I have bad experience and never buy again I not recommend Chirs this it’s the guy who sale the furniture he put the wrong address and the delivery came and they felt and I call Chris and he never resolved the problems and never call me back I not recommend this store

Awful customer service! I have bought furniture several times in the past. NEVER AGAIN. I never take time to write reviews, but this has been nothing but aggravation over 2.5 weeks. Salesman would not respond to messages or calls for 2 weeks. The store does not have a direct number to call, it goes to corporate and they can't even get them to answer when they call or message them. Twice they tried to transfer me to the store, only to be disconnected. They sent them messages to call me twice and they did not. Now they are delaying in processing my furniture return. Delivery experience was not great either. I was rushed and they wouldn't open ottoman when I told them salesman told me I could send it back when I received it because I didn't get to see it in store. When I went into store to return the pillows (that were supposed to delivered, but then I need to pick up and they would not take back on truck) Assistant manager told me that a refund for the delivery was possible, but would be up to my salesman who would call me today. I had to call him, at 3:30pm. He had no idea what happened yesterday even though I emailed him and he had been in work for a few hours. He said operations manager has not yet processed my return (although the $66 pillows were credited back to my account). He said it is not possible to refund delivery, even after all of the awful customer service I have received. Go to a store with better customer service and actually has a phone number you can call. I have called several in my hunt for new furniture. It is amazing they answer and are very helpful.

Mike was absolutely fabulous! He showed us all different types of sectionals and recliners. He explained in detail all the aspects of each and fabric care. He was pleasant to deal with. Friendly and not overbearing. 100% recommend speaking to him if you are looking to buy any furniture from Ashley.

Our Salesperson, Christopher Warner was extremely helpful & made very efficient use of our time. Christopher was a good listener, knew where the Dinning Sets we maybe interested in were located on the showroom floor. He was helpful in selecting the color & finish that best matched our existing room decor. Christopher was also very helpful in showing us all the possible chair options available to match our table selection. Allowing us to decide which hair back, leg & seat best suited our comfort & taste. I will highly recommend Christopher Warner to everyone I speak to about Ashley Furniture. We liked his relaxed professional demeanor, attention to our needs & salesmanship.

I had a great experience buying my new sofa at Ashley Furniture! The sales associate was Ash and she was amazing! She knows so much about all the products, she was friendly and helpful and went out of her way to ensure I was happy with my purchase. The store manager is Filamena and she also went above and beyond. I loved my sofa at first sight but I also wanted to compare prices and quality, so I ended up browsing other stores on Route 110. Let me say, nothing compared to Ashley. All other stores were way too expensive and didn't have what I needed/wanted. I came right back to Ashley and Ash was waiting patiently and helped me finalize my purchase. She is a definite asset to the company and I would highly recommend her and the store in general!

Marisa and Fi were so amazing! We had the best experience with them! They made us feel so comfortable and are so knowledgeable. They took their time with us and made sure we found the perfect furniture for our home! We strongly recommend going to see them at Ashley furniture!

My wife and I just moved to the area and we needed to furnish our house, having no clue how to do it. We went to a few furniture stores, and left with some prospects of purchase but didn’t buy. Our last stop was Ashely in Farmingdale, and thankfully we had Mike Lopiccolo to help us. It was a seamless, easy and fun process. Mike’s knowledge of product and patience were greatly appreciated. As he explained everything to us and showed us all possible options, we knew that we were in the right place. With this guidance we purchased both a couch and dining room table that will truly turn our house into a home. I will be quick to recommend folks from the area and those out of the area to stop in and work with Mike for their furniture needs. We left breathing a sigh of relief and the confidence to know that if needed any more furniture we have the exact person to go to.

She completely understand the in and out of anything I was curious about and helped me make the best decision. She's a wonderful story telling, entertaining relatable and a overall good time. I do not like shopping but Marisa made this enjoyable. And my dad love the product!

Absolutely Disappointed – Poor Customer Service and Empty Promises We recently purchased a floor sample bed from Ashley Home Furniture, and from start to finish, the experience was frustrating and disorganized. The salesperson, Karim, was friendly but clearly new and just following his manager’s lead. When we first walked in, they were heavily promoting a “free Stanley cup” offer with purchases over $299. We ended up buying a floor sample my mother liked, and were told the 20% scratch-off discount didn’t apply—fine, we understood that. But after completing the purchase, the Stanley cup promo was conveniently forgotten. I had to bring it up myself as I was walking out. The salesperson just handed me a slip of paper and that was it. Despite following up multiple times afterward, no one gave a clear answer or seemed to care. I guess once the sale is made, customer service is no longer a priority. To make matters worse, we were told we couldn’t pick up the item right away and needed to wait 72 hours for the warehouse to prep the floor model for pickup. I questioned this since it was a weekend and seemed like a simple request. When I called back on Monday, they said we could pick it up after all. So I rented a van—only to arrive and find the item hadn’t even been moved. It was still sitting on the showroom floor in the exact same spot. Then came the attitude from the visual manager (I didn’t catch her name). She was completely condescending and claimed, falsely, that no one ever said the item would be packed. I had to correct her—I didn’t refuse packaging, I refused to pay $300 for delivery. Instead of owning the miscommunication, she chose to lie and deflect blame. No wrapping, no protection—just a large, heavy item we had to lift ourselves from a warehouse bay nearly 6 feet high. Shoutout to Kevin from back of warehouse. Who was super helpful and had more customer service and care than the management!! To top it off, as I’m about to leave, I’m stopped and told I still need to “pay”—despite having paid in full at the time of purchase. Turns out they just needed me to sign something, which took another 15 minutes. During that time, they brought out another part of the bed

We just purchased a new sofa, bedroom set, dining table, and mattress, and were extremely happy with the entire experience. Each piece not only met but exceeded our expectations in terms of quality, comfort, and style.The entire process—from ordering to delivery—was smooth and professional. The team, Mike and Karim were so knowledgeable, patient, and helpful with explanations, which made the experience stress-free. Mike even offered water and made us coffee. We highly recommend this store to anyone looking for stylish and reliable furniture, along with the best sales team, thank you again Mike and Karim.

