When I bought a couch in May, the sales person told me he was going to throw in a free pillow. Now, he and even the manager of the store, are going back on his promise, telling me I must have misheard! My friend was with me and heard exactly what I heard. Beware of the Middletown New York store!

The manager April is atrocious to put it mildly. From being overly aggressive with the “warranty” then ignoring my questions about all of the federal consumer complaints about the warranty program. Then her next mistake of telling my fiancée to pay for her order in full ( against the sales representative telling. To leave a deposit ) promising that the furniture will get delivered as soon as I say I’m ready. I’ve been ready and told her I’m ready and now we’re waiting for god knows how long. We had a whole house to furnish, our first house too. Now we won’t spend another cent with Ashley until April is gone from the company.

Stopped by Ashley Furniture to browse for a new mattress. I was greeted promptly by a very polite young man named Shavoy. He was very knowledgeable with all the mattresses they had. Soon we were joined by Ethel who happens to be the store manager. She saw I was very interested in a particular mattress. She proceeded to lift the head and feet on this particular mattress. Not only did I buy a mattress but I also purchased the lift mechanism as well. Ethel & Shavoy were absolutely amazing! They are an asset to the Ashley Brand! My fiancé and I went to Ashley’s looking for a sectional in December of 2023 and fell in love with a couch with help from Jess. We wanted to wait until we closed on the house we were in the process of buying. That didn’t happen as quick as we thought and set us back to March of 2024 to move in. We came back to Ashley’s to see Jess again and to purchase the couch we fell in love with only to be disappointed that Ashley’s had discontinued the couch in the color we wanted. Jess and Brad were determined to help us find a different couch that was similar. Jess and Brad were very patient with us and listened to what we wanted and knew their inventory very well but we still had our hearts set on the first couch we had picked. They both went above and behind and pulled some strings that got us the configuration we needed in that discontinued color! We are so appreciative and grateful for them both and will be returning in the near future to furnish the rest of our home with the help from Jess and Brad from Ashley’s in Middletown!

The sectional we wanted was discontinued and they were able to over ride their computer system and pull all the pieces we needed to make ours from across their warehouses They made the experience enjoyable and painless. I been searching for a small sofa. Jess greeted me and showed me all the selections. I was so impressed she spoke patiently, no pressure. I fell in love with one of sofas. I have been 2 other stores and I didn’t get the attention and patience that Jess showed me. I plan to do my shopping with Ashley from now on. I recommend everyone to shop at Ashley. April the assistant sales manager was great. I didn't have to go into too much detail before she knew what I was looking for in a mattress. She set it up where it would be delivered within the time frame that I was looking for.
I was in desperate need of a new couch and sofa, and when I walked in April greeted me and proceeded to show me sofas that I had interest in. I was looking for modular cloud like modern sectionals. April sold me several different designs color Swatches and different price points I settled on something within my budget and was in and out and under 30 minutes. It was a seamless experience. I look forward to sitting on my new sectional. Thanks again April. I will be back in the future for other furniture needs.

Very disappointed told us to call when we’re ready to get it delivered and it will take 3 days then when called and have it delivered they told us it’s not available and won’t be available not until end of March which is a month from now which is unacceptable since we got rid of our old couch already and we were looking forward for our new living room set. Won’t do business anymore and won’t recommend this place to anyone.

Let’s Begin… My partner and I have been looking for months for the right couch. But there was always something we didn’t like. This is our first home and we both wanted to make sure each purchase was very intentional and something we both liked. One day we strolled into Ashley furniture in middletown NY. Upon walking in we are greeted by the team on site. Everyone was friendly, well dressed and laid back. This we immediately liked by me personally as I am quite anxious as it can be overwhelming in some retail furniture spaces when everyone bombards you with options. We looked around for a bit then we saw her! Lorenza 2 piece sectional with oversized ottoman. As we we were checking the out couch (sitting laying, enjoying lol) . Jessica walked up and gave us some details about the couch. A perfect way to approach. She clearly saw we were interested but didn’t pressure us. She allows us to sit on it and even showed us different options.. Just so we could be absolutely sure that this couch was the one! She even sat with us and gave us all of the pricing, & financing options on the case we needed to go that route.. We told Jessica we would like to move forward but wanted to wait a week to mull it over. We’ve ran the pros and cons against another couch we were thinking about. It really was no competition haha. What really drove us to choose Ashley furniture, was not only the couch set but also Jessica’s approach. She was cool, calm, informative and genuine. She even gave us her phone number in case we had questions (which I did and Jessica gave prompt responses) and left us with a pricing packing with all payment options. Boom a week passes and we are ready to buy the couch. We enter the space a bit after 12 and are immediately greeted by the team, asked if we wanted water or tea. Jessica was front and center and remembered us, as we were closing out as an extra bonus. We got a unexpected discount! The check out process was quick and understandable. We left the space excited and happy. I couldn’t asked for a better sales person. And team. This particular store location is a Gem 💎Thank you for your patience Jessica. The service was so nice, and the whole team was amazing.
I didn't actually shop here but the staff was really great to me. My partner and I were stuck in the parking lot with a dead battery and a frequent customer of theirs gave me a portable jumper but it needed to be charged. The staff invited us in to charge the jumper and gave us a comfortable place to sit and offered us coffee or tea. They treated us the same as they would a frequent customer, knowing we weren't there to shop. I really appreciated their hospitality and generosity, especially on such a cold night. When i am ready to buy something I'd love to give this place my business.
Very friendly but not aggressive sales person assisted us. She let us shop around and was available for our questions. We were able to agree on a package that worked for our room, didn’t try to over sell more items than needed. Price was reasonable. Quantity of furniture was extremely better than Bobs.

Walked in knowing we needed a new sofa but weren’t exactly sure what kind. The sales people were friendly and knowledgeable. Not inexpensive but very good quality. An hour later, we made a purchase.
$7000 on furniture, had to wait almost 7 weeks for delivery. couch cam scuffed on the side. King sized mattress came rolled up. Was instructed to unroll and leave for ~72 hours. Mattress is 76” not 80” so doesn’t fit on the bed. Now I have to jump through hoops to get replacement pieces. No issues when I went through other major furniture companies.
Ethel was amazing loved her she is full of knowledge and we were walking out when she stopped and talked to us. Her personality pulled us back in and in doing so we spent $3,000 😂. Then Brad was great as well and helped with closing up our paper work. But Ethel was amazing !!!!! We purchased from the Middletown store.

Amir Barksdale in the Middletown NY location was fantastic. He was knowledgeable, friendly, great personality and assisted with searching for items were seeking, showing others similar and finding colors. This sale was 100% Amir. I am sad to see when I paid because he went to the bathroom as Jessica said all of a sudden it was a split sale for something she wasn’t involved in simply because he stepped away a moment. As a sales professional myself had I had known stepping away a moment would cost him half a sale I would have told her I would have waited until he was out of the bathroom. Other people may not read their paperwork to notice but from being in sales I picked up on it immediately and asked why there were two names. I do hope this is corrected because Amir did work hard for this sale and was helpful with us from the moment we walked in the door to when we left. I was incredibly impressed with his professionalism and friendliness. Great job Amir.

The sales people were great. Customer service I would have to give it 2 stars. They constantly emailed me wrong information. They would email 8 to 10 times. When I confirmed delivery, they continued sending confirmations to the point I stopped responding.

I purchased a large sectional a few months ago and recently got it delivered! Not only were the delivery drivers the sweetest, most helpful workers, but I couldn’t have made this purchase without the help from Suzanne! She provided top tier customer service; giving me every piece of information I would need from finding the right couch, loving it, buying it and getting it delivered! She called me often around the time of purchase and delivery, even after to ensure my 100% satisfaction. 10/10 for her!
TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! We were sold an item which turned out to be disconnected. How did the sales associate not have that information? A few days later he called and offered us an alternative. We asked what consideration we would receive for accepting an alternative item that was less to our liking. The associate said he'd call back in 5 minutes and that was the last we heard from him. All attempts to find out what was happening failed. Either we were put on hold for 45 minutes until the call auto disconnected or no one picked up. We contacted the associate literally a dozen times and he completely ghosted us. We finally had no choice but to return to the Middletown, NY, store - an hour's drive from our house - and disgustedly tell them to cancel the order. The manager apologized, but that's all. Who will compensate us for the three weeks we lost without the promised merchandise? Very, very disappointed.

This was the easiest shopping I have ever done. Jessica the sales associate was so nice and went out of her way to set up for me a make-believe dining table so I can visualize the table set up. The store is really nice and clean but most of all the associates are extremely nice. I would definitely shop again at this location. This was my second time shopping at Ashley. The store should be getting a gold star of recognition!!! Jessica gave us different options, gave us time to discuss, was not at all pushy we listen to her great advice.

