Jonathan at Industry City was an incredible guide through the store. Gracious, patient and genuinely interested in helping find the right pieces. Made what could’ve been a stressful experience delightful!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience working with Bashir while purchasing a Purple mattress and an entire couch set for our family. From start to finish, the process was not only smooth but genuinely enjoyable. Bashir was extremely knowledgeable about every product he was selling and took the time to explain all the details clearly and thoroughly. He made the entire experience easy, comfortable, and stress-free, and we left with all of our questions answered and some truly beautiful furniture. Johnathan also played a huge role in making this such a positive experience. He was incredibly professional, patient, and knowledgeable, and never once made us feel rushed. Like Bashir, he knew the product details from start to finish and provided outstanding customer service throughout the process. Because of Bashir and Johnathan, we will not shop anywhere else but this location. Highly recommend to anyone looking for quality furniture and exceptional customer service!

Kennedi was new to Ashley Furniture at the time, but you would’ve thought she’d been there for years. From the moment we started working with her, she was extremely professional, patient, and consistently communicative. She helped us pick out furniture for our new home and made sure we felt confident every step of the way. Anytime we had a question, she responded quickly and thoroughly, and she truly went above and beyond to make the entire process feel easy and stress-free. Moving is already overwhelming, but Kennedi made it so much smoother. We couldn’t recommend her more!

Last week I went to Ashley because I needed help in furnishing a new apartment out of state. Diandra was the BEST! She is extremely friendly and spent a great amount of time and patience helping me choose a sofa and bedroom set that I'm very excited to have delivered. Very unprofessional, would not recommend shopping here!! Sales agent suggested I put down $99 to secure purchase that is refundable. When I decided to not proceed with purchase, I reached out and they were unresponsive, leading to me taking extra steps to contact customer service. Whatever you need to do to get that commission apparently!

Roberto Colon is an excellent sales consultant. He takes his time to provide customers with all the information they need before making a purchase. He is very knowledgeable about the products and very kind. Would highly reccommend. Excellent service.

They set up the sofa very quickly and professionally.

My couch was delivered 4 days late but it was not the store's fault. The delivery company's driver decided that it was to late to deliver my furniture on my schedule date and he never bothered to call me. The next day I called customer service and the store to inform them that I did not receive my furniture. They immediately got on the phone with the delivery company. If it wasn't for Rita at customer service, my sales person Basher and the store manager Imani I would have had to wait another 10 days for delivery. I am happy with my couch and I would recommend this store to a friend. 5 stars to Ashley 👍and 2 stars for the delivery company 👎

Had an amazing experience at this location. Kennedi and Imani were so helpful accommodating to my situation. I had a bed delivery that was left incomplete by the survive/ delivery team from a few days. These lovely ladies helped me find a replacement to my order and use the left over credit to find other items to complement my order. They were super attentive to what I was looking for and paid close attention to key details like my limited space Best customer service I’ve received, especially considering all the complications of the last order. They did all they could to make sure my mother and I left satisfied. Would love to be serviced by them again in the future when I’m looking for more to add to my home. ❤️

DO NOT SHOP HERE THESE PEOPLE ARE THE THIRSTIEST SALES PEOPLE TO EVER EXIST ! You can’t even tell them you want to see the show room first without them passive aggressively stalking you . Before you can even see the inventory 5 employees all gather to greet you and NEVER TELL THEM YOU WANT A MATTRESS !! They act like the most money hungry beings you’ve ever seen . They peak at you from behind the furniture then plot on you .What makes it worse is the managers have the same behavior especially the Dominican bald guy . I understand sales is hard but this is just ruthless the way they treat customers , they talk fast and the money you get your product you never hear from them again . You literally are being preyed on from the moment you walk in, they have a 30 exactly seconds from the time you arrived to be approached so BE AWARE . They also don’t cancel orders right away they’ll wait until after Sunday to cancel your order so it doesn’t effect their margins but will effect your pockets . They often tried to make me buy things I honestly just didn’t want and the more I’d tell them the more they would try to talk me into it . IF YOU LIKE YOUR CREDIT SCORE DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE ITS A SCAM !!!! THEY TALK FAST BECAUSE ITS BS . Harlem is WORSE ! And kings plaza was a complete disaster BE CAREFUL

Just had a wonderful experience at the Ashley’s in Brooklyn The salesperson Vivian was extremely excellent We were looking for a couch for my daughter and we ended buying a mattress Roberto and Raphael were so helpful explaining and demonstrating the box spring and the mattress They took their time and were very patient I would recommend these three wonderful people, they really went the extra mile to make us happy It’s nice to see that there are still people around like them.