Had an amazing experience today with Marisa today. She reminded me of and confirmed my appointment the day before, and from the moment I walked in she was attentive (let me know she was finishing up with a guest, but offered refreshments etc). Once she was ready she instantly pulled up the quote with what we previously discussed and took the time to dissuade any concerns that arose. I was in and out before I knew it with exactly what I needed (Was able to get everything with easy financing). Would highly recommend!!!

Had a great experience at Ashley! From the moment we walked in, Karim was incredibly helpful. He was professional, knowledgeable, and made us feel comfortable without any pressure. He patiently answered all our questions and gave us the time we needed to make the right decision. You can tell he genuinely cares about helping customers rather than just making a sale. If you're shopping here, definitely ask for Karim — he's a fantastic salesman!

The workers at this Ashley location don’t know what customer service is. Walked in and for at least 5 minutes no one helped us, while several workers were on the floor fooling around and helping no one else. Finally a worker decided to reluctantly ask if we need help, after a manager-type woman prompted him to. He seemed annoyed to even talk to us. He did not introduce himself nor smile the entire time. He was a bald, skinny man. We told him what we wanted, and our budget, and he proceeded to show us furniture completely out of our budget, knowingly. He then started questioning us aggressively about our living situation which made us uncomfortable. He showed us a quoted price for furniture we were thinking of buying on his iPad and when we kindly asked for a print-out of the quote he angrily said, “You have phones. Take a picture. We don’t do that.” Then, before we even had a chance to discuss and make a decision about the purchase, he started asking whether or not we’ve looked at the other stores nearby yet and started shaming us for even wanting to. He said things like “What, you think you’re gonna find a better deal at Bob’s?” and “The stuff at Raymour and Flanagan is crap.” The attitude and arrogance of this man pushed us to leave Ashley and go directly to Bob’s where we were immediately greeted with smiles, multiple people willing to help, and fantastic prices for better quality furniture than Ashley. We happily purchased from Bob’s and we have the insecure man at Ashley to thank for that. PS: At Bob’s, they actually offer you a printout of their quotes directly from their iPads.

We had such a great experience working with Eric while shopping for furniture for our new apartment. Even though we ultimately couldn’t make a purchase from the store because they don’t offer shipping down south, Eric still went above and beyond to help us. He was incredibly patient, answered all our questions, and clearly had deep knowledge of all the furniture we looked at. He made what could’ve been a stressful process feel easy and enjoyable. We really appreciated his kindness and professionalism throughout. Highly recommend working with Eric if you get the chance!

Our salesman Mike at the Farmingdale store was extremely helpful to us in choosing a new sectional sofa for our home and never once pressured us into a purchase. He was very knowledgeable and assisted us in choosing the pieces that would look best and fit properly in our living room. He went above and beyond his responsibility as our salesman by actually coming to our home to personally measure the space so we were sure to order the correct pieces. I went to Ashley's in search of a sectional sofa and was not dissappointed. Ash, the customer rep, was friendly, knowledgeable and very patient. She took the time to find out exactly what I was looking for and guided me around the various displays until I found a sectional sofa of my liking. I got a great price and 20% off of it. I left the store with a smile and looking forward to my new sofa.

Clemente and the helper were extremely friendly and efficient. They helped me decide on a layout for my new couch and helped me move things around to suit this new layout. 10 out of 10 service! I live in a 3rd floor walk up and they were very careful and quiet (very early delivery). Hopefully Clemente can deliver my next piece of furniture from Ashley! Thank you so much!

I’m truly blown away at the customer service from Ashely Furniture. It’s super easy to shop online as a millennial but coming to the store truly was a great experience. My customer sales rep Lorne in Ashley HOME was AMAZING. He was patient and not pushy and truly listen to my needs. I appreciate him taking his time to show me things he had in store and online. Although I wish the show room had more modern contemporary dinning pieces. I still left with a dinning that I love. I would have walked away if it wasn’t for Lorne’s ability to be patient and kind.