Sooo been there three times and all three times I bought something, spent over $9 thousand dollars there and honestly the first two times was great, we got the same woman both times and she was really nice and helped us with everything but the third time we got some guy named Benjamin who started off fine but told us to come back Wednesday and he would give us an amazing V.I.P. deal and discounts. So Wednesday I sent my wife because was working, so when she got there she called me and said that he is not giving us any discount at all and I called her he was acting all different to her because I wasn't there and thought he could take advantage of her. She asked him to go talk to the manager because we was promised a discount plus to be treated like V.I.P. Customers, after everything all he gave us was a $7 dollar discount and said that is the best he could do. We would never of went down Wednesday because we both where working and why go and be lied to and save seven dollars, I dont know what kind of discount that is but it wasn't worth the gas money to go down there when we really didn't have time and was being rushed and lied to, if you go don't talk to or deal with Benjamin.
First time in a Ashley furniture store .All furniture was so beautiful I couldn’t make up my mind. Ended up buying a new living set .Ty the salesperson, Was the best. He was very knowledgeable, patient and helpful. Will certainly be back 👍🏻
Great experience with Michelle. Her no-nonsense approach sold me immediately. I hate the over pitchy salesman... That was not Michelle. She stuck to what we wanted. We were in and out. I loved it. No lie... We had our furniture picked within minutes and order picked up the next day.
Worked with Amir and Ethel and they were both wonderful. Very knowledgeable and able to mix and match pieces that would work well together as well as what would work best in our home. Ethel drew a sketch of the room in our home and suggested the best way to place the sectional we chose. Amir pushed a coffee table across the showroom floor to make sure it matched the couches we chose. Excellent service and would highly recommend!!

My wife made a $3000 purchase in store. The day after the items were delivered, she went online to look at additional pieces and she saw the things she'd purchased for $750.00 cheaper. She called the store and the manager said it was not her job to tell us about the cheaper price online, and she would not adjust anything because the furniture had been delivered already
I went in store and purchased over 3k with of furniture. The day after it was delivered, I went online to purchase some additional pieces and noticed my furniture for $750 cheaper. When I called the store they told me it is not their responsibility to let me know it is available cheaper online, and too bad for me that I paid the higher price.

I purchased a dining room table and chairs from Ashley furniture at the wallkill plaza in Middletown New York and I found the table and chairs to be very unstable and recently one of the chairs broke I called the store and they told me I have to take a picture of the broken chair with my phone and send it to them and a lot of other crazy things I had to do just to replace one chair that seems ridiculous to me I paid a lot of money for this table and chairs and I find that the table and chairs is not worth the money I paid for the table and chairs in conclusion I will never ever stop it Ashley furniture ever again as the furniture doesn't seem to be as good as they say it is. I advise anyone who wants to shop at Ashley be very careful of what you buy and what the salesperson tells you because I was promised that the table and chairs was very sturdy and would not break and the chair did break now I have to go through a lot of work to replace my chair to my table and chair set that I purchased less than a year ago it's a little ridiculous but as I said I will never shop at Ashley furniture ever again as my experience was not good and I hear I was lied to buy the sales associates. When we first got our furniture the sale was good. Now that a spring has broken while on warranty and tech came to look at it and deemed it not repairable we have been back to the store NOT ONCE! NOT TWICE ! THREE TIMES and was told we would receive a phone call by 7pm on our 3rd visit or next day and that still has not happened! We were actually looking to by more furniture but the service we have received it’s not looking to be in Ashley Furniture favor
Our couch is broken and we were told to get another one well we are waiting for a delivery date and we haven't gotten a date for a new couch. Right now we are sitting on a defective couch and we are not too happy right now. Everyone at the store is so nice. But right now we're not going to be so nice. $1800 was paid right away at the time of the sale. So please make this right. We want our new couch. Grrrrr
Ashly warranty service is terrible. I wouldn’t recommend this store to anyone. Made an almost 10,000 purchase in April. Warranty for all these items. Fabric of a set of three sofas started peeling off as if we had pit bulls in my house. Guy from customer service offered me to get a shaver. I downloaded some pictures so ya can see how terrible this quality is. On top of that, you can’t have anything in your laps(bcs it it fall, you’ll have to raise the chair up and get all the way down) bcs every time you seat a wide hole opens up on the side. 2 usb chargers don’t work. This is the worst purchase experience I honestly have had in my lifetime. Please take your money elsewhere, Ashley is not a reputable store, they don’t back their brand up. I wish I would have never walked in to this trap.

My children and I bought a new couch and a bunk bed. The sales person was kind and showed us many options. The delivery of the furniture went smoothly. We are annoying are new furniture.
Terrible experience, would never by from this company again. We purchased a table and chairs from them 5 weeks ago, waited 1 week for it to be delivered and assembled which could not be accomplished because they sent the wrong base. We waited another week for them to return with the correct base and the installers broke it during the installation and stripped all of the heads of the mounting hardware - then told my wife that it was all set. After fighting with the customer service people, they agreed to return with a new base, 2 weeks later?? Then the installers weren’t given the entire base so they could not complete the repair. Just got off the phone with “management” and they can’t get back to the house with the complete chase for another 7 days. What a joke, this company is terrible, my advice would be to spend a few more dollars and buy somewhere else. I guess we’ll eat at the coffee table for another week - unbelievable

Product was in excellent condition. The delivery team was on time and they were excellent. My wife and I would highly recommend Ashley for your furniture needs. This was our second furniture purchase in a year from them. Each time was a 5 star experience :)
Buyers understand this … if you ARE NOT happy with an item make sure you tell the delivery driver then and there because once they leave your home you WILL NOT be allowed to return or exchange. My purchase was well above $10k - My bedroom set was delivered at 8am. I ordered an adjustable base and new mattress along with the bedroom set. The bed looked giant to me but since it was 8am. I did not test it. That evening I struggle to climb onto the bed - no worries nothing a step stool can’t help. Well once on the bed I can’t reach the night stands. The bed is just too high, not functional or practical for normal life. I removed the adjustable base and although the bed is still a bit high, it was huge improvement. I called customer service in hopes of just returning the base, since I can’t use it. It just doesn’t fit with this set (something the Sales Dept should be better aware of). I am told all Sales are Final and I should have informed the driver before he left. It was 8AM! How would I have known this would be a problem until I actually attempted to sleep on the bed? The young lady Catherine kept parroting the same line, no returns and no exchange. I asked to speak with a Manager and she advised me that they will tell me the same. I told her I want to speak with her regardless. They tell me they would have to call me back. Catherine calls me back after 5mins and once again parrots what the Manager says - unbelievable that the Manager has her employee call me back after I specifically asked to speak with her. The absolute unprofessional disrespect. I once again told Catherine, I do not want to speak with her. I want a Manager. I’m still waiting for the call. My next step is to walk into the store where I made the purchase and speak to someone there. Although I already tried and was told to call Customer Service. Do yourself a favor - DO NOT buy at Ashley Furniture if you are willing to be forced to keep things you don’t need. Their Customer Service is in serious need of an overhaul.

Terrible service and damaged furniture was delivered. This place was a second choice due to my original furniture being back ordered. This set will probably last about 5 years. We got a broken drawer, a spot of paint, and the top finish on one peice was irregular. Customer service was clueless and didn't talk to the store to get the details. Still pending getting my drawer repaired. Don't recommend, and will not shop here again.
Ashle's Furniture store in Middletow, NY was a pleasant quick pop in which turned in to a perfect order for my 14 year old who was happy on picking out his mattress. Suzanna Ficken was our salesperson and she was nice, professional with a good sense of humor. She was very helpful with our questions and her answers. I will definitely be back for a 2 more mattresses and livingroom set.
Original contract was around $1,300 for the pieces we got, did a once over, inspected them as the sales rep told me to, later on a more in-depth inspection someone tried to hide a massive tear in the electric chair I got for my nana. Also noticed that they’ve still been charging me MORE then what the acima payment program, being well over what was contracted to pay. Be wary about how and what you purchase. No one contacted me after I inquired about the large tear in the chair, but I could only imagine their response will be “oh well”

I always check the stores online sites to see the item first before deciding to go to the store to fully check it out. As soon as we got in the door Keegan greeted my family and I. Then I showed him what I was looking at prior to coming in and ball started rolling. Him and his manger helped us from the start to finish. My parents and I both are waiting on replacements for our adjustable base remotes and it’s been months, I clearly see the operations team working to get me the remote I’ve seen the emails sent out and nothing, this company doesn’t care about any of their customers until they finally get enraged. I’ve been sleeping with only the feet up on my base for MONTHS now and I still haven’t received a new remote when my base is still under warranty, if you are gonna shop for bedding do so at mattress firm or Raymour and Flannigan because I’m sure they’ll actually take care of you if something goes wrong.

