Daniel provided us with the best experience possible. Instead of getting a quick sell from us, he told us to come back a few days later for a huge sale they were having. She has a great sense of humor as well! Although my purchase was quite bulky, Natasha was able to find a dolly to successfully transport my purchase to my vehicle-very customer-oriented. Additionally , I was greeted by Patti upon entering your store. Patti has an enormously friendly personality and was genuinely enjoyable, while steering me in the appropriate direction to arrange my purchase pickup.These two ladies certainly made my shopping experience worthwhile, and were much appreciated!

We had Daniel Nye come up and assist us immediately. He was great from the start. He was helpful and also gave us space to look around. He immediately noticed that we were wearing SPCA shirts and was very engaged in the conversation surrounding our agency. We were buying furniture for our personal home and it was hands down the easiest purchase we have ever made. It was a great price and he assisted us from start to finish. The place was great because we were greeted and not pressured. After deciding on a dining set we needed some additional chairs to complete the set. Kyla was great in solving our problem. A special thanks to her for her ability to understand the complexity of recouping from a insurance claim . To the Ashley Co. she is a keeper.

I just purchased a dining room table and my Sales Rep AnnMarie was very helpful she answered alot of our questions and let us decide as to what we wanted instead of bieng pushy,very very helpful,this store has alot to choose from,very nice furniture
The salesman met me at the door, politely. He then followed me around the store for an hour and kept asking, "may I help you?" When looking at dining sets I eventually asked him, does the dining SET include the chairs ($1,700). He practically ran to me said "No, thats for the table and extension leaves", at which point he pulled the paper out of the add, opened it up and each chair was $250. I then asked if he had any tables that were actual solid wood, not plywood with a veneer. He looked at me flat faced and stated, "well thats pretty much all of our furniture." Im giving one star in part for an attempt at PRESSURE SALES, AND for the quality of the "wooden" furniture. Absolutely nothing was impressive. Cheap quality for great quality prices.

Was looking for a Matching Loveseat and Recliner. Went to Ashley Furniture first to start our looking journey and met our Salesperson Patricia. She was very helpful and showed us around the place taking us to sets that suited our taste. We saw a set we like but decided on looking at a couple other places and trying out the furniture before making a final purchase. She gave us her business card and told us about the upcoming deal the following week. After looking at the other places we decided to go back to Ashley and purchase the set with Patricia. Very happy with our choice and our salesperson!!
Our sales person was wonderful and very knowledgeable. They gave me the time to just look on my own without bothering us every 5 minutes which was awesome. Our only issue was when it came to the invoice. They had over charged us $780 dollars. Luckily when we got to the car my husband looked over the bill and noticed it. There were 3 different mistakes on the bill. Next time we will definitely ask to see it before they charge my credit card. Now we are just waiting for the credit to come through. They also did not tell us before hand the amount it would cost for delivery. The price for delivery is outrageous

I did do my research online ahead of time which helped me narrow down the options I wanted to get a hands on with. Patty is wonderful. She helped my brother with his Purple mattress purchase and his sectional. She truly took time and care with helping him chose the base he wanted and helping him find what he wanted based on what he likes and dislikes about furniture all while considering his budget. He loved his so much my husband and I decided to purchase a Purple mattress as well. He is older and I have back issues and we are having the best night's sleep we could have. The business was amazing! Immaculate sales floor, amazing presentation, attentive and thoughtful sales associates! We walked in with a few ideas in mind, and Kyla greeted us, showed us comparable pieces to the ones we found on the website, and even invited us to their presidents day sales event! We decided on our furniture at the event, and purchasing was a breeze! Everyone was friendly, and Kyla got us an amazing deal - knowing we were a family of 4 on a budget. Purchased a nice table and the finish started coming off within 1 months of ownership. Paid for extended warranty and spent 6 months with their third party to drive up and tell us they couldn't fix it. Spent another 2 months working on the replacement and they refused to cover assembly and delivery which we paid for on the original shipment. Actual nightmare. Avoid Ashley, you're just a number to this corp. 0 stars

My wife and I visited this store during their presidents day sale. We were helped by Kristen, and she was extremely helpful. The only down side is that we were not able to leave with a couch or bed, both had to be ordered and delivered. This was our first experience with a furniture store so this might be normal in today's world but it caught us by suprize. Overall we had a great experience and would definitely recommend.

Ashley furniture is the BEST place to go furniture shopping. The store is awesome, but the outlet in the back is even cooler. Awesome furniture reduced in price. I just furnished 6 rooms in my house and took full advantage of the President’s sale to save even more and got approved for an Ashley store credit card on the spot. The staff is all wonderful, but my favs are the awesome, cool men that assisted me their names are *Tim #1, Dan #1 and Tattoo guy #2 (didn’t get his name). Can't remember his name but the gentleman that helped me was very kind. I didn't find what I went in there for but he was very helpful in helping me find other items that were on sale for good prices which includes some wall accent frames, living room rug and very comfy pillow which I'll be back for some other pillows that we're cooling pillows that seemed incredibly great! I recommend the Ashley store in Liverpool cause of this guy(wish I knew his name). Store was clean, organized and friendly staff. I'll be back. Doesn't hurt to go in for a quick look, u never know, u might just find something! Or a few things.. they do have a great selection of clearance section in the back too.

Messed up my order from the beginning. I ordered a twin adjustable frame an they order me a queen mattress. I noticed it when I got home,called the store and ir took numerous phone calls to correct the mess up.. I finally was refunded the difference in price of the mattress but after requesting an amended purchase order they said they would email it to me. Ie was not emailed, so I requested them sending it to me by mail and I was assured I'd get it sent to my house. A week later I still haven't received it. Apparently after they make the sale they do not care about the customer or customer satisfaction!
I was shopping for new bedroom furniture and Patty was the sales person that helped me. She answered all of my questions to the best of her knowledge and went to management for any questions she wasn’t 100% sure about. She was not pushy and allowed me time to browse the store and make my decision, without following me around like a watch dog. I will be buying more furniture from Ashley again in the near future!

Purchased a sectional and it was delivered fine. Three weeks later we noticed the back cushion was ripped along the zipper and stuffing falling out. We’d purchased the protection plan for $300 and filed a claim only to find out this wasn’t covered. Extremely disappointed and would not purchase from Ashley again based on this poor experience.

Went to the Liverpool location after visiting another location a few days prior. The first store had a very pushy salesperson that was following us, listening to financial discussions and interjecting over a dozen times. Tried, again, and were pleasantly surprised by Sierra's customer service. She introduced herself and allowed us to narrow our options down, answering questions and giving us valuable information regarding our two choices. Ultimately, we got a much more expensive bedroom set, but feel confident with her help and are so excited to get our furniture. We will definitely be back and will ask for Sierra by name. Thank you! Extensive showroom, my salesman was quite knowledgeable. I would suggest they make sure to tell customers that when encouraging customers to see what their eligibility for credit while in the store that it WILL BE a HARD PULL on your credit report & not "just 1-3 points off."

We were greeted on our visit by Dan at the front entrance! He was incredibly welcoming. We told him we were in search of a new dining room table and he directed us to the best deal in the store and one of the most affordable dining room sets. Little did he know it was actually the one we saw online so we knew he actually pointed out a good set with a great price point. He continued to let us have time to browse the store and came to answer any questions when we had them. Both of my boys started getting a little fussy so he went and got them both little squish toys to play with that the store had! He was very knowledgeable on everything in the store, very personable, and easy to work with. He double checked everything he did, ran it by us, and made sure we left with no questions unanswered. Dan was incredibly attentive while still allowing us our space to browse, and we will be back to work with him when needed in the future!

I visited the store three times. the first visit was I worked with Ann Marie when I was looking for my love seat. she was very helpful and considerate and not pushy. shared information and a special VIP sale it was coming up on mattresses. She also helped out one of my clients I sent to her and really took care of her! The second visit was to check out mattresses and I worked with Brittini who was very informative and patient with me as I tried different Temperpedics. Very friendly and seemed to want to get me the best deal but I wasn't ready to spend that kind of money. Within a week Sierra reached out to me and my third visit today she worked with me and I got a great deal on my bed and loveseat. All of these ladies patiently answered question after question and I felt reassured that I was getting a good product and I would be happy with it and help my improve my sleep. 👍🏼🥰

Update: called Ashley on 3/16, now all of a sudden mattress was scheduled to arrive to them that date. Scheduled delivery for 3/22 between 9:30-12. Get text on 3/22 stating delivery is 1:00-4:00, call because that’s not what we were told. Was told there was a family emergency today and they had to reroute the schedule. Nothing like a little notice when you take a morning off work to be home. Asked for a manager to call, was told the person was a manager. Interesting every time we call there the managers stress answering the phones. Common courtesy would have been to call and see if that was okay to be delivered later. Apparently customers don’t come first! Buyer beware!!! Ordered a new mattress on 2/10/23, scheduled to be delivered on 2/25. Great! While that came to immediate halt, delivery guys brought in the mattress and unwrapped it. The mattress was soaked at the bottom and stained! Totally not the delivery guys fault. Ended up talking to manager on duty at the store (Allison I believe ), we ended up switching the mattress to a king size from a California king, said the order was placed and would be about 2 weeks (due to having to change the size). One would think a king size mattress would be in stock. Guess what ? It’s now 3/13, called today being told another 2 weeks . Wondering if that is just the standard answer. This is UNACCEPTABLE ! Manager doesn’t seem to care other than to say, it’s another 2 weeks! Beware before shopping here!