My husband and I came here planning to look at a new bed frame. Tony approached us in a respectable manner and was extremely helpful with the bed frame. When we mentioned that that we were also looking for a mattress, he was incredibly patient and informative while we tested out nearly every bed in the store. Not only that, he also taught us about appropriate bed pillows as a bonus. Tony was actually such a help that we decided to pull the trigger on a set of armchairs we had also been looking for. 10/10 would highly recommend

Couldn’t be happier with my experience. I shopped for my new sofa on route 110 in Farmingdale. My first stop was Bob’s. Then Raymour and Flanigan and finally Ashley. They all carried basically the same couch. Bob’s wanted $4000. Raymour wanted $3500. Ashley was $2750. And they had the best color. My sales person, Filomena, was the reason I made the purchase. Do not loose her, she compliments your business. Having just come from Raymour and Bob’s, she made me feel the most welcome and the most at home. My delivery was today. The drivers had a tough delivery as I’m on a second floor apartment with a 17 step stairway that has a 45° turn in the middle. They delivered a large four piece sectional up the stairs and it was a very difficult delivery. They were very careful and did a great job. Unavoidably there was some scuffs on the walls, but to my amazement, they took out a cleaner and wipes and clean my walls for me. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience

Do. Not. Purchase. Our experience with Ashley Furniture continues to haunt us. Initially, great experience and customer service, but this turned into a nightmare. Lies, deceit, and over a year of frustration. Customer service is nonexistent at best and it literally takes going to social media and these reviews to get noticed. I honestly hope that happens here, but our experience has been never ending and I have zero confidence they will do the right thing. Just save yourself the frustration and don’t go!! Worst customer service experience ever.

It would be wise to avoid this store and their products especially their scam protection plans. I spent over $15,000 and was misled by their sales representative into purchasing a protection plan that has proven to be unusable. Every attempt I've made to reach out to either the protection plan provider or the store has resulted in a lack of resolution. I highly recommend taking your business elsewhere and supporting establishments that genuinely care about their customers and offer legitimate protection plans that are worth the investment. My couch looks 20 years old when it is barely 1.5 years I purchased it.

My furniture delivery service was excellent. I was kept appraised of the exact time they would arrive. Movement from truck to setup and placement was seamless. The guys were friendly and efficient. My whole experience with Ashley Furniture was great from showroom associates to my living room.

I want to give 1 star to Ashley cuz I spend almost 10k for furniture before we buy they say we cover up everything but within 2 months furniture start chips and cracks on the furniture

Shopped and purchased a living room set and tv stand with a fireplace. I shoppped in the Farmingdale, NY store and was greeted by Hennrie Anne when I walked in. She assisted me in my different options , measured everything to be sure it would fit in my living room and was courteous and professional. My delivery came on the date and time I agreed to. Delivery men were polite and professional. Only issue was the tv stand came with a very noticeable chip on the left side. The delivery man immediately called customer service, took pictures of the damage and with in a week I received a new tv stand, which was delivered by another professional and polite delivery men. I also purchased, through Ashley's website, 2 lamps and 2 end tables, all were delivered by fedex in 3 days. My experience with Ashley's furniture company was top notch.

I had a great night today at Ashley Home Store Furniture in Farmingdale NY. I walked around numerous times as I was nervous making a big purchase and trying to decide what I like vs what I loved! I ended up loving the furniture I placed an order for with Ash. She was super patient and gave me as much information as possible. I also met manager Josh who went over my finance options. he reassured me with finance options. Lastly I had privilege of working with Henry Anne who broke down girl math for me. She worked the numbers and explained them thoroughly to me. All three were exceptional! My experience tonight was amazing I left with my living room set being set for delivery exactly when I want it! I was indecisive and all three catered to my needs. I am very grateful and look forward to my furniture being delivered. You have a team of experts at that location. Thank you

The salesperson Ash was so nice. My wife and I had narrowed it down two couches but we were so indisive. She had a lot of patience working with us. I definitely would use her again.

Purchased a sectional from this Ashley in June of 2022 for almost 5k, fast forward two years and the couch already looks like it’s 10 years old. Every couch cushion has pilled terribly, some cushions have collapsed and some have bowed. In addition, when we purchased the couch we also bought the warranty policy which turned out to be a complete scam! We submitted claims for the couch pilling and an accidental puncture tear which were both denied. After finding the denial online I attempted to call and speak with a manager but instead I got a voicemail and still have not heard back. Stay away from Ashely furniture’s low quality fabric and scam warranty policy!

This Ashley Store is incredible!! The manager Filomena knows exactly what’s she doing and talking about when she’s making sales and helping out customers. She was able to help my mom and I change something on my bedroom set order. I also wanted to mention Henri-ann , Sunny the Operations Manager (cutie pie with great demeanor 🥧🥰) , and most importantly Alexander a new employee who has a big potential. Thank you to all the employees who made our experience so memorable, we will definitely be going back again soon!

Not all Ashley's are made the same, so not only make sure you shop at Ashley's Farmingdale location , ask to see Emily and/or Erick, at the Farmingdale Ashley's... Weather you're looking for a couch, a bedroom set, or dining room stuff this is where to go and who to see. Yes these two sales people were knowledgeable, informative, patient, and very professional. No pressure, no bs, just plain old help to get what you want. Even if it means walking around the entire store several times. It sure made it easy for us to buy a couch sectional for our house, and we are grateful Emily and Erick were up for the task. Ty

Bought my sofa from them and the warranty. I explained i have a cat and if those damages would be cover under the warranty. They assure me it would be but it's a total lie. They won't do it. And I have to pay fee to get them repair. They lied. Not happy.

