We were in search of the perfect mattress for our individual needs, one side plush and soft and the other side medium. Our sales professional David was very knowledgeable With the mattresses we were looking for and got us fitted with the perfect ones that fit our needs. We are very please with David and appreciate his patience and understanding while making a very important purchase. Prices are very fair and great quality. Wonderful Staff at Ashley, very friendly and personable. We will be back in the future and Highly Recommend this Store and its Staff. A+++

Im reposting due to their lack of accountability and made up “rules”… This store is a complete joke.. they refused to sell to me because I wanted to use my store credit card and they said it has to be a minimum of $300… so what’s the point of having a card if you can’t use it? They’re just trying to blame others for their abysmal service and save themselves… not sure how any of that is true when I’ve purchased several decor & clearance items under $300 on my card in the past. They don’t have a single sign in the store saying this “rule” and it’s rather absurd that I’m being made out to be the one in the wrong here. The staff at this location are also abysmal, all staring at me acting as if I’m making a scene when I tell the salesman to cancel the sale. “Do you have another payment method you want to use?” No I have YOUR credit card with 10k available to spend .. I’ll go to big lots and get a better deal and better service there. It’s unfortunate to see this place go so downhill. Love having your employees clearly whispering and talking about me!!! Poor salesperson … probably was their only hope to get 1 commission sale all day in this completely empty store. May as well close down. Yeah I give up on getting any coherent response from these people.. I specifically said I don’t care about the 72 month financing .. I only wanted to charge it to the card. That’s it. No promos or specials. Still got told no. I’m sure the staff is off in the back laughing about screwing over another customer. Which is fine. I reached out to nearby locations and asked if what I was told was correct and they all said no. Yet it’s not your intention to create unnecessary barriers? Be for real. I’ll pray for the staff who clearly get paid an hourly wage since making commission isn’t on their list of priorities. I used to work in furniture sales- if I ever turned away a customer for an invalid reason because I didn’t want to do my job I’d be lucky if I still had my job the next day.

Tanya helped us with our furniture choice. She was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable of their furniture. Ashley has a very large selection of furniture and it is priced very reasonable. I would definitely recommend Ashley to everyone looking for all household furniture.

After searching for the perfect furniture for my apartment for weeks, I was delighted to not only find some of the most beautiful pieces of furniture of all Upstate NY but to have also had the pleasure of working with Josiah Scott. I came to Ashley Furniture prepared to work with a sales rep and Josiah was everything but that. He was polite, genuine, and very respectful. He had an answer to every question and took his time to make sure he understood exactly what I was, or wasn’t, looking for. I was able to almost completely furnish my apartment within a few hours thanks to his help. I would highly recommend seeking him out as a representative to work with or at the very least for a chance to talk with him!

They were both available when we needed them and did not hover while we looked around. While we found furniture we loved at Ashley, we chose to check out another national retail furniture store to see what they had for options before we made our final decision. Upon arriving to the other furniture store, we were immediately pounced on and constantly interrupted while we shopped. The experience was quite unpleasant and annoying. We immediately returned to Ashley and purchased our beautiful living room set. It was just the table we were looking for at a great price. It hasn’t been delivered yet but I am looking forward to the delivery. David was a great help when I was looking for a new couch. I had a long list of wants and sat on almost every couch there. He had patience despite my indecisiveness and continued looking to find exactly what I wanted. He was also able to call the store shipping my couch in and get it sent out the next day instead of having to wait a week. He was a great help and I am so excited about my fluffy, cozy sofa with chaise that feels like a bed in the living room.

We can’t say enough about how genial and helpful the staff at Ashley in Horseheads was to us during our recent purchase of a new mattress. Tonya was a nice lady, very helpful. She was willing to move furniture around to make my vision come to light. I purchased a couch, coffee table, one end table, and a rug. TIP: I would look at their prices online before purchasing in THIS store. Most things are A LOT cheaper if they’re ordered online, along with the delivery fee, ($300 in store and $129 online (some locations $199)) IT IS NOT FREE like I was originally told!! AND the protection plan ($500 in store and $349 online.) I wish I knew all of this information before purchasing in store, but they did price match for me after I came back in to “complain”.

We’ve purchased furniture from this Ashley store a few times and have always had a good experience. This time was no exception. The selection was great and we found a living room set we love. We worked with salesman Lance Christman, who was polite, professional, and had a good sense of humor. He was very knowledgeable about the furniture available, and was able to help us with our questions. He also helped with updating our store card account. All in all, it was a very nice experience and I’m sure we’ll shop here again.

Good deals on lamps!

Customer service was great! There is also a playhouse for the kids to play in while you shop. This makes is a lot easier to shop with kids and they aren't jumping all over the furniture.

