Just purchased a sofa, XL chair and a swivel rocker. Rochelle took excellent care of me from the start, greeting me with a big friendly smile. This was a fairly busy night where several associates seemed to be juggling multiple customers, but she was gracious with me and wasn’t flustered or rushed. I ended up borrowing a pillow to bring home since there are no fabric swatches, and this meant showing my ID and credit card. Rochelle asked another associate to help me with this fairly quick process (she was mid-checkout with another customer) which I had no problem with. The other associate, who currently had no customers, clearly did not want to help me, which I realized through her facial expressions & body language after she tried to find another associate to help me. (This is why I highly recommend going right to Rochelle!). After taking about 5 minutes of her time, Rochelle made a point to thank me and say she’d see me when I returned. I returned today to make my purchase which Rochelle made so incredibly easy by having my cart all set up for me after some text communication. She went over every item, double-checking the online price and matching it, which I did not ask her to do. Rochelle went over the protection plan with me in detail, and didn’t push me to buy it (which I did) but just honestly wanted to make sure I understood what it offers. She wasn’t pushy at any point and was incredibly friendly and REAL. it’s refreshing to find someone in sales you feel you can really trust. I HIGHLY recommend Rochelle and will be going back to her for all of my future furniture purchases! I’d also like to mention Jake, the Sales Manager on duty, who was extremely helpful with j formation and very friendly.

She was very patient and helpful in assisting us with picking out our new furniture set, helped us measure to make sure we had picked out the appropriate size to fit our room! I called Ashley furniture in orchard park looking for a specific model of bed on the floor at one of the showrooms. Unfortunately the model was not in stock near me but we took a trip out to Williamsville to visit their showroom and met Tasha. I can’t say enough wonderful things about her. She showed us the bed, multiple dresser options that matched and was never pushy. She also helped us get a deal when we had a negative experience with a prior bed frame. She helped us calmly through the financial process and was friendly, patient and very helpful. Thank you Tasha for all your help! We can’t wait to see our new set for our new home

We have been shopping at Ashley in Amherst NY for 20 years. This recent experience has been by far the best that we have had (and the other ones were good). Cam, our salesman, was amazing during the selection process. He stopped by to check on us from time to time, but let us talk alone as we determined which couch we loved. We texted a few times while I measured at home and he was easy to coordinate with for the buying day. At time of purchase, Jake came to help finalize the purchase and he was amazingly fair with the pricing! They were both super friendly and easy to talk to. The purchase process was quick and we were there for less than an hour! If you are interested in getting furniture, I highly recommend Cam, Jake, and Ashley Furniture!

We had a positive experience purchasing a sectional couch at this particular store. Our salesman, Conor, was flexible when it came to scheduling a follow up meeting/consultation and helped us narrow down the options based on style and budget. He provided us with information we needed and was patient, allowing us time in-store to select the right couch for our family.

My husband and I came into Ashley Home Store just intending on looking around for a couch for our new home, as soon as we entered the store we were greeted by the lovely Rochelle! She was so very friendly and informative, she first just asked us what we were looking for and showed us the aesthetics of each side of the store and the sale going on for the store. I would love to also note that she did not make my husband or I feel pressured as she did not follow us around the store but occasionally checked in on us to see if we had any questions or concerns about anything we were seeing. She had seen we took interest to one particular sectional and showed us many different similar options with similar sizes and prices, she managed to show us the perfect sectional which happened to be on a major sale also assuring us that she would also help us with additional discounts if possible as price was important to us, she also gave us some great advice about care and management for the piece of furniture. We were also able to then look around more once we selected that item and we were offered bundled pricing which also gave us more time to make an even more informed decision. Again did not feel pressured or pushed to buy more or bundle more items by Rochelle, once we decided that we were only comfortable in purchasing the couch that day. As we were taken throughout the purchasing process we were given several options and able to work together to find the best option for us. Rochelle went over everything several times and was super thorough which I appreciate so much just incase I was missing any stipulations or fine print stuff. Rochelle made me feel assured that what I saw on the paper is what I was receiving she made the only process that may sometimes feel daunting, feel easy and breezy, fun and exciting! It felt so refreshing to receive such amazing customer service and I would recommend her to absolutely anyone! Any furniture buying in the future I will definitely be contacting Rochelle, we got so comfortable with each other by the end of our visit to the store we all hugged being so happy! We left feeling satisfied and confident in our decision and grateful for Rochelle and her amazing support and guidance. I told her I would love to speak to superior of hers to let them know how impressed I was by her ability to connect and support/help our family with our decision! Bought an over $500 recliner over two years ago and had it delivered/assembled. At first I noticed it might be cheaply made, despite that fact I felt maybe the important parts of chair would hold up. Did not happen. No springs in seat cushion, only a cheap piece of foam, cheap imitation upholstry stapled in back with no foam at all. The more I sat in the chair over time the more sore I got, legs, back, forget reclining, the padding is so cheap or non existent it is like laying on a floor. Tried putting pillows on seat or back ,did not work. Beware of the quality and do not assume like I did, go in person and try them out. Amount of money spent sometimes does not matter. Disassmbled and put to curb, money wasted. Update: Spoke to an sales agent regarding this issue. She tried to blame it on a "third party seller" however upon further checking this brand (Bladen) is an Ashley brand designed by their business. If you do not want poor quality avoid this store or choose another brand. Personally I am not going back to shop with them. A furniture store selling "knock off" furniture is not acceptable, maybe for a budget store.

