Gabriel Guerrero and his manager provided excellence service. I walked in and picked my whole master bedroom set, a new mattress and some decor pieces. We were in and out within an hour. He even responded through text when I wanted to order a matching fireplace two weeks after the original product was delivered.

Mike greeted us at the door and said he was not going to follow us around but to please let him know when we needed help, which was perfect. He was friendly, knowledgeable and had answers to all of our questions. We ended up buying a couch and the delivery is scheduled for 3 days later. Excellent experience, highly recommend.
Tommy and Mike are great salesmen. They gave us our space and we did not feel forced to buy anything or sign up for anything. They were able to answer our questions and guide us with our measurement predicaments and helped us find the perfect size and comfort level we wanted and needed.
I had a great experience today at Ashley furniture in Lake Grove. I stopped by the store because I wanted to see a specific piece in person. Anthony, the Sales Rep, knew exactly what piece I was asking about. He took me right to it, went over the particulars with me and then rang up the sale. He was friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable and didn't try to sell me anything else. He respected that I was interested in a specific item and that was that--no pressure. His manager was also helpful and pleasant. I was in and out quickly and my new piece of furniture will be delivered in a few days. Next time I am in the market for something new, I will definitely give Anthony a call!
I was in the store on a weekday at 11 AM . The Manager and Salesman Tommy were Respectful, knowledgeable. There was only a handful of customers in the store and yet, unfortunately, it took hours for me to complete my purchase and go. I can only imagine if the store was busy. Sadly, I was at the store with my six-year-old grandson for three hours to order two sets of furniture,that was a mistake that I made and that’s on me. I did offer to come back tomorrow alone and I was told “no no no Im sorry I’m gonna get you out of here” Still there another hour to complete the purchase. The manager and salesman were bouncing between customers as best they could it was certainly not a lack of effort on their part. The checkout process was about 40 minutes. 40 minutes of computer entries while other customers were waiting and waiting as I was. That is not a Management or Salesman problem that is a corporate problem. I cannot stress enough, how nice and apologetic these two employees were towards me. It was clear that they were aware of being stretched too thin.. I choose to not buy online when I can to support local businesses. However, in this situation, buying online would’ve only taking five minutes… Again, this is a Corporate problem that affects their employees and their loyal customers. I look forward to receiving my furniture. I am currently sitting on an Ashley leather sofa in my home that I purchased 12 years ago! No rips No tears NO PEELING “ LEATHER WHERE YOU SIT”. Ashley chooses well-made products for their customers and for that reason I will continue to shop at Ashley’s.

Buyer BEWARE I do quite a bit of post good bad etc. Ashley furniture is definitely not quality furniture. I purchased a dining set approximately 3 years ago along with their 5 year worry free experience platinum ultra premium warranty. So all of a sudden my chairs started sinking in when you sit in them there aren’t 300 pound or more people sitting in my chairs. So I called them and I wanted my chairs replaced actually cause for 1 quality doesn’t sink in 3 years and it wasn’t like I was sitting in them 24/7 Ashley says it’s an outside protection plan and they aren’t responsible well Ashley you sold me this plan. I have had the run around it’s definitely not worth it. So buyer please be aware and go to Raymour and Flanigan where you won’t only get quality built furniture they have their own warranty plan. I didn’t wanna leave such a horrible review but they forced me to for not taking ownership of their poorly made furniture. Also they don’t really have a corporate number for you to speak with a higher up they have a customer care number which they will tell you is their corporate number bad business. We all know that I only gave one star cause I had no choice. So this part is actually a Reply to the Reply I had gotten from a Nicole that works for Ashley I’m going to give her a 10 star she actually helped me tremendously and I received the cushions to replace the other ones for my chairs. Not all of Ashley is bad and she was definitely remarkable and I definitely would like to thank her and give her a 10 star

Mike , at Ashley in Lake Grove store made me feel so important , from the moment I walked in without even saying a word he smiled and let me know that when I was ready he was ready that was the biggest selling point. Once I sat down on the item that I was in there to buy from the second I saw it and sat on it , I talked to him and about anything other than furniture and then got to the furniture I knew if I even had to wait 1.5 months for the selection it was the selection I wanted and the gentleman that I wanted to buy it from. I also bought an original set i held back on for 5 months prior ! This experience and the fact i love their furniture and extended warranty service I will never go Elsewhere. My fiancée and I went to the Ashley store in Lake Grove to purchase a new sectional for our apartment. Upon pereusal of the store, we were approached by a sales associate named Mike. He was an absolute delight to work with! He helped us find exactly what we were looking for, made everything easy, and did a wonderful job explaining the process to us. All in all, it was a great experience purchasing our sectional here and we will consider coming back for furniture purchases in the future!

DO NOT SHOP AT ASHLEY FURNITURE. SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE. Bought a bedroom set (headboard, footboard, box spring and mattress) for $3,000.00. It was delivered on a Saturday, After sleeping on the mattress for just one night, felt such a huge discomfort with that mattress, I am now suffering from back issues. I called to have it exchanged on the second day when it was delivered. I was told the Ashley mattress don't have any return or exchange policy ( just keep in mind the sales person never mentioned this to me ). I pleaded with the manager DANIEL L. who offered as a one time courtesy to have me choose another mattress but there would be a 10% restocking fee and I will need to pay for delivery again. I said ok and it was agreed upon. I went to the store to choose another mattress which I was told I have to wait they don't have the approval yet. Next day I received another phone call from a different Manager URIEL R. who stated that the information was incorrect and that they don't have any return/exchange policy for the Ashley mattress and because it was already offered to me they are still willing to exchange the mattress but the restocking fee will not be 10% anymore but 40% instead. I am a returning customer and was planning on purchasing a sofa set. This company has loss me as a customer. They have no customer satisfaction and no conscience. I will figure out another way to make this mattress work for me, either purchase pillowtop etc but I refused to give this company any more of my money/business. DO NOT PURCHASE, THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS JUST WHAT THEY CAN GET FROM YOU.

He was very kind and greeted my boyfriend and i at the door and instead of being right on top of us he gave us space to bounce from couch to couch. Rather than bore anyone with long winded details, whatever they are paying "Tommy" is nowhere near enough. The level of professionalism and aptitude for his craft, is beyond reproach. From what I experience with him, he should be promoted to regional vice president immediately. The store as a whole was amazing and run the right way. Can't wait to visit again.

Phenomenal hospitality, we loved working with Tommy! He made us feel so comfortable the moment we walked in. Other staff were also friendly and funny! We also did not need the furniture right away but wanted to take advantage of the holiday deals and Tommy informed us of doing layaway and he was very flexible with our uncertainty of size we needed for our living room space. She listened to r whati wanted and when she needed help asked another coworker for assistance. I found something I liked and placed an order. Unfortunately when I went home I realized it did not match. When I called the store to cancel the order they were very understanding. I will definitely shop at this store again in the future
I called customer service and canceled the order after trying to get hold of the store for 2 days. They never pick up the phone. It is 3 days after I canceled the order and I still don’t have a refund

This company has no control of deliveries and will ignore you and steal your property without impunity. I purchased furniture and had to settle for a delivery 3 weeks later. The delivery people showed up and were rude, condescending and borderline violent. Acting unilaterally to take your property if they don’t like your response to their rudeness. I’ve bought from Bobs and Raymour and even Seaman’s years ago and never in my life experienced this type of poor business practice. I sure hope they realize that this will send their already struggling business into bankruptcy and I hope all others heed my warning and shop elsewhere. The prices are not better for sub standard treatment.
Terrible delivery service. People show up, are rude and make no effort to protect your stuff. Then get a nasty attitude and refuse to finish delivery. I’ll be returning this stuff and never buying from them again.
I was looking for a queen bed frame in grey/ distressed white with a head board no higher than 49 inches that could fit under a window ledge in my bedroom. It is very difficult to find one that low. Tommy showed me the queen bedroom set that was perfect for what I wanted. The model B255-96 panel rails. I also got the 6 drawer dresser with mirror and 2 drawer night stand. I am over the moon with my purchase. And the price was unbelievably great. I am so happy with my bedroom set and it will be delivered this Friday. Tommy is a really nice guy and great sense of humor. So glad I went there that evening and had Tommy as my sales representative! Loved the whole experience. I had fun too.
The staff was so welcoming but not overbearing like most salespeople in this industry. They were very helpful and walked around the whole store with us when we wanted them to and did not feel any pressure to buy. We were able to find the perfect couch, side table, and coffee table with the help of the knowledgeable staff member who assisted. Purchased a dining room set less then a year ago. The finish has come off on all different sections of the table. I took out the warranty and that’s not covered. What’s the point of the warranty then??? Ridiculous. Poor quality and worthless to purchase the protection plan. Beyond disappointed.

We ordered a custom carnaby and he worked with us (even a little after closing) to make sure all our questions were answered. Highly recommend this location because of Steve !

I have never shopped at Ashley Furniture before I always assumed that the prices were high, but a friend told me I was wrong. We were greeted by Mike who was very pleasant and knew what we were looking for immediately. During the whole process he was very patient and not pushy like some salesmen can be. We ended buying the bedroom furniture we went in for and found the perfect platform bed for my daughter which we ended up purchasing too. I highly recommend Mike and Ashley Furniture if you are looking for a pleasant experience.

Ashley furniture is the cheapest made product I’ve ever seen customer service non existent and the extended platinum warranty is a third party who has horrible service and you get pointed back to store and store points back to them it goes in circles I’ve had issues for months I kept getting told in the store this one was fired that one was let go I’ll help you then that person was fired then when my furniture has had issues 6 months after purchase on two separate occasions and several trips to store because you can’t call store directly your calls get forwarded to a call center that never calls back.Long story short the finish came off of my nightstand and my footboard chipped apart because it’s all balsa garbage with some kind of cheap finish I was assured was premium furniture by salesman . I was told it was normal ware and tear in 1 year of having furniture and when my wife tried to clean discolored area with a mild wood cleaner two large stains appeared and the bullet proof warranty company said they won’t cover it and Ashley told me pealing finish and discolored nightstands was normal wear and tear I had to call BBB first time to get results now i guess I have to call them again that’s the only way this company will service your product again worst cheapest made products which look nice in showroom save your money go to Macys amazing service Don’t Buy Ashley FURNITURE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Save your money much better quality out there for price.

This is a nice brand new store. The prices are average for a furniture store. The employees are helpful and not too pushy. They have a decent selection and variety and they now sell bedding. There is plenty of parking and the store and parking lot are wheelchair friendly.

