

I wish i can put 0 stars be carefully when you buy things. I buy a couch on December i come to pick up and they sell it to someone else. Now i have to wait to March and they don't retur my money complete they whan 25% of my purchases. Carefull here!!!!

Very pleasant,quick, easy going experience. Didn't feel like I just left a car lot. Walked in, told them what I was looking for, found it and made my purchase. Will def shop there again. Thanks Barbara R.

Went shopping at Ashley furniture in Hobbs, NM. I must say Cynthia and Caden we of great help. I got exactly what I wanted and am extremely happy with my purchases. Thank you Barbara R for following up on my shopping experience. I will definitely be back!!

Customer Service is horrible here. The only sales associate willing to help is Randy, all others ignore you or brush you away at the counter. My mother and I came in to inquire about an instore credit she received. She placed a $13k order back in September 2020, and as of January 2021, she hasn’t received anything. She is still waiting...when we called for status, to make up for the Delay, the associate gave her $1000, the least the can do after a $13k purchase. However upon going to the store to claim it, the associate at the counter wasn’t interested in providing us with any service. We were ignored and when we tried to ask questions when we finally got her attention, we were brushed off. No customer courtesy, no attentive service, no friendly smile, no service. She made us feel as if we were interrupting her day.

Ashley’s had great Customer service and I’m extremely happy with the Couches that I bought. I bought all leather 3 piece set and they are great quality. I definitely recommend Ashley’s in Hobbs (Barbara R).
