To the gentleman who works there who happened to also come from Brooklyn I wanted to say thank you! I walked in pretty defeated on buying a Tv stand very last minute but we have a toddler and thinking about the safety of what we had vs what is needed .. we walked in after going to many stores. Prices wasn’t an issue but we weren’t looking for anything that was an entertainment center at all.. but needed something to hold our tv in place. We found a nice piece in clearance but it had an ugly chip in the corner he worked with us and walked away with the Tv stand. I went from being defeated and just annoyed to very blessed coming out with what we needed. I hope you continue to bless people and I hope you continue to be blessed as well. You were very kind and helpful. Thank you again!

Overall the experience was ok. I was disappointed with the lack of color options for for living room furniture and the length of time waiting for delivery (2 1/2 weeks) I feel is too long. I’m still waiting for delivery, yet have received 2 requests for this review. It was also disappointing that the only storage ottoman choices were huge at 4 feet by 4 feet.

David was very kind and helpful in getting us a new bed and adjustable frame. After a horrible experience with sleep number it was nice to have a much different experience here.

We were shopping for 2 recliners, and with the help of Josiah in the Horseheads store we found just the right pair. Can't say enough about how kind and helpful Josiah was, we were so fortunate that he was our salesperson!

Josiah at Ashley is amazing!! He is our official go to person from now on whenever we go to Ashley's furniture. He went above and beyond today for us to help us get a recliner. My fiancé is not your normal size to where he would be able to fit in a normal size recliner. He is a big man all the way around and needs a big chair. Josiah took the time to not only talk to us to see what material that my fiancé liked but also went through the comfort of the chairs, he measured the chair that my fiancé was sitting in to make sure that we were getting the length and height that is comfortable for my fiancé. He made sure that everything was just right. He would have even taken it down to the color too if was relevant to us.

The best service I have received at any store! Joe was amazing! Extremely knowledgeable and very pleasant to work with. He answered every question and was not pushy. I would highly recommend him to anyone making a mattress purchase!!

Very quick and smooth transaction(s). After buying our first piece of furniture and picture, and after looking around at a few other places after we left, we decided to return and buy the recliner we had first looked at at Ashley. Josiah was again super helpful and made another quick transaction. Will definitely look for him in the future when purchasing the next set of furniture.

We went searching for bedroom furniture for my daughter. David was very helpful in finding what we needed and gave us a great deal.

Josiah is a great sales person. No pressure, really knows the product or will ask. He did invite me to today's event, however I guess you don't get discounts on mattresses like you do on furniture. That was a little disappointing. Overall, I think I'll be happy with my choices. I will work with Josiah again!

Great experience buying our furniture until the next day on pickup. We were told we could come back at 10am to pickup, however, warehouse want open. They did us right and was able to get our furniture for us that day.

Do NOT buy the protection plan. The company that processes the claims will give you the run around and talk in circle with excuses as to why your claim is denied. Ashley furniture won't provide any assistance with the claim or refund the cost of the plan. It's a waste of money.

Mickenzie was amazingly helpful, showed us the performance fabric and trampoline-like foundation (instead of coils/springs) for the couch we got, and made checkout super simple! Highly recommend!

The delivery guys really took time and care to protect our recently refinished hard wood floors. They brought in the pieces and let us put the protective feet pads on. They laid out blankets to protect the floors and they wore booties on there shoes. Very kind and patient. Our sales guy was great also with answering all our questions. We had a wonderful experience while visiting Ashley Furniture store in Horseheads NY. First we were greeted at the door and assigned a sales rep by the name of Josiah, this guy was top notch! Right from the get go he took the time to get to know us personally and asked questions about our wants and needs. He wasn’t being pushy and just trying to make a sale. He was very knowledgeable, well versed at his craft and provided great insight towards making our decision on which products suited us best. We were able to take our time and spent a lot of time at the store going over the various options before making the purchase. Josiah was very personable and genuinely cared about his customers, even offering us a chance to go and get lunch and think about our options first. We went and enjoyed a nice lunch nearby and upon returning to the store to our surprise that money spent on lunch was kindly put towards our furniture purchase. Even after we had the items in our home Josiah was following up making sure everything was alright and we were satisfied with the furniture. Overall I would highly recommend checking out Ashley as our customer experience was much much better than some of the other local furniture stores. When I returned 2 days later to look around for a recliner and to commit to the sofa and chair I saw previously, he was extremely helpful. Very personable, understanding and not pushy to make a sale. I was looking for a recliner with a specific width maximum and the staff made sure everything I tried would have fit first before going any further. Checkout was quick, delivery was great too. The delivery staff helped me move other furniture first before bringing in the new chair. Give this store a try if you're looking for new furniture.