I visited Ashley Furniture once just to look, but didn’t buy anything because the prices were high. Later I found out they opened a store credit card in my name without my authorization. I never applied or agreed to any credit account. This is unethical and feels like a scam. Be careful sharing your information with them.

I was looking to buy a couch for my new apartment. Working with Basher Najjar was an absolute joy. Not only did he answer all of my questions, but he made me feel like I was already home with my new couch. I'd highly recommend him and this store at large for anyone who wants to buy new furniture!

The sales representative was extremely pushy. After I said that I would look around a bit more, he went on saying that I was wasting his time and said that I was odd… not sure how the 10 min of him insistently following me around the store turned into personal attack after I did not close the deal, as even he was “doing me a favor”.

Sales staff actually friendly and helpful, but after purchase, customer service is of no help. They have zero return policy, and while there is technically an exchange policy, it requires I repay the several hundred dollar delivery fee. Overall, very unhappy with my experience, and would not recommend to anyone.

First let me start by saying I wasn't buying anything just wanted to look. Met Christooher the salesmen very nice young man. Stayed for hours with him and basher ( hope I got it right) they both were very helpful. Ran into a little issue where I wanted to just cancel my order BUT thanks to basher n Christopher and their wonderful customer service they were able to work it out for me. I will return once im done paying my bill lol for more pieces of furniture.

Nightmare of a place. It’s a scam. The furniture you see in store is super different from what is delivered. It’s also priced 2x what it is online. No refunds. Exchanges are a nightmare - they will place every obstacle there is for you to not be able to exchange. Thankfully I persevered. Don’t let the friendly salespeople fool you — stay away.

The sale associate Diandra was amazing !!! I told her what I wanted from my couch and she went to work. She understood the assignment!!! She made my buying experience, comfortable and efficient. I am usually not someone who leaves google reviews but I feel obligated to follow my conscience and share my experience for the first time! Wife and I were furniture shopping for our new house, and for obvious reasons had planned on checking out multiple furniture brands to get the best deal/product. However, the service my wife and I received from the very moment we walked in compelled us to cancel all those deal shopping plans from other brands and stick to just this location! Basher and Matt were second to none; Matt was incredibly helpful and patient throughout the whole process. But my guy Basher was something extra special! I’ll probably run out of all the good adjectives to describe this man who I started calling a brother after this whole experience. He was incredibly polite, friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating, and a true well wisher who guided us to make all the right decisions! There are a handful amount of furniture brands with good quality products out there in the market but most of the time—their sales ppl lacks authenticity and seems like memorized sales pitches when they approach you. BUT Matt and Basher were the exact opposite of that. They were the epitome of high quality guest servicing. Specially Basher who will add value to any team he will be a part of. Thank you guys for this seamless experience and helping us achieve our dream into reality.

We recently bought a house and needed to furnish the entire place. That’s when we met Basher and Matt at Ashley in Industrial City, Brooklyn and they were absolutely exceptional. They were incredibly patient, took the time to truly understand our needs, and guided us without any pressure. Initially, we planned to explore other stores to compare prices and didn’t intend to purchase everything from Ashley. However, after visiting several other places, we found that no other salespeople could match the level of care and service we received from Basher and Matt. Their customer service genuinely stood out. In the end, we spent around $12,000 at Ashley for all our essential furniture and it was entirely because of Basher and Matt’s outstanding support. We’re so glad we came back!

I found the most perfect couch at the Ashley outlet store. The service I got from Diandra was top notch. She got me to draw my living room on an iPad so she could visualize my needs. I had a specific budget, size, and aesthetic that I was trying to meet, and I really thought i was gonna have to go home and keep searching. But Diandra kept working with me to figure out if there was an option that would make sense, and I ended up finding an amazing deal on an incredible sofa. I think Ashley had great value for your money, and the best part is they have these interchangeable mini sectional pieces to mix and match to get a visualization of what your ideal sofa can look like. All I can Simara is the best sales person I’ve encountered in a retail establishment. I came in to help my married friends pick out a bed and couch and Simara listened to us and was kind and attentive. She literally bonded with us. We visited the store and found a sofa we liked. We were told it was only available for delivery. Although we initially wanted to arrange our own transport, they didn’t allow it. The listed price of the sofa was $1,000, but once we agreed to proceed, the total surprisingly came out to $1,500. When we asked for a breakdown, we were told it included $160 for delivery, $100 to carry it upstairs, and $250 for protection. From the beginning, it felt like the salesperson was more focused on upselling warranties and making extra profit rather than providing good service. He also warned us not to miss the delivery or we’d be charged extra. The delivery was scheduled between 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM, but the drivers showed up at 7:30 AM, waited 20 minutes, and then left. Now the store is demanding we pay extra. This has been a disappointing experience. I’m leaving a 1-star review.