I have purchased many items from Ashley over the years. My latest purchase was the best I have ever experienced. Phil Maresca went above & beyond any salesperson I have ever dealt with. His knowledge with mattresses and pillows was phenomenal. He was by far, the best I have ever dealt with. I highly recommend Phil.

I've been homeless for a year. I just rented an apartment and now I have New quality furniture from Ashley. I was very pleased at the service I was given at the Alberta Drive store in Amherst New York store Trisa was the sales clerk. This is not the first time I bought furniture from Ashley furniture and will not be the last time either.

Furniture purchased in March. Scheduled drop off for early May. Furniture than put on a delay so new date is May 28. Delayed again new date June 3rd. June 3rd arrives won’t deliver furniture because my daughter who turns 18 next month isn’t 18! I was never told about the age issue. Must reschedule again. Furniture however is very nice price is good customer service at time of sale was great. In there defense I knew the wait would be long. But not into June.

There was absolutely no pressure to purchase from him. Because of his thoroughness, we did decide to make a purchase of a sleeper sofa, oversized chair and large ottoman. From the moment we walked in, until the moment we walked out (three visits later), Rochelle listened, had the patience of a saint, and was extremely helpful. We literally came in for a kitchen table, but after seeing the sales throughout the store, talking to Rochelle, and literally contemplating other furniture needs and wants, we bought the kitchen table, a server, a frame and mattress (for guest room), and a new bedroom set for ourselves. Will we be back a 4th time? Most likely in another year for couches....and we will be going right back to Rochelle. We have never laughed so hard or had so much fun while we were spending money. Usually there is a buyers remorse after big purchases with us, but this isn't that time. Thank you Ashley Furniture for not just providing us with great quality furniture (we bought a living room set 3 years ago that is still looking as phenomenal as it did when it arrived), but with also filling our time with quality employees! This was an especially difficult time for us as life was throwing a lot of lemons our way (Rochelle only knew about our 11 year old dog that passed in between our visits and the washer and dishwasher that took a dump on us between 3 visits in one week as we contemplated our purchases). With just that knowledge...she was so empathetic. What we didn't tell her, was that we also lost a family friend, and then my godmother in the same week over Mother's Day. So losing our family dog a week later really wore on us even more. The kitchen table was a gift for me for Mother's Day to replace the one we have had while raising 3 boys over the last 17 years. When I say our experience was full of fun and laughter....I really mean, it couldn't have come at a better time. We needed the comedic relief more than anyone knows...and we got it while shopping for a kitchen table. Thanks again for everything!

Be aware of the pricing! I've purchases from Ashley in the past and probably will again. Big selection of medium quality furniture. Recently was in for a couple items and found Ray, nice sales guy, prices seemed ok, everything was setup for a later delivery and out we went. A week later I wanted to show someone what we had bought and went online and WOAH!!! The online prices were half of the showroom sticker prices even after whatever discounts we got. I couldn't believe what I was seeing but sure enough, reviews told me that this is standard pricing practice for them. No need to get bent out of shape, I called and of course they were "not aware of the online sale" and reduced all the prices accordingly. In the end the delivery went well and everything is fine. One word on the "additional" warranty": There is alot of fine print, exclusions... so be aware before you lay out your hard earned $$$.

They explain to me the different of ordering on Line and the product I am so glad I went to the store Shawn showed me the different of the same sofa in store totally better and better quality in store I bought the in store one and he sold it to me for the same price as on Line Thank You so much great service.

Not built to last. Bought two years ago and started falling apart just after warranty. The drawer slide broke when pulling out the drawer and ball bearings went everywhere. Then the side came off the rail of another drawer possibly due to separation of drawer from frame? Either way no longer works. And the second drawer from the top keeps coming out even though it’s perfectly level. I contacted customer service a month ago who said they sent out two side sets to fix it myself, but have not received anything. Payed a lot of money for junk.