I went to Ashley in Horseheads NY seeking a new recliner. The salesperson was a very affable young man. I told him what I wanted and what my budget was, and he proceeded to show me chairs that were over my budget, but said he could "give me a good price" on them. He then left me to wander on my own and try out some chairs. I found one I really liked (which he hadn't shown me), but with no price on it. When he came back I asked the price, and lo and behold it was within my budget. Fancy that! I liked the price and told him I wanted to buy it. They had some in stock, and I wanted to take it with me. Then came the bait and switch. "I'll have to talk to my manager..." Right. When he came back he said the price he quoted was the online price, and to honor that they have to deliver it and charge me $100 delivery fee. I called bullsh*t and said no, I want to take it with me for the price he quoted me. He had to talk to his manager again. Right. Finally came back and said I could take one with me for just $50 more that the price he quoted me originally. I know these guys are doing a job and just trying to make a buck. But geez, can you not be so sleazy about it?! Ultimately it's a good product, very well made and comfortable. And I was ok with the final price, just felt a little manipulated. But whatever. I have a nice new recliner that I like. Caveat emptor.

We came into the location to browse and get an idea for what would work best in our space. Josiah was helpful when needed but gave us our space to where we didn’t feel any pressure to make a decision that day. With his help we were able to find the perfect set for us. He made sure we got the best possible deal and with a baby on the way and a dog friendly home made sure we knew all the benefits of the protection plan. Delivery was scheduled that day and we now have peace of mind knowing everything will be delivered and set up before our baby makes his arrival. This location had several displays as well as a kiosk to help build custom options for your space. We had a great experience and will be back!

My husband and I were in search of a couch and after looking elsewhere, decided to make a quick stop at Ashley in Horseheads before it closed. We arrived about 10 minutes before closing (yes, we were those people). John was amazing. Walked in around 12:15, John greets me at the door and asked me if I had something in mind that I was interested in. I told him what I was looking for, he didn’t try steer me in a more expensive direction but took me to exactly what I had in mind. He did not hover over me. He said he would give me time to look around and he would come back and check on me. That’s exactly what John did. We talked some numbers and I was out less than an hour and bonus points for John because no one can ever remember how to spell my last name but John did. Extra bonus points for getting my furniture delivered within two weeks of purchase!!

He listened to what I was looking for and what my home life (kids and pets) was like and showed me multiple sets that could work for what I was telling him and ultimately led me to a set that I had my eye on online. Before I settled on what I knew I wanted, Joe made sure to show me the clearance section as well just in case. I appreciated that because it showed he wasn't interested in just trying to get the largest sale, he was genuinely interested in me getting exactly what I wanted. He scooped up a rug I was checking out in the clearance section and brought it right out to the show floor for me to put in front of the couch set I was planning on purchasing to make sure that was what I wanted. Joe went above and beyond today helping me with my purchase. We will surely be back to see Joe anytime we want some more home furnishings! Thank you Joe!

I jave purchased before from Ashley and have had great experience with their product. Held up to 2 kids and cats for years. Customer service is what blew me away. Josiah was extremely attentive and helpful even beyond the sale. He went above and beyond...I wasn't even purchasing a big ticket item and I was still treated and handled as a VIP. Very rare. I didn't even have to go back into the store once I decided what I wanted he helped me take care of everything over the phone. SUPERB!!! Will be purchasing through them again very soon.

My husband and I stopped at Ashley for the purpose of browsing. We were greeted very nicely at the door and asked if we needed help. After indicating that we were just browsing, we were never followed around or hounded and were able to look around leisurely as we wished. Once I had a question, I went up to a gentleman named Lance who was very informational and kind. After my questions were answered he gave my husband and I time and space to discuss options. What a day for bed purchasing!!! Over Labor Day Weekend, my bf and I went to Ashley Furniture in search for a bed for him. We were greeted by Josiah, which was an absolute pleasure. Josiah accompanied us to the bed section and after my bf explained what he was looking for, Josiah was right on the ball. He was looking for a Purple Bed. Josiah was very knowledgeable about the product & made all necessary recommendations for it without making you feel like you had to purchase all items, ie bedsheets, pillows, mattress protector/cover… Etc.. He explained the pros in the cons and allowed us to make your own decision. Overall, Josiah was a pleasure to work with, And not only did he make one bed sale that day, he made a second sale a few weeks later by phone bc of how happy I was with the bed and the customer service he provided. Within one month, Josiah sold two purple beds with everything included and he now has two new very happy & satisfied customers! Thank you.

Incomplete delivery. Told me my sectional would be delivered on June 30 2023 and I got some of it. The sofa is back ordered and I was told it would be useable till it got here. Not usable only can use part. Customer service is horrible and trying to make us feel like we are getting a deal cause they are not charging us to deliver the sofa when it gets in. Thank you for not charging me for your mistake Ashley. Horrible experience will never recommend to anyone.