My experience at Ashley Furniture was ultimately pleasant, thanks to Marisa Weinstein. She assisted me in finding a great bedroom set, and even though I needed to adjust my order and wait a bit to schedule the delivery, Marisa was incredibly accommodating throughout the entire process. Unfortunately, my experience with the first delivery team was disappointing. They seemed reluctant to deliver the furniture properly, claiming that nothing would fit. They even wedged the pieces into the doorway and took pictures to document their difficulty delivering the furniture, which was very frustrating. However, once I brought this to Marisa’s attention, she took immediate action to resolve the issue. Although it took some time, I appreciated her dedication to making things right The second delivery team was fantastic! They quickly delivered the piece that the first team couldn’t manage, and within 20 minutes, they had the entire bedroom set assembled and positioned perfectly. Carlos, one of the drivers, truly stood out—thank you, Carlos! The second team not only delivered all the items in one go but also set everything up in no time, making the process feel seamless—exactly how I had hoped it would go from the start. This team truly sets the standard for Ashley Furniture, and I can’t praise them enough. I greatly appreciate all the assistance I received and will definitely recommend you to anyone in need of furniture. My only advice is to be patient as getting new furniture is definitely a time consuming process!! I look forward to returning for more furniture in the future. I thank the Ashley team for mostly everything!

Worst store. They have the worst customer service. They delivered the wrong size rug to our home and we called right away and asked to exchange it for the bigger size and they gave us so many issues. Told us we have to pay for another delivery fee. I will never buy from this store again and I will never recommend this store.

She was very kind, professional, and answered all my questions while showing me different options. Tony was also very patient. Joseph was a nice sales guy and the reason why I came back to patronize this store above the others. We had shopped other places but chose this store. The management team is inept and unprofessional. I was offered a 10% discount off of three pieces of furniture by the sales person and had agreed to buy them for that price. I continued to purchase other items. One on clearance, and a mattress. I was also going to be returning to purchase a dining room table with 4 extra chairs. I was also offered additional discounts there. A manager came over when we were finalizing the transaction saying to the salesperson, “I’m your T.O”. His name was Paul. He is in dire need of training. I would not recommend using inside business terms with a customer present. It’s tacky and doesn’t present well. This checking out ordeal must have went on for no less than 30 minutes while my family sat in furniture waiting for it to be completed. There was a flyer that I have that states 10% off on regular priced merchandise which is where I thought the salesperson was offering his discount from. The management team said they couldn’t give the 10% off and that they would have to raise the price to a higher price to give that discount. What? Yes, this is what was said. Your pamphlet does not meet advertising guidelines set by the New York states attorney general. The disclaimer font is smaller that the legal size required. I was told the explanation was in there. I could not read it. I will not be returning to the store and plan on writing reviews on yelp and google. I will also be contacting the AG office and be filing a complaint with the BBB. This is certainly not over a discount of $150.00. It’s the principle of offering one, having a flyer that’s states there is one, and not honoring it. Ads are required to be clear to consumers. When they are not, it’s considered deception and are illegal. Sad that your management team is unwilling or unable to handle a small customer service issue and allow it to turn to this. I will be formalizing my complaint in greater detail. I would like someone to contact me. I will not speak to a manager from the store. They are the cause of this. A company of your size should be ashamed of operating in this way.

I went to farmingdale Ashley furniture. Spoke with a manager named Sabir. He denied the reselection which other Ashley furniture stores allows in one day. Even though I told him I am ready to buy few furniture today, he told me to select furniture and come another day. He treated me different than how he treated my husband. I have never been treated this way in any furniture store in my life.

In April of 2022 I purchased the Tanavi modular sectional. I’m writing today 2 years later to let your company know that I have never regretted a purchase so much in my entire life. The couch looks like it’s 10 years old. The fabric of this couch is the worst quality I’ve ever seen. I have spent hours of my time trying to remove the pilling so that I’m not embarrassed when having company over. Shame on Ashley furniture for selling this product and practically stealing money from people. I’d also like to add that I purchased Ashley’s “protection plan” for stains and rips. I have been trying to use this protection plan for stains I have gotten on this god awful couch and conveniently no one is able to help me. Which does not surprise me. To wrap this up I will let you know that I will never ever be purchasing one more single item from Ashley furniture, nor will I allow any family members or friends. I will let them know how badly Ashley furniture has let me down. Now that my couch is wrecked 2 years after purchasing, I need to go purchase a new one. But make no mistake I’d rather sit on the ground then waste my money on another product from Ashley furniture.

After 6 1/2 hours of inconvenience I learned that Dana was not the manger she was district manager that didn’t want to bother to solve the issue and when I asked to speak to her she had already left the store. I feel that the store should cover the delivery cost after many hours in the store.

I would never shop at Ashley’s again. This place has the worst customer service. Their employees are quick to sell you their products but will disappear on you when they’ve made an error. We ordered a sectional sofa and were charged full price for the sofa. We were missing a piece and when we told them about it they charged us for another piece!!! We were double charged and the charges were never taken off. Marco the store manager originally told us that because of the inconvenience the store would eat up the cost of the piece and practically just deliver it to us for free however we were charged TWICE for a piece we originally were missing. Not to mention the quality of the sofa’s are unbearable. THEY ALSO LIED ABOUT THE DELIVERY DATE!!! Henri-Ann, specifically told us that if we don’t like our mattress or sofa we can return it at any time, PLEASE DON’T LET THEM LIE TO YOU. PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND NEVER PURCHASE FROM HERE!

The absolute worst experience of my life! We made over a $15,000 purchase in buying our new home furniture. They messed up our order, the quality of the sofa’s were disgusting. And the people that work there absolutely lied to us. Told us we can change our minds and return at any time but once the furniture is in your home you’re stuck with it, even if it’s not the right thing. Absolute disaster! NEVER AGAIN!!!

