Ordered a bedroom set and mattress in September 2021. Was told it could take up to 16 weeks for delivery due to covid back up. Because i would have to move old furniture out when the new furniture arrived, i stated that i did not want any items piece by piece, i wanted them all delivered together in full. A few weeks later i get a text that my mattress is ready to be delivered, and i had to call again to state i did not want it until the whole set was ready. 3 months later i get a text that my order is ready to be delivered, so i cleared out all my old furniture to make room for the new. Turns out, all they were brought was the mattress, with no information as to when the rest would be coming. I had to then move back in all my old furniture. Ashley customer service offered no compensation or credits for their mistake, and just blamed it on the warehouse but couldn’t give me anyone there to talk to. 3 more months later i get another text saying that half of the order is ready, and if i didn’t accept it now, they would reallocate it to another customer and i would have to wait even longer for it when the rest of it was ready. So i again took a partial delivery. Finally after 8 whole months, twice the amount of time they told me originally, the entire order has been delivered. I wanted to give up half way thru out of sheer frustration with this process, and just have everything returned and refunded, but they said they don’t take any returns or refunds, Even for the items i hadn’t even received yet. This process has been an absolute nightmare, customer service was atrocious and unhelpful, and i would never recommend doing business with this store.
I ordered a bed from @AshleyHomeStore in December 2021, it came in March damaged. They sent a new one in April and the hardware was missing! 🤦🏾♀️ Said the hardware would be delivered “mid May”. I called today and they’re talking about “mid June”! I am so fed up! It doesn’t seem like anyone at @AshleyHomeStore cares that we’re going on 6 months without a bed! This is ridiculous! My husband and I spent over $8,000 at Ashley Furniture and now that they have our money, they don’t care what happens after.
Had a horrendous experience with the salesperson Matt today at the Rochester store on Hylan Drive . His personality was cocky and beyond rude, and he talked down to my friend who was trying to look at a table . Made us both highly uncomfortable on multiple occasions and in many ways.
Anthony helped my Husband and I pick out a bedroom set and mattress. He was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Can’t say enough about how wonderful he was to work with! We will definitely be back after that experience.
If you buy furniture at this store be very careful if you purchase the extended Platinum Warranty coverage. I purchased a lift recliner chair at this store because I needed the lift assistance to get up after my leg surgery. Had a problem with the chair so the lift no longer functioned. Three companies are involved with this "Platinum Extended Warranty ". Ashley Furniture, The warranty company, and the tech company. Each one points the finger at the other and claims " not my responsibility ". Bottom line, in 3 months it will be one year and my chair still does not lift. So my recommendation is to never buy furniture with an extended warranty from Ashley Furniture.
Went into the store and told they were running a great 30% off deal. I was so excited. We home to measure, pulled up online and it was HUNDREDS of dollars cheaper. So, ordered it online. I was told delivery was 8-12weeks, which stinks but ok. I knew when I purchased. I get a text that delivery is 24 MONTHS out. ALMOST HALF A YEAR!!!!!!!!! That's a far cry from the 12 they gave me. So many lies and deceit. Do business with an honest company. It's too bad....I only just started buying all the furniture for my new house. Why can't people just be honest!
The staff is very attentive but not overbearing like some places
We needed a new dining room table and some stools for our kitchen, we went to Ashley and we received all our things. We had a few snags, but with Covid we expected that. The dining room table we bought, wasn't what we expected , it wasn't what we thought, it was super wiggly, and we had the service team come out, and they said that it was a "lemon" or put together wrong. so need less to say , we were in a situation that they were only going to exchange the table, but to find a table that would match the chairs would be impossible. Well, we went in and saw Amirah and Tracy, and they were amazing. they were very understanding of our situation and they made it right. I highly recommend this store, and especially these two. They made it right and we will be back and refer people to them!!!!
