Over the past 10 years I have furnished three homes with Ashley Outlet. The last two I worked with the assistant manager Howard. Most recently, there were a few complications with my order. Howard and his team stepped right in and solved them all. I am happy to say I will be sleeping on my new mattress tonight due to Howard and Vincent’s swift problem solving skills. I highly recommend everyone going to see Howard for all their home furnishing needs

At first I thought the salesman (I won’t reveal his name) went above & beyond to help my family get a couch! But I was never made aware of ALL the terms and conditions. NEVER given a copy of my lease. Was told it would be a month until payment came out and it came out 2 weeks later, which made me negative in my bank, bc I wasn’t ready. No one helped me. Acima told me Ashley’s knew info they were denying. As a single mom, I feel like I got ROYALLY screwed. They do not look out for their customers. Only the quick buck they make. I won’t ever shop here again! Quality of the furniture is horrible too! Very upset!

I went into Ashley to check out a mattress. I was treated very warmly and after searching for months I finally bought a mattress. I would shop there again with no hesitation.

They were very attentive to assist me in my purchase but they make promises they have no intention of keeping or making good on. My furniture was promised to be delivered by the 9th because I wanted it asap and they promised me that I would get it sooner and now they’re telling me that there’s no guarantees and tomorrow is the ninth. I still have not heard anything from the delivery people and now I’m not getting a response from the sales person. Buyers Beware if you have expectations for a fast delivery.

Sadly I need to edit my review of Ashley Outlet. The customer service went absolutely down the drain after leaving the store. After buying over $6,000 worth of merchandise, the customer service ended there. After a week of no call, no email, no delivery information and no merchandise that we paid for. I had to call and figure out where our 2 beds were?? Only to find of that our order was back ordered. I called to the store to cancel. Maria and answered the phone and said “okay”. I asked for something to be emailed to me as proof of cancellation. Nothing was sent. The manager Austin called me back to see what he could do to help us not cancel our order. He said he would get us expedited shipping and a discount for our troubles. 1 hour later he calls back and offers shipment scheduled for another week wait with no discount. I said “can’t you do better than that for a discount”. He repeated the same sales pitch I received in the store how they can’t give me a discount due to what we ordered and how we chose to pay for our order. I said “I would like a refund”. Austin hung up on me!! No apology, no thank you, no GOODBYE!! Wow!! We are very happy we cancelled. Now to track to make sure we get a full refund. We are not feeling confident. Thank you for the wonderful in store customer service Howard, but that’s all we can offer as far a review.

Never shop here - this is the worst experience I have ever had with any company. Every step of this experience had an incorrect step taken by several employees of this store. However, my biggest issue with this store specifically is how the manager, Howard, handled my situation. Because of the incorrect promise and confirmation of his employee, he never took ownership of the error made by his employee which caused us to be without a couch for over 8 weeks. He never apologized or had any empathy for my situation. Months later when I had an issue with the delivery, I spoke to Howard again who then provided me his direct cell phone number but refused to pick up any of my calls after explaining he would escalate my situation to the Regional Lead and he would follow up with me directly. He never got in contact with me again, and I was required to call the store over 10 times over the next few days while I was on vacation, because they had over $1000 of my money for items I never received and would never receive. I then had to provide my situation additional times to other employees who were then finally able to eventually resolve my issue. Even after it was resolved, I did not receive my full refund and had to contact the store, and they still provided an incorrect amount, forcing me to go to the store to retrieve my full refund. My overall experience was absolutely horrific and I will never shop here and I will make sure anyone I speak to never shops with Ashley.

I bought a sofa on June 5th and we scheduled the delivery for July 10. When we visited the store after July 10, we came to know they changed it to July 19, and they said they will call us to confirm, but no one called, so today July 17, I called to confirm delivery and we came to know that there is no scheduled date yet!! It’s hard to believe these people don’t care once you pay them. I don't have a sofa at home and I don't even have a scheduled delivery date after we paid for it. Avoid shopping at this store.

From the minute we walked into the showroom Austin made us feel comfortable. After we introduced ourselves, we explained what we were looking for and Austin gave us all the info we needed. Within 20 minutes we were ready to purchase, and Austin had the purchase done 15 minutes later. A truly great experience!

My husband and I inquired about buying a couch on Sunday, and we decided to go with a different vendor. I kindly communicated with Ashley customer service that unfortunately I had a better financing deal and would not be purchasing the couch. Please let me reiterate my husband and I signed nothing . We authorized nothing . Today we found out that Ashley went ahead and charged our credit card over $4,200 and wanted to deliver a couch that I never ordered. I never signed for this purchase and I never ever ever authorized it. I have spent the whole day disputing these charges, and explaining my situation and what Ashley did to us. To add insult to injury, we left the store on Sunday emotionally upset because our dog had just passed away a week prior . The salesman gave his condolences, and told us to take our time deciding on the couch . So it amazes me that the next day they actually charged my credit card without my permission after telling me how sorry they were that my dog had passed. I highly suggest anyone in the market for furniture, stay as far away from this company as possible. I have still not been given an explanation as to how or why my credit card was charged without any type of authorization. It is a crime that this business is allowed to stay open; don't be their next victim. Their furnture is subpar at best and you don't want your credit card charged without your permission. They need to be held accountable as they certainly don't have the customers best interest in mind, but instead their Commission. STAY AWAY!! Store in Middletown, NY. Manager was Austin.

