Nice solid furniture. Great price. Been shopping with them for years. Furniture is durable and up to date. If you go to Horseheads store, ask for Josiah....excellent!

Whitney was exceptionally helpful in the entire process, and really knows her stuff! She was very clear, and gave very detailed information about the products I was interested in. All the staff were very welcoming and helpful.

Whitney was very helpful and had a lot of patience 😃 I found what I what I liked as measurements being an issue. There was a lot of furniture there that I liked, but wouldn't fit into my measurements... Friendly and professional definitely worth checking them out 👍

We looked at local furniture stores, and eventually decided to go with Ashley because we really loved Joe. He was so incredibly helpful and spent hours with us, helping us find the best pieces for our living room. Unfortunately the afternoon before the scheduled delivery date we received a text message saying they're sorry for any inconvenience and the delivery would need to be moved a MONTH out from the previously scheduled date. Yes, not a phone call. A text message the day before the delivery. We had already gotten the living room space cleared out for the delivery. We immediately started calling other stores and luckily a local competitor can get us the same exact pieces and an additional piece for a much lower price and can have it delivered to us in under 2 weeks. For this reason I would not shop here again. We're normally pretty patient and understanding people, but I felt this was something that's review worthy.. and I feel bad for Joe because his time was wasted due to problems with the company as a whole. Sorry Joe!

We were welcomed at the door at felt right at home! Brandon and the entire Ashley team are so helpful! They walked us through the store and to exactly what we needed. The deals are excellent and the service is above and beyond! The team even helped us load the car and made sure we knew how to set everything up properly when we got home. We will definitely continue making the trip to this particular Ashley for our home furnishing needs!

Joe Skeete our salesman did a great job at showing us all the different models of purple mattresses and gave us great tips on sleeping better. Excellant job and the other staff is friendly and very willing to help answer questions. Highly recommend this store and the folks who work there.

I also ended up getting a mattress and he was extremely knowledgeable of how a mattress should feel how the mattresses are made and just from talking to me learned what would probably work best for me

My father and I purchased the Acklen Place chaise, armless chair, chaise in pewter for our living room on Tuesday. We went back today to add 2 consoles with storage also in pewter with hopes of getting everything delivered on the same day. Josiah was very helpful in setting this up for us and he listened and answered all of our questions and even was patient when we were deciding and trying to figure out what would work best for us and pricing. Thank you so much, we will be back for any furniture we need in the future ❤️

My husband and I had a wonderful experience shopping for a bed frame and mattress. Josiah Scott worked very patiently with us over a two-day period to ensure our new bed met all of our needs. I needed a frame that was 9 inches off the ground to fit shoe totes and in a cherry color, while my husband wanted good value and a medium-to-firm mattress. Josiah never pushed us to buy the most expensive products but instead gave us plenty of style and price options—and even found our frame on clearance! We ended up choosing a bed platform instead of a traditional frame, which I had never even considered until Josiah showed me how well it met my storage needs. We took our time looking at mattresses because my husband and I have different sleep preferences, and the following day we decided to try the 90-day trial on a Purple mattress. I love that we can try it before committing. Our experience with Josiah at Ashley Furniture was so positive that we plan to return for a couch this winter!

Over the years I have bought several pieces of furniture from the store in Horseheads , New York. I love the huge selection they offer and every piece has been made out of good quality wood and fabric. Every employee I have dealt with over the years has been fantastic, they give you your space but are close by with any answers to your questions. I have never felt pushed into a sale or rushed to make a decision which goes a long way in my book. The only reason why I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I find the lighting in there is too dark and often times colors will change when you hit the daylight. They do carry tablets so they can bring up an item to show you a more accurate description should you struggle in this area as I do. Overall this store in particular has never let me down.

I had the best experience. My salesman Joe was very knowledgeable. Not pushy at all. Which impressed me. And he would also make a great interior decorator! He was matching pillows to make the perfect splash of color. The purchase from beginning to end was quick and quite easy. Thank you Joe and Ashley!

Been waiting on Warranty and parts for a very expensive electric recliner since October. Called several times and get the same story. Parts are on back order should be shipped by the end of the month. I am a cancer survivor that is disabled and need this chair to function. Customer service lacks a little to be desired. Strongly recommend you go elsewhere.

I am a bit disappointed that I was told I would receive a bit of a refund becuase I had purchased so much but it has been two months and I have not received said refund.