Editing my review to reflect my final experience. The sales process was excellent, until it came to the fine delivery and I found out that everything we were told was a bold face lie. We ordered a mattress from Ashley, we were told to let it inflate for an hour or two and it would be good to go. WRONG! After complaining 4 hours after arrival that the bed is caving in and folding we were told we can’t sleep on it for 3 days. So what are we expected to sleep on the floor for 3 days? Went back the next morning (ready) which marked about 18 hours since delivery. Still having the same issues. We could not sleep in the bed we spent over $600 on. When telling them I’m 100% dissatisfied with the bed and the process and the lies from the sales agent. They’re refusing any sort of refund or return with a different excuse every time. I spent every penny I had on this bed that I can’t even use or replace with something I can use. Make sure you work with a manager directly and not a sales agent that will lie to you about the entire process. Do not waste your time here. Go literally anywhere else to be treated like a human. . I am disgusted with my experience

Was in yesterday just to browse with my partner and was greeted by their sales associate, Amy O'Keefe! She was wonderful to work with, extremely knowledgeable and personable. We were in the market for some new pillows, she was able to answer all of our questions, and bring up answers to questions we would've never thought to ask! (I didn't know so much goes into selecting the right pillow!!). Loved the experience, loved the sleep I got with my new pillow, and will be sure to ask for her next time we find ourselves at the amherst Ashley's! Even the brief encounters with the other associates were wonderful, there's a great team here :))

I stopped in the Amherst store to view some couches and eventually went home to do some more research and measurements. When I was ready to order I called, and despite being short staffed (on eclipse day) Ray went above and beyond with customer service. He helped me find the correct configuration of the sectional I wanted since it was not online, FaceTimed me to walk me through the entire process and reassured me by confirming all my information multiple times. Ray was a warm, welcoming, and funny spirit! He made the experience such a delight! I would 100% recommend him personally for any furniture needs.

I really enjoyed the experience! Pur salesperson, Jake, was knowledgeable, made us feel comfortable, and made everything so easy. I have 2 reasons I did not give 5 stars: 1) we have not yet taken delivery of our purchase, so i dont know if we will still be perfetly pleased with our experience;-), and 2) the kiosk to enter my information to apply for store credit was really hard to use. The touchscreen keyboard was in an uncomfortable position, and not particularly sensitive to touch, making it hard to type. An actual keyboard would be better.

All costs were explained to me while I sat on the couch. He then called my husband to verify the sales agreement. Phil did that to verify the charge card and delivery. Phil was very professional, with no pressure. One thing....management needs to get him a name badge.

What an experience from the time I walked into the door the young man greeted me Javonte Warren! I told him exactly what I was looking for he took me right to the location then my husband arrived and they began communicating and his personality and his spirt was very warm and welcoming it was overwhelming like sometimes a sales person can be! He stayed in our budget and explained everything in details we really appreciated Javonte and all of his help he was extremely patient with me especially because I can be difficult sometimes when trying to find the right fit overall a 10 for sure

He spent time uninterrupted with a very pleasant attitude, making the selection process one we appreciated. We also found some other good buys. Our sales associate, Rochelle, was so helpful. We saw a bedroom set online and wanted to check it out in person. Rochelle showed us the set and we ended up buying it right then in store. The whole process was easy and she was competent and kind.

We had an easy experience with Ray today . He gave us time to look around and talk amongst ourselves and came over respectfully to help or answer any questions we had. He gave us a great price, we bought and it's delivered in a couple weeks. Definitely ask for Ray the next time you need any assistance with home furnishings!

I already Have my sectional… Christina who sold it to me was great! That was in June. I went Into the store Saturday to order my oversized ottoman, mentioned what color I wanted and what color sectional I have MANY times… today the delivery guy has the wrong color. Ridiculous! Floor agents need to be focused, and make sure orders are being done correctly. I could’ve ordered online and had it 2 days ago, as well as saved time from driving to the actual store… Now I have To wait AGAIN so they can order the correct one. And stay home again for another delivery. I gave 3 stars because my first experience was great. But this time around I’m disappointed.. **Update: the store was super accountable and accommodating. Thanks to Lindsay and John the issue was fixed as soon as it happened. I will for sure be shopping here again soon

Philip was great. They had what I was looking for, he gave me some suggestions when deciding on color and was impressed that it was able to be delivered within five days of purchasing!

