Lady in the mattress department was very rude. She was very mean when I said I didn't need help. A good furniture store doesn't hound their customers.

We received the Best service I’ve seen in a very long time. We were greeted by Genevieve who was amazing. She had the biggest smile and welcoming the second we walked in. She walked us around and showed us a few different couches and recliners. She showed us a 3 piece set and told us we could buy separately if we wanted. to. I sat in the recliner and I said this is for me, I melted in that chair, this is what I want. During the time we were looking for chairs Genevieve was so engaged with me and made this shopping experience the bests I’ve ever had. Loreli was very descriptive about the Furniture itself, although I did not buy because me and my girlfriend weren’t sure of the size and color, she went into details about the materials itself and answered every question about every couch we liked!!!

Our salesperson, Genevieve, was wonderful! Respectful, understanding, and helpful when helping us with our mattress purchase. The manager, however, was a bit more pushy with a rude tone.

If I could give them no stars, I would. I purchased a sofa and when it was delivered the delivery company they use backed into my car, causing over $5000 in damages. Neither Ashley or the contractor UST will take responsibility for the incident. Don’t buy anything from here you need delivered, they use unprofessional hackers for their deliveries! I also never received the throw pillows that were supposed to be with the couch.

My salesman was very helpful. He measured a stool I was interested in and confirmed its availability. It was just what I was looking for.

Run and avoid!!! I would give zero stars if I could… the customer experience has been absolutely horrible and I never write reviews or complain. I had a credit to use which was a whole other situation from a protection plan I did not use on my previous couch. I finally found a dresser they would allow me to use the credit on (which took years for them to give me). Then the dresser is supposed to be delivered but I had to go pick it up an hour away. I scheduled an appointment for pick up and I get there and they tell me they must have given the dresser to someone else and they don’t have it. They call me back 20 minutes later after I was pretty upset considering I drove an hour to pick it up and I am expecting a child to tell me it was on someone’s delivery truck for Rochester and they will be back in 20 minutes with it. I was glad they had the dresser at this point so I dealt with it because at the end of the day it’s not a big deal. We get it home and it’s 150lbs so obviously I can’t be lifting that while pregnant so we had to wait for my husbands friends to come assist with getting it inside. We had to finish up painting and then I opened the box to start putting it together, about two weeks after we picked it up. After I spent two hours putting it together I noticed there were chips and marks on the drawers. So I reached out to Ashley and they said they would look into what can be done. They said they can order new parts and have someone come install them which would be nice but I do not want people in my home when I just delivered a newborn. I ask if I can get a small refund for the damage, they said normally it would need to be done within two days after the product was delivered. I sent all the pictures requested. The product wasn’t even delivered and they expect people to put together the dresser in two days time when they are expecting a child and work full time? That just seems ridiculous to me. I never complain but this whole experience has been absolutely horrible and I would never recommend shopping there to anyone… literally avoid at all costs. I have gotten multiple items from there but this was the last straw. They refuse to be understanding after all the issues they caused. They then tried to tell me they couldn’t give me a small refund for the damage because I received a discount on the item. I provided my receipt and said that’s absolutely not true, I had to pay full price to use my store credit. They try to lie to get around things and it’s unacceptable. I have never been so angry with a store because how they handled everything has been so unprofessional and it’s a shame on them when I have been a customer for years. I am not asking for a free dresser, that’s absurd I want to be refunded for the damages on a brand new dresser I spent $450 on.

When I first purchased bedroom furniture and mattress, my experience dealing with associates were outstanding, and equally, so was the furniture/mattress. I took out protection plan for furniture with the notion that if I didn’t make claim I could use that dollar amount towards credit in store. I’ll get back to that… After many years but within the warranty, the mattress proved to be defective so when I went to make claim on it, this is where Ashley’s true custom service showed from corporate office to (store) General manager. I had the worst experience, having to “jump over every hurdle and through every hoop” to exchange mattress out. Several phone calls escalations and months of waiting I finally got warranty honored. When I went to use store credit (from unused protection plan) it was only slightly better. I could have shopped for furniture/mattress from an inferior store and paid less but chose a reputable store in hope that product and experience would be superior. I was sadly disappointed. I would never refer them to anyone and never, would I shop there again.