It was a very creepy experience like no other Ashley. I wanted to look at bed frames but couldn’t focus because the sales person was staring my wife and I down from every corner. Literally standing partially around a corner staring. Don’t know if it was to make a sale or freak us out but it worked. After we made it to the clearance area in the back it became very very apparent we were being followed and watched. Made my wife uncomfortable so we left immediately. Would recommend the one in Camillus.
Everything broke within a year and was told they can do nothing about it even tho when I bought the furniture i was told any damage would be replaced especially since I spent more on coverage. 4k wasted but it’s ok, it’s cheap material for expensive prices, you’re better off getting your bedstand off Amazon and putting it together yourself and get your couches/mattresses from Raymour and Flanigan if you wanna spend a few thousand on good furniture.

After a horrible experience with this company with a full year of disappointment with service and the sales team and delivery delays yet again a year later they still have not delivered the way that was told…. We have the furniture in the house but not complete and we have called to have the situation taken care of and still nothing…. I have posted already and I’m doing it again BUYER BEWARE….. it’s so bad and I’m letting everyone know how we were treated. My wife walked in the Liverpool store this past week with the gift cards that were sent because our service was so bad and our furniture order took almost a year to get and it’s still not right.. SHE WAS GREETED AT THE DOOR BY A SALE PERSON AND AS SOON AS SHE TOLD THE PERSON SHE HAD GIFT CARDS TO USE THEY NEVER TALKED WITH HER AGAIN….. She was in the store for about an hour and not one of them approached her again…. As she walked out and passed a sales person she was not even told to have a nice day….. NOTHING….. We are DONE…… Now Ashly respond to this review with a drawn out message that you want to help us and you feel bad while giving us a number so we can talk with someone that does not care……. Once again you have let a customer down and while doing it, made sure we would never come back.

Think twice before you purchase a mattress from that store!! Although we had previously great experience with an Ahley Store in Myrtle Beach, our experience in this store was extremely disappointing. We went to buy a new mattress and base (~$5000) and the salesperson who was very nice but deceitful, told us that we have 30 days to trial and the mattress and can exchange to a different mattress if we didn't like it. That matched most if not all mattress stores that give a grace period for in home trial. Within 2 weeks my wife couldn't stand the firmness of the mattress, so she went to exchange it with a softer one (one that we also liked while we were there and is even more expensive). To her surprise the store manager told my her that we cannot replace the mattress and that we have to contact the vendor directly!!! The manager also acknowledged that the salesperson was mistaken when she told us we have a grace period of a month to trial the mattress. This is deceit and fraud and I'm submitting complaint to the better business bureau. In addition, my wife complained that the mattress base was not working correctly and they promised to send someone to fix it but NEVER happened. NO ownership whatsoever! Honestly, we would've been better off ordering online! So disaapointing!!! Will never buy anything from Ashley again!

The minute I walk in I was helped even as I gave the cold shoulder as if I was just looking, Caitlyn continued to walk around the store with me explaining pieces and options. From the moment we met she was super helpful and realistic not just trying to push on anything. She remained patient and diligent. After 2hrs she helped me find the perfect pieces for my living room and dining room. Although she was fairly new she was very informative and knew the aspects of her job. Caitlyn helped me apply for finacing and working around my budget. This was my best experience ever while finding furniture my day was truly made. I could not be more disappointed with Ashley's customer service. I was promised delivery on March 12th shortly after purchasing my furniture, I paid a $200 delivery fee. When March 12th came, the delivery driver claimed my street was blocked and couldn't deliver the furniture. Despite repeatedly telling both the driver and the people at Ashley that he was on the wrong street because mine was clearly not blocked, the driver refused to make the delivery and the unhelpful people at Ashley offered nothing other than that they'd call in 1 to 3 days to reschedule. Four days later, Ashley did indeed call and schedule delivery on the 19th, I told them that was good although I'd need to confirm that I had access to the freight elevator that day. The next day they told me the 19th was no longer available and that maybe Tuesday the 22nd would work. I have now been without furniture in my apartment for weeks and I cannot keep taking time off from work on hope that Ashley will actually follow through with one of their delivery promises.

I have not purchased a mattress in over 25 years. I walked into Ashley In Liverpool, and was immediately greeted by Debbie. I told her how much I disliked my memory foam mattress. and I needed a firm mattress in my old age. I tried out many with her alongside me. She not only led me to the perfect mattress, but it was on clearance! She was so patient and understanding. I two weeks later, I am sleeping much better! Thank you Deb!

I placed an online order and was sent 2. I called Ashley Homestore online and it was recommended to return to local store. I loaded the furniture in my car and the local Liverpool Ashley Homestore REFUSED to accept it. They told me they are not affiliated with the online order sector of Ashley Homestore which is the complete OPPOSITE of what the online sales diversion said. There were SEVERAL sales reps sitting around including the manager. No one offered to help. It seems that if business is slow and sales are down the sales reps should go above and beyond for the customer to provide high quality service. Instead they offered zero help or guidance and turned away a customer. TERRIBLE!!!

The extended warrantee that Ashley’s Furniture sells at their store and charges you a good amount for it is a scam and they could care less about making sure the warrantee they sell you is honored. I called the store regarding my extended warranty with my furniture and they quickly let you know that they do not have anything to do with the extended warrantee that it is handled by a third party. I explained to the manager that the third party is not holding up to their contract and the manager said it was out of their hands. I said no matter if it is a third party or not it is going to reflect on Ashley’s Furniture because your company sold it and I’m sure gets a kick back from it. The manager said again there was nothing she could do. After spending over $4000 of furniture and $400 more on the extended warrantee, the manager could not help me. I told her I would put a bad review all over social media and she said ok. With no concern at all. Do not buy furniture at Ashley’s Furniture. They want nothing to do with you after you buy the furniture.
Sales people were awesome, no pressure sales experience. Delivery people were great as well. The disconnect comes with their back end shipping people. Scheduled delivery after a 19 week wait (so be it, it's the market these days) for 0830-1130. I call at 1300 and I'm told that my window is now 1300-1600, wouldn't it be beneficial to tell the customer that? Apparently not, it would cost me 100 dollars to reschedule, but they can just change your appointment window because it's "same date." 1800 hours comes and the truck comes after my 15 minute text ahead. As I said, delivery people were awesome; fast, courteous and clean.... the scheduling/shipping department is a joke. Should send them a bill for 100 bucks for rescheduling. Glad I wasted an entire day waiting around when all they had to do was be honest and tell me they were short handed and give me a realistic delivery time.

5.0 star rating 7/25/2021 Let me start by saying I HATE furniture shopping, but the woman who helped us today is a breath of fresh air for the customer. We went in today to browse and our sales lady was outstanding. She did greet us, and left us to do our thing. We did not feel "pressured", "followed" or Uncomfortable in anyway. When we were ready we had a question and she got every answer to what we were looking for and more, all while being helpful and informative instead of pushy. We ended up purchasing the living room set, and were not only provided with excellent service , but a great deal. Our sales lady was Fuada, and if you are remotely interested in anything I would go in and ask directly for her. Of all the things to shop for, furniture is my least favorite. Fuada changed our furniture buying experience and is a prime example of what excellent customer service is. I will go through Ashley again in the future as long as I can work with Fuada. Excellent service!

She was helpful without being pushy. I am impressed but the intuitive manner and the professional way this young woman performs. I made a purchase and will return for future purchases. I never saw a person i walked around heard chatting as i went to leave store one lady near door setting up some things for st patricks never said a word to me. If there us another ashley i might check it out but i am not going back to this store
I recently bought a house and decided to go to Ashley Furniture to furnish my home. The sales representative fuada was amazing, she didn’t pressure me into buying anything and was really knowledgeable on the products. I was able to get a few things from the clearance section, which ended up being really cheap and fitting nicely in my home. I ordered several things through them to be delivered. Fuada was clear that because of covid things would take a little while (which I figured due to wild fires/wood and fabrics being used for masks) and I really appreciated the honesty. Skip to about 8 weeks I got my furniture and the guys who delivered it were great!!! They didn’t ding up the walls and were very careful, quick, and respectful.
They're pretty expensive and if you're in a hurry for furniture. Forget it. 18-24 weeks for delivery. I don't know about anyone else I don't think about purchasing furniture 5-6 months ahead of time.
I ordered a bedroom set in June, got it in November & took a pic of it in showroom with a king bed ,2 dressers with the mirror & 2 end tables & even a settee & it was on sale / clearance for less then half the price of the one I purchased with a Queen bed without box spring & mattress and I only received the bed frame , & 2 dressers with a mirror for over $4000.00 They said it was discontinued & they broke my dresser when delivered & would not replace it but glued it on another visit. Talk about a rip off! Why is that? I even called the manufactor & didn't get no where with a price reduction or anything. I don't recommend any purchase from anybody. They even had a different company deliver my furniture.

