I’ve been to many furniture stores but never Ashley, and I’m so glad that this location was my first impression of the company as a whole. Tanbir helped me from the moment I entered the store, giving me nothing but the utmost courtesy and respect. He educated me on bar stools because i have a special bar height in my kitchen, and then went out of his way to tell me more about the company and how it stands out from its competitors. Though I didn’t make a purchase, tanbir was never pushy and felt 100% genuine. I highly recommend this location, and definitely ask for Tanbir.

So I was at Ashley in Glendale looking for a recliner for me after surgery. I met Pearl, and she showed me a beautiful bed for wellness post op. i just want to say i love the bed. however I really enjoyed working with Pearl. she is professional , caring and really knowledgeable. I usually dot. do reviews But i want to say she really impressed me with her costume service. I will be back to Pearl for the bed. No recliner lol.

I recommend not paying insurance for any furniture at this place . Everything is a lie. In the store they practically force you to buy it. I paid for a sofa insurance and when I submitted a claim with photos of how the sofa was, they told me that the insurance did not cover any stains. Meanwhile in the store they tell you that everything is covered and that I don't have to worry about anything. DONT PAY FOR INSURANCE

Horrible customer service. Mom bought a kitchen table a few years back and immediately we had problems with the chairs. We tried to get it serviced and fixed and they claimed they had only one person in jersey to come and fix the chairs and they were never available. How is that possible when the store is in queens? You only have 1 person that travels to fix any problem you have?They made it so hard for the customer to get the chairs fixed within the time frame allowed. Needless to say the chairs to the kitchen set are always loose. When you pay 600 dollars for a kitchen table service should be better. Not such a great place after all.

They will tell you they are a 3rd party and that you will need to contact Ashley. Anything over 1 year Ashley will not cover! Buy furniture from a better furniture company that sells furniture that is worth the price. Stay away!!!

Kind and very patient.

It has taken me a while to write this post. I went into Ashley excited to get my new couch. I was told about the price and the 169 fee for it not fitting through my door. Which I was in total agreement. Then the paper work started. I applied for the financing all that went through quickly and without a problem. But then I spent 2 and a half hours there because of various reasons. One was because they needed some kind of code and all of the managers and operations manager that they called either did not answer or did not know what to do. Then after about the second hour, the manager who was there says " oh it looks like this is going to need the 169 assembly fee twice because it's two pieces". They then said they would let know for sure the next day. No one ever told me, not that time or, the previous time that I would have to pay the 169 fee twice. Had I known that I would've taken my time and shopped around. The next day an assistant manager called me and she was VERY rude. I don't remember her name I know she had a short cut. She told me, I infact was going to have to pay the fee twice. And I told her I would not have agreed to buy the couch had I known that upfront, and I was not sure if I still wanted the couch. She then said "well you already applied for financing so it's going to be difficult to get a couch anywhere else". It was rude and honestly very DISGUSTING. She was rude and she was very disgusting. Ashley furniture is a huge corporation and they could've waived on of those fees for my inconvenience of 1. Spending 2 and a half hours there on a Thursday after work and 2. Not telling me upfront about the fee being charged twice. I went ahead and continued with the order because my husband wanted the couch. Honestly I regret it and will NEVER be shopping at this Ashley's again. Customer service is NOT their number 1 priority. I worked in customer service and stores for many years and I know for a fact that Ashley's could've definitely compensated me for my inconvenience. To add fuel to the fire they offered to give me 12 month financing instead of 6. I'll be done paying it in 4 or less so I did not need the financing. Stay away from this store the managers are DISGUSTING and do not care about their customers. I finally moved into my new home and was so excited to buy my new couch this location and their managers made my experience terrible and honestly whenever I look at the couch I'm reminded of it. Stay far away from this place. Their sales people however are AMAZING! Jojo was AMAZING and is the ONLY reason I bought from this store and did not go to the green acres location to order the same couch. I and my family have ordered many things from Raymour and Flanigan and they go above and beyond to make their customers happy. I will be paying off this couch then giving it away. I'm so disgusted my this place and how they run business. Do yourself the favor and do not shop here. Raymour's quality is much better anyway..trust me!