The salesman David welcomed us into the store. We were looking for recliners he directed us to where they were. He came back in a bit to check on us, answered our questions. He was not pushy or checking on us every three minutes he allowed us to look and try them out by ourselves. When we were ready to buy we found him. I had excellent customer service from MacKenzie when I walked in to Ashley to look at recliners. I just went in "to look" and saw several chairs I liked and 2 were real candidates for purchase. MacKenzie answered questions about the chairs but did not push me to make a decision. He answered all my questions about the chairs and once I decided one chair over the other I felt confident I'd made a good decision. Mickenzie made the purchase process simple and clear. I left without thinking,"I should have asked this or that", he was easy to talk to and I felt like coming in "just to look" was the right thing to do.

My son and I had visited the store 2 weeks prior and Mickenzie helped that day as well. My husband needed to test beds out as his physical needs were why we were shopping in the first place. Mickenzie had my husband try the beds that he had recommended during the initial trip to Ashley and we settled on a bed that was right for both of us. Not once did Mickenzie try to sell us an products that we weren't looking to buy. I would definitely recommend Ashley and I would buy again in the future if need be. We went to another furniture store in Downtown Elmira and it wasn’t the best so we googled Furniture Stores and Ashley came up. I was thinking it was gonna be corporate and lack luster! This store is awesome and the selection is fantastic!! We found everything we wanted and more! The store is designed and laid out really nicely. The best part is David Jackson, he gave us the best pricing so we didn’t have to shop around plus found everything in stock and helped coordinate delivery. We are disappointed after buying from here, they showed something else and gave something different, after reaching out they said they can’t do anything to fix the issue which was done by their own people. First time bought something from them and I won’t recommend them again to anyone.

We recently purchased a sofa and Queen bed frame from Ashley’s furniture store Josiah Scott was our sales representative he asked what we were looking for and showed us furniture that matched our wants and price range. He made the purchase easy as well as went over some of the payment options. We would recommend Ashley’s furniture as well as Josiah to anyone looking for furniture upgrades.

Josiah was friendly and greeted us as soon as we came in the store. He told us where we could find what we were looking for. He let us look around without hovering over us, but checked in a few times to see if we had questions or needed information. Overall a great place to do business.

This is a review specifically for Nigel. He was great to work with!! Not pushy or obnoxious in anyway, he simply just wanted to help us find what we were looking for. He was very knowledgeable about the furniture and policies but also wasn’t afraid to ask an associate if he wasn’t sure about something to make sure he was giving us accurate information. If you are going to Ashley for furniture, ask for Nigel! You won’t be disappointed!!

Where do I even begin.. This is an extremely long saga that just keeps growing due to the extreme unprofessionalism and disrespect of this establishment and their employees. It all began with them denying my sale and refusing to let me use a card because they decided to make up a fictitious rule that you cannot use your store card for purchases under $300 which is false since I’ve made plenty in the past. They then have the nerve to act as if I am the one in the wrong and attempt to gaslight me that I am somehow being unreasonable when I said to just forget it and cancel the sale. I then complain to management and review my experience on here and continue to be told that their staff is correct and that I don’t know what I’m talking about. I’m not sure which is more unprofessional, lying to a customer whose sale you just denied for no reason or having employees gather around and stare you down while clearly talking about you. Either way, this store is guilty of doing both and I took appropriate action much to their dismay. Once the dust finally settled, I did my best to forget this place ever existed and that I’ve ever done business with them, and an employee from the store then came up to me when I was at the gym minding my own business and told me “if you have a problem with me say it to my face.” What on earth? I’m pretty sure I already expressed my disdain with his abysmal attitude and service at the store, but to bring this all a step further and attempt to begin an altercation outside of the business is next level. An employee from the gym had to separate us and nearly call the police all because he had a personal vendetta against me and was angry that I made a complaint in the past. Don’t be angry when this is all your fault, and someone speaks out against you. I should be allowed to enter public places to my leisure without dealing with the confrontation of unhinged employees at a failing store.

I worked with two men who were exceptional in greeting, finding, and informing me about what I was looking for. Very knowledgeable, professional and clear on what I purchased.

I really love the selection's this store has for different things.But what is really great is the staff Mr. Josiah Scott goes above and beyond for his customers and he always responds promptly when i have needed to contact him,EVEN AFTER NORMAL STORE HOURS,I HAD TO TEXT HIM TO ASK HIM SOMETHING ! I always fear going into these types of stores and having someone hound me while trying to look. After several minutes of browsing, I was greeted, asked what I was looking for and if she could help. After looking at a few floor pieces, I was told about the clearance section. I found what I was looking for there and she even discounted it further! I was then handed over to a gentleman who finished my sale. He was very thorough explaining the 12 month no interest program and answered any questions I had. I was very pleased with the whole experience and am not anxiously awaiting its arrival!