We ordered a rocker recliner for our nursery August 22, 2020. we were quoted 8-10 weeks. After 10 weeks we contacted Ashley to find out where our furniture was, we were then told it would be middle of November, there was a delay due to covid. from November forward we were told it would be 2 more weeks, every 2 weeks this is what we heard. Our baby arrived 12/2, no recliner in site. finally end of January we were told our recliner was ready, set up delivery for 1/30. we got a call on 1/29 that there was something wrong with the frame, they needed to fix the chair and it would be a couple weeks. I called today to find out exactly when our chair would be ready, and was told the end of March. After waiting 24 weeks for this recliner, we just cancelled our order. what a waste of time. our sales associate Lisa was so helpful throughout the entire ordeal she went above and beyond to get us answers and held where she could. corporate and customer service were useless and rude. I will never buy through them again! what a waste of time!

BEWARE of this store! Don’t be fooled by the attractive showroom and friendly salespeople. I bought a couch here in early September. The sales experience was fine. The salesman told me that due to the pandemic, I may not receive my furniture for 4-6 weeks. Understandable. It took over 4 months to receive the couch. I was patient due to the affects of the pandemic. My issue was with the lack of communication and deceitful salesman. Over the 4 months, I reached out to the salesman 5 times, never to receive a response. It was very clear that once he made his sale (and commission), he had no interest in helping me. I confirmed that he knew full well that customers would not be receiving their furniture for months. I went to the store in person, 3 times to talk to management. Corey was helpful but he was the only responsive employee. I was refunded a small amount of money for the trouble. During my last trip to the store, a fight ensued between a customer and staff, items were damaged and the police were called. Not the staff’s fault but nonetheless another eye opening experience with this company. I should have read Consumer Reports which rates this store last among all reviewed furniture stores. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

The furniture and store looked great. We saw a few pieces we were interested in. However, the prices are higher than I have ever seen them and after saying multiple times that we were just looking and probably not making a purchase that day, the salesman was there every time we sat down on a couch and tried to pressure us into buying on the spot. Will probably still purchase in the future but left feeling annoyed.

I accompanied my mother to Ashley to help her pick out furniture months ago, and she found a set that she was in love with. Despite the pandemic, the sales rep said that they could have it in by a certain date. Well, the day before the livingroom set was supposed to be delivered, they called my mother and said that the delivery was postponed until further notice. Now, this is understandable due to the pandemic, but they didn't even give 24 hours notice, nor did they offer a new date at that point. My mother had taken the day off of work to be home during the window of delivery. She was notified last week that they would be coming today, and earlier this week she got rid of her old furniture. Well, they showed up today and refused to bring the sofa up the stairs. The delivery men said that they could get the loveseat up, but not the sofa. This doesn't make sense to me, because we got the old set in and out just fine, and the new set is substantially smaller. Also, if the building is 3 flights high, and the sofa and the loveseat are the same width, I don't understand why they would be able to get the loveseat in, but not the sofa. Not only is there plenty of room, but as previously stated, the old set was much larger and was moved in and out by family members easily. It doesn't make sense to me that professionals would have a difficult time moving much smaller furniture in. My mother asked what they could do, and they wanted to refund her and charge her a "no-fit fee"; they were not willing to accommodate her whatsoever, even though they were 6 weeks late for delivery and she had accommodated them. Not to mention, my mother had no livingroom furniture at this time. My sister then suggested that we could pick it up from the home store in Liverpool where she had purchased the set, and bring it to the apartment ourselves. They said that the furniture could not be dropped off at the store in Liverpool, but we could drive out to the distribution center in Camillus. It was then explained that Camillus is a much further drive for us, but again, they refused to make any sort of compromise. Not only is the distribution center further away, but it also as more limited hours of operation, so we have to go out of our way. This situation is absolutely absurd! I was looking at a set from Ashley for my bedroom, but I'm better off paying an arm and leg and going to Dunkin Bright. Who, btw, delivered an entire bedroom set for my mother and did not have issues getting it in the apartment. This is just crazy to me, and the customer services is extremely lacking. If you're willing to spend thousands of dollars at a particular store, I think the least they could do is try to work out a compromise to keep you as a customer. You best bet, I will be telling anyone I know looking for furniture that they're better off at Dunkin Bright or Raymour!
**UPDATE: December 2nd and we STILL don't have the furniture! Rescheduled us AGAIN for another 2 weeks out. I've called Customer Service, they are looking into seeing what they can do for compensation, even though all I want is my furniture. And waiting for ANOTHER call back from the scheduling department. Awful.** The customer service in the delivery scheduling department is atrocious. I was very understanding when we found out it would take longer than expected for our furniture to come in, but today after our fourth contact with them, I'm outraged. We ordered furniture for our master bedroom and our son's room in August. When we ordered, we asked that our son's furniture be delivered first if it came in early because he didn't have his own bed in the new house. When it came in, they called to schedule and asked if we wanted a few pieces of our set delivered as well (it wasn't all in yet). We asked for it not to be delivered at that time and to schedule a delivery for our furniture when it was all in. I called a second time after that to confirm after my husband got an e-mail listing the items that would be delivered that week, which included the pieces for our room. I was assured that it was in the "notes" and that only our son's furniture would be on the truck. Strike 1: They brought our pieces anyway and said it "wasn't in the notes." We sent our pieces back and asked again, for the third time, that it be delivered when everything came in. Fast forward and all of our furniture is in, about a few weeks after our son's delivery. They set up a delivery date a couple of weeks later. Strike 2: The Monday before, my husband called because he never received a call with the delivery time frame. When he called, he was informed that his delivery was "rescheduled because he never called back to confirm the delivery date." My husband had indeed called back the week before, and apparently they never "put it in their notes". So I called. I explained the above to Natalie, who after I asked for a manager informed me she was the manager, and she could do nothing. Too late to put it on the truck and nothing else she could do. So I confirmed with her that the delivery would be scheduled for November 18th, the date she gave me. She said yes and it was "in the notes." My husband called again and someone else, not a manager, immediately gave him a refund on our delivery fee. Strike 3: Now today, 11/16. My husband received another voicemail on Friday saying the delivery would need to be rescheduled and to call back. So I called. Wouldn't you know, we can't get deliveries where we are on Wednesdays, only the first and third Tuesday of the Month. Well, tomorrow IS the THIRD TUESDAY OF THE MONTH. All they can do at this point is reschedule it AGAIN, even though THEIR MANAGER SCHEDULED IT FOR THE WRONG DATE!! How are they trying to fix it this time? A $150 refund or a $200 gift card (ON A $5,000 PURCHASE). I told them I don't want a refund, I want my furniture and I would not need a giftcard because I won't be buying from them again. Dear Ashley's Furniture CEO: You may want to invest in better training for your corporate and management staff, or just replace them altogether. It amazes me that you haven't gone out of business yet with the careless attitude your staff has regarding the frustrations of their customers, which in fact they cannot "understand" but every single one of them has a script to say that, which is a perfectly reasonable assumption as each of the 5 people I have spoken with so far has said the exact same thing to me. I hope our furniture is delivered on December 1st. I do know, however, we will never purchase from Ashley's again. It's a shame. AND you can take the "notes" and shove them somewhere useful, since staff don't know how to use them but keep referring to them anyway.
My family ordered a bedroom set and living room set from Ashley in Liverpool. They waited 10 weeks and still only received half of what they ordered. The bedroom set came damaged and the dresser had no knobs ! The head board was all dug up as well. The moving company Ashley hired for delivery and set up was horrible. They walked right in with their wet dirty shoes like it was nothing. They assembled everything and moved it all into the bedroom. They dug up all our hardwood floors, molding and walls. The whole floor needs to be redone and molding needs to be replaced. We had just painted and remolded that room too. Now we have to wait longer for replacement furniture and to fix all the damage to the floors molding and walls. For the amount of money we paid and everything that had happened we certainly will go somewhere else now. It is not worth the aggravation. We could have just moved everything ourselves had we known this was going to happen. We paid for delivery and for them to put it together as well. Paid a lot of money for the furniture which only half came, it was damaged and then they damaged everything I stated in the rooms which will now cost more money to fix. Not a good experience at all
Spend the extra money and go to Raymour. Only helpful sales person is Derek (only reason it’s getting a 2 star rating). NEVER AGAIN. They lie to you just to get you to buy furniture and not have it delivered the day they said it was going to be. July 28 - Placed an order at the Liverpool location for more than $3,200. Sales associates were Julia and Lisa. Because I was moving to Albany, NY I told them I would schedule my own delivery. They told me again and again that your team delivers to Albany, so I bought the delivery with Ashley. August 1- Call to schedule my delivery. Was told that they are unsure if Ashley delivers to Albany. August 7- After no call back I called to check on the status of my order to see if they could deliver which resulted in a no. August 8- Drove to the Liverpool location to pick up my bed and box spring where Lisa and Julia said to me “well what are you going to do” as if it should be me who figures it out when they are the ones who told me that they would deliver. August 23- I found a new delivery driver and was confirmed September 6th my order would be delivered to Albany,NY. At this time Julia my sales associate stoped responding to me or being any sort of help. I never had Lisa’s number. September 3 - Call the delivery driver to verify the time of delivery only to hear Lisa tell me that my order wasn’t even in yet and still had months of waiting to go. After I had already took a day off of work, organized my parents coming down here to help me move. No communication to me was ever told unless I called and it was only 3 days before. At this time I Got Lisa cellphone number. September 25- After weeks of complaining my furniture arrived (not my dresser) & after getting a new moving company and having to pay them $650 out of my own money because Ashley wouldn’t deliver. My couch was wrong (the sectional is opposite than the way I ordered it) and my bed frame was broke. I called to complain when the person on the phone said “well can’t you just turn your couch against the other wall” mind you no refund or help was given to me then either. I called customer service where I got a $50 deduction (wow!!!) Today November 16- my dresser has arrived at the Liverpool location only days ago. The moving company that Lisa gave me is near impossible to reach out to. And I somehow still paid for shipping for Ashely and my own movers. I got a $400 gift card to your store as if I would ever think to do business there again. This has been the absolute worst experience of my life despite spending more than $3,000 at your store. You failed to hold up to your 8-12 week delivery standard and have done nothing to help me after I was lied to by my sales associates several times.