I went into Ashley Home Store on a whim. I was in the area (by chance) and I had been looking for a dining table set for over a year. I fid share that I had been searching for a dining table for a while now and just dropped In because I was an the area (first time) and got a glimpse of the store. I had been looking at something very similar in another store for months, only thing, the quality wasn’t so great. The set I purchased was of much better quality. Update to comment below: Ashley redeemed themselves. The outlet was easier to navigate with the help of Adeyta who walked me through the virtual catalogue. We are more than happy with our purchase of two new bedroom sets. What happened to the sturdy furniture and floor displays? This felt like a warehouse with compressed wood furniture. I was disappointed because I bought quality furniture here before covid. Sad to see such a dramatic change.

I worked with the store manager Brian who was amazing. Right from the start he made me feel comfortable. Brian took his time to explain the benefits of each product such as the higher density cushions and self repair zippers. Soon after Brian offered offered get me fitted for a mattress. If he did not ask I never would have known Ashley's sold mattresses and bases. He was extremely knowledgeable and explained everything from the pillow to the mattress protector. I did not have the best experience a few months ago in a different Ashley's store but I I will this now! Brian ensured my option was changed 100%. I will now only come back and ask to work with Brian. Taylor was the sales lady who helped write up the ticket and she was extremely patient and took her time doing the paperwork. I will be sure to ask for her help if Brian is not there.

(We got a good shelving unit, too but it's on backorder.). They have a lot of nice sofa choices at good prices, so I'd recommend checking them out and asking for Cynthia T. Purchased a furniture set here 6 years ago give or take. Being that it was the most expensive thing I had ever owned because at the time I lived month to month, I figured insurance was a solid call. Paid quite a handsome fee for it to. Well not that long ago right before that insurance was going to expire I figured I should call it in on various issues with the items that developed over the years. Come to find out that they use a third party who makes it as difficult as possible to make good on a claim in the hopes that most normal people will just give up and not bother. To be clear, with enough gumption you can certainly get your claim through, but I don't find it to be an ethical sales practice to partner yourself with a company that operates under the business model of "make it difficult for the customer so they go away and we take their money for no service rendered". When I had an issue with a Raymore item they had their own people handle it. I sent a picture and it was handled shortly there after. Now that I no longer have to live month to month and can enjoy nicer pieces of furniture I will be going out of my way to spend my hard earned money with Raymore.

Walking into the store I didn't know what my expectations would be looking at a mattress. Greeted by an amazing guy, Howard very respectful and attentive to our needs. Came in and was able to find mattress but also a couch and recliner for myself. Customer service is above reproach here, and not to mention the prices!

Howard was extremely helpful. He was very knowledgeable of the merchandise that I was interested in. He went above and beyond to find the merchandise that was available now for me. I will be sending my friends and family who are looking for new furniture to seek Howard for help and his expertise. Again, Howard was awesome and made this experience joyful!

Howard greeted us when we walked through the door and made us feel welcomed. He asked if there was anything we had in mind we were looking for. We were looking for a couch and the first suggestion he made we fell in love. His customer service was amazing and he was very personable. I went there to buy a matress and met Edytha at first and she explained so well what i've look for.. and then when i decided, Taylor ans the manager (i think his name is Bryan) also help me to process the transaction and it was so helpful imho. Thank you guys

Ashley Outlet was our 5th stop of the day by the time we arrived we were extremely discouraged with all previous stores being way over priced. My boyfriend and I were looking for a couch for our new very tiny apartment. Edyta greeted us at the door and was so friendly from the start. We told her what we were looking for and she immediately jumped into action to find us the perfect fit. She took the time to listen to our needs and never once put any pressure on us to make a purchase. We told her that we had been looking all day and found one we liked at the regular ashley store but it was expensive. Edyta again jumped into action and tried to find it on their website to see if they could price match the couch for us. We ended up purchasing one of the couches she showed us. I have worked in the retail world for 10 years and I wish I had a million Edyta’s!!!! She was the sweetest, extremely knowledgeable and made me feel so comfortable making a large purchase. Thank you Edyta!!!

I had some difficulties buying a dinning room table online and I called the outlet at Middletown and lovely Cynthia and Bryan was able to help me. They were so patient and helped me get the right table for the chairs I wanted. They made my shopping experience so easy. Cynthia took her time looking for the right item for me and I was able to get a fast delivery before Thanksgiving in addition to the great price they offered. Great store, great customer service.
