My sister and I just moved into our first apartment and were couch hunting. This place was our last store to do into. Initially we only came in to look and see what we liked so we can go over all the ones we seen that day at other stores, but the salesman Rabah showed us only a few before we both fell in love with the same piece! He was patient with the both of us going back and forth until we decided we weren’t leaving until we bought it! It took a while for the paperwork which dampened the excitement but all and all it was a good experience. Definitely thinking about buying other pieces here for the apartment

He has very good taste i was able to give him the vision of what i wanted and he helped me map out how i should have the living room . At first I thought the salesman (I won’t reveal his name) went above & beyond to help my family get a couch! But I was never made aware of ALL the terms and conditions. NEVER given a copy of my lease. Was told it would be a month until payment came out and it came out 2 weeks later, which made me negative in my bank, bc I wasn’t ready. No one helped me. Acima told me Ashley’s knew info they were denying. As a single mom, I feel like I got ROYALLY screwed. They do not look out for their customers. Only the quick buck they make. I won’t ever shop here again! Quality of the furniture is horrible too! Very upset!

I went into Ashley to check out a mattress. I was treated very warmly and after searching for months I finally bought a mattress. I would shop there again with no hesitation.

They were very attentive to assist me in my purchase but they make promises they have no intention of keeping or making good on. My furniture was promised to be delivered by the 9th because I wanted it asap and they promised me that I would get it sooner and now they’re telling me that there’s no guarantees and tomorrow is the ninth. I still have not heard anything from the delivery people and now I’m not getting a response from the sales person. Buyers Beware if you have expectations for a fast delivery.

Sadly I need to edit my review of Ashley Outlet. The customer service went absolutely down the drain after leaving the store. After buying over $6,000 worth of merchandise, the customer service ended there. After a week of no call, no email, no delivery information and no merchandise that we paid for. I had to call and figure out where our 2 beds were?? Only to find of that our order was back ordered. I called to the store to cancel. Maria and answered the phone and said “okay”. I asked for something to be emailed to me as proof of cancellation. Nothing was sent. The manager Austin called me back to see what he could do to help us not cancel our order. He said he would get us expedited shipping and a discount for our troubles. 1 hour later he calls back and offers shipment scheduled for another week wait with no discount. I said “can’t you do better than that for a discount”. He repeated the same sales pitch I received in the store how they can’t give me a discount due to what we ordered and how we chose to pay for our order. I said “I would like a refund”. Austin hung up on me!! No apology, no thank you, no GOODBYE!! Wow!! We are very happy we cancelled. Now to track to make sure we get a full refund. We are not feeling confident. Thank you for the wonderful in store customer service Howard, but that’s all we can offer as far a review.

Never shop here - this is the worst experience I have ever had with any company. Every step of this experience had an incorrect step taken by several employees of this store. However, my biggest issue with this store specifically is how the manager, Howard, handled my situation. Because of the incorrect promise and confirmation of his employee, he never took ownership of the error made by his employee which caused us to be without a couch for over 8 weeks. He never apologized or had any empathy for my situation. Months later when I had an issue with the delivery, I spoke to Howard again who then provided me his direct cell phone number but refused to pick up any of my calls after explaining he would escalate my situation to the Regional Lead and he would follow up with me directly. He never got in contact with me again, and I was required to call the store over 10 times over the next few days while I was on vacation, because they had over $1000 of my money for items I never received and would never receive. I then had to provide my situation additional times to other employees who were then finally able to eventually resolve my issue. Even after it was resolved, I did not receive my full refund and had to contact the store, and they still provided an incorrect amount, forcing me to go to the store to retrieve my full refund. My overall experience was absolutely horrific and I will never shop here and I will make sure anyone I speak to never shops with Ashley.

From the minute we walked into the showroom Austin made us feel comfortable. After we introduced ourselves, we explained what we were looking for and Austin gave us all the info we needed. Within 20 minutes we were ready to purchase, and Austin had the purchase done 15 minutes later. A truly great experience!