The stuff is very rude and unprofessional. I was with a kid who was playing around with armchair and the customer assistant with an unpleasant tone told me to watch my kid. I was interested in buying a sofa and the assistant told me its available immediately, then passed me over to her colleague. We spent 30 mins double checking the measurements, elevator size, color, policy protections etc. In the end when I was about to order she told me that the sofa will be available in a month. She just shrugged when I mentioned her colleague saying the opposite info It’s been a while since I saw that attitude to customers. Extremely disappointed.

The lady Richa who helped me actually she didn’t even helped, she was looking down on me when I mentioned her that I am looking for a sofa under 1000$ she laughed and then was trying to sell me breakdown services of 169$ saying the sofa won’t fit in my house. And then I decided to buy a sofa which was around 600$ but then she was nowhere to be seen, she was helping other customer which was fine but I believe she has to finish with me first and then she can help other customer. I was so disappointed and I walked out and ordered online. I would never go back to this store.

The Store itself is set up rather nicely, but the pricing in store versus on line is a rather a big difference. I was helped by the store manager Richa. At first she seemed nice but when I price matched and denied protection services she completely changed her attitude, she was so rude and no longer welcoming, all because I did not want to purchase according to her terms. At the very end she didn’t even walk us to the door or say goodbye she had an associate walk us out another exit in the back of the store. Like my purchase wasn’t good enough and I don’t deserve to exit the main entrance. I’m close to canceling the order and purchasing at another kinder Ashley. Customer service is everything, and I did not get that here.

I have been contacting them for about three weeks now without any headway. I have not used my bed for three weeks. They got back to me today saying they were sorry and there is nothing they can do. The women helping us pushed us to get a couch and a love seat, when I said I'm not sure it will fit so we want to go home and check first she said DONT WORRY YOU CAN RETURN IT. It came and we immediately called that it didnt fit and now they are saying final sale even if it was their salespersons fault. They are liars and have terrible customer service, I would make sure your credit cards are able to block payments if this ever happens to you. DO NOT SHOP AT THIS STORE THEY ARE ALL LIARS.

Hector was very helpful and great

The most horrible experience with a sales person and store I've ever had. Manager was dishonest and manipulative. After opening a store card and purchasing a Chofa for myself and a mattress for my mother, spending around 3200 dollars, i was told i had pay an extra delivery fee on top of the delivery fee i already paid for my couch. Turns out this was complete bs so i cancel the couch. As for the mattress, it was a floor model which we decided to buy from my mother because we thought it was a specific Stearns and foster mattress that she really wanted and the price was very good. We were told that even though it was a floor model we would have some kind of a warranty in case there was an issue with it. Come to find out not only is the mattress defective but it is not even the model we were told it was. Now we are stuck with a Mattress that I've already paid $500 towards because it was sold to us as is which also wasn't fully explained to us at the time. I have no recourse and I'm stuck paying off a defective mattress that my 65 year old mother who has back issues has to sleep on in discomfort every night. I am beyond disgusted with this location and this store and would never ever buy a thing from them in my life or recommend them to anyone.

Hector was Encouraging, engaging, speaks clearly, all information is given plus some, friendly, and great salesman. Definitely recommend him and would be working with him in the future if we come back to Ashleys Furniture Store.

This is really sad because I usually don’t write reviews or dare to take money out of someone’s pockets or food out of their mouth. Let me start by saying this review is not towards Hector at all. He is actually one of the most genuine human beings I have ever met. I realized the others just want to make a quick buck. They do not care about you. Once they got your money and they made a sale and get their commission, they automatically have a “who gives a damn about the customer” attitude. No one returns your phone calls or texts (I have proof). First of all I felt uncomfortable by the stares I was getting from some of the employees in the store. I brought a furniture bed set for my mom and Hector was sweet enough to deliver it for her. I ordered two mattress. One for me and one for my mother. I got promised word that they would come “early”. My building only allows delivery from 1:00pm-4:00pm. THEY LITERALLY TOLD ME THEY WERE GOING TO DELIVER MY FURNITURE BETWEEN 1:00pm-4:00pm BECAUSE THEY HAVE TO RESPECT MY BUILDING TIME WINDOW. I was told they were coming early to deliver my mattress. I called customer service (not someone from the store) at 3:50pm and they said they spoke to the driver and that they’re in front of my building. I rushed downstairs at 3:54pm in which they were not even downstairs. THEY SHOWED UP AT 4:16PM WITH BOTH MATTRESSES AND I HAD TO END UP PAYING $100.00 FEE FOR INCONVENIENCE FOR THE OTHER TENANTS BECAUSE THEY DELIVERED MY MATTRESSES PASSED THE RESPECTED TIME WINDOW. THE DELIVERY GUYS HAD EVEN THE NERVE TO WAIT FOR A TIP! I had order a mattress cover which is on my receipt and NEVER even received it. At this point, I just want a refund for it. I really don’t want to go back to this store. When it comes to me your word is everything. This store does not stay true to their word. Only Hector did. Just be prepared to walk in a store where there is wolves in sheep’s clothing. I thought I would have a good experience but no I didn’t. I feel lied to for some money. There was no honesty. I know everyone needs money but I wouldn’t act genuine and then lie to people just to get it. I will be spreading word. UPDATE: I ORDERED A MATTRESS COVER IN WHICH I HAVE PROOF I NEVER RECEIVED. I HAVE A VOICEMAIL OF THEM OFFERING ME A REFUND AND ITS THE NEW YEAR AND I STILL NEVER RECEIVED A REFUND OR AN UPDATED RECEIPT. I JUST REALLY FEEL SCAMMED.