I am Mandie’s guest who doesn’t have a Gmail only a yahoo email. So I am writing this review from her device. I wanted to make sure she has 5 stars in service. Mandie and Marco were very kind respectful patient and amazing with selling us the Mandem loveseat. We saw a set at Raymour and Flannigan but the one we saw at Ashley’s was way better with the leather and price. My husband and I had a great conversation with her about similar dogs we have owned. Thank you to Marco for being a great sales manager as well with his knowledge. All is appreciated and we are definitely coming back in the future for a dining set!

Terrible Sales men and women. They are not trained and have no idea what items they are selling NOR do they even know the options available to the customer. At the 4th visit to the store my wife got into an actual Yelling Conflict with a VERY RUDE Female Representative That was claimed to be the "one in Charge".... So After getting kicked out of the store... I returned in the morning To Talk to Steve (original Sales "Manager") and finally got things resolved. Took 5 Visits and 3 Phone Calls To Customer Relations Supervisors to get it squared away.... On top of it all the delivery drivers scratched 3 fresh painted walls AND Dinged a Stained Oak Bedroom Door.... There were screws missing in the assembly of dressers and draws... Can't Give NO STARS. Save the headache and go to Bob's... Same Quality Furniture - without the hassle of sales people coming at you like sea gulls and having the same knowledge of the furniture. 👎🏼

We purchased a new mattress at the farmingdale NY location. We were helped by Emily Cruz and she could not have been more helpful! We weren't sure what we needed and she took the time to walk us through the selection within our price range. She was informative, helpful and so sweet! I’ve been a loyal customer for many years with Ashley’s. This is by far my worst experience. First being told our furniture was coming on a certain day just to be rescheduled the day before the scheduled time. Being told over and over that a manager will call me. NO CALL! So I went to the store waited over an hour to speak with a sales manager Marco. He said he would reach out in two days. I reached out after 4 days with no contact, he ghosted me. We finally got our delivery yesterday and the wedge for the center of the couch was broken upon arrival, someone from customer service said they will call back within 5 mins after 3 hours we had to call back just to be told there’s no eta on a replacement and they will call back. Utterly disappointing!!!

The fine print for any in store purchases states no returns, regardless if it was delivered damaged. If you order from the store, make sure you flip over every piece of furniture at delivery to inspect every angle even though the drivers will rush you. Paid $400 for an ottoman, arrived damaged, Ashely’s refuses to help.

Do not ever order off the Ashley website. It is a front for 3rd party vendors, which and I quote Ashley customer service: "We have no control over". If you order something by mistake or find it for a better price and try to cancel the order, even if it is been only one hour, they make you fill out a cancellation request form. This form never gets processed and your mistaken order ships. When you complain, customer service places all the blame on you, pointing out microscopic fine print about 3rd party vendors and how you should have done follow-ups even if it has not been 24 hours since the order. The microscopic fine print says no returns once an item ships. If you try to cancel, they simple ignore you until it ships, and then say, and I quote again, "There is nothing we can do."

Do not buy anything from Ashley Furniture. I purchased a sectional on Sept 16, 2023 from Ashley in Farmingdale New York. I paid over $3,000. I hardly use the couch since we have a sectional in our Den. After entertaining on Thanksgiving, I noticed that the entire couch was pilling. In December, I filed a claim with the protection company ( I purchased the extra protection). I waited several weeks for a response for the claim. Today, I finally heard back from them and was denied help since pilling is not covered. I immediately called Ashley to tell them what is happening to my hardly used three month old couch. I spoke to the manager, Urial, he told me that pilling is not a manufacturers defect and said there is nothing he could do to help me. Clearly the manufacturer is using inferior fabric and should stand by their product and make restitution to innocent consumers. I was told to purchase a fabric shaver to fix the problem!!! I would have been better off buying a $1500 couch from Bob's. Ashley furniture should be out of business with these terrible ethics and defective, cheap fabrics they are using.

I loved the store but really Samantha made the experience that way she is extremely helpful and so nice and warming to customers that's how me an my husband feel. Samantha is a benefit for your company. Also I loved the furniture in the store I love what I ordered an when it's time for new furniture I will return.

Amanda and Devin were so helpful and knowledgeable! We had been to multiple stores that had 1 or 2 beds with storage under it (which is what we wanted) - Amanda showed us 6 beds with storage and explained each bed and the different variations of each. She helped us make the best decision. She then introduced us to Devin who is the mattress specialist - he had us test out multiple beds & pillows until we found the best fit. He explained the way the mattress we decided to go with worked and why it would help with our back pain, husband’s snoring, and my acid reflux. I am so glad we stopped at Ashley and am looking forward to working with Amanda and Devin again!

