I recently made a purchase at Ashley furniture store located on Route 110 the staff was great but I decided to cancel the order and I had the hardest time getting my money refunded back I physically went back to store spoke with salesperson along with management and I was told no problem to cancel and that it would be done I followed up the next day and it was never done I then contacted Ashley customer service line and informed them of what I had done they then contacted the store and told me it would be cancelled I later still found out through my bank that I was charged and it that it posted I now have to put in a charge dispute with my bank because it seems Ashley staff and customer support are not helping me So beware if for whatever reason you do buy and have to cancel order
Chris was really great! He was nice and professional, and explained everything that we needed to know concerning any offers and services. My mom and I even got some hot chocolate and coffee from the staff 😋

Joseph was a nice sales guy and the reason why I came back to patronize this store above the others. We had shopped other places but chose this store. The management team is inept and unprofessional. I was offered a 10% discount off of three pieces of furniture by the sales person and had agreed to buy them for that price. I continued to purchase other items. One on clearance, and a mattress. I was also going to be returning to purchase a dining room table with 4 extra chairs. I was also offered additional discounts there. A manager came over when we were finalizing the transaction saying to the salesperson, “I’m your T.O”. His name was Paul. He is in dire need of training. I would not recommend using inside business terms with a customer present. It’s tacky and doesn’t present well. This checking out ordeal must have went on for no less than 30 minutes while my family sat in furniture waiting for it to be completed. There was a flyer that I have that states 10% off on regular priced merchandise which is where I thought the salesperson was offering his discount from. The management team said they couldn’t give the 10% off and that they would have to raise the price to a higher price to give that discount. What? Yes, this is what was said. Your pamphlet does not meet advertising guidelines set by the New York states attorney general. The disclaimer font is smaller that the legal size required. I was told the explanation was in there. I could not read it. I will not be returning to the store and plan on writing reviews on yelp and google. I will also be contacting the AG office and be filing a complaint with the BBB. This is certainly not over a discount of $150.00. It’s the principle of offering one, having a flyer that’s states there is one, and not honoring it. Ads are required to be clear to consumers. When they are not, it’s considered deception and are illegal. Sad that your management team is unwilling or unable to handle a small customer service issue and allow it to turn to this. I will be formalizing my complaint in greater detail. I would like someone to contact me. I will not speak to a manager from the store. They are the cause of this. A company of your size should be ashamed of operating in this way.

They tried to deliver twice when we opened it to check for damage, and both deliveries came damaged from the factory. We decided to cancel.
Paul was so helpful and knowledgable in helping us make the right choice for our dresser! He grasped what we were looking for in terms of wood color and style. He gave great recommendations and even knew about our new neighborhood and recommended a great sushi spot! We will definitely be back for more furniture from Paul!

I went to farmingdale Ashley furniture. Spoke with a manager named Sabir. He denied the reselection which other Ashley furniture stores allows in one day. Even though I told him I am ready to buy few furniture today, he told me to select furniture and come another day. He treated me different than how he treated my husband. I have never been treated this way in any furniture store in my life.

In April of 2022 I purchased the Tanavi modular sectional. I’m writing today 2 years later to let your company know that I have never regretted a purchase so much in my entire life. The couch looks like it’s 10 years old. The fabric of this couch is the worst quality I’ve ever seen. I have spent hours of my time trying to remove the pilling so that I’m not embarrassed when having company over. Shame on Ashley furniture for selling this product and practically stealing money from people. I’d also like to add that I purchased Ashley’s “protection plan” for stains and rips. I have been trying to use this protection plan for stains I have gotten on this god awful couch and conveniently no one is able to help me. Which does not surprise me. To wrap this up I will let you know that I will never ever be purchasing one more single item from Ashley furniture, nor will I allow any family members or friends. I will let them know how badly Ashley furniture has let me down. Now that my couch is wrecked 2 years after purchasing, I need to go purchase a new one. But make no mistake I’d rather sit on the ground then waste my money on another product from Ashley furniture.

In reviewing my recent purchase, I must say that Jill, my associate, was absolutely amazing in assisting me throughout the process. Her professionalism and expertise were evident as she guided me through the options and helped me make an informed decision. She was attentive to my needs and provided excellent customer service, making the purchasing experience smooth and enjoyable. I truly appreciate Jill's dedication and positive attitude, which made a significant difference in my overall satisfaction with the product. However, it's worth mentioning that the manager, Dana, had a nice but subtly negative undertone in their interactions, which could have been improved upon. Dana could learn a lot from Jill in terms of providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a positive attitude. Despite this, Jill's outstanding support and assistance truly made my experience a positive one. Thank you, Jill, for your exceptional service! After 6 1/2 hours of inconvenience I learned that Dana was not the manger she was district manager that didn’t want to bother to solve the issue and when I asked to speak to her she had already left the store. I feel that the store should cover the delivery cost after many hours in the store.

I would never shop at Ashley’s again. This place has the worst customer service. Their employees are quick to sell you their products but will disappear on you when they’ve made an error. We ordered a sectional sofa and were charged full price for the sofa. We were missing a piece and when we told them about it they charged us for another piece!!! We were double charged and the charges were never taken off. Marco the store manager originally told us that because of the inconvenience the store would eat up the cost of the piece and practically just deliver it to us for free however we were charged TWICE for a piece we originally were missing. Not to mention the quality of the sofa’s are unbearable. THEY ALSO LIED ABOUT THE DELIVERY DATE!!! Henri-Ann, specifically told us that if we don’t like our mattress or sofa we can return it at any time, PLEASE DON’T LET THEM LIE TO YOU. PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND NEVER PURCHASE FROM HERE!
The absolute worst experience of my life! We made over a $15,000 purchase in buying our new home furniture. They messed up our order, the quality of the sofa’s were disgusting. And the people that work there absolutely lied to us. Told us we can change our minds and return at any time but once the furniture is in your home you’re stuck with it, even if it’s not the right thing. Absolute disaster! NEVER AGAIN!!!

Our first encounter was with Chris at the farmingdale location and to say the very least, his patience and understanding was really the reason why we decided to go with Ashely’s. We have made our rounds for the perfect sectional couch, but always felt as they saw us as a dollar sign. Never valued, and never felt as if they really truly cared if would be happy with purchase at the end of the day. I give Ashley’s 5 star rating all across the board. I am Mandie’s guest who doesn’t have a Gmail only a yahoo email. So I am writing this review from her device. I wanted to make sure she has 5 stars in service. Mandie and Marco were very kind respectful patient and amazing with selling us the Mandem loveseat. We saw a set at Raymour and Flannigan but the one we saw at Ashley’s was way better with the leather and price. My husband and I had a great conversation with her about similar dogs we have owned. Terrible Sales men and women. They are not trained and have no idea what items they are selling NOR do they even know the options available to the customer. At the 4th visit to the store my wife got into an actual Yelling Conflict with a VERY RUDE Female Representative That was claimed to be the "one in Charge".... So After getting kicked out of the store... I returned in the morning To Talk to Steve (original Sales "Manager") and finally got things resolved. Took 5 Visits and 3 Phone Calls To Customer Relations Supervisors to get it squared away.... On top of it all the delivery drivers scratched 3 fresh painted walls AND Dinged a Stained Oak Bedroom Door.... There were screws missing in the assembly of dressers and draws... Can't Give NO STARS. Save the headache and go to Bob's... Same Quality Furniture - without the hassle of sales people coming at you like sea gulls and having the same knowledge of the furniture. 👎🏼

Ashely Farmingdale and Ashely overall customer service is horrible , I wrote a review in Jan how we were lied to and how the sales person Ganesh lied to us in every aspect especially about a gift he had us pick out and we never got and also how he said he was going to price match the items and said it will reflect in our bill. which never did. even wrote a email to Ashley were I sent them my invoice , no answer yet 2 months later. I guess Ashley doesn't really care about there customers, might have to seek legal action For there false advertising. Be aware and stay from Ashely furniture especially the one in Farmindgale LI , never had a issue with Raymond and flanigan
I never usually write reviews but after my amazing experience with Kevin in the Farmingdale store I have to. Kevin was very friendly and listened to what we wanted and what we were looking for. Kevin made our shopping experience fun and stress-free. The store manager Sam Was also super nice . Go into the Ashley's in Farmingdale and ask for Kevin if you're looking for furniture you will thank me.

We came into the store for the first time ever. We were a little overwhelmed but as soon as we came in we were greeted by Henri-Ann. She helped us navigate the store, listened to what we were looking for and guided us to the perfect matches for what we need. We purchased a new mattress at the farmingdale NY location. We were helped by Emily Cruz and she could not have been more helpful! We weren't sure what we needed and she took the time to walk us through the selection within our price range. She was informative, helpful and so sweet! I would definitely ask for her when we have our next furniture needs. I would definitely recommend any one with furniture needs to seriously consider going to Ashley furniture and ask for Emily. I’ve been a loyal customer for many years with Ashley’s. This is by far my worst experience. First being told our furniture was coming on a certain day just to be rescheduled the day before the scheduled time. Being told over and over that a manager will call me. NO CALL! So I went to the store waited over an hour to speak with a sales manager Marco. He said he would reach out in two days. I reached out after 4 days with no contact, he ghosted me. We finally got our delivery yesterday and the wedge for the center of the couch was broken upon arrival, someone from customer service said they will call back within 5 mins after 3 hours we had to call back just to be told there’s no eta on a replacement and they will call back. Utterly disappointing!!!

The fine print for any in store purchases states no returns, regardless if it was delivered damaged. If you order from the store, make sure you flip over every piece of furniture at delivery to inspect every angle even though the drivers will rush you. Paid $400 for an ottoman, arrived damaged, Ashely’s refuses to help.

Do not ever order off the Ashley website. It is a front for 3rd party vendors, which and I quote Ashley customer service: "We have no control over". If you order something by mistake or find it for a better price and try to cancel the order, even if it is been only one hour, they make you fill out a cancellation request form. This form never gets processed and your mistaken order ships. When you complain, customer service places all the blame on you, pointing out microscopic fine print about 3rd party vendors and how you should have done follow-ups even if it has not been 24 hours since the order. The microscopic fine print says no returns once an item ships. If you try to cancel, they simple ignore you until it ships, and then say, and I quote again, "There is nothing we can do."
Do not buy anything from Ashley Furniture. I purchased a sectional on Sept 16, 2023 from Ashley in Farmingdale New York. I paid over $3,000. I hardly use the couch since we have a sectional in our Den. After entertaining on Thanksgiving, I noticed that the entire couch was pilling. In December, I filed a claim with the protection company ( I purchased the extra protection). I waited several weeks for a response for the claim. Today, I finally heard back from them and was denied help since pilling is not covered. I immediately called Ashley to tell them what is happening to my hardly used three month old couch. I spoke to the manager, Urial, he told me that pilling is not a manufacturers defect and said there is nothing he could do to help me. Clearly the manufacturer is using inferior fabric and should stand by their product and make restitution to innocent consumers. I was told to purchase a fabric shaver to fix the problem!!! I would have been better off buying a $1500 couch from Bob's. Ashley furniture should be out of business with these terrible ethics and defective, cheap fabrics they are using.
I loved the store but really Samantha made the experience that way she is extremely helpful and so nice and warming to customers that's how me an my husband feel. Samantha is a benefit for your company. Also I loved the furniture in the store I love what I ordered an when it's time for new furniture I will return.

Amanda and Devin were so helpful and knowledgeable! We had been to multiple stores that had 1 or 2 beds with storage under it (which is what we wanted) - Amanda showed us 6 beds with storage and explained each bed and the different variations of each. She helped us make the best decision. She then introduced us to Devin who is the mattress specialist - he had us test out multiple beds & pillows until we found the best fit. He explained the way the mattress we decided to go with worked and why it would help with our back pain, husband’s snoring, and my acid reflux. I am so glad we stopped at Ashley and am looking forward to working with Amanda and Devin again!

Worst experience at Ashley in Farmingdale, we would looking for new living room and bedroom set for our new home we just bought. We were greeted by sales person Ganesh, he was helping us out, as he was giving us pricing on the all the things we were looking for , we were checking them also online at Ashley were we was seeing the prices were significantly less online and then Ganesh tells us you don’t want to buy from the online store because they are cheaper materials and not from the same warehouse as the In store items , which was a lie , because we called and then said that was not true. Anything that is ordered online or in store comes from the same warehouse. Then he proceeded to tell me and my wife with the purchases he will give us a free gift , a center table for the living room. This was in Nov 23 we are now in Jan 24 no gift ever came and we when we called him about it not answer or text. Another lie. Then we asked him to price match as he was selling us a bed frame that online was 2k cheaper he told us that if he did that he would affect his commission and that he would look into it. A couple of days later we called again and he said he would price match and we would see it in first bill the price difference. Another lie. Haven’t seen anything. Worst experience ever. Definitely a sale person that only cared about himself and his commission then how his client felt . I have been in sales for over 15 yrs and I know any company I would have worked for if I lied like Ganesh did I definitely would have been fired for all the lies and broken promises. So I warn anyone don’t go to the Ashely Farmingdale and if you do be beware for Ganesh , definitely lie and take advantage of you with were the items come from , pricing and also about getting a gift. Better just to walk down the street to Raymond and Flanigan, better customer services and they don’t lie to there customers like GANESH did. It’s funny how it took Ashley 2 Months to get back to us about the situation and then the store has the nerve to lie about and Ganesh and that he was a intern and just started working there. When he told us he has been working there for more the 2yrs and has reviews all the way back as 3, 4 and 6 months before our review. The store should definitely looking into there facts before they lie to corporate and to there customers. I can already think if management lies , I can imagine the sales people that work there. As they say the Apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. BE AWARE OF Ashley of Farmingdale especially if you run into Ganesh the biggest lier there.

The 0% finance was offered, but not pushed, and save goes for the insurance. Overall great experience. Marco was very helpful in assisting as well and ensured we were happy with our selection.

The customer service is horrible.Trying to get through to them AFTER the purchase is impossible.The farmingdale outlet doesn't ever pick up the phone, and customer service on line has you go through the whole story, then tells you to try again with the store. When I finally got through, I was told I shouldn't have accepted delivery, and there was nothing that could be done.Don't go there!!!!