We purchased a $4500 couch and was told by the salesman that it was 100% leather. The couch is pealing like pleather. We contacted corporate, they said it is privately owned. When we contact the store there is no answer. Email same response, nothing.
Had to tell you what a terrific experience my wife and I had at the Lake Grove store on 3/26/23. This was not only due to our ability to find a significant amount of furniture, bedding, etc but also due to the wonderful assistance from Scott Miller and Marcel Birthright. Had it not been for the excellent service afforded us by both these men, we may not have made the purchase we did. They answered all our questions and made the buying experience pleasurable. These men should be commended for their professionalism, not to mention their patience, as we were with them for over two hours. We are looking forward to receiving the items we purchased and hope that we will enjoy those as much as the our dealing with both Scott and Marcel.
Absolutely horrible customer service. Ashley Furniture delivered a sit to stand chair that’s motor broke with 30 minutes. They proceeded to take several weeks to have a technician to come out and determine the motor was faulty. 2 months later and our mother who has Alzheimer’s and significant difficulty standing up from a chair will have to wait another 2 weeks before the chair may be repaired. Ashley won’t replace the chair nor will they accept a return. Extremely disappointed with Ashley’s and their policies and how unwilling they were to sympathize. We will no longer consider purchasing products from Ashley’s.

Every time I come to this store I'm driven out real fast by the people working here. I walk in today, the guy at the front door immediately talks into his radio and I'm bombarded by a salesman in seconds. Why is buying furniture like buying a car? It's a huge turnoff and after a couple times of being approached by the salesman I'm out. Nobody like that experience Ashley. Get with it.
I had a fun time at Ashleys. Yes fun. No overbearing pushy salesmen who smell of mothballs and cheap breathe mints. No one following you around to hawk the latest commisioned item. This wasn't a dreary place that looks like some temporary fly by night converted warehouse. Nope. Not Ashley's. The place was classy and well laid out, crisp clean and spotless. Hell even the bathrooms were amazing. Jeff my advisor...cuz hey i need advising picking furniture let's face it... was awesome. Not pushy, friendly and really chill. Sam the finance manager was awesome, she basically sat there and did quantum equations on the computer to get me all the items i needed, within the time i needed it. Both of them deserve raises and bronze statues to them in the Hall of Awesome. All and all a great experience, with lots of laughs. I highly recommend going to Ashley's in Lake Grove.
I give these folks a lot of credit. They're professional and responsive. There's no pushiness or schlocking of bad inventory, they genuinely want to match you with your result, and they want to get it right so you come back. Can't argue with that!

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM HERE.they sell fake warranties and their warrenty company platinum warrenty refuses to cover anything. they fixed my armless sofa 3 times and because they screwed into the frame they compromised the structure now it's breaking. Ashley and platinum now after the third time say they won't replace the section because it's not covered through structure damage. which is strange since they worked on it 3 times already. i have all my original orders and all my other items are covered for structure damage just not this one. they are a scam and their furniture is shit. the do everything they can to scam people out of money. and I hope they go out of business, they don't deserve to be around.Samantha the manager on can apologize and did absolutely nothing. GO SOMEWHERE EISE for furniture.

He was extremely knowledgeable, showed us a wide range of options (explaining the differences), and helped us find exactly what we needed/wanted within our budget. He was extremely professional and attentive, also offering beverages to us a couple of times; we would definitely come back based on this experience.

Absolutely horrible. We bought couches back in August 2019. Bought the protection plan with it. The couch broke and we received a credit for one of the pieces of the set. We placed an order with Marcel in the Lake Grove location on January 29, 2023. He put the service contract on the new couch so we had to pay for that not a big deal. Told me my couch would be delivered on February 14, 2023. Ashley furniture called and scheduled delivery window for 10:15 to 2:15. Window came and went and no couch. I called to find out what happened. Our salesperson Marcel never scheduled the delivery of the couch. He scheduled the delivery of the service plan. So here we are old couches gone. And a days pay gone because I took off work to be home for the delivery. I called and the earliest I could get it scheduled for was Saturday. The manager in the Lake Grove location basically said there's nothing they can do. I strongly advise anyone from going through ashley furniture. Their quality is garbage, their employees are not knowledgeable, and their customer service is horrible.

I wish I can give 0 stars. The sales people there are liars especially when it comes to selling the warranties. The Warrenty services does not cover anything after an occurrence happens they are a scam and will never purchase anything from them ever again. I hope they go out of business because they are just robbing the customers.
Delivery service did an excellent job. After they left we noticed deep scratches on leather (not blemishes or smudge marks). I reached out to my sales person Marcel who didn’t take my call but when I texted he gave me a number to call customer service. Since it was just delivered I expected him to take care of it. Customer service had a ton of questions, wanted pictures and serial numbers under the couch. I was then told to send multiple pictures no commitment when they would fix the problem. Had a recent furniture issue from Bob’s, my sales person there took care of it and repair was made in 48 hours. Had previous issue with Ashley where the extended warranty wasn’t honored and was told they’re no longer doing business with the warranty company. I gave them a second chance, my bad.

Possibly the worst furniture purchase we have made. After two months the couch is falling apart and their “customer service” reps will do nothing to fix it . I would give Ashley zero stars if I could - i am disgusted by their awful customer service and crappy warranty

They were able to get a giant couch through our tiny Long Island doors. They’re the only furniture shop in the area that said it wouldn’t be a problem - and it wasn’t. Highly recommend. Great store with lots of samples. Dominic helped me. He introduced himself when I walked in, but thankfully allowed me to shop without hovering. He processed my order and offered many discounts with quick delivery. All around great experience right down to delivery. The guys who delivered were fast, neat and so professional. They removed all of the packaging and were so careful with my furniture. I highly recommend Ashley Furniture and especially their Lake Grove store.
My wife and I had a great experience at this store. We visited several times within several days and were helped by more then one person as a result. On all occasions, the professionals at the store were not overbearing nor imposing; they were present. In the end, we had Mike W. help us upfront in choosing our bed set with the kindest and utmost humbling Samantha helping us secure it and explaining all the details/options about the purchase and delivery. Update; We also ended up buying our couch from Ashley. Similarly , Mike W and this time a miss Jaya took terrific care of us. Jaya was honest with us on value for what were purchasing including the protection plan. Lastly, thus far, delivery has been spot on. We got several calls way prior to the date to confirm availability in addition to heads up calls on same say. The delivery men were careful, respectful and efficient. There was some minor damage made on stairs when delivering the heavy bed set but considering the grand scheme of things, it was nearly unavoidable and minor. Big thanks to everyone at Ashley!!

We were looking for a new couch. We first stopped at Ashley in Riverhead, worked with Catherine (who was lovely) and found a couch we liked but wanted to look at a couple of stores to be sure that was the couch! Once we checked the other stores, we decided the first couch would be the one we stopped at Ashley in Lake Grove as we wouldn't be able to return to Riverhead before closing. In Lake Grove we worked with Jeff who was fantastic; I explained our situation that we had worked with Catherine and wanted to be sure she got her credit for the sale. Jeff was very courteous and helped me finalize our sale exactly how I wanted it done. The staff we worked with at Lake Grove as a whole were super nice. Would recommend. Our couch was delivered today without issue and the delivery guys were also fantastic.

Went to Lake Grove store to shop on Black Friday, my wife and I were greeted by Dominic. After shopping around and finding the furniture we liked we asked Dom many questions, he was very knowledgeable with all the products and even helped us match different chairs with out dining room table. He was very kind, curious and professional throughout our whole experience. We went back the day to purchase everything but we were unsure about 1 piece, he let us into the store a little early because we were on a time crunch. We wound up purchasing a bedroom set, dining room set, and living room set, Dom made the whole experience so easy and smooth, highly recommend going to see Dom at the Lake Grove store.
Furniture was not delivered on time as per ordering, and it was only by chance that I figured this out. However, Dominic took care of it and got the back ordered pieces delivered the following week. He was a pleasure to work with. The loveseat did have some damage to it, which will require service or replacement. Mary said that she will send someone over but did not say when.
Very unhappy with the recliner I purchased it is uncomfortable and legs are too short when I call customer service they would not help me they were not accommodating and they would not do a return

Sold me a mattress protector and lied to me about the coverage on it. Got scammed out to be upcharged when I was already spending $5000 there. Buy your furniture somewhere else there's more reputable companies to work with.
We bought a couch, love seat, wingback chair, 2 rugs, and a tv console. The love seat came in damaged and was repair by Ashley ( near enough to original). BUT the worst thing was the sales person at Ashley committed what we consider fraud by misrepresenting their "Protect 5 year worry free experience" by saying we could get our furniture cleaned at any time. So 4 years later we wanted our furniture cleaned and were told we had to submit a separate request for each piece of furniture on-line with photographs and we have not heard from them in over a month. This service cost us $399.99 extra. STAY AWAY! STAY AWAY!!

WARNING: ASHLEYS FURNITURE IN LAKE GROVE IS A SCAM FURNITURE COMPANY. DONT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM. HERES THE STORY I purchased two pieces of Furniture, a couch and chair totaling about $4. BOTH pieces of furniture were delivered in a broken, defective and/or stained condition. The delivery men left saying they would have someone call to resolve issue but instead nothing happened. NOBODY CALLED. When I reached out to find out why my new furniture was something that looked like it came off the showroom clearance department I was told they would get someone here in over a week!!! They want to replace parts, fix the furniture in place. I expressed that I did not want repaired furniture. I was told that once it's accepted it's just too bad and that I basically have to suck it up. I will be reporting this to BBB and attorney general. Save yourself the headache. Do not buy from Ashley's. #ashleysfurniture

For the first time shopping at Ashley's home store will definitely not be my last. Every store I went into I was ambushed by three to four people that it became extremely overwhelming to the point I walked out. Also, every other store told me it was going to take months for my dining room table to come in. I was also settling at the other stores. Then i checked Ashley's and not one person ambushed me. They said good afternoon and if you need help let us know. And that's exactly what they did. Once I found the table I wanted i found someone to help and they made the process so easy and out of everywhere I went they were the most affordable and my tables real wood. I couldn't find a solid wood table anywhere. The guys who delivered the table were so friendly, neat and professional. I had a great experience and I'm looking forward to many family dinners at my new table.

