Ashley Store Amherst, NY

Please do not buy furniture from Ashley! We bought a $5,000 couch from Jordan at the Orchard Park location. After a month the couch’s fabric started to deteriorating.. we contacted Jordan and he promised to take care of it. It is over a year later and we still have not gotten help.. we even bought the warranty on the couch. Worst purchase of my whole life. Jordan was promoted and now at the Amherst location. Won’t return my call, he got his commission and moved on. Awful company. Awful service. I’m so beyond disappointed.

Both the saleswoman and manager have been extremely helpful with the entire buying process as we navigate date changes during the closing on our house. They were even able to accommodate a delivery date outside of the norm to assist us. The text feature when you need ANY type of help or answers is fast and you actually speak to a live worker immediately. Thanks for everything!

We were looking for a kids bedroom set and didn’t like much until we came here. Nice quality pieces and the perfect one for our daughter’s first bedroom set. Jordan was very accommodating and easy to work with. Very responsive.

Willie provided amazing customer service and treated me as though I was buying a whole living room set when I just needed a couple of quick items from the Clearance section for an empty apartment while awaiting my cross country movers. He was so kind and helpful. I got the most beautiful comfy swivel chair and rug from the Clearance section. Top notch service. Thank you Willie!

I purchased a new Ashley mattress during their Labor Day sale, paid in full and was told my mattress would take about a month to arrive due to high volume of sales, I agreed that was fine and I understand that delivery’s take awhile to catch up with high sale volume. On September 22 they sent me a text and said my mattress was not available due to factory not having anymore in stock and the mattress would not be available till mid November, frustrated I demanded my money back and I will never do business with Ashley furniture and mattress ever again!

This is my second purchase at Ashley’s. I was pleased with my purchase of a new bed last year and now with a need of a new couch, they didn’t disappoint. My salesman Willie was helpful, patient and friendly.

Everything was done very well, from the moment I stepped into the store to the day of delivery. Amy was patient as she worked to accommodate my special needs in picking out a quality recliner. Financing was a bit tricky but we worked our way through it and chose the best option for me. Plus, the delivery guys were very friendly and actually showed up before the estimated time of arrival, which was the first time I ever had that happen by anyone for anything!

Whenever we need furniture we always shop around and ALWAYS end up back at Ashley. I love being able to walk around the store, try things out to see how comfy they are and how big each item is in real life. Today we came in shopping for a mattress and ended up walking out with an amazing bed frame and a good deal on financing, delivery and mattress removal. Sales associates are super helpful but today we worked with Trish Schultz who was so friendly, real, and funny. I felt like I was shopping around with a friend. Between her and the store manager who helped us with delivery options, they made the process easy and fun…who can say that about mattress shopping?!

Had an issue with my bed rails not being delivered by the moving company and they took care of me and I was able tonorder new ones.

Listen to me when I say, GO SEE JAKE! He made things seamless, easy, set proper expectations, fast delivery, and everything in between. We were looking for a sofa for my daughter’s first apartment and were lucky enough to be greeted by Chris when we entered Ashley. He was extremely patient with us and was very helpful in helping us find a sofa that would go around some narrow stair corners and still fit within our budget. Will definitely return to Ashley for future furniture purchases!

Out of all of the furniture stores that I myself ventured to or my Daughter and Son in law and I have been to within this week, which included Lake Effect Cheektowaga Store on Union Road, Raymour and Flanagans Cheektowaga on Walden Avenue, Raymour & Flanagans at the Eastern Hills Mall and Bob's Discount on Niagara Falls Boulevard and last but not least, Ashley Furniture on Alberta Drive, I found that Ashley's scored the Best in Prices, the Best in Customer Service, and Even the Best with Discounts and working things out so they work for the Customer. Both Raymour & Flanagans and Lake Effect basically gave no discounts when asked. Lake Effect simply said that their prices were already discounted (which they certainly were not) and Raymour & Flanagans would only give a small discount on a very limited selection which had to be a certain color tag. When I went into Ashley's on Alberta Drive in Amherst, I noticed that quite a few of the sectional couches that I like had 1/2 way decent prices on them. These were there regular prices which beat the other stores "so called discounted prices" I had a Newer Sales Employee come to help me by the name of Collin, he took his time, showed me what I told him I was looking for, yet gave me the space I needed to think things over. After looking at the sectional couches and prices from the other stores which I had all saved on my phone, and comparing them to what was here at Ashley's and their pricing, I picked my Favorite out of them all. Collin and Burt Fatta (the Assistant General Manager) helped me to get the Best Financing that was Available for Me, and gave me a Great Discount that fit my Budget. So I got the Sectional Couch I wanted, with a Fantastic Discount off of the already Fair Price, and Terrific Financing. Burt Fatta was absolutely 100% Fantastic at Customer Service and doing what ever he could to make Me Happy with a Successful Sale. Thank You Burt and Collin.

