Went into the Kingston, New York store and dealt with Shannon Ford, she is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and offers the best customer service that I have encountered in a long time. she has really changed my opinion about Ashley furniture.

Have been looking to get a new couch and were leaving Sam’s Club and decided to head over the Ashley’s Furniture! Shanon greeted us and told us no pressure at all. We wanted her assistance anyways and ended up asking several questions that she was very helpful with. She also let us walk around by ourselves and we ended up deciding on the couch she suggested anyways. She was very friendly and professional the whole time. We will be back to purchase more with her when we need to!

After shopping around for living room furniture at three different stores, we finally found exactly what we wanted—and a big part of that was thanks to Rudy. He was knowledgeable, helpful, and low pressure, which made the entire experience easy and enjoyable. The model we originally came in for wasn’t available on the floor, and we could have easily left, but Rudy helped us explore other options and we ended up loving what we chose even more. Great customer service without any pushiness. Highly recommend!

Our salesman Rudy was highly knowledgeable, passionate, friendly, and professional. He walked us through many varieties of sofas for our grandmother and allowed my brothers james and angus to fully understand what we needed. We entered the building misguided and confused and left highly knowledgeable, pleased, and prepared for our grandmothers comfort.

Our sales rep (Shanon) was very helpful with picking out a recliner, I am very indecisive when first shopping put I start narrowing things down to what I really want as we go along and she was Sooo patient with me and no pressure . In the end I got what I'm happy with and her knowledge of the warranty and info on the furniture itself was a deciding factor.

Rudy at Ashley Furniture was incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and patient. I came in wanting to try out mattresses—something I find nearly impossible without being able to actually lie down and test them out. Rudy made the experience comfortable and easy. He took the time to explain the differences between each model and never made me feel rushed or pressured. Financing options made the monthly cost feel totally manageable—about the same as a weekend takeout run. If you’re having trouble finding the right bed, I highly recommend asking for Rudy. He really knows his stuff and genuinely wants to help you find the perfect fit. Prices were just as good as anywhere else I looked, with the bonus of in-person service and support. Five stars all around!

Do not buy from here! We picked out a Queen bed and a basic adjustable frame at the store and once we received it, we realized this is just too small for us. So we called Ashley to exchange the queen for a King and they told us it’ll cost us 25% of the mattress cost (which was over 2k) and a delivery fee and our frame is non refundable. The frame being non refundable was NEVER told to us and not even in the forms we signed. The frame costed us $1,000. So in order to exchange the mattress for a King would be the cost of the upgrade plus the 25% and $120 delivery fee and a new base? We would be out almost 3k and have a queen bed frame hanging around. That is ridiculous! None of which was explained. The Ashley sales woman said if we brought it back in 30 days we could get a full refund and turns out she was lying to us too! Corporate was rude and immovable. It makes no sense because it was going to be an exchange that would bring them more money! Do not be swindled and do not shop here!

Shanon Ford at the kingston location-- i can not say enough good things about. She is personable and not your typical salesperson pushy. When my first couch did not fit she made find a second choice easy. The entire experience was simple. I highly recommend seeking her out when you need your next piece of furniture

My mother is moving into a new home, and we were looking to purchase new furniture for each room. This is overwhelming for anyone, and we were apprehensive about taking on the task. After talking with many friends and family, we heard so many great things about Ashley that we set the date to go shopping. From the moment we walked into the store, Shanon Ford was a brilliant guide. She asked what we were looking for and all our concerns, and off we went! My Mom spends most of her time in her recliner, so we started there. Shanon listened to what she wanted and helped pick out my mom’s favorite thing, her new recliner! This kindness set the tone for the whole appointment. The day started with an uneasy feeling and ended with the biggest smile on her face and a new sense of excitement for her new home. I can’t say enough about Shanon's impact on our experience. She thought of things that I hadn’t considered that will make my mom’s world easier and more accessible, and I will be forever grateful. She was patient and kind, and we never felt rushed. Shanon helped us make an overwhelming task easy, and I can't thank her enough. My mom will now be comfortably settled in her new home with furniture that she loves. Shanon made an event that we were not looking forward to into a very special day filled with fun memories. BOUGHT A POWER RECLINER AND HAD IT DELIVERED TO A LONG TERM FACILITY FOR MY ELDERLY MOM. DELIVERY WENT FLAWLESSLY, WAS ACTULLY DELIVERED 10 MINUTES BEFORE THE GIVEN WINDOW, THE DRIVER CALLED WHEN THEY WERE 15 MINUTES OUT. COULDNT ASK FOR BETTER SERVICE AND COMMUNICATION.