Let's file this writeup in the category of "Things I never Thought I Would Review." I mean if anything, I'd probably think I'd be penning some negative words for a furniture store, especially after all the odd, awkward, and uncomfortable experiences my fiancée and I had prior. But no, my friends. Ashley Furniture Home Store of Lake Grove is the opposite of all those unfortunate things you often run into. They shine through as a true winner when looking to furnish the interior of your home (don't let the low Yelp score fool you!)Why? Well let's start with the variety of items available. Ashley balances their styles between modern/contemporary and a more rustic/farmhouse vibe to give you a nice range of furniture to choose from. I'll add in that the prices of their stuff is totally reasonable and probably falls in the middle tier of affordability for furniture (maybe even a little cheaper). Throw in quality that (to this point after a few months of owning our items) seems great and you've got a recipe for success. Though when you really stop and think about your experiences with furniture stores, one of the largest parts to it all is your interactions with the employees. My fiancée and I have quickly skimmed a store and bolted after being hounded, heckled, and followed by staff (even at other Ashley's!). But at Lake Grove, the people working here are exceptional. It's not just one of them. They're all a class act.Let's start with Marcel. He spent a good two hours with us going through bedroom sets, mattresses, payment plans, and even some living room furniture inquiries. The whole time it almost felt like I was talking to a friend who just happened to work at Ashley. Marcel is kind, informative, and honest with his sales tactics which makes you want to return. We did just that a second time a month later. Marcel happened to see us, remembered our names, and even though he was helping other customers, he said if we needed anything to let him know. Wow.You'd say it almost doesn't get better than that, but when we returned to Ashley a third time to finally purchase some living room furniture, we were helped by Patrick (Marcel's partner) and Jeff. Both gave us the same thoughtful attention that we encountered with Marcel. They spent plenty of time with us checking out different sofas and chairs and discussing options. Never did we feel pressured to buy anything. Patrick even took a pillow around from the living room set we wanted to help in matching colors that worked for what we were looking for with an accent chair. It was just another fabulous experience.Overall, Ashley Furniture Home Store of Lake Grove is so much more than the 2 1/2 stars on Yelp that it unfortunately has. It deserves the five star treatment because that's how you'll feel after interacting with this staff and finding some furniture that you'll really love (which we do!). Oh and one final tip: If/when they offer you water, coffee, or a chai latte, take the chai latte! It's delicious.

They keep sending tech to fix my furniture and still messed up nothing gets fixed correctly i paid extra cost to have it replaced and they give me all the excuses not to replace my furniture. Matt did an excellent job from greeting us at the door to helping us with what we told him our needs were. He also let us walk the store on our own after showing us some options with us which is always nice. All in all a great experience again at Ashley’s and with Matt’s help we will have our new kitchen table soon.

I normally do not leave negative reviews that are but this was the worst experience that I've had with furniture so I needed to say to people not to ever shop at Ashley home furniture. the couches that we purchased fell apart after a short period of time. We had purchased the extended warranty after many phone calls and emails they finally came and tried to repair the couches one they were able to but they did a terrible job staples sticking out sharp edges left. The 2nd one was too far gone to repair so they gave us a credit to replace the couch the problem is when they delivered the couch it came damaged It had a giant hole in the back the delivery guy quickly pushed it against the wall so my wife could not see the damage he definitely saw and hide the damaged area he stood by the couch so we couldn't move it to even look. By the time she realized that the hole was there they had already left we called it the delivery guy and he would not answer his phone they left in such a rush they left there cart in order to escape the seane of the crime. so I reached out the corporate asked them to please have them come back to take the damaged couch away they said that they would not come back and that they would send somebody to repair the couch. I explained to them that I did not want that since it was a brand new couch And the last time that they sent somebody to repair my couch they did a terrible job. She was very very rude and basically said well that's all we can do for you if you don't like it that's too bad. I asked to speak to the Manager she said she was the manager and there was nobody there higher than her I guess she was the CEO of Ashley? If you purchase anything from them make sure that you check every square inch the couch before the delivery guy leaves otherwise apparently you're just on your own. I would just never put yourself in the position that I have been stuck in by purchasing anything from them.so if do need furniture go anywhere but Ashley it has been the worst experience. I now had to contact a lawyer over this so this will be a very expensive purchase and also had lost a day of work to deal with them. Better off spending your hard earned money anywhere but here... BUYERS BEWARE if I could leave a negative star I would have. UPDATE, since I made this review I did have someone reach out to me to rectify the situation by replacing the couch. He was very professional and I will be changing my star rating as long as everything goes as he says by Wednesday. I did want to mention the people that worked in the store were also great, the problems I had were dilevery and customer service not the store itself.
I bought a dining room table 6 chairs and the buffet. The table is cracked down the middle Ashley will replace the table The buffet has so many things wrong with it. Ashley wants to replace the parts on the buffet They do not want to replace the buffet, only the dining table. They want to touch it up and replace the draws I want a new set It’s the Moriville line I do not recommend this business at all

I ordered a bed frame offline. The frame was very heavy and not that easy to put together just because of maneuverability and the tiny tools they give you. After about three hours the very last pieces to screw in were the center support beams. The parts were DEFECTIVE, the screw holes did not match up or allow for screws to be screwed in. I called customer service the next day, spent over an hour being placed on hold numerous times by two different reps. After they had both told me that my replacement parts order had been placed, I told them I had not received any email confirmation. They told me to just wait and that the parts may take up to 5-10 business days. Guess what, I still haven’t received a confirmation email (it is now 5 days later) so I guess dispute speaking to three people overall I will have to create my own custom support beams out of wood. I will never shop here again and I will be spreading the word about Ashley’s ripping me off!

Well, Ashley impressed me at Christmas time when 2 days before company arrived, a chair collapsed to my old dining room set, leaving me with a guest without a seat! I made a quick trip to Ashley and they set me up with table and chairs to replace the broken one. This is where the 2 stars come from. The good news was they could get the chairs for the set delivered to me in 2 days! That was perfect! The guests would have a place to sit! Fantastic! But what about the table! Ah, that's the bad news! You see Ashley would have to construct the table! We wouldn't get the table before February! So that explains why the stars dropped to 2, since I have the chairs, and no table yet for this set! If the table shows up in the next 10 days, the number of stars will increase, but if it doesn't, well you will all get to see what happens in March. I will fill you in when this story ends and you all can judge for yourselves how good Ashley can be.

Very disappointed. I ordered a dining room over the phone, and it came with a dent in the table! I emailed Ashley's customer service the same day and they stopped responding, I called again and nothing. Its been three weeks and I still haven't had any luck getting a replacement!
Shortly after entering the store I was greeted by Jeff. He was most attentive to my needs and was very helpful not pushy (very important to me) long story short. I purchased the recliner that I had been looking for and a small rug (the reason I initially went into the store. Highly recommend highly satisfied.
If I could give 0 I would! This place it’s ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS . The stuff is HORRIBLE , rude and non professional . I placed an order of TWO bedroom sets for a total of $8K middle of November , delivery was expected to be December 1st . On December 14th I received my delivery and guess what ? The order for the master bedroom was messed up . How can you put an order in for a bedroom set with no foot board?! Tried to call , went to the store I don’t know how many times .. you know how they fixed the issue ? A they gave me a spring box for free ? Like , really ? What am I supposed to do with a box spring when I’m paying for a bed and I’m not sleeping on it ?! Today it’s February 1st 2022 , I called again since I was expecting the delivery for the foot board this coming Friday and guess what ? They are still waiting for it . FIRST AND LAST TIME ORDERING FROM THIS STORE. STAY AWAY!!!!!!
On Sunday 1/23/2022 my wife and I visited Ashley HomeStore looking for a new living room set, we had been looking in other stores and online for a couple of weeks and found something we were interested in. We saw that Ashley carried the items we were interested in so we went in. Right away we liked the place because we weren't attacked at the door like many other places. When we finally asked for help we had the privilege of meeting Dominick Crafa. Dominick took all the time we needed to to make sure everything was worked out to our satisfaction giving us every possible choice he could. We haven't received the items yet but do not anticipate any problems. I give Ashley and Dominick 5 Stars.
We have a very nice experience today and the store the sale person Mark was very nice and helpful and because of him we purchased a nice dining table with eight chairs so we’re going to recommend this store to everybody we know and we hope to be happy with the purchase today.

We are completely frustrated and NOT satisfied at ALL in dealing with Ashley Furniture and their "Warranty" company... we purchased a rather expensive dining set just 2 years ago... we purchased the insurance to go with it.... welp... 2 years in and one of our armchairs completely broke... the wood in the seat detached from the frame, and to add insult to injury , our other armchair.... half of the decorative tacks fell out along the front edge...disappointed. This was from regular use... its COVID ...we have had literally NO COMPANY / NO FAMILY PARTIES! Called Ashley to check in on how to make a claim...they sent me to 5starservice.net... OK claim was put in for both chairs...i get a letter (from a company by a compltly different name "Platinum Services") stating the one with "missing pieces" is NOT covered.... WHAT??? But the other chair that is broken is covered for a full replacement... the letter also states I would need to head to New Jersey (we live in Suffolk County Long Island) to get it and we'd have to actually go there to "redeem" the credit!??? WHAT... so I call Ashley's customer services to see if this is accurate because the CS reps at the warranty company are rude and have ZERO answers for me. Welp, after several attempts to get someone on the phone from Ashley who knew how to handle this...turns out my chairs are NOT in stock at my local store, or in the NJ location i was told to go... and are discontinued so after paying for repair insurance we're S#!T out of luck I guess... WOW, what a rip off. THOUSANDS spent on a set that is just 2 years old and we're getting the run around to get a repair / replacement! NOT good business at all! NEVER purchasing from Ashley's again and letting all our family and friends know it too!

So disappointed with the two items I purchased. Within two months of buying the pieces they each had issues. The first item was denied any protection (so glad for the protection plans) since it was stated issues were due to wear and tear. So I guess Ashley’s quality does not hold up past two months. The second piece was approved to be repaired and is awaiting hardware to attach one of the doors. For over 3 months I have been getting emails that the part still hasn’t shipped. After speaking to customer service and I was told they can’t see into the future about when the parts will be shipped and there is nothing that can be done except wait. I’m so annoyed that each of my new pieces are broken! Avoid purchasing from Ashley. It’s not worth it.

Shopped at the Lake Grove location. The sales person that we worked with was Jeff P. He was very pleasant, courteous, and attentive to our questions. Totally professional. He answered all of our questions promptly and we did not feel rushed at all! He did not hover around and instead allowed space and time for private discussion. He actually encouraged browsing around and explained the differences and similarities between items in which we were interested. We did make a purchase and Jeff provided detailed explanation of what to expect at time of delivery.