Purchased a large sectional over 1 year ago along with the extended warranty. 2 claims to the extended warranty company and several failed attempts at taking care of a few issues, I end up on a phone call with Kara from Ashley furniture who takes care of 1 year factory warranties only. She took the time to listen to my frustration offering to help by replacing the cushions that were damaged. She made sure I was happy. Now that is customer service ! I may have lost out on $600 as I will never deal with that other company again but I will be a returning customer because of her kindness. Thank you Kara! WARNING DO NOT BUY THE EXTENDED WARRANTY!

And by then we did. 15 minutes later we were filling out the paperwork. Thanks , we will be back soon to replace another piece of furniture.

I been waiting for 2 months to buy furniture specifically on Black Friday, because I’m moving, so I can purchase a dining room table set. My mother had a sale coupon from another state and it was with Ashley furniture. The dining room set was advertised for $849 on our coupon but in store it was $899. When me and my mother asked our sales representative about it she did not know about the coupon so we asked for the store manager LISA. She was very kind to me and my mom and helped put a smile on my face.

Phil M did an amazing job helping us purchase our new couch. He made sure the measurements we needed for a new couch would fit into our living room, listened to what we needed regarding comfort level/support and color too. He went into great detail about the protection plan as we had concerns about going from a faux leather couch to now a fabric couch and he let us know all about the protection plan. We have purchased from Ashley furniture before. My husband and I were very impressed with Phil's knowledge of the different products and his helpfulness.

Our salesman was spectacular!! Not only was he thorough, he listened to what we wanted, he didn't show us only the highest priced items to make an extra dollar and he was so energetic and passionate about his job. We were in your store almost 4 hours and had so much fun. You need more people like uncle phil.(aka Raymond)

I’d originally visited Ashley the Tuesday before Thanksgiving with my sister looking for a new sofa for our oldest sister. That day Jake was very kind and incredibly helpful. I told him I’d be in the next day with my oldest sister to confirm she actually liked the sofa but wasn’t able to make it back into the store until today. Jake was unavailable but Conor was there to assist me. He was equally kind, helpful and patient. He ensured I had everything I needed and also made sure Jake received credit for the sale. My fiance and I decided to buy a new sectional as a Christmas gift to each other. We stopped at Ashley furniture first and we are so glad we did! Our salesman Raymond was extremely helpful and walked us through the entire store to show us every option that they have. Our daughter was being wild and trying to climb on everything and he was very sweet with her and even included her in helping us find the perfect fit. Just had a really great experience here with Chrishawn. He was extremely helpful and patient with me and my bf. Patient being the key word as we needed a lot of guidance and explanation with sectionals and measurements. As well as kind enough to explain things in multiple ways as both of our brains work differently seeing things. He never once was frustrated with us. Very professional and worked within our budget. Our couch has yet to be delivered but based on customer service alone, 10/10. I'd definitely come back again.

Conor was a great help! He helped me two different times while I was in store, once last week and once when I decided to order. He gave me all the info that I asked for, was friendly and got me in quickly. Manager at the front of the store was quick to get assistance for me as I was ready to purchase. I wish the credit card financing options were more clear online because I did not get the exact financing option I wanted but that is not the stores fault.

Very friendly and patient

Avoid if you can, they are not interested in taking care of the customer, only your money. Went here for a new couch. Process of finding the item was not bad and the salesperson was helpful and friendly; however, when I went to apply for financing on their site it said 60 months at 0% interest in store. They refused to honor it saying they were a "franchise location" and the apr would be 22% instead. They also said I wasn't eligible for the 72 promotion plastered all over the store months since my ashley card was not the one they wanted me to have. I wound up having to pay the balance in full because the refused to help with the financing. This entire checkout process took almost an hour. During the checkout I was told that someone would call me to schedule delivery which still has not happened almost a week later despite paying their ridiculous $400 delivery fee. While the product is good, the service leaves much to be desired. Even when the salesman asked his manager to assist they told him they were too busy and he would have to wait. I would also recommend against the extended warranty. They tell you if you don't use the warranty then you can use the money as a store credit. I had a $170 credit that should have been applied to my account because the warranty provider refused to honor the warranty I previously purchased. Instead I was given a 5% discount off of a small portion of the purchase, much less than the $170 I was owed. Now even though I haven't heard from them on when I'm getting my delivery they are hounding me for a review. Well, here you go. I don't recommend.

Found a product online for $429. Went in store to purchase it to find a price tag of $799! Was told if I could present the online price, he would price match. What does that tell you?! He would have sold it to me for $799 without online proof! If that isn't a company willing to rip you off, I don't know what is! I will never shop there again!