Part 1 of this experience: Devin was great in finalizing my sale and helping me make a custom configuration for our new couch. Samaiyah was great, too. She helped me find the right model for my style and comfort needs. As team, these two were great to work with. Thanks for all your help! Make sure to ask for either when you arrive! PART 2. On 12/9, the date my sales rep and I discussed to be the day our couch would be delivered, I had NOT received any communication about my order. I call customer service in the morning (even though my contract CLEARLY states the company will contact me IMMEDIATELY if there are any changes to my order) to find out our furniture will not be arriving until JANUARY 18. After speaking with multiple representatives, all the company can tell me is “we understand your frustration. This should have never happened. I will handle it personally from here on out.” To be clear… I did everything on my end to be ready for our delivery- removed all furniture for the delivery on that day. So, as much as “I understand your frustration” is customer service worthy… 5 1/2 weeks of sitting on our floor is UNACCEPTABLE. But it’s okay because they understand my frustration….? Why am I reaching out and checking to see if Ashley is doing their jobs when I am fully prepared on my end? Cancelling Christmas breakfasts and hosting events because we don’t want our guests sitting on the floor is frustrating, yes. The inability to use our living room for 5 1/2 weeks is frustrating, yes. The lack of communication has absolutely turned me away from trusting this company and I will no longer be making future purchases. If I didn’t spend 3 months searching for the couch I really wanted, I’d cancel my order entirely. I’ve taken a star away for every week we will be sitting on the floor instead of our previous furniture because no one had the professionalism to contact us. The delivery process better be a more positive experience. If anything arrives damaged or incorrect, I will be seeking an ENTIRE refund and NOT store credit. This will NOT be tolerated. Samaiyah from Ashley Furniture of Farmingdale was awesome. You know how it usually goes when you go furniture shopping. The sales person follows you around like a creeper. I went about a month ago to the same location and the salesman was like stalking my sister and me, and so we left. I even tried asking him to give me space and he said yes and apologized but still stalked us, so we left and went to Raymor across the street. I didn’t buy anything that day because that man really just ruined the moment, anyways… I went with my husband today and when we entered Samaiyah greeted us, I quickly explained that my husband and I were looking for a living-room and dining room set but I politely asked for her to give us space and I told her we would reach out if we decided on something we liked. She agreed, texted me her name and then fell back. A little later she brought us a flyer with a few discounts, which we thanked her and again she stayed away. When my husband and I liked an item she was quick to respond, she was attentive and understood our vision. Thank you Samaiyah We really appreciate all your assistance.

If there was a checklist of how to treat your customers like they are your personal ATM, Ashley would reign supreme. Went to the store knowing the exact sofa and model that I wanted, I only wanted to pay and place the order as for some reason there is a shorter delivery time if you don't order online. They had me standing around waiting for the only member of staff who was allowed to operate the computers for over 45 minutes, then they quietly ask if you want to buy their insurance for 2 years, and that's when you find out that they don't trust their own products to back them even with a limited manufacturer's warranty, and to get protection you are forced to buy their insurance from them, I don't like being strong-armed into spending more money for things that should be a standard offering. Then, if they comped the delivery fee for free I would understand their terrible attitude towards their deliveries, but despite the fact that you are paying for the delivery, they will give you zero options in choosing a date or time that is convenient for you, the paying customer who has already paid for this delivery service. Only when is convenient for them and you don't get the opportunity to reschedule otherwise you are charged another $99 if you are not there at the time they choose. Every customer service agent who answers their phones has the worst attitude like the company is somehow doing you a favor by delivering their items to you whenever they please and charging you for that inconvenience. We have cancelled the order and in case you feel lost so it's not all negative, Bob's Discount Furniture offers a years warranty as a guarantee, they have flexible delivery options and the lady I spoke to on the phone was pleasant and happy to help and answer all questions. Don't buy from a place that doesn't trust their own products enough to offer even the most basic of warranties without forcing you to buy an insurance from them, and don't let a service that you have paid for dictate what your schedule is going to be. To any Ashley staff who might read this, you need to do better at every step of your sales process.
I am a previous employee at FDE, the franchise which owns this Ashley. Due to this, I am a faithful customer now that I have moved on and opened my own business. Yesterday, I walked in the store and paid for my order in cash, and the store manager literally had me in the store for over two hours while they checked every single bill to make sure they weren’t counterfeit, using multiple tests—the inflated scanner and a pen. On its own this is not irresponsible. However, it was exceptionally idiotic and foolish to delay my purchase, and interrupt my day to check cash when it is impossible for me to walk out of the store with the furniture and it wasn’t due to be delivered for another two weeks. I am surprised at FDE for hiring a manager like this. I’m not going to say it was racist, however I’m positive it was. I would love nothing more than to cancel my order. However, Victor, my salesperson, was great. In fact, the only reason why I didn’t cancel my order was because I did not want to allow the store manager to ruin his sale. Do not go to this location if you are in any minority. You will be better treated elsewhere.
The salespeople were very nice when I went to Ashley. I had been shopping around and had a good idea of what I wanted so I was ready to buy. It was supposed to be the “big” Fourth of July sale so I wanted to get in on the sale before it ended. It was apparently the standard 20% off. Regardless, when I got home I had an email from Ashley showing all the same furniture (large sectional and a sofa) for hundreds of dollars less online, including additional discounts. When I texted with my salesperson the next day to tell her, she said they price match all the time, no big deal. They were to credit me on the new Ashley credit card I opened to get 0% financing (that’s what they told me anyway). I have been patiently waiting for my refund of the $600 back, to no avail. The salesperson told me she would take care of it, which she did not. I have followed up with them probably three times. No one calls me back and the salesperson deleted all the texts with evidence of the price match, including pictures and the email I received online(I still have the photos). It’s too bad because I sent friends to this store, having recommended them. I am now left with a bad taste in my mouth and feeling like I got ripped off. I would have been better off just placing the order online. Shame on you Ashley… not a nice way to treat customers who just spend thousands of dollars on new furniture. I am giving 3 stars because I like the furniture…despite the delivery guy getting my cream color sofa dirty before it was even set up.
Worst Furniture store in the world! SCAM artists! And thief’s and liars!!! DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY!!! THEY SHIULD BE SHUT DOWN!! I’ll be contacting BBB!! They gave us a broken couch that we paid for brand new we told them upon delivery the couch is messed up. They refused to exchange or refund us, and they just kept sending mechanics to come fix my couch like it was an old Buick. Then after contacting the Better Business Bureau, they called me and gave me the option to only re-select a couch in store but I had three days to do it. We re-selected a more expensive couch because at this point we just wanted something nice. They set up the delivery date 5 days before the delivery we received a confirmation email saying our delivery will be here September 12 yesterday we received an email saying some how our couch is will not come until November with no other explanation. He did not do this...He pointed us in direction, gave us time to browse, checked in with us, gave us pointers and answered any questions. When we had an idea Devin came back to us moved tables around and we ended up getting a beautiful sectional, end & center table.. We had such a good experience with the sofa & Loveseat that we bought a year ago that when I needed a recliner for medical reasons, we went to Ashley to check them out. The sales woman, Sherry, knew exactly what the doctor described that I should get and showed the pros and cons of several recliners. I decided to look no further and purchased one for delivery in September. If I had one complaint, it would be that their selection of "zero-gravity recliners" (as I learned they are called -from Sherry), was too few.

Purchased the 5 star warranty. Good luck trying to get something fixed if it ever breaks or needs repair. Nobody picks up the phone anymore. You can try to do this online but they keep requesting for more pictures. They make it difficult so people get tired of calling and waiting for someone to assist them. Customer service is becoming non existent.

Our associate Joe was welcoming right from the start. When we walked in, he listened to our vision and the type of couch we were looking for. Joe took us through the store and proceeded to have us try different couches to narrow down our likes and dislikes about different couches. This was a great experience, as we all know, furniture shopping is not the easiest. We will be looking into Ashley’s for further purchases.

We worked with Samantha and Benji after going to three other big furniture stores, and we absolutely LOVED them. They were the only ones to ask specific questions about our house to try and picture our space and suggest exactly what would work for us and our space. They were not pushy and very knowledgeable. We wound up finding the perfect furniture for our living room and will definitely be back when we need furniture in the future.

The salesman Benjie was great/ helpful but not pushy. Sat with me awhile helping me figure out which plan was better for me financially. I love the new bedroom set! The delivery guys were also good. Took away our old set and put together the new one. Friendly and helpful. My only complaint is they left a lot of debris around the apt complex and near the dumpster. Our property manager complained to us, and said he had to pick up after them.

THIS STORE AND THEIR EMPLOYEES ARE TERRIBLE. Our furniture arrived 10 DAYS LATE because of delays on Ashley Furniture's end and Ashley REFUSED to provide compensation for the delay. The assistant manager Anthony (Tony) Barrett is deceptive, rude, and disrespectful. Anthony pretended like he could not help, pawning the delay off to customer service. Anthony then blamed us, the customers, for the delay. Customer service stated that they could not help, only the actual store could resolve the delay. No one at the Farmingdale store answers the main phone line, no matter what time you call. Both store employees and the customer service team routinely state what they can do to help; neither party ever follows up to phone calls. THIS WAS A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I would not wish this upon my worst enemy and I WILL DEFINITELY NOT BE RECOMMENDING Ashley Furniture to anyone.

Worst experience ever. They had me fill a credit card application without informing what it was. I already have a credit card with synchrony bank and had told the sales person to pull up my account and he ended up having me open a new card. They also added protection plan to my purchase without my knowledge and when I questioned the invoice and asked to take off the protection plan, I was given an attitude and an answer that “they were trying to get home to their kids”. I was told someone from the store would call to take care of the credit card issue but no one called. I have been trying to call the store for hours now and haven’t been able to connect with anyone.I d never go to this particular location ever.

At first when i went to see the furniture i was treated amazingly by sky and Benji they treated us like royalty as the next day when i pick up my items i was treated so bad and even felt the racist comments towards my dad because hes english is not that good they made us felt so unwelcome and they only helped us by opening the door when i was told the day before they was going to help us load everything on the truck! I guess dont do pick up on the store they treat you different after they got money from you

We shopped at this Farmingdale’s Ashley bedroom furniture. We had our child to test the comfort level on some of mattresses. Even though we like an online bed from another merchant better, we preferred to purchase a mattress that our child had actually tested. So, we showed the detail online specification of a bed to an Ashley’s sale person Ahmet there, and asked him to select a mattress thickness that would make the final bed height to be about 25-26 inches. He eventually selected and sold us a $663.99 mattress. Note this itemized receipt they provided to us only had model number without detail description of any item. Our total purchase of all the furnitures from this Ashley was about $9000. When Ashley delivered our furnitures, we still did not have the bed from the online merchant and still did not know the mattress selected would make a bed height of 30 inches. Soon after our bed arrived, we complaint this situation to Ashley. Both the Farmingdale store staffs and call center operators claimed once the item is delivered, there would be no exchange or return. We expressed this situation was solely due to a mattress selection mistake (intention or not) from Ashley staff that did not match our request. The sale would not even took place if it would not be its staff’s mistake. Furthermore, a 30 inches bed would be for a tall adult, not a child. This sale person certainly aware this is for a child. Our child’s foot does not even touch the floor if sit on the bed side. Safety would be a major concern to use this mattress for the child. Under a bed time condition, twisting an ankle is a real possibility for child who may not be so awake trying to go to bathroom in the dark. We asked both the Farmingdale store and call center to take responsibility of this sale, which was clearly misled by a staff before the sale even took place. It has been about a week that the store including operation lead Amaar and call center routed us back and forth, not answered our calls, hang up our calls. At one point, we requested to discuss this with a manager on the call center and reached a person name Uriel, who we discussed this situation for over an hour, and he said would reach back to us in 48 hours following the call. Of course, he never did. Another phone operator of a subsequent call told us there is no such person. Regardless of whether this is avoidance tactic, the operation at Ashley is full of inconsistency. In summary, Ashley staffs use the argument that once deliver, there is no return or exchange. It has never addressed the responsibility misleading sale and mistake by Ashley and its staffs that those places even before the sale, especially clear disregard customer request: specification of 25-26 inches bed height. Furthermore, it disregards customer and child’s safety consideration: 30 inches bed is too high for a child.

My mother and I had a great experience shopping for a new bed and mattress. Our sales associate, Bengie, gave great recommendations based on what we were looking for. With just a few questions, he was able to recommend solid options and we landed on the best one to match my mother’s needs. After a poor experience at another Ashley location a couple of years ago we were very reluctant to shop here, but Bengie and Chris made it a stress free and enjoyable experience. Worst customer service. Delivery guy dropped off furniture and they knew they broke a piece and actually tried to screw it to fix it. We didn't notice it until they left. He was rushing us and said he has other deliveries. The place where they screwed is where he was standing. We called the delivery guy and he said call customer service and he can pick it up and hanged up right after. Didn't even give us the chance to ask for a number. We called the customer service number we found online and they couldn't find the account using the phone number, zip code or order number. They just kept saying they can't help us and call the store we ordered from. We called again and same lady picked up - her name was Dion. We called again and got a "different" person with another name but sounded the same. After going through the same verification process unsuccessfully she mentioned the store we ordered from is a flagship store and we would have to call their customer service. We called the flagship store and it felt like they were guilting us and saying it our fault and we should have taken our time. In conclusion this company is horrible and I would suggest you take your business else where. These guys don't even wear disposable shoe covers and they say they can't take their shoes off. Other companies we have ordered furniture from cover their shoes without asking and have been so respectful. Even if they had some 60% off sale I wouldn't order from here again.

We visited the store on 11/11 and dealt with both Benjamin and his manager. We walked out purchasing sofa, mattress and adjustable base totaling about $16k. When we got home and did some homework, it turns out their online price and their competitors were less meanwhile he said the Tempur pricing is same all over. I called the next day and spoke with the manager and I questioned why the adjustable bases were $200 more. He gave some excuse that it’s 2.0 newer model and made from eucalyptus wood which was all lies. I called directly Tempur pedic and they confirmed no such thing. They gave me a hard time to cancel the sale but after numerous calls, they said they would. I was already partially charged on my credit card and until now, almost a month later, still not refunded.