We got a new couch delivered in January 2022. So it is only a little over a year old. Wood is already sticking out of the couch. The back of the couch of the main cushion is so badly broken it hurts our backs to sit there. Very dissatisfied and disappointed with such a cheap product that still has payments left.

My fiancé and I have been looking for a reclining sofa with a matching oversized recliner for a month now. We decided to go to Ashley homestore and look around and our salesperson was Tanya bell she was very polite and knew exactly what we wanted. We usually get a brown couch and recliner but we went with the gray color. My fiancé loved the wall color in the store and Tanya even gave him the Sherman Williams paint colors to match it for our walls in our livingroom. I would not recommend purchasing furniture from Ashley HomeStore and I see if I had checked the reviews first, I would have saved myself a lot of trouble! Shopping for the furniture was okay. Some confusing pricing in terms of having to buy expensive protection plans to get other things discounted and then having to make a donation to a charity to get another discount. Otherwise, that part was okay. Delivery of our furniture has taken a couple months and we have had quite a few problems. The actual delivery people have been nice though. It is hard to talk to anyone on the phone when you have an issue and you instead text with someone, which could be great, but isn't quite great in reality. The person I was talking to was not at all understanding my problem at one point and I requested to talk to a supervisor to which I was told that she was the supervisor. Of course all that does is say there is nothing you can do to fix your problem and when you spend over $10k at a company, that isn't what you want to hear. We purchased a sofa sectional, oversized ottoman, kitchen table with 2 chairs and 2 benches, 3 bed frames, 2 nightstands, a TV stand, a little cabinet, 2 pieces of art, 2 vases, and a wall clock. We had no problems with the sofa sectional. We received the wrong ottoman and managed to keep it looking nice with the tags still attached until it got replaced with the correct one today (several weeks later). We have no problem with our kitchen table, the chairs, or the benches. That is all really nice and functional. The drawers on one of the bed frames were installed not quite right so they feel like they will break. Customer service ordered new pieces and they just came so we are supposed to call for an appointment to have those drawers fixed. The nightstands are fine. The doors to the TV stand and the little cabinet were not installed quite right so they do not close. The 2 pieces of art are fine as are the 2 vases. The wall clock is huge and looks amazing but it does not work. This brings me to another aspect of Ashley's service that I *really* do not like. When I was chatting with customer service about how the wall clock does not work, I was told there was nothing I could do about it because it was from the clearance section as was sold as is. I was told the wall clock and the other art pieces I purchased were all from the clearance section. I told the customer service representative that they were not from the clearance section and that I picked them out from the main show room along with all of the furniture I purchased. I said I did buy 2 mattress protectors from the clearance section, but my sales representative got them from the clearance section for me. I asked how a customer would know they are buying from a clearance section if they were not in a separate area and didn't have special tags but were instead with everything else with a normal price tag. I was told the prices would have asterisks by them. I then found the price tag in question and my receipt and showed the customer service representative that there were in fact no asterisks by the price in either place. The representative then proceeded to tell me that she apologized if there was any miscommunication with our sales agent and she could not speak on a conversation that she was not a part of. At this point, I decided to give up and never shop at Ashley again!

Johnny was amazing got our sofa and coffee table at a great deal and excellent delivery service. I will come back to this store for my next furniture, for sure! Perfect experience!

Stores in the area like Olums have huge markups compared to here. Plus i got 25% off right off the top. Christian also saved me an extra 100$ on our warranty for the couch and ottoman. Overall 5 out of 5 and we will return in the future. Of couse we dont want to wait 6-12 weeks for our stuff, but thats not his fault! Thanks Christian!

I had a great shopping experience with CHRIS SCAIA last month. He was very patient, courteous, and professional as I literally dragged him around the store! Great employee and great products!

Decided to get a nice bed and shopped around. More or less, found out all stores carry about the same product for about the same price (maybe different flavor of discounts). So, why not go to "trusted" Ashley's. 1. Delievery team blotched up, didn't install the frame/legs right, got a hole in the mattress, left the heavy bed at a weird angle in the room (gone without me even saying bye). 2. The store and corporate never took ownership of this. No matter who I talked to, it never mattered. Some reason they don't talk to each other or truly care about you. 3. Replaced the mattress with the wrong one, gave me all sorts of excuses. 4. Told me they would go the extra mile to make this right, corporate didn't do me anything, the store manager and salesman never did anything. No longer "trusted" in Ashley's. Go else where. You pay for good quality, I expect good service and care.

Our first question in the store was "Will we be able to get this furniture before our move in date?" and we were assured absolutely. Well here we are 2 weeks after moving in and still no bedroom suit, we haven't received over half our order. They also charged us $700 for delivery which has been rescheduled twice and once it was rescheduled without our knowledge. I am so fed up with this whole process with Ashley Furniture.