We've done a lot of business with Ashley and have no complaints, it's not like a used car lot with land sharks waiting to pounce. There's someone at the door who greets you points you in the right direction and let's you take your time shopping.

Mattress Salesmen over aggressive. No care for customer need. Clearly prioritizing sale over customer experience. Over promised on mattress delivery, around a week. I was looking for a lift chair for my husband. After looking at several stores I decided to look at Ashley. I was helped by friendly sales associates each time I came to the store Today I decided on the chair that I think will be a good fit. Willie Johnson was the sales associate that helped me through the process. He was as very helpful and was able to get all of my questions answered.

We went to many places looking for the right size console table. All the others only had very large ones. We needed a small one for the space. Ashley had exactly what we were looking for. They were very helpful and pleasant to work with. They understood not every home has excessively large rooms- but if you have one, they’ll have what you need!

Philip was amazing and went out of his was to make sure we were taken care of. He had us draw out the space we were shopping for when we couldn't find a photo just to make sure he was helping us to the best of his ability. He was extremely accommodating and made sure to inform us on any available promotions or bundle deals, which allowed us to buy additional pieces without breaking the bank. Was greeted upon arrival of the store by Cameron Ford, who directed us to the sofa section of the store. We were under no pressure by Cameron to any particular brand or style of sofa, but showed us the type we were looking for. The application for credit was simple and easy to complete and we were approved in less than 2 minutes. We lucked out on the delivery schedule, which is supposed to be next Tuesday, the 17th. Highly recommend Ashley furniture in Amherst NY.

When I first visited, Jake told me a price for a beauty rest mattress. When I returned to purchase it, he said it was more. I was a little surprised, but he then showed me another that I liked better, that was the cost I had been originally quoted. Just a mistake, but it turned out very well.

My husband and I went in, hoping to look at a few pieces we found online. Jake immediately treated us at the door, and was so helpful! Some of the items we were interested in were not available in store, but Jake was able to show us something similar. When it came time to get pricing, he gave us a great deal, beating the online sale price! Despite us having two small children, treating the store as their own personal castle- the staff was really awesome and made our checkout fast and simple. Overall, great experience. When we arrived we saw a bed we loved. But Phil showed us many more before we decided on the first one. He was very patient with us as we aren't very quick with decisions. Max is a pleasure to work with. The missing star is because of the KIOSK. It has to go. Typing with my arms up was painful. (Need surgery) The touch screen is not sensitive, had to almost pound on the screen. Space key especially was bad. An I pad or keyboard on a desk would be much more user friendly.

The sales guy his name is Willie great guy got us the best deal and very honest. One issue , closing the deal Willie had to go back and take a picture , so parched, I had asked the girl next to his desk not doing anything no customers with her , so I asked if I can get some water and she told me to get it in the front of store. First of all it’s a maze in there, fearing I wouldn’t be able to find my way back . I myself being in customer service would do anything to make the customers happy, of course unless you are rude to me ! Not at Ashley..Skin color medium brown and long long hair.

Great service! I was nervous to come back as my last experience was not too great, but they definitely made up for it. I believe Ray was the gentlemen who took care of us. He let us do our thing in the store, didn't hover, but was there for any questions. Made the process very easy and was pleasant to work with. Delivery was fast and efficient. They got there nice and early, and were in and out in under 45 minutes! Very satisfied this time around.

I love the bed we got and it will look amazing in my new place. I just wish there were more lower to the floor beds available so my dog can't get under the bed there was only 4 options and I didn't quite like them.

Awesome experience

I asked for a specific mattress and was told they didn't carry it. The staff tried hard to sell their most expensive mattresses. I refused because of $$$. They finally showed me the mattresses i originally requested! I bought it. Later reseach showed it was not the green tea foam mattress I was shopping for. I really dislike the runaround and dishonesty. I might have gotten a better deal elsewhere but I gave in to a pretty high pressure sales guy. I purchased a 10 in memory foam mattress made by Ashley. I wanted firm. The mattress i received is not as firm as the showroom mattress. BTW their warranty is only on mattresses that sell for more than $1000 (sales staff told me this) . I wouldn't recommend shopping for mattresses here.