Odd experience * Good thing that I looked online at the prices of my furniture because it was actually cheaper than at the Ashley store*. Which I thought was odd that I would have paid more had I not looked online at the prices. Also, it took a while for them to deliver. I was disappointed that they didn't have a time after my work hours during the week because they don't deliver after 5pm. I had to call around and arrange for someone to sit at my house to receive my furniture while I was at work. So that part was inconvenient. But my salesperson and the management were nice.

The clearance item I purchased was pretty over priced for some thing that they were trying to get rid of to “make room in the store.” We only wanted the chair and not to ottoman so we tried to get a price on just the chair which was still pretty expensive. Then not only would they not deliver it to my home, but then they told me there would be someone there to load it into our vehicle the next day, which we found out there was not. The sales associate we worked with was very nice and pleasant. However, I don’t think I’ll be shopping there again.

Ok fine… I was given a gift card for $250 for them tearing my king size mattress that was delivered so I would keep it, she also informed me I couldn’t use my gift card unless it was on a full priced item… so they wanna charge me $599 for a nightstand that I can get off Amazon for $239 … after all the money I’ve spent at this place … just ridiculous … i will take my business somewhere else… just wanna update as they did call me and make this right so I also gave them more stars

Great customer service!

Phil, the manager, seemed least interested in showing any furniture. My husband and I told him that it was our first time shopping for furniture but he kept asking too technical questions. He constantly kept saying that there wasn't much he could show us despite the fact that we could see it online.

Javonte Warren was wonderful! I ran into several issues trying to place an online order on the Ashley website and after multiple emails and chats, was advised to stop in the store. I did not have high hopes that a retail location would be able to assist me, but Javonte was there to greet me and was able to quickly resolve the issue and process my order. Much better than dealing with the online process and as an added bonus he arranged door deliver and set up. Sooo I bought furniture from a different furniture company and the furniture did not fit through our doors so we had to look elsewhere and to be honest, I don’t even think of Ashley’s due to hearing people say that their furniture does not hold up well, however, my fiancé said we should give Ashley a try if not, we would go with this other furniture. We walked in, and I immediately fell in love with a sectional and a woman named. Amy approached us without hovering over us just letting us know that she was there if we needed her to answer any questions, and allowed us to look around freely versus following us around the store. She gave us a lot of information on the sectional, showing us the structure and how durable it was so we laughed, put some thought into it and we were down to two couches. I went back to Ashley’s and she worked with us on a price that we agreed to pay and they got approved by her manager. Amy went over and beyond and it was very knowledgeable and her line of work and we truly appreciate her time. However, the only downfall was not being able to get a delivered right away. It was three weeks out, which would’ve been awesome if they could’ve got it to us within the week or any time sooner. Overall great ! Thanks again Amy !

I was shopping for a chair and side table for a room in my apartment. Sierra found me and my sister looking around the store. She was very helpful showing us chairs she thought I would like. She was not pushy. Later when I made my selection, she assisted me with financing and delivery information. I was impressed with the layout of the store, the quality of the merchandise, and the prices, too.

The store was great! We typically put off shopping in person at these places, due to sales associates not giving you space. However, the team was wonderful! They asked if we would like them to walk with us or if we wanted to walk around on our own. We chose to walk around alone and they outlined where everything would be that matched what we were looking for and checked in every 15 minutes or so. When we made our choice, they did not try to upsell us and just started the check out process. This is our second purchase from this location (first a kitchen table, and now a couch) and we will absolutely be back!

After 3 close friends of mine raved about their experiences at Ashley’s Furniture I decided to take a chance. As soon as I walked in there was 4 associates standing around not one person said hello or how may I help you. After 15 minutes of looking around I decided to leave and spend my money elsewhere. Until I heard a friendly voice. It was Christina. She was very polite and honest. Very professional and most importantly assertive in every way possible. She assisted me with my final purchased and even stayed an hour after closing to seal the deal. Thanks to Christina I am now a new buyer of a fantastic luxury mattress and adjustable frame. If anyone is looking for that right sales associate ask for Christina.

I came in to actually sit in a lift chair that I wanted to get my dad. I just wanted to make sure it was comfortable. Jake greeted me at the door and took me to where they were. There was one in the clearance section nearby, which turned out to be the same one I saw online. It was reduced in price so I asked Jake if he could match the online price and he did. I was splitting the cost with my brother and sister, so once I got the OK it was a go. I took the chair then and there...and Dad loves it! No more worrying for us. Yay. Thanks, Jake! I was initially impressed with the service from a representative named Philip, spoke with him on the phone and he seemed to be very helpful. However once inside the store location at 575 Alberta drive, the customer service was terrible. Philip was too busy and the 3 different women that spoke to me were rude and the last woman Sierra Clark told us that she didn’t have to sell us anything and had a nasty attitude. I would not recommend going into the store for services, if you’re going to order from Ashley Furniture just do it online. These people will jerk you around and waste your time!!