Do not buy from these people. They have terrible delivery service and customer service. They don't warn you up front that they deliver at whatever time they feel like with almost no notice and charge you 100$ if you can't be there for it.

Samara is AWESOME! As well as the rest of the Sales staff. It's was convenient for me to shop and see all the great pieces that have. Samara was consistent in her Sales approach and was not pushy. Definitely will shop here again in the near future.

While the store has a diverse catalog and different choices for different budgets, The customer service leaves a little bit to be desired. I got multiple calls and texts from the associate asking when the purchase will be done. Polite “I will come back when I’m ready” were somehow ignored with sales script responses. The cherry on top was how the store associate said “would you like to see how much you are pre approved for” and then proceeded to open a credit card under my name. Now I have to deal with the aftermath of getting a hard inquire removed from my credit report, and find another store with staff that’s a) not going to borderline harass me and b) be a little more honest with the fine prints. When I am in the market for furniture, this store will not be my first or second choice.

Most of the time, I fend off the sharks (sales people) because I know they'll convince me to buy something. Here, I felt a vibe. Basher came off as a friend showing us around the place, and when it came down to us deciding on what we wanted, he allowed us that space (rather than pressuring us). The real reason for this 5-Star review is because of what happened after leaving the store. Our delivery date got delayed once by 4 days. No big deal. Then it got delayed by 3 more days. Okay... Then by 2 more weeks. Basher called us so apologetically, and we told him we really had to mull over canceling the order. We had nowhere to sit in our apartment, and we could easily go to another furniture store. We did that, but no pieces struck us like the couch we ordered from Ashley's. So, we told Basher we'd keep the delivery. 12 hours later, I get an email saying it'll be delivered in 4 days! Basher worked his magic and got us an earlier delivery. Basher was working beyond the store's hours to make this happen. He texted us at 9pm with the good news. We are so grateful he advocated for us among shortages and delivery issues. I don't hold this against Ashley's—I've had the same experience years ago with another store—and I'm especially thankful to our friend. I highly recommend working with this store. They respected us and advocated for us.

My experience with Ashley a furniture was end to end amazing. It took two reconnaissance missions checking out the inventory to finally realize a lifelong dream and get a recliner. The team at Ashley in Industry City in Brooklyn NY were kind, patient, and worked with my budget and picky tastes to find the perfect fit for me!! Delivery was AMAZING - I knew exactly when they would arrive and they called to give me a 20 minute reminder. I have lots of things to do today but I think I’ll just live in Zero Gravity heaven.

My family and I are doing a home renovation and we needed a sofa/recliner for our apartment. Living in NYC, we have to be wise about our options due to limited space. Diandra was our guide and she was extremely helpful and supportive in letting us know the different options we had and intentionally listened to all of our needs to make sure the product worked for us. She was very knowledgeable and thorough about the details and all of the products in the store and was also hilarious and kind and a pleasure to work with. Absolutely the epitome of customer service and experience and yes, we did walk out placing an order on a super comfortable couch based off of her recommendation!

It was such a wonderful experience selecting the perfect furniture to fit my needs. Miriam was kind enough to assist me in finding the perfect two accent chairs for me and my mom. She was patient, showing me the various options until we found the right chair for each of us. I recently just bought my first home and was so excited to go to Ashley to pick out furniture. When I went to the Industry City location, I was immediately greeted by Mariam. She is so friendly, warm, and really takes the time to walk you through all of the display furniture pieces, making sure that you have a chance to see everything and ask questions. She doesn’t rush you like most sales people do, and is so genuine in her approach that it made it so lovely working with her. I had a lot of questions about the furniture pieces and she was always so responsive to texts, even if I texted too early in the day, before the start of her shift. Even after I purchased my furniture, she checked in to make sure everything was fine. She even wanted to see pictures of the new couch and dining set that I bought. Overall, my experience with her was a 10/10 and I highly recommend working with her if you’re not quite sure what you’re looking for and need someone who is patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about your decision!