Stopped in a few weeks ago and the lady who was supposed to “help” me wasn’t really paying attention much to me at all and just kept trying to push me onto things I didn’t really like. Then manager came over and she was really insistent on getting me to buy TODAY but I told her many times I was closing on my home soon and couldn’t make any major buys and just kept being pushy. Some beautiful products but unfortunately I had a much better experience at Raymour. I recommend shopping online for Ashley’s as you won’t be met with a pushy sales person

Today I went into Ashley homestore to cancel a order I did yesterday. Reason being the sectional I ordered was too big for my living area. However thanks to Ethel Bartoli at 88 dunning road Middletown NY (Ashley home store), for being tremendously helpful and understanding I end up reordering a different sectional and I did not have to go back to the previous Ashley homestore I went to.

I've been shopping around for a new bedroom set for months. I finally went into Ashley Middletown, NY, Dunning farms location and found exactly what I was looking for. I was greeted by Erik Anariba who made the entire experience memorable. Erik helped me find the bed set and mattress that I had been searching for for months. Erik was well informed about each piece of furniture and worked hard to make sure I received the best deal. He was super patient. He provided me with his contact information so I can reach out in the event I had any questions, which I did, and he responded promptly. I felt I could trust Erik, because he had my best interest in mind. Its not always easy to feel this way with people working on commission, but he never once made me feel like he was trying to make the sale for his benefit. Kudos to you, Erik. I am happy to say my sale has been finalized and it is because Erik walked me through the process. Erik Anariba is an asset to the Ashley fruity company and I have already recommended to him several friends and family. On the flip side, I did visit Ashley Homestore Outlet in Middletown and my experience was completely opposite. The gentlemen who greeted me was kind and well informed, but begged me to make my purchases with him. He literally said, "come back to me when you're ready. Don't go to the other guys. I want your purchase." This is was prompted me to ask him if he worked on commission, at which he responded, "yes". At that point I was turned off from the experience and decided I did not want to spend my money in this particular store. Customers should not feel as if the sales person is helping them to receive commission. And that is how I felt in this particular Ashley outlet middle store.
Staff was very helpful with helping us match accent chairs to a couch we bought from here a few months ago. The selection is also high quality for reasonable prices.

The sign on the door says they open at 10am. My husband and I showed up at 10:05 and the doors were still locked. We waited another 5 minutes and they still didn’t open. We were coming in to purchuse 2 new bed and mattresses but I guess they lost that sale. In my opinion it’s important for businesses to be on time, especially because I was operating on a tight schedule.

On June 5th of 2021, I and my husband went to Ashely Homestore in Middletown NY 88 Dunning Road. I and my husband just purchased a home and needed to get furniture that was reliable for children under the age of twelve.So our salesman Brad Warther made it clear to me and my husband the furniture was stable and reliable for all kinds of hiccups. So, I and my husband trusted this establishment and the salesman and the hype and purchased the couch and the warranty program just in case.But get this, the couch is only 9 months and it broke on the side "for no reason" and I called my warranty service, and they told me the couch is not even a year old. They stated that I had to call the one-year warranty with Ashely Homestore.I called them made a claim and they sent a liar to my house who didn't even touch the couch and wasn't even in my house for more than 5 minutes. He looked and the couch and said it wasn't fixable and if I had insurance on the couch, they would cover it and walked out.Three days later I get a phone call from Ashely Homestore, and they said the tech stated I told him someone overweight sat on the couch so they couldn't do anything about it. And the claim was closed. May I add my conversation with the tech did mention weight however I stated no one over the weight of 350 was on the couch so there would be no reason for the wood to crack the way it did? But he lies and says I said fat people were on the couch and that's why It broke.Not to mention It's the first year and the couch broke!!!! Like why can't just replace it on that alone...WTF!

Our delivery came today. This was the day I was told at the time we bought the sofas. No delay at all. The delivery guys did great job. Took away all the wrapping. I am very pleased. I placed an order on 11/18/21 for a couch and chair set for my living room. I was told that it would be delivered by 12/20 or before because of Christmas. I called today and the wear house didn’t even have us in their system. I was transferred back to the store and no one would answer. After calling 6 times with no answer my husband blocked his number and they answered right away. The woman who answered the phone was rude and the floor manager was “not available”. Our sales woman was wonderful but now we have no furniture for Christmas and I’m still waiting for a call back from the store. And when I asked if I would get notified if I cancelled I was told I would not. I would just have to wait and see if the order would be cancelled and who knows how long until I would get my money back. Horrible service all around.
From the salespeople to the deliverers, this store is amazing. They helped us find a table that was right for us and aided us in the whole process. Delivery was quick and easy, the deliverers were very knowledgeable and helpful. They were also very friendly and delivery was very fast and efficient! Definitely recommend!!

They were just what I had been looking for So I called the Ashley stores nearest me they did not have the lamps in stock but they could order them and have them shipped to me On the internet shipping was Free the store had to charge me $39.00. for shipping. I was told the store and the mail order are two different companies???? Can you believe that???? I think this is very poor customer service.

Spoke with Brad of Ashley HomeStore on the phone a few days ago about a sectional sofa I’d seen online. Although the store didn’t have it on display, we decided to take a look around and meet with Brad. Once we got there we knew we wanted to purchase the sectional we had been eyeing up online. Brad helped us make the purchase and informed us that ordering through the store rather than online would ensure a faster delivery. We are due to have our sectional delivered this week!!! Totally looking forward to it. Brad was super helpful and very kind!

They had a really good in-collection. Honestly, I went to the other store(Raym...) before Ashley, And they did not have any option to chose for the Cal King bed set. they only had one which I was only able to see online and est. the delivery time they said was like a decade. Bought mattress and foundation. They misinformed me that the mattress and foundation was one price and it was not so! Once I realizes that they charged me 300 more it was the foundation. I want to return and they won’t take them back because it was delivered! This location is in Middletown NY. I called corporate office and they told me this store is individually own. That means they can make their own rules. So don’t buy from them. Go to Raymour and Flannigan. They are excellent in taken care their customers. I will never buy again from Ashley Furniture.

Defective Furniture is being sold at this location. Stay away! Poor customer service at both Showroom and Customer care. After 2 months of being at my home when you sit down you fall right in and hurt myself with the wood on Furniture. Defective and Unsafe!!!!!
My parents, fiancé and I went there to get new mattresses and Mesha and Nick were amazing. They understood we were on a budget and went over everything that was within the budget. We walked out there very happy and satisfied. They did not rush us and made sure we were happy with our purchase. They went over all the necessary paperwork and made sure we understood it all. Supposed to get 4 hr window for delivery instead got going to be late around 8AM then automated message at 4 PM 20 minutes out finally called store and told 9 minutes away at 6:30 PM truck showed up just before 7PM put piece together frame bent removed now waiting a week. We will see what happens and if they do anything for the inconvenience.

My parents ordered furniture for their new downsized apartment. The chose to wait over a month for delivery so that everything could be delivered together. Delivery was confirmed for this coming week And now they received a text that the sofa (which is what was delayed in the first place) will not be delivered. This is unacceptable and I need to be contacted immediately not remedy this situation.

The store itself houses many options representing different styles. The associate I worked with,Suzanne, was incredibly helpful and did her best to make my vision come to life. Suzanne was forthcoming and told me it would be a while before my furniture would be available (amid the pandemic its completely understandable as there are many factors to consider). We did hit in a bump in the road when my items that had been labeled as will call were given to someone else despite how long before I had reserved them but I was told this is company policy- hence the 4 stars and not 5.There was about a month and a half wait between the delivery of my first and last delivery. Regardless of it all, Suzanne did her best at consoling me and was intentional about service recovery. It all worked out in the end and I am very happy with my furniture! All of the pieces look great and came in perfect condition. Will definitely return to furnish other parts of our home.

Horrible from the beginning. Never told 4 of my chairs weren’t coming with the rest of furniture. One chair was wobbling and it’s a headache to get fixed. Brand new and won’t replace it. They called mine my mom and husbands cell phones non stop even after confirming delivery several times. They had wrong address for delivery and called twice to change and they STILL went to wrong address. Was told my store manager remainder of chairs would be in last week and told today by customer care they won’t even be in until end of this week. No problem taking the 4 grand so where is the customer service??? Wish I could give zero stars. Almost forgot… Was told by our salesman that the couch we wanted that part of it would not be in stock until December he said he would call and confirm that and get back to us the next day it’s been almost 2 weeks and never heard from him so we had to go to Raymour Flanigan to buy a couch. Never again will I purchase from Ashley’s
We're in the process of helping my father move into an assisted living facility and are purchasing furniture to make him as comfortable as possible. Along the way we were fortunate enough to have Suzanne F. as our sales associate. She went above and beyond (multiple times!) to make sure we were getting exactly what Dad needed, when he needed it, in the color he needed it and at the best price she could get us. We've changed delivery dates when there were conflicts, switched sizes, styles and Suzanne handled it all with grace and true professionalism. I have no doubt that all Suzanne's help will make Dad's new place feel like home. Adding an addition to our review. We went in yesterday to buy a mattress for our guest room. Eric, the associate that greeted us was wonderful. He listened to our needs and our budget and showed us the selections that would work best. We got exactly what we needed, no oversell. We were in and our in 15 mins. Very pleased again.