Jesus Christ, I have never been more stressed. Please save yourself the trouble and don't shop at Ashley's, especially don't shop at this location. I don't want to get into the entire story about how the salespeople are incompliant and how they are cheats and liars. We did not receive what we ordered, and Ashley refused to send us the missing piece or refund us. Ashley's delivery people also damaged our new floors and refused to take responsibility. They will also pretend to give you a discount in-store but what they really do is inflate their prices and give you a fake discount that reflects the Ashley website. Example: The Piece in the store: $2,169.99 (but they gave us a 20% discount, so it came out to $1,750) Same piece online: $1,750Also, keep in mind (cause they did NOT tell us this, and they won't tell you) that they don't take returns. Once it's in your home, you are stuck with it. And from reading other reviews, it looks like they won't give you a refund even if you don't accept it into your home.Everything I mentioned above is not even the tip of the iceberg. Seriously don't go to this place don't order from them. Any other furniture store will have better customer service and sales associates. My sales associate didn't even know what a hutch was. How do you not know what a hutch is, and you work at a furniture store? Don't go, don't go, save yourself a headache and DON'T GO

I am giving this store one star because the way I have been treated after I canceled my order. Everything went smoothly in the store, I did as the sales representative asked me to. Went home and measured my livingroom, my door way and elevator. The delivery people sucked and that is not on Ashley's. So whatever, we now try to figure out how I will get my sectional after the botched delivery. It was a disaster, then we come to an agreement of them paying for my special breakdown delivery. But I can't get my furniture for like a MONTH! Absolutely not! Refund me my money please! They do what they can to keep me as a customer. I am completely disappointed and just want my money back. So this is where it gets worse. It has been two weeks and I still have not received a refund. Now after multiple attempts to reach them, I finally get into contact with the store. I am told it will still be another week and a half before I get a refund. Not one person from the store has reached out to me. Mind you I have been texting the representative that "helped" me. Just a complete lack of communication and disregard for the customer once they're not getting your money. Here's the kicker, I went to an Ashley's retailer and got my sectional delivered 3 days later. So yeah, this place gets one star in my book.

Hi I had buy from ashlay furniture from woodhaven showroom. Sofa recliner and coffee table with 5 year warranty .after one year my sofa damaged by color faid and skin damaged seats are dead. When call them I ha e 5 year warranty but they told me they can not cover this kind of damage. Please I request to everyone don't buy from ashley furniture. I am going to sue on ashlay furniture. I spend $10.000 dollars for this garbage furniture

Ashley Furniture is trying to cheat customers. I bought a very nice loveseat, then went online to look at the armchair that the sales person said matched. The loveseat I had just purchased was priced $300 less online. As an experiment I tried to put the same loveseat on my cart to see if there were any hidden fees. Ashley's website would not let me put it in my cart unless I typed in my zip code. As soon as I did, the price jumped back up. Ashley is targeting more affluent areas unfairly even if the goods are exactly the same. I will be shopping at Ashley in the future and suggest you don't either.