Worst experience at Ashley in Farmingdale, we would looking for new living room and bedroom set for our new home we just bought. We were greeted by sales person Ganesh, he was helping us out, as he was giving us pricing on the all the things we were looking for , we were checking them also online at Ashley were we was seeing the prices were significantly less online and then Ganesh tells us you don’t want to buy from the online store because they are cheaper materials and not from the same warehouse as the In store items , which was a lie , because we called and then said that was not true. Anything that is ordered online or in store comes from the same warehouse. Then he proceeded to tell me and my wife with the purchases he will give us a free gift , a center table for the living room. This was in Nov 23 we are now in Jan 24 no gift ever came and we when we called him about it not answer or text. Another lie. Then we asked him to price match as he was selling us a bed frame that online was 2k cheaper he told us that if he did that he would affect his commission and that he would look into it. A couple of days later we called again and he said he would price match and we would see it in first bill the price difference. Another lie. Haven’t seen anything. Worst experience ever. Definitely a sale person that only cared about himself and his commission then how his client felt . I have been in sales for over 15 yrs and I know any company I would have worked for if I lied like Ganesh did I definitely would have been fired for all the lies and broken promises. So I warn anyone don’t go to the Ashely Farmingdale and if you do be beware for Ganesh , definitely lie and take advantage of you with were the items come from , pricing and also about getting a gift. Better just to walk down the street to Raymond and Flanigan, better customer services and they don’t lie to there customers like GANESH did. It’s funny how it took Ashley 2 Months to get back to us about the situation and then the store has the nerve to lie about and Ganesh and that he was a intern and just started working there. When he told us he has been working there for more the 2yrs and has reviews all the way back as 3, 4 and 6 months before our review. The store should definitely looking into there facts before they lie to corporate and to there customers. I can already think if management lies , I can imagine the sales people that work there. As they say the Apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. BE AWARE OF Ashley of Farmingdale especially if you run into Ganesh the biggest lier there.

The salesman Karan was super helpful, and courteous. We asked for a price match to the Outlet online price and they honored it without any pushback or games. The 0% finance was offered, but not pushed, and save goes for the insurance. Overall great experience. Marco was very helpful in assisting as well and ensured we were happy with our selection.

Part 1 of this experience: Devin was great in finalizing my sale and helping me make a custom configuration for our new couch. Samaiyah was great, too. She helped me find the right model for my style and comfort needs. As team, these two were great to work with. Thanks for all your help! Make sure to ask for either when you arrive! PART 2. On 12/9, the date my sales rep and I discussed to be the day our couch would be delivered, I had NOT received any communication about my order. I call customer service in the morning (even though my contract CLEARLY states the company will contact me IMMEDIATELY if there are any changes to my order) to find out our furniture will not be arriving until JANUARY 18. After speaking with multiple representatives, all the company can tell me is “we understand your frustration. This should have never happened. I will handle it personally from here on out.” To be clear… I did everything on my end to be ready for our delivery- removed all furniture for the delivery on that day. So, as much as “I understand your frustration” is customer service worthy… 5 1/2 weeks of sitting on our floor is UNACCEPTABLE. But it’s okay because they understand my frustration….? Why am I reaching out and checking to see if Ashley is doing their jobs when I am fully prepared on my end? Cancelling Christmas breakfasts and hosting events because we don’t want our guests sitting on the floor is frustrating, yes. The inability to use our living room for 5 1/2 weeks is frustrating, yes. The lack of communication has absolutely turned me away from trusting this company and I will no longer be making future purchases. If I didn’t spend 3 months searching for the couch I really wanted, I’d cancel my order entirely. I’ve taken a star away for every week we will be sitting on the floor instead of our previous furniture because no one had the professionalism to contact us. The delivery process better be a more positive experience. If anything arrives damaged or incorrect, I will be seeking an ENTIRE refund and NOT store credit. This will NOT be tolerated. Samaiyah from Ashley Furniture of Farmingdale was awesome. You know how it usually goes when you go furniture shopping. The sales person follows you around like a creeper. I went about a month ago to the same location and the salesman was like stalking my sister and me, and so we left. I even tried asking him to give me space and he said yes and apologized but still stalked us, so we left and went to Raymor across the street. I didn’t buy anything that day because that man really just ruined the moment, anyways… I went with my husband today and when we entered Samaiyah greeted us, I quickly explained that my husband and I were looking for a living-room and dining room set but I politely asked for her to give us space and I told her we would reach out if we decided on something we liked. She agreed, texted me her name and then fell back. A little later she brought us a flyer with a few discounts, which we thanked her and again she stayed away. When my husband and I liked an item she was quick to respond, she was attentive and understood our vision. Thank you Samaiyah We really appreciate all your assistance.

If there was a checklist of how to treat your customers like they are your personal ATM, Ashley would reign supreme. Went to the store knowing the exact sofa and model that I wanted, I only wanted to pay and place the order as for some reason there is a shorter delivery time if you don't order online. They had me standing around waiting for the only member of staff who was allowed to operate the computers for over 45 minutes, then they quietly ask if you want to buy their insurance for 2 years, and that's when you find out that they don't trust their own products to back them even with a limited manufacturer's warranty, and to get protection you are forced to buy their insurance from them, I don't like being strong-armed into spending more money for things that should be a standard offering. Then, if they comped the delivery fee for free I would understand their terrible attitude towards their deliveries, but despite the fact that you are paying for the delivery, they will give you zero options in choosing a date or time that is convenient for you, the paying customer who has already paid for this delivery service. Only when is convenient for them and you don't get the opportunity to reschedule otherwise you are charged another $99 if you are not there at the time they choose. Every customer service agent who answers their phones has the worst attitude like the company is somehow doing you a favor by delivering their items to you whenever they please and charging you for that inconvenience. We have cancelled the order and in case you feel lost so it's not all negative, Bob's Discount Furniture offers a years warranty as a guarantee, they have flexible delivery options and the lady I spoke to on the phone was pleasant and happy to help and answer all questions. Don't buy from a place that doesn't trust their own products enough to offer even the most basic of warranties without forcing you to buy an insurance from them, and don't let a service that you have paid for dictate what your schedule is going to be. To any Ashley staff who might read this, you need to do better at every step of your sales process.