Krista was very helpful pointing my wife and I in the right direction to help us find what we were looking for. She checked in with us periodically without being overbearing. And she even picked up an ottoman and carried it across the store so we could see how it looked with a sofa that we liked! Krista and the manager worked with us on pricing on the sofa, chairs, and ottoman that we ended up purchasing. We were very happy with the whole experience!

Ordered my couch in-person at the Ashley store. I haven't gotten it yet as I just ordered today, but as a testament to their costumer service, I would like to state that Josiah was our sales person and he was extremely helpful, personable and knowledgeable. I went to lunch after browsing the store, before making any final decisions. Before leaving, Josiah offered to cover the cost of my lunch if I came back to buy a couch, and he did just that when I returned a few hours later. Once I receive the couch, I will update my review!

I have to honestly say that buying at Ashley's was a terrible mistake. Not considering that I have to wait six months for my purchase to arrive, now that is in my house the quality is nothing what I was expected or paid for. My son's bunk bed is damage and the mattress is so uncomfortable, nothing similar than the one I tried in the showroom. The customer service said they cannot do anything to replace the mattress and they might offer a discount for the damage bunk bed. This is just plain ridiculous, especially because due to the waiting period, I previously tried to cancel the purchase and they said they needed to charged me the "re-stocking" fee because they had part of my order. I will never advice to purchase anything in this store. PS. I am putting a one start because I must, not because they deserve it.

We went to Ashley looking for the ideal dining room table set. With Chris' help (the manager) we were able to find the perfect set. He was beyond helpful in demonstrating adding/removing leaves in the tables we were interested in. He was also patient with our buying experience as we looked over all of our options. Went mattress shopping, Jeff was awesome. We explained we wanted to look then we'd find him to answer questions. He respected our request, once we were interested in a particular bed another employee came over and involved himself in Jeff's conversation ,started pressuring us about buying today and delivering even after we explained we were not in any hurry for the bed. Buying a new mattress can be overwhelming. I was quickly put at ease, when dealing with Christian at Ashley Homestore. I have been putting off buying a mattress, for far too long.He took the time to not only explain the differences between each mattress, but to make sure I would get the best price available. I can't thank him enough for his guidance. I will definitely be shopping there again.

I have, over the years had a good experience with Ashley. However, I recently purchased a new sectional sofa. At the time of purchase we were told that it would take 10-14 week for delivery. It took exactly 14 weeks. Ok. We knew that and decided it would be worth the wait. When the sofa arrived we discovered that it was ordered incorrectly. We ended up with two left end pieces and no right end piece. The delivery guys were very nice but couldn’t really tell us much. I called customer service and explained the situation to the representative. I was told that she would work on it and call me back the next day. When I did not hear from anyone I again called the customer service line only to find out that nothing had been done. Again the representative was very polite and we went through the whole thing again. By the end of the conversation I was told that it would be another 8-10 weeks to get the replacement. When I voiced my displeasure he told me they could offer me either $100 back or $150 store credit. I don’t usually make a big deal about this stuff, mistakes happen. In this case though I have to say I am not impressed by the service that I have received. It seems that I will not wait for around 6 months for a complete sofa that is paid for and Ashley’s solution is to give back $100? What a joke. Sadly, this may be the last purchase I make from Ashley.

I purchased a mattress and was quoted a 2-4 week waiting period. The salesman assured me it would be closer to the 2 week mark given I was looking for a bed immediately. I waited 34 days before I had to call to see if they had my order, they confirmed they had it but weren't making any calls yet. I expected a mattress like the one i seen on the sales floor but picked up a mattress in a box. I was highly unsatisfied with the service and purchase I experienced.

We had bought furniture back in February we were told it would be in end of may beginning of June our furniture came a month early.. Johnny P. Was our salesman, he was very thorough and took his time while we were deciding on the furniture we chose. He was positive and a very nice gentleman.. Very pricey and ...

I bought a bedroom set from Ashley online store but there is no place to write a review for their online store so I am doing it here. Never again. The vanity came first by UPS and after putting it together I saw the plastic thing that keeps the drawer on the track was broken. It was broken at the factory when they put it together. The broken plastic piece was not in the box so it was not damaged by UPS and they packaged it for selling knowing that it was broken. Months of emailing them about it only to get the same response back "Send the item number from the kit instructions and they would happily send me another one" and then no more responses. They brushed me off. Kept telling them there was no item number from the instructions because it was not part of the kit. Turned in a dispute but I lost and not sure how but I am now out of the money for the vanity and stuck with a broken one. I canceled the other two dressers that were yet to come. Never buy furniture online is what I learned with this. Oh, and they were supposed to have someone at my house to put this all together but no one was here and I had to do it myself. Seems no one takes pride in their work anymore and could care less if a customer comes back or not.