My husband and I inquired about buying a couch on Sunday, and we decided to go with a different vendor. I kindly communicated with Ashley customer service that unfortunately I had a better financing deal and would not be purchasing the couch. Please let me reiterate my husband and I signed nothing . We authorized nothing . Today we found out that Ashley went ahead and charged our credit card over $4,200 and wanted to deliver a couch that I never ordered. I never signed for this purchase and I never ever ever authorized it. I have spent the whole day disputing these charges, and explaining my situation and what Ashley did to us. To add insult to injury, we left the store on Sunday emotionally upset because our dog had just passed away a week prior . The salesman gave his condolences, and told us to take our time deciding on the couch . So it amazes me that the next day they actually charged my credit card without my permission after telling me how sorry they were that my dog had passed. I highly suggest anyone in the market for furniture, stay as far away from this company as possible. I have still not been given an explanation as to how or why my credit card was charged without any type of authorization. It is a crime that this business is allowed to stay open; don't be their next victim. Their furnture is subpar at best and you don't want your credit card charged without your permission. They need to be held accountable as they certainly don't have the customers best interest in mind, but instead their Commission. STAY AWAY!! Store in Middletown, NY. Manager was Austin.

Howard was so funny and cool and did an amazing job. The level of patience given as we went from mattress to mattress finding the perfect one was above and beyond exceptional.

We recently went to Ashley Furniture in Middletown NY and was greeted by a young man named Ty. Ty was extremely help knowledgeable and friendly he was not pushy or a hard salesman. It was a pleasant experience and would highly recommend Ty should you find yourself in need of furniture.

We are more than happy with our purchase of two new bedroom sets. What happened to the sturdy furniture and floor displays? This felt like a warehouse with compressed wood furniture. I was disappointed because I bought quality furniture here before covid. Sad to see such a dramatic change.

I worked with the store manager Brian who was amazing. Right from the start he made me feel comfortable. Brian took his time to explain the benefits of each product such as the higher density cushions and self repair zippers. Soon after Brian offered offered get me fitted for a mattress. If he did not ask I never would have known Ashley's sold mattresses and bases. He was extremely knowledgeable and explained everything from the pillow to the mattress protector. I did not have the best experience a few months ago in a different Ashley's store but I I will this now! Brian ensured my option was changed 100%. I will now only come back and ask to work with Brian. Taylor was the sales lady who helped write up the ticket and she was extremely patient and took her time doing the paperwork. I will be sure to ask for her help if Brian is not there.

We needed a sofa with built-in recliners, and they had several choices. We also needed a shelving unit. Sales Rep Cynthia T. assisted us and we appreciated how professional, patient and friendly she was. Plus she wasn't pushy. She helped us select the perfect sofa for us. (We got a good shelving unit, too but it's on backorder.). They have a lot of nice sofa choices at good prices, so I'd recommend checking them out and asking for Cynthia T. Also, sofa delivery was a smooth process. The two gentlemen who delivered were on time, and were extra careful not to let the sofa touch the walls or damage anything. A great experience overall.

Love the bedroom set we purchased. Caitlin was great at the store and the guys that delivered were quick and thorough with setting it up. And with the protection plan no worries about it for a few years and by then will prob want a new set anyway.

When my headband and I walked into Ashley's, we were greeted by Taylor, who was so helpful and very knowledgeable, based on our needs, she showed us pieces she would recommend. We purchased a reclining love seat, a sofa and a love seat, and an XL twin bed mattress and movable bottom piece. Taylor was very professional throughout this process. I would recommend Ashley's Discount Furniture in Middletown, it was a great experience.

I recently bought a dining room set and living room tables at the Ashley Outlet in Middletown. I couldn’t be happier with the entire process. The saleswoman Cynthia could not have been more helpful or more professional. I happened to walk in when she was pretty busy helping other customers but she made sure to acknowledge me and let me know she would be right over to help, which is exactly what she did…and did again when someone else walked in. She took care of everything so expeditiously. I would recommend her and this store to anyone!!