The sales experience was fine. However it did not work out due to covid. This is where the service was very poor. Getting a refund was very drawn out. At this point 2 weeks later I am still waiting for my refund. Would not recommend ashley unless you are getting your purchase that day. I have purchased from them before and did not have any problems.
I can’t say enough horrible things about this company. I tried to be understanding with the pandemic that things would be delayed, but I was informed my product, I purchased August 8th would be further delayed from the delivery date of October 24th. No one could give me a straightforward answer on when the “missing piece” would be in..eventually after asking multiple times and them working their way around the question, I was told January 12th 2021. Not to mention the 2 calls I have placed to the store directly that have continuously been ignored. I probably would’ve been much more understanding if their customer service wasn’t so atrocious. Completely horrible company.
I haven’t opened Facebook in quite a while. But I need to make this heard to everyone I know. Buckle up. If you’re considering buying furniture, DO NOT go to Ashley HomeStore. Nicole and I have had quite the headache dealing with them for the past 4 months. Yes, 4 months. Here’s a review I just left about them. If you’re in a hurry, there’s a “Too Long, Didn’t Read” at the bottom. “The only positive thing I can say about Ashely was that salesman that sold us our furniture was wonderful, and gave us a great deal. It may be worth mentioning that this salesman no longer works for Ashley. However, that was the highlight of our experience. Since then, we’ve had absolutely abysmal customer service. We ordered a couch and stools during that pandemic. Reasonably so, there was a delay with our order. We were given an 8 delivery time for our order. After 7 weeks, we were then told it was going to be another 4 weeks. Strike one. After another 4 weeks, then couch and stools were delivered, but the wrong stools were the incorrect model. Upon delivery, two workers showed up, one male one female. The female mentioned she was “unable to move the couch,” so I, THE CUSTOMER, had to help the male delivery worker carry my couch into the house. Strike two. Upon getting the couch into the house, they bumped into the trim around our front door and walls inside, leaving significantly noticeable damages that needed repair. We contacted our landlord about this and he states in our lease agreement of a fee per hour of labor to fix these damages. So we brought that up to customer services to reimburse us. However, since this was after three days since delivery they would not honor this. No where in our paperwork after purchasing this furniture or by any employee were we notified about their this policy, until after the three days was up. It was up to us to go out of our way ahead of time to figure that out, and assume they were going to damage our interior. Strike three. The incorrect stools were brought back to the store, and we were told they would get the correct stools a week later. After receiving no information confirming this, we called that week to have them tell us “we don’t have any in stock. We’ll have to place a new order for them.” This brought our new delivery date to add another 4 weeks on top of that. I am writing this review precisely 107 days since we ordered our furniture, and we still do not have our stools. Strike four. After calling a number of times to customer service about all of this, I have talked to at least 8 different employees, all directing me in different directions about who to contact to make this right. There was no organization to any part of our experience with shopping from here. Don’t let our suffering go in vain. DO NOT BUY FROM ASHLEY! Fork out the extra 15-20% for a more reputable furniture store. TLDR - Ashley messed up our delivery pretty bad, didn’t pay for damages they caused, and we still don’t have our stuff after 4 months. Oh, and you’ll have to help carry your own couch from the delivery truck. STAY AWAY!”
Awful experience at Liverpool store. Most unprofessional corporate business i have seen. I have called 10 times but no call back. I even complaint with their corporate and they said you will get a call back and no call back. Ordered furniture in July and i selected furniture which i could get in August at the most for my house warming. Its October. Didn’t even get a single piece. Called scheduling department and Lady was very nice and said will call you back in an hour and never called back. I understand the pandemic thing but I specifically told that i want furniture before my house warming. Delivery date was given in August. Its ok if it moves to Few days later but now they say November. Is this way of doing business? I called the store again and ask for the Manager i worked with and he picked up, put me on hold and i was on hold for one hour before i drove to the store. The Store manager was apologetic and I thought this would be it. But when i tried calling him he never responded. Left messages for him three times with three weeks gap but he never called back. Is this what is called #1 furniture store. Not even a single person in any department is helpful. Corporate, scheduling or store. Store never picks up, Scheduling said will call back and never did and Corporate has done nothing after the complain. Will never go back there.
Literally never shop here. We were given a "deal" but were simply up charged for what we bought. It took over 3 months to receive what we had ordered and both out dresser and bed frame came in with cracks and scratches on them.
My wife and I purchased a bedroom set , a dinning room set , and will be going back shortly for a living room set too . I had previously had a bad experience here , but thanks to Julia I have given them a second chance . Julia rocks !

Walked into the store to buy a couch, and Derik found me walking around and was a great help. I knew what couch I wanted before I got there and he found it quickly, gave me a great price, and I was on my way in less than 20 minutes. We purchased a mattress from Mohamed Jeylani in the Liverpool store. We were told that that mattress was part of the comfort guarantee. After receiving the mattress, we decided to exchange it, and were promptly told that our mattress was not part of the comfort guarantee. Mohamed admitted telling us about the comfort guarantee, and management would not stand behind the exchange. Management makes themselves invisible and won’t talk to us, provide an e-mail address or contact for a regional manager, of help in any way. Do not u set any circumstances purchase anything from Ashley Furniture. They do not stand behind their products or their own return policy that listed on the internet. Awful company.
I worked with salesman, Mohammed Jeylani. He was awesome! Very informative. It was very “relaxing” shopping around the store. Mo didn’t put any pressure on and made it a very comfortable shopping experience.
My husband and I bought a lake front home on Oneida this month and since we love coming up for vacation we needed furniture STAT! My husband has always loved Ashley so we visited this store and were instantly greeted by their new employee Kaleigh. She was absolutely amazing. She left us to do our thing but was there when we had questions. We took over two hours of her time (furniture shopping stresses me out) and she was extremely patient. She helped draw a scale of the room we were working on, walked backed and forth that massive store a million times bringing pieces of furniture to the couch and rug we had in mind. She worked on measurements, had ideas, and knew the store like the back of her hand. It was very impressive! She showed us all pieces that fit what I said I wanted and when I found out she was newer I was shocked! She was extremely knowledgeable and had a lot of great ideas. Not only that but she got us an amazing price on all the pieces and found the best discount that fit our budget. We bought a huge couch, Rug, and 4 other pieces! But wait.. there is more! We were not sure if the pieces would fit in the room so we put the order on hold and Kaleigh gave me her personal cell phone so when we got home we can let her know which would work and what size couch. I changed my mind again like 4 times. She was extremely patient and never made me feel like I was a pain. In addition, the manager Stephone was equally wonderful and assisted with the best discount and handling my payment over the phone once we decided everything. It was a very pleasant experience! We know the furniture will take a bit of time but I am confident we will love it! If you go here make sure you ask for Kaleigh!
My experience: 2/29- I purchased a dining table set, charged 3/2 for a dining set. 3/14- I purchased bar stools and a bed room set for our son, charged 3/16. I paid IN FULL, day of purchase WITH GUARANTEED DELIVERY, for 4/10 & 24. 3/23- I received a TEXT, saying they were shutting down until further notice. I tried calling to see when I could get my furniture. No answer. When I saw advertisements for AHS come across Facebook, offering discounts and free shipping across the US. I commented multiple times on the post, they told me to message them. 4/10- I sent a fb message, wanting info on options for getting my furniture. They pretty much stated it wasn’t their fault that NY shut down. I responded if I wasn’t allowed to cancel on them without 12% being kept it’s wrong they did without compensation to me. I GOT NO RESPONSE. I messaged them 3 days later, and they asked for my info again! I sent them the previous conversation, and got NO RESPONSE, I sent another message, NO RESPONSE. I continued to try calling. 5/08- I got a call asking me to set up a delivery date, phones were down but this time I got an email address. I scheduled the furniture to be delivered for 5/ 22. 5/19- they called saying I was not getting all my furniture. I tried to call back, no answer, emailed them, and was told they could get part of my order to me on the 22nd, but the rest would not be ready until the 12th but they couldn’t schedule two deliveries at once. I tried again and the person said that was false and set the delivery up for the 12th. 5/22- I was told it’d be delivered between 1-4. They showed up after 4, AHS sent the drivers back to a person’s house. (I was told if you aren’t home you get charged a fee and will NOT get furniture) They then had to take the table back because the legs didn’t fit. 6/11- I call to check what time the delivery would be on the 12th. There’s NO RECORD of me getting a delivery that day and my delivery is scheduled for the 26th and if I hadn’t been notified of the date change she apologized. After expressing my grievances & that I WOULD NOT be using them to furnish my basement, she offered me a $150 gift card to their store or $75 off for my “inconvenience” ($81 back with tax) but GUARANTEED ALL my furniture would be delivered the 26th. 6/20- Text message comes through, sent 24 minutes before closing, to call them about my delivery. Closed until Monday by the time I saw it. 6/22- I called and asked for a manager because my son's bedroom set wouldn’t be delivered until 8/14. Hours later a manager called me and explained that the manufacturer didn’t have the material to make the bed set but my bar stools would be delivered with my dining table. I wasn’t going to cancel unless things went wrong on the 26th. 6/ 26- Delivery shows up with ONLY the table. Driver called the manager, there was “no record” of bar stools being delivered for this day. THEN, the one leg to the table couldn’t be tightened because either the bolts were too long, or the hole wasn’t drilled deep enough. They allowed me to keep the table, and would send hardware in 1-3 weeks. I then called from my phone to cancel the 2nd order because I was over it at this point. Refund promised in 7-10 business days. See pictures to see bottom of table, yes those are stripped bolts, missing a bolt and staples sticking out. 7/10- STILL NO REFUND, this marked the end of “10 business days” when I inquired about my refund. I called every day for the next few days to ask what the status was. 7/17- 3 weeks after canceling, my refund appeared in my account, except it was $81 short. I’m assuming they took my “inconvenience” refund off this, although that wasn’t the agreement. 4 months of issues to have a wobbly table. So if you want to spend thousands of dollars on mediocre furniture, have the WORST customer service AND wait MONTHS for furniture, order from this place. Guaranteed to get the most disappointing, horrendous service of your life. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!
Really contemplated sharing my experience and after awhile I decided to. I was completely disappointed with the service I received. Especially because during my visit I told the sales associate I was just returning from deployment and needed this item ASAP, I also mentioned my terrible experience at another furniture store and he assured me I was in the right place and I will have a better experience. I pulled up what I wanted online and gave him the item number, after receiving my receipt I pointed out the storage section I wanted on the bed was not on the receipt, I was told not to worry as it would be corrected. After calling to get a delivery date I checked and the correction was not made, I was told to call the store which I called several times and text the associate who gave me their personal number if there were any issues, that was a waste of time. I kept asking about the correction to the point where I felt I was begging for the item I purchased. I ended up having to visit the store on my lunch break to get this fixed, the associate was not present but I was helped by a manager who was able to make the correction. I had to call for another delivery date, which of course was moved to a later date after I had already been waiting. I was upset as this could have been avoided and I had already made plans around the first delivery date. I made another plan based on the 2nd delivery date, still that date was not honored and once again put a damper in my plans, all I wanted was to get my delivery so I could go visit my family since I haven’t seen them since being been back from deployment. I got a call saying they needed to provide me with a new date. Luckily I asked a coworker if they were available to come by that day to receive the delivery for me, they moved their plans around thankfully and I went to see my family. Once again while I was with my family someone called about not being able to deliver on that date either, I just got frustrated and cancelled the order, I was very disappointed in the service I received at this location. I took my business elsewhere, where it was appreciated and I was treated as a customer and not someone begging. I hope no one else goes through the issues I had with this store. You cannot treat people this way.