I am a previous employee at FDE, the franchise which owns this Ashley. Due to this, I am a faithful customer now that I have moved on and opened my own business. Yesterday, I walked in the store and paid for my order in cash, and the store manager literally had me in the store for over two hours while they checked every single bill to make sure they weren’t counterfeit, using multiple tests—the inflated scanner and a pen. On its own this is not irresponsible. However, it was exceptionally idiotic and foolish to delay my purchase, and interrupt my day to check cash when it is impossible for me to walk out of the store with the furniture and it wasn’t due to be delivered for another two weeks. I am surprised at FDE for hiring a manager like this. I’m not going to say it was racist, however I’m positive it was. I would love nothing more than to cancel my order. However, Victor, my salesperson, was great. In fact, the only reason why I didn’t cancel my order was because I did not want to allow the store manager to ruin his sale. Do not go to this location if you are in any minority. You will be better treated elsewhere.

The salespeople were very nice when I went to Ashley. I had been shopping around and had a good idea of what I wanted so I was ready to buy. It was supposed to be the “big” Fourth of July sale so I wanted to get in on the sale before it ended. It was apparently the standard 20% off. Regardless, when I got home I had an email from Ashley showing all the same furniture (large sectional and a sofa) for hundreds of dollars less online, including additional discounts. When I texted with my salesperson the next day to tell her, she said they price match all the time, no big deal. They were to credit me on the new Ashley credit card I opened to get 0% financing (that’s what they told me anyway). I have been patiently waiting for my refund of the $600 back, to no avail. The salesperson told me she would take care of it, which she did not. I have followed up with them probably three times. No one calls me back and the salesperson deleted all the texts with evidence of the price match, including pictures and the email I received online(I still have the photos). It’s too bad because I sent friends to this store, having recommended them. I am now left with a bad taste in my mouth and feeling like I got ripped off. I would have been better off just placing the order online. Shame on you Ashley… not a nice way to treat customers who just spend thousands of dollars on new furniture. I am giving 3 stars because I like the furniture…despite the delivery guy getting my cream color sofa dirty before it was even set up.

Worst Furniture store in the world! SCAM artists! And thief’s and liars!!! DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY!!! THEY SHIULD BE SHUT DOWN!! I’ll be contacting BBB!! They gave us a broken couch that we paid for brand new we told them upon delivery the couch is messed up. They refused to exchange or refund us, and they just kept sending mechanics to come fix my couch like it was an old Buick. Then after contacting the Better Business Bureau, they called me and gave me the option to only re-select a couch in store but I had three days to do it. We re-selected a more expensive couch because at this point we just wanted something nice. They set up the delivery date 5 days before the delivery we received a confirmation email saying our delivery will be here September 12 yesterday we received an email saying some how our couch is will not come until November with no other explanation. It’s been months without a couch. No one ever came to fix a broken one and now we have to wait months to get our new one that we over paid for. Do you want all our money back and you owe us money for taking off time for work, and you will hear from our attorneys!!!!! this company should be put out of business. No one please ever buy from this company ever terrible.

Stopped into Ashley Store and were lucky enough that Devin came over to ask if we needed help... We usually frown upon the sales people coming over or lingering... He did not do this...He pointed us in direction, gave us time to browse, checked in with us, gave us pointers and answered any questions. When we had an idea Devin came back to us moved tables around and we ended up getting a beautiful sectional, end & center table.. If you're in search for furniture GO SEE DEVIN... you won't be disappointed ■ update... due to RUDE communication with delivery warehouse we were told to "get a refund" if we didn't like that our delivery would need to be broken up into multiple days and we had to pay more.... We went to local store and GOT REFUND It had nothing to do with rep selling furniture but our treatment after spending close to 14k■

We had such a good experience with the sofa & Loveseat that we bought a year ago that when I needed a recliner for medical reasons, we went to Ashley to check them out. The sales woman, Sherry, knew exactly what the doctor described that I should get and showed the pros and cons of several recliners. I decided to look no further and purchased one for delivery in September. If I had one complaint, it would be that their selection of "zero-gravity recliners" (as I learned they are called -from Sherry), was too few.

Our associate Joe was welcoming right from the start. When we walked in, he listened to our vision and the type of couch we were looking for. Joe took us through the store and proceeded to have us try different couches to narrow down our likes and dislikes about different couches. This was a great experience, as we all know, furniture shopping is not the easiest. We will be looking into Ashley’s for further purchases.

We worked with Samantha and Benji after going to three other big furniture stores, and we absolutely LOVED them. They were the only ones to ask specific questions about our house to try and picture our space and suggest exactly what would work for us and our space. They were not pushy and very knowledgeable. We wound up finding the perfect furniture for our living room and will definitely be back when we need furniture in the future.

Took away our old set and put together the new one. Friendly and helpful. My only complaint is they left a lot of debris around the apt complex and near the dumpster. Our property manager complained to us, and said he had to pick up after them.

THIS STORE AND THEIR EMPLOYEES ARE TERRIBLE. Our furniture arrived 10 DAYS LATE because of delays on Ashley Furniture's end and Ashley REFUSED to provide compensation for the delay. The assistant manager Anthony (Tony) Barrett is deceptive, rude, and disrespectful. Anthony pretended like he could not help, pawning the delay off to customer service. Anthony then blamed us, the customers, for the delay. Customer service stated that they could not help, only the actual store could resolve the delay. No one at the Farmingdale store answers the main phone line, no matter what time you call. Both store employees and the customer service team routinely state what they can do to help; neither party ever follows up to phone calls. THIS WAS A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I would not wish this upon my worst enemy and I WILL DEFINITELY NOT BE RECOMMENDING Ashley Furniture to anyone.