Horrible experience with Ashley. I ordered my table in march it didn’t get delivered until June after they rescheduled it three times. Then the driver had the audacity to ask for a tip. Needless to say I’ll never order fro Ashley again or recommend them to anyone.

Unfortunately I didn't have a good experience getting our twin bed. The salesman didn't let us know that we would have to buy draws with our bed or get a box spring. The bed was delivered and couldn't be used. We delivery driver was rude and not helpful getting it resolved. We had to go back to the store and buy a box spring. Luckily Dan was very helpful in getting it resolved for us. He even worked with the Poughkeepsie store to get it as soon as possible. Was very greatful to him and the Poughkeepsie location.

Met with sales manager Randy Vellegas to discuss possibly getting a new bed. Explained my health issues and he was ABSOLUTELY wonderful!! He introduced me to the Purple bed and demonstrated 3 of them and explained everything he was a complete joy to work with! I purchased the purple bed along with the adjustable bed frame and I ABSOLUTELY love it!! It’s been a week and I sleep much better and literally wake up refreshed!! Delivery was ok, won’t go into detail but it was fine. Thank you again Randy!!

My fiancé and I went to Ashley looking for some new furniture as we just bought our first home and were looking for a living room set and kitchen table. John was AMAZING through the entire process. I can be a bit picky and indecisive but he stuck it out with me!! John is definitely going to be my go to guy when we go back. The furniture quality is great and surpassed our expectations!! The couch is so comfortable and fits perfectly in our living room. Our kitchen table is absolutely beautiful, we now get to have family dinners together. DELIVERY REVIEW: We did ask during our in-store purchase process that the delivery drivers wear protective booties over there shoes as we just spent a lot of money having our hardwood floors sanded and repolished prior to moving anything into our new home. The delivery guys hardly spoke English and didn’t understand what we were asking about with the shoe covers but eventually said they didn’t have anything to wear on their shoes. They also continually drug boxes and parts of the furniture across the floors leaving several significantly large deep scratches in our brand new refinished hardwood floors. Aside from those few incidents they were very punctual and arrived earlier than our appointment time and did a great job putting everything together and getting it setup. OVERALL: I am EXTREMELY satisfied with my experience with Ashley. They have definitely redeemed themselves from my previous not so good experience. I can’t thank John enough for putting up with me and helping us pick out the perfect pieces for our home!!

Michelle is a great salesperson. Pieces were delivered nicely wrapped delivery men brought them in unwrapped them and the right arm facing piece had a dirty mark on it they tried using tape to fix it but it didn't work. They called Ashley and I spoke to person andwas offered to have a cleaning service try to fix it but I want the piece exchanged for a new one. The delivery men returned with the dirty piece and the pillows. The delivery men were very professional and courteous.

The sales associate Michelle Cunningham was extremely knowledgeable, not pushy at all, listened to what we had to say, and even sent us information on the couches we liked so we could go home and give it more thought. I went back today and Michelle made the process of getting the couch super easy and stress free. We were even able to schedule delivery for the specific Saturday we needed. 100% recommend Ashley's! The team was wonderful they were welcoming, helpful and informative. Rickell answered all of our questions and helped us look at all kinds of options and products we were thinking about to help us pull our vision together. We had a lot of difficulty processing our 3rd party lease but they remained calm polite and helpful. They spent a lot of time with us and made connections they were not just trying to sell us products.