The sectional couch we chose was able to be delivered quickly (ordered on a Saturday and delivered Wednesday morning). I've never seen such invasive employees ,from the second we walked in we were hit with multiple questions as to what we were looking for,we just wanted to look around ,I'm not exaggerating when I say every 4 minutes the same employee came over and asked us more questions and tried to sell us on whatever we glanced at ,after 10 minutes a second employee did the same song and dance,even when we told them repeatedly we don't need help we just want to look. they kept circling us liking vultures ,after about 15 minutes and 7 conversations with employees we left I've never had a store actually scare away customers inside.

Delivery wasn't as smooth as I would like, mainly because I wasn't made aware that some of our items wouldn't be delivered until the next day. I was informed at time of delivery.
Bought a Leather Sofa and Love Seat Recliner set 3 years ago. Spent $3000 plus an extended protection package. Well after 3 years we started noticing wear in the leather in numerous spots. We contacted the Platinum protection company and was denied because they said it wasn't covered. Well to make a long story short, after going back and forth with Ashely’s customer service people, they issued us a store credit of $589 for the sofa and $589 for the recliner set. A store credit is only good for what they have in the store and it is only good for 2 weeks. Well 2 weeks came and went. They expected us to go and buy a new set where it will cost us at least $2000 out of pocket because the protection that we purchased denied the repairs. What a RACKET! We will never purchase from Ashely's again and I highly recommend NOT purchasing the protection upgrade. Its all a SCAM and the Ashley sales people and management know it is. They should be ashamed of themselves especially during these times. So now we sit on a 3 year old worn out leather couch.
If your ever in the lake grove area in Long Island. Go see Dana joy from Ashley’s furniture store. She was so amazing and patient. Best of all she wasn’t a pushy sales person. She tended to all our needs and answered all our question. With out a doubt one of the best if not THE Best saleswoman. I’ve been to a lot of furniture stores and just happen to drive by Ashley’s furniture. If it wasn’t for my wife bothering me to check out the store I would of kept driving by. So I decided to give my wife the benefit of the doubt and see what they had to offer. I was blown away the moment I walked in. Everything inside the store and the layout of the furniture was amazing. I can’t wait to buy future things from this store.

My husband and I went to the Lake Grove Ashley’s and we were pleasantly surprised at our experience there. It was Labor Day weekend it was busy we approached a sales associate named Dana B. who was busy at the time she asked if we can give her a few minutes, within minutes she was available. Dana was extremely helpful not pushy at all. She asked us all the right questions and helped us pick out the perfect couch , side table and outdoor couch. When it was time for my husband and I to discuss the purchase/pricing she politely excuse herself and gave us the time we needed to decide without hovering over us. My husband and I discovered that prices were cheaper online and they adjusted the prices right away. Dana was a pleasure to deal with and new our style within a few minutes of meeting us I would highly recommend dealing with Dana if you need anything from Ashley’s.
By far the worst delivery experience of my life. Was supposed to have my bed and mattress delivered this past weekend. We got the mattress and base yesterday, the wrong headboard was sent so they left us with just the mattress and base and told us they’d need to reschedule the headboard and rest of bed frame. I have half of a bed in my home, was told they’d hold the next Friday for us and now told again no dates available until the 25th. I will never purchase from them again. Update: they said they would squeeze me in to deliver my headboard today. I adjusted my work schedule to be able to be here and they delivered more pieces with no assembly because the last delivery either threw out or took the screws. I am not told I will have to wait even LONGER to get the screws (customer service told me it’ll take weeks to just get the screws) in which I will have to then call again for another tech to come. This place needs a serious overhaul. I will make sure to tell everyone I know of this experience.

Our couch less then a year old bought Dec 2019 and by Nov 2020 was breaking and our coffee table was scratched we called customer service they then said we will order the piece for the coffee table and when it arrives they will send a tech to inspect the couch to get fixed—I kid you not 5 months and 6 phone calls later the coffee table part arrived. In May the tech comes, couch is clearly broken TECH CONFIRMED it’s because Ashley furniture is held together by STAPLES not screws so it’s bound to break sometime quickly after purchase. He ordered a new piece of fabric and said call when it arrives and we will fix the frame and take the fabric off and check the inside then since it’s clearly broken as well. July, the tech comes and the fabric they sent was literally gashed across the from so he couldn’t take off the old fabric to inspect and fix inside of the couch. He ordered new fabric and said again call and we will come and finish work. I have called and been hung up on 4 different times, they are now saying it’s over the time frame and the ticket is closed and won’t come fix our broken couch….but the reason it’s over the time frame is because of them not having good customer service…they literally REFUSED to send a tech to the house for the couch until the coffee table cover came and now are saying that’s why it’s expired and they should have opened it under a different ticket, so they didn’t open it right but it’s the customers fault?? Literally a sham! DO NOT BUY HERE!!!! They are swindlers—we even bought the extra protection plan they convinced us on and when I went to them because of this absurd issue they won’t fix it either because we didn’t report damage soon enough….well how could we report damage Ashley said they were handling???? The furniture sucks! Literally staples holding it together cheap cheap cheap! Do yourself a favor and go to Raymond and Flannigan’s may be a little more $$ but after this experience I can honestly say it would have been worth it to not have to deal with this atrocious company! This company will sell you very poorly made furniture for way more than they should be and in addition will sell you a $300 protection plan that "will cover everything", so your experience is "worry-free"......Only problem, like with any other warranty, is that there are exclusions and loopholes so the company does not in fact need to make good on the warranty at all!! 8 issues/claims with our furniture......6 of them major things and yet only two are "covered"!? Shame on you, Ashley furniture!

so i had a couple couches delivered from Ashley HomeStore back in january of 2021, the two young gentleman that delivered brought in the furniture then one asked to use the bathroom. without hesitation i told the kid that’s fine, they then finished the delivery and left. about an hour later my daughter goes to use the bathroom and the room is completely flooded, toilet clogged and overflowing all over. ruined all furniture, flooring, sheetrock, soaked directly through subfloor and gallons of water into my basement. DISGUSTING! great, now the bathroom needs a full demo, NOTHING is useable especially in a time where covid is running rampant. i then get on the phone to Ashleyhomestore who proceed to apologize and send me off to their claims department in promises of this situation getting figured out. NO LUCK AS OF YET, i have been dealing with claims and the delivery companies insurance handler who claim that their insured will not contact them back about the matter and that nothing can be done until contact. this is now 6 months after the fact, i have a destroyed room in my house and absolutely no progress on anything getting fixed. at this point actions are going to need to be taken, i expect to hear a response as to what the plans are to resolve this situation. the BBB will be involved.
Although there was miscommunication/issues with my initial order placed with Ashley Furniture in Lake Grove, Austin from the online team reached out to me to resolve the issue after the review I wrote on Google. Austin was able to get in contact with the warehouse & supply chain team to ensure the couch I wanted would be delivered as soon as possible to my new place of residence. I was very pleased with Austin since he provided me with constant updates/prompt responses. I appreciate all that he has done! My sofa/ottoman has officially arrived today. I am looking forward to having friends/family stay over our place now!

Today I worked with Dominic one of the sales associates at this location. He was not only extremely helpful but I could tell he genuinely cared about helping me get the right piece of furniture that I am not only happy with but fits well in my apartment as well. I decided on a liftable top cocktail table for my living room, Not only was it in stock but it will be delivered in only four days! Especially in today's day and age when backorder and things being out of stock is commonplace it was extremely refreshing to be able to find something like this. If you are having difficulty at other major Furniture retailers I would definitely suggest visiting this Ashley Home store location you will not regret it!
I had a pleasurable experience with Sales Associate named Dan. I purchased an outdoor seating area. Before I actually purchased the set I went home to make sure it would fit on our patio. While on Ashley's website to double check the dimensions I noticed an additional Memorial Day discount. When I went back to make the purchase I mentioned the discount and he immediately applied it. I would give Dan 5 stars but I'm going to wait for delivery, which was promised next week. I will update after delivery is made when promised. Delivery made today 6/11 when promised. The set is awesome! Delivery guys were professional! I have added the 5th 🌟

This is the worst furniture store to deal with. They show you furniture that looks one way and is delivered in entirely different condition. We ordered several rooms worth of furniture. Almost every piece came cracked or broken. Dealing with their repair people has been a nightmare. They do not honor their five year warranty for which we paid extra for. Their customer service is the worst. They fail to document conversations and then claim that we never mentioned the damages. We have better things to doThen deal with this furniture store. The people in the show room can I help you once you have placed your order and you are left to deal with some office in New Jersey that claims they have no information about the damages. They make appointments for service people to come to the house and then no one shows up. We wasted five hours waiting for someone who never showed up on several occasions. We will be placing complaints with the division of consumer affairs for the state of New York.
This was my second purchase from the Ashleys store in Lake Grove! I previously order a sleigh bed frame and absolutely love it! I also think the world of our salesman Jeffrey- he is honest, helpful and patient. Definitely recommend this store

I would never recommend Ashley. Our purchase has been a disaster. Told 4-6 weeks for delivery. Finally received the last piece 4 months later and every piece is damaged. The customer service is horrible and every person in the store knows it and told me so. I have gone back to the store numerous times and they are unable to rectify the situation because once you purchase and leave the store you are at the mercy or their horrible customer support.
As new home owners my husband and I were excited to buy furniture at this store in Lakegrove. But all I can say is that it was a terrible experience shopping there. The sales rep Laura had a disgusting attitude and acted like she was doing us a favor by rushing us to purchase a bed. My husband and I purchased the bed and decided that we needed to cancel the order and when we went to the store and spoke to Laura she walked away and sent someone else over and it was extremely rude.
I wish there was a way to give this 0 stars because one star is too much for the type of customer service I have received I went a placed a large order a whole sectional and a bedroom set they was unable to give me a delivery date for the sectional which I purchased paid in full cash on 2/09/2021 when I finally get a delivery date for only 2 pieces of the sectional when is a 6 piece sectional they tell me the rest of the items are on back order and They can’t give me a delivery date at all the store was supposed to contact me to let me know my item was in back order and no one ever did trying to get In contact with them was a complete and total nightmare I’m so upset when I try to reach the store no one answered me I had to drive there to see what was going on and their answer was they didn’t know my sales person Marcel completely ignored me and refused to help me with anything the customer service young ladies on the other hand where very apologetic and eager to help me find a solution thanks to Hannah and her coworker they was able to cancel my order and hopefully I get a refund soon the manager in this store not once offered any type of assistance. Solution or help at all didn’t even acknowledge the issue at all he was to busy making sure the staff didn’t socialize with one another instead of fixing a customer issue

Purchased Mattress etc from local store but can't contact local store...deliveries screwed up! 5 wks delivery NA charge me for delivery one was supposed to be no charge and they said sorry we forgot to call me for delivery.. so they tell me you can go pick it up in Jersey when I live on Long Island! So had to take A-day off of work 5wks later to get it!! SO Unacceptable!! Customer service not helpful tell me they have the contact local store. And you're not able to contact a local store yourself..I do not recommend buying from Ashley!! Unless you want a wait 2 months and lose money to get your stuff!!
My wife and I found a sectional that we liked at Ashley furniture in Lake Grove. We went to near by stores to shop around and found the exact same sectional for $300 dollars cheaper. We went back to the Lake Grove store to see if we really liked it because the other store did not have it on display. We spoke with the salesperson who helped us earlier and asked if they could match the price we found it for at the other store. They couldn’t and what really made the deal fall apart was a snide remark and scare tactics used by the store manager Mitchell Reich who was called over by the salesperson to try and give us an additional 5% off. They lost the sale and a customer for $100!