Natasha from the farmingdale showroom was very nice, but now i see it was all for show and to make a sale for commission. I will never purchase anything from Ashley's furniture again. This was my first and last time buying. I was told lots of lies at the moment of the purchase, one thing I stressed about was the cleaning or maintenance of the furniture, i was told to purchase a 5 yr "maintenance plan" which i stupidly did, when i needed maintenance, the story was diffrent, non existing plan. I wasted over $10,000 in furniture, and the customer service is really horrible. The delivery guys broke one of my walls, and a piece of furniture was cracked. Customer service will give you hell to fix any problem even when I purchased expensive insurance. I also had issues with my couches, which are still not resolved.
Went in to purchase a painting off the wall that I had seen while in shopping with my sister a few weeks ago. Tony recognized us right away and could not have been more helpful, even going to the back to find it since it was no longer hanging and they weren’t sure if they still had it. He quickly found it and made the purchase as easy as possible. Such a warm, kind, friendly salesperson with no pressure either time! I loved doing business with Ashley furniture. The salesman was friendly and spent a lot of time with us to get to know me and find exactly what I wanted and needed. The delivery guys were prompt, worked quickly and put all the furniture where it needed to be. Customer service was efficient, explained everything to me and notified me by email and text exactly what pieces were coming and when the were coming. They gave me a 4 hour window of time and they were there within an hour. Took an hour to set up my whole bedroom and carried away the empty boxes and packing. Great service!

Wish I could give negative stars!! BUYER BEWARE!!! I posted a negative review 11 months ago in regards to a sectional I purchased. First, Ashley never notified me that my order was not in, then they delivered 2 different colors of my couch. After months of delays when I received my order almost every piece of furniture had minor damage which was repaired. However, in regards to my sectional the delivery men damaged the footrest. They "promised" to repair it otherwise I would have refused delivery!!! After my negative review in November a gentleman by the name of Austin who represents Ashley responded to my review & stated that "it is our goal to resolve these concerns to our guest's satisfaction as quickly as possible"!! At first, I really thought this was going to be resolved! However, it took over 6 months to receive the parts needed which they had already had sent me twice-don't they keep track??? I told them I had kept all the parts including the 2 pieces of leather which were ripped-don't they inspect what they send??? Then the ktechnician made the footrest WORSE!!! Once again I reached back out to Ashley & they are blatantly refusing to repair it!! I've tried going through the extended warranty which is a joke! They are absolutely horrible! I was notified they had no paperwork on my extended warranty. They have consumers file a claim on line & when you are done with the submission you receive a notification that they will be in touch within 48 hours which no one responded. I phoned them back again & they advised they need more info which again I submitted online. Once again you are notified that someone will be in touch with on 48 hours! Crickets!!! When I called them again & they advised that my issues aren't covered under the extended warranty!!
That was great experience with this store and thanks AHMET because he made my day perfect , his hospitality was great and very helpful , honestly I was not buy anything just I was going hangout my off day , but after meet with Ahmet I bought beautiful sectional for my living room and gorgeous bedroom set for my bedroom. It was I’ll about his personality and his talent :) , so anyway thanks to store and AHMET.

The quality of the furniture and the lack of customer service from the staff is overwhelming! We ordered a kitchen hightop set and bought the extended warranty. We had to have the table replaced three times because the paint on top kept peeling. After the third table peeled, they put the table out of stock. They gave us a $500 credit to use in their store. We went and picked out a different end table and lamp just to use the credit. When we were at the register they wanted to charge us $150 in delivery fee. I asked why are you charging us, you sold us defective furniture, and the operation manager behind the desk said, “who is going to pay the driver?” I said you are because you’ve sold us defective furniture. They would not budge. They even called a store manager over who also said no they won’t wave the delivery charge. I explain we already paid the delivery charge when you delivered the table to us. They could care less. After I complained about their customer service, they said they send an email to corporate to see if it can be waived. They said they’d be back in touch with us the next t day. After another week of not hearing from them my husband went to the store only to find out they won’t waive the fee. Now We have no choice but to pay the delivery charge otherwise we loss our credit. Their customer service and furniture stinks! Stay away! This is your Melville NY location.

Terrible customer service. I've spent 2 months trying to cancel an order that arrived damaged twice. I was told they handled it, but I never saw the refund or credit to my account balance. Called again and they said it's officially canceled and it's out of their hands now so the refund is not their responsibility anymore. I called synchrony who we are financing through, and they never received the cancellation. Now we have to file a dispute. Absolutely horrific experience.

horrible customer service what so ever... ordered our couch in march and its been delayed like three times. They told us the second part of the couch would come one week after the first part but it still hasnt come...nor have they notified us at all as if when its coming. Customer service is horrible !!! The delivery guys who put the first part of the couch together were asking for alcohol when they arrived at 10 AM. Just horrible . Do not purchase from here unless your ok with being given false info.

Excellent experience dealing with salesman Anthony Williams. Friendly but not pushy ,I was in Saturday and back on Sunday. He answered all my questions and still let me take some time making my decision on the furniture.
Terrible customer service. After months of shopping for the proper furniture, my order came in incomplete and wrong color. It has be 2 months now and still have not got a call back from sales person. On a different order they shipped the incorrect bed frame and still 2 months later have not heard back from them. Sales people only attend to you when it comes down to a sale. I would not recommend this location. Also check pricing on their website. Store increases their list price to make more money. Once I showed them that their website showed a lower price, then they corrected the price, otherwise they would’ve made more money. I’ve given a few months to see if maybe someone would contact me to give us an update or correct our order, but sales person nor manager never reached out. Now I’m stuck paying for something that I didn’t not order and something that is incomplete and incorrect. Definitely not good customer service.

I’m not sure how this location or any have more then 1 star. I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with this location and the call center as well. I bought a couch for my new home and had it delivered January of 2021, by May of the same year my $6k couch was falling apart. They asked for a bunch of information and then crickets!! I finally got fed up and called over a month later they gave me the run around and I ended up selling the couch with the parts they finally send 4 months later. But we needed a couch…after searching, all we can find that we liked was from none other then Ashley. The sales person assured us this couch would be better and that we would have no delivery issues. We took partial delivery in December and we’re told the rest would be delivered mid January. We are now closing in on the end of December and NO COUCH!! Then I find the couch online for about $1k less now Im arguing just to get discounted on the pieces I got delivered!! Never again!!!

This Ahsley store is the worst furniture store I ever encounter. They sent the wrong item to me and when I called to let them know it was the wrong item, they gave me the run around (BIG TIME) After months of talking to about 20 different associates and calling the cooperate office It took almost 3 months to get a refund. They had the nerve to tell me they don't give refunds. They behavior was very appalling. I am disappointed that the largest Furniture distributor in the world treat consumers in this disrespectful manner.

We made a mattress purchase at Ashley Homestore's Farmingdale, NY location. When we purchased our $3,200 Tempurpedic mattress, we were advised by Daryl, the store manager, that the removal of our old mattress would be included. On the day of the delivery, we were told by the driver that there was nothing noted regarding the old mattress and that they would not remove it. My girlfriend attempted to contact Daryl at the store but he didn't return her call. I contacted customer service who advised me that they don't get involved in old mattress removal. The rep emailed him, but I still haven't heard from him. I was advised that Ashley will not rectify the problem because it is a store issue, not an issue with the company. So at this point, I'm stuck with an old mattress because of an incompetent individual that doesn't know the process.
Big Chris is friendly and takes his time with us. We have gone into the store several times, texted and called him and he has been able to promptly add to our order and give us updates.

Edit: 09/18: After posting this review, Ashley finally followed up and replace my broken bench with an entirely new bench. It is a shame that it took so much work to get this fixed but they did in fact fix it so I moved the review up to 3 stars. Before you read below, check reviews on yelp, facebook or better yet, the Better Business Bureau's business profile, their google reviews are all from people immediately after purchase. Big Chris was the best! We had a quick, efficient and easy time ordering our dining room table. Revision 08/04: I stand by the experience we had being easy and quick, how ever over the past several months, Ashley furniture has left a really bad taste in my mouth. After about a month of use, one of the bars on my bench snapped. I reached out to Big Chris, he forwarded me to the Customer Service. We were bounced around for about a day and then finally got to someone. They agreed to send a replacement (Makes a lot of sense because we bought the care plan). This was February. We are now in August and still no bar to replace. So... If you want a quick and easy experience where you get beautiful furniture only to be able to not ever be able to sit on your furniture if it breaks, go ahead and shop here. Otherwise, I'd go with another manufacturer with a better supply chain and that doesn't continuously use COVID as an excuse.
I had an issue with my warranty and Dashawn was extremely helpful. If he didn’t know the answer, he asked if he could put me on hold to find out exactly what the next steps were. Dealing with clients myself, I truly love great customer service and in this day in age appreciate it so much more. He is amazing at his job and funny as well. Off Wednesday to order my couch. Also lied to us as to collection names and what was online as I was standing in front of the set I was inquiring about. Recently had my whole house redone and got all new furniture from Ashley. We saw a couch in the farmingdale location that we loved but wanted it in a different color. The sales person (Tyler) told us that it came in the grayish blue that we wanted but just didn’t have that color in the show room to show us. We went ahead and ordered the couch. The couch was delivered with no issues. Once we moved into our house a few months later the couch didn’t seem right. The cushions don’t stay fluffed and in good condition after sitting on it once. Every single day we have to take the couch apart and bang out the cushions to make it look decent. Few weeks ago we go back to Ashley to buy another piece of furniture. While we were there we sat on the couch that we had purchased and talked to the sales person that we were then dealing with for our other furniture. I questioned him about the couch and he informs me that our sales rep Tyler (who no longer works there) placed the order of the wrong couch! And he said that the couch that we originally wanted doesn’t even come in the gray that she said it came in! The sales person told us to call customer service and they would be able to help us. We called customer service and the lady said she wasn’t able to help us at all. Asked to speak to the manager (Nicole) and she was the nastiest person and would not help us in any way. I will not be purchasing any furniture from them anymore.

I recently bought my Mother and I new desks. I saw it on the website and went to the store to order which caused a little bit of confusion- which was explained and corrected immediately by Shaniqua. As for my mother's there was an issue which I had called about but was directed to the costumer service line. The gentlemen helping me honestly just made me more and more upset(not getting into too much detail). As I was getting in the car to come to the store in a very angry state. Shaniqua(I'm sorry if I misspelled it and I do not know her title is but if she in not some kind of manager they need to get on that.) called me back as she promised she would after the conversation that took place this morning about the confusion with my desk, heard my frustration, and asked me to come into the store. I walk in, she sits me down with a sales person who she already made aware of the situation, showed me some options, and we came up with something that made me appreciate the staff at Ashley's. Even after the confusion, even after the poor experience I had with costumer service, maybe not the exact desk I wanted but my momma is super happy about it and that's all I wanted. For Shaniqua I give my experience a 5 star, and would shop here again. Thank you for all you did today!

After seeing numerous furniture stores I did not want to go into Ashley HomeStore but I am so glad that I did. I was in search of a bedroom set for my new home and looking for something extremely specific. I was not settling. Good thing I met Kevin and Big Chris. I am not an easy customer to deal with but they both had an immense amount of patience and complete knowledge of all of the furniture in stock and the future furniture that was coming in. I was extremely impressed by both of them. They were very attentive and listened to everything I wanted in a bedroom set. In the end they helped me pick a beautiful bedroom set for my new home. I did not think I would go home with anything today . Thank you Kevin and Big Chris! I appreciate all of your help! UPDATE : The Furniture that came was the wrong color and was denied. We purchased probably the most expensive living room set you have in the showroom for our first home spending 6k. We haven’t even had this set for a year and multiple prices are breaking!! The metal under TWO of the recliners are bent and the chairs fully lean to the side when reclined! This set is garbage and I want it out. We filed a claim but of course parts aren’t available so now two months later we are still leaning! One of the motors doesn’t even stop so it’s click click click click click over and over! Ridiculous….. quality is disgusting!

I received my bedroom set today from Ashley's furniture in Farmingdale. Let me just say that I waited months for the delivery. The bed arrives with missing support legs and the headboard was completely WRONG, and specifically the headboard I repeatedly told my salesperson I DID NOT WANT. When speaking the customer service, they said to leave the bed there and they would order the support legs, although the bed should have been sent back as requested. The delivery men would not take the bed back. I am going to speak to my sales representative tomorrow and update this review accordingly. I have multiple items of proof including pictures and texts that i sent friends and family of the right head board, even though the SKU number was inputted incorrectly. I hope Ashleys will do the right thing, I do not want anything for free I just want the item I ordered and to be in a bed that is safe.

They brought a sectional sofa and queen bed set up three flights of narrow Brooklyn apartment building steps and handled it all in a friendly and professional way.

I’m not the type of person to leave a bad review about a bussines but this people did something very wrong Scott and Elizabeth at the farmingdale long island store sold me a mattress for over $4000 knowing that they will not be able to honor the guarantee of 90 days I was living in New York and they sold me a mattress when I was moving to Orlando and had it delivered to my Orlando address knowing that by doing that I will have no guarantee and Ashley will not be able to guarantee the mattress nowAfter sleeping on this matter for over 3 months I cannot stand iit it is the worst experience and nobody is able to give me any answers now Im stuck! with a $4000 mattress and sleeping on the couch 😩😩😩

What an incredible experience we had at this furniture store! Yes, that’s us testing out beds and our smiles say it all! I’ve never felt more relaxed shopping for furniture and our salesman Timothy was THE BOMB!!! He spent so much time with us going over every possible option. Moving into a new apartment has been so stressful and he helped relieve some of that stress by making our shopping experience not only fun but practical. He understood my budget and never pushed once for me to consider anything above what I was looking to spend. He helped me get a couch & new mattress and my friend a beautiful bench for her office. We had our children with us and he helped keep them entertained during our time there. As a single mom of three, I honestly didn’t think I’d be able to afford anything there and boy was I wrong. They have something for everyone there. I never really enjoyed shopping for furniture until this day. Thank you Timothy for being a kind & honest gentleman 🙏🏻 PROMOTE THIS GUY!!