Zero stars. Shop at Bob's. Terrible overall. They paint this picture of best furniture store ever. I was charged for items I did not purchase, they rush you through the paperwork so you have no time to review it. Every single item. Delivered was damaged. Nearly 3 mo the after my purchase I'm STILL waiting for items to be delivered. They damaged my property when delivering the sofa and damaged the sofa. Not so much as a "sorry." I lost count of how many days I've had to take off waiting for deliveries. Last delivery was damaged. Still waiting for a new one. Customer care provides no customer care. Just an oh well, whenever we get it we'll ship it. Never again. Do yourself a favor and ONLY SHOP AT BOB'S. They'll never let you down.

Purchase furniture for a new house and got a great deal on everything the salesperson was polite and helped find what we wanted. We got the warranty and actually just used it because one of my chairs was loose and they came right to me to fix it.

We went into the Ashley Homestore in Middletown on Sunday to look for a bed for a new home. We were greeted by Nick a very “unpushy” salesman. He allowed us to look and didn’t try to sway us in either direction. He asked his Sales Associate Suzanne to help us as he was working with a different customer. Suzanne was great in helping us find a new bed, Nick came back in to help us pick the perfect mattress. They are some pair. We can’t wait to go back and buy a living room from them ASAP !!!
I went to this store with my mother in law to try to help her find a new bed. She knew what she was looking for and was specific with what she was looking for. We were lucky enough to get Sam, who was an amazing sales person. He was very patient with her and tried his best to find what she was looking for. She was only able to purchase the bed at the time and was going to wait on the mattress. The bed was being delivered sooner than we expected and I contacted Sam and he was able to get her the mattress she wanted so it would come in the same delivery. Nothing but great things to say about the store and Sam. So much appreciate all his help helping her find exactly what she wanted. He went out of his way and I would recommend getting in touch with him for all your furniture needs.
Walked into Ashley just to browse but I ended up liking a sofa and decided to purchase. Sam helped me by answering all my questions, purchasing went smoothly and he also addressed any concerns I had with the back ordered date. I received my sofa yesterday and I absolutely love it. Delivery went well and I couldn’t be happier with Sam’s help and service.
Just bought 2 beds for a lot money but I find out one day that it’s damaged and the people came to assemble the bed just use other screws that it’s not made for it and cannot hold them See on Photos the hole for the screws is not the right place Had hard time with customer service and warranty

So I made a purchase at the new store location by Micheals behind Walmart.After my first delivery date was cancelled and my item was sold on me they located an item. Then my second delivery date was cancelled excuse was item was damaged. Finally after third attempt I get the item! I was given free delivery do to first failed attempt to deliver. I was offered a 100.00 refund for the second attempt then I was told I could not have that because it couldn't be approved!All I have to say is unless you want to play a waiting game to get your delivery go somewhere else! Also if they offer you a refund do it in person and get it in writing! I have never had such a bad experience before buying furniture!
Brian and Brad did an exceptional job helping me pick out new furniture. They were patient, courteous and most importantly they were not pushy. I would absolutely recommend and use them again.
The sales team at Ashley are great! The delivery team were great! The problem is the warehouse team don't inspect the furniture very well before it leaves the warehouse.Then you end up with damaged furniture in your home and have to wait weeks for a technician to come to your house to address the problem. You are told that they will be in touch with you in 7 days to send a technician out, 7 days come and go. It's very frustrating, you spend all this money on nice furniture and then it's like they forget about you.

I took my brother in law shopping for a new dresser. He has autism and my mother in law is blind. Everyone at Ashley’s was super helpful and patient with us! Do not shop here. I ordered furniture in March. 1/2 the set was delivered in April with a delivery date of June 19 for the rest. The pieces are unavailable. They will not allow me to return what was delivered so that I can pick out another set that will all match. Even after asking that they not do a partial delivery right from the start. I'm now stuck with a bed, night stands, and a mirror that will not even match the dresser that it attaches to. For a mismatched set I would have been better off going to a good will instead of spending thousands at this trash store.
Love Ashley's what more can I say....... she's all over my house...! I'll never shop anywhere else the quality of product is what keep me coming back.... living room, my bedroom, diningroom.... next it's the boys new bedroom sets......
the store and customer service is nice and all but the delivery is unprofessional. not only they delivered the wrong parts to my bed TWICE, their phone customer service is trash. i paid my furniture all this money just for them to give me a hard time. i’m not happy at all and will never order from here ever again. respectfully.

Recently moved to Middletown from NYC ... so very use to salesman hunting customers down when shopping.... Not so here ... stumbled across one of the most AMAZING sales reps ERIK ...... One of the most important things for me is feeling like I am being heard and that the sales rep isn’t just pushing his/her own agenda. - I was really so so so impressed with this young man. He would pick up clues as we were talking and use that information to guide his recommendations..... he would state the reasons he was showing me something and state reason he wouldn’t show me something. Very very attentive and patient. Best furniture shopping experience I’ve ever had! Ashley is very lucky to have him and I wish him a lot of success! Thanks ERIK I love my furniture!!!

I could not have asked for a better experience purchasing furniture for my new home. Brad greeted me with a friendly smile and was helpful and never pushy. He enlisted the help of his manager Brian and together they helped furnish my entire home. They patiently talked me through all of my options and never judged me when it came to how picky I was. I had the most in depth discussion about the sturdiness of the couch (how it won’t dip, how to clean the cushions, the protection plant, etc), the type of wood used in my bedroom set and how well the drawers will hold up and then a demo of the bed I ended up purchasing. I was made to lay on the mattress where they explained the details of the bed and it’s base and demonstrated how effective the bed would be for my personal sleep needs and back and neck ailments. Once I decided on all my furniture choices they worked to get me every discount possible, the best delivery date and even bought me a congratulatory bottle of wine. For a person that is spending a large amount of money these two men made the buying experience the best possible! Never thought I would be leaving so at peace and happy! Thank you so much!
We highly recommend Ishmael in the middletown store. He was very professional, informative, courteous, and attentive. He took his time to ensure that we were happy with our purchase. He also showed us products that would be very similar to what we wanted due to the product not being on display so we would know how they would feel. There was no pressure and we didn't feel rushed. What a great experience! We recently worked with Sue to purchase a memory foam mattress. There is nothing I hate more than mattress shopping. How is one supposed to know how the mattress will feel sleeping on it eight hours a night be testing it for five minutes in a store? Sue was wonderful to work with. She was patient as we looked at pretty much every mattress in the store and she was super knowledgeable about each product. She really listened as we described what we were looking for and helped us make a decision based on our needs. As per the contract, when the mattress was delivered, the movers were supposed to take our old mattress at no charge. The men, who are contracted through an independent delivery company, were refusing to take it unless we paid them $50. One phone call to Sue and it was all taken care of. I would highly recommend Ahsley Furniture store in Middletown and Sue as a sales associate.
My family and I went to Ashley's today to purchase a sofa. Our salesperson was Erik. He was so easy to deal with. He was really friendly and knowledgeable. He took his time with us and made the whole process so easy. If you go to this Ashley's, ask for Erik. You won't be disappointed!

We walked in, explained what we were looking for and Erik showed us a perfect match for our needs. He was great in helping us find exactly what we were looking for and was accommodating when we wanted to swap pieces from other "rooms" to have exactly what we wanted. he was informative and had a positive attitude the entire time despite our indecisiveness. Towards the end of our visit we also had the pleasure of working with Billy. My mother and I went to the Ashley’s furniture store in Middletown on April 8th and one of the salesman named Erik and his manager really came through for my mother with getting her furniture that she needed at a wonderful price. They listened to my mother’s concerns and we’re pleasant and courteous when they assisted. I would recommend this store to many others
The worst buying experience I’ve ever had. I purchased a couch the first of year after moving into my new house. I was drawn into the store by a couch I saw online that was on sale. I wanted to go in and see how it felt. I took 10 steps in and a sales person was right on me asking why I was there. Which some may like but I like to look around for at least 5 minutes before someone tries to get a commission. I know that’s what it is because the group of sales people that hang out in the front will just stare at you if someone already approached you. Made things awkward when looking around. Anyways I found the couch I was pulled into the store by and it was double the price online so the sales person said some deals online were just online deals and he would need approval for price matching. Like it was an inconvenience for that store even though the deals online will bring people in. Felt like a bait and switch but they reluctantly did the price match. The sales person stated that I would be called in 2 weeks to set up a delivery date and would have my couch at the end of the month. LIES. It took them 2 and a half Months to get the couch to me. After having to make numerous phone calls and writing emails that were left unanswered. A buddy of mine bought a couch from their competitor down the road and had his couch in 2 weeks. I bought a recliner from an online competitor and received it in 2 weeks. I’m still furnishing the house and I know to never buy another thing from Ashley’s. I suggest you all do the same.
I stopped in breifly in the middletown store because im new to the area. I had the pleasure of speaking to ajza (sorry). Although she is not a sales person for Ashley's. She let me know that any of the sales people would be a great help to me. I appreciated her being a team player because i dont see that alot in store. She was looking out for them like they're famliy or close friends. Thats the enviroment i would like to shop in. A nice family place. I look forward to shopping here. Im confident that i will be taken cared of.