Filed a online warranty claim on 2/24/21, requested a call back for 2/26/21. Contacted customer service on 3/1/21, was told they would contact me within 4-6 days of original request. It has now been over 2 weeks with no return call.

Amazing customer service from John P..he was very kind, helpful and understanding.. he turned around my unfortunate situation and made my day..I had to select a new mattress the one I have is defected. John helped me get the same mattress that actually went up in price, as an even exchange..I appreciate great customer service. John P.. you are AMAZING!! Thank you!!!

Liars and thieves!!! Purchased a sectional sofa for around $3000. Was asked if I wanted the "Platinum Warranty Protection". I said I did not. The salesman asked if I had pets, and I said I did. He said "you definitely want the platinum protection warranty as it covers any and all pet damage". So I ended up paying about $300 for the warranty. Low and behold, my dog put a small hole in the fabric when he jumped on the sofa. I submitted a warranty claim, and was informed that the warranty would not cover this. When I called, to explain that I was told that the warranty covered "any and all pet damage", I was told that the salesman shouldn't have said that and there's nothing that could be done. Will not issue a refund, even though the warranty was sold under a blatant lie. I will never again shop at Ashley Furniture. Crooked business, crooked employees, downright liars and thieves.

Our furniture has had quality issues. Seams ripped out, sagging frames on sofa and loveseat. Have manufacturer and their additional warranty, but told nothing is covered. We’re told the warranties are “conditional”. Yet nobody can explain what that means. Will never buy there again.

We went in to purchase a sofa love seat set. This was August...we use their card and were told because of COVID it maybe 12 weeks vs the regular 9 weeks. They had a great collection and options. It came to just under 4K. We contacted them in mid-November. They said they had no idea when it would be here. We thought this was an American made product. We asked to speak with the Manager set and appointment and he was not able to speak with us. They set us up with another manager. We asked for a definite date but they refused to do so. They offered us only a free discount on shipping- which we thought was already included. Nothing else was offered. They called at end of January said they will deliver the couch and recliner but no love seat. It would take another 2 weeks to deliver that. Still not here and no calls or updates. Horrible costumer service. Would not ever recommend them to anyone. Still waiting 6 months on.

My husband and I had already settled on furniture from another local store, but decided to check out Ashley in Horseheads for the heck of it. Upon entering the store, we were greeted by Johnny, who explained the current sale and offered to help with anything we needed. Johnny then left us to browse without hounding us. We actually found furniture of interest and requested to speak with Johnny. He was very personable and informative. This was our first time visiting in Ashley home furniture store and our sales person, Eric made this an easy and unforgettable experience. He was considerate of our need and helped us stay within our budget. He also had a great attitude and was very personable. We visited other furniture stores on the same say and if it weren’t for Eric we may not have made our purchase today. I can’t say enough about the service we received. Really would've given negative stars if I could. I have previously gotten a sofa on a good deal from them 4 years ago. But this time when I ordered a sleeper in mid August, I was said that the order would be delivered in 6-8 weeks and till date it has been almost 4 months. They not only postponed the order, they didn't even follow up on that. I have called them 4 times already during this period where they put you on hold for minutes. One sales rep even hung up on me! Believe me I was talking very politely after all this wait! Even then they are saying that I will be getting my order in March next year!!! And when I canceled the order, the money is going to be returned in 7-10 business days when they immediately charged my card for the full amount when the order was placed. On top of that there is no compensation for the lost time when I could've looked for deals during this sale season. I get that people are affected by this pandemic but Ashley is never getting any business from me.

The original couch we picked was on back order and they spent countless hours finding him a couch that was better than the one we picked and was delivered within one week. the sales staff was great but the delivery was horrible first the told us last minute so she had to take a day off from work and then all the parts to put the bed together so when they came back a second time I had to take a day off and they wouldn't even help me move the old one out of the way. very disappointed in there service then they wouldn't even help me put the new bed together. what happened to the customer is always right especially after I spent 7k

I can't speak for all of Ashley Furniture but our experience with the store in Horseheads, NY was positive, in particular because of Ryan, one of the floor associates. He was very helpful, knowledge, friendly, but not pushy. My wife and I appreciated that. We didn't feel pressured.

This is the first of two reviews...i think. I felt compelled to share with everyone that I ordered a 4-Piece sectional on June 16th from the store in Horseheads, New York. My salesman, Ryan, is and has been, very helpful and very responsive throughout the last three months as I've waited for my furniture to arrive. I was told initially that because of covid-19 my order could take up to at least six or seven weeks. Today I was told that the soonest delivery date I could have was October 8th!!! I do understand and want to be reasonable given the covid-19 situation. But I ordered this on June 16th, well into the covid-19 situation. I wanted to inform individuals who were considering purchasing furniture that they could easily be looking at THREE TO FOUR MONTH WAIT before they receive the furniture that they paid for. I will do another review on the actual furniture.quality and comfort when and if it ever arrives.