This place confirmed an order date for delivery we purchased followed by reconfirming the delivery date only to not show up. Then the warehouse states no record of a delivery date then corporate says oh yea we see the issue sorry we don’t even actually have the item and can’t tell you when it would be delivered. Corporate then states they can’t assist with anything to make it right and if you have further issues or want a refund go to the store to deal with it. Expect when you go online to get the phone for the store it connects you to corporate. Don’t shop here and don’t expect help as a professional furniture store

I was expecting a delivery today for a paid in full purchase I made on Memorial Day. My original delivery date was Tuesday August 17th.....which I was willing to wait for. I called to confirm on August 13th only to be told that I do not have a delivery scheduled for the 17th! After a lengthy conversation....I agreed for delivery today, the 24th. I rushed to do my errands and put off others that needed to be done. I waited in the house till a reasonable time of 2pm. I called a service number and spoke to a woman only to be told that they rescheduled my delivery for September 3 or 4th! I asked how can they reschedule a delivery without my knowledge...was told a message was left for me 2 days ago. My reply was..."No, a phone call was not received nor was a message left." I then asked the question, "Why would I get a phone call rescheduling when I already received an email confirming my delivery date for today?" Her answer was the email was computer generated. So....I drive to the store, ask to speak to a manager who was not available because she was on lunch. Spoke to another woman who checked the computer and repeated the next delivery day would be in September. I asked for a refund. A man came over, he mentioned how my furniture is available but the people who put it together in my home are not. Not my problem... that is something that should have been worked out between them and I wanted the delivery and assembly today as promised/scheduled or a refund. Numerous apologies later....I received a refund. I am still without furniture and now have to look for something else and wait months again. Ashley is quick to take your money but after that....their communication with you is nil. To say I am not happy is an understate

honestly, i do not know how this store full of scam on price got a 4.2 stars, oh, well, good luck to anyone who trying to buy from them.... just my own experience, their store price is about 20% higher than their online price, if you do not check and placed an order to sales at store, you will be paying higher than you should be... anyway, it is just my personal experience. i did not buy anything from Ashley, and even not that easy to get back a $100 deposit they asked me to put... if you going to buy from Ashley, just be extra careful....my comment is nothing about their quality, it is about the salesman in the store,

Ordered a kitchen dinette set. 1st attempt was this past Tuesday. Out of the 1st 4 chairs of 6 that they unwrapped 3 were damaged. I refused delivery. Now waiting on my 2nd attempt with a delivery window of 1-5 it is now 8:35 pm. If not here by 9 I will be canceling my order.

Ashley Homestore in Farmingdale was the best furniture shopping experience. Jada made us feel very comfortable while we were looking at bedroom sets. Everything in the store is a fair and reasonable price and they work with you to make sure you are happy. Ended up buying 5 pieces of bedroom furniture. They all look amazing and it is real quality wood. The set up was done in less then an hour and delivery of our furniture took 2 weeks. I would recommend going here before you look anywhere else!

My husband and I could not be more happy with our experience at Ashley Furniture in Farmingdale NY. Our Sales Advisor, Ahmet Ercen, was an absolute joy to deal with. This was a big purchase (for us) that we were making and he did LITERALLY everything he could to make us feel comfortable and show us every avenue that could be taken. He’s extremely knowledgeable which made it easy to make a decision on which mattress to buy(which is never something that is easy for me). He’s a straight shooter, but again, that made it very helpful in decision making. He has the patience of a saint and an absolutely wonderful demeanor! I cannot express enough how pleased we are with every choice we made. If you need anything, go and see him! I promise that you’ll be happy! I felt like I was chatting with an old friend, the entire time! Thank you, Ahmet; it was a pleasure! We’ll definitely be back!

Ashleyhomestore is the most unprofessional and unprincipled company that I had ever had to deal with. It has been over one month since my first delivery of bedroom furniture. I have received to this day 4 unsuccessful and very unprofessional deliveries. My first delivery that I had attempt to receive was damaged. My dresser, mirror, 2 night stands, headboard, bed frame and dresser chest looked like they dropped the furniture off the back of the truck. Every piece of furniture was severely damaged. The delivery drivers tried to “fix” the damaged furniture with putty and sandpaper and tried to convince me to keep the furniture. When customer service was called they did not want to deal with the situation. They told me they had nothing to do with it and told me to call the store at which I bought the furniture from, the Ashley Homestore in Farmingdale, NY. I called them directly and they too said that they can not do anything about the situation but to call customer care. Eventually I was able to fight my way into receiving my 2nd delivery. 1 week and a half later I received my 2nd delivery. The furniture yet again looked as if they fell off the back of the truck. Not only was my furniture damaged but the delivery drivers damaged my brand new hardwood flooring that I have just had professionally done 2 days prior to the 2nd delivery. I watched the 2 delivery drivers try to buff out my brand new hardwood floors and then tried to color in the deep scratches with black permanent marker. When I asked the 2 delivery drivers if they damaged my floors they said sorry and ran out of my house calling their boss and then tried to deny that they damaged my floors. The 2 drivers who barley spoke English told me “it was like that mammi, we no do that”. So I had to yet again call customer service and explain to them what happened. Their response back to me was that they can’t do anything on their end but I should email claims department to make a claim about my damaged floors. I asked the customer care representative to speak to a supervisor and he hung up the phone on me. Not only did the drivers damage my floors but the delivery drivers dropped the furniture in my room and left because the said they “forgot the hardware”, so now they were unable to put together my furniture. One of the delivery drivers said something about the garbage in Spanish. In which I speak and understand Spanish. I went outside in my garbage and found the hardware. I then asked them kindly to please take the plastic wrap off the furniture so I could inspect the furniture to ensure that there was no damage. They told me that the next guy can come do it and they left. It took me another week to get replacements for the furniture that had been damaged after fighting with Ashleys customer service to get the replacements. They told me that I “let the delivery drivers leave” so now I had to keep what I had because now the furniture is in my home and that I could have refused the furniture before the drivers left. I was unable to refuse my furniture because the delivery drivers running out of my house to leave. After fighting with customer service yet again I finally got them to schedule another delivery service. After one week, I received my 3rd delivery and it was once again damaged. My 4th delivery I had received all my furniture. While the delivery drivers were assembling my dresser they pointed out the giant hole on the bottom of my dresser. So now I have to wait for my FIFTH delivery. Customer service told me that I would receive a phone call within 24 hours to schedule another delivery. I have yet received a phone call from them to get a replacement scheduled for my dresser. And if you were wondering.... yes I paid for the white glove delivery service. I have been fighting with Ashley HomeStore to receive some type of compensation back and they told me they can not do anything for me. They told me that I would have to contact the Ashley homestore in which I purchased the furniture to receive some type of compensation. I called the store in Farmingdale, NY and they told me they could not do anything for me and hung up on me. These people are so unprofessional. I will never give my money to this company ever again. I will also never recommend this negligent company to anyone. Ashley Homestore should be embarrassed that they treat well paying customers the way that they do. I did not spend $100 to $300 with this company. I gave them well over 7 thousand dollars for all the furniture I had purchased and that’s how they treat their customers. Unprofessional, unprincipled and rude. No one should ever buy furniture from this company. Save yourself the aggravation and disappointment.
Nothing but good experiences here! We have furnished two bedrooms, our bar stools, and now a king-sized adjustable bed, and love them all! No regrets!

this store is horrible. after waiting 6wks for delivery of a bedroom set. they wanted to deliver while we were doing home improvement. now they gave our furniture away to the next person and now we have to wait until August for our furniture. horrible store. had we known this we would have taken it and stored it in the garage. never shopping here again.

Normally furniture shopping is really stressful and frustrating. Jeff and Jim helped us out at the farmingdale location and they were fantastic ! They were so helpful and knowledgeable and did not pressure at all. We bought furniture for our entire house with them today and they were nothing short of amazing. Bait and switch. Went to buy a couch with the main purpose of having the couch before my sons wedding. There were many couches we loved from other stores but none would arrive on time. We specifically chose this couch from Ashley’s Furniture (which was more money then we planned on spending) because they promised we would 100% have it on time. Our salesman called his boss over who sat with us (by the way this was February 2021) He checked with the warehouse they guaranteed the entire couch by middle of March no problem. Again I made him confirm; this the wedding was first week in May he said no problem. Well the wedding came and went part of sectional was delivered on time still missing main piece. It is now end of May, the last phone call they said first week in June? Now no one answers my calls or provides me with a straight answer.

I wish I would had read the reviews before attempting to purchase furniture at Ashley Home Store Outlet on Route 110. I went to this store on February 13, 2021 to purchase a couch. I purchased not only a couch, but also a table, 4 chairs and a bench. The salesman named Dan told me because of the pandemic that these items will be delivered on the second week of April. He said they will give me a call before delivery. I was ok with this and was willing to wait 2 1/2 months. Well, now the second week of April comes and I didn’t get a call so I waited till the third week and I called the number that’s on the purchase order. The person that spoke to me informed me that since the items are on back order that it will be delivered maybe in July!!!! I was very upset and decided to go to the store to speak to Dan. When I get there, I sense that Dan is nervous and he tells me that he’s shocked that I didn’t get the couch because other people have purchased the same couch after me and they already has theirs delivered!! Then he said that I could have the table but not the chairs because they are in back order till July!!! Really Dan! So my family of 5 has to take turn eating because we won’t all be able to sit at the same time!! I asked for a refund which Dan said he emailed his supervisor to approve it. Dan called me the next day to tell me that they will refund me. He said it will take approximately a week to get the refund. Well, it’s been 3 weeks and no sign or call or email about this refund! This is disgusting customer service! I would never buy anything at this store! They are horrible with communication and with customer service! They never called me to inform me about the items being on back order. They tell you that you will get a refund in a week and it’s been 3 weeks! First and last time dealing with Ashley Home Store Outlet!

I wish there would be an option to give a 0 star. sold me a sofa set by saying it will be delivered in a couple of weeks. when 2 months pass by and after i called multiple times, they delivered half of the order and i was informed that one sofa will be delivered after 7 month. which was totally unacceptable as i told them to begin with that i need a sofa set ASAP because my daughter is getting married . now they said that if they will take the loveseat back that was already delivered then i have to pay restocking fee $149 plus shipping and handling $199 so altogether i will be paying almost $350 while i will be left with nothing. So just visiting that store will cost me $350. Rude salesman hung up on me when i tried to argue. Manger at store said that he doesn’t care if my daughter is getting married and i need the furniture. the lady who called from the corporate office was extremely rude. they dont want to listen to anything and blaming me that why I accepted the half delivery, While i was misguided from the beginning to the end. Now i am stuck with that love seat and bench and if I will buy the sofa from somewhere else then it will be totally unmatched. DO NOT go to that store. bad bad bad experience. I hardly reviewed once or twice so far but i am so up set that i took the time out to write this review so you can imagine my frustration. I know nothing will happen for me but someone might benefit from this review. Just want to Save others from the frustration i am going through. 0 star
I can’t say enough wonderful things about the help and service that Benji provided. I came back to Ashley to see him yo furnish another new apartment and Benji took the time to go over all different options and show me many different pieces that would meet my needs. He was so knowledgeable and patient and answered my 500000 questions, but most importantly he listened and the whole transaction was no-pressure and extremely pleasant. I had such a wonderful experience and will be sure to be back to furnish the rest of my space soon. Thank you so much!

Big Chris at the "regular" store and Jada and Howard at the Outlet store were friendly, courteous and efficient. They know their stock. I brought in print-outs from the website and they led me right to the models I was interested in. Delivery by Clemente and his side kick was prompt, professional and careful in only three days after purchase. Prices at the Outlet were terrific. I would very happily shop there again.
I had a great experience at Ashley home furniture store. It was very quick, efficient, and all of the workers were very nice. The store was clean and everything on display was clean(which is a plus especially during Covid). Kris Kight exceeded my expectations! I got the bed and comfort at the expense that worked perfectly for me. I have searched different furniture stores and none come even close. I would highly recommend the Farmingdale location this was the greatest experience, and I recommend that anyone who’s looking for any bed or furniture definitely come see Kris. Ordered 2 items, was told 1 month. Called and was told item would not be in for another 4 months. Went to the store to pick out something else and the manager (Rich O.) got very nasty and wouldn’t cancel our order because it “wasn’t his fault”.

People in there store are extremely pleasant and helpful. However the delivery drivers are not. Would not wear masks in my home. Also the couch did not fit, I do take some of the blame...I probably measured wrong. However when the couch did not fit, the delivery team took the couch away...left the cardboard and plastic wrap in my entrance way leaving my front door open. Thought they would be back being that they left the cushions and pillows from the couch. Nope they left. So I make another delivery appointment for a new couch. Two days go by and the delivery driver....not Ashleys furniture or someone from corporate calls my cell phone from his own personal number repeatably asking when I am not working so he can pick up the cushions. Made me feel extremely uncomfortable. Called what I thought was the right corporate number to let them know. It was actually corporate for Florida. He was very helpful and explained how he would have handled the situation but that he couldn't help me because I was in New York. He gives me the right number. I call and all they said is 'Thank you for letting us know'. Awful. *Update* - Couch was delivered with a team to set it up inside my home so that it would fit. Was given a window of 7:15-11:15 am. They arrived at 5:55am. I live in a condo complex and did not want to disturb my neighbors. Asked if they could wait and grab breakfast which I offered to pay for. They told me no and that if they didn't bring the couch in now I would be charged a restocking fee and would have to repay for delivery. What on earth is going on? *Update #2* still waiting for a response from the email I sent which the automatic response from Ashleys suggested.

Awful furniture. i purchased a livingroom couch, bedroom set, a d diningroom table from them. The couch fell apart in 2 years and the playinum protection plan wouldnt repair the damage since its wear and tear. 2 years later and ive already gotten rid of my dining room table and livingroom couch and both were replaced by raymour and flanagan pieces. I wouldnt recomment anyone shop with ashleys, horrible experience between delivery, defective pieces.... then when we finally got our pieces in good shape they ddint hold up long at all. Dont waste your money.