I would never recommend this furniture or the store itself (Lake Grove, NY), to anyone seeking to buy furniture. The only reason there is one star above is because I couldn’t write a review without putting one in. The furniture set I purchased on 10/20 (Belcampo) started to creak and sink on the third day after delivery! Every call I made to Customer Service, the store, the store manager (Mitchell), the salesperson (Stevi) was rebuffed or met with a no return policy or a rude reply. Who would want a replacement for faulty furniture? Terrible product, terrible customer service (if it can be called that) and terrible representatives. BUYER BEWARE - DO NOT BUY ASHLEY FURNITURE! COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY, TIME AND EFFORT.
Store is clean and noticed all staff wearing masks limited people in store and cleaning going on even as were shopping Friendly staff respectful of distancing but still there to answer questions and help if needed

Sales was great. My problem is with the installation. Lasted 5 days before my bed fell apart 2am in the morning because they didn't use the right hardware. Then trying to get in touch with corporate is an impossibility. Take your business elsewhere
Every moment in store was amazing. The salespersons, Mike and Ariyanna, and manger, Mitch, were wonderful to work with. They all took their time and did not pressure me and my partner to purchase anything until we were 100% sure of what we wanted. Everyone was very knowledgeable and courteous through the entire experience. Would definitely recommend their Lake Grove store! 10 out of 10!
We just received our couch from the Ashley Home Store in Lake Grove. We originally ordered a sectional from a catalog because they didn't have it in the store. Unfortunately, we didn't realize when we ordered, that it wouldn't fit in our living room. The delivery people took it back, and we went to the store again to find another sectional. Dani, our sales girl was amazing, and very personable. The experience was great right from the start....even with the mistake we made. The delivery men were awesome as well. It snowed , and unfortunately, we live on a hill. The truck got stuck at the bottom of the hill, and they walked the pieces up the hill to our house! I will definitely go to this store again in the future. I will ask for Dani as well. I can't say enough nice things about my experience!

Worst customer service I have ever received. I work in customer service and I would lose my job immediately if I provided our customers with the type of service that was give to me. To make a long story short I was interested in purchasing a couch. No one explained throughly the terms of the program they were signing me up for. After they signed me up they gave me a paper with the terms and conditions. When I was reading it I noticed a few things off. I started to question exactly what I had to do and the lady did not like that. She told me it was a bi-weekly payment and that I had to pay it off in full in 3 months. I understood but the numbers were not adding up and I would of had to pay almost $2500.00 for a $799.00 couch. She kept yelling at me “YOU’RE PAYING $53 BI-WEEKLY”. I give you my word I’m not exaggerating. But paying the $53 bi-weekly in 3 months would not pay it off and again I would have to pay $2500.00 for the couch. Her answer was well make more payments and pay it off in 3 months so you only pay $799.00. I was so sick to my stomach the way she yelled at me and did not listen to anything I was saying. I told her to forget it that I will not be purchasing anything and her answer was “well you’re already enrolled in the program.” I said can you cancel it. She told me I need to call the program and cancel it myself. I asked her for the number and she literally walked away from me, my 65 year old mother had to find the pamphlet with the number on it. Most important I got into my car to call and cancel and the lady asked me why they did not cancel it in the store that it was wrong for them to make me go through this process. Terrible people, bad attitudes, and extremely unprofessional. For me to take time out of my day to even write a review, it’s truly important because I’ve never wrote a review until now. I know a great deal of people becoming first time home owners and I will tell each and every one to stay clear of this place as well as my many friends and customers at work.

I came in to look at sofas and my sales rep was Henry, he greeted with a big smile and listened to and took into account what i was looking for and showed me what fit that exact criteria. He was patient with me and did not rush me or push me. I left with a few options and came back in the afternoon with my family and together we made the final pick. He spent a very good amount of time with us including my kiddos. We also worked with Mike he was very helpful and informative, overall the staff all worked together and the store was very tidy and well maintained by all as I observed some reps fluffing pillows and placing items back in their correct places. (lots of team work that is so needed during these times.)
Quality furniture at a reasonable price and so much selection. Marcel our salesman was extremely knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. He didn't put any pressure on us and answered all our questions. Also Mitch the manager was a very big help and a pleasure. Great experience!!

We ordered a couch and ottoman on September 7 2020.it is now November 16th and still nothing! I finally called at the beginning of november , 1st they couldnt find my order and then was told it was backordered! You would think that the salesman would have called...NOPE. I went into the store and was told due to covid, I said they told me on the phone it was backordered?!?! I was then told basically tough.they MIGHT get it to me in december.we have thanksgiving and no place to sit for 4 months! Called today still waiting for a call back.the salesman was rude, got into a political conversation.we are turning our whole house and I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN. OH AND STILL NO FOLLOW UP CALL FROM THE SALESMAN.SO THERE MOTTO IS IF YOU PAID IN FULL AT TIME OF PURCHASE YOUR A FOOL

The salesman were ok, but one of them forgot to call me back when he said he would check something and then get right back to me. Then delivery took a month and two weeks longer than they said which was a month, so we waited two and a half months. We only had 1 choice for delivery date if not we would have had to wait another 3 weeks. Overall not happy. Hoping couch comes and is in good shape.

Don't let anyone tell you differently, moving is not fun, and shopping in the time of Covid is -- well, let's just say that I liken it to hearing nails dragged across the surface of a blackboard. I went to countless furniture stores and got the same story. Long waiting periods for delivery, and frankly, so called "sales" that I didn't consider to be sales, but welcome to the 21st century. Ashley Furniture was one of the stores I hit, not expecting much, but went in anyway. I was greeted by a friendly "Stevie" who made me feel right at home. She knew I wanted to look around on my own, and after she gave me the navigation of the store, she asked if she could offer me water, coffee, tea, or hot chocolate, and said she'd check with me in a few minutes. Stevie shared many ideas on how I could set up my bedroom, living room, and dining room which I appreciated because this was good information and it was free! Her focus was on me and she answered every question I had -- this was totally unexpected. Needless to say, she showed me sets that I think have great potential, and I will be back to purchase with Stevie after I close on the new house. She changed the way I feel about sales people, or at least I know there are some who are truly talented people, and she's one of them.
We had the pleasure of working with Jeff, even through the pandemic he was always in touch with us keeping us informed every step of the way. Very personable, professional and knowledgeable. It took longer than expected, i have to say I was in a panic -But I am Beyond pleased with the rooms I purchased and the customer service we received. . We now Need to furnish our basement and will definitely make it a point to deal with Jeff.
If I could give 0 stars I would. Purchased a 3500 dollar sectional with power recliners about 8 years ago with the durablend leather and rarely use it. 5 years after purchase, its starts peeling, I contact Ashley furniture and am told someone will get back to me. NEVER DID. 8 years now and look at it. NEVER BUY THIS POS. Search Ashley durablend complaints on the internet and you will see what I mean. Horrible product and horrendous Customer Service. SEE PHOTOS. The little flakes that peel off will actually stick to your clothes and anything else that comes into contact with. Can't even sit on it.
If you want to pay a $100 delivery fee for the delivery guys to damage your furniture this is the place for you! They cracked our table in 3 places putting it together. Took 3 days and multiple phone calls to get a response from customer service to be told they can send a tech in a MONTH! So now we need to wait for a tech to come to state the obvious that they will need to send a new table. Ridiculous how you can pay so much and be given the run around.

Horrible trying to get in touch with customer service,when you do after hours of trying you get no where..I was expecting my full order and they came with 2 pieces missing which I was never informed of,had to drive to lake grove store only way to get a hold of someone.victoria was patient with me when purchasing the furniture and very helpful when I went in explaining my situation.
DO NOT BUY FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE. We order a ton of furniture from this store in July. I’m talking over $10,000. We are still missing a piece that we ordered. Two of the pieces that were delivered have issues that we have called about several times and sent pictures. You would expect this from a cheap furniture store or if you buy something used but for a brand new $3000 couch to be missing piece and it not be addressed by the company it is an issue. Also one of the dinning room chair rocks because the legs aren’t the same length. Ashley has done nothing to help and keep blowing us off. Not to mention the in store price for items is way higher than the online price. Shame on you guys for not taking care of your customers.

Mike at the Ashley’s furniture store in Lake Grove was awesome! He was so helpful and pleasant and made our shopping enjoyable. After spending hours shopping other stores, we wished we went here first. They matched their online pricing and made the whole day worth it. Ashley Furniture was the only store that could deliver a couch within a week, after trying Bob's and Raymour. Shipping is very delayed due to Covid. However, the reason I was able to get a couch so quickly with Ashley was because I went with a discontinued model that they had in stock. There was no floor model so I wasn't able to try or see it before ordering. The sales rep did a great job showing me other similar couches on the floor for material, color, and feel. Word to the wise: don't take their word for it when it comes to style. I'll be the first to admit that I don't have a good sense when it comes to color. The ottoman I purchased was a floor model that wasn't part of the couch set. The rep told me that they think it will match great with the couch. It doesn't Ashley's return/exchange policy is basically that there are none, so I'm stuck with it. While I understand that this is typical for other furniture stores, it certainly doesn't set Ashley apart from anyone else.

