I had the pleasure of working with Josh, The Manager of the Patchogue store. He was kind and helped me overcome a challenging situation with products that needed to be exchanged ! Honestly his amazing knowledge of every product in this store was really impressive. I needed products that would help me with comfort to deal with chronic pain in my hip and spine. He actually designed pieces together that worked really well!! His creativity along with his expertise were terrific and he solved what I really needed in the way of products that were not only attractive but truly were so comfortable I was very happy. He helped me more that the corporate Customer Service and he truly took stress off of me! I highly recommend this store not only for quality products and timely delivery, but for EXCEPTIONAL personal service!! Im giving a BIG SHOUT OUT TO GAGE at the Ashley Stewart location in Patchogue, Sunrise Highway. He was so helpful, patient, and a professional. What a humble, great guy. He was not just trying to sell me anything. He cared. He was the reason I made my purchase. I really went in there to look and get ideas. I absolutely had no intention on buying. If he was not able to answer my question, he asked his co worker for assistance. He actually pointed out the furniture that I bought. Gage was a man of his word. He tracked my shipment and communicated this info to me in the days leading to my delivery. He was engaged in my delivery up to an hour prior to its delivery. Once it was delivered. I contacted Gage and expressed my delight in my purchase. Ashley Stewart is lucky to have Gage on their team!!!

The WORST customer service I’ve ever had the misfortune of dealing with. I ordered and PAID for a dining set on November 3rd. They told me it wasn’t in the warehouse but it should be delivered the first week of December. I received no email or calls from Ashley so I called on December 5th. They said it would not be delivered until the fourth week of January. COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE. The set was supposed to be for a Christmas family get together. I guess that’s not happening. I guess we’ll just sit on milk crates and use upside down garbage cans. Thanks Ashley. Merry ……. My experience at Ashley Furniture in patchogue was a clear lesson in how misleading sales tactics can ruin what should be a simple purchase. Our salesman quoted specific prices, promised certain items were returnable, and assured us we were receiving a discount. None of that turned out to be true. The final invoice reflected different pricing, the “returnable” items were actually final sale, and the so-called discount never existed. These aren’t minor misunderstandings — they’re misrepresentations presented as fact. A quick search shows Ashley has faced numerous consumer complaints and even class-action lawsuits, and our experience unfortunately fits that pattern. For anyone considering shopping here: get everything in writing and double-check every number, or better yet, take your business somewhere more transparent.

Nick was only of the kindest and most professional salesman I have encountered while shopping for furniture. He cared about my family's needs and concerns and helped us to find the right right piece and price for us. Highly recommend will be back

I will never buy here again. I purchased the protection plan for 5 years. It has been not even 3 years. I put in a claim for a broken chair leg and they said it was not covered. They wanted me to pay an additional $99. What a scam. What's the point of the plan? Go to Raymour and Flannigan. Save yourself aggravation.

Nick P. from Ashley's Patchogue location was patient, honest and knowledgeable. He really listened to us and answered every question in the store as well as after we left when I called with more. He slowly explained everything, as many times as we needed without hesitation and was happy to help. He did a demonstration for us on the performance fabric which led us to changing our color choice to a lighter color. Nick took the time to change our whole order in the cart to the lighter color for us. He was phenomenal. He showed us the payment breakdowns and was extremely thorough. Couldn't be happier. I also have to give a shout out to all the staff working at that location on 11/22/25. While I was chatting and placing an order with Nick, my 2 young kids had endless energy and were starting to run around. Literally everyone who worked in the store had fun, positive interactions with my kids, talked to them and gave them water and offered other beverages. This made my whole experience less stressful! It's a team effort, and Ashley's in Patchogue are doing it right! Thank you Nick and to the rest of the staff!

Hands down the BEST experience I have EVER had shopping for furniture .. no… for anything in my entire life! Ian rearranged half the showroom, used visual aids AND a tape measure to make sure I knew exactly what I was buying and how much space I’d have. Idk what kind of pay rate the man is at now but it’s not enough. The man deserves a raise !!!! I 1000% recommend this location !!!!!!