We went to the Ashley store on Alberta drive yesterday (Aug. 17th) to purchase a living room set and TV stand for my bil who is moving to a new place. Previously, we purchased our living room set here and so did my two adult children. We walked around for 45 minutes. Not one sales person approached us. On the way out, I asked a guy sitting at the front desk where was the manager. He said "I am. What do you need?" when I explained the situation he got snippy and said they are understaffed and "even I have been taking care of customers". Well, isn't that your job as manager? You saw us walking around, yet you sat there. Customer service is non existent now, not to mention bad attitudes from managers. Raymore and Flanigan got our business because of this manager and his bad attitude.

Purchased sectional at Ashley that is TERRIBLE quality and they do not stand behind products they sell. Bought couch 3 years ago - within 1 year cushions were sagging and fabric looked awful (pilling, stretched, appeared discolored). I called customer service regarding issues as I had purchased protection plan. I was told the complaints I have aren't covered. After 3 years it's only gotten worse. Don't waste your money furnature from this store - you'll be throwing it away in a few years and Ashley won't be willing to offer any compensation for selling you poor quality that doesn't last.

Me and my wife were shopping for a Bedroom set for our room and we were greeted by their Sales Associate Amy O'Keefe who was absolutely amazing! She helped us find the perfect bedroom set for an amazing price that including a Military discount. Any business that supports us Military members I will forever do business with them. Order a bed for my new apartment was told it would be here this past Wednesday, then I was told Saturday, received a text to pickup today. So I called they said it will be here on the 22nd. After all that I have no bed going else where I’m tired of sleeping on the floor for three days. Update this was on the 12th today is the 18th still haven’t received my refund. They claim it takes 7-10 days. Smh will never order from them.

This Ashley store is wonderful! They have a wonderful selection of furniture but it is the customer service that was impressive. I experienced difficulty assembling a dresser and they removed all obstacles to get it assembled. This just doesn't happen anymore and it did here! Thank you Lisa and your team!

Christina was the most amazing sales assistant I have encountered. She was very helpful, knowledgeable and patient, while never being over-bearing or pushy. She was a breath of fresh air and made our purchase completely seamless and easy!

They went to drop off my dining set and got the wrong chairs. Then had a small chunk of wood missing so the guy calls and all they can do is try to offer 100$giftcard or take it and start over. So I said just give me $100 refund and I'll keep everything the lady wouldn't do it and made the poor guys unload there truck to make room for this stuff. He said he was done working for this company they were horrible to work for and I seen why. Then I called the store in Amherst ny and the manager passed me off and could careless. For asmuch as ashley s is they should care more and treat there workers better. Update. I had to call the store to see what was going on with the furniture. Then they said they were giving me the difference for the chairs. Finally got them now they said there is no difference in money. Called the store and they said the manager will call me and that was a week again. Nothing yet. Never going back or recommending Ashley's to anyone

If you do find yourself at this wonderful store find the Assistant Selling Sales Manager Amy O’Keefe. She is absolutely amazing! Professional, nice, and extremely knowledgable about what seems like literally everything and anything furniture related. She spent multiple hours (skipping lunch) with me to find the perfect living room set for me. So go check her and the staff at Ashley’s out, it will be worth your time!

So, to make a long story short. Twice in the last 8 months I have had to leave the Amherst store and go to the one in orchard Park in order to make a purchase. The first time was about 7 months ago, I went to the Ashley furniture store in Amherst and they told me my Ashley furniture card that I have is no longer good and I cannot make a purchase. I went to orchard Park and they accepted it... No problem... 72 months interest free. The most recent problem occurred again today in the Amherst store. I went in to make a purchase, I was told my card was still not good. They told me I might be able to make an online purchase with it. When I asked what the terms were online they told me to look it up. I called Ashley furniture in orchard Park and they were so friendly. Told me the terms online and said I can come in and they will help me pick it out so I know the proper dimensions. I don't know what the disconnect is between Amherst and orchard Park. But if I was going to make a purchase I would give my business to orchard Park. Ashley, even though they're both owned by the same people. At least you might get a competent manager or sales person.