We recently shopped at the Ashley Store in Liverpool, NY. We were extremely pleased with the entire experience. The store has a large variety of home decor to choose from at some really great prices. When we entered the store, we were greeted by sales associate Lisa Stephens and manager Shaun Pratt. They were both professional, courteous, and friendly. They assisted my husband and I with our selections and even stayed late to answer all of our questions. They really made the experience fun and by the time we were done we felt like we had made new friends. We would highly recommend seeing Shaun or Lisa at Ashley in Liverpool to anyone in the market for new home decor.

My wife and I had a discussion about what updates we wanted to do with our house. I wanted a new motorcycle and she wanted a new living room set (2nd one in 3 years). After several “talks” we came to an agreement. So we visited the Ashley HomeStore on rt. 57 July 5th. We worked with Malik for the better part of an hour and he did so well with our sale. He demonstrated the 3 P’s of salesmanship extremely well. He was patient, personable and professional. He allowed us to make a decision at our pace but was providing all the information as we needed it. Malik took us to the counter himself and completed the paperwork. I’m sure we will be back again.
Had a great experience at this store with Malik as our salesmen. He greeted us at the door and even measured every couch we were looking at to make sure it would fit in our living room before getting our hopes up. We got a great deal on a great living room set. Malik was patience with us as and walked through the entire store until we found our living room set. We had planned to only stop in Ashley and just look, we had plans to go to Raymor and Flanigan, but our great experience kept us from needing to go elsewhere!

We have been to this store many times since last July. We have always dealt with Stephone. He met us at the door the first time we went there, and has been our salesman ever since. He is very smart and knowledgeable about what we need. He has the patience to work with us(we can be difficult), he knows where to point us in the store if looking for something in particular. I would highly recommend going to this store and using Stephone as your sales person.

UPDATE: After ONE Year I am very disappointed. I also purchased the "protection plan" and they won't help me. The recliner does not work either. DO NOT PURCHASE THE PROTECTION PLAN IT'S A HUGE SCAM! The door on the Island came apart also this is after light use for ONE year. I went to Ashley Despite the couple bad reviews you can tell is either a twisted x employee or x girlfriend. Let me tell you I am happy I did. I already had furniture on hold at Raymour and flanigan but i was not 100% happy about it so i wanted to look around to be sure. The sales lady Lory M. Was super nice she made us feel comfortable answered all my questions and helped us find the perfect furniture. The manager gave us one heck of a deal we could not pass up. I ended up purchasing a living room set and a kitchen Island. I am currently waiting for delivery and will update my review once i get my items in. Thanks Lory. :) Update: it did take 22 days for the furniture to arrive the delivery people were really nice and set everything up. I love my new furniture thanks :)

Fuada helped me find the perfect couch for my home.. she took her time explaining to me all the details. She provided me with excellent customer service and was very polite. I have told all my co workers to shop here and ONLY ask for Fuada. I will be back to buy all my furniture from Ashley furniture as long as fuada works there.

I had the most pleasant experience at this store. My sales woman, Fuada, made the experience that much more pleasurable. She helped me figure out which bed was the best fit for me. She was very engaged And actually listened to my needs and wants and took it from there. She had one of the best adequate sales I have seen in a very long time and I’ve been shopping for furniture for many years now.

I ordered a couch and was told it would be 4 weeks for delivery. Then after 3 weeks they delayed it another 2 weeks. Two days before the couch was supposed to be delivered the second time I got a call pushing the delivery date back a month!!! That's a total of 10 weeks to get a couch!! I would not recommend getting furniture from here unless you are okay with waiting an undetermined amount of time!! And they did not offer any type of consolation and terrible customer service!!

I was fortunate to have a sales associate named Fuada assist me. She spent almost an hour with me, as I needed to take time making a choice between 2 different living room sets. She gave me the helpful information about microfiber versus leather versus standard fabric, as I have 4 grandkids. First & foremost though, she wanted me to be absolutely happy about my final choice. I really enjoyed her assistance, and her very pleasing personality. And she worked out a price that was at/slightly under what I had expected. Can’t wait to get my new, very handsome Ashley living room furniture!

DO NOT GO TO ASHLEY FURNITURE for furniture or any other needs. I've had the WORST experience. Originally I went to look at beds because we wanted a new bed and mattress. We picked out a king sized bed mattress and frame. Three to four weeks after purchasing this bed and waiting for it to be delivered we were notified that the bed had been discontinued and they were not selling them anymore. The store was unsure if I'd be able to get it. They told me that I could have the floor model for the same price and everything. I said now I have to think about it. So after deciding that I really wanted the bed, they took almost $600 because it was going on clearance but of course didn't offer me that after it was discontinued. I set up for the bed to be delivered which they only come on Friday's to this area. They were supposed to come and set up the bed with "white glove delivery" 1/24 but were unable to because there was something missing??? Somehow? Wasn't explained that. Took $100 more off for the inconvenience. Now today they are here delivering the bed. I was told it was a 4:30pm-6:30pm delivery time which seemed pretty late. Had my wisdom teeth out two days ago and SO not home to move the old bed out so when I got a 2pm automated call saying that they'd be here in 20 minutes I had to go upstairs and get the whole room re arranged and broken down. When I came back downstairs to ask if they'd be able to complete the 4:30 time frame because of my wisdom teeth and no one able to help with the bed they said they'd call the manager. They left, without telling me anything. The manager called me saying "no one was available at time of delivery, and that I then refused delivery". I said please have them come back and deliver it now, I will make sure everything is moved. NOW. They're back and moved everything upstairs. The bed, mattress, box spring, etc. are all in the room and then he has me sign. I say "you guys are going to get the bed all hooked up and installed right" and he said "they said just to drop it off". Now I'm here so frustrated and upset that I'm almost crying out of frustration. IF I WENT THROUGH ALL OF THIS & PAID FOR "WHITE GLOVE DELIVERY" I SHOULD GET IT. Now to make sure my hardwood floors that have been refinished aren't scratched and dented. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS UNLESS YOU WANT HASSLE AFTER HASSLE. No
I really dislike being followed like a pack of wolves tracking their prey and that's what the sales people do...the showroom is really nice as is the selection. Prices are a bit high.