My experience at the Horseheads store was awesome. I have no issue with the process of my purchase. However, since my initial delivery date my order continues to be delayed and they have postponed my order 6 times. This is turning into a nightmare experience and the excuses by customer service are poor. I ordered a bed well in time for my son's birthday and its still delayed. Will not use Ashley again.

I purchased two couches, a chair, and an ottoman on 6/27/2020, my in store experience was okay. The salesman worked with and gave us decent pricing, over all it was a good experience. We were told that day 6-8 WEEKS our furniture would be ready for pick up. Salesman told me to call every week and check what the date with customer service. First few weeks they gave me Aug 11th for pick up. Which is in the range I was told. The week before Aug 11th I call and am told it will not be avaible until Sept 25th. Today August 14th, I am told that my furniture will not be available until OCTOBER 6th. I understand that Covid is delaying production. However, why was I told 6-8 weeks. Every week I get a different answer, and it gets pushed out later?! Customer service is not accommodating to the situation what so ever. I would avoid purchasing furniture right now.

I purchased a bed set here which I received 6 months later. I purchased insurance for the bed for 5 years. The bed broke after two years. Please dont buy anything from here. They just look fancy with good talks. The service guy are basically not if any help other than finding loopholes of not helping you.

Although this is a huge store with lots of furniture options, everything we liked was going to be an 8-12 week order. The expensive sectionals we wanted are on back order. Staff is helpful, but when I find what I want I don't want to wait 2-3 MONTHS to get it. Very disappointed.

I called the store and spoke to Johnny. I wanted to order a dining set over the phone but I live in an area with spotty service. Johnny was awesome and let me text with him instead. Over the course of 2 months, I changed my order a few times and Johnny was super attentive and patient with me. I received my dining set yesterday and I love it. I mean, I couldn't stop petting the table top and sitting in the chairs. The bench I picked out outline is gorgeous and makes me feel like an aristocrat. Top notch customer service and quality furniture- I'll definitely be shopping here again.

We placed an order for a sofa, loveseat and a rocker recliner on March 14 2020 (prior to covid shut down) and was told our items would be delivered by 5/01/20. Then covid-19 happened. We didn't receive one phone call after the covid stipulations were lifted to inform us of our new delivery date. The delivery process has been a nightmare. We were finally contacted and informed our pieces would be delivered June 26th. We disposed of all our old furniture only to have that date cancelled on us and rescheduled for July 10 🙄 On July 10th the truck only delivered one of the three pieces. A phone call was made and that's when they told us that we had two separate orders and the remaining pieces would be delivered July 17. Well that is today. We only got one of the two remaining pieces. Now we are being informed that the final piece is on back order and will not be delivered until September 4. If it's even delivered labor day weekend it took almost six months for us to get our furniture. No phone calls made, no apologies given, not even a gift card for the major inconvenience. I understand the covid delays. I don't understand the reason for all the partial deliveries and the cancelled deliveries.

I wish I would of checked their Facebook page prior to ordering!! Sooooo many ppl having the same issues!! We purchased a mattress (beautyrest black k class) set w adjustable base from Ashley HomeStore in Horseheads NY in preparation of my husbands upcoming back surgery, we were told by the store 7-14 days to receive our order, we had an original delivery date of July 9th, July 8th we got rid of our old mattress set to prepare for delivery of our new set!! Later that same day we received a call from Ashley that due to manufacturer delay they did not obtain our order and had to reschedule, rescheduled to today July 16th, yesterday July 15th we once again received a reschedule call this time they say July 30th!! It clearly states on beautyrest website a 4-6 week lead time!! Yet Ashley is telling ppl 7-14 days and then blaming the delay on their suppliers, I contacted beauty rest customer service yesterday to inquire on our order & was told to obtain the beautyrest order number from Ashley & they would be more then happy to track our order. ASHLEY REFUSES TO GIVE US THAT NUMBER!! If we were made aware of the delay when originally ordering we would have understood n NOT GOT RID OF OUR BED, we had to go n buy a USED mattress last night n are currently sleeping ON THE FLOOR!! Ashley offered us a $500 store gift card for the inconvenience! What good does that do if u don’t receive the product?? They are selling products that can’t fulfill, then blames it on the supplier or covid!! If you read the reviews here & Facebook you will see this has gone on for YEARS!! I have since contacted BeautyRest, NY Attorney General & the Better Business Bureau.

So impressed with this place. We have been there twice and worked with Tanya both times. She was incredibly patient and informative about everything we liked and recommended great pieces within our budget. Never once did we feel any pressure or persuasion which was important to us, as furniture is a big investment. Because we trusted her so much I contacted her a year later when were in the market for a new mattress. We found one that was on sale for the fourth of July and got an incredible deal. They are really stepping up with helping people during this time of hardship with COVID-19. We won't go anywhere else for our big furniture purchases!