We went in looking for new furniture for our living room. James was very attentive and knowledgeable when we said what we were hoping for. We had shopped around a little bit I definitely felt more valued at Ashley! I went back the following night to meet James and seal the deal. I was helped by Eddie and Michelle who were all very helpful and easy to work with. Highly recommend!

Visited the Kingston store, knowing, I was looking to find a couch. I wasn't planning on actually buying anything, just going to see what they had. Was greeted promptly by a sales associate ( Shanon Ford) I immediately responded just looking at what you have not probably gonna buy today. She gave us our space and let us browse,but let us know she was there by checking in and asking questions. By then, she understood our budget and helped us find what we needed and wanted. We will go back because of her. The manager was also very friendly and relaxed. Thanks Shanon for the extra effort. Went in just to shop and happily left with what we wanted a couch!

Overall, Ashley has better selection for modern bedroom sets. The staff there were cool and helpful. My concern - they sell you on “sleep set” however they do not have king size pillows to match with the king size sheet set. I left with less than queen size pillows that do not fit well in the protective pillow case. They should acknowledge this and not up sell you on this “package.” It was great to have a direct contact there but when I reached out about this I was told all sales are final and that a regional manager would reach out (no one did). Bottom line if I’m paying a lot of money I except everything to fit, this was unfortunately not that case. Double check your items and receipt before leaving the store. I don’t recommend getting the “sleep set” if you’re getting a queen size bed.

Would not recommend purchasing here if you live in the city - their operations and sales team are not coordinated. I have had five delivery dates, changes plans, and we are still waiting. They do not know what a COI is or how to deliver to apt in the city. Not impressed

Angela and Anahi helped me from the time I walked in until I was done with my purchase. They were AWESOME, personable and helpful. If I could give them 10 stars I would. They were very relaxed and not overly pushy which is something I can’t stand with sales reps, which made the experience far less stressful than I expected. The atmosphere there was calm and friendly. They helped me weigh the pros and cons of different furniture I was looking at, got me out the door with something I needed today plus an order to be delivered and all within a great price range. Would 100% recommend speaking with them if you’re going to buy furniture.

Anahi and Angela went above and far beyond trying to help me find a beautiful couch that compliments my living room. They worked with my budget never pushed care free, not stressful and easy to work out. Go see Anahi she has your best intentions in mind.

I worked with Brendan who is apparently a senior sales member. After the sale was completed I was told Brendan would call me back to verify specific delivery instructions. I had to follow up two times over the next 3 days as I never received a call back. Eventually on my second call I asked for Brendan and or James whose I was told was a district manager. I was told they were not available and on the floor helping other customers… I left my name and number. Almost an hour later, no call back. I called again, again told both Brendan and James were with other customers. I politely explained to the person on the phone that I was also a customer that purchased almost $6000 worth of furniture two days ago and I deserved as much attention and respect as a current customer on your sales floor and I was calling because I never got any confirmation about my delivery finally a logistical manager named Shalee got on the phone. I explained to her what was going on and she eventually confirmed that my delivery date would be on March 1. I mentioned to her that I felt it was really bad business practice for your sales representatives at the end of a transaction to drop the ball and not follow through with a paying customer. The experience left a bad taste in my mouth. The logistical manager advised that Brendan would call me back anyway and I told her tell him don’t waste his time as he had already wasted mine.

It was good Mike is a fine young man we were disappointed that Will left for he was the one that got us to come back we came in 2 times before to be sure and Will spent alit of time with us but I’m sure Mike will be as good

My experience at Ashley- Kingston NY was a pleasant one. The salesperson Brendan Walsh was very helpful and easy to deal with. There are a lot of good choices and selections for whatever you are looking for.