Shaun Pratt helped my wife and I with finding our furniture. He was very personable and made sure we were comfortable with the furniture that we wanted to buy, he also showed us a variety of options regarding our interests and he patiently answered all of our questions. Shaun even helped us map out where our furniture might be placed in our living room. Overall he did a phenomenal job, he was very helpful and we plan on contacting him for additional information when we are in need of more furniture.
Mohamed is the best sales guy and honest. If you want to go to someone great and honest and cool he is your guy. Will always buy from him from now on.
Don't ever buy anything from the Liverpool store.... We were told buy the sales man that our furniture would come in at the latest four weeks. Which was followed by a statement saying that I am just saying four weeks because I have to but it won't take that long. Soon to find out we had to make our own call to have a delivery day picked out after we already paid. They said it actually will take four weeks and we dealt with it. Then 3 weeks later we get a call from them saying only some things would be ready and other parts of the bed wouldn't. So it will take even longer. Don't buy from this store
Update to a prior 5 star review. Ashley Home Store logistics are garbage. Promised 4 weeks for delivery and we're now on the second rescheduled delivery due to "manufacturer delays". Should have been here 12/21/2019 and now we're looking at February 2020 delivery.
High prices , bait and switch sales staff
Trust your gut. Went to Raymour and they had the sofa set for MUCH cheaper than Ashley. They offered it with free delivery. I decided to give Ashley a try and see if they could beat the price. They matched it (without the free delivery). My main issue, I ordered the couch on 11/30, it's 12/31 and I still don't have the couch. The receipt said 12/21, but they told me "it's just an estimate". The new estimate is 1/13. Takes a month and a half to get a couch lol. Not worth the hassle.

I Purchased a Bed in a Box (needed to fit up my stairs at home) on December 9th at the Route 57 location in Liverpool, NY. I explained this was a Christmas gift and that I didn't want this yet. I was assured it was in stock anyways and would be tagged for me to pick up on December 21st. I went in December 21st at 5:20 after my second job not realizing pick up is Tuesday through Saturday till 5 PM. I asked if there was any way i could grab it myself as it was in a box. The "manager" Allison then told me she would do that but it appears that the mattress was indeed there and it was sold to me but it was resold and shipped out. They didn't have the mattress. I told her I wanted to talk to a manager and she informed me she was the manager. She worked on it for about an hour while I was in the store. Wanting to give me a 10" mattress I ordered a 12" (I want the extra thickness as a box spring wont fit up the stairs and it goes on a platform bed frame). She said she had a regular (mine was a Hybrid) mattress that was more expensive. This was not in a box I cannot get it up my stairs so I could not do this. She said she had her bedding manager in the Batavia Store which the computer showed they had one there and she was coming back to Syracuse Monday the 23rd. I explained I am having a procedure done and will be unable to drive to pick it up but might be able to get someone. She (Allison) offered to deliver it personally if the other manager could bring it the 2-1/2 hours from Batavia to Syracuse. This could work but no one could verify physically if the mattress was there. Allison gave me her cell number and was going to call me Monday with the findings of the Batavia Mattress, No calls, No Voice mails. Monday comes and its 350 PM I receive a call from Ashley trying to schedule my Pick up. Pick up of what? So I call back (PS don't press for scheduling or for customer service they will not pick up the phone but they will every time for "sales") I called Allison and it went to her voice mail on her cell 3 times. So i called Sales at her store where Walter didn't want to hear it and hung up on me. I go back to the store where i Purchased the mattress from and explain what is happening. 2-1/2 hours later I left the store being called a Liar by an employee on Facebook that none of this happened and I probably didn't even go to the store only called the 800 customer service line...AS I WAS SITTING IN THE STORE! Also Being said by the customer service rep that he would say something but was raised by a good women to respect his ELDERS, as well as being Product Shamed by asking if I purchased a clearance Item or a Bed in a box. The manager here said they had a few of these mattresses in Batavia and was emailing critical email to see if it could get on a truck in the morning coming to the other store in Fairmount for me to pick up Tuesday the 24th. So other than getting my money back its wait and pray. She called me Christmas Eve at 830 am and said the mattress DID NOT make the truck. I told her to cancel my order not to even think about charging a restocking fee and if it didn't happen immediately there would be repercussions. It is now the day after Christmas but she said "MY Bank" could take up to a week to process the credit. As far as I am concerned the mattress being 2-1/2 hours away it should have been shipped overnight directly to me. I could drive and pick it up though she said... On Christmas Eve day, but they couldn't get it to me. Their Customer Service is more than lacking it is straight insulting and hurtful. I will never go to Ashley and will make sure everyone I know or come in contact with see the messages the rude customer service person wrote on Facebook and how they cannot even get a mattress correct. Oh and if you spend more money it is still a no customer service scenario, a friend of mine spent 10K after losing her home to a fire and her stuff came damaged not once but twice and missing parts! Finally she couldn't wait again having NO furniture and settled they gave her a whole 100.00 STORE CREDIT for the damaged furniture she paid full price for.
Very bad experience with Ashley, I bought sofa a month ago and Ashley were supposed to deliver it in four weeks to my home, now after 3 weeks waiting they called me that I have to wait for another 20 days.

Delivery estimates are embarrassing. Ordered Halloween Day, was promised to get it before Thanksgiving then was told December 19th and now on December 13th am told it might be delivered December 30th but even that is uncertain. 2-4 week delivery has turned into 2-4 month delivery.
Derik was very helpful in getting us our furniture for the Holiday. He allowed us time to shop without any pressure. I would highly recommend working with Derik and visiting the store.

SAVE YOURSELF. STAY AWAY FROM ASHELY. Because it's not possible to give negative stars I have to leave it blank. This has by far been the worst customer service I have EVER experienced. I have moved and bought furniture 16 times over the years and thought I should give Ashley. BIG MISTAKE! We spend almost $10,000 on furnishing an apartment. On purchase we were told it would be 2-4 weeks without sales rep, SCOTTY, telling us no more than 4 weeks. They tell you to buy the furniture and once you have the bill number you have to call the next 2-3 business days to schedule delivery. We call and they tell us 6 WEEKS! We had no choice but to agree. 3 days before delivery date they are too call and advise us of the 3 hour window for scheduled delivery date. However, they had the audacity to tell us during this call that it is now delayed another 4 WEEKS!!! Not even the mattress is available, they don't even make that at the store...when I called I heard excuses after EXCUSES. Every time I heard the insincere "I'm sorry" I asked what they would do about it. They said they are doing everything they can, which is handing me half a couch and bed even a week later when our delivery was set for 2 days AWAY! ABSOLTELY THE WORSE PLACE TO EVER BUY FURNITURE FROM. I DON'T WRITE REVIEWS OFTEN! BUT PLEASE SAVE YOUSELF. SUPER UNRELIABLE, SASSY, DISHONEST, MONEY HUSTLING, DECIEVING, INSINCERE, RUDE, DUMB LIARS!!!

****BUYER BEWARE****AVOID **** We purchased furniture for our new home. Ashley representatives said they cannot give a date until the purchase is completed (read as - take your money). They say it takes a couple weeks and we will receive a call with a delivery date. We received a call saying the furniture will arrive in almost two months. We asked for a refund. They do not give refunds until the furniture is delivered. Terrible way to do business. We went to Raymour and Flanagan down the street and received excellent customer service with a delivery date of 48 hours. As I’m writing this review someone chimed in and said their mother had to wait 12 weeks. The reason has nothing to do with manufacturing as Ashley using the profit from your furniture to essentially have the resources to make the subsequent customer’s furniture. Twisted and harmful way to financially operate. **Update** ordered our furniture in November. Supposed to arrive in December. Now it’s been rescheduled to January as of today. Avoid Avoid Avoid Avoid.
We were very impressed with "Mo's" greeting when we walked in the door. His experience, attitude and knowledge of the product and the competitors were appreciated. He did not pressure us and knows the inventory like the back of his hand not wasting our time with the limited space we were trying to fill. A few days later we were getting ready for our furniture delivery and had a question about how to take apart our current love seat to remove from the room. While Mo was with a customer and I needed an answer soon. Scotty who answered our call was able to walk us through taking apart the couch. I dealt with Stephone...he was fantastic! He listened to what I was looking for, helped me find several options based on my style desires and most importantly, NEVER pressured me to buy anything! When I walked in the door, I wasn't bombarded by sales folks. I was greeted, introduced to the person at the desk and given the opportunity to walk around and browse on my own without a tailgater. I definitely will not recommend them to anyone. I went into the clay store and the gentleman overcharged my account in extra $700 on accident which froze my account for an entire week. It took a whole month before they can even deliver my two bunk beds. They were two hours behind schedule when they delivered it. Not to mention they claim that clumps all of the bed frames now they're scratched and dented. They stayed at my house for 3 hours and I heard nothing but banging upstairs with them so-called assembling the bunk beds. They didn't even know how to put it together they had to have a third man come and help. I don't even want to talk about the missing screws and extra pieces laying around my kids room when I finally went upstairs. Very disappointed and dissatisfied will be contacting the higher-ups in the morning.