We had an amazing experience with Stevi Starr last weekend! It was by far the BEST in-store experience we ever had! Stevi was so patient, polite and honest while assisting us by providing valuable information, understanding the customer needs and offering options without being 'pushy'. We felt so comfortable working with her, the type of professional you feel you can trust. I definitely recommend her work!

The staff has to literally be up your butt the entire time watching your every move, just catering to you completely. We told her we were only looking for mattresses, so she assisted us by getting Dawn. Dawn had been with a customer at the time but she kept us company, offered us Mimosas, Coffee or Hot Coco and we chatted until she came. It was perfectly fine. We were just laying on the variety of beds they had.The main reason for buying a bed was back problems, and only looking to spend maybe a little over a grand or two. Dawn came along and sat with us on different beds that would be best. Stevie was there as well along with us the whole time. They were extremely professional and personalities are so fit for a sales job. Dawn told us ALL about the beds, even stated that she went to a &"mattress&" school they send her to - which I can tell.We ended up spending TRIPLE of what we wanted. They did have a sale, no interest for 5 years. That was kind of an amazing deal. They had that on all their furniture. They did have next day delivery to only certain towns on LI. They stated that their warehouse was in Jersey, so if you wanted to pick it up, it would be located there. My Girlfriend and I came to Ashley today to find a new bedroom set. While we weren't able to find anything we loved Ronnie D. a sales assosiate spent a ton of time with us and absolutely killed it in the customer service department. He went out of his way to show us the differences and similarities in each set and even priced us out in serval sets to see what we'd be paying. He was by far the best sales associate we saw all day and we will be shopping at Ashley again for our couch in a few weeks because of him!
Worst customer service from any company I’ve done business with. My issue has been going on for months with still no solution. Every associate or customer sales person (if you can actually get one on the phone) tells a different story and none of them are true. Delivery dates have come on gone several times and still no couches, which are the second set we had to get due to Ashley’s mistakes and poor customer service with the first ones. I can understand unexpected delays or mistakes, I cannot tolerate blatant lies. Never again will I use or recommend this horrific company.

The coffee table that we ordered was delivered on time by polite drivers. As soon as they left, we noticed that the table was full of drilled holes; 13 on the top and 18 further down. It is impossible to reach customer service; the wait time exceed 1 1/2 hours. I have alerted the credit card company to dispute the charge. What a lot of aggravation.
Whatever you do, DO NOT PURCHASE THE EXTENDED WARRANTY, it does not cover much and it's a total waste of money. We had purchased a dining table and had the 5 year ext. warranty. We noticed that beneath the table where the built in leaf folded under, there was split piece of wood rail through the middle of the rail. It was an imperfection in the would grain. We called the store and they told us the warranty was a third party and good luck trying to get them to cover it. After 14 calls, yes 14, the 3rd party continued to refuse the repair and stopped taking my calls. When we called the store, they said there was nothing they could do about it.
If you want damaged furniture, horrible customer service and to be completely frustrated with a company - this is your place! (Disclaimer - I could not find a way to write a review for the Ashley Website and not the actual store but I needed to get this out some how). We ordered new bedroom furniture and 4 of the 5 items we ordered were damaged. I cannot get one reliable person online to help resolve this. Their website does not work as in you cannot see your order history or track shipments (especially replacements). Would not order from them again.

Initial purchase went well. But about 10 months into owning the couch and chair the fabrics began to wear. I had called the warranty company and they told me to go through the 1 year manufacturers warranty. After attempting to put in my claim with Ashley I hadn’t received a call or email in over a month so I had called back and they cancelled my claim. After making my second claim I was told that within 72 hours I should receive notice on the actions to take but after a week no notice. When I finally called they told me the wear from me sitting on the couch isn’t manufacturer defect and to go through the warranty company they had offered. When I had called the warranty company they denied my request saying it was manufacturers defect. Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced and their product quality is even worse. I’d be ashamed to sell a product like this.

They have to call the store for me. When I got the store on the phone all she said she can do is cancel the order and refund my money. Carlie was great! We bought a sofa and a couch from her. We shopped for months and were unable to find exactly what we were looking for. She helped us on multiple visits and was able to explain the benefits of different pieces within the showroom. She was very knowledgeable about the inventory and online order options. I highly recommend working with Carlie and buying from this store.

DO NOT PURCHASE FURNITURE FROM ASHLEYS FURNITURE. Do your self a favor and just google reviews, they all say the same thing. I purchased a very expensive wall unit that was assembled incorrectly and we did not notice until one of the farm doors almost fell on my 5 year old. We have been trying for over a month to get someone to come and correct with no luck. First they say the peices that are needed are shipped from overseas, then they say it takes an average of 4 weeks to get it shipped to us but still nothing has been resolved and we are going on 2 months. Furthermore, once you receive the missing tools they will then schedule a tech to visit. I tried calling Beverly the customer representative who I purchased the furniture from at the store who was extremely pleasant during my purchase to only find out that she lost memory very quickly of who we are and expressed how she couldn't be of any help. Find it funny as she was very quick to remember me when she wanted a review. So here you are Beverly, here's my review. Go to another store you would think that because they are so expensive you would receive great quality. $3000 unit that cant be used. Awesome

She was able to find 2 velvety, perfect sized, comfortable chairs on the website. They are a great price. She was more concerned that I found what I was looking for than her pocketbook. I typically don’t spend time writing reviews, but after my recent experience at the Lake Grove location I had no other choice. I recently visited the store in search of a sectional couch. I was immediately approached by a sales representative named Shannon T, (yes- I took the time to ask, as I would never want a negative review to be generalized to an entire store). Shannon consistently interrupted my husband and I mid sentence. Her tone of voice was condescending and avoided making eye-contact throughout our visit. She refused to show us products in the medial to upper price range, despite numerous requests. It is without a doubt that my husband and I will never feel comfortable stepping foot inside of an establishment willing to allow someone to represent their company with such little training.
I purchase a coffee table from lake grove Long Island New York location when purchasing they told me when it arrives if you don’t like it you can send it back for delivery charge of $80 when it arrived I asked delivery guys if I could take a photo to send to my wife to see if she liked it they told me I have 72 hours to return to store I corrected him and told him what store said he insisted while fumbling through his phone looking for return policy I tried to call store but you are only able to contact corporate office and stayed on hold for long time the delivery guy said don’t worry sighn his phone just seemed like he just wanted to leave when finally getting through to corporate they said delivery man never should have told me that and she was sorry all sales are final how shady is that I’m stuck with coffee table and end table we don’t care for

I ordered a bed set in Nov 12ishthe guy gave me a heads up that its on backorder, so it wouldn’t arrive until Jan 11. He assured me how “on top of everything he was”, and I would hear from them the week of, and if any dates would change. January comes, and I haven’t heard a peep from anyone. It took forever and a day to get an answer of the ETA, which was now Feb. 27. I asked the manager (Samantha I think) if anyone had this bed set, she said she’ll get back to me right away. 2 days go by and nothing. When I tried calling back, she wasn’t in. I had to call every nearby Ashley’s myself. As February approaches, I am hoping to hear some type of confirmation! I would like comfort knowing that Ashleys still knows I exist.

I had purchased a dining set for nearly $2000 in early November 2019, but most pieces were delivered damaged. I have yet to have all pieces replaced. The table and server were finally replaced after several phone calls with customer service staff who lied to me about not being able to get a manager on the phone to help resolve my problems. The backs of 2 chairs had to be ordered, and once delivered I was to call to schedule someone to replace the damaged parts. However, one of the replacement parts for a chair was also damaged. I initially contacted the salesperson in Lake Grove who has not helped. No one contacted me to address anything until I wrote a bad review. And now, to add insult to injury, I got a call from someone at @AshleyHomestore offering to take 10% off the cost of the damaged chairs if I just keep the damaged chairs. What kind of company would make an offer not to replace damaged goods they delivered to a paying customer? And a pathetic offer at that. This is the worst transaction I have ever had the misfortune to be part of.

My boyfriend and I were recently purchasing some furniture for our new apartment. Ashley HomeStore was the nicest of all the nearby furniture stores, but more importantly Brett made our experience so nice and stress free! We were nervous about encountering salespeople but Brett wasn’t pushy AT ALL and he really helped us narrow down what we were looking for. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE, Please folks, beware of this company, ASHLEYS especially the assistant manager MARCEL. so rude the employees laughed in my face when i told them the issues with furniture and refused to help me whatsoever. they will steal your money in return for FAULTY furniture and pretend they care about you just to make a sale and then avoid you so they dont have to warranty it. I spent over 5000$ and the store manager lied saying he would bundle all my new home furniture and "throw in insurance on everything" come to find out 6 months into my purchase, he no longer works there i have videos and photos to prove the shady characters who they hire at ASHLEYS Lake grove, ny I will make sure no one ever shops there again

Our delivery is coming Tuesday and we just made our purchase Friday! Not only was the in store service from Carlie amazing but I followed up with her the following day and she responded immediately and was willing to help and provided an unexpectedly high level of customer service. My husband and I purchased the Eltmann sectional and we LOVE it! The slate color is the perfect combo of dark grey with a hint of navy. Our saleswoman was Gaby and she was absolutely WONDERFUL! She was helpful and knowledgeable without being overly pushy like you find at other furniture stores. She was also super patient with us as it took us 3 trips back to the showroom to visit the couch before finally deciding to purchase. We had a wonderful experience 10/10 would recommend!