My husband and I were looking for a recliner that would fit a small space, upon entry we were greeted by Gage who respected our space and was so informative when we needed. As he was assisting us he was so gracious to everyone who entered the store. Greeting, great smile , fabulous manners. It was an absolute pleasure to meet and speak with Gage. We were surprised to hear from another sales rep he was new, since Gage had so much knowledge and we felt absolutely no pressure that is normally felt when visiting a show room. Horrible customer service !!!! I ordered pillows and never received them. I kept calling and was given the run around. They said they would call me back when the manager came in the store no one called me back. I went to the store and the manager was there and no help at all. I will never buy anything from them again.

Walked in needing a new bedroom set. It was my son’s old bedroom and wanted to make it a guest room. We were dealing with a cape cod, so limited space due to design of ceiling etc . I had Karim, who was so kind and patient and helped me and my husband pick out a lovely set, including mattress and also an accent chair. He took his time and was especially kind and knowledgeable ans so helpful! We cannot wait to get our set .. we will be going back to Ashley and will use Karim again.. all of the staff was also friendly and accommodating ! Thanks, Ashley! Beautiful Furniture & Great Service! I bought a sectional, coffee table, and TV stand with an electric fireplace from Ashley Home Furniture, and I’m thrilled with my purchase! The delivery team was on time, professional, and careful with everything. The sectional is super comfortable, the coffee table looks amazing, and the fireplace stand makes the room warm and cozy. Great quality, great service—highly recommend!

I went to the Farmingdale location and was hesitant due to the bad reviews; however, I worked with Karim, the salesperson, and he was excellent and patient with me! Even his manager was very kind and offered my friend and I water. I like the fact that he was not pushy and allowed me to take my time in deciding what I wanted. He was also very communicative during the process of getting my couch and headboard delivered. If you need to get some new furniture, please request for Karim!

Evan was amazing, the best salesman we’ve ever worked with. We went in around Memorial Day when they were having big sales and found a couch we loved. We were also in the process of house hunting so were unable to purchase or finance the couch at the time. He helped us put it on layaway to lock in the price. Went in every month to put money down where he took the time to chat with us. Finally are moving out this week and had the option to finance or pay off the couch and he scheduled it to be delivered already! He never tried to upsell us anything, was never pushy. Extremely helpful listened to what we wanted, helped us figure out different configurations. Evan is truly the best of the best!!

PSA- Make this make sense! 🙄 I purchased a specific size twin mattress for a new trundle bed at Ashley furniture They deliver it I was in a rush to go pick up my son from school so I say just leave it in the plastic & I’ll organize it later. That weekend I open up the plastic and this toxic chemical smell comes oozing out. I quickly re-tape and put on all the air purifiers and place charcoal bags & baking soda to deodorize out the VOCs. I call them to return it. They say that they have to send out an inspector. He indeed confirms that it smells and customer service will contact me. I had to have an argument with customer service because they wanted to send me back another one So we agreed upon a credit and they told me to go to the store and pick something out. When I got there, they advise the only thing that I could purchase was something that was what they would consider deliverable, which includes large furniture, mattresses or rugs. Nothing that they sell online or smaller items. So, all their toxic products basically I mean really- is Ashley furniture a high-end Hamptons boutique where I have no option to make returns? Anyhow, my point is is that the policy is ridiculous, their products are toxic and you should probably not shop there

My parents went on this past Wednesday to look at options for our living room. They were helped by Nicholas P who guided them to a few different options that my parents really liked but wanted my input on. We came back today and Nicholas was incredibly kind asking if we wanted a drink as we looked around at the contenders. We ended up finding a blue loveseat and sectional with recliners that will help my dad who is on disability. Overall a great experience, we are excited for our furniture to arrive in just a few days. Will update if anything notable about our delivery experience.

Nick was fantastic! We needed very specific furniture dimensions to fit our bedroom and Nick was more than happy to help us measure everything! He showed us how we could interchange some pieces of the sets to fit our room. He went above and beyond. He moved drawers from one mango wood bedroom set to another to show us how the wood matched and how the styles would look together! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

I purchased a whole new bedroom set and mattress. I walked in knowing this was going to be an expensive purchase so I was a bit nervous. Ian greeted me and started the process and Nick came in a few minutes later. They both helped me choose my bedroom set, mattress and frame. I felt at ease the whole time. Purchased a Bronwyn swivel recliner. Loved this recliner when I first bought it for the look, comfort and price. I've had it for maybe 5 years or less. I'm not a big guy and weigh around 160 lbs. Chair was perfect new. Unfortunately the upolstry has sunken considerably to the point of me feeling the sharp frame around the arms and the lower back portion is sunken to the point that causes great discomfort and lower back pain. Trying to compensate with pillows but not working. I'll need to replace it. Great chair and price to start but apparently not meant to last.