I am revising my previous review to reflect my updated experience with Ashley Furniture. The salesperson I worked with was great. Unfortunately, I ended up paying way more than I expected due to their shady, scammy financing. I didn't have to finance the furniture but thought why not since I had had only positive experiences with 0% financing with Raymour and Flanigan and Rooms to Go in the past. I won't go into the details but their financing is SHADY. Just appalling. I will not do business with them again, not will I refer people to them.

On 9/28/2019 I visited Ashley HomeStore for the first time to look at mattresses. The sales people were pleasant and greeted me at the door, but allowed me to browse without anyone hovering. When I was ready to ask questions, I worked with Shaun Pratt, who was amazing. He took the time to find out what I was looking for in a mattress, showing me all the mattresses that met what I was looking for and, despite me being indecisive and trying out each mattress multiple times, still kept his patience and no pressure. I ended up buying the newest mattress that just came out to the store- the Beautyrest Black Hybrid (Ultra Plush, I wanted something really soft!), and I can't wait until it is delivered! They even said they will remove the old mattress for me! I highly recommend Ashley, and especially Shaun Pratt, if you want a new mattress (and I will be going back soon).
If you go to this location, look for "scotty" great person and not your typical pushy salesperson, willing to help you find exactly what you need in a relaxed atmosphere!

We purchased a sectional from Stephone who was so great from the minute we walked into the store. He was helpful and NOT pushy or overbearing with us in the least. Ashley has an amazing warranty which we did purchase and being that our sectional is very light in color, it will likely come into use withing the 5 years covered. The furniture we chose is so similar to more pricey brands, I was amazed. Can't wait to see it in our new home!

Visited the Liverpool location after literally MONTHS of searching for furniture for our new home. Sales rep Derik Sharkey on both occasions assisted us with a very good knowledge base, ability to think outside the box to help us create our vision and with utter professionalism and patience. We can’t thank him enough for his patience and assistance in what could sometimes seem like a never ending journey( if you ask my husband) ! Can’t wait to get our new furniture. We went in to finalize what pieces of furniture we wanted and the salesman Derek was awesome. It was a busy day being the weekend before Labor Day and Derek still made us feel we werent neglected. Our dog Bella also was able to come in which made the experience less stressful.

We had only intended to look at a few things at Ashley, with no intention of buying anything. The Sales Associate, Stephone, was so helpful, and gave us such a good deal that we couldn't pass up purchasing what we were looking for. Beautiful selection, excellent customer service, reasonably priced and well made furniture! Our experience was so great that we've been back twice already for some random pieces, and will continue to shop here in the future for home furnishing needs.
Incredibly disappointed. We ordered a couch over 2 weeks ago and the delivery date was 8/17. We call and they tell us it won’t be there until September 9th because THEY forgot to ship it. I ask for a refund and they tell me they can offer me $50 dollars off of my $1200 purchase which is just a slap in the face at this point. We also kept being told to call different people and after being told to call our sales guy, Mckenzie was supposed to call us back in a few minutes and never did.
I'd highly recommend Ashley in liverpool! Wasnt like any furniture experience I've had before. Derik Sharkey was phenomenal!!! Amazingly personable(we even brought our 3&4 yr old, and he was great at engaging them When he didnt even have to). He wasnt pushy at all about a sale! My biggest pet peeve is going shopping and the consultant going straight to the highest priced most gaudy item in the store. Derik on the other had showed us some great pieces of furniture reasonably priced straight away. Def check out Ashley in liverpool. Best experience I've had in a furniture store in a while.
I am truly amazed with this store & it’s vast selection of modern & classic pieces. My fiancé & I just bought a house & have went to 9 different furniture stores until finally driving out to Ashley’s in Liverpool. We literally furnished our entire home with just 2 trips. Although this store has an amazing selection, we couldn’t have completed our vision without the help of Derik Sharkey!!! He was AMAZING!!! Not only did he help us find everything we were looking for but he gave us a GREAT price. We were so please with our ENTIRE experience! I will not go back into the store unless Derik is working. He was simply the best. After exhausting myself in 9 different stores, this place was our lucky #10 & I couldn’t be more happy! We’ve been coming to Ashley for more than 15+ years, we’ve always had an amazing customer service experience. However this time, we were greeted by Shaun Pratt, I had two young girls with me, he kept tucking in his shirt 3-4 times in the 2 minutes that he greeted us, it’s was extremely uncomfortable. We started looking around, he circles back to us in 5 minutes and starts suggesting that I should shop online. I was shocked, he than proceeded to threaten me by saying that he controls the discount I will be receiving. I asked the manager to get me a new sales person which he did. We ended up buying more 5,000 worth of furniture because John S gave us excellent customer service. 5 stars for John S. I’m giving the over all store one start because of how awful the first sales person was, and he was smirking the whole time we were there. I have never seen a sales person this unprofessional and quiet frankly very creepy.

I would give zero stars if it were possible. I just moved to Liverpool and was only looking around for what I might want to purchase once I closed on my house. Salesman Tom was a fast talker and promised all kinds of discounts with a guarantee that the order could be canceled with NO PROBLEM if it was going to be too big for the room! Since they were having a Memorial Day sale, and since Tom offered this GUARANTEE, I purchased $6,000 worth of furniture. Tom said he would make the delivery date for almost 2 months after the sale so I could measure the rooms once I closed on my house. Well, I closed on my house, measured the rooms and was disappointed to learn that the furniture would not fit. I was even more disappointed when I went to cancel the order and was charged a 12% cancellation fee! The “manager” Shawn was a complete jerk and did not care that one of his employees misrepresented the company’s policy! All he could say was that it’s in the contract and offer a credit. I don’t care if it’s in the contract (that is given to you AFTER you pay for your order) because I specifically ASKED Tom if he was sure it would not be a problem to cancel the order if it wouldn’t fit! Salesman Tom has since moved out of the state and can not be held accountable for his unprofessional and sketchy behavior. However, Shawn is in a position to be apologetic and to credit back the 12% fee since I was 100% misled. Never ever doing business with Ashley again and I will share my experience with anyone who is thinking of doing business with them. Buyer beware.
Worst customer service I've ever experienced.
I just purchased the Darcy living room set this afternoon. I worked with a very nice and professional salesman name Mohamed Jeylani. Mohamed made himself available and answered all of my questions when I needed him. I truly appreciated that he let me browse the store without him lurking over my shoulder at all times. The store is stunning and feels very homey and not at all like a traditional showroom. There was a very pleasant blonde woman at the customer service desk that also assisted with my transaction, and she made a very nice impression. The only negative feedback that I have to offer about my experience, is that some of the employees (not Mohamed) need to be mindful about what they are discussing amongst themselves when customers are in their presence. Additionally, I found it off putting that there was a salesman at the front entrance podium with his head resting down watching something loudly on his phone and he did not acknowledge me while walking in or exiting. Overall, I had a very positive experience. I would highly recommend others to work with Mohamed Jeylani for their furniture purchases. I also have piece of mind knowing that I have the Platinum Ultra Premium Furniture Protection Plan to insure my investment. I have always had good luck with Ashley products and I expect no different with my most recent purchase. Thanks for your patience and assistance today Mohamed!
I would recommend avoiding Ashley Homestore and at the very least the one in Camillus, NY. The initial order went fine, but since then they've been a nightmare. The purchased items are already over a month late with no true delivery date set yet (as of this review). They provide no updates to their customers if delivery dates get extended, so it's completely on you to follow up. Following up is beyond difficult, b/c they put you on hold for as long as 45 minutes and likely longer if you call at the wrong time. Once you get a hold of them, they seem confused and just push your date off even further. Do yourself a favor and go to China Towne.
I had an issue with a set of recliners they wouldn’t do a refund I had to find something else for an exchange, we did! Told me a delivery date of 6/11 called yo verify the date and was told they are on back order won’t be in until the end of August. I had to fight with customer service for a refund which I still haven’t received because I can’t get delivery to call me back with a pick up date. I’ve called 5 times and this morning at 9:00 the girl me she get an answer and call me within an hour it now almost 3:00 no call once again. Customer Service is awful and nothing is done at the store.

So let me say that my friend had a housefire on Thanksgiving morning. She was given 2 100.00 dollar gift cards. Do you know that today when she went to use those cards in the Liverpool store, that she was told she had to know that name of the person who bought those cards before she could use them. And because the price went over, she was told she couldn't use her ATM card for the difference, that she had to go to the ATM and withdrawal the money to pay the difference. When she did that, the cashier deleted one of those cards! She ended up paying over the 100.00 dollars because by now, she was frustrated, paid it, and left. Since when do you have to know the name of the person who bought gift cards? And since when do you not correct your own mistake as a cashier?
I am so happy with our experience at Ashley HomeStore in Liverpool. Our salesperson, Mohamed Jeylani, was helpful and knowledgeable. He was never pushy and gave us excellent advice. After we ordered, he did not hesitate to help us with a question about our dining set. We will definitely recommend and return when we are ready for our bedroom suite and mattress. We order a complete living room set, a dining set and a counter height set for our breakfast nook.