We closed on our first home today, the person who helped us his name is Nick. He’s phenomenal, he saved us every penny after spending so much on this closing. He arranged all the deliveries in the same day, and most importantly stayed with us past store hours which was 9pm, and we ended up finishing everything at 10pm. This store is lucky to have him as the employee.

I have never shopped from Ashley before and had a lovely experience from start to finish. Salesperson was attentive without being too “salesy”. Delivery was smooth from start to finish. I had a problem with one item delivered and they sent out a service tech to try to fix it. When it wasn’t to my liking, they dispatched a new replacement and followed up with me to be sure I was happy. The entire process was seamless and I appreciated the professionalism at each interaction. I will shop here again.
Ordered furniture 2 months ago still hasn't been delivered. I added a star only because I was able to get the delivery fee taken off and an additional $100 we will see if I actually get my furniture in the delivery date.

Shopped at the Middletown store. I was pleasantly surprised when my salesperson allowed me to walk around. I was looking for a loveseat that would fit into my decor. I liked that there was no pressure. The only reason I gave 4 out of 5 stars is, after I returned home I found the same item in their website for over $200 cheaper. I would think they would check that before charging you. But when I notified them I immediately got it at the lower price.

We tried ordering on the app and the order failed. When we called to find out we were told that the app doesn’t work well with Apple products. We had to call and have the charges released from the credit account and try again. I tried a few days later and same thing. My husband went the store and the item we were purchasing was 500.00 more the store we should order online. We attempted again online with no success and then I tried to order over the phone with customer service and they are unable to process over the phone orders. I was directed to go back to the store. We went to the store and again we’re told it would be 500.00 more then the online price. After “negotiations “ we were able to get the online price but had to pay a portion out of pocket cash and not use our card. The woman in the store was more then nice and professional about the whole process. It seems like Ashley wants to push business to online but they will need to work out their operating system issues or lose a lot of business. If they want to push people In the store then the stores should be able to offer the same pricing as online. The whole process was inconvenient and frustrating especially when dealing with the customer service number. They just pass you around from person to person and no one can help. I hope our mattress works better then Ashley Home Store dot com. Thank you to Suzanne in the Middletown store who was very helpful and customer oriented.
I stopped in today to purchase a sofa. We were greeted by Suzanne who offered her help and assistance. She quickly made my young daughter feel at ease, which is tough to do. We took our time looking at everything and Suzanne was always real close by when we had questions. Once we made our decision. She got everything going quick and efficiently. She really made the headache of purchasing a new sofa super easy! Great experience! Will definitely go back when we’re looking for our next purchase!
We can’t begin to express how great Suzanne and Billy from the Ashley Furniture store in Middletown, NY were in making a really bad experience with another furniture store (R&F) right. We waited 5 months for 2 beds to be delivered for our sons and when they finally arrived, one was broken and couldn’t be assembled, the other was damaged requiring new side rails. We were at our wits end with the other store and decided to see if Ashley had comparable beds. To our surprise the Ashley had the same beds and they were in stock for immediate delivery. Suzanne and Billy worked hard and were able to offer us a deal that we were very happy with. The delivery/assembly was on time as promised and done with care. Thank You

Absolutely amazing!!!! Michelle and her manager Ethyl made my fathers Christmas! He just got home from the hospital after fighting Covid-19 and needed a new recliner as soon as possible. They worked with us to be able to bring the chair home today and were just so friendly and caring!!! Would recommend coming here for all your furniture needs!!!
BUYER BEWARE! Once they have your money they do not care. Furniture is always delivered late and damaged. They promise to fix damage and then never come through on their promise. Store blames the delivery center and the delivery center blames the store. No one takes responsibility to make it right. Save yourself the frustration and buy somewhere else.
Third Update: Well its been a week and even after being promised a store manager (either Ethel or Nick) would call me per our Salesmen Ishmael...still no phone call. I called customer service again... They said they shipped the parts and could not make an appointment until I receive the parts. I never received the parts. The guy put me on hold when I asked for a customer service manager... I was on hold for 40 minutes, he was probably hoping I would hang up....they underestimated me. Finally they guy came back on and said someone messed up with the part order and it was not handled correctly. He said their customer service Manager agreed to exchange the damaged chairs out right. Lets see if they can actually deliver them without damage for the 3rd time. Second Update: Now they are saying the parts were delivered to fix our chairs to our home. We have not received anything. And they refuse to make an appointment for the repairs until the parts are received and we call them back. The store is saying it’s customer service’s fault. So no matter how well they treat you in the store, once you walk out you are screwed. They just want your money and then want you gone. Update: Guess what no call back as promised yesterday 12/29/2020. Not surprising. This company is horrible. SHOP SOMEWHERE ELSE! We had to wait a month for our furniture to be delivered. We ordered a counter height table with chairs. They deliver a counter height table with regular height chairs and the table was damaged. The delivery guy actually asked me if I wanted the chairs even though they were not the right height! We sent everything back. Then Ashley told us we had to wait another month to get our order. After having to put up a fight they delivered our set 2 weeks later. 3 chairs were damaged. One chair had a mark on the cushion, another chair had a gum like substance on the cushion, and a third chair looked like it wasn’t put together properly. They delivery guy was annoyed about my complaints, but both him and the representative on the phone said they would get someone out to fix them if I accepted them. They said it would be an easy fix. The guy took pictures of them and left. Guess what never heard back, was told I had to send pictures as the pictures their delivery guy took were not acceptable. Still waiting to see if they are fixable or need replacement. Replacement will probably take another 30 days. Our bad for going back to Ashley after the delivery fiasco with our Living room furniture 2 years prior. Everything is all ways delivered damaged. Ashley gave me a credit of $169 refund of the delivery fee.....after all this frustration it should have been more. BUYER BEWARE IF PURCHASING FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE.

Went there to reorder a part of my bed that broke (I’m 185lbs how it broke I’m completely confused) & was told it wasn’t covered under my warranty which is unacceptable to me because why would I get warranty for my bed set and not be able to get it fixed/replaced parts when needed. So I was like ok let me pay out of pocket I have no choice. Just for the sales guy to say they don’t sell that part? How do you not sell parts of a bed that I bought at your store? Truly disappointed Because I was told by a later company that I could absolutely order the part I needed.
I had a very pleasant experience with a very knowledgeable salesman explained a lot of technical issues I was not aware of. The salesman was not pushy and gave me plenty of time and options on how to get what I wanted ☺️

The service at the Store was great, but the entire delivery process and their customer service is awful. I purchased furniture on October 19th and expected a delay due to current climate. I contacted them 2 weeks past the expected delivery date because I did not receive any updates. The lady explained that it will be delayed until November 30th. I still haven’t heard anything so I believed my furniture would be delivered. I contacted customer service again I was given no explanation of why it would be delayed again. I was told the furniture would be at my home December 3rd but then was told the latest would be on December 28th. My issue with customer service is the lack of communication. They give no explanation for the delay and just provide multiple dates that are not accurate. This will be the last time I purchase from Ashley’s.
I purchased a sectional couch early October and was told it was to be delivered in about 2 weeks. After three weeks I called and was told told that most pieces were in the warehouse and they were just waiting on one piece that was to be there on November 30th. Well I just called today and was told that none of my pieces were in the warehouse now and they won't be there until December 28th. I asked what happened to my pieces that were already in the warehouse and got no answer.
The worst place to get furniture. I went in oct 25 purchase a dining room set and a living room set delivery date was 11/17 they called and told me furniture would be arriving on the 17th but one of the sofas was back ordered. I said it was fine only needed one sofa to get family seated for thanksgiving since I threw out the old furniture. Delivery date comes only dining room set was delivered no sofas no couch no recliner. You call the store you get the customer service center the people there say they going to help you and call you back never heard from them and I’ve called everyday since the 17th no one has called me back. I went to the store on sat the 20th and spoke to Brian who sold me the furniture and he told me he was going to get answers for me and would call me on Tuesday for sure on the 24th NOTHING not even I’m sorry I do t have an answer for you. If I would have known this I would have spent more money and went to another store to get better customer service and faster results. Is Sunday the 29th and no one knows anything Ty Ashley furniture

We went to Ashley’s to just look at dinning room tables to get an idea on pricing. We were greeted by Billy in the front of the store. We successfully walked through the store without being followed and he gave us space (I’m used to sales people following us through the store with no space). He was available whenever we had a question. Billy, and his manager Ethel were very friendly and knowledgeable. It was honestly the best experience in a furniture store I’ve had. We ended up walking away with a new dinning room set and sofa set. Definitely ask for Billy, and Ethel when if you need new furniture!!