The 2 deliverymen that delivered my couch and ottoman were A+. Very professional kept everything neat. Knew exactly what they were doing. Which gave me reassurance. My time was 11:30till3:30 they came at 12:15pm. Found townhouse no issues.I also want to add Ian was very helpful in helping me find what I wanted. Very knowledgeble about products. Fast forward 4 years and the rail screws are falling out left and right causing the chair to be wobbly and unstable. Yesterday, I filed a claim and today I was told the rails are not covered. They would be happy to fix a burn or a spill but nope, manufacturer defects not included. tsk tsk Ashley. That is a bait and switch warranty if ever i did see one!!! Buyer Beware!

Went into Ashley’s furniture on a whim to look for a couch/sleeper for my basement before heading to a bunch of stores tomorrow. When we went in we were greeted by Nick P who was extremely helpful in showing us which couch/sleepers they had to show. Well we don’t have to go to another store tomorrow. Nick P was able to explain everything about the couches, was extremely nice and didn’t push to sell us anything. The whole order process was no longer than 10-15mins and everything was explained thoroughly. Now we are just waiting on delivery. Very happy with the experience and now this will be our first stop when we need any other furniture.

This store scams its customers and doesn't follow up! I was sold 2 desk chairs at $600 each with their protection plan knowing the chairs were going to be used in a commercial space. The chairs are garbage and fell apart. When I went to use the plan I was told I couldn't because the chairs are in a commercial environment which voids the warranty I was sold and paid for. I brought the chair into the store where I was promised by the manager on duty Dan Mullin that I would be contacted the next day. It's been over 3 weeks and I have heard nothing. I'm stuck with a $1200 pile of garbage and a bunch of lies, from the point of sale to the managers I'm dealing with now. Do not buy from them, they will sell you products and services you cant use, all they want is a sale and your money.

Dan at Ashley Furniture in Patchogue has been helping me decide on a bed purchase for a while (I‘ve been stopping by periodically when I’m in the neighborhood to ask questions as I think of them.) He is always pleasant and courteous, and answers all my questions. He also didn’t rush me; he let me lie in the bed(s) until I felt comfortable in my choice. To make a long story short, I finally pulled the trigger and purchased 2 XL twin adjustable beds. I got a $400 discount for “Black Friday” with delayed delivery (my choice). Dan helped alleviate all of my concerns and made me feel confident that I was making the right decision. After all, beds are NOT cheap! I’m thoroughly satisfied with the service provided by Dan and the selections offered by Ashley Furniture. Ask Dan when you come in to look/buy. You won’t be disappointed.

Ashley's furniture makes buying furniture so easy. I bought several pieces of furniture recently and Carl has been so helpful and easy to work with. He has even helped me with orders after hours with great patience. He has taken all of the stress out of buying furniture and getting it delivered.

Do NOT use Ashley Furniture! I was quoted a price for my furniture in writing. I went to the store the same day to complete the order. When I got there I was told the salesman Carl had “made a mistake” and they couldn’t give me that price or any price close to it. I spoke to Alice, the manager who confirmed there was nothing they could do. I also reached out to Dana Braunschweiger, the regional manager, and received no response. This was my message to her: Hi Dana, I’m the customer that was just at your Patchogue location. I’m extremely dissatisfied and disappointed in Ashley furniture. I’ve never had dealings with your company and for this to be my first experience indicates it will be my last. I’m very upset that your company didn’t honor the total given to me. Unfortunately, word of mouth and social media is typically the best way to retain and or lose customers and when a company doesn’t do the right thing it will reflect poorly on them. Had you honored the price I was given, I would have purchased the items despite the hassle. Now I’m left with a poor image of your company and how you treat your customers. The lack of customer service at Ashley’s should be a warning to all, please spend your money elsewhere.