David was a great help when I was looking for a new couch. I had a long list of wants and sat on almost every couch there. He had patience despite my indecisiveness and continued looking to find exactly what I wanted. He was also able to call the store shipping my couch in and get it sent out the next day instead of having to wait a week. Tonya was a nice lady, very helpful. She was willing to move furniture around to make my vision come to light. I purchased a couch, coffee table, one end table, and a rug. TIP: I would look at their prices online before purchasing in THIS store. Most things are A LOT cheaper if they’re ordered online, along with the delivery fee, ($300 in store and $129 online (some locations $199)) IT IS NOT FREE like I was originally told!! AND the protection plan ($500 in store and $349 online.) I wish I knew all of this information before purchasing in store, but they did price match for me after I came back in to “complain”.

Quick and easy purchase

We’ve purchased furniture from this Ashley store a few times and have always had a good experience. This time was no exception. The selection was great and we found a living room set we love. We worked with salesman Lance Christman, who was polite, professional, and had a good sense of humor. He was very knowledgeable about the furniture available, and was able to help us with our questions. He also helped with updating our store card account. All in all, it was a very nice experience and I’m sure we’ll shop here again.

The Ashley sales rep, David treated me the way I like to shop. He greeted me at the entrance, pointed me in the direction of what furniture I was looking for, was readily available when I was ready to ask questions, answered my questions, went online to find exactly what I wanted, put a deal together, and put a 24 hour hold on what I selected. An hour or so later I called him and completed the deal on the phone. Very easy purchase with no hard sell.

Visiting Ashley in Horseheads, NY we were greeted by Josiah Scott , a great guy to work with !!!!! He immediately asked what we were looking for.....we had a lot of questions and concerns..Josiah was patient, listened, and got to work......he is very knowledgeable and worked hard to get us what we wanted---plus a good deal....It was a pleasurable shopping experience with Josiah (and I hate shopping !!!) .... Easy to talk with, very personable.......He even charged our cell phone ! lol

Good deals on lamps!

Customer service was great! There is also a playhouse for the kids to play in while you shop. This makes is a lot easier to shop with kids and they aren't jumping all over the furniture.

I went to Ashley in Horseheads NY seeking a new recliner. The salesperson was a very affable young man. I told him what I wanted and what my budget was, and he proceeded to show me chairs that were over my budget, but said he could "give me a good price" on them. He then left me to wander on my own and try out some chairs. I found one I really liked (which he hadn't shown me), but with no price on it. When he came back I asked the price, and lo and behold it was within my budget. Fancy that! I liked the price and told him I wanted to buy it. They had some in stock, and I wanted to take it with me. Then came the bait and switch. "I'll have to talk to my manager..." Right. When he came back he said the price he quoted was the online price, and to honor that they have to deliver it and charge me $100 delivery fee. I called bullsh*t and said no, I want to take it with me for the price he quoted me. He had to talk to his manager again. Right. Finally came back and said I could take one with me for just $50 more that the price he quoted me originally. I know these guys are doing a job and just trying to make a buck. But geez, can you not be so sleazy about it?! Ultimately it's a good product, very well made and comfortable. And I was ok with the final price, just felt a little manipulated. But whatever. I have a nice new recliner that I like. Caveat emptor.

We came into the location to browse and get an idea for what would work best in our space. Josiah was helpful when needed but gave us our space to where we didn’t feel any pressure to make a decision that day. With his help we were able to find the perfect set for us. He made sure we got the best possible deal and with a baby on the way and a dog friendly home made sure we knew all the benefits of the protection plan. Delivery was scheduled that day and we now have peace of mind knowing everything will be delivered and set up before our baby makes his arrival. This location had several displays as well as a kiosk to help build custom options for your space. We had a great experience and will be back!

My husband and I were in search of a couch and after looking elsewhere, decided to make a quick stop at Ashley in Horseheads before it closed. We arrived about 10 minutes before closing (yes, we were those people). Our sales representative, Josiah, came to our aid - guiding us to a couch that would work within our budget and fit the needs for our new home. They were wonderful and even assisted with an order change (after a change of heart on one of the pieces). Excellent service and much appreciated in a time crunch!

John was amazing. Walked in around 12:15, John greets me at the door and asked me if I had something in mind that I was interested in. I told him what I was looking for, he didn’t try steer me in a more expensive direction but took me to exactly what I had in mind. He did not hover over me. He said he would give me time to look around and he would come back and check on me. That’s exactly what John did. We talked some numbers and I was out less than an hour and bonus points for John because no one can ever remember how to spell my last name but John did. Extra bonus points for getting my furniture delivered within two weeks of purchase!!