Doa'a and nick were great. Rest of the experience was trash. Sent the wrong color on one piece of the sectional. Then refused to deliver the piece in a timely manner. I should not have to reachedule for their mistake. You make a mistake, you fix it. Just common business practice. A $2600 purchase and i have to wait for their mistake. Then called customer service and was refused a manager twice. Honestly, do not go here. But if you do, ask Doa'a for help. She was great. And manager Nick was very helpful. But everything else was trash

Our saleswoman named Suzanne helped us all those times to choose everything.! She really loves what she does and she really cares even after the sale and the delivery.. I LOVE MY NEW COUCH! Went to Ashley in mid August in search of a sectional. My salesman, Mark Biavati,could not have been more of a pleasure to work with! He helped me pick a beautiful sectional and have it delivered to my house. The entire transaction was completed on my lunch break, with no hidden costs, fees or any nonsense. When Ashley delivered 8 weeks later (covid delays) they were in and out of here like magic. Delivery was free. All packaging was removed by the shippers. This is not the first couch I've ordered from Ashley- I purchased another one 8 years ago that is still being used by a relative. So in my experience their products are very reliable. So happy!

Well where do I begin? Let’s begin with my bed set. A year ago I ordered a bed set. Not only did they not have the right pets for my bed, but I didn’t receive the proper parts for my bed set until a YEAR later because they couldn’t find my account on file for over a year. I have them another chance and never asked for anything in return. Last year my mom got a couch from the same people. Same store, same town. The couch was already damaged when she received it and they didn’t send anyone out to look at it for months. Then I ordered a couch from them a few months ago. They told me it would arrive no later than October. We placed our order in August I believe. We still went ahead with the purchase be we needed it badly. Not only have we not received our couch but they mixed up my order with my sisters order and we thought we were going to get it October 8th. It turned out that it was my sisters dresser. But they made me switch the address on the form because they thought it was my couch. Long story short, we didn’t get the couch, my sister got her dresser a month later than expected and now they are saying our couch isn’t coming till November 12th!!! Not a person in the store in Middletown New York can give us a solid answer and they keep screwing up. Do not buy from these people. They rip you off and give you cheap furniture. I’m pregnant and have been dealing with their stress and it honestly been a nightmare. They make me sick to my stomach and now my fiancé and I don’t have a couch and we’ve been living in our home for over 3 months without one. They’re a joke and Honestly if I could sue them I would and maybe still will. Don’t buy from them! Please!!! The store in Middletown New York is horrible and the manager of that store should be ashamed of her associates. I don’t know how she still has a job. !! If I could give them a -5 stars I would!!!

We ordered an electric dual recliner but were having trouble with a delivery date...going back into the store we spoke to Tashawn Warren who said he would get a delivery date for us but to give him a day or 2 and he would let us kno...his associate Monica Marrero called the next day with a delivery date within 3 dsys if our return visit to the store...Tashawn and Monica went above and beyond to help us ...the 2 young people were polite and very concerned and helpful...because of them we will continue shopping at Ashley Furniture

went into the store on a Saturday was quoted 2500 for a sectional and ottoman with insurance and delivery fee. I was told by one of the sales person wednesday they would be having a bigger V.I.P sale. So Wednesday my husband goes and gets the same set for 2700 with delivery and insurance . smh they will NEVER get my business again
This store is all about the sale. Edith closed the sale and provided a cell phone number should we have any problems. In attempting to contact her, it went straight to voicemail. No returned calls. I drove an hour to go to the store as the customer service phone number has excessively long wait times and not helpful. Approached her with regards to this and she told me she didn’t answer unfamiliar phone numbers. This may make sense if it didn’t go directly to voicemail multiple times. Not only that, multiple sales representatives were sitting idly by to close another sale as opposed to responding to customer issues. Either way, we purchased furniture on July 3rd. We had a delivery by a subcontracted company that decided that it was a better choice to drill screws into the entertainment center that protrude out the other side than just say they were missing the shelf pegs. Now Ashley insisted they send parts to repair it and send a tech over despite our insistence that this would not remedy the issue. Nonetheless we followed their protocol and sure enough the Tech on site confirmed the same and that it could not be adequately repaired and must be replaced. However, that tech is yet to put in for a return authorization despite customer service contacting him on our behalf two days in a row. Anxiously waiting for resolution on this as well as this back ordered part that has been due to use for some time now.
This is the absolute worst furniture company ever. After having a couch that I bought nine months ago, a major piece of metal broke, (there was something wrong with it being made). It takes 2 months of calling them because they never call you back to get somebody to come out and fix it but the piece that they ordered is not the right piece so the guy tells me he&'s ordering it. I called two weeks later the order has never been placed two months no working couch and they don&'t give two s****

I NEVER feel the need to do these things but this company is possibly the worst experience I have ever had as a customer anywhere. So I bought a couch a year ago solid deal interest free financing for 60 months full incident coverage on any rips tears stains damage etc. I was told delivery would be on a specific day about 3 weeks away. I get rid of my old couches and the morning of delivery I call to confirm delivery window and am told that the order will not be coming. No prior notice no reason why. So then i am told that delivery to my area is only once every 2 weeks and only on Saturdays. The week they wanted to reschedule I was going to be away so they were then telling me that delivery would be made the first week of September. I bought the couch in July! So after arguing they magically are able to delivery the following weekend. I get the couch and had an incident happen and was told that the coverage I bought doesn&'t cover that specifically. Again after fighting with them they agree to send a new slip cover for the cushion that was damaged which they sent the wrong one and I am still waiting on the correct one. Now fast forward to today and I find i have a $244 interest charge on the account because according to synchrony the promotion was only good for 12 months. I had numerous conversations with the salesman including the amount I would have to pay in order to pay it off interest free because I did not want to worry about paying it off in time. This entire organization is a joke and will screw you any chance they get. Do not ever buy from Ashley Homestore.

My experience at Ashley HomeStore was amazing! When I walked into the store, I already knew what bedroom set I wanted to purchase. With the help of Suzanne, she was able to break down the prices for me and even took the time to show me various bedroom mattresses. I appreciate Suzanne breaking down the prices for me because when I went to this store previously another salesperson gave me the incorrect price of the bedroom set, which I was unaware of. Suzanne was the one that told me that the price I was given was incorrect, so she was able to give me the correct price (which was cheaper) after double checking how each item costs. I ended up purchasing the bedroom set and the entire process went smooth. Suzanne explained everything very thorough such as explaining the Furniture Protection Plan and the delivery process.

I do not write reviews often, even with poor service. However, the customer service I have experienced has been so poor, it’s hard to believe they have anyone taking care of the customer. To elaborate, I purchased a new living room set from Ashley furniture, complete with couch, loveseat, coffee table, and end tables. I made this purchase back in December and have had this set since. About a month ago, the support for the armrest of the chair fell out of place inside the sofa. While that is poor luck, I was glad I purchased the Warrenty. I tried to contact Ashley about getting the sofa repaired. After waiting on hold for two hours, I finally got a hold a an agent. They got my info and told me to email them the required pictures. After that, I waited a week and had no response to my multiple emails. I had to call again and wait for two more hours. Another agent answered and helped me schedule a repair person to come to my house. I had to pick a day two weeks out and had to be available the whole day. The kicker is, if I missed the call, I had to call back and schedule another appointment. The appointment was scheduled and I waited, however no one came or called. Called the corporate number again and no one called me back. Went into the store and was told the regional manager would call me later that day and nothing happened. Also, they cannot schedule repairs themselves, this must be done from the corporate number. The most ironic part, is I have now written this review while still waiting for an agent to answer the phone! And I started writing at the 85 minute mark into the call. I have spent over the last month 8-10 hours on the phone waiting for an agent to answer. My advise would be do not buy anything from Ashley furniture that you want to care about. I have been waiting over a month for this issue to at least be looked at fairly but that is probably not going to happen. Please, save yourself the stress and shop somewhere else
Went in to find a reclining chair or sofa and Suzanne was fantastic helping me due to restrictions that I had to deal with. Looking forward to receiving my sofa and loveseat on Monday. Delivery could not have been better. Friendly and professional. On time and so pleased.
We're very happy and satisfied with the product and service received from Suzanne at the Ashley furniture store @ Middletown NY. We went there to shopping our bedroom furniture. We were introduced at the front door by Suzanne. She was very helpful to search the needed, we had little in mind. Suzanne spent sometime with us with patience walking around the store, to show each individual product as we really didn't have much idea what style we wanted. She also gave some us room to decided from time to time. My favorite part was she tried her best to give us a large number of discount, and she even tried to get Manager involved to give us more discount. Delivery also was great. When the delivery guys came over to our house, we just paved our driveway. They didn't mind carried out those furniture out of the truck to our house by walking up hill. Overall, the experience with Ashley store was great and we would recommend the store and Suzanne to anyone who's looking to buy their home furniture.