We bought an expensive set that we were told would be perfect, as far as durability, with dogs. Less than 6 months after delivery, we had problems with the fabric. We bought the 5 star warranty and have nothing but problems getting any work done. It’s been almost 10 months and still no warranty work is done. We were send the wrong fabric, finally had a repairman come only to tell us it was the wrong piece. I have had to make over 25 phone calls to get any help at all. Now, a week before the unfinished repair is supposed to be done, they cancel and will not give me a reason that they can’t reschedule. I now was told to call another company to see if they can give me the reason. Such terrible customer service. NEVER go to Ashley Furniture or use their 5 Star Warranty. You get terrible quality furniture and negative customer service from their so called warranty company. Customers beware! Such a scam. If I could give a negative star review, I certainly would.

Worst experience ever. I recently ordered some furniture from this store online and they suddenly cancelled my order after it was already shipped. They returned it to their warehouse with no explanation.

I came into Ashley with my toddler son to get him a "big boy bed" and we had the good fortune to be helped by Christina Adderley. She was PHENOMENAL! She could not have been more sweet and engaging with my son, helped us narrow down the type of mattress that would be best for him, and showed us several wonderful options. Ultimately we found the perfect bed and he LOVES it! Nice store with good selection but very poor customer service. I purchased a $2,000+ bed and paid for delivery and assembly. It was delivered dirty, scratched up and poorly assembled. None of the drawers lined up nor open. I called the delivery and a store five minutes after it was delivered asking if they can turn around go back to fix it. I was told that now after it was dropped off it becomes a warranty issue and someone will fix it in a few weeks. Don’t expect to have any help after the purchase.

Update: While I initially gave a 5 star review, I'm revising. On our delivery day, we only received our couch. When we called to inquire about the love seat, we were given 2 options...pay for the delivery fee and get the love seat or get money back. My boyfriend chose money back. However, we waited a month for the couch and loveseat. Know exactly what they are selling you because they didn't sell us what we wanted which was the set. Sadly, we didn't find out until too late. Why would I pay an additional delivery fee for something we said we wanted and were under the impression we were charged for on our purchase. Talking to a coworker, she had the same thing happen with this store. Do Better Ashley! Was greeted by a smile and welcome by Lisa. Jake came over to help us out!He was personable and friendly! I was able to show him a picture of what type of couch we'd like to have. He made a suggestion that we loved and ended up buying.

I would suggest finding your furniture elsewhere. I bought a Langford Dining Table, and chairs. It has been nothing but a disaster. First table we received was damaged, and multiple chairs were loose, with cracks/dents. Screws were falling out with minimal use. We were sent new chair pieces, and someone came to fix them- great... Unfortunately, the technician recommended a new table because of damage. A second table was sent, with different issues- technician came again and said it couldn't be repaired. Table 3 was bad, more issues, so this was refused. Table 4 delivery was attempted, the delivery person noticed a crack in the side of it, so this had to be refused. Customer service offered me 18% of the original purchase price back to keep the current damaged table, and would not allow me to get another new table. I sure hope their other furniture is in better shape than this set of table and chairs. If I wanted to buy junk at a discount rate, I would have went to the clearance section!

I shopped at Ashley Homestore again and contacted Amy O'Keefe (Sales Manager) for her expertise in decorating skills and office furniture availability. She showed me selections in the showroom that met my needs in quality, color, and styles. I purchased computer desk, wall cabinet, and office chair. I have a large wall viewed when entering my front entrance door that I wanted to highlight. Amy suggested a mirror with small accents on both sides and table. We walked around showroom viewing different options and ideas. I commented on all the interior decorating within the store and was introduced to another Amy who's the designer. With my input and from both Amy's, I made purchases and very satisfied with choices including floral accent, vases, and marble top sofa table. I have attached pictures of my latest purchases for viewing. Ask for Amy O'Keefe next time you are shopping for great selections, price, quality, courtesy, respect, knowledge, and military discounts. Also, bring pictures of rooms to assist with home decorating. Recently, I purchased a couch and swivel rocker chair from Ashley Homestore in Amherst, to refresh and lighten my family room. Photos are attached. Again, Amy O'Keefe, who is also Sales Manager and a Veteran, assisted me with her expertise knowledge of products and interior decorating skills. As a result, my room is brighter, more inviting, and completely satisfied! As part of conversation from past about bedding for sleeping comfort, I had purchased "Storm" pillows and "Purple" softstretch sheets. My sleep has immensely improved and refreshed. I totally recommend Ashley products for quality, selections, colors, workmanship, and price. I absolutely recommend Amy O'Keefe for quality assistance and her customers satisfaction. A few months ago, I entered Ashley Homestore, walked around to different areas and noticed a bedroom set I was interested in with many questions. I found a salesperson who's name is Amy O'Keefe. I asked an enormous amount of questions related to product, prices, dimensions, etc. Amy answered without hesitation all my concerns. I then inquired about mattress and box springs and again, she had detailed responses. In short, I purchased entire set and bedding. Shortly, I came back to store looking for a dining room set and asked for Amy as salesperson. I had photos of my current dining area, explained my concerns and with her interior decorating skills she showed me different sets which ultimately functioned and fit perfectly and purchased. Another day, I shopped for end tables, again, I had pictures of rooms to help with selections. I had no idea exactly style, color, functions, I was looking for. With Amy's opinions, amazing knowledge of all products, I purchased 4 end tables that fit the rooms perfectly. Yesterday, I went to Ashley's looking for rocker recliners. I showed Amy pictures of my current rooms and with her amazing expertise and helpful advice bought 2 recliners. The selection was amazing and variety of colors. Amy is an amazing salesperson and now, a well deserved promotion to sales manager. Any and all questions asked, she answered with great detail and knowledge. Her superb decorating skills is welcomed for any customer wanting advice. She totally listened to me without promoting or selling anything I didn't want or knowingly wouldn't be happy with later. Absolutely no pressure! Amy was focused on my satisfaction with all selections and approval and got me to think out of the box. Amy's military service adds a new dimension as a total team player, outstanding personality, very knowledgeable of all products, expertise, interior design qualifications, totally honest, trustworthy, and follows up on any product concerns after delivery. Brett was awesome! No pressure, listened to what my needs were, and showed me many options! Friendly and fast and I will ask for him by name next time I am there!