Terrible service from Ashley furniture and the customer service… they delivered a defective couch from day one. My issue has not been fixed and I have been having issues after issues with this “brand new couch” I am very disappointed and I will have to reach out to BBB at this point or a lawyer because I don’t know where else to turn too… I’m so sorry and upset that I didn’t read the terrible reviews about this company before hand… If only they just rectified the issue and replaced the couch from day one instead of trying to rebuild my couch like an old Buick. Worst Experience ever. Ever worse Product! Customer service is a joke. Can’t believe this place is still in business! Purchased a brand new couch paid around $4,000 for the couch only for it to arrive a cheap broken piece of junk. Ashley sent a service tech to rebuild our Couch rather than replace it with a new one. The service tech ripped the couch open and stuffed it a couch cushion to reinforce than terrible stapled it back together! Then 2 months later the pull out bed frame broke with my mother in law sleeping on it!! I was lied to every step of the way by the salesman in store! WHO swore to me this couch was top of the line. And that the couch was made with a new special tech that eliminated the painful bars in the pull out sofa! Boy was that ever a lie! Rather than just replacing the couch with a new one they keep sending a repair guy here to destroy my couch and leave! This place is a joke !! And should be shut down! Do NOT EVER BUY FROM ASHELY FURNITURE

We went into the store to browse today. Worked with Nick and found the perfect dining table at a great price so we went ahead with the purchase. Nick was knowledgeable and very accommodating Great experience

Horrible horrible company! Do not order anything from this company ever! Bought furniture from them and my couch came ripped not once, not twice but three times my items were delivered defective and unusable. Then they tried to convince us to keep the defective furniture that we paid thousands for after the 3rd attempt to deliver us defective items. We received a measly $250 back for the delivery fee when I had to take off 3 days of work to be home for the deliveries and now 4! They value there employees time because they clearly didn't want to do the work to return it for the 3rd time but they don't value your time in the sense you have to be home for these deliveries. Sure accidents happen but this is a joke that my furniture was unusable 3x now. You need to make things right by the customer when you MAKE MISTAKES. It's called good business and this company has none. Ashley furniture needs do a much better job at compensating their customers if they want them to return. We have a really bad taste in our mouth about this company and I made sure we advised all of our family and friends not to SHOP HERE!

Beware of purchasing furniture from Ashley and buying the extended warranty. It covers nothing. I bought living room and dining room furniture from them. The pop-up coffee table is peeling color coming off and warping. The dining room table, the finish came off where the plastic knobs underneath my lazy susan came in contact with the table top. I bought the extended warranty which is not cheap only to be told nothing is covered. I would have to pay for a technician come to my house. The set is about a year old. Why does the warranty state this is all covered, but I'm told this falls under normal wear and tear.

Sam and Alice were wonderful. Not your normal up-your-butt sales women and it was so much appreciated. I appreciate the opinions that I asked Sam for, sometimes you want people’s opinion, not just “whatever you like”. Great experience, hope to go back for more furniture.

Horrible customer service, I simply requested a service to move sofa to one of the floor in room on upper floor, first they refused to service saying the space is short and they are afraid something might so i asked them to move it to the same floor to another room and seems they didnt wanted to work today at all and refused to service saying floors are too nice and will get scratched. I repeatedly told them its a simple lift ill sign the waiver and take personal liability if any damage happens but the service guys were committed to not to move at all. Not even once he tried to lift the couch to see if it was heavy at all. Zero efforts just upfront refusal to service. Attached a photo to show the sofa which was to be moved a few feets away to another room. Also their customer rep told me NO RETURNS so im now forced to keep the sofa

Just really upset with the couch i have . It doesn’t even fit my living room and so the sectional part is moved to a diagonal side to fit .. just really annoying . When the people came to put it in we recieved a phone call if everything’s good we said yes and within the hour of trying to figure out how to fit it in our living room after that phone call we called back saying it doesn’t fit they proceeded to say they couldn’t do anything about it so basically I’m stuck with a couch that clearly cannot fit . Measure your space before buying so you don’t end up like me .