I was looking for furniture and I was not in a hurry. I went to 4 furniture stores and was trying to make a decision between 2 couches. I had already went to Ashley's and Jodi helped me. She was very kind and answered all my questions. I returned just to look again and my husband and I were not pressured at all. I asked for Jodi and she came over to the area. Even though it had been several hours since I had been there she greeted me by my name. Again she was very patient answering all my questions. I decided to buy and she made the process pleasant. So initially storage drawer was put on wrong side of bed. They did come back a week later thou and switched it to the correct side THE LEFT SIDE. Unfortunately, they made a lage deep scratch on the bed frame above the storage drawer which can be seen at all times. They did offer me a $100 gift card which I received but I hardly think a $100 off a $1300 storage beds in full size is worth it. It's was a beautiful bed til the assembly guys got sloppy and ruined it. IF this bed ended up on their scratch & dent clearance site I would have gotten it for less than $500.

I highly recommend going to this Ashley furniture store and asking for Jodi! We were shopping for a reclining sofa and had visited two other stores before coming into Ashley furniture and met Jodi. Jodi greeted us as we walked in and told us about their VIP sale, offered us some snacks and asked us if she could help us find anything. We were impressed by the great prices and financing options, but more than anything by how sincerely friendly Jodi was in helping us, without coming off as over bearing or pushy. She helped us find a fantastic deal on a clearance sofa and was incredibly patient while we made our decision. Ultimately, we found a sofa that had everything we dreamed of for an amazing price, shared great conversation with Jodi, and had some delicious snacks. Our experience today will definitely make Ashley furniture our first stop in the future!

Sales representative was quite helpful, and took me right to the pieces I was looking for. Only disappointment was they no longer carry the color the chair floor model displayed so I hadvto go with the gray on the sofa/sleeper... she seemed surprised it was no longer available. I checked other places to compare and their sale price was $500 less, and no tricky stuff about not including the matress.

Excellent customer service in all departments including the delivery team. I wanted to keep the same people but ended up with a different delivery team from Buffalo and not mentioned the delivery team had to take the item back for the second time.🙂‍↕️ With that being said, I wouldn’t buy from any other furniture company, because of the quality in what I’m looking for, the level of professionalism my family and I received and the experience. We had a wonderful experience today buying a sectional at the Ashley store in Henrietta from Nate Amelung. Nate was very helpful in the store and even helped us finalize the deal after his shift ended on Labor Day so we would get the sale price on our new furniture. My wife and I had visited 11 different furniture stores. Some several times in different locations. We had finally found what we were looking for and purchased furniture from the Henrietta Ashley store. Cameron Carr was our salesperson. We found that Cam was one of the best salespersons that we had met out of all of the stores that we had gone to. He has a very positive, calm and youthful personality and was extremely knowledgeable which was most helpful. Without a doubt I would recommend others to visit Ashley and speak with Cam.

Gave us a good price which was cheaper than ordering it online myself. Haven’t received the furniture yet will be delivered in a couple of weeks. I have ordered all my furniture over the years From Ashley and it’s definitely made to last. The sectional in my living room that’s being replaced was from Ashley and after 2 moves and 13 years later it’s time for something new.

We had visited many furniture stores in the Rochester area. Many had listened to what we said and wanted to grab an iPad or hand us a card and order online… Not Cam, He listened, showed us different selections and helped us narrow down on color. Had a great experience and will drive an hour 20 mins to meet with Cam instead of 25 to our local store!

I ordered a new couch for 2k dollars. They delivered the wrong item and took it back. After I already got rid of my old couch anticipating proper delivery. Update 6/23/25. After my great in store experience I received a message today telling me that my delivery that was scheduled for 7/2/25 had been postponed until 7/15/25. I called and told them this was unacceptable as I needed my bed to sleep on in my new apartment and I couldn’t sleep on the floor. The amazing customer service I had received immediately went away and they told me there was nothing they could do and that I would need to wait until the 15th. Thankfully I managed to order with Bobs Discount furniture extremely last minute , and I will now have a bed when I move into my new apartment. Unless you can afford to wait for your delayed furniture I would recommend looking elsewhere. Nate was extremely helpful and went over all my different options and answered my many questions. I left extremely happy with my bedroom set deal and a weight off my shoulders about worrying about moving heavy furniture. Trying to sign me up for financing plan I didn’t want. You are better off going online to purchasing what you want the staff in these places are there to make things difficult and confuse you into paying a higher price. Update financing not going wasn’t the issue the financing did go through see uploaded photo, it was the rude behavior of your staff and lack training. I ended purchasing the sofa because my wife really wanted it but would never shop there again. Don’t let your staff mislead you