Hello my name is Stephen I live in Lindenhurst New York I bought from Ashley furniture in Farmingdale a few times I am writing to let you know of my past experience I will like to complement Scott Russo he is a gentleman I met Scott in late 2020. My wife and I were buying two bedroom sets for our daughter’s. And he was the salesman that helped us at that time. He listened very well to all of what we wanted and needed to buy he gave his best suggestion. And we listened to him.I would like to share with you guys some thing that just happened to me this week on Friday that just passed I fell outside and broke my ankle and had to have emergency surgery on it. The reason why I fell outside of my home is because I have cerebral palsy. After my surgery I was hospitalized until Wednesday night what I needed to buy for my recovery was a recliner my surgeon suggested so what I did was I called Scott at Ashley furniture he cater to all my needs he listened to what I wanted in a recliner he gave me his best recommendationI am so happy with this guy because he knows his stuff he talks to you like a real person and he’s just a great guy I don’t know how many times I’m going to say he’s a gentleman I wish I could give him something in return I really would recommend going to Scott Russo if you visit the Farmingdale Ashley furniture store I wish every sales person in the world would be like Scott Another reason why we like Scott is because his suggestions were the ones that were right he meaning he didn’t steer us wrong ever he knew what he was talking about 100% if you want something good listen to Scott and please buy from Scott you can’t go wrong with this guy he’s not somebody that’s just wants to sell you something he’s a person that cares about his customers and I think a sales person should care about their customer so they could come back One more thing I forgot to say if you have any type of problem either with the delivery or the furniture Scott is quick at handling the situation he has my number one salesman as long as I need furniture and he is there I would buy from him
Stay away from Ashley all together! Sectionals measurements are off by 3 inches and they do nothing about it. False advertisement at its finest. See you in court. Dispute is opened with card company. Not going to be taken advantage of. Update 5/3/2021: I emailed the address below and still no response!

This isn’t the first time I’ve purchased from Ashley and it’s a reminder of why I come back. It’s always an easy experience with quality furniture. Tammy was a pleasure to work with - not pushy or rude. She took time to genuinely understand what I was looking for and gave me the space to take my time. The entire process with Tammy from start to finish (ideas, suggestions, delivery info) was a breeze and I’d easily come back and work with her again. It was like buying from a friend rather than a sales rep.
J’Min helped me out today to pick out dining room table, super helpful with this difficult decision. He made this process super smooth, I can’t wait to receive my items.

Very timely and professional, during times of COVID they were very respectful of wearing their masks in the home and cleaning up after themselves as well as being respectful of tracking in mud and outside debris inside the house as well as putting cardboard down to not ruin the carpets or flooring in the house.
After waiting 3 months for my order to be delivered, both items were delivered damaged. I then emailed photos of the damaged products. No Response. The next day I called to find out and confirm if they received the e-mail. I was told they had and that they would get back to me the next morning. After five days, I called. I am now being told they need to order parts and the parts should arrive in 4-6 weeks. Then they will have a tech come out to fix damaged sofa and table. (this is after 2 hours on the phone). Horrible customer service. My advise is to stay away. 3/16/2021 - Update - the parts have arrived! (Fabric) - Waiting for someone to contact us to set up "technician" appt. - Going through the "process". On 4/6/2021 - Technician came and repaired both the new couch and new coffee table. Would have been easier and cost efficient if it was delivered damage free to begin with. Needed to write this review in order to get the issue resolved.

Big Chris was wonderful and very helpful!! He was extremely knowledgeable and personable. Chris was very helpful, listened to our needs and we were able to find the best bedroom set for my daughter! Great service and nice showroom. He showed us bedroom sets that fit my daughters needs. The showroom had so many wonderful pieces and we finally narrowed it down to 3 sets. He gave us the time and space we needed to make our decision and never made us feel any pressure. My daughter finally made her choice and we were sold on the Caitbrook Chest of drawers along with, Caitbrook Storage bedwith 8 drawers. Big Chris at Ashley Furniture is AMAZING!! Very poor communication. Made my order and was supposed to be delivered December 28th. Then was called three days before and told January 15th. Was called January 15th and told one piece can be delivered on the 25th. That’s one out of three pieces. Then told the rest of the couch will come on the 2nd. On the 1st I got a call telling me the 8th. Then got an email saying my pieces were not in yet and will be delivered on February 15th. Today just got another call telling me o lay one piece can be delivered and the other piece is still not in. Now I’m being told that piece will be delivered on the 24th. Since I’ve made this purchase I have purchased tv’s and furnished two other rooms from two other furniture stores within 3 weeks of ordering products. Also I went to make a complaint and there is no one to complain to. I would say I am a very unhappy customer but after this I will never ever make another purchase from any Ashley’s ever again. They are not reliable.

My parents canceled an order and Ashley home furniture in December and still have not gotten credit. They have been down to the store several times during this pandemic and still are getting the runaround I believe they are being discriminated because of their age. This is horrible to treat people like this now it’s on to the Better Business Bureau and an attorney as we have tried all resources to get this issue resolved and are getting nowhere.

My wife and I went to purchase a bedroom set in July 2020. The salesman was quite pleasant and helped us through the deal. Unfortunatley, the entire experiece after furniture delivery was horrendous. The footboard of the bed was damaged, the dresser was damaged on the side and one of the nightstands had a defect on the top. I called my salesman and he said well nothing he could do. I would have to go through customer care. So I contacted customer care and of course there was a huge wait on hold to even speak with someone. So i did the next best thing - I contacted Ashley Corporate via twitter. Much to my surprise, the Farmindale location is NOT operated by Ashely Corporate, rather a franchisee. So, in order to find a solution I would have to go through the store customer care team which is located in New Jersey, allegedly. Long story short. Customer care would not swap the furniture as they said they will require a service tech to come out and inspect. Fair enough. The service tech came and stated flat out, "I cannot fix this, you should have been given an exchange". The tech took photos and the exchange process was started. Low and and behold the exchange day comes and the exchange furniture is also damaged! The footboard was scracthed and the dresser was damaged on the top back corner. The delivery person saw the damage and I as well and he went on the phone with customer care to resolve. And of course they want to do ANOTHER exchange. At this point my wife and I completely done with this company, but they refuse to give us a refund. So we ended up scheduling another exchange. Now it is mid November and we have the third exchange being delivered. And wouldn't ya know it - DAMAGED. The driver opened the packaging for one of the nightstands and it was completely cracked on the underside. The dresser was damaged again also. Driver goes on the phone with customer care and they want to do another exchange! At this point we've had it. They gave us the runaround for over a month and at least 4 visits the the Farmingdale store in order to get our money back. I wish I could give ZERO stars. ***DO BUSINESS WITH THIS STORE AT YOUR OWN RISK***

Absolute terrible customer service and follow up from our sales rep Ahmet. We purchased an entire living room set, bed room set and barstool chairs from Ashley and are extremely displeased with the service (lack of) we received. To start off, our sales rep never contacted us about a delivery time or date for any of our furniture (another rep did when we reached out because our rep never answered our calls) and after finally receiving our delivery date upon arrival, our entire couch was delivered in the wrong color. Along with two out of the three barstools we ordered arriving completely uneven. It was nearly impossible getting in touch with anyone at Ashley, let alone our sales rep. Thankfully another salesperson, Dennis did as much as he possibly could to help our situation. Over two weeks later and we were told a note would be put in to fix/ replace the barstool chairs and no such notation was ever made. We have only received half of the couch in the correct color (finally) and have to wait for yet another service tech to come out and evaluate our completely crooked barstool chairs. We are also missing a tv console we ordered through Ashley and never received an expected delivery date. This has taken toll over a span of three months since our original purchase date. I’ve worked in sales for years and this is not how you treat your clients/customers. We will not be purchasing from Ashley in the future and most certainly will not be recommending any one else to do so.

Most of my experiences purchasing furniture from here have been positive. After Hurricane Sandy I refurnished most of my house with their pieces. Today I received a leather recliner that I purchased before Christmas and because I asked for drop off service it came in pieces. I had no idea it did not come assembled. It is a $1600 chair that my husband now has to put together. This is totally ridiculous and was not explained to me at the time of purchase. I expect this at IKEA, not a furniture store.

I received a couch that I was not satisfied with. I asked the drivers to please take it back, we were told to “just call the company, they’re great with returns” I called and called and then finally went to the store and was told that I will most likely be able to do and exchange or get a store credit which was all I really wanted. To then be told later on that evening that my request was denied. So now it’s over a month and I’m stuck with a $2000.00 couch that I hate!! I will never ever buy from them again and will let everyone know what kind of business they run. I’m beyond disgusted.

I purchased 3 rooms of furniture from the Farmingdale store. The items were delivered on 11/13. After the delivery driver left, we inspected the furniture (big mistake inspecting after) and the frame to the couch is damaged. I went to the store to see about getting an exchange and was told that it doesn't work that way. They have to put in a claim and we have to wait and see. They claim that since we accepted the delivery, it is now our problem. I will be reporting them to the AG's office and will also dispute the charge on my credit card. Very disappointed.

We recently bought a bedroom set from Ashley Farmingdale. My salesman, Kevin Marshac, was an absolute gem! After chatting for a few minutes, he knew immediately what we were looking for in terms of quality and style. He directed us to a very well made set "Millenium" by Ashley. We ordered the set, and in the interim, Kevin remained quite accessible responding to my many queries and concerns. The furniture was delivered and the deliverymen were polite and clean. I recommend this store highly and can't wait to shop there again!!!
I purchased a sofa and love seat it was 2 month wait for delivery. It came and on visual inspection they looked good. After sitting on and using arm rest it was completely broken. They refuse to replace it they suggest tearing up fabric to repair the frame. It is a brand new sofa what can I do. I’ll never shop there again
I am surprised of some of the negative reviews but for the most part it seems to be Based on Delivery . However I Needed a few Items for a New Home and Found The Sales People to Be Kind as Opposed to Raymour and Flanigan Across the Street . I Had a Great Experience with My Salesman Kevin Marsac who took the time to walk with me through the store and Help Me in anyway possible to Find Items . Raymour Has a Different Vibe with a Few Sales Reps that were Pushy or Others That Disappeared When I Had a Few Questions . Kevin Stayed with me and Helped me to Find Wonderful Items at Great Prices . If I could give 0 stars I would. Purchased a 3500 dollar sectional with power recliners about 8 years ago with the durablend leather and rarely use it. 5 years after purchase, its starts peeling, I contact Ashley furniture and am told someone will get back to me. NEVER DID. 8 years now and look at it. NEVER BUY THIS. Search Ashley durablend complaints on the internet and you will see what I mean. Horrible product and horrendous Customer Service. SEE PHOTOS. The little flakes that peel off will actually stick to your clothes and anything else that comes into contact with. Can't even sit on it.
Easiest experience I’ve had picking out furniture. Chris at Ashley made it so easy from picking things out to explaining the whole process for payments. He was professional, friendly and available when it came to any questions/concerns I had. I’ll be back and will definitely be asking for Chris. I recommend Ashley (specifically Chris) to anyone who needs new furniture.
Last night my family and I stopped in the store and had the pleasure of working with Theresa and Chris. They worked closely with us to design our perfect living room set! They were honest about delivery times and what we could remove from our order to make it fit our budget and still achieve the look and feel we wanted. Honor refunds you are supposed to give. I was supposed to be issued a refund in August. I keep getting the run around of oh you will get it in 10 days. It is now October and still no refund. Everytime I call it’s a oh your supposed to get it, but the store who can help me won’t or they take my card say oh in 10 days and that’s has been going on for 2 months. Just give me my refund I’m supposed to get it back. I would never ever purchase anything from This store again because this is how they treat people just awful.
I made a purchase from them in June. I love my couch, however I’m supposed to get a refund on the warranty I purchased. In August then said I would get the refund back and it would take up to 10 days. It is now October and I never received. I called multiple times and they just give me the run around and also they are very hard to get in touch with. Honor the refund I was told I would get in August. For this reason I would never ever purchase from them again because if I need to return something this is how they treat people?
Buying furniture always feels like a drag, I've never really had a good experience, so this time around we were not excited. I've always felt rushed or forced to buy something. However, that wasn't the case here. Theresa helped us out and she was THE best! She whipped out a pen and paper to draw out our rooms to help us imagine what our new sofa would look like, she would run around the store and move furniture next to other stuff so we can get a better idea of the setup, she made us laugh a billion times while doing everything to make our lives easier. She made shopping so easy. Even the other coworkers were just sweet, funny and outgoing people. We won't buy furniture from anywhere else, I feel obligated to go back there because they made us feel like we're best buds! Highly recommend coming here. The best crew around and we found all of the furniture we needed and LOVED. Store looked great, and the showrooms made it easy for me and my wife to visualize how we wanted to decorate our new home. We were greeted by a sales associate named Ahmet who was very patient with how particular our design choices are. It’s nice to see the sales team get along so well together, another associate by the name of Big Chris was brought in as an additional resource whenever we had a question that wasn’t able to be handled. All and all a pleasant experience, I never felt pressured to by anything by an overbearing sales person. I felt very confident by the end of my purchase.

We went here to find bedroom furniture not really expecting to find exactly what we wanted. Surprisingly we found a really nice set. The sales woman, Theresa, was extremely helpful and gave us good design ideas for how to play the colors of the furniture with other colors in the bedroom. Would use them for future furniture purchases.
I worked with Theresa and she helped me find the perfect couch for me. She sat down and me and went over all my options and took the time to really find something that fit for me in my style and price range. Will be doing business with her in the future when I need more furniture.