My daughter ordered a TV stand online over a month ago from you and you sent the wrong TV stand. It took her a couple days to get through and talked to a woman who said they would have to send driver back to get the stand and it would be a couple days to get it back. It got picked up and she got a message that it arrived there, but she has not been able to get a response back. It's been almost a week of leaving messages and no replies back. You sent the wrong TV stand you could see that by the sticker on the box that it wasn't right and NO ONE is returning her call so she has filed a complaint with the Attorney Generals office. There was no reason for not sending the correct TV Stand right back out for delivery! Poor customer Service and someone needs to make this right AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!

Ashley Furniture is the worst furniture store in the area first they can't even tell you when your delivery is then they tried to call my mother in law a liar of when her delivery was when they left a voicemail with the date (but no time) then my parents get furniture and one piece is broken have to wait another 2 weeks for it and when they get it in the door and take it from the box it isn't even the right thing and they never even called back to say when it can be re-delivered I will never recommend them or use them personally

Bought a living room set at the Horseheads store. Had a problem with one of the items that I bought. Called the store and went down to the store and talked to Seth the Manager of the store and Lydia the sales lady and explained my problem with the sofa I bought. The sofa was discontinued so I had to find a new one to replace it. Seth did a tremendous job in helping me pick out a new one and also went out of his way to compensate me on the new sofa I picked out.I was very satisfied with the way that I was treated and the way they handled my situation. I was extremely pleased with everyone that helped me in the store including the lady that did the paperwork. Once again would like to say thank you to Seth and his staff for all they did and would not hesitate to return to the store to buy something else.

Lydia also helped us get the best deal possible and thoroughly explained the protection plan and delivery process. My only complaint is that I had to wait on hold almost a full hour when trying to contact the delivery department to arrange for delivery of our furniture. There was an option to get a call back instead of staying on the phone, however when I pressed the number, I got a message that this option was not available and I was put back in the cue. Maybe that department needs more people working in it!

Lydia helped us out at Ashley Home Furniture in Horseheads. We found the mattress, bedroom set, and furniture set we were looking for. She was very informational and helped us tremendously through the whole process.

Excellent service! Found just the right chairs for my farm table, purchased 6. Be sure to ask for Tanya when you arrive.

I’ve had two experiences with Ashley‘s that have been exactly the same. The first one resulted in furniture taking about eight weeks from start to finish, 3 to 4 weeks after the promised date. I was given Ashley‘s cash for my experience, so I returned, and purchased some additional pieces. Once again that resulted in almost a seven week wait for these items. It’s unfortunate that I won’t return because the items in the store are beautiful. However I found that I can order them online for the same or less cost with free shipping.

I purchased a kitchen island/dining set, and Ryan was able to work with my tight schedule to have it on a truck and out for delivery within 15 min of completing the paperwork!!!! Will definitely be stopping here first for my future furniture needs!

So I bought a living room set that was supposed to be delivered in two weeks it didn't come a month later still no couch 2 months later I get half of my living room set and on the 3rd month the other half was supposed to show up and today it does only it's the wrong couch this place is horrible to do business with I will never buy from Ashley furniture again

I will NEVER shop with this company again. Between the rude UNPROFESSIONAL staff and our purchase being delivered over 2 weeks after the time we were told, I could not be more DISSATISFIED with the experience. 10 out 10 shop literally anywhere else.

Very disappointed in this company. Paid cash on a bedroom suite, had to wait 2 months for it to arrive due to a mistake on their part. When I asked for a little discount on a box spring... no help. Cool, Ashley. Customer service and appreciation is not your thing.

my in laws paid for a sofa and loveseat and was told that the furniture would be ready by 6/8. it's has been nearly 2 months and they are unable to get their furniture still! my father in law who is a Vietnam vet went today to have two men tell him the warehouse was closed after he paid someone $20 to get the furniture! THIS IS UNCALLED FOR! They are elderly and not in good health ! they have called and spoke to managers and head quarters to discuss delivery for the completely ridiculous amount of waiting only to be told "oh well!" I will never spend another dollar in their store and I have a $5000 credit limit. if this is how we treat our elderly and our vets then I will not support this business.

We went there today with a "don't settle" attitude. We did not expect such friendly, helpful and knowledgeable customer service! Tanya was so wonderful! We would have left empty handed had it not been for her! The wait for delivery seems like a lifetime but worth it to have exactly what we want! I cant wait for our new couch to come!