My husband and I visited the Ashley home store in Lake Grove Labor Day weekend 2019. We were extremely eager to find new furniture as we are doing some major renovations and wanted to find some things during some decent sales. Upon arrival we were immediately approached by a sales woman named Dawn Punto who initially seemed to be very helpful. We ended up ordering a Queen size Bedroom set inclusive of extra pieces such as an extra night stand and chest so it would be enough storage for my husband and I. Dawn then convinced us to purchase a mattress for the set but when she sold us this mattress she explained to us that in order for the mattress to be under warranty protection we needed to purchase a mattress protector from them which was an extra $300. Although I initially had reservations she explained how great if a deal it was and that it would be in our best interest so my husband and I agreed. About a week and a half later we came back and wanted to find out our options about returning the mattress and potentially changing our Queen set to a King set. That's when things went to the left. Before we could explain that we wanted to upgrade the bedroom set, Dawn told me that the mattress cover for a mattress that had not even been delivered yet could not be returned because it was taken out of the store. All of which was never addressed upon purchase. It was at that point that I realized that Dawn was more interested in a sale for commision than she was about the customer. I felt completely misled and was totally disappointed that I allowed myself to be bamboozled by her. I left the store immediately because I had nothing nice to say and although I liked the furniture I had purchased, I realized that there was a principle behind all of this and I could not allow myself to be taken advantage of by her. A few days went past and I returned all of the furniture to the store because not only had I felt disrespected I was disgusted at her lack of professionalism. Prior to my return, I did reach out to Ashley customer service and didn't receive as much as a call back. I made a complaint but nothing was done. The young lady I sopke to from customer service over the phone informed me that Dawn in fact had lied about the mattress protection and I did not have to purchase a mattress cover in order to recieve the warranty. Now fast foward to Columbus day, I went into the Ashley home store in Glen cove where I was greeted with humility and respect. The salesman was extremely helpful and was interested in looking out for my families best interest. It was then that I realized that Dawn was even more of a terrible person because the credit in which we opened to purchase furniture was still on hold after it was returned in order for her to keep the commission to the sale. Thank goodness my sales associate was able to have the funds released and we were able to purchase an even better set for a great price. I drove an hour away for better service and got exactly what was deserved as a customer. Thank you Ashley Home Store Glen Cove for your customer service and professionalism. Dawn has ruined it for me at Lake Grove and I will tell all my friends and family the same thing. For great service Ashley in Lake Grove won't do just go out west to Glen cove ask for and you will be pleased.

We Decided we wanted to purchase new Living room Furniture for our home. Yesterday, 10/24/19 I went to Bobs Discount Furniture store in Lake Grove N.Y. I almost made a purchase but, then decided to go next door to Ashley's Furniture. it was 8pm and I was greeted nicely by the person at the front desk. He advised me to take a look around and someone would be with me shortly. He offered me Water and a snack which I thought was very nice. Brett Surmanek finished up with his customer and immediately introduced himself. He then Asked "How can I make your night Great". I thought Wow what a nice person. I was absolutely right. He was Patient, Professional , Knowledgeable about all of the products, kind and listen to what I wanted and how much I was willing to spend. By far the worst experience I have ever had purchasing anything. The customer service is terrible. No one is willing to help with anything. The front desk girl Samantha is rude and has a nasty attitude. Customer service reps are disgusting as well. The return policy is ridiculous. I spent almost $8k in the store for them to tell me I cant exchange one piece. Once its signed for there is no exchange or returns. Terrible company terrible policy and terrible customer service.

My boyfriend and I had the pleasure of having Gina work with us in choosing the right furniture for our new apartment. Gina was very welcoming when we first arrived at the store and assisted us the whole time we were there. We had such a great experience with Gina that our whole apartment is furnished with Ashely’s furniture. I couldn’t be happier with Gina she’s patient and stayed way past store hours to help us choose the right furniture. Overall everyone at this location is professional and is truly there to guide you through what can be a frustrating experience trying to figure what goes with what, but they make it so much easier.

I see a man standing at the desk that I walked past previously and asked if there&'s anyone who can help. His response was that when I walked in he said hello and I blew past him. I said what?? I said I didn&'t see or hear you. Absolutely rude response. How about yes how can I help you and I could&'ve looked past the fact that no one wanted to help. Instead I walked out. Your loss Ashley. I just moved to the area and spent plenty and Raymour. Was looking to get furniture for 2 more rooms. I guess I understand why your parking lot was completely empty...

I am currently in the process of trying to add a piece to an order that I placed back in January 2019. At the time of purchase, I was in the process of finishing my new house, and had discussed with the sales rep (Luke, at the Lake Grove, LI location) that I would like to add additional pieces based on the size of the room upon completion. At this time, I was promised that if I wanted to add more pieces all I had to do was &"call the store&" and it would be handled on the phone, and that they would honor the discount.To back track, the entire experience with Ashley Furniture just leaves you feeling dirty. Like buying a car from a used car salesman. There is ZERO transparence, even different sales reps will promise you different prices to make the sale. They will say whatever it takes to make the sale, promising you the door. Fast forward to now, I have called Ashley well over 20 times and have been passed on to the next rep over and over. I have spoken to multiple people at the Lake Grove and New Jersey customer service call center (when I can&'t get through to Lake Grove). No one yet has been proactive in helping me solve this issue. Although they have agreed to the 35% off, they are insisting I need to pay $80 in delivery for a single piece (armless chair). I have even offered to drive to any Long Island location to pick up the piece. Today, after speaking with Marcell at the Lake Grove location, I was told that Luke was terminated because he &"promised things to customers that he could not deliver on.&" I am confused as to where this leaves me as a customer? No one has offered a solution to right their wrong in that their sales rep was misleading, misguiding, and employing bad business practices. At this point it is clear that Luke was saying whatever he wanted in order to make the sale which goes against the ethics of a sound business. The store manager, Marvin, has yet to be able to speak to me on the phone. If the store knowingly had an employee terminated because of bad business practices, they should be the ones offering sound solutions as a remedy. The only solution I got today from Marcell was a snarky comment that he &"does not have a time machine&" so he doesn&'t know how to help. Save yourself the hassle. Any money you feel that you can save from shopping here will certainly cost you in time and headaches.DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH ASHLEY THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE.I wish I would have listened to other reviews.
Never again. Don&'t go here unless you&'re made of money and enjoy being lied to. They use every dirty sales trick in the book, but you don&'t even realize because they&'re being so nice to you.1) They inflate the prices on the sales floor and then they PRETEND TO GIVE YOU GREAT DISCOUNTS when in fact they&'re giving you the online price. A sales manager runs and &"makes calls&" to get you these &"discounts&" but it&'s bullshit.2) If you qualify for a big enough line of credit they will try to talk you into purchasing a mattress. After two hours of the salespeople blowing smoke up our asses we somehow found ourselves agreeing to pay $8k over 5 years. The second I left the store I was like &"What have I done?&" and then I didn&'t sleep for 2 days.3) If you leave the store with ANY merchandise, it CANNOT BE RETURNED, refunded, or exchanged so now we&'re saddled with all this expensive bedding for a bed we didn&'t end up buying because we canceled the entire sale. I&'ve never heard of such a policy in any other store on the planet.The next time any salesperson comes near me in any store I am going to hiss at them.
Long story short, pushy sales people, prices are a lot lower on their website than those that are in person. Waste of my time. I questioned about the $500 protection plan and if there is any other. The salesman said no but didn’t tell me that it is optional. Based on that alone I will not be purchasing from Ashley.

I purchased a bedroom set and it came with pen marks on the top of it. Along with that, the two end tables had black marks on them. Someone came to look at it and “fix” it. The person who came sanded the dresser and the end tables. Well, there are swirl marks all over the top of the furniture now. I’ve called, emailed and was first told nothing can be done. Then someone from Ashley said a manager would call me. And NOTHING!!!! Horrible customer service!!!!!!! I have yet to put anything into this furniture because I would like it fixed or a refund because it was expensive! CAN SOMEONE PLEASE REACH OUT TO ME REGARDING THIS?

Went to Ashley in Lake Grove and was greeted by a lovely young lady Bridget. Walked us around and when we couldn’t find what we wanted Bridget asked for assistance from Dawn. Both saleswomen were very polite and helpful. We found a dresser and ordered it.when you are there ask for Bridget.
My husband and I purchased 12,000$ in furniture and I have to say for the most part we love everything but we had purchased outdoor furniture as well and the first time we opened the umbrella it broke after 5 mins. I called customer service to see if they could refund us the money or replace it and they were completely unhelpful. I will never buy from this store again. I am just sad that I spent so much money on crap furniture through a store that doesn’t back there products.
If you go to this store to shop for furniture, ask for Brett. He was amazingly patient with me and my indecisiveness, and took me through the process painlessly. If you are not sure what you want, he will help you figure out what style suits you. Upon arriving home after my purchase, I looked at the website for the store and saw some pieces had a lower online price. One text to Brett, and happily matched the online price without any complications. His customer service is top notch. The store itself has many different styles on the floor. If you don't see anything that suits you, they have a screen in the store with more options. It is also very easy to apply for credit as well. Go check them out!

I purchased a table from them. They talk all that stuff saying how they are the best furniture place to buy from and I really liked the table but when they delivered it to my house the 2 guys that delivered it looked clueless and had so much trouble putting it together. They damaged it trying to force pieces together then they told me that no one showed them how to put this on model together. So to avoid more damage I told them to leave and I put the table together. Before they left the called their superior and explained what happened then the lady on the phone wanted to talk to me and offered me some money back since my table is now damaged. I never got the refund mentioned and now they are telling me that they got me a new table and waiting for me to schedule a time to have them deliver it but I don't want anything from them again and don't want them sending 2 more guys who don't know what they are doing and damage my house and my furniture more. Went to the store and asked them about it and they said that I will never see anything other than a replacement. The people working there told me that Ashley's have the worst customer service and that other locations would make sure customers are happy and honor what they promise and therefore I'm not buying anything from there again!!!!!!
The sales floor staff is great. Dispatch is absolutely nasty as can be. The couch was delivered broken in 3 spots. We refused. They couldn’t deliver again for several days apparently. Rescheduled date: truck broke down. I am never working with them again