I am blown away by the way the sales associate we worked with went out of his way for us. Chris, aka BIG CHRIS, was incredible to work with. He let us walk around, explore and didn't hover over us. He was there when we needed him and broke down all of our purchases by discount and financing options so that we could make the best decision for us. On top of that, he stayed with us 2 hours past closing to ensure our entire order was put through and PERFECT. I cannot say enough good things about him and the store. We are so excited for our delivery and are beyond happy with the customer service we received.
Do not purchase from Ashley! No communication and bad customer service. Purchased sectional sofa and when it was delivered a piece did not fit. We were not asked of the height of our ceiling beforehand. They offered a breakdown service and took the piece of furniture back to be "broken down". I've still not received it a month later even though we were promised it wouldn't take longer than a week. The piece is now on backorder so apparently I have to wait another month (customer service is telling me this, not the store I purchased from which you can't get a hold of). You cannot return the furniture once it's in your home so now I'm stuck with an incomplete couch until its back in stock. I've never had such a horrible experience in my life with ordering furniture and will never purchase from this store again.
Beware!! They offer 5 years free interest but charge you more if you use that offer. The sales lady was very nice, helpful and patient with us. At the point of closing the deal she calls in help. The man who came - was rude and condensing. i had done my homework - knew on line prices for the set we wanted . He told me all places that finance work it that way -- I am refurnishing our new town house and have never been charged more for using interest free -- I also pointed out the prices he gave me were not as discounted as he said -since I could buy it on line for that amount -- They dont like an educated consumer. I did buy the set from the store since I felt bad for the sales lady who helped us -- I was very tempted to go home and pay few bucks more to purchase it on line

We just got a home which we needed to FULLY furnished (living room, bedroom and dining room) We did visit your competitors but liked what you had to offer. We were only looking for the other parts of our house but landed up also purchasing our bed from you. Our bed was delivered on July 27th and not only did the delivery guys damage my BRAND NEW house but also left me with a defected bed. When they were here I said please take this bed back as it is defected, they said it was just how the bed was placed in the truck and that with in 72 hrs it will go back to normal. We were also the last delivery and there was no call prior to deliver you showed up with no call, and when I went to look at the bed the drivers were already in the truck and out of my block before I can even talk to them. Not only did they leave when we asked them to stay, the delivery guys damaged my new floors and wall. I have placed a claim into customer service as well as claims and have not heard back from anyone. I was speaking with someone and was suppose to have a call on Aug 7th between 9-10am and guess what no call. I call and email daily and nothing. It took till August 13th to get someone out to look at the bed, and now today August 22nd the new replacement bed was delivered and guess what it is still defective but better then the first delivery. The first bed we could not even sleep on it. Second issue- we ordered our couch from you and on the first delivery you delivered the wrong piece, now last Saturday was suppose to be the delivery with the correct piece. Well guess what, that is correct you came back with the same WRONG piece. The driver showed me the packing list, it shows what should of been delivered but it was not that piece of the couch we needed. Now we are on Saturday August 22nd and you were supposed to deliver and it was not in stock. So we are waiting for the 29th of August for a delivery and hoping this will be correct. Now when speaking with the sales person that sold us the bed was NO help. Basically just said to call customer service and guess what customer service was horrible as well.
Huge thumbs down to Ashley Furniture in Farmingdale Recently moved into a new home , purchased most of our furniture from Ashley , and nothing has been right First the bed arrived and was defected , the delivery men were slobs and left garbage on the floor , scratched our floor and wall and broke thermostat off the wall Took over 3 weeks to deliver a replacement that is also defective The couch has been delivered twice with the wrong pieces ( sectional ) No one one from Ashley responses or returns calls The damage we were told to contact trucking company, WE did not hire trucking company this is Ashley&'s delivery service and again not response I highly recommend never going there OH AND THEY KEEP REMOVING POSTS ABOUT THIS -- at Ashley HomeStore (Farmingdale, NY).I wish I could give -star

Two people which I would like to shoutout which have been beyond helpful, Dan Mullen which works out of the Outlet in Farmingdale and Carol in customer service on the 732 number. Carol was beyond helpful and went out of her way to make sure to confirm things with me. Now I am calling out Ashely to see what you are going to do? Maybe by writing to you on all social media platform someone will get back to me and maybe compensate me on my time, frustration and aggravation.
Ordered our furniture, seemed pretty painless then it comes and every single piece has a scratch! The mattress had a tear! They refused to take it back, giving us the runaround about getting our money back or them coming and taking the furniture! I have never had such a horrible experience in my life! With the amount spent on this furniture never ever again! Very very upset! Oh and not to mention we bought the extended warranty and then they tell us it was never processed! So I pay for things and they disappear right. Just like I ordered gray furniture and brown arrived and scratches everywhere! Unacceptable!!!
I had the best experience at this store! Tim G and James were absolutely amazing and so helpful. We were in a sticky situation and Tim made sure we had everything we needed and more. It was easily the best experience I’ve ever had at a store! If you go here ask for Tim! Really great service and kindness.

I am very disappointed that my couch was promised to me for August 4th and then August 11th and then all of a sudden it's on backorder until September 25th!! Unacceptable!! I told the salesperson at Ashley's that I want compensation for having to wait an extra month and a half for a couch promised to me and nothing no response.I want a bigger percentage off or some type of compensation given to me whether it be something free or a credited discount off on my bill. This is not nice and this is my second bad experience with Ashley's and I should have known better than to come back to this furniture store for furniture, but I gave the store the benefit of doubt and came back hoping my second experience would not be repeated!! But now I learned my lesson and will never come back here and I will not recommend this furniture store to anyone that I know and if I don't get a phone call back with some type of compensation that is acceptable to me I will be calling the better business bureau to complain!!
AMAZINGGGGG EXPERIENCE!!!! My wife and I went to Ashley’s to browse for a bedroom furniture set. We were greeted by Omer who assisted us in finding what we wanted, patiently. He took his time with us, explaining specifics of the furniture. He never made us feel rushed or pressured. The manager Big Chris is AMAZING! He worked with our price point and was so DOWN TO EARTH! It felt like I was talking with Family. Big Chris was extremely knowledgeable and definitely knew his products. This was our first experience at Ashley’s, and it was absolutely amazing! Very impressed and I don’t impress easily. Will definitely GO BACK for my future furniture needs! Thank you so much! Highly recommend 💗

I said no I did t need a bed in pieces bad enough we got rid of her set to make room for the new set. 2 weeks later they come again. I tell the delivery guys what happened so they should check to make sure everything was there so they don't have to pack it all up again in 100 degree weather. He did and it was damaged. So back it goes. Still no call from the store. Now I have wasted all this time to wait for deliveries. Again I talk to the women on the phone she assures me that Anthony from farmingdale was gonna get back to me. I wanted my 150$ delivery fee back. I wish I could give the store a zero instead of one , not because of the sales person but the customer services , worst service ever, besides one of the assistance manager or manager , I don’t even know what title he has because he was never introduced to me after an error made by one of the employee on my order , besides he was not properly wearing his mask , mouth and nose out and won’t keep the 6ft distance , he was rude , and now my order is still wrong and I can’t get ahold of none one , they keep transferring over from one place to the other , putting me on hold and even dropping the calls, I will call corporate and report all this.
Christine and Tim are keepers this was one of the best experiences me and my hubby had shopping furniture. We drove Christine nuts and she seemed to love it strange enough. We even looked for some additional pieces as we felt so good and comfortable. During this time both associates wore masks the whole time. Nothing felt pressured or rushed. We almost did not stop I am glad we did. Christine met me at the door and did not seem pushy . Thank you for all you do and your team.
WARNING: HORRIBLE & FRAUDULENT customer "care" experience both with store representatives and over the phone with corporate. After receiving 6 damaged items out of 12, delivery team refused to return items onto truck nor would the customer "care" accept a claim within 24 hours. Store manager and salesperson claim no responsibility for furniture after sale, with zero regard for following up given countless calls to the retail location. Manager quote "We are not responsible for items once dropped off, even if damaged or not properly handled by delivery". Not sure how a store is qualified to sell products but not handle day-of-delivery issues. Customer "care" is even worse, showing no empathy or call back customers, forcing to wait one month to assess damages even with clear pictures and incident report submitted. Fee is still charged during this time. DO NOT PURCHASE HERE BEFOR RESEARCHING LOCATION AND POLICIES. Better Business Bureau and news outlets have been notified. CEO Todd Wanek and corporate team should be ashamed.
Worst decision I ever made was going to Ashley for my bedroom set. What we received was not as advertised and when tried to get help we got the run around. In the end we got stuck with useless furniture when we were willing to pay more for something different! Ended up cancelling a future order we had coming for a livingroom set. They suck, don’t go here. Raymour is across the street!
We found the recliner we wanted in the 'size' we needed in the outlet part of the store. Would have been a 5 star, if the outlet side wasn't so industrial looking. Staff was good to work with , and very patient answering questions . Access to/from store can be difficult by car due to volume of traffic on roadway in front of store .
Christine Messina was my sales rep for couches that I needed and she was so awesome! I’m very indecisive and she was super helpful without being pushy! One of the best sales experiences I’ve had! Will be back to see her for the rest of what I need!

DO NOT GO HERE!!! We placed an order for a bedroom set and put it on layaway since we weren't ready for the delivery yet. We specifically asked if can CANCEL AT ANYTIME. The sales rep said yes many many times. Guess what, after the 2 hours of waiting for the order to be placed, the front desk says that we have to cancel it within 15 days!!! This is on top of the rep running back and forth to ask things while we were in the store and the whole process that should have took a half hour TOOK TWO HOURS. JUST TO PLACE THE ORDER WITH THEM IN THE STORE!!!! The only thing is she was so so so so nice and we felt really bad for her because she was extremely apologetic. Anyway, we cancelled it 3 day's later. First of all, to get in contact with someone over the phone is almost impossible. Finally we got someone on the phone. The person we originally spoke to said they will cancel it and send us the cancellation confirmation. 3 days later, nothing. We called and finally it was sent to us after being on the phone for 40 mins. BUT WAIT, THERES MORE!! So they said 3-5 days for a refund. 7 days later, nothing. Called back. They said they will call us back. 2 days later, no call back. We ended up calling again. This guy answers and he said he will take care of it, gave us his personal cellphone and said he will send us the actual cancellation RECEIPT. Never got it. Called again. He said he forwarded the information higher up, bla bla. Another week goes by. NO RECEIPT, NO REFUND. Had to do a dispute on my card. It took A MONTH to get back the damn refund ! Can you believe that? What happened to 3-5 days? THERE IS NO ONE TO TALK TO AND THEY ARE TERRIBLE. PLUS, THE FURNITURE QUALITY IS TERRIBLE. WE WERE JUST DESPERATE. THEY CHARGE DOUBLE OF WHAT THEY SHOULD.
My husband and I walked into Ashely’s with the intentions to just look. We were greeted by Big Chris and we explained to him what we were interested in. He did not rush us into buying or haggle us to make a sale. He took us around the whole store and showed us things that we might be interested in. He explain each piece to detail and explained the level of quality of the pieces. He was knowledgeable and very helpful to us. Daryl came into play when we wanted information about the mattress and finding one of quality and fit for our needs and pockets. Daryl was very knowledgeable as well. Very impressive. We were looking to get our bed a little sooner then the delivery date given and Darryl worked everything out so we could get our bed 2 weeks earlier then the delivery date. I highly recommended either or both of them. You will not be disappointed. We look forward with working with them on our living room furniture in the near future. Go see them. Kevin W. was amazing! From the moment I walked in to closing the sale he was professional and personable. He wasn’t pushy at all (as some salesmen can be) yet was always there to help and answer any questions. He didn’t hover, but kept an eye out so he could come over if I was looking for him. Kevin was extremely patient as well. I couldn’t decide bw 2 couches and had gone to the store 3x w diff ppl to get their opinion and thoughts. I finally chose one yesterday and couldn’t be happier.
Great experience today after such a horrible experience at another furniture store. Christine and Big Chris were very helpful. Finally going to get our bedroom set after waiting 3 months for it. And having the last place completely bungle our order.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE!! I ordered a sectional and dresser months ago, I haven’t received either. I was given a date of May 16th for the dresser and 1st week on June for the sectional. Neither came. On May 16th they brought the mirror to the dresser with no dresser itself and the wrong couch. It’s now June 5th and I called to see what’s going. They don’t have a date for either and are estimating the end of July. They will not cancel the order for the dresser because I have the mirror and they will not take the mirror back. I can’t get in touch with managament. Tom was my sales person and he refuses to return my calls! Carla the customer care rep was rude and aggressive! Avoid this place at all costs.
Prior to all this quarantine nonsense going on we went shopping for a new bedroom set and couch for the living room. We went in there is a struck budget to stick by and also had knew we wanted certain things like two night stands for the bed room and an ottoman to go with the couch. Anthony was very helpful and gave us enough space but was always within wars distance for if we had any questions. We had found a couch we liked first but instead of an ottoman on display it had a huge beautiful table to match. Anthony was able to pull up the ottoman that went it&'s the couch and was able to get the set down to a reasonable price which we where happy with. Next was the hard part. After about 20 minutes of walking around we where able to decide on a bedroom set. Anthony once again came over and worked his magic tapping away in his iPad and untimely we got everything we wanted for a reasonable price that we where happy with. For the couch we also purchased a 10 year warranty which covers all stains and rips aside from animal claws or chew marks. We where not yet moved into our apartment yet so we were able to set a delivery date 3 weeks away. The delivery people called on their way giving us enough time to drive over and had everything set up within an hour. I was very happy with every part of this purchase and how professional and nice every part of this experience was.
The absolute WORST customer service I have ever encountered with any business. I was sent a defective headboard that was not manufactured or assembled correctly. The parts are not lined up correctly and the bed makes an obnoxious squeaking noise with any movement. Multiple times I was promised that someone would call me back to resolve the issue and I would never hear back. Customer service reps were extremely rude. It's clear this company doesn't care about selling garbage and treating the customer poorly.
Never, ever, ever buy furniture from this company. If I could give them zero stars, I would. I ordered a bed from them, and after several delays, was finally delivered. After the delivery guys leave, I notice the headboard is not assembled properly - there is a huge gap between the pieces. When I tried laying on the bed, it squeaked with ANY movement - it would wake my wife and I up at night. There was clearly a problem in manufacturing or with assembly. I called Ashley more than 5 times. The first time I was told someone would contact me about the issue, I never heard anything. The second time I was on hold 60 minutes before they hung up. The customer service reps are rude. I still have a defective bed with no sign that problem will be fixed. Avoid Ashley at any cost.
One star is not for the people who work here - but for the quality of the furniture. From the zippers holding in the low quality batting in the pillows, to the easily compressible foam used in the cushions, to the absolute subpar way in which material was stapled to the frame, it is no surprise that this was money WASTED. There are 2 people in the house at 110-115 lbs and another at 200. Sectional used on average 3 hours per day by 2 people and a house cat. The throw pillows are permanently deformed, the sitting cushions are permanently deformed and now spill over the ends, and the zippers on the back cushions that hold in the batting - no longer hold in the batting. DO NOT BUY ANY SEATING AT ASHLEY FUTNITURE - YOU WILL BE THROWING YOUR MONEY AWAY. It will look good for 3 months - and then the downward slide will begin. Customer Service is Lip Service - everything is simply "normal wear and tear." Ashley Furniture? Go anywhere else.
I don&'t even know where to begin with this review. I gave them one star but if there were zero stars they would get it. I have bought furniture from Bob&'s and Raymour in the past and never had the experience I am having with this company. It started because my nephew bought furniture from Ashley and said to me why don&'t i go see what they have. I went to the store in Farmingdale Long Island and Purchase A dining table, 6 chairs a buffet server, sofa and love seat ( this one) end table. I spent almost 5000 dollars. When the stuff comes in every single piece had a problem with it. I know your suppose to check everything which I did but the problems with the furniture were well hidden until I really started to look at it. Starting with the dining room chairs, they came pre made and wrapped. The delivery guys put them under the table in their spots so to the eye nothing looks wrong until i went to sit in them. Two of the chairs were not fully screwed in and the screws were stripped. So much that the chairs just wobbled when you went to move them. They had to know you couldn&'t sit on them. Then the shelves on each side of the server were put in place so nothing looks wrong or out of place until you go to put something on them and then both shelves collapsed. It turns out the side clips don&'t fit in the holes properly. If you go to put them in they just fall out. so once again to the eye it looks fine but the concerning part is the delivery guys set that up. they knew they didn&'t fit properly yet they set it up so that after they were gone and you go to use the shelf it collapses. The the best of this is the sofa. When i inspected the sofa to the eye you can&'t see anything wrong but when i looked closer the center support leg was off the floor as I get closer I push on the leg and it is just folding under the couch. When i reach my hand under you can feel the wood is broken. Once again they screwed the leg in so he had to know that the wood underneath is broken. Then i notice a pull in the material on the threading which they tucked in the seat which you would have never seen until you moved the cushion which I did and found. So as a new customer of Ashley and on my first delivery there are all these problems but the best is yet to come. Once I noticed the issues which was about a half hour after the delivery guys have left i called customer care right away to tell them what was going on. As a matter of fact i was the first caller of the day. When customer care gets on the phone they wouldn&'t even discuss my situation unless i found all the serial numbers on the products took pictures and videos of what the problems were. I spent an hour doing this just so they would talk to me. Then they proceed to tell me that they can&'t replace the items but would send parts and get a service tech to come out and try to fix the problems. they it could take up to 10 days then after the parts come I can schedule the tech to come in. I was like why should I have to wait almost two weeks on brand new products and have someone fix something that I never even used before. They said it is the policy of Ashley&'s that the salesman should tell the buyer that they can&'t replace broken new furniture that comes in. I have never heard of this ever in my life. They told me to go back to the store which i did twice and all you get is we are looking into it and we will call you back and no one ever does. It is the biggest con game I have ever seen. I should have read the reviews that are posted over social media before I spent my hard earned money their. They keep going back to well you should have looked at everything before they delivery guys left, and I keep telling them they hid the issues so well you couldn&'t tell any of these issues by looking at the products. I told them just replace the 2 chairs and the sofa and fix the shelves on the buffet server and call it a day and then i was told by a customer service manager we don&'t do that. It is a policy of Ashley not to replace but to fix the broken (brand new) products. This is total unacceptable for a furniture company like this to act in this manner. Recently purchased a dining room set, Anthony was excellent.
We purchased a sectional sofa from here just over a year ago and it's already separating from the frame. Having two kids I was sold on the worry free warranty that was a waste of money. Since its separating at a seam they will not cover it and since it's just over a year old it is outside of Ashley's warrantry. I would have been better off spending the extra on a better quality manufacturer. This is after having delivery issues when we first ordered. READ THE FINE PRINT OF THIER 3RD PARTY WARRANTY!!! It's misleading.
All of these negative reviews are very accurate. I wish I listened to these reviews, as well as others who told me Ashley is not a good company to work with. It has been over a week now that I have been fighting for my delivery fee back. Not only did they deliver on the wrong date (I have the receipt to prove it), they delivered two damaged dining chairs and have yet to follow through. So far, they’ve asked for 2 sets of photos, when the delivery guy ensured the ones he took would be enough. It has been such a headache and made the whole process of home shopping stressful when it should be exciting. Also, their customer service is extremely hard to get a hold of. Even customer care admitted that Farmingdale was difficult. Only one person genuinely helped me out. What makes it even tougher is that the salesperson I worked with (and paid well) does not work there anymore. They even told me that since the delivery is now in my home it will be harder to fight. Will never recommend this company!
My first stop when furniture shopping and I&'m happy to say I didn&'t need to explore any other stores. I loved that I was not attacked the minute I walked through the door. My boyfriend and I was able to look around on our own first. We fell in love with a couch and I was curious if they had a matching ottoman. Close by to answer our question was Anthony. He pulled up the matching ottoman right on his tablet and let me look at it before making our decision. I was nervous on the price he would quote us. But I was surprise to see it was even less than I saw online. He even said the pillows which had zip off cases were included. I loved that idea because I like to change the look of the living room every now and than. We did add the warranty on to the couch because it does cover a wide variety of issues. I&'m hoping it was worth the money if we ever need to use it and fix issues that they claim to fix. Being the couch purchase went so smoothly I decided to look at a bedroom set as well. We loved a brown barn door style bed. It seems to be made very well. The dresser seemed stable. We also purchased two night stands which have a lot of storage and room in them. I&'m hoping once we start to use everything it will hold up like I think it should. I loved that I had flexibility when picking a delivery date. They also delivery and will put it together for one fee which was great. Connie finished our purchase and was so friendly and sweet. All and all it was a pleasant experience and will have to leave an updated review once we have it delivered and use it for a little while !

