I am very disappointed with Ashley Furniture in Santa Fe, NM. As someone with muscular dystrophy, I rely on accessible furniture to maintain my independence and safety at home. I live with my daughter, and due to my condition, getting out of our living room chair and hassock has caused me to fall several times. To improve my quality of life, my daughter purchased a Power Lifting Recliner from Ashley Furniture as a birthday gift. Unfortunately, the recliner arrived in unacceptable condition. The box was crumpled upon arrival, and the plastic tag fastener had been cut, removing the Ashley tag and instructions that should have been included. Upon inspection, there were large stains on both the seat and back of the recliner. These stains were still wet, suggesting that someone had attempted to clean them before delivery but was unsuccessful. Additionally, I noticed a defect in the fabric on the footrest, further indicating that the recliner had been previously used and likely to have been returned. To resolve this issue Ashley Furniture sent a technician to try and remove the stains. However, it was clear that attempts to clean the recliner had already been made prior to its arrival. Despite the evident issues and my concerns, Ashley Furniture has not made any effort to replace the recliner as I believe they should. Given the condition of the product received, I feel that Ashley Furniture needs to take responsibility and replace the recliner. Their lack of response and action has left me extremely disappointed.

⭐☆☆☆☆ (1 star) I had a very disappointing experience at the Ashley Furniture store after years of being a customer. I went into the store to purchase a mattress that was clearly marked as clearance. I worked with a salesperson, found one we liked, and completed the purchase. Before leaving, I specifically asked the store manager how long I had to pick it up, and I was told 72 hours. I said that was fine and that I would return the next morning. The next morning, I received a call asking when I would be picking up the mattress. I told them I would be there later that afternoon, and they said that was fine. Later that same afternoon, I received another call from the store manager saying they were not going to be able to sell me the mattress because it was “not available.” I still went to the store to speak with the manager in person. When I arrived, the mattress was still sitting in the same spot it was when I purchased it. I told the manager I was there to pick it up, and he again said it was not available and claimed it was a “mistake.” To make matters worse, the salesperson who sold it to me was sitting right next to him and then said they could sell me the exact same mattress for full price. That is completely unacceptable. You cannot sell a clearance item, take payment, confirm a pickup window, and then suddenly refuse to honor the sale while trying to upsell the same item at full price. After spending several thousand dollars at Ashley Furniture over the years, this experience with both the manager and salesperson left a very bad impression. I will not be returning, and I will not recommend this store to anyone.

I will never go back to this store. No phone number to call and check on order. Customer service is outsourced and horrible. Reporting to BBB. I will be contacting my credit card company to dispute the charges since I can't reach anybody to cancel my order. Your store is horrible I'll never ever come in there again and I'll make sure everybody I know does not to go in there

This place turn into problems after problems waited a month to get a couch which it wasn't the right one after closing a deal with another couch she keeps trying to convince me to do payment plan ig that there Motto to wait and deliver wrong couch won't go back for the one I want cause turn into another problem all I can say is the delivery guys where nice