Also the transparency there some minor flubs with purchasing process but the staff was up front about it. What was also amazing is the on time delivery! He took his time to thoroughly help us find a sofa, answer questions and even though we needed the item shipped to DC (which they can’t do from the NYC stores) Andre still took his time to show us sofas and reminded me to take pictures of the model so that we could order it online or find in another Ashley store near DC. I really appreciated his time. I’m sure they work on some sort of commission and yet, he was genuine, helpful and I will go back to shop for other pieces and tell my family who lives near about the good customer service we received. My experience at Ashley’s was wonderful. Vauda Flint was the person who helped me and she was wonderful even my 10 year old loved her. He refused to shop anywhere else because he said every else was rude. She was pleasant to speak with, helpful with picking furniture and colors I wanted and patient (I take forever to decide). She gave me enough space to tour the place but was always attentively close by. I had forgot to take pictures before I left on Sunday and I texted her and she personally created a portfolio of products I wanted last min over night and sent texted it to me. Everything went well with the shopping experience:) the representative was amazing and courteous. She was even very responsive to my texts. But the delivery was terrible update of them forgetting to place the couch on the truck. And getting here the following day at 8pm. I took 2 days of work to wait for them. Not good. Need a difference 3rd party delivery service.

My experience shopping at this location was perfect! I came in to purchase a couch for my living room and that’s what I got.The sales rep that helped me is Miguel and he was the absolute best. When I tell you guys this man sat with us and helped me imagine every single possible way that I could convert the couch I REALLY wanted, to fit my living room. Miguel completely drew a picture of exactly what I had in mind for what I wanted my living room to look like. I am an extremely indecisive person but Miguel made it sooo easy for me to make a decision. He was able to find me exactly what I wanted and more!! Every single on of my questions were answered, every concern I had was addressed and he was very knowledgeable about the product. Terrible Experience with Ashley's Furniture I regret to say that our experience with Ashley's Furniture has been nothing short of disappointing. Despite assurances regarding the restuffing of our couch, we were blatantly misled. Not only were we unable to locate replacement parts for damaged sections, but the fact that the couch has been discontinued made matters even worse. Despite investing in a supposedly comprehensive 5-year warranty, it feels utterly worthless given the lack of support when we needed it most. This experience has left us deeply dissatisfied and disillusioned. We cannot in good conscience recommend Ashley's Furniture to anyone after this ordeal.

DO NOT purchase your furniture from this store!! They will lie to make a sell saying they have items on stock that they do not, they will not respond to phone calls continuously cancel deliveries and will not compensate you for any inconvenience. The manager Kendrick does not return phone calls or will leave you on hold for hours. I have never experienced such a company that does not value its customers, I purchases a sofa in March that they said they had in stock and didn’t receive it until May. The customer service line is also horrible they speak over you reciting policies and have no empathy. I will never purchase something here again, I will also warn everyone I can.

After writing the original review (original below unedited), I was able to reach a good gentleman named Austin at Ashley Furniture Queens who was able to make things right. Instead of being passed around and having difficulties getting things straightened out, Austin took over and became my personal liason to ensure that the correct technician came to fix the bed and replace the faulty frame. He also ensured it was a smooth seamless process which was completely the opposite of what I had experienced earlier. it was truly a day and night difference from what I was going through earlier. Yes, things did not move as fast as I would like but then given today's situation, Austin and Ashley Furniture really hustled and got the job done. I have nothing but good things to say about Austin and the experience would make me purchase furniture in the future from the Queens store. ----Original Review---- Buying a bed from Ashley furniture here has been one of the worst experiences of my life due to the poor quality of furniture and the sheer ineptitude and incompetence of not only the furniture store but the deliverymen involved. Ashley furniture delivered a damaged bed and the delivery men scratched and damaged by brand new hardwood floors when they set up the bed. When I inspected the bed, the drawers wouldn't close correctly and there was this black tar like substance on the frame. When I confronted the deliverymen with these issues, they literally ran away and did not let me sign or acknowledge the damaged good. When I called customer care, they said they would send a repairman to help fix the bed. When the repairman came in 2 weeks later, he said he couldnt do anything and I needed a new bed. When I asked about a new bed to Ashley Furniture, it took a month for them to sort out the paperwork as they kept rejecting their own inspectors report that the bed was needed to be replaced. I finally got the delivery scheduled today and they were refused entry because they sent unvaccinated deliverman; i had explicitly requested that the proof of vaccination is needed for delivery but they ignored me. When I called customer care, they told me to pick it up myself at the warehouse. This experience is not over and is honestly the worst furniture purchase experience I ever had. Not only did they deliver broken furniture that is still sitting in my room, but they damaged my hardwood floor and do not listen to customer requests.