Awful!!! My bedroom set is peeling and falling apart after 2 years and because I don’t have their “platinum warranty” they wouldn’t even pick up the phone to talk to me and said they’re too busy. Manager never called me back after being told I’d be called in 24hrs, customer service rep called over there for me and they wouldn’t transfer the call and told her to tell me no they’re too busy to pick up the phone. I spent $8000 furnishing my home with them and I will not do business with them ever again. Go to Macy’s , pottery barn, Ethan Allen, Raymour , bobs or west elm before you step foot in here.

After a bad experience at Ashley Home Store I decided to give them another chance . Christine Messina was very helpful and professional in helping us make a decision on den furniture . Big Chris was a pleasure to deal with with financing. I would highly recommend them both for purchases.

I purchased a wall unit back in October and took out the extended warranty to go with it I payed a lot of money for both. I noticed a chip in the unit back on 1/2 so I called right away they asked me to send pictures of the damage unit which I did within the hour, got nothing but the run around for weeks finally got through to the salesman on Wednesday and he promised me I would get a new piece on Friday no one showed up no phone call no nothing it&'s a disgrace how they treat there customer but it&'s not over yet I&'m going to have to go to the store and put on a scene maybe then I&'ll get results. Also every time I call the manager doesn&'t even have the decency to get on the phone one excuse after another stay away from Ashley furniture total rip-off
I bought furniture at this store about three months ago. Salesman was very nice. Issues happened upon delivery. Delivery truck was beat up and didn't say Ashley on it. Delivery men couldn't drop off my furniture quick enough. They were out of there in a matter of minutes. After they left I realized the hardware was missing for the console. They didn't put anything together unlike Raymour and Flanagan which couldn't do enough for me. I called customer service and they ordered the parts I was missing. The wrong parts arrived. They asked me to take pictures, which I did. I explained that all I needed was two one inch screws. I sent them pictures of both the wrong screws and the right screws. They sent me another package of the wrong parts again. I went to the store and the woman at the front desk was very helpful. She called up the piece and ordered the correct part. The correct part arrived today but I needed two and only received one. I called the store and no one could help me. I will have to go to the store again to try to get this fixed after three months of trying. I wIll never buy anything from Ashley again.

Stay away!! Extremely poor delivery service. Delivery team manhandled new couch and bent the reclining mechanism, then assembled the couch incorrectly. Then rushed out without any time to test recliner or ask questions. After contacting Ashley, sending pics, serial numbers etc, they ordered the wrong part under warranty and now have no estimate when the correct part will be obtained. Almost three weeks with a broken couch and no end in sight. Be warned. Update: After just over three weeks finally received a replacement couch.

Back in early November we purchased a leather couch and ottoman/chair and a half at the Ashley store in Farmingdale. The salesman (Michael Roig) told us he did not have a business card however he said he would be emailing us his contact information. We were told to call him if we had any questions/concerns including any delivery issues. We never received his contact information. Our furniture was delivered a week later and after the delivery men left, we noticed a small rip in the ottoman and on the chair. We called the store however all calls get bounced to a call center in New Jersey. I called the store and I was told to follow the instructions in an email that I would receive and to send a bunch of pictures. I did this as instructed and when I followed up a few days later they said they never received the pictures. I resent them and when I followed up I was told that they had received them and they would be in touch. A week later Ashley calls to say that since they haven't received the pictures they were closing out the account. I sent the pictures a 3rd time and this time they again confirmed receipt' A week later I received in the mail 2 large pieces of leather which are to replace the damaged areas. I called for an appointment and the earliest I could get was in 4 weeks (12/31). I was told by Ashley I would receive a call 2 days prior confirming a time. The only message I received was last night at 6:19 from J&M furniture repair cancelling without any reason my appointment for today. I called them back last night and today and I have not heard back from them. I will never step foot in an Ashley store again. Avoid this place if you can. Horrible customer service

Nice selection of furniture
ZERO STARS!!! A bunch of scammers! They sell you a broken glass table and expect you to inspect it in matter of 24hrs. What if I'm in the middle of a move and I cant? Open the box a month later and the glass for a table is broken, and not even all of the broken glass is in the box, they only give you half the shards. Btw the table was used, some screws were still left in it.
I have 2 tears in my couch that is almost brand new. Couches were delivered the last week of February. I’ve been dealing with this problem since August. Your service department is trying to tell me that this is how the couch was made. I am appalled at the customer service. I have had 2 service men come out and not fix the issue. I have had enough fabric sent to me to make another entire couch. Customer service has been so rude and no one will let me speak to a manager. In no way, shape or form is it normal for the stuffing of the couch to be showing. The seen is ripped in those two spots and no one is willing to fix it. I’ve been dealing with this issue since the end of August. I’ve have spent countless hours on the phone with customer service and my couch is still not fixed. In the interim there was a piece of the frame poking through the back of the couch that was sharp. The second tech that came out managed to fix that but told me that the problem pictured above was not fixable. Then proceeded to tell customer service to order a new back to the sofa. I had all of the material at my home at the time of both service calls and both techs refused to use the material. I don’t know why they would order more of the same material after they told me it couldn’t be used. I am beyond upset with the whole situation.
Very Disappointed in the customer service. Spent over 3k for a Sofa/Chaise and after not even a year the spring on the chaise popped and broke through the bottom hitting my wood floor. Called customer service and had to wait 20 mins... so instead my wife went directly to the store, bringing picture proof. The service rep said she would send over the things to warranty and have a technician come out to look at it. Or best case scenario they would deem it damaged/defective and have it replaced. We are hardly home, we don't have children, and don't have many people over.. so how could this even happen. It's been over a week now and haven't had heard any updates. It's like we have been neglected. ASHLEY you promised you were better then other furniture stores.. but you are very close to being compared to BOB's Furniture and their bogus service.
Good sales guy, terrible delivery and lackluster product. Its almost like whats in the show room is 10x the quality of what they deliver. If you have an issue, good luck getting someone to help you.

Received a delivery window between 12:15-4:15pm. Furniture didn't show up until 6:15pm causing me to miss work. Delivery men were unapologetic and very rude. Furniture was also damaged so I sent everything back with the delivery men. Called my salesman Dennis and told him how dissatisfied I was and that I was considering cancelling the whole order. He pleaded with me not to and to reschedule delivery and that he would call me the next day and would "take care of me." Trusting him, i rescheduled the delivery and awaited his call. Delivery came and unfortunately i couldnt take off of work again so i had a family member wait at my house for delivery all the time not hearing back from Dennis. I got home from work as the delivery men were pulling away, inspected the furniture and discovered a couple scuff marks and a small nail sticking out of the back of my brand new sopha. Called Dennis again who had still never gotten back to me and explained the situation. He told me there's not much he can do after delivery was made and i would have to go through customer care. Customer care would not send me a new sofa, instead they said they would send out a repairman in a few days to fix it. Contacted Dennis yet again and told him what he did wasnt right. He told me to contact him again the next day and he would work something out. Contacted him the next day and once again did not receive a reply or call back. Terrible customer service, rude delivery men, and damaged furniture. Will never go back.

I walked into Ashley not knowing what I wanted. The salesman Tony was awesome. Very down to earth and so so helpful. I walked out with a great deal and everything that would go perfectly in my knew apt.

We ordered 2 bedroom sets as well as a sofa that we told the salesman repeated we only wanted to look at sofas that were a available as convertibles and a chair and the “worry free” protection plan. We were there for hours and when we were finished our salesman had to hand us off to someone else to finalize the order. On the print out we went over it just said sofa with a model #. When the furniture was delivered there were a couple of problems w one of the bedroom sets which I was dealing with upstairs while they brought the couch in downstairs. The tech couldn’t finish putting together one of the beds and the drawers were not sitting right in one of the night stands. I scheduled 2 return trips for the techs to finish putting the beds together, but still needed parts for the nightstand drawer (which were supposed to be ordered twice, but did not get ordered until the third time I called; and were finally delivered to the wrong address). I still have to reschedule for a different tech to come fix that. When we tried to open the couch for someone to sleep on we realized it wasn’t a convertible. When I called customer service regarding this new issue, I was told that there was nothing that could be done because we have had the furniture for a couple of months already! I told the representative I spoke with that I wanted a call back from her superior. She said that wouldn’t be til the next week. I’m still waiting for that call! I want them to take the sofa back and get me the convertible sofa!

I’ve been looking for a couch that had to fit non-standard dimensions and Big Chris from Ashley furniture in Farmingdale was the only person who took the time to figure out the layout with me and get a custom order together. It was the best experience buying furniture that I’ve ever had.

Purchased the bed2 month ago , arrived as broken. The quality of the bed is cheap. Sent guy to my house fixed twice , still broken. Call customer service over 10times. They said they would replace a new one for me. However they only send the bed head board. So disappointed I have taken 3days off from my job and stay at home waiting for them because the bed fixing or replacing. I wish they can take away off the bed. Call customer service now to ask for manager Bebe. She didn’t return my calls. Never purchase from them. Wasting my time . Customer service doesn’t care about their customer. I wann give them no stars if I could.

Worst experience ever! They charged me for a more expensive mattress and sent to my house a cheaper one. I tried to resolve the problem for a week now and nobody gives me an update about the situation. Never coming back here!
My table has been peeling off paint and it is only a little more than a year old. The store and the customer service refuse to help in Any way! After 1 year they have no responsibility or integrity to stand by their defective products. It’s dangerous and toxic to have flecks of paint getting into the food of my infant and toddler. Beyond disappointed with Ashley homestore- I intend to take further action and make sure that there are SAFETY standards on their furniture.