John Anthony was a great help to us during our visit at Ashley Furniture. He was not about the sales and rather showed us different options that best fit our needs. He was patient, funny and a very down to earth person. All other staff was equally just as friendly and kind, and kept us busy with conversation while John took care of the backend paperwork. Definitely a great experience and would certainly come back and do business with John at this location again.
My daughter needed a new nightstand for her bedroom. We ordered the nightstand on April 29 and it arrived damaged. Spent two hours on the phone for the first call to get an exchange. No one showed up to pick up the damaged nightstand. Spent another two hours on the phone on May 9 to get an exchange. They finally picked up the damaged nightstand on May 24. Have not heard back since then on when a replacement will arrive and it is now June 19. Left the home store multiple voicemails. No callbacks were ever received. Tried contacting them through their website in a chat. Was told the homestore is a different department. Would never buy from Ashley either in the store or at their website ever again. Worst customer service processes I have ever experienced.

I found the chair I wanted and told him I wanted it in brown. He didnt tell me it didn't come in brown so instead he ordered another chair in brown and charged me the price of the chair I wanted which was much higher than the one that I received. .
If you like to be overcharge for an order that was never confirmed and wait almost two weeks for it to be return to you. If you like to wait at least two month for an Oder created the end of April it&'s the place for you . Also if you love to receive your missing parts for a funny set Ashley is perfect for you. I am so unhappy with my whole experience with Ashley if you want to speak with someone good luck. I was in desperate need of a sleeper couch and love seat during the pandemic with every store shut down I reached out to Suzie Myer Ficken of the Middletown, NY office for help in choosing the right set and leaned on her a bit to get the furniture as soon as possible. Suzie, Justin Chrinian and Mike Bookbinder all helped in getting my new couch set in under a week. The delivery was in and out in under 15 minutes. I’ll defiantly use them again !

This is my BBB report, so you can see everything from start to finish. Their only response is that $130 delivery refund in satisfactory. They said i could&'ve made the hole in the mattress. Now why would i make a hole in the mattress I just purchased, and after fighting with the delivery drivers that they were supposed to take my old mattress with them; to leave myself and my husband,who both have document serious back problems, mattress-less for 6 days. This company is ridiculous and will find some way to blame you for any problems. And I&'m not the only person to experience this. So much for &" best customer service around!&" 02/07/2020: Don&'t shop from here!! I used the Wind Gap store in Pa and I had 2 delivery drivers that didn&'t speak english and a translator that spoke broken english on a phone, drop off a new mattress. They didn&'t unwrap it and tried to not take the old mattress they were supposed to take. They finally left, I started to unwrap it to find a big rip in the bottom hidden under the grey slip that was supposed to protect the edges. Called Ashley service immediately, was told there was no manager but he would call later. Plus I had sent him 2 pictures of the damage where he said yikes, we&'ll get this figured out. It&'s the next day and I still haven&'t heard from him. We&'ve called the store that said it was escalated but couldn&'t tell us anything else, we called corporate that said they didn&'t see the damage in the photos, and are currently waiting again after 6 phone calls last night, 3 emails, and 2 more this morning and still have no clue what&'s going on. My husband and I had to resort to sleeping on the couch with both us having extreme back problems and not knowing what to do with the mattress. Worst experience I&'ve ever had and I was soo looking forward to a good night sleep. I pray to God they resolve this quickly, I&'m sick and tired of getting screwed over. Now tell me this isn&'t damaged. Run as fast as you can. Update: they finally called me back said they can&'t deliver a new mattress until wednesday, it&'s Saturday, and there&'s nothing else they can do. I&'m so upset and pissed off. This isn&'t fair and i don&'t know what to do until Wednesday. They said they&'re just going off my word because according to the suvery, i didn&'t take, i had an excellent experience. I&'m waiting on the moving company to call me now to complain about their drivers. Just stay away, go somewhere else. We shopped hmaelrst time at Ashley on route 211 Middletown was friendly, knowledgable and professional! He greeted us as fow moments after we entered the store explained what we were looking for and Ishmaelhelped us with the dimensions we needed he showed us all the sectionals and told us about the discount we could get and the colors the couch was available in. He was not pushy at all as he walked through the store together. He helped clinertus find. a recliner that would match colors of the couch we had chosen and we found the perfect recliner. He did plenty of smiling and laughing along with us. Purchased a couch set today on a walk-in first time visiting an Ashley’s location on rte. 211 in Middletown, NY. Within just a few moments of entry a member of the sales team, Ishmael greeted us warmly and informed us he would be our “trusted advisor”. We informed Ishmael of what we were looking for and the dimensions we had to deal with and he quickly informed us of the best options available to us and his recommendations. Ishmael was patient and spent time to explain each piece. Ishmael informed us he was a new to the floor employee, but I would have never known. Ishmael was EXTREMELY knowledgeable and informative on each collection we looked at. Ishmael even spent extra time to give me demonstrations and try out other furniture he was aware that I would not be purchasing today. He helped us to get the best price available and to make sure we received and fully understood all the sales and protection plans available to us. We had a great experience at Ashley’s furniture Homestore and will definitely be return customers! Treated like a Queen 👑 Ask for Ishmael (Trusted Advisor )and Richard (Assistant Manager) ! They went above and beyond! I came into the store, accompanied by my mom, having done some online research. I knew the exact name of the bedroom collection I was after (Realyn) . Mr Alicea knew exactly where to find it in the showroom. I was also in serious need of a new mattress - mine was over ten years old and well overdue for upgrade. I was taken to the back to test out top of the line Tempur-Pedic Queen mattresses. I had an injury to my Achilles’ tendon last April and Richard told me about his wife who had nine surgeries and noticed a huge difference in her quality of sleep with her Tempur-Pedic. I was sold! I decided I wanted both the Realyn bedroom set and Tempur-Pedic. The staff was super friendly, helpful and patient with me. They worked together as a team to come up with a more than reasonable payment plan. They took the time and gave me options. They knew everything about the products. They answered all my questions. Even the little things like offering my mom and I bottled water and snacks did not go unnoticed. My mom and I were treated like queens. I want to appauld our sales associate, Suzanne Ficken for the excellent service she provided us. Not only did she go beyond her duty, she did so with care and compassion. She moved furniture to help us see how the table would work in our own home and we were sold!! I was told I have to wait for them to send the materials to repair which will take about 2 weeks . And then another 6 to 8 weeks for the expert to repair the defective parts. Will never shop there again. Ridiculous, then I had to wait 4 weeks for the furniture to be delivered in the first place. Don't shop here people not worth the headache .

I change my furniture about every 5 years, and everything had to be from Ashley Home Store. They use to have a nice beautiful selection of quality items. I don't know what happened, as I can no longer say... "It must come from Ashley Home Store." The upside... if you do shop in there, ask for Michael F. He is honest, patient, knowledgeable and he will help shopping there with ease.

I went in for a king size bed I saw online with a mattress and two night tables. Ended up only getting one night stand table apparently the person who took my order forgot one (IDK HOW I GOT TWO LAMPS TO GO WITH THE TABLEs)oh and not to mentions ALSO FORGOT THE BOX SPRINGS FOR THE BED ORDERED!!!!! I get the mattress delivered and you can see the springs on the bed and feel them! So I call and they have a no return policy and couldn’t offer anything to help. Insane how I got into a well known place who I am believing to sell QUALITY furniture and I get? FIRST AND LAST TIME FOR ME!!

me and my wife just had a horrible experience with Ashley&'s Furniture we brought a bedroom set the bed came in perfect condition one of the drawers was good but the other drawers handle broke and they covered it up with their styrofoam and tape not knowing so when we were putting clothing away we had to open up the drawer and it broke off the couch that we ordered did not fit and these people wanted us to pay an extra $200 to put it over a balcony through the sliding doors that we have we told him no and they give us a little attitude because we had them return all three pieces of the couch. to Ashley&'s Furniture business is business money is money me and my wife spended well-earned money we busted our asses to get this furniture you messed up the delivery date and then you messed up our drawer and couch great doing business with you.