We purchased furniture which was suppose to be delivered on May 11....we get a,call that only the table and chairs is ready to be delivered so we tell them we will wait till all can be as we dont need to take more time off work as tgey cant give a good time for delivery...Then they call and say everything is being delivered oyesterday...my husband asks for afternoon so he doesn't have to take a full day off work...Of course tgey cant so he takes a full day off....they deliver the couch...chair...coffee ottoman.....and tgey go to put the legs on the dining Room table to find it is damaged wood falling off.....now we are without a table for longer....as they have to come again....unbelievable.....we have never been so disappointed with a furniture company....of course tgey do nothing to compensate us for our wasted time and hardship...we will never go there again regardless that we loved their furniture....so our next big purchase coming up won't be at Ashley! I first purchased an assortment of clearance furniture and was happy with the products. As I was the clearance section I found a shelf I was interested in, I was told that it was $600. I came back a few weeks later to purchase the shelf. I was then told it was not for sale and that it was a "custom built" display piece, it was being used to hold a boxed unbuilt item and 3 pillows. I was taken back given the mixed information and the fact that I could not purchase furniture in a furniture store. Disappointed with my interaction with this store.
When coming here we were greeted by a very nice salesman. When we found the items I wanted to purchase it turned out there was a 5 week delay on delivery and when I approached the manager he was extremely rude and unapologetic, he kept insisting his store was number one and he did not have to apologize. Not coming back.

Went by looking looking for some items to complement a new sofa set we got and were relentlessly harassed by a salesman named Tom. Not sure what hardball sales school he went to, but my business went to a nice lady at Raymour & Flanigan who had the decency to answer my questions when I had them without relentlessly hounding me and my family all over the showroom even after being directly asked to go away. Two stars for having some nice items, sorry we couldn't do business.

The store has a large variety of home decor to choose from.When I entered I was greeted by Sean, the manager. He was professional and courteous. He assisted me with my selections. When the merchandise was delivered I was equally impressed with the professionalism of the delivery crew. I am very pleased with everything I purchased and would highly recommend seeing Sean at Ashley in Liverpool to anyone in the market for new home decor.

This store and the people that work here are amazing. The sales people care so much for their customers and help them to get them the best prices for their purchases. They match prices and don't give you a hard time about it. Have shopped there several times and bought two apartments worth of furniture. We recently had a delivery issue and went back into the store and spoke to Allison the manager about it. She was so nice and so helpful. If anyone is looking for furniture I would definitely recommend going to Ashley in Camillus before anywhere else. They have such a huge selection. You will definitely find what you are looking for there for the best price.

After the first hour there after much going back and forth on costs, and our salesperson asking other people how to answer our questions... we decide to buy a bedroom set to find out it was discontinued, but we could buy the damaged floor model for $800 with us picking up. Nope. We will look elsewhere. A more painful experience than childbirth... twice combined.

First and last experience in this store. I am highly upset to get a notification on my credit report I opened a credit card.. which I did not authorize or need because I was not financing. I paid full in cash. When I was brought to the kiosk to enter my info, I thought it was just for the sale. The salesman did not tell me what I was for until a receipt printed out for financing approval. I questioned it, and he told me it was just a soft credit check... then WHY do I now have a credit card???? I am furious and canceling my order. I will never do business with them again.
This occurred at the Liverpool location.. We purchased a couch set and purchased the 5 year extended warranty. It felt like buying a car with a used car salesman they tried to over charge us by 1,400.00 the internet price was a lot less for the same furniture. So we complained they were reluctant to give us the internet price but eventually did but not before they said the internet delivery fee was going to be a lot more than their store delivery price but the internet delivery price was also 100.00 cheaper. That was just the start. After purchasing the furniture we were going to get a 300.00 gift card upon delivery of furniture well they forgot the gift card and one of the couches had a bent frame. They refused to put it back on the truck and said a tech would be out to look at it. After 3 hrs the recliner mechanism broke! I called them and now there sending a replacement couch. Now that we received our 300.00 gift card we went to use the card and after picking out a mattress we were told it was not covered by the gift card and a Ashley gift card is not a gift card it's a store credit and it did not include mattress. But no where in the disclosure did it say does not cover mattress. So I had a few choice words to the manager of the store who was a complete ass. So we left and called another store and come to find out the mattress we wanted was covered in the store credit so we went to that store and completed the transaction with no issues. But there gift card is not a gift card it's a store credit and has many disclaimers that are not listed so beware! Now with there extended warranty we were told if we don't use the extended warranty in the 5 year period we would "get our money back" so what there disclaimer say is that you will get it back in a store credit to use you don't actually get your money back so now you will have another crappy store credit. You will be lied to and deceived at this store I recommend you find another place to spend your hard earned money!! Hope this helps your decision.
TLDR: Good in store, horrible delivery service. You have to pay $100 for delivery, but they will only deliver on a specific day not of your choosing, they won't give you a time, and to try to get it on a different day is impossible. So basically you pay $100 for them to deliver it only when it's not too much of a bother for them. FULL STORY: First the information they give you is wrong. The "important delivery information" says call between 8am - 6pm Monday - Thursday. I called at 8:15 on Tuesday and it tells you the hours are 8:30-6. Then I called back at 8:30 and had to wait on hold for 10 minutes for "high call volume. " Then a guy answers only to tell me the wait is going to be longer because they're taking care of calls that came in last night. I decide to call back later. Second call. Finally get ahold of someone. They tell me they can't deliver to my area till mid April. I'm calling on March 12th, the earliest they tell me is April 12th. I ask them what time of day because I work on Fridays. They can't even say if it will be morning or evening, so you have to be home all day. Not even cable companies pull that nonsense anymore. I tell the girl it has to be a Wednesday or Thursday because those are my days off. She says ok, then she says she can have it delivered Monday, Friday, or Saturday. Wow, ok, thanks for not listening to a word I said. I repeat that it has to be a Wednesday or Thursday. She says she has to contact the "logistics manager" and she'd call me back. She never called back. Day 2. Third call. Same situation. I explain everything this time with a different girl. She says she has to call the "delivery manager" and she'll call me back. I decide to go into the store and talk to a manager. The manager has no control over shipping, but she looks up my info and it says that the girl I talked to did put in the request and I'll receive a phone call by 4:30. She also says there are no notes from the day before, so the original girl didn't actually do anything. I ask her to simply cancel my order, but she can't do that. The only people that can cancel an order is the delivery department. Fourth call. Someone, supposedly a manager from corporate this time, calls me around 4:15. She says she's calling to set up my delivery and offers me. . . . . . April 12. I explain the situation to her and she says to get a different day, she'll have to call the "shipping manager. " I explain that the first 2 girls I talked to were supposed to do that, and this phone call was supposed to be the one where they had already talked to this mysterious manager who no one seems to know the correct title for, but absolutely, most definitely exists. She says she's looking at my info and none of this is in my info. Even though the manager at the store could see the info, and she even added more to the file. So after 2 wasted days and dealing with a completely incompetent staff, I ended up canceling the order. This was the Liverpool store.
Store(in Liverpool) had great selection and the sales person Derek was friendly but while searching for furniture he said at least three times that it takes up to eighteen days for arrival because it was made to order. I got home and called the next day to schedule the delivery and they told me it would be 35 days. So after I got upset they rushed it and made it for 28 days and went on telling me that their policy is 14-28 days for delivery. I said ok that's better than 35. Then on receipt it said I ordered a twin/full frame for my queen mattress so I called and the manager Sean said it's a glitch in computer and that it will fit my queen. It got here and of course it doesn't fit! So I probably will never be back unless it's worth it
I absolutely love the Liverpool location. This location is for sure better than the Camillus location. Walters helped my friend and I look at furniture and he was an absolute delight! The atmosphere is amazing and so inviting. He also got my friend a very good deal. If you leave without any of their furniture you will regret it, I promise you. I bought my sectional and bedroom set from this store, and I love it! Thank you Ashley’s!!! 🥰🥰🥰

Shawn was super helpful and found exactly what I was looking for, in and out 20 minutes.
I purchased several thousand dollars worth of furniture and bedding from the Ashley HomeStore in Camillus, and as part of the deal I received a $100 gift card redeemable for anything in the store. I found a painting on the Ashley website that I liked for $128, so I headed to the Liverpool store to see if they had one available. They did, but they wanted $228 for it. I pointed out that the same painting is listed on their own website for $128, and requested that they match that. They refused. This essentially renders my $100 gift card useless, since they're charging $100 more to purchase an item in-store vs. online. The best part is, they don't allow you to use gift cards to pay for online purchases! That was conveniently not mentioned to me when I made my initial purchase. I tried working with guest relations, specifically with Erin H. She was extremely unhelpful, condescending, and dismissive. I'll also mention that when I purchased a $3,000 mattress from them, the Sales Rep stated that it came with a "90-day guarantee," which meant I could exchange or return the mattress if unhappy within 90 days; I just had to pay $150 shipping. I attempted to exchange my mattress for one that was less firm within the guarantee window, and I was told I could exchange it, but would have to forfeit the difference in value between the mattress I purchased and the one I wanted ($800). I'm shocked and appalled that this retailer treats their customers this way, and would strongly urge everyone to look elsewhere if you're in the market for new furniture.