Kris is phenomenal. When I say phenomenal, I mean absolutely phenomenal and angelic. I have visited 10 furniture stores trying to find a proper dining set and Kris was able to find me a sturdy, extendable set for a great price in a quick amount of time! The worst experience I ever had in my life was yesterday Friday 23rd of Feb by 5 pm . The supervisor of the this store was so rude and racist and he doesn't want to help us, and was so rude and yelled at me and said " guys where are you from ? as if we are non Americans and he doesn't wanna help us. if you just want to serve American said that on your website so we would never shop at your store . I would never ever buy anything from this brand and I had to canceled my order due to bad customer services, bad management, they don't know how to deal with the system, and lied about delivery time many times , disrespectful way of talking and racist treatment. Truly they don't know how to deal with customers and doesn't know how to sell things . I would never recommend this brand to anyone to avoid disrespect treatment and worst customer service. I never imagined to have this bad treatment where I always get the best customer service here. unfortunately, I would never ever pass by this store or open your website and I won't recommend it to anyone too. This place is a Gem of a find. Huge windows massive space tons of choices but above all is the staff! The second I walked in with what a welcome.Every one of the team greeted me & our dog petting her made her feel calm & offered water. Samira worked with me & Inwas really impressed with her choices she took her time & let me walk the space stowing away my coat & belonging s ..so confident I arrived back the next day and the whole team remembered us & our dog .Reggie the newly resident manager was really fair in negotiating and is all about the customer & listened to my needs .My furniture delivery estimate was week s earlier than expected…High Quality furniture with Exquisite customer service.

Kris was so helpful in finding me a mattress- she stayed budget conscious while also making sure I was comfortable with the mattress. I never felt like she was upselling unnecessary products, but she did recommend some items if I decide to come back and add! I would absolutely come back for future home furnishings.

just a really bad experience with this store, if you don’t want a headache don’t go there, I bought a sofa there ,and the staff was great everything was fine until the time of delivery, firstly I waited for delivery for more than a two weeks and then when that day came . I got called on the same day of the delivery 12/06/2023 and get told that they will not deliver my order because I didn’t pay for the breakdown of the chaise . After I told them I’m not paying any extra money for that because I paid for everything when I bought the sofa . They delayed my delivery for another two more weeks and said I will receive it on 12/19/2023 . This is very bad experience it was my first time buying from them and I was gonna refer my friends and family to them but now I will not refer anyone and I will never go to them again . I changed my delivery to regular delivery and I’m supposed to get back my money for the home delivery and the extra charge they gave me back the money after I disputed with my bank and they charged me right after .

I had a poor experience here. I came into the store hoping to browse casually, but the sales associate followed me around the store extremely closely, even walking fast as I walked fast. It was highly uncomfortable and pressuring. I’m sure a lot of people just want to browse freely, not necessarily make a purchase or talk to someone right away.

My husband and I made our second visit to Ashley Furniture Industry city today just because of Jonathan. We came a few weeks ago looking for a new couch. He immediately took us to the most comfortable couch in the store. While we were ready to make the purchase that day we took his name and number and two weeks later he was the first person we contacted to make sure he would be our sales person. just a terrible experience with this store, if you don’t want a headache don’t go there, I bought a sofa there, everything was fine until the time of delivery, firstly we waited for delivery for more than a week and then when that day came, the driver who said I was told that it would be in 30 minutes near the address that I indicated, he arrived after 15 minutes and said that he would not wait any longer and demanded money for waiting, although I had another 15 minutes to get to my address, and in the end when he began to deal with them for Due to this situation, they wanted me to also pay money to change the delivery for another day and they didn’t care that the driver did this.

I don’t recommend purchasing from a store under this name, they cheat with delivery, they call, they say one time and then they call back and say something else, and after that they demand money from you for waiting or they reschedule it on purpose and ask you to pay for delivery $107 these are typical scammers I regretted going to this shop

I bought a couch from here that was not cheap, and the fabric started pilling after two months of light use. The cushions have also broken in incredibly fast and lost their firmness. This company has virtually no return policy or quality guarantee, so I would not recommend buying couches from here if you want something that will last you a long time.