Brett is the best! I started my day at a different store and the sales person there was super pushy. Brett showed me an area to start exploring then left me to wander. He sealed the deal when we shared cat pictures/videos. I wish more sales people were like Brett.

Customer service is trash! Please don't let something go wrong with you furniture it takes forever! I needed a replacement part for my couch they give you a 1-4week turn around time it's been 3 months and all you can do is just wait bc everything is outsourced. We'll call you back with an update..still waiting on that call.

Told us everything we wanted to hear so we would place order, once they ran credit card the delivery rate gets pushed back a month, did nothing for us. Would not recommend them, the salesman will lie to your face to get the sale

Annalise was an absolute pleasure in helping us pick out our first living room set. She was very knowledgeable on all of the furniture and was able to point us in the right direction for items in our price range. She was able to price match a sofa and love seat combo for a great price. She did not rush us into making a decision. She gave us space to make decisions in private. We hope to buy more furniture soon with Annalise at Ashley!

Absolutely will never do business with this company again. Purchased living room set including couch, loveseat and recliner in 2019. Was dumb enough to purchase the extended warranty. When I went to use it I had to wait 3 weeks for their technician to see the furniture, their tech said that it was unable to be fixed and I would get a store credit for the full purchase amount. It has been a month and I still have not received the credit The store refuses to help and every manager I have talked to just keep saying we will send an email that's all we can do our hands are tied. No one knows if or when I'll ever receive this credit, and no one knows how to get in touch with this company other than an email. Useless customer service.

Had an unusual order today at Ashley's in Amherst but Burt and Amy were my hero's. Polite curtious friendly and most of all very patient.

Worst experience I ordered my bedroom set spent $7000 and they sent the delivery on rainy day fine not your fault but when it’s time for the second delivery you notify me you have partial of my product and my wedding is almost here nightmare I know next time not to do business with a company that doesn’t deliver there word that their selling sad one star for me

Had a great experience with Joanie buying a new couch today! Told her what we were looking for, she showed us some options, then let us explore on our own! She checked on us the perfect amount and once we were ready to move forward with our selection she was helpful and able to work with us to get the couch we wanted for a great price. She was very kind and made the process so easy!

Quality but pricey furniture

Built a brand new house, had furniture delivered by Ashley, they put a hole in the wall. We filed a claim right away and just heard they aren’t taking responsibility for it

Complete Junk- Dining room table legs and chair legs are constantly loose and have to tighten them. A chunk of wood pulled off the top of the table while wiping it with a cloth. Desk I had delivered had the wrong bolts in the leg and fell right off. The desk chair bottom broke and took almost a year to get a new base. No help with table or chairs because it should be regular maintenance to have to regularly tighten the legs on your chairs- even if its weekly, and the table top was "accidental" damage-even though nothing happened to the table, I wiped it with a cloth. I will never buy anything there again. Update- Called Ashley- sorry can't do anything to help you, the same as the first time I called. The base I was sent on my office chair needed to be reordered because it only sent me a piece of the base and no hardware. Again- total junk don't waste your money.

Don’t buy the “insurance” for the furniture. Complete scam. They show you this chair that is beat up, but then making a claim is nearly impossible. Lesson learned.