He showed me many chairs explained what they were made from showed me how they packaged the cushions he was so thorough. I didn't end up purchasing the last chair he showed me which was his favorite.. if I am in need of anything again Furniture wise I will definitely go to Ashley's and I will ask for Mackenzie. I had an excellent experience with Joseph Skeete during our visit at Ashley. He was professional, patient and took time so we can have a good deal with our purchase.

I am not sure if this is a win-win or a win-lose… but I was not going in looking to actually purchase furniture right then… until we met Kaitlyn. She made it clear without saying it that we should probably burn our furniture and start a new beginning for our living room. We brought our infant with us so she immediately went into mom-mode and knew exactly what to show us… she opened up cushions showing us how important each layer was to show me this couch may be the only couch to withstand a life with children. She listened to the fact that we had a 6 year old and began to put the trampoline springs in the frame of the couch to good use. To make sure we were sure of our choice, she showed us another couch that seemed indestructible as well along with carefully explaining the importance of a fabric choice. At the end of the day I think we will be truly happy with our impulsive but needed purchase! We truly enjoyed spending an hour with Miss Kaitlyn. 💕

We looked at local furniture stores, and eventually decided to go with Ashley because we really loved Joe. He was so incredibly helpful and spent hours with us, helping us find the best pieces for our living room. Unfortunately the afternoon before the scheduled delivery date we received a text message saying they're sorry for any inconvenience and the delivery would need to be moved a MONTH out from the previously scheduled date. Yes, not a phone call. A text message the day before the delivery. We had already gotten the living room space cleared out for the delivery. We immediately started calling other stores and luckily a local competitor can get us the same exact pieces and an additional piece for a much lower price and can have it delivered to us in under 2 weeks. For this reason I would not shop here again. We're normally pretty patient and understanding people, but I felt this was something that's review worthy.. and I feel bad for Joe because his time was wasted due to problems with the company as a whole. Sorry Joe!

We were welcomed at the door at felt right at home! Brandon and the entire Ashley team are so helpful! They walked us through the store and to exactly what we needed. The deals are excellent and the service is above and beyond! The team even helped us load the car and made sure we knew how to set everything up properly when we got home. We will definitely continue making the trip to this particular Ashley for our home furnishing needs!

My father and I purchased the Acklen Place chaise, armless chair, chaise in pewter for our living room on Tuesday. We went back today to add 2 consoles with storage also in pewter with hopes of getting everything delivered on the same day. Josiah was very helpful in setting this up for us and he listened and answered all of our questions and even was patient when we were deciding and trying to figure out what would work best for us and pricing. I was waited on as soon as I walked in. Everyone was very friendly and knowledgeable. My salesperson ( Brandon) was very patient with as I roamed around trying to figure out what wanted. All in all I was very happy with my experience and would go back again if the opportunity comes up

My husband and I had a wonderful experience shopping for a bed frame and mattress. Josiah Scott worked very patiently with us over a two-day period to ensure our new bed met all of our needs. I needed a frame that was 9 inches off the ground to fit shoe totes and in a cherry color, while my husband wanted good value and a medium-to-firm mattress. Josiah never pushed us to buy the most expensive products but instead gave us plenty of style and price options—and even found our frame on clearance! We ended up choosing a bed platform instead of a traditional frame, which I had never even considered until Josiah showed me how well it met my storage needs. We took our time looking at mattresses because my husband and I have different sleep preferences, and the following day we decided to try the 90-day trial on a Purple mattress. I love that we can try it before committing. Our experience with Josiah at Ashley Furniture was so positive that we plan to return for a couch this winter!

Over the years I have bought several pieces of furniture from the store in Horseheads , New York. I love the huge selection they offer and every piece has been made out of good quality wood and fabric. Every employee I have dealt with over the years has been fantastic, they give you your space but are close by with any answers to your questions. I have never felt pushed into a sale or rushed to make a decision which goes a long way in my book. The only reason why I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I find the lighting in there is too dark and often times colors will change when you hit the daylight. They do carry tablets so they can bring up an item to show you a more accurate description should you struggle in this area as I do. Overall this store in particular has never let me down.