We had a nice experience here. No pressure or hovering from Cam, our sales person. He answered all of our questions and made the experience great.

The delivery team was very rough with bringing in the mattress that I purchased. They didnt ask for things to move anything and dragged the mattress across our laminate floor, knocked off the wreath on the door and dragged the doormat through the house. The experience in the storenot so great. the salesman was able to help find the right mattress. However I was mislead and initially the shipping wasnt taken off which was fixed later by the store manager. When I called the store before speaking to the store manger, the manager on duty left me on hold for an hour while they went to lunch. I had spoken to the store manager about being on hold and they stated that they had removed the delivery fee, and apologized. However, when the salesman approached me with a better offer on the mattress he said that i would only be able to do that if I got a new Ashely Credit card with TD Bank vs the Ashley card that i have already through Syncrity Bank. I had told the associtate that I had just applied for a credit card a few days before which is why I was denied. Either way I already had established credit with Ashley and ended up using the card I already had. So I had an offer dangled in front of me just so a salesman could get an additonal new sign up for a credit card. If I was able to use my card any way I should have gotten the better offer with a better rate. Needless to say I will not I will not recommend this store or Ashley to someone else. If I could I would give an average of 0 stars.

over $3000 couch material pils and already needed maintenance. when they came, they said most of these types are faulty.

The prices of the items we were looking at in store were higher than what they were listed on Ashley's own website. Would strongly encourage shoppers to review online prices prior to finalizing any deals within the store. You will also find the same items cheaper from online stores. Like anything, you need to determine if there are any issues in the future, if you would rather deal with an online retailer or a local store. The online retailers also do not offer the "white glove" delivery service which includes the furniture being put together and delivered into your home, as opposed to in boxes on your doorstep.

They were able to beat the price of their competitors and they provided Great customer service as well !!!

My wife wanted to replace a recliner or a chair in our living room. We came in and Maxwell took us all around the store and showed us the many ways we could change our setup. All the various shapes and sizes in color combinations was a lot to sift through, but in the end it was the comfort of the peace we chose, that was the deciding factor. If I could give Ashley Furniture zero stars I would. This has been the most unbelievable experience I’ve ever had with any company. I purchased a Dining set back in May, When it arrived in Late September The bases of the table were very wobbly, and the table was extremely unsafe. I was told by the delivery driver that it was because of the carpet that was underneath the table which I had also purchased from them that was under the same table at the showroom. Turned out, It was not because of the carpet so I reached out to Ashley customer service they then told me they would send a technician out which took another few weeks. The technician was in my house for less than five minutes, Told me they needed to re-order and exchange the bases…… It’s now January. The “new” bases just arrived. They are also WOBBLY and SCRATCHED, I reached out to customer service and asked them for some sort of compensation since it has now been 8 months since I’ve paid for a table that I can’t use, they continues to tell me that because of the discounts I received at purchase(salesman sold me on all these discounts) they can’t offer no more then $100 in a GIFT CARD. I feel like I was scammed into buying a defective item at a discounted rate but was told it was new. This table has been paid in FULL and the best they can offer is to “reorder” new bases which could take another 3 months. Or $100 gift card. Safe to say I’d never purchase anything from Ashely again and I’d implore anyone to do the same. There’s plenty of better furniture stores out there that won’t tell you to get their credit card in order to receive all the discounts but then proceed to send a defective item and say because of the discounts we can’t give you any additional compensation At the very least they’re returning this now unusable table and I have to fight with the credit card company to get my money back

We had been so stressed trying to find furniture for our living room, bedroom, and our kids’ room, but Ray made the entire process smooth and easy. He was patient, kind, and understanding, even when we were being picky. We truly couldn’t have done it without him. If you’re looking for high-quality furniture, reasonable prices, and an incredible shopping experience, do yourself a favor and ask for Ray when you visit. He will take care of you, give you the time and space you need, and make the whole process stress-free. We have a very difficult family room to furnish. Narrow with a sliding glass door and fireplace so space is limited. Our sales person, Phillip worked with us and our measurements to find us the perfect fit for our needs. my partner and I went here the Monday before Christmas to "just look." Ray Harris greeted us by singing "fa la la la la" and pointed at me to finish the rest, which was really fun! We found him once we were ready and he was amazing! The experience was good, the store staff were very knowledgeable of their furniture and helped me find what I was looking for. I am happy with my purchase however the salesman misquoted the delivery cost. It was higher than he said he thought it would be.