Salesman nick told me driver will take mattress. Driver refuses to. All the care about is the sale. Will not be going back to your store and will tell everyone not to use the store.

WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! I bought a fireplace August 15th, it was delivered August 20th. Everything looked great! Later that night we went to put the fire place on and it just was not working at all. Turning itself on and off, beeping like crazy, lighting up and turning off on its own. So Aug 21st I called and ordered whatever part they said I needed to get it fixed. It was delivered August 31st. October 8th it had still not been fixed, so I called and they told me they could not get anyone to come and service the item and that they were just going to replace the unit. The fireplace company told me to get in contact with Ashley HomeStore to set up a time. I did this October 10th. On October 15th Ashley HomeStore told me to get in contact with Dimplex to order the part!!! So that is a whole other story and long conversation with both Ashley and Dimplex. Now on November 5th, my unit is still not fixed or replaced. And I am having the same exact conversation with these people the first time I have called. HORRIBLE customer service. Will never buy another piece from this company.

This is by far the worst customer service I have ever had in my entire life. Bought a furniture set on Labor Day weekend (September 1st). Furniture was on back order so had to wait an entire month for set to get delivered which was understandable. The day of delivery October 2nd, the bed rails were damaged. The delivery people left the damaged ones here in a cardboard box and we have not heard one word back from anybody. No follow up call, no apology about the damage...NOTHING. Contacted customer service by phone and they said bedrails will be in by the week of the October 25th. They also said someone would call me and set up delivery...and to my expectation, nobody reached out by phone or responded to any of my emails. Here we are 2 months later we are still sleeping on a mattress on the floor and even better, I get a bill in the mail for $2,000 for furniture that I haven&'t even received yet. I would not recommend Ashley furniture to my own worst enemy.
Never again recieved a broken couch and have been getting the runaround for almost a month now to have a so called technician come out to fix it, even though I paid the extra 249.99 for the warranty. Also bought a nightstand that was supposed to be delivered by November 6th and 3 and half weeks later I get told it's discontinued and they have something similar but since its 20 dollars more they cant even do a price match. So they are quick to take the money and give you the runaround but dont care if you actually get what you ordered. When I was there, there was a lady complaining about a similar issue and she was talking to the assistant manager telling him the same runaround for 6 weeks that should of been a sign right there not to order anything from them lesson learned.

Bad customer service and bad management
I am EXTREMELY UNHAPPY with Ashley furniture. I purchased a couch 2 years ago for $2,000 from them. Just 10 months after I made the purchase I called to complain about how the couch was wearing, the material became very pilly, fuzzy and very unattractive to look at. I shouldn't be unhappy with a $2,000 purchase JUST 10 months later. After going back and forth for DAYS they sent me ONLY two replacement cushions. It is now 2 years later, I am still unhappy with the couch, so much that I have to turn over all of my cushions when I have guests over because I am embarrassed by the couch. Yesterday I was in Home Goods, which is just down the road from the Ashley that I purchased the couch from, and I see my EXACT couch, throw pillows and all, FOR $800!!!!! I called to complain about this again, after going back and forth even more with them, they are not willing to do anything at all for me. I will never buy anything from this store again. Shouldn't their sales people be more educated about specifics and materials, like "oh, is this couch going to be in a living room that no one ever sits in or do you plan to watch TV on it every night, because this material does not wear nicely over time. " If I had known my couch would look the way it does now I would have never bought it! Now I have to hate my couch AND see if for sale for less that $1200 than I paid for it! I couldn't even get the rest of my cushions replaced?! At the end of the day its just about sales and making money, they do not have the customers best interest in mind at all. Thanks for the shitty couch.

My 82 yr old uncle purchased a bedroom set here all was ok bed was a normal hight but when my uncle got his delivery he made the mistake of signing first when all was done his bed was literally 36" off the floor that's the hight of a kitchen counter top. Ashley states that since my uncle signed for his delivery they can't do anything about it shame on Ashley furniture for taking advantage of an 82 yr man with short term dementia. I'll make dam sure my friends and family know how Ashley furniture treat there customers....

Bought a sofa and loveseat, two years later the leather on the sofa is peeling like a bad sunburn and the worthless "protection" plan that cost almost $300.00 won't cover it. If I could give a zero star rating I would. What I won't be doing is buying anything else at Ashley's and I won't be recommending them either.

Great furniture
Check amazon first. Called about a chair to match our living room set. They asked me to come in to purchase it. I did. A woman helped me and price matched the chair with the website. It was a $239 chair with a $79.99 delivery fee!!!! She said I could pick it up but it was in Edison NJ. The soonest delivery date was July 5th... 2.5 weeks from when I purchased the chair. Went home and on Amazon and found the exact chair for $109 and free delivery in two days with prime. I cancelled the order from Ashley. Also, while the woman was ringing me up, she was talking to another employee through the headset and told her that if the gentleman she was working with wasn’t going to buy anything, she needed to move on to someone else. This just seemed rude to me.

Meh. Don't go there without doing some homework and looking online first. They'll try to play games and make you pay extra for no reason. They told me options for fireplaces were not available when the website clearly states there is. Just order online if you already know what you want instead.

Bought a sofa less than a year ago and the cushions are pilling. Called manufacturer and was informed that pilling is not covered under 1 year manufactures warranty. Also informed that service protection plan that I purchased also doesn’t cover pilling. DO NOT BUT ANYTHING FROM ASHLEY..Terrible company

Brian put an item on my sale receipt that I did not ask for and the Supervisor Lindsay agreed that I have to pay for it. I advise people not to buy anything out of this Ashley store. They are dishonest to their customers. They need to be band. I hope because of their dishonesty they close down and there business closes. They are a disgusting business. I am very disappointed with Ashley's Furniture Store! First, I've been expecting a delivery from them since 1130am. They actually gave me a 4 hour window for them to make a delivery??! I now not only able to leave and handle my errands for these 4 hours but they don't even show up?! I HAD TO CALL THEM TO FIND OUT WHATS GOING ON..only for them to tell me they need an additional hour or two before they arrive! Second, the customer service stinks and really gave no clear answers to my questions. Very disappointed considering how much money I've spent with this company...smh

We had a great experience at the store itself but an absolutely horrific experience with delivery. The couch came with a rip on the bottom and filthy. We called corporate WITH the movers there because we didn’t want the couch and the movers insisted they couldn’t stay any longer and had to go to their next delivery. Corporate said that they would document this and it wouldn’t be a problem. When we contacted them after the movers left they were not helpful whatsoever and said that whoever we spoke to while the movers were in our home did not take those notes. So now, we are left with a disgusting couch with filth and a rip. I couldn’t be more disappointed.
received my furniture without the mirror. Sales guy (Rich) pointed out the pieces I am getting, so if he's pointing at the dresser that has the mirror attached, i would assume the sku number he's putting in the system is the dresser with the mirror. Don't point at something but not say it doesn't come with the mirror. if you are pointing at the dresser that has the mirror, i should receive the dresser with the mirror because that's what i told you I wanted. Simple process, simple job.
I just wanted to say that my wife and I went into Ashley's last night around 730-8 o'clock and this woman Ayda came right over to us to help us and let me tell you she was so friendly and helpful with trying to help us pick out a couch for our new apartment. She made sure it was the payments we wanted for the right price. We couldn't be happier with our selection and we will be going back to ask for her when we need some more items for our apartment. She is a really good asset to your team and you should be lucky to have such a nice, friendly, and cheerful employee. Great job Ashley's on Ayda!! I will be telling people to go in and ask for her!!
My husband and I were at Ashley furniture on Presidents Day in Poughkeepsie and the experience was a good one we were greeted by Elliott. He helped us find a couch, chair and end table. He was great! Then we were introduced to Juan he was awesome! He helped with the financing which took some time with on the phone and such. He was very patient and helpful! Went to Ashley Furniture to inquire about a bed I saw online. I was greeted by Shavoy. He was so pleasant and very helpful with all of my questions. He took his time to explain everything in detail. I visited the store today on my lunch hour to browse the dining room sets. I really wasn't looking to buy but wanted to have an idea of what they offered. I was greeted by Otis who allowed me the oppurtunity to explore without over whelming me with the urge to make a sale. He heard me talking to myself about the need for a large table but hating the leafs. Well he excused himself for overhearing (what can only be described as the mutterings of a crazy person lol) and offered to show me a set that he thought would be perfect and he was RIGHT. The table had a leaf that folded inwards and would keep me from having to remove and replace it. Well I purchased that 7pc dining set and I can not wait for it to arrive