Been waiting on Warranty and parts for a very expensive electric recliner since October. Called several times and get the same story. Parts are on back order should be shipped by the end of the month. I am a cancer survivor that is disabled and need this chair to function. Customer service lacks a little to be desired. Strongly recommend you go elsewhere.

I had excellent customer service from MacKenzie when I walked in to Ashley to look at recliners. I just went in "to look" and saw several chairs I liked and 2 were real candidates for purchase. We are disappointed after buying from here, they showed something else and gave something different, after reaching out they said they can’t do anything to fix the issue which was done by their own people. First time bought something from them and I won’t recommend them again to anyone.

If you are going to Ashley for furniture, ask for Nigel! You won’t be disappointed!!

Where do I even begin.. This is an extremely long saga that just keeps growing due to the extreme unprofessionalism and disrespect of this establishment and their employees. It all began with them denying my sale and refusing to let me use a card because they decided to make up a fictitious rule that you cannot use your store card for purchases under $300 which is false since I’ve made plenty in the past. They then have the nerve to act as if I am the one in the wrong and attempt to gaslight me that I am somehow being unreasonable when I said to just forget it and cancel the sale. I then complain to management and review my experience on here and continue to be told that their staff is correct and that I don’t know what I’m talking about. I’m not sure which is more unprofessional, lying to a customer whose sale you just denied for no reason or having employees gather around and stare you down while clearly talking about you. Either way, this store is guilty of doing both and I took appropriate action much to their dismay. Once the dust finally settled, I did my best to forget this place ever existed and that I’ve ever done business with them, and an employee from the store then came up to me when I was at the gym minding my own business and told me “if you have a problem with me say it to my face.” What on earth? I’m pretty sure I already expressed my disdain with his abysmal attitude and service at the store, but to bring this all a step further and attempt to begin an altercation outside of the business is next level. An employee from the gym had to separate us and nearly call the police all because he had a personal vendetta against me and was angry that I made a complaint in the past. Don’t be angry when this is all your fault, and someone speaks out against you. I should be allowed to enter public places to my leisure without dealing with the confrontation of unhinged employees at a failing store.

I worked with two men who were exceptional in greeting, finding, and informing me about what I was looking for. Very knowledgeable, professional and clear on what I purchased.

I really love the selection's this store has for different things.But what is really great is the staff Mr. Josiah Scott goes above and beyond for his customers and he always responds promptly when i have needed to contact him,EVEN AFTER NORMAL STORE HOURS,I HAD TO TEXT HIM TO ASK HIM SOMETHING ! I always fear going into these types of stores and having someone hound me while trying to look. After several minutes of browsing, I was greeted, asked what I was looking for and if she could help. After looking at a few floor pieces, I was told about the clearance section. I found what I was looking for there and she even discounted it further! I was then handed over to a gentleman who finished my sale. He was very thorough explaining the 12 month no interest program and answered any questions I had. I was very pleased with the whole experience and am not anxiously awaiting its arrival!

My new married name is Samantha Space. We made a trip to Ashely this past Saturday. ,We felt welcomed as soon as we walked in the doors. The GM was very welcoming and let us know where to began our search with the furniture we were looking for. As we made our way back we were greeted by a young man by the name of David who let us know what the store had to offer as for types of furniture and labor day sales that were happening and where to look ( which was in the same direction that the GM told us about) . As my husband and I looked with our daughter, karra, David once again greeted us as. Asked up if we had any questions and to let him know when we were ready. We appreciated his loyalty to us a lot! Once we found our selection, David was there to answer more of our questions, go over prices and showed us the kiosk to move forward with a possible purchase . David was with us the whole time and showed us that he was knowledgeable, courteous and on top of making sure we felt important. We bought a reclining couch set this day and we are happy with the purchase and look forward to its delivery. If it is wasn’t for the professionalism we felt that day, we would have left. They were both available when we needed them and did not hover while we looked around. While we found furniture we loved at Ashley, we chose to check out another national retail furniture store to see what they had for options before we made our final decision. Upon arriving to the other furniture store, we were immediately pounced on and constantly interrupted while we shopped. The experience was quite unpleasant and annoying. We immediately returned to Ashley and purchased our beautiful living room set. David was a great help when I was looking for a new couch. I had a long list of wants and sat on almost every couch there. He had patience despite my indecisiveness and continued looking to find exactly what I wanted. He was also able to call the store shipping my couch in and get it sent out the next day instead of having to wait a week. He was a great help and I am so excited about my fluffy, cozy sofa with chaise that feels like a bed in the living room.