I bought a table a year and a half ago from this store. The entire top of the table started to roll and peel and flake off. Toxic paint or top coat that got into my 9 month olds food. I called the company the customer service line and went to the store. They will not do anything to help- wont stand by their defective, toxic and dangerous products. Don’t be fooled by the nice styling their products aren’t just bad quality they are dangerous - a table shouldn’t flake apart especially only after a little over a year

The real Ashley HomeStore MVP award goes to Stan! I visited the store a few weeks back to buy a couch for my new apartment in the city. For over two hours, I went back and forth ideating between which couch was the best fit for me and my price point. Stan answered every question, provided honest feedback, and offered top notch customer service and ultimately helped me make the right decision on my current couch. I have never left a Google review anywhere before - but I wanted to make sure that Stan got his recognition because I think EVERYONE should get the opportunity to work with him! I have to tell everyone Never purchase from Ashley Furniture!!!! The store has a mission statement which states they care for their customer. Absolutely not true. We have been going back and forth with the customer service about sending back a mattress . The mattress is a rock and our sleep has been awful for the past month. No consideration from this company and no help in an exchange or refund of this mattress. A purchase at this store will end in aggravation if for any reason the product isn’t as advertised !!!! Stay Away !!!
Horrible customer service. Order date was changed 4 times. 60-70 minute wait on the phone to talk to customer service only to be re-directed to someone via email. This person never answered any of my 5 emails. My wife and I have always bought our couches from Ashley and we are loyal customers, but I will never again buy anything from this store.
The customer service and mission statement they proclaim is truly not how they handle anything. They don't care for the customer care at all, The run around is horrible and no satisfaction for a mattress that we can not sleep on at all. Need help and don't know where to turn?
Although the set that I wanted was discontinued, my salesman, Big Chris searched for it, found what I wanted, and pieced it together for a good deal. First experience with Ashley Furniture and I will come back.

Went in and bought almost 2,000$ bedrm set. As was told from the sales associate if you cancel order 2 days before delivery, you will get your money back no questions asked with in 7-14 days, and was on receipt as well. I went in the next morning (was less than 24 hrs) and canceled my order. It's been over a month and still have not gotten my money back. Countless phone calls to corporate and Farmingdale store. They have given me the run around and nobody knows or has a CLEAR answer as to where or when I will get my refund. Handing your money to a business you can trust is huge, so I will NEVER shop at this store again.
Came in with my girlfriend at around 6:45 on Friday. Walked around for about 15 minutes and decided on what we wanted to buy. Waited and waited and waited for anybody to say hi or ask us if we needed help. The people who came in behind us were immediately greeted and helped. We had cash in hand ready to buy and were never helped. The store was not busy at all. Can’t help but to think it’s because we look so young.
I’m very happy with my purchase at Ashley’s furniture store. Darren was a big help when my husband and I were looking for furniture . The quality of the furniture is great. When we came back to order Darren wasn’t here, but big Chris helped us with our order. Both sales associates are great at Ashley’s furniture store. We will come back here again. We do have another store closer to where we live, but this store is more helpful and the layout is much better.
I just received my couch from Ashley furniture in Farmingdale and I came to realize that my sectional does NOT connect I am very disappointed !!!! my couch is sliding all over my wood floors I don’t know what to do ... the woman that help me her name is Krystle she told me that the couches will connect so I’m very disappointed and let down I just spent so much money on this couch now I have to go buy connectors other than that the couch I received is very comfortable but be aware that this couch doesn’t connect !!!!!!
AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE. If could give this store zero stars I would. I had an easy time getting a price match in store and setting up everything for financing. I ordered a bed frame with storage which was set for delivery and assembly. The delivery guys assembled my bed and there was a language barrier so we couldn&'t communicate well. Basically, I was sent a bedframe that was supposed to be for a boxspring. I specifically ordered his bed because I was told I would not need a box spring, but I would need the wooden roll slats, which came with the bed. I would not have to order any extra pieces. I was told by the person on the phone which is from the headquarters that the wooden slats aren&'t even included even though it&'s very clearly stated in the description online. I then called the store who told me yes, I should have the wooden slats and they made me come and pick them up. I pick them up and then took them home, and realized that the slats would not work with this bedframe. I called the person who sold me the bed at the store, and they had told me that they were doing ME a FAVOR by reordering the right bed rails for my bed and that they should be delivered and assembled the next day. Today the new rails were assembled and the wooden slats did not fit. I called the store who gave me the slats yesterday and they said that since the worker and his manager who dealt with me yesterday weren&'t there, that I could not be helped today. Mind you I&'ve had to sleep at a friends house on the floor because my room is not big enough to have both the mattress and the bedframe laying down at the same time, so I couldn&'t even sleep on the floor of my own place. I took off work today to to be home for the second delivery even though there should&'ve never been a second delivery. I have lost hundreds of dollars of money from taking off work today and yesterday, and having to go to the store yesterday to assemble something even though I paid for assembly. The headquarters has been snooty and keep you on hold for 30 minutes at a time. I&'ve even contacted Ashley HomeStore on Twitter who has done nothing but &"forwarded my information to the appropriate people.&" The only person who tried to help was the assembly worker who tried calling headquarters himself and headquarters told him that I have to deal with the store that gave me the slats.
Just came in for a loveseat for my office and sofa (to replace one my pitbull ate). My salesman Big Chris was super helpful and provided me with both practical, cost effective and beautiful options. He even helped me reimagine my home office and I found a great L Shaped desk for a better fit and compliment my new loveseat. He’s been the most helpful since I have been shopping for furniture. Totally recommend this store and ask for Big Chris!!

My wife and I went to Ashley home store for our furniture for our whole home. We went to many furniture stores and I got to say that this store and location was the most pleasant experience. We did not feel pressured at all. The employees were very educated on the products and worked with us on our budget. We will definitely return when we need more furniture. My shopping experience today at Ashley HomeStore was such an easy and enjoyable process from start to finish. Big Chris showed me pieces that fit my style and room needs in a no pressure environment and carried different end tables across the showroom so I could see how they would look with my chosen set. I would highly recommend shopping here to my family and friends.

So this place was great buying the furniture. Everyone was helpful . Nice selection. My problem came after . The delivery team was messy . One of the pieces was damaged . It took 6 weeks, hours on hold and several phone calls to get it replaced. Also they sent the piece to the billing address (my boyfriend house) and not my address which is where they delivered the furniture too . I say as long as nothing goes wrong you should have an excellent experience otherwise beware.

Been on hold for three hours! I have not been able to reach anyone in this store yet. I have messaged on Facebook, instagram, emailed company and sales rep. The wood on my couch cracked and is going through the material. This should not have happened. I am so upset right now.
Rip off, they were selling a set.of four chairs which they advertise inline for 95.00 and this guy was trying to sell them to us for 135.00 a chair before tax. What?!

I never write reviews but this experience called for one. Came in to furnish an entire apartment. No stress, no pressure, just beautiful furniture with unbeatable prices. Bobby and Tim helped us out and they were truly amazing. 10/10 reccomend and we’ll be coming back.
Furniture wasn&'t delivered on time when it came the guy measured said wouldn&'t fit left reschedule took forever I went to the store personally said they&'ll take care of me but nothing happened I canceled the order they deducted money for delivery for something that didn&'t happened cause it was attempted they charged me for it month passes by still haven&'t received my refund check THE WORSE STORE EVER FOR FURNITURE They&'ll also tell you they&'ll call you back and never will I&'ll never recommend this store to anyone
Big Chris is fantastic! From the minute we walked in, we got top notch service. He listened to exactly what we were looking for and was able to guide us as we searched for the perfect bedroom set. I couldn’t have been happier with his knowledge of the product as well as what would esthetically fit our space and meet our needs. His suggestions were spot on and we are thrilled to have been able to get what we were hoping for. He made contacting him so easy to fit our busy schedules and was extremely accommodating. Purchased a kitchen table and chair set on 3/17/19 and was delivered defective. Upon many phone calls an exchange was agreed upon. That exchange occurred on4/3/19 and the furniture once again was defective. Horrendous Customer service, and this store is not selling quality merchandise. This sale occurred at the Farmingdale N.Y. Ashely Home Store. In many of our conversations we have learned this Furniture store is privately owned and not part of the Ashley franchise, which during the sale they do not inform you of. Worst experience we have ever had, avoid this store at all costs. Wold not want to see any other person experience this.
Sales Associate’s Tay and Chris were Fantastic! Tay greeted us when we walked in. She Offered us a Cold bottle of water. They were both attentive to our needs. Offered us suggestions that helped us make a decision that fit not only in our Budget financially but also fit our needs durability and dimension wise. They’re a must see if you’re in the market for furniture.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING HERE! I can’t emphasize this enough. Great sales people, until you pay and are out the door. Then the delivery issues begin, the incompetence is astounding. Don’t know how to assemble the furniture and don’t deliver everything you bought. Good luck getting it after that. Been 3 weeks now and I’m heading back to get a refund on the item that wasn’t delivered but is “coming in tommorow” for the past 2 1/2 weeks. Sales people won’t return calls and the adjustable base I bought wasn’t set up properly but Ashley says “ we delivered it, we’re not coming back so deal with leggett and platt now. Even though it’s not a product issue but a direct result of incompetent delivery staff that set it up wrong. I could go on and on about the way they brush you off and promise to call you back with the info you need, but never do. How you call the number and are told you have to call a different number only to be told by them that you have to call the number you called originally. It’s to the point that the store should be closed and all the staff fired. You will regret any purchases you make here. There are about a dozen other furniture stores on the same road, do yourself a favor and use one of them.

After many successful visits to Ashley furniture for myself, I brought my mom there to buy a bedroom set for her new place in New York. She found a set she purchased it. It was a large purchase and I offered to take her to other places to look further. NO! This is what she wanted. As delivery day came closer she began to panic about the purchase she made. It is 9:30PM and the furniture is being delivered tomorrow morning at 7:00AM. Curiosity got the best of me and I checked the the website to see what it looked like one more time. lol and behold I found lower prices on the website. I immediately sent an email to the company and within 20 minutes I received a call from Darryl (I believe he’s a Vice President), regarding my email. (It is now 10:00PM) He stated that he wanted to address my concern immediately!!! Is this CUSTOMER SERVICE or what!!!! Not only does Ashley carry a beautiful selection of furniture to suit all needs and tastes, but they treat their customers like they’re the only one in the store. I would tell anyone who needs furniture, living room, dining room, bedroom (even for kids), and casual den furniture, this is the place you want to go. They even have a full mattress department which makes buying a bedroom set easy, because you can get your mattress at the same time. Dennis the Sales Associate and Neil the Store Manager were a pleasure to deal with. I met Dennis the week before when I purchased a rocker recliner for my daughter, who’s having a baby and wanted it for her nursery. After five stores, Ashley was the only place that had exactly what she wanted. Well, as I said at the beginning of this review, if you need furniture and you live in Nassau or Suffolk County, or even Queens, go out to the Ashley Store on Broadhollow Road in Farmingdale. I called their customer service to try to get a new cushion today. My current cushions are pulling from the piping. The woman Alexa I think her name was rudely told me I was 2 days out of my one year warranty and then proceeded to hang up on me. This place is a joke and no one in the customer service department wants to help. I have called multiple times to get this issue addressed and have be hung up on too many times to count. This is the second set of cushions I was trying to replacw from this company from the same sofa. Stay away from this place and give your money to a company that will actually try to help you after the sale. Poor customer service in my eyes.

Over priced & doesn't last. Bought our recliner sofa & 2 separate recliners for different rooms. Paid over 5 thousand for all, barely a year, sofa seats are sagging & recliner chairs are sticking when trying to recline. We don't have kids to wear down the furniture & we are very careful. Not made well. I think in the store, the furniture is maintained so your made to think it lasts.

He was extremely knowledgeable and even more friendly! Turned out that we had a lot in common with him. Horrible. Ashley Furniture website beats you over the head with popups and efforts to snag your email address. Their brick and mortar location is exactly the same. As soon as you walk through the door the salesman is following you. No matter how politely you say you're just looking, he will follow you around making inane conversation that he was obviously taught at some lame training session. I couldn't get out of there fast enough. Never again.

Very disappointed with Ashley’s Furniture. My wife and I purchased 20 pieces of furniture including a new dinner table, chairs, sofas, accent tables, clock, server and accent chairs. Ashley’s charges a $250 delivery And guarantees white glove service. We were having Thanksgiving and Christmas at our new home and wanted our house ready. My wife and I were not home at the time of delivery so I had someone waiting for the delivery. The dinner table had markings/scratches all along the top (Supposedly it will be replaced - we were told that the table will be left and just call back if we can’t live with the markings. It sounds easy enough... but I had to put a claim in and still waiting over a month for the replacement table). I was also supposed to get a server that matched the table - it was not delivered but someone how it was marked as delivered. I have made over 10 calls and each time its a different story. Today I was told that since it was marked as delivered, a new one has not been scheduled to be delivered and that’s why I haven’t received it yet. Before the Holidays I was told that they didn’t have any in stock. I don’t know what to believe anymore. The representative today had to email someone (I believe the person who delivered my furniture) to have him undo it and mark it as not delivered so they can schedule a delivery. As I was in the phone, my wife said she had called right before Christmas and was told the same thing. Also, One of the accendent chairs was missing the legs and has been sitting on the floor because 1) they forgot to load them in the truck the day of delivery 2) When I called to inquire about the legs, they send the legs via UPS - a technician was sent to my house and there was only 1 leg in the box. Now I’m waiting for the remaining 3 legs. The whole experience has been a nightmare. The amount of phone calls and emails is ridiculous and the documentation is poorly entered. Every time I call I have to explain the entire situation over and I get a different excuse each time. I even had one representative said, “no one is perfect we all make mistakes.” But how many phone calls does it take for someone to get it right... till this day my chair is still on the floor, I have no server (don’t even have a date on when it will be delivered), and no replacement table.

Shannon was awesome. She was patient with us and not pushy like other sales people at other furniture stores. She is knowledgeable of the products and has a nice personality. Very friendly. Highly recommend. UPDATE: Shannon is no longer there but Big Chris was just as outstanding if not better. I returned to this location even though I passed at least four other local locations to get to Farmingdale because I am valued as a customer and I like the selection.