Originally I gave a 5 star review, but I was supposed to have my items delivered today. I watched the sales lady put us on the schedule, have the paperwork to prove it, I called since they said they were going to call me, only to be told it was put not scheduled and I we can’t get our furniture for another 15 days. If we were told it was going to take a month for delivery we would have gone somewhere else.

I had a great experience purchasing two accent chairs thanks to Jacque and Caroline. They were both very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. They told me exactly when the chairs would be in the warehouse and that they would call me to schedule a delivery at that time. Everything went as they said and I am receiving my chairs tomorrow, can't wait! I will definitely be returning to Ashley for future furniture needs.

Walked in to Ashley this evening after just coming from Raymour and Flanagan and I’m so happy I did! Mitch immediately greeted me and was super helpful. He asked me what I was looking for so I told him and he promptly brought me over to exactly what I wanted! His trainee (Mike I think?) was very nice as well. Needless to say I purchased a sofa, loveseat and ottoman. Great service, all the staff was smiling and very pleasant. Can’t wait for me new furniture!

We bought new furniture at Ashley furniture, the sales women Jackie was extremely helpful and very patient with us. We were unsure about fabrics and colors and styles. Jackie has the patience of a saint she spent hours with us.In the end we not only bought a leather sofa and loveseat and the color I wanted.I also bought a beautiful outdoor rattan sectional with two side tables and a big ottoman.Thank you Jackie Bell for all your patience, knowledge we are very happy with all our furniture.

My first experience of going into Ashley Store, was 25 years ago in New Jersey. I bought a bed from them. Amazingly that bed is still going strong, still look just as good as the day i bought it. Naturally when Ashley arrive in Kingston New York, I had to visit them again. My first sales representative greeted me at the door and welcome me into the store. Her name was Sydney. Sydney was an amazing sales person. I love Ashley Furniture they are of good quality and it will last very long time if you take care of it. so I would recommend Ashley to anyone.

The sales team gave us enough space to wander around but also enough guidance to help us find what we needed in a sofa set.

Jackie was so friendly and very patient with me. After knowing what my likes were she recommended just the right headboard to go with my bedroom furniture. I highly recommend Ashley's to shop locally. Prices are good and so is the quality. No high pressure there.

Will did a great job showing my wife and I couches that fit our needs, answered all our questions knowledgeably and walkthrough the finance process. The credit card is a pain to work with, does not send out paper statement, and hides that you still need to make payments during interest free period. And of course does little to inform you of the pending day that charges you all the deferred interest. Especially when it happens during the holidays. Other cards so not do this.

Bought a few furniture pieces from this store, Salesperson was great, delivery guys and warehouse personnel not great at all. Had quite a few issues with that then had to have something replaced which began a whole new set of headaches. HOWEVER, I called the store and spoke with Madison, had the best experience, gave her my dilemma from begging to end. Needless to say Madison and a couple of her co-workers, went above and (I’m quite sure) beyond their job description and took care of my issues without hesitation. I will definitely be back.

My brother and sister-in-law are moving to Florida and I wanted to buy them a bedroom set. The Adviser, Rodney Brown, explained that we would need to place the order with the Ashley Furniture in Florida closest to their new address. Even though I wouldn't be purchasing the items from this location, Rodney still helped me look at my options and helped me tremendously! He is attentive, knowledgeable, friendly, and very helpful. I plan to visit in the future to buy from this location and will definitely ask for Rodney to help me.

Look for Sydney to assist you. She’s awesome. We just received delivery of our couch today and it was too big to go through the front door so they took it through a living room window. They did it very skillfully and with ease. We had a really nice experience with Ashley furniture and delivery.

Went to this store on 12/27/21 to purchase a mattress. Walked the whole store looking and trying to get someone's attention. My wife and I were not acknowledged by any employee other than to look at us and walk around us or away. They were more concerned with sitting on the furniture talking to one another and playing on their phones or tablets. It was an awful experience. One I have never dealt with in any other store. We left went down the road and made our $3000 mattress purchase with the very helpful staff at Mattress Firm. I will not come back to this store again.