Owen was such an amazing help; I could give him a list of things I wanted (e.g., a bed with storage [shelves, headboard], a sofa + single OR sofa/chaise, and so on) and a price range and he found perfect matches for me. He even took my apartment's (funky) layout and cats into account (the latter was for sofa texture)!! He was very upfront about things, too, such as when things were a littlemore, pros and cons. Although i could have gone elsewhere after going in person and seeing things to get something cheaper (e.g., amazon) i WANTED to go back because of how great he was. I would absolutely go back to AF just because of him in the future and would highly suggest to friends, as well!!!

Being a first time home buyer. The furniture buying process proved to be overwhelming. Parsa and other staff at the Ashley Furniture Store location in Henrietta really helped take a lot of the pain and suffering of going through from what works best for you and what you can afford. There are several financing options available as well as plenty of different furniture options. Parsa greeted my husband and myself right at the door and explained the layout of the entire store along with what sales were currently going on for that day. In the end we ended up with being able to furnish our entire home within budget and we can say we will be back for more when the time comes! Thank you again to Parsa and staff for helping start to finish the entire process.

Went in to buy a sofa, found one I liked was told that the delivery will contact us and that they put on the form ASAP. Upon looking online it states that this specific sofa will not be delivered for 8-14 weeks and it was 100 dollars cheaper online. I am hoping that it is sooner than 2 months. I can find it on Amazon and delivery will be in 5 days. I will be calling the store to discuss this. I don't mind waiting but 2 months is ridiculous

A friend and I went to the Hylan Drive showroom and was greeted by Owen. Owen was so accommodating and graciously spent a ton of time with us. My friend had no idea what she was looking for, so Owen had her do the mattress test. He was informative and very patient. Incidentally while we were there, I saw the perfect leather sectional sofa for my living room! I was so impressed with Owen, I told him I may be back to buy the sofa and I would definitely get in touch with him. He followed up with a text message. I texted him back and said I am ready to purchase that sofa. He asked for the living room measurements, drew the dimensions to determine how many pieces would fit in my living room and texted it to me. I paid by credit card and never left my house! If you want exceptional service with attention to detail, ask for Owen!

Leaving a review for the warranty of my recliner. My recliner recently broke, I reached out to the Ashley warranty center, provided the details that were required for the warranty, and had the warranty settled within a day.

I'm not happy with the $3000 leather loveseat I purchased. In less than a year, the LED lights on the bottom stopped turning off. I purchased the extended warranty, which has been a hassle. Basically had to give a copy of my birth certificate to prove it was me. They ordered the parts to "fix" it, but weeks have passed and I have heard nothing from them. Meanwhile, I keep making my payments on time... Good thing this wasn't an adjustable bed that got stuck in an upright position, because I'd have gotten no sleep in weeks. They offered me a $100 gift certificate to their store for my inconvenience, what the heck am I going to buy with that, a throw pillow? Do not recommend Ashley's or their extended warranty.

Furniture is comfortable but when all was set up the head rest was not functional in our recliner. Two days later and the head rest stopped working on the right side of the couch. Still waiting for it to be fixed and we purchased the couch on February 6th.

I came in to purchase a sofa a friend had recommended to me and I had intended to buy based on the online price, In the hopes that the store would honor the price online. I was assured they would honor the online price of 899.99, turns out they don’t actually honor prices for their entire site, they only honor prices for the exact zip code of the store you are currently in. While the online prices displayed automatically are all set to whichever store offers the lowest price in your state by default. Very deceptive practice in my mind, I would have happily payed the full price if they had consistent pricing between stores and sites, or made the conditions for price matching more explicit online. Guess I’ll settle for my old sofa

Ashley's no hassle warranty is nothing but a hassle. We had to threaten them with the attorney general to cover was was covered by the manufacturer warranty, let alone thier premium protection plan they push on you that has no "hassles." Needless to say they reversed their decision. It was covered. It's stapled to all their furniture, what was covered. What a hassle. Anyway, the furniture itself has only been ok, looks good, but not very durable. They take months to deliver too. We will be looking elsewhere next time.