You now have a customer for life cause of Devin. We will be going back in next 2 weeks to purchase new living room set and outdoor furniture.

Worst experience ever. They had me fill a credit card application without informing what it was. I already have a credit card with synchrony bank and had told the sales person to pull up my account and he ended up having me open a new card. They also added protection plan to my purchase without my knowledge and when I questioned the invoice and asked to take off the protection plan, I was given an attitude and an answer that “they were trying to get home to their kids”. I was told someone from the store would call to take care of the credit card issue but no one called. I have been trying to call the store for hours now and haven’t been able to connect with anyone.I d never go to this particular location ever.

Had a wonderful experience with our salesman Bryson while shopping for an end table for my daughters room. Had a specific piece, size and color we wanted, and he was beyond helpful. Very polite, professional and could answer all our questions. His coworkers were also very friendly. Also didn’t hurt that we don’t have to wait 6-8 weeks for this piece! Very positive experience shopping at this store.

At first when i went to see the furniture i was treated amazingly by sky and Benji they treated us like royalty as the next day when i pick up my items i was treated so bad and even felt the racist comments towards my dad because hes english is not that good they made us felt so unwelcome and they only helped us by opening the door when i was told the day before they was going to help us load everything on the truck! I guess dont do pick up on the store they treat you different after they got money from you

We shopped at this Farmingdale’s Ashley bedroom furniture. We had our child to test the comfort level on some of mattresses. Even though we like an online bed from another merchant better, we preferred to purchase a mattress that our child had actually tested. So, we showed the detail online specification of a bed to an Ashley’s sale person Ahmet there, and asked him to select a mattress thickness that would make the final bed height to be about 25-26 inches. He eventually selected and sold us a $663.99 mattress. Note this itemized receipt they provided to us only had model number without detail description of any item. Our total purchase of all the furnitures from this Ashley was about $9000. When Ashley delivered our furnitures, we still did not have the bed from the online merchant and still did not know the mattress selected would make a bed height of 30 inches. Soon after our bed arrived, we complaint this situation to Ashley. Both the Farmingdale store staffs and call center operators claimed once the item is delivered, there would be no exchange or return. We expressed this situation was solely due to a mattress selection mistake (intention or not) from Ashley staff that did not match our request. The sale would not even took place if it would not be its staff’s mistake. Furthermore, a 30 inches bed would be for a tall adult, not a child. This sale person certainly aware this is for a child. Our child’s foot does not even touch the floor if sit on the bed side. Safety would be a major concern to use this mattress for the child. Under a bed time condition, twisting an ankle is a real possibility for child who may not be so awake trying to go to bathroom in the dark. We asked both the Farmingdale store and call center to take responsibility of this sale, which was clearly misled by a staff before the sale even took place. It has been about a week that the store including operation lead Amaar and call center routed us back and forth, not answered our calls, hang up our calls. At one point, we requested to discuss this with a manager on the call center and reached a person name Uriel, who we discussed this situation for over an hour, and he said would reach back to us in 48 hours following the call. Of course, he never did. Another phone operator of a subsequent call told us there is no such person. Regardless of whether this is avoidance tactic, the operation at Ashley is full of inconsistency. In summary, Ashley staffs use the argument that once deliver, there is no return or exchange. It has never addressed the responsibility misleading sale and mistake by Ashley and its staffs that those places even before the sale, especially clear disregard customer request: specification of 25-26 inches bed height. Furthermore, it disregards customer and child’s safety consideration: 30 inches bed is too high for a child.

We visited the store on 11/11 and dealt with both Benjamin and his manager. We walked out purchasing sofa, mattress and adjustable base totaling about $16k. When we got home and did some homework, it turns out their online price and their competitors were less meanwhile he said the Tempur pricing is same all over. I called the next day and spoke with the manager and I questioned why the adjustable bases were $200 more. He gave some excuse that it’s 2.0 newer model and made from eucalyptus wood which was all lies. I called directly Tempur pedic and they confirmed no such thing. They gave me a hard time to cancel the sale but after numerous calls, they said they would. I was already partially charged on my credit card and until now, almost a month later, still not refunded.

The delivery was a few hours earlier than anticipated but I was happy about that. The delivery men were fast, efficient and respectful of my home and new furniture at all times. Natasha from the farmingdale showroom was very nice, but now i see it was all for show and to make a sale for commission. I will never purchase anything from Ashley's furniture again. This was my first and last time buying. I was told lots of lies at the moment of the purchase, one thing I stressed about was the cleaning or maintenance of the furniture, i was told to purchase a 5 yr "maintenance plan" which i stupidly did, when i needed maintenance, the story was diffrent, non existing plan. I wasted over $10,000 in furniture, and the customer service is really horrible. The delivery guys broke one of my walls, and a piece of furniture was cracked. Customer service will give you hell to fix any problem even when I purchased expensive insurance. I also had issues with my couches, which are still not resolved.

Went in to purchase a painting off the wall that I had seen while in shopping with my sister a few weeks ago. Tony recognized us right away and could not have been more helpful, even going to the back to find it since it was no longer hanging and they weren’t sure if they still had it. He quickly found it and made the purchase as easy as possible. Such a warm, kind, friendly salesperson with no pressure either time!