We bought bedroom furniture and dealt with ken and Alice and they went above and beyond to help us, they answered every question we had and we had a lot and they never rushed us or made us feel like we were asking to much, they were never pushy or followed us around the store like most sales people do but they were right there if we needed them. We came back the following day because we had some questions about pricing and ken spent so much time with us and made us feel so comfortable about our purchase. I cannot say enough about the two of them, they were extremely professional and such nice people to work with I highly recommend asking for them when you are looking for furniture

We were told our couch would be in before April 20, 2022 now they are telling us that the delivery will not be in until after May 5. They promised us it would be in and now it’s not going to happen! The sales person Lorraine even said to us that she would rather not promised a date when it would be there so she told us it would come in later which would’ve been April 20. Don’t listen to these people when they promise you something!

My girlfriend Kim and I walked into Ashley’s to just look at furniture, we walked out with 2 amazing bedroom sets, area rugs, coffee table and a 5 piece sectional. The saleswoman Dawn was incredible. She was extremely knowledgeable on the products inside the showroom and financing. Any question we had she answered it with enthusiasm and made us feel very important. A true pleasure to work with. I was lied to regarding the delivery of my furniture which was purchased on January 05, 2022. The first date was January 28 then it changed to January 21 now I am being told it will be February 14, 2022. Several calls have been made to the salesman and he hasn't returned my call. Response to the owner- I received notification on the 21of January That my order has arrived and I shall be receiving a call letting me know my delivery date. According to the warehouse, my entire order is there. Your salesman Craig Rissland told me that the owner purchased extra furniture due to the COVID Pandemic not having his CUSTOMERS waiting a long time for three delivery. Question Owner, who is lying to the customers?

First time here, after looking for furniture for my first apartment - and my mom and I were super impressed. Everything was very rich looking, yet very affordable! Excellent selection. Their staff, specifically Shawna was amazing! Very personable, helpful and extremely thorough. Would highly recommend!!

DO NOT DEAL WITH DAWN P OR THE MANAGER ALICE as they act like they care BUT the actions they took (NONE) A couple of years ago I bought a mattress from Sales Associate Dawn and because of her kind and professional manners I recently was in need of furniture and followed her to her new store and made a very large purchase; however a personal dilemma came up that I needed to cancel my order. I actually felt so badly with all the help she offered me during the sale REASSURING me with everything, I went in with a little gift. The problem is I came in as this was still in the SALE process to CANCEL and Dawn and her manager Alice wanted to try and save that Big sale and put me on a customer to call list explaining that there would be no deliveries until I called! And then table pads are delivered WITHOUT me calling for a delivery! (and no table delivered because the only call I made was to CANCEL!!! When I called her immediately and again Dawn told me she was not in the building but that she would handle it and NEVER did. Her manager Alice also told me she would handle this error on their part and never called me back and the same with Nina (In Operations)which is a BIG PROBLEM!!! All 3 Ashley Associates telling me they are going to handle their mistake and did NOTHING and now a charge of $454.05 appears on my bill!!!!!!!!! For table pads that were for a table I canceled!!!

I went to the Patchogue store to see if they would honor the online prices I got that were less and they did! Shawna was so lovely to deal with and extremely helpful! She went through my whole order until everything matched and I was completely satisfied. Such a pleasure and left a very happy customer! Thank you Shawna!

Terrific experience. The merchandise was affordable, but tasteful. The sales person, Ashley Richard was patient, knowledgeable and more than just "sales person" friendly. She was funny and engaging and we made sure to go back and see her to commit to our order. Alice was incredibly knowledgeable on every possible sleep item and made me very confident in my purchase. I ordered a sectional and a sleeper sofa about two months ago, i wanted it for christmas . Today is a 26 of december and i still don’t have anywhere to sit. However they promised that i’m going to have it around 21 st december , this is irreponsible and be aware if you need something soon don’t purchase it here!

My husband and I have been to this store a few times over the past month for great reasons. Initially, we went in to look around for a sectional. We were immediately greeted by Ashely who was a pleasure to work with. She walked around the entire store with us and asked questions to better understand our needs and wants in a sectional and was able to point us to sectionals that fit those needs. She went above and beyond by even helping us stage some of the furniture to help us visualize what it would look like in our living room. By doing this, we ended up not only purchasing the sectional, but came back to purchase two end tables and two chairs to go along with our sectional. Truly a great experience. Ashely you are great!