Store is beautiful laid out, friendly staff! This was my second purchase with Ashley Furniture in Henrietta. My first salesman in December of 2023 was great and not hovering or pushy. I regret i didn't have him again. This past visit as usual I like to browse a little on my own, but as soon as my husband and I walked in the store we knew where to go and was walking fairly quickly as we were somewhat on a time constraint. We'll Nate Amelung a salesman came at us like a vulture practically ran after us.. that doesn't sit well with me. Fact is we were there for a reason and overlooked it. While looking at mattresses, we knew what we wanted, but also quickly found out ge was fairly new and had to have manager assist him. We asked a simple question about matching the manufacturers online brand deal and they raised eyebrows and did some configuring... in the end they couldn't even give us what the brand offered. We should of walked away because they couldn't give us the free bedding which was a $600 value or the bundle deal if under $1900 . No in the end they charged us $205.16 for the bedding on an unauthorized charge as they sneakily broke up the transaction which means it won't fall under the 12mo 0%interest financing. Today I sent over 3hours trying to contact somebody and no response from anyone, couldn't even speak to anyone at the store by calling because they prefer to be left alone and receive texts.,, . So because I was responded to and couldn't reach anyone, immediately called Synchrony and submitted a fraud claim. Amazing that a few hours later I received a call from Nate saying what he feels happen and it was out of his hands. He apoligized for the way ut was handled and the inconvenience, but he was also quite rude about it!.. This is my last purchase with Ashley Furniture, I will never go to them again. Be warned everyone of their trickery, scamming and watch out for the vultures... at least Raymore and Flannigans aren't vulture, high priced but not vultures. Respectful! Do better Ashley's

She made a joke to the salesman about how expensive things are and he replied with a belittling comment. I was disgusted. It was rude just because we’re younger than 30. We then bought a couch for more money next door at Valu City because of the great experience our salesman there provided.

I went into Ashley for the first time on January 2nd to treat myself to a new Queen mattress for the first time in 15-20 years. I was greeted promptly and asked what I was searching for. Misael walked me through the showroom, and into the mattress section. I don't think this poor man knew what he was in for. He was so friendly, knowledgeable and led me through the entire process, explaining the differences between each mattress type. I narrowed it down to three and finally two and I think he saw light at the end of the tunnel. I finally chose a Beauty Rest and went back up to complete the necessary paperwork and schedule the delivery. I can only hope the rest of my experience goes this smoothly. Thank you, Misael!

No matter what department, Cameron ŵas very informed about the product. He was not a pushy sales person but very pleasant and intelligence.

We already had our mind made up in purchasing the Isanti bed frame and night table. Sales person was great. Delivery people were kind and seemed to know what they were doing. As I glanced into the room as they were cleaning up I saw many parts still on the carpet. Looked to be washers and a few other things. Not sure if the parts bag hade so many extra. Maybe so. Noticing now the set up was not done correctly. We paid $150 extra for delivery and set up so this is disappointing. Bed is missing two center support posts. Just laying in ground and we put a bin under it to hold it together. The night stand dresser drawer is crooked. One side shows the support rack and other side is very flush. We are going to try to fix it in our own if Ashley doesn’t come fix these issues. Over all we like the look of the bed and side table. Just wish it was assembled correctly and the drawer wasn’t crooked.