Much more realistic than Raymor and Flanigan ( right across the street ) Nothing to write home about, not overly or underly impressed. Bottom line after a visit to Raymore, Ashley, and Bob's Furniture ( also around the corner) do yourself a favor, go check out Big Lots. Same furniture, better pricing, cheaper delivery, cheaper extended warranty, same friendly staff.. however they're selection is a bit limited, but still surprisingly nice .
This is a nightmare. I placed an order thinking everything will be deliver like they said it would. It was on the delivery date that I noticed one of the item that I had order was not delivered. I placed four call out to customer service and after being place on hold for multiple times and to have a response like call back later, I found out one of the item that I ordered was on backorder. I was not notify ahead of time but I was like give them the benefit of the doubt, things like this happen. It's a week later, I have not receive a phone call or even a message as to update me what is going on. So, I called customer service two times today and to place on hold for 30 minutes and then to explain my situation and then to be placed on hold again for another 20 minutes until I hang up because I decided to call at a later time hoping there will be less wait time. So later that day, I made a another call out to customer service and I guess I was lucky because I was only placed on hold for 15 minutes before speaking to someone and after I explained the situation the call ended. I cannot even explain how frustrated I was. I called again, placed on hold again, and I guess I was lucky because it was same person who I spoke to earlier so I didn't need to explain the situation over. But the reply that I receive was there is no date and that I should speak to the lake grove store where I purchase everything from and that he was going to transfer my call. During the transfer, the phone rang twice and then the call ended. This is the most unprofessional way to run a business. I, the customer have to track information on my missing item. All this could have been avoided, if someone would have contacted me ahead of time to tell me the item is on backorder or someone care enough or did there job to update me as to what is going on.
We were greeted by Brett who was awesome! He was not like the usual furniture store salesperson .... he was friendly and extremely helpful! He showed us and demonstrated the temperpedic cadillac of beds!! We will definitely be back for that soon. We came for a sofa and he helped us with zero pressure. We did purchase a sectional which didn’t work ... we came back to the store and again Brett was so accommodating and helpful!! He helped us sort it out! We will for sure be back for future furniture needs. Brett is an awesome asset to the Ashley store in Lake Grove,NY
This is a nightmare. I placed an order thinking everything will be deliver like they said it would. It was on the delivery date that I noticed one of the item that I had order was not delivered. I made a large purchase when the delivery guys asked to sign for it I saw that the item that I didn't receive was on there too. I wasn't going to sign for something I did not receive. I placed four call out to customer service and after being place on hold for multiple times and to have a response like call back later, I found out one of the item that I ordered was on backorder. I was not notify ahead of time but I was like give them the benefit of the doubt, things like this happen. The furniture is actually good but the return policy is kinda mean :(
My mom and I were shopping for a couch and our experience was great. I would suggest asking for Jonathan when you go to the Lake Grove store. He was very patient with us and knowledgeable about the furniture and warranty. My mom was very happy with her purchase.
I have to admit I'm a hard to please consumer so when I found my dining set on sale almost 20 % lower and they still hadn't delivered it completely I was going to war. l spoke with Christine and she was polite, pleasantly professional and quick to resolve my issue. They matched the price down to the dime and set a convenient delivery date. I wish all my shopping experiences ended like this. Thanks Christine I hope Ashley appreciates your talent.

The customer service people are NASTY. The store made mistakes and acted like it was our fault giving us attitudes for them not explaining their store policies properly. You spend a huge amount of money on a couch for it to “discountinue” and the store doesn’t even notify you as you’re waiting for the product. Worst experience ever.
If I could rate this no stars I would. I went there looking for a mattress, 1. When I got to the store the person I had spoke to on the phone wasn't available but the manager Mitch came and said he would take care of us . Like any other person it makes you feel more comfortable that you're dealing with someone a little more "professional" we look around and I decide to get one however I saw it online and I decide I rather get it online. When I mention it to him he states that if I order it with him I would get to pick the day it would be delivered. I decide to do it because I wanted to make sure someone would be home. A few days later I had to confirm the delivery and I notice the size of the mattress was wrong. I called and spoke to Mitch one more time and he assured me everything was corrected and I had nothing to worry about. Long story short they deliver the wrong mattress. To be clear I was remodeling my room and It is a memory foam which comes all wrapped so there's no way I could've seen the label. I have been dealing with Bill who has been nothing but helpful but not once did this "manager" speak to me. Not once did Mitch like any manager, spoke to me to reassure me everything would be fixed . Horrible experience. I will never step foot in that store ever again, that's so called manager should stick to being in his office.
We went here 2 days in a row. The first time the associate helping was very pushy and wouldn't let us look. Today our new associate was great and helped us find exactly what we were looking for.
Great staff! Shout out to Darryl and Neil. Ordered several rooms of furniture late last year, worked hard to get us the best price. Delivery was smooth, couple of minor issues dealt with immediately to our satisfaction. Went back for outdoor furniture this week, can't wait for delivery!

Was looking around for furniture for awhile...I moved into an apartment with my mom who is battling dementia and wanted to get her a comfortable practical living room set with a sleeper sofa for me.. From the moment we walked into the showroom...Brett greeted us warmly and was very attentive to our needs!!! He is very professional and knowledgable about the products!! My mom was very comfortable with him and he had a tremendous amount of patience with her!! The furniture was delivered in 3 days and it looks great!! We are getting a lot of compliments on it!!! Only gave 2 stars because the salesman was extremely nice and very personable...well the manager did not like the fact that he was talking to us about anything other than a sale!!!!! Super rude manager! We ordered a mattress and bed frame....was supposed to be delivered between 7am and 11am. The delivery driver called at 6am saying we are outside.. no big deal. The men come, set the bed up, an hour later say okay-all good. WELL sat on the bed and the whole bed fell apart!!!!!!!!! Had to call them back and they put it back together...although am still afraid it's not 100% put together correctly. Called Ashley later that day and they gave us the delivery fee back but they didnt seem too fuss about the delivery driver NOT setting up the bed right.......Never again will I go to Ashley! Not worth it.
I couldn't be happier with my experience at Ashley with Mark and Marvin. They were so helpful, knowledgeable ,and worked with our needs! We'll definitely be back !

I just want to say John was an excellent help today. My boyfriend and I was simplying going for size measures of a Queen and King size bed for our apartment. The moment we walked in , he greeted us quickly and friendly. He asked questions about what we were looking for to get an idea of what to show us. Let me tell you, we were decorating our FIRST APARTMENT EVER, so we had no idea what to buy and what was good. John walked us through everything. We started off with Queen beds and he let us try the difference softness. Very sanitary by the way with the pillow covers for each customer.. Then he explained how important a good bed is even for your health, to help with snoring. John really cares about his customers if he is trying to simply help you breath better while sleeping and showed my boyfriend Marcelo different positions to set the bed to help with that. He ended up hooking us up with a sweet deal for a tempur-perdic bed that goes up ! He then showed us around the whole area to get a look for couches and sets. He helped explain all the prices and which is a better deal. He recommended their finance plan that works over the timespan of 5years ! Long story short... John is a great guy that took the time of his day to help a young couple get settled on their feet. He is very friendly and has some good jokes ! He understand budge and quality, also feed us some great spinach chicken wraps! I highly recommend John for any customer, he is more than just an employee trying to sell you furniture, he is like an uncle looking out for the best deals!
Gina and Brandy are fabulous when you have the abilities to sell to a person a mattress when they are looking for a couch you are great at what you do. Super helpful great customer service. I definitely will come back and buy more furniture and recommended to others.

I bought a sectional with extra pieces, end tables, an entertainment center and some decorative poufs from the lake grove store, the sales guy was very nice, we spent ALOT of money in the store! The delivery came and the impatient guys wanted me to sign off before even looking everything over and even had a rep already on the phone asking if everything looked ok so they could go. I noticed they put the doors on backwards on the tv unit and that the wood looked warped. The rep on the phone was telling me that was they way it normally looks, I said no way and I didn’t like it. He said he will send a tech but they couldn’t come for 2 weeks!!! Now I spent $500 on just the service contract so now I’m seeing how that was a waste of money having to wait that long for service. Never did he say I had to put back on truck or Its non returnable. After they left I looked at it more and realized how poor quality it was and I called customer service cause I wanted to exchange it for something else and was willing to pay to do so in which a girl named “Princess” got on the phone and basically told me that it’s mine now and there nothing that can be done. She was incredibly harsh and rude!! I called the store to speak to mgr. he would not answer the phone and told his employee to tell me I had to call customer service. So I called back again asking for a supervisor in which I was told I would have to leave a message and that it would take days for a return response. How ridiculous!! They delivered a defective poor quality entertainment center and now I’m stuck looking at this forever. I’m so beyond upset! I was planning on buying from Ashley again soon since we just purchased a new home but I will never ever buy again from them. I’ve already filed complaints with BBB and consumer affairs!! DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!! Go to Raymore Flanagan they were excellent with my new dining room set!!

My husband and I were looking for a sectional for our family room. The one I liked on line was too soft. Teresa was extremely helpful. She showed us a set that ended up being a little cheaper. We definitely liked it better. Teresa answered all of our questions and couldn't have been nicer. The same goes for Chandler, who handled our paperwork. All in all, it was a great experience.

I bought a dinning set 2 years ago with the extended warranty for $300 just the other day the leg on the chair split and cracked off. Ashley Furniture said it’s only covered the first year, and will not replace or fix it. The warranty company said the legs are not covered. So what did I spend $300 for?😡 The set is only 2 years old. It’s very sad they do not stand behind their furniture. I will not be shopping there anymore.
I purchased furniture at the Ashley Furniture Store in Lake Grove, NY for a house that i have not moved into yet. The furniture (a couch and 2 recliners) have never been used except to test them when they were delivered, as required. The tags are still on all the furniture. I even bought a $300+ for a 5 year warranty and paid $200 or $300 plus in insurance for delivery, in case anything happened...which is ridiculous! I am about to move into my house and feel the furniture is way too big for my living room. I called and asked if it could be returned because it hasn’t been used and the tags are still on them. I got a big NO. I even would have even been happy with a store credit...another big No. If I sell it privately, they will not transfer the warranty to the new buyer! I won’t be buying from Ashley again, which is too bad...I like their furniture.
Our table finish was peeling after only a few months of having it. We spent a fortune on a “worry free warranty”. After calling repeatedly for TWO months because no one will call you back (still waiting to hear from the manager-I called and left 3 messages because I wanted to let me know if my horrible customer service) we were able to pick out a new set that is cheaper, and we don’t even like. But we only had 7 days to find something new or keep what we have...never again would we shop here nor would I ever recommend them! The worst customer service! (Not to mention- the store has called ID, they will choose to ignore you, after calling several times and waiting on hold my husband called from his phone and got right through! Amazing!)

Advice : check it once, check it twice, even have another family check it.. they delivery guy will rush you but f them they have to wait till you sign off...So after finding the stains about 30 mins later I call the store to let them know, they said once it’s delivered and I signed off there is nothing they can do and it becomes a warranty issue. I say ok no biggie that’s why I bought the $299 5 year warranty. I contact customer service, explain to them the current situation and see what my options are.. At this point I was a little aggravated but was like ok let’s see where it goes... 2nd mistake ❗️Not having the warranty throughly explained... In a nutshell this is how it works.. Ashley’s cs orders the damaged part to your home ( which takes a 7-10 days if the parts are in stock). When the parts arrive you have to call them back and schedule an appointment for a tech to come and repair or replace all damaged parts ( which takes another 7-10 day if ur lucky ). Back to my story.. So I call for an appointment, they have nothing available till 2/9/2019.. mind you it’s 1/12/19 and the parts will be delivered 1/15/2019.. Now I’m fuming 😤.. A brand new sectional that I didn’t even damaged is going to take a month to be repaired.. ⚠️⚠️⚠️Moral or the story.. don’t get f’d by Ashley’s..