We are very happy with Ashely furnitures quality! Thirteen years ago, we furnished our entire home with their products and have been consistently impressed with the quality. Recently, we returned to buy a vanity for our daughter, and once again, we had a fantastic experience. Doug, our salesman, was exceptional both times, making the process smooth and enjoyable.

Nasheyah was a great help when we went in to look then purchase our new couch. She was respectful of our space and time. She was there if we needed to ask any questions. Went in to buy new bedroom sets for my kids. We were told that we get half off the bedroom sets if we buy a mattress. I didn't need a mattress, but decided to take advantage of the deal. Bought a 3k mattress, which when delivered, felt nothing like the mattress in store. Went to return it and was told I had to get an equally priced or more expensive mattress because they would not give me back the difference. Wind up with a 5k mattress. Fast forward 2 years later, 3k in interest was added to my account because they but the bedroom sets at 24 months for 0% interst instead of the 72 months that was the reason we went in in the first place. Went to the store and they did nothing to fix it even though they made the error. Now I have to pay thousands in interest instead of interest free for 72 months as I was told when I bought the furniture. I will NEVER shop at these scam artists again. Scum bag sales people lie to you to make a buck and then the company refuses to help.

Ashley’s furniture is amazing. Amy helped me purchase my first couch and she was very patient and insightful. She looks out for veterans and her main priority was making sure I left with a smile on my face.

Agreed on a price on the couch set and by the time I get to go cash out they added 300$ on the price because the salesman forgot to add something , I told the salesman’s to ask the manager to offer the original price agreed upon and they only offer to take $50 bucks off . Black Friday sale was more like a rip off sale because I didn’t save a dime by going into the store it would have been cheaper to order online and not waste 2 trips going into the store . First and last time ever buying from Ashley furniture again !

We needed barstools for an upcoming family reunion. We had unexpected work trips and ended up waiting longer than planned to find one. The team went above and beyond helping us to find a stool that matched our room’s color scheme/vibe AND to get the stools in our hands by the reunion. Thank you!

One year ago in October 2023, we spent $2400 on a couch and loveseat. Since we were shopping at Ashley Ashey is known for quality, we trusted that what were were purchasing was good quality. We were wrong. We were also sold a protection plan which we were assured we would be able to use even if we moved. After just a short few months some of the wood frame in the loveseat broke then just recently a large piece of wood frame on the couch broke. When we bough the furniture we also asked about how much weight the furniture can handle since my partner and I are each about 270 pounds and both of us are usually not on each couch at the same time. We wanted to use our protection plan so I filed claims for the damage. Both claims have been denied claiming that it's normal wear. We also called the store where they claimed they can't help us with repair because we moved from Buffalo, NY to Wilmington, DE. This is outrageous! Furniture from Ashley is supposed to last longer than 1 year. We shouldn't have had to worry about replacing this for up to 10 years.. Also, the sales reps at the store shouldn't push protection plans that we can use and claim it's the best plan and hassle-free. I am not taking no for an answer. This is not over!

Righteous recently moved into a new apartment in Amherst. It’s been about a month. I’ve been shopping around For the right furniture. Our last stop was Ashley furniture I would give all the credit to your sales rep Cameron. Give us cities and not like all the other sales people I ran into. Had a way of putting us at ease right away. It made it easy to make a decision. We worked them pretty hard, but he came through. Maybe we were just lucky to get him as our sales rep. I would gladly refer anybody I know, and I would be confident that they would be in good hands.

Great customer service. Delivery was delayed til 9 pm but we were fine with that. Well worth the wait. The delivery team was beat after already putting in a 10 hour day and multiple deliveries but they came in smiling and pleasant. Very professional and once again, Ashley did not disappoint.

Working with Tasha is as good as it gets. She seems to instinctively understand that the only reason we’re going to buy something is because it works for us. But within that space Tasha helped us find things that we wouldn’t have without her. She is considerate, cool, and has a great sense of humor. And inspires the kind of loyalty that will bring us back to Ashley.

He was not at all pushy as some sales people can be. Due to the fact that Doug was not pushy, I asked him to answer some further questions for me which he did, and decided to make another purchase from the store.