Definitely recommend here, Simara was the absolute best in helping me find a sofa that was within price range and most importantly: COMFORTABLE. Overall a great place

I was looking at couches here, It’s a store where the sales can be “strong”. We were just not really looking to buy. The staff was so nice, not pushy and when i forgot my phone they all protected it and had it there for me. Good people, Good staff. Kinda silly couches with 4 cup holders for 2 seats. i’ll go again.

First off this Ashley furniture is extremely clean and organized, but what makes this location a gem are the staff. My experience meeting Simara and Jimmy is one I will not forget. My first time coming into the store and instantly Simara embraced me with such a warm smile and helped me find the perfect mattress and sofa for my new apartment. I didn’t buy anything my first day but I came back the following day because she made such an impression I knew I wouldn’t get the same professionalism anywhere else. She takes her time, she goes over every step and she assures you will get exceptional price considering it’s the Labor Day special. But any questions asked she had an answer. I am very happy with the love seat I purchased. The Alessio It's very comfortable and stylish. The fabric and color pattern (sesame) is sophisticated and neutral enough to blend nicely with other colors and fabrics. Very old school furniture for so much money. I didn’t understand

We stumbled in here by chance after being extremely disappointed from the surrounding stores we originally came to see. Immediately was greeted by the NICEST sales man (Jimmy) and saw the perfect couch we wanted! Not only did Jimmy give us an amazing cost for a couch that sells for double or triple the price at other stores, but he made the process super easy and was so pleasant the entire time!! We also got a beautiful coffee table. I highly recommend coming here for your furniture and skip the overpriced overrated new york shops.

The Industry City location has a lovely staff. Abel assisted in choosing the right mattress. We were told that we would get free removal of our old mattress and box spring. On the day, delivery people had no note of removing our old mattress and had to leave without doing so. We were instructed to call customer service. Now, my husband stayed home to receive the mattress and I was able to head over to Industry City and speak to Abel. It was beyond his control and a manager (I forget her name but she was lovely) tried to assist. I called customer service and she stood by to make sure she would take over the call if needed. While I was put on hold she even called on her line to try and double our chances of getting a rep on the phone. So, for the Industry City location, they tried. Unfortunately, communication broke down between them and my delivery where the mattress could not be removed. As for customer service, I would say very unhelpful. I was told I would get a call but never did, so I emailed. Not only did they reply that delivery would cost (which I was assured it wasn’t for the IC location) but they also recommended I buy a foundation, suggesting I spend more money, pretty much. I emailed back a few more times and no one replied back. I was hoping they would at least offer a different pick up day for the mattress, even if I ended up declining. Show me you tried. I’m guessing I got the mattress and that’s it; business is done, go away.

I was pleasantly surprised to find there was an Ashley Home in Industry City when I went couch shopping a few weekends ago! Our sales person Jon was incredibly helpful & well informed and helped me find the perfect couch for my home which I bought on the spot!! (My one recommendation is to check the prices online before you buy, when I went home the price had dropped quite a bit but I am hopeful Ashley will be matching the price as they did say they would when I called for the correction.) Go to Ashley, find Jon, find your dream couch! I got the Tanavi sectional and so far I am loving it! Thanks Jon!

We had the best furniture shopping experience ever at the Ashley's. All the staff there are very professional and helpful, especially Daniel from the sales team, who guided us with patience and proficiency. He was able to think on the customer's side and also gave us time and space to decide on our own. We looked at so many other stores but none of them is as good as the Ashley's in terms of the service. We chose a comfy sofa at the end, highly recommend for anyone looking to buy furnitures with good quality and fair price.

I visited Ashley's in order to browse for new mattresses that would be suitable for my future room. I was helped by a friendly attendant named Kenneth, who helped guide me through all of their mattresses and pillows. Staff were very professional, attentive, and casual. My attendant Kenneth was helpful in a way that was not overbearing and made me feel comfortable and like a valued customer, not a person that they were trying to get a sale out of or get me out of the store. He was very honest about prices and space required for the beds in any room. I strongly recommend asking for Kenneth or any of the helpful staff members at this location.

The staff here are all so helpful and work great together as a team. I’m a pretty indecisive person but Nicole was a rockstar and helped me navigate all of their offerings like a pro. Her interior design skills are excellent too, and she gave me some really good ideas on how to further furnish my place. During checkout the manager Antoine talked through all the pricing and delivery logistics and made it all very easy to understand. I’ll definitely be coming back next time I’m in the market for some furniture!