Since this was my first time buying furniture ever I was overwhelmed with trying to decide on what exactly my significant other and I wanted to put in our soon to be home. 12/02/24: This Ashley Furniture location is a rather large store with an extensive selection and variety of stylish furniture, bedding, and home decor pieces at reasonable, or at least competitive, prices. FWIW, after shopping at several other furniture stores in the area, I actually visited this store twice in late November in an effort to purchase a new sofa and loveseat. Surprisingly, I was ignored completely during my first visit. None of the sales associates greeted me or even offered their assistance during my visit. Even more frustrating was that I couldn't get the attention of any associates after multiple attempts, so I left. The store wasn't very busy with customers during that visit but, I was shopping alone so I suspect that may be why I was ignored and wasn't considered a serious shopper. My female companion and I returned to the store as a couple the following week during Black Friday weekend because we still needed to purchase new furniture. During that second visit, we received more attention than we needed, and from multiple associates. Even though there were more customers during that second visit, I received a totally different response than during my first visit. Hmmm. We were greeted by Cameron Carr during the second visit and he offered to assist us during our search. We spent nearly three hours looking and test-driving the different seating choices, and Cameron would circle back periodically to check on our progress. We eventually narrowed down our choices and made a decision on a comfortable living room set and completed the sale with Cameron. Cameron was courteous, engaging, and made every effort to assist us, so this story ends on a positive note. The furniture hasn't been delivered yet, so I may include an update after delivery. Went to Ashley’s on Black Friday. Barbara was so helpful, she was able to find the table that was out of stock online and a different set of chairs I was looking for as well. She searched all over the showroom floor to help me find the table and chairs so I could see it in person but unfortunately it wasn’t on the floor anymore. I don’t normally write reviews but after having such a great experience here I really wanted to let people know. If you’re looking for a great, unrushed, non pressured shopping experience, this is the place to go. I was greeted when I walked in and assisted by Chris who took the time to show me my many different options and really made sure I got exactly what I was looking for. I also loved that even though I wasn’t looking for financing when I went in, he informed me of a no interest financing deal so I was able to save my cash and pay off over a certain time with no interest. I was also really impressed that Chris knew the weight of the couch which helped me decide that I would much rather have delivered than do myself with a friend. I am very happy with my purchase and will certainly be doing more business here in the future and recommending to whoever will listen.

Great experience and customer service

We ordered a reclining couch and chair in May. There has been nothing but problems with this Textline recliner. The store keeps trying to fix or replace the non working parts and sections but every time there is an issue. We ordered in May and it’s Oct 31. Shop elsewhere.

That’s twice now they have come through with solutions nobody else had.

My son purchased a sectional sofa at the end of June 2024. In order to get a 60 month no interest financing, he was told that that a mattress, 2 bed pillows , and a ser of sheets would need to also be purchased. Immediately his first bill was not correct. So he called Ashley and they asked him to come back in to sign some form, which he did. 2nd bill comes in, still incorrect and then he gets a letter from TD Bank that his payment is overdue, etc. Calls both TD Bank and the Ashley store. Once again he is asked to come back to Ashley and sign another paper that would then be sent to TD Bank again. Next bill he gets in October is still incorrect and gets another letter from TD Bank about overdue payments. He calls TD Bank and they are even confused about his bill and what he should be paying. Calling Ashley store again tomorrow and if this is not handled correctly, we will be filing a complaint with NYS. Unbelievable how much of a mess this is!

Met by Taylor at the door. She was helpful and friendly, and even took the time to find out a few details about a possible out of town purchase. Selection and staging of furniture was good. Wished for the bedroom set we liked to be available in person, but other than that, a great experience. And Taylor was an ideal salesperson, accessible but not pushy.

I bought a beautiful table that came with three chairs. I picked the merchandise up over two weeks ago. I just received a call today to inform me that one of my chairs is still there. They had taken it out of the box and assembled it because the box was damaged. I don't know whether to be happy or angry. Happy because they alerted me that I have a chair missing (I haven't opened the boxes yet. They are labeled 2 out of 2) or angry because they didn't tell me during the scheduled pickup there is an additional box. If the box was damaged, was the chair damaged also? I'm hoping not.

I am so sad and angry with the Ashley store protection plan! I purchased a marble table set from Ashley two years ago. I saw a crack on ona of the leg, I called the store hundreds of times, they redialed us to the customer service and still waiting to hear back from them to solve this problem! I spent two months and now the leg completely broken and my dining room is a mess! I left tons of messages, nobody cared about us! And I am still paying monthly payments! I have small kids at home and this is a huge security issue! What a shame! No solution!