My husband and I went in here looking for a couch, and were pleasantly surprised by the prices and how comfortable all of them were! We also got help from Lydia, who is AWESOME. She was so helpful, patient, and kind. And got us a really nice deal. We loved our experience and would definitely recommend that people go here (and find Lydia for help). :)

Just so you know you can not buy anything from Ashley. You pay them then they order it acting as middle man. They have you hostage for 5 plus weeks plus + they have your money while you wait!! We went to raymour and Flanagan got what we paid for in 3 days delivered 👍🏻

Pushy and demeaning. The sales lady told me she didn't think I should try to put a table together it might be above my skill level. They had a sale going on 20% off but you had to pay for delivery and buy their protection plan . 180 bucks to bring it 5 miles yea ok . We didn't buy there. We did buy someplace else though .

Love it here, they are very helpful as soon as you walk through the door, and they have answers for any questions you have about your future home furniture.

Odered my furniture and set up a delivery time. They never showed up. I lost time at work. I had to make my own calls to figure it out. Then they want to discount my total. Meanwhile my furniture is gone because I should have my new stuff. Horrible business. I wouldn't waste your money here folks!

I would NOT EVER purchase from here. A friend of mine has had 5-6 diff delivery dates and they keep changing it on her! They Offer a Ashley’s gift card in return who wants that when they can’t even deliver what they ordered 2 months ago in which Ashley’s already pulled from their bank account! Crappy service!!!

Great place to go when you want to look at furniture and be greeted politely but not pestered or followed around until you leave or buy something.

I went in this store on March 2, 2019 looking for just a chair and ottoman. The salesman was great and helped me. He told me that it would be 14-28 days before it came in but I could call back and check on a more accurate date. Yesterday was the 25 day so I called the store to see if they could give me an arrival period. I was transferred to a rude lady that told me they would call me when my recliner arrived, I do not need to call them. You would think 25 days into this order they would have details.

I was in your stat shopping and met Carson or Bill as he was prefered.. Had a great time looking , he was very knowledgeable and curious. Please continue to have people like him in your stores and you'll make customers for life.

Had a great Experience today with Lance. Very friendly, easy going and most of all, listened to what my wife & I wanted. Stoppebbd at Ashley to look and to price a bed/mattresses. Lance was patient, Informative, knowledgeable. We ended up purchasing a king mattress, motion frame w massage & a Hdbd. Can't wait for it to arrive. Ty

My girlfriend and I purchased a living room set, bedroom set and kitchen table and chairs. We were helped by Tanya who did not pressure and was genuine and so nice. Tanya provided my girlfriend and I with all the information we needed and was outstanding helping us select a new mattress as well. Purchased 2 sofas of durablend leather from Ashley. There are 2 adults, no kids or pets. The “leather has split Cracked & peeled. I contacted Ashley & never received a response. Ashley just responded to this post, told me nothing can be done. No repairs, no offer of even a partial refund. If a business doesn’t stand behind their products when they are defective do you really want to do business with them?

Ryan was great. He didn't hover, gave us space to decide, but was close by to answer any questions, always very respectful and professional. He went above and beyond helping us find what we were looking for...even to the point of having the perfect set brought in from the warehouse and set up in the showroom. The only negative is the delivery. We were told 2-4 weeks, which would have been about March 27th, but when I called to schedule, I was told that because some of the material is out of stock, delivery will not be until April 23rd. That makes it close to two months to receive our furniture, not 2-4 weeks.

Horrible customer service. Rep left us to argue with another couple several feet away. Needless to say we walked out and will not be returning. The store itself seemed outdated and the furniture we looked at appeared very cheaply made and not durable.

Ryan was great. I just ordered a dining table , chairs and bench yesterday after a couple trips in trying to decide on the purchase. He was helpful, friendly but let me have my space while shopping. No pressure which was great. All sales staff very nice to encounter. Excited to get our items

Shopping experience was very good. Went in looking for new mattress and was helped by Andrew. He gave us a great experience by providing us with information about our intended purchase and explained other options without trying to upsell us to a more expensive one. Delivery on the other hand...disappointing already. We were told to call today to schedule our "free delivery and old mattress removal". We called and were informed that they only deliver to my area on Saturdays.The only available appointment happened to be this Saturday, which I am unavailable for. Was told the next available delivery date is not until sometime in April. So now my "free" delivery has now turned into I have to pay to dispose of my old mattress, take time to go pick it up myself and install it myself. So my overall review - sales= thumbs up, delivery= big thumbs down, hence the 3 star review.

5 stars is for my salesperson, Ryan. I went to Ashley in Horseheads on a whim and ended up purchasing the Porter bedroom set at a fair price. Ryan was super friendly and very knowledgable. My experience in that store and with that salesperson was excellent. I am however, very disappointed that my new bedroom set will not be delivered until March 29th which will be over a month from my purchase date of February 25th. This month long delivery process will make me leary of any future purchases from Ashley, no matter how good the price and staff are.
